In this week's episode, we speak to cellist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Khari Mateen. In 2006, when he was just 19 years old, he secured his first major milestone co-producing and arranging on The Roots Grammy nominated album Game Theory. Since then, he has gone onto work with artists including Jill Scott, Teddy Swims, and Post Malone. He then transitioned into composition for film and television, scoring projects that went onto receive Emmy and Peabody nominations.
