Transcript
- 0:15Hello and welcome to Arguing Ever After.
- 0:18I am Luke and this is my 10 out of 10 wife Amber.
- 0:23Hi. Together we are the Lord and
- 0:26Lady who lock horns. The count and Countess of
- 0:29contention. The Duke and Duchess of
- 0:31Disagreement. And the king and queen of
- 0:34quarrels. We have been together since
- 0:36Backstreet was back, all right? We've argued about almost
- 0:40everything and we're still together and we still like each
- 0:43other. In this entertainment only
- 0:45podcast, we will bicker about all things big and small and the
- 0:49audience has the final say on who the winner is.
- 0:52We do not claim to be relationship experts by any
- 0:56means. We'll debate lots of things,
- 0:58many of which are submitted by our listeners.
- 1:00So if you have a topic you want us non professionals to battle
- 1:03over before you try it at home, send it to us at
- 1:06arguingeverafter@gmail.com. Perhaps this perhaps this
- 1:10completely unscientific method of letting the masses decide who
- 1:14the winner is can help solve your argument before you even
- 1:18have it. So here we are at episode 8. 8.
- 1:268 We're getting off track because that's a big number.
- 1:29That's a really big #8. Technically it's a secret.
- 1:34There's another two episodes, but those are secret episodes.
- 1:38Well. They're just sitting there
- 1:40waiting for when we need to put them out there.
- 1:44But yeah, 8 is a big number. It's one of the areas where
- 1:48folks who are podcasters start to drop off.
- 1:51But we we don't plan on doing that anytime soon, I thought.
- 1:57That was 3. There's different metrics is.
- 2:01Metrics, Metrics. Matrices.
- 2:04Let's throw all the M words out there.
- 2:06There's different, yeah, it depends.
- 2:09Like there's different spots where people will drop off 3 is
- 2:12the big one and then eight and then so yeah, but each time for
- 2:17us it is a an accomplishment to. It's a win.
- 2:21We're winning, yeah. To beat what the low standards
- 2:26are. So yeah, yeah.
- 2:29And the other thing too, we were trying to do is we're watching
- 2:36where people are coming from. And that's been really fun.
- 2:39We've talked about it a lot, but we thought, you know, let's give
- 2:42a shout out to the new states that have joined listening in on
- 2:46our podcast. We're not half the country yet.
- 2:48We're. Not there, no, but I mean,
- 2:50climbing the ladder until we get there.
- 2:51I'm going to shout them out. And you know, if you haven't
- 2:54heard a state that you know somebody in, shoot them this
- 2:57podcast and say you might get a shout out.
- 2:59But yeah, the most recent three. Go ahead, Nebraska.
- 3:03Nebraska. Illinois.
- 3:05Illinois. And.
- 3:07Oregon with an S. Oregon's pretty far away.
- 3:10So is it? Oregon or Oregon because I know
- 3:12they get mad when you say the wrong one.
- 3:14You know what? Let us know.
- 3:16I think it's Oregon, no? Or Oregon.
- 3:19That's tough. I know it's not Illinois.
- 3:22It is not Illinois. But I have some some family that
- 3:25lives there and it's fun to joke with them.
- 3:28I think I know who that is and I'm very happy to have them
- 3:32listen. And so it's again, just most
- 3:36things it's fun looking at. And you know, once we get to all
- 3:4050, we'll probably stop then. But any new countries we'll.
- 3:45Start shouting out cities. Does it get that great it?
- 3:48Does it? Does so, but we're not.
- 3:51Oh no, that would be way too much.
- 3:52But like, you know, then we'll go to country.
- 3:54We'd be like, what's up, Cleveland?
- 3:59Yeah, yeah. But I feel like our biggest
- 4:01shout out will probably always be to our home state because
- 4:04they have such a high population of listeners currently.
- 4:08Currently, that's true. So, you know, if there's ever
- 4:12the great debate of what the best state is, let's have it be
- 4:16shown in our podcast. We could make a make a make a
- 4:19podcast about the best state I based on our very limited
- 4:22experience. Yes, I think, I think that could
- 4:24happen for sure. And.
- 4:27We could even separate it like best state to live and best
- 4:29state to vacation and best state to just drive through because I
- 4:32got a few. Here's a couple.
- 4:33There's a couple to drive through we're.
- 4:34Not going to say which ones though.
- 4:35No, that's no spoilers. Spoilers for.
- 4:38Fun. Who did we shout out our newest
- 4:40country? I think we did last week.
- 4:42Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:43OK. Did we?
- 4:44I don't remember, but we could do it again just because it's
- 4:46fun. Russia, Russia, what's up?
- 4:49Russia getting in on this? Yeah, yeah.
- 4:52I don't know. It's sort of surprising.
- 4:53How do you say what's hello? I don't know, It's like I don't
- 4:58want to insult anybody. I think it's previat.
- 5:01I think that's like saying what's up in Russian.
- 5:03I hope you're right and we're going to probably if he's wrong
- 5:06and he said anything insulting. I thought.
- 5:08That's not there, but if it's still here and you're hearing
- 5:11that, then Luke just taught you something and that could be our
- 5:15educational moment of the whole episode.
- 5:16I it could be I also learned some bad words in Russian, which
- 5:19I won't say. No, let's not.
- 5:21We got to keep this. Keeping that clean, I mean
- 5:24mostly, mostly clean. Mostly we don't want to.
- 5:26Yeah, we don't want to do that. So, but again, that was neither
- 5:30here nor there, but I just wanted to make sure that we we
- 5:33shout out because it's it is exciting for us to watch so.
- 5:38Even if we're only at like 30 something followers, it's like
- 5:42Dang, we're on episode 8, got 30 followers and we're like 4
- 5:46countries and. Yeah, Luke's gonna have to learn
- 5:49how to say like hello in many languages like Ola and all of
- 5:54that. Oh, I can say Ola.
- 5:56Yeah, yeah. You know, lots of languages I
- 5:59have terrible. German V Gates.
- 6:02Isn't it just hollow? Well, that's a hello, but what's
- 6:05up is V Gates. Specifically.
- 6:07V Gates is like, how's it going? Yes, and we have a German
- 6:10listener, so. That's what I'm saying in the
- 6:12UK. Like Cheerio, the UK person just
- 6:17unsubscribed. Forever.
- 6:19Yeah, you might have, but I don't know.
- 6:22It's it's fun and like I said, it'll maybe help Luke learn some
- 6:26things because no one wants me butchering their language.
- 6:29I will happily listen I'm. Good at accents?
- 6:31I'm horrible. I'm horrible at accents.
- 6:34The only accent I'm good at is Minnesotan.
- 6:36That's true. Minnesotan.
- 6:38Yeah, you. Got that covered?
- 6:39I do I. Southern Canada, you got that
- 6:41covered. I'm.
- 6:43Ready. You betcha.
- 6:44Because they sound the same. It's a boot A boot the same A.
- 6:47Boot. We're going out in a boot.
- 6:50We just pissed off all the Canadians.
- 6:52No, we didn't. I love Canada.
- 6:53And you know what? I wait.
- 6:54Do we have anybody in Canada yet?
- 6:56I know people in Canada, we're. Gonna have to just go up there
- 6:59and be like, hey somebody you got to listen to this because we
- 7:01need you I I. Know some.
- 7:03I have a cousin who lives in Canada and his place.
- 7:06And. They're pretty awesome.
- 7:08So I'm, I'm sure that they would.
- 7:10But no, I actually it's funny 'cause I'll be watching
- 7:12something on TV and it'll be a Canadian show and for the most
- 7:15part you're like, oh, it's American.
- 7:16Then they'll say sorry, I'm like, oh, it's in Canada.
- 7:21Or what's another one? I think they say schedule
- 7:25instead of schedule. I don't know, I must not be
- 7:27watching any shows. Oh, and they say mum instead of
- 7:30mom in Canada. Oh yeah.
- 7:34Interesting. Yeah, interesting.
- 7:36I did. Not not in the French part.
- 7:38Then they probably say whatever Mama.
- 7:41I don't know what it is. I feel like that could be right
- 7:43though. I mean my actual mom knows
- 7:46French so she could say. What's the correct way to say
- 7:48mom in French? I bet it's Mama.
- 7:51Yeah, I I don't know. I don't know.
- 7:53I mean in French Canadian maybe isn't directly the same as like
- 7:58France French. I mean, they speak French all
- 8:00over. Oh, you know what I know how to
- 8:01say in French? Monami.
- 8:06Oh, you know what I know how to say.
- 8:08Oh, what is it? It's una sepa and that, that's
- 8:11perfect pronunciation. Yeah, it is.
- 8:13And that means I don't know. I don't even know what it means.
- 8:16It means, I don't know, it's what it means.
- 8:20So if you're ever in French class and you have a French
- 8:23teacher asking you a question, that's all you need to remember
- 8:26that. That's my life hack number
- 8:30three. I've been waiting for a third
- 8:32life hack and and. That was it.
- 8:35There it is. Sorry all the French.
- 8:36Teachers out there are gonna be like, Oh dear Lord.
- 8:39Right. This, this woman's teaching
- 8:41anything about French, that's pretty bad.
- 8:43But I don't know, it's kind of one of those things.
- 8:47I'm not a good person at languages, but Lucas.
- 8:53I can pretend. Well, we were out to eat
- 8:55yesterday and Luke was talking about rolling ours and I can't
- 9:00roll an R to Yeah, no, it's. Arrows.
- 9:05Yeah, yeah. Not not something I could do.
- 9:07That doesn't mean arrows. No, no, I think it means rice.
- 9:12It does. So again, I can, I can learn
- 9:15what it means, but I can't speak it.
- 9:17Yeah, it's really, you know, I, I would butcher it no matter how
- 9:21I try, but I do, you know, whatever.
- 9:24But that reminds me, though. So yesterday we were at this
- 9:26restaurant. It was a pretty great restaurant
- 9:28favorite. Restaurant This is the best
- 9:30segue ever and. And while we were there, while a
- 9:34few things happened while we were there, it's kind of loud,
- 9:38which I kind of feel like I'm getting a little bit older when
- 9:41I go into a restaurant and I'm like yelling at people.
- 9:44And that's not that's, I don't find that, you know, to be a fun
- 9:48way to spend the evening, but I always know when I'm going into
- 9:53a restaurant, it's always going to be cold.
- 9:55That's true. Even if it's winter, so I always
- 10:00bring extra clothes in. Sorry, even if it's summer.
- 10:03But in the winter, of course, it's cold in the restaurant, but
- 10:06I always bring a coat with me no matter where I'm going, no
- 10:10matter what the temperature is outside, it can be 95° outside.
- 10:14I'm like, I better have a coat because it's going to be 60° in
- 10:16the Flippin restaurant. Somebody's got the AC on high.
- 10:21But you were thinking about what you were going to wear
- 10:24beforehand too, and I had to wait entirely too long on your
- 10:30clothing decision. But.
- 10:32I for sure changed my mind at least once.
- 10:34Yeah, yeah, I. Tend to do that.
- 10:37Yeah, but your mind changing was so vastly different than what
- 10:42you had been wearing beforehand. Is I'm just going to tell you
- 10:44all the truth right now I'm wearing what I consider to be
- 10:48house clothes. And sometimes there's not a real
- 10:51reason for that. It's just what I felt like.
- 10:53So like, right now I got on black shorts, which are, I don't
- 10:58know, some sort of cottony short material.
- 11:02I got on this shirt, which is yellow, and I got on this Black
- 11:05Hat. But this Black Hat has been
- 11:08through the wash a handful of time, so it's not quite shaped,
- 11:10right. So those are all house clothes
- 11:12for me. And when we went to the
- 11:14restaurant, I put on slightly nicer black shorts, which were
- 11:19made of a slightly nicer material.
- 11:20They're still black shorts. I put on a yellow T-shirt, still
- 11:25like a cotton T-shirt, but it had, like, it just a logo on it
- 11:30instead of, like, this big. And I thought that was a little
- 11:32nicer. And I put on a slightly nicer
- 11:35Black Hat. Also the same brand as this one.
- 11:37Kangol, by the way. Future potential sponsor.
- 11:41I just want y'all know, I've been wearing your hat since,
- 11:43like, high school. Yeah.
- 11:45It's all I wear, straight up. That is all you wear.
- 11:47I will do ads. I mean, we could.
- 11:49Do you send me some hats? This is all you wear.
- 11:51And actually, when we were in Mexico somewhere, this guy we
- 11:55saw every day would call you Kangol.
- 11:57That was my nickname. And you gave him a Kangol hat
- 11:59because he really liked it. I did, yeah.
- 12:01That's. A pretty big deal.
- 12:02You did. I gave away a hat.
- 12:04Well, I always go on vacation with a lot of hats.
- 12:06You do. But multiple colors.
- 12:08But because he loved your Kangol hat so much and how it reminded
- 12:11him of probably old school hip hop at that point.
- 12:14For sure. Well, the 90s, you know, the
- 12:16fuzzy kangles was I didn't get the fuzzy hats ever, but right,
- 12:20the caps. I rocked the caps.
- 12:21So anyway, so the little wrap up, that little story to go out.
- 12:24I went from wearing black shorts, a yellow T-shirt and a
- 12:27Black Hat to wearing black shorts, a yellow T-shirt and a
- 12:30Black Hat to go to the restaurant.
- 12:32This is what I live with. This is what I live with.
- 12:34And you're welcome. When I wear house clothes, which
- 12:37is all the time and for me, house clothes, you know, I don't
- 12:41know. I feel like lots of people do
- 12:43that and I could be wrong, but they have AI don't know.
- 12:45You go home and you change from whatever your other clothes are.
- 12:48It's a whole mental shift. Now I work from home most of the
- 12:53time, that's true. So I kind of live in house
- 12:56clothes, and for me, house clothes are very different than
- 13:00Luke. One thing that is always a
- 13:02required house cloth item for me is a bathrobe because I'm always
- 13:07cold and I like to be warm and walking around with a blanket
- 13:12on. It's really important.
- 13:14Now, am I wearing clothes underneath?
- 13:16Of course, you know, but what I'm wearing under people don't.
- 13:19Well, I do I, it's another layer to keep me warm.
- 13:23But you know, what I'm wearing underneath is, you know, like
- 13:26maybe pajama pants or some kind of legging, you know, or yoga
- 13:31pant type of a thing. And if I'm in a meeting, I will
- 13:35change if I'm in a meeting at the top.
- 13:37Half. Well, yeah, the bottom half's
- 13:40fine. That's not a camera.
- 13:41The bottom half's fine, but the top, you know, if I don't have
- 13:45to do anything that day or if I'm home for the day, like I
- 13:49will find the oldest, rattiest T-shirt that should have been
- 13:52thrown away, you know, according to Luke way long ago.
- 13:57But I just wear them. They're nice and soft and the
- 14:00longer for T-shirts, I think women's T-shirts are junk.
- 14:05They're not made in a soft material and like when they
- 14:10wear, they just like if they are made in a soft material when
- 14:14they wear it like pills badly and it's just it's not the
- 14:18greatest material. So usually the shirts that I
- 14:21like to wear are typically men's T-shirts because for whatever
- 14:27reason, they give you all the better quality cottons that are
- 14:30softer. And still don't get it.
- 14:33I don't even know if I'd buy it. I mean, you say that, so it's
- 14:35probably true. Wear my T-shirts.
- 14:37But I can't wear your tiny little T-shirts from your tiny
- 14:40little body. She gets excited when one of
- 14:44mine shrinks too many times in the wash and I'm like, I can't
- 14:47fit this anymore. I'm like.
- 14:49Oh, another house shirt because they're always softer.
- 14:53I'm using the same well. Typically we're using the same
- 14:56detergent. Same.
- 14:58Well, probably, yeah, a lot of times we do.
- 15:02And the same fabric softener, same water.
- 15:05So the only thing that's different and his shirt will say
- 15:07100% cotton or whatever it is, my shirt will say the same
- 15:10thing. No, very different.
- 15:13So I, it's, it's just amazing to me the difference of, of shirt
- 15:19quality. I mean, there's a whole thing
- 15:22on, on clothing whole thing. And we can go into some of that
- 15:25today. That's fine.
- 15:26Is this shirt soft? Sorry, this is a touch and feel
- 15:30episode. It's not very useful for all of
- 15:33the the listeners, but yes, yes, it's a regular T-shirt material
- 15:39and that is not a typical I don't.
- 15:41Know what I can't tell? It's it's one of those things,
- 15:44the second I buy a T-shirt, I don't know what it's going to be
- 15:47like after one wash. OK, I don't think you ever
- 15:50really have that concern of what is the material going to be
- 15:52after one wash? Is it going to suddenly be
- 15:55uncomfortable or stiff? That's The thing is a lot of
- 15:59times it just gets stiff. It like shrinks up and stiffs.
- 16:03It gets worse. It gets worse.
- 16:04It's never as soft as when you buy it.
- 16:06That doesn't make any sense. Well, you know, I'm going to
- 16:09I'll tell you this is just how it goes.
- 16:10The clothing for women's shirts and and you know, I also,
- 16:16especially if you're going somewhere I love, I love, love,
- 16:20love a great souvenir T-shirt. I've.
- 16:24Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt.
- 16:26Yeah. And and I think every time
- 16:28there's. It's actually part of the fun we
- 16:30do on vacation. We go on a little like AT Shirt
- 16:33Hunt. I used to not.
- 16:34I used to not buy them at all because when I was younger my
- 16:39sense of fashion was much higher than it is now, which I'm sure
- 16:43you're laughing at because. Your life's like, OK, but I
- 16:46cared. More about what people thought
- 16:49about what I looked like and now today.
- 16:51I see. It's that's a great thing.
- 16:53And anyone who's not there yet in their life, I hope you can
- 16:57get to the point where it's really about what makes you
- 16:59happy in your body, in your clothes.
- 17:02I mean, hold on though, because shout out to whatever that means
- 17:05to you, but you've definitely like levelled up.
- 17:09Like when you, I mean for real, like when you, when you go out
- 17:14and about, you put something on, it's like, boom.
- 17:18OK so this is the funniest thing.
- 17:21It's when I I will leave the house and it's like I take off
- 17:29the bathrobe. Yeah.
- 17:31And everybody's like, Oh my God, you're so dressed up.
- 17:34What's this special occasion? And it's still, by the way,
- 17:37people clothes from before I was wearing a bathroom all the time
- 17:42and working from home. It is the exact same clothes
- 17:45because I'm too cheap to buy new clothes.
- 17:47So it's not new. It's just that you're so used to
- 17:50seeing me in house clothes that you're like, wow, that's shiny.
- 17:54Whereas. It's been five years of house
- 17:57clothes. Yeah.
- 17:57But before that you we're very used.
- 18:01I mean like you wouldn't have thought that the clothes that
- 18:02I'm leaving the house in, is that amazing?
- 18:06OK. Well.
- 18:07Because you didn't, unless it was something a step up above.
- 18:10I'm just saying, to me, you look more fashionable now than you
- 18:13did back in the day. Well, that's really great to
- 18:15hear. And you know, it's also sort of
- 18:17interesting is when I was a kid and teenager, I would have never
- 18:22worn my mom's clothes. And our daughter frequently is
- 18:26like, oh, I need clothes. Let me go ask mom for her
- 18:30clothes. And I'm like.
- 18:31Oh, the other day, by the way, just side note, I'm revealing it
- 18:34a big reveal in the episode the other day.
- 18:37I think you were in a meeting and we were getting her ready
- 18:40for acting day camp thing. And she was like, Oh my God, I
- 18:47need a green shirt and I don't have 1.
- 18:49And I was like, your mom's probably got a green shirt.
- 18:51She was like, I'll go ask her. And then she came back.
- 18:54She was like, I can't ask her because she must have been in a
- 18:56meeting. And then I was like, it's fine,
- 19:00let's just go in her closet. No, don't do.
- 19:02That Oh, we did. We did.
- 19:03She found a green shirt. Did.
- 19:05You get put back. I don't I got I'm pleading the
- 19:085th. That's on your daughter.
- 19:10That's on you because she's a. Full grown teenager.
- 19:13You gave her. Permission.
- 19:14Just saying. Oh my God.
- 19:16You know, most likely she didn't probably put it back.
- 19:19It's probably she probably trying to steal it forever right
- 19:22now. You know her.
- 19:23Which is weird, why does she want my old lady clothes?
- 19:27I don't know, maybe she thinks you're like, like I said, maybe
- 19:29she thinks you're on a different.
- 19:31Level well, it's because of when again when I take off that
- 19:33probably what it is. It's like Wonder Woman, like she
- 19:36takes off her. Yes, yeah.
- 19:38You have like a superhero disguise, which is the bathrobe.
- 19:41And then you you take the bathroom off.
- 19:43And I was like, oh. Wow, it's.
- 19:45A superhero. I wonder if anyone else who
- 19:49listens who might be working from home a lot, if this is this
- 19:52is their reality. That's a good question.
- 19:55Because that's sort of a. It's just bizarre if that's.
- 19:58You out there put something in the comments?
- 20:00I just want to know trying to figure it out.
- 20:01Do you also have a superhero situation?
- 20:04Going there you go. Right, right.
- 20:06It's just, it's sort of some of that's going to be going away
- 20:09from me in a little bit, but that's neither here nor there.
- 20:13But like I was saying, all the clothes I have are from way back
- 20:18before anything that I was. So I was wearing these clothes
- 20:21regularly and. You got the I don't know if it's
- 20:25called, is it a romper or a jumper?
- 20:27A jumper, yes. You got a couple jumpers that
- 20:30look good. But I don't really have many
- 20:33occasions. Were those from before?
- 20:35Or no, those were no, because at some point, you know, when when
- 20:39I started working from home, yeah, I realized the importance
- 20:43of 100% comfort. I see.
- 20:45And like, when I think about when I was a kid growing up,
- 20:51we'd have these events or every Sunday, you know, we would go,
- 20:54my mom would bring us to church and I had to wear a dress and
- 20:59tights and it just, it felt off the whole time.
- 21:02I couldn't do anything I wanted to do.
- 21:04I was uncomfortable. I was itchy.
- 21:06I had to make sure my dress was down, you know, like it was
- 21:08just, it was so much stuff and it just didn't feel OK in what I
- 21:13was wearing ever during that, you know, But then I'd get in my
- 21:16play clothes or something great. I could do whatever I wanted.
- 21:19So living in essentially play clothes for, you know, several
- 21:26years, I was like, I don't ever want to put on another dress.
- 21:29They're uncomfortable. I don't feel right in them.
- 21:31So when we had a, you know, when weddings started back up, you
- 21:35know, then I was like, I have to still look nice, but what about
- 21:40a jumper? And so that's when I started
- 21:43doing that. And I think that is going to be
- 21:45a tradition I continue because I want to feel good in what I'm
- 21:49wearing, you know, always. And it was sort of and and.
- 21:54But when I find something I like, I will buy a lot of it.
- 22:01Oh yeah, I always buy. Well, this is something I
- 22:03learned from you. Buy them in multiples.
- 22:05Buy them in multiples. Like if you get a pair of jeans
- 22:07and it's all good, get like 5 of them.
- 22:11If you if there's a pair of shoes or sandals you like, you
- 22:14better buy some more because they're going to cancel it and
- 22:17then you're not going to. Then you got to start all over.
- 22:19I know trying to find that stuff and and for me, like 1 of the
- 22:24things that I've really because fashion changes especially a lot
- 22:29for women. I don't know if they do for men
- 22:31because I don't pay any attention to men's clothes, but
- 22:34it's like, I don't care if the world has moved on from from the
- 22:39clothes that I like. I don't care if the world has
- 22:40moved on from capris. I don't care if the world has
- 22:44moved on from a certain color or a pattern or something.
- 22:47I'm going to continue to wear it.
- 22:50I mean, I except for apparently my family, I don't think
- 22:53anyone's taking fashion advice for me and my daughter.
- 22:56Maybe because I just don't. It's just, you know, be
- 23:00comfortable. That's the.
- 23:01Important thing and weddings. I'm telling you something about
- 23:05the algorithm got me the other day with some marketing because
- 23:09I OK, so talk about being comfortable when I have to go to
- 23:13a nice event, I got to wear a suit.
- 23:15That's what you do now some people don't and it's like, you
- 23:18know, I guess that's changing. And I'm like old fashioned or
- 23:21whatever. Because some people will go to
- 23:22an event that's nice and they'll just wear like golf pants and a
- 23:26button up and like, OK, I mean, if that's you, you do you.
- 23:32But I still put on a suit. If I'm going to like a wedding,
- 23:34I want to like look like I took some time to prepare and get
- 23:38ready and pay respect to the event that I'm going to, you
- 23:42know, and it's not like you got to wear it for the whole day or
- 23:45whatever. Anyway.
- 23:46So in in the marketing that I saw in the last couple of days,
- 23:52they showed me and by day I mean the marketing geniuses, a suit
- 23:57that was made like it looked like a suit, but it was made out
- 24:00of that like that, that breathy kind of like stretchy.
- 24:05Spandex. I don't know if it's spandex
- 24:07because it wasn't tight. Like it was a suit.
- 24:09So it was a form fitting, you know, like look like slacks.
- 24:13It was a like a top of a suit, but it was made out of some very
- 24:18comfortable, very lightweight, very breathable material that
- 24:20reminded me something like something between like maybe
- 24:24like golf clothing and like a swimsuit kind of.
- 24:32And I saw this and I was like, oh, it would be real nice if I
- 24:37could get a suit that looked good, but also I could like bend
- 24:42over or squat and I wouldn't have to worry about having to re
- 24:45situate my whole the body and clothing and everything just
- 24:49because I moved a little bit. Yeah, OK.
- 24:52I think they might have over promised you that.
- 24:54Because still, even if you have like a stretchy movable suit
- 24:58coat, the second you stand up, as someone who has lived in the
- 25:01stretchy movable world, you would still straighten your coat
- 25:04and stuff like that. You'd still straighten your
- 25:06pants. But you're but you're probably
- 25:08not worrying about splitting A seam or something.
- 25:11Well, or like, like, you know, if you're at a wedding, you go
- 25:14from like all formal and like you're doing the thing and then
- 25:18then there's a reception and then there's like you're moving
- 25:21around and you're dancing. And it'd be nice to have
- 25:23something that you didn't have to worry about in Part 2 of the
- 25:26night, you know what I'm saying? Right, right.
- 25:29Well, this is also, you know, one of those things where you
- 25:32just see guys taking off their suit coats.
- 25:35That's what I do usually. Right, But you still got the
- 25:37kind of stuffy the dress. There's always the person who
- 25:39puts the tie on their head at a wedding.
- 25:41Always. Why do they do that?
- 25:43I don't. Know.
- 25:44What's that about that? I don't even get it.
- 25:46Every time. I don't think I've ever been to
- 25:48a wedding where there wasn't. Is it?
- 25:49Is it Rambo? I don't know.
- 25:51It might be everyone's trying to be Rambo.
- 25:54It might. That's my answer.
- 25:55I think that's my Yep. I don't even need a lifeline.
- 25:58They're going to Rambo mode. OK, well thank you for for
- 26:01explaining that to me because. I could be wrong I.
- 26:03Don't know why that happens but I could see where that would be
- 26:06really uncomfortable to have a tie around your neck all day and
- 26:09I would it. Definitely is uncomfortable.
- 26:11I'm real happy that I don't have to wear a tie all day anymore.
- 26:15Again, for me, comfort is number 1, you know, and and trying to
- 26:19be I, I don't, I mean, except for the price of the suit that
- 26:23you showed me. Well, right, Because, you know,
- 26:24suits aren't cheap. And I saw the bra, it was like
- 26:26299. And I know myself, I was like,
- 26:29well, I don't. You wear a suit.
- 26:30I don't need to spend 299 exactly because I wear suits
- 26:34very infrequently so. Right, right.
- 26:36Sort of unnecessary, but I really, I really wanted it,
- 26:39that's what. Happened.
- 26:40Well, I mean, if you yeah, I guess I'm, I'm not giving a
- 26:43green light on any of that, but there is no time that you're
- 26:46going to be wearing a suit anytime soon or that you need to
- 26:48buy a suit. You have you actually do have
- 26:51more suits than most people have or need Well.
- 26:55I have to wear. Them you did have to wear them
- 26:57you don't anymore. Again, that's that's sort of an
- 27:00interesting shift in our culture.
- 27:02Just the casualness of of things and and I kind of, it's kind of.
- 27:06Crazy blows me away. Like in my industry it's like
- 27:10now normal where I'm not kidding it. 10 years ago, maybe 15, it
- 27:16was suit and tie, except during like during the week you could
- 27:21just do shirt and tie, but always dress shoes, always had
- 27:24to have a matching belt, always had to have slacks that were
- 27:27pressed and, you know, like a nice shirt.
- 27:30And then the weekends you wore suits and now we're wearing like
- 27:36golf pants and tennis shoes and. Like tennis shoes to.
- 27:41Work yeah tennis shoes like fully just just not even trying
- 27:44to hide it anymore like a couple years ago we were trying to hide
- 27:46it people were not me because I just just literally got tennis
- 27:50shoes like a month ago or something I.
- 27:53Mean but people were trying to wear but for work.
- 27:55For work. For work they were like getting
- 27:57a black tennis shoe with a black sole so that it looked like a
- 28:02black shoe and passing it off. But now it's just like people
- 28:06are wearing whatever tennis shoe fits them and feels good.
- 28:10I think that's good because honestly.
- 28:12You're about comfort, so that. Well, and as a consumer, I don't
- 28:15really care. I mean that old concept, you
- 28:18know, for depending on depending on I guess maybe I might care if
- 28:22you were wearing a like sweat suit or something.
- 28:27It would just feel weird in your in your industry for you to be
- 28:30doing that. But I don't know that that would
- 28:32ever stop me from being a consumer in your industry.
- 28:35You know what, what person, what a person's bringing to is more
- 28:40important than what they wear to me.
- 28:42But I don't know that that was always, I mean, that was always
- 28:45the thing. But so much of our world is now
- 28:46digital, right? So you've already had a
- 28:48relationship with this person before seeing them.
- 28:51So you're not purchasing that person based on their looks.
- 28:53That's way down the line. You know, you've talked to them
- 28:56on the phone, you've emailed them all of that.
- 28:58So I think that's a good shift for someone like me who is
- 29:01always, always about comfort. And I just, yeah, I don't know,
- 29:06I think that that's good. But we were talking about a
- 29:09little bit earlier about one of the things that I wear a lot,
- 29:14which is not just my bathroom, but when I leave the house
- 29:18essentially from June to hopefully October.
- 29:26It won't be. It'll be September.
- 29:28It'll be September, I just wear capris so I'm ready for whatever
- 29:32weather right? And I really, and I have the
- 29:35same capris in like 7 different colours, maybe not seven
- 29:39different colors. I have 7 pairs and several of
- 29:42them are the same color. But then the other thing too.
- 29:46And I, I kind of think it's weird, but also at the same
- 29:48time, I don't care because I want to be warm or cold
- 29:51depending. But like I also like to have a,
- 29:54a sometimes a three quarter sleeve.
- 29:56And I wanted to someone sit there wondering if like all my
- 29:59clothes shrunk, you know, is it kind of looking like it kind of
- 30:04looks like all my clothes shrunk and I just grew too much.
- 30:07Yeah, where's the rest of your pants?
- 30:09The rest of my pants or the. Rest of your shirt sleeves.
- 30:11Rest of my shirt sleeves yeah, yeah.
- 30:14But at the same time, I'm like, I really all the way down is OK
- 30:18on my arms. But you know, if it's hot, it's
- 30:21nice to have a little bit of space there to breathe you.
- 30:24Know multiple. 3/4 that I do this is, it's mostly sweaters.
- 30:29It's mostly sweaters, yeah. You.
- 30:33Haven't seen me in one for a while because I've been
- 30:37bathrobed. Yeah, but but then also, you
- 30:40know, like having a couple inches on the bottom of my
- 30:42pants. But I, I try to keep them
- 30:45looking good enough so people aren't thinking, well, they just
- 30:47shrunk in the wash. But I don't know if anyone
- 30:49thinks that, that I know it's purposefully purchased that way
- 30:53and. And unfortunately, if I were to
- 30:55buy full size pants, they will always look too long because I'm
- 30:58a little bit shorter than I portray to be.
- 31:01Then you wear your tall shoes. Then I wear tall shoes.
- 31:04Yeah, Yeah. So.
- 31:05I don't have tall shoes. No, I.
- 31:07Don't have pants that don't go all the way down.
- 31:09No, but I'm telling you like this.
- 31:12You why? For me, the reason I like them
- 31:18is because I'm ready for whatever weather.
- 31:23You know, I just think if it's nice out, wear shorts and if
- 31:30it's cool or cold wear pants. I don't know.
- 31:34I don't know. Well, I mean, here's the thing
- 31:36with let me ask you a question. Oh.
- 31:41But now, the moment you've all been waiting for in this corner,
- 31:47we have Amber claiming to weigh in at 135 lbs with What's the
- 31:52tally? I don't like those tally.
- 31:55What's the? Vote tally.
- 31:57I don't like it. I've won three.
- 32:03Yay, I think I've won four. Oh, I don't like.
- 32:09It OK, sorry we stole your intro a little bit.
- 32:12Anyway, she did show up today with fantastic skin.
- 32:18I've been looking at you thinking why is she all shiny?
- 32:21Looks all vibrant. Anyway, you might need your
- 32:24looks to trick me today. And in this corner, we have Luke
- 32:29weighing in at 185 plus pounds. Your enthusiasm is low.
- 32:34His red beard he brought with yeah, he's, he's got four wins
- 32:41and three losses. I have lost three times.
- 32:44You've lost three times. And so he's, he's showing up
- 32:50today with the with the ability to fight on a question that I
- 32:55have for him today. I'm ready.
- 32:58Luke, today my question is, given everything you know about
- 33:07me and what I have found that I wear from June to September.
- 33:17Summer. Yes, OK.
- 33:21Why will you not just get capris for you so that when I want to
- 33:34leave the house, we don't have to have this?
- 33:37Do I wear shorts? Do I wear pants?
- 33:39Debate for a good 10 minutes before we leave.
- 33:44That's the question, Luke. This is great, yeah.
- 33:51Will you get man prize? Man prize.
- 33:54So first of all, apparently that's what they're called.
- 33:58Man Prize. That's what you call them.
- 34:00Oh, what's it called? Does it have a real name?
- 34:02Caprice. Caprice for men.
- 34:04Yeah, Caprice for men. No, I will not give capris for
- 34:11men cause for a number of reasons many might potentially
- 34:17alienate some of our viewers. So I apologize in advance for my
- 34:22future comments and or attitudes.
- 34:24So for the most part in the summertime, I'm wearing shorts
- 34:32because shorts, I mean, listen, shorts are much better than
- 34:36capris because when it's real hot, you get a more breeze in
- 34:42the shorts, you get a little little more airflow going, you
- 34:46got a little more mobility with the shorts.
- 34:50You could do more activities and shorts.
- 34:53And when it, like I said, when it's cool, I don't know what
- 34:58number that is, but it's probably when it's below.
- 35:02I don't even know 65. I don't even know because I'm
- 35:06making that number up. It hasn't really been that yet.
- 35:08It's been very summary this summer, then I'm going to wear
- 35:12pants because I don't want to have my legs get cold.
- 35:16So I put pants on. They go all the way to my shoes,
- 35:19which I feel like for the most part, that's what pants should
- 35:22do. And now this is where we going
- 35:24to some some topics about fashion trends and male
- 35:28clothing. So for a while now, I mean, it's
- 35:34a while, it's probably 10. Is it 10 years?
- 35:37Five years? I have no idea what you're going
- 35:39to say. Men's attire has been
- 35:44gravitating more towards women's attire.
- 35:49I mean, that's the truth. I'm just saying it's out there.
- 35:52I think everybody knows it, but a lot of guys don't want to
- 35:55admit it. They just are like, oh, this is
- 35:58the new fashion. So I'm going to hop on board and
- 36:00I'm like, I don't know why you're buying clothes that look
- 36:04like they're for your significant other.
- 36:06See, this is where I'm going to offend some people because I
- 36:08actually think this stuff like Amber wears capris and then at
- 36:13some point, and they had those for women like forever.
- 36:15And then at some point they came up with capris for men.
- 36:18And I'm like, why? What do you just wear shorts if
- 36:22it's that nice out? I don't even get it.
- 36:23If you want to show people your ankle, just your ankle.
- 36:26And then now that's even the fashion in like, in like fashion
- 36:30fashion like if you're going to make a pair of slacks for a guy.
- 36:34Craps. What?
- 36:36Well, in women it's a crop pant, but yeah.
- 36:38Crop is Wait, so this is not a Capri.
- 36:41No, that's not very. See, in my brain, this is a long
- 36:43Capri, but in any event, so pants go down to your to your
- 36:48shoes. That's what they do.
- 36:51Even slacks, they cut them to go down to your shoes, but now, now
- 36:54they don't and they're like super tight.
- 36:58So I went into a store because this is a fashion issue that I
- 37:02have. So I've been wearing slacks for
- 37:0520 years, right. So then the new fashion, we
- 37:10talked this a little bit about the tennis shoes earlier.
- 37:13The new fashion as it's coming through the professional world
- 37:17is like golf pants, which are still like a nice material.
- 37:23They they, they can have like a pressed, like a crease look to
- 37:28them. They don't have to, they often
- 37:30don't, but sometimes they do, but they're like much more snug.
- 37:37And so I was trying to be with it with the new fashion.
- 37:41So I went on a little hunt at the Mall of America, which is in
- 37:44the state of Minnesota, and there's a bunch of places where
- 37:49you can find golf pants. And I went to go try some on and
- 37:53I went to like, I think 3 different stores and every time
- 37:57I tried one on, they were comically tight around my
- 38:00calves. Like like it looked like
- 38:03somebody made a pair of pants and then they left out like 2
- 38:06inches of the material at the bottom.
- 38:08They were super tight and they didn't go all the way to my
- 38:11feet. So, so I got these pants that
- 38:14fit like like a glove, literally they're super tight on my, my
- 38:19lower leg area and they stopped like 2 inches above my ankle.
- 38:23And I went out a couple like to the first one.
- 38:25I'm like to a couple of guys stand there.
- 38:27I'm like, hey, you guys got any pants that like fit?
- 38:33And the guy, the one guy laughed and he says, well, that's like
- 38:36kind of the new trend. And I'm thinking he's now pegged
- 38:39me as like an old timer. And he was right.
- 38:41I mean, I'm sure that it was before the pants were put on and
- 38:45then figured out you were not. But but Liz and he goes, he
- 38:49goes, well, we do have the classic fit.
- 38:52Let me get you a pair of those. I'm like, OK, because of course
- 38:55I just pulled something off the rack and tried it on.
- 38:58So and then I get the classic fit.
- 38:59Let me tell you what classic fit is, people.
- 39:02It was literally slightly less ridiculously tight.
- 39:06I still couldn't like if I had to try to twist my leg like in
- 39:10a, you know, 180 motion, I couldn't because the the calf
- 39:16was like, it was like pulling on my leg hair.
- 39:20That's how tight it was, the classic one and still didn't go
- 39:23all the way to my foot. So I just kind of laughed it
- 39:26often and left. So, so for me, I mean, man,
- 39:32there's a lot of these fashions that are problematic for me
- 39:36because I just don't like, it's probably because I've been in a
- 39:39world that started as like, you know, a, a very professional,
- 39:43like in my 20s, I was wearing suits and like cufflinks and tie
- 39:50bars and like, you know, we were trying to be fancy and wear
- 39:53fancy looking socks and stuff. I understand that's not the
- 39:57world anymore, but that's probably part of the reason that
- 40:00I find the new, the new fashion, which appears to be like a, more
- 40:08like a, like a, like an amorphous, like, like it's
- 40:12fashionable for you, It's fashionable for me, it's
- 40:15fashionable for whoever. Let's just all wear tight pants
- 40:19that don't go all the way down to our feet.
- 40:21And, and this isn't really the question you asked me, but just
- 40:26to tag on a little bit, I mean shirts, like at what point did
- 40:30shirts for guys have to have like a like a sometimes you see
- 40:35like a real deep V on a guy's shirt and like, like the sleeves
- 40:40like up here. And then they got like the
- 40:42little, I called it a butt flap. We were talking earlier like the
- 40:45where the back of the shirt is like longer than the front of
- 40:49the shirt, so like it covers your hip differently or
- 40:52something. Anyway, So I kind of think all
- 40:55that stuff's a little bit silly, but I suppose I'm not a fashion
- 41:00designer, but I'm sticking to my guns on this.
- 41:04Am I getting a Capri to be with the in between weather?
- 41:09No, I sure I sure am not. I'm going to wear pants when
- 41:12it's cool enough and shorts when it's warm enough.
- 41:14Yes. But that's the problem is that
- 41:17there's plenty of times when I am with you that you say, oh,
- 41:23it's gotten colder or oh, it's gotten hotter.
- 41:28I wasn't expecting this weather. So then either you're cold or
- 41:34you're hot. And when you're hot, what you do
- 41:38is you roll up your jeans to Capri length.
- 41:41You won't walk around and show other people that, but you're
- 41:45like, let me just pull up my legs to my my pant legs to get
- 41:49there. So I was saying like, your
- 41:52comfort could be so much greater in those things, especially
- 41:59knowing that where we live and for I think everywhere,
- 42:02weather's unpredictable. So then you're just ready all
- 42:06the time. A few audio listeners could see
- 42:09my squint right now. I think, I don't know, I when,
- 42:14when I was a kid and I didn't have capris and it was shorts or
- 42:18pants, I felt, I felt the pain of it's too hot, it's too cold.
- 42:23I I watch you do that and I'm like, there's just such a
- 42:26sensible solution in the middle. That's such a sensible.
- 42:30I will say the women's shorts are much more difficult than
- 42:34men's shorts. Like the sticking to things.
- 42:36I don't think you stick to things.
- 42:39You don't stick. Yeah, like if you're staying.
- 42:41On because the length of the short.
- 42:43Yeah, OK, wait, you're probably you're right in a in a in a time
- 42:47length and traditional sense. But for real, like men's shorts
- 42:52now. And I appear if this has been a
- 42:54thing for a while, I'm just I'm just so out of touch it doesn't
- 42:57matter. But they have now like
- 43:00measurements of the length of the short.
- 43:04Yeah. OK, well this to me, this is
- 43:06brand new. Like I was looking for new
- 43:08shorts. This is a couple years ago and
- 43:10they had like, I can't even remember 6 inch shorts and 9
- 43:15inch shorts and some yeah. 6 inch shorts.
- 43:18I mean, I let me tell you, these were some shorts shorts.
- 43:22They're like 6 inch dude shorts and I'm like man, who wants a
- 43:26short leg like way up their thigh?
- 43:30I don't even know why that's a thing.
- 43:32Oh, that's. OK.
- 43:33It's what they're comfortable in.
- 43:34I I think that honestly the issue isn't that you are
- 43:38uncomfortable. I think The thing is, is if you
- 43:43were to try it a Capri pant, I think you're afraid you're going
- 43:48to like it, and then you would have to set aside your
- 43:54discrimination against Manfreze. I mean I guess anything is
- 44:03possible but I feel like this would just add to the decision
- 44:07making process because you already have a problem with me
- 44:10deciding between shorts and pants.
- 44:12What if I had one in the middle? Now I got to decide that's super
- 44:15easy. Or capris.
- 44:17Or pants. It's super easy because.
- 44:20You guys even wear capris? Are you just messing with me
- 44:22right now? I.
- 44:23Know guys who wear Capri pants? Do we both know guys?
- 44:27We know guys who wear Capri pants.
- 44:29Listen, if any of these guys who wear Capri pants are listening
- 44:32to this episode, if you know me, I need to talk to you on the
- 44:34side. Yeah, let them know.
- 44:37It's just a way to be more comfortable.
- 44:39And like, the other thing we've had too is in the past,
- 44:42sometimes it'll be like Luke has to bring a pair of pants with
- 44:45him because it's going to get colder later instead of just or
- 44:49a pair of, well, never. It's never the other direction,
- 44:53but you know, like that just seems all of it.
- 44:55I don't know, I think they're great.
- 44:57How? Often do I bring shorts and or
- 44:59pants as a backup plan? It depends on if we're going to
- 45:01be gone all day. You definitely bring another
- 45:03outfit of bottom choice. OK, now I'm sure you're right
- 45:08because you remember all kinds of crazy stuff, but I'm going to
- 45:12give a little a little credit to this great state of Minnesota,
- 45:17this place in. For weather.
- 45:20In less than one day, it could be legitimately like 80 at 4:00
- 45:27PM and it could be like 40 at 9:00 PM.
- 45:32That's OK. 80 to 40 in one day is pretty unusual.
- 45:36It's. Just like a handful of times
- 45:37every year. Right, OK, well anyhow.
- 45:40OK, sorry, 90 to 65. That happens every summer, a
- 45:43bunch of times all the time in the summer.
- 45:46Of course for. Me, that's a transition.
- 45:48It's probably you want shorts when it's 90 and pants when it's
- 45:5265. You're just.
- 45:53Luke is the most particular person when it comes to clothes
- 45:57and fashion, and I'm sure we'll even have more episodes about
- 46:01fashion so that the masses can learn how ridiculous you are.
- 46:08I'm a little ridiculous. About clothes and, like, the
- 46:11concept of change is really hard for you.
- 46:16And the concept of what is outside of the realm of
- 46:20acceptability is hard for you. Like if Luke gets a stain on his
- 46:25shirt, we have to go back home and change it.
- 46:27Yeah. And.
- 46:28Then it becomes house clothes. And right, right.
- 46:31And I'm talking little teeny Tony Stain.
- 46:33Like this one has a stain somewhere, I don't even remember
- 46:35where. That's why this is house
- 46:37clothes. And I'm one of those most
- 46:39people, and I don't care. I'll say it out loud.
- 46:42I've said it to people in private.
- 46:44If I get a stain on my shirt and it's still there after the wash,
- 46:49if I wear that shirt again and I'm in a situation someone's
- 46:53like, oh, I'm like, oh, that just happened.
- 46:56Because, you know, I don't want people to think, but I'm so
- 46:58cheap, I don't care. I mean, like, it's just
- 47:00clothing. Am I dressed?
- 47:02Am I covered? Yeah.
- 47:04Do I look good enough? Sure.
- 47:06Do I have a little stain from something?
- 47:08Yeah. But you know, it seems entirely
- 47:12wasteful to disregard what I think are probably the other
- 47:15thing is comfortable clothes, so.
- 47:18You actually wear. I got it.
- 47:19I can't even. I do you.
- 47:20Wear capris I'm back to. Capri OK, Sorry, sorry.
- 47:23I just literally in my head I'm like how does this even make
- 47:26sense? So you wear and have capris like
- 47:29when you bought them and the reason you wear them.
- 47:32All the time which you know. It is all the time is
- 47:34intentionally because it covers up your leg just enough that
- 47:39when it cools down, you're not overly cold.
- 47:42And yeah, it uncovers your your ankle to calf area just enough
- 47:48so that when it's hot, you're not hot.
- 47:50Yeah. That doesn't make any sense to
- 47:53me. Yeah, I don't know.
- 47:54It's like kind of putting, I mean, I, I don't know why it
- 47:57works, but it's really good and I just wish you could learn
- 48:00that. I do.
- 48:02Have one three quarter length shirt sleeve one.
- 48:05And you love. It I do, but hold on, there's a
- 48:08lot of times when if it's a little cool, I'll be like, I
- 48:10wish I had another 3 inches of sleeve on here cuz yeah you
- 48:15could always pull it up, you know, and then it's fine.
- 48:17Yeah, yeah. But I don't know do.
- 48:20You pull your Capri pant legs up.
- 48:23If it's really hot, maybe I wear a different kind of material
- 48:26that's really easy to breathe. So I mean, maybe a maybe in some
- 48:32of my other ones, but I don't know, that's probably I, I think
- 48:36that I, I think Luke, you should try something new at some point
- 48:42here. We're going to be going to a
- 48:44warmer climate with questionable weather.
- 48:47That's true, where it's going to be 6070 at night, you know, and
- 48:5290 during the day. And I think it's a good time to
- 48:56just have them so that when you go, you don't get hot or cold.
- 49:03I'm about to sink my own chances at winning an episode and just
- 49:06say this because the vote and the question is, should Luke?
- 49:12Yes, should. Luke Should.
- 49:13Luke get man priest. I mean, I, I want the answer to
- 49:18that to be no. But if for whatever reason the
- 49:23answer to this happens to be yes, strong yes too.
- 49:27Can't be like a little bit. I needed to be like I got
- 49:31smoked. I'll let you find or pick me out
- 49:36some somewhere like it and I'll try and I'll hate it.
- 49:42I hate every second of it until I'll be like why are these
- 49:44things itching up on my leg hair?
- 49:46Don't. You don't have like hair?
- 49:48Well, that's. I mean, I do, naturally.
- 49:50Well, but not you shave it off. Sure.
- 49:53Anyway, I think. I'm just saying I, I just 'cause
- 49:56if the votes are really obvious, that I'm just being an old
- 49:59crotchety man. Yes, let's let.
- 50:01OK, that's the vote, really. Should Luke get man?
- 50:04Try something new. And I'm gonna eat my my people
- 50:08that agree with me. Just you gotta vote.
- 50:10Try it. I'm not even trying to be weird
- 50:12about the podcast right now, I'm just I'm just worried about my
- 50:15own self having to wear these things out in public.
- 50:18I don't want to do it. No one will think that it's
- 50:20weird you're. The because you said people do
- 50:23it now. So maybe you're right, but I
- 50:24don't believe it. I don't, I don't know.
- 50:26I think the vote is to help Lukes comfort and to help me a
- 50:31little and having to go to this back and forth, you know, is it
- 50:35going to be too hot? Is it going to be too cold?
- 50:37I think it would be a really good solution for your
- 50:39temperature issues. So this is out of love that I'm
- 50:43saying we should try it. And if anyone listening believes
- 50:46in love, they. Oh for goodness.
- 50:49Laying it on just for votes here, yeah.
- 50:52Well. Just you went deep on that.
- 50:55OK, that's that's the that's the question.
- 50:58Should Luke try something new? So all you got to do now is find
