- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show on 710WOR. Hey, it's hour number two.
- 0:09Speaker 1: That's right. We start at nine o'clock now. Hour number two.
- 0:13Speaker 1: A lot to get to this hour. Now, latest on Iran,
- 0:17Speaker 1: it might be Scott Besson that ends up winning this
- 0:21Speaker 1: war for us. We've done tremendous economic damage to them already.
- 0:26Speaker 1: And obviously we've completely eliminated their military. They no longer
- 0:29Speaker 1: have an Air Force. They no longer have a Navy.
- 0:32Speaker 1: They don't have much of an army left. They got
- 0:35Speaker 1: a couple of missiles and a few drones. That's all
- 0:37Speaker 1: they got. No military of any kind to speak of.
- 0:41Speaker 1: And then the economy is completely shut down right now.
- 0:45Speaker 1: No oil. We have oil coming in and out of
- 0:48Speaker 1: the Straits. We use the southern corridor along the coast
- 0:51Speaker 1: of Oman. But Iran, unable to ship any oil. And
- 0:57Speaker 1: the crackdown now begins trying to just shut down their
- 1:00Speaker 1: entire economy. Besant will order all the banks to no
- 1:04Speaker 1: longer do anything with Iran. And he's going to the
- 1:07Speaker 1: G20 summit where he'll talk to world leaders about putting
- 1:12Speaker 1: sanctions on Iran, freezing them out of the banking system
- 1:15Speaker 1: and everything else. The currency will collapse. Inflation is already 90%
- 1:19Speaker 1: in Iran. Besant, pretty good at this stuff.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Because these jobs are going to Americans.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Now, when it comes to jobs, that's the other thing.
- 1:28Speaker 1: You get rid of all these migrants, illegals, not immigrants.
- 1:32Speaker 1: We like immigrants, but migrants, illegals that are here. You
- 1:36Speaker 1: free up a lot of jobs. Because these jobs are
- 1:38Speaker 1: going to Americans.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Like, we have seen over 2 million jobs created for Americans,
- 1:43Speaker 2: and we've seen over a million illegals leave the workforce.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And guess what?
- 1:47Speaker 2: The laws of supply and demand still work. When you
- 1:51Speaker 2: take the illegals out of the workforce, working-class wages go up.
- 1:55Speaker 2: When you send them back home, rents go down.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, there was always this myth, well, they do the
- 2:00Speaker 1: jobs Americans won't do. That's not true. Americans did all
- 2:05Speaker 1: those jobs for millions of years. What they do is
- 2:08Speaker 1: they'll do the jobs for one-third the price and put
- 2:12Speaker 1: Americans out of work. Yeah. The jobs are back. The
- 2:16Speaker 1: economy doing pretty good. It's not the greatest economy in history,
- 2:20Speaker 1: but the economy is doing very well right now. Yet
- 2:23Speaker 1: the media trying to convince everybody that we're in economic collapse.
- 2:28Speaker 1: The economy is on the brink. Everybody is suffering. That's
- 2:31Speaker 1: not true at all. Inflation is relatively low. Employment is high.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Income into the average family is up like $ 2, 000. Wages
- 2:42Speaker 1: are up. The economy is doing pretty well, but you
- 2:49Speaker 1: don't really have actual news media anymore. They just try
- 2:51Speaker 1: to slant and distort and convince you. They did that
- 2:55Speaker 1: with George H.W. Bush in his final year. He was
- 3:00Speaker 1: getting ready for the race against Bill Clinton, and they
- 3:03Speaker 1: just broadcast day and night that the economy was in
- 3:08Speaker 1: terrible trouble. The economy was awful. And if you do
- 3:11Speaker 1: this day and night, it was easier back in 1999, 2000,
- 3:16Speaker 1: because there was no real Internet yet then. So you
- 3:19Speaker 1: could convince everybody the economy was terrible and they better vote.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It wasn't true at all. If you watch the CBS
- 3:26Speaker 1: Evening News with Dan Rather back then, every night they
- 3:30Speaker 1: would open with the headlines and they'd say, and coming up,
- 3:33Speaker 1: our feature, economy in crisis. You'd see this every night.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And coming up, our special feature, Economy in Crisis. Every
- 3:41Speaker 1: night you'd see this leading up to the election. Then
- 3:44Speaker 1: one day Bill Clinton wins. You never heard that feature again.
- 3:47Speaker 1: That night the feature disappeared. It was just to affect
- 3:51Speaker 1: the election. As I mentioned last hour, President Trump calling
- 3:57Speaker 1: on the FCC to go after Kristen Welker for broadcasting
- 4:00Speaker 1: false information. A lot of lies happen on those Sunday shows.
- 4:05Speaker 1: A lot of fake stuff is said. So, uh, And
- 4:08Speaker 1: you got these guys like, take George Stephanopoulos. They try
- 4:12Speaker 1: to convince you they're news people. They're journalists. They're not.
- 4:17Speaker 1: They're political operatives. They're political advocates. They're pushing a political
- 4:21Speaker 1: point of view. They're propagandists. You know, this Don Lemon case.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Don Lemon, they're going to go after Don Lemon for,
- 4:29Speaker 1: you know, going into that church, menacing people, terrorizing people
- 4:34Speaker 1: in the church, coming after them. And here's the Attorney
- 4:37Speaker 1: General Todd Blanch. Now, listen to Stephanopoulos. It doesn't say,
- 4:41Speaker 1: could you explain the case to us? He's advocating. He's
- 4:44Speaker 1: arguing the case against prosecuting Don Lemon. So when do
- 4:48Speaker 1: you believe that Mr.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Lemon crossed the line from reporting on what was going
- 4:52Speaker 3: on to criminal activity? Conveniently missing from what you just showed, George,
- 4:57Speaker 3: is the appellate court and a judge on the appellate
- 4:59Speaker 3: court who said just a few days later there was
- 5:01Speaker 3: clearly probable cause and it wasn't even a close question.
- 5:05Speaker 3: And by the way, a grand jury, which is what
- 5:07Speaker 3: our system has set up to determine whether probable cause exists,
- 5:10Speaker 3: concluded that there was probable cause.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah, so Stephanopoulos trying to con the audience. He tried
- 5:15Speaker 1: to make it sound like there was no reason to
- 5:17Speaker 1: go after this guy. It was just some crazy thing
- 5:19Speaker 1: you came up with. He's convincing the audience, why would
- 5:25Speaker 1: you go after, forgot to mention, a federal judge ruled
- 5:29Speaker 1: on it, a grand jury ruled on it. It's not
- 5:31Speaker 1: Todd Blanche. A court, a judge, a jury, grand jury.
- 5:36Speaker 1: ruled there was reason to go after Lemon. It looked
- 5:38Speaker 1: like he committed a crime.
- 5:39Speaker 3: But nobody in this country should feel comfortable storming into
- 5:43Speaker 3: a church while it's ongoing and disrupting that church service
- 5:47Speaker 3: and thinking that we're just going to stand by and
- 5:50Speaker 3: let that happen because there is a statute that does
- 5:52Speaker 3: not allow that to happen. It doesn't matter if you
- 5:55Speaker 3: happen to be a former CNN journalist. It doesn't matter
- 5:58Speaker 3: if you're a rioter. It doesn't matter if you think
- 6:01Speaker 3: you're peacefully protesting. You are not allowed to do that.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Let's be honest. Don Lemon wasn't there in Minnesota
- 6:07Speaker 1: to report on anything. He was there to advocate. He
- 6:10Speaker 1: was there just to push his crazy politics on people. Hey,
- 6:16Speaker 1: in Michigan, you got this Abdul El-Sayed running. So we
- 6:21Speaker 1: know he's an anti-Semite. We know he's anti-Israel. But he's
- 6:26Speaker 1: been taking racist swipes at Usha Vance, the second lady,
- 6:31Speaker 1: wife of Vice President Vance. He's been going after her.
- 6:35Speaker 1: She's Indian American. And he's really been hitting her hard, uh,
- 6:40Speaker 1: making fun of her. Uh, and he said, uh, so
- 6:44Speaker 1: it did, uh, I guess, uh, Vance's father is no
- 6:47Speaker 1: longer with us. He said, but, uh, do we think
- 6:50Speaker 1: JD would take Usha with him back in time to
- 6:53Speaker 1: meet Papa? I guess that's what Vance in his book said.
- 6:56Speaker 1: He called his father. So he's implying that, uh, The
- 7:00Speaker 1: father would be repulsed that he married an Indian-American. It's
- 7:03Speaker 1: all kinds of racist nonsense from El-Sayed. But the good
- 7:06Speaker 1: news is it's backfiring badly in Michigan where there are
- 7:12Speaker 1: 130,000 Indian-Americans and they're crucial voters there in some districts.
- 7:18Speaker 1: So they're up in arms about Vance. And a lot
- 7:21Speaker 1: of women are turning on him. They don't like the
- 7:22Speaker 1: fact that he went after the wife and attacked her
- 7:25Speaker 1: for her nationality. Not a good look for Vance, so
- 7:30Speaker 1: he's getting a lot of pushback there. Now, this is
- 7:32Speaker 1: a big state, and it's very important to female vote there. Michigan,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it's a swing state. Third biggest when it comes to
- 7:40Speaker 1: female voting, female voter participation. Sixty-nine percent of women turn
- 7:46Speaker 1: out in Michigan, so he's got a big problem there.
- 7:50Speaker 1: He's also got a very, very tiny slight lead over
- 7:56Speaker 1: Mike Rogers, but that should evaporate pretty soon. But again,
- 8:01Speaker 1: he's gone after Usha a few times. Now, they're sending
- 8:04Speaker 1: Vance to Michigan to campaign against J.D. Vance. He's from Ohio. Ohio, Michigan,
- 8:12Speaker 1: they border each other. It's all the same place, although
- 8:14Speaker 1: there's a Michigan-Ohio state rivalry, but still, Ohio, Michigan, they're
- 8:19Speaker 1: pretty much the same. So Ohio, J.D. Vance is from there.
- 8:24Speaker 1: He speaks the language. And he'll be campaigning against El Sayed.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And he probably will do him a lot of damage
- 8:30Speaker 1: when they're, you know, he's also got the problems with
- 8:33Speaker 1: all his Hassan Piker stuff, who is an ugly, dirty,
- 8:37Speaker 1: dirty anti-Semite. In fact, you got Jamie Raskin was there
- 8:43Speaker 1: trying to campaign for El Sayed. Debbie Dingle, who's an old,
- 8:47Speaker 1: old Michigan Democrat. They tried to ask her about Hassan Piker,
- 8:51Speaker 1: screaming at the reporter, don't ask me about Hassan Piker.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's not what this is about. Yes, it is. It's
- 8:57Speaker 1: exactly what this is about. It's what it's about. This
- 8:59Speaker 1: guy's perceived as a racist, an anti-Semite, hanging around with anti-Semites.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It's exactly what it's about. So the midterms, I know,
- 9:08Speaker 1: and this is the other thing, the media will convince
- 9:10Speaker 1: you that Democrats are way out in the lead for
- 9:14Speaker 1: the midterms. It's not true at all. The way they
- 9:16Speaker 1: do that, it's just like Stephanopoulos. They leave out half
- 9:19Speaker 1: the story. They'll give you some facts, but leave out
- 9:22Speaker 1: the other facts of the story. So you'll see this
- 9:25Speaker 1: all over the place. They do it all the time
- 9:27Speaker 1: on MSNBC. They'll put up Trump's poll numbers. Look how
- 9:30Speaker 1: low his approval ratings are. Look at that. That is,
- 9:34Speaker 1: look how low his approval ratings are. They never mention
- 9:37Speaker 1: the Democrats. The Democrats are much lower approval ratings than Trump.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Trump's approval ratings are a little low. Democrats are the
- 9:48Speaker 1: lowest approval ratings ever in history. They're setting records in polls.
- 9:53Speaker 1: for lowest approval rates. You know, the only guy that
- 9:57Speaker 1: does it is, believe it or not, is this guy
- 9:58Speaker 1: on CNN, Harry Enten. their pollster. Trump even praising him
- 10:02Speaker 1: over the weekend on Truth Social, saying good for him.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You know, he actually, actually gives him a drop of credibility.
- 10:10Speaker 1: He's the only guy that actually reports all the poll numbers.
- 10:14Speaker 1: They con you on everywhere else. that Trump's low, never
- 10:18Speaker 1: mentioning that Democrats are 100 times lower. So right now,
- 10:21Speaker 1: it looks pretty good for Republicans in the midterms. Also remember,
- 10:25Speaker 1: a guy like Trump, very, very concerned about his legacy.
- 10:29Speaker 1: He knows it's his final two years. He knows when
- 10:33Speaker 1: he leaves, they're going to try to tear him apart.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Legacy is important. So this is a big thing for him,
- 10:38Speaker 1: winning these midterms, because historically, you always lose the midterms
- 10:42Speaker 1: when you're president. You get elected, and then two years later,
- 10:46Speaker 1: You'll lose the midterms. That's always the way. It happens
- 10:49Speaker 1: to every Democrat, every Republican. Rare, rare exception. So this
- 10:55Speaker 1: is part of his legacy, to defy the odds and
- 10:58Speaker 1: win the midterms. So you're going to see him. It
- 11:01Speaker 1: hasn't really started yet. It's October. September, October, you're going
- 11:04Speaker 1: to see him really pour it on, really hit the
- 11:07Speaker 1: gas trying to win those midterms. And he probably will
- 11:10Speaker 1: pull it off. Now, you know, in Canada, where they're
- 11:13Speaker 1: all upset about Lake America– In fact, we find out
- 11:17Speaker 1: now that Google has already changed it to Lake America
- 11:22Speaker 1: on Google Maps. But we find out now that the
- 11:25Speaker 1: White House has also asked Apple to change it to
- 11:30Speaker 1: Lake of America on Apple Maps. Now, you say, well,
- 11:33Speaker 1: that's crazy. They shouldn't cave in. Well, you know, Google
- 11:37Speaker 1: may be right. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum explaining
- 11:41Speaker 1: that when it comes to these names, they're determined by
- 11:44Speaker 1: the Department of Interior. which runs the Board of Geographic Names.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's part of the U.S. Geological Survey, and it's the
- 11:54Speaker 1: official naming body of the United States government. So if
- 11:57Speaker 1: they declare it's the Gulf of America or Lake America, well,
- 12:02Speaker 1: then that's it. It is officially. Now you get a
- 12:05Speaker 1: Democrat in, he'll change it back, but apparently they've asked Apple,
- 12:09Speaker 1: who's a little late on this, Now, when it comes
- 12:11Speaker 1: to Canada, I know you feel bad. Why aren't you
- 12:13Speaker 1: picking on Canada? Where they're our most beloved ally? Eh,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you know what? Oh, they're okay. But they're pretty bad
- 12:23Speaker 1: in Canada, too. You know, the big network. They got
- 12:25Speaker 1: one big network, the CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The CBC.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's what everybody watches. That's their nightly news. That's their
- 12:34Speaker 1: Sunday shows. That's their network for news, the CBC. Well,
- 12:39Speaker 1: this came out. late last week, that there was a
- 12:43Speaker 1: memo sent to everybody at the CBC. The CBC News
- 12:48Speaker 1: Senior Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust sent out
- 12:55Speaker 1: a memo to everybody there. September 11th coming up, there'll
- 12:59Speaker 1: be a lot of reporting on September 11th. They were
- 13:02Speaker 1: all told in this memo, here's the exact quote, Do
- 13:06Speaker 1: not refer to the September 11th attacks as terrorist attacks.
- 13:12Speaker 1: That's right. That's how bad the CBC is. They will
- 13:16Speaker 1: not call September 11th a terrorist attack. The memo from
- 13:20Speaker 1: their Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust, the memo
- 13:24Speaker 1: said they are to be described as hijackings that led
- 13:29Speaker 1: to passenger jet crashes. Okay, there was a hijacking, but
- 13:34Speaker 1: it was not a When you say a jet crash,
- 13:38Speaker 1: it sounds like it was an accident, an accidentally crash.
- 13:42Speaker 1: These were not accidents. These were deliberate terrorist attacks. So
- 13:45Speaker 1: that is about the lowest in fake news that any
- 13:49Speaker 1: network could ever sink, not calling them terrorist attacks. But
- 13:53Speaker 1: that's the CBC. So don't feel a lot of sympathy
- 13:57Speaker 1: for Canada. Hey, Caroline Levitt stepped down as White House
- 14:03Speaker 1: press secretary yesterday. You know, she's only 29. Yeah, she
- 14:06Speaker 1: was the youngest White House press secretary ever. She's only 29.
- 14:09Speaker 1: She's from New Hampshire originally. Now, she's got a standing
- 14:13Speaker 1: offer to be on Fox News. She's got all kinds
- 14:17Speaker 1: of TV offers, radio offers. But she said not going
- 14:21Speaker 1: to do that. She said she really did leave. This
- 14:23Speaker 1: is the first person in history, by the way. You know,
- 14:25Speaker 1: they always say I'm leaving to spend more time with
- 14:27Speaker 1: my family. This is the first person in history who's
- 14:30Speaker 1: actually telling the truth. She's got a two-year-old and she
- 14:34Speaker 1: just had a baby who's four months now. And she
- 14:37Speaker 1: really wants to spend time with her kids. She's married
- 14:40Speaker 1: to a wealthy guy. She's married to, he's older, I
- 14:45Speaker 1: think 25 years older, but good guy. And she wants
- 14:48Speaker 1: to be with her children. She wants to raise her children.
- 14:51Speaker 1: She's been invited by The View to be a guest.
- 14:55Speaker 1: The View never allows any Republicans to or conservatives, no
- 14:59Speaker 1: Trump people ever allowed on The View. This is a
- 15:01Speaker 1: rare exception. Now, this could be because the administration has
- 15:06Speaker 1: been coming after fake news and talking about the FCC
- 15:10Speaker 1: going after them. So maybe The View has been ordered
- 15:13Speaker 1: to try to put a little balance, just a drop
- 15:16Speaker 1: of balance in there. So maybe that's why they've invited
- 15:18Speaker 1: her on there. I doubt if she'll do it. I mean,
- 15:22Speaker 1: why do it? If you're going to go do a
- 15:23Speaker 1: TV show, At least go on a classy highbrow show,
- 15:27Speaker 1: not the low IQ show with those old crows, those
- 15:30Speaker 1: clucking hens sitting there. Hey, we'll take some calls next.
- 15:35Speaker 1: 800-321-0710 is the number. We'll take some calls next. If
- 15:39Speaker 1: you haven't called before, we love new callers.
- 15:41Speaker 3: 800-321-0710.
