- 0:00Speaker1: Hi, everyone, and welcome to the EyeOpener Society. My name is Gary,
- 0:04Speaker1: and I want to welcome everybody back to our show.
- 0:08Speaker1: Quick update, Hannah is doing well, but things are changing very rapidly behind the scenes.
- 0:14Speaker1: Again, I still cannot talk about it. Again, I'm trying to give Hannah her privacy
- 0:19Speaker1: on all this, but she is doing well.
- 0:23Speaker1: That being said, we are moving forward.
- 0:26Speaker1: We have some new ideas for EyeOpener Society.
- 0:30Speaker1: We're trying to work things out, but we do have our brand new co-host who's
- 0:35Speaker1: been fantastic. And I really see a lot of great things happening along the way.
- 0:40Speaker1: And this episode right now, our new co-host has total creative control over
- 0:46Speaker1: it because she's the one who set down both the topic and everything else.
- 0:50Speaker1: And it's going to be her show. And I'm just here for the ride.
- 0:54Speaker1: So I want to welcome back again, the very wonderful and beautiful Jennifer Miller. Jennifer, how are you?
- 1:01Speaker0: I'm good. How are you?
- 1:03Speaker1: Hey, I'm doing very good. And I'm very excited for this episode because you
- 1:07Speaker1: have creative control and it's taking you out of your comfort zone.
- 1:11Speaker1: And I'm always excited about that.
- 1:13Speaker0: It is. So the topic is the journey within.
- 1:17Speaker0: How would you describe where you're at in your journey through life?
- 1:22Speaker0: And hopefully we can talk about like how you know when it's time to start your
- 1:26Speaker0: like your spiritual journey um do you feel like it ever ends um and do you think
- 1:32Speaker0: that a lot of spiritual people um feel like they have to reflect and change
- 1:38Speaker0: the course of their spiritual journey i.
- 1:41Speaker1: Like that a lot i already could i think we could already do like three or four shows out of that
- 1:47Speaker0: Probably probably probably um,
- 1:52Speaker0: The reason I thought of this topic is because I know with myself,
- 1:56Speaker0: I've been struggling a lot and I've been thinking that I need to reevaluate
- 2:02Speaker0: some things within myself to maybe align better,
- 2:09Speaker0: you know, with with everyone around me.
- 2:12Speaker0: Um and just for myself like you know in a health aspect i feel like if you're not spiritually like,
- 2:19Speaker0: in the right zone or aligning with yourself that
- 2:22Speaker0: um everything else around
- 2:25Speaker0: you is going to be kind of chaos i think you have to find the peace within
- 2:28Speaker0: yourself to put it out there kind of
- 2:31Speaker0: like positivity in a way as well um and
- 2:35Speaker0: just goodwill towards men you know basically like you
- 2:38Speaker0: know anybody really but um so like
- 2:41Speaker0: the topic was spiritual journey within and and um it was kind of like how i'm
- 2:47Speaker0: thinking about this it almost sounds like a q a but it's not so i was i was
- 2:52Speaker0: hoping when i said how would how would you describe your um where you're at
- 2:56Speaker0: with your spiritual journey i was hoping you'd jump in there oh.
- 2:59Speaker1: I got you i'm i'm sorry i missed that cue i will i'll jump in there with that
- 3:06Speaker1: as far as my spiritual journey though you know
- 3:09Speaker0: It's.
- 3:11Speaker1: Difficult for me because i don't have a timeline and i said this many times
- 3:15Speaker1: before um there was a point in my life where i was living everyday life in you
- 3:21Speaker1: know reality basically uh working i had the type a personality.
- 3:27Speaker1: And I don't know exactly when things started to change, but I will say this,
- 3:33Speaker1: as far as my actual spiritual journey did start two years ago.
- 3:36Speaker1: And that started with Jen from Minds Eye Metaphysical. When I first went into
- 3:41Speaker1: her shop for a Reiki session,
- 3:44Speaker1: It opened up that whole spiritual aura that was within me.
- 3:50Speaker1: And I started to see things from a much different and much clearer perspective,
- 3:56Speaker1: whether it's good or not.
- 4:00Speaker1: I've really felt that opening up your eyes and seeing things in a much spiritual
- 4:06Speaker1: way would be probably the most fantastic thing, but it's really not.
- 4:11Speaker1: And people don't realize that. you wind up seeing
- 4:14Speaker1: all the good that should be but it's not
- 4:17Speaker1: there and it kind of sometimes saddens you it's difficult
- 4:20Speaker1: to explain on that level but that's where my spiritual journey began two years
- 4:24Speaker1: ago and i think it's steadily become much more eye-opening every day i find
- 4:32Speaker1: a new direction to go down is any of this making sense for you
- 4:37Speaker0: No it does and then like you saying
- 4:40Speaker0: that like you just started seeing things differently um really
- 4:44Speaker0: resonates with you know my own personal
- 4:47Speaker0: like start um and how
- 4:51Speaker0: you said it makes you sad sometimes you feel things should be
- 4:54Speaker0: a certain way and it's just it's just not it just kind of just is and um i think
- 5:01Speaker0: even if it just is you putting out the positive energy that you do see the struggle
- 5:09Speaker0: with whatever the situation is or the person.
- 5:12Speaker0: I think just being sympathetic and just listening and just.
- 5:17Speaker0: Kind of being that like light in the dark is actually just a
- 5:21Speaker0: good thing for people that aren't on a spiritual
- 5:24Speaker0: journey I think it's a good thing for yourself um in
- 5:27Speaker0: a way kind of like selfish a little bit because you know
- 5:30Speaker0: it's bringing you peace that you're being you know so open
- 5:34Speaker0: and and receptive and um just
- 5:37Speaker0: kind of putting that light out there in a way I
- 5:40Speaker0: know that might sound counterintuitive like the selfish part but
- 5:43Speaker0: sometimes I feel like spiritual journeys um are
- 5:47Speaker0: are meant to be a little bit selfish you know like
- 5:50Speaker0: for yourself I mean obviously because you can't put it for everybody but you
- 5:55Speaker0: can you know I would say kind of glow for everybody in a way kind of like a
- 6:00Speaker0: light um and I also feel like I really I really like your your personal side
- 6:07Speaker0: with that with, uh, you know.
- 6:10Speaker0: Say it kind of just how, how it changed everything you saw, because when I started
- 6:13Speaker0: learning tea reading, you know, I wasn't on the spiritual path at all.
- 6:17Speaker0: Like my grandma, I don't want to say she was a spiritual person,
- 6:21Speaker0: but she was, she was not, she was kind of, you know, just a person that had many troubles,
- 6:28Speaker0: but had this really cool gift with, with tea reading and, you know,
- 6:32Speaker0: reading cards and, and, and doing fun things like that. And even, you know, wax readings.
- 6:37Speaker0: Um, I would have to say that my, my personal journey started,
- 6:41Speaker0: I would say right after I had my son, um, you know, just that whole experience
- 6:46Speaker0: of, of birthing, you know, a child, um, puts you in a different mindset.
- 6:53Speaker0: Um, you feel closer and connected to, to mother nature.
- 6:57Speaker0: And I know that might sound kind of weird, but, um,
- 7:03Speaker0: It changed a lot of the way I look at things and how I felt empathetic and sympathetic
- 7:09Speaker0: and compassionate towards other people.
- 7:13Speaker0: And it really got me thinking that I needed to change some things about the way I was living.
- 7:20Speaker0: And it really brought me a lot of peace.
- 7:25Speaker0: And my journey's not done. I'm still working on it.
- 7:29Speaker0: It's definitely touch and go. There's times I feel like I'm really solid,
- 7:32Speaker0: so I won't reflect and I won't think about things until what hits me, life, and it humbles me.
- 7:42Speaker0: And I will start thinking, oh, I need to reevaluate some things.
- 7:46Speaker0: And so, yeah.
- 7:50Speaker1: Is this not what the spiritual journey is really about?
- 7:55Speaker1: Us as human beings, the paths that we go on in life, it's never really consistent.
- 8:02Speaker1: We always go down different roads every now and then. We always come to these crossroads.
- 8:07Speaker1: So really, when you're talking about a spiritual journey, it doesn't have to
- 8:11Speaker1: be like that big Buddhist statue.
- 8:15Speaker1: It doesn't have to be all of the lights.
- 8:18Speaker1: All it is is a conscientious understanding of yourself.
- 8:22Speaker1: The more you realize the self and
- 8:25Speaker1: the way you should be that's really
- 8:28Speaker1: what the spiritual path is is about so we
- 8:31Speaker1: can't change and also you don't
- 8:34Speaker1: have to live a certain way nobody has to be like a priest or anything we could
- 8:40Speaker1: still live laugh we could still joke about things maybe we shouldn't be joking
- 8:46Speaker1: about we could still drink it's still party but again it's just an understanding
- 8:51Speaker1: of ourselves where we are at
- 8:54Speaker1: what we are trying to achieve and where we're going to go in life.
- 8:58Speaker1: That's the spiritual journey.
- 9:00Speaker1: And depending on, you know, what you decide that could change.
- 9:05Speaker1: Maybe you don't, you figure, Hey, maybe the partying is going to have to stop,
- 9:10Speaker1: you know, but that's a choice that you make.
- 9:13Speaker0: Right.
- 9:14Speaker1: So yeah, that's where we change. I've realized that myself, even like me with
- 9:19Speaker1: drinking, I've stopped.
- 9:22Speaker1: I never had a problem. them it wasn't like an addiction or anything,
- 9:25Speaker1: but I did it on times and I always did it full force.
- 9:29Speaker1: And I don't sit here hating myself for it. It's part of life.
- 9:33Speaker1: It's part of growing up. It's part of being human.
- 9:35Speaker1: But spiritually, I said, maybe it's just time to cut it off because I want to
- 9:40Speaker1: have more time where my mind is more focused and I can think for myself.
- 9:44Speaker1: So that's the differences in life. And yeah, some things could change us.
- 9:48Speaker1: Like you with childbirth. Now, did you have a natural childbirth?
- 9:52Speaker0: No, I had a really, really terrible traumatic childbirth with my first son.
- 9:58Speaker0: I was two weeks overdue and I got induced and nothing was happening.
- 10:04Speaker0: And then all of a sudden he was in distress and I had to get an emergency C-section.
- 10:08Speaker0: And that really was eye-opening that things weren't going to go the way I wanted them to.
- 10:14Speaker0: And I had to learn to accept those things and be okay with it.
- 10:18Speaker0: And I also opened my eyes to the fact that, you know, I was really scared and
- 10:22Speaker0: I handled that situation in a, in a not so pleasant way.
- 10:26Speaker0: If I could take it back, I would.
- 10:29Speaker0: Um, cause I was really scared. I was like, you know, I don't want to have this
- 10:33Speaker0: baby because, you know, I had to get cut open.
- 10:36Speaker0: I was really like, when I say that I was terrified cause I had never had a major
- 10:42Speaker0: surgery and um I regret saying those things because my son is so wonderful and it's uh.
- 10:51Speaker0: It was just like an eye-opening thing like I I need to come to terms and make
- 10:55Speaker0: peace with things like things aren't going to always go the way I want them
- 10:58Speaker0: to But that doesn't mean that I have to be,
- 11:01Speaker0: um It doesn't have to be negative and I and I need to stop panicking as much
- 11:06Speaker0: and I need to just calm down and see how the situation unfolds And once I started
- 11:11Speaker0: thinking that way, it really gave myself a lot of peace um,
- 11:16Speaker0: You know and it helped me with my other my other,
- 11:19Speaker0: you know births and stuff but it also helped me with just
- 11:22Speaker0: everyday situations in life like i
- 11:25Speaker0: you know um but but
- 11:28Speaker0: like you said things aren't in stone and they they change um
- 11:31Speaker0: so then like you know go to
- 11:34Speaker0: college because i went to college after i had my son and
- 11:37Speaker0: um those were stressful stressful times
- 11:40Speaker0: right so after i graduated I found out I had cancer so that really put me in
- 11:47Speaker0: another tailspin and so after I got through that I started looking at my life
- 11:53Speaker0: like there are things that I need to change I need to start becoming more in
- 11:57Speaker0: tune with myself and just.
- 12:02Speaker0: Letting things go where they may, like let the universe handle it and just,
- 12:07Speaker0: you know, not, not lead in a place of fear, but and more in a place of, you know,
- 12:13Speaker0: understanding and trying instead of just being negative and fearful and just sour in general.
- 12:23Speaker0: But uh like you said it's
- 12:26Speaker0: it's continuously like you have to continuously keep
- 12:29Speaker0: thinking um and and working on things for
- 12:32Speaker0: yourself for inner peace and um that got me to thinking like do you ever feel
- 12:38Speaker0: like the spiritual journey ends even after death do you like are you like one
- 12:44Speaker0: of those people that go and think
- 12:45Speaker0: um of reincarnation or do you think your spirit goes somewhere else or.
- 12:50Speaker1: Yeah um i always remember
- 12:54Speaker1: the saying that energy is just constant you
- 12:57Speaker1: know energy cannot be you know destroyed or we continue on we are on a continuous
- 13:04Speaker1: journey my beliefs we do continue on even after death um as far as reincarnation
- 13:12Speaker1: it depends i think what you want to do after this particular life,
- 13:17Speaker1: you may move on to another dimension that you find to be beautiful and you don't
- 13:24Speaker1: want to return and you can stay there.
- 13:26Speaker1: And I also feel though that, hey, listen, maybe you're in that dimension for
- 13:30Speaker1: a certain amount of time.
- 13:32Speaker1: And then you say, listen, I would like to return and reincarnate and you're able to do so.
- 13:38Speaker1: So our spiritual journey is, it's a constant.
- 13:42Speaker1: It's just never ending.
- 13:44Speaker1: We don't, you know, we are energy and that energy remains as a constant. We're in a very
- 13:52Speaker1: Kind of odd place when we're in this life because
- 13:55Speaker1: we are just in this human form this you
- 13:58Speaker1: know meat bag that we carry around with us we uh
- 14:02Speaker1: you know spiritually we do what is the product of this dimension and we become
- 14:08Speaker1: that dimension so yeah we do make really big mistakes here we do it's more of
- 14:15Speaker1: the i guess this is kind of like the party boat of the you know all the dimensions
- 14:21Speaker1: we're here to kind of destroy ourselves always and always overindulge.
- 14:26Speaker1: And there's a few of us that either we've done that and then we decided,
- 14:30Speaker1: hey, spiritually, we want to move away from that and start looking ahead.
- 14:33Speaker1: Or some people just decide to stay in one place. I don't think there is a right or wrong.
- 14:40Speaker1: It's just the way we play out. Our spirituality plays out.
- 14:44Speaker1: It's just like me, as I've gotten older, I just started to realize there's different
- 14:49Speaker1: journeys I want to take. There's different places I want to go.
- 14:53Speaker1: And I have to change the way I live in order to get there.
- 14:57Speaker1: So we need to remain too in this present moment at all times.
- 15:02Speaker1: Because like you said, you have to accept what is handed to you.
- 15:05Speaker1: Even if you want something else and you're trying to manifest that,
- 15:09Speaker1: we still have to understand that we do have to take
- 15:12Speaker1: whatever is coming to us at the particular moment, because these are things
- 15:16Speaker1: we might have to get past to get to where we really want to be.
- 15:20Speaker0: Right. I mean, yeah. I mean, yeah, there was a lot of like, just on my personal
- 15:25Speaker0: stuff, like there is a lot of things I needed to forgive myself for doing.
- 15:30Speaker0: Um, like, especially with reacting with like a, in a fearful way.
- 15:35Speaker0: Um, It really brought out the ugly in me.
- 15:41Speaker0: But yeah, like you said, you're not handed what you want.
- 15:45Speaker0: Then, yeah, you can manifest, but I think you have to work towards it as well.
- 15:50Speaker0: So manifesting and working and planning, I agree with that, to get where you want to be.
- 15:57Speaker0: I mean, there's a ton of ebbs and flows, I think, with the spiritual journey.
- 16:01Speaker0: And there's really no black or white.
- 16:04Speaker0: Like it like how we were discussing with other stuff it's just gray
- 16:07Speaker0: you know like you you need to um find
- 16:11Speaker0: peace within and be okay with certain situations even if
- 16:14Speaker0: they suck you know just find a way to work through that um so this might be
- 16:22Speaker0: a weird question where do you find the peace and replenishment when when the
- 16:28Speaker0: world's going crazy because that kind of goes with the spiritual growth and
- 16:32Speaker0: your spiritual journey?
- 16:35Speaker1: Yeah, we live in a world that is full of the yin, the yang, the positives,
- 16:42Speaker1: the negatives, the evils, the goods.
- 16:45Speaker1: Spiritually, what I found, and I've figured it out basically through meditation,
- 16:51Speaker1: the world will always have evils.
- 16:54Speaker1: There's just no going around that. And I think even in other dimensions,
- 16:58Speaker1: there's goods and there's evils as well.
- 17:01Speaker1: And spiritually, you have to look really at the world as a whole and understand
- 17:08Speaker1: everything is a lesson in this life.
- 17:12Speaker1: No matter what it is, whether it is good, whether it is bad,
- 17:15Speaker1: these are lessons that are teaching us.
- 17:16Speaker1: Those that come into our lives, the situations that come into our lives,
- 17:20Speaker1: be it good or bad, is part of the overall growth of all of us.
- 17:27Speaker1: I could sit here and say, yes, this person is bad. This person is good,
- 17:31Speaker1: but then you could take somebody else and they'll say, well,
- 17:34Speaker1: that person's actually good.
- 17:35Speaker1: And this person's actually bad. It's all about perspectives.
- 17:39Speaker1: Ooh, yeah.
- 17:41Speaker1: Don't understand everything, but we always try to figure it out based upon whatever
- 17:49Speaker1: our beliefs are, our personality is, what we've been taught,
- 17:53Speaker1: what we've learned over the years.
- 17:55Speaker1: So we'll always get different outcomes when we
- 17:58Speaker1: ask different people specific things
- 18:01Speaker1: and yeah the world is it's a
- 18:04Speaker1: mess you know when you could look at it and say it's a real mess but
- 18:07Speaker1: then like me just recently you know when you get that touch of humanity where
- 18:11Speaker1: somebody goes out of the way to do something so profoundly good it snaps you
- 18:17Speaker1: back into reality and says wow the world really is good But do we look for it
- 18:22Speaker1: or are we only looking for the bad?
- 18:25Speaker0: I feel like that's a double-sided coin.
- 18:29Speaker0: Like, I think it depends on how you wake up that day and the first interaction you have.
- 18:36Speaker0: It doesn't have to be with anybody. It could be with yourself.
- 18:39Speaker0: You could wake up groggy and just feeling like hell.
- 18:42Speaker0: And you're obviously going to be in a negative headspace because you're tired still.
- 18:46Speaker0: So you're going to confront everything in in a way that you probably wouldn't
- 18:52Speaker0: if you would have had that extra hour of sleep or so i think it's all about
- 18:56Speaker0: circumstances and then you kind of you basically said that um but you brought
- 19:02Speaker0: up something really interesting so you said people,
- 19:07Speaker0: um so with spiritual journeys you know there's always people that are coming in and out of your life.
- 19:14Speaker0: Um, how's, what do you feel about, um, have you ever heard of like the red string
- 19:18Speaker0: theory or like the soulmate, you know, like the soulmate?
- 19:22Speaker0: Um, I know people say soulmates don't, um, they don't always stay in your life.
- 19:27Speaker0: They're kind of someone that teaches you a lesson and you were talking about lessons.
- 19:32Speaker0: So that kind of got my, my brain going and I'm like, you know,
- 19:36Speaker0: yes, there are people that do give you um lessons in your spiritual journey
- 19:41Speaker0: and then there's people that are soulmates but what if it's the same you know
- 19:46Speaker0: like they are your soulmate they gave you the lesson but they don't stay with
- 19:50Speaker0: you like what's your perspective on that.
- 19:54Speaker1: Yeah that that hits me that
- 19:57Speaker1: i have a lot of relation to that because there are people that
- 20:00Speaker1: have come into my life that meant a lot and
- 20:04Speaker1: then suddenly they're gone for whatever the reason may be um
- 20:07Speaker1: but the entire world is a lesson and everybody that comes into your life is
- 20:14Speaker1: giving you a lesson so many people stay and they're staying because the lesson's
- 20:20Speaker1: not over those that have left, they've taught you the lesson.
- 20:24Speaker1: You've either learned from it and moved on. So they feel they're no longer part of that anymore.
- 20:31Speaker1: Uh, but soulmates. Yeah. Uh, we have so many, and it's not so much when you
- 20:36Speaker1: talk about falling in love with a soulmate, you can have soulmates outside of
- 20:41Speaker1: a personal relationship too, as well.
- 20:44Speaker1: Um, people you connect with people that you just feel
- 20:47Speaker1: you have to become friends with or people you
- 20:50Speaker1: feel that you need to speak to because there's
- 20:53Speaker1: so many people that come in my life that they're just there because
- 20:56Speaker1: they're just actors in this whole play but they
- 20:59Speaker1: don't mean anything they're not there for any real lesson they're just there
- 21:02Speaker1: because they're crossing the same street i'm crossing or they're asking me for
- 21:06Speaker1: the time it's very small low level stuff but those that i feel connected to
- 21:11Speaker1: like after they speak i need to continuously speak to them these are your soulmates
- 21:15Speaker1: these are the people that you want to seek,
- 21:17Speaker1: because these are people that are going to teach you lessons.
- 21:19Speaker1: The lessons may be good. The lessons may even be bad, but we all need to be
- 21:23Speaker1: taught in different ways.
- 21:25Speaker1: So I, you know, I feel, you know, I had you as a co-host because I felt you
- 21:31Speaker1: and I got some sort of soulmate connection.
- 21:33Speaker1: I personally feel that too.
- 21:35Speaker1: Um, you know, I got a real soul, soulful connection with my wife.
- 21:39Speaker1: I have a soul connection with a couple of people. My circle is very small,
- 21:43Speaker1: you know, And that is because spiritually I've shut out all of the negative
- 21:48Speaker1: and I'm only seeking those that I feel are going to uplift me positively.
- 21:54Speaker0: Right. I like that. You said that like your your circle is small like I,
- 22:00Speaker0: I've been talking to a lot of just um people that i've met at festivals um people that i've um,
- 22:08Speaker0: run into it at events And um,
- 22:11Speaker0: they always say the same thing kind of like they keep their friends their friend
- 22:15Speaker0: group small But they know a lot of people like their acquaintances with them
- 22:19Speaker0: and when they talk about those people, um that they're,
- 22:24Speaker0: you know, their, their click, their little small group of people,
- 22:27Speaker0: you can see the twinkle in their face.
- 22:29Speaker0: And then they say all the other acquaintances and it's just kind of like,
- 22:32Speaker0: eh, you know, and, and I feel that because like, I have my small circle too.
- 22:38Speaker0: And, and, um, you do, you feel like you have really good connections with them.
- 22:43Speaker0: And, and I do believe that the whole thing with the lessons,
- 22:46Speaker0: they do give you lessons, but the ones that stay, I feel, I think they add more than the,
- 22:54Speaker0: And I know that that could be part of the lesson, but they could also just genuinely,
- 23:01Speaker0: be intertwined into your path, if that makes sense.
- 23:04Speaker0: And I don't mean soulmate-wise. I mean just...
- 23:08Speaker0: How do I say it? I don't even know how to say it.
- 23:10Speaker1: The strength theory that you mentioned. We're all connected.
- 23:14Speaker1: We're all intertwined in some way, shape, or form.
- 23:16Speaker1: Yeah, I believe. Yeah, so that's why, yeah, these people, even if they're just
- 23:21Speaker1: lending comfort and all, that's part of that intertwined strength theory.
- 23:26Speaker1: We're connected in some way. We feel certain sorts of comforts with certain people because of it.
- 23:32Speaker0: Right and it and it's good that you
- 23:34Speaker0: have that i feel definitely with with
- 23:38Speaker0: your journey of life i mean and spiritual like parts
- 23:42Speaker0: of life like you gotta have that comfort you gotta have that
- 23:45Speaker0: support um and sometimes it's the strangest thing like people that you haven't
- 23:50Speaker0: talked to in a while just show up into your life or a message and you're just
- 23:54Speaker0: like really surprised because the conversation goes so well that it, um, it's a surprise.
- 24:03Speaker0: It's in a good way, not in a bad way. Well, maybe in a bad way,
- 24:07Speaker0: but, um, it just is very surprising.
- 24:11Speaker0: Um, how you didn't like, you just, you needed that conversation.
- 24:17Speaker0: I mean, it was always surprising to me that I needed some type of conversation
- 24:21Speaker0: that i didn't think i needed but i got it and it has got me thinking you know
- 24:27Speaker0: like the universe doesn't always give you what you want it gives you what you
- 24:31Speaker0: need and that's the thing oh sorry.
- 24:34Speaker1: Go ahead you're fine because i was also saying i wanted to say if we look beyond
- 24:40Speaker1: the conversations have you ever in life
- 24:44Speaker0: Passed.
- 24:45Speaker1: By somebody made no kind of uh contact with them But they stay in your mind for some reason
- 24:53Speaker0: Yeah, i've had those I find them a little weird sometimes, but,
- 24:57Speaker0: I feel like They were just needed there Like their energy was good I mean,
- 25:03Speaker0: it could have been bad, but usually the ones I remember I had a really good feeling about them.
- 25:09Speaker0: Even if they just walked by like I just felt something,
- 25:13Speaker0: very personal and positive and just,
- 25:17Speaker0: you could tell they were a very kind person and they
- 25:21Speaker0: walked past you and you didn't want to be like hi you know my
- 25:24Speaker0: name's so and so you know can i show you my rock collection or something can
- 25:29Speaker0: i show you some bones that i have but they might look at you strange then and
- 25:34Speaker0: that that would definitely be probably the end of that but um yeah i've thought
- 25:39Speaker0: about people like that um I haven't in a while though.
- 25:43Speaker0: So Hopefully I have like another interaction like that, you know,
- 25:47Speaker0: just walking somewhere and I see somebody But I haven't had one in I don't know really long time.
- 25:55Speaker1: Yeah, the connections together, it goes beyond conversation.
- 25:59Speaker1: Sometimes it's just you feel connected to someone you've never even said hello
- 26:03Speaker1: to, but you can't stop thinking about that.
- 26:05Speaker1: Their face remains, their energy remains with you.
- 26:08Speaker1: So yes, a spiritual journey is beyond just words because when we're in the other
- 26:14Speaker1: dimensions, I don't think we use words really to communicate.
- 26:18Speaker1: It's more telepathy, it's more energy. so the spoken
- 26:22Speaker1: word it's very powerful here in this
- 26:25Speaker1: 3d state because it's really all we have for communication um but yeah in other
- 26:30Speaker1: dimensions we don't need that our own energies spread out and other people can
- 26:36Speaker1: feel it more than they can hear it and sometimes intermingles down here on this level
- 26:42Speaker0: Yeah i really like that i wish we could
- 26:45Speaker0: see people's energies i wish we could feel them because i
- 26:49Speaker0: think people i think people would be a lot nicer i mean honestly
- 26:52Speaker0: i think people would be a lot more um sympathetic and um compassionate um you
- 26:58Speaker0: know honestly though i don't know if i'd want people sometimes when you're feeling
- 27:02Speaker0: just down and you have that pain you know the sadness and the pain i don't know
- 27:07Speaker0: if i'd ever really want anybody to feel that energy so like,
- 27:12Speaker0: Yeah, I don't know if I'd want that, but it would be interesting.
- 27:18Speaker0: It would be really interesting to feel and to see that kind of energy.
- 27:23Speaker0: But also, I think you can. I think you can see people's auras.
- 27:26Speaker0: I think people just choose not to, because they want to give people the benefit of the doubt.
- 27:32Speaker1: Yeah but we do uh feel energies we do understand like when somebody's around
- 27:39Speaker1: you that you just don't have a good feeling about that's
- 27:42Speaker0: Energy yeah i do get.
- 27:43Speaker1: That on all this yeah but we that's how
- 27:46Speaker1: we are we some people are just much more in tune to
- 27:49Speaker1: it than others are we do have that actual feeling
- 27:53Speaker1: for other people's energies my wife feels other people's energies
- 27:56Speaker1: just like you mentioned people that are in a down spot you
- 27:59Speaker1: don't want to force out all the people but my wife just
- 28:01Speaker1: happens to pick up on it and it's it's very difficult
- 28:04Speaker1: for her to shut it off because she doesn't understand it so yes energies
- 28:08Speaker1: we can feel them we do know that
- 28:11Speaker1: they exist it's just some people play
- 28:14Speaker1: on different types of energies because you got your energy vampires
- 28:18Speaker1: that want to suck you dry you got want to
- 28:21Speaker1: inflict pain on others emotional pain
- 28:24Speaker1: on us because that's part of them this is all part of our spiritual journey
- 28:28Speaker1: do we those people sometimes they want to do it purposely or sometimes they
- 28:32Speaker1: don't even realize they're doing it so that's where we got to concentrate on
- 28:36Speaker1: ourselves to build up our own spirituality to understand how we treat others i
- 28:43Speaker0: Think i was more you know when i was saying that
- 28:46Speaker0: i think i was more like actually seeing it like
- 28:49Speaker0: glowing you know what i mean because you're right like
- 28:52Speaker0: i i pick up on you know some energies um tension um vampire like the energy
- 28:59Speaker0: vampire thing um you know the the person that's really comforting that kind
- 29:04Speaker0: of energy yeah i i was more along the lines like if you could actually just see it like um,
- 29:11Speaker0: like predator yeah there you go yeah good one.
- 29:16Speaker1: But people can see auras there are people that can see aura i think we all can
- 29:21Speaker1: too if we practice it like i always say i just think we've been deprogrammed
- 29:26Speaker1: over the years and we just lost these abilities but i just really do
- 29:32Speaker1: feel that we can see these things if we concentrate and some people can but
- 29:38Speaker1: if we can't see the actual aura sometimes we could just feel it
- 29:42Speaker0: Yeah i mean i've i
- 29:45Speaker0: i've never actually seen someone's or maybe like once or
- 29:48Speaker0: twice if they have like really strong energy um and you're like wow that is
- 29:54Speaker0: such a bright like you're a very bright person you're like you know uh how would
- 29:59Speaker0: i say someone that's very charismatic you definitely can feel that see it and just vibe with it yeah,
- 30:08Speaker0: um energy vampires though i feel like they're really sly and shady type of people
- 30:13Speaker0: like i think they know exactly that they're just draining the hell out of you
- 30:17Speaker0: i mean they just know i don't,
- 30:21Speaker0: even if it's subconsciously i feel like they just feel it um but like other
- 30:27Speaker0: people i feel like you you do pick up the energy but not the aura part as much
- 30:34Speaker0: and like you said deprogramming like yeah I could see that.
- 30:37Speaker0: I could definitely, definitely get behind something like that because,
- 30:41Speaker0: you know, we're programmed to just be normal humdrum people that go throughout our day.
- 30:48Speaker0: You either like somebody or don't and you go home and that's the end of it.
- 30:53Speaker1: I seen something that in relation to this and it, and it kind of opened me up
- 30:58Speaker1: to it because we're talking about the spiritual journey and what we see in this
- 31:03Speaker1: life and what we do about it.
- 31:05Speaker1: And I always questioned that deprogramming and why that is.
- 31:09Speaker1: I think we are born into this complete barrier and then it's up to us as individuals to figure it out.
- 31:17Speaker1: And the forces that be, quote unquote, are hiding it from us.
- 31:21Speaker1: And I had seen this thing, this quote,
- 31:25Speaker1: which I love looking at because a lot of them, I really can
- 31:28Speaker1: analyze them they said we are able
- 31:32Speaker1: to get more connection to
- 31:35Speaker1: ourselves but the problem is we have bills we have
- 31:38Speaker1: jobs we have all of that was created so
- 31:41Speaker1: that we don't figure out who we are and that
- 31:44Speaker1: is what i've really looked at and
- 31:47Speaker1: i said wow that does make sense so those forces that be
- 31:50Speaker1: that don't want us to be spiritually outgoing we created all this mess we created
- 31:56Speaker1: all this nonsense that keeps us stressed and anxiety that prevents us because
- 32:00Speaker1: we had none of that and we were able to just sit with no worries and just concentrate
- 32:05Speaker1: on ourselves and our souls we would be much better people
- 32:10Speaker0: Limitless like that's exactly where my mind goes to when you're saying this
- 32:14Speaker0: and and i like that um uh was it like a meme or like a something that you read somewhere am.
- 32:20Speaker1: I right it was just quotes yeah memes i try to stay away from but i look at
- 32:24Speaker1: a lot of quotes i go on like these buddhist sites and all that and get all these quotes
- 32:28Speaker0: I do like that though because if
- 32:32Speaker0: you really yeah like if you really think about it like you're
- 32:35Speaker0: always stressed about having to make that next car payment or
- 32:38Speaker0: you know what you're having for dinner or making sure your kids are
- 32:41Speaker0: you know um it's a
- 32:44Speaker0: place they're supposed to be at especially after school activities like you're always
- 32:47Speaker0: busy doing and doing that you're not able to sit and just in a way within prosper
- 32:54Speaker0: like out you know so yeah that makes like a lot of sense and it really it kind
- 33:01Speaker0: of resonates with me I mean I really see that And, and, um,
- 33:05Speaker0: yeah, I think if we had more opportunity to focus on ourself.
- 33:10Speaker1: A would be much spiritually,
- 33:12Speaker0: You know, better inclined within ourself and, um, able to connect more with people. Yeah. And.
- 33:20Speaker1: I think if
- 33:21Speaker0: We were able to connect more with people, we would, you know.
- 33:25Speaker1: Be in a
- 33:25Speaker0: Lot better place than we are now. I mean, so. Exactly.
- 33:31Speaker1: So that, that's the lesson right there. your spirituality is concentrated on yourself.
- 33:36Speaker1: Shut out all that noise, all that nonsense that they say we're supposed to do.
- 33:41Speaker1: Take moments for yourself. Take as much time as you need for yourself to focus
- 33:45Speaker1: on yourself, learn about yourself, and then and only then can we become better people.
- 33:51Speaker0: And with that, folks.
- 33:53Speaker1: I really have to say I appreciate everybody that tunes in and joins us with the Eye Opener Society.
- 33:59Speaker1: We are going to probably change things up a little bit because I know I've been
- 34:04Speaker1: hitting everybody with a lot of episodes all at once.
- 34:06Speaker1: And we also have Elaine's Arcane Oracle.
- 34:10Speaker1: We have Sunset Childs Out There podcast.
- 34:13Speaker1: And we have Anne Lund's Haunted and Waiting.
- 34:16Speaker1: So with all that stuff and if they come out all at once
- 34:19Speaker1: i think it kind of messes everybody up and you
- 34:22Speaker1: get kind of get tired of listening so i think we're going to do a
- 34:25Speaker1: little bit less episodes i might do a solo
- 34:28Speaker1: episode here and there those little five minute quick ones just
- 34:31Speaker1: to fill in some space but i'm going to try not to bombard everybody with too
- 34:34Speaker1: many episodes and the only other reason i'm saying this is because uh jennifer
- 34:38Speaker1: and and i we before the show we started to have a little conversation about
- 34:41Speaker1: doing something and i'll release that once we make a decision on I think there's
- 34:46Speaker1: all the paths that we can take that I think where we can really talk.
- 34:50Speaker1: So I want to say thank you, Jennifer, for, you know, being the creative host
- 34:54Speaker1: behind this episode. I think you did one.
- 34:56Speaker0: I hope it was worth like, you know, people listening and I hope that it wasn't,
- 35:01Speaker0: um, draining on you. I mean, cause I know sometimes when I talk to people,
- 35:06Speaker0: I have to wonder, I'm like, am I that energy vampire? Am I draining you?
- 35:10Speaker0: Am I taking your soul? Kind of, you know.
- 35:12Speaker1: I don't feel that way at all. Like I say, it's, we connect.
- 35:16Speaker1: We have deep conversations. We do, you know, off the show as well,
- 35:20Speaker1: but that's why I have you here.
- 35:22Speaker1: Um, yeah, there will be people that don't connect with this,
- 35:25Speaker1: but that's the world of podcasting. You find what you connect with.
- 35:29Speaker1: So if this show connects with you and if people connect with Jennifer or people
- 35:33Speaker1: connect with me and people connect with Hannah, we could bring that to you.
- 35:37Speaker1: Then people are going to connect with Elaine, with Sunset Child and Ann Lund.
- 35:40Speaker1: And so, yeah, that's why I try to bring as many people. That's why this is a society.
- 35:45Speaker1: It's different people, there's different topics, and we're here for you.
- 35:48Speaker1: And Jennifer Milley, you're doing fantastic.
- 35:50Speaker1: And I thank you again so very much for helping host this episode,
- 35:55Speaker1: being creative control, and we'll be working on a lot more.
- 35:59Speaker1: So everybody, yeah, don't forget, tune into our shows. I try to release them every Monday.
- 36:03Speaker1: This episode is being released at the end of the month just because,
- 36:06Speaker1: again, And Elaine gave us a bonus episode for the full Gemini moon.
- 36:10Speaker1: So I hope you had a chance to listen to that. It was really good recording.
- 36:15Speaker1: And also don't forget to listen to Anne Lund's Haunted and Waiting,
- 36:18Speaker1: Sunset Child Out There podcast.
- 36:20Speaker1: These are all great podcasters with their own different artistic approaches
- 36:23Speaker1: on everything. And I find them all amazing.
- 36:27Speaker1: So everybody take care and we'll see you soon. Thank you.
