- 0:18Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 0:20Speaker 3: This is The Woody Show. Insensitivity training for a politically
- 0:29Speaker 3: correct world. Class is now in session.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Good morning, everybody.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Today is Thursday. It's pre-Friday. It's September the 17th, 2026.
- 0:53Speaker 4: We are The Woody Show. Man, it's your birthday month.
- 0:55Speaker 4: It's getting closer and closer.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Have you already started working on your list?
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yes, I have.
- 1:00Speaker 5: So much planning to do.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Is there anything on there for us?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Oh, of course. Every time. Every time.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Thank you. I don't think you're going to top last year, though.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Last year, you had a very successful birthday month.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 5: It went great.
- 1:12Speaker 4: We did that extreme weekend trip to Dubai.
- 1:15Speaker 3: We went to the Brady Bunch house.
- 1:17Speaker 5: I mean, come on.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Some pretty fun stuff.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Halfway through September, on the way to Menace's birthday month
- 1:24Speaker 4: of October. Thank you for being here.
- 1:26Speaker 3: We are The Woody Show.
- 1:27Speaker 5: I'm Woody.
- 1:27Speaker 4: That is Greg Gorey. There's Menace. Gina Grad. Seabass. Agent
- 1:32Speaker 4: Sebastian of the Carton Arcs is here. There is Jeff G. Hello.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Sammy is here.
- 1:36Speaker 7: Hey.
- 1:37Speaker 4: There is Morgan, our associate producer. Vaughn, our video producer.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Dumbass Tyler is here. We got Bort.
- 1:42Speaker 3: We got Menji.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Phones are open. 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text
- 1:47Speaker 4: over to 22987. Today, Greg, is Constitution Day.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Okay. I have the copy you gave me.
- 1:55Speaker 8: You have the art.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Did you really keep that?
- 1:57Speaker 5: Of course. All right.
- 1:57Speaker 4: We did Thrift Store Day.
- 1:59Speaker 5: It's not hanging, I will be honest, in my house.
- 2:01Speaker 5: It's hanging in my garage.
- 2:02Speaker 8: You already hung it.
- 2:03Speaker 4: But you hung it.
- 2:04Speaker 8: Of course.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Nice.
- 2:07Speaker 5: I appreciate that fine gift. Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I mean, I love America as much as the next guy.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I don't know if I'd hang the Constitution up somewhere.
- 2:14Speaker 5: It's in the garage. Yeah. Like, you know, just identify
- 2:16Speaker 5: as patriot. It's right by my car door when it opens.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Oh, cool.
- 2:20Speaker 5: So I can see it.
- 2:21Speaker 4: So I don't know if it's like Constitution, like a
- 2:23Speaker 4: Constitution of the United States or like, how's your Constitution?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Like your digestive stomach?
- 2:28Speaker 3: Are you proving?
- 2:29Speaker 6: What's the first couple sentences of the Constitution? Aren't you
- 2:32Speaker 6: gas menace?
- 2:34Speaker 5: Guess the first three words.
- 2:35Speaker 3: The first three. It's four score.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Yep.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah. And seven years ago. Dear America. Yes.
- 2:43Speaker 8: Yes.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Lord be with you. I don't know. Honestly, I don't know.
- 2:48Speaker 4: We the people.
- 2:49Speaker 5: We the people.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 2:51Speaker 5: True.
- 2:51Speaker 8: We the people of what?
- 2:53Speaker 3: Of America?
- 2:53Speaker 8: Yeah, close enough.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Of the United States?
- 2:56Speaker 4: San Mateo's International Country Music Day.
- 2:59Speaker 8: Okay, yes.
- 3:00Speaker 4: It is National Pet Bird Day. I think people that
- 3:02Speaker 4: have birds as pets are weird.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Used to.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah, like there's something, you know how the birds have
- 3:07Speaker 4: a feather, right?
- 3:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 4: So you can always tell people who are in IT,
- 3:11Speaker 4: you know, you can always tell.
- 3:13Speaker 5: That is true.
- 3:13Speaker 4: You can usually, like if you took like 10 people.
- 3:17Speaker 4: and you had a chance to speak to them for
- 3:19Speaker 4: maybe five minutes each without asking them anything directly about
- 3:24Speaker 4: what job it is or whatever, I think you'd be
- 3:26Speaker 4: able to pretty well, like this person's the school teacher.
- 3:29Speaker 8: I think you're right.
- 3:29Speaker 4: There's a similar personality. Similar personality to IT. Similar personality to, oh,
- 3:36Speaker 4: this person owns the bird. Like, hey, there's a person
- 3:39Speaker 4: here that has a bird as a pet. I think
- 3:41Speaker 4: you'd be able to sniff that person out. Today is
- 3:44Speaker 4: National Professional House Cleaners Day. So shout out to my
- 3:48Speaker 4: Aunt Chrissy.
- 3:48Speaker 5: She's a professional.
- 3:49Speaker 3: She is. She is.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Today is National Monte Cristo Day.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Love those.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Old timey.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Today is also National Apple Dumpling Day.
- 4:00Speaker 9: Sure.
- 4:00Speaker 8: Talk about old timey.
- 4:01Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Oh, the gay.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Oh, what am I thinking of?
- 4:04Speaker 8: Apple Dumpling Day.
- 4:05Speaker 3: No, I'm thinking of.
- 4:06Speaker 8: A popover.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Yeah, what are those like the toaster strudels?
- 4:09Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 4:10Speaker 4: With the apple in them, right? Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Is that strudel?
- 4:12Speaker 4: What is that thing called?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Yeah, strudel.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Yeah. I've never had an apple dumpling.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Greg likes, yeah, what's the apple dumpling?
- 4:20Speaker 5: It's more like a, it's kind of like if Beef
- 4:22Speaker 5: Wellington was an apple. It's just an apple inside of
- 4:24Speaker 5: like a pastry. Oh, I have, okay, I've seen that.
- 4:27Speaker 4: It looks good. Yeah, I've seen that. Greg likes the
- 4:30Speaker 4: apple fritter.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 3: The fritter.
- 4:33Speaker 5: The cry, it's so good.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 5: All right, Greg, F.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Mary Kill, apple fritters, Depeche Mode, penises.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 4:46Speaker 5: It's the first thing.
- 4:47Speaker 4: First three things I thought of.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 4:49Speaker 5: He loves all of them.
- 4:49Speaker 4: It wasn't really thought out.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Okay. I would have to F penises.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Oh.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Natch.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Marry.
- 4:58Speaker 5: I can't believe I'm going to do this. Marry Depeche
- 5:01Speaker 5: Mode and I have to kill Apple Fritters.
- 5:02Speaker 8: Greg, you're such a traitor.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Because you know what?
- 5:04Speaker 5: You have maple bars. You have old fashioned. You have glazed.
- 5:08Speaker 5: I could do. I could live without.
- 5:10Speaker 4: And the reason that I asked him that question was because,
- 5:13Speaker 4: I mean, I've seen Greg where he's in those modes
- 5:15Speaker 4: of basically just like he's swallowing cotton balls. He's like
- 5:18Speaker 4: trying to stick to like some kind of crazy starve
- 5:21Speaker 4: himself type of diet where he's eating like half a
- 5:23Speaker 4: potato and some cottage cheese. And that's it for like
- 5:27Speaker 4: the whole day. But if there's an apple fritter around,
- 5:30Speaker 4: he caves.
- 5:31Speaker 8: He can't help it.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Eventually.
- 5:33Speaker 4: He can't help himself.
- 5:33Speaker 5: I could sit in front of one for four hours
- 5:35Speaker 5: and then... In that fourth hour.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Greg, we have shots now. You don't have to do anything.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, it's true.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Handle that.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Just zip out a dog. Time for the birthdays. It's
- 5:46Speaker 4: your birthday.
- 5:47Speaker 3: We're going to party like it's your birthday.
- 5:50Speaker 4: We're going to sip a toddy like it's your birthday.
- 5:53Speaker 3: And you know we don't give a fuck because.
- 5:54Speaker 8: It's your birthday.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Happy birthday.
- 5:56Speaker 4: A lot of people from the sports world. Patrick Mahomes
- 5:59Speaker 4: is 31 years old today. Phil Jackson, the legendary basketball coach,
- 6:04Speaker 4: is 81. He's getting a statue, right? Outside of Staples, yeah.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Well, it's not Staples.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Crypto.com. I'll forever call it that, man.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Forever Staples.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Forever Staples.
- 6:14Speaker 9: All right.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Staples, no knock on you, but you guys got quite
- 6:18Speaker 3: a few statues.
- 6:19Speaker 4: I was going to say, how many statues do you need?
- 6:21Speaker 4: I've been to a lot of venues.
- 6:22Speaker 3: This place is covered in statues now.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Yep. Alexander Ovechkin, the NHL star from the Washington Capitals,
- 6:29Speaker 4: is 41. Jimmy Johnson, the NASCAR driver, is 51 today.
- 6:33Speaker 4: So you got Bryan Singer, the director, you know, Superman,
- 6:37Speaker 4: Bohemian Rhapsody, things like that. The usual suspects. 61 years old.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Paul Feig.
- 6:42Speaker 11: Love him.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Another director, Bridesmaids.
- 6:44Speaker 5: He's a well-dressed man.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Vicky.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Baz Luhrmann is 64.
- 6:48Speaker 8: La Rouge.
- 6:49Speaker 4: If you watch Orange to the New Black, Tasty in
- 6:51Speaker 4: Orange to the New Black. Daniel Brooks is 37. Elvira,
- 6:55Speaker 4: Mistress of the Dark.
- 6:57Speaker 7: Oh.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Is 75. Doug E. Fresh. There's a throwback Thursday for you. Rapper,
- 7:03Speaker 4: Human Beatbox. He is 60 years old today. And then
- 7:06Speaker 4: a comedian, Bobby Lee.
- 7:08Speaker 9: Yes.
- 7:09Speaker 4: 55 years old. Future, what do you show guests? Right.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Today's porno birthday is Chanel Cameron.
- 7:16Speaker 12: Ooh.
- 7:17Speaker 4: And today's birthday girl, she has her nose.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Pierced, Greg.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Ew.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Yuck, right? Gross. Who wants to watch that?
- 7:22Speaker 4: You don't see it much because it's face down in
- 7:23Speaker 4: a pillow. 487 fine films, including the awesome anal movie.
- 7:30Speaker 8: How is it?
- 7:31Speaker 4: She was in Chanel Carmen Gets Her Thick Bush Banged
- 7:34Speaker 4: on a Hike.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Yuck, a hike.
- 7:37Speaker 4: What's worse, hiking or a nose ring?
- 7:38Speaker 5: Or a thick bush.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Or a bush, yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 4: She's very talented. Chanel Cameron Sucks Her Own Toe.
- 7:44Speaker 13: Whoa.
- 7:45Speaker 4: She was in Taking It in the Booty Like a Champ,
- 7:47Speaker 4: Volume 1. She was in Suck the Sickness Out of Me.
- 7:51Speaker 5: It works.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Also, Semen Fiesta Strikes Back.
- 7:54Speaker 8: It's a fiesta.
- 7:55Speaker 4: And then who can forget her unforgettable role in Pink
- 7:58Speaker 4: Eggs and Slam?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Nice. That's creative.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Pink eggs and slime. That's Chanel Cameron, who is 25
- 8:06Speaker 4: years old today. And that's your porno birthday. And your
- 8:09Speaker 4: celebrity birthday is here on this Thursday on The Woody Show.
- 8:13Speaker 5: This is The Woody Show.
- 8:15Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:18Speaker 4: We'll check in with Gina Grad. She's got the trending
- 8:21Speaker 4: news headlines.
- 8:22Speaker 14: Well, the Federal Reserve has raised interest rates by a
- 8:25Speaker 14: quarter point. That puts the main interest rate between 3.75
- 8:29Speaker 14: and 4 percent as it tries to get inflation under control.
- 8:32Speaker 14: So what does that mean for us regular people? Well, basically,
- 8:35Speaker 14: higher rates can mean more expensive credit cards and car loans.
- 8:39Speaker 14: And the big question is whether this is a one-off
- 8:41Speaker 14: move or this is the beginning of a long stretch.
- 8:44Speaker 4: This is one of those things, Greg, like as much
- 8:46Speaker 4: as I've read about, like I just can't, I can't
- 8:49Speaker 4: grasp it.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah. Why?
- 8:51Speaker 4: Like how it ends up affecting, you know, like the
- 8:54Speaker 4: average person.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Like auto loans and stuff like that.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Because they want to calm down the spending.
- 8:59Speaker 4: No, I understand that part I'm saying, but like, how
- 9:02Speaker 4: does it, How does it affect, like, in other words,
- 9:04Speaker 4: how does this affect me?
- 9:06Speaker 8: Yeah, how do we go from the headline to.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Because they say it's not necessarily, you know, like a mortgage.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Right.
- 9:14Speaker 3: You know, or whatever.
- 9:15Speaker 4: It's all these different other factors.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 4: And then it makes other things more expensive.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Well, I would just assume it means if you're getting
- 9:21Speaker 5: a new mortgage.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Because that controls spending.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Yeah, it controls spending, which people buy less things, and then... Eventually,
- 9:30Speaker 6: everybody else has to lower prices because they want to
- 9:32Speaker 6: continue selling things. So that's the long-term effect. So it
- 9:36Speaker 6: will lower the prices.
- 9:38Speaker 4: The prices on what go up to control spending?
- 9:41Speaker 3: Yeah, like.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Like pretty much your home loans and things like that.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 9:46Speaker 4: Because I saw something else where it's like, no, it's
- 9:48Speaker 4: not necessarily a direct credit. Like in other words, they set, oh, it's.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Up by 0.25.
- 9:51Speaker 4: It's not like your mortgage interest rate just went up
- 9:54Speaker 4: by 0.25.
- 9:55Speaker 6: No, but it's for the new people that are trying
- 9:57Speaker 6: to buy things.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Yeah, it's for new auto loans, new mortgages.
- 10:00Speaker 8: Right, but it's only going to make people hold then.
- 10:03Speaker 10: People aren't going to sell their house because they'd have
- 10:04Speaker 10: to buy a new one with a higher interest rate.
- 10:07Speaker 4: We're not cut out for this.
- 10:08Speaker 3: It's a big story all the time.
- 10:09Speaker 15: I have a.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Somewhat understanding, but not a real total grasp on it.
- 10:17Speaker 8: I think what it means is short-term, bad, long-term, hopefully good.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:21Speaker 5: But does that also affect interest rates for savings accounts
- 10:24Speaker 5: or money market accounts? Would those interest rates go up?
- 10:27Speaker 4: I think bonds, the rate for bonds, that goes up. Yeah,
- 10:32Speaker 4: I got to hit up, ChatGPD is going to be
- 10:35Speaker 4: the wrong answer.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Hit up your financial guy.
- 10:38Speaker 8: There are three R's in 17.
- 10:39Speaker 16: But it's like Gina said, it's like short term. It
- 10:44Speaker 16: sucks for long term.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Hopefully, everything gets lower. I start tuning out when the
- 10:48Speaker 4: story comes up, you know?
- 10:49Speaker 5: I know.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Because it comes up a lot and I go, I
- 10:51Speaker 4: don't fully understand this. And so you become one of
- 10:53Speaker 4: those ignorant, you know, idiots.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Although for the first time in a long time, I
- 10:58Speaker 5: looked at my car payment statement. I usually just see
- 11:01Speaker 5: the amount. tack on a little bit more for the principal.
- 11:04Speaker 5: And I looked at my interest rate. I thought I
- 11:06Speaker 5: was really low. It's like 7.25. It's insanity. My previous
- 11:10Speaker 5: auto loan was like I don't know, 0.9?
- 11:15Speaker 4: Well, people did get spoiled. I know that as a
- 11:17Speaker 4: fact with mortgage rates. People got so spoiled with the 3% stuff.
- 11:21Speaker 8: Dude, by the time I got in the game.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I was.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Talking to my stepfather. He's like, yeah, first time I
- 11:27Speaker 4: bought a house, the interest rates were like 16%. Oh, yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Back in the day.
- 11:31Speaker 4: This was the 80s.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Totally.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Things like that.
- 11:33Speaker 3: And then, oh, yeah, it was a really great deal
- 11:35Speaker 3: if you got anything under 10.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Totally. That's how people viewed the 3% mortgage rate. Yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:42Speaker 4: And then that's how people in the 80s and stuff,
- 11:44Speaker 4: when it hit 10, they're like, whoa.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I'm rich. Let's go get a house.
- 11:47Speaker 9: I know.
- 11:48Speaker 8: I have friends that are locked in at 2%, and
- 11:49Speaker 8: I just think they're the luckiest people in the world.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you got a 2% one, Jeff? Yeah, 2.5.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Oh, God.
- 11:53Speaker 3: More trade?
- 11:56Speaker 5: That's so 10 years ago.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Yeah, higher rates, higher borrowing costs. So you go to
- 12:00Speaker 4: borrow money, it's more expensive. Companies can start to slow
- 12:03Speaker 4: down hiring. Oil up, trending up equals rates keep going up.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Oh, that's cool.
- 12:09Speaker 5: OK.
- 12:10Speaker 4: 714 texting over.
- 12:10Speaker 8: Well, they definitely sound smarter than us.
- 12:13Speaker 4: That's not.
- 12:13Speaker 3: That's easy. That's a low bar.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:16Speaker 14: Well, the Macklemore Ed Sheeran tour drama is still going on,
- 12:20Speaker 14: but something good might actually come out of this. So
- 12:22Speaker 14: Macklemore says he's donating the entire one million dollars in
- 12:25Speaker 14: net earnings he made from Sheeran's loop tour to organizations
- 12:29Speaker 14: to help Palestinians. Macklemore then publicly challenged Patriots and Gillette
- 12:33Speaker 14: Stadium owner Robert Kraft to match his million dollar donation.
- 12:37Speaker 14: But Kraft says no. Ed Sheeran had already called him
- 12:40Speaker 14: and asked him to match Sheeran's own two million dollar
- 12:43Speaker 14: humanitarian donation. So Kraft is now giving two million dollars
- 12:47Speaker 14: as well. So that puts the three of them at
- 12:49Speaker 14: five million dollars in combined pledges. And Sheeran reportedly plans
- 12:53Speaker 14: to ask other venues to donate, too. Meanwhile, the Ed
- 12:56Speaker 14: Sheeran tour rolls on. World keeps turning, but now people
- 12:59Speaker 14: get helped. And some of the biggest names in AI
- 13:02Speaker 14: are publicly talking about whether everybody needs to pump the
- 13:05Speaker 14: brakes before this stuff gets completely out of control. So
- 13:08Speaker 14: this is actually really interesting because CEOs for Anthropic, OpenAI,
- 13:13Speaker 14: and Elon Musk have expressed support for advanced AI safety.
- 13:18Speaker 14: But kind of surprisingly, not everybody agrees. Meta and Nvidia
- 13:21Speaker 14: have pushed back on the idea of government-regulated slowdown. But
- 13:24Speaker 14: I'm kind of surprised that Elon's like, yeah, maybe some
- 13:27Speaker 14: safeguards would be a good idea.
- 13:29Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 6: I was actually listening to some tech experts yesterday and
- 13:34Speaker 6: they're saying this is all bull crap where some of
- 13:37Speaker 6: these people are saying like, oh, this is the end
- 13:39Speaker 6: of the earth and all this kind of stuff. They're
- 13:41Speaker 6: saying it's like a power play to make them to
- 13:44Speaker 6: be more important. So these people are like, hey, I'm
- 13:48Speaker 6: going to save you. I'm the savior.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I had the same kind of thought. I'm like, man,
- 13:54Speaker 4: I know we've been talking about AI a lot, but
- 13:55Speaker 4: this whole doomsday thing with, oh, we have 10 years
- 13:59Speaker 4: left of humanity before.
- 14:01Speaker 3: AI kills us all. Why is that the thing?
- 14:03Speaker 4: All of a sudden I realized there's like one guy,
- 14:05Speaker 4: but now it's dominating the conversation about like to, we're
- 14:10Speaker 4: at like, you know, threat level red, you know, like,
- 14:14Speaker 4: like what else you always go like, all right, what's
- 14:15Speaker 4: the reason behind this? Who stands to benefit?
- 14:17Speaker 3: But that's the thing.
- 14:19Speaker 14: If Elon and Anthropic and OpenAI, they obviously stand to
- 14:23Speaker 14: benefit from no safeguards. And they're saying like, eh, we
- 14:26Speaker 14: could look into slowing things down.
- 14:27Speaker 6: But they're the, the people that are like, even at
- 14:31Speaker 6: a higher level, those guys that you just mentioned are,
- 14:33Speaker 6: are saying like these smaller guys who are in charge
- 14:38Speaker 6: of these important companies.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Greg, you're so right.
- 14:43Speaker 6: They're just saying, okay, they're just saying that that's a
- 14:45Speaker 6: power play by these smaller guys that are in charge
- 14:48Speaker 6: that make themselves very important.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Greg, every day that goes by, I'm more and more
- 14:53Speaker 4: on your side of join fog.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Right, join fog. Join hermit.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Join hermit, just become a hermit.
- 14:59Speaker 5: Getting a little bit less bummed out that I'm getting older.
- 15:02Speaker 4: I've always been kind of, not like mad, but just
- 15:05Speaker 4: disappointed in people who put their head in the sand.
- 15:07Speaker 5: No.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Like, have you ever been going through like on a
- 15:11Speaker 4: really narrow street where there's like cars parked on the
- 15:13Speaker 4: side and you're like, I think I can make it. Always.
- 15:16Speaker 3: And you're like, I think.
- 15:17Speaker 5: I got it.
- 15:18Speaker 8: You make your body thinner even though the cars.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Are around you.
- 15:20Speaker 4: You almost, you don't really close your eyes but you're like,
- 15:23Speaker 4: all right, we're going to go, we're going to go.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Oh, we made it, yes.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I'm kind of i'm kind of there with the planet
- 15:28Speaker 4: feeling that i'm like oh just let's just close our
- 15:30Speaker 4: eyes and if we open up one eye and it's
- 15:32Speaker 4: still there cool right and if it doesn't what are
- 15:35Speaker 4: you gonna do about.
- 15:36Speaker 5: It we're dead way more open to talking about the
- 15:38Speaker 5: idea of all of it if that one question i
- 15:41Speaker 5: have would be answered let's just call it ai in
- 15:44Speaker 5: general robots whatever What do they want? People say, oh,
- 15:48Speaker 5: they're going to kill us. Why?
- 15:49Speaker 4: What do they want?
- 15:50Speaker 3: They don't want our food.
- 15:51Speaker 8: I've given you the answer.
- 15:52Speaker 3: What do they want?
- 15:53Speaker 6: Efficiency.
- 15:54Speaker 14: If it's not efficient to keep humans alive, then you
- 15:56Speaker 14: dump what's not efficient.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Robots and fish. Is it China?
- 16:00Speaker 4: Is it China or Japan?
- 16:01Speaker 3: Ooh. Who just launched for underwater surveillance a robot fish.
- 16:06Speaker 4: This thing looks like a.
- 16:08Speaker 3: You already know what it is?
- 16:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 3: You can't play. Okay. It looks like a legit fish.
- 16:12Speaker 4: The way it moves in the water, if you just
- 16:13Speaker 4: saw it, you're like, wow, it's just a fish.
- 16:14Speaker 6: I got to see a robot fish.
- 16:15Speaker 4: But it's for underwater surveillance. Is it China or Japan?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Before I look it up, I'll say China.
- 16:20Speaker 8: I will also say China. Now I want to look
- 16:22Speaker 8: it up.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I'm going to say Japan.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Japan?
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah. The answer is China. Nice. Robot fish.
- 16:28Speaker 5: It looks so real.
- 16:30Speaker 4: It does. It's crazy.
- 16:31Speaker 8: Oh, that's a legitimate fish.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Right.
- 16:34Speaker 3: It's crazy, right?
- 16:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Look at the way the thing moves around that little pool.
- 16:38Speaker 13: Wow.
- 16:38Speaker 4: It's for underwater surveillance. Of what?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Other fish? I don't know. For spying.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Yeah. Submarines.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Cool, yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I like it. Hey, dude.
- 16:47Speaker 6: I mean, if you don't want to talk about this,
- 16:48Speaker 6: I'm down to talk food news and raccoon news all day.
- 16:51Speaker 3: It's way more fun. It's not about fun. Everybody has
- 16:55Speaker 3: to have.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I like to have conversations because there's always something.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Like the stupid inflation thing, right? Like you had, uh,
- 17:03Speaker 4: you had some information that I didn't necessarily have, but
- 17:06Speaker 4: you throw it out there and you have a little conversation.
- 17:07Speaker 4: You get to be, you know, interested or curious. I
- 17:10Speaker 4: am curious about it. I am interested. I want, I
- 17:12Speaker 4: want to know stuff, but like, I don't want where
- 17:15Speaker 4: you have each side who's trying to hype up their
- 17:18Speaker 4: side just for whatever.
- 17:21Speaker 3: For rooting purposes.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I have no rooting interest necessarily other than like, you know,
- 17:26Speaker 4: you want humanity to survive. You want to have a nice, happy,
- 17:29Speaker 4: whatever life. AI is here to stay. But like, there's
- 17:34Speaker 4: always an ulterior motive. There's always a reason that all
- 17:37Speaker 4: of a sudden people are.
- 17:38Speaker 14: Well, the more we talk about it, the more I
- 17:42Speaker 14: want to know how a windmill works or how to
- 17:44Speaker 14: churn butter.
- 17:45Speaker 8: It makes me want to go completely the opposite way.
- 17:48Speaker 8: How do I make my own pedicure?
- 17:49Speaker 4: You get so in the weeds with it, whether it's
- 17:51Speaker 4: partisan politics or... you know, people's agendas or whatever. You go,
- 17:55Speaker 4: all right, you know what, whatever.
- 17:56Speaker 8: I'm done.
- 17:56Speaker 4: I'm out. And then you start, Greg and I, join Fog.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Or the way you framed it the other day, Woody,
- 18:01Speaker 5: you said, if they can program it to do this,
- 18:03Speaker 5: just program it to do that.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Code it to not do it.
- 18:06Speaker 8: Don't kill us.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Or turn it off.
- 18:09Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Plug it. Have you tried that? Yeah, have you tried
- 18:12Speaker 3: a hard factory reset?
- 18:14Speaker 8: On Earth.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Control, alt, delete. Hold the power button down for three seconds.
- 18:19Speaker 8: Until you see the apple appear.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Power cycle.
- 18:22Speaker 3: But it already hit in your vacuum, Greg.
- 18:24Speaker 14: Well, Spider-Man Brand New Day has officially passed. Star Wars
- 18:28Speaker 14: The Force Awakens to become the highest-grossing movie at the
- 18:31Speaker 14: domestic box office ever.
- 18:34Speaker 8: The movie has made $ 936. 7 million in just the U.S.
- 18:39Speaker 8: and Canada, which broke the decade-old record.
- 18:41Speaker 14: And even crazier, it only took Spider-Man... 47 days to
- 18:45Speaker 14: get there. Now, worldwide, Brand New Day has made basically
- 18:49Speaker 14: $ 2. 5 billion, putting it at the all-time third behind Avatar.
- 18:54Speaker 8: And Avengers Endgame.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Damn. Theaters are dead, guys.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:58Speaker 8: And malls.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Right? I'm telling you.
- 19:01Speaker 8: Well, and where do you go to your movie theater?
- 19:03Speaker 8: In a mall.
- 19:04Speaker 14: And finally, the people over at Merriam-Webster and Dictionary.com have
- 19:08Speaker 14: announced that they're adding over 1,500 new words and definitions
- 19:12Speaker 14: to their dictionary. Okay, some of the new words include shapewear. Now,
- 19:17Speaker 14: raise your hand or let me know if you need
- 19:18Speaker 14: a definition of any of these.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Shapewear.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Got it.
- 19:21Speaker 8: Looks maxing.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Got it.
- 19:22Speaker 8: Parasocial.
- 19:25Speaker 5: I've heard it.
- 19:25Speaker 8: That's like a one-way relationship. Like, I think I have
- 19:28Speaker 8: a relationship with Margot Robbie, who doesn't know who I am.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Oh, interesting.
- 19:32Speaker 8: Compute.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Compute?
- 19:34Speaker 8: Like, doesn't compute. I don't understand.
- 19:36Speaker 3: That's new.
- 19:37Speaker 8: This one I actually will have to look up.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Did they change the definition? Does compute now mean something different?
- 19:42Speaker 8: Not that I'm aware of.
- 19:43Speaker 5: All right.
- 19:44Speaker 8: Check that out. And this one I don't understand. Vibe coding.
- 19:46Speaker 9: Vibe coding.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Yeah, so vibe coding is– how can I dumb it down?
- 19:52Speaker 8: Like this is very something coded.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so like– I'll just speak.
- 19:56Speaker 6: You know people that actually– So the actual do like
- 20:00Speaker 6: actual coding where they put like numbers and letters in
- 20:03Speaker 6: and it looks.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Like the matrix.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Well, vibe coding is basically like you write something in
- 20:08Speaker 6: your Word document and tells you.
- 20:11Speaker 3: It says you.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Describe what you want in natural language and then let
- 20:15Speaker 4: AI generate or modify the code, run it and then
- 20:18Speaker 4: keep it, you know.
- 20:19Speaker 8: So say they're smarter.
- 20:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 6: Yeah, so you basically like if you're writing something into
- 20:23Speaker 6: your Word document or like your email, it will just
- 20:28Speaker 6: build it for you instead of knowing how to do
- 20:30Speaker 6: all those numbers.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Kind of like I built a website for you.
- 20:33Speaker 8: Yeah, say build my website.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Even though you didn't ask for it.
- 20:35Speaker 8: Okay, vibe coding.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Superfood.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Telling AI what you want. AI writes the code for you.
- 20:40Speaker 8: Okay, fine.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Thanks, AI.
- 20:42Speaker 8: Thanks. Cuffing season. which I hadn't heard about until like
- 20:45Speaker 8: a few years ago.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Cuffing?
- 20:47Speaker 8: Cuffing season, like when you're supposed to propose to chicks. Well, no,
- 20:50Speaker 8: it's like being in a relationship. Like summer, you're supposed
- 20:52Speaker 8: to be single, right? You're out, you're partying summer.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I've never heard the term cuffing.
- 20:55Speaker 10: And then fall starts to hit into wintertime and you're.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Like hibernating up.
- 20:59Speaker 14: You're supposed to start getting married and start looking for
- 21:01Speaker 14: a partner.
- 21:02Speaker 3: It does sound sexual.
- 21:03Speaker 10: It's getting into a relationship with somebody For like the
- 21:06Speaker 10: holiday season and the times when you, yeah.
- 21:08Speaker 8: Yeah, Valentine's Day.
- 21:09Speaker 6: Yeah, like Sammy said, it usually happens around the holidays.
- 21:12Speaker 8: Meme coin, which is like literally a coin for cryptocurrency.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Got that.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Ish coin.
- 21:17Speaker 8: Yeah, and so whatever. Here's the dictionary.com ones. These are
- 21:20Speaker 8: new phrases.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Goaded.
- 21:22Speaker 8: Glow up. Lost in the sauce.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Stupid.
- 21:26Speaker 8: Trauma bond, love bond, over prompt.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Oh, so trauma bond, like two people have gone through
- 21:31Speaker 4: a similar thing.
- 21:32Speaker 8: Yeah, now they're like bonded by God.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Oh, we have a trauma bond.
- 21:34Speaker 8: We're trauma to God.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Stupid.
- 21:36Speaker 8: Over prompt. They also added some abbreviations, and I'm going
- 21:38Speaker 8: to ask you what these mean. I-Y-K-Y-K.
- 21:42Speaker 4: If you know, you know.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 21:43Speaker 8: I tried to give you some inflection.
- 21:44Speaker 5: E-L-I-5. Explain it like I'm five.
- 21:49Speaker 8: Good job, Brett.
- 21:51Speaker 4: That must be like an AI thing. People saying, probably.
- 21:54Speaker 4: It's also a famous line. Explain it like I'm five.
- 21:57Speaker 8: It's a famous line from The Office. Now explain it
- 21:59Speaker 8: like I'm five.
- 22:00Speaker 14: And STBX, which you should be careful where you write this.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Shut the.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Soon to be your ex?
- 22:08Speaker 3: Greg, you're killing it!
- 22:11Speaker 4: Greg, you're being so old.
- 22:12Speaker 12: You're so good at this.
- 22:14Speaker 5: I've got to keep up on these letter trends.
- 22:17Speaker 8: And that's what's going on, Woody.
- 22:18Speaker 3: You have this giant wad.
- 22:20Speaker 4: It's too big.
- 22:21Speaker 3: And I'm not laughing. The Woody Show.
- 22:24Speaker 4: God. So much talk about the Ed Sheeran thing. Oh, man.
- 22:33Speaker 4: I guess if you don't toe the line and just
- 22:36Speaker 4: just repeat what everybody else says, you know, quote, you're
- 22:39Speaker 4: the problem. And man, this one person is just like
- 22:43Speaker 4: going on and on and after me because I was saying,
- 22:46Speaker 4: you know, we had the original story and I was
- 22:49Speaker 4: playing a clip of Macklemore on stage. And I was like, oh,
- 22:53Speaker 4: let's guess what he's going to say, right?
- 22:55Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so happy to be here and be playing
- 22:57Speaker 3: this stadium.
- 22:58Speaker 8: Great to see you all.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, of all these songs, I'm really excited to share
- 23:01Speaker 3: with you.
- 23:02Speaker 5: And I'm going to net a million dollars.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Right, yeah, or whatever, yeah. And then, nope.
- 23:06Speaker 4: And I was like, you know, I'm just, personally, I
- 23:08Speaker 4: think a lot of people, no matter how you feel
- 23:11Speaker 4: about it, you have your feeling.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Everybody's got your opinion. Right. One way or the other.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Or maybe you don't have enough of an opinion. And
- 23:17Speaker 4: I don't have enough of an opinion because I'm not
- 23:19Speaker 4: educated enough about... different things, as I'm willing to admit.
- 23:24Speaker 3: But here's what I know.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I don't care what Macklemore says when I'm just there
- 23:29Speaker 4: for a concert. You know, when I'm there for, you know,
- 23:33Speaker 4: to see songs or whatever. Like, that's not the time,
- 23:34Speaker 4: not the place, you know.
- 23:36Speaker 8: That's not what you're there for.
- 23:37Speaker 3: So you're okay. No, one thing doesn't have to do
- 23:39Speaker 3: with the other.
- 23:39Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 4: You know, like, oh, so you're okay with, you know, genocide.
- 23:42Speaker 3: You're okay with that.
- 23:43Speaker 5: That's what that means.
- 23:44Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no.
- 23:46Speaker 4: And people can't, you can't separate the things. And I
- 23:49Speaker 4: think that's what people have been saying when it comes
- 23:52Speaker 4: to sports or concerts, award shows, all these things. Everybody
- 23:58Speaker 4: is free to have their opinion and their take on
- 24:02Speaker 4: whatever it is. And if you want to do something,
- 24:05Speaker 4: for whatever the cause is, the charity, the whatever, whatever,
- 24:09Speaker 4: whatever it is, you can go ahead and do it.
- 24:11Speaker 4: But man, when it, cause you know why? Cause then
- 24:14Speaker 4: I sit here for this. And then as soon as
- 24:15Speaker 4: I turn around, you know, someone's preaching over here about
- 24:18Speaker 4: something different. It's like, we're just constantly.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Oh, so you don't care about my thing. I didn't
- 24:23Speaker 8: even talk about my thing.
- 24:24Speaker 5: Yeah, no.
- 24:24Speaker 4: So I was like, you know, and I'll, I'll admit, man,
- 24:26Speaker 4: I really don't know enough about the whole, I know
- 24:29Speaker 4: it's very popular, you know, to, uh, the, uh, The
- 24:33Speaker 4: Jew hating is worse than I've ever seen it. And
- 24:36Speaker 4: I grew up in New Jersey as the only kid
- 24:38Speaker 4: in my group that was not Jewish. I felt so
- 24:41Speaker 4: left out. I was such a minority.
- 24:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I know what it feels like.
- 24:47Speaker 4: I know it. But man, I went to a lot
- 24:48Speaker 4: of really cool bar and bar mitzvahs.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah. I did see.
- 24:52Speaker 4: And again, I don't know a ton about it.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Right.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I do know there are two sides to every story.
- 24:57Speaker 4: So I don't necessarily know. But Bill Maher. A clip
- 25:03Speaker 4: popped up from from Bill Maher on all this stuff.
- 25:07Speaker 4: And I thought it was pretty interesting. I just have
- 25:09Speaker 4: I have a couple of clips to share with you here.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Gaza, a little strip of land that was not part
- 25:14Speaker 2: of the original Israel, but which they won in a
- 25:17Speaker 2: war launched against them, but then gave back, gave back
- 25:21Speaker 2: as a peace gesture. Did they tell you that part
- 25:22Speaker 2: on TikTok, kids? And the people who run Gaza, Hamas,
- 25:26Speaker 2: who you celebrate as a liberation movement, but are really
- 25:29Speaker 2: a terrorist mafia gang, just like the one that terrorizes Haiti,
- 25:33Speaker 2: only ever used it to stage attacks on Israel.
- 25:35Speaker 4: And that's the danger with the social media. Whatever Bill
- 25:39Speaker 4: Maher's saying, I'd have to look into it.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I'm not a historian.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Feel free to be educated.
- 25:43Speaker 3: But you don't hear a.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Lot from the other side of stuff. It's just you
- 25:47Speaker 4: hear like, oh, man, I better say whatever it is.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Well, one side's fashionable and one side isn't.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:52Speaker 4: And I'm not taking up for any particular thing. I
- 25:55Speaker 4: just thought it was interesting because I had not heard
- 25:57Speaker 4: a lot about the other side of things. And it
- 25:59Speaker 4: goes on about Macklemore.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I think Macklemore spoke for all clueless celebrities when he said,
- 26:03Speaker 2: I know enough to know this is a genocide.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Actually, you don't know shit. It's not it's not a genocide.
- 26:10Speaker 2: It's a counterattack in a war, a war that's been
- 26:13Speaker 2: waged on Israel since 1948, based on the ridiculous premise
- 26:17Speaker 2: that Jews don't belong in the one place on Earth.
- 26:19Speaker 2: They are indigenous and indisputably their ancestral homeland. Hey, geniuses,
- 26:23Speaker 2: they're the Indians in this scenario.
- 26:27Speaker 4: See, I've heard a bunch of stuff about it. And
- 26:29Speaker 4: that's this is the part like where the back and
- 26:31Speaker 4: forth can you two people are beefing. You're like, wait, wait,
- 26:34Speaker 4: hold on.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Wait, what?
- 26:35Speaker 4: And you hear the both sides.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Slow down.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Maybe like somewhere in the middle. But yeah, I thought
- 26:41Speaker 4: a lot of the points were pretty interesting. If true, interesting.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Because you don't hear a lot about it because you're
- 26:47Speaker 4: not allowed to even ask questions.
- 26:50Speaker 3: That's true.
- 26:51Speaker 4: You know, when people are asked about something, they just
- 26:56Speaker 4: go with whatever the narrative seems to be or whatever
- 27:00Speaker 4: the majority seems to go with because nobody wants to
- 27:04Speaker 4: put themselves out there.
- 27:05Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Or admit they don't really know. That's why people start
- 27:07Speaker 4: throwing around big, trendy words a lot.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Sure.
- 27:11Speaker 5: Buzzwords.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Yeah, the buzzwords. That's why I see those people, they
- 27:14Speaker 4: go out, like the college campuses, they go out in
- 27:16Speaker 4: the streets and go.
- 27:16Speaker 3: So what exactly is blah, blah, blah? And they go, well, it's,
- 27:19Speaker 3: you know.
- 27:20Speaker 8: What is gluten?
- 27:21Speaker 3: Yeah, what is that?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Ariana Grande reposted that starving people to death is a
- 27:25Speaker 2: red line. Make no mistake, any famine that happened in
- 27:28Speaker 2: Gaza is because Hamas stole the food, just like the
- 27:31Speaker 2: Haitian gangs do. Israel ran 94,000 trucks carrying over 1.8
- 27:36Speaker 2: million tons of aid into Gaza and enabled over 36,000
- 27:40Speaker 2: patients to leave Gaza for treatment abroad, which you TikTok
- 27:44Speaker 2: historians might be interested to learn are not things countries
- 27:47Speaker 2: usually do for their enemies during a war, and certainly
- 27:51Speaker 2: not what you would do if you were trying for
- 27:54Speaker 2: a genocide.
- 27:57Speaker 4: And then you use words and people start using words incorrectly.
- 28:00Speaker 4: And I, as I was watching this, I go, huh?
- 28:02Speaker 3: Okay.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Cause I, I didn't even know really like, uh, the
- 28:06Speaker 4: definition of some of these things that you hear about
- 28:08Speaker 4: all the time, but everybody seems to be the, uh,
- 28:11Speaker 4: Everybody seems to be the expert on whatever it is. Oh, well,
- 28:14Speaker 4: you know, according to the whatever of amendment or the
- 28:18Speaker 4: whatever rule.
- 28:19Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 28:19Speaker 5: Wait, what?
- 28:20Speaker 3: We were all supposed to know that?
- 28:22Speaker 8: Everybody was an expert on Ukraine and Russia. Everybody's expert
- 28:24Speaker 8: on COVID.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Yeah. Dude, I don't I don't get half the questions,
- 28:27Speaker 4: at least half the questions right.
- 28:28Speaker 3: In the DUIQ. You know what I'm saying, Menace? I
- 28:32Speaker 3: feel you, dog. You feel me? See, I like what
- 28:36Speaker 3: you say in the sense of like, hey, I don't
- 28:38Speaker 3: know all this stuff. I don't.
- 28:39Speaker 15: And you're comfortable saying that. I think it's important that
- 28:42Speaker 15: people don't jump into crap that they don't know about
- 28:44Speaker 15: just to pick a side.
- 28:45Speaker 3: And I am interested.
- 28:46Speaker 6: Honestly, none of this stuff comes up in my day-to-day
- 28:49Speaker 6: to even look into it.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Really? Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 6: I know that it's heavily covered in the media, but
- 28:54Speaker 6: my day-to-day amongst friends and family, no one's talking about this.
- 28:59Speaker 6: So I just don't look into it.
- 29:01Speaker 4: The same way I don't see all your housewife stuff
- 29:04Speaker 4: or whatever. But I think one does have more bearing
- 29:08Speaker 4: on society and on the planet.
- 29:09Speaker 13: Of course.
- 29:10Speaker 4: And I am interested.
- 29:11Speaker 3: I get it.
- 29:12Speaker 4: People go, okay, well, if you don't know about something, learn.
- 29:14Speaker 5: It's not an excuse.
- 29:15Speaker 4: And you're absolutely right. The part that I find challenging,
- 29:18Speaker 4: and if anybody can direct me to a source or something,
- 29:22Speaker 4: the problem is, when you ask or you go somewhere,
- 29:26Speaker 4: where do you go?
- 29:27Speaker 3: Where do you go to get just real? That's the end.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Trusted source. That should be a part of it.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Trusted source. Yeah, man.
- 29:34Speaker 4: When we talk about you know AI and all these
- 29:38Speaker 4: other things like where what's real what's not real like
- 29:44Speaker 4: that's that's the thing man well.
- 29:45Speaker 8: That's what's so scary does it even exist anymore.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I am interested to know but I don't want to
- 29:49Speaker 4: know Based on your bias and your lean on something.
- 29:54Speaker 15: Or be forced to. And I think that's the trick, right? Like,
- 29:56Speaker 15: I give artists and people props for standing up for
- 29:59Speaker 15: what they believe in.
- 30:00Speaker 3: I don't think every.
- 30:01Speaker 15: situation is correct. Like concerts may not be the proper venue.
- 30:04Speaker 15: Maybe it's your own social media. Maybe it's another, you know,
- 30:07Speaker 15: a venue that you feel appropriate to address it, but
- 30:11Speaker 15: forcing other people to have the same opinion as you
- 30:14Speaker 15: are putting pressure on people to have the same opinion
- 30:17Speaker 15: as you, when they're not fully educated on it, that's
- 30:19Speaker 15: where the BS comes in for me.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Stan, stand your ground. Good for you, dude.
- 30:23Speaker 6: On the Macklemore coverage, they tend to leave out all
- 30:26Speaker 6: the clips of him saying that I don't support anti-Semitism
- 30:29Speaker 6: at all.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the part.
- 30:33Speaker 6: That video doesn't pop up anywhere as part of that speech.
- 30:36Speaker 14: But did you see the picture of him dressed.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Up like a propaganda poster?
- 30:44Speaker 4: You know what I'm talking about?
- 30:45Speaker 1: No.
- 30:45Speaker 8: Oh, so that didn't pop up on your feed apparently.
- 30:47Speaker 3: No, no, no. No, that was a video. Yeah, that's
- 30:51Speaker 3: him dressed up years ago. There's another word.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Propaganda.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Right?
- 30:55Speaker 3: Because, okay, propaganda.
- 30:56Speaker 8: No, I'm talking about a World War II propaganda poster. No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 30:59Speaker 4: I'm saying that reminded me because people say, oh, that's,
- 31:02Speaker 4: I'll give you an example on the text. What's up
- 31:04Speaker 4: with the Israeli propaganda? Now, okay. Now, I'm throwing stuff
- 31:08Speaker 4: out there and I'm asking questions.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Is it propaganda? This is what I'm saying.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Is this propaganda or is what the other stuff you're hearing,
- 31:14Speaker 4: is that propaganda?
- 31:15Speaker 8: Yeah, find out for yourself.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Or is it both?
- 31:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Where is that?
- 31:19Speaker 4: How do you find out what's... And I think that's
- 31:21Speaker 4: where everybody's struggling, whether it's a video you see on
- 31:24Speaker 4: social media or something that you hear about.
- 31:28Speaker 3: What's real?
- 31:29Speaker 4: What's not?
- 31:30Speaker 15: And what's trusted and what's not. If you're willing to
- 31:32Speaker 15: risk a paycheck, good for you. God bless you, man.
- 31:34Speaker 15: That's the way I look at it. But- Don't make
- 31:38Speaker 15: me feel like I have to pick a side on
- 31:40Speaker 15: something that I'm not fully educated on, right?
- 31:41Speaker 5: To Woody's original point, especially the venue, you're going to
- 31:44Speaker 5: pay hundreds of dollars to escape the world, go to
- 31:47Speaker 5: a concert, even if you 100% agree with whoever's given
- 31:50Speaker 5: the message, this is what I'm watching?
- 31:53Speaker 15: Yeah, I understand that. You're there for entertainment. Not every
- 31:56Speaker 15: venue is made for this.
- 31:58Speaker 4: One more thing.
- 31:59Speaker 3: What do words mean?
- 32:00Speaker 2: Gaza equals genocide is a lie. Words do have actual meanings.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Sighed. means to kill.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Fratricide, kill your brother. Homicide, kill your fellow human. Suicide,
- 32:13Speaker 2: kill yourself. Genocide, kill or try to kill an entire people.
- 32:17Speaker 2: You can't just change the definition of genocide to mean
- 32:20Speaker 2: counterattack in a war where people, including.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Civilians, die. That's every war.
- 32:25Speaker 2: There have been about 73,000 deaths in Gaza, about 3%
- 32:29Speaker 2: of the population.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Tragic. Not genocide, not close.
- 32:33Speaker 2: There were 3 million Jews in Poland before World War II.
- 32:36Speaker 3: After? 45,000.
- 32:37Speaker 2: That's genocide.
- 32:40Speaker 3: If you're one of the many.
- 32:41Speaker 2: People these days asking, this explosion of anti-Semitism around the
- 32:45Speaker 2: world that we see, where is it coming from?
- 32:47Speaker 1: This.
- 32:48Speaker 2: This is where it's coming from. Because if you really
- 32:51Speaker 2: think someone is committing genocide, of course you have full
- 32:53Speaker 2: permission to hate them. And history shows, for whatever reason,
- 32:57Speaker 2: when it comes to hating the Jews, people don't need
- 32:59Speaker 2: a lot of permission.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Now, if you want to take up with Bill Maher,
- 33:02Speaker 4: take it up with Bill Maher. I'm presenting it more
- 33:05Speaker 4: in the way of like, okay, so you don't hear
- 33:08Speaker 4: a lot about that stuff. You hear a lot from
- 33:11Speaker 4: the other, like the Macklemore's and all the, you know,
- 33:14Speaker 4: and that's just because that's the big story. That's been,
- 33:16Speaker 4: that's one of the big stories this week, right? And
- 33:18Speaker 4: so like when you're trying to sit there and digest
- 33:21Speaker 4: it and you go, dude, I, And that's where people
- 33:24Speaker 4: give up. And maybe that's what, quote, they want, right?
- 33:28Speaker 4: They want everybody to give up so they're not paying attention.
- 33:30Speaker 4: And all they're paying attention to is the guy who's
- 33:32Speaker 4: trying to get food poisoning at the Chinese buffets.
- 33:35Speaker 8: I love that guy.
- 33:37Speaker 4: I love that guy.
- 33:38Speaker 5: I asked Jeff to get him on.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Yes, we're working on it right now.
- 33:41Speaker 8: He's done like 83 reviews.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Oh, he's in the 90s.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Oh, is he?
- 33:43Speaker 4: I just watched number 90 something last night. This guy,
- 33:47Speaker 4: he's like the mullet review guy. He goes around to
- 33:49Speaker 4: all the Chinese buffets.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Now, that does pop up in my feed with my
- 33:53Speaker 3: friends and family. Until he's going to every.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Every low-rated Chinese buffet until he gets food poisoning.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Is he 1,000 pounds?
- 34:01Speaker 11: No, he's not.
- 34:02Speaker 8: And all he really looks for is the pizza situation
- 34:04Speaker 8: and the crab rangoon situation.
- 34:05Speaker 3: We're goonin'. We're goonin', boys. Goonin', boys.
- 34:08Speaker 5: Oh, dude.
- 34:08Speaker 16: Since we're talking about food, you love Shake Shack. Have
- 34:12Speaker 16: you tried the Reese's Shake Shack shake yet?
- 34:14Speaker 3: The Reese's Shake Shack Shake.
- 34:16Speaker 4: I have not.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It's so damn good.
- 34:17Speaker 5: It sounds orgasmic.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I got to be careful if I have them.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Not as bad as Jeff, but if I have a
- 34:22Speaker 4: milkshake like that, I'd better be near a toilet because
- 34:25Speaker 4: there's a 65% chance it's time for diarrhea.
- 34:29Speaker 5: It's worth the risk. It's like a.
- 34:31Speaker 6: Reese's peanut butter cup in your mouth.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 3: In liquid form.
- 34:35Speaker 5: You know what else is? A peanut butter cup.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Yeah. True.
- 34:40Speaker 17: 877-44.
- 34:40Speaker 4: If that's what it tasted like, Greg, we might be
- 34:42Speaker 4: closer aligned.
- 34:48Speaker 5: It tastes like a Reese's peanut butter cup in your mouth.
- 34:51Speaker 4: If that was the case, I'd be going a completely
- 34:54Speaker 4: different way. I'm going to put both these stories under
- 35:01Speaker 4: the headline of... Bitches Be Crazy.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Uh-oh. Yes.
- 35:05Speaker 8: What do we do now?
- 35:05Speaker 5: Bitch, be trippin'. What have you done?
- 35:07Speaker 4: Well, not you. Just a couple women in the news.
- 35:09Speaker 8: Okay.
- 35:10Speaker 4: Starting with police in Maryland who got a call about
- 35:12Speaker 4: some drama at a store. This chick was flipping out.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I guess she was in line to check out. It
- 35:16Speaker 4: was taking too long. Yeah.
- 35:18Speaker 8: So she was like, ugh.
- 35:19Speaker 4: So another cashier came and opened another line, you know?
- 35:21Speaker 9: Right.
- 35:22Speaker 4: And she jumped over there. And I guess that line
- 35:23Speaker 4: wasn't moving fast enough either. So she got back in
- 35:25Speaker 4: the original line.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 35:27Speaker 4: And once she got up to the cashier, she punched
- 35:29Speaker 4: the cashier.
- 35:30Speaker 5: In the face.
- 35:30Speaker 8: Reasonable.
- 35:31Speaker 3: And they're like, you got to go.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Get out.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Which she did.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Then she came back a few minutes later, waving around
- 35:35Speaker 4: a gun. Cops, of course, at this point, after she
- 35:38Speaker 4: punched the person, they're already on the way.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:40Speaker 4: But she bounced before they could get there. Now, here's
- 35:43Speaker 4: the thing. She helped him out. because she left her
- 35:46Speaker 4: wallet and her phone at the counter.
- 35:48Speaker 9: Oh.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Dude, how are you going to do that?
- 35:49Speaker 4: Yeah, so they knew who they were looking for, a
- 35:51Speaker 4: 38-year-old chick. Her name's Tiffany Booze.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Nice.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Now, no word if she was drunk, high, or whatever,
- 35:57Speaker 3: just annoyed. I don't know.
- 35:58Speaker 4: But the cops, they didn't have to leave the store because-
- 36:01Speaker 4: She also realized that she had forgotten her crap. And
- 36:03Speaker 4: so she came back to get it. Cops were already there.
- 36:06Speaker 4: So as soon as she walked in, she was arrested,
- 36:08Speaker 4: taken to jail.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Bitches be crazy.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 36:13Speaker 4: How about this one? There was some interesting mid-flight entertainment
- 36:16Speaker 4: on an American Airlines flight to Miami. About two hours
- 36:20Speaker 4: behind schedule already. So people were on edge as it was.
- 36:24Speaker 3: And, you know.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Maybe you just want to take the edge off. This
- 36:27Speaker 4: woman got totally naked.
- 36:28Speaker 8: Nice.
- 36:29Speaker 4: The flight crew told her, hey, yo, put your clothes
- 36:31Speaker 4: back on. But she refused, and then she started fingering
- 36:35Speaker 4: herself in front of everybody.
- 36:36Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 36:37Speaker 3: She was just finger banging herself.
- 36:39Speaker 5: There's got to be a muse, you know? Right there.
- 36:42Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 36:42Speaker 4: She stood up in front of the plane, just, again,
- 36:44Speaker 4: butt naked, dude.
- 36:45Speaker 3: I would watch the hell out of that.
- 36:47Speaker 5: I'd like a muse. I know.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Now, that's some good... That's the flight you want to
- 36:51Speaker 4: be on.
- 36:52Speaker 6: Is that like a new trendy thing? There's like some
- 36:54Speaker 6: TV show called Adults. That's like a scene in the
- 36:57Speaker 6: TV show.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Really? This girl. Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 6: Because this guy's like joing on a transit. bus and
- 37:05Speaker 6: then they're just like well if you're gonna do that
- 37:07Speaker 6: i'm gonna do that yeah and then she starts doing
- 37:09Speaker 6: it it's so might as well just join in.
- 37:11Speaker 5: Everybody do it that's kind of hot i just had
- 37:13Speaker 5: that high thought like what if that was socially acceptable
- 37:16Speaker 5: to just do stuff like that out in the world
- 37:19Speaker 5: you're sitting at your desk at work.
- 37:20Speaker 4: I'm so stressed out planes two hours late yeah you
- 37:23Speaker 4: know the joe right here i'm not going out right
- 37:25Speaker 4: here hey if you're.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Gonna do it i'm gonna do it yeah.
- 37:28Speaker 4: So the plane landed, cops, they pulled her off the plane,
- 37:30Speaker 4: took her to jail.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Oh, why?
- 37:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 37:33Speaker 5: That's the flight I would love to be on.
- 37:36Speaker 4: They submitted her fingers in the evidence. Yeah, well, there
- 37:42Speaker 4: you go.
- 37:42Speaker 5: It's like, Linda, just because we're running late, you're getting naked? Yeah.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Bitches be crazy.
- 37:47Speaker 4: All right, more of what he shows next. You know,
- 37:50Speaker 4: you're going to be in the doghouse. What, am I
- 37:51Speaker 4: going to get the silent treatment? Like, that's a reward. Like,
- 37:54Speaker 4: if you want to, like, punish somebody like me, you
- 37:56Speaker 4: would just talk nonstop.
- 37:58Speaker 8: Talk at them.
- 37:59Speaker 3: The Woody Show. We'll be right back.
- 38:01Speaker 4: I'll take my shirt off.
- 38:02Speaker 3: You take your shirt off.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Let's skin the skin.
- 38:05Speaker 1: This is The Woody Show.
- 38:07Speaker 4: All right, welcome back and... We go over through this
- 38:12Speaker 4: direction of the studio.
- 38:13Speaker 7: Oh.
- 38:14Speaker 4: From right to left on your studio, dialed as the
- 38:18Speaker 4: one and only Seabass, and he's got this week in audio.
- 38:20Speaker 8: We got the biggest sports story of the week. It
- 38:22Speaker 8: is not NFL results, et cetera, et cetera.
- 38:24Speaker 13: It is.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Women craps herself during race. I got a picture.
- 38:32Speaker 8: Yeah, the photos and the videos are fantastic. It should
- 38:35Speaker 8: be the biggest sports story.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Man, have you not seen the lady crapping herself? Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 3: I'm into running. I don't know. It's not running.
- 38:41Speaker 4: The event, it was in Beijing. It's a company called Hyrox.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you know what?
- 38:46Speaker 8: We could tell the story. Or because she's Australian, we could.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Have fun with accents.
- 38:51Speaker 8: We could have AussieNews.com.au tell us the story.
- 38:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 38:55Speaker 12: Melbourne's Joanna Wettrick absolutely crushed the High Rocks Pro event
- 38:58Speaker 12: in Beijing in just over an hour. But her win
- 39:01Speaker 12: has sparked debate as footage and images show Joanna powering
- 39:05Speaker 12: through shared stations like the rower and sled push with
- 39:08Speaker 12: faeces running down her legs.
- 39:10Speaker 5: Look at the picture.
- 39:13Speaker 3: This chick crapped herself. And by running.
- 39:15Speaker 5: And kept going.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Chunks.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Not just wet, chunks. Oh no.
- 39:20Speaker 8: But doesn't that make you respect her more? I would
- 39:23Speaker 8: have quit and cried.
- 39:24Speaker 3: And that's the end of it.
- 39:25Speaker 4: High Rocks is a fitness, racing, sports event kind of
- 39:28Speaker 4: company and brand.
- 39:29Speaker 5: It is.
- 39:29Speaker 8: It's the new, it's taken over where CrossFit was.
- 39:32Speaker 3: And so a standard, I had to look it up.
- 39:35Speaker 4: So I learned.
- 39:36Speaker 3: High Rocks race.
- 39:38Speaker 4: It's eight rounds of a one kilometer run. So a
- 39:42Speaker 4: little over half a mile. Followed by eight times, followed
- 39:45Speaker 4: by one workout station. So eight mile or eight kilometers
- 39:48Speaker 4: of running. So about five miles of running and then
- 39:51Speaker 4: eight workouts. Like you heard like sled, push, pull, rowing, burpees, lunges,
- 39:56Speaker 4: wall balls, that fun stuff.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Why do people crap themselves when doing this?
- 40:03Speaker 8: I think it's a combination of things. It's the stress.
- 40:06Speaker 8: You see this in marathons sometimes, too.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I've seen those photos.
- 40:09Speaker 8: I think it's a lot of the liquids they're drinking,
- 40:11Speaker 8: like a lot of liquid protein throughout the thing. I had,
- 40:15Speaker 8: for instance, I was not in a high rocks race,
- 40:17Speaker 8: but I had a big old thing of the powdered
- 40:20Speaker 8: hotel breakfast eggs recently.
- 40:21Speaker 3: And like that, boom, that ran right through. More from.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Should have gone with the one touch pancake maker.
- 40:28Speaker 3: More solid. Yeah, exactly.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Some of the hotel eggs.
- 40:31Speaker 3: More from Australian News. All right.
- 40:35Speaker 12: She even posted a now deleted hospital selfie on an
- 40:38Speaker 12: IV drip, captioning it, a win is a win. Organisers
- 40:41Speaker 12: confirmed they closed affected lanes, replaced carpet and scheduled deep
- 40:45Speaker 12: cleaning procedures overnight. But critics argue the competition should have
- 40:49Speaker 12: paused immediately.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Why?
- 40:51Speaker 3: Because they have shared spaces. So, like, if she's doing...
- 40:55Speaker 3: On the rowing machine?
- 40:56Speaker 4: Guys, if you're supposed to wipe down the equipment at
- 40:58Speaker 4: the gym.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I swear.
- 40:59Speaker 8: Just as a courtesy. She's leaving tracks.
- 41:02Speaker 3: That's just etiquette.
- 41:03Speaker 5: Right, right.
- 41:04Speaker 8: Okay, that I get.
- 41:05Speaker 10: Maybe that was a strategy so no one could catch her.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 41:08Speaker 8: But, yeah, High Rocks, I will say this for ladies
- 41:11Speaker 8: out there, it's much more women-friendly than CrossFit ever was because...
- 41:15Speaker 8: You don't have to flip tires. And it's not as
- 41:17Speaker 8: much heavyweights. You're not doing as much deadlifts or any deadlifts, actually.
- 41:20Speaker 8: It's more things like burpees, wall balls. So you're still
- 41:23Speaker 8: getting fit.
- 41:23Speaker 4: They also let you to continue after you poo yourself.
- 41:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:26Speaker 3: So it's good.
- 41:27Speaker 4: High rocks, people.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Look it up. It's fun.
- 41:29Speaker 8: Speaking of butts and Australia, how's their butt pie? There
- 41:34Speaker 8: is controversy, controversy about a new toy, which is this
- 41:37Speaker 8: big pair of ass cheeks that farts and giggles and dances.
- 41:40Speaker 5: Sounds like something we'd get for the studio.
- 41:41Speaker 8: Sounds like something that currently is on the way, thanks
- 41:43Speaker 8: to Amazon.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Yes!
- 41:45Speaker 3: But, but, Greg, we think it's all fun and games.
- 41:48Speaker 5: Of course it is.
- 41:49Speaker 3: No, there's a dark aside. So says 10 News Australia.
- 41:54Speaker 12: This is a children's toy called Chester Cheeks Dancing Toy.
- 41:58Speaker 8: The packaging promotes the toy as something you can.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Stretch, burp, Yes.
- 42:05Speaker 8: Squeeze. And basically twerk.
- 42:10Speaker 7: Invitation to touch.
- 42:13Speaker 12: Bum cheeks, which I don't think is appropriate to instill
- 42:17Speaker 12: a message like that into young children.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Because that's what you're going to do.
- 42:21Speaker 8: Because that's what they're going to do.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Hey, Mom. That's a Greg Gorey classic. That's the longest
- 42:33Speaker 4: fart ever in the history of Guess Who's Gas. Thank you.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Record holder.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Shall we? Oh, yeah. Live version. Oh, God.
- 42:41Speaker 4: Is this going to be one of your protein ones?
- 42:43Speaker 3: I guess.
- 42:45Speaker 8: That sounded wet.
- 42:48Speaker 13: Seabass.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Anybody else?
- 42:50Speaker 9: Sammy.
- 42:50Speaker 3: It's a matter of Sammy. It's just the queen of farts. Yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 3: but that was wet.
- 42:55Speaker 8: Yeah, it was disgusting.
- 42:56Speaker 5: Does this push it?
- 42:59Speaker 4: Can you smell it?
- 42:59Speaker 8: I don't smell it, no.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Actually, no.
- 43:00Speaker 3: It's actually pretty clean.
- 43:01Speaker 10: I was preparing myself for the smell, and it didn't
- 43:03Speaker 10: come through.
- 43:04Speaker 5: Morning farts are kind of odor-free.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Yeah, because we also have a sea bass fart in
- 43:11Speaker 4: the best of folder.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Oh, hall of fame.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Yeah, from March of 2021.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 43:24Speaker 5: That's good.
- 43:25Speaker 8: Squeezed it all out of you.
- 43:26Speaker 3: It's getting good to the last drop.
- 43:27Speaker 5: Very good.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so the farting butt toy might teach kids that
- 43:30Speaker 3: it's okay to play with butts. Yeah, totally will.
- 43:32Speaker 8: Other people's butt toys?
- 43:33Speaker 5: Serious concern.
- 43:35Speaker 8: Speaking of sports, jokes are not fun anymore, and you
- 43:39Speaker 8: may have heard that Arch Manning, the upcoming man, he's
- 43:42Speaker 8: the current quarterback at Texas. Well, There's sort of a
- 43:45Speaker 8: semi-viral clip where after Texas wins, big, big win, come
- 43:50Speaker 8: from behind, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The coach is
- 43:52Speaker 8: being interviewed by Holly Rowe, who's been working the sidelines
- 43:55Speaker 8: on games for 30-something years. And he's wanting to go
- 43:58Speaker 8: celebrate with his team, so he kind of blows her off.
- 44:01Speaker 4: They made a bunch of– Kind of.
- 44:02Speaker 6: Well, there was kind of a pre-story that she was
- 44:05Speaker 6: talking smack that they wouldn't win the game.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Oh, that's all possible.
- 44:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:10Speaker 8: But anyways, it was very, it was very dismissive. And
- 44:12Speaker 8: what made it worse is instead of being like, instead
- 44:14Speaker 8: of being like, okay.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Coach, thanks. She was like, Oh yeah. She looks so dejected.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Don't you know that I'm the sidelines girl who's been
- 44:19Speaker 8: doing this for 30 years.
- 44:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:21Speaker 8: Well, Arch Manning was being taught. He's later talking about that.
- 44:23Speaker 8: There've been some AI remixes where he's like slapping her
- 44:26Speaker 8: and doing all kinds of like silly things.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Like get out of my face, bitch.
- 44:29Speaker 8: So Arch Manning discusses that at his press conference.
- 44:32Speaker 5: I saw AI at a Sarks interview. Y'all seen that one?
- 44:37Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 44:39Speaker 5: Of him slapping Holly Roe.
- 44:42Speaker 8: Now, there's a shocked face in this room from one Gina.
- 44:46Speaker 8: I just wasn't expecting it to go that way.
- 44:50Speaker 3: The crowd saw it. They thought it was funny. Everybody
- 44:52Speaker 3: loved it.
- 44:53Speaker 4: See, and it's AI, so no one really got hit.
- 44:55Speaker 4: There's no victim.
- 44:56Speaker 3: No victim. It was a silly thing. Well, he's now
- 44:59Speaker 3: had to apologize. Because, quite frankly.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Did he make the video?
- 45:03Speaker 3: No, but he laughed about it, and he told people
- 45:05Speaker 3: about it, and they laughed about it.
- 45:06Speaker 4: So?
- 45:07Speaker 3: So it's not funny when it's a woman.
- 45:10Speaker 8: I want to see this movie.
- 45:10Speaker 3: If it was a guy getting hit. Well, that's the thing.
- 45:14Speaker 8: And this came up with the recent Jackass movie is
- 45:15Speaker 8: that people, men and women, don't like seeing women get hurt,
- 45:19Speaker 8: even in comedy scenarios. Guys, kick them in the crotch
- 45:22Speaker 8: all day, every day. Fall off a building all day,
- 45:25Speaker 8: every day. We're usually doing that to each other.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Sure. But even like when we're not doing it to
- 45:28Speaker 3: each other.
- 45:29Speaker 8: But like if a girl hits another girl, I think
- 45:30Speaker 8: everybody celebrates.
- 45:34Speaker 3: In a sexy way, yeah.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Like the housewives type stuff. No, what's the Zeus Network stuff?
- 45:41Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 45:41Speaker 8: World star.
- 45:43Speaker 4: Baddies.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Baddies, Atlanta. What up? Shout out to that.
- 45:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:47Speaker 3: All right, so don't make those jokes. Arch Manning, you've learned.
- 45:49Speaker 4: This week in audio.
- 45:51Speaker 8: Oh, this is something that I know Woody loves, these videos.
- 45:54Speaker 8: Of contractors taking back their work when they are supposedly
- 45:59Speaker 8: not paid.
- 46:01Speaker 4: I watched one the other day where this person had
- 46:04Speaker 4: a new concrete driveway poured. Did you see this one?
- 46:07Speaker 5: No, I've seen these types of ones. It's always a driveway.
- 46:11Speaker 4: It was nice. It looked like a really nice job
- 46:13Speaker 4: or whatever. And the homeowner was not paying them because
- 46:16Speaker 4: that's when they wanted to dispute the price.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Oh, no. And they're like, oh, okay.
- 46:21Speaker 4: So this went on for like over a week. And
- 46:23Speaker 4: it's like, no, I'm not paying that price. So the
- 46:25Speaker 4: guy came back and he jackhammered the whole thing up.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Good.
- 46:28Speaker 5: It was.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Great.
- 46:29Speaker 4: And then he just left it there. Jackhammered and all crumbled.
- 46:32Speaker 8: So he left the resources, just not the work. So
- 46:34Speaker 8: this is Cesar Diaz, who's a fence installer, and he
- 46:38Speaker 8: claims the owner didn't pay.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Now, here's the problem. The owner was there when they
- 46:42Speaker 3: came with a crew of 10 guys. And this is
- 46:44Speaker 3: the owner's reaction.
- 46:45Speaker 17: We're about to take away a fence because someone didn't
- 46:49Speaker 17: want to pay.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Get the f * * * out of here!
- 46:52Speaker 13: You ain't f * * * ing doing it!
- 46:53Speaker 3: Get out of here!
- 46:54Speaker 5: You're waiting!
- 46:55Speaker 3: Court's coming, bitch! Hey, Chris, call the police!
- 46:59Speaker 5: Call them!
- 46:59Speaker 3: Get the f * * * out of here! Get
- 47:01Speaker 3: off my property! Get off my property!
- 47:04Speaker 8: So, yeah, they're in his backyard. Now, he's been very
- 47:07Speaker 8: forceful and said to leave. So, what do they do?
- 47:10Speaker 8: Do they say, oh, sorry, sir. Our bad. Or do
- 47:13Speaker 8: they bust out their sledgehammers and chainsaws and do this?
- 47:16Speaker 17: Yes!
- 47:20Speaker 4: That's them. I love it.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Dude.
- 47:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:26Speaker 3: And they mixed in some ACDC for you.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Hell yeah, man.
- 47:28Speaker 8: I know Woody loves it. People, these have become very
- 47:30Speaker 8: popular videos these days. Here's a lawyer telling you why
- 47:33Speaker 8: they just broke the law about 15 different ways.
- 47:35Speaker 3: They broke the law?
- 47:36Speaker 5: Well, they're supposed to just put a lien on your house.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Exactly. Here's Stuart.
- 47:38Speaker 7: There are three reasons why this is illegal.
- 47:40Speaker 3: When material is illegal. Shut up. Yeah, this guy's not fun.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Why do I want to hear from this guy?
- 47:45Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 47:46Speaker 4: Next clip.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Shut up. What half-ass law school would you go to?
- 47:51Speaker 8: God.
- 47:52Speaker 7: There are three reasons why this is illegal. When materials
- 47:54Speaker 7: like flooring or kitchen units or fitted furniture are installed,
- 47:58Speaker 7: they become part of the property. Even if the customer
- 48:00Speaker 7: hasn't paid in full, the builder has no legal right
- 48:02Speaker 7: to take them back. Number two, trespassing. Builders cannot enter
- 48:06Speaker 7: a customer's property without permission to remove or alter work.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Number three, criminal damage.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Well, OJ went to go get his stuff.
- 48:12Speaker 8: Yeah, it worked out well for him.
- 48:13Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 48:14Speaker 9: Morgan.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Sorry, fellas. What did he say? One more way that's illegal.
- 48:19Speaker 4: But see, also, this is another example when we talk
- 48:21Speaker 4: about squatters, right? Why are there all these protections for
- 48:25Speaker 4: the bad people?
- 48:26Speaker 3: Well, as Greg just said, there are ways, there are recourses.
- 48:30Speaker 3: A lien on your house is a big problem.
- 48:31Speaker 5: It is.
- 48:32Speaker 8: Yeah, but that doesn't make any sense.
- 48:33Speaker 4: It's not satisfying.
- 48:34Speaker 8: But if you did work. and they didn't pay, they're stealing.
- 48:40Speaker 3: You have to prove that in a court of law.
- 48:42Speaker 7: Even if the customer hasn't paid in full, the builder
- 48:44Speaker 7: has no legal right to take them back. Number two, trespassing.
- 48:47Speaker 7: Builders cannot enter a customer's property without permission to remove
- 48:50Speaker 7: or alter work. Number three, criminal damage. If the builder
- 48:53Speaker 7: damages or dismantles work which has already been completed... They
- 48:56Speaker 7: can be charged with criminal damage.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, look, I agree. Or you can just
- 49:00Speaker 3: be all you want, but.
- 49:00Speaker 8: That's gay.
- 49:02Speaker 5: But it's like if you owe me a ton of money, Gina,
- 49:04Speaker 5: I can't just go to your house and take something
- 49:06Speaker 5: valuable of yours because you didn't.
- 49:08Speaker 3: You know what?
- 49:09Speaker 8: I'm going to allow it.
- 49:10Speaker 3: There are a lot of contracts.
- 49:11Speaker 8: But see, the problem is a lot of these contractors
- 49:12Speaker 8: see these videos and like, what do you say? Oh,
- 49:13Speaker 8: that's majorly satisfying. And then they go out and commit
- 49:16Speaker 8: crimes thinking that they're making a big old stink.
- 49:18Speaker 3: And then you lose your license. You go to jail.
- 49:20Speaker 3: So be careful, idiots.
- 49:22Speaker 8: But we feel better.
- 49:23Speaker 3: There's a price to pay. The counter argument is eh.
- 49:25Speaker 5: There's a price to pay for something satisfying.
- 49:27Speaker 4: I'm hearing what you're saying and I'm doing the calculation.
- 49:29Speaker 4: I go, my initial go, eh. It may be worth
- 49:32Speaker 4: it depending on the situation.
- 49:33Speaker 3: To lose your whole life. Yeah, your livelihood that you're
- 49:35Speaker 3: trying to protect. Well, if I'm on that jury, not guilty.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 49:39Speaker 11: Pfft.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Got an after-hours voicemail that came in. We got a
- 49:47Speaker 4: lot of feedback when Jeff was talking about his back
- 49:50Speaker 4: issues and how he had surgery, and he just went
- 49:53Speaker 4: for acupuncture. Yeah, he went for acupuncture. Yeah, somebody hit
- 50:00Speaker 4: us up on the after-hours voicemail.
- 50:02Speaker 13: Hey, Jeff G.
- 50:02Speaker 3: this is Hugh.
- 50:04Speaker 13: He's saying about doing the acupuncture, and the best it
- 50:07Speaker 13: tells me, I know everybody's situation is different, It is
- 50:11Speaker 13: the deepest tissue in the soul.
- 50:12Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 50:13Speaker 5: I'm guessing.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Well, that's Pittsburgh. Oh, I know that.
- 50:17Speaker 4: I'm just trying to figure out what he's even saying.
- 50:20Speaker 4: He hasn't got to it yet, I don't think. But
- 50:22Speaker 4: I heard Pitt. Hold on.
- 50:25Speaker 5: 724.
- 50:26Speaker 3: There it is.
- 50:27Speaker 9: Boom.
- 50:28Speaker 3: I love that accent, by the way.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Pittsburgh accent. Hang out with Aunt Chrissy.
- 50:32Speaker 5: Oh, dude.
- 50:33Speaker 4: We have some ideas for stuff to do with Aunt Chrissy.
- 50:35Speaker 11: Yes.
- 50:35Speaker 4: I think everybody's going to love it.
- 50:37Speaker 11: All right.
- 50:37Speaker 3: So, here.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Back to you, Zane.
- 50:38Speaker 13: HFT, this is Phil. He said about doing the action pump,
- 50:43Speaker 13: and the best that's helped me, I know everybody's situation's different,
- 50:46Speaker 13: but it's the deepest tissue massage you can get. Man,
- 50:50Speaker 13: it seems to relax you. You come out feeling like jello.
- 50:53Speaker 13: I don't know if you've tried it or not, but
- 50:54Speaker 13: if you haven't, you ought to try it.
- 50:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Give it a go.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Later, bro. Give it a go.
- 51:00Speaker 4: Give it a go.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Does he say ass pump in the beginning? Ass pump.
- 51:04Speaker 3: I think he's trying to say acupuncture, but his phone
- 51:06Speaker 3: drops out. Okay. Try the ass pump. Have you ever
- 51:09Speaker 3: tried getting your ass pumped?
- 51:12Speaker 4: CBS is so disappointed in Jeff.
- 51:13Speaker 3: Well, not in Jeff.
- 51:14Speaker 8: I'm disappointed in the medical system at large that it
- 51:17Speaker 8: was tricked however many years ago into covering acupuncture instead
- 51:20Speaker 8: of saying, oh, this is nonsense that has been shown
- 51:23Speaker 8: not to work. You know, when you actually do sham-controlled trials.
- 51:28Speaker 3: But you said you.
- 51:28Speaker 15: Got good results out of it. I strongly disagree because
- 51:31Speaker 15: it works. But it's proven to bring down inflammation, and
- 51:34Speaker 15: that's exactly.
- 51:35Speaker 3: What it did for me.
- 51:35Speaker 8: No, that's not true. The placebo effect works. But the
- 51:40Speaker 8: placebo effect, not to get into a whole thing because
- 51:43Speaker 8: we could go on for days about this, only erodes
- 51:47Speaker 8: trust in actual science.
- 51:49Speaker 3: Well, if it makes them feel better, no. I could
- 51:53Speaker 3: have Greg hold a Ruby gem.
- 51:55Speaker 4: So there's no possibility. I'm saying for you, in your
- 52:00Speaker 4: own brain, there's no possibility. You can't acknowledge a possibility
- 52:03Speaker 4: that Jeff did this and for him it worked.
- 52:06Speaker 8: But see, that's not what works means. Works is not...
- 52:09Speaker 8: actually did a medical thing.
- 52:11Speaker 3: It relieves pain.
- 52:13Speaker 15: So you're saying a whole culture is completely full.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Of crap and like the whole.
- 52:18Speaker 8: Now he's saying.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Absolutely. Eastern medicine is just a farce.
- 52:23Speaker 8: That's part of the problem is that people think that
- 52:26Speaker 8: just because something is far away from me and ancient,
- 52:28Speaker 8: it must be good.
- 52:29Speaker 3: I don't think that. That's the argument you just used. No, no, no.
- 52:33Speaker 3: I said it works for me, but I'm asking you
- 52:36Speaker 3: if you feel that it's false.
- 52:37Speaker 8: Not feel, know that, because they have done. I use
- 52:41Speaker 8: my book, Trick or Treatment, where it's tough to do
- 52:44Speaker 8: double blind.
- 52:45Speaker 4: How do you have that book just at the ready?
- 52:47Speaker 4: Because it's been sitting here for years.
- 52:48Speaker 8: He carries it around. And they talk about how acupuncture,
- 52:51Speaker 8: the reason it came to America was because of when
- 52:53Speaker 8: Nixon went to China and opened that up, blah, blah, blah, 1970, whatever.
- 52:56Speaker 8: It was allowed– it came here and then a bunch
- 52:58Speaker 8: of dumb, hippie, stupid, yuppie suburb moms are like, oh,
- 53:03Speaker 8: it's far away and ancient. Therefore, it must be mystical
- 53:06Speaker 8: and heal and quote work. Well, when they actually did
- 53:08Speaker 8: the tests, which is tough to do with acupuncture because
- 53:10Speaker 8: it's tough to do a double-blind test, but they found
- 53:13Speaker 8: ways to put fake needles and so on and so forth.
- 53:15Speaker 8: There is no benefit above placebo. There's these meridians in
- 53:22Speaker 8: your body, but how are they?
- 53:24Speaker 4: Where are they?
- 53:24Speaker 3: What are they?
- 53:25Speaker 14: According to, let's talk about the real expert in the room, ChatGPT.
- 53:29Speaker 14: You tell me if these four things could even be
- 53:31Speaker 14: remotely possible. Because I said, how does acupuncture work? I
- 53:34Speaker 14: didn't say is it good, bad, right, wrong.
- 53:36Speaker 3: Did you put work in quotes?
- 53:38Speaker 14: Let me tell you the four things it lists. It
- 53:39Speaker 14: says the needles stimulate nerves in the skin and muscles.
- 53:42Speaker 3: I'm sure they do. Yeah, because you poke them. You
- 53:44Speaker 3: feel a needle, of course, obviously.
- 53:46Speaker 14: The stimulation can cause the body to release endorphins and
- 53:49Speaker 14: other chemicals involved in pain regulation.
- 53:51Speaker 3: So a massage.
- 53:51Speaker 8: Because you're getting like excited or whatever.
- 53:53Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 53:53Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 53:53Speaker 3: So a massage or touching.
- 53:54Speaker 4: Well, then it's like when you climax, it releases whatever.
- 53:59Speaker 4: It will knock a headache out.
- 54:01Speaker 3: In your brain, yeah.
- 54:02Speaker 8: Yeah, so that's a thing.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Okay, again, but keep going though. Okay.
- 54:06Speaker 8: It can also affect how the brain and spinal cord
- 54:08Speaker 8: process pain signals.
- 54:10Speaker 3: You have to show me more on that.
- 54:11Speaker 14: And local stimulation may increase blood flow to that area
- 54:15Speaker 14: and muscle relaxation.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Sure.
- 54:17Speaker 8: So this is a different kind.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Of- Massages work. So why can't acupuncture work?
- 54:21Speaker 5: Would you say massages don't work?
- 54:22Speaker 3: That's not what acupuncture claims. They claim- I'm tapping into
- 54:27Speaker 3: specific meridians. Your chi. Your chi.
- 54:30Speaker 5: Chakras.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Meridians.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Chakras.
- 54:31Speaker 3: If it works, it works. I don't care how I
- 54:34Speaker 3: explain it. If it works, it works. Again, we could
- 54:36Speaker 3: go on forever about this, but that is not what
- 54:38Speaker 3: they claim. You guys are saying, well, it kind of
- 54:40Speaker 3: does these other things, but I'm claiming it does these things.
- 54:43Speaker 8: But who's they?
- 54:44Speaker 10: I mean, any different acupuncture person could claim whatever it
- 54:47Speaker 10: is that they're saying that works. How do we know
- 54:48Speaker 10: that there's not someone saying what Gina just told us?
- 54:51Speaker 10: Who are these people that you're talking about?
- 54:52Speaker 8: They are people who work at Dumpy Strip Balls.
- 54:55Speaker 14: Well, it says the traditional explanation is that it balances
- 54:58Speaker 14: your cheese.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Exactly. 562 says Seabass is just a shell for big medicine.
- 55:03Speaker 15: Right.
- 55:03Speaker 3: Just a shell for evidence-based science.
- 55:06Speaker 13: The whole reason that we have anything good in our lives.
- 55:10Speaker 4: He is a man of science. We can all agree
- 55:12Speaker 4: on that. Seabass, this week in audio.
- 55:14Speaker 5: All right.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Let's go to a more fun thing. Okay.
- 55:16Speaker 8: The new GTA 6 soundtrack.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Okay. Now, this is actually super, I think, a fun thing.
- 55:21Speaker 8: Like, if you have a video game whose budget is
- 55:23Speaker 8: literally billions of dollars, like GTA 6's is, you can
- 55:27Speaker 8: have people produce original music for you. So we got
- 55:29Speaker 8: a special round of Who Dis? These are actual songs
- 55:32Speaker 8: that are on the new GTA 6 soundtrack. I'm not
- 55:34Speaker 8: going to tell you who's singing them. Just buzz in
- 55:36Speaker 8: with who you think it is.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Okay. This is The Last Thing You Need.
- 55:41Speaker 5: Okay.
- 55:41Speaker 3: You took off your dress and said one more night.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Head on my chest, thought I felt you cry. That's
- 55:47Speaker 3: Morgan Wallen.
- 55:48Speaker 4: Then you said goodbye, and.
- 55:49Speaker 3: Baby I said goodbye.
- 55:56Speaker 5: I liked it.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Where would a song like this fit into GTA?
- 55:59Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 56:00Speaker 15: The last music I listened to while jacking somebody in
- 56:02Speaker 15: this country.
- 56:04Speaker 9: I know.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Is this the part where I'm beating up the hooker
- 56:07Speaker 3: to get my money back?
- 56:07Speaker 8: Well, with GTA 6, the maps are so big, you
- 56:10Speaker 8: can go on road trips. Yeah, maybe you're in there. Sammy,
- 56:13Speaker 8: could you actually tell, or that was a guess?
- 56:16Speaker 7: Yes, no.
- 56:16Speaker 8: You know what he's talking about.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds like light rock.
- 56:20Speaker 4: Is this another one?
- 56:22Speaker 8: GTA 6, new soundtrack, who dis? The song is called Rhino.
- 56:30Speaker 8: Wiz Khalifa.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Close.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Simon Rex.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Close. Sounds like Fred Durst. Sounds like Mario. Travis Scott.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Travis Scott.
- 56:36Speaker 6: Okay.
- 56:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 56:51Speaker 3: I don't like the vocals.
- 56:53Speaker 4: I think the vocals kind of mess it up just
- 56:55Speaker 4: as the music goes.
- 56:56Speaker 3: The vibe was.
- 57:00Speaker 5: Good.
- 57:01Speaker 3: It's pretty cool.
- 57:04Speaker 15: He uses a lot of auto-tune, so that's why it
- 57:06Speaker 15: threw me for a loop. It doesn't sound like him.
- 57:10Speaker 8: Anybody could do that, though. To me, that's fully the producer.
- 57:13Speaker 6: With Travis Scott, I do not know how he's gotten...
- 57:16Speaker 6: suburban american kids to be like huge fans of him
- 57:20Speaker 6: like i don't year old boy i don't get it dude.
- 57:22Speaker 15: It's it's rage music he does like the he doesn't
- 57:25Speaker 15: like rap necessarily or sing necessarily he just goes along
- 57:27Speaker 15: with the beat but it's that rage music type energy
- 57:30Speaker 15: that's why my kids love him.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Which is just that it's just the producer though like
- 57:32Speaker 3: anybody greg could be.
- 57:34Speaker 8: Like i mean good for him i guess he only
- 57:37Speaker 8: killed five kids yeah i like the uh oh wow
- 57:39Speaker 8: here i like the um like the music i'm gonna
- 57:41Speaker 8: strip the uh vocal stuff out hold on.
- 57:48Speaker 3: See, that's very cool. I like that right there. The producer.
- 58:05Speaker 8: We'll do a fun, maybe next week we'll have, I'll
- 58:07Speaker 8: get the beat and just have Greg rap over it.
- 58:09Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. That'd be cool. Rap traffic.
- 58:12Speaker 4: Everybody going to GTA.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Rap traffic. Everybody going to Home Goods.
- 58:16Speaker 5: If you want a number one hit.
- 58:19Speaker 3: You got one more for this? One more.
- 58:21Speaker 8: This is new for the GTA 6 soundtrack. Bright Lights,
- 58:24Speaker 8: Big City.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Who dis? All right. Bright Lights, Big City. Who dis?
- 58:30Speaker 3: Bright Lights, Big City. Yeah, GTA 6.
- 58:36Speaker 5: Bob Dylan?
- 58:36Speaker 4: Close.
- 58:37Speaker 3: Elvis Costello? You're in the right.
- 58:44Speaker 5: It's not Ringo, is it?
- 58:45Speaker 3: You guys are circling around to Keith Richards.
- 58:47Speaker 10: Oh.
- 58:48Speaker 8: So not the singer of the Rolling Stones, but the
- 58:52Speaker 8: other guy.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:53Speaker 11: Okay.
- 58:54Speaker 4: This sounds like it fits way more than the Morgan
- 58:57Speaker 4: Wallen song.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so over-processed, this modern country.
- 59:00Speaker 5: I agree.
- 59:02Speaker 3: No, Morgan Wallen's great.
- 59:03Speaker 4: And a racist, right?
- 59:05Speaker 3: He only said the N-word out loud once. Is it
- 59:07Speaker 3: Morgan Wallen, and no one racist? He only yelled it
- 59:09Speaker 3: at a guy once. And he was quoting rap music.
- 59:13Speaker 3: He was quoting Travis Scott. He was singing along. Alright.
- 59:16Speaker 3: It's kind of how the doctor needs to see your
- 59:19Speaker 3: penis even though you came in for a sprained wrist.
- 59:23Speaker 5: If you have a broken toe, show me your scrotum.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Let's wrap up this week in audio, Sebas.
- 59:29Speaker 8: That's the What Do You Show original game, Why Are
- 59:31Speaker 8: They Screaming? That's why we play audio of somebody just
- 59:34Speaker 8: absolutely losing their mind and go around the room and
- 59:37Speaker 8: guess why they're screaming.
- 59:38Speaker 13: Here it is.
- 59:38Speaker 3: All right, Why Are They Screaming?
- 59:40Speaker 4: I know the answer.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:52Speaker 8: I mean, I want to be there. There's a reason
- 59:53Speaker 8: why Woody knows the answer, but I'll go around the room.
- 59:55Speaker 3: Sounds wild.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Because I'm a big fan of the Karate Kid, and
- 59:57Speaker 4: that's when Sato was trapped because a big storm came.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: I'm a yogi!
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: Oh, in the second one, yeah.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: I'm a yogi! It sounds like he's saying, why me? Yeah, okay,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: I'll give you a clue. It is not an emotion.
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: Karate!
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Karate!
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: I'm a yogi!
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: It's definitely a roller coaster, right?
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: A roller coaster, good, because a lot of girls ride.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Is it a serious situation?
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: Tsunami?
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: That's what I was going to say.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: I thought it was a ride. Is it one of
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: those waves? It's a ride. It's getting crazy. Wait, is
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: it that recent earthquake that was like 7 point something?
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: I'll say Gina's got the best answer. It is a
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: 737 in Iran that.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Upon takeoff, basically just starts falling apart. Oh, God, I
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: did see this. They hit a bump, and then the
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: ceiling started coming down. Yeah, literally just like things are separating. Yeah,
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: like the fuselage was intact, right?
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: But like, you know how they put up like the
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: panels and stuff and the overhead compartments? Just falling off. Yeah,
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: like they hit like a bump, and all that stuff
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: just started like coming down.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: So, oh, milky! And people started freaking out.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Marty! Marty!
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Marty! But you're right, the screaming helps.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Well, Woody, this is actually something. It's a reflex.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: As a flight expert.
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: Iran's Civil Aviation Organization, which apparently is for goats, said
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: they attribute the event to landing gear shimmy caused by
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: a worn, leaking, and corroding shimmy damper. A shimmy damper?
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: A shimmy damper.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: That sounds like, oh, a shimmy damper. This was during takeoff, apparently,
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: and that little, whatever that thing to help didn't work.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: The shocks, I guess.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: The anti-shimmy damper? Right.
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: All right, well, so the gear can shimmy upon takeoff.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: I mean, obviously with the- And it makes it all rock. Yeah,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: and that could cause everything to shake, which shook the
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: ceiling loose, and I guess there's a shimmy damper which
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: would keep it from.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: Doing that, which was not functioning.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Like a boat stabilizer.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: That makes sense. Now it says, do they even make
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: 737s anymore? I don't think they do.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: Don't know. Do we know the end result of all this?
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: Everybody lived. It happened during takeoff, so they just aborted takeoff.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Oh, my God. But after that guy said, oh, wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Yeah, they just nosedive right into the ground. Like, forget it.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: If it doesn't look right inside here, we're just going
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: to nosedive.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Why live? Chances are good it's going to happen on
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: many other flights.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: This week in audio.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: All right, a much more chill guy. This is Trevor Creek,
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: or Creaky.
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: Lived in the middle of Illinois. And he noticed a
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: tornado coming to his house. Not to visit, but to destroy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: And he just said, well, you know what? If I'm
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: going to die, I might as well get it on video.
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: And this is what happened with Travis.
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: Bro, there's a tornado outside right now. Oh my gosh.
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: What in the world just happened?
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: This isn't super new, right? This has been around for
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: like a couple months or something?
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: No, no, like I would say a week or so. Yeah,
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: like a week or so.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Because there was one that sounded very similar to that
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: where there's this guy like, oh, there's a tornado. And
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: then he's like in his kitchen or something like that.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: He's very calm. And then the next thing you know,
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: the whole house is gone. He's still standing there. This
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: is a guy who was in his living room. Yeah,
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: this is super new.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: He was inside, then he was outside.
- 1:03:06Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: There's another one that's very similar.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: I highly admire his mellow demeanor.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: As his roof is being ripped off his house. I'm
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: hanging out here in every house that's getting hit by
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: a tornado until I don't survive one.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: So here he is surveying the damage.
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: I mean, I feel alright. I got scraped up. That
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: was insane. The whole house that I'm living in just
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: got torn to pieces. Oh, my car's tore up. My
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: whole house is tore up.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: We're definitely NATOing, boys.
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: I got you.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Check it out.
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: He sounds like, yeah, one of the King of the
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: Hills friends.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: You know what? Good, low resting heart rate. Yeah, right?
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: That beats those. Just get a new one. Yeah, that's it.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: He's lucky, right, Woody? He gets a new house. Exactly right.
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Just follow the claim, dude.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: That's so easy.
- 1:03:58Speaker 13: Exactly.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: I bet you whatever you're going to get replaced is
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: going to be nicer than that was.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: New stuff is always nicer.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: Fast and easy.
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: This weekend. Well, I'm not saying it's going to be fast,
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: but it'll be worth it.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: It'll be worth it.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: You survived and you got a new house out.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: You got to look at the silver lining, Greg. Okay.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: All right, more Woody shows next. Holy crap. We screw
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: around just for our fun.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: And I saw that glint in your eye.
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: And I knew you were banging.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: Banging.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: Banging.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: The Woody Show will be right back.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Oh, really? The Woody Show.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: All right, guess the word, Gina Grad.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Silvery.
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: Chivalry?
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Chivalry. Chivalry, yeah. Chivalry, okay.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: Got it. What about this one, Gregor?
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: Camaraderie? Camaraderie.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: Camaraderie?
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Camaraderie.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: Nailed it. Yep.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: You nailed it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: One of our favorites is this one.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Cru-Fu.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. I know that one.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Cru-Fu? Yeah. Take a guess, Gina.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Cru-Fu.
- 1:05:05Speaker 16: Curfew?
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Curfew.
- 1:05:07Speaker 13: Wow.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: Nice.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: These are some of our favorite all-time menace burnunciations. A
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: very popular 90s brand. Yeah.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: What kind of shoes are those? Cru-Fu's. Cru-Fu's.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: But this time, we're going to flip the script. Menace,
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: you get to try to guess what this dude is saying.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: It's the Bernunciation game. This is a Dominican baseball player.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: His name is Francis Gruyon.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: I have been to the DR.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: He is originally from the Dominican Republic. He's got this thick.
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: Dominican accent, and his teammates, they showed him some words
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: in the clubhouse there, and they asked him to pronounce them,
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: and we'll see how well they do. I'm going to
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: start with an easy, I'll start easier, and then we'll
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: kind of work up.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Okay. All right?
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: So Menace gets to guess first. Nobody give him any
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: clues or anything.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: All right. Menace, here we go. First word. Bacon cleaner.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Vacuum cleaner. Vacuum cleaner. Vacuum cleaner.
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: Yeah, nice.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: All right. Vacuum cleaner.
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: Vacuum cleaner.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: How about this one?
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Miss Chuevos. What? Miss Chuevos. Miss... It's very hard to hear.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Miss Chuevos.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: Got it.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: Miss Chuevos? Yeah.
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: What word would that be?
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: You got the miss right.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Oh, I got it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: Greg? Is it mischievous?
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: Nice.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Mischievous.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Menace, you know what huevos mean? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: Okay, good.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Of course.
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: Nuts.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: Number three in the pronunciation game. What is he saying here, Menace?
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: Extravaganza.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: Extravaganza. Extravaganza.
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: Yes.
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: Now they start to get a little bit more difficult, okay?
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: This is a Dominican baseball player. His name is Francis Gruyan.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: What is he saying?
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Flamboyant.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: You got that one?
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: I think I got it.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Gina thinks she got it.
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: Can you do it again?
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: I'll write it down.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Yep, here we go. Flamboyant.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: Flambosing?
- 1:07:16Speaker 16: Yes.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: Flambosing.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Flamboyant. Flamboyant.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: You tapping out?
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Gina?
- 1:07:27Speaker 8: Flamboyant.
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: Flamboyant.
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Flambosing.
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: The ya is like a ja.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: Flamboyant.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: Flamboyant. That's supposed to be flamboyant.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: You know that the Vs are always Bs, too.
- 1:07:37Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: All right. Here we go.
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Next word. What is he saying? The pronunciation game.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: Photosynthesis.
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: All right. Photosynthesis.
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: Ah!
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Hey!
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: Next one.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Gina Nangins. Your mother? No. Something leggings?
- 1:08:02Speaker 11: I'm going to pass.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: On that one.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: Can we play it one more time?
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: Yep, sure. Is it genealogy?
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Nope.
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: Ooh, that's a good guess.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Shenanigans. Shenanigans. I almost sounded like Chicken Nuggets.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: The way you said it, that makes sense.
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: Shenanigans.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: I thought he was saying your mother in Spanish. Shenanigans.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: Shenanigans.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Okay, totally.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: This is a Dominican baseball player, Francis Gruyon. His teammates
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: were showing him some words and stuff. And asking him
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: to pronounce it with his thick Dominican accent. A pronunciation game.
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: Next one.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Here we go. Menace. Purple nurple. Purple gerbil. Purple gerbil.
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: Purple gerbil.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Purple gerbil.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: Purple gerbil. Purple gerbil.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: They're getting harder. Purple gerbil. Purple is right.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: Purple gerbil.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Oh, purple is right?
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Yep. Purple what? Purple gerbil.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: Purple gerbil?
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Purple velvet.
- 1:09:08Speaker 16: Oh.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: What? No, no, no.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: That's what they were showing him. Purple velvet.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: Purple gerbil.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: Purple gerbil.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Purple gerbil. All right.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: Last one.
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Last one.
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Pronunciation game. What is he saying, Menace? Squeeter.
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: Squeeter?
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Squeeter. Squeer?
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: Squeer.
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Squeeter.
- 1:09:36Speaker 13: Squeeter.
- 1:09:38Speaker 8: Think about how they're all laughing.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: Squeeter. Squeefer?
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: I'm trying to.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Squeeter.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Squeefer?
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: Queefer.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: Greg, Gina, got a guess?
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: Squirter?
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: Yeah, Squirter.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Squirter. Squirter.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: You think squirter, too?
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Yep. Squirrels. No way! Wait a second.
- 1:10:03Speaker 9: Squirrels.
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: There was a L in there.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: He's saying squirrels. Squeeter.
- 1:10:08Speaker 9: Squeeter.
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: Squeeter. That's fine.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: They're all having fun. They're not, like, making fun of him.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: He's very much a loved member of the team, and
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: everybody's just having a good time. I cut him up
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: into individual words, but, yeah, here's the clip.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: Fotos gimtesis.
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: Luchuevos. Extra Ravaganza.
- 1:10:28Speaker 11: Bacon Cleaner. Flambo Jing. Purple Barber. Gina Nalgings.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: Squeeter.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: I already forgot what Gina Nalgings was.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Shenanigans.
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: Shenanigans.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: I thought he was saying F your mother.
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: We're going to take a quick break. We've got some
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: more Woody Show for you next. And Alfred Robles.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Yes. My pants are around my ankles.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: Do you feel each individual pump?
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Is that too deep?
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: All right, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, you're allowed
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: to say that again, you know?
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: We have a guest in studio. Alfred Robles is here.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Here with me, Alfred Robles. LOL Live. It's on Hulu.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: It's out tomorrow.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Let's go. At Alfred Robles on Instagram or all the
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: social media, I guess. Is it all the same on
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: all the different platforms? Wow, you did it right. Menace
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: always gets mad at people who don't do it that way.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: They have numbers in there and stuff.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: AlfredRobles.com. And yeah, man, so this is, by the way,
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: thank you for coming in.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Thank you guys for having me, man.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: I'm jumping right into the plugs and talking about the
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: special and everything. So this LOL Live, this is like
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: a Kevin Hart thing, right? It is.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: It's a Kevin Hart production. I'm happy, man. This is
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: my first special. See, I find that interesting.
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: Me too. Like how has this only happened now? Well,
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: I filmed one six months ago. That's my hour special.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: And then I filmed this one after. But this was
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: my first one that's going to be out there.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: Yeah, anybody not familiar with Alfred Robles, man? Funny dude, man.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: And this is your first time here on the show.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: We're happy to have you. Madison and I ran into
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: Alfred at the airport last year. We were headed out
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: somewhere and, you know, ended up on the same flight.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: It's like, dude, yeah, how have you never been here before?
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Have you never had the special?
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Welcome. Thank you. Thank you for having me, man.
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: And you've been killing it, dude, across the country with
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: your tours.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: It's been awesome to see.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Yeah, let me tell you about Vatos with Gatos.
- 1:12:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Anybody needs a translation on that.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: It's dudes with cats, right? Dudes with cats. Nothing wrong
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: with that.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: So you're a cat guy? I am. Yeah?
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: How?
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: Five cats. Why? Five cats inside and six cats outside. What?
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: Dude, your neighbors hate you. So many cats.
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: You're the cat guy?
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: I'm the cat guy, man.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: Why cats?
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: That's rare.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: Dude, in 2015, I rescued my first cat. And ever
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: since then, I knew I was putting this earth to
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: help cats. Really? I love that so much. Oh, okay.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: So it's not even like part of like, I'm a comedian.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: I'm being funny. I'm a cat.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: No, I'm helping cats, bro. You're super into it. Okay.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: And those six cats outside, I just left food for
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: them and water. That's all you needed.
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: Do you think the cats... have an emotional attachment to you?
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: Because I contend they don't. Like, I don't think they really, like,
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: rub up against you and love you.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not like dogs where they love you, you know?
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Like, they're kind of self-serving, you know what I mean?
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: And I'm cool with that. Oh, really?
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: I'm cool with that, bro.
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: I'm cool with that.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: As long as I know I'm cool with that, man.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: But my cats will love me, though. You don't have to.
- 1:13:39Speaker 8: Prove it, but do you know all of their names?
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: Okay. Yes, yes, yes.
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: Go ahead, run them off.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Chicken, tulip, canelo, valentina, and leo.
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and the six cats that live outside, I have
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: no idea. I'm just giving them food and water.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: Just to clarify, not gay, right?
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: No, hell no.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: You, you.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: My cats or what? You, not the cats.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: You, not the cats. Well, because, so Sammy here, she
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: got a boyfriend last year, and this was a single
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: dude who With a cat.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: And we're like, oh, questionable.
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: We're not, you know, I'm not sure.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Wait, and you turn out to be gay?
- 1:14:15Speaker 16: No.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: No, that's just them.
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: That's their whole theory. If any single guy has a cat,
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: they're gay. But I know tons of single guys with cats.
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: And I don't think it's a big deal at all.
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: And they tell me no.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: No, we don't know. Look, the odds are not really
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: like in your favor.
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: They just say the jury's out.
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: Yeah, the jury's out.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Bro, there's nothing wrong with cats, man. Cats are awesome.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: But have you been single with a cat?
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: Yes. So you meet a woman and she finds out
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: you have 18,000 cats. What's the reaction? Well, when I
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: was single, I was only one cat.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: Oh, okay. So then with my girlfriend now, she brought
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: three of her cats. Oh, she was already a cat.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: Well, a cat man needs a cat lady.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: Yeah. So then my cat passed away and then I
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: rescued two more cats. So that's how we got together.
- 1:15:02Speaker 10: And let me ask you, because I know this with
- 1:15:04Speaker 10: a lot of guys, is that they'll end up with
- 1:15:06Speaker 10: cats instead of dogs because.
- 1:15:08Speaker 8: they're less maintenance.
- 1:15:09Speaker 10: And if they're traveling and doing other stuff, it's easier
- 1:15:11Speaker 10: to have a cat than a dog. Is that why
- 1:15:14Speaker 10: you went for cats? Because you travel, you're a comedian
- 1:15:16Speaker 10: or are you actually a dog.
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: Person or no?
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: I was never a dog person. I had dogs when
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: I was a kid, but it was like, I don't know.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: I just feel like people like dogs because they want
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: attention and they're not getting the attention from their girlfriend
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: or their wife. So they need a dog to come.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: You're so right. They want the dog to come up
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: to them and hug them and jump on them.
- 1:15:37Speaker 8: Cats get a bad rap, man.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: So why are cats better than dogs, though?
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: Because you don't have to walk them at 6 a.m.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: to go use the restroom.
- 1:15:45Speaker 13: You don't have to.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Do a lot of things, bro. They're chill. They're in
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: the litter box. You clean it and we're good, bro.
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: Sammy, tell Alfred what happened. Are you saying your cat now?
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: I mean, shouldn't I?
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: I live with this cat. The way she told the story,
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: she goes, my cat.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: I go, wow, my cat.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: I think you've reached that point.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: She's taken ownership. But Greg, I think you'll appreciate this.
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: The cat.
- 1:16:10Speaker 10: Brought a chipmunk into the house. It was still alive,
- 1:16:14Speaker 10: straight into the bedroom. And so, as soon as.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: You know, Like, Proud wants to show you?
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: Oh, very proud, yes. And so, she drops the chipmunk. Now,
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: the chipmunk runs.
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: What?
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Don't know where it is.
- 1:16:25Speaker 10: My brother-in-law convinces me that it ran out on its own.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: No, I'll show you how.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's still there somewhere.
- 1:16:31Speaker 10: Right, so, So a few hours later, we see the
- 1:16:33Speaker 10: cat trying to get up on the drapes in the bedroom.
- 1:16:36Speaker 10: So the chipmunk had climbed up to the top of
- 1:16:39Speaker 10: the drapes. Now we're trying to get this chipmunk down.
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: It flies across the room.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: I watch it. My whole head.
- 1:16:44Speaker 10: Turns as this chipmunk flies across the room and then disappears. I, again,
- 1:16:48Speaker 10: have no clue.
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Where this chipmunk is.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: You still don't know? It's loose in your house.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: It's still there.
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: Well, no, no.
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: Now I know.
- 1:16:54Speaker 10: So then five o'clock in the morning, I hear this
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: cat running all around, running all around the room.
- 1:16:59Speaker 8: And I'm like, It's got the chipmunk. It got the chipmunk.
- 1:17:01Speaker 8: And it did.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: They were, like, trapped in.
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: It was where the toilet is. There's a separate door
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: for the toilet.
- 1:17:07Speaker 10: And I ended up catching it and putting it outside.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: Sammy!
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: I got the chipmunk.
- 1:17:11Speaker 14: That is amazing, but you probably do have rabies. And also,
- 1:17:15Speaker 14: why are all these squirrels and chipmunks always coming in here?
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: She's like Snow White. I know.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: I would have murdered that chipmunk so hard.
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: Alfred, did your cats bring any gifts?
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: No, because my cats don't go outside. But that's why.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: Cats don't ever bring you presents.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Don't come inside. I'm kind of thinking like, so Alfred,
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: for those who don't know, Alfred does this thing at
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: his shows. It's called What Happened. And people have these
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: crazy stories, dude.
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: Oh, man.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Yeah, so you know those before? I have no idea.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: So how does that work? So at the show, do
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: you have somebody?
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: Or you just pick somebody random? No, it's all random
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: people where I got to come up with everything right
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: there and then. You're so good. So who's got a story?
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: So what I do is I do 45 to 50
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: minutes of material. And then I tell them, I put
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: the lights up and I bring a tequila bottle. to
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: make them feel comfortable. And I say, hey, who has
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: a crazy story? Raise your hand and come up. And
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: we're like, we'll try to give you guys advice. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: And then I tell them, we're not going to judge
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: you guys. Just tell us what's going on. And then
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: they just open up to the craziest things ever, bro.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: Where I'm like, why are you opening up to this?
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Why are you telling people? This guy came up and
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: he said his wife shot him two times in the back. What?
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: On accident. Oh, shit.
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: Oh, shit.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: On accident. I'm like, wait, both times it was on accident?
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: They're like, yeah, because it was the same time. I'm like, oh. Oh,
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: my God.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: I'll play everybody a little clip. This is from one
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: of Alfred's shows. What happened?
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: What happened?
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: What happened? I've been married 10, 11 years.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Finally, now my wife cheated on me.
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: She lived a double life.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: How did you find out she was cheating on you
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: and living a double life?
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: My brother.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Caught her on the restaurant and he called me up
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: and he told me to come over. Can we guess
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: the restaurant?
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: It's Italian.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: Olive Garden! Olive Garden! So your brother called you and
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: he said, hey, if you want to come, you can come. Yeah,
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: I took off. I was like five minutes away, so...
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: And what did you see when you walked in?
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: They coming out when I was coming in.
- 1:19:13Speaker 13: Do you know the guy?
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: I met him once. How did you meet him, fool?
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: At her job.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: He was the manager. Did you fight him?
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: Yes. Did you win?
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: At least he won the fight, right?
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: Dude, there's some man, like, who's that? We can't even
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: talk about the story, really, I guess.
- 1:19:33Speaker 15: Yeah, the woman that hooked up with another dude and
- 1:19:36Speaker 15: the guy wanted to prove.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:38Speaker 15: We can't play it on the air, but it's dirty.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: You'd love it, though.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. She's like one of your people. Yeah.
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: Okay, okay.
- 1:19:47Speaker 15: It's really dirty, but yeah, he wanted her to prove
- 1:19:51Speaker 15: that she didn't sleep with somebody else, so he did
- 1:19:54Speaker 15: an act on her to prove.
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: Yeah, real pervy. Oh, okay.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: And there was a lot of proof there.
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: Alfred Robles is here, LOL Live on Hulu, out tomorrow
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: at Alfred Robles on social media.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: We're going to take a quick break. More with Alfred next.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Hang on.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: Welcome back, everybody.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: Alfred Rogles is here.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: And more with you in a second. But first, it's
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: time for a Wheel of Gift Cards.
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: It's the Woody.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: Show, and now.
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: It's time for Wheel of Gift Cards. Yes.
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:20:40Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: All right. Wheel of Gift Cards. 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: Say hi to William, everybody.
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: Hey, William.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Hey.
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: Hi.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: Hi. So, William, tell Greg Gorey where you're from. Rancho Cucamonga.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: The 909.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: That's right. All right.
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: So, William, you're caller number 98. You get to choose
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: the gift card that you want. It can't be a
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: cash card, can't be Amazon card, but anything else is
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: on the table.
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: What are you going to go with?
- 1:21:04Speaker 13: How about Home Depot?
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Oh, great choice.
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: I love that.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: I just got my dad a Home Depot card for
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: Father's Day.
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: You can't go wrong with that.
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: Great.
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: And by the way, when he went there, there was
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: nothing on the card.
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: What?
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: And it turns out the grocery store that my wife
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: and I have been buying gift cards from, there's been
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: a lot of scamming going on. Oh, no. And yeah,
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: because my wife got a Sephora gift card for one
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: of my daughter's friends for some birthday or something. Yeah.
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: And there was nothing on her card either.
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: Didn't they give you that microscopic receipt thing?
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: And that's how we ended up.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: But we had to call Home Depot.com.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: Corporate office and stuff like the whole thing and they
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: they figured it out for my dad and how.
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: Do you tell someone i mean maybe your family is
- 1:21:48Speaker 8: different but you're like hi um there was nothing on
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: this card.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: Yeah right yeah anyway but we won't have a problem
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: with that william it's gonna be great we're not buying
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: it from that grocery store it's gonna be worth anything
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: from 300 bucks to a thousand bucks you get to
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: choose who spins on your behalf woody gina greg or
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: menace who would you like to have spin I'm going
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: to have to go with you, Woody.
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: Okay, get it done.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: It hasn't been a great choice for a couple people
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: this week.
- 1:22:14Speaker 9: Here we go.
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: All right, let's go. Any amount is a good amount.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: I know, but when the options are anywhere from 300
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: up to 1,000, you get 300. I feel bad.
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: You want a fun fact? Sure.
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: Always.
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: I had dinner in Rancho Cucamonga last night.
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: No way. That's so fun. Yeah.
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: Neat.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: At Lazy Dog Restaurant.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: Here we go.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: My friend, you got $ 400. Very nice.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: At Home Depot.
- 1:22:53Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: All right, William.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: Congratulations, man.
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: Hang on one second. We're number one in Rancho Cucamonga.
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: You know that already, though.
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: I would have gotten $ 1, 000, but whatever.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: It's all good.
- 1:23:06Speaker 9: Okay, okay.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Okay, I think I know what that is. Yeah, this
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: is the Woody Show. Bought a truck, bro. I just
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: bought a Toyota, man. Hell yeah, man.
- 1:23:17Speaker 17: I love my truck, but it's like a popular color.
- 1:23:20Speaker 17: Everybody has the same color. It's that green weird color, bro.
- 1:23:24Speaker 17: And it's kind of crazy because everybody has the same color.
- 1:23:27Speaker 17: They just want a vibe because we have the same
- 1:23:29Speaker 17: color truck, bro.
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: I can't be that guy, bro.
- 1:23:32Speaker 17: I can't just vibe because we have something alike. One
- 1:23:34Speaker 17: day I went to the mall, and I went to
- 1:23:36Speaker 17: go park, and the guy parked right next to me,
- 1:23:38Speaker 17: and he waited for me.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: To get off the truck.
- 1:23:40Speaker 17: I got off, and he comes running, and he goes, eh, eh, eh, eh.
- 1:23:46Speaker 17: I used to have a truck like that. It runs good, huh?
- 1:23:50Speaker 17: Then he goes, can I give you a tip? I'm
- 1:23:52Speaker 17: all like, yeah, what's up, bro?
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: He goes, bro, if you.
- 1:23:54Speaker 17: Lift it three more inches, you're going to like it
- 1:23:59Speaker 17: even more?
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: I can't do that, bro.
- 1:24:01Speaker 17: Imagine I was at the mall and I see a
- 1:24:04Speaker 17: guy that's with my ex-girlfriend. And I just go up
- 1:24:08Speaker 17: to him, I go, oh, hey. She runs good, huh?
- 1:24:20Speaker 17: Can I give you a tip? Just lift her three inches.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: Alvin Robles is here, LOL Live.
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: It's his first special.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: It's on Hulu.
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: Out tomorrow at Alvin Robles. on social media. So LOL Live,
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: it's Kevin Hart giving these different comedians this opportunity, man,
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: to get out there and show everybody what you can do.
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: How long have you been at the comedy thing?
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: 20 years, bro.
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: Wow, dude. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: It seems like it'd be a lot of fun. Like
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: all the comedians I know, it seems like it's a
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: good time all the time.
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: Especially now.
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it's definitely.
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: It's in its heyday now.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: Don't you kind of feel like that? Yes, but when
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: it's struggling, it's not fun.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: No.
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: But I think that's like any job, though. I mean,
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: like the first couple jobs I had doing this stupid job,
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: it was like you were broke and you weren't really
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: making any money, but you loved what you were doing.
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: Yes, but it's different because I'm pretty sure you got
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: paid doing this job.
- 1:25:18Speaker 16: Barely.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so when you're a comedian, you don't get paid.
- 1:25:21Speaker 14: But a lot of people say, oh, you're a comedian,
- 1:25:23Speaker 14: you must be a big extrovert, a big personality.
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: Are you actually kind of quiet when you're on your own?
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: I think I'm kind of quiet.
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: That's pretty typical, I think.
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: So what were you, so not making money doing the
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: comedy earlier, like what were some of your earlier jobs?
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: Bro, I used to do loss prevention.
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: You did? Oh, security.
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: I did loss prevention for like Tower Records, for Old Navy,
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: for Kmart, for supermarkets. Kmart.
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: So were you allowed? I mean, I guess in Kmart days,
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: you were probably allowed to stop people.
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: Yes, you were allowed to do all kinds of things
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: to people, bro. You were allowed to handcuff people.
- 1:25:53Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: Nice. Now you have to escort them out.
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so now you're more like preventing it.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: Back in the days, you were able to stop people.
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: Yeah. You know?
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: So that was always cool, man.
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: Did you get to taser anybody?
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: I never tased or anybody, but one time I was
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: working at a supermarket and this guy was, he was
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: on probation where he was stopping people with us. He
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: was a new, he was a new law supervision agent.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: And this was his last stop. And I let him
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: go by himself. I go, do you do it on
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: your own now? So he went out and he tried
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: to catch a shoplifter and he never came back in
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: the store. He never came back into the store. I'm like, man,
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: what happened to this guy? And I go, let me
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: go outside and look for him. And the shoplifter handcuffed
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: him to a fence. Oh my God. Yeah, yeah. I'm like, bro,
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: you're never going to make.
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: It, bro.
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: You're never going to make it.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: First couldn't get into the police academy.
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: He was taking a long break.
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: There was this lady and she was like, they're over there.
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: And he was like, handcuffed.
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: He was embarrassed. That's funny. And then how long before
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: you were able to just to have comedy be what
- 1:26:59Speaker 4: you did? You didn't have to have those jobs anymore.
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: How many years in? Like 10 years probably. Because I
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: was still doing odd jobs here and there. Because the
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: thing is, when Gabriel started taking me on the road,
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: he'll take me like.
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: Gabriel Iglesias.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Gabriel Iglesias. He'll take me like one weekend, and
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: then after that, like, what am I going to do?
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: So I started getting like temp jobs.
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: So that's what I was doing. Yeah, because it was
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: easy to quit.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: So was Gabe like the first guy to kind of
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: take you under his wing?
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. He was the first guy, man.
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: So automatically, he means a lot to you.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he does. He does. He's given me a lot.
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: He gave me a lot of opportunity. He let me
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: stay at his house for a long time, man. I
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: didn't have anything, bro.
- 1:27:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: He's a good dude, man.
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: Super nice.
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: Yeah. What you see is what he is. Just an
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: authentic dude.
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: I was in a row with him for like 13 years,
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: 12 years. And I bought him a car, bro.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: I heard this, whether this is true or not, I
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: have no idea. How are you a vegetarian when you're
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: hanging out with Gabriel?
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: That was one of the hardest things ever, bro.
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: We went to his last birthday party. And just the amount,
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: I mean, dude, I don't even know what vegetarians did there.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. We eat a lot of chips.
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:28:08Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: And a lot of corn that he has. How do
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: you do that, though? Bro, I started eating chicken now
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: because I started getting a lot of bald spots in
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: the back of my head from not having protein. Oh, really?
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: So I just eat chicken now. So what's the story
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: with the hat? Is it because of the bald spots?
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Oh, no, no.
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: Because that's kind of become your thing, right?
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. You know what? I always, like my grandpa
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: always wore a hat and my dad wore a hat
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: and his side of the family. Where we're from in
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: Mexico is northern Mexico and everybody has hats and everybody
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: wears boots over there, bro.
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: Yeah, because you can pull it off. Not everybody can
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: pull off the hat.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: No.
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: People with little hats shouldn't wear hats. Yeah, I got
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: a big ass head, bro. So it's perfect.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: See, I got a big ass head, too.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: No, you look good. You look good. It's perfect for you.
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: No, this hat looks fine. I'm saying, like, if I
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: wore your hat, it would look goofy. Nah, you'll be fine, bro.
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Trust me, bro. I'd like to see that. Not to
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: mention Woody wearing a cowboy hat.
- 1:28:59Speaker 8: Yeah, I'd like to see that a lot.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: Bro, I'll take it off right now, bro. Put it on, bro.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Put it on.
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: Put it on.
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: Is that just because, I don't know, you're kind of
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: just drawn to it?
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, I wore one when I started doing comedy,
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: and I was like, man, I don't know. And then
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: I stopped wearing it, and I brought it back, and
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: it all lined up so good. Yeah. the first thing
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: I ever did was I did his podcast and I
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: told him, man, this is, yeah, I did this podcast.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: I go, Hey, this is the first time I'm wearing
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: this ad on anything.
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm deciding to wear a hat now. He was like,
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: Oh dude, go for.
- 1:29:34Speaker 11: It, bro.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: It was huge.
- 1:29:36Speaker 8: How many hats do you have?
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Right now I have four hats. Okay. Yeah, because I
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: get drunk at the end of the show and then
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: I give them away.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: I was curious, what kind of, I was like, to
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: ask comedians this question, like what kind of kid were you?
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: Were you a troublemaker, class clown?
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: Oh, I was a troublemaker, bro. I was kind of
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: like a class clown too. But more of a, I
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: was a tagger here and there.
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going the bad route for a while.
- 1:29:58Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: But my mom was a lot to me, man. She
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: helped me out a lot and she tried to like, Hey,
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: you're going the bad route. She used to try to
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: scare me. I'm going to send you to Mexico. I'm
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: going to do this to you. Yeah, yeah. And what
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: did she do? Did she ever send you off anywhere?
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: She sent me to Mexico. Oh, she did?
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: She did.
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: I was a junior and I was a sophomore in
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: high school and she sent me to Mexico, bro. Yeah?
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: I was there for six months.
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: Doing what?
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: Going to school over there. But who were you with?
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: With my grandparents.
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: Oh, grandparents.
- 1:30:23Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: She sent me over there and she was like, you're
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: never going to come back.
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: And I believed her, bro.
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: Every night I cried, bro.
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: That'll teach you.
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: Oh, Menace showed me this picture. I think it's funny. Now, Greg,
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: this is an old picture of you. This is a
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: picture of him doing something that you would never do.
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: That I would never do. All right. Oh, look at that.
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: He's at the grocery store buying a ton of toilet paper.
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: This is clearly Costco. Look at those quantities.
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: Look at the size of that cart.
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:30:55Speaker 5: You're a brave man.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: You're like a hero. Okay, just by looking at that picture,
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: who was I with?
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: Who were you with? Let's see. I see toilet paper,
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: and I think I saw- I have a guess. A dock.
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: There's an iPod dock or whatever, kind of clock thing.
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: Looked like donuts, maybe?
- 1:31:12Speaker 4: No, that's Premier Protein Drinks.
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: Premier Protein Drinks.
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: Who were you with? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: Does Gabriel do that?
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: I was with Gabriel. That was going to be my guess.
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: That's a lot of toilet paper.
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: For the premier protein, I wouldn't really take Gabe as
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: a premier protein.
- 1:31:27Speaker 3: No, that's where a vegetarian gets their protein.
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: Gabriel was, there was a time where he was lifting
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: a lot. Oh, really?
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: Gabriel's a strong guy.
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: Yeah, because he used to.
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: Did you do that workout show that we had with him?
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, with him.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. What was it called again? It was Fluffy
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: Breaks Even. Yeah, I remember that, dude.
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: Yeah, it was the thing where they just went hammer
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: and ate a bunch of food and the next day
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: they had to work it off.
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: Yeah, because they always say like, all right, well, if
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: you eat a Big Mac... It's going to, you have
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: to run for.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: And that was the idea.
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: I'll eat the food and then I'll spit it out, bro.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:32:00Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: You started to say earlier, you bought fluffy a car.
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: I bought him a car, bro. So this is, you
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: bought him a car.
- 1:32:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: I bought him a car.
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: Damn.
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: The funniest thing, bro. He's a car. So I bought
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: him a Volkswagen. It's the, it kind of looked like
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: the Safari cars. The thing.
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: So I bought him that car. I was saving up.
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: Cause I wanted to, that was my like, Hey, I'm
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: going to go, I'm going to go out on my own.
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: After the Dodgers stadium show, I bought him the car.
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: I'm like, after the Dodgers stadium show, I'm going to
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: give him the car. I'm going to tell him, hey,
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: thank you for everything. But I'm going to try this
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: on my own now. You've done enough for me. So
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: I bought him the car and then had a gut
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: feeling like, ah, don't go yet. It's not time to
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: go yet. Just stick around a little bit longer. But
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: I had the car. So I called him, like, are
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: you going to be home? I got something for you.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: He was all like, yeah. So I went and I
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: took him the car. And he was like, hey, thank you,
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: but what is this for? I'm like, ah, just, here
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: you go, bro. I had a perfect story, bro. I'm like, hey, man,
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: thank you, and then this and that. So after when
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: I left, I told him, hey, bro, remember when I
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: bought you that car? And I go, that was the
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: gift I was going to give you to tell you
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: thank you for everything, but I'm going to go out
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: on my own now.
- 1:33:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: Well, dude, you're making it work. I see a ton
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: about you on social media.
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: Sold out shows.
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: Yeah, sold out shows. Vatos with Gatos. The tour is
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: just selling out venues across the country, internationally. LOL Live
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: on Hulu. Out tomorrow at Alfa Robles on Netflix.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: Social media. Let's go.
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: Now, Tim Martinez is already in Vegas. The iHeartRadio Music
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: Festival is happening this weekend in Vegas. So he's not
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: able to be here. Originally, we were going to have
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: Tim here for Alfred's visit.
- 1:33:36Speaker 5: Sure. Perfect.
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: And just to get to play along with the questions
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: that we have for T.O.
- 1:33:41Speaker 17: Tim.
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: But because Tim can't be here, we have a substitute
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: to substitute.
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: So. So Alfred's going to answer the questions coming up next.
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: Then we'll go up in the club here on this
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: throwback Thursday. It is the Woody show. We'll be right back.
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: The Woody show.
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: Will be right back.
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: Refreshing.
- 1:34:01Speaker 5: It has a good throat burn. Oh, my God.
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: The Woody show is back. Well, we're into another new
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: hour and our.
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: Guest in studio, comedian Alfred Robles is here. LOL live
- 1:34:14Speaker 4: on Hulu out tomorrow at Alfred Robles on social media.
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: And he's currently out on his Vatos with Gatos tour.
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: As we, as we chatted about already, but yeah. So
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: Tim Martinez, DJ Timar, not able to be, the original
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: goal was to have Timar and Alfred here together. That'd
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: be great. Then we can get a really good, deep
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: education from, from both of these gentlemen. But yeah, Tim
- 1:34:44Speaker 4: is busy. He's working the iHeartRadio Music Festival, so he
- 1:34:47Speaker 4: can't be here. And so Alfred's going to be the end-all,
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: be-all with the questions for this week's round of Ask T.O.
- 1:34:53Speaker 7: Tim.
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: But it's Ask T.O. Alfred today.
- 1:34:56Speaker 4: All right, so we'll get the question from Jeff G.
- 1:34:59Speaker 11: Here.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: And then the dumb white people get to take a
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: guess as to what we think the answer might be.
- 1:35:04Speaker 4: And then, Alfred, you get to give us your definitive answer.
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:35:08Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: And we'll, as always, just write our answers on.
- 1:35:12Speaker 3: The board.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: All right, Jeff G., first question. What do you got?
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: All right, question number one.
- 1:35:17Speaker 15: What is a Mexican word or phrase that white people
- 1:35:21Speaker 15: always mispronounce?
- 1:35:22Speaker 5: It could be a food.
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: It could be a part of the language. It could
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: be an item.
- 1:35:27Speaker 15: What's a Mexican word or phrase that white people always mispronounce?
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: Got it.
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: I can't spell it. It's going to be like a menispelling, man.
- 1:35:38Speaker 5: Oh, well. We'll understand.
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: Well, I'll say it.
- 1:35:42Speaker 5: Yes, you'll say the word.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: I'll say the word. I got mine written down.
- 1:35:46Speaker 8: I got mine.
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: For me personally, and this is not my answer, but...
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: But what you think.
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: I'm saying my answer personally, the one I can... I
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: always get corrected.
- 1:35:56Speaker 8: He's not going what white people do. He's going what
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: I do.
- 1:35:58Speaker 5: Got it.
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: So the beer with the tomato and the.
- 1:36:02Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: The michelada. Was it michelada?
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:36:06Speaker 5: Michelada. Michelada.
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: And we used to go to the michelada festival.
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: Rumble, yeah.
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: Yeah, all right. We'll start with you, Greg Gorey. What'd
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: you write?
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: I put something that I know... Almost everybody mispronounces. Tijuana.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: Tijuana.
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: People say Tijuana. Yeah, that's a good one.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: Just say TJ.
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: Yeah, you can do that. That works.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: Just say TJ.
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: TJ. That works.
- 1:36:30Speaker 4: All right, Gina Grad.
- 1:36:32Speaker 14: I've heard people say this. I am from Kansas. It's
- 1:36:34Speaker 14: very disappointing and embarrassing.
- 1:36:36Speaker 8: A quesadilla.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: You've actually heard people say that, like, for real?
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:36:43Speaker 4: I mean, I've heard it as a joke.
- 1:36:44Speaker 8: Quesadilla, I've heard it ordered at restaurants many times.
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: I believe that in Kansas. Yeah, I know a lot
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: of unfunny white people that try to say it.
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: All right, Sammy, what'd you put?
- 1:36:54Speaker 10: Okay, I put, because I have heard this pronounced to patio.
- 1:36:58Speaker 8: Which is Tapatio.
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: Tapatio.
- 1:37:01Speaker 13: Tapatio.
- 1:37:04Speaker 4: I've never heard that.
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: All right. Menace. Carnitas.
- 1:37:12Speaker 5: Carnita.
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: As opposed to what? Carnitas.
- 1:37:15Speaker 4: We always love how Menace spells. Now, I'll tell you,
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: my spelling is terrible on this one. But how do
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: you write Carnitas?
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: Cart-neet-ass. Carnet-ass. Yeah.
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: Carnet-ass.
- 1:37:27Speaker 5: Carnitas. All right.
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: So Chihuahua.
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: Chihuahua.
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: Because I hear that, you know, because.
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: So say it. Say it how you would say it.
- 1:37:39Speaker 5: Chihuahua.
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: Yeah, see, there's more like a, I don't know, like a,
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: it's not, people go, it's not.
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: Wawa. A chihuahua.
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: Yeah, a chihuahua. A chihuahua.
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: Yeah, there's like a.
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: But the I sounds like E, chihuahua.
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: Right, yeah, there's more like a, there's more like an
- 1:37:52Speaker 4: emphasis on the.
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: Is that what you wrote down, Wood?
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I wrote down.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: Oh, you spelled it out? Oh, wait.
- 1:37:57Speaker 4: No, I don't think it's. There's no way that's right.
- 1:37:59Speaker 5: You got it very close.
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: I did?
- 1:38:01Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:38:01Speaker 4: It looks completely wrong to me.
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: In real life, it's C-H-I-H-U-A-H-U-A.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: I would have put a W somewhere, bro.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: But you were super close.
- 1:38:10Speaker 4: Dude, I thought this was butchered for sure.
- 1:38:12Speaker 8: Or anything that starts with an H, like paramano.
- 1:38:15Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: That's a good one. Yeah.
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: All right, Jeff G. I kept it really simple.
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: Gracias. Gracias. Gracias.
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: Gracias, amigo.
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: Gracias. Yeah.
- 1:38:26Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:38:27Speaker 4: All right, Alfred Robles.
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: Chilaquiles.
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: Oh! Chilaquiles.
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: Chilaquiles. Chilaquiles. Yes, I heard chilaquiles.
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: Chilaquiles.
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: They butcher everything, bro.
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: That is my favorite. Oh, so good.
- 1:38:42Speaker 8: Breakfast nachos.
- 1:38:43Speaker 5: What's wrong with that? So good.
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: Questions that normally are for T.O. Tim, it's for T.O.
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: Alfred today. Question number two, Jeff G.
- 1:38:51Speaker 15: All right, Alfred, who has the most power in a
- 1:38:54Speaker 15: Latino family? Is it dad, mom, or abuela?
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: That's grandma. Who has the most power in a Latino family? Dad, mom,
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: or abuela? Can I ask a question for clarity?
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: Is everybody there? Is it like a family function?
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just say everyone lives together. Yeah, the power ranking.
- 1:39:10Speaker 5: Who's running the show?
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: Okay. Are we going to power rank them or just
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: give them the one answer? I mean, it's up to
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: you guys. Who has the most power? Who has the
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: most power?
- 1:39:17Speaker 4: Most power?
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: Who runs the show in that household?
- 1:39:19Speaker 5: They're all there at the same time.
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: Okay. All right, I got it.
- 1:39:22Speaker 8: Ooh, this is tough.
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: Okay, okay.
- 1:39:25Speaker 4: Whose house are they living at?
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: No more questions. Let's say the sun. Let's say the sun. Yeah.
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: Let's say the sun.
- 1:39:31Speaker 4: Menace, we'll start with you.
- 1:39:31Speaker 6: I'm going with mom... Grandma, then dad.
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:39:37Speaker 8: The mom.
- 1:39:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have said the same. I didn't do
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: the whole power ranking. I just put mom. Mom would
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: have the most power.
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I second that with mom.
- 1:39:47Speaker 14: See, I thought it's all about the matriarch and the
- 1:39:51Speaker 14: oldest is best.
- 1:39:52Speaker 8: I put abuela.
- 1:39:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: Yeah, but the power, though.
- 1:39:55Speaker 8: Especially if it's dad's mom. But I think there's some other-
- 1:39:57Speaker 8: Calling shots.
- 1:39:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: But I think decisions get made by mom.
- 1:40:02Speaker 5: Right. Yeah.
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: There's ultimate respect for grandma. But I think dad's more
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: than just the disciplinarian.
- 1:40:08Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:40:08Speaker 4: Like the mom will because the mom will make the
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: rules and she will decide that you're in trouble. But
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: the muscle is dad.
- 1:40:16Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:40:16Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:40:17Speaker 8: But I thought grandma was like the one that gives
- 1:40:19Speaker 8: the mob nod. You know, they can get it done.
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: I mean, you want approval.
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:40:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:40:25Speaker 4: Greg, what'd you put?
- 1:40:25Speaker 5: I had mom. Mom. OK, that's right.
- 1:40:27Speaker 8: I'm with Gina Abuela all day.
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: I have abuela too, and here's my reason why, right?
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: It's because if it's her son's house, that's two versus one.
- 1:40:36Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: So that's the way I looked at it.
- 1:40:39Speaker 15: It's the grandma and the son, and then the mom
- 1:40:43Speaker 15: is outnumbered.
- 1:40:43Speaker 3: So that's why I would say abuela. I didn't think
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: about that.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: Alfred Robles.
- 1:40:47Speaker 3: I picked mom.
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: Mom.
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: For the reason being is that we don't have a dad.
- 1:40:51Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:40:53Speaker 3: And the grandma is always in the motherland.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: So it's always mom.
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: Fair enough, fair enough. Always mom. That's right. That's facts.
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: All right. Can't argue with that.
- 1:41:06Speaker 4: Let's assume everybody was in the same house.
- 1:41:09Speaker 3: Mom still. Still mom? Hell yeah. Okay. All right. The
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: dad can't say anything in a Mexican household.
- 1:41:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: The dad has a lot of secrets. Mom doesn't want
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: to expose the dad, so it's always the mom. The
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: dad's going to be like, oh, no, you tell him.
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: Jeff had mentioned something to me, because your dad really
- 1:41:27Speaker 4: wasn't around, right?
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: No, my dad wasn't around.
- 1:41:28Speaker 4: But you ran into him later in life? Yes.
- 1:41:30Speaker 5: Is that weird?
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: It was uncomfortable as hell.
- 1:41:32Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:41:32Speaker 4: Where was it? It was a gas station. A gas station? What?
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: This is a funny story, man. I used to have
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: the shirt that I used to love. It was kind
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: of like that salmon color. I used to wear it
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: all the time. It was my dress-up shirt. And I
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: went to the gas station and my dad was wearing
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: the same color shirt.
- 1:41:51Speaker 11: What?
- 1:41:53Speaker 5: How long had it been since you had seen him?
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: Since I'd seen him, maybe like 11 years or something.
- 1:41:56Speaker 8: Did you recognize him right away?
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: I did.
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: I did. I recognized him right away. So now I
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: knew we have the same taste. And now I had
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: to help him because he was having problems with the
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: ATM machine inside the gas station.
- 1:42:07Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:42:07Speaker 4: So then what happened? So you see him there.
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: I helped him out.
- 1:42:10Speaker 4: You helped him out.
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: And then what?
- 1:42:11Speaker 4: What happened after that?
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: I said, all right, later, bro. And I just left.
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: That was it? That was it. I didn't want to know. Really?
- 1:42:16Speaker 8: He wasn't like, by the way, I'm sorry, mijo.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: No, no, nothing. Nothing. He saw me. I saw him.
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: He called me over and he said, can you help me?
- 1:42:25Speaker 4: Like how long ago was this?
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: This was like in 2016. Okay.
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: So, I mean, you were already doing the comedy thing.
- 1:42:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I was already doing the comedy.
- 1:42:32Speaker 3: Did he know who you were? Yeah, I was his son. No,
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: I know. I'm saying, like, I don't know.
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: Like, we say he wasn't around. I'm saying, like, I
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: don't know, like, how much he knew about your life.
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: Did he know you were out there doing comedy?
- 1:42:42Speaker 3: I don't know how much he knew, but he knew.
- 1:42:44Speaker 4: I know he knows.
- 1:42:48Speaker 5: Yeah, he didn't have amnesia.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: And it was weird, bro. I was like, it was
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: too much for me. I'm like, I just got to go, man. Yeah.
- 1:42:58Speaker 4: I mean, the shirt wasn't too much. Oh, it was.
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: I'm like, we like the same thing. That's so trippy.
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: That is weird how that happens, man.
- 1:43:05Speaker 5: Adagastish.
- 1:43:07Speaker 4: When I say my dad wasn't around, we lived in
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: two different places. So I saw him once a year
- 1:43:11Speaker 4: for like three weeks every summer. Every summer break from school.
- 1:43:16Speaker 4: Now as an adult, that was my entire from three
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: years old until I graduated high school. It's really weird
- 1:43:22Speaker 4: how similar my dad.
- 1:43:24Speaker 5: And I are.
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: From not growing up in the same house, it's really weird.
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: Whether it's like sense of humor, the way that we speak,
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: all these different things. You would think like, you know,
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: being around somebody, you'd get that. You'd end up with
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: the same salmon color shirt.
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: The saddest thing my dad ever told me, bro, is
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: that he said he never had friends. He started working
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: when he was nine. So he said, I wish I
- 1:43:47Speaker 3: had friends.
- 1:43:48Speaker 5: What do you do?
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: Well, he passed away, but he used to like, he
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: had his own tire shop. So he worked with tires
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: his whole life. So since he was nine, his parents
- 1:43:56Speaker 3: put him, put him to work. Yeah. So he never
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: went to school, bro.
- 1:43:59Speaker 8: Oh, damn.
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: All of his friends were like older men.
- 1:44:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: And he told me, he broke down and he said, yeah,
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: they were coworkers. He goes, I wish I had friends.
- 1:44:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: Wasn't there beef over that tire shop though? Yeah, bro.
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: He promised it to my, to my brother, my older brother.
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: And my brother worked at them his whole life since
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: high school, man. My brother was going to, going to
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: work in the morning and then going to school right after. And, uh,
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: My dad sold it. He promised it to my brother
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: and he sold it. And the funniest thing my brother's
- 1:44:24Speaker 3: ever done, because one of my brothers, he's not funny whatsoever.
- 1:44:27Speaker 6: I text him, hey, your dad died.
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: And he just gave me thumbs up. Oh, wow.
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: Oh, hey, let me ask you that question.
- 1:44:36Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:44:36Speaker 4: So we've talked about this forever, right?
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: And you're like, hey man, your dad died. You have
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: the same dad. That's something that goes on.
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: My mom, my dad.
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: You'll be talking to your sibling and you'll say, my mom.
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: And they'll say, oh, my dad. You guys have the
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: same parents. What is that about?
- 1:44:53Speaker 3: I have no idea. It's always your mom, your dad,
- 1:44:55Speaker 3: your aunt, your grandma. But it's never your girlfriend. It's
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: always my girlfriend.
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: It's not our dad our mom no it's always your
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: but you don't know why there's not like some kind
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: of like weird like not competition but like some kind
- 1:45:08Speaker 4: of I don't know like dynamic at least that's what
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: we've been told I've not got a real straight answer
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: on that.
- 1:45:14Speaker 15: For me it's sarcasm because when there's something wrong it's
- 1:45:16Speaker 15: like that's your dad you know what I mean it's
- 1:45:18Speaker 15: your mom so.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: Why people don't do this?
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: No.
- 1:45:22Speaker 8: No, they do it with kids. Like, guess what? Your
- 1:45:23Speaker 8: son did. That's different.
- 1:45:26Speaker 5: I had a theory that I thought was kind of good.
- 1:45:28Speaker 5: I think Jeff agreed. The literal translation of, like, my mom, like,
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: me mama, you're just translating it to English and saying
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: my mom.
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: But you wouldn't say mi mamá, you'd say tu papá.
- 1:45:40Speaker 3: Oh no, tu papá is your dad.
- 1:45:42Speaker 5: That's my theory.
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: I mean, that makes sense.
- 1:45:45Speaker 6: Woody, I thought you were going into, is the thumb
- 1:45:47Speaker 6: aggressive in text?
- 1:45:49Speaker 3: Especially for that, yes. In that context, yes. And he
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: never wrote anything after that.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: Talk about sensitive-ass people, Mal. You know, the thumbs-up emoji
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: is aggressive?
- 1:46:03Speaker 8: Passive aggressive nah dude 100%.
- 1:46:05Speaker 4: Nah that just means alright cool Woody's the only one
- 1:46:08Speaker 4: that doesn't believe it I.
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: Don't believe it either I don't either no but for
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: that it was kind of weird but for that.
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: Yeah you know what it's all in context if somebody
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: said hey.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: Man we still good for 5 o'clock can you give
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: a thumbs up.
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: Back that means yeah.
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: There's nothing aggressive about that I would part that hey
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: man your dad just died thumbs up that's aggressive there
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: you go cool you know what I'm saying alright Alfred
- 1:46:31Speaker 4: Robes is here He's fully filling in for DJ Tim
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: Martinez today, not only on the T.O. Tim questions, which,
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: by the way, if you have a question for a
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: future round, I know you guys got questions. You can
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: send them over on the text over to 22987 or
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: send it on the email, email at thewoodyshow.com. But we're
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: going to take the break. It's Throwback Thursday. We'll go
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: up in the club. And you've been briefed on that,
- 1:46:54Speaker 4: so you get to pick a song that we'll go
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: up in the club with.
- 1:46:58Speaker 3: That will be next.
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: Alfred Robles is here. Woody. Woody.
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: Alfred Robles is here.
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: LOL live on Hulu, which is out tomorrow officially at
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: Alfred Robles on social media and then alfredrobles.com. Keep an
- 1:47:17Speaker 4: eye on the website. You said you got a show
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: coming up. We don't have the date exactly yet.
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: At the beginning of the year, it's going to be
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: at the Orpheum Theater.
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: Oh, hell yeah.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: This is going to be my biggest show in LA ever, man.
- 1:47:27Speaker 5: That's great.
- 1:47:29Speaker 4: Oh, hey, I also heard that you're a fan of
- 1:47:32Speaker 4: Cartnarks on social media.
- 1:47:34Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:47:35Speaker 4: You know the guy that goes around and tells people
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: to put their carts back at the corral when they don't. Well,
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: I would like you to meet Agent Sebastian of the Cartnarks.
- 1:47:45Speaker 6: Oh, bro!
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: Yes!
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: It's him right there. Skeetily weep, weep, whoop, whoop.
- 1:47:52Speaker 8: Yeah, you're like manager or whoever hit up the person
- 1:47:54Speaker 8: I used to make contact with you folks and said
- 1:47:56Speaker 8: that you might be interested in coming out.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: No, I'm in, bro. I'm in, dog. All right.
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: You want to do some cartnarking?
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. A special agent of the cartnarks?
- 1:48:03Speaker 8: I would like to use your special talents and abilities.
- 1:48:07Speaker 8: So if this is okay, when calendars work out, if
- 1:48:11Speaker 8: you and I could head out to East L.A. and
- 1:48:15Speaker 8: hit some of the shopping centers up there, so maybe
- 1:48:17Speaker 8: if there's any kind of cultural or language barrier.
- 1:48:21Speaker 3: You can smooth things out.
- 1:48:22Speaker 8: Because I've got it down, because I've gotten it where
- 1:48:25Speaker 8: I know no English, and I just go,¿ Por qué
- 1:48:27Speaker 8: es el carrito aquí y no allí?
- 1:48:29Speaker 3: And I can say that, but then when it comes
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: back at me, I'm.
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: Like, you don't know what the answer is. I don't know.
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: Dude, there'll be Cartnarks and Cartnarkos. Los Cartnarkos de Cartos.
- 1:48:41Speaker 5: That would be awesome.
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: Yeah, because I heard you were a fan of Cartnarks.
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: We wanted to surprise you with that.
- 1:48:47Speaker 4: I kept looking at him.
- 1:48:48Speaker 3: I'm like, is that this guy right here?
- 1:48:50Speaker 8: Some say that Greg didn't want Cartnarks to even begin.
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: Is that the truth? Not that I came up with
- 1:48:56Speaker 5: the idea completely.
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: But then I saw you take it to other states now. Oh, yeah.
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: He goes everywhere.
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: International.
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: Different countries.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: Speaking of which, I was in Ibiza with it. Oh, nice.
- 1:49:06Speaker 8: Yeah, which also was a problem. But yeah, it'd be
- 1:49:09Speaker 8: nice to have you as a local Sherpa.
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:49:12Speaker 3: I'll be in, bro. All right. Yeah, we'll work it out.
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: That would be a blast.
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: Yeah, Seamass is a producer here on the show.
- 1:49:18Speaker 5: Dude, I'm excited, bro.
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: And I found out you were a part of it.
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: I was like, oh, we'll surprise Alfred with... with an
- 1:49:22Speaker 4: Agent Sebastian sighting.
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Deputy Alfred.
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: It's so funny, man. Like, we had that, there was
- 1:49:28Speaker 4: that pastor that we were talking about.
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: That- Oh, Oz, yeah.
- 1:49:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that, well, yeah, he's a questionable character.
- 1:49:35Speaker 8: Yeah, we thought we liked him.
- 1:49:36Speaker 3: But he does like Cartnarks.
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: But it's just interesting, like, Cartnarks is being brought up in, like,
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: church sermons and stuff. So many places.
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: It's so weird.
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: And, yeah, the Dr.
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: Phil episode about Cartnarks. The principles are out there.
- 1:49:47Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:49:47Speaker 3: Didn't you call, like, an ex-Rams player one time? He was, like, a- Oh, yeah.
- 1:49:51Speaker 8: That was a guy who claimed he was a former
- 1:49:55Speaker 8: football player for the Rams. And the follow-up was that
- 1:49:59Speaker 8: he worked in the ticketing staff in like 1982.
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: But you know, because he said, I'll beat your ass.
- 1:50:07Speaker 3: I'm a former NFL player. I play for the Rams.
- 1:50:09Speaker 8: You know, that's like, he's been using that for decades.
- 1:50:12Speaker 8: So like get dates and get, get bar tabs and stuff.
- 1:50:14Speaker 8: So like, You just don't make that up off the
- 1:50:16Speaker 8: top of your head when you run into the cart knocks.
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: No, no.
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: It's like the guy that just got busted pretending to
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: be a 49ers player.
- 1:50:21Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
- 1:50:23Speaker 8: So this guy, he had probably some Rams knowledge and
- 1:50:25Speaker 8: he knew that people can't look him up and blah, blah, blah.
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: Was he wearing a Rams helmet?
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: Like the 49ers guy? On Tinder.
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:50:32Speaker 5: Bringing it everywhere. Running around.
- 1:50:33Speaker 9: Nice.
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: All right, Alfred Robles is here. He's fully filling in
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: for Tim Martinez today, DJ T-Mar, who normally gets to
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: pick what song we go up in the club with
- 1:50:42Speaker 4: here on a throwback Thursday. I mean, the world is
- 1:50:45Speaker 4: his oyster. He gets to pick anything that he wanted.
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: One of the first songs he threw out was Flow
- 1:50:51Speaker 4: Rider Low, which we just did. We did, very recently.
- 1:50:54Speaker 4: So you guys are already, I can tell, you and
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: Tim are already on the same wavelength, man. You guys
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: are vibing. So we got to go with Plan B.
- 1:51:01Speaker 4: Plan B, up in the club is what?
- 1:51:03Speaker 3: Raw bass. Yeah. It takes two, baby. All right, here
- 1:51:05Speaker 3: we go. The Woody Show. Throwback Thursday.
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: What?
- 1:51:09Speaker 3: Up in the club.
- 1:51:09Speaker 7: Hit it.
- 1:51:09Speaker 3: All right, up in the club.
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: Rob Bates, DJ EZ Rock.
- 1:51:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:51:14Speaker 3: It Takes Two.
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: Man, I want to say, was it 89?
- 1:51:19Speaker 7: 88?
- 1:51:19Speaker 3: It was 1988?
- 1:51:20Speaker 4: All right, because I'm a dude. Middle school dance. I
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: remember the middle school dance. It was like that and Technotronic,
- 1:51:26Speaker 4: Pump Up the Jam.
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: Oh, hell yeah.
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: It was all kind of the same. So why that song?
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: Well, that was the first song I ever danced to. Really?
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: It was a dance at school. I think it was

- 1:52:29Speaker 8: Yeah, we asked a lot of you.
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: Thank you guys, man. It went by fast, so that's

- 1:52:33Speaker 4: Dude, thank you again for coming in. We appreciate it.
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: It's nice to have you in. First Timers Club. Alfred Brodweiss, everybody.
- 1:52:43Speaker 4: It's the Woody Show. Cops in Georgia, they're on the lookout.
- 1:52:48Speaker 4: This family says that somebody trespassed onto their property, used
- 1:52:51Speaker 4: their pool without permission. The security video from the house
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: shows this guy going in the backyard, taking a dip
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: in the pool, and then moving to the hot tub. Eventually,
- 1:53:01Speaker 4: he gets fixated on this rubber duck that he found.
- 1:53:03Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: Was this guy special? That the guy was then, quote,
- 1:53:08Speaker 4: intensely interacting with... With the duck for over 10 minutes.
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: So he's banging this thing. Hard to resist. After he
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: finished with that, the guy stole a bunch of towels
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: and then took off on his bike. That's when you
- 1:53:20Speaker 4: know someone's off no good.
- 1:53:22Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: Yeah, the towels.
- 1:53:24Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: Taking off on a bike.
- 1:53:25Speaker 5: Yeah. After banging a rubber ducky. Yeah.
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: They're on the lookout for this guy, but so far,
- 1:53:30Speaker 4: no leads.
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: Somebody better cotton swab the duck.
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: Yeah. Time for a new one.
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: Yeah, get the rape kit out and check that duck.
- 1:53:39Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: Dude, people are weird, man.
- 1:53:41Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: And those are the people that should go to the island.
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: That we want to build. Yep.
- 1:53:46Speaker 5: Well, that already exists. That's just not being put to use.
- 1:53:49Speaker 8: Yeah, not being put to good use.
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: CBass, I meant to ask you, what's your take on
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: the whole Sidney Sweeney controversy.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: I think your girl isn't this like the 15th controversy
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: with her this.
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: One seems to have a little bit more momentum yeah
- 1:54:01Speaker 4: Jeff I.
- 1:54:02Speaker 8: Don't know that good jeans one was pretty bad.
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: Yeah we were talking about it's like man this one
- 1:54:05Speaker 4: like there's plenty of things that people give her crap
- 1:54:07Speaker 4: for but.
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: It's just weird that she does ads and then people
- 1:54:10Speaker 6: comment about.
- 1:54:11Speaker 3: It what are they giving her crap for looking hot
- 1:54:13Speaker 3: and advertising products.
- 1:54:14Speaker 8: And also she's not saying anything about women's sports.
- 1:54:17Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:54:18Speaker 3: It's being marketed to dudes who gamble.
- 1:54:21Speaker 8: Yeah, it's degenerate gamblers.
- 1:54:23Speaker 4: For some reason, we're talking about a creep like banging
- 1:54:26Speaker 4: a rubber duck in someone's backyard. And then it immediately
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: made me think of Seabass and Sydney Sweetening.
- 1:54:30Speaker 8: That makes sense.
- 1:54:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a weird association going on in my brain.
- 1:54:33Speaker 8: It totally makes logical sense. It's a comedy instinct you
- 1:54:37Speaker 8: should be following.
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: Totally. And I think you're really killing it. I think
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: that's the test really high in the market out there.
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: Have you been working with Menace on the deflection?
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: It's pretty good.
- 1:54:49Speaker 3: That's pretty good.
- 1:54:52Speaker 4: The way that Seabass talks about Sidney Sweeney just seems
- 1:54:56Speaker 4: to have this infatuation with her.
- 1:54:57Speaker 8: Infatuation with the hottest girl on the planet, yes.
- 1:55:00Speaker 4: Hottest girl in the planet?
- 1:55:03Speaker 6: Is she not the it girl slash the Marilyn Monroe?
- 1:55:06Speaker 6: You're taking out of context. You're thinking that he's talking
- 1:55:10Speaker 6: about looks. He's just talking about the most discussed woman. Literally,
- 1:55:15Speaker 6: she's what Megan Fox was 10, 12 years ago. That's
- 1:55:18Speaker 6: her position in society.
- 1:55:20Speaker 8: You don't mean hot like you find her the most attractive.
- 1:55:22Speaker 8: You mean the most talked about cute girl.
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: Exactly. She's what Cindy Crawford was in the 80s. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: There's always one of these women out there and she's it.
- 1:55:30Speaker 4: Yeah, Menace's girl is single again.
- 1:55:34Speaker 5: Lori Loughlin. Oh, yeah.
- 1:55:37Speaker 3: She in the building.
- 1:55:37Speaker 4: Well, because my wife is convinced that that dude's been gay.
- 1:55:41Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:55:42Speaker 4: Forever. Oh, I see that.
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: Just because he's the clothing designer?
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: Wow, there's so many excuses.
- 1:55:49Speaker 5: Being thrown at me. Wow, that is a vague generalization.
- 1:55:51Speaker 3: It's just a question.
- 1:55:52Speaker 10: Right, they're divorced because he's gay, not because she went
- 1:55:54Speaker 10: to jail for fraud that he had nothing to do with.
- 1:55:57Speaker 4: I feel like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix dodging all
- 1:55:59Speaker 4: these examples.
- 1:56:00Speaker 8: Backward slow motion. It sounds like reasonable explanations to me.
- 1:56:08Speaker 3: All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
