- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Dog's Podcast with your hosts, Lake Renaker, Justin Charles, and Josh All.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, what's up, Browns fans?
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to another episode of The Dog's podcast, Josh, all your hosts today.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: Happy Monday.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Hope everybody had a great holiday weekend.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Happy the latest Easter to everybody out there.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I hope you enjoyed.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with your family and the weather cooperated hopefully for you wherever you were.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: I know Saturday, we had a couple different Easter to go to this weekend.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: So Saturday was hot, man.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: It was like 85, we're out there hunting eggs and just sweating.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a beautiful day.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trying to say that in any sort of bad way.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was a beautiful day, beautiful weather, love being out there.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: Turn right around on Sunday.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: That was a very quick Easter egg hunt yesterday because it was cold.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was the wind was, it was breezy and just frigid.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: And needless to say, even the kids were like, let's just get this done and get back inside.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how that went this weekend.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I hope everybody else out there is having a great time as well.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: So today what I want to do
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've been talking about this for like the last couple weeks and I've kind of been just slowly compiling my notes and sort of just waiting here and so April rolled around so we could get a little bit closer to the draft which by the way is 17 days from now.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: So just what we can have for two or two and a half weeks or so and that's it we're going to be there.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: We will be drafting and finally finding out which players are coming to Cleveland.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: out of the 20, 26 draft class.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: And today,
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're finally going to talk about who the surprise players could be that Andrew Barry in the Browns run off his could select on April 23.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we've been talking a ton about offensive tackles and wide receivers primarily those two positions being so desperate for the Browns needing players in those spots, wide receiver room is arguably the worst in the NFL.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: The offensive line has been added to and addressed already in free agency.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously there are still a couple spots, maybe at least one, maybe two that starting spots that is, you know, not really been addressed yet.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of people want the Browns to take a tackle.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's six.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people like myself want to go wider.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: Seabird six.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: But what if the Browns don't do either of those things?
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason that this episode I was planning this out and talking about it had a time and wanting to do this is because what happened last year in the draft, you know, we heard leading up the like two weeks.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: So about this timeframe leading up into the draft.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was everything was about Travis Hunter.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Andrew Barry, he's the Otani of football.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's a unicorn, generational once in a lifetime type of player.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: He can play cornerback.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you see for both at a high level?
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he was leaking out how the Brown's plan to utilize Travis on there.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: We would primarily use the Mesoad receiver and rotate him in a corner back and just really making it seem like a foregone conclusion that the Browns were going to take Travis on there too.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys remember all of that.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: So that obviously didn't end up happening.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: We get to pick two, Browns trade back to five with the Jaguars, they come up and take Mr. Otani of football, unicorn, once in a lifetime Travis Hunter.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns go back to five and we're sitting there on our annual live stream, which we'll be live again this year.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: April 23rd, make sure you guys tune in on YouTube, jump in the chat with us for our first round coverage.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: We're sitting there at five and we're going, get asked in Jente.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: But our offense is terrible.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we were already thinking Travis Hunter or, you know, the entire pre-draft process that was, well, could we get Cam Ward, could we get shit or Sanders?
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: We need a quarterback.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, we need a wider SEVER.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: We could get Travis Hunter.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: We go back to five.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have a running back.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: We could get Ashton Jenty.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have a wider SEVER.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we go technique milling.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's get one of these offensive players.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: These offensive weapons.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: And see what we can do here in 2020.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: Five.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Brown's walk up there and select Mason Graham defensive tackle out of Michigan and it was not so much that we don't like Mason Graham or didn't like the prospect, but five overall, we are offences is in pieces.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's in shambles.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing there.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: And Andrew Barry takes a defensive tackle.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: and it just really caught most of us.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm assuming most of you as well, pretty off guard.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then we go, okay, fine.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: We still got pick 33, we can be looking at.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they take, you know, should or Sanders there.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we trade back up into the back end of the first and take a quarter back or a wider S. Maybe we go Luther Burton.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, let's go get trivia on Henderson or Quint Shawn Juddkins.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about all these offensive players because we don't have any.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: We need them.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: We get to 33, first pick a day two, they take a line backer.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: And again, it said nothing against the prospect.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: I really like Carson Swesinger as a prospect.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't on my radar for the Browns, because I thought he was going to be a first round pick.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I just didn't, he wasn't on my radar.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: We desperately needed offensive players.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: So again, I say all that to say,
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: We could be shocked again this year, guys.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we will be necessarily at least at both picks.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was a very good possibility at one of those first two picks in the first round.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if the Browns decide to go defense.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's what we're gonna talk about here today.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: Who are some of the players that we should at least highlight on this show who could be in the discussion at six and 24 this year if the Browns do just die to come out and just surprise everybody and not go with an offensive lineman or wide receiver because again this is going to be a very high level surface level overview of these players so.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for a deep dive, prospect breakdown, that's not this show.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to go through a lot of names here, we're going to go surface level information about each guy so that when they're on the clock and whether the Browns pick them or not, whether some of these guys go at three or four or seven or eleven, whatever the case may be, you're watching the first round.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: You see these names pop up and now you're more familiar with who they are, where they're from, what they do,
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: And that kind of stuff, just because we at least touched on them here on the show.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll kick it over here to the first player before we dive into him.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure you guys go to join the dogs.com.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: Hang out with everybody in the discord over there, join the private discord, sync up with the Patreon.

- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: join the dogs.com is where you get to have access to all of those things.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so the first one here, the first player that I want to talk about, and I'm sort of going in order, and somewhat in mock draft database by the same time.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: Some of these players are just a little more interesting to talk about, I feel like, because I haven't, first of all, this first player.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen anybody talk about him to the Browns, but it's a position the
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Under Andrew Barry, I don't know how to say this.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of well, I guess, better than other positions that he's drafted him, him and this front office have put together.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: And they've drafted them a little more aggressively than maybe some of these other positions.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: And it's corner back.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna talk about Mansour Delane, the corner back out of LSU, okay, guys?
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: So this is the second highest graded player in the entire draft class.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: per NFL draft profile list, which is compiled every year by Lancer line.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: So if you go to NFL.com, look up the prospect list, and it is initially sorted by just the overall grades in the entire class.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: Man's sort of lane number two on that list.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot, 187 pounds.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Zirline Compton to Quinn-Yon Mitchell, the corner back for the equals.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: I was taken in the draft couple years ago to Toledo.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: So delaying.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is a dude he excels in press coverage.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the hit movement and the footwork to stick with wider severs in man coverage.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's a quick processor in zone.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's got good top end speed.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's not the greatest ballhocking corner, but he's at high level elite ceiling lock down corner.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: So probably not going to be a guy that comes down with a ton of interceptions.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think whoever lead the league in interceptions because
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: quarterbacks aren't throwing his way 20 25 he allowed just 14 receptions all season just 35 total targets coming his way zero touchdowns allowed seven pass breakups and two picks again past defending stats.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: not going to lead the nation, similar to think of Denzel Ward.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: Denzel Ward never really leads to the NFL in interceptions or anything like that because quarterbacks are not throwing the ball his way very often.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: So the opportunities to come down with interceptions and make plays like that are just fewer for these guys because they are locked down corners.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: Given the breakdown on Mansour Delane, I wouldn't be surprised if the Brown's actually have him pretty high on their draft board.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: Cornerback is always a position of need.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's a high-priority premium position.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's a position that gets paid highly.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: So these are the guys that you want to get in here on Ricky Deals, fifth year options, that sort of thing, and Mansour Delane by all intents and purposes is the best one.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: in this entire draft class and somebody that if the Browns walk up there at six or they trade back to like nine and they take man's sword Elaine it would be similar to what we experienced last year when they traded back until the defensive tackle instead of an offensive player.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so let's move into this next prospect.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: We know that Andrew Barry is obsessed with creating a monster defensive line.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: Even if he swings and misses a bunch of times over the last six years,
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: Similar to taking Mason Grim, who, by the way, was the consensus top defensive tech won the class last year, and your berry could do the same again here with one of these guys that I'm going to talk about the first one, David Bailey, the edge rusher out of Texas tech.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is the third highest graded player on the entire draft profile list by Lance Sarline.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: So it was, I forget who number one was.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was our goal Reese.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then it was,
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: Mansor Delane and then David Bailey.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot four 250 pounds.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: He scored a 98 on the NFL's production score number one overall in the entire draft class at his position.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: He ran a 4.5 at the combine.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: I know I I harp on the 40 times and all that crap, but at the bare minimum, it at least gives you a sense in an idea of whether a guy can get he up and go or if he's kind of a slower player, but I understand 40 time track speed football speed different things, but at least you get a sense that hey, this guy can move.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: when he needs to.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: In 2025, David Bailey 52 tackles and here is where Bailey stats can really open your eyes when you're looking at them.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: 19 and a half basically 20 tackles for loss in college football last season and 14 and a half sacks.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: He led the nation in sacks in 2025.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the explosive list of fire off the ball.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the bend and flow techniques to get around blockers from
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the most refined overall run defender, but his speed, quickness, obviously that leads to a lot of tackles for loss opportunities when plays get extended out wide.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, 20 TFLs.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: That is pretty insane.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was the third most in college football last year.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: The only real concerns that I've seen with David Bailey revolve around his length.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: his run defense, his arms measured in at 33 and three quarters.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's pretty close to 34 inches, and that's the mark that a lot of elite prospects have when they're coming out of college.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: David Bailey, though, he is a Bruce Feldman freakslister 405 pound bench press 550 pound squad and he hit 22.16 miles per hour on the radar gun.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: What might allow David Bailey to fall down in the top 10 slightly, questions around whether or not he can immediately be a three down player, while he continues to develop his strength and his leverage in the run game.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: But make no mistake, guys.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: David Bailey is a top 10 talent, best pure pass Russia in the class, and he's another guy that I would definitely expect to be pretty high on the Browns Draft Board here in a couple of weeks.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is partnered with Kalshi.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: Browns fans are you ready to put your money where your predictions are, with Kalshi, America's number one regulated prediction marky you can legally trade on events that actually matter to you.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: And the best part is you don't need to predict specific stat lines and compile a seven-like parlay just to win big.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: With Kalshi the objective is either yes or no.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: Will Shidorah Sanders be the Browns week one starting quarterback?
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Will Fernando Mendoza be the first overall pick in the draft?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: Will the Browns make their pick at six or will they trade out of that spot?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: And in other sports, will the calves win the NBA Finals?
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: You can put your money on these predictions and more with CalShe if you want to try it out.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: CalShe is giving $10 to anyone who signs up at calshe.com slash dogs and trades $100.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: Get away from disadvantageous sportsbooks and dive into real world outcomes with real time odds and real payouts.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: or just click the link in the description to get $10 when you trade 100 with Kalshi because why shouldn't you get paid for being right?
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll stick at the edge position.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about this guy.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, it's Ruben, Bane, Junior, the edge rusher out of Miami.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot, two, 263 pounds.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mentioned the arm length with David Bailey.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk about that real briefly.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: 34 inches, 34 inch arms.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: That is what a lot, not all, but a lot of the higher rated prospects come out with.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's where they measure up.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: 33 inches is kind of the lower end of the threshold, that's kind of the lowest spot before teams start moving guys down there, board strictly because of the length issue.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: So you got a leap prospects right around the 34, maybe even over 34, and 33 inches minimum, as long as you're at 33 or over teams feel comfortable with that.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: Why does it even matter?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Why does it even matter with the arm length?
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about a lot this year, because a lot of the offensive tackle prospects have these shorter arms.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: Shorter arms limit a pass rushers ability to keep blockers off their chest and convert speed to power against long arm tackles who are six foot five and taller, 320 pounds or more they got this long, these long arms, they can control you better if you don't have the long arms to counteract that.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: They say again, 33-year-longer is good, 34 is preferred, anything under 31 is deemed a death metric.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: I look this up.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it told me.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Anything under 31 inches, for a pass rush, is a death metric for an edge rush position player.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I say all that because Ruben Bane measured in at 30 and 7-8s at the combine, so basically right at 31 inches.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: He is on the low, low, low end of arm length for the edge rush position.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: I know some people out there, and again, I watched Ruben Bane, the dude's a dog, he is a strong player, he's a beast on the field, this stuff will matter when you get to the NFL, because you are not playing college football tackles anymore, you are playing entirely against NFL level tackles and all of the tackles in the NFL have longer arms, because that's what the teams want.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: So he will be at a disadvantage when it comes to that.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now, like I said, the short arms.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't hamper his production in college.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: He was a menace day one as a freshman, 44 tackle, seven and a half sacks, 12 TFLs.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: In his first season in college, he has soft tissue injury, caused him to miss four games, his sophomore season, but he still managed to get 23 tackles through in a half sacks, six TFLs.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then he bounced back in a big way, this past season, 25 with 54 tackles, nine and a half sacks and 16 tackles for loss.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: Again,
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: tough kid, very strong violent past rusher, not a guy that any tackle is going to enjoy seeing lined up across from them, but it's his lack of length that evaluators will have to make a decision on because he can be eliminated from the play.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: If these longer length your tackles are able to land that first strike on him.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: So that is a quick overview of Ruben
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we are going to stick with defenders because, again, if you go look at the top 10 projected players in this draft class, I think only three of them, four of them.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, so out of the top 10, four of them are offensive players.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: One of them's Fernando Mendoza, he's going number one over all he's off the board.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: So then you've got Jeremiah Love, who will likely be off the board when the Browns pick, you've got Francis Maui Noah, who will likely be off the board when the Browns pick, you've got Carnell Tate, who will hopefully be on the board when the Browns pick,
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: If you're talking about going best player available and you're staying at pick six, which I anticipate them doing everything they can to trade down, they always do.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, if you're at six and you want to take best player for value at that spot, it's all defensive players this year.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to stick on defense.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to talk about sunny styles, the linebacker out of Ohio State, 6 foot 5, 245 pounds production score, 91 that's number one among all linebackers in this class, combine athleticism score was a 92 that's also number one among all linebackers in this class.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: Styles is a guy who has definitely experienced that post-combine rise in his drafts doc.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was always
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe like in the first round conversation, but he has risen after the combine into that top 10 ranking.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: But it doesn't take away from the fact that this is a very legitimate player.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Lance Zirline comps him to Fred Warner for the 49ers.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: That is no small comp right there.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: That is about as good as you can be comp to in the NFL.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: Sunny Styles, Green Dot type of player, lines up the defense, makes adjustments, pre-snap, very smart, very intelligent player.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't get fooled by pre-snap or post-snap motions, misdirections, and he gets downhill through traffic, and he gets to the ball carrier in a hurry.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: He is one of the best tacklers that you're going to find.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: He started his career as a safety.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: which is interesting.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: He also then has natural coverage skills and that just adds a whole other dimension to his game in 2024 on that OSU championship team.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: That was his first season ever playing linebacker and he had 100 tackles, six sacks and 11 TFLs.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: First time ever playing linebacker.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: shows you the intelligence level, the football IQ and the ability to adapt his game to the position he's playing.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: Very good football player.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: In 2025, this pasties and 82 tackles, one sack and six, or I'm sorry, seven TFLs.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: He also had two fewer games played because of the buck.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't play those final two games in the college football play.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: I was like they did the year before.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: And towards 25, had the first INT of his entire career.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: So again, mock draft database has his aggregate spot at, okay, still at six overall.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: And his projection is still five overall to the giants per mock draft database.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: So that's sunny styles junior in a nutshell.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll stay in Columbus now, discuss one of everybody's favorite players to talk about, whether he's one of your favorite players to mock for the Browns or to hope they end up taking or just talk about whatever it is.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: We've discussed him before, and it's Caleb downs.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: He is also a guy that many analysts project to the giants at five.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it feels like the giants are pretty much slotted to take a buck either, either taking sunny styles, or taking Caleb downs, or they're going to take Carnell Tate.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who else is really being mocked to them.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I see a Jeremiah love if he gets past the titans, but we'll stick here with Caleb downs, safety,
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: This guy has been incredibly productive since his freshman season at Alabama.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: He stepped on campus and immediately day one became one of the best defensive players in the country, not just in SEC or on his team, in the entire nation.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: He had a hundred and seven tackles as a freshman.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: with 70 of those being solo tackles and Matt led the entire SEC again as a freshman.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: In college football, fresh out of high school, boom leads the SEC in tackles.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: He had two interceptions, four pass breakups, and four TFLs to go along with that.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Then he, let's see, transfers to Ohio State 2024 post 82 tackles.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: Eight tackles for loss.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: He gets his first sack.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Two more interceptions and six pass breakups.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then 2025, 68 tackles five tackles for loss.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: Another sack.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: Two more picks.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: just two pass breakups this season, but what makes Caleb down so good?
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: It starts with the dude gives maximum effort.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: This is a hard-working pay attention to details kind of kid.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: He disrupts plays at the line of scrimmage.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: He does not get thrown off by play action.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: Her any type of misdirection plays.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a nose for the football and he sees what's going on and he reacts and attacks.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: If he continues to learn to trust his instincts even more,
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to see him making even more plays on the ball on Sundays.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: This is a perennial, probable potential all pro type of player.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: Don't let any of the draft fatigue prospects, fatigue, stuff floating around right now about Caleb Downs get to you guys.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: He is probably, if he's not the best football player in this draft, he's one of the best players in this entire draft.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think teams are going to cover his high end production, lengthy experience in the SEC and Big 10 major conferences.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: His leadership, his effort, that'll be a key culture guy for an NFL franchise.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: His coverage skills are fine, his ceiling, his calling card though is a run defense.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: His ability to get to the ball carrier and finish the tackle.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: Whether he goes to the Giants or if the Browns decide to take him here at six,
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think downs is going to be a top 10 pick and I think he's worthy of being a top 10 pick.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll move on here, the last guy that I'm going to talk about in relation to pick six.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: So another prospect here at Atter Around picks six who could be a surprise to Browns fans if the Browns walk up and turn in the card and call his name.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: This is now an offensive player.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: I've already mentioned him once on this show.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: And he's easily, in my opinion, and I think in a lot of people's opinions, the best all around offensive playmaker in this entire draft class.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: He might,
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: You might be the best overall football player in this entire class.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah love the running back out of Notre Dame.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now I can hear it now.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about them on the show before, but again, I know I can hear you guys.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: Josh, why would the Browns take a running back at six?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: They already have Quinschon Judkins.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: What a wasted pick.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: You have to listen to me here.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: I know we're talking about RB when you see his name on listings or mock drafts or whatever, it's going to say, Jeremiah love RB Notre Dame.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: Do not get hung up on those two letters RB.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he plays running back.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: You have to think of Jeremiah love as an offensive weapon, as a true elite playmaker.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: Quinshawn Judkins is a running back, and he's a very good running back, but he is a running back, okay?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: There is a difference here.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: Love would not be a Quinshawn Judkins replacement.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a depth chart altering type of pick.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is an offense altering type of pick.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: We have complained for years and years that the Browns don't have any elite playmakers on the offense.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: So if an elite playmaker is on the board at six, you have to at least consider taking him and putting him on your team in my ideal world.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah Love, Quintion Judkins, are on the field together.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of the time.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: The lines did this so much with Jamir Gibbs and David Montgomery keep those that comparison in your mind.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: What are the browns going to do in that situation?
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: Both these guys are on the field together.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going to hand it off to love?
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going to hand it off to Judkins?
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going to pass it to love?
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: They can pass it to Judkins, too.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going to fake it to love?
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: Hand off to Judkins, vice versa.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: What are they going to do?
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: It would create a dynamic in the offense that we've really never seen before in Cleveland.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's also worth mentioning.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Judkins just had surgery to repair that broken leg and is dislocated ankle that he suffered in December.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now will he be 100% cleared for week one?
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, barring a setback.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the headlines, Andrew Barry, they've all said,
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: by Week 1.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: But cleared does not necessarily mean 100% effective.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: We have seen this type of injury many times for players in the past and while they can get back to the field in a relatively decent time frame, it does take almost a full season to see them return to their true explosiveness prior to the injury.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Tony Pollard, for the Cowboys a few years back, best example I can think of, broke his leg ankle.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: I forget what it was.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was very similar to what Judd can did.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I can't remember exactly, but
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it was toward the end of the season, late in the season, just like Judkins, and he was ready for week one the next season, but it was like week 13 or 14 before he finally had a game where he looked like his previous explosive self.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: So Judkins, he's going to need his workload offset to begin the season anyway.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah Lovewood instantly.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: make this offense so much more fun to watch him telling you guys fit overall great a player in the entire draft class.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a higher grade than Jamir Gibbs had coming out of college.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's just got a slightly lower grade than like a B. John Robinson.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: He is in that prospect here of a safe one, Barclay of B. John Robinson.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot 215 pounds.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: First team all American dope Walker award winner for the best running back in the nation.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Nation.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's been trophy finalist.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: He finished third in the voting.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: Walter Camp Award.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: Maxwell Award.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: The dude just rakes in the accolades.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: He average six.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: 0.9 yards per carry with 137.7 skirmish yards per game.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's insane.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: 2024.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to hear these stats and think about this guy the last two seasons in college football.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: 2024.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: 163 carries.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: Not not that many carries, right?
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: Under 200.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: 1,125 rushing yards that was 6.9 yards per carry.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: and 17 17 touchdowns.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: He also had 28 catches for 237 more yards and two more touchdowns.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: 2025 comes back $199 carry.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: So again, still didn't hit 200.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: 1,372 yards, another 6.9 yards per carry average, and 18 touchdowns.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: With 27 catches, 280 yards and three more touchdowns through the air.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: He scored 40 touchdowns over the last two seasons.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: 40.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's insane.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: One thing that we do know about running backs in these playmakers from college football.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: The ability to score touchdowns does translate.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: That is a talent.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: That is a skill set that does translate into the NFL.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: And there was no one better.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: at scoring touchdowns the last two seasons, then Jeremiah my love.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: He's a true difference to make her for your offense.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: Not a high volume guy, but an elite efficiency guy.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like Jamir gives provides for the lions.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: Love is in a guy who needs 300 carries to make an impact over the course of a season.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: 199.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: That was his highest carry total in college.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: You factor in the receptions.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: And you're looking at a guy who's probably going to get 250 touches max, most likely in the NFL.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: And he's going to destroy defenses on those 250 touches.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: That leaves so much work still on the table for Quinshawn Judkins, who is still a top-shelf brand version of David Montgomery in my opinion.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: But this whole discussion, it's essentially pointless because love, he's probably going to be gone by pick six.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably going to the Titans at four, like I said, maybe the Giants at five.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I've even seen talk about him going three overall to the Cardinals.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: He is that type of a prospect.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: If by some chance though, he is on the board at six, I would imagine the Browns would be working hard to actually find a team that wants him to trade up and get him.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: So we could do that trade back that we love to do so much, but I would be 100% sitting there on the livestream that Thursday night pounding the table to add this in my opinion truly generational offensive weapon to our team But let me know what you guys think about these prospects here at pick six we're going to move over to pick 24 here in a minute But I just want to give you guys a chance to drop in your comments give me some feedback and let me know which of these players would surprise you the most if the Browns took them at six which one
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: would you hate the most if they took it as six and which one if it had to be one of these prospects.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Not an offensive tack on not a wider receiver, who would you want the most if the Browns turned in the card on Thursday night at pic six.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is sponsored by Butcher Box for Pets.

- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, like I said, let's move over, down in the first round to pick 24.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go through some of these names a little faster here, since there's going to be more variance on the board at this point.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: The draft, obviously, then there will be, and there is on, you know, the mocks here, pick six.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: So real quick, just here's a list, names that could surprise the Browns at pick 24, or I'm sorry, names that could surprise Browns fans if the Browns took them.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: at PIC 24.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Kenyan Sadik, tied in from Oregon.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: Caldric Falk, Eddrusher from Auburn, Dylan Thineman, safety from Oregon, a keen mezzador.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: The Eddrusher from Miami Ruben Bains counterpart on the defensive front there in Miami Peter Woods, defensive tackle from Clemson, you always have to mention the top defensive tackle in the class because that could always be on the board for Andrew Berryson's.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: He can't seem to use enough hydraft capital.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: on defensive tackles, another one, Caleb Banks out of Florida, and then D.T.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: Caden, McDonnell out of Ohio State.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: He got Avian Terrell, cornered back out of Clemson, Emmanuel McNair, McNeil Warren, a guy to keep an eye on, safety from Toledo, the Browns, actually already hosted him.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: For a top 30 visit, I believe they went to like their pro day and watched him and stuff.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: So there's some connections with Emanuel McNill Warren.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: CJ Allen, linebacker out of Georgia.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: Cashiest.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: How?
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: Edge Rusher from Texas A&M.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: TJ Parker, Edge Rusher from Clemson.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll mention him here, but I'm not going to go into depth because I'll have an episode at some point here.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm guessing at least a segment.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'll try to do a little bit larger breakdown on Tyson's and the quarterback out of Alabama, because like it or not, he is being linked to the Browns and you know, America, K. Cabot wants the Browns to take him at six.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess we'll at least talk about him.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: So we're familiar with the player.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: Bye.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: We'll kind of go through a couple of these names and a little more depth.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to start here, Kenyan Sadik.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to mention this because I see a lot of browns fans posting on social media in our comments and stuff like, oh, get Sadik.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's an athletic freak.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: This guy would be awesome in our offense with Harrow fan and junior.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's an athletic freak a lot of you guys.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do like him.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: But I am full O-U-T on Kenyan Sadik.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: If you didn't dominate your competition and college football, what makes me believe you're suddenly gonna come dominate NFL talent.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: 51 catches 560 yards, three touchdowns, and 2025.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, nothing about that is impressive to me.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: Just a 1.62 yards per route run.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: That is terrible.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: 1.72 yards per outrun for his entire career.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: That is extremely low.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like bottom of the barrel low, for a tight end to ever be taken in the first round.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: Colston Lovelin, last year, first round pick, 2.22 yards per outrun in his career.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Tyler Warren was 1.99, Brock Bowers, 2.64.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Harold Frick and Fanon was a third round pick, and he had a 3.00 yards per outrun for his career.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: And here we are with Kenyan Sadik at 1.72.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to translate well to the NFL guys.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just telling you right now.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know who he reminds me of?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: O.J.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: Howard.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: Remember him from the 2017 draft class, came in the same year as David and Joku.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Howard had just a 1.64 yards per hour run over his career, but everybody got hot and bothered by this guy.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: Cause of his athletic freakism.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: And it just never worked in the NFL because again, if you can't dominate your competition in college, what makes me think you're going to do it now?
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to do it now.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that is a busted first round pick for somebody.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm out on Kenyan Sadik.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: I will let somebody else swing and miss on him.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: And again, if he hits, he hits, cool.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: I was wrong, but I don't want the Browns taking that shot.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: On Kenyan Sadik based on his metrics, his deeper analytics, just scare me.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about Keldrick Folk, Ed rush her out of Auburn, six foot, six, 275 pounds now.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: Folk would be a fine pick of the Browns aside as shock us with defense at 24 by all accounts.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: High character guy, great culture player, and he's only 20 years old.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: So he's very young and to see the production and leadership level that he was able to produce in college for such a young player, that is a very good sign for his future success.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: in the NFL.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Falca is a guy who's going to come in and be in every down defensive end right off the bat.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think he'll start his career more in like a rotational piece as he continues to develop and polish his game at the NFL level, but he definitely has the potential to become a high-end starter within his first couple seasons after he's drafted.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: This next name, this is probably the top defensive name that's going to be on my radar at 24.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be watching this name the entire night.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: On April 23rd, I already said it.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: A couple of months ago, Emmanuel McNiel Warren, the safety out of Toledo.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: This guy played all four seasons at Toledo, six foot three, 200 pounds.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: He is better utilized around the line of scrimmage.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's a very good run defender.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: But he also shows good anticipation and coverage.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's a good tackle or not great.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: He needs an improved form and his footwork a little bit more in the open field.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: He forced nine career fumbles in college.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: He is very, very good at punching out the ball on the ball carrier.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: 2025, dude racked up 77 tackles, six TFL's half a sack and had two picks.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: He had five total interceptions in his career.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: He also had five pass breakups and the, what was it?
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: Nine fumbles like I mentioned this past season for Toledo.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: Now the Browns I already mentioned this, but again, they hosted him for a top 30 visit.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting, considering that new defensive coordinator, we haven't talked about this a ton on the show, but new defensive coordinator,
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: Specializes his specialty is in the secondary on the defense Rudy has praised he's been on the record praising last year's rookie for the Falcons a guy that I'm still very pissed that we didn't take
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: Xavier Watts, we passed him up to take Dillon Giver on the third round.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm never going to let it go, so don't be surprised here.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: If McNeill warned as a target for the Browns, whether it's a 24 or maybe they hope he slides out of the first round gets to them at 39 or they trade up a couple of spots in the second round to get him, but I think that's a guy that needs to be on our radar as Browns fans.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about defensive tackles again because you know, I can hear it.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: We just took Mason Graham five overall.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're not taking a defensive tack.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: We just took my call the year before with our second round pick.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: We take a defensive tackle every single year.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry again obsessed with trying to get that position as great as he can.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: And he just hasn't been very good at achieving that.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: So would it surprise me if the Browns took a guy like Peter Woods defensive tackle from Clemson?
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: It actually would not surprise me.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't why what love it.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: But here we go.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: We can never dismiss Andrew Barry's desire to replicate what the Eagles have.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: They got a strong defensive interior, Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, Moro, Jamo.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: The difference is, I guess just kind of alluded to, the Eagles actually hit on their defensive tackle picks.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: A.B.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: Looks like he got a right with Mason Graham.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I need a bigger second year step for Mason Graham.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, he missed badly.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say, I'm going to call my call on this until he's not, because so far he's done nothing for the Browns.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: Barely been on the field.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: He got Perry on, went for E.C.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okiika, like it's just not working for the Browns and defensive tackle.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: Peter Wood, six foot two, 300 pounds, his 20, 24 season was better than this past season in 2025 and 24 he had 28 tackles, 9 TFLs and three sacks, this past season 30 tackles, 4 TFLs and two sacks.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: Woods, tough player, he's got those shorter arms that we've already talked about 31 and a quarter inch.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: That allows blockers to get into closer into his frame.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: So he's got a work harder to get through those blocks.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it's gonna be even tougher again at the NFL level.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have the quickness to win past rush reps, you know, in a one-on-one situation, but he would be a solid piece to a unit that already has other players on the line who can collapse the pocket and attack the quarterback, so that would fit.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think with what the Browns have currently.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see that's that's where my notes end here.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's the last player I decided to break down in a in a deeper manner for pick 24.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just kind of looking over the list here on mock draft database.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a good place to end.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_01]: We can talk a little more.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: here in the next, you know, 17 days about, you know, guys like Brandon Sissy and Zion, young Malachi Lawrence, excuse me, whoever we want to talk about really, that could be in play for the Browns.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, a lot of those guys are projected outside the first round, early second round.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: So where the Browns pick it six, where they pick it 24.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: These were some of the names.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: I just want us to all be familiar with.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: If the Browns don't go with offensive line or wide receiver, either of these picks or one, but not the other.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: Who else could they be targeting?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: These are the names that I felt strongest about in play for the Browns for you guys to know before April 23rd.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I appreciate you guys tune into these episodes.

- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: out home as well so life is crazy busy right now for Blake might not see him for a few weeks but as as far as I know he will be there live with us on the 23rd we should have everybody in-house in studio ready to give you guys round one coverage of the NFL draft and we'll be there for pick six or whatever pick we end up making after we trade back which again I feel like we're probably just going to trade back it seems to be what they really want to do
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love it, but it is what it is.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: We'll cover it, and then we'll be there for the second pick, as well.
