Mega Edition: Kathlyn Ruemmler And The Ghost Of Jeffrey Epstein (6/5/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:05
It seems like every time we turn around, there's another
0:09
high profile politician or somebody connected to a high profile
0:13
politician who has ties to Jeffrey Epstein. And today we're
0:18
going to talk about another one of these people, and
0:21
that person is Catherine Rumler. Now, Catherine Rumler was the
0:27
lead council for Barack Obama. So this lady's a lawyer, right, well,
0:33
she should know that Jeffrey Epstein's a sexual predator and
0:36
a scumbag. Considering she went to the trial of Glenn Maxwell.
0:41
You know what she also did. She also had a
0:44
relationship with Jeffrey Epstein all the way up till at
0:47
least four months before he was arrested. So chew on
0:51
that for a little while. This lady who's running around
0:54
as Barack Obama's council inside of the White House is
0:58
also breaking bread with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. But
1:03
there's nothing to see here, right, we should talk about
1:06
alex Acosta some more. This article is from CNBC and
1:11
the headline Jeffrey Epstein referred Obama White House counsel to
1:15
JP Morgan as a potential customer. This article was authored
1:20
by Eamon Jabers, Don Gil and Dan Mannigan. Sex predator
1:27
Jeffrey Epstein was involved in establishing a client relationship between
1:31
Obama White House counsel Catherine Ruemler and JP Morgan Chase
1:36
in February twenty nineteen, four months before he was arrested
1:40
on federal child sex trafficking charges, a bombshell court filing
1:45
revealed Tuesday. Now we talked about Rumler before. What was
1:49
she doing at Glene Maxwell's trial? Why does this lady
1:52
have such a vested interest in what's going on with
1:55
Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein's buddies. And if we had
1:59
a legacy media that was worth its weight, it would
2:02
ask these questions.
2:03
Speaker 2: But it doesn't.
2:04
Speaker 1: It waits for this stuff to come out in these
2:06
core documents, even though all of these people, all of
2:10
these legacy media journalists, knew that this woman had ties
2:14
to Epstein years ago. But because they can't out their faves,
2:19
they just keep that shit on the back burner until
2:21
they can anymore, and then once it comes out, they
2:24
act like they're breaking the story. Rumler, who is now
2:27
general counsel for Goldman Sachs was touted by Epstein's personal
2:31
assistant to JP Morgan as an ideal customer. The filing shows,
2:36
and you know what's really ridiculous the fact that Donald
2:39
Trump and all of his band of merry robbers get
2:42
hit with a RICO charge, but none of these people
2:45
have ever even sniffed any kind of RICO case. You
2:49
mean to tell me that all of these folks that
2:51
were with Epstein, taking money from him, sending him money,
2:55
having him wash it, engaging in his criminal enterprise, they
2:59
weren't engaging in an ongoing conspiracy. The RICO statutes were
3:03
literally put into law to stop criminal enterprises like Jeffrey Epstein's.
3:08
The fact is he was connected to way too many
3:10
people that were powerful for that to ever happen. You
3:14
mean to tell me that there was enough evidence for
3:16
the USVII to open a SECO case, but not a
3:19
RICO case.
3:21
Speaker 2: Stop it.
3:21
Speaker 1: The whole entire point for everybody involved, it seems like,
3:25
is to get rich.
3:26
Speaker 2: That's it.
3:26
Speaker 1: Not justice, certainly not any repercussions for the dirt bags
3:30
who were involved. It suggests that JP Morgan take Rumler
3:34
on as a client, which the bank warmly Embraced came
3:38
almost six years after JP Morgan said it had effectively
3:41
fired Epstein as a client after internal controls repeatedly raised
3:46
red flags about them. So it's all a bunch of bullshit.
3:50
JP Morgan, their stupid ass narrative, big fat lie USVII.
3:55
Their narrative, A big fat lie Rumler her narrative, A
3:59
big fat lie lie. You see where I'm going with this.
4:02
Everybody involved, they're all liars. And while Trump was president,
4:06
we heard from a lot of people who had a
4:08
lot to say about holding politicians accountable. Well, now that
4:12
the shoes on the other foot, I'm hearing a whole
4:14
lot of silence from those very people. You know what
4:17
that's called, folks, That's called hypocrisy. And anybody out here
4:21
carrying water for any politician, no matter what letters next
4:25
to their name, who was paling around with Epstein is
4:29
part of the problem. End came five months before Epstein
4:32
killed himself allegedly in August twenty nineteen in a Manhattan
4:36
federal jail where he was being held without bail pending trial.
4:41
And it's also funny to me that all these knuckleheads
4:44
out here, they'll talk about the government is crooked here.
4:47
The government is involved in all kinds of cover ups there.
4:51
But when it comes to Epstein, Oh no, no, he
4:54
killed himself. Didn't you read the OIG report? Yeah, I
4:57
read it, and there was a bunch of apps ste garbage. Okay,
5:01
that's what it was. We waited over four years for
5:05
the OIG report and for the Inspector General to tell
5:09
us that there were systemic issues within the Bureau of
5:12
Prisons and within the DOJ, like we didn't know that.
5:15
Already nobody was held accountable, nobody went to prison, even
5:19
those guards got off with a slap on the wrist.
5:23
So what exactly happened in the wake of that OIG report?
5:26
Speaker 2: Nothing?
5:27
Speaker 1: Okay, that OIG report was put out to help further
5:31
the narrative that the government's been pitching this whole entire time,
5:34
and that is it was all just a big, gigantic
5:37
mistake and everything was a coincidence. And if you believe
5:40
anything else, you're a conspiracy theorist. And the gas lighting continues.
5:46
Rumler declined to comment through a Goldman SAX spokesman. So
5:50
why was she hanging out with this dude after he
5:53
was already a convicted sex offender, and how come nobody
5:56
is calling for her head. So we're all of those
5:59
loud mouths that were just yapping and yapping and yapping
6:02
about a cost a NonStop. But now that we got
6:05
some meat on the bone here, and the meat on
6:07
the bone is some of their faves. All these people,
6:11
all of a sudden, well they have other things to
6:13
talk about. Huh, all of a sudden, it's not so
6:16
much fun to talk about Epstein anymore, and to try
6:19
to politicize it, you know why, here's some breaking news. Okay,
6:23
both sides were in on it. None of your politicians
6:26
care about you. And all the bullshit that you see
6:29
on a daily basis, all the fighting, all the arguing,
6:32
the majority of it is over artificially created wedge issues
6:37
that they have created to keep you busy, so you
6:40
don't realize that your whole entire life is being pilfered
6:43
by them. But go on with your bad selves and
6:45
keep arguing whose shit smells better? Because the sad truth
6:49
is both of those political parties, that's all they're offering
6:52
us shit, and the sad part is people continue to
6:55
lap it up by the metric ton CNBC separately em
7:00
elder to ask her how she knew Epstein and what
7:03
knowledge she had of his history of being convicted in
7:06
two thousand and eight of a sex crime in Florida.
7:09
So you mean to tell me that a lawyer who
7:11
was the head counsel at the White House has no
7:14
idea that Epstein was a sex predator. She had no idea. Huh.
7:18
We have to call and get confirmation about that. If
7:20
you had a newspaper or a TV after two thousand
7:24
and eight, I don't want to hear shit about you
7:26
had no idea who Epstein was. You knew, you didn't care.
7:31
The Manhattan Federal Court filing detailing or connection to Epstein
7:35
was filed by the government of the US Virgin Islands,
7:38
which is suing JP Morgan. The American territory alleges that
7:43
JP Morgan enabled and benefited from epstein sex trafficking of
7:47
young women to the Virgin Islands, where he had a
7:50
home during the years he maintained accounts at the bank
7:54
from nineteen ninety eight through twenty thirteen. JP Morgan denies
7:58
any wrongdoing in the case, where the Territory is seeking
8:02
at least one hundred and ninety million dollars in damages.
8:06
Imagine trying to get one hundred and ninety million dollars
8:09
for some shit you were complicit in as well. Must
8:12
be nice. I wish I could double dip on both ends.
8:16
The bank last month agreed to settle a similar lawsuit
8:19
in the same court by an Epstein accuser, paying two
8:22
hundred and ninety million dollars to her and other Epstein survivors.
8:27
The case is scheduled to go to trial in late October.
8:31
Even after his exit, right up until his arrest in
8:33
twenty nineteen, JP Morgan continued to work with Epstein, the
8:38
Virgin Island said in a filing. The filing says that
8:41
JP Morgan admits Epstein was involved in the establishment of
8:45
a customer relationship with Catherine Ruemler, who was the longest
8:49
serving White House General Counsel under former President Barack Obama.
8:54
I wonder how many drone strikes this lady, okayed. I
8:58
wonder if she's the one who gave the go ahead
9:00
to use drone strikes on American citizens without due process.
9:04
Probably a pretty decent question to ask, no. The filing
9:08
says that in February twenty nineteen, Epstein's assistant Leslie Groff
9:13
offered to introduce Mary Erdos, a top JP Morgan executive,
9:17
too Roomler, because she wanted to open an account with
9:21
JP Morgan and Epstein thought the two of them would bond.
9:25
Erdos escalated the referral to Stacy Friedman, JP Morgan's general counsel,
9:30
who responded, she is a rock star litigator at Latham.
9:34
I would think she would be a great client, the
9:36
Virgin Islands said in its filing. So she's a rock
9:39
star general council and a star litigator at Latham, but
9:44
she has no idea that Jeffrey Epstein is a sex predator.
9:48
That's what they want you to believe. As you all know,
9:52
I'm certainly not some highly educated Ivy league jerkoff. I
9:56
do know that two plus two equals four. Even teach
10:00
that in the public school system in Clark County. So
10:04
all this other bullshit that they're talking about, Oh, I
10:06
had no idea. I didn't know what he was up to.
10:10
Just miss me with all of it. I don't believe you.
10:12
Let me go on the record right here, Okay, all
10:14
those people who say that they are all lying. That
10:18
is how I feel, and any of them that don't
10:20
like what I have to say, well, they know where
10:22
to find me. Rumler at the time worked at the
10:26
law firm Latham and Watkins. In twenty twenty, she joined
10:31
Goldman Sachs as a partner and now is Goldman's chief
10:34
Legal Officer and general counsel. The filing also said that
10:39
Epstein at one time referred as a potential JP Morgan
10:43
client Nicholas Rabisi, a gaming advisor who for decades ran
10:48
casinos for former President Donald Trump. And all the nonsense
10:52
about how Trump had nothing to do with Epstein and
10:54
Trump didn't even really know him, that's all bullshit too.
10:57
Trump and Epstein were rolling together for quite some time.
11:00
They had a falling out, and a lot of people
11:03
say that falling out had to do with underage girls
11:06
being pilfered from mar A Lago. We know that Virginia
11:09
Roberts was found there and that's why Donald Trump allegedly
11:13
tossed Jeffrey Epstein from the property. But what about the
11:16
times leading up to that point. There is no denying
11:19
that leading up to their falling out that Trump and
11:22
Epstein were boys. They most certainly were. Now, just like
11:26
I say with Clinton, nobody has come forward and said
11:29
that Trump was involved in abusing girls with Jeffrey Epstein.
11:33
And I honestly find it laughable as hell when people
11:36
try and set Donald Trump up as some kind of
11:39
great warrior against human trafficking. Give me a break, dude.
11:43
This guy was running these stupid ass modeling pageants and
11:45
all the rest of that nonsense for how long. And
11:48
we all know about the modeling industry. We all know
11:50
about Gerald Marie, we all know about Jean Luke Brunel,
11:54
and we all know Trump was involved in that world too.
11:57
So look, all of these people that everybody want to
11:59
put up on these pedestals as heroes, as people who
12:02
really care about you, they're crusading for you.
12:05
Speaker 2: Again.
12:06
Speaker 1: They are not not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama, not
12:10
Bill Clinton. None of them care about you. They care
12:13
about wealth and power, and they will say and do
12:16
anything to attain it. Rebis did not immediately respond to
12:20
requests for comment. JP Morgan claims in court filings that
12:25
the Virgin Islands was itself complicit in the crimes of
12:28
Jeffrey Epstein, arguing that he gave high ranking government officials money,
12:33
advice and favors in exchange for looking the other way
12:36
when he traffied young women. Well, yeah, that's a fact, certainly,
12:41
something we've talked about here now literally four years and
12:45
not for nothing. But I told you this second that
12:47
that SICCO suit was put into effect, that this was
12:50
all a cash grab, and that the US Virgin Islands
12:53
was just as complicit as JP Morgan, if not more so.
12:58
They had subpoena power. They were the ones running the
13:01
whole island, So why didn't they stop Jeffrey Epstein. JP
13:05
Morgan also argues that its former executive Jess Daly, who
13:09
was friends with Epstein when he was a client of
13:11
the bank, is responsible for any civil liability of the
13:15
bank due to its business relationship with the sex offender.
13:19
On Tuesday, newly unsealed court filings by the bank show
13:23
that Epstein was asked by former US Virgin Islands Governor
13:28
John Dejeong Junior for a loan of two hundred and
13:30
fifteen thousand dollars after DeJong was arrested on embezzlement charges
13:35
that were later dismissed. Epstein's company also paid Djong's wife, Cecil,
13:41
a three hundred thousand dollars lump sum severance payment after
13:45
Epstein killed himself in a federal jail allegedly while awaiting
13:49
trial on child sex trafficking charges in August twenty nineteen.
13:54
Speaker 2: J P.
13:54
Speaker 1: Morgan documents say she had worked for Epstein at his
13:58
Southern Trust company. No nothing to see here, folks. The
14:02
governor of the island, Okay, John Dejeong Junior, asked for
14:06
a two hundred and fifteen thousand dollars loan because he
14:08
got nailed for embezzlement. Also, on top of that, his
14:12
wife was working with Epstein and trying to manipulate the
14:16
sex registry laws on the island. But there's nothing to
14:20
see here. Everything's fine down in the Virgin Islands. Give
14:23
them some more money. The documents also say that another
14:27
Epstein employee who work for him in the Virgin Islands
14:31
was granted a US Customs and Border Protection security seal
14:35
which allowed that worker to escort passengers through customs screening areas.
14:40
And I wonder why they would need that. Oh that's
14:42
right to bring underage girls through, to bring girls through
14:46
without passports, you know, the whole nine. So it was
14:50
JP Morgan's fault that that was happening too, or did
14:53
the US Virgin Islands have something to do with that.
14:56
And again, I don't know how none of these survivors
14:59
have filed the law lawsuit yet against the US Virgin Islands.
15:02
If it was me, it would have been done yesterday.
15:06
I'd be shown up there with a team of lawyers
15:08
and I'd be demanding my share of the settlement that
15:11
they've already got. Several times over. The Bank in other
15:16
core filings, has said that Epstein paid for the school
15:19
tuitions of the children of the Dujongs, and that Cecil
15:23
had made efforts to obtain student visas and a work
15:26
license for young women connected to Epstein. A spokesman for
15:31
the Virgin Islands Attorney General's office told CNBC that Epstein's
15:35
loan of former Governor DeJong occurred after he left office
15:39
in twenty fifteen. The charges against DeJong were dropped in
15:44
early twenty sixteen by the Virgin Islands Department of Justice
15:48
after he agreed to a separate monetary settlement. So down
15:52
in the Virgin Islands, you can do whatever you want
15:54
if you have a bag. That's what they're telling us.
15:57
Leon Black. You can pay your way out sixty two
15:59
and a half million Epstein, you want your state out. Cool,
16:03
We want one hundred and five million. And it goes
16:05
on and on and on with no arrests, nobody going
16:08
to prison, and certainly no motherfucking Rico case. CNBC has
16:13
reached out to comment from John DeJong via an asset
16:17
management company where he is the director. The Virgin Island
16:21
spokesman has also said that it was the federal government
16:25
and not the Virgin Islands government that granted the US
16:29
Customs and Border Protections security seal. Oh yeah again. The
16:34
Virgin Islands is just a big victim here. They had
16:37
no idea what was going on, and this dude was
16:40
just running amok on the island with none of the
16:42
politicians aware of what was cracking off. The Virgin Islands
16:47
has said that JP Morgan's leadership kept Epstein as a
16:50
client for years, despite multiple warnings about him being raised
16:54
internally at the bank, which included payments to young women
16:58
and a two thousand and eight sex crime conviction in
17:01
Florida which led to a jail term. In its new
17:05
court filing on Tuesday, the Virgin Island cited a July
17:09
twenty eleven email between Epstein and Erdos after JP Morgan's
17:13
rapid response team decided that Epstein should be off boarded
17:18
as a client, and after JP Morgan's general counsel told
17:21
Erdos that Epstein was not a person we should do
17:24
business with period, Airdos in Epstein emailed after he and
17:29
the bank agreed to settle his lawsuit against JP Morgan
17:32
related to money he said he was owned by bear Stearns,
17:36
the investment bank taken over by JP Morgan. On July
17:40
twenty six, twenty eleven, Epstein wrote to Erdos, let's move
17:45
on and make some real money. The filing said air
17:48
Dose responded onwards and upwards on so many fronts. The
17:52
filing said Epstein was not severed as a JP Morgan
17:56
client for another two years. The New Virgin Islands filings
18:00
said that Staley, in his deposition for the lawsuit, disclosed
18:04
the names of people and companies at Epstein had referred
18:07
to the bank as potential clients. An unsealed portion of
18:11
Staley's deposition was made public on Tuesday. Among the high
18:16
powered names listed in the court filing are Google co
18:19
founder Sergey Brinn, Sultan Akhmad bin Suliman of Dubai, former
18:25
Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, former Treasury Department secretary Larry Summers,
18:30
and television journalist Katie Kirk. And there it is Charlie Rose,
18:36
Katie Kirk, George Stephanopolis. And you wonder why this story
18:40
was never really told? You wonder why a dumbass like
18:43
me has to talk about this story every day? That's
18:47
because your legacy media, the same people that are hyping
18:50
you up to hate your neighbor, they refuse to cover
18:53
this story because guess what, some of their faves might
18:57
have been caught up. And those are just the facts, Okay,
19:00
those are the facts. People like Katie Kurk, Charlie Rose,
19:04
George Stepanopolis, the dickheads at ABC, they were more interested
19:09
in making sure that they maintain their access to people
19:11
like the Royals than they were about telling the story
19:15
of the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. And for me, anyway,
19:19
I will never forget or forgive the dishonesty that the
19:22
legacy media has shown throughout this whole entire thing. And
19:26
just keep in mind, if they lie to you about this,
19:29
what else will they lie to you about? And what
19:31
else are they lying to you about? Right now? Staley,
19:35
who had been head of the bank's asset and wealth
19:37
management divisions, testified that he met all those people at
19:41
Epstein's townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The
19:46
deposition also shows that Staley said that he had spoken
19:49
to JP Morgan CEO Jamie Diamond in two thousand and six,
19:53
when Epstein was arrested on Florida state charges of procuring
19:57
a minor for prostitution and so elicitation of a prostitute.
20:02
JP Morgan has denied that claim. Staley admits that in
20:06
two thousand and six, Jamie Diamond communicated with him regarding
20:10
Epstein's arrest, the Virgin Island said in the court filing.
20:14
Staley also testified that on or about July twenty six,
20:18
two thousand and six, he spoke to Diamond about Epstein's
20:21
indictment because Diamond was his boss, and the indictment of Epstein,
20:25
a client of the bank, was a very, very public event,
20:29
and that makes sense to me. I've been a manager before,
20:33
I've had to come and talk to my boss about
20:35
shit that went wrong, So why would we think that
20:38
the same wouldn't hold true for Jess Staley and Jamie Diamon.
20:42
Elsewhere in the deposition, Staley answered questions about going to
20:46
see Epstein after an article was published in two thousand
20:49
and six that said Jeffrey Epstein crave big homes, elite friends,
20:54
and investigators say underage girls. The article also stated that
20:59
two of Epstein's former employees told investigators that young looking
21:03
girls showed up to perform massages two or three times
21:07
a day when Epstein was in town. The Virgin Islands
21:10
filing said on July twenty fifth, two thousand and six,
21:14
Staley met with Epstein in person at Epstein's home. In
21:18
that visit, Epstein admitted to the alleged conduct of engaging
21:22
in sex for money with young women, only denying the ages.
21:27
Staley afterward wrote Urdos, I went and saw him last night.
21:31
I've never seen him so shaken. He also adamantly denies
21:34
the ages, Staley wrote Urdos. The filing notes in his deposition,
21:40
Staley was asked the conduct that he was being accused of.
21:44
He was admitting that he did. He was just denying
21:47
that he knew the ages of the victims, right, Staley replied, correct,
21:52
And you were reporting that back to the bank and
21:54
that was being denied. Is the ages right? A lawyer
21:58
for the Virgin Island, said, Staley said, right. He then
22:02
conceded that the bank knew that Epstein had admitted to
22:05
engaging in sex for money with young women while denying
22:09
they were under age. The lawyer then asked, and so
22:13
when the bank is receiving that information, they now know
22:17
what you know, which is this is the type of
22:19
conduct that our client is engaging in, and the only
22:23
dispute that he has about the allegations are the ages
22:27
of the victims. Right, Staley replied, that's correct. So what's
22:31
the moral of the story here. The moral of the
22:34
story is this, they all knew, they were all in
22:37
on it, and it doesn't matter what political party they're
22:41
a part of. All right, folks, that's going to do
22:43
it for this one. All of the information that goes
22:46
with this episode can be found in the description box.
22:50
What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
22:55
I don't think there's any debate at this point just
22:57
how close Jeffrey Epstein was to the Clinton's Yet nobody
23:01
ever wants to talk about it. It's one of those
23:04
unfortunate facts for a lot of people. But you know
23:08
who has talked about the Clinton's involvement with Jeffrey Epstein
23:12
quite a bit, and it's going to shock some of
23:14
you out there, and that's the Daily Beast. Now, Kate
23:18
Bricklett from over at the Daily Beast has talked quite
23:21
a bit about the Clintons and their involvement with Jeffrey Epstein,
23:26
and that should be acknowledged because it can't be easy
23:29
to do over at the Daily Beast, right, certainly not
23:32
a right wing paper, if you will, not a paper
23:35
that is known to go after people like Epstein. But
23:39
guess what, Sometimes the truth matters, and if the truth
23:42
happens to run over one of your quote unquote political faves,
23:47
then so what the question you should be asking is
23:51
why were they involved with these scumbags in the first place?
23:55
Not how can I rehabilitate their image? Today, we have
23:59
an article from the Daily Beast and the author is
24:03
Kate Bricklett.
24:04
Speaker 2: This article was published.
24:07
Speaker 1: On November two of twenty twenty, headline what was Clinton
24:15
White House lawyer doing at Epstein's arraignment? In July twenty nineteen,
24:21
all eyes were on Jeffrey Epstein as he entered a
24:24
Manhattan federal courtroom in prison blues and orange sneakers. The reclusive,
24:30
multimillionaire pedophile used to luxurious johns around the globe with
24:34
powerful friends, appeared disheveled as he was charged with sexually
24:38
abusing dozens of underage girls. Boy, has there ever been
24:43
somebody who deserved that more? Has there ever been a
24:46
person who's deserved to have to do the perp walk,
24:49
been brought into jail, brought into prison and embarrassed the
24:52
way this scumbag was the Only thing that would have
24:56
been taste here was to see the process through and
24:59
actually give these girls some justice. Police had arrested the
25:05
sixty six year old financier pedophile two days before, and
25:08
the packed crowd of journalists, lawyers, and survivors now watched
25:12
and plead not guilty to child sex trafficking charges, more
25:17
than a decade after he avoided serious prison time from
25:20
molesting scores of teenage survivors at his mansion in Palm Beach,
25:24
Florida and elsewhere. We know that, But while the press
25:28
focused on Epstein, one high profile spectator apparently went unnoticed,
25:33
at least unnoticed by most. Two eyewitnesses say former White
25:39
House lawyer Catherine Rumler was at Epstein's court appearance that
25:43
day in his support. The Daily Beast has learned. Now,
25:46
remember I didn't go and drag this out of a
25:50
bright bar or whatever the right wing outlets are.
25:54
Speaker 2: This is the Daily Beast telling you this.
25:56
Speaker 1: So it's up to you if you want to feign
25:59
cognitive dissonance and act like you don't know what the
26:01
Clintons are up to, or do you want to see
26:04
them be held accountable like everybody else should be. And
26:10
the question again is why is a lawyer who is
26:13
working directly with the Clinton Foundation and the Clintons showing
26:16
up here as support for Jeffrey Epstein? Ask yourselves why
26:21
that would happen? And then if it was just this,
26:23
you could say, ah, you know what, maybe they had
26:25
a professional relationship and she was there as a professional friend.
26:29
Even that's gross, you can understand, but that's not the case.
26:35
Why is she there supporting Jeffrey Epstein? Two people who
26:41
separately attended the hearings, said Rumler, who served as White
26:44
House counsel during the Clinton and Obama administrations, had a
26:48
professional relationship with Epstein and was seated behind his defense team.
26:53
I mean, for real, of all the people you can
26:57
go and support this is the guy, you go and
26:59
do it. This is second time around. Now, remember this
27:03
isn't the first arrest, this is the second time. So
27:05
anyone who's still supporting him at this point knows what
27:08
he is, knows who he is, and knows what he is.
27:11
So what was Catherine Rumler doing there? At the time.
27:17
Rumler was a partner at Latham and Watkins and global
27:21
chair of the law firms White Collar Defense and Investigations
27:24
Practice Epstein Knewer. One source with knowledge told The Daily
27:28
Beast of her appearance in court on July twenty nineteen,
27:33
he had a professional relationship with her. I think he
27:36
may have reached out to her to be involved in
27:39
the case. The source said. Rumler's appearance was probably just
27:43
a show of support. Even showing up there is a
27:47
bad look. Nobody's gonna question Bill Clinton, Why is lawyer's
27:50
showing up to support Jeffrey Epstein. She worked for a large,
27:56
prominent firm. The person said. There was some exploration of
28:00
her joining the defense team, but it wasn't going to happen.
28:03
Rumler did not return messages seeking comment. A spokeswoman for
28:07
Latham and Watkins said neither the law firm nor Rumler
28:11
represented Epstein. She did not return follow up emails from
28:15
The Daily Beast. Well why would she? What kind of
28:18
good answer could she possibly give you of why she's
28:21
there to support Jeffrey Epstein. Martin Weinberg, a lawyer for
28:25
Epstein since two thousand and eight, said Rumler didn't represent
28:29
the financier pedophile and wasn't a member of the defense
28:32
team led by himself and Reid Wingarten. I can state
28:36
with certainty that Kathy Rumler did not represent mister Epstein
28:40
and did not appear at any hearing at any time
28:43
on his behalf, Weinberg said in an email. Rumler has
28:48
previously represented here you go, the Clinton Foundation and George Nader,
28:52
a key witness in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation
28:57
who was sentenced to ten years behind bars for child
29:00
held sex trafficking. Hmm, interesting connections to the Clinton Foundation.
29:05
Huh hmm. Now how much money? Can so and refresh
29:08
my memory? How much money did Jeffrey Epstein pony up
29:12
for the Clinton Foundation?
29:13
Speaker 2: Oh?
29:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, a whole lot. She left Latham and
29:18
Watkins in April to become Global head of Regulatory Affairs
29:21
at Goldman Sachs. Huh, another fantastic spot to land at.
29:26
After the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
29:29
last month, Fox News reported Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden
29:34
possibly put Rumler on the short list of nominees to
29:37
fill a future scot His seat.
29:39
Speaker 2: Why not, Ah, you know what? Bring them all in?
29:42
Speaker 1: Who cares? It's all about appearances and optics anyway?
29:45
Speaker 2: Right?
29:46
Speaker 1: The other sides evil, they're the boogeyman. But these guys
29:49
are doing the same thing. How many bankers are you
29:51
gonna have throughout the Biden administration? How many XCIA officials
29:57
give me a break already? Indeed, Rumler and other Obama
30:03
era officials hosted a DC event for Biden last November
30:08
as his fundraising waned before the primaries. According to The
30:12
Washington Examiner, Rumler told the crowd the twenty twenty election
30:15
came down to character, and there is no one who
30:18
has the strength and the quality of character, no other
30:22
like Joe Biden. Rumler has long traveled the revolving door
30:26
between public service and Latham and Watkins, whose found nicks
30:30
of former high ranking government lawyers inspired a Wall Street
30:34
Journal blog to call the firm, the dojys Home away
30:38
from Home.
30:39
Speaker 2: Look, how many.
30:40
Speaker 1: More ties do you need between the Department of Justice
30:43
and Jeffrey Epstein. Nobody's saying that Rumler was there to
30:47
defend Jeffrey Epstein at least I'm not. But why was
30:50
she there in the first place. Shouldn't she have to
30:52
answer for that? And just another tie to Bill Clinton?
30:56
At what point do you look at all of this
30:58
and say, all right, we have to get to the
31:00
bottom of it. There needs to be a full on
31:02
investigation to see what Bill Clinton's role in all of
31:05
this was. At Latham, Rumler defended companies in high stakes
31:11
litigations and led internal probes into misconduct, and averted indictments
31:17
through Department of Justice declinations or decisions not to prosecute,
31:22
which are similar to non prosecution agreements. She did, however,
31:26
secure a non prosecution agreement for Microsoft Hungary, which last
31:30
year paid eight point seven million in penalties to resolve
31:34
a foreign bribery case. Now, I don't faulter for any
31:38
of that stuff, right, not at all.
31:41
Speaker 2: You're a lawyer.
31:41
Speaker 1: This is what you do. I understand that lawyers are
31:44
pretty scummy and they're going to do scummy things. But
31:47
my question is, what's your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, Why
31:51
would you be in this courtroom, and how does it
31:53
relate to Bill Clinton. Her career began with a clerkship
32:01
under a federal appeals judge, followed by a job at
32:04
litigation Boutique Zuckerman Spader in Washington, d C. Before she
32:09
was hired as a lawyer for President Clinton from two
32:12
thousand to two thousand and one. She then moved to
32:15
the Justice Department, where she made headlines as a lead
32:18
prosecutor in the Enron financial fraud trial. Winngarten, one of
32:23
Epstein's DC based legal eagles, faced off with Rumler when
32:26
he represented Richard Causey, Enron's former chief accounting officer, who
32:31
pleaded guilty to securities fraud. Nah, no connections here, nobody
32:35
knew anybody. This is all just another big coincidens. In
32:40
two thousand and seven, she left government for Latham and Watkins.
32:44
She joined the Obama administration two years later as the
32:48
Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General at the DOJ. Rumler replaced
32:53
her mentor Bob Bauer, as White House counsel in twenty
32:56
eleven and became one of President Obama's closest confidence. When
33:01
she announced her resignation in twenty fourteen, Obama said, Kathy
33:05
has become one of my most trusted advisors.
33:07
Speaker 2: Over the past few years.
33:10
Speaker 1: I deeply value her smarts, her judgment, and her wit,
33:13
but most importantly, her uncanny ability to see around the
33:17
corners that nobody else anticipates. Boy, we could go in
33:21
a million directions with a president saying that.
33:23
Speaker 2: Huh.
33:25
Speaker 1: I guess the real question should be, And it's a
33:27
pretty simple one, considering she's obviously one of the smartest.
33:30
Speaker 2: Women in the room.
33:32
Speaker 1: What were you doing at Jeffrey Epstein's trial? Why were
33:35
you there, what were your interests in that? What's your
33:37
relationship with the Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation,
33:41
and what sort of contact did you have with Jeffrey
33:43
Epstein throughout the years?
33:44
Speaker 2: Pretty simple. You see how quickly that happened.
33:46
Speaker 1: Get her on paper, let's get her under oath, and
33:49
let's see what she has to say. Later, asked in
33:53
an interview, how she'd like to be remembered, Roomler paraphrase Bower,
33:57
she told it like it was. She never put even
34:01
light icing on the cake. Well, that's all fine and well,
34:04
and I'm sure she's a great lawyer and probably a
34:06
decent human being, But are you gonna answer the questions
34:10
that have to do with this or no. After the
34:13
Obama White House, Rumler returned to Latham, but was soon
34:16
in the running to replace Attorney General Eric Holder, but
34:20
she withdrew her name from consideration, reportedly because she feared
34:23
her closeness to Obama and her handling of matters, including
34:27
the twenty twelve attack on the US consulate in Benghazi
34:31
and the Secret Service prostitution scandal in Cartagena, Colombia, would
34:35
make for a difficult confirmation process, or she just didn't
34:39
want to be aired out. Let's just call it what
34:41
it is. Why don't we always dog walk around this shit?
34:43
What did she do down there that was so bad?
34:48
She felt strongly that it would not serve the Department
34:51
well and that it certainly wouldn't serve the president well
34:54
to have the confirmation process be a series of partisan
34:56
attacks on the president rather than a reason approach to
35:00
what the Department of Justice really needs right now. One
35:04
source told Politico, Look, it doesn't matter who you bring
35:06
up there as a president, they're gonna go after him.
35:09
The other side, they're gonna act like fools and cause
35:11
a bunch of gridlock. That's how this game is played.
35:16
Under the Clinton administration, Rumler defended the White House in
35:19
congressional investigations and Independent Council issues, including those related the
35:24
former Pentagon worker Linda Tripp, who famously taped colleague Mana Lewinsky.
35:30
According to one Washington Post profile on Enron prosecutors, so
35:35
you know, she was a Clintonista. She's locked in, she's
35:38
drank the kool aid, and she'll do whatever she can
35:40
to protect good old Bill.
35:42
Speaker 2: Was she there to keep.
35:43
Speaker 1: An eye on the child to make sure nobody mentioned
35:45
Bill's name?
35:46
Speaker 2: I don't know.
35:47
Speaker 1: I don't have any evidence to prove that, but I'm
35:49
just speculating, you know, like the Washington Post does or
35:52
the New York Times don't They love to just speculate.
36:00
Rumler's ties to the Clintons didn't end with Bill's presidency.
36:03
She's mentioned in emails published on Wiki leaks, including those
36:07
belonging to Hillary Clinton's twenty sixteen campaign chair John Podesta.
36:12
One email attachment listed Rumler under a March twenty and
36:15
sixteen list of possible campaign vetters, while several other emails
36:20
indicated Rumler was a participant in more than one bi
36:24
weekly Hill strategy call. Why should it shock you? Very
36:28
close to the Clintons. They want people around them. Look,
36:31
you think that sycophants are something that is new. The
36:36
Clinton's been surrounded by them for years and nobody ever
36:40
was really breaking ranks until a guy like Doug banded.
36:48
And here's where the Epstein stuff really comes into play,
36:51
in my opinion. In August twenty and sixteen, Rumler was
36:55
identified as the Clinton Foundation's principal lawyer when Reuters as
36:59
well as The New York Post reported the organization hired
37:02
a security firm in the wake of suspected hacking. It's
37:06
unclear how long she represented the Clinton Family charity or
37:09
what other work she's done for them. Rumler also recently
37:13
defended the Democratic National Committee and Perkins Coy, the law
37:17
firm representing Hillary Clinton's twenty sixteen campaign, in a defamation
37:22
suit filed by Carter Page, a former campaign advisor to
37:26
Donald Trump. Now does that sound like somebody who isn't
37:29
close to the heart of the Clintons, somebody who isn't trusted?
37:34
So again, I ask you why was she at Jeffrey
37:37
Epstein's trial? What was she doing there? And we all
37:40
know that Epstein had ties to the Clinton Foundation. We
37:42
all know that he had ties to the Clinton Global Initiative.
37:46
So what was she doing there?
37:48
Speaker 2: And what were her.
37:49
Speaker 1: Ties to Epstein? That's the real question. Nobody ever hammers
37:53
it down. Though nobody ever puts Bill Clinton on the carpet.
37:57
You know, they handle them with kids gloves. Page claimed
38:03
the parties developed the Steele dossier, which was replete with
38:06
falsehoods about numerous individuals associated with the Trump campaign, leading
38:11
the Feds to wrongflee and covertly survelle Page as an
38:16
agent of Russia. A federal judge in Chicago toss Page's
38:19
lawsuit in August, saying the court lack jurisdiction. Page filed
38:23
a similar suit in Oklahoma in twenty eighteen, but it
38:27
was dismissed for the same reason. Now, we're not going
38:29
to dive into all of that, but there certainly was
38:32
a lot of weird stuff going on, and there certainly
38:35
still is a lot of weird stuff going on as
38:38
far as the courts go, as far as the misdirection goes.
38:44
Rumlers alleged ties to Epstein raised further questions on the
38:48
financier pedophiles high power connections, including Bill Clinton. Clinton's name
38:53
has surfaced repeatedly in court filings related to Epstein and
38:57
his accomplice co conspirator, General alaray On Scuzbag Glene Maxwell,
39:02
and he took international trips with the perverted pair on
39:05
Epstein's private jet. And we know what was more than that.
39:09
The former president denies knowing anything about Epstein's abuse of
39:13
young women and girls, and denies one survivor's claims that
39:16
he visited Epstein's Virgin Islands compound. So he's basically calling
39:21
Virginia Roberts a liar. So there's your hero, Bill Clinton.
39:25
For all of you out there who still think this
39:27
is a good guy, I don't know how you can
39:28
support these survivors and act like Bill Clinton isn't somebody
39:32
who should be targeted for a more thorough look here,
39:37
because the red flags are everywhere, and if you deny them,
39:40
well that's on you. Several Clinton staffers are listed in
39:46
Epstein's infamous rolodex, including Cheryl Mills, who was Deputy White
39:50
House Council for Clinton during his nineteen ninety nine impeachment trial.
39:55
Mills was an advisor to Hillary Clinton's two thousand and
39:58
eight presidential run, and she chief of staff when Clinton
40:01
became Secretary of State. And also, let's remember when Hillary
40:05
Clinton was at Secretary of State and she was in charge,
40:08
she gave Alexander de Rossi, Glenn Maxwell's nephew, a job
40:12
at the State Department, where he went on to work
40:14
on the glorious Arab Spring. How did that work out
40:17
for everybody? Along with Podesta, Mills oversaw Clinton's search for
40:26
a running mate in twenty sixteen and was included in
40:29
emails with Rumler. In years past, both Epstein and Maxwell
40:34
donated thousands to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Library. That's
40:38
more than that, Okay, millions, millions and millions, not thousands,
40:42
And that's from Epstein's own lawyers. We've went over that before,
40:46
We've read the articles, we've provided the receipts. When Epstein's
40:53
lawyers secretly negotiated a plea deal for his abuse of
40:56
miners in Florida in two thousand and seven, they plugged
40:59
his friends with former President Clinton and claimed he helped
41:03
to create the Clinton Global Initiative. There you have it, folks,
41:08
Daily Beasts telling you that, not me. I'm just here
41:11
to offer up my opinion to go along with it,
41:13
and from where I'm sitting, it's all straight garbage. The
41:17
whole entire thing is corrupt. Every single person that was
41:20
involved in all of this nonsense needs to be called
41:23
on the carpet and the days of handling the Clintons
41:26
with white gloves need to be over. But the problem
41:30
is there are no journalists out there that seemed to
41:33
have the courage to do so. So until then, we'll
41:36
be here picking up the slack and letting you all
41:38
know just how close Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein really were.

42:05
What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
42:08
Epstein Chronicles. As the Jeffrey Epstein related fallout continues to
42:13
rain down, people are starting to pay a price, and
42:17
one of those people is Katherine Rumler. The former Obama
42:21
White House counsel and currently the top lawyer at Goldman Sachs.
42:26
And honestly, it's a long time coming. This isn't some revelation.
42:32
If you follow the story, you know about Katherine Rumler,
42:34
and you know that she was offering Jeffrey Epstein all
42:37
kinds of advice and strategy to help fight the charges
42:41
that he was facing, and even though he was a
42:43
disgusting animal, she had no problem remaining his friend, especially
42:48
considering that friendship also came with a lot of perks,
42:52
such as a nine three hundred and fifty dollars handbag,
42:56
which is wild to me considering how rich this lady is. Anyway,
43:00
I mean to tell me, ms, big shot lawyer here
43:02
can't come up with three hundred and fifty dollars. So
43:05
it's not just the perk, right, not just the bag.
43:08
She actually really enjoyed Jeffrey Epstein. She enjoyed his company,
43:11
she enjoyed his friendship, and she certainly enjoyed his patronage.
43:16
Today's article was published by Reuters and the headline Jeffrey
43:21
Epstein gave her a nine three hundred and fifty dollars handbag,
43:24
but did Goldman Sacks, departing top lawyer violate any rules
43:29
This article was authored by Jenna green Well. Maybe not
43:33
any rules of the trade, but she certainly broke all
43:36
the rules of morality, and considering the shit storm, Goldman
43:39
Sachs is certainly in the right letting her go. Now,
43:44
of course she'll say she's stepping down, but you know,
43:46
the pressure came from the top shareholders, people on the board.
43:51
Nobody wants to deal with this shit, and that's because
43:53
all of you have kept the pressure on. So every
43:56
one of you who have been engaged, following along and
43:59
demanding justice, she'd give yourselves a pat on the back,
44:03
because you're the real engine behind all of this. Not
44:06
my big mouth, not anybody else talking about it. It's
44:10
all of you folks who are demanding justice and who
44:12
refuse to be told to move on, because I promise you,
44:16
if you weren't making the kind distinct that you're making,
44:19
they would have already moved on. We'd have no files, nothing.
44:23
So the whole entire thing, as far as where we
44:26
are is because of folks like you. Goldman Sachs. Top
44:31
lawyer Catherine Rummler faced fierce criticism on social media and
44:35
calls for her ouster following revelations that she accepted thousands
44:40
of dollars worth of gifts from Jeffrey Epstein when she
44:44
was previously a partner at a law firm. As a
44:47
matter of attorney ethics, her conduct didn't appear to violate
44:51
any professional rules, but I raised questions of judgment. Some
44:55
legal ethics experts told me, well, it really comes down
44:59
to the blowback. They might wrap it in some kind
45:03
of dressing. Oh yeah, it was about ethics, it was
45:06
about this that the other thing. But really it's about pushback.
45:10
They don't want to deal with you folks going bananas,
45:14
and they now know that this isn't going to just
45:15
blow over. So they had to do something, and that
45:19
something is removing Catherine Rumler. Late Thursday, Rumler announced her
45:25
resignation as Goldman's Chief Legal Officer and General Council, effective
45:30
June thirtieth. My responsibility is to put Goldman Sachs interest first,
45:35
Rumbler said in a statement. Goldman Chief Executive David Solomon,
45:39
who had initially stood by Rumler, said in a statement
45:42
that Rumler has been an extraordinary General Council and.
45:45
Speaker 2: Will be missed. I don't worry.
45:47
Speaker 1: I'm sure you can find another pedophile adjacent person to
45:50
come and take the reins. A spokesperson for Rumler, who
45:56
served as White House counsel during the Obama administration, earlier
46:00
this week that she was never Epstein's lawyer and that
46:03
she had done nothing wrong. Okay, so that's pretty important, right.
46:09
She's saying that she has never been Epstein's lawyer, so
46:12
that means that there is no lawyer client privilege, so
46:15
they can't hide behind that. Let's just keep that in
46:17
mind moving forward as more information comes out about Catherine Rumler.
46:23
Ethic rules for lawyers offer a few guardrails on propriety
46:27
of accepting gifts. Most day bars have adopted an American
46:31
Bar Association rule that says a lawyer may not solicit
46:35
a substantial gift from a client. But the rule doesn't
46:38
prevent a lawyer from accepting an unsolicited client gift, no
46:42
matter how valuable, said Fordham School of Law ethics professor
46:46
Bruce Green. Nor are lawyers barred from soliciting or accepting
46:51
substantial gifts from a former client or other non client. Look,
46:56
let's not get caught in the weeds here. That's not
46:58
what this is about. It's not about an three hundred
47:00
and fifty dollars bag. It's about her judgment being skewed.
47:05
It's about her judgment being terrible. It's about her associating, frolicking,
47:11
and enjoying the company of a convicted sex offender. I mean,
47:15
if you're Goldman Sachs, do you want this lady representing
47:18
your company? I know, I wouldn't talk about a nightmare.
47:23
If she can't even figure out that Epstein's a piece
47:25
of shit? You really want her in charge of negotiating
47:28
billion dollar deals and whatnot? Seems like a situation that
47:32
you try to avoid at all costs. According to Rumler
47:36
spokesperson Jennifer Connolly, Rummler knew Epstein through her prior work
47:40
as a criminal defense attorney, receive referrals from him, and
47:43
was friendly with them in a personal context. Epstein also
47:48
occasionally sought her informal legal advice, and she responded based
47:53
on what she knew, and often in ways designed to
47:55
placate him without having to actually get involved. Connolly wrote
47:59
in an email, Oh, still lying, still lying about the relationship.
48:04
Just admit it. Just admit that you enjoyed his company.
48:07
You knew what he was, and you didn't give a
48:09
fuck about the people he heard. I'm so tired of
48:12
the lying, the bullshitting, the mental gymnastics. Goldman has a
48:17
thirty nine page quote of conduct that includes instructions on
48:20
giving but not receiving gifts from clients. It also prohibits
48:25
employees from engaging in outside activities that create conflicts, reputational risks,
48:31
or any other negative impact to the firm or our clients.
48:35
I mean, right, there is cause for firing. You want
48:39
to talk about reputational risk, You want to talk about
48:42
a serious problem, folks, this is it. Imagine being a
48:47
board member, somebody that holds a large number of stock
48:51
over here. Imagine what you're thinking right now. And make
48:55
no mistake, the only reason she resigned is because they
48:59
were letting hers say faith. She was on her way
49:01
out no matter what. It's unclear to what extent the
49:04
rule would have obligated Rumler to disclose her prior association
49:08
with the notorious financier whose death in twenty nineteen was
49:12
front page news, or if such disclosure was made. Rumler
49:17
was hired by Goldman in April of twenty twenty. They
49:21
already knew, they didn't care. Just like the rest of
49:23
these people. It's always the same story. Right after the fact,
49:27
they'll tell you, oh, we care so much about Epstein's survivors,
49:30
we care so much about what Epstein was doing. But
49:33
the reality is, when they had a chance to not
49:36
hire them, to not associate with them, they sure had
49:39
no problem doing it. Goldman spokesperson Tony Fratto told Reuters
49:44
last week that Epstein often offered unsolicited favors and gifts
49:49
to many business contacts. Rumler accepted the gifts between twenty
49:53
fourteen and twenty nineteen, when she was a partner at
49:57
Latham and Watkins, according to email recently released by the
50:01
US Department of Justice. The law firm says Epstein was
50:05
not a client and declined further comment. Oh I bet
50:08
they did. I bet you they're running for cover. If
50:12
they have a bunker, they're hiding in it. Law firm
50:15
consultant Lisa Smith with Fairfax Associates said that while some
50:20
firms place limits on gifts from vendors, she hasn't seen
50:24
partnership agreements that address non clients. It would be difficult
50:28
to define that, but it's possible that exists. She said
50:31
via email. Latham's partnership agreement is not publicly available, and
50:36
the firm does not publish a code of ethics for
50:39
its lawyers on its website. Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida
50:43
State Court in two thousand and eight to felony solicitation
50:46
a prostitution and procuring a person under the age of
50:50
eighteen for prostitution. Just to be clear, if you're under eighteen,
50:56
you can't be a prostitute. Okay, you're a child who's
50:59
being minutulated, groomed, abused. I hope that was clearer for
51:03
everybody in the back. In July of twenty nineteen, he
51:06
was arrested on a sex trafficking charge and died a
51:09
month later in a Manhattan Jael cell in what New
51:12
York City's chief Medical Examiner called a suicide. Based on
51:17
my review of a sample of more than nine thousand
51:19
emails from twenty fourteen to twenty nineteen that mentioned Rumler's name,
51:26
the exchanges offer a few indications of why the gifts
51:30
were given or what, if anything, Epstein expected in return.
51:34
A person from Bloomingdale's in twenty seventeen was said to
51:38
be a birthday present and on Valentine's Day in twenty eighteen,
51:42
Epstein treated Rumler to a Glam Squad hair and makeup appointment.
51:46
At least twice he sent chicken soup when she was sick.
51:50
The email show, So how many of you out there
51:52
have sent chicken noodle soup to somebody who's sick that
51:56
you didn't really know. I'm sure everybody's out there running
52:00
into the store right now to get some of that
52:02
chicken noodle soup to send to a stranger. These people
52:06
really think you're stupid, That's what they really think. And
52:09
they're hoping beyond hope that the water carriers that are
52:13
out here in the media do the job for them.
52:17
Oh well, you see, this wasn't that big of a deal.
52:20
Everybody does it, yoho, full stop. No, everybody doesn't do it,
52:25
only you. Sick degenerates. I adore him. It's like having
52:31
another older brother, Rumner wrote in a twenty fifteen email
52:34
to Epstein's assistant. Also buried in the DOJ's document release,
52:39
a twenty sixteen email from Epstein forwarding a flattering column
52:44
I wrote for a legal publication about Rumner's work on
52:47
behalf of a Dubai Bank. The email appears to have
52:51
been sent to executives at Swiss Bank Edmund D. Rothschild, Well,
52:56
we know he was working for the Rothschilds and I
52:58
know that sounds like some crazy ass Alex Jones level shit,
53:01
but it's true. According to Connolly, the bank was a
53:04
client of both Epstein and Rumbler, and from the emails,
53:08
that appears that Epstein had facilitated her introduction to the client,
53:13
emailing Rumbler in twenty fourteen that Edmund D Rothschild had
53:18
a DOJ problem. Without elaborating, he asked if she was
53:21
prohibited from involvement. No, no prohibition, she responded. A spokesperson
53:27
for the bank did not immediately respond to a request
53:30
for comment. Well, well, well what was she doing? What
53:33
levers were being pulled? And did Rumbler play any part
53:37
in the Obama administration hiding this and covering this up?
53:41
Because make no mistake, the Obama administration had all this information,
53:45
They knew what was going on, they knew what Epstein
53:48
was and they hit it too. So Thomas Massey the
53:52
other day hit the knell on the head, but he
53:55
didn't go back far enough because this shit started during
53:59
Clinton's first, and it's been going on since. So all
54:03
the people out here that want to pass blame blame
54:05
everybody else. I got to tell you, it's everybody's fault.
54:10
Neither side has cared about this, and that's why we
54:12
find ourselves in the position that we're in. But when
54:16
you have somebody like Katherine Rumler, who is this high up,
54:20
who is somebody that's the White House counsel, and they're
54:24
being asked to step in and you know, help out
54:27
with the DOJ, that's a problem. And if Prince Andrew
54:31
and Mandelson are going to get hemmed up, don't you
54:34
think that people that were in a position like Rumbler's
54:37
here in America should also face serious scrutiny? I most
54:41
certainly do. Reuter's was unable to establish what issue Epstein
54:46
was referring to or whether Rumbler was ultimately retained to
54:50
work on it. Rumbler's bounty from Epstein included a Hermes
54:54
purse priced at nine thousand, three hundred and fifty dollars
54:57
in twenty sixteen, and Defendeecote n bag costing six thousand,
55:02
eight hundred in August of twenty eighteen. According to emails
55:06
released by the DJ. Other gifts include wine, flowers and
55:10
a massage at the Four Seasons in Washington, d C.
55:14
The email show boy, it must be nice, huh out
55:17
here on the predator's dime. Get in your legs rubbed.
55:20
Hope you enjoy yourself, because I can assure you that
55:24
the girls that were involved with massaging Jeffrey Epstein and
55:27
his gross ass friends, they didn't have very much fun.
55:32
Should Rumler have known better than to accept? With a
55:35
benefit of hindsight, it seems easy to say yes, and
55:38
to see Epstein's campaign of largesse as a deliberate move
55:42
to get a leading lawyer in his corner, even unofficially,
55:47
still run in cover for your friend here. Huh. Let's
55:50
just face it, Catherine Rumler piece of shit, okay, point
55:53
blank period, no cover.
55:55
Speaker 2: That's it. That's what she is.
55:57
Speaker 1: And this is why I'm calling for a special counsel,
56:00
someone that goes back and looks at everything. Obama, Bush, Clinton, everybody.
56:08
Everything has to be on the table. In twenty eighteen,
56:14
the Miami Herald and other news outlets reported in detail
56:18
on allegations of sexual abuse by teen girls against Epstein.
56:22
Speaker 2: Oh stop it.
56:23
Speaker 1: It was widely reported the first time around. Don't even
56:27
sit here for a minute and act like you had
56:29
no idea that shit is not going to work. Rumler
56:35
spokesperson said her views on Epstein were shaped by his
56:38
denial of any wrongdoing other than what he had played
56:41
guilty two years prior, and that if she had known
56:45
what she knows now, she never would have dealt with
56:47
them at all. By the nature of their practice, criminal defense,
56:51
lawyers are going to have relationships with unsavory people.
56:55
Speaker 2: What lawyers need to keep.
56:56
Speaker 1: In mind is whether such relationships could reflect poorly on
57:00
their firm or company, said Downey Law Group founder Michael Downey,
57:04
whose firm focuses on legal ethics and lawyer discipline defense.
57:09
Especially if gifts or favors are involved, the rules of
57:13
professional conduct, though necessarily come into play, he said, Instead,
57:18
it's ultimately a question of judgment. Well, folks, I don't
57:21
think there's any question that she use poor judgment. And
57:26
while she was having a great time getting her massage
57:29
and having her Hermes bag, that Epstein bill is now
57:33
due and Katherine Rumler is paying up with interest. All
