- 0:00America, we are back, baby. This is going to be our
- 0:03Thanksgiving message from America unfiltered.
- 0:06I want everyone this Thanksgiving not to focus on
- 0:08politics, but to focus on what's really important, being thankful
- 0:12for all the things that have been in our lives.
- 0:15Thanksgiving is one of the last holidays in America that still
- 0:18points us upward toward God the Father, toward Jesus Christ, and
- 0:22toward gratitude for every blessing He's poured over this
- 0:25nation. As Catholics, we understand that
- 0:27Thanksgiving isn't just a tradition, it is an act of
- 0:31worship. It's giving Christ the glory He
- 0:34deserves and recognition that nothing in our lives is
- 0:37accidental or self-made. Everything is a gift from God.
- 0:41This nation did not rise at a luck or convenience.
- 0:44America was built by men and women who feared God, trusted
- 0:48Christ, and believe that freedom was worth suffering for.
- 0:51They thank God in scarcity, thanked Him in abundance, and
- 0:55thanked Him even, and the future was uncertain.
- 0:57That faith built the foundation is why America became the
- 1:02greatest nation on earth. Even when our government feels
- 1:06corrupt, our culture feels broken, and our institutions
- 1:09feel captured, the truth hasn't changed.
- 1:12Christ is not abandoned. This country and God is still in
- 1:16control. Thanksgiving forces us to slow
- 1:19down. It forces us to acknowledge His
- 1:22blessings, especially the ones we overlook, the ones we take
- 1:26for granted, and the ones we come through and struggle
- 1:30through. And today, we should thank God
- 1:33for all of these. For Jesus Christ our Savior and
- 1:36King, whose sacrifice opens heaven and whose resurrection
- 1:40promises that death never wins. For God's mercy, which renews
- 1:45every morning, even when we fall short.
- 1:48For the Holy Spirit who strengthens us when we feel
- 1:51overwhelmed. For our families, the ones at
- 1:53our tables and the ones we remember with love.
- 1:57For military families, especially those spending
- 1:59Thanksgiving with an empty chair because someone they loved
- 2:02sacrificed their life for America.
- 2:06For the deployed men and women who can't be home today because
- 2:09they're protected our right to live free.
- 2:12We want to give our thanks. For police, firefighters,
- 2:15nurses, and 1st responders who carry burden so the rest of us
- 2:19can live safely. For the loved ones who have
- 2:21passed away, whose memory reminds us that Christ conquered
- 2:25death and that love continues beyond the grave.
- 2:28For our freedoms given by God, not by the politicians.
- 2:32And for every American who continues defending them.
- 2:35For our health, even imperfect health.
- 2:38Because every day is a gift. For opportunities, even the
- 2:42small ones, a job, a skill, a person who believed in us.
- 2:46For setbacks, because with Christ, suffering can become
- 2:50strength. And for this country, because
- 2:53God planted us here with purpose.
- 2:55And I especially want to speak to Gen.
- 2:58Z, Gen. Alpha, and Millennials because
- 3:00Thanksgiving hits different for us.
- 3:03We are the generation dealing with a broken job market, a
- 3:06collapsing economy, skyrocketing rent, loneliness, depression,
- 3:11anxiety, shredded communities, political gaslighting, no
- 3:15leadership willing to fight for us, a culture that mocks faith
- 3:19and masculinity, a society that tells us our future is already
- 3:23lost, and a dating pool that feels impossible.
- 3:26But it's not all true. Christ didn't put us here to
- 3:29fail. He put us here to rebuild.
- 3:32We are not weak, we are not forgotten, We are not here by
- 3:35accident. We are the generation that will
- 3:38have to carry America through the chaos and Christ will give
- 3:41us the strength to do it. Young Americans need to
- 3:44remember, choose God in every moment.
- 3:49Choose God always. Not the boomers, not the elites.
- 3:53Choose God, and if he chose you, he will equip you today.
- 3:57Even if life is heavy, even if the world feels dark, even if
- 4:01you feel like you're hanging on by a thread.
- 4:03Give thanks because Christ is walking with you.
- 4:06He sees you. He knows your struggles, and he
- 4:09will use them to make you stronger.
- 4:11And give thanks for America, because this country is still
- 4:14worth saving. Not through politicians or
- 4:16parties, but through families. The return of Jesus Christ.
- 4:20Fathers who lead with strength. Mothers who raise their children
- 4:23faith, and young men and women who refuse to give up on the
- 4:26nation that God gave them. So today we thank God the
- 4:30Father, Jesus Christ our Lord, and the Holy Spirit who gives
- 4:35life. May Christ bless all the people
- 4:39around America. May Christ bless everyone in the
- 4:41world. I want everybody to have a happy
- 4:44Thanksgiving. Remember to leave politics at
- 4:46the door this Thanksgiving. It's not the time to go red
- 4:49Pilling your parents. This is the time to just be
- 4:51thankful for the blessings bestowed upon your life.
- 4:54I hope everybody has a blessed Thanksgiving and I will see you
- 4:58guys tomorrow. Thank you.
