- 2:05Speaker 5: was on and stuff. I wrote you a quick poem.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Roses are red, violets are blue. I'm happy to be
- 2:13Speaker 5: back with the self loathing.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Jew excellent, nice, nice, very hard, very strong. Yeah, yeah,

- 2:42Speaker 3: working on the Taco Bowl and it was festival. Oh
- 2:47Speaker 3: oh I was close. It was close, really good. So
- 2:51Speaker 3: welcome back our traffic specialists.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Hi. The five is jammed up today and you're gonna
- 2:59Speaker 3: be the layed now and a half. Have I just
- 3:01Speaker 3: become a traffic specialist?
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah? Pretty much? Okay?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Does one get certified as a traffic specialist?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Sure?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Okay, fair enough I had a great time this weekend
- 3:16Speaker 3: listening to Christy Nome when that horrible story about the
- 3:21Speaker 3: women and Nicole Hood being killed by that ice agent,
- 3:27Speaker 3: and obviously it's very controversial, and she talked. Gnome talked
- 3:32Speaker 3: about professional agitators who were there, and I'm thinking, what
- 3:38Speaker 3: is a professional agitator? Are you paid and by whom?
- 3:42Speaker 3: And a professional are you certified? Do you go to
- 3:47Speaker 3: cal State University and get an agitation degree?
- 3:50Speaker 2: And maybe you do?
- 3:51Speaker 5: Asks the guy who is a professional agitator.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Agitator it's true, okay, yes, all right, so will back
- 4:01Speaker 3: and and yeah is here? Good morning and good morning,
- 4:05Speaker 3: good morning.
- 4:05Speaker 6: And uh, cono, your car blew up? Unfortunately it did.
- 4:09Speaker 6: I'm off to get a new one today. So are
- 4:11Speaker 6: you Tolo Chevrolet? I will be there.
- 4:14Speaker 4: So it was more than three thousand and it was.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Sixteen thousand dollars in the repairs. The engine blew up.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Oh my god, it blew up. Was there no oil
- 4:24Speaker 6: in the engine or just no?
- 4:25Speaker 2: They I don't know.
- 4:26Speaker 6: I don't know anything about engines. They said it was
- 4:28Speaker 6: a compression and the there was a turbo line, there
- 4:32Speaker 6: was a crack in the engine, and then I don't
- 4:35Speaker 6: know you can't.
- 4:36Speaker 2: You can't just go to Toys r Us and get
- 4:37Speaker 2: another one.
- 4:39Speaker 3: No, Neil, nope, Neil.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Is this breaking you by the way, Oh my god?
- 4:44Speaker 6: Yes, I don't know if I can work here much longer.
- 4:48Speaker 6: We'll see what the pay that I get here.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sorry about that. Yeah, that's no fun. You get,
- 4:54Speaker 3: you know, even you get the feeling it, the pity
- 4:57Speaker 3: your stomach when this thing. I wouldn't want to be
- 5:01Speaker 3: there just as the thing blew. And you knew, if
- 5:05Speaker 3: instantly that this was a major, major, major problem, did
- 5:09Speaker 3: you not.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 6: I've never had to get off on the freeway and
- 5:12Speaker 6: then I've had my check ins on like turn on,
- 5:14Speaker 6: but this one started flashing and blinking, and then my
- 5:17Speaker 6: car started shaking, and then I was like, this is
- 5:19Speaker 6: this is not good?
- 5:20Speaker 2: That's not good.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's a shame. All right, Uh, what is
- 5:25Speaker 3: else going on?
- 5:26Speaker 2: Let me see?
- 5:27Speaker 3: Oh and the football games. I watched a bunch of footballs.
- 5:31Speaker 3: The winner the winners did win, and on the other side,
- 5:35Speaker 3: the losers didn't do as well. There's my analysis for
- 5:39Speaker 3: the football games I watched, and I was by myself.
- 5:43Speaker 3: It was really great. Lindsay went off and spent the
- 5:46Speaker 3: evening with a friend of hers and man, I couch potato,
- 5:50Speaker 3: Like you could not believe my couch potato. It was spectacular.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Sometimes I didn't even get up to pe. I mean
- 5:58Speaker 3: it was it was serious, relaxing, very strong, very very strong.
- 6:06Speaker 2: You know, I'm.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Thinking of, you know what, I'm sitting there, I'm thinking
- 6:10Speaker 3: of getting depends just to sort of sit.
- 6:12Speaker 5: There and not have to get out by that, to
- 6:14Speaker 5: allow you to relax even more deeply.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yes, yes, all right, guys, here we go. We start,
- 6:21Speaker 3: and of course news like crazy over the weekend.
- 6:25Speaker 2: There's no such thing as.
- 6:26Speaker 3: A weekend anymore that doesn't have massive news.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So let's do it.
- 6:29Speaker 3: It's time for handle on the news. Amy Neil is
- 6:32Speaker 3: back and me lead story. Law.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Well, here's here's another one.
- 6:40Speaker 3: As you know, Donald Trump has gone, uh, let's say,
- 6:45Speaker 3: he's gone pretty much against FED Chairman Jerome Powell because
- 6:50Speaker 3: Jerome Powell would not lower the interest rates as quickly
- 6:54Speaker 3: and as significantly as the Donald Trump wanted. So guess what,
- 7:00Speaker 3: just Apartment has just opened a criminal investigation against your
- 7:04Speaker 3: own Powell. And this had to do with the bank's
- 7:08Speaker 3: renovation of its headquarters. And why is that Well, he
- 7:13Speaker 3: lied to Congress about it. So interestingly enough, President Trump
- 7:20Speaker 3: originally nominated Paul Powell to service FED chair during his
- 7:24Speaker 3: first term in twenty seventeen, and then went south on
- 7:27Speaker 3: him because Powell wouldn't do exactly what Trump says. There
- 7:32Speaker 3: was no such thing as an independent agency in the
- 7:35Speaker 3: United States anymore.
- 7:36Speaker 2: It doesn't exist.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Those agencies that were had a record of being independent,
- 7:42Speaker 3: were set up to be at least quasi independent. The
- 7:45Speaker 3: FBI went in that direction, Department of Justice, the FED,
- 7:49Speaker 3: the CDC, all of that has disappeared now.
- 7:52Speaker 2: It is all part of the executive branch.
- 7:54Speaker 3: And if you don't like what Trump does, the tar
- 7:58Speaker 3: Department of Justice immediately start. It's a criminal investigation. It's fine,
- 8:03Speaker 3: isn't it.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I'm wondering.
- 8:08Speaker 7: For the next administration, are they going to continue down
- 8:13Speaker 7: this path or things will go back to normal.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It depends depends if it's a if it's a Republican
- 8:19Speaker 3: who will be handpicked by President Trump. Believe me, he's
- 8:22Speaker 3: still going to control the Republican Party. If it is
- 8:26Speaker 3: a Republican, it will do exactly the same as it
- 8:29Speaker 3: is now. And I'm wondering is Trump going to call?
- 8:32Speaker 3: Is Trump going to hold the cards? Is he going
- 8:35Speaker 3: to be this Fengali? Is he going to be the
- 8:38Speaker 3: robes Pierre, which, by the way, is a brand name
- 8:43Speaker 3: for a really good robe that you get at the
- 8:47Speaker 3: high end, you know, the high end hotels. I didn't know,
- 8:50Speaker 3: you knew that he would be, but the power behind
- 8:54Speaker 3: the scenes that I believe, and if it's a Democrat,
- 8:58Speaker 3: we're going back to normal, but undoing what Trump has done,
- 9:03Speaker 3: for example, completely redoing the White House, completely remaking the
- 9:07Speaker 3: White House, and it will be you'll see signs in
- 9:10Speaker 3: front of the White House. It will be the Donald J.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Trump White House. I guarantee that he does. You're laughing,
- 9:18Speaker 3: you're laughing. Wait till that happens, Amy, Okay.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Well, they'll just take it down after he's done.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. That's true.
- 9:27Speaker 7: Let's make a deal or else. Apparently that is the
- 9:31Speaker 7: message from President Trump to Cuba. He posted on social
- 9:37Speaker 7: media there will be no more oil or money going
- 9:40Speaker 7: to Cuba. Zero, and then he went on to say,
- 9:43Speaker 7: I strongly suggest they make a deal before it's too late.
- 9:49Speaker 7: He said, no more Venezuelan oil is going to Cuba.
- 9:52Speaker 7: And Cuba relies heavily on Venezuelan oil.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder how many, how much, how many drugs
- 9:59Speaker 3: are going in the United States from Cuba, and I
- 10:02Speaker 3: don't know for certainly from Colombia and certainly from Venezuela
- 10:06Speaker 3: in the world of cocaine, but also certainly from Mexico.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And President Trump is as he said, we have Venezuela
- 10:18Speaker 3: nexus Colombia, then Mexico, then Cuba. And let's not forget
- 10:23Speaker 3: Deraan that he is considering military action. And I don't
- 10:27Speaker 3: know anybody who doesn't believe he is serious. So much
- 10:31Speaker 3: for America first, and we're not going to get in
- 10:33Speaker 3: foreign affairs, all right, guys. And by the way, I
- 10:37Speaker 3: agree with him in a couple of instances. I have
- 10:40Speaker 3: no problem with nailing Mexico and nailing Colombia and nailing Venezuela.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Drugs are coming in. And then the argument, will Americans
- 10:49Speaker 3: want drugs? Okay, so what Americans want drugs? In the meantime,
- 10:54Speaker 3: they're that dangerous, so many people died. We're going to
- 10:56Speaker 3: shut down not only the process but the importation.
- 11:00Speaker 2: You know, a lot of people think that way.
- 11:01Speaker 3: It's just it's a different way of doing business clearly, Okay,
- 11:04Speaker 3: keep your.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Views to yourself and don't drive through crowds chaos.
- 11:09Speaker 2: If you saw it.
- 11:10Speaker 5: A driver allegedly plowed a U haul into a crowd
- 11:14Speaker 5: just yesterday during this anti Iranian regime rally.
- 11:17Speaker 2: This was near the.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Federal Building or what I call the Blurry Building. You
- 11:21Speaker 5: see it off of the four or five and at
- 11:23Speaker 5: the right ankle. Because of the way it's built, it
- 11:26Speaker 5: looks blurry. Anyways, if you lived here any like the
- 11:29Speaker 5: time drive by, that's what's about. But eventually law enforcement
- 11:34Speaker 5: at the scene pulled demand from the U haul, appeared
- 11:38Speaker 5: to take him into custody. People were trying to hit
- 11:40Speaker 5: him with their fists, of course, and then I think
- 11:43Speaker 5: some flagpoles and for some reason, and I don't know
- 11:47Speaker 5: that i've heard anything about this amy if you have,
- 11:50Speaker 5: there was a guy on top of the U haul.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Did you see the video someone's riding on top of
- 11:56Speaker 5: the U haul.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Was he riding on there or did he climb on
- 11:58Speaker 7: there when they were trailing touch the driver and drag.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Him out of the But he was on top of there,
- 12:05Speaker 2: and it.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Had signs on the side of it as well.
- 12:09Speaker 2: It was it was part of a counter protest I
- 12:11Speaker 2: would imagine.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Was.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I don't think anybody has hurt that badly.
- 12:16Speaker 7: No, there were two people who were had minor injuries,
- 12:19Speaker 7: but they didn't even go to the hospital or anything.
- 12:21Speaker 7: They were really lucky because there's about three thousand people there,
- 12:24Speaker 7: No kidding, Nothing peaceful about these protests. Unfortunately, human rights
- 12:34Speaker 7: groups are now saying that more than five hundred people
- 12:37Speaker 7: have been killed in Iran, the biggest demonstrations in the
- 12:42Speaker 7: country since two thy twenty two. President Trump has been
- 12:46Speaker 7: threatening to intervene if force is used on protesters, and
- 12:49Speaker 7: it appears that force is being used on protesters. They
- 12:53Speaker 7: can't verify the numbers because Iran's saying, hey, everything's peaceful,
- 12:57Speaker 7: and we are getting videos out of Iran because people
- 13:01Speaker 7: are using starlink. Isn't that amazing because they've cut off
- 13:04Speaker 7: the Internet out of Iran, but they're getting videos out
- 13:07Speaker 7: and showing that the protests are huge and they've spread
- 13:10Speaker 7: to all over the country.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yeah, not only the Internet, landlines are being cut, any
- 13:17Speaker 3: kind of communication. I mean, these are incredible protests with
- 13:22Speaker 3: insane numbers, and they're using water canon there. I mean,
- 13:25Speaker 3: they're shooting people. As you said, five hundred people dead,
- 13:28Speaker 3: arresting people. Ten thousand people have been arrested. And now
- 13:33Speaker 3: you have the moo laws, the regime really attacking its
- 13:38Speaker 3: own people. And we'll see how far this goes depends
- 13:42Speaker 3: on the army. If the Revolutionary Guard turns the other way,
- 13:45Speaker 3: and it won't, You're going to see many, many people
- 13:50Speaker 3: end up being killed and or arrested. And it's going
- 13:53Speaker 3: to be tough for those people. We now have a
- 13:56Speaker 3: not only an autocratic regime which they have to live on,
- 14:00Speaker 3: but a brutal regime where if you say anything, uh,
- 14:05Speaker 3: and protests against the government, you're gonna get killed or arrested.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And it's it's very very way. Are you talking about Iran? Yeah, yeah, I'm.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Talking about Iran and the and President Trump is saying
- 14:18Speaker 3: that we're gonna, you know, talk about military intervention now America. First,
- 14:23Speaker 3: this has to do not that Iran is a threat
- 14:25Speaker 3: in the United States. Uh. This is simply to protect
- 14:28Speaker 3: those people that are being attacked by the regime. And
- 14:32Speaker 3: Iran says that if there is an attack, then military bases,
- 14:38Speaker 3: American and Israeli military bases will be attacked.
- 14:41Speaker 2: They're not gonna there's not gonna be boots on the ground.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Iran is not going to fight any other way other
- 14:47Speaker 3: than sending drones and missiles and suicide bombers. Uh, that
- 14:51Speaker 3: they're going to do. And Israel, God help them. Israel
- 14:54Speaker 3: has no compunction with this government to go in and
- 14:59Speaker 3: smash the health lot of anything it can in Iran.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Things are getting really dicey for sure.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Over there.
- 15:06Speaker 5: You think Trump's walking back and forth in the Oval
- 15:09Speaker 5: office going how can they get to just shoot protesters?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:16Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, all right, So the Department of Homeland Security,
- 15:20Speaker 5: they are blocking lawmakers from visiting an immigration detention facility
- 15:24Speaker 5: there in Minneapolis.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Now, this is a weird thing.
- 15:28Speaker 5: So there is a law that allows this is a
- 15:31Speaker 5: federal law that allows members of Congress, gives them the
- 15:35Speaker 5: right to make unannounced visits to immigration and Customs enforcement
- 15:39Speaker 5: detention facilities, so that can happen. However, a January eighth
- 15:45Speaker 5: memo went out from Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nome and
- 15:51Speaker 5: this is saying, what a loophole that the money is
- 15:54Speaker 5: coming from the one Big Beautiful Act Bill on these
- 15:58Speaker 5: detention facilities. So it's a different bucket than federal funds,
- 16:02Speaker 5: and therefore the policy doesn't apply to them, and now
- 16:07Speaker 5: they have to give seven days or more.
- 16:09Speaker 3: No, it's a complete croc because this is a bill
- 16:12Speaker 3: from Congress and Gnome is just making this up.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Okay, it's all federal money.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah, everything is dealing with ICE's federal money and those
- 16:21Speaker 3: detention centers. So if it comes from A instead of B,
- 16:24Speaker 3: therefore we have the right to stop members of Congress
- 16:28Speaker 3: and their overseeing abilities. I mean, this it's just so insane.
- 16:33Speaker 3: It's just well, why not, you know, it's just so insane.
- 16:37Speaker 3: It doesn't stop. It does not stop. And the only
- 16:41Speaker 3: thing I'm very, very upset about Christinaham because that cowboy
- 16:45Speaker 3: hat she wore at her first press conference after the
- 16:48Speaker 3: shooting was not quite big enough. I thought it should
- 16:51Speaker 3: be a lot bigger. I should have worn a ten
- 16:55Speaker 3: gallon stetson. Do you remember brands of the television show
- 17:00Speaker 3: If you ever watch TV coss with that ten gallon hat, I.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Wish you would. That's a big old hat. Yeah, it is.
- 17:12Speaker 7: Is Greenland up for grabs. Danish Prime minister says his
- 17:19Speaker 7: country is at a crossroads and is accused the US
- 17:21Speaker 7: of turning it's back on NATO. Her comments come ahead
- 17:26Speaker 7: of her visit. Actually, the foreign ministers of Denmark and
- 17:31Speaker 7: Greenland planning to meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
- 17:35Speaker 4: I believe it's set for tomorrow. They're supposed to do
- 17:37Speaker 4: that Friday.
- 17:38Speaker 7: Trump said the US would take action on Greenland, whether
- 17:41Speaker 7: they like it or not.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, if they don't sell themselves to US, if Denmark
- 17:46Speaker 3: doesn't sell US Greenland, then the possibility of military intervention.
- 17:51Speaker 3: First of all, does anybody not believe about President Trump
- 17:54Speaker 3: when he says that. Second of all, I gotta tell you,
- 17:57Speaker 3: Greenland is going to put up a hell of a
- 17:58Speaker 3: fight because it has fifty seven thousand people comp that's
- 18:03Speaker 3: the entire population. And it's Denmark that provides the military defense.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Greenland doesn't have its own military. And and Amy guessed
- 18:14Speaker 3: correctly when when I asked how many Danish soldiers are
- 18:19Speaker 3: there for the defense of Greenland. One hundred to two
- 18:24Speaker 3: hundred Danish soldiers are there in defense of Greenland, Okay,
- 18:29Speaker 3: And so how much of a fight you think they're
- 18:32Speaker 3: going to be putting up between one hundred and two
- 18:34Speaker 3: hundred people soldiers against the US military.
- 18:38Speaker 5: Is it true that Trump says that we no longer
- 18:40Speaker 5: can call the pastry a Danish.
- 18:42Speaker 2: It has to be called the Freedoms or the Americans. Yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Oh, remember when we renamed French fries.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yeah, freedom fries, Freedom fries, that's true. And now we're
- 18:52Speaker 3: back to French fries. Yeah, I remember that. And there
- 18:56Speaker 3: was a big move calling him surrender Fries and that
- 19:00Speaker 3: team very very close.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Okay, guys, all right.
- 19:03Speaker 5: We all think about the heat and the fire and
- 19:06Speaker 5: the flames when it comes to firefighters, but we very
- 19:09Speaker 5: rarely think about their lungs. Of a Pastena firefighter who
- 19:13Speaker 5: battled the Eaton fire says a twelve week detox program
- 19:17Speaker 5: lowered several talksin levels in his blood. And the crazy
- 19:20Speaker 5: thing is they are measuring all the health risks of
- 19:24Speaker 5: the firefighters, and of course it's dangerous, but they're showing
- 19:29Speaker 5: that these wildfires last year showed these toxins in the
- 19:33Speaker 5: smoke changing their proteins, the actual proteins in the firefighters
- 19:37Speaker 5: blood with elevated levels of lead, you know, And well, yeah, I'll.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Think of all those old houses.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Yeah it would be the old houses.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I still have lead, but you're not going to see
- 19:50Speaker 3: much lead in anything what passed when they stop using lead.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Certainly in the paint. They stopped using lead in the seventies,
- 19:57Speaker 2: so I mean good.
- 19:58Speaker 5: Yeah, And you're talking about layers so many as somebody
- 20:01Speaker 5: who has a hundred year old plus house. There's so
- 20:03Speaker 5: many layers that there's actual if you're painting over something,
- 20:08Speaker 5: it's different versus if it's burning and all the stuff
- 20:11Speaker 5: inside the house.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Is that like why you stagger around the house like Frankenstein.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Yeah? And my skin is green? Yeah, yeah, every much.
- 20:21Speaker 4: This one flew under the radar.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 20:25Speaker 7: The mobile Airborne Command Post is the plane the president
- 20:31Speaker 7: is supposed to fly around if there's a nuclear war.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Well, guess what.
- 20:35Speaker 7: It landed at Lax on Thursday evening. Apparently Defense Secretary
- 20:42Speaker 7: Pete Hegseth and MAGA influencer Laura Lumer were on board.
- 20:47Speaker 7: The Boeing EPO Advanced Airborne Command Post is known as
- 20:51Speaker 7: the doomsday plane.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Yeah, now, let me throw something at you. This is
- 20:54Speaker 3: probably the most expensive airplane that exists in the Air
- 20:57Speaker 3: Force because this is the command center that should be
- 21:01Speaker 3: next to or near the president. So you have Pete
- 21:04Speaker 3: Hegseth and this is under the auspices of the Air Force.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Pete Hexass instead of flying like one of those gulf
- 21:10Speaker 3: Stream jets that the Air Force has, or even a
- 21:13Speaker 3: seven thirty seven business jet kind of jet. Decides to
- 21:17Speaker 3: take the Doomsday plane, which coses zillion dollars an hour,
- 21:20Speaker 3: because he is a jerk, and he puts guests on
- 21:24Speaker 3: it and it went. Of course, the internet exploded on this.
- 21:28Speaker 3: It's just him being insufferable. No other defense secretary would.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Ever do that.
- 21:34Speaker 3: It is made to be near the president in case
- 21:37Speaker 3: of an atomic attack.
- 21:38Speaker 2: You know what. He uses that as private plane. Why not?
- 21:41Speaker 3: You know, let's enjoy ourselves. And it costs what half
- 21:44Speaker 3: a million dollars an hour to run it? Just it
- 21:48Speaker 3: doesn't stop with this administration, It really doesn't.
- 21:51Speaker 2: You're going to airb and be it.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah plane, Yeah, you can charter it to go overseas
- 21:57Speaker 3: as you can do.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, just I no know what do you do with
- 22:03Speaker 2: this stuff? So yeah, it freaked the hell out of everybody,
- 22:06Speaker 2: but it did.
- 22:07Speaker 3: But when you think about it, the Doom is a
- 22:10Speaker 3: plane flying three thousand miles away from Washington, d C.
- 22:15Speaker 3: That means that the government is pretty secure that there
- 22:18Speaker 3: is not a pending atomic.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Well there's more than one, there's not just one of them.
- 22:23Speaker 3: There's one.
- 22:24Speaker 2: There's one doom sa plan you sure absolutely?
- 22:29Speaker 3: Wow?
- 22:29Speaker 4: Money would it be if he needed it?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:32Speaker 3: Oh my god, that would be what's it?
- 22:34Speaker 4: Plane back here?
- 22:35Speaker 1: Now?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be hilarious.
- 22:38Speaker 2: That the word I would use.
- 22:39Speaker 3: How funny would it be? It would be hilarious.
- 22:42Speaker 4: It would be really funny if we really needed it,
- 22:44Speaker 4: right Yeah?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:46Speaker 3: The controls, Yeah, well you never know because you have
- 22:48Speaker 3: Laura Lumer, who is on that airplane that can certainly
- 22:51Speaker 3: make decisions, presidential decisions.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Why not? I woulday moving af fly.
- 22:56Speaker 5: I'd fly these planes all over the places to make
- 22:58Speaker 5: people nervous.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Hey, if you're gonna if you're gonna use counterfeit, do
- 23:02Speaker 5: it for a double double.
- 23:04Speaker 2: I'm in Glendale.
- 23:06Speaker 5: Police announced Friday that these two women suspected of using
- 23:10Speaker 5: counterfeit money went to about a dozen or so in
- 23:14Speaker 5: and out locations in Los Angeles and Orange, Orange County.
- 23:18Speaker 5: I think they were buying gift certificates, almost like laundering it,
- 23:22Speaker 5: you know, things like that. But they were seen in
- 23:25Speaker 5: this surveillance video. You have two of these gals, twenty
- 23:30Speaker 5: four and twenty six year old, both from Long Beach,
- 23:34Speaker 5: and I guess they popped around to a bunch of
- 23:36Speaker 5: these the arrest. Originally pair they targeted in and out location.
- 23:40Speaker 5: I know this one on Brand Boulevard there in Glendale,
- 23:42Speaker 5: I think October twenty fifth, and then they were caught.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Well In and Out is coming back fighting back with
- 23:50Speaker 3: you come in with a counterfeit bill, they give you
- 23:52Speaker 3: a counterfeit burger.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It'd be funny if they gave him a big mac.
- 23:57Speaker 2: There you go, you're gonna give it's gonna give us
- 23:59Speaker 2: fake bill. We're going to give you a fake burger.
- 24:02Speaker 2: All right.
- 24:04Speaker 7: So how do you beat Celine Dion singing on the
- 24:08Speaker 7: Eiffel Tower?
- 24:09Speaker 4: Can it be done? They're going to try.
- 24:12Speaker 7: When they opened the Winter Olympics in Milan, Cortina Andre
- 24:16Speaker 7: Baccelli will be among the headline performers I love him
- 24:20Speaker 7: at the opening ceremony. Mariah Carey has already been announced
- 24:24Speaker 7: and the opening ceremonies are happening February sixth at Milan's
- 24:28Speaker 7: Landmark Stand zero Soccer Stadium.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 3: That seems to be a new way of doing opening
- 24:35Speaker 3: and closing ceremonies, is doing it in different locations, and
- 24:39Speaker 3: it's kind of neat. The win in Paris was tremendous
- 24:42Speaker 3: along the Sane River. Andre Bucelli. I mean, that's going
- 24:46Speaker 3: to be really interesting because he's going to be on
- 24:48Speaker 3: stage navigating an obstacle course while he is singing.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Put a little action into the entertainment there. Moving on alrighty,
- 25:00Speaker 2: So we.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Need we need snow, we need some skiing, we need
- 25:05Speaker 5: all those things. In Mountain High, that ski resort that
- 25:08Speaker 5: we all know and love, reopened Saturday. They were closed
- 25:12Speaker 5: for two weeks because the storm that hit during New
- 25:17Speaker 5: Year's or Christmas Eve rather soap, knocked out power for
- 25:21Speaker 5: thousands of Edison customers and they were one of them.
- 25:25Speaker 5: And now they're back up and running. It's still it
- 25:28Speaker 5: hasn't been. It's been cold up in these areas, but
- 25:31Speaker 5: not Oh I was just in Big Bear. Not a
- 25:34Speaker 5: lot of snow. A lot of man made stuff on,
- 25:36Speaker 5: you know, some of the hills, but not a lot
- 25:38Speaker 5: of snow.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Mountain High is that near Big Bear?
- 25:43Speaker 2: It's right Wood. It's a different area. Oh okay.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I was just wondering because there there seems to be
- 25:49Speaker 3: a lot of snow there.
- 25:51Speaker 7: So well, there's a lot of snow there because of
- 25:53Speaker 7: snowmaking machines.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Oh okay, Yeah, they're.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Relying heavily on the snowmaking machines this year.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Ayeh, way, are the costs of snow cones really cheap
- 26:02Speaker 3: in those areas?
- 26:03Speaker 2: They just you reuse it. You just put a cone
- 26:06Speaker 2: underneath them. They're like, yeah, there's put some juice in it.
- 26:10Speaker 2: You're fine, kid.
- 26:12Speaker 7: People aren't the only ones who think California has gone
- 26:15Speaker 7: to the dogs. One hundred and eighty three dogs have
- 26:19Speaker 7: flown out of the state by Wings of Rescue. They
- 26:23Speaker 7: took them in the middle of the night out of
- 26:25Speaker 7: southern California because the shelters here are so overcrowded. They
- 26:30Speaker 7: needed to relieve some of that pressure, and so the
- 26:32Speaker 7: dogs were flown to trusted rescue partners in several states,
- 26:36Speaker 7: including in New York, Maine, Pennsylvania, and also the Greater
- 26:39Speaker 7: Chicago area.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yeah, this is so cool.
- 26:41Speaker 3: I think a lot of these planes are flown by
- 26:47Speaker 3: owner pilots that they actually dedicate their planes to do that.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It's just really neat this program.
- 26:55Speaker 7: And it's tragic too though, that the shelters are so overcrowded.
- 26:59Speaker 7: These dogs adoptable, they're healthy, they're happy, but they're running
- 27:03Speaker 7: out of time because our shelters are so overcrowded.
- 27:06Speaker 2: That's the heartbreaker.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and you take a perfectly healthy dog and you
- 27:09Speaker 3: have to destroy it, and it's just horrible. Are they
- 27:13Speaker 3: destroy dogs? They put down dogs? They never kill dogs.
- 27:17Speaker 2: It's just a.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Euphemism that they use to well, I guess we don't
- 27:23Speaker 3: want to deal with we're going to kill a dog.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Yeah's when the cops neutralize a situation.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, you know. So is this just three
- 27:33Speaker 2: card monty?
- 27:34Speaker 5: Are they just moving them around to different shelters that are.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Ye keeping them from from because.
- 27:41Speaker 3: They're more adoptable, they're in they're in shelters where they're
- 27:45Speaker 3: not going to be killed for the most part.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Maybe this.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Do they fly them to no kill shelters? I'll bet
- 27:51Speaker 3: you they do.
- 27:52Speaker 2: You'd imagine otherwise what's doating.
- 27:54Speaker 4: In areas where it's not as as crowded?
- 27:57Speaker 2: Right, that's what I think.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Do they get out of this shelter and go where's
- 28:01Speaker 4: my sunshine?
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:03Speaker 4: What's all the snow?
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yeah? All right?
- 28:07Speaker 5: The Rams they're going to be playing the Chicago Bears.
- 28:10Speaker 5: It's the Bears in an NFC Divisional Round game this Sunday,
- 28:16Speaker 5: Soldier Field in Chicago where Will just got back from.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Yeah, anybody saw the Chargers game yesterday?
- 28:25Speaker 2: Chargers? Yeah? Justin Herbert? Is that who it is? Who played?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Is he the quarterback? How dare you? Okay?
- 28:36Speaker 3: So it was Justin Herbert. He was basically he played
- 28:39Speaker 3: worse than a high school quarterback.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Wasn't his fault?
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yeah? He just couldn't anyway. I just I'm not a
- 28:46Speaker 3: football in nut as you know, So what the hell
- 28:48Speaker 3: do I know? Here's an oh bit which is really
- 28:52Speaker 3: depressing because I'm a huge fan.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 7: One of the founding members of The Grateful Dead, Bob Weir,
- 28:59Speaker 7: has died. His family announced his death in a statement
- 29:02Speaker 7: on Saturday, saying he had succumbed to underlying lung issues
- 29:06Speaker 7: after he got a cancer diagnosis back in July. He
- 29:09Speaker 7: was seventy eight years old.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, which is way too young. In any case, they
- 29:16Speaker 3: had a following like Jimmy Buffett does with parrot heads.
- 29:21Speaker 3: You got to these are dead heads. What makes this
- 29:23Speaker 3: one differently? These fans are actually dead?
- 29:31Speaker 2: Were we done?
- 29:34Speaker 5: I would hope, so I tell one more story if
- 29:36Speaker 5: you wish.
- 29:37Speaker 2: No, I think we're finished.
- 29:38Speaker 3: I think we're completely Yeah, We're completely done. KFI Am sixty.
