- 0:27Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 0:27Speaker 8: When I look Into your eyes, it comes as no surprise.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You're slipping away.
- 0:35Speaker 8: Angel, you're the love of my life.
- 0:45Speaker 9: The following feature has been rated R by the Motion
- 0:48Speaker 9: Picture Association of America. It is intended for mature audiences
- 0:53Speaker 9: and parental discretion is advised.
- 0:54Speaker 10: Our nuclear reactor pumping out one million kilowatts of power.
- 1:25Speaker 10: What's up and welcome to Movie.
- 1:27Speaker 11: Meltdown, I'm Brian.
- 1:27Speaker 12: My name is Misty.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I'm Jay.
- 1:30Speaker 12: I'm Marlena.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Oh, and we're... traumatized by this week's movie. So obviously
- 1:55Speaker 4: we're a little off, but you understand. You know what
- 1:58Speaker 4: we're watching. We are coming to you live once again
- 2:01Speaker 4: via digital recording from the bastion of awesomeness. That would
- 2:05Speaker 4: be Misty and Jay's house.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Soon to be the bastion of sleepiness.
- 2:09Speaker 4: We're working on it. First, we have crazy stories to tell.
- 2:16Speaker 4: We'll start with you.
- 2:18Speaker 7: So there's this morbidly obese guy that comes into my
- 2:21Speaker 7: work sometimes. Sweet guy. Super into Dungeons and Dragons. Always
- 2:25Speaker 7: has his Magic the Gathering cards on him. And he's
- 2:28Speaker 7: like in a bariatric cover round. He's narcoleptic. Which is
- 2:33Speaker 7: really awkward. If you're trying to wait on someone and
- 2:36Speaker 7: they fall asleep like mid-bite. Or mid-taking their orders.
- 2:42Speaker 4: So they're worse than me, because I just go to
- 2:43Speaker 4: sleep when, like, driving and walking and stuff like that.
- 2:46Speaker 7: He can be like, I'll have a Coke and a.
- 2:50Speaker 4: I'm getting there.
- 2:51Speaker 7: It's really awkward. And you're just like, what do I do?
- 2:54Speaker 7: Do I wake him up? Do I, like, walk away
- 2:56Speaker 7: slowly and not wake him up?
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 7: But he was like, okay, I work in a restaurant.
- 3:02Speaker 7: I think you all know that by this point. But,
- 3:05Speaker 7: so he, like, ordered a pizza. Yeah. And he was
- 3:09Speaker 7: doing okay. And he was awake. And he was eating
- 3:11Speaker 7: his pizza. And then all of a sudden he's out.
- 3:14Speaker 7: And he falls. And he's like. I mean he's a
- 3:16Speaker 7: big guy. So he like rests his head. And it's
- 3:18Speaker 7: like his body is like. It's not yours.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's like a big old man movie. Yeah.
- 3:22Speaker 7: But his arm is like in his pizza like this.
- 3:27Speaker 7: And he starts. I'm busy. And he starts snoring really loud.
- 3:30Speaker 7: And farts. And it was so awkward. And everyone's just like.
- 3:35Speaker 7: So I had to wake him up. And I'm like,
- 3:38Speaker 7: are you doing okay? And he's like, oh, I don't
- 3:41Speaker 7: know what happened. I have allergies. That's why. He's like
- 3:47Speaker 7: totally narcoleptic. But he was like, I have allergies. I
- 3:50Speaker 7: don't know why I'm sleepy. And I'm just like, narcolepsy, dude.
- 3:54Speaker 7: It's a condition. You can Google it.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Allergies equals sleepy. Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 7: Maybe allergy medicine, but it still doesn't randomly make you
- 4:02Speaker 7: fall asleep mid-conversation.
- 4:04Speaker 13: So, yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 7: But it's really weird. But he tried to come. We
- 4:07Speaker 7: were cleaning. He tried to come in today. And he, like,
- 4:10Speaker 7: gets to the door and he reads this sign. And
- 4:12Speaker 7: he fell asleep. But he was there for, like, half
- 4:14Speaker 7: an hour. Just asleep. And we're like, should we go
- 4:17Speaker 7: out there and tell him?
- 4:19Speaker 12: Nah.
- 4:20Speaker 7: And everyone's like, I don't have a key. So the
- 4:23Speaker 7: front door was locked. So we just, like, left in
- 4:25Speaker 7: there because we're terrible people. But, I mean, I worry
- 4:28Speaker 7: about the guy because he's constantly in that hover ground.
- 4:31Speaker 7: What if he falls asleep when he's crossing the street?
- 4:35Speaker 7: You know? It's like, it's still a vehicle.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I'm sure it could easily.
- 4:41Speaker 7: He sometimes, like, gets out. I mean, he can walk.
- 4:43Speaker 7: He's just so big, I think he doesn't. Also, the
- 4:45Speaker 7: narcolepsy thing is probably a problem.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I would think, yeah.
- 4:48Speaker 7: But, you know, one of my coworkers was telling me
- 4:50Speaker 7: that she's seen him walk, and he was, like, leaning
- 4:53Speaker 7: against the wall smoking a cigarette and just fell asleep.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Fire hazard. Yeah. Playing in traffic while he's asleep. There's
- 5:02Speaker 4: many ways this could end badly.
- 5:05Speaker 7: It's probably the most interesting. We've banned a lot of
- 5:07Speaker 7: the crazy people from my work lately. And he's not
- 5:12Speaker 7: bad or rude or crazy. He's just narcoleptic and it's
- 5:15Speaker 7: really awkward for everybody. But I don't think it's politically
- 5:19Speaker 7: correct to kick someone out for having a medical condition.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Get out of here, you cripple!
- 5:24Speaker 7: Don't you come back! We don't want your kind here!
- 5:26Speaker 4: Although I have.
- 5:27Speaker 7: Been kicked out of a bar for sleeping in it once.
- 5:30Speaker 7: It's apparently illegal.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Then you're just a vagrant.
- 5:33Speaker 7: I was in a bakery, but it's apparently illegal to
- 5:35Speaker 7: sleep in a bar.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Get a job.
- 5:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I was like, fuck you, I'm tired. I wasn't drunk,
- 5:42Speaker 7: I was just tired.
- 5:43Speaker 4: This is why I don't go anywhere.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I think I got in trouble at a nightclub in
- 5:47Speaker 2: Chicago one time. I hurt my knee skateboarding, and I
- 5:52Speaker 2: had my leg propped up on a chair, and the
- 5:54Speaker 2: bouncer came by and started screaming at me to get
- 5:56Speaker 2: my foot off the chair. Because I wasn't up dancing,
- 6:00Speaker 2: and I was like, dude, I can't dance because I hurt.
- 6:02Speaker 11: My knee really bad.
- 6:03Speaker 7: And because you don't dance.
- 6:04Speaker 2: And I don't dance. And he about kicked me out
- 6:08Speaker 2: of the damn club. But luckily, some of my friends
- 6:12Speaker 2: were there dancing, and they were just like, yo, leave him.
- 6:14Speaker 11: Alone, man.
- 6:15Speaker 4: So it was fun.
- 6:16Speaker 1: We got kicked out of the Dogs and Suds once.
- 6:21Speaker 4: That's because you were sitting on the tape.
- 6:23Speaker 1: We were all sitting on the tables. Me and Sammy
- 6:27Speaker 1: and you and Dawn and Tara were all sitting on
- 6:30Speaker 1: the tables. It was in Indianapolis.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Pretty much.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And we went with the dog and suds. And then
- 6:36Speaker 1: we were kicked out because we were sitting on their
- 6:38Speaker 1: table inappropriately.
- 6:40Speaker 4: I mean, it wasn't like any... Where's the dogs and suds?
- 6:44Speaker 4: I guess it's still there.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Okay, I think I remember that.
- 6:47Speaker 4: It was a chain, though. It was a pretty big chain.
- 6:49Speaker 1: And good root beer.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Unfortunately, there's one out on Dixie Highway and all it
- 6:52Speaker 2: is is a car wash.
- 6:55Speaker 4: That's not dogs or suds.
- 6:57Speaker 12: I know.
- 6:57Speaker 4: There's soap, I guess.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It has the same logo.
- 7:01Speaker 4: It's not root beer. That was the suds they were
- 7:03Speaker 4: talking about.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I know.
- 7:04Speaker 4: That's what I don't understand.
- 7:05Speaker 1: It was not dogs or root beer, wasn't it?
- 7:06Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 7: That would be the dogs and suds I would have seen.
- 7:08Speaker 1: You know, but now they have a car wash.
- 7:10Speaker 4: That's not the same.
- 7:11Speaker 7: Can you also wash your dog? Because then the dog
- 7:13Speaker 7: part is kind of irrelevant.
- 7:14Speaker 14: I don't know.
- 7:15Speaker 4: If you wash your dog and Get the soap in
- 7:18Speaker 4: his mouth, does he have foamy mouth? Mad dog! Mad dog,
- 7:22Speaker 4: mad dog, mad dog!
- 7:26Speaker 7: That's what happens.
- 7:29Speaker 4: I think that's totally the intro to our show.
- 7:31Speaker 1: That's lame.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Do we have anything better?
- 7:35Speaker 1: No, I don't have anything better. I don't have customers
- 7:40Speaker 1: where I work, so I don't have any good stories.
- 7:43Speaker 1: All we have is a guy who stole 33 phones
- 7:45Speaker 1: and a girl who fucks guys out in the parking lot.
- 7:47Speaker 7: Oh, what's her name?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Judy.
- 7:50Speaker 4: How's that going? What were they doing exactly?
- 7:55Speaker 7: A guy stole 33 phones from your work? People just
- 8:00Speaker 7: leaving their phone laying around?
- 8:01Speaker 1: No, breaking open packages and taking phones.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Stealing iPhones. How do you steal iPhones out of your.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Judy.
- 8:08Speaker 2: You gotta go through a metal detector. That's what I
- 8:11Speaker 2: want to know.
- 8:11Speaker 1: He put them in his shoes.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I'm sure he did.
- 8:15Speaker 7: I mean, I guess he got away with it a
- 8:17Speaker 7: few times, but.
- 8:18Speaker 1: He only got caught because somebody else got caught and
- 8:21Speaker 1: ratted him out.
- 8:22Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Who is equally as bad at doing it.
- 8:25Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Because they lied to him and said, we got you
- 8:28Speaker 1: on camera. Yeah. We got you on camera stealing that phone.
- 8:30Speaker 1: They just randomly guessed it was this guy. And they
- 8:33Speaker 1: were like, we got you on camera. He's like, oh, okay.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Well, that first guy only stole like a couple phones, right?
- 8:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And so... The other guy was fairly successful at it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: He had stolen 33 phones. I forgot how many thousands
- 8:48Speaker 2: of dollars I think he had stolen.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Like $ 10, 000 almost.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Something like that.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I don't remember.
- 8:54Speaker 1: This isn't a better story at all.
- 8:56Speaker 4: No, not really.
- 8:57Speaker 2: But, I mean, you got the guy that, like, okay,
- 9:00Speaker 2: if you're a mastermind at stealing pretty much, which, okay,
- 9:03Speaker 2: maybe he wasn't a mastermind, but he was fairly successful.
- 9:07Speaker 2: He went and told some other dipshit how to fucking
- 9:09Speaker 2: do it. You don't go around telling other people how
- 9:11Speaker 2: you do shit.
- 9:12Speaker 4: That's how you get caught. Because you know.
- 9:14Speaker 2: They're going to get caught and they're going to write
- 9:15Speaker 2: you out.
- 9:16Speaker 4: And that's what happened. I don't want to get caught.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Maybe it was all just a plan.
- 9:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Keep the shit to yourself.
- 9:21Speaker 4: You never trust anybody. It's a cry for help. He
- 9:24Speaker 4: really wanted to get caught.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Well, whatever.
- 9:27Speaker 4: We're fucked in the parking lot. So how did that
- 9:29Speaker 4: go again?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Oh, he did. He was one of the ones.
- 9:32Speaker 4: He was one of the ones.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Mission accomplished.
- 9:36Speaker 7: So he told on the girl who fucks guys in
- 9:37Speaker 7: the parking lot just.
- 9:38Speaker 1: What?
- 9:39Speaker 4: Wait, I'm confused.
- 9:40Speaker 12: What?
- 9:42Speaker 7: This is a very twisted story. What about people fucking
- 9:44Speaker 7: in the parking lot?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Okay, the guy who stole 33 phones and had sex
- 9:47Speaker 1: with the girl who had... Who fucks guys in the
- 9:50Speaker 1: parking lot.
- 9:50Speaker 7: So she fucks, like, all the guys?
- 9:52Speaker 1: There's only been at least several that I've heard of.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Is this, like, recreational or professional?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Recreational. She wants to give him a try.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Okay. Trying to decide which she is.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Desperate.
- 10:05Speaker 4: She's a hoe but not a whore?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a slut.
- 10:09Speaker 4: She's a slut. Even better.
- 10:11Speaker 7: She's a Judy.
- 10:12Speaker 4: She's a total Judy.
- 10:14Speaker 7: Don't be a Judy.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Kids, if there's one thing you take from this episode,
- 10:18Speaker 4: don't be a Judy.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I got my hair in a sideways ponytail.
- 10:23Speaker 7: Missy's being a little judy.
- 10:26Speaker 1: But just in the bitchy way.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Not in the slutty whore way.
- 10:30Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 10:31Speaker 4: And you don't have that face going on.
- 10:33Speaker 7: Yeah. I'm gonna something, something, blah, blah, blah. That's what
- 10:40Speaker 7: she talks like.
- 10:42Speaker 14: Oh, Paul.
- 10:43Speaker 1: No, your face didn't move quite right.
- 10:46Speaker 4: She didn't contort it right.
- 10:47Speaker 6: I can't do it.
- 10:48Speaker 7: It makes her face look.
- 10:49Speaker 1: That's the only movie that bitch has ever done.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Because she's awful.
- 10:53Speaker 1: She is.
- 10:55Speaker 4: All right, we're getting out of here.
- 10:56Speaker 1: All right, let's start with the movie talkings.
- 10:58Speaker 4: We'll take our break, and then we'll get back into
- 11:01Speaker 4: the traumatizing movie of the week.
- 11:04Speaker 1: You can cut out the part about the girl sleeping
- 11:07Speaker 1: with guys in the parking lot.
- 11:08Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I like that part. It's not like she's going to
- 11:11Speaker 2: listen to the part.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I'm assuming... You won't get in trouble for sharing any
- 11:14Speaker 4: of these stories, right?
- 11:16Speaker 1: You can edit her name out if you need to.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Did you say her name?
- 11:19Speaker 11: Judy.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I won't believe her.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Yeah. Even funnier now. Why don't we just put the
- 11:26Speaker 4: name Judy in there?
- 11:27Speaker 8: Judy.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Just have somebody else say, like, Judy. So there's this girl,
- 11:33Speaker 2: and she fucks guys in the parking lot.
- 11:35Speaker 4: What's her name?
- 11:35Speaker 7: Judy.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I like it.
- 11:37Speaker 7: I want to go to the away game so I
- 11:38Speaker 7: can meet the friends.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Even though I may not be just what others think
- 11:44Speaker 6: they see.
- 11:45Speaker 10: Practice down below my.
- 11:46Speaker 8: Belt, but no one needs to know.
- 11:48Speaker 10: I look the part, I play it well.
- 11:51Speaker 8: Everyone should go.
- 11:52Speaker 12: To hell first.
- 11:54Speaker 8: Sleep away, gamble I want to go sleep away, gamble
- 11:58Speaker 8: So I can.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Meet a boy Ricky's such a nice young man But
- 12:05Speaker 5: I don't think he'll understand Even though he's trying to
- 12:12Speaker 5: be Anxiously lost.
- 12:13Speaker 12: Upon Think I'm intellectual I'm just a transsexual Oh Sleep away.
- 12:17Speaker 16: Gamble Sleep away, gamble.
- 12:27Speaker 9: Looks like there's been a slight disagreement between friends. Well,
- 12:30Speaker 9: here's a surefire way to patch things up. Just take
- 12:33Speaker 9: two big, juicy, all-meat wieners. Wrap them in oven-fresh buns.
- 12:38Speaker 9: Add ketchup, mustard, relish, and let's see. Here's one happy fella,
- 12:43Speaker 9: and here's another. Yes, sir, everybody agrees that the hot
- 12:46Speaker 9: dogs you find at our refreshment center are the best.
- 12:49Speaker 9: Buy one for everybody. You'll agree they're delicious.
- 12:56Speaker 10: Not since Scarface, so much action. Not since the Marx Brothers,
- 13:01Speaker 10: so much comedy. Not since the seven-year itch, so much Maryland.
- 13:08Speaker 10: The best picture this year will also be the funniest.
- 13:14Speaker 10: Good night, sugar.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Good night, honey.
- 13:21Speaker 10: There's one thing sure, boy never met girl like this before.
- 13:26Speaker 10: You've never laughed more at sex or a picture about it.
- 13:30Speaker 4: You stay here as long as you like.
- 13:35Speaker 10: Jack may have beaten Tony to the sugar, but not
- 13:38Speaker 10: for long.
- 13:39Speaker 11: You're not giving yourself a chance.
- 13:42Speaker 8: Don't fight it. Relax.
- 13:49Speaker 10: Hear Marilyn sing the fabulous songs of the Roaring Twenties
- 13:53Speaker 10: on the United Artists soundtrack album.
- 13:56Speaker 14: Running wild, lost control.
- 13:58Speaker 7: Running wild, mighty bold.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Feeling gay, reckless too.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Carefree mind all the time, never blue.
- 14:08Speaker 17: Always going, don't know where.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Always showing, I don't care.
- 14:15Speaker 8: Don't love nobody It's not worthwhile.
- 14:23Speaker 7: All alone.

- 16:40Speaker 17: Welcome to Sleepaway Camp. Someone is watching you. Someone is
- 16:53Speaker 17: waiting for you. Someone wants to scare you to death.
- 17:04Speaker 12: Turn it! Turn the wheel! Oh, my God!
- 17:13Speaker 17: Sleepaway camp. You won't be coming home.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Oh, no, absolutely not.
- 17:27Speaker 1: A little girl would be so much nicer, don't you
- 17:31Speaker 1: think so, Angela?
- 17:32Speaker 7: Oh, she's really a boy.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Such a lovely name.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Why, I believe it means angel.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Why, yes, I'm sure it does.
- 17:43Speaker 7: I know you're going to like that name.
- 17:44Speaker 12: Won't you please?
- 17:46Speaker 7: What is going on there?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Fuck.
- 17:59Speaker 4: What the fuck?
- 18:03Speaker 7: And also a monster of some sort? What is going on?
- 18:05Speaker 7: I'm so confused. She looks like not human. That's really
- 18:10Speaker 7: actually scary. Why is she turning green?
- 18:23Speaker 4: What's going.
- 18:30Speaker 16: On?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Okay, you've just witnessed the horror. How do you feel
- 18:34Speaker 4: about it?
- 18:37Speaker 1: I feel dirty.
- 18:39Speaker 7: I feel like I need to take a shower and
- 18:44Speaker 7: stay away from children's playgrounds. Like, I don't know. That
- 18:47Speaker 7: movie was just wrong.
- 18:48Speaker 4: On a lot of levels. But do you want to
- 18:51Speaker 4: go for a swim down by the water after the social?
- 18:54Speaker 7: No, I'm just really glad I don't live on the
- 18:55Speaker 7: river anymore because I'm afraid of water now.
- 18:59Speaker 11: And her face.
- 19:01Speaker 7: Yeah, that face. That was the scariest part of the
- 19:04Speaker 7: whole movie.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I know, that was what makes the movie great.
- 19:06Speaker 7: And then the tiny, young boy penis, full frontal male
- 19:10Speaker 7: nudity of a child was disturbing.
- 19:13Speaker 4: And the sound coming out of it. It's mouth.
- 19:18Speaker 1: That face alone rivals the Donald Sutherland face.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Yeah, it's about the only thing that's close.
- 19:25Speaker 7: That's the thing that Japanese horror movies strive for, is
- 19:29Speaker 7: that level of, just make it go away. But yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 7: that was like a, it was a little too keto
- 19:37Speaker 7: for me. That whole... thing was extremely pedo like that
- 19:41Speaker 7: was like the theme of the movie sex predators it
- 19:47Speaker 7: was weird it was a weird movie It wasn't a
- 19:51Speaker 7: bad movie, but it was like.
- 19:53Speaker 1: It could have been edited in some places.
- 19:56Speaker 7: The baseball scene. The whole entire baseball scene.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Okay, we can get to that part. We've got the
- 20:00Speaker 4: trauma out of the way.
- 20:01Speaker 11: We can go do a regular version.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Yeah. I just wanted to get the initials. Shock and
- 20:09Speaker 4: awe and horrors.
- 20:12Speaker 6: Man, oh man, have you seen Judy? A disembarker that
- 20:20Speaker 6: I loved in the woods.
- 20:23Speaker 4: She's a chick, works.
- 20:25Speaker 8: With the dick.
- 20:27Speaker 6: Kill the teens, makes one handle it. It's a teenage
- 20:46Speaker 6: west end of life. It's a simple welcome to life.
- 20:51Speaker 6: And everything's gonna be alright. Unhappy campers, desk on deck.
- 21:05Speaker 6: This is what you're being full of, babe.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Psychosexual, acting a fool. Angel of Death's gonna take you
- 21:14Speaker 4: to school. Pussy drugs are all it makes.
- 21:19Speaker 7: Mr.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Rapper says, fuck that shit. Angela, your nipples are burnt.
- 21:25Speaker 6: Rick Morales has the pubic hair.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Ah!
- 21:34Speaker 6: It's a teenage wassail of love It's a simple one,
- 21:39Speaker 6: come to love And everything's gonna be alright It's a
- 21:45Speaker 6: simple one, come to love It's a teenage wassail of
- 21:50Speaker 6: love It's a simple one, come to love And everything's
- 21:55Speaker 6: gonna be alright.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Alright, welcome back to Movie Meltdown Sofa Theater. This week's
- 22:10Speaker 4: more-to-fine sofa theater feature is Sleepaway Camp. The year is 1983.
- 22:17Speaker 4: The director, Robert Hiltzik. Oh, and the plot, according to IMDb.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Slightly disturbed and painfully shy, Angela Baker is sent away
- 22:29Speaker 4: to summer camp with her cousin. Not long after Angela's arrival,
- 22:33Speaker 4: things start to go horribly wrong for anyone with sinister
- 22:36Speaker 4: or less than honorable intentions. Oddly put. But all right.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Not too far off. Super major spoiler alert. This one
- 22:46Speaker 4: is one of those. Once you've seen it, there's no
- 22:49Speaker 4: unseeing it, but you can't hear us.
- 22:51Speaker 11: Talk about it or it ruins everything. Yeah.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Stop right now if you haven't seen Sleepaway Camp. Go
- 22:56Speaker 4: watch it. You owe it to yourself to traumatize yourself
- 22:59Speaker 4: in your own special way. And before we get to ours,
- 23:03Speaker 4: we did, if you remember, we talked to the stars
- 23:07Speaker 4: of this movie. So we have our own little one
- 23:10Speaker 4: from the vault session. Alright, so we talked to Phyllisa
- 23:15Speaker 4: Rose and Jonathan Tiersten and they, I don't know what
- 23:19Speaker 4: was going on with them. I mean, you kind of
- 23:22Speaker 4: hear it that top of the show there they're a
- 23:23Speaker 4: little goofy but you'll hear more as they go into
- 23:26Speaker 4: this they they were they were i don't know what
- 23:28Speaker 4: they were on that day they they might have just
- 23:30Speaker 4: been high on life i don't know but.
- 23:31Speaker 2: It was the jonathan again the other the cousin the
- 23:35Speaker 2: cousin okay ricky ricky.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Jonathan who's who's slightly cracked out in this interview so oh.
- 23:43Speaker 18: And the last answer is it tastes like chicken.
- 23:47Speaker 5: She's had to deal with this for 30 years now.
- 23:49Speaker 4: That's a lot to deal with.
- 23:51Speaker 3: That's why I went all gray.
- 23:53Speaker 4: And ask her if it ever stops. It doesn't.
- 23:56Speaker 12: Good luck.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Good luck. Ongoing.
- 23:57Speaker 14: Fire away.
- 23:58Speaker 12: Are we done yet?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Oh.
- 24:01Speaker 4: So, yeah, just kind of.
- 24:02Speaker 5: She has a restraining order.
- 24:04Speaker 4: I don't blame you.
- 24:06Speaker 13: We've got somebody on the show who's actually never seen
- 24:09Speaker 13: the movie, so we're going to sort of unleash it
- 24:11Speaker 13: on them soon.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Okay, so we want spoilers.
- 24:15Speaker 13: Oh, you can, I mean, again, after the fact, once
- 24:17Speaker 13: it goes out on the show.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Are you bringing a psychoanalyst?
- 24:20Speaker 4: I think we need to, actually.
- 24:21Speaker 2: That's a good idea.
- 24:23Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Oh, hi, I'm Phyllisa Rose from Sleepaway Camp, and I'm
- 24:26Speaker 3: here with my lovable sidekick.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Chevy Chase.
- 24:29Speaker 1: He's not lovable, I'm sorry.
- 24:33Speaker 16: Ernie Hudson.
- 24:33Speaker 4: He's so unlovable.
- 24:34Speaker 9: Ernie Hudson.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Toulouse-Lautrec.
- 24:36Speaker 3: He's very lovable.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Mahatma Gandhi. Jonathan Tiersten.
- 24:39Speaker 14: Whatever.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yeah, his name is Jonathan Tiersten.
- 24:41Speaker 3: And we wanted to talk about the work we did
- 24:45Speaker 3: on the fabulous LeapAway cam.
- 24:49Speaker 12: Woohoo!
- 24:50Speaker 3: All right, so all you girls and boys out there.
- 24:53Speaker 12: All righty then.
- 24:53Speaker 3: It was Jonathan's penis that we used.
- 24:56Speaker 4: It was not my penis.
- 24:57Speaker 5: I am much more well endowed than that.
- 24:59Speaker 2: That's ridiculous.
- 25:01Speaker 5: No spoilers here, Melissa.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Stop talking about my penis.
- 25:04Speaker 17: Spoil it.
- 25:06Speaker 4: You'll spoil it for all those.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Women out there.
- 25:07Speaker 3: We had so much fun making this little ditty. And
- 25:12Speaker 3: it just is amazing that it's carried for so long.
- 25:15Speaker 14: 30 years.
- 25:16Speaker 4: This is crazy. Almost 30 years.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Even though I'm only 31, it's, like, incredible.
- 25:20Speaker 11: That's a good trick.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Yeah. It's my only trick.
- 25:25Speaker 7: Now, we really had a blast making it.
- 25:27Speaker 3: You know, it was a lot of kids going to camp.
- 25:30Speaker 3: We really filmed that, and we didn't realize it was
- 25:32Speaker 3: going to be such a crazy flick, but the ending
- 25:37Speaker 3: turned out to be one of our really strange twist endings.
- 25:40Speaker 9: Definitely.
- 25:41Speaker 5: It is, you know, my weirdest moment at any convention
- 25:45Speaker 5: is when John Landis walked up to me and said,
- 25:48Speaker 5: it's an iconic film, and I just started laughing.
- 25:51Speaker 4: That's a cool story.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Yeah, and I looked at him and I said, Animal
- 25:54Speaker 5: House is an iconic film. The Blues Brothers is an
- 25:56Speaker 5: iconic film. I said, hell, maybe American Werewolf Fun.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Is an iconic film.
- 25:59Speaker 5: I said, Sleepaway Camp, iconic film. I'm just not putting
- 26:03Speaker 5: it together, buddy.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I'm just not seeing it.
- 26:05Speaker 4: But we'll take it. We'll take it.
- 26:06Speaker 3: We'll take it.
- 26:07Speaker 13: In the horror world, it's one that hadn't quite made
- 26:10Speaker 13: it to mainstream, and I think we found out why
- 26:12Speaker 13: as time goes on. I don't know if mainstream can
- 26:14Speaker 13: handle that movie.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know if it would have passed the
- 26:16Speaker 5: censors now.
- 26:17Speaker 3: You know, it's funny that you say that, because I
- 26:18Speaker 3: think we are like the stepchildren of the horror genre.
- 26:21Speaker 3: It's like, you know, it's definitely big with certain groups
- 26:29Speaker 3: of people, let's say, and People embrace it, but we're
- 26:34Speaker 3: certainly coming at it slowly but surely.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it's such an interesting phenomenon because it gets bigger
- 26:40Speaker 5: every year.
- 26:40Speaker 2: The farther out we get, the bigger this movie gets.
- 26:43Speaker 5: I mean, if I had done a convention two years ago,
- 26:45Speaker 5: I could have sat here and heard birds chirping.
- 26:48Speaker 4: And that was not at all the case this weekend.
- 26:50Speaker 4: So it's just every year, it.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Just gains in momentum and we don't even have to
- 26:54Speaker 5: do anything.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Which is great.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's true.
- 26:57Speaker 12: We just show up.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Yeah, the horror world in general has picked up so
- 27:00Speaker 4: much in the last five or six years.
- 27:02Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Well, and it's so much fun to see each generation
- 27:04Speaker 5: watch Sleepaway Camp because, I mean, the majority of our
- 27:06Speaker 5: fans are still the young, I mean, they're 13 to,
- 27:09Speaker 5: you know, 20-something.
- 27:10Speaker 3: And that's how old we are, so we're set perfectly.
- 27:15Speaker 4: Well, at least mentally.
- 27:16Speaker 8: Maturity.
- 27:19Speaker 13: So then I guess once you get to the big ending,
- 27:21Speaker 13: once the movie came out, how did it affect your
- 27:24Speaker 13: life at that point?
- 27:26Speaker 3: No, you know, people were very nervous.
- 27:29Speaker 4: They were scared of me.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:30Speaker 3: So they never fucked with me.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Excuse my language.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Again, feel free to. We cursed constantly.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I don't think it changed my life.
- 27:40Speaker 1: It didn't.
- 27:42Speaker 4: I mean, I went back to school.
- 27:43Speaker 12: I was still a crummy student.
- 27:46Speaker 4: The girls didn't.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Still didn't pay attention.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Still didn't pay attention. I was like BMOC on Sleepaway Camp.
- 27:52Speaker 5: I got back to high school and that was a
- 27:53Speaker 5: rude awakening. But, you know, I mean, we both went
- 27:56Speaker 5: to NYU as acting majors. So, I mean, that was,
- 27:58Speaker 5: you know, that was probably part of it. But, you know,
- 28:02Speaker 5: we went through a very rigorous, you know, program for acting.
- 28:05Speaker 2: It was brutal.
- 28:06Speaker 5: It was. So, I mean, that, you know, and to
- 28:09Speaker 5: be a trained actor, it's awesome. It really does, you know,
- 28:11Speaker 5: implicit on so many films since then.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:14Speaker 3: And now we've done a film together called The Perfect
- 28:16Speaker 3: House that will be launched on Facebook October 1st.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Holy crow.
- 28:21Speaker 13: I wish they would stop doing that.
- 28:23Speaker 4: You never know what's going to happen at this convention.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Clown attack.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Kane Hodder slams his gauntlet and some guy, oh, that
- 28:30Speaker 3: seriously just hurt me.
- 28:31Speaker 4: What's with Kane?
- 28:32Speaker 5: Well, Kane, actually, I'll do it again, that I've threatened
- 28:34Speaker 5: to kill him.
- 28:34Speaker 12: Oh, no, please don't.
- 28:35Speaker 9: There he goes.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I've thrown down with Kane Hodder. You're having a bromance.
- 28:38Speaker 5: I told him he's in the second best camp horror
- 28:40Speaker 5: movie of all time.
- 28:42Speaker 13: I think everybody has a love it, hate it relationship
- 28:44Speaker 13: with Cain.
- 28:44Speaker 4: He's awesome.
- 28:46Speaker 12: We have a Jewish bond.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Is he Jewish? Well, he's converted. He converted for his wife.
- 28:51Speaker 7: Did he?
- 28:52Speaker 4: That's news. I'm breaking news.
- 28:53Speaker 8: Are you serious?
- 28:55Speaker 12: No, I'm dead serious.
- 28:57Speaker 10: Wow.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Hi, I'm Cain.
- 29:00Speaker 4: I have to say Mazel Tov. I think that's all
- 29:03Speaker 4: we had here.
- 29:04Speaker 12: Mazel Tov on landing.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Are we going on a tangent?
- 29:07Speaker 8: Are we on a tangent?
- 29:09Speaker 4: I got to go on break. Sleep away camp.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Sleep away camp.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Wait a minute.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Now John Landis is going to be really mad.
- 29:19Speaker 13: Do you have the music rights for that? Is that
- 29:22Speaker 13: the theme song? I don't think it is.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Thank you both.
- 29:28Speaker 6: I don't know what they were indulging in that day.
- 29:31Speaker 4: I'm assuming they were just getting some beverages from the
- 29:35Speaker 4: bar there. They're very silly. I'll give them that. But
- 29:39Speaker 4: they were very fun and they were very nice to
- 29:42Speaker 4: humor me and my questions. So I do thank them
- 29:45Speaker 4: for talking with us. And they're right. It kind of
- 29:50Speaker 4: has turned into a big deal in its own weird way.
- 29:53Speaker 4: It took it a while before it sort of like
- 29:57Speaker 4: slowly snuck up on people like it seems to do.
- 30:01Speaker 4: you don't see it coming.
- 30:02Speaker 2: It sneaks up on you and then you see it
- 30:04Speaker 2: coming over the head no joke you're like wait a
- 30:07Speaker 2: minute what hold on what just happened you're.
- 30:09Speaker 7: Like I didn't see that coming I'm just confused.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And then you see it yeah how long ago did
- 30:13Speaker 2: we see it how long ago did you make me.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Watch it it's probably been like two or three years two.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Or three years and even at the very end part
- 30:19Speaker 2: I still wasn't really figuring out what was going on
- 30:22Speaker 2: until it finally happened and I was like whoa.
- 30:24Speaker 15: What the fuck you gotta be fucking kidding me what
- 30:27Speaker 15: rewind that.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Yeah you just want to see that drunk again I
- 30:31Speaker 4: was confused. I think everyone's confused when it comes to
- 30:34Speaker 4: this movie.
- 30:35Speaker 7: It's really just shocking. It really has no, like, I
- 30:37Speaker 7: feel like it's not extremely conducive to the plot, honestly.
- 30:40Speaker 7: I guess maybe that would just, like, fuck you up
- 30:42Speaker 7: a lot.
- 30:43Speaker 4: I think it was funny watching it this time. I
- 30:46Speaker 4: was kind of watching what they're doing because it's like
- 30:49Speaker 4: they kind of, like, it's the double fake out. It's
- 30:52Speaker 4: like they're totally setting it up like it's Angela. Because
- 30:55Speaker 4: everybody that messes with her ends up dead. So it
- 30:58Speaker 4: would very logically be, well, Angela's pissed off and killing him.
- 31:01Speaker 4: And she's kind of crazy. I mean, even at the beginning,
- 31:03Speaker 4: she's a little weird. So, you know, that's okay. But
- 31:07Speaker 4: then it's like, all right, but that's too easy. Obviously,
- 31:10Speaker 4: it's not going to be Angela. So it would make
- 31:12Speaker 4: sense that it's her cousin because he's protective of her.
- 31:15Speaker 4: And so then they start setting it up like it's that.
- 31:17Speaker 4: But then they're also making that seem like very obvious.
- 31:20Speaker 4: And then you never see the penis coming. So they
- 31:23Speaker 4: totally reverse it around. Spoiler alert.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because I thought I had it figured out.
- 31:29Speaker 1: What did you think was going on?
- 31:30Speaker 2: Well, I thought Angela killed her. I was like you,
- 31:32Speaker 2: the same thing. I was like, Angela's got to know
- 31:34Speaker 2: she's a killer. And then I was like, no, well,
- 31:36Speaker 2: maybe it's a cousin. Maybe it's a cousin. And then
- 31:37Speaker 2: I was like, wait, no, no, it's her. It's her.
- 31:39Speaker 4: It's her. Yes, I knew it was her.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Penis?
- 31:41Speaker 4: What the fuck?
- 31:42Speaker 12: What the hell is that?
- 31:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I didn't see that coming.
- 31:45Speaker 4: What the fuck's up with that face?
- 31:46Speaker 7: That face was like... Oh, that face. I don't... The ink...
- 31:50Speaker 7: I don't know if we should just skip to the end.
- 31:52Speaker 4: We can put the end off until the end. So
- 31:54Speaker 4: let's go back to the beginning here. But I was
- 31:57Speaker 4: noticing how much they were setting that up.
- 31:59Speaker 2: It was.
- 31:59Speaker 4: At the same time, they were really dropping the hints
- 32:03Speaker 4: with the shower comments. And it's like, so when you
- 32:07Speaker 4: go back and watch it, you're like, oh, well, it's.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Kind of obvious. Now I pick it up. But when
- 32:11Speaker 2: you're watching it, you're just watching it for a pure
- 32:14Speaker 2: camp slasher movie.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Yeah, which is what it seemed like it was. It
- 32:19Speaker 4: seemed like it was a bad, cheesy camp movie.
- 32:21Speaker 2: You get all the way to the end, and you
- 32:22Speaker 2: think you've got it figured out, and then that penis
- 32:24Speaker 2: comes out of nowhere and blindsides you.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Because, yeah, there are a lot of hints. Because at
- 32:29Speaker 1: the very, very beginning when the mom is getting the.
- 32:32Speaker 4: What is it?
- 32:33Speaker 2: The medical forms.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 2: The physicals.
- 32:36Speaker 4: That she took care of.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 2: That she's the doctor.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Why did mom have to take care of this?
- 32:42Speaker 7: And the gay dad thing and the scene where the
- 32:46Speaker 7: kids were, like, sitting.
- 32:48Speaker 8: On the bed.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that didn't make any sense.
- 32:51Speaker 2: That didn't make any sense for me either. Yeah, I
- 32:53Speaker 2: was just kind of like, what?
- 32:54Speaker 7: That was just one of the parts where I was like,
- 32:55Speaker 7: this movie is so pedocentric. I just made that word up.
- 33:00Speaker 4: It's fine if they're both kids.
- 33:02Speaker 8: No, it isn't.
- 33:03Speaker 7: Because they're related somehow.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I guess I had to bring the gay dad in
- 33:09Speaker 1: because she was really a guy. I don't know.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I was trying to figure out if they were
- 33:13Speaker 4: officially going there because... It seems.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:18Speaker 4: There's something weird with the mom, so at least we're
- 33:20Speaker 4: back at the beginning here.
- 33:21Speaker 1: We'll start at the beginning, yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 7: I'm just really disappointed that the mom never died.
- 33:24Speaker 4: The mom was... Because you hated the mom.
- 33:26Speaker 7: Oh my gosh. Oh, I don't think that'll do at all. No,
- 33:30Speaker 7: it won't. Fuck you, lady.
- 33:32Speaker 4: It was weird acting.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I don't know how wonderful of me, or what was
- 33:36Speaker 1: she saying every couple of... How wonderful of me. I
- 33:39Speaker 1: don't remember, but she... She was nuts!
- 33:42Speaker 4: She was buckets of nuts.
- 33:43Speaker 1: With her big old man hands.
- 33:45Speaker 8: She was.
- 33:45Speaker 2: She was crazy. I don't think it was overacting. I
- 33:48Speaker 2: think it was crazy.
- 33:49Speaker 7: I think she was supposed to be someone who's crazy.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Some people are fucking crazy.
- 33:51Speaker 7: Because you would only, like, logically... Like a normal person
- 33:56Speaker 7: would be like, I already have a boy.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I want a girl.
- 33:58Speaker 7: Guess what? You get to pretend to be a girl
- 34:00Speaker 7: for the rest of your life.
- 34:02Speaker 4: That's the thing. I think watching it, like those first
- 34:04Speaker 4: few minutes, you're like, oh, this acting is terrible. And
- 34:06Speaker 4: then as it goes on, you're like, no, she's supposed
- 34:09Speaker 4: to be way crazy.
- 34:11Speaker 9: Trust me.
- 34:11Speaker 7: I didn't think that. I thought that was intentional.
- 34:14Speaker 4: It seemed intentional.
- 34:14Speaker 7: It's not that I just thought she was like.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I've known a lot of fucking bat shit crazy people.
- 34:19Speaker 1: You were married to one.
- 34:25Speaker 2: No comment. But yeah, they talk to themselves a lot.
- 34:36Speaker 2: If you took them and put them in a movie,
- 34:37Speaker 2: you would be like, wow, they're overacting. But yeah, I
- 34:41Speaker 2: think she reminds me of some people. She's a little crazy.
- 34:48Speaker 2: That talk and then question themselves and then answer their questions.
- 34:52Speaker 2: And then question their answers.
- 34:53Speaker 4: She takes showers when no one can see. She has
- 34:56Speaker 4: no hair down below.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Judy! She's a real carpenter's dream.
- 35:01Speaker 4: The light is a board and needs a screw.
- 35:03Speaker 1: That's enough!
- 35:04Speaker 12: Fuck all!
- 35:05Speaker 1: Let's start talking about how fucking horrible Judy is.
- 35:08Speaker 17: Judy?
- 35:09Speaker 2: Judy's a cunt?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Judy's a cunt.
- 35:11Speaker 4: How many times did you say that?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Oh my god. She looked like Sarah Jessica Parker's uglier sister.
- 35:21Speaker 4: And around here, those are harsh words.
- 35:22Speaker 1: She fell out of the ugly tree and hit every
- 35:25Speaker 1: branch on the way down.
- 35:27Speaker 2: She was the horse that got beat.
- 35:28Speaker 7: It realigned her jaw when she fell out of that
- 35:31Speaker 7: ugly tree.
- 35:32Speaker 11: Or they didn't.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 35:35Speaker 1: It's like beating a dead horse. Yeah, she was horrible.
- 35:39Speaker 1: She was a fucking cunt. I wanted to fucking hit
- 35:41Speaker 1: her in her face and see if I could straighten
- 35:43Speaker 1: it back out.
- 35:43Speaker 2: How old is she supposed to be? I mean, really? Twelve, maybe? No, Judy?
- 35:49Speaker 2: She's got to be like, what?
- 35:51Speaker 4: Fifteen?
- 35:51Speaker 1: Sixteen?
- 35:52Speaker 4: I would think.
- 35:53Speaker 2: She's supposed to be at that age where, because remember
- 35:55Speaker 2: that one, Ricky was making out with her the year before,
- 35:57Speaker 2: but this year you should see how she filled out,
- 35:59Speaker 2: which she didn't really fill out that much.
- 36:00Speaker 7: I mean, that's really when girls start to fill out.
- 36:03Speaker 8: That age?
- 36:03Speaker 4: 13, 14?
- 36:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:04Speaker 2: You're in trouble, dude.
- 36:07Speaker 7: My boobs came in.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Best to not think about this.
- 36:09Speaker 7: My boobs came in full force between 5th and 6th grade.
- 36:13Speaker 14: Bam!
- 36:13Speaker 4: I'm still waiting on mine.
- 36:14Speaker 7: Maybe someday.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Maybe someday.
- 36:17Speaker 7: Jessica's boobs came in between, like, sophomore and junior year.
- 36:21Speaker 4: Between lunch and gym.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Bam! One of these days.
- 36:28Speaker 14: I remember.
- 36:29Speaker 7: That was really awkward for me because all the boys
- 36:31Speaker 7: in the neighborhood were like, boobies.
- 36:35Speaker 4: That doesn't change, by the way.
- 36:37Speaker 1: No, it doesn't.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I think my kid realizes this and I'm trying to
- 36:42Speaker 2: explain to her that guys are going to start looking
- 36:45Speaker 2: at you kind of weird. And they're going to be creepy.
- 36:48Speaker 2: And she already knows creepy, which is cool. She's like,
- 36:51Speaker 2: that guy is kind of creepy.
- 36:53Speaker 7: They all are.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I tried to tell her. I was like, don't
- 36:56Speaker 2: trust anybody.
- 36:59Speaker 7: Creepy lesbians are worse.
- 37:00Speaker 1: But anyways, Judy.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Judy's a con.
- 37:05Speaker 4: And yet, you started rocking the sideways ponytail.
- 37:08Speaker 1: That was more in respect for the hairstyles in general.
- 37:11Speaker 7: She wanted to reclaim it for people less cut.
- 37:13Speaker 4: I'm taking it back.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'm taking it back. Then I had to do, like,
- 37:17Speaker 1: my ponytail, my sideways ponytail song stuck.
- 37:19Speaker 4: In my head.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Now that's going to be stuck in my song all
- 37:22Speaker 2: fucking day.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Do you like my ponytail?
- 37:26Speaker 7: That's a real song.
- 37:26Speaker 2: It's a real song. The fucking video is funny as shit.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I actually like the video.
- 37:33Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 37:34Speaker 7: Sad that I haven't seen this.
- 37:36Speaker 2: It's on YouTube. Look it up.
- 37:38Speaker 7: I'm sure.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Do you want to take a break?
- 37:41Speaker 9: Oh, no.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Yeah. Do we have to?
- 37:45Speaker 7: I don't really care.
- 37:47Speaker 4: I mean, we're closing with it now anyway.
- 37:50Speaker 15: So, well, I think what kills me, and again, maybe
- 37:56Speaker 15: it's just because I'm not there, but the accents in
- 38:00Speaker 15: this are so heavy.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Not on all the kids, but, like, most of the
- 38:04Speaker 4: background kids, especially the little kids at the beginning and, like,
- 38:08Speaker 4: some of the other, like, less, you know, some of
- 38:11Speaker 4: the less, the actors that have less screen time. They're
- 38:15Speaker 4: just very, I don't know. I'm trying to think where,
- 38:19Speaker 4: do they shoot this in, like, Jersey?
- 38:20Speaker 2: Does it got to be upstate New Jersey?
- 38:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
- 38:22Speaker 4: I think so.
- 38:23Speaker 2: It's got to be somewhere. It's got to be Jersey.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Based by that, the.
- 38:28Speaker 2: The camp counselor? I was going.
- 38:29Speaker 1: By what appeared to be Steve Perry's younger buffer brother.
- 38:33Speaker 2: The Sausage King of Chicago.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Abe Froman?
- 38:37Speaker 2: Abe Froman, the Sausage King of Chicago. With them damn
- 38:40Speaker 2: shorts that look like it.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Shit.
- 38:42Speaker 2: You can tell what religion he was.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I've never seen such a collection of tiny, tiny shorts.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Yeah, we're just going to have to do a whole
- 38:49Speaker 4: section on the shorts of this.
- 38:51Speaker 7: I want to do a shiny, a shiny, tiny shorts.
- 38:54Speaker 7: I'm tired.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I'm so sad that, like, I was around in that era,
- 39:02Speaker 2: and I'm guilty of having tiny shorts and cut-off mesh
- 39:06Speaker 2: football shirts. I was going.
- 39:08Speaker 7: To say, tell me they were mesh.
- 39:09Speaker 4: They were mesh.
- 39:11Speaker 2: They were mesh.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Where are these pictures?
- 39:13Speaker 2: They probably don't exist because I probably.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Burned them all.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I had a habit of getting rid of pictures when
- 39:19Speaker 2: I was a kid. Mom and Dad don't like that.
- 39:21Speaker 4: They're online with those Noah Hathaway pictures you've got.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Oh, God, they're along the lines of the Noah Hathaway pictures.
- 39:27Speaker 2: They're just not in the same poses.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Noah Hathaway.
- 39:30Speaker 1: A sexy spread right there.
- 39:31Speaker 4: Poor Noah. We're sorry about that. You should still press charges.
- 39:34Speaker 1: There's pictures of him, I would say, like maybe 12, 13, 14.
- 39:37Speaker 2: I think somebody was taking that. 11 creepy pedo pictures.
- 39:42Speaker 7: Will I go to jail for.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Looking at those pictures? Maybe.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I don't think you can find them online, can you?
- 39:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:49Speaker 4: You found them on eBay, didn't you?
- 39:50Speaker 12: You found them on eBay.
- 39:51Speaker 1: They're probably on my computer somewhere.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sure they are on your computer.
- 39:55Speaker 7: Wow.
- 39:55Speaker 4: They are going down.
- 39:59Speaker 7: Great.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I didn't save them for like that.
- 40:01Speaker 4: Like, oh, yeah.
- 40:03Speaker 14: Oh, no.
- 40:04Speaker 2: No, no, no. They're worse than that.
- 40:06Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 40:07Speaker 2: They're going to come busting out the door and coming
- 40:10Speaker 2: at me, you know. You got child porn on your computer.
- 40:12Speaker 10: What?
- 40:13Speaker 1: He's wearing clothes. Wait, they're on this computer?
- 40:17Speaker 4: But this is my laptop.
- 40:21Speaker 1: That's her computer. No, that's not even it.
- 40:24Speaker 7: No.
- 40:24Speaker 4: You're going to have to go look at them.
- 40:29Speaker 9: Oh, man.
- 40:29Speaker 7: I don't want to look at these anymore.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Why do you keep looking? Why do you keep finding them?
- 40:35Speaker 4: Because Misty's trying to torture her.
- 40:37Speaker 7: I just feel dirty.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Marlena's so dirty.
- 40:42Speaker 7: I mean, I'm not enjoying this. I don't feel dirty
- 40:44Speaker 7: in that way.
- 40:44Speaker 2: No, I know what you mean. I'm talking about, like,
- 40:46Speaker 2: got to go take a shower.
- 40:47Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel like I've experienced something that I shouldn't.
- 40:50Speaker 1: The other arm, too, is the same way. It's not
- 40:51Speaker 1: like this. That's weird.
- 40:52Speaker 2: I don't mean, like, yeah, I feel dirty.
- 40:57Speaker 4: This is totally working for me.
- 41:00Speaker 7: There's this episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where
- 41:02Speaker 7: Frank has this, he's like, is that a strip club?
- 41:05Speaker 7: He meets this guy who wants to do a beauty pageant,
- 41:07Speaker 7: and Frank's like, yeah, yeah, I'll invest in that. but
- 41:10Speaker 7: it turns into a beauty pageant for children. And the
- 41:13Speaker 7: guy's like a diddler, and Frank is like, the pageant's
- 41:15Speaker 7: under investigation, and Frank doesn't want to be a diddler,
- 41:18Speaker 7: and the guys are trying to write a song. He's like,
- 41:20Speaker 7: let's include something about how we're not diddlers. Frank's little beauties,
- 41:25Speaker 7: he doesn't diddle them. They're like, if we say something
- 41:29Speaker 7: about diddling, they're definitely going to think that you're a diddler.
- 41:34Speaker 4: That was great.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Once they've been seen, they cannot be unseen.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Like the end of this movie.
- 41:40Speaker 2: She was like, oh my God, look at this. And
- 41:42Speaker 2: I turned around and I was like, what?
- 41:43Speaker 4: These are really terrible.
- 41:44Speaker 7: I'm just like, oh.
- 41:45Speaker 4: There's a lot of scary pictures of him. I feel
- 41:47Speaker 4: bad for him.
- 41:48Speaker 11: Look at all that young, fresh chicken.
- 41:51Speaker 10: Where I come from, we call them baldies.
- 41:55Speaker 11: Makes your mouth water, don't it?
- 41:57Speaker 10: Artie, they're too young to even understand what's on your mind.
- 42:01Speaker 9: Then, good buddy, there ain't no such thing as being
- 42:04Speaker 9: too young.
- 42:05Speaker 2: The guy that I used to work with at the
- 42:07Speaker 2: bakery reminds me of the creepy motherfucker that's in the kitchen.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Because he used to get online and chat with other
- 42:15Speaker 2: girls and pretend like he was a girl. Or he
- 42:18Speaker 2: would get online. Okay, this is an old, sweaty, just
- 42:23Speaker 2: nasty motherfucker. And he was supposed to be an English professor.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Or he was a former English professor. He got in
- 42:29Speaker 2: trouble for, I guess he got I don't know exactly
- 42:33Speaker 2: what it was. He got in trouble with one of
- 42:34Speaker 2: the female students and he got fired. Yeah, he was
- 42:39Speaker 2: a creep. But he was talking about how he used
- 42:41Speaker 2: to get online sometimes. Sometimes he gets online and pretends
- 42:44Speaker 2: he's a 15-year-old Swedish schoolgirl and likes to fuck around
- 42:47Speaker 2: with these guys and make them think he's all orny
- 42:50Speaker 2: and stuff. I'm like, dude, that's just not right.
- 42:53Speaker 4: That's really gay and weird. That's weird in a different way.
- 42:56Speaker 2: But then a lot of times he was like, I wish...
- 43:00Speaker 2: He goes, sometimes I wish I was a Backstreet Boy.
- 43:02Speaker 4: I was like, why?
- 43:05Speaker 2: He's like, so 15-year-old girls just sit in a bathtub
- 43:07Speaker 2: and diddle themselves thinking about me. I was like, you're
- 43:10Speaker 2: so weird.
- 43:10Speaker 4: God, you're strange.
- 43:12Speaker 7: That's beyond weird.
- 43:13Speaker 4: That's gross and creepy.
- 43:15Speaker 11: He was.
- 43:15Speaker 2: He was a creep. He was a big, fat slob.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Yes, very much like the chef guy.
- 43:20Speaker 4: The chef guy made.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Me very uncomfortable.
- 43:22Speaker 7: I was really glad when he got burned.
- 43:24Speaker 14: I know.
- 43:24Speaker 7: I hope it burned his penis right off.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Did he actually die or did he just.
- 43:30Speaker 4: No, he didn't die.
- 43:31Speaker 2: I think he was made to suffer really bad, though. But,
- 43:34Speaker 2: you know, death is always good. No problem with death.
- 43:38Speaker 4: I like that we spent most of that death scene
- 43:41Speaker 4: with pointing out kitchen errors.
- 43:43Speaker 1: That was a big fucking pot they had, too.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Why would you have a pot that big sitting on
- 43:48Speaker 4: a stove?
- 43:48Speaker 1: So big that you needed a fucking stepladder.
- 43:51Speaker 4: You just get a full-size kettle, man.
- 43:53Speaker 2: A full-size kettle will not fit on that stove.
- 43:56Speaker 4: Well, that's why a full-size kettle is mounted on the
- 43:58Speaker 4: floor and has a built-in heat.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Well, they're cheap.
- 44:01Speaker 4: They're a cheap fucking.
- 44:02Speaker 2: They're a cheap, cheap-ass camp.
- 44:04Speaker 4: You better get a whole bunch of pots in there.
- 44:05Speaker 4: That pot is too damn big.
- 44:06Speaker 7: Did you see what that guy got with Ryan in it?
- 44:07Speaker 7: He didn't care.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the flies, the nasty.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Oh, the fly strip.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Dude, that just reminds me of.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Replace that shit.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Fucking camp. I fucking hated camp. My parents would send
- 44:16Speaker 2: me to camp every fucking year. And I hated it.
- 44:20Speaker 4: And it was almost just as bad.
- 44:21Speaker 2: It was nasty-ass food.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Shitty ass kids that I had never seen before in
- 44:29Speaker 2: my life stuck up little bitchy girls I just fucking
- 44:33Speaker 2: hated it most of the time I spent most of
- 44:35Speaker 2: my time in the woods you know I would leave
- 44:38Speaker 2: and then go in the woods and nobody could find
- 44:39Speaker 2: me and then I would stay there all damn day.
- 44:41Speaker 4: And then I would wait until they were out there
- 44:43Speaker 4: and then I would kill them one by one.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Well no I didn't kill anybody You know.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I have to take a proof.
- 44:48Speaker 2: I'm not in this movie.
- 44:49Speaker 4: Hold on. We're making a movie here.
- 44:51Speaker 2: I have to take a proof.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh, wow. And that wasn't a walk-in at all.
- 44:58Speaker 7: Yeah, that wasn't a walk-in. That was a fucking pantry.
- 45:00Speaker 2: That was a pantry. Yeah, I got something nice to
- 45:03Speaker 2: show you.
- 45:03Speaker 7: Maybe he meant walk-in pantry. Maybe he meant walk-in pantry.
- 45:08Speaker 1: And he's a dumbass and didn't know what the fuck
- 45:12Speaker 1: he's talking about. He knew when to fucking walk in,
- 45:15Speaker 1: there'd be shrinkage, and.
- 45:16Speaker 4: That's never good. Not for that guy.
- 45:18Speaker 2: If I walk in pantry, he meant his rape closet.
- 45:21Speaker 4: That's kind of, yeah, exactly what it is.
- 45:25Speaker 7: That's kind of my favorite thing that I've heard all day.
- 45:28Speaker 7: I don't condone it.
- 45:28Speaker 4: That's not my favorite thing at all.
- 45:32Speaker 7: But it does make me chuckle. Rape closet. I'm going
- 45:36Speaker 7: to refer to my bedroom as that.
- 45:37Speaker 4: I know.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Here's the bedroom.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Kidding.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Here's the master bathroom, and over here's my rape closet.
- 45:45Speaker 7: No one gets raped in my bedroom.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Guys are going to run away. Oh, my God. Yeah.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Men. Men.
- 45:53Speaker 7: Hate to go to a girl's house.
- 45:55Speaker 4: If they have a rape closet. I'm kidding.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I don't have a rape closet.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Although I do have a bedroom I refer to as
- 46:04Speaker 7: my closet.
- 46:07Speaker 16: Stay away, guys.
- 46:09Speaker 2: All it takes is a little word to put right
- 46:11Speaker 2: in front of you. Start to the bar.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Hands with an ape.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Rides with Jake.
- 46:17Speaker 7: The grapest.
- 46:18Speaker 2: The grapest. I'm not really a therapist. I'm the rapest.
- 46:24Speaker 1: This guy that.
- 46:27Speaker 7: I used to work with, he had like five jobs,
- 46:30Speaker 7: but he said there's like this really big guy that
- 46:33Speaker 7: he worked with and he was like sitting at a
- 46:35Speaker 7: table eating his lunch and And he had a t-shirt
- 46:38Speaker 7: that said, hug your therapist. But one of his man
- 46:41Speaker 7: boots said, push the T-H-E part in it, and it said,
- 46:44Speaker 7: hug a rapist. And he was like, what? And I
- 46:50Speaker 7: was like, oh, I see.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Hug a rapist. This whole episode makes me want to shower.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:55Speaker 4: There's nothing good about it.
- 46:56Speaker 7: I just want to shower right now. I showered this morning.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I'll shower after you all leave.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Are you just going to wash your clavicle over and
- 47:05Speaker 4: over again?
- 47:06Speaker 2: With no soap?
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'm going to scrub the hell out of my clavicle.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Now we're jumping ahead a little bit, but since you
- 47:12Speaker 4: brought it up, we had to go right to Meg,
- 47:14Speaker 4: who does it.
- 47:15Speaker 1: She was a fucking cunt, too.
- 47:18Speaker 7: I thought she was a bunch of cunts.
- 47:19Speaker 4: I was just like.
- 47:21Speaker 2: And it's a good representation of summer camp, because summer
- 47:23Speaker 2: camp is full of... fucking dickheads.
- 47:27Speaker 4: It was. And again, I didn't want to go because
- 47:30Speaker 4: I was pretty sure it was going to be like that.
- 47:32Speaker 4: But at the point where the bitchy girls picked her
- 47:38Speaker 4: up and threw this kid who, I don't know, for
- 47:40Speaker 4: all they know, couldn't swim. They threw her in the
- 47:41Speaker 4: water and could have practically killed her.
- 47:43Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. It didn't matter. When I was a kid,
- 47:46Speaker 2: they picked me up and threw me in the lake
- 47:49Speaker 2: as well. I couldn't swim. And it was all a
- 47:51Speaker 2: good hoot. It didn't matter because it was the early 80s.
- 47:56Speaker 2: And nobody cared. There were no lawsuits at the time.
- 47:59Speaker 4: This was the perfect example, though. They drag her out,
- 48:03Speaker 4: and she's traumatized. She almost drowns, and.
- 48:08Speaker 15: Then they're walking back up the dock there, and the
- 48:12Speaker 15: other little kids are throwing dirt on them as they
- 48:14Speaker 15: go by.
- 48:15Speaker 4: I'm like, this is a perfect representation of summer camp.
- 48:19Speaker 2: That's about it.
- 48:20Speaker 4: You almost die on a regular basis, and then on
- 48:23Speaker 4: your way away from almost dying, people are still being nixed. Yeah.
- 48:28Speaker 2: I am really surprised I didn't kill anybody at summer camp,
- 48:30Speaker 2: because to say that I didn't go to summer camp
- 48:33Speaker 2: armed is really an understatement.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Well, you have to, I mean.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:38Speaker 4: But, yeah, Meg, aside from being a horrible, horrible person, yeah,
- 48:43Speaker 4: we got to her shower scene, and I'm like, has
- 48:45Speaker 4: she ever showered before?
- 48:46Speaker 1: I don't think she has.
- 48:48Speaker 4: I don't think she has either.
- 48:49Speaker 2: She was showering up for that big date with the
- 48:52Speaker 2: old fucking cigar guy.
- 48:56Speaker 7: His name was Mel.
- 48:58Speaker 10: Mel.
- 48:58Speaker 2: He looked like a Mel.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Mel looked like.
- 49:00Speaker 7: A fucking Mel.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Mel was pretty entertaining in this one.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he did look like Mr.
- 49:05Speaker 4: Roper. Mel like chomping on his cigar and like.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Wearing his fucking Technicolor station break TV station break pants.
- 49:13Speaker 4: And like the earlier scenes where he's got tennis shoes
- 49:16Speaker 4: and black socks but then later when he's got the
- 49:19Speaker 4: striped beach check pants he's got the white shoes so
- 49:22Speaker 4: he's got like the worst of every wardrobe all thrown together.
- 49:26Speaker 7: And yeah why are you digging in your cleavage because
- 49:29Speaker 7: there's a bunch.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Of hair i don't know why i'm sorry it's really
- 49:36Speaker 4: itchy my hair just falls out like crazy.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Our lady's got a hairy cleavage.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I do.
- 49:42Speaker 7: And when I shower, I have a hairy butt crack.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Like, a handful.
- 49:46Speaker 1: That was so weird.
- 49:47Speaker 7: You don't have to put that in the show.
- 49:53Speaker 4: You did. It's especially awkward.
- 49:55Speaker 7: When you're showering with someone else and you're like, close
- 49:59Speaker 7: your eyes.
- 50:00Speaker 1: True story.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Or you just don't tell them. You wait until they're
- 50:07Speaker 2: washing their face.
- 50:08Speaker 4: That's a good idea.
- 50:10Speaker 1: And then you take them off to the rape closet.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Whatever you do, when she tells you to close your eyes, guys,
- 50:15Speaker 4: don't do it.
- 50:16Speaker 8: Oh, God, just run.
- 50:18Speaker 7: I don't have a rape closet.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Well, you're just in the shower now.
- 50:24Speaker 1: You don't even need the closet anymore. But, yeah, Mel
- 50:30Speaker 1: was the one. They were all just horrible people except
- 50:33Speaker 1: for Steve Perry's brother.
- 50:35Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I like him. He had fantastic man boobs, too. They
- 50:40Speaker 1: were vice and firm.
- 50:42Speaker 2: No, I mean, that is an accurate representation of summer camp.
- 50:45Speaker 2: I mean, because I remember there was always that one
- 50:48Speaker 2: guy that was really cool, that was nice to everybody.
- 50:52Speaker 4: He was just trying to do his job. He was
- 50:53Speaker 4: just trying to do his job.
- 50:54Speaker 2: He loved summer camp, and that's the way that guy was.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Just like Steve Perry.
- 50:59Speaker 4: He loved summer camp.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Fucking love Steve Perry.
- 51:02Speaker 2: He didn't sing about it, but he just really loved
- 51:03Speaker 2: summer camp. Love summer camp.
- 51:06Speaker 4: Wheel in the sky. That's really about summer camp.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:09Speaker 4: So, okay, I still want to get into other creepy areas. Marlena,
- 51:14Speaker 4: in the middle of the movie, you came up with
- 51:16Speaker 4: a theory. You're onto something, I think, on why we
- 51:20Speaker 4: should all be dead now. Everyone post-80s should be dead.
- 51:25Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Because all men should have been sterile.
- 51:29Speaker 7: All these dudes' shorts and underwear were so tight. That
- 51:33Speaker 7: it had to have cut off circulation to their balls,
- 51:36Speaker 7: like limiting their sperm count. How our race continued after
- 51:40Speaker 7: the 80s, I have no idea. It's like a miracle
- 51:42Speaker 7: of science.
- 51:42Speaker 4: She's kind of got a point, actually.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I was born in the 80s, so I beat the deadline.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I've seen the clothes.
- 51:48Speaker 4: I don't understand.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Hell, we wore some of it. I don't know. I
- 51:54Speaker 2: don't remember that far back, I don't think. I think
- 51:56Speaker 2: I blocked most of it out.
- 51:57Speaker 4: I don't know. Maybe that just means I don't have
- 52:00Speaker 4: to program.
- 52:00Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I remember the damn jeans, though. I remember not being
- 52:03Speaker 2: able to, like, getting ready for school and having to
- 52:07Speaker 2: try to fit into my damn jeans. Damn jeans were tight.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Tight fucking jeans.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I'm going to get you some of them now.
- 52:13Speaker 4: No.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I'm going to get you some of them short shorts.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I'm going to get you some of those little tight
- 52:16Speaker 1: shit right there.
- 52:17Speaker 4: I don't want, no.
- 52:18Speaker 1: There's nothing sexier than tighty whiteys.
- 52:20Speaker 7: You should start wearing tight jeans and you should tight
- 52:22Speaker 7: roll the bottom of them.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I used to do that. A long time ago.
- 52:25Speaker 7: I remember my cousins teaching me how to tight roll
- 52:27Speaker 7: and I thought it was so awesome.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I did too.
- 52:29Speaker 2: I thought it was awesome.
- 52:31Speaker 7: And as soon as they taught me, the fad was over.
- 52:33Speaker 1: And that didn't stop me one damn bit. That's the
- 52:39Speaker 1: biggest collection of tiny short shorts I've seen in quite
- 52:42Speaker 1: some time.
- 52:42Speaker 4: And you were making fun of their tiny whities, but
- 52:44Speaker 4: like I said, when you wear shorts that tight, that's
- 52:46Speaker 4: your only option.
- 52:49Speaker 2: You can't wear boxers with that.
- 52:50Speaker 4: When boxers are like three inches longer than the shorts
- 52:53Speaker 4: you're wearing.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Well, I mean, even when I was in high school,
- 52:56Speaker 2: boxers were not considered ends.
- 52:59Speaker 4: It was like mid-90s before any regular guys like 60
- 53:04Speaker 4: were wearing boxers.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, my grandpa was wearing boxers. You wore tighty-whities,
- 53:08Speaker 2: that was it. I don't even seem to remember any
- 53:11Speaker 2: guys wearing boxer briefs.
- 53:14Speaker 4: I don't think they even were admitted yet, were they?
- 53:17Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I don't remember boxer briefs. I just remember everybody wore tighty-whities,
- 53:21Speaker 2: and if you didn't wear tighty-whities, you got made fun of.
- 53:24Speaker 4: So, I don't know. I'm just like Angela. I try
- 53:28Speaker 4: not to shower with the other strangers.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Or talk to them. Or just sit and stare at
- 53:34Speaker 1: people awkwardly.
- 53:35Speaker 7: And they're like, what are you looking at? And Angela
- 53:38Speaker 7: just keeps looking.
- 53:39Speaker 4: There are a lot of awkward moments in this movie,
- 53:42Speaker 4: I have to say. Not just the creepy ones. But
- 53:44Speaker 4: even just the cuts back and forth to her as
- 53:48Speaker 4: she just stares at them.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:51Speaker 2: It's awesome because it starts to make them feel really uncomfortable.
- 53:55Speaker 2: At first they're kind of like dicks. They're like, what
- 53:58Speaker 2: the fuck are you looking at? And then there's no response.
- 54:01Speaker 2: And then they're like, uh, stop looking at me.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:06Speaker 7: And then be mad about it.
- 54:10Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 54:11Speaker 8: Weird.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:13Speaker 4: There's some odd, awkward delivery. Again, it all just kind
- 54:18Speaker 4: of adds to the creepy tone of this movie.
- 54:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 54:22Speaker 1: I think my favorite part is that the fact that
- 54:24Speaker 1: it came out in 83 and I didn't see it
- 54:28Speaker 1: until what, maybe 2006 maybe? Was it.
- 54:33Speaker 4: That late?
- 54:35Speaker 1: 2005?
- 54:35Speaker 4: It was mid-2000s. It was, yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 1: And I had not heard anything about the ending.
- 54:40Speaker 4: That was the first time I watched it. Whenever you
- 54:42Speaker 4: got that crappy copy that we just watched, that was
- 54:46Speaker 4: the first time I'd heard about it. But again, it's
- 54:48Speaker 4: like I can't believe I heard about it for years.
- 54:51Speaker 4: And still hadn't heard the end. Like, I went that far.
- 54:53Speaker 4: That's why I'm going out of my way to not
- 54:55Speaker 4: ruin it.
- 54:56Speaker 2: For anybody else. I don't know how I even ever,
- 54:58Speaker 2: never heard of it. Because, I mean, a friend of mine,
- 55:01Speaker 2: we used to watch a lot of horror movies after work.
- 55:05Speaker 2: I don't know how we missed this one. You know,
- 55:07Speaker 2: I don't know how I never heard about it. We
- 55:09Speaker 2: watched a lot of cheesy 80s horror movies. Don't know
- 55:12Speaker 2: how I never came around to that. So when I
- 55:13Speaker 2: watched it with her, she made me sit down and
- 55:15Speaker 2: watch it. I was like, eh, you know, it's a
- 55:17Speaker 2: cheesy slasher camper flick.
- 55:19Speaker 3: And I'm like.
- 55:20Speaker 2: I pretty much understand. I get where it's going until
- 55:22Speaker 2: the end, and at the end it totally threw me.
- 55:25Speaker 4: I was like, whoa, this is the greatest movie. That's
- 55:28Speaker 4: so weird.
- 55:30Speaker 1: And I like that, the fact that it managed to
- 55:32Speaker 1: go so many years without being unspoiled. I mean, fucking
- 55:35Speaker 1: The Sixth Sense was out like two days, and people
- 55:37Speaker 1: spoiled the fuck out of that. Yeah. I guess because
- 55:39Speaker 1: there wasn't internet back in the 83 really to spoil it.
- 55:43Speaker 4: But even then, like, as far, you know, lately, maybe
- 55:47Speaker 4: everybody just has respect for it. Everybody was traumatized. Everybody
- 55:51Speaker 4: but us.
- 55:51Speaker 1: We're going to spoil the shit out of it.
- 55:53Speaker 4: No, we put the spoiler alert out. I gave you
- 55:55Speaker 4: full warning. Go watch the movie. But I think that's
- 55:59Speaker 4: what it is. I think everybody, like, I think more
- 56:02Speaker 4: than respect, I think what they have is, I was traumatized,
- 56:04Speaker 4: damn it. I want you to be traumatized like we
- 56:07Speaker 4: did to Marlena.
- 56:08Speaker 2: It's like the crying game.
- 56:09Speaker 7: I'll survive. Yeah, it was like the crying game, but
- 56:12Speaker 7: for children.
- 56:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 7: With children, not for children.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Please don't. Thank you, children.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Watch the crying game. It's a great game.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Hey, kids, get around the TV.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Do you feel traumatized? Do you feel like a little
- 56:26Speaker 1: part of you has died?
- 56:27Speaker 7: I just feel dirty, but I think I'll probably forget
- 56:29Speaker 7: about it in a minute.
- 56:31Speaker 4: No, you won't. You might forget about the lower half,
- 56:33Speaker 4: but you can't forget about the face.
- 56:35Speaker 7: Yeah, the face.
- 56:35Speaker 4: The face will not go away. Like, how many years
- 56:39Speaker 4: since I saw it the first time? It's still burned
- 56:41Speaker 4: in my brain. Well, because they leave it on screen.
- 56:43Speaker 4: I know.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Horrible.
- 56:45Speaker 2: They leave it on screen even through the credits.
- 56:47Speaker 7: It's horrifying. I think the thing about the face, it
- 56:50Speaker 7: was just so supernatural. That part was like really supernatural.
- 56:54Speaker 7: But the rest of the movie, it was just like
- 56:56Speaker 7: some fucked up kid killing people. But that part was
- 56:58Speaker 7: just like, what are you? Some kind of demon? Oh
- 57:01Speaker 7: hell no, you a demon.
- 57:03Speaker 2: She kind of was.
- 57:06Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 57:07Speaker 1: I think part of what makes the face so fucking
- 57:09Speaker 1: creepy is when they do the pan out shot, it
- 57:11Speaker 1: is a mask. That's what makes it so funny.
- 57:13Speaker 4: It looks so unhuman.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Because it isn't anymore.
- 57:16Speaker 1: When you see the whole body. I think they used
- 57:18Speaker 1: some completely... It was a college guy. Oh.
- 57:23Speaker 4: That poor bastard. He just shaved.
- 57:26Speaker 1: He's completely uncredited. Nobody in my knows who the fuck
- 57:29Speaker 1: he is.
- 57:30Speaker 7: No one would want to be like, this guy's shaving
- 57:32Speaker 7: tiny penis. I mean, I'm a grown man pretending to
- 57:37Speaker 7: be a boy because my penis is so small.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Oh, you know, when you got a bunch of people
- 57:42Speaker 2: watching you and you're not doing porn, it kind of
- 57:43Speaker 2: shrinks up a little bit.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Maybe it was cold out there.
- 57:45Speaker 2: It could have been cold. A lot of times when
- 57:46Speaker 2: they shoot movies, it's cold.
- 57:47Speaker 4: They were down by the water.
- 57:48Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 57:49Speaker 4: It's shrinkage. It's shrinkage.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Something's supposed to be bigger than it is. Because I've
- 57:54Speaker 1: seen pictures of just like the mask when it's being
- 57:57Speaker 1: made and it's absolutely fucking frightening.
- 57:58Speaker 7: I didn't realize it was a mask.
- 57:59Speaker 1: It is.
- 58:00Speaker 7: Because it really looks like her face.
- 58:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a good switch back and forth.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Like, Again, for.
- 58:05Speaker 2: This is pre-CGI, people.
- 58:07Speaker 1: They have her face, and when they do the zoom out,
- 58:10Speaker 1: it's the mask on a dude, and then they go
- 58:11Speaker 1: back to her face, and it's just so fucking frightening,
- 58:15Speaker 1: you know?
- 58:16Speaker 4: And I think a little of that is that it
- 58:17Speaker 4: seems unreal, but, like, in a totally creepy way. Like,
- 58:22Speaker 4: it's not... It's not natural. It's just, it does feel
- 58:25Speaker 4: a little dirty.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Well, because your brain picks up that something's not right
- 58:29Speaker 2: with this.
- 58:29Speaker 4: Yeah, and you're just like, oh.
- 58:31Speaker 2: But it's not like CGI, because your brain can pick
- 58:33Speaker 2: apart CGI generally, and your brain can go, look. Your
- 58:35Speaker 2: brain's like, that's CGI. You understand what it is. There's
- 58:38Speaker 2: no depth to it. You don't buy it, but you
- 58:40Speaker 2: understand what it is. You understand what it is. But
- 58:42Speaker 2: this one, you pan out. You're like, okay, that's... It's something's...
- 58:45Speaker 2: You can't pinpoint it.
- 58:46Speaker 4: It's what it is. You're just like, something's off.
- 58:48Speaker 2: What is it?
- 58:49Speaker 4: It's probably a mask, but there's a dude.
- 58:52Speaker 10: No. No.
- 58:53Speaker 14: Fuck. What is it?
- 58:54Speaker 4: Stop showing that. Why won't they stop showing that?
- 58:57Speaker 7: Well, and the fact that she was, like, holding a head.
- 59:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, it's a traumatizing scene.
- 59:03Speaker 7: It would probably be really hard to saw somebody's head off.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Angela's hardcore.
- 59:08Speaker 7: There's, like, a lot of stuff there, actually.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Yeah, well, maybe she's got a really sharp knife. You
- 59:13Speaker 2: can do anything if you put your mind to it.
- 59:15Speaker 4: That's true.
- 59:16Speaker 1: You can slaughter a bunch of kids in their sleeping
- 59:18Speaker 1: bags without waking any of them.
- 59:20Speaker 4: That's the one we were trying to figure out how
- 59:22Speaker 4: that happened.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Well, you know.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Because she shredded those sleeping bags.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Well, you knock them all out first. You get more
- 59:28Speaker 2: than swift whack in the cranium.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Or slit their throats.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Eh, you get a bunch of bubbling when you do that. Gurgling.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Don't you hate when that happens?
- 59:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:36Speaker 4: That's not what happened when I was.
- 59:39Speaker 2: It's kind of hard to slit throats with a camp axe.
- 59:41Speaker 11: It's crazy how much.
- 59:42Speaker 7: Eyeliner is under my eyes and not on my eyelids anymore.
- 59:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 59:49Speaker 8: You know?
- 59:51Speaker 18: It's the face coupled with The voice, or the gargling noise,
- 59:58Speaker 18: followed by the confusion of face and penis, and the
- 1:00:04Speaker 18: realization that, hey, that's a, what's going on?
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: And it's just like a shocking moment, too, because you've
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: got the severed head, and you've got, like, it all
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: comes out of nowhere, too. They're just like, oh, look,
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: down there, what's that? You know, and all of a
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: sudden it's just, ah! It's fucking creepy.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just nuts. And I don't seem to remember,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: maybe I wasn't paying attention in camp. I'm sure there
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: was a lot of messing around going on in camp
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: because that's probably what happens.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: Like between guys and girls?
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Between guys and girls, camp counselors and girls and cooks
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: and some of the little kids, you know. There was
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: probably a lot of that shit going on, but.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it's... Well, you were actually at camp.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: I was at camp, but then I was gone most
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: of the time. I mean, I didn't participate. I took
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: off into the woods. Even just witnessing.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Misty found a picture of the severed head mask next
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: to her and it's traumatizing me.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: A little bit more.
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: Well, the mask looks really bad and fake now.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: In that picture.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: In that picture, but.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: It probably helps that, like, the video grade was really bad. Like,
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: I wonder if they... have cleaned it up now, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: if so, if it's not, it's weird. Like, again, it looks,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: it's such a bad, I'm sure, VHS copy, and then
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: the one we have on this ghetto DVD is just
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: taken straight off of VHS.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: But then the funny thing is, the funny thing is,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: there's a lot of new movies that try to go
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: back and recapture that grainy grittiness.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: It's not quite the same.
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: No, it's not.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: It's, like, again, you know, your brain picks it up
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: and goes, eh, there's not something It's kind of off
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: about that. I don't buy it. It's not VHS.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Yeah. We're all missing out.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: I guess because if you grew up with VHS, you know.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: And I remember when we had VHS and everybody was like, DVD, man,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: DVDs are so awesome. And I'm like, I can't tell
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: the difference, you know. I can't tell the difference. It's
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: the same thing to me. I'm not going to be
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: able to. And then I got a DVD player. I
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: was like blown away.
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: Holy shit.
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: So.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: And I haven't even made the step to Blu-ray people,
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: so I'm sorry.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: I just can't afford a fancy DVD.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: I can't. I really can't. just don't care and i'm
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: half blind anyway so i we don't have one of
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: those nice new super led tvs because i figure that's
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: just something somebody's going to run off with our 450
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: pound tv that we have now it ain't going it's
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: not going anywhere mine you lifted mine yeah i don't
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: ever want to do that i don't want to do that.
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: Again god that thing's heavy dude no shit So in
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: the Return to Sleepaway camp that was shot not that
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: long ago, like in 2008, she plays the same person?
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: I'm really confused.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: What?
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: Her name's Angela.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: She probably gets out of Crazy House.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Is she a camp counselor?
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Counselor.
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: Counselor.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Camp counselor.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: How many of these movies are there?
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: They're 25.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: Maybe they're working on the other one, I guess. I
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: don't know.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: They're trying to do Hellraiser.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: I guess. There were two that they did in the 80s,
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: I think. There were two sequels then, and then they
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: just did the return to Sleepaway Camp four years or
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: so ago, or somewhere around there. And now they have
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: listed a Sleepaway Camp Reunion 3D.
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: She's seriously done two movies that aren't horror movies. It's weird.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Once it becomes your.
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: You're a little niche. But she's in a movie that's
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: coming out in 2013 called Crazy Fat Ethel. I'm on board.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: But no, who can ask? And maybe not even just camp.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: Maybe it's just, I think I'm more like, am I
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: just an emotionally detached human being? But these kids, there
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: was a lot of roughhousing and grab-assing. Just in general,
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: with the guys and the guys and the girls. Was
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: I just a detached child? Because I don't remember being
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: that hands-on with my friends.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: I wasn't either.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: They were all just like, all the like pile on
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: wrestling matches when they were, it seemed like they were
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: angry at each other, but there was a lot of
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: hands on each other.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: I was just like, I didn't touch my friends.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: There was a lot of that.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Yeah, there was a lot of that, but it wasn't,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: it wasn't between me and my friends, or my friend.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I didn't have a lot of friends. You
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: had one friend that we mostly threw rocks at each
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: other and shot each other with BB guns.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I was, well, me and my cousins, we weren't like,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I mean, we were somewhat, not, like, uber, like, touchy-feely,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: but we weren't, like.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Well, I mean, we're talking about, like, roughhousing.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I did.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: I mean, these kids are just, like, they're horrible to
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: each other, but at the same time, they come in
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: contact with each other a lot.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, they're all friends, even though they
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: get aggravated with each other. Well, yeah, they're camp friends.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: That dorky kid that they keep picking on, that they're like,
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: here's my ass.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Yeah, wow.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: It's like, that's... it's crossing a line man i mean
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: it's a.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Prank but i remember kids doing stupid crap.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: I know it's like guys you want to go that
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: far to make him feel like an idiot i guess
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: you do all right yeah but guys kind of do
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: like that i don't get guys but they're not like
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: i don't want to lie yeah it's like somebody else
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: feel horrible it's.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Like who's the guy who wants to have some guy's
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: nose up his.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Ass i was like who is this worse for okay
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: a little bit But it's still not cool for you either.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, ha ha!
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you're the one.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Who had your pants down. What are you laughing about?
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: I don't know. It's just watching all of that going on.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: I'm like, these kids.
- 1:05:29Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Maybe I'm just... I don't know. I didn't do that ever.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: No.
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: That's just me. I don't know.
- 1:05:39Speaker 14: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:05:42Speaker 11: It's beyond me.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: But I still like the movie. I'm still impressed. Granted,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: it's incredibly low quality, but like I said, I think
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: that it's impressing how long it's held up. For me,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I still think it's, you know, kind of, not like
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I'll say groundbreaking, but it does do a lot of
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: things that people have ripped off.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and it was sort of pushing that envelope of
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: like a lot of things. Like even just the father...
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: thing like that scene i was like in 83 yeah
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: to be showing that in a well not a huge
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: mainstream movie but still a pretty normal.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Horror movie yeah but in 83 83 that was a
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: big deal still pretty high homophobia i.
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: Mean the most groundbreaking homosexual presentation we had is three's
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: company at that point so i mean which is pretty
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: god-awful actually looking at it now.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: It's I don't even remember Three's Company.
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: Oh, Lord.
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: Peter Roper thought he was gay, and that's why.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: The physical comedy is actually still pretty entertaining, but the
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: homosexual jokes are so bad now. Yeah, it's weird. Then,
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: I guess, they were supposed to be progressive, but now
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: it just seems painful and insulting to watch, but I
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: don't know, so that's why I was like, in 83,
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: this was sort of pushing that envelope, and then the weird.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because it wasn't throwing it as a joke.
- 1:07:05Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:07:06Speaker 11: You know?
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: And it was actually, like, trying to give backstory on
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: how all this messes her up, which, again, maybe isn't
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: a good representation, but it's using it seriously. Yeah, it
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: isn't making a joke out of it, and then you
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: get to the weird... Again, that has nothing to do
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: with what the aunt does to her, which is really
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: what fucked her up, so.
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: That, again, that's a very weird, like, I don't know,
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: that's the kind of gender roles that Hitchcock used to do.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: It's almost one of those things that I wonder that, like,
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: the brother, does he end up taking on his sister's personality, too,
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: in a way, since his sister's killed?
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: You know?
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: Maybe.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: I mean, maybe it's a weird, like, guilt that sets
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: in that I should have been killed and I wasn't,
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: and now, you know, you've got this authority figured as
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: an adult in your life telling you that's what you
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: need to be, and... I'm confused.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: At the very beginning when they're in the boat accident,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I could have swore that it was the sister that
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: was screaming that her brother had got hit and her dad.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: No, that was the girl that was water skiing that
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: was screaming the whole time.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Once they were in the water?
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: Yeah. They kept cutting her.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: She wouldn't shut up and help them.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: She just kept screaming.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I thought that was the little girl.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: No, that was the weird water skier.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I was confused. No, because the little girl, the sister,
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: had her hair in pigtails. Yeah, pigtails. And she had
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: black hair, and the girl that was screaming had blonde
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: hair and wouldn't shut up. You remember her awful face
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: as they're going.
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: Where was the boy when this all happened? Now I
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: can't remember and I'm confused.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: You don't really see him.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: They show one really quick scene with him, and that's it.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: And you can't tell. Again, it's like they both have
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: dark hair. They're little boys and girls. You can't tell
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: much of the difference at that point.
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: I just remember seeing the dad floating and his ass
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: back and then.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: The body like this. Like, in the very first time
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: I saw it, I didn't catch it, but this time,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: because I knew what to look for, I went back,
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: watching it this time, looking for all those little things,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: all those little hints.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: And in a way, it's impressive that... they're all there.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Like, it really is.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: It's not like they slapped it together and at the
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: end they just, like, make up this reveal. It's like,
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: if you go back, it's actually.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Well put together. Yeah, once you've seen it and you
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: start paying attention to it, they do only flash a
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: really quick of the little boy going, like that, and
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: that's it. And you see the dad and you see
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: the life jacket. And at that point, I think, I
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: thought that the At that point, when I first saw it,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: I didn't know who got hit.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: I didn't either, especially the first time.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: And then when you see the girl come at you,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: you're like, oh, okay, I guess the brother got hit.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess she's the one that survived.
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Which is what you're supposed to think.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: And they do a good job of that.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: They flash it so quick that you're kind of confused.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: You know, until that point. And then you think you've
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: kind of figured it out.
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: And you even buy, like, again, watching the, like, okay,
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: they're being horrible to her about the shower thing. Yeah.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: But even, like, when she's making out with the guy...
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: It plays very much like a I just wasn't ready scene,
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: which is in every teen movie, whether it's horror or, like,
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: sex comedy or whatever. It plays exactly like one of those.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: And I was just like, even knowing how it turns out,
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: I'm like, you kind of buy this. Like, I'm 12
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: years old. I'm not ready for this. Leave me alone.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: Quit grabbing me, you weirdo.
- 1:10:25Speaker 7: Oh, no, I have a secret penis.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Why don't you eat one of those?
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: It's awful.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: We are talking about the movie, right?
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: No, she just came to startling revelation over here.
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: It's a very special episode of movie.
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: I take people to my rape closet to reveal my
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: secret penis. Nope, never happened.
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: You gotta watch when you bust that line out. Yeah.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: It's not a secret no more.
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: Men love that stuff. They love surprises.
- 1:11:04Speaker 19: What were we watching they were trying to set that
- 1:11:07Speaker 19: guy up oh was it I can't even remember they
- 1:11:11Speaker 19: were trying to set that guy up on a date
- 1:11:13Speaker 19: and they were at the man show and they were
- 1:11:15Speaker 19: asking would you date a woman with a penis and
- 1:11:18Speaker 19: he goes.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: I might it was Tosh.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: 0 the guy that was the gymnastic virgin sorry I
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: slap things a lot.
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: I hit things Whenever I'm trying to make a really
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: important point, I.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Yes, you're a table pounder. I'm a table pounder.
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: I was going to say I'm a fister.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: You're a fister.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: Oh, God. We're back to the closet.
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: Secret penis having fisting and rape cards at home.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Let me break out the rubbing gloves.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: The story is not getting better.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: Not at all.
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: I'm never going to go on a date again.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I don't think anybody listens to this.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: It's just Randy.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: He's already got Lisa.
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: He's going to tell all my mail soon.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: He probably may not understand you right now. Wow.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: I'll post that on her Facebook.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Hey Marlene, how's the rape pause going? How's the secret
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: penis going?
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: I told you not to bring that up.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: I'm seeing a doctor. Leave me alone. So the other
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: thing I was going to say, aside from all of
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: that trauma going on there, too, that kind of I
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: was impressed with because this is such a low-budget movie and, like,
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: because there's other moments that are very choppy about it
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: and some weird acting, but, like, the effects kind of
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: hold up. Like, the creepy drowned dude with the snake?
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: That looks good. Like, that looks good by today's standards.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: The snake coming out of his mouth.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Mm-hmm.
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: The guy when all the boils were showing up and stuff.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well, the guy that got burnt. They were showing
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: the blisters forming up on his face. I don't know
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: how they did that, but that looks good.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: They just burned his ass.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: That would be a low budget. Hold still. Yeah.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: All right, this is going to make maximum effect here.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: All right, you're going to lay there, and we're going
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: to dump boiling water on you.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: Meg, do I need you to back up? Back up?
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: There we go. Right into the knife. Method acting.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I just think the whole end thing is just so
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: creepy to begin with. I can't even just.
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: I didn't like it.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: The singing and everything.
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: I forgot about the singing.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Again, everything about that last scene is just traumatizing.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Was it singing or humming?
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: I couldn't.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: No, she was kind of like singing.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: She was kind of singing.
- 1:13:35Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: It's very creepy.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: I don't want to talk about it anymore.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: But there's the slow pan and she's covered in blood.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: And naked.
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: Why'd she get naked for that?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Because they were going.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: To go get a skip.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: You don't get blood on your clothes?
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: Holy shit.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: You've seen American Psycho. That's how you take care of
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: that shit.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: You always kill people naked in your rape closet.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: We know you. Don't pretend like you don't know.
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: You don't want evidence.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: There's only two options. You coat everything in plastic or
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: you completely strip dead. If you don't have the plastic, these.
- 1:14:16Speaker 11: Are your options.
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: Well, I do have many plastic outfits.
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: I'm kidding, I don't.
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: I got rid of those a long time ago.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: See, I probably wonder if she had planned on killing
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: him or if they had both gotten naked and then
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: he saw and that's why she killed him.
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: Possibly. I mean, she did suggest let's get naked. So that's,
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: I mean, there's no.
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: Wondering if he's going to figure something out at that point.
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: I think she was holding a grudge from him kissing her. Yeah.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: I think it seemed... She seemed pretty intent at that point.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Yep. She was waiting for the big reveal.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: The penis was not a secret to her.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: No, it wasn't. She made it known to him.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I don't blame her. I'd be pretty pissed, too.
- 1:14:59Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: If you were making out with Judy, I would fucking
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: cut your head off, too.
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: It's Judy that made it rough. I mean, kids and...
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: At that age, I guess, there's a lot of that nonsense.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: Not for me, but, you know. For regular kids, they
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: probably have that going on.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you've got the girls that are developing faster
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: than other girls, and they're going to be dicks because
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: they're kids.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: Because they can.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Because they can, because they have what boys at that
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: age are wanting, you know. So, I mean, I remember
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: in school, you know, certain friends that were girls that
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: liked guys... and other girls that were complete bitches to him,
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: you know? I mean, you probably know.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I'm a bitch to you?
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: No, no, I'm just talking about, like, Everybody you went
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: to school with was a bitch. No, there were the
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: girls that were, like, a little bit more further along
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: developed than other girls, and so, like, if these girls
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: liked other boys, they would get their attention away just
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: because they had boobs.
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: And at the time, when you're, I guess, most of
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: the boys were like, Oh, boobs!
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: You know?
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: So their attention is easily drawn away.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: I'm just lucky I went after an ass man instead.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Because I have a fantastic ass. Or I used to.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: You still do.
- 1:16:15Speaker 17: Aww.
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: That's sweet.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: It's funny that Paul dude, the poor bastard that got beheaded,
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: he's like the one that came out of this. Well,
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: at least in the 80s. In the 80s, he was
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: in a lot of stuff. That's the thing. I remember,
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: because I was just on cable, I just watched Firstborn again.
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: Which he's like the lead in that, basically. And then
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: he's the lead in Manhattan Project. And all through the 80s,
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: they gave him his own movie, which is impressive when
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: you're like a teenager. So it's funny that as it
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: goes on, he doesn't, yeah. By like, I don't know,
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: the late 90s, he'd already kind of stopped a lot
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: of TV work and then kind of stopped and he's
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: got one short in 2008. But yeah, he had a
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: pretty good career going in the 80s.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: More than what Judy did.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Or anybody else for that matter, pretty much.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: Especially in mainstream stuff. I think everybody got known for
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: horror and kept doing other horror stuff. I don't know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Was the poor man's Mr. Roper, was he in anything?
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: He looked familiar.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: He does.
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: What's his name?
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Mel?
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: Mel. Let's see.
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: Oh, that guy died right after Sleepaway Camp.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: What guy?
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Mel.
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: He died in 1983.
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: Yeah, that is his last movie.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: I mean, Meg got stabbed in the back, so there's
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: no chance of him getting any.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Did you know the way he looked at her after
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: he saw her dead there? He's like, hmm.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he had that real creepy one-second look of, I
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: could probably tap that.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: You know, if it hadn't been long.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: She was still warm.
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: You warm up the shower.
- 1:17:55Speaker 7: He wasn't really that old. He was like 60.
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: What did he die of? He was in a ton
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: of TV, though. He was in, uh, one of the
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: Twilight Zone.
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: He was a hundred and one things.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: 30 Fathom Grave. Hmm. Is that, which one is that?
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: Is that the phone call?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: No, as long as it's called. 30 Fathom Grave is
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: when they're, they're on a boat and they keep hearing sounds, like,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: like underneath the boat and it's from a ship that
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: it sank or something.
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: Hmm, that's weird.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: I don't remember that one.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Yeah, he was in a lot of TV, though.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: Honestly, Celeste.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: And Midnight Express. And, God told me to. Yeah, he
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: was in a lot of stuff.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: He was Fugitive Thug in Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: What was Steve Perry's brother's name? Was he Ronnie? He
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: looked like a Ronnie.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: He did look like a Ronnie.
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: The wackiest ship in the army.
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: Paul D'Angelo. That sounds like him.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds like a name.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Sounds like a name.
- 1:18:50Speaker 10: Well no Pauly D he's Pauly D he doesn't know
- 1:18:53Speaker 10: Pauly D the original.
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: Pauly D maybe he's Pauly D's dad maybe crazy no
- 1:18:59Speaker 7: Pauly D's name is Paul Del Vecchio Vecchio.
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: No I think that's him Paul D'Angelo what else is
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: he done I'm so tired it wasn't much it was
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: six things two of which were Sleepaway Camp titles.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Okay, do we need to figure out anything else or
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: are we about done?
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: I think that's most of it. I think we've covered
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: why it's still kind of amazing for what should have
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: just been a schlocky B-horror movie. I don't know, the
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: fact that, like they said, 30 years later and it's
- 1:19:28Speaker 4: still traumatizing people and people still remember it and it's
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: still considered one of the big shock endings in any
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: horror movie. It's right up there with A lot of
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: the big, super mainstream, well-known movies.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't think of any other movie that's had
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: that shocking of an ending right offhand.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: There's a few, but.
- 1:19:49Speaker 11: I mean.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: It's right up there. Like what, though?
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: What's the name of that one?
- 1:19:55Speaker 11: Seven?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Shocking endings that haven't been spoiled for everybody.
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: That haven't been spoiled?
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Seven. Nobody's spoiled seven.
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: There's one, but I kind of don't want to spoil
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: it for people by saying it. Have I seen.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: Is it new?
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: No.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: It's one that traumatized Misty. I don't think she's made
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: you watch it.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: What is it?
- 1:20:14Speaker 12: Bambi.
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: Don't look now.
- 1:20:15Speaker 11: Is it Bambi?
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: I think that was a good movie.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: That one's more traumatizing because naked Donald Sutherland fallen.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: Well, I've heard.
- 1:20:24Speaker 11: About that one.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: It's horribly creepy. Like, it is really creepy and well shot.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: I'm not sure if I want to see naked Donald Sutherland.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: You don't. Because I remember young Donald Sutherland, and he
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: wasn't even that good looking when he was young.
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: No, no. He always kind of had that weird look
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: going on.
- 1:20:41Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you, I read the story for that.
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Didn't make a lot of sense either. Mm-hmm.
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: I still think it's a good movie. It's just a
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: weird movie.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: I'm trying to think what he was in that I
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: saw him in. Was it The Great Escape? Maybe that's
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: what it was that he was in. He was fairly young.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: I don't know, but this is something like that. you know, that, again,
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: that psycho moment of like, holy shit, didn't see that coming,
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: That was more in the middle of the movie. Psycho, yeah.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: I remember Psycho.
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: It's that kind of moment. It's right up there with
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: that stuff. Or Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which kind
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: of has a similar moment there.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't remember that movie too well.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: The 78 one's kind of got a similar creep factor
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: going on.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: I saw the 78 one, but I was real young.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: That was probably one my mom and I watched together.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm probably never going to watch Don't Look Now
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: ever again.
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: I want to go back and watch it, because I
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: remember being impressed by the other stuff going on, and
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: I don't know, it's pretty cool.
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: Angela!
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Angela! Are you alright?
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: Angela!
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: Are you okay? Angela, can you hear me?
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: Angela! God, she's a.
- 1:22:10Speaker 12: Boy.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: I think that's about it, but we do still have
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: Marlena's traumatic reveal of the... You were the only one
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: who didn't know what she was getting herself into, so
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: what's your final take on it? Are you ever going
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: to recover now?
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: She'll forget.
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: I'm going to have to watch something really funny to
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: forget about this.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: Disney movie, maybe.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: I said something really funny. I might watch Tangled before bed.
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: No, I'm kidding.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I've never seen it.
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: It's actually really good.
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: It's pretty well done.
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: As far as kids' movies go.
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: My niece really likes that one. All right. I think
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: we've traumatized enough people now, so.
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: I hate living by myself sometimes. Well, actually, no. Living
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: by myself... Awesome.
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: If you'd quit killing all those guys.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: In your rape closet.
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: Just having to go home after stuff like this by yourself.
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: And walk my dog outside in the creepy street.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: At least you're not down by the river anymore.
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: It was less creepy there, actually.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: Just because I lived there for so long.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: Well, now it's just open. One whole side, there was
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: nothing coming to get you except maybe a sea monster.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Yeah, hobos.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: Exactly. And they're all passed out.
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: The alley used to scare me.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: A lot.
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: And I never walked my dogs in the alley at night.
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: But then, you know, I got used to the alley.
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: I always walked them in the alley at night. In
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: the middle of the night. Four in the morning. And
- 1:23:37Speaker 7: it was no big deal. Because you know your neighbors
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: so well. And you, like, they're so close to you.
- 1:23:43Speaker 7: And you don't really feel scared. But I don't know
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: any of my neighbors. It's like everybody's just like a,
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: it's just like a house full of people that I've
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: never seen.
- 1:23:50Speaker 14: So.
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: That's weird.
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: That's weird about it.
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: I mean, they exist and they are like there.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: But.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: You don't talk to them. You don't know them by name.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: You don't know if they're all crazy. We got to
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: know our neighbor. Look where it got us. We're still fine.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Maybe that's a good thing.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: That's what saved you. I guess we'll go home.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Alone.
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: You guys might still be alive. I don't know what
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: will happen to either of us.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: We'll definitely be alive.
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: We're good. They're on.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: You'd be shit-faced out of luck to come in here.
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: She came in with that face. That face is impenetrable
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: to all weaponry. Okay. Otherwise, that about does it. We
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: will return next week. Same geek time, same geek feed.
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: Thanks for listening.
