Dallas ISD Officer Shot While Helping Crisis Caller | Texas News
Dallas ISD police officer Justin Jones, a 39-year veteran with 16 years of service, was shot in the leg while helping a person in crisis off the LBJ Freeway and into a Sam’s Club parking lot. Another officer quickly applied a tourniquet, and Jones was rushed to Parkland Hospital in critical condition. After emergency surgery, he’s now in stable condition.
