- 0:16Speaker 1: The routine is active.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We had sunshine again today, highs right around eighty. Try
- 0:22Speaker 2: and choose to be happy about getting up and getting
- 0:25Speaker 2: out of bed today.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, Try to choose.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Try to choose that other people can't change your mood.
- 0:32Speaker 1: They really shouldn't be able to do it. The power
- 0:34Speaker 1: we give other peoples.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Too much, too much, so true, don't let them take
- 0:38Speaker 4: your happiness too much?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Like how can I let you someone else, a stranger, huh,
- 0:46Speaker 2: change my mood?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Like my just literally adjust my blood pressure?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Why why do we have such problems with that? Don't
- 0:56Speaker 2: let someone at work ruin your day. That's their problem.
- 1:00Speaker 5: It's the people pleaser in us. I think.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I love that I have people pleasure people pleaser thing.
- 1:08Speaker 2: But it's also it's a blessing and a curse to
- 1:10Speaker 2: pleasure people.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Yes, it is, it really is, and it starts.
- 1:14Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I love.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I actually don't relax if anybody's staying with me. I
- 1:23Speaker 2: don't relax if I'm on an I don't relax. If
- 1:26Speaker 2: I'm entertaining people for dinner, I don't really relax. Do
- 1:31Speaker 2: I enjoy it?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Kind of?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I enjoy it, but then at the same time,
- 1:36Speaker 2: I never really settle.
- 1:38Speaker 1: That's why I can if you come over.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I love to cook, but I cannot cook for you
- 1:41Speaker 2: because I cannot. I cannot focus on you and the food,
- 1:45Speaker 2: making it good or making it good enough for you.
- 1:48Speaker 1: At the same time.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I understand that one hundred percent. Like the multitasking is hard.
- 1:51Speaker 4: When you're trying to host people over at your house.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's hard.
- 1:55Speaker 2: The music's too love, the music is not lot enough.
- 1:56Speaker 2: The light is on the handles out like I can't
- 1:59Speaker 2: find out. This is what it's like to come over.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah, just do me a favorite.
- 2:05Speaker 2: If I invite you over, say no, no, no.
- 2:10Speaker 6: Yes, I love no.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I love when you invite us over.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I know, but I don't relax. You don't relax.
- 2:18Speaker 3: You seem very relaxed. Last time.
- 2:19Speaker 4: You were just chatting away, facetiming people. We're having a
- 2:23Speaker 4: great time drinking wine.
- 2:24Speaker 1: That's the actor in me.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Please, You're not a Golden Globe not nominated actor in me. Anyway.
- 2:34Speaker 2: That's my rant for this morning. Here we go secrets
- 2:37Speaker 2: with you. Thanks for listening to us. So, yeah, the
- 2:40Speaker 2: two hundred and fiftieth birthday, big deal come out July
- 2:43Speaker 2: Fourth's gonna be a big celebration, bigger than it always is,
- 2:47Speaker 2: big but bigger.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I can see that.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And there so I guess in nineteen twenty six for
- 2:54Speaker 2: the one hundred and fiftieth the futurists these are people
- 2:57Speaker 2: who are experts in the future. I study future stuff
- 3:00Speaker 2: and they can predict. They think they can predict what's
- 3:03Speaker 2: going to happen. And here's what they predicted that was
- 3:06Speaker 2: actually pretty There's some stuff that was pretty close in
- 3:08Speaker 2: some stuff that really wasn't. But I remember in elementary
- 3:11Speaker 2: school when my teachers were like, yeah, one day your
- 3:14Speaker 2: watch will be your phone, and I thought, how is
- 3:18Speaker 2: that possible. She's like, one day you will listen to
- 3:20Speaker 2: your music on your watch, and it didn't make sense
- 3:23Speaker 2: to me. Right, I've got to put a compact disc.
- 3:25Speaker 1: In my watch. I didn't understand. Well, she was right.
- 3:30Speaker 1: So they predicted.
- 3:31Speaker 2: The futurists said robots will clean our homes amaze. Yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 2: and it's true the room, But is a robot that
- 3:40Speaker 2: can vacuum your home. Yeah, they said a tiny screen
- 3:44Speaker 2: in the wall would give us the news of the
- 3:46Speaker 2: day in live sports.
- 3:49Speaker 1: That's not much of a big prediction, is it like
- 3:52Speaker 1: a screen?
- 3:52Speaker 4: It is considering like back then there was no TVs
- 3:55Speaker 4: to begin with. So the fact that they even predicted
- 3:57Speaker 4: that is pretty spot on.
- 4:00Speaker 2: All right, Now here's some stuff that was not close.
- 4:02Speaker 2: They said that by now all people most people will
- 4:05Speaker 2: travel to places by air, and most people will own
- 4:09Speaker 2: their own airplane. WHOA, that's didn't them? No, I mean
- 4:14Speaker 2: that seems very congested. The skies would be super congested.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I don't like.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I don't thought there was me flying cars. I don't
- 4:22Speaker 2: trust people driving cars. Man flying a car get away.
- 4:27Speaker 2: It's amazing how much trust we put into the other
- 4:29Speaker 2: person not cross that center line. Yeah, yeah, we trust
- 4:33Speaker 2: strangers with just not crossing that two inches. Also, they
- 4:38Speaker 2: said the future has said that science will eliminate disease
- 4:42Speaker 2: and old age.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Well, we're waiting for that.
- 4:45Speaker 7: How So.
- 4:47Speaker 2: They said one hundred will no longer be considered old.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Many people will see two hundred. Wow, there's no chance
- 4:53Speaker 2: we don't There's no chance.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'd be happy to get to.
- 4:56Speaker 3: A hundred yeah, lucky.
- 5:00Speaker 4: We are living longer though, and you're getting into your
- 5:02Speaker 4: eighties and nineties.
- 5:03Speaker 3: One hundred, But.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Two hundred I don't need to be around for that long.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Everything nothing. I don't need two hundred.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I would be down.
- 5:10Speaker 3: You're great, great great grandchildren.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Just get me to one hundred. I'm not greedy about it.
- 5:15Speaker 2: On other things, they said that the future said music
- 5:18Speaker 2: will be a thing of the past, with melody replaced
- 5:22Speaker 2: with snorts, grunts and noises.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Ew who wants that?
- 5:26Speaker 2: What kind of How did you become a futurist with
- 5:29Speaker 2: any credibility? You person had said that, no, music is universal.
- 5:33Speaker 2: It soothes, it's therapy.
- 5:35Speaker 1: We need it. Speaking of Which'm gonna play a bunch
- 5:37Speaker 1: of it coming up next.
- 5:39Speaker 2: If you were in the valley recently and you're at
- 5:41Speaker 2: Sportsman's Lodge, you better watch your back because Systney's coming
- 5:45Speaker 2: after you.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You are a thief. This happens to all of us.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I know you're a thief. Someone blatantly stole your parking space.
- 5:54Speaker 1: What happened?
- 5:55Speaker 8: So this?
- 5:56Speaker 4: If you've been to the shops at Sportsmen's Lodge, you
- 5:59Speaker 4: know the parking there is wild, and especially during peak
- 6:03Speaker 4: hours like lunchtime or like when people get off work. Honestly,
- 6:06Speaker 4: anytime of the day, it's crazy. So I was waiting
- 6:09Speaker 4: for a spot, and you know how I like to.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Back my car in, right, I mean you are, yes.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I love that. When I back it in. Then when
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm ready to leave, I just leave. I don't have
- 6:20Speaker 3: to wait and look for cars.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So I went to pull forward.
- 6:23Speaker 4: I was waiting for the spot forever, and then then
- 6:25Speaker 4: they leave, and then I will go to pull forward
- 6:27Speaker 4: and to reverse it in, and then someone comes from
- 6:30Speaker 4: behind and just swoops right in as if they did
- 6:32Speaker 4: not see me, because I did not pass it.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I was going forward to reverse into it.
- 6:38Speaker 5: I think you can't reverse into spots when you're out
- 6:41Speaker 5: in the wild.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Wait mean out in the wild.
- 6:44Speaker 9: Here we get here so early, there's nobody really around,
- 6:47Speaker 9: you can do your thing. But like when there's other
- 6:49Speaker 9: people around, you can't do it.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, I'm with tany that you are
- 6:54Speaker 2: running a risk by doing this whole three point turnaround
- 6:57Speaker 2: to keep backing it in where people.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Are confused with what you're doing.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Like if I were to see you doing the back
- 7:02Speaker 2: and I would think, oh, she's going the other way.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'm taking the spot. So when you do this your
- 7:07Speaker 2: efficiency parking model, you aware that you may be sending
- 7:10Speaker 2: the wrong signal.
- 7:11Speaker 4: They definitely saw me, they knew that I was waiting.
- 7:14Speaker 4: They were just a jerk.
- 7:15Speaker 1: And so did you at your window down? What did
- 7:18Speaker 1: you do? I did not hunt.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I was frustrated, but it was just one of those
- 7:22Speaker 4: things and I was like, Okay, I'm not going to
- 7:23Speaker 4: let this ruin my day because otherwise I'm just going
- 7:25Speaker 4: to be mean to everybody.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I've been seeing a lot of this lately.
- 7:29Speaker 9: We were pulling out of a spot and there was
- 7:30Speaker 9: a car like with their blinker to take our spot,
- 7:32Speaker 9: and another car came from the other side of the
- 7:35Speaker 9: street and went into it before the other car that
- 7:37Speaker 9: was waiting.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Yeah, at least every time I'm there someone's fighting. Like
- 7:41Speaker 4: there's like people honking or yelling at each other. Because
- 7:43Speaker 4: this happens often, especially.
- 7:44Speaker 2: There, don't be one of those people as it affect you,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and don't be almost feel that cuts off the park Also
- 7:49Speaker 2: stop with a three point turn around.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Back and that's really cool, honestly.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Two point seven kiss FM. All right, check it out.
- 7:57Speaker 2: How do you do with getting shots? I think mikaylay,
- 7:59Speaker 2: you were telling me you're not good at shots.
- 8:01Speaker 10: No, I keep putting off a doctor's appointment because I
- 8:04Speaker 10: don't want to go.
- 8:05Speaker 2: And how about with giving blood or taking you know,
- 8:08Speaker 2: when you get your lab that's worse.
- 8:10Speaker 11: I can't even say the word because I like pass out.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm not good with needles.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Myself actually get I get weak, like weird week whatever
- 8:20Speaker 2: it is, what happens, weak in the knees. But there
- 8:24Speaker 2: are fifteen million Americans that say they get sweaty and
- 8:27Speaker 2: weak when it's time for a shot at the doctor's office. Anxiety,
- 8:31Speaker 2: all the stuff. So if you struggle with it, try this.
- 8:34Speaker 2: This is your medical tip for the day. Hum a
- 8:38Speaker 2: song while you get the shot. Hum a song. I mean,
- 8:43Speaker 2: some nurses are so good at the art of distraction.
- 8:45Speaker 2: They'll like, ask you about your birthday and while you're
- 8:47Speaker 2: answer and boom, the shot goes in.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the best.
- 8:50Speaker 2: So I think the distraction is the key. Today's quote
- 8:55Speaker 2: never love your opinion more than your partner. In other words,
- 9:01Speaker 2: don't fight it just to win. Get over yourself. Speak
- 9:05Speaker 2: to you directly.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I know you're speaking to me directly. She has if
- 9:12Speaker 1: I am right.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Then I have to express that.
- 9:15Speaker 1: You're the only one that thinks you're right.
- 9:17Speaker 2: If two people arguing, the carpenter tears coming up. After
- 9:21Speaker 2: seven o'clock, our intern Sofia goes to UC Riverside has
- 9:24Speaker 2: an issue, another roommate issue. We've all lived through these, man,
- 9:28Speaker 2: What I love to be your roommate? Hearing about this
- 9:30Speaker 2: next on the air, do they listen? That's better kiss
- 9:36Speaker 2: that's coming out for Sysney In the headline kiss FM
- 9:39Speaker 2: headlines Well, the.
- 9:41Speaker 4: White House announced it will strip federal funding from sanctuary
- 9:45Speaker 4: cities and states that have sanctuary cities, including California. The
- 9:50Speaker 4: La City Council voted to get rid of an old
- 9:52Speaker 4: law that could punish people for playing catch.
- 9:54Speaker 3: In parks or neighborhood streets.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Disney reportedly considered revamping Disneyland Tomorrowland, but ultimately decided against it,
- 10:02Speaker 4: saying it likely wouldn't bring any more visitors and BTS
- 10:06Speaker 4: has announced a world tour kicking off in South Korea
- 10:09Speaker 4: in April. They will be at Sofi Stadium in September.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Jew on a Kiss at Sharon tickets, rolling up, paying
- 10:16Speaker 2: your Bill's gonna call out another name in just a second,
- 10:19Speaker 2: if you sent me your name in good morning. Here
- 10:21Speaker 2: we go on this Wednesday, January fourteenth, it's time to
- 10:25Speaker 2: do it. Appreciate you checking in with us as your
- 10:28Speaker 2: regular routine in the morning. If you just listen to
- 10:30Speaker 2: us for the first time. Hi, I'm Ryan, Sisney, Tanya,
- 10:32Speaker 2: Sophia our intern. By the way, Sophia, our intern who
- 10:35Speaker 2: lives with other people. We've all done this, We've all
- 10:38Speaker 2: had roommates. I had a plethora roommates back in the
- 10:41Speaker 2: day coming through the system here when I first moved
- 10:44Speaker 2: out to La. It's just like a write a passage.
- 10:45Speaker 2: You've got to share when you first get here.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yep. And some weird stuff, some strange things happen when
- 10:51Speaker 1: you live with people. It's amazing. Yeah, people can be unique.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it could be unique.
- 11:00Speaker 2: So Sophia, what's the latest problem. And your roommate does listen,
- 11:04Speaker 2: so high roommate can go ahead.
- 11:07Speaker 5: So thankfully.
- 11:08Speaker 11: IM roommates with my two best friends, and they recently
- 11:12Speaker 11: came to me and were like, we want to buy
- 11:14Speaker 11: an espresso machine. And espresso machines are like three hundred
- 11:18Speaker 11: dollars off the bat, and they're like, okay, we can
- 11:21Speaker 11: just buy it and then we'll all just split the
- 11:23Speaker 11: cost and use it and have like a.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Bar in our apartment.
- 11:27Speaker 11: The only issue is is that I don't drink coffee
- 11:29Speaker 11: like that, And even if I was to get into coffee,
- 11:32Speaker 11: I feel like I would start off with maybe like
- 11:33Speaker 11: a cold brew from the grocery store. So if we
- 11:37Speaker 11: were to split the cost, like, I don't want to
- 11:39Speaker 11: be pitching in that much money even though I don't
- 11:42Speaker 11: drink the coffee.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Right, and they expect you to pitch in for it
- 11:47Speaker 2: as a non coffee advocate, Yeah.
- 11:49Speaker 4: They do.
- 11:50Speaker 11: And I've told them like, hey, I don't really you know,
- 11:52Speaker 11: drink coffee. I'm more of a tea person. And they're like, oh, well,
- 11:54Speaker 11: there's three of us, so we'll I'll just split it equally.
- 11:57Speaker 2: But first of all, you should never you should never
- 12:00Speaker 2: to your roommates, never live with just a tea person.
- 12:02Speaker 2: That's just a I would warn you about that before
- 12:06Speaker 2: you even got started on this path. I think it's
- 12:09Speaker 2: totally fair that you don't pay for it and you
- 12:12Speaker 2: don't use it like you just need to make sure
- 12:14Speaker 2: you don't borrow it or use it every once in
- 12:16Speaker 2: a while. And if they want to espresso machine, then
- 12:18Speaker 2: they need to go.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Yeah, they need to split it, just the two of them.
- 12:22Speaker 11: But then I'm kind of nervous because what if I
- 12:24Speaker 11: want to try the espresso one day.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Yeah, you could probably get some tea pods for it.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Right, But I feel like, for me, you have to
- 12:36Speaker 4: pay for it, So you got to decide.
- 12:37Speaker 1: What you want to do. I'd rather not pay for it,
- 12:39Speaker 1: not use it.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 12:41Speaker 11: I'll just buy my coffee from the store if I
- 12:43Speaker 11: get it, and by.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Then it's going to add up to what the costs
- 12:46Speaker 4: would have been for you to just happen, because you
- 12:49Speaker 4: gotta you gotta understand these things.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You bring an espresso machine into your life, where do
- 12:54Speaker 2: you put it? Counter space? Then when you guys all
- 12:56Speaker 2: break up and split up, who gets it?
- 12:58Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 13:00Speaker 4: Well, having roommates, so they're just never gonna have anything.
- 13:04Speaker 3: They won't have a couch, they won't have a coffee table.
- 13:09Speaker 2: To your roommates, be aware, she's only a tea drinker. Really,
- 13:12Speaker 2: it's one or two point seven except them. So we
- 13:14Speaker 2: were talking about this. Systaney brought this to our attention
- 13:16Speaker 2: and a lot of response from it. We've got Marissa
- 13:18Speaker 2: and Nicole joining us here. The Curpool Detectives. This is
- 13:21Speaker 2: a book, Sysney, right, the kurpl Detectives, a true story
- 13:25Speaker 2: of four moms, two bodies, and one mysterious cold case.
- 13:29Speaker 2: So basically, these moms took it upon themselves, not police,
- 13:32Speaker 2: took it upon themselves to solve this double murder and
- 13:35Speaker 2: seamy valley from years ago.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, it was like a fifteen year old case
- 13:39Speaker 4: that was cold, and these four La.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Moms took it upon themselves to figure it out.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Everybody said in the comments after we talked about this,
- 13:50Speaker 2: women should be in charge of solving all crimes.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Guys can't find.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Anything, and so they said, Marissa and Nicole, good morning.
- 13:59Speaker 12: Good morning, We're so excited to be here.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Well, we're so excited to hear more. You're very popular.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I think you're more popular than any of the videos
- 14:08Speaker 2: we post of ourselves.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So well done.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 14:13Speaker 10: Very surprising to hear that.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Let's start with Nicole, how is it that you all
- 14:18Speaker 2: decided to roll up your sleeves and pursue a double
- 14:22Speaker 2: murder case from fifteen years ago?
- 14:25Speaker 12: You know, it was the craziest thing. Marisa brought for
- 14:30Speaker 12: the idea and kind of was thinking about what she
- 14:35Speaker 12: was going to do with it when she heard about
- 14:37Speaker 12: this missing person's case and went ahead and was talking
- 14:42Speaker 12: about it to a bunch of us, and we were
- 14:45Speaker 12: all really immediately intrigued and interested, and we just all
- 14:50Speaker 12: come from there, four of us. We come from very
- 14:53Speaker 12: different backgrounds, from opposition research and politics to forensic accounting
- 14:57Speaker 12: to project management, and it all all kind of fits
- 15:00Speaker 12: the perfect puzzle, and we became an investigative team.
- 15:06Speaker 2: And so Marissa, you had this idea, how did you
- 15:09Speaker 2: go about finding clues and ultimately solving the mystery.
- 15:15Speaker 10: It was a long process, took us about two and
- 15:17Speaker 10: a half years. I stumbled upon a case in a
- 15:21Speaker 10: journalism class. I had gone back to school for journalism
- 15:25Speaker 10: as kind of like a second act. I was trying
- 15:28Speaker 10: to figure out what I wanted to do. I worked
- 15:29Speaker 10: in finance before, and so I found I saw this
- 15:34Speaker 10: video in this class of a car being extracted from
- 15:38Speaker 10: a ravine, and it said what was once thought to
- 15:41Speaker 10: be a terrible accident is now being investigated as a
- 15:44Speaker 10: double homicide. And I was immediately kind of taken by it,
- 15:47Speaker 10: and I went back and I googled it and I
- 15:51Speaker 10: just kept pulling out more strings and it was just
- 15:54Speaker 10: the more that I pulled up, the more interesting details
- 15:56Speaker 10: came out. And started with just like pulling some superior
- 16:01Speaker 10: court files, and then it was making a few phone
- 16:05Speaker 10: calls and then it just kind of took off and
- 16:08Speaker 10: we were like, you know, on the phone with the DA,
- 16:11Speaker 10: with the detectives, with accident reconstruction specialists, and it just
- 16:17Speaker 10: was It was incredible.
- 16:21Speaker 1: So this is Marsa and Nicole.
- 16:22Speaker 2: They have a book called The Carpool detect There are
- 16:25Speaker 2: four moms that did this, but The Carpool Detective is
- 16:26Speaker 2: a true story of four moms, two bodies, and one
- 16:28Speaker 2: mysterious cold case.
- 16:29Speaker 1: You can read this story now.
- 16:31Speaker 2: And what did the authority say when you were like, oh,
- 16:34Speaker 2: here's what you missed.
- 16:35Speaker 1: We solved the problem.
- 16:39Speaker 10: It didn't happen exactly like that, but basically what happened
- 16:42Speaker 10: when we started talking to the detectives. I think they
- 16:46Speaker 10: realized immediately that we had done a lot of leg
- 16:49Speaker 10: work and they started to get some respect for what
- 16:54Speaker 10: we had done, and you know, they let us down
- 16:58Speaker 10: a road of you know, say like, these are people
- 17:01Speaker 10: that you can talk to, and so they gave us
- 17:04Speaker 10: the go ahead to talk to some of the victim's family,
- 17:07Speaker 10: and so we started talking to some of the victim's
- 17:09Speaker 10: family and developed a really, really, really strong relationship with them,
- 17:14Speaker 10: which was you know, they started giving us pieces of
- 17:17Speaker 10: evidence that had never been seen before, and then our
- 17:22Speaker 10: relationship with law enforcement really built over that time. We
- 17:25Speaker 10: have a lot of respect for what they did, and
- 17:28Speaker 10: you know, they obviously had a lot of respect for
- 17:31Speaker 10: what we had done as well.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It's remarkable.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I mean, you see a true crime story and then
- 17:36Speaker 2: you say, ah, let's try and solve it, and then
- 17:40Speaker 2: you did it. Sounds like you used some finesse and
- 17:42Speaker 2: some charm and the fact that you kind of stumbled
- 17:45Speaker 2: upon this made them more comfortable with you. The families
- 17:48Speaker 2: they opened up to you. We'd like to borrow you
- 17:52Speaker 2: for a segment we call Ryan's Roses here.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Because they think that it would go on very well.
- 17:58Speaker 12: To fill you in, Ryan, I would be really remiss
- 18:01Speaker 12: not to tell you that the you know, this whole
- 18:04Speaker 12: experience has been incredible. Obviously, the book, we've been TV,
- 18:09Speaker 12: we've done this show, which is amazing, but nothing has
- 18:13Speaker 12: compared to the look on my husband's face when I
- 18:16Speaker 12: told him that we were doing Ryan Seacrest. He is
- 18:19Speaker 12: your biggest fan and starts multiple sentences a day with
- 18:24Speaker 12: Ryan says, and we're like Ryan, Ryan says. Ryan says
- 18:30Speaker 12: he doesn't understand why the conditioner laughs longer than the shampoo, right.
- 18:34Speaker 12: I mean, he is literally obsessed with you. And my
- 18:40Speaker 12: kids are like Ryan, says Ryan Seacrest's mom. So I
- 18:44Speaker 12: got to tell you that this is like the first
- 18:46Speaker 12: thing throughout all of this where he's like, Okay, wait,
- 18:49Speaker 12: this is actually very cool.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Well you telling him that, Ryan says, thank you. And
- 18:56Speaker 2: I never thought I'd fall in love with a strange
- 18:58Speaker 2: man before, but it sounds like he might be the one.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you're so might be my soul he does.
- 19:04Speaker 12: I think most of the time he likes you better
- 19:06Speaker 12: than he likes me.
- 19:07Speaker 2: So oh, I love that there's someone out there. Well,
- 19:12Speaker 2: that is very very sweet. Thank you guys so much
- 19:14Speaker 2: for sharing your story. Good luck and continued success with
- 19:16Speaker 2: the book. Nice to meet you.
- 19:18Speaker 12: Thank you so much. It was great to meet you guys.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Yes, take care bye bye.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I mean seriously, somebody out there is listening to this,
- 19:26Speaker 2: and I know there was a true crime story I saw.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna go for it. I'm gonna try and solve it.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Maybe you will like David the double Homicide. There's the
- 19:32Speaker 2: Weekend on kiss f and you know Cisteny, Tanya, Sophia.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Inside our iHeartRadio app, there is a red microphone. You
- 19:39Speaker 2: can send us stuff there and it's called a talk back. Right,
- 19:43Speaker 2: basically is a voice note. We just got one. This
- 19:45Speaker 2: one is from Brook in Woodland Hills. Remember we were
- 19:49Speaker 2: on the air and we were talking the other day
- 19:52Speaker 2: about songs from the twenty tens that it featured whoa, Yeah, whoa.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It was amazing how many did the same thing. There
- 20:00Speaker 2: were tons of them. We couldn't believe it when we
- 20:02Speaker 2: played them all back to back to back, right, whoa
- 20:05Speaker 2: was the thing of the twenty tens.
- 20:07Speaker 1: So then Brooke in Woodland Hills heard that and she said.
- 20:10Speaker 11: Hey, Ryan, Okay, so I heard you talking about how
- 20:13Speaker 11: many songs from the twenty tents.
- 20:14Speaker 12: Had whoa woe in it.
- 20:16Speaker 11: But what I realized is how many songs from back
- 20:19Speaker 11: then were about tonight. Every song tonight.
- 20:22Speaker 7: I don't know why, but you should check that out.
- 20:25Speaker 2: So thank you, Brook. I did, and I found out
- 20:28Speaker 2: you are right, oh yeah tonight. Here's one that's my fun.
- 20:36Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:37Speaker 2: That's from twenty twelve, Tonight, You're right, Brook again, enjoy
- 20:40Speaker 2: Life Tonight twenty eleven, You're right. The list went on.
- 20:52Speaker 2: She actually was right on the money. The list goes on.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Literally every song from the twenty tens has the lyric
- 21:03Speaker 2: Tonight's in it scans even j Loo got in on
- 21:11Speaker 2: the Tonight and you realized, Brook, this took a long
- 21:18Speaker 2: time for us to find all of these and then
- 21:20Speaker 2: put them out.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Tonight, party rock Anthem. I mean I could play probably
- 21:27Speaker 1: forty years one week.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a party decade.
- 21:35Speaker 1: That's so fun. Why is it so fun to uncover that?
- 21:38Speaker 1: I know?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Thank you, Brook, We appreciate you listening and reaching out out.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I don't think they sing tonight no, but I need
- 21:48Speaker 2: to listen carefully.
- 21:49Speaker 8: In that call on air with Ryan Seacrest, Ryan Seacrest
- 21:57Speaker 8: says an Tanya Jordan has stepped into the main studio
- 22:01Speaker 8: from the phone.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Room just quick morning.
- 22:04Speaker 2: The background on Jordan moved Burbank Lancaster back to Burbank
- 22:10Speaker 2: Burrows High studied Communications and here she is a kids FM.
- 22:15Speaker 2: It feels like the right move, right after all that studying,
- 22:18Speaker 2: feels like the right move. So I don't know what
- 22:21Speaker 2: it is that excites ciciney Tani and I so much
- 22:24Speaker 2: about you going out to clubs and meeting strangers, but
- 22:27Speaker 2: we're into it.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:28Speaker 2: So you went to No Vacancy. You saw a guy.
- 22:31Speaker 2: He was cute in that light, and you walked up
- 22:34Speaker 2: and you got his number, and you guys traded whatever,
- 22:36Speaker 2: and then you went out. And then I appreciate your honesty.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Then you realized that what you saw in the club
- 22:43Speaker 2: was not what you saw in the wild in real life.
- 22:46Speaker 8: Call that.
- 22:49Speaker 1: So real, guys.
- 22:51Speaker 2: It's not only beer goggles, it's dim lighting club like
- 22:55Speaker 2: Casa Vega lighting club. Lighting, don't let it full, but
- 23:00Speaker 2: it did. But what I was impressed with, Jordan was
- 23:03Speaker 2: that you noticed this, you reacted internally, but you still
- 23:08Speaker 2: went out and hung out, and you were a nice,
- 23:11Speaker 2: generous person.
- 23:12Speaker 1: You didn't just sort of like blow him off. Right.
- 23:15Speaker 13: Yeah, he was a nice guy. He was a nice guy,
- 23:17Speaker 13: but not so cute, not so cute.
- 23:20Speaker 3: So still not so cute. Did you go on the
- 23:22Speaker 3: second date.
- 23:23Speaker 13: Not the second date, but the first date? It was
- 23:25Speaker 13: still great. Yeah, there was like a little bit of
- 23:29Speaker 13: a twist This past weekend uh, just a little bit
- 23:32Speaker 13: of a shocker. Now I'm confused. I might need some
- 23:36Speaker 13: help figuring out what the next step is if I should.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'm here to have we are what's the twist, the shaker,
- 23:42Speaker 2: the curve at your service?
- 23:44Speaker 13: Yeah, I well, I went to Know Vacancy again with
- 23:46Speaker 13: my friend. I don't know what it is about that club,
- 23:49Speaker 13: I love it, but yeah, we went out again. My
- 23:52Speaker 13: friend and I went our separate ways for a little bit,
- 23:54Speaker 13: and then he came back to me and said, oh,
- 23:57Speaker 13: I think I saw the guy you went on a
- 23:58Speaker 13: date with, but he was with another girl, and we
- 24:02Speaker 13: had already gone on our first date. And we've been
- 24:06Speaker 13: talking here and there, just checking in on each other,
- 24:09Speaker 13: very nice, very civil.
- 24:10Speaker 1: We were.
- 24:11Speaker 13: I was gonna prepare to ask him if he wanted
- 24:14Speaker 13: to hang out again, because even though he wasn't the
- 24:17Speaker 13: cutest guy, I really think he was a gentleman and
- 24:21Speaker 13: he treated me right. So I was like, you know,
- 24:23Speaker 13: I can get past the little the looks and you know,
- 24:27Speaker 13: give him another shot. But then I saw that and
- 24:30Speaker 13: I wasn't really hurt by it, but I'm just like,
- 24:34Speaker 13: I don't know, I don't know what the thoughts are like.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Hold on. The thoughts are easy on this.
- 24:41Speaker 2: You don't think he's hot or cute, and he's seeing
- 24:43Speaker 2: other people in right now, and so I don't think
- 24:47Speaker 2: you need to be so kind and generous.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Just move on.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Such a weird thing.
- 24:51Speaker 13: And I'm such a nice person and I'm always down
- 24:53Speaker 13: to get feels like chances.
- 24:55Speaker 3: What was he doing with this girl?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Were they like kissing or no?
- 24:59Speaker 13: No, I wouldn't say they're really close and they were
- 25:02Speaker 13: by the bar.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Okay, But I think just to get there. He's a nice,
- 25:08Speaker 2: gentleman guy. He should be a wing guy for you,
- 25:12Speaker 2: like he doesn't.
- 25:13Speaker 1: He's a nice guy.
- 25:14Speaker 2: You got to like shoot him in a different category
- 25:15Speaker 2: and to be a wing guy. Yes, you don't know
- 25:18Speaker 2: what you're talking about.
- 25:19Speaker 5: What do you want a wing guy? You want a
- 25:21Speaker 5: wing woman, not a wing guy.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Guy's gonna repel other men?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Well she can't. She got to put him into a
- 25:27Speaker 2: different category. I think that city. Move on, yeah, move on.
- 25:31Speaker 2: All these signs are not right. You don't think he
- 25:33Speaker 2: is that pretty, and you've now found out that he's
- 25:38Speaker 2: seeing a bunch of other people or at least one.
- 25:40Speaker 2: This is time to move on.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Now.
- 25:42Speaker 2: When you go back to no vacancy. You might see
- 25:44Speaker 2: him again and again and again. So how will you
- 25:47Speaker 2: handle that?
- 25:48Speaker 7: You know?
- 25:49Speaker 13: That's when I got to put all my big girl's
- 25:50Speaker 13: shoes and kind of just like show him that he
- 25:53Speaker 13: missed out.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Yeah, hi, oh my gosh. I love it when we
- 26:00Speaker 1: in fact the big girl's shoes. That's fun.
- 26:03Speaker 2: We haven't put big girls shoes on a long time
- 26:05Speaker 2: on this show. All right, Well, I think I don't
- 26:09Speaker 2: feel so bad about all of this, but I do like,
- 26:11Speaker 2: to me the key takeaway was you took charge, you
- 26:14Speaker 2: went up to him, you gave him the number.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It's not perfect. Fine, we move on. Next. What night
- 26:20Speaker 1: was it a Friday? Saturday? Tuesday?
- 26:23Speaker 3: The date was a Saturday?
- 26:24Speaker 1: The night out was what night? Is no vacancy? Hot?
- 26:27Speaker 3: Oh, Fridays for sure?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Friday, next Friday. It's a new look. It's big girls
- 26:31Speaker 2: shoes and a whole new vibe. All right, ready, thank
- 26:35Speaker 2: you very much for sharing your personal life with us.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I'm excited. I mean, you know, we love this city.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I'm excited that the Olympics are coming to LA. They're
- 26:45Speaker 2: gonna be I'm sure gonna be super cool, super southern California,
- 26:49Speaker 2: except for stuff happening in Oklahoma.
- 26:51Speaker 1: But right mark, what's happening? It's true in other state.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It's two events, softball and canoe swalom are in Oklahoma
- 26:59Speaker 1: for some reason. All right, I think because of the geography.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, So the twenty twenty eight games are
- 27:07Speaker 2: coming here.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Have you been to We have been to, Yes, a
- 27:11Speaker 1: couple of them, haven't we.
- 27:12Speaker 3: I've been your Rio and London.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 2: We broadcast the show from Real and London, which was
- 27:18Speaker 2: super cool. But if you want to think about tickets,
- 27:22Speaker 2: you should start thinking now, which is early.
- 27:23Speaker 1: But what do we know?
- 27:24Speaker 4: Well, start thinking as in today because the they're not
- 27:28Speaker 4: on sell yet. But you're basically going to register yourself
- 27:31Speaker 4: to buy the tickets. If a ticket draw registration, you
- 27:34Speaker 4: can go to LA twenty eight dot org. The website's
- 27:37Speaker 4: super easy, la twenty eight dot org. You sign up
- 27:40Speaker 4: there with your name, your email, your zip code okay,
- 27:42Speaker 4: and then.
- 27:43Speaker 3: You're going to be entered in some lottery style drawing.
- 27:46Speaker 4: If you're selected, they're going to email you your time
- 27:49Speaker 4: slot and then that you're they're going to email you
- 27:51Speaker 4: your time slot and that's going to be your time
- 27:54Speaker 4: to buy tickets. When that said time is it's going
- 27:57Speaker 4: to be later in twenty twenty six.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Okay, I like it.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I really get excited about, you know, the stories of
- 28:04Speaker 2: the athletes, worry about the stories, and then the competition.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I get so invested you get to know them.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I start following everybody on Instagram and I'm just
- 28:11Speaker 4: like obsessed with everybody when it's all happening. And what's
- 28:14Speaker 4: really cool about LA twenty eight is that they're making
- 28:17Speaker 4: the Olympics way more affordable than something like the FIFA
- 28:22Speaker 4: World Cup, for example, where those tickets are like thousands
- 28:24Speaker 4: of dollars. I was reading that they're planning at least
- 28:28Speaker 4: one million tickets starting at just twenty eight dollars, and
- 28:32Speaker 4: then about a third of all tickets are going to
- 28:34Speaker 4: be under one hundred dollars. So I think it's very
- 28:37Speaker 4: affordable and something that you could actually consider doing with
- 28:39Speaker 4: your whole, whole, entire family, because you're you're right, this
- 28:42Speaker 4: is like once in a lifetime situation. Like my parents
- 28:45Speaker 4: still talk about how they went to the nineteen eighty
- 28:47Speaker 4: four Olympics when it was here in Los Angeles, Like.
- 28:49Speaker 1: They still wow, they still talk about it.
- 28:51Speaker 4: They still have their matching tracksuits that they bought that year,
- 28:54Speaker 4: Like it's like, you know, it's one of those things
- 28:56Speaker 4: that you're always going to remember.
- 28:58Speaker 2: So the sport of the event you'd like to see
- 29:00Speaker 2: most would be what siciny gymnastics hands down, any canastic? Yeah,
- 29:06Speaker 2: I'm into that one, also really fun. Could get so
- 29:12Speaker 2: excited about the lack of splash when they get the water.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It's so pretty.
- 29:16Speaker 2: They're no splashing when they get the water, all right,
- 29:18Speaker 2: so check all that out the Olympics. Coming excited about that.
- 29:21Speaker 2: You will see this year that we have the best
- 29:24Speaker 2: tickets to everybody you want to see if we play them,
- 29:28Speaker 2: we have your tickets, and not just a few, a
- 29:30Speaker 2: lot in the morning show. Not to be selfish, but
- 29:33Speaker 2: we stacked a lot.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Up in our show.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Some of the other people you know throughout the day
- 29:39Speaker 2: have some tickets, but we have so many and I
- 29:41Speaker 2: love that. Yeah, this is life is about experiences, and
- 29:45Speaker 2: life with free experiences is better than just an experience
- 29:49Speaker 2: pro bono.
- 29:49Speaker 1: It's free.
- 29:50Speaker 2: So we got tickets for Ed Sheeran, which I am
- 29:54Speaker 2: all for seeing him in so far.
- 29:55Speaker 1: You know in that big stadium is it Kalel? Is
- 29:59Speaker 1: that your name?
- 30:00Speaker 12: Yes?
- 30:00Speaker 2: Hello, hellout, good morning in La, you're contested number one,
- 30:05Speaker 2: and Haley, Hi, Haley in Riverside, you're contested number two.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Good morning, good morning.
- 30:11Speaker 2: So we are going to play the match game for
- 30:14Speaker 2: some tickets to go see Ed Sheeran in concerts.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Here's the way it works.
- 30:19Speaker 2: I'll give you a phrase, each individually with a blank
- 30:22Speaker 2: in it. Whoever gets the most matches with our panel
- 30:25Speaker 2: will actually win the tickets. All right, we'll start with
- 30:27Speaker 2: you hellol okay, oh perfect, all right, So yours is.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Oil blank, oil blank. So think about what might oil blank?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Hang tight, Haley, Hella, what is the most obvious word
- 30:42Speaker 2: that might go with oil? That's what you want to
- 30:45Speaker 2: think about. That's what the panel's thinking about. And okay,
- 30:50Speaker 2: you got it. Okay, tell me what it.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Is, oil spill, spill.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that's an obvious one, oil spill. Let's see
- 30:58Speaker 2: if you match with the panel, systanet the oil stain tiny.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Oil oil change.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I said oil change to fia spill, oil bottle.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Oil bottle. All right, so sorry, let's go to Haley.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Now, Haley, yours is flash blank, flash blank. The panel's
- 31:23Speaker 2: writing down their answers flash blank.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Okay, what'd you say?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Flash what flashlight, flashlight, good one listening.
- 31:34Speaker 1: You got this, I said, mob.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Flash mob, Tanya, I said, flash dance.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Okay, Ruby, it's on you, Flashlight, I.
- 31:45Speaker 11: Said, flashlight, Sophia, flash mob.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Flash mobs are so six seven out Okay.
- 31:58Speaker 2: So call Ale did win that one. It was a
- 32:02Speaker 2: good try. Thank you so much for listening. And Haley,
- 32:06Speaker 2: you are going to see Ed sheeron at Sofi Stadium.
- 32:12Speaker 2: All right, We love you both. There's so many people
- 32:16Speaker 2: in the background. I don't know who's celebrating. It sounds exciting.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Thank you, callout for listening to us.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you. Have a good one.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Everybody all right here, everybody on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Well, there's a squabble right now on kiss FM. Good morning.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Everybody is here, and everybody has always something going on
- 32:45Speaker 2: that we learned throughout the course of the show. And
- 32:47Speaker 2: all I know is that Cisiny has a bone to
- 32:50Speaker 2: pick with Ej. I guess apparently Tanya does the same thing.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I'm naive.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I'm naive to understanding what we're talking about here, So
- 32:58Speaker 2: let me bring in ej the DJ on GUZ.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Let's kiss I f am Ejy. He's my favorite guy.
- 33:07Speaker 1: On the air that says the station.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I got Brenda Mars kiss, I love it forever. I
- 33:19Speaker 2: smile every time. All right, EJ, I got to jump
- 33:22Speaker 2: into it. You're gonna learn with me what's going on? Sistney,
- 33:25Speaker 2: what's the problem with EJ.
- 33:26Speaker 3: There's no problem with EJ.
- 33:27Speaker 4: I just wanted to like point it out and see
- 33:29Speaker 4: like where everyone stands on this. So last week EJ, Ronnie, myself,
- 33:35Speaker 4: Sabrina from promotions, we all had like a little meeting
- 33:38Speaker 4: on Zoom and so we all had our cameras on
- 33:41Speaker 4: and we were talking about videos that we have to
- 33:43Speaker 4: make for the station or something like that.
- 33:45Speaker 7: So so Ej the entire twenty five minute meeting had
- 33:54Speaker 7: his camera on, but it was in his he was
- 33:57Speaker 7: in his kitchen and he had it on the counter
- 34:00Speaker 7: and it was just facing the ceiling the whole time,
- 34:04Speaker 7: like the entire meeting.
- 34:05Speaker 4: And so afterwards, as we're wrapping up, then he comes
- 34:09Speaker 4: back in frame and he looks at all of us
- 34:10Speaker 4: and he goes, all right, guys, well buy And I
- 34:11Speaker 4: was like, well, what.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Was the point of that?
- 34:14Speaker 5: Just have your cam.
- 34:15Speaker 4: I'd rather stare like a still photo of you than
- 34:17Speaker 4: you're ceiling the whole time.
- 34:19Speaker 2: How was his ceiling? I think, sure, he's a ceiling
- 34:21Speaker 2: to be very very nice, maybe like a.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Texture.
- 34:25Speaker 4: It was a mixture of like seeing a light fixture
- 34:28Speaker 4: and then also the under cabinet.
- 34:30Speaker 1: From the counter.
- 34:32Speaker 2: So this is when you get on a zoom call
- 34:34Speaker 2: and someone intentionally doesn't show themselves why a jing.
- 34:40Speaker 6: Me So I was just I was in the kitchen
- 34:42Speaker 6: cooking and I was like, oh, I got to jump
- 34:44Speaker 6: on this meeting. I totally forgot that I was even
- 34:46Speaker 6: supposed to be on the meeting. So I was cooking,
- 34:49Speaker 6: and I was also running back and forth, and I
- 34:51Speaker 6: was jumping in with the ideas. You guys haven't seen
- 34:54Speaker 6: me a million times. I feel like, there's no needs
- 34:56Speaker 6: to show my face on this call.
- 34:58Speaker 2: But are you supposed to be cooking while doing a
- 35:00Speaker 2: work calls?
- 35:05Speaker 6: Ryan times limited, I gotta, you know, squeeze every bit
- 35:08Speaker 6: of time out of you know what I'm saying, so
- 35:11Speaker 6: anybody understands it's you.
- 35:13Speaker 2: No, I get it because I start the zoom call
- 35:15Speaker 2: and then I leave, and then somebody inevitably saysney Town.
- 35:18Speaker 1: He's like, Ryan, if you're still there? And I hear
- 35:20Speaker 1: it from across the room, and I run in and
- 35:22Speaker 1: I spread an eye on mute Hi. I'm like, yeah,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I'm still here.
- 35:29Speaker 2: He has hours that are late, so it's hard for
- 35:31Speaker 2: him to get away.
- 35:32Speaker 3: It's fine, and I I'd actually appreciated.
- 35:35Speaker 4: I would rather have that situation than someone like Tanya,
- 35:39Speaker 4: where she walks around her house the whole meeting.
- 35:42Speaker 11: We're going everywhere with her cowers moving better.
- 35:46Speaker 9: It's nice to see that you can see my face.
- 35:48Speaker 9: I'm paying attention. I'm locked in, I'm walking about, but
- 35:53Speaker 9: at least I'm not like muting my TV screen and
- 35:57Speaker 9: no doing whatever, not paying attention.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Actually, we would prefer you sit somewhere stationary and focus
- 36:04Speaker 2: on the meeting versus doing laps and steps around you.
- 36:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 36:10Speaker 4: I kind of like I get distracted easily. So then
- 36:12Speaker 4: now I'm just staring at like the bobbing of Tongue's
- 36:14Speaker 4: head the whole meeting, and I'm not even listening to
- 36:16Speaker 4: the meeting.
- 36:18Speaker 6: So were you staring at the underneath of the cabins
- 36:21Speaker 6: up the horn that fan attention?
- 36:24Speaker 2: Yesj we got to run, but like, no one can
- 36:29Speaker 2: ever be upset with you or dislike you. You have
- 36:31Speaker 2: the nicest, kindest vibe about yourself that makes people just
- 36:35Speaker 2: want to hug you. I want you to know that
- 36:37Speaker 2: when I listen to you, I just want to hug you.
- 36:39Speaker 6: So do you know what next time I see you,
- 36:41Speaker 6: I'm gonna give you one big old bear hug.
- 36:43Speaker 1: How about that? I like it. I like it. I'm
- 36:45Speaker 1: into it.
- 36:47Speaker 2: J Thanks for you know, focusing on this call right
- 36:50Speaker 2: now and not doing something else.
- 36:51Speaker 1: We appreciate it. Nice Later.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Kiss You're gonna hear a trending report now from telling
- 37:01Speaker 2: you where I think you're gonna put too much emphasis
- 37:05Speaker 2: on the fact that when you're dating somebody, they meet
- 37:07Speaker 2: your parents fast.
- 37:08Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that much, but go ahead.
- 37:11Speaker 9: Not necessarily, but actor Glenn Powell from Chad Powers, Top
- 37:15Speaker 9: Gun Maverick anybody but you, Hollywood heart Throb. He has
- 37:19Speaker 9: been spotted out a lot since late twenty twenty five
- 37:22Speaker 9: with Landman actress Michelle Randolph, and it looks like she
- 37:27Speaker 9: attended the Golden Globes with Okay, so he attended the
- 37:30Speaker 9: Golden Globes with his parents, Sidney and Glenn Powell Senior,
- 37:34Speaker 9: but then the three of them met up with Michelle
- 37:36Speaker 9: Randolph for what I'm assuming is the after parties because
- 37:39Speaker 9: they were all four of them were spotted getting into
- 37:40Speaker 9: a car together after the ceremony. So it got me thinking,
- 37:45Speaker 9: do we think Michelle obviously she already knew his parents,
- 37:48Speaker 9: so do we think it's more serious than it is
- 37:50Speaker 9: or is it just part of kind of the vetting process,
- 37:53Speaker 9: like coming out with my parents and let's see if
- 37:56Speaker 9: you guys vibe.
- 37:57Speaker 2: I mean, it's the Golden Globes. You're gonna want your
- 37:59Speaker 2: parents around. I don't want your girlfriend around. I think
- 38:01Speaker 2: that's not You don't have to read into it too much.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I will tell you this, mom, Yes we do.
- 38:08Speaker 4: We don't know if that was maybe that was their
- 38:09Speaker 4: first time meeting and it was just like my parents
- 38:11Speaker 4: are everyone, get in the car.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what I hear that they
- 38:15Speaker 1: are hanging. They're hanging.
- 38:16Speaker 5: Oh excuse me, Oh yeah, yeah.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Billy, Bob Thornton, this guy, he didn't tell me. He
- 38:24Speaker 2: didn't tell me, So listen, my mom, Connie, she'll meet
- 38:27Speaker 2: people sometimes second time I've gone out with them. Just
- 38:31Speaker 2: the calendar works out that way. Yes, you know, we're
- 38:33Speaker 2: going to do something and I'm like, oh my mom,
- 38:34Speaker 2: bring my my new friend. And she doesn't mind it
- 38:38Speaker 2: at all. She actually says things like, oh, let me
- 38:41Speaker 2: tell you anything you want to know about my boy.
- 38:43Speaker 1: She'll say that right out of the gate.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't mind it, but I don't put big
- 38:48Speaker 2: emphasis on the fact that someone I go out with
- 38:51Speaker 2: meets my mom fast.
- 38:52Speaker 1: It's just I like being around my mom.
- 38:55Speaker 2: I want to be around the date, and it works
- 38:57Speaker 2: out and it's kind of fun, like when my mom
- 38:59Speaker 2: has the Cosmopolitan cocktails.
- 39:01Speaker 1: She's fun, she's good times.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Good times.
- 39:03Speaker 1: So I don't I wouldn't read into it too much,
- 39:06Speaker 1: but I do think they're dating. Well, back room, is.
- 39:09Speaker 2: This Natanya that is gonna wrap it up for us today.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I like a midweek because now we're getting into the
- 39:15Speaker 2: excitement of a Thursday and Friday show. Paying your bills.
- 39:20Speaker 2: You've heard it before. Don't let it be white noise.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Get in on this action, because it is amazing when
- 39:28Speaker 2: you hear your name and you just get money to
- 39:30Speaker 2: pay a bill.
- 39:31Speaker 1: It's very easy.
- 39:33Speaker 2: All you gotta do is give me your name at
- 39:34Speaker 2: chisfm dot com keyword bills and then just listen ten
- 39:36Speaker 2: minutes after every hour we do it, and I really
- 39:40Speaker 2: push for us to do this every year because I
- 39:43Speaker 2: think it's great.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Dolls.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Yes, hopefully you get in on that. Ryan's rose is tomorrow.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Mysterious phone numbers to their home from a blocked number,
