- 0:00We're going to be talking about the big picture, and it's part
- 0:04of our Can You Handle the Truth series, where we really dig deep
- 0:08on some of the concepts in the Arantia book.
- 0:11And today we're going to look at AER 12 on the universes of
- 0:14universes. That's what we've got in store
- 0:17for this edition of the Rancho Radio podcast.
- 0:20It is partly brought to you by Low Cost Air.
- 0:22I highly encourage listeners of this podcast that if you are
- 0:26traveling, you're going by air, or if you need a hotel, you can
- 0:30get low prices with a real human being by calling 800-654-0759.
- 0:37That number again is 800-654-0759, Low cost air.
- 0:43Next time you fly, want to save money, Get a hotel, Save money
- 0:47800-654-0759. For you astrophysicists, junior
- 1:26astronomers, and curious star students, I bring you the big
- 1:30picture, sponsored by a perfector of wisdom.
- 1:33And he was given authority to do so by the ancients of days.
- 1:37And that in itself, if you understand the level of
- 1:39personalities we're talking about, is a very big deal.
- 1:44Also, the Urantia book online illustrated version comes with a
- 1:47really nice set of imagery you can check out if you go to the
- 1:52foundation, which is urantia.org and look for the your or, or
- 1:57even better, go to truthbook.com and check out their illustrated
- 2:01version of the Urantia book. I haven't recommended that in a
- 2:04long, long time, but it's a it's a great resource@truthbook.com.
- 2:08So let's read from paper 12 on the immensity of of the
- 2:13far-flung creation of the Universal Father.
- 2:17They say that it is utterly beyond the grasp of finite
- 2:20imagination. They write.
- 2:22The enormousness of the master universe staggers the concept of
- 2:26even my own order of being. But the mortal mind can be
- 2:30taught much about the plan and arrangement of the universes.
- 2:34You can know something of their physical organization and
- 2:38marvelous administration. You may learn much about the
- 2:42various groups of intelligent beings who inhabit the seven
- 2:45super universes of time and the central universe of Eternity.
- 2:52They write to created beings. The Master universe might appear
- 2:56to be almost infinite, but it is far from finished.
- 3:00There are still physical limits to the material creation, and
- 3:05the experiential revelation of the eternal purpose is still in
- 3:09progress, they write. The universe of universes is not
- 3:14an infinite plane, a boundless cube, nor a limitless circle.
- 3:19It certainly has dimensions. The laws of physical
- 3:23organization and administration prove conclusively that the
- 3:27whole vast aggregation of force, energy, and matter power
- 3:32functions ultimately as an organized and coordinated whole.
- 3:37The final proof of both a circular and delimited universe
- 3:42is afforded by the to us well known fact that all forms of
- 3:47basic energy ever swing around the curved path of the space
- 3:51levels of the mastery Universe in obedience to the incessant
- 3:56and absolute pull of Paradise gravity.
- 4:01Proceeding outward from paradise through the horizontal extension
- 4:05of pervaded space, the Master Universe is existent in six
- 4:11concentric ellipses, the space levels encircling the central
- 4:16aisle. In the not far distant future,
- 4:20new telescopes will reveal to the wandering gaze of Urantian
- 4:25astronomers no less than 375,000,000 new galaxies in the
- 4:31remote stretches of outer space. At the same time, these more
- 4:35powerful telescopes will disclose that many island
- 4:39universes formerly believed to be in outer space regions are
- 4:43really a part of our galactic system of Orvington.
- 4:48Orvington, by the way, is the name of our super universe. the
- 4:51Super universes, including our own, are still growing.
- 4:57From Paper 12, Section 3. All forms of force, energy,
- 5:02material, mindel or spiritual are alike subject to those
- 5:08grasps, those universal presences, which we call
- 5:12gravity. Personality is also responsive
- 5:16to gravity, to the Father's exclusive circuit.
- 5:21Now taking a a note, a side note, we're being told here
- 5:24there are three forms of energy that are measurable.
- 5:28And there is a section in these papers, which I won't go into
- 5:31too deeply now, that talks about the research that they
- 5:35conducted, research that shows that most of the activity going
- 5:39on in the present age is limited to just the seven universes of
- 5:44which we are apart. And very little activity is
- 5:47happening in the four outer regions outside the present
- 5:51grand universe. So if you can follow me, what
- 5:55that means is our present universe is both young and
- 5:59active. It is growing outward with new
- 6:02life, evolving on new worlds. God's present grand universe is
- 6:07still unfolding. This section also delves into
- 6:11the concepts of time and space and how they interact with
- 6:16creation. So for example, paper 12 Section
- 6:194 reads space is from the human viewpoint, nothing negative.
- 6:26It exists only as related to something positive and non
- 6:29spatial. Space is however real.
- 6:33It contains and conditions motion.
- 6:36Space even moves like space-time is a bestowal of paradise, but
- 6:45not in the same sense, only indirectly.
- 6:48Time comes by virtue of motion, and because mind is inherently
- 6:54aware of sequentiality. Man's mind is less time bound
- 7:00than space bound because of the inherent nature of mind.
- 7:05Even during the days of the earth, life, and the flesh,
- 7:08though, man's mind is rigidly space bound.
- 7:11The creative human imagination is comparatively time free, but
- 7:17time itself is not genetically a quality of mind.
- 7:21I like that paragraph, especially when it talks about
- 7:25that we're space bound but not time bound.
- 7:27We can think of the past, we can think of the present, We can
- 7:30project the future. We remember things in a
- 7:33sequential order. Think about how great it is that
- 7:37you and I can sit in a living room or somewhere on the beach
- 7:43and have a mental picture of all of the great moments of our life
- 7:47that have spread apart so many years and decades.
- 7:50That's an amazing thing that we we just simply take for granted.
- 7:53But that's that's the mind at work.
- 7:58Let's close with the anecdote that I think you'll find
- 8:00encouraging. The narrator speaks of the
- 8:03present grand universe as being fully active.
- 8:08Paper 12 enforces the idea that the Father and the Trinity are
- 8:12fully engaged in its administration of the universe.
- 8:15We are part of that activity, Michael.
- 8:19Coming to our world is part of that activity.
- 8:22The angels doing the biddings and counseling us and helping us
- 8:26is part of that activity. But then the narrator projects
- 8:31the someday participation of what happens in the outer
- 8:35regions, regions which are today only in their infancy.
- 8:40Here's what the perfector of wisdom has to say about the
- 8:44future. He says that we know very little
- 8:48of the significance of these tremendous phenomena of outer
- 8:52space. A greater creation of the future
- 8:55is in process of formation. We can observe its immensity, we
- 9:00can discern its extent and sense its majestic dimensions, but
- 9:06otherwise we know little more about these realms than do the
- 9:11astronomers of Urantia. As far as we know, no material
- 9:16being on the order of humans, no angels or other spirit creatures
- 9:21exist in this outer ring of nebula, Suns and planets.
- 9:26This distant domain is beyond the jurisdiction and the
- 9:30administration of the Super universe governments.
- 9:34They say that it is believed that a new type of creation is
- 9:38in process, an order of universes destined to become the
- 9:42scene of the future activities of the assembling core of the
- 9:47finality. Those are mortal ascenders.
- 9:50That's you and me. And then he writes.
- 9:53And if our conjectures are correct, then the Endless future
- 9:57may hold for all of you the same enthralling spectacles that the
- 10:02endless past has held for your seniors and predecessors.
- 10:08It's a concept that spurs the imagination and should provide
- 10:12hope to those who speculate as to what it all means.
- 10:16And I felt compelled to share it with you as a way of
- 10:18illustrating, yet again, why the Urantia book is not only unique,
- 10:23but original. You can sense the ring of truth
- 10:26that comes from the author spoken as if these events are
- 10:30speculations and wholly real and ongoing all around us.
- 10:35But we also, hearing about this, understand that most people are
- 10:39in the dark about all of it. How transformative would it be
- 10:44if more people knew the truth of these things?
- 10:50Until we meet again, I appreciate you stopping by and
- 10:54checking out this latest episode of the Rancho Radio Podcast.
