- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: But I thought it was cool for AU team.

- 10:47SPEAKER_02: He goes, Why don't we just buy the song?
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: But he bought the rights to it.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: He still had to give them money.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he bought it.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he bought it from them.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: He paid for it.

- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Well, that's what, and he also got hung over the side of a balcony.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: He didn't make any money off that too.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: He makes a little bit now.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: Well, it's yeah, it's because he's a contractor in Florida.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: That's where he hangs out with uh bad mouth contracts or not.
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: I'm just saying he needs supplemental income.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: Florida man.

- 11:42SPEAKER_01: All right, you guys ready to do some stories?
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: What's our first one tonight?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: We got a bunch tonight, actually.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Uh here's our first one.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: This comes to us from Myrtle Beach, a uh former detective there, Michael DBASI.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: He was 46.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: He was arrested and fired after a little after allegedly pulling his department-issued handgun on another officer.
- 12:05SPEAKER_04: Oh.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: Now, I want to know from the two of you if this is justification for pulling a gun on somebody.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: The officer who is a coworker was microwaving fish.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 12:19SPEAKER_03: Yes, it is.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: I'm sure he did it for fun.
- 12:23SPEAKER_03: That or cauliflower, where it smells like arts.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: According to the arrest warrant, the uh fish created an odor in the office, leading to a confrontation.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: He's gonna do a desk pop.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: That reminds me of the other guys.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's a great movie.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna tell you what, I'd seen that and I thought it was fake.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: The story?
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the story.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: I was like, there ain't no way this is.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: DByasi was charged with pointing and presenting a firearm at a person, a felony in South Carolina that carries a potential sentence of up to five years in prison.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: I was honestly, the the first thing that popped in my head was I'm picturing myself as this DBASC guy, right?
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: And I gotta go home and tell AJ why I got fired.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: I'm like, baby.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: Why I'm in jail?
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: Why you gotta come home?
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: Baby, baby.
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: This guy was microwaving fish.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: They were salmon patties.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: Oh and I had this gun on my side.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: Like isn't good, anyways.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: How good can reheated fish actually be?
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Salmon patties would actually be good.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: That's silly.
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: You just eat them cold.
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: You do not put that shit in a phone.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: No, you throw that shit away when you're done.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: It had it run.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: You know, the hardest part about being in a in an office environment, I worked in an office for 20 years.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: And uh you're basically spending more time with those individuals than your own family members.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, honestly, awake.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, you wake up.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: That's true, you know.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: So for the most part, this is a family that you do not get to choose.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: But that means you also do not get to choose their bad habits or tell them that they can't have said bad habits.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Like there are so many things.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Like, um, I remember somebody coming up to me right after Kim had just started at Belden.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: What?
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: We're not saying anything about Belgium.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: But uh you But what happened?
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: You somebody came up and goes, So, what's up with these these burps?
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: Is this is this what she does?
- 14:28SPEAKER_04: It is what I do.
- 14:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's what she does.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: It is what I do, that's what she does.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: And so what it is is you're dealing with the negative like people that get sick and just snort and snot all day and all.
- 14:41SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
- 14:43SPEAKER_03: Oh no, you deal with people that have different tics and different things, and it's just like, are you kidding?
- 14:49SPEAKER_03: But I'm sure, like, obviously, some of my things were yeah.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Well, that's just life.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: I don't want you to get offended by it.
- 14:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I just never heard the story before.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, I saved the bitch.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: You're gonna find out who it is that day.
- 15:03SPEAKER_04: I am bitch.
- 15:06SPEAKER_04: I got beef now.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: Who am I unfriending?
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: No, who am I not unfriending on Facebook?
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: She sent me a message right away.
- 15:14SPEAKER_03: Well, I got beef with now.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Fuck your burps.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: The other thing that I struggled with were uh cell phones were newer.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: As I I'm 48.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: So when I first started, a lot of people didn't carry cell phones.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: Right, yeah.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: And then when they did, they would get to the point where they would start using them like a regular phone, like they were at home.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: And and the words talking loud.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: Talk it one-sided conversation, but talking about shit, like you should go to the bathroom to talk about this.
- 15:43SPEAKER_01: Or outside your car.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: I just got tested.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: I think you should get tested too.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: Nobody answers the phone anyway.
- 15:51SPEAKER_02: Nobody answers the phone now, anyway.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: So that's true.
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: I have shit screened.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: Probably Lisa.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: I'm sure that was probably one.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: I actually went to a company one time in uh Minnesota, and they had put in phone booths like what you see at Smiley's here locally.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, jeez.
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: But they had soundproofed.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can hear them.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: So you could go in there if you wanted to do a personal call.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I thought it was a great idea.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: Like you're at work and not be at work.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: You're in there going, I fucking hate this job.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: I'm not talking to anybody, but I'm interviewing for another job.
- 16:24SPEAKER_03: No, I was saying, like, you are supposed to be at work and you're like, oh no, it was a job.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: Don't tell me the HR department wasn't recording.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, there's there was something in there recording you.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: That's a oh my god.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Did you hear she's got the herpes just calling on it?
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Uh so there you go.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Michael DBasi is looking at jail time because he pulled a gun on somebody for microwave and fish.
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: I don't blame him.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: It's one of those like unwritten laws.
- 16:56SPEAKER_03: That and broccoli.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Broccoli?
- 16:58SPEAKER_03: Fish and broccoli.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: You just don't warm it up in the microwave.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: Brussels sprouts.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: Brussels sprouts.
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: In a like spinach.
- 17:06SPEAKER_03: Decentralized location.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: Cooked spinach.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Collard greens.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: Chitlins.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: Does it smell bad?
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Who the fuck is taking chitlins into your work?
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Oh no, I'm just saying.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: You're just naming off nasty food now.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: He is pig and testing.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: He's like stinky shit.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: What about uh the crackling that you put in the microwave?
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Pork crackling.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Pork cracklins are delicious.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: I know, but they stink.
- 17:29SPEAKER_03: We're not warming them up.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: You know what smells like?
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: They have a microwave bag you can put it in there and pop them.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Do you really?
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's fucked up.
- 17:37SPEAKER_03: That's weird.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: Ain't nobody taking that to work out there.
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: That's that's that's a fireable offense.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: All right, here's our second story.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: This comes to Nebraska, AJ, or excuse me, um Pud and I were talking about this one offline.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: There was a dog in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, who accidentally discharged a loaded shotgun inside a parked truck at a gas station.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: The blast went through the truck door, struck a woman sitting in a nearby light.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: How the hell did that dog do that?
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: It's honestly it's not that surprising.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: And I'll tell you this like Mike I love, my dogs love nothing more than escaping the little one anyway, escaping from the front yard.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Like I've, you know, like they always say, like, live like a dog that just escaped from the yard.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: My little dog is just like that, right?
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Out.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: But you take the both of them for a car ride, which they love.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: Dogs love car rides.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Yes, they do.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: But they are horrible car compatriots.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: Like they will not set steal.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: No, it doesn't matter if it's minus 20 out.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: I have to have all four windows open, and they have to be able to run back and forth.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: You're gonna have to wash all those windows.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, for sure.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for sure.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: So apparently, this guy parked his truck at a gas station, left a loaded shotgun in the backseat with his with a dog.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but like he had to have it caulked and everything.
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't know how I should have.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's the other thing.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: Well, it was probably loaded.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: It was probably loaded.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: And then the dog, you know, I could see it where he jumps up or jumps around, gets their little paws in there, and pow.
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: I mean, that that's but it had to have been cocked.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm sure it was though.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: Well, it was for a protection.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: By cocked, you mean it was there was one in the barrel.
- 19:25SPEAKER_02: Whatever was.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I'm sure there was.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, there was.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Well, obviously.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he shot a woman.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: I just want to know the woman had to call her insurance company and like, I have to get this vehicle fixed.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: Hey, I just side of my car looks like was it muck shot or slug?
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Uh well, she's alive.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: Her injuries weren't life-threatening.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: It went through the side of the car, the side of the truck, before it hit the woman.
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: Give me Christmas.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: And uh had to be a slug, man.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: Well, it might have been, but I just I'm picturing somebody having to call this in.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: What'd you do?
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: Don't shot you.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: Can you identify the shooter?
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: Uh long nose, kind of furry, velvet ears.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Like normally a good boy.
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: Sweet baby.
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: Sweet baby.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: Who's a good boy?
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: Could you imagine if it was a wiener wiener dog?
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: Shaped like a wiener.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: Shaped like a wiener.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: That's a huge thing.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: You guys ready for another story?
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: This comes to us from the great state of Indiana.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: This just happened last week.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it did.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: The Who's Your Lottery recently launched?
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: Oh, I saw this.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: A$5 Space Invaders Cash Invasion scratch off game.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: Have you heard the story?
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: No.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, you're gonna love this one.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: Multiple players reported that the amount revealed under a winning symbol did not match what the lottery scanner showed.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: So, you know how you you scratch it off and it shows like there was a little rocket ship.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: And if the rocket ship was uncovered, you won the prize that was directly below the rocket ship.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: Multiple people, including TV personality in Indianapolis, Angela Gannett or Ganote, um, who is uh she posted on Facebook a screenshot where she scratched a ticket that appeared to show that she had won a hundred thousand dollars.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: But when she scanned the ticket, the system reportedly showed a prize of only 20 bucks.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: Can you imagine winning?
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: And you think you go on a hundred grand and they walked inside and go, no, no, no, no.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: There's a glitch.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: It's I'm sorry.
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: You just got you got five gallons of gas.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: Like the lady that won the 43 million on a slot machine.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: You get a steak down.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: So this is it here.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: It's a little uh it's a little difficult to see.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's a camera there.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: Camera up topics.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: Pretty much like yeah, well, that's an example.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: So that that that hundred thousand matches the camera.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: You also see that rocket ship that's in the upper left that's under the uh the blight, the bright light.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, if there was something.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Directly under that, you win that as well.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: But uh, so multiple people have hit this thing, and I'm guessing that they don't want to pay it out.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: No, they do not.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: The Hoosier Lottery acknowledged a technical issue with the newly launched game and halted sales while investigating.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: They instructed players who believe their ticket payout is incorrect to contact the lottery and file dispute.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: By a dispute, they better be getting their fucking hundred thousand dollars.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: As much money as that place brings in, they're not gonna give a shit.
- 22:33SPEAKER_03: Show me the money.
- 22:34SPEAKER_02: You're gonna get your 20 bucks and a kick in the ass.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: That's all.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: You know what I didn't realize until recently, and uh because actually Epstein won some lottery money when he was in Florida, right?
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: So when they let's say they get up to when they get up to a billion, well, that's the whole point.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: But before we get so let's say they get up to a billion dollars, which is what you see now.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: The billion dollars is already with their money taken out, yeah.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: So they may have raised two billion dollars to give away that one billion dollar prize.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: So they've already profited by a billion bucks.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: But then if the individual takes the rapid payment, and let's say that only pays out five hundred million, they get to keep the other five million dollars.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: Keep the other five hundred million.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they do.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: And then you pay taxes on the 500, and I'm sure it it tabulates in.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: How does that work?
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: Well, that's the whole point.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: Because you're some bullshit.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Because you took it early.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I may not live longer than 10 years, especially if I won 500 million.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Betting on you taking it early.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: And that's how they put more money back.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: And so this I'm with Putnam on this one.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: This is a deal where they fucked up.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Somebody didn't do the machine right.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Pay them out.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: And now they don't want to pay.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: This is what he does.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: That slot machine.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: It's not me.
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: I bought that.
- 24:07SPEAKER_03: I scratched it off.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: Show me the money.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: Lady with the slot machine.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: She has a video and a picture.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: She won 43 million.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: Let it burn, baby.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: I'll cut a bitch.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: I uh I gotta tell you, and I am a big fan, a big supporter of uh police departments and and sheriffs, and and uh I think we should do everything we can to help promote our first responders, but I have fallen in love with this new video trend on social media where and I'm sure it's not new, I just for some reason it popped into my algorithm.
- 24:40SPEAKER_03: Is this one I sent you?
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: I don't know, maybe a lady getting pulled over?
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: So I have I have fallen in love with uh people that are in positions of what they consider to be authority that then decide to overindulge on their privileges.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: So I love watching these guys but get put in their you know in their place.
- 25:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's like the the wife of a you did not just see me do this because I couldn't have done that.
- 25:11unknown: Right.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Well, it's not even that, it's just like anyway.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: Are you talking about the lady that had a so Kathleen Thomas a 36-year-old adaptive athlete from Lake Worth Beach in Florida?
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: She was pulled over by a deputy who claimed he saw her holding and manipulating his cell phone with a right hand.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: Problem, old Kathleen was born without a right hand.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: She got that and he doubled down on it.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: But my favorite part of the whole video footage.
- 25:45SPEAKER_04: Are we good now?
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Is no, when he asked her, he goes, So you weren't on the phone?
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: And she goes, No, and he goes, right hand of God, you weren't on the phone.
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: She holds up a nub and she holds up her nub.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: She goes, So this cop that you're seeing right here, he's like, Do you just want to go ahead and call this?
- 26:03SPEAKER_03: She goes, Do you just want to call it a day?
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, I I just hand of God.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Hand of God, you weren't just on the phone.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: No.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: She just you gotta listen to the audio of that.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: But the this video of this stuff is still.
- 26:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he pulled her over saying that she was holding her phone, texting with her right hand.
- 26:24SPEAKER_03: She still got a ticket.
- 26:25SPEAKER_03: Specified.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: He really still got a ticket.
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: She goes, Okay, we'll fight it, and went to court and got, I guess it got tossed out, but what was she holding it with the one hand that should have been holding the steering wheel?
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: The nub.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: One of them new cell phone holders.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: On her arm?
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: She had to call.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: According to the body cam footage, when the deputy told her he saw the phone in her right hand, she simply held up her.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: She goes, obviously not.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: So you want to call this a day?
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Uh despite that, the deputy continued the stop, eventually issued her a hundred and sixteen dollar distracted driving citation.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: One of the more awkward moments came when the deputy asked her, hand of God.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: She holds up a nub with the other hand of God.
- 27:18SPEAKER_02: What a dick.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: I'm driving with my left.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: This is just why do you want to be a dick to me?
- 27:23SPEAKER_03: And he wanted to like prove a point, and he still ended up ticketing her.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: Because he's he's hard fighting, he's a dick.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: Like she said, call it a dick.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Man, these are people that take a dick.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: They can't admit when they're wrong.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: This is like my ex-wife.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Remember to do it.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: I was going to say it was because he was a male, but whatever.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: He takes back their leg.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: What they don't listen.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 27:49SPEAKER_03: And pow goes, Scott already has her hand.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: He goes, This ticket's gonna cost you an arm and a leg.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: Or at least a hand.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's oh man.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: She must have stole something in the Middle East.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: At least that cop could have been like, you know what?
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: You got me.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: I thought, you know, I mean, kind of shit like you're talking about.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: I thought I saw that, but Seinfeld did a whole episode about Danny Tartable was in the car with uh George Costanza, yeah, where he thought a guy had flipped him off in traffic and they followed him, and he was supposed to take Danny Tartable to like a signing.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: And it and when he finally got up to the guy, he had a cast on his arm and it was just stuck like that.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love watching people that think they're in the right get put in the wrong.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: No.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Uh you would have thought at a certain point you just gotta admit you made a mistake.
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he tucked out.
- 28:48SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 28:48SPEAKER_03: My bad.
- 28:49SPEAKER_03: I thought I saw what I saw.
- 28:50SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 28:51SPEAKER_03: You go and have it a good day.
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: You have a good day.
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: All right, here's our second story.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: This comes to us from uh the U.S.
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: Army.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: This was announced last month in April.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: I guess it's two months now.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Uh the U.S.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: Army announced a new combat field test, CFT for soldiers, and 24 combat-related specialties such as infantry, armor, special forces, combat engineering.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: I thought I would uh ask all of you how long it would take you to train to pass said test.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Oh god, it depends what you're doing.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: AJ was in the army, so I asked AJ about it, and she's like, they didn't have that.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: They didn't have that, they didn't have that.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: They're adding shit, which is funny because you think in America they would have to un-add shit.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: But uh here's all the things.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: Jeremy, I want to know if you can do this too.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Um, that you have to accomplish in 30 minutes or less.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: I'm out.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: I mean you'll get it eat a pizza.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: Does it involve a nap?
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: Uh the test is designed to mimic battlefield demands and must be completed, as I mentioned, in 30 minutes while wearing combat boots and a uniform.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: The first is a one-mile run, so you immediately run a mile.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 30:05SPEAKER_03: That's 45 minutes for the 30 minutes.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: Then you got to do 30 dead stop push-ups.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: Then you've got to do a hundred-meter sprint, which is like a hundred-yard dash.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: Then you got to lift 16 uh lifts of a 40-pound sandbag onto a 65-inch platform.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: I've played golf with sandbaggers.
- 30:29SPEAKER_03: It's not fun.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, shit.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: Jeez.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: Then you got to do a 50-meter carry, so 50-yard dash, more or less, with two 40, 40-pound water cans in each hand.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: So one is eight.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Then you got to do a five-meter high or 50-meter high crawl rush drill.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: And then at the end, you've got to do another one mile run.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: Holy cow.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: In 30 minutes.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: 30 minutes?
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: Does it take me 15 just to do half a mile?
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: Dalton, I could do it in eight months.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: Challenge yourself.
- 31:04SPEAKER_03: No, I think I could because like are you saying in eight months you can do that in 30 minutes?
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: Or are you saying it's going to take eight months to fulfill all of that?
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Let me do eight months of training.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: There's the R because I know I know how to do that because I've pushed it for miles.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: So you got to go all the way down, stop.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: You run your mile in eight minutes, so just do an eight-minute mile at 16 minutes.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: Dude, I'll give you eight months to just do an eight-minute mile.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: I can do that.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: Nothing else.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: Hey, what's the wager?
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: What's the wager?
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: 20 bucks.
- 31:33SPEAKER_03: I got 20 on it.
- 31:34SPEAKER_03: 20 bucks.
- 31:35SPEAKER_03: I got 20 on it.
- 31:36SPEAKER_03: 20, 20, 20.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Your health isn't enough of a no, I'm 50 years old.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you might have a heart attack again.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: Make it laugh, you know.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: At what point do you quit and be like, man, I should have studied harder instead of trying to understand.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: I'll give you a chance.
- 31:54SPEAKER_03: Maybe in eight months we should do this.
- 31:55SPEAKER_03: Let me give you a lot of things.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: All of us train for this.
- 31:57SPEAKER_03: And we'll give me a few minutes.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Let me give you guys an example of what I'm talking about.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: Ashley challenged me.
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: Well, it got brought up.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: She said I couldn't ride from here to Muncie or from here too.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, I heard this story.
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: Muncie to Richmond.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: You had to buy pillows for your.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter how I got it done.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: But what it what the bet was.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: How chief was your ass?
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Dude, let me tell the story.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: How long did it take?
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: I'm going to tell you.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: So she bet me, and that made me mad because I, you know what?
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: I might be fat, but I I can do this.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: And I didn't choose, you ain't rode a bike, you can't, you haven't trained.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: I was like, I can do it.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: So I get up to Muncy, we pull the trailer up.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: I said, take me to Muncie first, drop me off, and I'll ride back.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: The kids landing and chafing were young and they're like, we're doing it with you.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: I'm like, awesome.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: So we get up there, she lets me go.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: We get it, we start going, and it's the first mile in.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Because you know, if you're on that trail, it has the rocks.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Oh, first mile.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: I'm going, I can't fucking do this.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: I can't, I can't do it.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: I said, I'm dying.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: And Javin, Javin looked at me and he goes, Let's go.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: He said, Are you serious?
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: We ain't letting her win.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: I was like, you know what?
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 33:13SPEAKER_04: You're right.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: So we're riding.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: We get about 15 miles down the road.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: He goes, My butt's hurting.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: I said, dude, I'm about to die.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: So I pulled into Dollar General right there at LaSantville.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: I said, hey kids, little pit stop.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: I bought three pillows and duct tape, and I duct taped pillows to our seat to get that ride done.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Jeremy's like, I can't finish.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: This feels like it did it.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: And I did it.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: Hey, seven and a half hours.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: Did it really?
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: You did it.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: 47 miles, seven and a half hours, we did it.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: So I went two.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: And one a drun.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: And one a drum.
- 33:47SPEAKER_03: I went to Muncie, but like my prize was Olive Garden.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Mine was a drum.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: Ooh, I would like Olive Garden.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: Hey, I if I would have, if I would have researched, if you would go from Richmond to Muncie, it's all downhill.
- 33:59SPEAKER_03: Yes, it is.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: If you go from Muncie to Richmond, I rode uphill.
- 34:02SPEAKER_03: So I was like, shit.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: You just gotta get one of them E-powered bikes now.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's different, but yeah.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: Did you have like elephantitis when you were done?
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: Like your shit was all swollen.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: It was bad.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: He couldn't even sit down to go to the bathroom yet and just like plunk.
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Hey, I did it.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: So that that I could do that.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know that I can do it.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: So you just told me that a 40-mile bike ride.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: 47 mile.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: Don't cut me short.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: 47.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: You're gonna exaggerate.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Exaggerate that shit up to 50 or 10.
- 34:32SPEAKER_03: You're gonna be able to do this.
- 34:33SPEAKER_03: Eight months from now, you're gonna do this.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I know what you got to do for that because I've had to train for a mile.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: I've ran a mile in my life, six minutes, 27 seconds.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you've got to run two.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Do it now in your 40s, Buck.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: In the sprints, you could do it.
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, you eight months to train for that, you could do it.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: You'd have to go out there every day, run.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Superman used to be able to walk down the street.
- 34:55SPEAKER_03: I could do it.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: Let's mark this eight months from now.
- 34:57SPEAKER_03: We're gonna try this.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: You like that joke?
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: I gotta have motivation.
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: We're all gonna see what our what our motivation is and what we can do.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have motivation.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: I'll just I'll do it.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 35:08SPEAKER_03: I'm in parametopause.
- 35:10SPEAKER_03: We'll just see what happens.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: Sure, why not?
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: Eight months.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: Dalton, you in?
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: Fuck.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: No, I'll be the only one that's logical enough to say that shit ain't gonna happen.
- 35:19SPEAKER_03: You can't be driving by with a microphone.
- 35:21SPEAKER_03: Look what these guys are doing.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: All right, well, it's on.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: So when is eight months from today?
- 35:25SPEAKER_03: So let's see.

- 35:28SPEAKER_01: July, August, September, umbrella, November, December, January.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: No, yeah.
- 35:32SPEAKER_03: We can't do it in January.
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: That's gonna suck for December.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: It's cold as shit.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: December.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: You gotta do it in December.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: Outside.
- 35:40SPEAKER_01: It don't fucking matter if you're a fucking ballish.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: That's a different type of training.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: That's a different type of training.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: Do you think they tell these kids, like, hey man, we only allow people to come in in summer months?
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: Well, we gotta go to the Arizona, the desert.
- 35:53unknown: Jeez.
- 35:54SPEAKER_03: Who's paying for this?
- 35:55SPEAKER_03: Oh shit.
- 35:56SPEAKER_03: Patreon sponsors.
- 35:57SPEAKER_03: Patreon sponsors.
- 35:58SPEAKER_03: You want to see this happen?
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, no.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: I got an idea.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: We'll do it when we go to Goodyear for spring training.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Pull them greens out of them jeans.
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: Let's show some Patreon sponsorship here.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:08SPEAKER_03: Oh, you guys are so full of shit.

- 36:16SPEAKER_01: So you kidding?
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: I'm afraid to fall down.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: Like a turtle.
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: Just leave me here.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: Go on without me.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: I'll have fine.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: I'll be fine.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: Like the brother on the story.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: I'm a P.O.W.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: now.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 36:33SPEAKER_01: Lieutenant Danger.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: Speaking of doing extracurricular activities that lead to possible issues here, a 51-year-old Japanese man suffered a sub- uh chronic hemorrhage.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: He's still near that.
- 36:49SPEAKER_01: Sub- Yeah.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: Bleeding around the brain immediately after orgasm during masturbation.
- 36:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, so he had a stroke while stroking.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: He was hitting that hard, bro.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: He was overthinking that shit.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: Dude, I'm telling you, this VR heads.
- 37:05SPEAKER_03: He stroked it to the left.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: He must have been saving that up for a week.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: No doubt.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: He experienced a sudden, severe thunderclap headache that peaked within about a minute.
- 37:15SPEAKER_03: A thunderclap.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: That's what he described it.
- 37:17SPEAKER_01: That's what the label is.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: He's looking at thunder cheeks.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: Repeated vomiting.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: Where did that come from?
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: He was thunderclapping something.
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: Uh doctors later determined he had suffered a brain hemorrhage caused by a tear and an artery supplying the brain.
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: He survived after hospitalization and treatment.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: You got to loosen that noose up a little bit while you're doing that.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: I'm picturing him just crawling across the floor.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: Oh my head, it's cool me.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: And he's throwing up and he's like, I've got to clear that search history.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: I can't go out like this.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: You think he thought about masturbating again before?
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: Probably did in the hospital.
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: Wanker.
- 37:59SPEAKER_02: Wanka.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: You know, Wanks.
- 38:01SPEAKER_03: It was one of them Wanka strokes.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: And there is pictures, Anne.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: There is pictures.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: It said uh the orgasm itself didn't magically cause the brain bleed.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: The likely culprit was an underlying weakness in a blood vessel that ruptured during a temporary spike in blood pressure associated with sexual activity.
- 38:21SPEAKER_01: He must have been just wearing this.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: He must have been banking that shit.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: He was wearing that apologies.
- 38:26SPEAKER_03: They should show this in sex ed and be like, look, here's what happens.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: So you're saying at 51, I gotta be careful.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so you're saying at 51, watch out.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: He was probably pumping the couch on that.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: Oh man, this is way better than trying to tell him.
- 38:40SPEAKER_03: Is he pumping the couch?
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: He's probably putting it between the cushions and gum.
- 38:44SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, are you kidding me right now?
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: That JD Vance did that.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Talks about it in his book.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just kidding.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: Got her there for a second.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: She's like, well, he is from.
- 38:59SPEAKER_03: Sorry, I haven't read a book for a while.
- 39:01SPEAKER_01: He left a wank stain.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: No, that was the big joke about him.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: But um apparently uh medical experts know that strokes on a I it's funny to read the word strokes in this box.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: You stroke, you stroke brain hemorrhage triggered during sex or orgasm are extremely rare and usually involve people with pre-existing risk factors such as high blood pressure, aneurysms, or weakened blood vessels.
- 39:29SPEAKER_01: I heard so stroke.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: We were on a high blood pressure.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: I've got another story coming up about a cruise.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: And uh my mom is kind of like me, she's not afraid to ask anybody anything.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: And so we were on this cruise ship and and we asked, I'm like, you know, you're at sea for eight days.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: Like, what happens if somebody dies?
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: They put you in a cooler.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: They have a morgue downstairs.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: And they say typically when they stop at an excursion, they will try to unload the body and have it flown back to wherever it had to go.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: Can you request to be just dumped to sea overseeing?
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: Dump me in the sea, dump me in the sea.
- 40:10SPEAKER_03: Do not put me in a refrigerator, do not send me back there.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: Well, apparently a guy had uh died.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: Antivirus.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: No, in the moment of sexual blah blah blah.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: Maybe not in, but the the whole point of it, he was on the trip with his girlfriend, mistress, while his wife was at home.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: So when they contacted the first akin, which is the wife, she said, Fuck him.
- 40:37SPEAKER_03: Fuck him, toss him over the ship.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: Left him on the ship.
- 40:41unknown: Yeah.
- 40:41SPEAKER_01: What else are you gonna do with it?
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: I I at that point, I think you either toss him, put him on the buffet, or let the girlfriend figure it out.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: He was supposed to be in New York for work, right?
- 40:51SPEAKER_03: That's going back home.
- 40:54SPEAKER_03: Stroke free since 2003.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: Uh the good news, the man survived.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: I feel bad.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: You're joking.
- 41:09SPEAKER_01: Maybe he's serious.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Maybe he had a stroke in 2003.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Bubba?
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Bubba didn't have no stroke.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: Well, how do you know?
- 41:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that doesn't mean people have strokes at all ages.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: I know the guy, he's not had a fucking stroke.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: How do you know that?
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: Maybe he got all his shit back.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: Bubba, chime in.
- 41:27SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I didn't mean he was the F-bomb, but well, no, the only point I'm like, if he's just making a joke, then that is funny.
- 41:34SPEAKER_03: But if not, it's like SCD free 2003.
- 41:38SPEAKER_03: It's just a rhymey thing.
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, I got you.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: I know, but I don't have TikTok.
- 41:44unknown: I don't.
- 41:45SPEAKER_04: Who has it on Tiki?
- 41:47SPEAKER_02: I don't have SCD jokes like you do.
- 41:50SPEAKER_02: He doesn't joke about his venereal diseases.
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: He only has STDs.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: You don't have the dictionary.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: Only to the doctor.
- 41:56SPEAKER_03: Only to the doctor.
- 41:58SPEAKER_00: I am.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: Well, at least the guy survived, I guess.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: I bet you he's still jacked off.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: He's like, am I good?
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: Who was he jacking off?
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: Hey, what do you think he was jacking off to?
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: Asian porn.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: Midship porn.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Asian porn.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: Probably American.
- 42:14SPEAKER_01: It would be the opposite.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: Round eye porn.
- 42:18unknown: Oh my god.
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: What'd you say?
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: Round eye porn.
- 42:21SPEAKER_03: Round eye porn.
- 42:22SPEAKER_03: Round eye.
- 42:23SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: I'm out.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 42:27SPEAKER_02: We all got something to Google tonight when we go home.
- 42:30SPEAKER_02: I'm out.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: No, that's that's what they I'm sure they call us.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: Round eyes.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: What would they call you?
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: Oh man.
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: White Buddha.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: White Buddha.
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: White chocolate Buddha.
- 42:44SPEAKER_01: White devil.
- 42:46SPEAKER_01: White devil starfish.
- 42:48SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 42:51SPEAKER_03: I don't want to know.
- 42:52SPEAKER_03: Please don't hurt my feelings, real quick.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: Round eye.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: I just got it.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: I got shit on for making fun of me.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: There goes my career in politics.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: Ah, so my bitch, it's over.
- 43:05SPEAKER_03: I was just running for mayor this week.
- 43:07SPEAKER_03: It's fine.
- 43:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: Uh all right.
- 43:11SPEAKER_01: Here's our next story.
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: Jericho High School, Nassau County, Long Island.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: Uh, big graduation, 300 seniors, like what Kimmy and I graduated with.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: Interesting year though, my son, who was also one of these, was a valedictorian.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Now, when Logan was a valedictorian, uh, it was him and another young lady.
- 43:32SPEAKER_01: So it's two valedictorians.
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: It's not true.
- 43:35SPEAKER_03: Co.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: It's not true.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: You can't be co.
- 43:37SPEAKER_01: Well, it's funny you say that because in Nassau County, uh, they don't have one or two.
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: They have 21 valedictorians.
- 43:45SPEAKER_01: That's northeastern.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: That's northeastern.
- 43:48SPEAKER_02: Well, that's where my son went.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: Did you see the school in Hawaii?
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:51SPEAKER_02: It's 77.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: 77 validorians.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: The classes are 600.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: Holy stuff.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: It's because they don't want every they want everybody to feel good.
- 43:59SPEAKER_00: Well, it's not
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Even that, why is it that easy to get straight A's for four years?
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: There's some uh it's not.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: Don't you actually it is don't ask me, I hear wrong questions.
- 44:08SPEAKER_03: Don't you remember the chemistry messed me up?
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: Don't you remember the thing at Northeastern where traden got mad because he was the clear valedictorian and by a couple percentage points, however that was all, and they said no.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: And they had six valedictorians and they made them all and they wouldn't let them do he was the reason they wouldn't do live speeches, they made them pre-record.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: Well, that when we were talking about that with idiot.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he dropped the mic.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: He didn't, he's he just threw the mic.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: When was this?
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: Uh when Carson graduated, two years ago, three years ago.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: That was crazy.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: People were like, holy sh I don't know.
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: He did a mic drop moment at a high school graduation.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: He said good luck and he threw the mic down.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: I want to hear this whole story.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: I'm just telling you, it was a big deal because trade and I'm I mean, he's Carson's friend, and he was he worked for that.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: He didn't play some sports, he wanted to be the val, he wanted to be the clear number one.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: And so he made sure that he was number one.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: Took the classes, did everything extra, all that.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: He was the clear number one.
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: They didn't give him his honor.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: Well, why didn't they give it to him then?
- 45:12SPEAKER_00: They said because all the other five ones were just right there with him, and they made them all.
- 45:17SPEAKER_01: So he was a co-valedictorian.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but he was the clear winner.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: They even had it lined up that way, too.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: They wouldn't give it to him.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: So he was pissed.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: Well, it's uh it's interesting to me because my son, who was valedictorian, who had taken all nothing but X-level courses, you know, college level, advanced, advanced, thank you.
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: And uh the individual that he tied with did not, and I'm not saying that that doesn't make them less of a person, but it all gets back.
- 45:48SPEAKER_01: We're Gen Xers, we weren't participation trophy people.
- 45:52SPEAKER_01: No, we were not.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: No, we weren't.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you got something, you earned it, right?
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: And so now you have these 21 kids, at least at this one high school, that all earn the status.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: Uh Putin's telling me a story where there's 70 kids in Hawaii.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: Lucky bastards, like you don't need anything else going for you.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: You get to live in Hawaii.
- 46:14SPEAKER_03: Sorry, I didn't make valedictorian this year.
- 46:16SPEAKER_03: I was out surfing.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: The uh school determines valedictorians.
- 46:20SPEAKER_01: Uh, the co-principal, that's funny.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: Co-principal.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there you go.
- 46:25SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 46:26SPEAKER_01: This is from New York.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: It shows a lot of success.
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: Historically, this is the way that we've done it with letter grades.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: The difference between 99.8 and 99.83 is insignificant.
- 46:38SPEAKER_01: So letter grades really capture what we represent.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: Here's my problem: how do this many kids go to school for four years?
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: And all of these kids, 21, are able to get nothing but straight.
- 46:53SPEAKER_01: I I thought I was a smart kid.
- 46:55SPEAKER_01: And I went to Ball State and busted my ass.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: And I know my junior senior year, and uh oh man.
- 47:03SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: I knew the world needed dish diggers.
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: That's where I was at.
- 47:10SPEAKER_01: But anyway, I finished on the dean's list, but I busted my ass, and I still didn't get it.
- 47:15SPEAKER_01: And all the every one of these kids was able to get straight A's for four years.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: When we were in school, though, the scale stopped at four.
- 47:23unknown: Yeah.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: Now the scale is like a 4.5.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: Well, that's the whole point.
- 47:27SPEAKER_03: What's extra credit?
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: You know what you've just basically done is made valedictory and not meaning in fairness.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: My son, who went to ball state or excuse me, Purdue, graduated with uh mechanical smart kids, smart as a whip.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: He got like strong as shit, too.
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, strong.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: He yeah, yeah, and he's good with mulch today.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he helped AJ out with the mulch.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: Um he got 1,200 whole dollars in scholarships for being the valedictorian.
- 47:54SPEAKER_01: Are you serious?
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah,$1,200.
- 47:56SPEAKER_03: Hey, good.
- 47:57SPEAKER_03: There you go, kid.
- 47:58SPEAKER_03: Here you go.
- 47:58SPEAKER_03: Being Daddy Dalton's pain.
- 48:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, mommy helped out too.
- 48:02SPEAKER_01: I'll give her, and he did.
- 48:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, it's it's and I will say this Purdue is a very economical scheme.
- 48:09SPEAKER_02: Because they haven't raised prices in what five years.
- 48:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, I you know, I'm not I will never hate on Purdue.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they said they did this year.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: Well I can tell you this, he had to live in uh an apartment the last two years because they don't have enough student housing.
- 48:22SPEAKER_01: But uh he graduated with 10,000 kids too.
- 48:25SPEAKER_03: Holy shit.
- 48:26SPEAKER_03: Oh wow, yeah, yeah.
- 48:28SPEAKER_03: They had to do it over what four days?
- 48:30SPEAKER_01: Two days, but it was like five different graduations.
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, it was a lot.
- 48:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's a big school, but fuck Ohio State's bigger than that.
- 48:38SPEAKER_01: But Ohio State has 50,000 underclassmen.
- 48:43SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 48:45SPEAKER_01: It's a lot of people all coming for your job.
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: Well, no, AI is doing that.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: Uh, with a such a large number of valedictorians, not all of them will be able to give a commencement speech.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: So school officials have agree have an idea to get creative.
- 49:03SPEAKER_01: Uh, they're going to put them at the front of the procession.
- 49:06SPEAKER_01: Wow, big fucking deal.
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: And we're also creating a 10-second clip.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: You're right.
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: That's the other.
- 49:12SPEAKER_03: Hello, I'm Karen.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: Oh man, what time is it?
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: Man, we are slow tonight.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: I've got all kinds of shit still.
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: 9 27.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know what?
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: I will I'll save some of these.
- 49:23SPEAKER_01: I've got one more story I want to do because I'm really interested to hear everybody's opinion on this one.
- 49:28SPEAKER_01: And uh, well, I already did that one, so that's good.
- 49:32SPEAKER_01: I came extra prepared tonight.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: I hope you guys noticed that.
- 49:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: I tried to not spend so much time just me blabbering about shit that bothers me.
- 49:40SPEAKER_03: I haven't even had to take a potty break.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I am refocused.
- 49:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, see?
- 49:44SPEAKER_01: There it is.
- 49:45SPEAKER_01: Refocus.
- 49:46SPEAKER_01: Give him a fucking participation drink.
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: We don't do participation.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: This is my uh my last story, and this I mentioned a second ago about uh AI coming for people's jobs, and that's reality.
- 49:59SPEAKER_01: Um people first of all, a company only pays you because they have to.
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: And their whole goal is to pay you just one dollar more than what it takes for you to put it.
- 50:11SPEAKER_03: But I can tell you that I don't know that I'm wrong.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: No, but here, but at the end of the day, you have to have people that know how to utilize AI efficiently and effectively.
- 50:25SPEAKER_03: So you're still gonna need people.
- 50:26SPEAKER_03: I I it was just my thing.
- 50:28SPEAKER_03: I'll tell you stepping out.
- 50:29SPEAKER_00: I figured you might bring this up tonight, and there's two girls that work at my work in the customer service, young girls love them to death, they're awesome.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: They literally were talking about AI to me two days ago and how we're all gonna be doomed in three years, and there's gonna be no water.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: No water.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: And I said, What's the water got to do?
- 50:51SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be no water in the AI, it's gonna be bad, bad, bad, and people need to knock it off with the AI.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: I would love to chat with him.
- 51:01SPEAKER_03: I still have to have people that know how to utilize it.
- 51:04SPEAKER_01: I don't disagree with him that it's uh it's not necessarily a good thing.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's kind of like Jurassic Park.
- 51:11SPEAKER_03: It was the whole thing with the scientists, you know, where they said it's I don't think Jurassic Park was that great of an idea.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: That's the whole point before all shit.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: That would be awesome, though.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: I would do the Jurassic Park show.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: Oh man, squirrel.
- 51:25SPEAKER_01: We're on to this one.
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: No, the whole point of the AI for me is is simply this like it it's clearly gonna replace certain jobs that are current jobs.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: A lot of entry-level jobs are gonna be gone, right?
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: But it will also create certain things, like it um, you know, there were people in the past that their job was to go around and light gas lanterns at night.
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: Right, you know what I mean?
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: There was guys that used to believe that you had to work in a coal mine your whole life to be successful, and the point being is jobs get replaced.
- 51:59SPEAKER_03: Well, and I can tell you you've used AI.
- 52:02SPEAKER_03: I've used AI, I use AI.
- 52:04SPEAKER_03: I love it, however, you still have to talk it through some stuff.
- 52:07SPEAKER_03: Well, but yeah.
- 52:08SPEAKER_03: So it's still gonna need people to talk it through to get the right answer because it's not gonna give you a right answer all the time.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: Welcome to dating somebody, except for the drive-thru's the drive-thru's drive me nuts.
- 52:22SPEAKER_00: Automated Lee's chicken's one of them.
- 52:25SPEAKER_03: I don't, yeah, Lee's chicken.
- 52:26SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't want one of those sauces.
- 52:29SPEAKER_03: This is what I want.
- 52:31SPEAKER_00: It's exhausting.
- 52:32SPEAKER_00: Such a wipe.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: And it's like definitely a first world problem.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I gotta tell you, I hate them too.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: I hate, I hate them.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: I just want to fuck with them.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: Cheerio, motherfucker.
- 52:45SPEAKER_01: Go ahead with your story.
- 52:46SPEAKER_01: This is apologize.
- 52:47SPEAKER_01: No, it's nothing to apologize for.
- 52:49SPEAKER_01: I I think we could do multiple shows on AI.
- 52:52SPEAKER_01: I uh it's it's coming.
- 52:53SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, the world is I'm with these kids, except water is not going to be the problem.
- 52:59SPEAKER_01: No, and what I mean by that is desalination.
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: Well, desalination is amazing.
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: Like there are certain countries, like the Middle East.
- 53:08SPEAKER_01: That's how Iran was going after UAE and a lot of those.
- 53:12SPEAKER_01: They was scaring them for desalination.
- 53:14SPEAKER_01: They can take salt water and take the salt out of it.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: It's done.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: It can be done.
- 53:20SPEAKER_01: A lot of uh countries in the uh Caribbean do that now because they don't get a lot of rain.
- 53:25SPEAKER_01: Like Aruba.
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they can't go and you just change the pH.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: But I know what they're trying to, it's not gonna be natural water, spring water.
- 53:33SPEAKER_01: It's you know, but uh I don't know.
- 53:36SPEAKER_01: Anyway, AI.
- 53:38SPEAKER_01: Here's a growing trend in China.
- 53:40SPEAKER_01: I would love to get people's opinion on this, especially not just us, but AJ and people that are watching as well.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: There's a growing trend in China among younger people that are creating AI versions of their former relationship partners.
- 53:57SPEAKER_03: Oh, what?
- 53:58SPEAKER_03: No, thanks.
- 53:59SPEAKER_03: I'm good.
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: No, it's funny because that's immediately Jeremy's like, I just want one last piece of that.
- 54:08SPEAKER_01: And it's nothing to do with that, Jeremy, but that's funny.
- 54:12SPEAKER_01: It's such an American way to look at it.
- 54:15SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 54:15SPEAKER_01: Um, users say they can feed the module materials like photos and social media posts, as well as custom descriptions from their previous relationships.
- 54:25SPEAKER_01: It's a uh open source module called ex.skill.
- 54:29SPEAKER_03: Uh aka liar.
- 54:31SPEAKER_01: It's behind the trend.
- 54:33SPEAKER_01: And uh apparently the whole concept is that uh these jilted lovers can talk to their AI ex.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: And really Oh my god.
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: Nah, we're good.
- 54:45SPEAKER_01: Well, it mimics their hell wants to talk to their ex.
- 54:50SPEAKER_03: It's gonna lie back to me.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: Uh, for a lot of people, it's it's about getting closure.
- 54:56SPEAKER_01: And it's about saying I'm not saying what you want to get off your chest without saying it to the real person.
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: Oh shit.
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: I got fuck.
- 55:05SPEAKER_02: And uh, let me write this down real quick.
- 55:09SPEAKER_02: What's this?
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: It's a 20-minute voice message website.
- 55:13SPEAKER_01: Yes, not skill.
- 55:14SPEAKER_01: They say the project is for personal reflection and emotional healing only, not for harassment, stalking, or privacy invasion.
- 55:23SPEAKER_01: Uh so really it's for people that cannot get over a relationship, or their entrance doesn't like pay for a psychiatrist.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: Well, there you go.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: That's why they're coping with it.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: It's not even just that.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: A lot of companies now will pay for health.
- 55:39SPEAKER_03: Oh mental health.
- 55:40SPEAKER_03: I have telehealth completely paid for.
- 55:43SPEAKER_01: There's not a lot of people that are wanting to major in it.
- 55:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 55:47SPEAKER_01: There it's it's another because everybody's fucking crazy.
- 55:51SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't think it pays that well.
- 55:54SPEAKER_03: There's lots of diversity in that.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no shit.
- 55:57SPEAKER_01: And I think they have to go through issues with trying to get reimbursed for their finances and things like that.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: We talk about mental health in this country, and we talk about it every week on the show or every other week.
- 56:09SPEAKER_01: I'm we're big proponents of mental health, and that's what this is all about.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: This whole AI thing, like in this example, is for some people, to Jeremy to your point or Gibler to yours, that can't afford AI or they don't want to be judged by an actual person.
- 56:26SPEAKER_01: Judgy bitch.
- 56:27SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, I mean, honestly, how many people haven't actually gone to have meant like a mental health are you worried about with like a psychiatrist or a psychologist or whatever because it's an actual person and they fear of judgment.
- 56:43SPEAKER_03: Where if it was AI, they might feel more comfortable.
- 56:45SPEAKER_01: So would you be more comfortable talking to a therapist that was AI?
- 56:49SPEAKER_03: Are you telling me I need therapy?
- 56:52SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm joking, I'm joking.
- 56:54SPEAKER_03: And fair is you've been through a lot of shit.
- 56:57SPEAKER_03: Well, I don't know.
- 56:57SPEAKER_02: It depends on what this AI says back to me.
- 56:59SPEAKER_02: It's like a boy's dog at told him to kill everybody.
- 57:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 57:06SPEAKER_03: How accurate is AI for this?
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: Because like I don't want to go all of that.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: Well, to your point, honestly, that's not why I wouldn't go to a therapist, is the fear of being judged.
- 57:17SPEAKER_01: That's what they do.
- 57:18SPEAKER_01: It's it's just like going to a doctor and them telling me I'm fat.
- 57:21SPEAKER_01: I'm like, well, I know that.
- 57:23SPEAKER_00: A lot of people told me that one time.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: If I want to be called fat, I go hang out with my friends.
- 57:26SPEAKER_02: I do it all the time.
- 57:28SPEAKER_02: I go back home.
- 57:29SPEAKER_03: But I am telling you right now that there is a there's a severe thing about white coat syndrome where it's like you're afraid to go to the regular doctor, the dentist, the all of the different doctors because you don't want to hear bad news.
- 57:44SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 57:44SPEAKER_03: So you just don't go, and it's an actual person, and you're more like you're more feeling like sometimes it's a little bit harder coming from an actual person.
- 57:54SPEAKER_02: I don't know, like I always say I was perfectly healthy until I went to the doctor.
- 57:57SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 57:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I can tell you this as a gentleman that uh you know, I lost my father at 55 years old.
- 58:06SPEAKER_01: And um we uh my stepson um just lost someone that was significant in his life in his early 50s, and people die all the time, and it is what it is, it is, and people are dropping dead at our age, and it's it's scary.
- 58:24SPEAKER_01: So why wouldn't you take the good news or the bad news?
- 58:28SPEAKER_01: I want the news.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: Well, has it gotta be good or bad?
- 58:31SPEAKER_01: Just give me the news.
- 58:32SPEAKER_01: Just no, hear me out on this, right?
- 58:34SPEAKER_01: I am the whole point of going to the doctor is because they have developed medical processes that hopefully will catch anything that's early on in the process so that it can be healed.
- 58:46SPEAKER_01: It's all about develop so basically it's kind of like you know, people can you can love technology with your phone and this or that, but when it comes to health, you want to be Amish.
- 58:58SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 58:59SPEAKER_03: It's like but no, like there, I've I've seen some people that they they haven't been to the doctor for so long that they're almost embarrassed to go.
- 59:08SPEAKER_03: You can't be something almost embarrassed to go or they don't want to hear that Amish that they're gonna have to change their life.
- 59:18SPEAKER_03: Sure, you always had dysphone down there?
- 59:20SPEAKER_02: I call it my penis, but yes.
- 59:23SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 59:24SPEAKER_01: I I'm just saying this my father, he was a diabetic since he was 12 years old, so he had the cards stacked against him, and then in fairness, he didn't take care of himself in his later life.
- 59:35SPEAKER_03: And many people didn't at that age.
- 59:37SPEAKER_01: Well, but my whole I know that was like but my but my whole point, and I'll use Ponder as an example, right?
- 59:43SPEAKER_03: I was gonna say I'm gonna use my mom as an example.
- 59:46SPEAKER_01: You why wouldn't you get tested for them to say, well, you've got a few things, but if you do this, do this, do this, you should be good.
- 59:54SPEAKER_01: You should be able to do it.
- 59:55SPEAKER_03: Embarrassment because they let things go too long.
- 59:57SPEAKER_01: No, I think it's fear of being told that you can't do something that you love to do.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_03: Really like to do, right?
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, or I mean, nothing Americans hate more than being told something.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: And like if they tell me, all right, like if I had liver numbers, and so I get tested every six months.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_01: I had a father that had issues, and I just want to make sure.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_01: So I go have my labs done, and I've been told multiple times, especially hosting a podcast called After Two Beers, right, that I want to make sure my liver numbers are good.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_01: And if they told me tomorrow that my liver numbers are bad, I want to know it now so that I don't go into liver failure.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_01: And if I have to continue to do after two beers with no duels in my hand, I'll be more than happy to.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_01: Right, absolutely.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_01: My life isn't determined by the alcohol that I consume.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_01: No, but I'm saying I would rather know it now than to go in and find out you got six weeks left.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_03: But I was actually using my mom as an example because like you know how there's different generational gaps, obviously.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_03: But like in that generation, it was almost like an embarrassment to be like, I've let it go for too long.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_01: I I think it's just individuals.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_01: I I really do, because some people are hypochondriacs, they can't wait to run to the doctor's.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: You sure this ain't something.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_03: I think that's probably just something else.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_01: I think it's I don't think it's necessarily generational.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, because i if you look at a lot of hospitals, a lot of times some of their busiest times are during holidays where individuals that are older that no longer have individuals, so people that would be from those different generations, they just want to be around people.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and so they'll call 911 and get around.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_03: There really is something to be said about like broken heart syndrome, too.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, yeah, absolutely.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_03: I mean and it's not a physical technical medical condition.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_01: No, it yeah, you know what it is calling you?
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_03: They it's the will to live.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_01: It's mental, it's mental health, it's all mental health, and that's why you shouldn't be afraid to go to a uh therapist.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_01: I know specifically because you're all right.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_01: It's part of your body, it needs to be worked on too.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_01: It's arguably the most important because you can make yourself podcasts.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and harpy anyway.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_01: We could keep going.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna have to quit the podcast.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_01: Jeremy's like, what the fuck did we just venture down into?
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_01: Anyway, all right.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_01: I uh I want to thank everybody for tuning in tonight.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_01: We are running along.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_01: I hope it was good conversation for you guys.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_03: It was real campire stuff, yeah.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, I love bringing up these kinds of stories because this is real life, and I'm curious how people would react, especially to not being able to jack off anymore.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_01: Sir, you had an aneurysm, no more decanoles.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, he's like, can't fix that, ain't worth living.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_03: You can't hold no duels for that.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_01: Uh, and I am fascinated by AI, and I'm fascinated.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_01: You know, it's funny.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_01: Jeremy brought up the young kid's his work.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_01: My daughter says the same thing.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_01: She talks about the impact on Mother Nature, and that there's a lot of truth to that.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_01: Kid, we had a hole in the ozone when I was growing up.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_01: We still do.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_03: We had an O thing day to day.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_03: Did you see that?
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_03: I might have been a part of that with my Aqua Net in my 90s.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, anybody that used uh right guard that came out of a spray cam.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: Uh everybody in my middle school.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_02: He walking and clouded.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but no, no, I think AI is fascinating.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_01: I think uh, you know, we've been doing this show for eight years, and I think if we continue through another eight, it will be fascinating to see how much AI progresses in that time.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_01: AI ain't got shit on me.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_03: We just type something in and it's us sitting here talking.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_01: I can already do that, by the way.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_01: I can edit the audio and it will know from the dictation of our voices that I can type in stuff and it will say it like it sounds just like you.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so you know what's really scary about this?
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_03: Is my job.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_03: My my full-time job.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, you're with fraud.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_03: Oh, because people are doing this.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, absolutely doing it.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_01: People are, you know, it's easy to fool an old pulls, uh an old person with new technology.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_03: It's not even just old.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_03: I promise you.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_03: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_03: People, it was everybody.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, everybody.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_01: All right, thanks again to uh everyone that makes this possible.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_01: Patreon.com slash uh uh backsplash, rather.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_01: Backslash.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_01: Backsplash.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Uh backslash.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_01: This is why we're all gonna get replaced with AI.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_01: Um backslash after two beers.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_01: Thanks, everybody, Kevin Shook.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, thanks to uh the Moose here locally for hooking us up.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: Thank you to the bottle shop, Crosstown Carry Out uh for the beverages.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_01: Make sure you tune in to After Two Beers every two weeks.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_01: Follow us on Facebook.
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_01: We've got some events coming up.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_01: Uh good stuff.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, June 14th.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_01: Uh, we're gonna be doing trivia at the uh American Legion here locally on 6th Street.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_01: Uh June 20th, we are bringing back music, uh country night to the uh the moose here locally.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_01: And uh we're gonna be doing$2 bushlights that night,$3 shots.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_01: Um, so make sure you uh taking it back to the 90s.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_01: Uh we're gonna have a good old time.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_01: Uh make sure you reach out to Kevin Shook if you're looking to do something like this.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_01: Uh it's a great studio, has lots of great uh technology that uh can basically accomplish whatever you need to accomplish.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, we say it at the end of every show.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_01: It is by far the most important thing we talk about.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_01: You know, we were just kind of touching on it there at the end.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_01: Um, life's hard.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, you constantly go through these uh uh being tugged at by uh stressful situations in life, things that uh, you know, you thought weren't a problem now, and 10 years from now they're gonna be the biggest problem in your life.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_01: And it's the shit that hand you know just hit you on a random Tuesday.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_01: You didn't even think about it coming, right?
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_01: And um when it happens, you know what?
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_01: We are a social group.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_01: The best thing we can do is reach out and help each other.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_01: So if you see a friend, a neighbor, a family member, uh coworker, someone that you just feel like they're being a little different, being a little off, do me a solid and just reach out to them.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_01: Ask them how they're doing or how they've been, or just let them know they just, you know, hey, I'm not saying anything's wrong.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_01: I'm just letting you know I care about you.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_01: So if you want to talk about anything, uh do so.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_01: And don't be afraid to ask for help.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, one thing, and I'll give Kim credit, uh, she brought it up.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_01: You know, people were fearful in the past.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_01: I think talking about your mental health now is more important than ever.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_01: So make sure you do that.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_01: All right, thanks again to everybody.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_01: Love you all.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_01: Pudding, Jeremy, Kevin, AJ, Gibler.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_01: We will talk to them all next time.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_03: After TVs.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_03: Take me home, take me on home.
