- 0:01Speaker 1: The Hodache Big show with toledos all the good stuff.
- 0:05Speaker 2: No nasties try it today. Hey, fella's got some breaking news,
- 0:09Speaker 2: little g.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Sure man, this is breaking news, fellas. Someone's gotten in
- 0:20Speaker 3: trouble for importing the old cocaine.
- 0:23Speaker 4: No, can I just ask a.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Question here, KIZI alright, I barely read the article, but yeah.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Just how breaking is this news?
- 0:30Speaker 2: It's two days ago?
- 0:33Speaker 5: No?
- 0:33Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, cool?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Not good for us? Yeah, it's pretty good for us.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Twenty one year old New's theillly man appearing in Sydney
- 0:38Speaker 3: court charged with importing twenty kgs of cocaine into Australia
- 0:43Speaker 3: through Sydney, all of it concealed in his luggage, but
- 0:45Speaker 3: not really concealed, just in there with his clothes with
- 0:48Speaker 3: the shot so twenty kgs twenty two vacuum sealed packages.
- 0:53Speaker 3: He has a maximum sentence that he can be facing
- 0:56Speaker 3: life in prison.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I could be facing life, and that's right. It's a while.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Is it life like twenty five years get out in
- 1:06Speaker 5: ten or is it life?
- 1:07Speaker 2: Life? I mean I always thought life in prison? Was
- 1:10Speaker 2: he there till you die? A life sentence could be
- 1:14Speaker 2: eight years for this or ten years for.
- 1:16Speaker 5: That so he's obviously gone into this thinking, Look, I'm
- 1:21Speaker 5: not gonna overthink this. I'm just gonna see if I.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Can get through.
- 1:26Speaker 3: I'm just gonna put twenty cages of cocaine in my
- 1:29Speaker 3: bag and catch a flight and hope.
- 1:31Speaker 2: For the best. And this is the thing though, But
- 1:33Speaker 2: this is the thing. It's when you go to the airport,
- 1:36Speaker 2: you've come through international. They pulled some people aside. Ye
- 1:39Speaker 2: have your been? You know? I went over to Magic Round?
- 1:42Speaker 2: How was it? Your good things? All right? You can
- 1:44Speaker 2: go out? Yeah, and then they're like one in ten
- 1:47Speaker 2: or two out of ten or whatever it might be.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Go I we'll go over here and we'll get over
- 1:50Speaker 2: geeze in your luggage. So he's just thinking of himself.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Jeezz olds are pretty good. But the issue is Magic
- 1:56Speaker 2: Rounds in may that.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just on that front. I mean
- 2:00Speaker 5: they go through my luggage every time, and you know.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Why because you've got lighters in there too.
- 2:04Speaker 5: It happened to me again the last time. If it
- 2:06Speaker 5: was like five lighters in the.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Bag, how was the street value on something? Got that? Keysy?
- 2:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you'd know that kezy, wouldn't you it?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Did they give you a street value. Brother, I'll be
- 2:15Speaker 2: amazed if the street value in that article six point
- 2:18Speaker 2: three million dollars.
- 2:20Speaker 5: And how many packages did you say?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Twenty two vacuum sealed, So I.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Reckon one of those packages. You'd suck up that snares
- 2:26Speaker 5: and quick smart time, Keezy, Hey.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Good stuff, Jason. We were discussing it off here.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 3: The key to actually getting through the border was something
- 2:40Speaker 3: illicit on your person. So if you had, you know,
- 2:42Speaker 3: one of those, you put it. Huh, I know where
- 2:45Speaker 3: you'd put it?
- 2:45Speaker 2: Where? Man, here's the see it up your honker?
- 2:49Speaker 3: Ah yeaheah, yeah, I only fit the one though you
- 2:51Speaker 3: could fit. But the way you'd have to behave you're
- 2:56Speaker 3: you guys reckon because you guys did some drug muling
- 2:59Speaker 3: back in the day. You guys reckon that you just
- 3:00Speaker 3: have to be loud and confident and yeah, yes.
- 3:03Speaker 2: And you're always pretty confident with a couple of grams
- 3:05Speaker 2: of vault. Charlie up your honk, you know, yeah, h
- 3:07Speaker 2: you're nous and Charlie in your backside.
- 3:10Speaker 4: You've done it because he's a thing. Keezy absolutely is
- 3:14Speaker 4: that he's a mad bust.
- 3:15Speaker 5: You know, they're looking for people that are trying to
- 3:17Speaker 5: go under the radar, right, So just sort.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Of just looking for a very nervous sweat shift.
- 3:25Speaker 5: If you go in there and you're bit chattery, you're
- 3:26Speaker 5: a bit s, you get and all that sort of
- 3:28Speaker 5: stuff I go. I mean, they're obviously not smuggling drugs
- 3:32Speaker 5: because they're getting a lot of attention.
- 3:34Speaker 3: What if you like acted like you were so hungover
- 3:36Speaker 3: in fact, the night before you just had a massive session,
- 3:39Speaker 3: so that you're literally going through the chat and you're
- 3:41Speaker 3: just like, oh my god, I'm so hungover.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I just need to get through. That's not good either,
- 3:44Speaker 2: because they might think that the one of the condoms
- 3:47Speaker 2: is burst open and your bow. That's another way that
- 3:51Speaker 2: you smuggle at Keyzy. You fill out some rubbid Joey's
- 3:55Speaker 2: with cocaine there and then you swallow them. You're going
- 3:57Speaker 2: to suck them down into your stomach, into your something there.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I always reckon double bagging. I recommend double bagging
- 4:05Speaker 2: because you don't want to boost in there.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, funnily now back in the day, because I've
- 4:08Speaker 5: got a really high gag reflex.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So like you've got a very sensitive wondering Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Like anything coming down my throat like that. Yeah, so
- 4:18Speaker 5: i'd have to go the other end obviously.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah, some things you respond well to. You've got no
- 4:23Speaker 2: gig flicks whatsoever them in there.
- 4:26Speaker 5: I think I've got about forty two kg at one
- 4:28Speaker 5: point of what cocaine? Ah?
- 4:33Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, cool, sweet, just chicken, just because I reckon
- 4:39Speaker 2: you crack under pressure though, kizy.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I reckon you'd freak out.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Man.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Feller's come on, now you would why we do
- 4:46Speaker 3: it as an improv. Then I'll show you. I'll show you,
- 4:49Speaker 3: I'll show you. I'll show you. It's going to Crack
- 4:51Speaker 3: under Pressure.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 4:58Speaker 2: So anyway you're saying that you're going to Vietnam on.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I'm going to Vietnam with my girls? Just one question? Yes,
- 5:06Speaker 5: when's that? That's in about not long away actually three weeks. Yeah, man,
- 5:12Speaker 5: so that's going to be awesome. But I tell you what,
- 5:15Speaker 5: I was brought down to earth today. I had to
- 5:17Speaker 5: go and get my shots. You know, your overseas shots
- 5:21Speaker 5: were when you're traveling in various locations. Boy oh boy,
- 5:25Speaker 5: not cheap fellows.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Hell, Yes, several hundred some of them. Mark, What did
- 5:32Speaker 2: you get.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Well, obviously, the chlamyde you need that where you're going syphilis.
- 5:41Speaker 5: The syphilis one really shocked me.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I don't know you could you can you get a
- 5:45Speaker 2: shot for that? Yeah, you can only get the shot
- 5:48Speaker 2: once you already had it, so you get it and
- 5:50Speaker 2: then they give you the shot. I know I was preventative.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I thought it was, you know, sort of to cure
- 5:56Speaker 2: you of the of the ill.
- 5:57Speaker 4: No, no, you can get you can get a shot.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah right, Okay, isn't syphilis from like the Middle Ages?
- 6:04Speaker 4: It's still around gorge?
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yes, zy playing playing like he doesn't know what and
- 6:10Speaker 2: of course you you go ahead, you're gone. Yeah, right,
- 6:15Speaker 2: so that's colloquially no one is gone.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Yes, And can I tell you it gets?
- 6:25Speaker 4: How much they cost?
- 6:26Speaker 3: How much for those three? It's a syphilis, gonerria, chlamydia, Yes, three.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It should be free. I'm shocked at costs anything. Yeah,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I'm going to go two hundred dollars apart six.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Not too bad.
- 6:38Speaker 6: They're eight hundred, eight hundred dollars eight hundred bucks, which
- 6:45Speaker 6: is about sort of three quarters of the cost of
- 6:47Speaker 6: our ticket.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Wow, man, can I just you're not getting like the
- 6:52Speaker 3: other vaccines and shots and stuff for when you're in Vietnam,
- 6:55Speaker 3: the ones you probably should get, like rabies for example.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I think people get carried away with this stuff.
- 7:00Speaker 5: I just wanted to cover the essential. It's not like
- 7:04Speaker 5: he's going to spend any time with a dog.
- 7:06Speaker 2: No, But there's monkeys over there.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Yeah, look, I hate he's got the sef they're gone.
- 7:11Speaker 3: And no, but like because if they if they bite you,
- 7:16Speaker 3: you could get rabies and then it costs a fortune
- 7:18Speaker 3: to get the raby shot while you're over to stop.
- 7:20Speaker 5: It, Keezy, what are the chances of a monkey biting
- 7:23Speaker 5: hood J I don't know.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Five percent hippatitis a typhoid, because if they washed the
- 7:30Speaker 3: salad typhoid, it's like it's bad for your tum tum.
- 7:33Speaker 3: And if they washed the salad with water from the
- 7:35Speaker 3: tap and get poos on your food and.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Then you.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Right, yeah, you're not gonna.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Okay, sweet, isn't a big eater.
- 7:45Speaker 5: No, I'm not a big eater actually, right, And it's
- 7:47Speaker 5: only in the cargol. So I mean, you know, if
- 7:50Speaker 5: we thought.
- 7:51Speaker 2: You were going to Vietnam, you said you're going to Vietnam.
- 7:53Speaker 5: No in the car did I say Vietnam.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Did I.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Who actually big show with j Mike and Keysy tune
- 8:01Speaker 1: in week days at four on radio.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Hold Ike, Well, last night, as you probably will be aware,
- 8:06Speaker 5: we had our curry night with our respective partners coming
- 8:09Speaker 5: along too, which is nice.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Wasn't its once a year we do that? Yeah?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Once a year? Is that the first time? There's the
- 8:14Speaker 2: first time that we brought the partners along though, isn't it?
- 8:16Speaker 4: Is it? We've been to your place? Yeah?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and we went out to the comedy night as well.
- 8:22Speaker 2: We should do it more than once a year. Yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 2: we should as well. Yeah, I agree, Yeah, I agree
- 8:25Speaker 2: as well. It was bloody good. It was delicious. Can
- 8:28Speaker 2: I say that it was very good? We got seven curries.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I think people should know popad but a garlic nun
- 8:35Speaker 2: the hoidy j. You're a worried about people buying up
- 8:38Speaker 2: the alcohol?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:41Speaker 2: When't your mate?
- 8:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Because it was old Hody Jay's shout because he started
- 8:45Speaker 2: smoking when he said he wouldn't. So the punishment was
- 8:48Speaker 2: here to pay for all of us, including wives, to
- 8:50Speaker 2: go out for a curry night. What was what made
- 8:52Speaker 2: you choose that restaurant?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Well, I think you chose it.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I didn't choose it.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I was.
- 9:00Speaker 5: In terms of in terms of Indian restaurants, it's slightly
- 9:03Speaker 5: more upmarkets to say, but the meal was very nice.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I was very good. And that's what I thought was interesting,
- 9:08Speaker 2: was that we've been there before. We used to go.
- 9:11Speaker 2: We used to go and we'd go turn about. We
- 9:13Speaker 2: go to different restaurants and we go turn about. I
- 9:16Speaker 2: think last time maybe I recommended Oklcata, but it was
- 9:18Speaker 2: Keasy's turn to pay, and he was horrified by the price,
- 9:22Speaker 2: and you ended up going halves of them, Jase. And
- 9:24Speaker 2: then this time around, now that he knew that you
- 9:26Speaker 2: were paying, he recommended this one for you. And so
- 9:29Speaker 2: we've ended up at the most expensive curry joint. And
- 9:32Speaker 2: I just say, can just one hundred percent.
- 9:34Speaker 3: I was horrified by the place last time, and I
- 9:36Speaker 3: wasn't in a situation where I could actually afford a
- 9:38Speaker 3: dinner like that because my wife had just been made
- 9:41Speaker 3: redundant and all of a sudden, Moogi's picking the most
- 9:43Speaker 3: expensive Indian place.
- 9:45Speaker 2: So that's why.
- 9:46Speaker 3: But when we chose, when I chose this restaurant, I
- 9:48Speaker 3: chose it because it's nice, the partners are coming, and
- 9:50Speaker 3: also I fully intended to pay my shit, and we
- 9:53Speaker 3: even tried.
- 9:54Speaker 2: We tried to pay last night. We tried to go
- 9:57Speaker 2: thirds on.
- 9:57Speaker 5: It, and.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Howdy j you went having it man.
- 10:01Speaker 4: No manager went heavy fellows.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Thank you very much, generous, and the audio proved it.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Unfortunately there was there was no getting out of it
- 10:08Speaker 5: for Hoidy j and I was actually horrified when we
- 10:11Speaker 5: got there because Kezy was drinking the water and I.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Was like, CAZy, what are you doing? Mate? And you
- 10:16Speaker 4: know you got to have busies.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Well he was drinking the water because he knew he
- 10:20Speaker 2: was going to try and pay.
- 10:22Speaker 3: And then as soon as I was like, maybe Jace
- 10:24Speaker 3: might actually pay you in the red wine stuff the show.
- 10:28Speaker 5: What was the pinots you were getting there? I got
- 10:31Speaker 5: to admit, actually, mind, I don't know how you guys
- 10:33Speaker 5: feel about it. Back in the day, if I was
- 10:34Speaker 5: having a carry, I go bezzies.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yes you know what I mean.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm surprised by the ones everyone was on the wines.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Yes they were. But I'll tell you what was very nice.
- 10:43Speaker 5: At the end of it, I went, is that enough?
- 10:48Speaker 2: I I was edge of.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Going I could eat more, but actually was probably a
- 10:55Speaker 5: perfect amount.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Once I got home, I was like, no, I am full.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I'm happy, and you know, with carries you can just
- 11:00Speaker 3: keep going. I'll just dip another nurse and now I
- 11:02Speaker 3: have some more sauces.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Yeah, but you said that you smashed the reburger on
- 11:05Speaker 5: the way home as well. Why you were totally that's right,
- 11:11Speaker 5: you know we should we should do that more partners can.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I just say it was very fun having the seven
- 11:16Speaker 3: curries on off it all right?
- 11:18Speaker 2: It was really nice.
- 11:18Speaker 3: There was seven different curries. Everyone was having a bit
- 11:20Speaker 3: of everything. I liked two of them.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Oh wow, really?
- 11:23Speaker 5: Yes?
- 11:23Speaker 2: How many did you try?
- 11:24Speaker 3: I tried five I couldn't. I wasn't allowed to try
- 11:27Speaker 3: Pugs and his partners ones down the end of three.
- 11:30Speaker 2: That was off limits to you. I tried all three
- 11:33Speaker 2: of those, aren't Yeah? I know.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I certainly saw you trying everything. And then the ultra
- 11:37Speaker 3: hot Vindaloo tried that very nice, Yes, was good. And
- 11:39Speaker 3: then there was a seafood one. I don't like seafood,
- 11:41Speaker 3: and so the only ones I really have the saucer
- 11:43Speaker 3: of the dries, yeah, but the only ones I really
- 11:47Speaker 3: could it was the one I ordered, which was a
- 11:48Speaker 3: medium butter chicken. And of course everyone came to me
- 11:52Speaker 3: when I ordered it and then when it came out.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Just everyone orders just the butter chicken. We all like that,
- 12:00Speaker 2: let's just get that.
- 12:01Speaker 5: No, you're going to have a variety, to have a
- 12:03Speaker 5: pawn Mali for a seur and actually just on that
- 12:05Speaker 5: with because there were three carries down Pug Soun's in
- 12:08Speaker 5: which he'd ordered yeah, and I meant to get some
- 12:10Speaker 5: of that. He literally forked me in my hand. He
- 12:13Speaker 5: was just like shoved his fork in my head. I
- 12:15Speaker 5: was like, whoah, shocking man.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Yeah, but no, it's very good.
- 12:18Speaker 3: And when he went out and party, Tugshon got home
- 12:21Speaker 3: from the curry night after one am, He's ad about
- 12:24Speaker 3: two thirty cook to three yeah agen and he was saying, oh,
- 12:28Speaker 3: got a reburger on the way home.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Pretty crazy.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The Hodarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Played golf with Keyzy today.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Mate. Congratulations man, thanks man.
- 12:41Speaker 5: And it was really disappointing because I found something out
- 12:43Speaker 5: which I found quite hurtful. Oh yeah, really hurtful in
- 12:46Speaker 5: the fact because we we had to join up with
- 12:50Speaker 5: two other fellows because it was very busy. As on
- 12:53Speaker 5: a day like this, they said we want fools, He's
- 12:55Speaker 5: not not up here. And he was shouting to the
- 12:57Speaker 5: Fellers and he was talking about the fact that the
- 13:00Speaker 5: only reason that he actually plays with me Hoidy j
- 13:05Speaker 5: is because it is because he can claim it.
- 13:06Speaker 4: As a business expense.
- 13:08Speaker 5: So he's working theoretically and inverted commas because he's with
- 13:13Speaker 5: me on the show and inverted commas. That way he
- 13:16Speaker 5: can claim back when he does his tax return on
- 13:21Speaker 5: his golf fees.
- 13:22Speaker 2: One part of Golfer's work is it like you're chatting
- 13:25Speaker 2: about the show.
- 13:26Speaker 3: For example, whole Thing Entertainment, Whole four text came through
- 13:30Speaker 3: from Old Bogie, Hey, should we do black theme for
- 13:32Speaker 3: the Throbber because it's Black Friday?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yes?
- 13:34Speaker 3: And then I told Jase that and then I started
- 13:36Speaker 3: thinking about a Throbber Hence I am at work and
- 13:41Speaker 3: we were chatting about the show AJS.
- 13:43Speaker 5: And he didn't actually say that to me. I heard
- 13:45Speaker 5: him telling it to the Fellas and one of the
- 13:47Speaker 5: guys that young Tom said to him, so, you wouldn't
- 13:50Speaker 5: play with Jase if he didn't if you didn't work
- 13:52Speaker 5: with him, and he went ship now and I just went, oh, well,
- 13:56Speaker 5: it's just you know, I mean, we're we're kind of mates.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Have you know we are mate? Have you we're friends?
- 14:02Speaker 3: Have you heard the same friends with benefits?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, have you heard that before.
- 14:06Speaker 6: Jason, Well, we've already banged each other the phrase friends
- 14:10Speaker 6: with benefits, Yes, I have. Yes, So we're friends with
- 14:12Speaker 6: tax benefits. So the benefits are I hang out with
- 14:16Speaker 6: you outside of work, and I get a tax break
- 14:18Speaker 6: just like me.
- 14:19Speaker 2: And you get a friend.
- 14:21Speaker 4: It just feels to me like you're using me.
- 14:25Speaker 2: For financial use the back you could you could have
- 14:28Speaker 2: the same game, Jason.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I'm actually a backbone.
- 14:30Speaker 5: And I don't claim crap like that because most of
- 14:33Speaker 5: the time he's bitching and moaning, he's not working at all.
- 14:36Speaker 4: So I mean, it's just a fraud.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You should call I should not knock him out to the.
- 14:40Speaker 4: I think I should too. A you do that.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I want, of course, Sky and get your Sky movies
- 14:45Speaker 3: canceled that you've beginning for free.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Jeez in the front, both of you.
- 14:50Speaker 2: You just change the subject, please.
- 14:52Speaker 4: But anyway, yeah, I was disappointed.
- 14:54Speaker 5: I was disappointed, you can imagine, because I thought we
- 14:56Speaker 5: were doing it because we're buddies.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Well no, you're not.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Let make se time. I had to have seen behind
- 15:01Speaker 2: Keyzy there. He's got to get something out of it.
- 15:03Speaker 2: He's out there, the two of you hecking around the joint.
- 15:05Speaker 2: What'd you score today?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Both over one hundred played, so both over one hundred,
- 15:12Speaker 3: forty nine and forty seven.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Maulation, you've only had three or four games. You've already
- 15:18Speaker 2: teld up old Kezy there.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Well, he was he's a superior player. But I was solid.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you were a great man.
- 15:25Speaker 4: I was solid. Yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Probably too good for me.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Actually, if it wasn't for the text benefits, probably wouldn't
- 15:29Speaker 3: play with you anymore.
- 15:33Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Iking.
- 15:39Speaker 5: My wife and I instigrated a new, a new sort
- 15:42Speaker 5: of activity in our lives today. My wife doesn't work
- 15:46Speaker 5: on a Wednesday morning, so we've decided to go for
- 15:49Speaker 5: a walk, the Wednesday Walk, the Wednesday morning walk, fellows,
- 15:53Speaker 5: the Wednesday Walk.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Hey there he is told hod j Yeah, he's got
- 15:59Speaker 2: his jog in short time with the slit up the side.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Yeah, and no needing to hold in my massive bullets.
- 16:06Speaker 2: What's on the walk? New Zealand, Kisi, It's just silly, okay.
- 16:11Speaker 5: But Anyway, we went for a walk at our local cemetery,
- 16:16Speaker 5: Waiku Meti, which can I just say interesting choice. It
- 16:21Speaker 5: is the biggest cemetery in the Southern Hemisphere, Fellas, It's massive.
- 16:26Speaker 5: But as we were walking along in the beautiful sunshine there,
- 16:29Speaker 5: the discussion turned to what to do with my body
- 16:32Speaker 5: after I'm gone? You have you guys had that conversation
- 16:35Speaker 5: with your partners.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I tried to my wife was like, wouldn't his
- 16:40Speaker 3: wife take care of that?
- 16:41Speaker 2: And I was like, Nah, we kind of need to
- 16:42Speaker 2: figure it out.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Well, this is this is one of the things that
- 16:45Speaker 5: you need to sort out, fellas, what to do with
- 16:46Speaker 5: the body after you, you know, you've passed on, And
- 16:49Speaker 5: let's be honest, that could happen very soon for me
- 16:51Speaker 5: after the one hundred meters sort of fall by one
- 16:53Speaker 5: hundred relay. And you know, I'm not sort of in
- 16:58Speaker 5: favor of any of the your conventional ways of getting
- 17:01Speaker 5: rid of the body, i e.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Your cremations, i e. Your burials.
- 17:05Speaker 5: What I would like, and I've expressed this to my wife,
- 17:09Speaker 5: is to be put on a floating pire and pushed
- 17:12Speaker 5: out to see out to Valhalla, out to Valhalla. And
- 17:16Speaker 5: what I also want is a nice little touch at
- 17:18Speaker 5: the end of it, there for my wife to shoot
- 17:21Speaker 5: the burning arrow to ignite the pire as I float
- 17:25Speaker 5: off into the distance.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Is it a traditional Valhalla esque? You know? Do you
- 17:29Speaker 2: want a traditional one? Because in the tradition your wife
- 17:32Speaker 2: would go with you even though she's still alive.
- 17:34Speaker 5: I know, well in that case, no, But this is
- 17:37Speaker 5: what I want in terms of, you know, how I
- 17:39Speaker 5: want my body to be, you know, taken care of,
- 17:43Speaker 5: you know, just a sort of thing full of twigs
- 17:45Speaker 5: and things like that, with a little casket, dowst and petrol.
- 17:49Speaker 4: She has the little arrow.
- 17:50Speaker 5: But.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Boom, Yeah, because I don't want to be you know,
- 17:55Speaker 4: with cremation, they go where do you want to be put?
- 17:58Speaker 5: You know, and it's like, actually, I find that a
- 18:00Speaker 5: bit claustrophobic. What the idea that my ashes will be
- 18:03Speaker 5: in one little spot.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Spread spread out on the ocean. I would have thought, well,
- 18:08Speaker 2: you woant to be kept in the enn.
- 18:10Speaker 5: No, it might be in a paddock or something like that.
- 18:13Speaker 2: That would be custrophobic for you. A paddock, Yes, it
- 18:16Speaker 2: would be. You know, you're a needy bastard even when
- 18:18Speaker 2: you're dead.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Yeah, what you know, I just.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Ashes.
- 18:23Speaker 5: I just I just think that, you know, it adds
- 18:26Speaker 5: a bit of romanticism, It adds a bit of drama.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Can you imagine old Hoidy j being pushed out in
- 18:31Speaker 5: Pih there in.
- 18:32Speaker 2: The trouble with The trouble with that is that your body,
- 18:35Speaker 2: your courts will only be half burned and a washback
- 18:38Speaker 2: up on the shore for kids to pick.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Dol myself, get them to douse me, and I put
- 18:44Speaker 5: some of those little fire burner things in there as well.
- 18:49Speaker 5: There can be like an iggloo of them around my body.
- 18:52Speaker 3: It's quite hard at Pih to go against the surf
- 18:54Speaker 3: and send it out.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll have to give it a good shove.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Well, why don't we do it because we don't you know,
- 18:58Speaker 3: that's a traditional Viking long ship sort of thing, right, Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 3: we don't have those in New Zealand. We can make one,
- 19:05Speaker 3: but we could buy an old like second end Haynes
- 19:06Speaker 3: Hunter or something like an old boat with like a
- 19:08Speaker 3: fifty horse output on the beach.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Don we just do it down at the tempered bars
- 19:11Speaker 2: down here in central Auckland.
- 19:13Speaker 4: That would work.
- 19:14Speaker 2: The hot pool, Yeah, we can do that for you man.
- 19:18Speaker 2: We'll just chuck you in there.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Well, it's more for my wife. I mean, I don't
- 19:20Speaker 5: think you guys aren't even invited to.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Be fair to your funeral.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's ages away though, because you're forty three.
- 19:27Speaker 2: How are we going to dance on your grave if
- 19:29Speaker 2: you've been buried at sea? Yeah?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah, The hold Aching Big Show with Mike and Kezy
- 19:37Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 19:40Speaker 5: We've had a bit of drama and studio. We've just
- 19:43Speaker 5: we'll released a video on our Instagram account. Yeah, The
- 19:46Speaker 5: Hodecke Big.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Show and.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Keysy's Keysy's freaking out, isn't he Monogi?
- 19:53Speaker 2: Well he is now after your reaction right to the
- 19:56Speaker 2: video that's come out on Haecke Big Show on the
- 19:59Speaker 2: Old the And actually I'm going to put up the reaction.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Did you film there?
- 20:03Speaker 2: I felt I sort of got you when your here down,
- 20:05Speaker 2: but it sort of gives you a fear idea about
- 20:07Speaker 2: how you feel about it. It's a bit of an intro,
- 20:10Speaker 2: isn't it. It's an official video for till on next Tuesdays. Yes,
- 20:14Speaker 2: it's just so get on there and and see what
- 20:18Speaker 2: you're reckon.
- 20:18Speaker 3: But I have because Jace laughed NonStop for thirty seconds
- 20:23Speaker 3: and then looked at me and said, I'm so glad
- 20:25Speaker 3: I didn't do that.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, that's right.
- 20:28Speaker 3: It's I'm genuinely worried I'm going to get canceled or
- 20:30Speaker 3: something now.
- 20:31Speaker 4: And it genuinely is true.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Actually New Zealand to all the listeners out there, easy
- 20:35Speaker 5: as worried he's going to be canceled. Yeah, it's right
- 20:38Speaker 5: because of this particular video on our Instagram account. We've
- 20:41Speaker 5: assured him, haven't we, Mike, that whatever happens, he's on
- 20:45Speaker 5: his own, he's on his own.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but that is I mean, look, I wouldn't say
- 20:49Speaker 2: it's easy to make you laugh, Jason. You're you're crying
- 20:52Speaker 2: laughing seven minutes and that.
- 20:54Speaker 3: But I can't tell if it's funny or you're just
- 20:56Speaker 3: laughing at the fact nobody get canceled.
- 20:58Speaker 2: It's a mix of the You.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Know, I've got to tell the audience. I've been working
- 21:02Speaker 5: with Kezy on his performance because, as you know, min
- 21:04Speaker 5: he's he's a little bit over the top. He's a
- 21:07Speaker 5: bit sort of upstagey, kind of notice me, notice me.
- 21:12Speaker 4: So I've got I've got.
- 21:12Speaker 5: Him to pull it back and the subtlety of the
- 21:15Speaker 5: performance by Key was actually what I really enjoyed about that.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I know, it was very very good, throws it away
- 21:22Speaker 2: and just a great piece of character acting from Keezy.
- 21:26Speaker 2: But what is it acting?
- 21:28Speaker 1: You know?
- 21:31Speaker 2: Is it?
- 21:31Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:31Speaker 2: It is definitely acting because the.
- 21:34Speaker 5: The interesting thing about it was that you came up
- 21:37Speaker 5: with that.
- 21:37Speaker 4: That was just something you improvised, that wasn't even in
- 21:40Speaker 4: the script.
- 21:42Speaker 2: To the worry because you're a filthy animal. Well, our producer.
- 21:47Speaker 3: The way it works is our producer comes up with
- 21:49Speaker 3: an idea for a video and then says, how I've
- 21:50Speaker 3: got a funny idea, gets us to do stuff, and
- 21:52Speaker 3: then the finished product comes out and you go, oh,
- 21:54Speaker 3: I just canceled myself.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I don't even realizing, right, Yeah, well he said you
- 21:58Speaker 5: improvised that particular little seat. Hey listen, go on our
- 22:01Speaker 5: Instagram account, go and check it out. Make a comment
- 22:05Speaker 5: and we'll see if Please, if the tide is running
