Saginaw Road Closure Alert | Flint News
Saginaw’s M-58 and State Street intersection is locked down through Wednesday, Sept. 23—no north-south crossings allowed. Expect major roadwork: full grading, curbs, and a complete rebuild of 1.1 miles of eastbound M-58 from Avalon to Bay Street. Eastbound traffic is rerouted via Davenport Ave., while westbound lanes are now two-way with a temporary center turn lane. Upgrades include new asphalt, sidewalks, signals, signs, landscaping—and crucial sewer/water line improvements. All dependent on weather—stay tuned for updates.
