  OK, so today's Monday, we are going to talk about the Texas

  race, but I just want to recognize what a great man you

  are. A lot of your fans are like,

  what's David Reagan up to? I know, but tell everybody what

  you've been up to. So I feel like I've got the best

  job in the world. I'm a I'm a.

  A full time husband and father, but I get to work for Ford

  Performance, Ford Racing. I drive their test car, I do

  some simulator development. I help the Truck Series guys a

  little bit. So still involved in the world

  of racing, but I don't have that stress and pressure that those
• 1:29
  full time Cup drivers have every single weekend.

  Get to the track and I don't have anybody hollering at me on
• 1:35
  a Monday morning after a race weekend.

  And people get on me because I brag on people.

  They're like, damn it, you're too nice.

  You brag a lot, but you're a great race car driver.

  I just wanted to say that I recognize your talent at an

  early age. You're only what the holy guys

  turn. 40. He just he just turned 40.

  Everybody he's he's like Freddie Lorenz and the golden boys in

  and he's out just a minute before we get to Texas it this

  SIM. Do you work the SIM for Roush?

  Tell us a little bit about this SIM.

  Yeah, the. The simulator technology in that

  world has has greatly improved over the last five to six years.

  You know, that's a, a tool that almost every single Cup team

  uses on a weekly basis. And it not only trains the

  drivers getting ready for new race tracks or maybe tracks they
• 2:28
  don't run well at, but it it trains the the engineers and the
• 2:33
  crew chiefs and it gives them an option to try different things
• 2:38
  and work through different things.

  We have a limited amount of track time that these teams get
• 2:42
  today so they can go to a simulator and run through a.

  Lot, I see a lot of these young drivers, like I know he's with
• 2:49
  the other team Chevrolet, but they're up to Speedway quicker
• 2:52
  than you are. Yeah, for sure.

  Well, they get to make thousands of laps before they even get
• 2:56
  there. But part of of my job and the
• 2:59
  group that I work with, we want to make sure those simulator
• 3:01
  tools are accurate, that the the car models, the tire models, all
• 3:06
  the mapping that's done is actually similar to what the car
• 3:09
  is on the on the racetrack. Yeah, I why don't I see real

  pictures of simulators there by trying to hide what they got?

  Yeah, every manufacturer has a little different flavor for kind

  of some of the tools, some of the software.

  So, you know, they might show something simple, but you know,

  everybody thinks they've got a little advantage and they want

  to hold on to it. OK, you ready to have fun?

  cameras these days and stuff. So if you got a little bit of

  to have a cakewalk all year. It's going to ebb and flow.

  it's hot out. This is when Tony Stewart would

  when it would get hot out. That's just my take.

  We saw something happened that it could happen to all of us.

  Nemechek and wrecked ourselves. And boy, they they got into a

  We got the spotters, Schrader calls bulls, he says.

  that Kyle made a mistake and and then he he doubled down when he

  drove into Turn 3 and and really wrecked John Hunter.

  And, you know, and Kyle Busch, one of the greatest race car

  drivers of all time. It it's sad when somebody's so

  great and we forget so quick. I look at all these great race

  car drivers. I mean, Matt Kenseth, one of the

  greatest of all time. When you look at Matt's stats,

  you're like, Oh my God. And I'm sitting here looking at

  Kyle Busch, one of the greatest of all time, and here he is now,

  you know, struggling like we're not used to him doing.

  Yeah, and I think it happens. To competition.

  To a lot of people. But that just shows you how

  great they were at one time, you know, winning, you know, 8 or 10

  Bush races in a year. 100. Six or eight Cup races in a

  year, 10 truck races. He he would win 30 races a year,

  you know, for for a period of time.

  But Kyle's still a great driver. He just they haven't, they

  haven't got it all put together. Last but not least, everybody,

  we hit the 8 minute mark and that's what my Charlie model
