Gypsy Rose's Doctor Suspected Dee Dee Blanchard in 2007 and Made THIS Choice
A growing crowd online says Gypsy Rose Blanchard invented the Munchausen story to beat a murder charge. The medical file says otherwise. In 2001, Tulane tested Gypsy for muscular dystrophy — the biopsy came back negative, and Dee Dee went to another doctor. In 2007, neurologist Bernardo Flasterstein watched Gypsy stand on her own and wrote “Munchausen by proxy” in her chart. He never reported it.
