  Speaker 1: it's time right now for today's word. He restores your soul.

  Speaker 1: Psalms twenty three and three says just that he restores

  Speaker 1: my soul. You know, after King David fell into an
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: adulterous affair, his soul felt broken and he was wounded. Y'all,

  Speaker 1: as a person who loves and serves God, when you
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: fall into sin, when I fall into sin, when we
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: know better, but we do it anyway, it's easy to
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: live wounded. It's easy to feel convicted and guilty and
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: think we've gone too far from God and that we
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: made too many mistakes. And the reality is we can
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: also be wounded from someone that we love, something someone
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: else did or said to us. Because y'all know, the
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: people that we love and we care about can hurt
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: us to our core. And even people that are reckless
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: with their words and their actions can hurt and wound us.

  Speaker 1: That boss on the job, that coworker, that church member,
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: that leader. All. But here's the good news. God can
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: and he will restore your soul. He brings healing from
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: the hurts and the pains of the past. What wasn't fair,
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: the loss, the heartache. He brings healing from anxiety and depression.

  Speaker 1: He even brings healing from self inflicted wounds, mistakes you've made,

  Speaker 1: to do is hurt me, Oh my Lord. If you

  Speaker 1: feel broken, if you feel wounded, God is working even

  Speaker 1: now to restore your soul. But you got to do

  Speaker 1: your part. There's a part you got to play in this.

  Speaker 1: You gotta get honest with yourself and release the guilt,

  Speaker 1: the worry, the anger, or the jealousy, and then the

  Speaker 1: healing will come. The Word of God says, if you

  Speaker 1: confess your sins, he is faithful and just to forgive

  Speaker 1: you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. But then you've

  Speaker 1: got to forgive yourself. You've got to let it go

  Speaker 1: and move on. The forces that have held you back
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: will be broken, off your emotions, off your attitude, your thoughts,

  Speaker 1: Joy will come, Peace will come. God will do a

  Speaker 1: new thing in your life. He will not only restore
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: your soul, but he will bring you to new levels

  Speaker 1: of fulfillment, new levels of abundance and victory come own, Jesus,

  Speaker 1: Father God, Thank you. When our souls feel broken and wounded,

  Speaker 1: you are the good shepherd who restores us. Thank you

  Speaker 1: that if we fall into sin, or if someone else

  Speaker 1: has wounded us, you come and you rescue us. God,

  Speaker 1: we believe that you are working even now to fall

  Speaker 1: to restore our souls. In Jesus' name, that's your word
