- 0:14Speaker 1: Welcome, Welcome. This is I Do Part two, an innovative,
- 0:18Speaker 1: one of a kind experiment in podcasting and love. We
- 0:23Speaker 1: are going to rip the band aid off you guys
- 0:25Speaker 1: and talk about all the things you need to know
- 0:28Speaker 1: if you're jumping back into the relationship pool. I did
- 0:33Speaker 1: basically a belly flop when I jump back in. I'd
- 0:36Speaker 1: been married for seventeen years and I would have rather
- 0:40Speaker 1: licked I de can't. I don't know something really gross
- 0:45Speaker 1: than to have to start dating again later in my life.
- 0:48Speaker 1: But that's what happened, and I was not prepared. So
- 0:52Speaker 1: we are going to get you prepped and ready for
- 0:55Speaker 1: this next amazing chapter in your life. We're going to
- 0:58Speaker 1: get you ready to open yourself up to love again,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and I am excited. I'm one of your hosts, Jenny Garth.
- 1:06Speaker 1: This week we are going to talk about a very
- 1:08Speaker 1: important part of a romantic relationship, sex, more specifically sex
- 1:16Speaker 1: in our second act. And if you know me, you
- 1:20Speaker 1: know I can get a little squirmy when the sex
- 1:23Speaker 1: topic comes up. That's one area of my life that
- 1:25Speaker 1: I like to keep private. So I'm so relieved that
- 1:29Speaker 1: I'm going to be joined by two fab women. You know,
- 1:33Speaker 1: them from The Golden Bachelor and their podcast, Bachelor Happy Hour.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Golden Hour, Please welcome Susan Knowles and Kathy Schwartz to
- 1:42Speaker 1: the podcast.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Ladies.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, you're beautiful and you're beautiful.
- 1:49Speaker 3: That was a great entry and I am not squeamish
- 1:52Speaker 3: at all.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Okay, good, it's a natural bodily function.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Well, let's just jump in. I want to talk to you, ladies,
- 2:02Speaker 1: about what Goldiehan recently said. Goldiehan and Kurt Russell have
- 2:06Speaker 1: been together for forty years, and she recently said that the
- 2:11Speaker 1: secret to a long lasting relationship is good sex. So
- 2:15Speaker 1: let's talk about that. What do you think. Do you
- 2:19Speaker 1: agree when you're in your fifties and your sixties, is
- 2:22Speaker 1: good sex important or is it more about companionship.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I think that good sex is important in every marriage
- 2:30Speaker 2: or every relationship, not even marriage, just every relationship. And
- 2:33Speaker 2: it doesn't matter if you're twenty or seventy. And I
- 2:37Speaker 2: think it looks a little bit different. You know, women
- 2:41Speaker 2: after they go through menopause, you know, get as dry
- 2:45Speaker 2: as the Saharan desert, and that you've got to deal
- 2:48Speaker 2: with that.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Okay, we're ripping it off, guys.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Here nothing's off topic, unless, of course, you get bioidentical hormones.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And I'm as wet as a teenager, so is you not?
- 3:01Speaker 2: Between the two of us were normal?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I feel like it's it's very important at least intimacy,
- 3:09Speaker 3: because some men at a certain age cannot perform one way.
- 3:14Speaker 3: There's always orals, you know what you should be very
- 3:17Speaker 3: comfortable with. But intimacy is very important, whether their sexual
- 3:22Speaker 3: act itself is done or not, just making out or touching.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, And I also remember after I went through menopause.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I remember that having sex it was freeing in a
- 3:34Speaker 2: way because you know, you didn't have to worry about
- 3:36Speaker 2: getting pregnant. I remember that distinctly. Oh this is great.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I think frequency changes, not that I didn't use birth control.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I'm just saying the worry of oh God, did I
- 3:48Speaker 2: take my pill? Where is my I youd gonna fall out?
- 3:50Speaker 2: I mean things, you don't worry about it anymore. But
- 3:53Speaker 2: I think that maybe frequency changes.
- 3:55Speaker 1: How often do you think in a healthy relationship should
- 3:57Speaker 1: somebody be having sex?
- 3:59Speaker 2: What time is it.
- 4:00Speaker 3: You don't have kids in the house anymore, like you
- 4:02Speaker 3: have a lot more free time. So yeah, a lot
- 4:05Speaker 3: more than when I was married raising kids.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so two times a week, three times a week,
- 4:11Speaker 1: four time. I need numbers.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Ends on the.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Week and your life schedule.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I think it depends on the guy. Yeah, it does.
- 4:18Speaker 2: My personal experience has been that. So my husband, you know,
- 4:22Speaker 2: passed away, and my sexual relationships since then have not
- 4:27Speaker 2: been as good as it was for my husband.
- 4:30Speaker 4: But had one. In other words, I had.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I had. The men that I have had sex with,
- 4:37Speaker 2: all of them are on that blue pill. One of
- 4:40Speaker 2: them had an internal battery pack. I mean, yeah, why
- 4:45Speaker 2: did I get to that?
- 4:46Speaker 1: I need to know more about.
- 4:47Speaker 4: This, I tho, I was, can you recharge the battery?
- 4:53Speaker 1: How do you guys even meet your guys?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Like?
- 4:56Speaker 1: How do you meet guys?
- 4:59Speaker 4: That's the hard part, is it?
- 5:01Speaker 2: Well?
- 5:02Speaker 4: Do I bring that up? I mean I'm dyas okay?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Yeah? Why we both agree? Dating apps for us, they
- 5:12Speaker 2: they have not worked. And in my case, we've talked
- 5:16Speaker 2: about this too. We're I'm very active. I do lots
- 5:19Speaker 2: of things, you know, bicycle and play golf and walk
- 5:22Speaker 2: and snowski and we're open and we're open to dating
- 5:26Speaker 2: younger men. But it's hard at our age because.
- 5:29Speaker 4: They want somebody younger. They want somebody younger.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the men your age want younger.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Now, yeah, they're fools.
- 5:37Speaker 3: However, we have a little story.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It just happened last night, the night before, and I
- 5:43Speaker 2: can verify this is all true. What she's about to say.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Okay, okay, lay it on me.
- 5:48Speaker 3: So Kathy keeps an eye on my spending, if you will,
- 5:51Speaker 3: because I could go crazy. And we were in the
- 5:53Speaker 3: shopping plaza and I saw a pretty cool store and
- 5:57Speaker 3: not something you see all the time. Of course I
- 5:59Speaker 3: fall love with an outfit. I'm in the dressing room
- 6:02Speaker 3: and the gentleman comes back in to see if I
- 6:04Speaker 3: need anything, and it was expensive, and I said to him,
- 6:07Speaker 3: to me a favor, take my charge, go bring this
- 6:10Speaker 3: up because she don't, you know, a buy.
- 6:13Speaker 2: She doesn't want me to bitch and moan about the
- 6:14Speaker 2: money she's spent, because you know, Susans, I was saying,
- 6:17Speaker 2: stop me from shopping until she shops, and then it's
- 6:20Speaker 2: left me shop, so go ahead.
- 6:21Speaker 3: So long story short, he had all my information. I
- 6:24Speaker 3: come out and she catches the sunny out and it
- 6:25Speaker 3: was funny. Two hours three and three hours later we
- 6:29Speaker 3: went to dinner or in the back of an uber
- 6:31Speaker 3: on our way back to the hotel and I get
- 6:33Speaker 3: a text message, Susan, if you'd like to have some
- 6:37Speaker 3: fun before you leave on Friday, I would be happy
- 6:41Speaker 3: to be your boy toy.
- 6:43Speaker 2: What And he was like twenty eight years old? Oh
- 6:47Speaker 2: my god, we had died. We were down. Then the
- 6:51Speaker 2: guy in the uber, I said how old are you?
- 6:53Speaker 2: He goes twenty and I said great, we got a
- 6:55Speaker 2: boy toy shop.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is so fascinating. Okay, so I
- 7:01Speaker 1: did not respond.
- 7:03Speaker 2: You did that?
- 7:03Speaker 4: Okay, not respond?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Well, you know what I expected you to respond. Actually,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I know, right, I disappointed you. Okay, So, how so
- 7:12Speaker 1: you meet a guy? How long do you wait to
- 7:15Speaker 1: have sex? Like later in life? You because I'm like, okay,
- 7:20Speaker 1: time is ticking and I don't know, I have a
- 7:22Speaker 1: lot of time to waste here.
- 7:23Speaker 3: So there used to be a rule, right, you had
- 7:25Speaker 3: to wait I don't know, six dates or three months
- 7:28Speaker 3: or whatever. I don't know if that was a Catholic
- 7:30Speaker 3: thing is.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I think it's what we teach our daughters.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Really, Oh it's my daughter going to hear this.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Ooops, I don't on the first date.
- 7:40Speaker 2: No, you know, I've had sex with a guy that
- 7:43Speaker 2: I didn't know that well, interestingly, the guy that I
- 7:46Speaker 2: was most interested in since my husband passed away. I
- 7:51Speaker 2: didn't have sex with him because I'm It's not that
- 7:53Speaker 2: I'm old fashioned, it's that I felt like if I
- 7:57Speaker 2: had sex with him, it was going to mean something
- 8:01Speaker 2: to me that we were going down that road, and
- 8:03Speaker 2: I think he was just he kept saying to me,
- 8:06Speaker 2: you know, sex is just an experience and to getting
- 8:08Speaker 2: to know you and not.
- 8:09Speaker 1: No, yeah, it's different. It means different things for different people.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Absolutely, So I didn't.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Do you think that once you give it up that
- 8:17Speaker 3: you lose control? That's been said, Yeah, once you give
- 8:21Speaker 3: it up, then.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You're invested emotionally. That's for me, yes, yeah, that's I
- 8:28Speaker 1: think the big difference between women and men generally speaking.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I don't think of sex as going out and playing
- 8:35Speaker 2: around of golf like it's it's not. It's an experience,
- 8:38Speaker 2: but it's you know, it's not like grocery shopping either,
- 8:41Speaker 2: like to me at me something.
- 8:43Speaker 1: So yeah, I think to a lot of people it does.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Chemistry is super important, like that energy that you just
- 8:50Speaker 1: almost can't even describe. Have you ever had to end
- 8:54Speaker 1: a relationship because there wasn't chemistry in the bedroom. Yep,
- 8:59Speaker 1: really no, Susan always has chemistry in the bedroom. Liqut her.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Oh wait, so we're could have just stopped it. Susan
- 9:06Speaker 2: has chemistry.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I don't get to the bedroom if there's no chemistry.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I didn't. Yeah, I didn't exactly because I didn't end
- 9:13Speaker 2: it because there was no chemistry in the bedroom. I
- 9:16Speaker 2: ended it because the lack of chemistry in the bedroom.
- 9:20Speaker 2: And it was just another thing on the list.
- 9:22Speaker 3: It was like the cherry on top, exactly what I
- 9:25Speaker 3: will share when they don't kiss well or make out well.
- 9:30Speaker 4: That is part of sex.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It's so important.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it's part of the partner that doesn't do that part.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Like everything else was great, and I'm like, yeah, no,
- 9:39Speaker 3: I'm missing that.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You need it. It's good. I mean, at our age,
- 9:43Speaker 1: we know what we want, what we need, and what
- 9:45Speaker 1: we don't want, and we don't that's scary.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Y I will say to you. I think that's another
- 9:50Speaker 2: difference of women being older, or maybe it's just Susan
- 9:53Speaker 2: and I are outspoken. But I have no problem telling
- 9:57Speaker 2: the guy what I want and what works for me.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And I think what younger women sometimes are afraid to
- 10:02Speaker 2: do that.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, they want to please, please, they want to please.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I make men feel uncomfortable because I tell them what
- 10:09Speaker 3: I do. I have toys, I have my own. I
- 10:11Speaker 3: gave one Kathy for her birthday. It's called the Womanizer.
- 10:15Speaker 3: You know, it's made a man. However, I made that
- 10:18Speaker 3: physical touch. I missed that making out. But as far
- 10:21Speaker 3: as pleasing myself or having an orgasm, if you will,
- 10:25Speaker 3: that's done on a regular The closest I.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Have come to an orgasm recently is using Nars blush,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and the name of it is called orgasm.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Do you think you can teach someone to be a
- 10:48Speaker 1: better lover?
- 10:49Speaker 3: You can direct and you can speak it and tell
- 10:54Speaker 3: them what it is you like. Either they know where
- 10:57Speaker 3: that area is or they don't.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I don't think all men necessarily are invested in learning
- 11:06Speaker 2: how to please a woman.
- 11:07Speaker 3: I think some are and some are well you would
- 11:11Speaker 3: know that.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So you've got to bed Susan.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You mentioned before the little blue pill. Yeah, okay, so
- 11:19Speaker 1: I've never messed around with a little blue pill. My
- 11:21Speaker 1: husband is nine years younger than me, So we need
- 11:23Speaker 1: like the opposite, like uh nap, I want instead a
- 11:27Speaker 1: viagra I want nap agra. Viagra is incredibly common with
- 11:31Speaker 1: men of a certain age.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You never would yeah, really since my husband who didn't
- 11:37Speaker 2: need via.
- 11:39Speaker 3: But at they have problems, they have problems.
- 11:43Speaker 2: But so unless you're like Susan, you know, who's got
- 11:47Speaker 2: a pellet in her ass that keeps her, you know,
- 11:49Speaker 2: sliding down the mountain. It's just has sex changes you.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You have to be comfortable using whatever it takes right
- 12:01Speaker 2: to both parties, both what I'm saying, it just looks diffid.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Have you ever gotten with a guy and maybe you
- 12:08Speaker 1: didn't discuss it first and then realized, oh, he's on
- 12:12Speaker 1: it and this is going to be a problem tonight.
- 12:15Speaker 3: He's on it, meaning he's taken.
- 12:18Speaker 1: He's taken for a few hours.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And yeah, you're like, dude, you better come to Colm
- 12:23Speaker 3: four hours, Tom, Can I just tell you?
- 12:26Speaker 2: I think that's maybe it's having you. It's a myth
- 12:30Speaker 2: that it lasts four hours.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know how long did it last? They say?
- 12:36Speaker 3: The commercial says, if in four hours, I don't go down.
- 12:39Speaker 2: To to the hospital, would you love that? Rushing the myth?
- 12:44Speaker 2: Excuse me, excuse me, we have a critical issue here.
- 12:47Speaker 1: On it I think they would right away.
- 12:49Speaker 2: The issue, the blue bill issue. Help.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Oh my god, they should make a blue pill for women.
- 12:56Speaker 2: They do, I will say they do, they, But Jenny,
- 12:59Speaker 2: I will tell you I have a lot of friends
- 13:03Speaker 2: who are younger than I am, in their forties and fifties,
- 13:07Speaker 2: and they, many of them tell me their sex drive
- 13:11Speaker 2: is gone and they don't want sex. And menopausal women, Yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 2: menopausal women. I think that's a big issue too.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Not for me, but well, doctor explained to me one time.
- 13:23Speaker 3: He gave me percentages, and I could be off, but
- 13:25Speaker 3: he said eighty some percent of women going through menopause
- 13:30Speaker 3: lose there there, and then a very small percentage stay
- 13:35Speaker 3: the same, and then an even smaller percentage of women
- 13:40Speaker 3: there are libido increases. And I was like a dog
- 13:42Speaker 3: in heat in menopause. Yeah, before that, in my married life,
- 13:47Speaker 3: I was just normal, No, And I didn't know I
- 13:49Speaker 3: could feel certain ways until way later in life.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Like, how how old were you when this happened my fifties?
- 13:57Speaker 2: In your fifties, I was fifty exactly, and I'm like Susan,
- 14:00Speaker 2: it didn't change. I mean, my sex drive was as
- 14:03Speaker 2: always healthy and still is.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I think you guys are lucky.
- 14:06Speaker 2: You're a lot of I'm telling you. And I've talked
- 14:08Speaker 2: to men and some of my friends who are now divorced,
- 14:12Speaker 2: and they said that was one of the big things
- 14:14Speaker 2: that contributed to their divorce. They didn't want sex and
- 14:17Speaker 2: their husband did, and they were like, move on, I can't.
- 14:22Speaker 3: We've all been that person though at night. To keep
- 14:24Speaker 3: your husband happy, you just go through the motions and
- 14:26Speaker 3: hurry up.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I know now at this stage of the game, I
- 14:31Speaker 3: enjoy every minute of it, live it up because it's
- 14:35Speaker 3: more about me than about satisfying them.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Now right, Well, that's what happens. You've decided to choose yourself,
- 14:42Speaker 1: which I love so much about you. So is it
- 14:45Speaker 1: weird to discuss sexual history with a partner at this age?
- 14:49Speaker 3: I do ask the question. I mean I haven't in
- 14:51Speaker 3: a few years because I don't had a date, but
- 14:53Speaker 3: I would ask the question, Number one, have you been tested?
- 14:57Speaker 3: I mean, are you healthy? I don't for proof on
- 15:00Speaker 3: the papers, but I do have the conversation.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Because you don't want to get as a TV any
- 15:07Speaker 1: kind of no. You want to make sure there again.
- 15:10Speaker 2: And where I'm coming from the sexual experiences I've had,
- 15:15Speaker 2: it's usually Like one guy I dated, he and his
- 15:18Speaker 2: wife had that sex and ten years like he was
- 15:22Speaker 2: like he was re entering the whole world of intimacy,
- 15:24Speaker 2: which I found incredibly bizarre, But you know, it is
- 15:28Speaker 2: something to consider.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I know women that have gone years and have no desire,
- 15:33Speaker 3: which is okay if that's okay with them.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It's only okay in my mind if both parties agreed.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I think that really, you know, they talk about what
- 15:43Speaker 2: hurts marriages. I mean obviously finances, disagreement about finances, raising children,
- 15:49Speaker 2: But I think people underplay how important sex is in
- 15:54Speaker 2: a marriage and can break up a marriage.
- 15:56Speaker 3: I have friends that you know, actually Kathy, that do
- 15:59Speaker 3: not have sex, heat struggles and she doesn't care, so
- 16:03Speaker 3: their marriage is perfect.
- 16:05Speaker 4: They have a great time.
- 16:06Speaker 2: But so, justin why aren't we dating? We are sexual beings.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Well know, you think it's because we're too loud or
- 16:13Speaker 3: up front or too strong strung.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Maybe yeah, I mean guys are intimidated by that, but.
- 16:22Speaker 2: We'd like to Oh, sorry, that is the plan.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You're funny. You're funny. Okay, Wait, I have a question, Yes,
- 16:29Speaker 1: as women of your age, my age, do you still
- 16:33Speaker 1: get hung up on body image? Like you know, when
- 16:35Speaker 1: it's time to get naked, do you get insecure or
- 16:38Speaker 1: nervous about the way you look?
- 16:39Speaker 2: We have different answers. So a little known fact but
- 16:44Speaker 2: becoming more and more well known. Back in another life.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Body my body image problems because I used to weigh
- 16:51Speaker 2: two hundred pounds. So for me, I still look in
- 16:55Speaker 2: the mirror and see, you know, a fat person and
- 16:58Speaker 2: so and my skin is you know, because I was heavy.
- 17:02Speaker 2: My skin is not as tight even though I work out.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Shin isn't it as tight as our age?
- 17:07Speaker 2: I know, but it's exacerbated by the fact that I
- 17:11Speaker 2: wait so much. So for me it's in the beginning
- 17:14Speaker 2: it's a little struggle and then I get over it.
- 17:16Speaker 2: But for me, it's a little struggle in the beginning.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I'm going to guess that you don't have body image issues.
- 17:22Speaker 1: When it's time to get naked.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I feel a little self conscious for about thirty seconds.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Yeah, do you like to dim the lights?
- 17:30Speaker 2: No?
- 17:31Speaker 4: No, I used to.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I used to be a dark girl, yes, because I
- 17:34Speaker 3: didn't want him to see anything.
- 17:35Speaker 2: And now it's like, wait, it is what it is.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't sleep with somebody that I wasn't comfortable with
- 17:41Speaker 3: do you know what I mean? I would know this
- 17:43Speaker 3: person prior to getting into bed with him. So I
- 17:46Speaker 3: was quite surprised the last time that, you know, I know,
- 17:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 17:51Speaker 4: It's not what it.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Used to be.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Things aren't as firm.
- 17:53Speaker 3: And he was like, oh my god, the way you
- 17:56Speaker 3: dress you look so much bigger.
- 17:58Speaker 4: You have an amazing body.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I was like, that's good to hear. That makes you
- 18:05Speaker 1: do it.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I think men struggle that a little bit too. So
- 18:08Speaker 2: it's kind of a two way street there, right.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You're in your head about it and they're in their
- 18:12Speaker 1: head about it for themselves.
- 18:14Speaker 2: So and I think, like most things, if you just
- 18:17Speaker 2: communicate that fact that, hey, you know, I'm a little
- 18:20Speaker 2: self conscious at my age, I can say that. But
- 18:24Speaker 2: when I was younger, please don't look, yeah tell me
- 18:27Speaker 2: or yeah I would. She pulled up really quickly. Now
- 18:30Speaker 2: now it's like good, like Susan. It's a little uncomfortable
- 18:33Speaker 2: to beginning asking what the hell.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I've grown into my own skin? Though I don't care anymore.
- 18:37Speaker 3: And I know men appreciate a woman's body, and it's
- 18:40Speaker 3: at sixty seven, it's not perfect, right, you know what
- 18:43Speaker 3: I mean? But they still appreciate, but the point is
- 18:45Speaker 3: they're not perfect.
- 18:46Speaker 1: No right, yeah, no, well the problem is they're looking
- 18:49Speaker 1: for younger perfect girls.
- 18:51Speaker 2: So that you and Kathy both say that a lot.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I want to know, Jenny, how you got a guy
- 18:56Speaker 2: nine years younger? Yeah? What if we do? That's what
- 18:58Speaker 2: I because Jenny's younger than us. That that's what I want.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I want, But you know you're want younger.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I was going to ask you, like, do what how
- 19:05Speaker 1: do you feel about dating younger men? Is there a range,
- 19:07Speaker 1: like an age range you stick to you?
- 19:08Speaker 2: I would date someone ten years younger.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I just yeah, probably depending on the mano ten. But
- 19:14Speaker 3: my thing is like when we come from similar errors,
- 19:19Speaker 3: we like the same music and we like that.
- 19:22Speaker 4: It's things in life.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Also also, you know, you I want a guy who's
- 19:27Speaker 2: retired because I want to travel, I want to do
- 19:30Speaker 2: things I don't want to you know, have the cocktail
- 19:33Speaker 2: waiting and you know his slid five. Yeah, I mean cook,
- 19:37Speaker 2: she don't call. But I'm great in bed, so it
- 19:39Speaker 2: is it's out. That's right.
- 19:41Speaker 1: There's definitely a difference because if you're dating a younger guy,
- 19:44Speaker 1: they're innately in a different place in their life developmentally,
- 19:48Speaker 1: so you have to know what you're getting into.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I don't think that's necessarily true. I realized that I'm
- 19:54Speaker 2: that I'm I'm different in that I'm really fit. When
- 19:58Speaker 2: we're on the golden Bachslore, you know, I in the
- 20:00Speaker 2: pick aball contest, in swimming races, I would I am
- 20:04Speaker 2: very fit. I work out in the gym. I hype
- 20:08Speaker 2: for you. I'm just saying I'm kind of an outlier
- 20:11Speaker 2: in that way. You don't want to and I don't
- 20:13Speaker 2: want to used to die. That's my thing. I've said,
- 20:15Speaker 2: it's just the show. I don't want to. Guy who says,
- 20:18Speaker 2: you know, I used to play tennis, I used to kayak,
- 20:21Speaker 2: I used to swim, and now I sit on the sofa.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I don't want to used to die?
- 20:25Speaker 1: I like that.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's hard. It's hard to find those guys
- 20:29Speaker 2: that'll that will not look at my age number, will
- 20:33Speaker 2: just say, you know what, she looks like, she might
- 20:36Speaker 2: be interesting. I'm going to give her a shot. That's
- 20:38Speaker 2: what I'm looking for that guy. My son, Susan actually
- 20:42Speaker 2: performed the marriage. My son was divorced and met and
- 20:46Speaker 2: Susan married them in She's ten years older than my
- 20:49Speaker 2: son and they are great together, great march.
- 20:53Speaker 1: That's so good to hear. Yeah, I mean personally speaking,
- 20:56Speaker 1: it's had its challenges and luckily Mike nine year younger
- 21:01Speaker 1: husband acts like he's eighty so and I have a
- 21:06Speaker 1: thing for older men, like I love older men, but
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm with a younger man. But it works out because
- 21:12Speaker 1: he acts like an old man.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Media.
- 21:15Speaker 1: That was a setup, like a blind date, as blind
- 21:18Speaker 1: as you can get in this day and age. I
- 21:20Speaker 1: looked him up, but I think I found the wrong
- 21:23Speaker 1: guy because the guy I looked up was a Chipendale's dancer.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Long story anyways, it was a setup. I'll send you
- 21:31Speaker 1: the Chip and Dale's guy.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Talk about bodies, right, Yeah, that's what.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I don't know what I do with that, Like, can
- 21:39Speaker 4: I touch it?
- 21:41Speaker 2: I know, right, But I do think that, you know,
- 21:44Speaker 2: just getting back to our original conversation, I unless unless
- 21:47Speaker 2: you want to set us something, then we can just
- 21:49Speaker 2: go from there. But I really do think that I'm
- 21:53Speaker 2: surprised at the number of women who literally will say
- 21:58Speaker 2: to me, i've had my children, I don't care about sex,
- 22:00Speaker 2: and I always feel like a freak because I really
- 22:03Speaker 2: enjoy seving and a lot of women just don't. So
- 22:08Speaker 2: I don't know. I you know, I don't care.
- 22:11Speaker 1: That's the thing to each their own. Whatever works for you.
- 22:15Speaker 1: But it's good if you're with somebody that you're on
- 22:17Speaker 1: the same page.
- 22:18Speaker 3: That's really So it's not just the idea of sex,
- 22:21Speaker 3: like men can go out and have one night stand.
- 22:23Speaker 4: It's just the sex thing is good.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I like the romance, the intimacy, the intimacy, and.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That's what I was saying earlier. Like for me, if
- 22:32Speaker 2: I'm going to do bet with the man, there's I
- 22:34Speaker 2: feel something. It's not It's like I said, it's not
- 22:37Speaker 2: an activity. It's not like the French and the Italians.
- 22:41Speaker 2: It's just such ya su.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I like I call it pillow talk.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I like, yes, I want to get romantic.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. Okay, So do you guys sext
- 22:56Speaker 1: Is sexting a thing?
- 22:58Speaker 2: Have I ever?
- 22:59Speaker 4: I don't sex, Kathy, No, like, thank god.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Our guys in their fifties and sixties sexting still yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And now you know with with video, I mean there's
- 23:14Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff that goes on. I will personally
- 23:17Speaker 2: say I do not send pictures because I know those
- 23:21Speaker 2: could end up anywhere.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Oh Jeff, you might see my boobs out there somewhere.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna look for. I'm gonna google it, seas.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Boobs are everywhere, Let's be honest.
- 23:33Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I'm not that comfortable with sexting or
- 23:38Speaker 1: anything in writing like that. I can come back to you.
- 23:42Speaker 4: But talking dirty? Do you like to talk dirty?
- 23:45Speaker 3: So when I was younger, I was very intimidated by that.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Very well, when I'm When we were younger, we didn't talk.
- 23:53Speaker 2: There wasn't texting, I mean talking you it was like
- 23:57Speaker 2: you picked up phone. You know, they had a road redial,
- 24:00Speaker 2: you remember.
- 24:02Speaker 3: And then when things get in my head, then I
- 24:04Speaker 3: start overthinking things and then i'm doing.
- 24:08Speaker 2: I don't think sexin is as big though, at least
- 24:10Speaker 2: for me, it's not as big a thing. I want
- 24:13Speaker 2: it in person, you know, I want to touch.
- 24:16Speaker 4: The connection, the connection.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I feel like the phone is a cop out.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Well, if I want to get somebody's attention that I
- 24:22Speaker 3: haven't seen, Like I'm in a relationship and I haven't
- 24:24Speaker 3: seen el, send a little sexy shot or something nothing
- 24:27Speaker 3: that I mortified about to get them go.
- 24:30Speaker 4: And then they're like Jesus, It's like they're like.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Susan's got a guy, but we can't talk about it yet,
- 24:39Speaker 2: but a guy that she's sort of maybe and chatting with.
- 24:42Speaker 2: And I saw her video with him this morning.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, is this the guy for Marshalls.
- 24:48Speaker 2: No, he's gone.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Okay, well he's still my friend.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Okay, good, that's all.
- 24:53Speaker 3: He wants his friendship. And I'll see him again. I'm
- 24:55Speaker 3: sure I will, but nothing.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Meanwhile, I've been hanging out Marcus hoping the same thing
- 25:01Speaker 2: happens to me.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You're stepping it up. You're going to Neiman Marcus.
- 25:04Speaker 2: That's right now.
- 25:06Speaker 3: This is a face that's been on television and the
- 25:09Speaker 3: world seemed to think that we were a lot alike
- 25:12Speaker 3: that we should meet.
- 25:13Speaker 2: And I've been wanting because you know, Susan I are
- 25:15Speaker 2: was out here and out of here in LA and
- 25:19Speaker 2: so they've talked a few times and videoed a couple
- 25:22Speaker 2: of times. In fact, he facetimed her this morning, and
- 25:26Speaker 2: because that's who I am, I picked up the phone
- 25:29Speaker 2: and answered her phone and said, oh hello, I didn't
- 25:33Speaker 2: know you were so interested. And his face was like,
- 25:35Speaker 2: oh you like, where are my child? That's great, but
- 25:39Speaker 2: I but you were very flirty with him. I can
- 25:41Speaker 2: see where this of a chemistry.
- 25:44Speaker 1: This is exciting.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and you think I was flirty? Are you kidding me?
- 25:49Speaker 4: What did I do?
- 25:53Speaker 3: I didn't do it in front of him, but she's
- 25:55Speaker 3: talking about it, and I knew I was going to
- 25:56Speaker 3: see you and I have.
- 25:58Speaker 2: She was talking about her nip arriving and where nipples. Oh,
- 26:02Speaker 2: I love him and I'm sitting like you marry comfort.
- 26:06Speaker 1: That is very flirty.
- 26:07Speaker 2: You're right, but can you believe she just said to me,
- 26:10Speaker 2: Jenny and my flirting talking about your nipples?
- 26:14Speaker 4: It was something I had to do.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Excuse me, I got to get off the screen. I
- 26:16Speaker 2: got to put my nipples.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not that sexy.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Sorry, been like this.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I want to talk about something that's a little you know,
- 26:28Speaker 1: just a little bit more deep.
- 26:29Speaker 2: You mean Susan's nipples aren't deep enough for I'm.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Enjoying that conversation greatly, but I want to talk about like,
- 26:35Speaker 1: when you're looking for love again, our minds kind of
- 26:38Speaker 1: automatically go to, oh, they had a divorce, But for
- 26:43Speaker 1: so many out there, looking for love again is because
- 26:45Speaker 1: of a loss. Does having a sexual relationship become more
- 26:49Speaker 1: complicated if your partner has lost a spouse or if
- 26:52Speaker 1: you have lost a.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Spouse, depending on the time. She could answer that better
- 26:56Speaker 4: than me, because I didn't. But I wouldn't want.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Somebody friendly out of losing his spouse, his wife. I'm
- 27:05Speaker 3: not going to replace anybody. I couldn't be who he
- 27:08Speaker 3: was with. So I would just hope that there was
- 27:10Speaker 3: some time in between and he was open and ready.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Like when you watch Joan the other night, when last
- 27:16Speaker 3: week when she said I don't know if I'm ready,
- 27:19Speaker 3: and when she accepted the fact that she's not going
- 27:22Speaker 3: to replace her husband. She'll always have the memory of him.
- 27:27Speaker 4: But that's more. I mean, that's to be opened the law.
- 27:31Speaker 2: That's true. I think for me, my husband died. It's
- 27:34Speaker 2: five and a half years ago, and I think I
- 27:37Speaker 2: thought I was ready earlier for sex and an intimate
- 27:41Speaker 2: relationship before I really was ready. I mean, I can
- 27:45Speaker 2: honestly say now I will never my husband will. I
- 27:49Speaker 2: always will carry him in my heart, and just like
- 27:52Speaker 2: having children, my heart is expanded to be open to
- 27:57Speaker 2: a new relationship and such. I've never compared. I just
- 28:04Speaker 2: never compared emotionally, intellectually anything. I've never compared everybody because
- 28:11Speaker 2: everyone's different. I think I think it would have been
- 28:17Speaker 2: a lot harder if I'd been in serious relationships too soon.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You have to have that time to have at that time.
- 28:25Speaker 2: You know, to get through grief, you have to walk
- 28:27Speaker 2: through it and to get to a place where you're
- 28:30Speaker 2: ready for an intimate relationship. It takes a lot of
- 28:33Speaker 2: work and time. I was never divorced, Susan's divorced. I
- 28:37Speaker 2: think it looks a little different to someone who has
- 28:41Speaker 2: lost a partner that was happily. I mean, all meagers
- 28:46Speaker 2: have issues where you you know your husband's alive and
- 28:50Speaker 2: she was ready to move on. Mine was abruptly taken
- 28:53Speaker 2: from me. So I think it depends on the situation.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I'm very sorry for your loss.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 28:58Speaker 1: That's so hard that I know so many women out
- 29:02Speaker 1: there listening are faced with that, and it's it's so
- 29:06Speaker 1: complicated and layered the emotions around it.
- 29:10Speaker 2: It is, But I just I wish women would understand
- 29:13Speaker 2: that you have to give yourself grace and time. And
- 29:18Speaker 2: you know, my husband died by suicide, so I had
- 29:21Speaker 2: a lot of guilt and fear all kinds of things,
- 29:24Speaker 2: and life is not over. That's the message. I always
- 29:29Speaker 2: your your intimate relationships, you can have another one. It's
- 29:33Speaker 2: not it's not defaming your relationship you had. It's not
- 29:39Speaker 2: saying I forget that. It's just it's it's the one
- 29:43Speaker 2: life we have.
- 29:44Speaker 3: And other people some women feel like they're not even worthy.
- 29:48Speaker 2: And yeah, they don't feel worthy, and they feel like
- 29:51Speaker 2: their life is over. And that's the message that life
- 29:53Speaker 2: is not over your sex life. You know you are
- 29:57Speaker 2: in control. You can get up off the sofa and
- 30:00Speaker 2: yourself a new life.
- 30:01Speaker 3: And I have a suggestion for this, Lady's he womanizer.
- 30:05Speaker 4: Oh and you do it.
- 30:06Speaker 1: It's really feels.
- 30:07Speaker 4: So much better.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Well, I feel one hundred thousand percent better if I
- 30:11Speaker 3: have an orgasm. It's a healthy thing for me for
- 30:15Speaker 3: my attitude changes. I can roll with this.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It's a chemical difference.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so chemical.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Yes, it is. The women that are stuck home and
- 30:23Speaker 4: feeling so low. Try it.
- 30:26Speaker 1: See what happens.
- 30:28Speaker 3: You'll make yourself happy, might be more open to finding
- 30:32Speaker 3: somebody you.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Know, right, Yeah, might ignite something.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I also think women feel guilty. We've talked about this.
- 30:38Speaker 2: I think women at any age sometimes feel guilty for
- 30:43Speaker 2: wanting to feel sexually satisfied, Like you it's that Victorian
- 30:47Speaker 2: thing where you're not supposed to not you know, but
- 30:50Speaker 2: I do think some women. Don't you think some women
- 30:52Speaker 2: feel that way? Oh I hope that's not healthy. I
- 30:58Speaker 2: did say it was healthy.
- 30:59Speaker 3: I just say feel like they feel like they don't deserve,
- 31:02Speaker 3: not me.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I think there are women, I think, at every age
- 31:07Speaker 2: who believe sex is something to produce children. You don't
- 31:12Speaker 2: have sex for enjoyment. You have sex because you're going
- 31:15Speaker 2: to appropriate. I think there's still women.
- 31:18Speaker 4: All the Catholics might still feel like that.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I feel like that women have always just worried about pleasing, pleasing, pleasing, especially.
- 31:28Speaker 4: In bed, until you're fifty.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Until you're fifty, and then you're like.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what. I might have said a little
- 31:36Speaker 2: before fifty, but what does your husband please you? First?
- 31:40Speaker 4: Yes, there's importance right there. Men that want to go
- 31:44Speaker 4: in and go what whoa wha wha what who?
- 31:45Speaker 3: What?
- 31:45Speaker 4: What?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Do we know? My man? Thank you man?
- 31:47Speaker 3: Though, we're gonna do this, We're gonna have fun, We're
- 31:49Speaker 3: gonna explore each other.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I'm like, do you have a bus to catch or not?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Sometimes? Not ever? Don't you ever just want a quick
- 31:59Speaker 1: little thing and be done with it right.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's that when I was married.
- 32:03Speaker 3: But I don't have a boyfriend now, so I don't
- 32:05Speaker 3: get to do any of the buves.
- 32:07Speaker 1: You want to enjoy the game.
- 32:09Speaker 3: When we do it, it's going to take out, going
- 32:13Speaker 3: to milk it having what is that I want?
- 32:19Speaker 2: Roses and champagne. Room.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Oh, let's do it for hours and trades, just pouring
- 32:25Speaker 3: raining outside.
- 32:28Speaker 1: That's the best when it's raining out.
- 32:29Speaker 2: For a fire race, turned up music, champagne.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Not so much the lifeguard stand or anything. You know what,
- 32:43Speaker 4: remember those things the back of the car back.
- 32:46Speaker 5: In the day.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Wait, you did it in a lifeguard stand.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I tried. I couldn't do it.
- 32:50Speaker 1: What do you mean you couldn't do it?
- 32:51Speaker 4: I mean I stood there while they did it, but
- 32:53Speaker 4: I didn't want to do anything.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, was it in the daytime or a nighttime?
- 33:01Speaker 4: Nighttime?
- 33:02Speaker 1: It's just making sure.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Because I'm so outspoken and comfortable with the conversation of it,
- 33:08Speaker 3: people assume a lot of things about me that are
- 33:12Speaker 3: mostly not true.
- 33:13Speaker 4: But that's okay if you want to think it.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I come across like I was easy and have multiple
- 33:18Speaker 3: millions of partners, and I have not, But I'm not
- 33:21Speaker 3: here to explain that to anybody. I don't care what
- 33:23Speaker 3: they don't like. People think I have tattoos all the time.
- 33:28Speaker 3: You must think tattoos everybody.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Why would they they assume.
- 33:33Speaker 3: People assume because I'm loud and i'm both bull and I'm.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Super quiet, and I have tattoos. So there you go.
- 33:41Speaker 1: You don't have any in your loud.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I've never heard tattoos going with being lacked. I've never
- 33:47Speaker 2: heard that.
- 33:47Speaker 3: They just it's just a personality thing because I don't
- 33:51Speaker 3: have to say the word of naxis.
- 33:52Speaker 4: But I'm fine.
- 33:54Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 33:55Speaker 1: You're outspoken. Yeah, you're fun.
- 33:57Speaker 2: That's what it covered.
- 33:59Speaker 4: I wrote motorcycle right away. They thought, oh, you're tad.
- 34:04Speaker 4: I'm pierced, but I'm.
- 34:06Speaker 1: W wait wait, wait, wait we you're pierced yeah in
- 34:12Speaker 1: your ears?
- 34:13Speaker 4: Yes you're not.
- 34:15Speaker 2: You're not piercing any place, not anymore because.
- 34:18Speaker 1: You had to take it out.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 34:23Speaker 4: I made the doctor do it.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Wait where was the piercing?
- 34:26Speaker 3: Please?
- 34:26Speaker 4: Can I okay?
- 34:28Speaker 1: In your vaginal area? Right, okay, I've never explored that.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Yes, I did that for my fiftieth birthday.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Why did you do that?
- 34:38Speaker 3: Because it was something that I thought was cool and
- 34:42Speaker 3: I didn't want to tattoo you know what, I want
- 34:44Speaker 3: to do something.
- 34:45Speaker 2: She did it. She could be the guy. It was
- 34:48Speaker 2: called a great conversation starter.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well did it hurt? And how was it? No?
- 34:55Speaker 4: And then it was professionally done?
- 34:57Speaker 1: And how did it did it get in the way
- 34:59Speaker 1: of things?
- 35:00Speaker 4: We never never? Actually I thought it would do more
- 35:03Speaker 4: than it did.
- 35:04Speaker 2: You thought would help you. I thought it.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Would stimulate either him or I or something that it
- 35:09Speaker 3: was a novel.
- 35:10Speaker 2: It was, it was. It was an earring that he
- 35:14Speaker 2: lost its partner lost its way.
- 35:17Speaker 4: I feel like though, at seventy I'm going to do
- 35:20Speaker 4: it again. Okay, yeah, sixty nine.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Okay, sixty nine, I like that better.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you're probably gonna have to go with her, Kathy
- 35:28Speaker 1: and make sure it's done right.
- 35:31Speaker 3: I would love for a partner to go with me,
- 35:33Speaker 3: like in a relationship and he think it was cool
- 35:36Speaker 3: and hold my hand and go in and do it
- 35:38Speaker 3: together like that would kill me.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You are wild. I've had in the nineties. I had
- 35:43Speaker 1: my belly button pierced. That's it. That's about it. I
- 35:46Speaker 1: thought it was so cool. Can we just talk about
- 35:58Speaker 1: the Golden Bachelor at what do you.
- 36:02Speaker 3: They're all so warm and and they shared their emotions
- 36:06Speaker 3: about it.
- 36:08Speaker 1: How many times do you cry during one of them?
- 36:10Speaker 1: I can't stop crying.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Well, I got choked up when their kids came on.
- 36:14Speaker 2: That was Yeah. I think I think when I thought
- 36:18Speaker 2: about our season, I think that these men are showing,
- 36:22Speaker 2: like we showed on our show, that they're mature, they
- 36:25Speaker 2: have feelings, they know how to have fun, their lives
- 36:29Speaker 2: aren't over, They're ready to be vulnerable. They're they're grateful
- 36:33Speaker 2: for their life experiences and I love that.
- 36:36Speaker 4: One of the hardest parts for me and I want
- 36:38Speaker 4: to date with one of them.
- 36:40Speaker 3: I was watching them at the Rose ceremony and that
- 36:43Speaker 3: hope in their eyes.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I remember what that felt like. Yes, like oh God,
- 36:50Speaker 4: my name.
- 36:51Speaker 2: But don't you love that the hope you can feel.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Maybe we've talked about this. Maybe its because we were
- 36:57Speaker 2: on the show. We know what they feel, what they're feeling,
- 37:01Speaker 2: and they're all they're hoping for a second chance at love.
- 37:04Speaker 1: They you know, and then they get disappointed and it's crushing.
- 37:08Speaker 5: It's so you know whatck Coathy and Susan right, Okay,
- 37:14Speaker 5: just may not be speaking to someone on that show.
- 37:19Speaker 2: He may or may not be speaking to someone, said
- 37:22Speaker 2: Kathy Noddy, who was on that show.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Who is it? Is it Charles?
- 37:27Speaker 2: No?
- 37:27Speaker 3: Oh, God bless Charles.
- 37:30Speaker 2: The world loves him.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I know, how do you think Joan is handling all
- 37:34Speaker 1: these men? And who do you think she has the
- 37:36Speaker 1: most chemistry with?
- 37:38Speaker 3: Well, from the day one, we had a couple of
- 37:42Speaker 3: people and we had we had a different form.
- 37:45Speaker 2: But guy, we thought she got and Jordan.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Wait, wait, In this week's episode, Chalk did some shocking things.
- 37:55Speaker 1: He went home because his mother passed away. So then
- 37:58Speaker 1: he came back.
- 38:01Speaker 4: That's just it, that's it.
- 38:03Speaker 2: He came back.
- 38:05Speaker 3: You know why because he's falling in love and I
- 38:08Speaker 3: think she has a sparkle in our eyes for him
- 38:11Speaker 3: with that version.
- 38:12Speaker 2: We know her, we know Joan, So when she was
- 38:15Speaker 2: on the day, you could see a sparkling, right. I mean,
- 38:19Speaker 2: like I said it from the beginning, my money's on Chalk.
- 38:22Speaker 2: That's why I thought it, from the first time I
- 38:25Speaker 2: saw them together.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Well, thank god he came back then.
- 38:27Speaker 4: And it's funny because that's what Joe.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Trust me, we've tried to find out Joan won't tell.
- 38:33Speaker 4: Us on our show.
- 38:34Speaker 3: It was that first important date that he ended up with,
- 38:39Speaker 3: whether very great decision or not. But that's Teresa was
- 38:43Speaker 3: the first date that they bonded over similar things. And
- 38:47Speaker 3: I just saw the same thing with Chuck and Joan body.
- 38:51Speaker 2: So it's also the look. I mean, I know, I'm
- 38:54Speaker 2: not sure people you know out in Vachelor Nation, but
- 38:57Speaker 2: we know her, we're friends with her. And then there's
- 38:59Speaker 2: a look in her eye, the smile. We were watching
- 39:03Speaker 2: together and we both put each other and that's looking
- 39:06Speaker 2: pretty promising. And we know who's left over, yeah, we know.
- 39:10Speaker 2: And then there's I think Guy. I think she's interested
- 39:13Speaker 2: in Guy. He's the er doctor. I mean, she's she's
- 39:18Speaker 2: getting down to it now because she's sending lots of people.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Home and tough. Yeah, it's so hard. I have to
- 39:24Speaker 1: ask you this though in your your season, would you
- 39:29Speaker 1: have slept with Gary?
- 39:32Speaker 2: That's where she says.
- 39:33Speaker 1: No, emphatic no, across the board. That's what I thought.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Great now, But you know what I'm I Both Susan
- 39:43Speaker 2: and I are the same on this. We were in
- 39:44Speaker 2: the friend zone real quickly with Gary, and he's a
- 39:47Speaker 2: nice guy. But but I would not I would not
- 39:51Speaker 2: want to send the message to the world that you know,
- 39:54Speaker 2: I've done this guy for three weeks and and talk
- 39:58Speaker 2: to him, you know, accumulation of what an hour and
- 40:00Speaker 2: a half if I had a one on one And
- 40:02Speaker 2: now I'm gonna bed down.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Let's see just what I have with the show is
- 40:07Speaker 3: they don't get enough time to get to know each other.
- 40:12Speaker 2: I wish I think Jones getting more time.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Well, yes he has a two hour show, but I
- 40:16Speaker 3: really wish that they would maybe lessen the amount of
- 40:20Speaker 3: people and let an actual, you know, relationship start with
- 40:24Speaker 3: several people to make that decision and Quarry.
- 40:29Speaker 2: We've talked to Gary and he said to me, I
- 40:32Speaker 2: wish I'd gotten to know you better, Kathy. I just
- 40:35Speaker 2: didn't know who you were. And that's true. We caught
- 40:38Speaker 2: up in the moment we got moment we hardly talked.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I mean, although I'm grateful there is a show, but
- 40:44Speaker 3: now rumor has some I don't know, paradise thing for a.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Seniors Susan's going to be exhibiting all her tattoos.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Right, I'm so ready for that.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I'm going to be wearing.
- 40:55Speaker 4: However, they can't do it the same number one.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I'm not going with bugs and I'm not worry.
- 41:02Speaker 1: But paradise to us is different, way different.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Yes, it's like my idea camping is no phone in
- 41:11Speaker 3: the room.
- 41:13Speaker 2: But you know what I got to say, I could
- 41:16Speaker 2: fall in love. We're both sitting on that way fall
- 41:19Speaker 2: You fall fast and fall hard. If I found something
- 41:22Speaker 2: I was interested in, yeah, I could see me falling.
- 41:25Speaker 3: In love well, but I was head over heels over Gary.
- 41:27Speaker 3: I would have been a whole different character. I was
- 41:31Speaker 3: totally man, you can't hide from you.
- 41:34Speaker 2: One of us wanted to go pick corn and you know,
- 41:37Speaker 2: run through corn mazes in Indiana, Like it wasn't an
- 41:40Speaker 2: exciting but he's a nice time.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Do you think that in the Fantasy Sweet episode, yes,
- 41:47Speaker 1: I just what happens in there when the cameras are.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Off, something that needs to happen happens. You are not
- 41:55Speaker 3: being filmed, you are not being recorded. You speak from
- 41:59Speaker 3: the soul. The majority of the world thinks you're getting late,
- 42:02Speaker 3: and maybe.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Some people do. Oh, I think I think not.
- 42:06Speaker 2: It's a bad I don't know because we were not
- 42:08Speaker 2: in the Fantasy suite right with each other or conversations,
- 42:12Speaker 2: but I think they have the conversations about you know,
- 42:16Speaker 2: Fancis and life and children. Does it work? Yeah, but
- 42:20Speaker 2: I think they all take the blue pill or is
- 42:23Speaker 2: this a nutural thing? You know what? That would not
- 42:26Speaker 2: be the conversation I'd be having the fantasy suite. But
- 42:29Speaker 2: I think that those are important conversations to have because
- 42:33Speaker 2: it's such a truncated section of your life. It's fast
- 42:37Speaker 2: experience and.
- 42:39Speaker 4: But you need those.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I know Joe made a statement prior to the
- 42:44Speaker 3: show that she was not going to sleep over. Well,
- 42:47Speaker 3: you know what, people get late in two hours and
- 42:49Speaker 3: you could still leave the room at two am.
- 42:52Speaker 4: So don't think that's what's going to convince the world.
- 42:54Speaker 4: I'm serious.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Well, she's she's going into it trying to be respectable,
- 43:00Speaker 1: but she wants to put out the right message. You
- 43:02Speaker 1: guys are so amazing. I love that you're just like
- 43:04Speaker 1: open books and talking to women of a certain age
- 43:08Speaker 1: about all this because nobody's talking about it, and we
- 43:12Speaker 1: should all be just talking about openly and sharing our experiences.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Even women at a younger age can get things from us.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we started this whole thing. I said, it's a
- 43:24Speaker 2: normal body function. It's like sex should be part of
- 43:28Speaker 2: everyone's life. It's part of life and a good sex life.
- 43:32Speaker 3: But I have daughters, you don't want to experience it
- 43:36Speaker 3: until way later, well until.
- 43:38Speaker 2: They're mostly ready. But you know, I think we're old enough.
- 43:43Speaker 4: We are not dead yet.
- 43:45Speaker 1: You you are in your prime, this lumor, you're both
- 43:52Speaker 1: so amazing, and it's okay to want different things in
- 43:55Speaker 1: your relationships as you grow and change, you know, and
- 43:59Speaker 1: just identifying them those things and knowing what's important to
- 44:02Speaker 1: you and finding a person that matches up.
- 44:05Speaker 3: And possibly a lot of your listeners and a lot
- 44:08Speaker 3: of people judge both of us, but I know I've
- 44:11Speaker 3: been judged for well, I'm not like you, Susan.
- 44:14Speaker 4: I'm not outgoing, and I'm not this, and I'm not that.
- 44:18Speaker 3: But you have feelings inside, you have thoughts, and when
- 44:22Speaker 3: you become of a certain age, you're less intimidated maybe
- 44:28Speaker 3: by what others are thinking.
- 44:30Speaker 2: You're comfortable in your own skin. But I think also
- 44:34Speaker 2: she's absolutly right. I couldn't agree with you more.
- 44:37Speaker 3: That's nice scary when we're your brain.
- 44:41Speaker 2: But here's the thing. I think I would want your
- 44:43Speaker 2: listeners to know that life doesn't begin to end with sex.
- 44:49Speaker 2: And so people who are sitting at home saying I'm
- 44:51Speaker 2: afraid to date. I don't know what to do. I
- 44:53Speaker 2: think my body's good enough. All those things that we
- 44:56Speaker 2: do to ourselves, I think it's a progression, and so
- 45:00Speaker 2: try the woman Why I know it's to get out
- 45:04Speaker 2: there and live your life and build relationships, then use
- 45:08Speaker 2: the womanizer, then go back out. In other words, sex good,
- 45:12Speaker 2: healthy sex, like intimacy, doesn't just happen right. You have
- 45:17Speaker 2: to get out and do things. And I think sometimes
- 45:19Speaker 2: women are intimidated by putting themselves out there. So don't be.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Intimidated out And the only other thing I could hopefully
- 45:27Speaker 3: suggest is be comfortable in your own skins. Be okay
- 45:32Speaker 3: with your body, no matter what it looks like, because
- 45:34Speaker 3: none of us look great except who you are.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Except who you are.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Yes, that's my whole thing. I just want everybody who's
- 45:43Speaker 1: listening to remember. If you take nothing away from this conversation,
- 45:46Speaker 1: take away the fact that the second time around at
- 45:49Speaker 1: love starts with loving yourself.
- 45:53Speaker 2: If you don't love yourself, you can't possibly love someone else.
- 45:58Speaker 2: You have to love your self to be open to
- 46:01Speaker 2: letting someone love you and loving them back.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Words of wisdom. I love you guys, if you are single,
- 46:08Speaker 1: and ready to find love again. Or you want to
