  Speaker 1: Peace and Troubling and Triublent Times. Our scripture is going

  Speaker 1: are steadfast because they trust in you. Again. That's Isaiah

  Speaker 1: twenty six and three, is that you will keep in

  Speaker 1: perfect peace those who minds are stayed fast because they

  Speaker 1: trust in you. Our affirmation for today is my mind

  Speaker 1: is at peace because I trust God. My mind is

  Speaker 1: at peace because I trust God. And I want to

  Speaker 1: welcome you again today number two of our twenty one

  Speaker 1: day journey. Y'all, We're on a twenty one day journey.

  Speaker 1: God is my refuge and my present help. That is

  Speaker 1: the title of this devotion. Yesterday we found strength and adversary,
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: but today we turn our hearts and mind to peace.

  Speaker 1: Amidst chaos, as conflicts, news, and uncertain worlds around us,
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: both globally and in our personal lives, it is easy
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: to feel overwhelmed. Yet the Lord promises peace that goes
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: beyond the human comprehension anchor in our souls. When all
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: seems unsteady, we have to understand that God's word is true.
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: A little bit about this scripture Isaiah wrote these words
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: during a period of fear oppression of Israel and surrounded
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: by threats and political turmoil. God's people were anxious about
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: survival and their future. Yet through Isaiah, God reassured them
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: that if they trusted him, not in armies, kings, or circumstances,
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: but if they trusted Him, that perfect peace mentioned here
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: is a deep, abiding rest that can only come from God,
• 8:38
  Speaker 1: regardless of eternal chaos. Chaos is everywhere on the news

  Speaker 1: and our communities, within our families, and sometimes even in
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: our own heart. But God's word tells us that his
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: peace is available, not because the world is at colm,
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: but because He is faithful. This is peace. This piece

  Speaker 1: is not fragile or fleeting. It is a supernatural gift

  Speaker 1: During his reign, King Josephact of Judah was suddenly surrounded

  Speaker 1: by a powerful coalition of enemy of the enemy's army

  Speaker 1: vastly outnumbered in his own. The nation was naturally thrown

  Speaker 1: into panic and fear, But instead of reacting with anxiety

  Speaker 1: and immediate battle plans, Joseph Fact called the people to

  Speaker 1: fast and seek God's guidance. In the midst of chaos,

  Speaker 1: greatness and faithfulness and admitting their powerlessness. Now we got

  Speaker 1: to understand that we have no power, but through Him

  Speaker 1: the midst of chaos, Josephact stood before the people, praying

  Speaker 1: and declaring God's greatness and faithfulness and admitting our powerless.

  Speaker 1: We do not know what to do, but our eyes

  Speaker 1: are on you. Second Chronicles twenty and twelve. God responded

  Speaker 1: through a prophet with an incredible message, do not be

  Speaker 1: you can be reminded what these scriptures, and repeat these

  Speaker 1: scriptures daily. He's given us the power in our tongue.

  Speaker 1: We can speak life or death. Some of us won't

  Speaker 1: even speak life over ourselves when we have that power.

  Speaker 1: your day in prayer. Turn your worries into prayer, surrender

  Speaker 1: deserving of his fratefulness, his word, him fulfilling his scripture.

  Speaker 1: even been upon this earth long enough to do anything

  Speaker 1: that is pleasing to him. But y'all, you gotta spend

  Speaker 1: time with him. You gotta be faithful, just as He

  Speaker 1: is faithful to us. You gotta be faithful to him.

  Speaker 1: How can you do that? Meditate on the faithfulness of God,

  Speaker 1: his steadfast, his unchanging. He has never failed his people.

  Speaker 1: things that you have overcame, know that it is not

  Speaker 1: high chance. It is not by accident, it is not

  Speaker 1: by happenstance. But it's all a part of his preordained

  Speaker 1: path for you. Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. He declared

  Speaker 1: that he had a plan for you. His plan was

  Speaker 1: to prosper you, not to harm you, for you to

  Speaker 1: be in good health, for you to have hope in

  Speaker 1: the future. You got to stand on his words. You

  Speaker 1: have to believe his words. You got to know that

  Speaker 1: his word is true. Trust him and stop trusting in

  Speaker 1: your own because you have no power. Surrender to him

  Speaker 1: on today. And when you trust in his faithfulness, y'all,

  Speaker 1: and he would stir up those gifts, and those talents

  Speaker 1: some of y'all won't even share his goodness, Like like

  Speaker 1: you delivered yourself out of drug addiction, like you delivered

  Speaker 1: yourself out of hormonon, like you delivered yourself out of sin.

  Speaker 1: You didn't deliver yourself. He did it, but you don't

  Speaker 1: even want to recognize him. You won't even acknowledge him.

  Speaker 1: Some of y'all don't even get up and pray. Some

  Speaker 1: of y'all don't even crack your bibles open. And some

  Speaker 1: of y'all use these platforms for everything but edifying him

  Speaker 1: and amplify his word. Knowing that we all have a place,

  Speaker 1: in a position that we're supposed to take in the kingdom. No,

  Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna be a preacher. Everybody's not gonna be

  Speaker 1: a teacher. Everybody's not gonna be an apostle. Everybody's not

  Speaker 1: gonna be someone that carries a title. But it's not

  Speaker 1: about those titles. It's not about those titles. It is

  Speaker 1: about sharing his goodness and then letting other peoples see

  Speaker 1: his light. So today I challenge you. I challenge you

  Speaker 1: to allow him to move in your life today, Allow

  Speaker 1: him to use you today, Allow him to come forth

  Speaker 1: through your testimony. Y'all. He give us these tests, these trials,

  Speaker 1: and these tribulations, y'all. It comes to build us up.

  Speaker 1: It comes to build our character. It comes to bring

  Speaker 1: him glory. Y'all. There's nothing that we do, there's nothing

  Speaker 1: that we do that we should glorify ourselves. Again, I

  Speaker 1: say today, remember why the world is in chaos. God's

  Speaker 1: peace is your anchor. Trust in his unshakeable faithfulness as

  Speaker 1: you move throughout this day, hold on to the affirmation.

  Speaker 1: My mind is at peace because I trust God. You

  Speaker 1: gotta trust him on today. Know that he's yet working,

  Speaker 1: Know that he's faithful. Know that he's not like man.

  Speaker 1: huge point plant, ranged with assault off. I shouldn't be here.

  Speaker 1: I got the evidence to show in my leg, but

  Speaker 1: I should not be here. The doctor said that the

  Speaker 1: whole right side, my whole right side, should have been

  Speaker 1: blown off. But the God that I served, y'all, he

  Speaker 1: allowed me to still be here. He allowed me to

  Speaker 1: be able to share his goodness, y'all. I walked out

  Speaker 1: the hospital within three days. Never go into physical therapy,

  Speaker 1: never going to occupational therapy. So I know what God

  Speaker 1: can do. I know what he did for me, and

  Speaker 1: he has no respect for a person. Just as he

  Speaker 1: did it for me, he'll do it for you. So

  Speaker 1: trust him on today. Trust him on today, Trust his word,
