- 0:10>> Cameron: Hello, weary traveler. I'm not sure what
- 0:13strange magic must have brought you here, but you have
- 0:16stepped into a realm of my creation. A
- 0:19ah, sprawling city filled with danger and
- 0:21glory. And most importantly, lots of
- 0:24gold. I call it Isan
- 0:27Numis. Who am I, you might ask?
- 0:29The name is Jariv. And I'm the patron
- 0:32deity of gambling. Long story
- 0:35short, this group of idiots, or as
- 0:38you may call them, heroes, made a bet with me that
- 0:41they had what it took to make a mass trove of gold,
- 0:44but left some of the key details
- 0:47blank. So I filled them in myself.
- 0:49I sent them to this pocket dimension into the
- 0:52city I had created with. With brand new
- 0:55bodies they'd have to attune to. Can these
- 0:58fools pass my test? Or will they be trapped
- 1:01here forever? So experience my world of trials
- 1:04and tribulations and join alongside
- 1:07this posse of pitiful people. Or as I
- 1:10like to call them, the criminals of
- 1:12Isan Numis.
- 1:15All right. Welcome Back to episode 12, of
- 1:18Criminals Ofun Isum Muists.
- 1:23So, Criminals of Frankie Muniz. Yes.
- 1:27Aw winning. We're doing
- 1:30Frankie Muniz at one shot. That makes no
- 1:33sense. You guys arenna be doing. What was it? Liar. Liar.
- 1:36You guys arenna be doing. Obvious. What? It's
- 1:39me, Franky Munes.
- 1:42You're gonna do Malcolm in the Middle. Throwbacks. You're gonna
- 1:44do. Why can't I think Cody Banks. Cody Banks. Thank you. Cody
- 1:47Banks. Throwbacks. It's gonna be great. No, no. This is Criminals
- 1:50violin Numus. So if you got the wrong show.
- 1:53If you're looking for something about Frankie Muniz, I'm
- 1:56sorry, you will not find that here. On another
- 1:58note, I would like to say, obviously, I'm assuming you
- 2:01listened to previous episode. If you have not, please do that. But we
- 2:04did find out that it is the 1996
- 2:07Pinocchio movie is a live action
- 2:10movie. And to top it off, it
- 2:12stars, Our group. One of our group's favorites.
- 2:15Jonathan Taylor Thomas. so definitely
- 2:18go check that out. I guess. If you want nightmares.
- 2:21I don't know. The cannoli scene really freaked me out as a
- 2:24kid. Whatever the case, we're gonna jump
- 2:26into things. Let's introduce the characters. Am my
- 2:29right. We got Dave. Dave is playing
- 2:33Maki, not Frankie Muiz. He is playing
- 2:36Machki. Who is Maki? What is
- 2:39Maki? Maki. Otherwise known
- 2:42by the name in his wallet, maybe.
- 2:45Sureeah on his badge. Quill
- 2:48Smith. Nice. Which. I don't know if we
- 2:51talked about that before, but it's been mentioned. I think it has been
- 2:54mentioned. Yeah, absolutely. he is a
- 2:56Kenu shadow sorcerer
- 2:59and mysterious. He has an
- 3:02interest in the arcane
- 3:05in testing the limits of his new
- 3:07powers. Sounds pretty
- 3:10dang dope. And I'll be excited to see more of
- 3:13that as we go in. Sitting next to Dave,
- 3:16we've got quinn playing Feather McGregor,
- 3:19aka L Sauce, the expert of this
- 3:21city for the part. Little. yeah, Little Sauce.
- 3:24Kenu wizard. I am the only one in the group that's
- 3:27not, you know, from this other world, this other
- 3:29dimension. I am basically their guide or their
- 3:32chosen one to guide them along with their spirit guy. I
- 3:35am their spirit animal. If he doesn't help
- 3:38them, he will be trapped in this, pocket dimension forever. That's true,
- 3:41pretty much. So my whole goal, you didn't realize was a
- 3:44prison up until now? Y. I, pretty much realized,
- 3:47yeah, that this real really isn't a real world.
- 3:50And I guess I don't really know that the other world is in real
- 3:53world, but it's more real than this. Po.
- 3:56Poor Feather McGregor is just going toa be moving from some
- 3:58dimension to dimension to dimens dimesion to another one.
- 4:01But I want out. I want to experience new things. So
- 4:04I'KIND of changed my ways from a good guy. They're kind of doing what it
- 4:07takes to get this money that we need. Oh, boy. And
- 4:10your DM is terrified. Moving on,
- 4:13we got Jackson.
- 4:16I'm Jack. I play Des. he was a trident
- 4:19fighter. Now turned Kinku Ranger.
- 4:22fun fact. He believes
- 4:26that handicap, stalls
- 4:28are not actually for handicaped people. because
- 4:31handicapped people do not exist. Oh,
- 4:34interesting.
- 4:36Interesting. What does he believe there'for
- 4:40Nobody knows. Because you're not allowed in there without a
- 4:43wheelchair. So if he can find
- 4:46a wheelchair and he or crutches, I suppose. Sure, sure.
- 4:49All right. Fair enough. That'll be interesting to see
- 4:51moving forward if that ever comes up.
- 4:54fantastic. Fatty Lumpkins over here next to
- 4:56Jackson. Fatty, you are playing
- 4:59keto? yes. You are the one of the
- 5:02very few non Kinkus in
- 5:05this m campaign. Yes,
- 5:08Kido, who in this
- 5:10world goes by Theo, is a
- 5:13kobold who functions as a echo
- 5:16knite for those who are unfamiliar. Kobold is
- 5:19like a little lizard person. Kind of like a small version of
- 5:22a Dragonborn. without all the fancy powers that a
- 5:25dragonborn has, unfortunately. You know, I always
- 5:28picture them with wings. But they don't have wings to e. They don't have
- 5:31wings usually. No. That would be scary.
- 5:34Awesome. Fantastic. Right next to Fatty
- 5:37Lumpkins, we've got our last
- 5:40player, our last character associated
- 5:42and that is Cameron with Roick
- 5:45playing Manky Fumes. Manky
- 5:47Fumesain
- 5:50Roick. Are you regretting now? Are
- 5:53you regretting the opportunity to not or to
- 5:56take Thanky
- 5:58Frumez's wishing that you would
- 6:01made that character? Yeah, write that down. I'mt
- 6:05no, I could play Agent Bode Kinks and no, I'm
- 6:08joing who Bodie.
- 6:11What? Anyways, I play
- 6:14Roick. He's a former barbarian. Now he's
- 6:17a goblin rogue. his badge name is Fizzle
- 6:19Fingers. and he gets up to
- 6:22mischief also. He just discovered that he can just
- 6:25pick pockets as a passive income. So I think I'm just
- 6:27gonna be doing that non stoping. Sky's gonna hit me anyways on
- 6:30the use Skyler. I mean I might just like do that as
- 6:33like a thing where you think people are goingn to start locking up their
- 6:36pockets. They're gonna be like national warning. Like
- 6:39it's gonna be on your pockets. We'll just
- 6:42pockets on the front of your bodies, people. We've on a road,
- 6:45on the choo. Zipper pants. Zipper pants right
- 6:48here. No, we'll probably just do like out of
- 6:51campaign. after each like session, I'll just roll
- 6:54up a bunch of whatever. We'll see how much you make
- 6:57or whatever and then that'll be your intro. Every episode is
- 7:00like, and how much money did Rourg make last
- 7:02session? You'll be like, oh, good. 5,000.
- 7:05Thanks. That's a lie. No, but whatever
- 7:08the case, for those that have not listened
- 7:11to episode 11 again, please go back. You don't want to miss out on
- 7:14that. basically what happened was there was a brief,
- 7:17boat encounter where you guys, experienced some
- 7:20racism against you, which was disturbing and
- 7:23unfortunate. you made up for that, ah,
- 7:26hatred by robbing from the people
- 7:29that were, holding b us against you,
- 7:32to some extent. And then you guys made your way to
- 7:35Gideon's gizmos to discuss a little bit more with
- 7:38old Gideon McGriddle, to find out a little bit more about
- 7:41this mysterious case where he brought back
- 7:43his son from the dead, allegedly, putting him
- 7:46into the body of a puppet that he had built, very
- 7:49much like Pinocchio, which is why we referenced
- 7:52that, and then told you a little bit about
- 7:55the ritual that he used, which suggests maybe
- 7:58dark magic was involved. Which to be fair, pretty much any
- 8:01time you're doing anything necromatic, it's probably considered
- 8:04dark magic. I digress. whatever the case, that's where
- 8:07we're at. It's episode 12 season finale.
- 8:10Let's jump into it.
- 8:16All right. And we're back. All right. So you guys awake?
- 8:19The next morning, bright and early, you
- 8:22smell the delicious smell of, what smells like
- 8:25pancakes and syrup wafting from the
- 8:28downstairs kitchen? Actually, it would be upstairs because
- 8:30the upstairs section is kind of his. So you smell
- 8:33it from one of the adjacent rooms to where you are sleeping.
- 8:37I, think probably maybe two to three of you
- 8:39maybe sleeping in a room together, but not all of you together.
- 8:42I don't think all of you would have fit. so, yeah, you guys are kind of
- 8:45scattered between two to three different rooms. One of you is
- 8:48just sleeping in the bathtub. Me
- 8:51like Will Smith and I am legend. I am.
- 8:54Okay, and then Roa is. And then Ro's gonna
- 8:57smell the pancakes and immediately go sprinting towards them. And while he
- 9:00does, he's gonna slap keto on the face.
- 9:03Pancake time.
- 9:07Steping out of the room. Go on. In a
- 9:10stress of a
- 9:13strange green. Just, flash of light go
- 9:16shooting past you. Oh, also, you get like. You forgot your
- 9:19pants. You say
- 9:22that as you'get electrocuted.
- 9:25Not bad. Just. You got shocked as well as.
- 9:28It just stings a little extra. Well, I'd be shocked too, if he
- 9:31forgot his pants. That's awesome. Double shock.
- 9:34Gosh, I saw three things I wasn't expecting to see this
- 9:37morning.
- 9:39Electricity, naked goblet
- 9:42pancakes.
- 9:46you guys all come to the kitchen, and sure enough, old man
- 9:49McGriddle is there standing over his McGriddle
- 9:52making some McGriddle cake.
- 9:56You were worried McDonald's was. You
- 9:59were worried. You pull that stu
- 10:02n. I wasn't worried. What is
- 10:04this? These. It's such a
- 10:07portable
- 10:08breakfast'delicious.
- 10:12I made them, just so you guys could take with you for whatever
- 10:15investigating you need. Like, a sandwich.
- 10:17Sausage, egg and cheese
- 10:20in between pancakes. Oh, I didn't know you guys
- 10:23wanted sausage. Jacgen cheez. I just made
- 10:26pancakes. And how'you get that imprint on the
- 10:29pancake? Oh, you know me,
- 10:32just whipping up gadgets all the time. You do
- 10:35it like. Yes. Have you commercialized this?
- 10:38You could make a rank about.
- 10:41I've been thinking about it.
- 10:44I thought, you know, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But
- 10:47then I thought about it and I thought, well, I've been making pancakes all
- 10:50these years. It's not really a new trick. It's Just a new style
- 10:53of selling it. You name it. Mcaldo's or something like that.
- 10:56Mcaldo's. The
- 10:59griddles. Mcaldo. the McGriddle part.
- 11:02Well, that's my name. How are people gonna know it's me? They'll
- 11:04know. Okay. Name your main
- 11:07dish after then. Oh, yeah. There you go.
- 11:10Okay. Anyway, we. Are you guys off to
- 11:12today?
- 11:16I'm gonna take the rock and just head outside real quick.
- 11:19Okay. Oh, well, I guess he didn't
- 11:22want pancakes. I'll be back. I
- 11:24scream. And,
- 11:27over he le over to Roke. Don't worry. He'll be. He'll
- 11:30be back. I wanted his pancakes'll make you
- 11:33more.
- 11:36Oh, boy.
- 11:40I go outside, okay? I'm gonna, you know, get
- 11:42to activate the rock. All right? You give the rock a little.
- 11:45A little rub, and all of a sudden you hear a voice.
- 11:48Well, well, wellather mcer
- 11:51just by himself with none of the others. It's
- 11:54interesting. How can I help you today? You got a
- 11:57question, old Jo Jim? Where's
- 12:00McGriddle hiding the children? Where'that's who
- 12:03question. That's what you want to go with today? Yes.
- 12:06Well, let me see here. he, like, fakes the
- 12:09sound of, like, Keith
- 12:15ma printing
- 12:18dial up. And then you
- 12:21just hear as he rips the paper and put on
- 12:24hold. Thank you
- 12:27for holding. Here's some music.
- 12:31There are,
- 12:38No. he gets back to pretty quickly and he says
- 12:41u. I don't really know what to tell you this.
- 12:44It's not gonna be it a yes or no answer, but u. I'm
- 12:47not seen any readings for your old friend
- 12:49McGriddle? Of course you're not.
- 12:52Well, you can only. Can we only ask yes or no questions?
- 12:56Isn't that a technicallyipulation? He answered
- 12:59no, McGrdle.
- 13:03You know, I like to. I like to help you
- 13:06guys out as much as I can, so, you know, I try not to be too much of
- 13:09a stickler for the rules, but, don't be surprised if one day I
- 13:12just say, o. I can't really help you with that. You gotta re. Ask the
- 13:15question. But, you know, this time, it just seems a lot
- 13:17simpler to just tell you that I'm not getting any readings
- 13:20for any McGriddle. Aside from Gideon, of
- 13:23course. Awesome. No McGriddl on
- 13:26this plane's been
- 13:29shot to the afterlife. Well, stabbed.
- 13:32Ye. Sorry. O.
- 13:36no McGriddle on the plane, you said? That's
- 13:39right. Des didn't hear that. That's true. So
- 13:42I just keep. But Jack will remember that. Yes. There
- 13:45are some McGriddles in the pan sp
- 13:48side. Hey. I just.
- 13:51I hang up. I don't know how I hang up. I just put the
- 13:53wrong.
- 13:56I go back inside and I just.
- 13:59It's got a little he on it. Who
- 14:02would be the closest to me when I walk in the door,
- 14:05they all just. I just take the rock and I
- 14:08throw it to ro. Okay, here, take it.
- 14:11I don't want it. Catch it. I to
- 14:13three. It, definitely just hits me on.
- 14:17I just walk.
- 14:21Wait, what was that? Oh, I don't
- 14:24know why I always quote this from the old, old,
- 14:27old, 12 angry jurors. Theres a part where a guy just
- 14:30throws a paper ball at the old man. Just goes, that's a damn stupid
- 14:33thing to do. So that's what just. That's a
- 14:36damn stupid thing to do. Ring his head.
- 14:40I get his pancakes. Now I get his pancakes.
- 14:43It falls into your pancakes. Gets. You're in
- 14:46my pancakes. He's jumping on the stool.
- 14:49Now I'm
- 14:52an angry goblin.
- 14:55An old game of rock em sock'em
- 14:58ros. Oh.
- 15:02Roy grabs the rock on his pancakes
- 15:05covered in syrup. Make sure as they get extra
- 15:08syrup. And then he aims for
- 15:10keto. And he throws one. Keto
- 15:13has keto. Excellent dexterity.
- 15:17Are you gonna dodge and is going to
- 15:20crash into the gizmos.
- 15:23attempt to catch it midair. Oh,
- 15:26do a dexterity saving throw.
- 15:29Oh, there goes the dice. 3.
- 15:33Yeah, well, that
- 15:36one just flew right out the window.
- 15:39No, you reach up to grab it and instead of
- 15:42going like to your hand, it just right under your
- 15:44fore. Does it stick? it kind of slides down really
- 15:47slowly. Oh, most excellent. The syrup made
- 15:50it a knuckleball. S a little spin on
- 15:53it and slides down until it's just resting on your
- 15:56nose, your muzzle or whatever lizards
- 15:59have ro this p.
- 16:02Assuming I'm a reptile, I'm gonna use my
- 16:05fork tongue to lick the syrup off
- 16:07and proceedas if
- 16:10nothing happened. All right, well, you've got the rock now, so keep
- 16:13doing of that. Okay. Or Don
- 16:16or this
- 16:19Roly all of us. We can leave it and it
- 16:22just kind of grow'leg Someone should just tie a
- 16:24tether to the rock and just drag it.
- 16:27Gim jar will eventually just glue it to one of us and
- 16:30we just can't take it off. And we'll just have to, like, talk to
- 16:33someone's hip and just. It's jaroo.
- 16:36So anyways,
- 16:39that was definitely his voice from above, correcting me
- 16:42like it'judge.
- 16:45Why do you have the rock anyways? yesah. So I went
- 16:47out and I used it to,
- 16:50see where McGriddle was. And your
- 16:53God couldn't even
- 16:56tell me where he's at. Your.
- 16:59Yours. I was very angry. I had to. I threw
- 17:02my fist down. Ah.
- 17:06Wait. Our God. Hey, man, this is your world,
- 17:08man. My God? Your God. His guy. He's not a
- 17:11God. Whatever he is,
- 17:14I threw him in the rocks. He
- 17:17died. Obviously not. Yeah,
- 17:20it was a bab.
- 17:23Her Roacus looks up. you hears the rock go, Im not
- 17:26freak. Whatever the case, you guys finish up eating
- 17:29your pancke, and the day is yours
- 17:31to go investigate. I
- 17:34missed that. you
- 17:37asked. Is McGriddle got the kids?
- 17:40I asked where McGriddle was with the kids. And
- 17:43he says can't even find him. McGriddle. Except for
- 17:46Gideon. Yeah. Didn't you hear what I said yesterday?
- 17:49What'd you say? That's not McGriddle. He'summoned
- 17:52a demon. He didn't summon McGriddle.
- 17:58We'll ask a different question tomorrow. You
- 18:00said. You guys said I ask dumb, questions.
- 18:04And I waste star rock questions
- 18:07every day just because I wantna know how many.
- 18:10How many frogs are in the local lake. I
- 18:13feel like it's important. That's not a yes or no
- 18:16question either. Is there over
- 18:19200 frogs?
- 18:23Well, yeah. From my experience of summoning things,
- 18:26yeah, a good portion of the time you just end up with a
- 18:29demon no matter what you're trying to do.
- 18:32Some odds are that's
- 18:34probably what it is. I'm gonna assume you
- 18:37guys aren't with Gine at the
- 18:39momentah.
- 18:44Second time I've talked in front of Gideon about, he just summoned
- 18:47a demon. Just. Oh, you kids.
- 18:50Always of the
- 18:53under involved. He's just
- 18:56over his griddle, trying to hold back tears and
- 18:59trying not to believe it. Or he's just bending a
- 19:02wire into an. Into like a whole McGriddles
- 19:05full word. well, seeing as we're
- 19:08inside, this gives Mai a chance to ask Gideon
- 19:11a question. He's been wondering,
- 19:13is he
- 19:16Gideon? Oh, yeah.
- 19:19Do you think God lives in heaven?
- 19:23Because he too lives in fear of what
- 19:25he's created,
- 19:28and this way he knows all of your names. So he says.
- 19:31Oh, jeepers cats. Well, you know,
- 19:34Maki, that sure is u. That's a deep question
- 19:37for sure. u o. I don't know. I suppose I probably have
- 19:40thought about it. You know, as somebody that creates things themselves, you
- 19:43know, is u, kind of one of those things that you wonder
- 19:45who created you. And, you know, what do they think about your creat?
- 19:48Sometimes I make a doll and I think, this wasn't very good. And
- 19:51sometimes I make a doll and I think, dang, this might be my
- 19:54magnum opus, you know? U and so I wonder, you know,
- 19:57and whatever God created me, when he looks
- 20:00down and sees me and he thinks, was I
- 20:03a piece of junk or was I something
- 20:05special? And I like to think he thinks or
- 20:08she with they thinks that I am
- 20:11pretty special, whether they fear me or
- 20:14not. Well, shoot, they made me. I don't
- 20:17imagine they'd have anything to be afraid of. I mean,
- 20:20what's somebody gonna do, right? Capture a God?
- 20:23Put them into the very dimension that they created,
- 20:26Torture them, take their powers?
- 20:29Sounds ridiculous to me. I like to think
- 20:32as he was rambling on, all of us left the house.
- 20:35Yeah, I was definly thinking Rog
- 20:38just walks out. I saw where this
- 20:41was going and he did not care anymore.
- 20:44You guys are all outside and it just kind of like
- 20:47there's a cut back to Gideon as he like, finishes his
- 20:49statement. Then he looks up and New York. That's what I
- 20:56I'm still staying there. You're still stay. I'm still there and
- 20:59you made a mistake. Gide. I just walk out.
- 21:03he said he has nothing to say to that. he just kind of looks. I
- 21:06think at this point he knows he darn messed up.
- 21:09s Whatever remainder of his sanity is still
- 21:12there. Probably recognizes, the
- 21:15fault and his choice of. I'm sure whatever the case, you guys
- 21:18are outside in Trinket Square. a couple of
- 21:21people that are walking by kind of stop and
- 21:24watch with a little bit of a look of awe as they see you guys
- 21:27come out of Gideon's gizmos.
- 21:31Ah, I get it. They're racist.
- 21:34So the next whole area is rich
- 21:37people area, right? Not necessarily rich. These people seem
- 21:39pretty like middle class for the most part. it's kind of the same
- 21:42setup with Gideon's shop. So, the first floors of
- 21:45like all the buildings in the area are probably shops of some
- 21:48kind. but then the upper floors are
- 21:51where these people live. So, you know, they're not like
- 21:54wealthy necessarily. They're making do. It's not a
- 21:57super nice place. To be clear, Gorthham district is
- 22:00not the wealthy district like Centerille
- 22:03Orer Stark. There is s an od assortment
- 22:06of shops here, right? Yes, I have a very
- 22:09odd shop oay wondering if it's
- 22:11here. Okay. Is there any pet
- 22:14stores? O. Sure.
- 22:18Al right. Al right. I'm gonna go straight
- 22:21to the pet store then. I
- 22:24Nothing to do with the mission, actually.
- 22:26I know I wrote. I feel like we all need bes.
- 22:29Right. I also need to check out their frogd
- 22:32quantity. Roick
- 22:35wakes up every day with just a new obsession about
- 22:38random things. Today's frogs. Oh, he's looking
- 22:41for a frog specifically. Cool
- 22:43one. A cool frog. Cool frog. He
- 22:46can name boa. O right. it's just
- 22:49an ice frog. It ice frog, little hat
- 22:52and goes.
- 22:55You look for a particular FR that says
- 22:58you do. In fact, see what seems to be a pet
- 23:02store. is called Creature Comforts.
- 23:04Excellent. And that's what it's called.
- 23:08Goodation. Nice.
- 23:11A little like. Wait a second. I can read that.
- 23:15It features a little puppy like one of those, like white.
- 23:18No, he can't read. He just sees two c'and go.
- 23:21Nice. It's a little white puffy
- 23:23Pomeranian with like a top hat and a monocle
- 23:26on. That's what's on the sign. Oh,
- 23:29yeah. Okay.
- 23:32And then it. Who follows Broric? Or do you guys just kind
- 23:35of. Ye. we'll catch up later. We have the
- 23:38beacon. Des will go with him. Allgh.
- 23:41as you walk into the store, you're greeted by a wood
- 23:43elf. is a female. And she says, welcome to
- 23:46Creature Comforts where we. Oh, ah, shoot. where
- 23:49our pets are. Ah, posh are. What can I
- 23:52interest you in today? do I see any
- 23:55birds, specifically crow type birds
- 23:58in the pet shop? That's a great question.
- 24:01you see variety of. Yeah. Are you looking
- 24:04Ye. I'm asking you as a dm. Ok. Okay.
- 24:07You see a variety of like kind of your classic small birds,
- 24:10your parakeets, any crow, any
- 24:12corvid type. That's a crow orcard.
- 24:16you don't see any. At least right up
- 24:19front. Okay. You see all the kind of flashy,
- 24:22colorful. Huh? She
- 24:24asks what are you looking forg? Says
- 24:27frogs. Oh, frogs.
- 24:30Sure. We've got all sorts of amphibious
- 24:33creatures. Lizards and, lizards in
- 24:36amphibians. Different creatures of course, but yes, we have
- 24:38amphibians. We have creatures. Whatever you're looking for, those are going to
- 24:41be over in the cold
- 24:44blooded section. Lead the way.
- 24:48sure. Des will just wander to the back of the store where he's
- 24:50not supposed to be while he goes and looks at
- 24:53the frogs. You like the back rooms? I'm
- 24:56bringing her Showing frogs.
- 24:59I'm going to be very distracting because I'mnn ever
- 25:02pull every frog out, hold it in front of me
- 25:05until it ribn and I'mn toa either go yes
- 25:08or no. If it sounds rich to me. And she does,
- 25:11she takes you over to this one tank where they have a variety of frogs. They
- 25:14all just swimming together. There's some big ones, there's some smaller
- 25:16ones. there's like a netting that's kind
- 25:19of around it to a keep the frogs in. And then whenever they release,
- 25:22they like to just, like, let the bugs fly in there. It's like a big
- 25:25w than, like, almost like a pool,
- 25:28that these things are swimmin in. It's like a whole swamp environment or
- 25:31whatever inside this pool. Yeah. And so, you know, she
- 25:34makes her way around, and she'll lift the thing and she'll grab one of these
- 25:37frogs and pull it out. You go,
- 25:42put's that one back, it's another one
- 25:47gonna do frog sounds. I t see how many
- 25:50frogs Skyler can come up. I'm waiting until there's one. I
- 25:53was like,
- 25:57if there's one that gets close, Roick will
- 26:00hold on to it and
- 26:04hold, on to the one that sounds closest. And then he'll wait to get
- 26:07through all of them. And if none of them come closer than the one
- 26:10he thinks sounds close, he'll keep that one. All right, Sounds
- 26:12good. currently, the one that sounds closest goes
- 26:17one more time. Proggy.
- 26:21Oh, this isn't abovea, but it sounds like a.
- 26:23Rob.
- 26:26Listen, bro. I
- 26:29hear Rob. I hear Rob. Okay, I want this
- 26:31one and some frog flinks to go. Oh, all right.
- 26:34Make it too. Okay. They're
- 26:37delicious. They do enjoy
- 26:40their frog flakes, but do be sure to make sure that it gets its
- 26:43other nutrients through any live insects. They do like
- 26:46insects. I know. Way to get live
- 26:48insects. Awesome. And
- 26:51she certain beacon we've discovered.
- 26:55And would you like, the carryinging case as well?
- 26:58It will come with an additional char. Char
- 27:01carrying case. Yes. Oh, no, I'll be good. she
- 27:04points over to the section in. Actually, no, I'll take a cart.
- 27:07Wait, why am I just talking? Yeah, I'll take
- 27:09the carrying case. All right. Fantastic. They have
- 27:13various colors. Comes in red, blue, or
- 27:15yellow. And she shows you two
- 27:18them. And, they're basically like, like little cat kennels,
- 27:21but a little bit smaller and more like boack
- 27:24u. I don't have black on me.
- 27:27See, I'm hesitant to use the paint because I don't want it to be
- 27:30fresh when frog inside that. I've got a friend that can paint it for me.
- 27:33I'll take the red one. Oh, fantastic. Okay. And of course,
- 27:36just make sure that you don't paint it within
- 27:38yourably is a spell o. So it won't even
- 27:41be bad. oh, sure. Magic usually doesn't cause
- 27:44any kind of a problem for, for animals like that. Don Lead
- 27:47pain. Yes. No, absolutely, yes. I'll ring you right up.
- 27:50And she takes your mot register. Big problem now here in the
- 27:53streets. And while she's bringing you up, Des is
- 27:56in the back room of this. Yeah,
- 27:58It'facility Yeah. So you see a variety of animals,
- 28:01sort of just, I want to say overstock
- 28:04animal. It's like the main kennels,
- 28:07the display kennels are full. So they've got, you know,
- 28:10additionalim. They have nice little. They have nice little.
- 28:12Little more frogs.
- 28:16You don't know that saf
- 28:18bubba. you
- 28:21see a handful. Like I said, they're not in, like,
- 28:24nasty cages or anything like that. It's just you can
- 28:26onlyploay so many animals at a time, of the same
- 28:29type. So shes got some nice cages back there. Theyre all clean.
- 28:32Theyre all maintained and taken care of. some of the
- 28:35less asked for animals. Theres some,
- 28:37like, tarantulas. theres
- 28:40some, some of the, like, uglier lizards and things like that.
- 28:43Some snakes. but you do see that theres also
- 28:46a little section that shes got set up as sort of like a little
- 28:49animal hospital. and inside you
- 28:52see a little sort of box
- 28:54that'propped up on a tall shelf in a case.
- 28:57And out hops a little
- 29:00raven. It looks like it might have
- 29:03an injured foot. Well, thats fine
- 29:05because I will just do
- 29:10cure wounds. Oh, nice on the little
- 29:12raven. Sure. Ill prop him on my shoulder and
- 29:15well just walk out without a word. All right.
- 29:18Is she still with the. Yeah. She still have to register with you
- 29:22or she the frog thingick
- 29:25there for a while? Yeah, yeah.
- 29:28Do. Do an animal handling check, but do it with an advantage
- 29:31since you like. I mean, you literally heale it. You touched its
- 29:34foot and all of a sudden it felt better. And it looked a little confused at
- 29:37first. Surprised, but it was definitely great. Wow.
- 29:40I'm actually really good at this.
- 29:43That was a ranger. I would hope so. 12.
- 29:4617. 17. Wow. Yeah. this bird definitely
- 29:49seems to take a liking to you. You kind of peek around the area a
- 29:52little bit and you find some grubs that they have
- 29:55stocked in the back, and you take a couple of grubs out, feed
- 29:58it to him, and he definitely seems,
- 30:01to like you. So he kind of hops up onto your shoulder.
- 30:04He's definitely curious. He's excited that you healed him. And he's
- 30:07like, man, this guy seems like a nice guy. I think
- 30:10I'll stick around. We are
- 30:13brothers. You are brothers. Awesome.
- 30:16All right. He's perched on your shoulder. Couple
- 30:19minutes later, Ro's gonna come walk out also. But first,
- 30:22I gotta finish my purchase.
- 30:25Yeah. Yeah. so she says, that'll be five gold
- 30:28pieces. Roick pulls out his pouch.
- 30:31He's still rolling for
- 30:34a Hasor 8. Oh.
- 30:38Oh, okay. Yes. Donations are always
- 30:40appreciated. It helps us to, sustain our operations
- 30:43here. Y her a question named. And
- 30:46go. You're also foundation.
- 30:49Yes. The extra gold pieces, I give
- 30:52you too many. yes.
- 30:54Oh. Oh. Did you do it
- 30:57unintentionally? I. I can't tell. Oh,
- 31:00I'SO sorry, sir. Well, here's your three gold
- 31:03change. Thanks. Yes, of course. And
- 31:06here's one. But being honest.
- 31:08Oh. we do our best here. Thank you. And for
- 31:11charity, take care of those frogs. Yes, of
- 31:14course I will. Absolutely. They'll be able
- 31:17to, get a little bit of a refresh on their environment
- 31:21area. And then I'm gonna. I'm gonna
- 31:24attach the who thing. Imagines the
- 31:26carrier's kind of tiny, so I'mnna attach it to the back of my
- 31:29belt. Okay. Yeah. And then I'm going
- 31:32toa hold the frog, and I'm going to feed him some frog
- 31:35flakes, build up some, you know, chemistry. And
- 31:38then what I'm going to do is I'm going to hold him off to the
- 31:41side, and then I'm going to have my mage handle hold
- 31:44him, but then go invisible. So that's just
- 31:46likeating in the. It's a
- 31:49floating frog beside me for a moment. M its
- 31:52eyes just kind of p big. And it
- 31:55just starts like he's swimming.
- 31:58He being hel. He's like,
- 32:01whoa. He's just like. His body is, like, in the
- 32:04palm of the ch and he's just, like, swing
- 32:07through the air with his arms and legs
- 32:10outstretched. I pat him on his head. I go, don't
- 32:13worry, Rob. It's okay. I've got
- 32:16you. And I'm just going to start walking
- 32:19there, after, d as he's got his birth friend, and
- 32:22we're gonna start trying to track down our friends with ar
- 32:24new. so he flashed back outside
- 32:27and ma, he's like now Keito, lift
- 32:30that box there. I think I heard something underneath of
- 32:33it. I mean, there's gotta be rats around
- 32:36here.
- 32:39If we catch him, we can sell them to this pet
- 32:42shop.
- 32:46Kele complies, opens the box or lifts
- 32:49it. Yeah, lifts. I'm guess that there's nothing there.
- 32:52But, there is a mouse. Not
- 32:55a rat, but just a regular little mouse that
- 32:58comes screing out. It's a mous
- 33:04that's only good as food for the
- 33:07larger pets.
- 33:10I still haven't been able to make any sense of this
- 33:14book either. I think we need to go
- 33:17find where's the little street urchin he was
- 33:19talking about. Let's go find the town
- 33:22guards and see if they can point us in the direction of that little
- 33:25street urchin. Good idea. Sounds like
- 33:29this all dirty
- 33:30streeterty
- 33:37know what a street rat is looking bo
- 33:41Dirty little street room
- 33:43outdoor that you got around here. But you
- 33:46don't have to even look for guards. Although you do see some
- 33:49over in a variety of different corners. one of the corners of
- 33:52Trinket Street. But you also hear the sounds of
- 33:54a young child's voice saying get your
- 33:57papers. Get your papers here.
- 34:02Why? Coin for the Gotham district.
- 34:05Harald, find out
- 34:08the news on the dead king and how the
- 34:11elections are going. Is this the dirty little

- 34:16guy. Find out more details on
- 34:19the death of horse breeder God

- 34:25killed his own house?
- 34:28No, he was in the house. He was outside in a
- 34:31carriage. Are you walking up to him
- 34:33saying
- 34:36I just crying. This what the kid? Yeah,
- 34:39I was just making sure article. Yeah. If that
- 34:42was intentional. Yeah, I grew up and bit

- 34:54paper and you open it up to look at the election

- 35:08that's, that's what got rem how many
- 35:11people we had not exactly squirming his way to the top

- 35:33Bring back the dead king. Use the ritual
- 35:35magic know you have no he has
- 35:38third place out of six candidates. That's not
- 35:41terrible. So he's king and then anything and then the
- 35:44second most is anything but new to
- 35:47he's still considered very wealthy. Would you
- 35:50like the names of everybody that's currently
- 35:52running? All right, you have
- 35:55Lupin Grimall. Are younna put them in order?
- 35:59Yep. Okay. Yep. Go.
- 36:02these names are fun. You have Lord
- 36:04Blunderggruff Goldenhiield.
- 36:08Also see that I misspelled a word on my notes. There we
- 36:11go. there is Sir Percival Noodle
- 36:14Wiggle. What? Who was in the third
- 36:16personal. Lord
- 36:19Bartholomew Maximil
- 36:21Beauregard. I

- 36:26f O. Shoot. He. Oh, that's
- 36:28fine. Lady
- 36:31Cornelia Maxwell. And
- 36:33finally, in a hefty
- 36:36last place like it shows like the numbers
- 36:39or whatever. And he is significantly lower than all the other
- 36:42candidates is Sherman Extreme.
- 36:45Found our man
- 36:48Sherman. Sherman Extreme.
- 36:51I found we were taken to the top boys.
- 36:56And I'm gonna rig this election so
- 36:58hard. That's everybody. You
- 37:01see.
- 37:15Man, this political landscape is wild
- 37:18here.
- 37:21Anyways, back to the main
- 37:24event. I look at the article about the
- 37:27murder o the murder of Pend Pendleton. Lord
- 37:30Pendleton. Let's see if they have any
- 37:32details. so it lists out Lord
- 37:35Pendleton. talks about how he was
- 37:37allegedly murdered. some sort of
- 37:41freak accident at his home involving
- 37:43his own carriage.
- 37:46Did you say murder and freak accident?
- 37:50Yes, a freak accident murder.
- 37:53Those are both listed in the article. and then it
- 37:56also doesnt like this news source. It also very
- 37:59explicitly makes note of murdered in a pool
- 38:02of his own horse sen. Wow.
- 38:04And thats pretty much the gist of it. Theres a bit in there from
- 38:07his wife. She says she swear she saw
- 38:10him that night. and it was at a time that
- 38:13must have been after the murders, which is why she was really
- 38:16confused. So then it follows up by
- 38:19his body was taken from the premise
- 38:22and left off in an alleyway
- 38:25in the Mednville district.
- 38:27Sources his wife says well I
- 38:30would never have seen him ever visiting the medium
- 38:33district for any reason whatsoever.
- 38:36So they must have taken his body off the
- 38:39premise of our home and brought him there
- 38:42for whatever reason to hide their
- 38:44evil disgusting deeds. And then it talks about
- 38:47how she'll be inheriting basically all
- 38:50resources per chance. Mention a.
- 38:53A horse cart that went off the side of the
- 38:56road of his place and inside of it was his
- 38:58dead. It. Yeah, I mean it mentions the horse
- 39:01carriage house. Strange substance
- 39:04that. Yep. Ye was mentioned. Yep. And then. But
- 39:07it doesn't say that he was found inside of his carriage. It
- 39:10says that he was found a good 50ft from his
- 39:13carriage face down in the ground in a bloody heap.
- 39:16Oops.
- 39:19Which is what happens when you crash the Courseors carriage
- 39:22in such a way. What about the slice?
- 39:25Oh, yes. it simply
- 39:28says, suspects include
- 39:31a known criminal and member
- 39:34of the Thieves Guild who
- 39:36is also found dead,
- 39:40which has confused the. The
- 39:43local guards, quite a bit. Yeah.
- 39:46couldn't live with what he did.
- 39:50The working theory, murder suicide
- 39:52situation classic. and then
- 39:55monkey'gonna look for any other clues about, I don't
- 39:58know, more missing children or anything. Oh, man.
- 40:01So, yeah, this newspaper is littered with just
- 40:04various little bits in there of like,
- 40:07current missing kids. And it just has this huge list
- 40:09of kids that are currently missing. Some of them are labeled with
- 40:12like, rewards it found. some of them are labeled with
- 40:15contact information of, who to talk to or who they
- 40:18can, bring any information to
- 40:21or whatever the case, whether that be parents or loved ones
- 40:24or even just the town guard,
- 40:28Maki takes special note. It circles the one that
- 40:31have rewards. Yeah, that's very. Draw
- 40:34lines to the side and there's pictures.
- 40:37He makes sure to get a good look at the pictures.
- 40:40Absolutely. Some of them don't have
- 40:43pictures just because, you know, the parents didn't have. I
- 40:45mean, you know, it'd be paintings or whatever the case. Back in those days,
- 40:48they could technically print pictures, but that would be
- 40:51expensive. So only like, probably the wealthier families could
- 40:54probably put a picture in there. Mister, why
- 40:57are you standing in front of my spot? I got toa sell
- 41:00these papers. And although you look like a happy
- 41:03customer, it's probably better if there's a little bit more space
- 41:06here. If you
- 41:09wouldn't mind. This is a good spot. I don't want to have to move.
- 41:15It's got good light here. What's the, problem?
- 41:17It's got good light. It lets me show off the papers. It
- 41:20shines down on me, showoots me off. I can't go hid
- 41:23in some corner with some shadowy spot to sell more
- 41:26papers. Keino, is this a kid he
- 41:29wanted to talk to? Yes. Who?
- 41:32You. What do you want with me? Just
- 41:35wanted to ask if you've seen
- 41:37anything strange lately. How is it
- 41:40that all the other kids are missing, but not
- 41:43you? Would you do right that they all did
- 41:46wrong? I 42.
- 41:50I'm a full grow to do. What are you trying
- 41:53to say? No, he says, feel like we've done that
- 41:56choke car. I think we have.
- 42:00U. oh, I don't know. I just hang
- 42:02around. You know what? Honestly, it's
- 42:05kind of weird. I Haven't really talked to anybody
- 42:08about this because nobody listens to me anyways, so I don't
- 42:11give a crap. But you, you came looking for me, so
- 42:14that's kind of different. You, I like that. But whatever the
- 42:17case, there's this new kid around
- 42:20here. His name is Raku. He wears all
- 42:23these crazy colorful clothes and he plays
- 42:26with kids. And those are the same kids that go
- 42:28missing. But the guds are too
- 42:31stupid to notice it. Maybe it's justus they're not
- 42:34looking at us kids playing. But I don't play
- 42:37because I got a job to do. I gott sell papers. That's
- 42:40how I'MAKE me money. That's how I ear a living. You
- 42:43planning on moving down to Santa Fe then? I don't know.
- 42:46His a' sorry.
- 42:51anyways, where's this playground that
- 42:54you would this? Oh, he just comes out.
- 42:57Very interesting question for Yeah, he just comes mal to
- 43:00being a kid. Yeah, he just comes out
- 43:03to Trinket Square. He just plays with the kids here. You know,
- 43:06they're go run around the buildings, they're playing tag.
- 43:09He's kind of a weird looking dude. It's we pointy.
- 43:12When was the last time you saw him? O. I think I
- 43:15saw him yesterday. He was
- 43:17talking to Susie Lee
- 43:20and as she's missing, I think, let me see. He pulls
- 43:23out one of his papers and he flips to the same page that you were looking at
- 43:26Markie, where it had the list of the kids. He goes,
- 43:29it's not in here yet, but I haven't seen it today so
- 43:32I won't be surprised. I'm not trying to sellnd morebid or
- 43:35nothing, but kind of the same
- 43:38memo with all the other kids they just haven't listened to
- 43:40yet. They're probably. I'll be. Her parents are sitting there right now
- 43:43just hoping for the best. Maybe she snuck out last night.
- 43:47Maybe she's coming back. Parents are
- 43:49stupid, that's why ain't got none.
- 43:53Wow. I got rid of min. Yeah, I gotid of
- 43:56min, just
- 43:59no
- 44:02sauce. Are you here? Yeah, I'm with you
- 44:05guys. I'm just kind of taking
- 44:08this all in. Kind of looked around, trying to
- 44:12see anything strange, you know, because I kind of know the area.
- 44:15Kind of know a little bit about what goes on. Sure don't really
- 44:18see anything weird. you see
- 44:21a woman in what almost like
- 44:24nonun esque clothes have the
- 44:27spiritual one? Yeah. As far as you
- 44:30would assume, she's actually sitting on the side of the fountain and
- 44:33she has her hand in the air in such a way that, like,
- 44:36almost looks like she's dealing with some sort of,
- 44:39stressful situation or something like that.
- 44:41Yeah. Let's go up to her. Okay.
- 44:44Say, do you know anything about these.
- 44:48What? Do you know
- 44:50anything about these missing children?
- 44:54Feather. Feather McGregor, right? You re from
- 44:57around here. Yeah. Close. Close by.
- 45:00I feel like I used to. Used to
- 45:03play with oldle little mcgriddle.
- 45:06I did. I did, Yes. I remember you.
- 45:09How are you? good. Currently.
- 45:12I'm on a mission to find these missing
- 45:15children. Oh, yes, please.
- 45:18There's something. Something dark
- 45:21that's been here as of late. I think it connects to
- 45:24the missing children. They must be famd.
- 45:26Oh, I hope they're still safe.
- 45:29I get these dreams. The horrible,
- 45:32horrible things are happening. I don't know what they
- 45:35are. I just can't quite make them out.
- 45:38There's a figure. I think
- 45:41he's taken them. Do you know
- 45:43where? I see
- 45:46very. It's vivid
- 45:49visions, but also blurry.
- 45:52They're in a dark place. Very vivid, but very
- 45:54blurry. I know it's hard to explain.
- 45:57I, have these dreams. These
- 45:59nightmares even. They're in a
- 46:02icy children. They're all wrapped up in
- 46:05blankets. They're all kept inside of a
- 46:08dark area lit only by candlelight.
- 46:11Is it rocking back and forth potentially? No,
- 46:14it'it's. Completely still, yes.
- 46:17this wood, it's all wooden.
- 46:21does des notice any,
- 46:24signs that the construct might be here?
- 46:28not at the moment. You kind of scan the area, and you
- 46:31don't see anything that suggests the construct is here
- 46:35or has been here in the immediate future.
- 46:39Immediate past. See the future. There we go. Yeah. Sorry.
- 46:42Nice. I will'see be here
- 46:45anytime soon. She continues on. She
- 46:48says, I hear a, creaking sound,
- 46:51Both of wood and of
- 46:53metal. And then
- 46:57something leaps out from the shadows, and then
- 47:00I wake up. Wood and metal?
- 47:02Yes. Anything else? All I know
- 47:05is that it's some sort of dark force. Something. Something
- 47:08evil. Something not of this world, Even this
- 47:11realm. Even this plane.
- 47:15Would you be interested in coming with us?
- 47:18We could use you. Can you feel
- 47:21the darkness? Oh, do you
- 47:24feel the darkness? I don't feel it in a direction. I feel it
- 47:27all around me, as if it's.
- 47:31It's emanating in this whole
- 47:34square, this whole area.
- 47:38I have reached a radius of it.
- 47:41Okay. It's sort of probably,
- 47:44a blocked radius in every direction
- 47:47around this square. Can I roll? See
- 47:50if I see anything? Maybe with this fountain or
- 47:53turning Think telling what? This fountain. Maybe this is the
- 47:56center of the. Sure. Do a perception
- 47:58check.
- 48:0215. 15.
- 48:05Yeah. So there's a variety of different structures in
- 48:08this area that both feature sort of
- 48:11wood and metal. The fountain doesn't necessarily
- 48:14feature much. but there's definitely plenty of
- 48:16shops that all have, like,
- 48:19creaking hinges or, they might have
- 48:22metal built into their structure. There is
- 48:25obviously the church where you assume this woman is
- 48:28probably from. that one also features, you
- 48:31know, there's a bell, there's some other
- 48:34hinges and other things that are metal that are part of the
- 48:36structure. there's the old clock tower.
- 48:39Those are probably the big ones. Well, if you'd like
- 48:42to come with us, I think you might be of some
- 48:44use. I'm happy to help in any
- 48:47way, but do you have any.
- 48:50I mean, where are you going? Do you have any
- 48:53actual. I don't mean to sound rude by
- 48:56asking this, but do you have an actual direction, Some.
- 48:59Some sort of leads?
- 49:02None. So far. You're the best. We've got
- 49:05none here, but you're the best nonun we have.
- 49:09I was trying to formulate that joke in my head when you said that.
- 49:12U. She says, I
- 49:15tell you what. I'll be at the church when you need me.
- 49:18If you do get anything, don't hesitate
- 49:21to stop by, and I will come with you.
- 49:25Okay? Okay. Am I suspicious of hear at
- 49:27all? Like, a little bit, maybe you might be. You want to roll
- 49:30ins. You feel like. Is there something specific?
- 49:33I feel like, what if
- 49:36she. She obviously isn't the evil being
- 49:39because it's not a giant doll, right. That I
- 49:42assume, you know, so. But I wonder if she
- 49:44has anything to do with this. Okay. Yeah.
- 49:47Roll insight to see, you know, just what you gauge from her
- 49:50tone. If it feels sort of legitimate or if
- 49:53it feels a little s S. I mean, she
- 49:56seems fairly genuine. She seems
- 49:59strained. she has, like, bags under her eyes that really
- 50:02suggest, like, she's probably been losing sleep as of late.
- 50:05But however you interpret that,
- 50:09it's up to you. Did you have
- 50:12anything to do? You know where this
- 50:15evil comes from? Because obviously I do. I'm asking.
- 50:18Sure, I know where it comes from. It doesn't.
- 50:21Like I said, it's evil in nature, and it
- 50:24definitely doesn't come from this plane. It comes
- 50:27from some other world or
- 50:30dimension or something. I'm not sure.
- 50:32I'm not a studious
- 50:35person within the realm of other worlds, other
- 50:38dimensions. Don know how it was summoned here?
- 50:41I can only assume some Sort of dark ritual might have brought it
- 50:44here. I don't imagine it can just get here on its own. It had
- 50:47to have been. Do you know whooted this dark ritual?
- 50:50No.
- 50:52Algh. Thank you. Of course. Please let me know
- 50:55if you find anything.
- 50:58These children are in danger. Have we left the pit so
- 51:01yet? Yeah. Yes. Yeahise. Have we
- 51:04walked? Y. Absolutely. Because they're all. All we
- 51:07righteah what we see. Can we dress him
- 51:10up as a child? You? Yeah. Wow.
- 51:13Our minds were on like the same pathway.
- 51:16Because I already had a plan cooked up.
- 51:19All right. Well, perfect. It's
- 51:22good to see you put him in a littleell hand.
- 51:26I have an idea, but I'm not sure you'll
- 51:29be.
- 51:32Yes, I'm talking to Roick.
- 51:35I do. Nice N just. He points at the
- 51:38floating frog next to you
- 51:40who's still swimming in the air. What'd
- 51:43you name him?
- 51:46I poke.
- 51:49Grub. Oh, that's good too.
- 51:52Name Grub. Just rub
- 51:55grub. Dry rub grub.
- 51:57People g on that grub
- 52:00Rub. His name's Rob
- 52:03Frub Rub.
- 52:10We really don't have time to be getting and
- 52:13looking for pets. But I seen any kids. But if you were,
- 52:16I would have named him Buba but with a bird on his
- 52:19shoulder. Right as you said that.
- 52:22Where'd you find that? I just point
- 52:25it. You do see a couple of kids. Okay, I'mnna follow
- 52:28the kids. Let's grown
- 52:31men just follow this. M. Golin. I'm
- 52:34Goblin. Okay, Please allow me to finish the.
- 52:37You see a couple of kids that are, So they
- 52:40look like they're with what you would assume to be their mom. And she is holding
- 52:43them very tightly.
- 52:46She's got them each by the hand and she hasn't pulled like as
- 52:49closely as she can to her sides. She looks
- 52:51absolutely terrified. What?
- 52:54Just being outside with children, I gu y.
- 52:57you also see a few looks, from people
- 53:00around. they glance over at the kids and they. They have sort of
- 53:03this like angry some of them. This is just a few people. But you notice they
- 53:06have sort of an angry look to them. maybe a
- 53:09look of jealousy. Maybe their children have
- 53:12been taken. And then they see these children still
- 53:15not taken, and they wonder to themselves,
- 53:17why do you get to still be
- 53:20here? They should. Those kids
- 53:23too.
- 53:26Yeah, man, I'll steal him if no one else does.
- 53:29Gott even Steven. We
- 53:32all need to communistically
- 53:35really spread out who gets, an even
- 53:38amount of children in this neighbor.
- 53:42This is just socialism.
- 53:45Yes. all right, well,
- 53:49where do the kids play.
- 53:53Everybody turns and looks at you. What did he
- 53:55say? Who are you? Ask
- 53:59u I guess I'm talking to, little sauce. well,
- 54:02kids play all around the city.
- 54:06It's neither really here nor there. It's
- 54:09based where they gather, decide to togetherather that day.
- 54:12There's really no certain spot.
- 54:15That's what makes this all difficult. I did talk
- 54:18to. I forget her
- 54:21name, but I know
- 54:23Gideon mentioned somebody and I,
- 54:26spoke with her. She said she's got these visions
- 54:29of wood and metal
- 54:32children wrapped up,
- 54:35within a radius, close to here, within a few
- 54:37blocks at radius. So I assume the
- 54:40evil has to be emanating from somewhere
- 54:43in this area. So I would assume, if he would be
- 54:46willing, we dress you up as a nice, pretty
- 54:49little girl,
- 54:52and we have you just walking around at night,
- 54:55just saying, I want to play. I want to play
- 54:58here within this area. This is just a
- 55:00street Japanese horror story.
- 55:03Okay, all this o roik's
- 55:06just goingna float his frog over to you. Go.
- 55:09And he's going. Just set him on m my shoulder. Sure,
- 55:12he's on your shoulder. Den points
- 55:15to his shoulder. Yeah, sure. Goes on your other shoulder.
- 55:17No, no, no, no, no. I'm just pointing to my bird.
- 55:20Nice. I like the bird.
- 55:23Anyways, Roke's going to,
- 55:26just open up his sack, his
- 55:28pouch, and he's going to pull out a costume. He
- 55:31has. He just has a child's
- 55:34costo o. Okay. Okay. It is
- 55:37a purple, fluffy
- 55:39outfit with a little
- 55:42hat with a feather out out of it.
- 55:44Nice. And it's like frilly. It's
- 55:47like frilly. And
- 55:50roick's then going to start skipping around,
- 55:53going. Wait, wa.
- 55:56Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It's, not. It's not time yet.
- 55:59What got you mean?
- 56:03Don't you think this should be better at nighttime? He's not pretending to
- 56:06be better. Kids will play night. That's
- 56:09right. Mai. Well, should
- 56:12we all go hide and see what happens? Say the line. I'm
- 56:14frilly, silly. And my name's
- 56:17willie.
- 56:19Okay. And I'm ro play ro skipping around. I'm
- 56:22reallyill. I'm silly. My name is
- 56:25willie. Play with me. Play with me.
- 56:28Play with me. Do a performance.
- 56:31You skipping around, he
- 56:33dancing. I love what players come with interesting
- 56:36ideas, but I kind of hope this fails.
- 56:40No
- 56:43performance. You just get that
- 56:4711. Yeah. you as you're ju a lot worse
- 56:50in my performances. And so good as you're jumping and
- 56:52skipping and frolicking all of a suddenom, you just kind
- 56:55of hit a wall and it's two guards that are standing there,
- 56:58and they look down at you and they say, what are you. What are you
- 57:01doing there? Little that guy,
- 57:04he say his name was, I think he
- 57:07said Willie. Will? Yeah, Willie.
- 57:10You heard your song. Hey, u what are you doing out
- 57:13here all on your own? You know, what's with me? I'm
- 57:16notnna do that, little one. It's actually
- 57:19me. It's actually time for us
- 57:21to play with
- 57:24me. See, this is gonna
- 57:27be a weird question, but, you wouldn't have by chance have the time, would
- 57:30y? The oldle clock tower's not
- 57:33been working as of late. I just have a little bit of difficulty
- 57:35figuring out what time it is. Is he talking to me?
- 57:38Yeah, I'm a Will.
- 57:41Baby doesn't what she
- 57:43knows what time it is. Look, all I can tell you is
- 57:46that it's not time to play right now. It's not really
- 57:49safe out here. I'd say you probably better go back in
- 57:52with your parents there a little
- 57:55my parents house. and I'm gonna go skipping
- 57:58away down an alleyway while going. I'm
- 58:00silly. I'm really. My name is
- 58:03Wherey. You just hear him shoutow to? Oh, I don't know.
- 58:06Okay, play with me with.
- 58:09You know, I don't think that kid's all there.
- 58:13Perfect. You ever seen that kid before? No, I
- 58:16ever seen that kid. Kind of looked like she had a skin
- 58:19condition. I'm gonna put on.
- 58:21I'ma. I didn't
- 58:24actually. I just put a feather in my hat.
- 58:27is it getting dark at this point? Ah,
- 58:32I'm gonna use my, Well, shoot. I mean, how m many
- 58:35people around. You want to skip time, that's fine. But, no.
- 58:38How many people around right now around
- 58:41you? Not as many because of disappearances
- 58:44ors. They're all adults. Yep, there's a
- 58:46decent amount of adults. So I said Willie for a name and they went
- 58:49right. Well, so you're
- 58:52re. You're dancing down side
- 58:55streets. Yeah, I'm down an alley right now,
- 58:57skipping. I want to keep an eye on you.
- 59:00Well, you can. You can still hear me, I guess. O I
- 59:03can use spider time and climb up on top. Good
- 59:06God, make it. My frogs got a bond to
- 59:09me. He'll lead the waykay.
- 59:18As you start to approach the alleyway, the two guards turn you and
- 59:21they're like, oh, excuse me there, buddy. Where do you think you're
- 59:24going? Trying to find my
- 59:26kid. Oh, I'd be seeing.
- 59:29He's silly. Silly.
- 59:34His name's Willie.
- 59:36That'coincidence we just saw stey Freely
- 59:39Willie just head down the alleyway there.
- 59:43He's pre come. You can't miss.
- 59:47He's sillyilly. Imagine
- 59:50you going to like your kids lost in the mall
- 59:53and you go through a mall co he if you seen my kid
- 59:56they're like what do they look like? Well they're silly
- 1:00:03was really
- 1:00:09and they're Willy. What what
- 1:00:12it about what did you see about there Willie?
- 1:00:15I don't think that's appropriate discussion when we're
- 1:00:18talking about a kid. You're there bud.
- 1:00:20No. Oh yeah.
- 1:00:23We'll tell you what. Let's u let's
- 1:00:26hold let's all go looking for little silly
- 1:00:29Freey Willy down the alleyway here. No way. We can
- 1:00:31help you all give back to your own jokeie. Kill
- 1:00:34them. Hang on one second. Yeah, I'd like to
- 1:00:37bring a couple friends along Mrs. Uncle. It's
- 1:00:40a a question. Well he got his
- 1:00:43uncle uncles.
- 1:00:46des just points to the bird on his shoulder.
- 1:00:49Daddy's uncle too. That's his uncle with
- 1:00:52that's his pet uncle too. Uncle Quail.
- 1:00:56Well, aren't you just a colorful bunch. Who's this
- 1:00:59guy over here with the scales
- 1:01:02Rubop
- 1:01:05un uncle by marriage. Oh, right
- 1:01:07on. Okay, well yeah let's all the whole group of
- 1:01:10us go see if we can find Silly Freely Willie and
- 1:01:13we could get you all back to where you're
- 1:01:19I heard there's disappearances here
- 1:01:21lately. Really? Like I really like to find so
- 1:01:24really well they here it sou okay. Yeah. Trust me. We were
- 1:01:27both just commented about how bad of an idea was is she just
- 1:01:30went off into a dark she?
- 1:01:33Oh sorry. It's a he.
- 1:01:35I didn't mean to make assumptions or nothing. I just
- 1:01:38was pretty darn confused.
- 1:01:41But he's silly. If you don't mind me asking this
- 1:01:44your son have a bit of a skin condition?
- 1:01:47He doesn't look like you at all. Lost all his
- 1:01:50feathers. Oh, I just what they look
- 1:01:53like here.
- 1:01:56That's. That's okay. O hey I'm not training
- 1:01:59so my apology I start crying it like oh
- 1:02:02it but patsy on the back you
- 1:02:04can't grow feathers cheaper
- 1:02:07cats. It'a terr
- 1:02:16I feel like these guards might be on to something.
- 1:02:19They're on. You want to. You want to do a
- 1:02:20performancec? Yeah, because they're like we'll go with
- 1:02:23you Y And that makes me feel feel a little untrusting towards
- 1:02:26you right Now. Yeah. I am trusting towards them. Right?
- 1:02:29Performance. Yeah. Or deception, whichever's
- 1:02:32higher. they both apply in this situation. 17.
- 1:02:35Okay. Wow. Okay. What do you. Are you trying
- 1:02:38to get anything out of or you just. Guards might
- 1:02:41be in on it. That would
- 1:02:44be something you least expect. But, hey, let's
- 1:02:47go down that. I just thought it was weird. Well, let's go down the alley with
- 1:02:49you. Okay. Okay. Well, whatever the case, they. They
- 1:02:52really didn't want anybody else coming along.
- 1:02:56Sure. Well, they're not just gonna be like, hey, you on
- 1:02:59the side of the street, come with us. Right?
- 1:03:02That's it. I'd like my friends to come along too. No,
- 1:03:05that's fine. That's fine with us. Let's go look and
- 1:03:08let's make sure we find. Really? I
- 1:03:11notice anything? you don't notice anything, but they. They definitely seem
- 1:03:14to trust you a little bit more. They seem like they
- 1:03:16legit believe that you are. For his
- 1:03:19father or whatever the case.
- 1:03:22so you guys go walking down the alley. We'll cut over to, Roick skipping
- 1:03:25down the alleyway. Willy. Yes, Willy.
- 1:03:28That'as, you're skipping down the alleyway saying, you know,
- 1:03:30I want to play. I want to play in. To play with me. you hear
- 1:03:33a voice, speak out from the shadows. O.
- 1:03:36Excellent. Yes. It says, hey,
- 1:03:39I'll play with you. And then
- 1:03:42a Rourke'snna creepily turn towards the cor
- 1:03:45angle. Play time.
- 1:03:49And it creepy chairs likee. Never mind, buddy.
- 1:03:52I might be a demonic entity, but you're a little far
- 1:03:55from me. No. no. As you turn, a
- 1:03:58face peeks out from some of the darker shadows of this
- 1:04:01alleyway. It is a very pointed nose,
- 1:04:03very, wooden features, and
- 1:04:06very brightly colored hair and collar. Although
- 1:04:09it's like skin you could say is, very
- 1:04:12pale white. And it says.
- 1:04:15I say it. He sure. it says,
- 1:04:18ah, I have a fun place that we could
- 1:04:21play. We could play tag. We could
- 1:04:24play hide and seek. We could
- 1:04:27play marbles. What do you want to
- 1:04:30play,
- 1:04:32Jack? I love Jax.
- 1:04:36Let's play Jax. My name's
- 1:04:38Raku. What's your name?
- 1:04:41I'm silly. I'm free.
- 1:04:45I'm Willy. That's a fun
- 1:04:48name. Do you just go by Willie or do you
- 1:04:51like the whole title? Roarg's starting
- 1:04:54to get nervous and forgetting his lines.
- 1:04:56oh, I like to play. Play
- 1:04:59with me.
- 1:05:03The head sort of tilts kind of like like a dog when they're
- 1:05:06curious. Tilt my head in response.
- 1:05:11You're a silly Frilly. One for sure.
- 1:05:13Willy, let's go play. And he kind of
- 1:05:16just disappears into the shadows. Okay, I follow
- 1:05:19him. All right. Oh, hang on. How far away are
- 1:05:22we? It's hard to say. It's
- 1:05:25a whole series of back alleys right here.
- 1:05:28I look down, pat
- 1:05:31the frog on my shoulder,
- 1:05:34say, rob. Ro lead
- 1:05:37me. Ro lead this
- 1:05:40way. Rob once for
- 1:05:43yes. Rob twice for no.
- 1:05:49I want go to. I hope
- 1:05:52you have a good connection with this frog. I gave him a lot of
- 1:05:55frog flakesun
- 1:05:57m. Okay, what about
- 1:06:00that way?
- 1:06:02Rob, let's go that way.
- 1:06:05Voice
- 1:06:08it's randomong way.
- 1:06:11Why in the world this frog no
- 1:06:16right direction? I have no idea. Why are
- 1:06:19you believing wrong? He says a frog
- 1:06:22will lead you to me. I don't know. all
- 1:06:25of the people'just like, yeah, this frog and
- 1:06:28I have a connection now. He can lead you to
- 1:06:31me. the gu bring in this world that magical
- 1:06:33frog that can lead, you know, is close to him.
- 1:06:36You know, the guards both look at you, and they're like,
- 1:06:39u I don t. I don't Almost did
- 1:06:42Kermit there.
- 1:06:45I don't know much about you there, bud, but, are you
- 1:06:48talking into the frog there?
- 1:06:51When I get nervous and silly frly
- 1:06:54Willie runs away. He does this a lot since his
- 1:06:57mom. Geez. Since his mom died, it's.
- 1:07:00That's a real bummer. This is how he finds free
- 1:07:02and he likes to experience the fresh air and
- 1:07:05sure, sometimes just talking to
- 1:07:08this is a fet frog, Rob. And
- 1:07:11sometimes just talking to Rob calms me down.
- 1:07:14Oh, I see. I'm out of curiosity
- 1:07:17there. Were you asking it for directions as
- 1:07:19well? You know, sometimes I feel like they have an
- 1:07:22emotional connection. Oh, that's. That's great and
- 1:07:25all'm out of curiosity, and this is an honest
- 1:07:28opinion for you? I just. I noticed some
- 1:07:31footprints that are going in that direction over there.
- 1:07:34But if you really think that there's an
- 1:07:37emotional connection there with that,
- 1:07:40we can follow it and we'll just cross our
- 1:07:43fingers. Or maybe if you want, Steve and I to
- 1:07:45go that way with the footprints, and then you can go that
- 1:07:48way with the frog. Totally up to you. I'm not trying to
- 1:07:51tell you how to find your son. I'm just here to
- 1:07:54help. Does des, smell the
- 1:07:57construct? Oh, it would be nearby.
- 1:07:59Yes, it would. Absolutely. And it is in the
- 1:08:02direction that the footprints are going. Okay,
- 1:08:05maybe we should go in the way. Suggesting
- 1:08:08Tez gets on all fours and just goes
- 1:08:13and follows the footsteps. Oh, jeez'follow him. We got
- 1:08:16a frog and we've got a little feathery
- 1:08:19dude that both seem to have a direction go. You know
- 1:08:21what? The feathery dude'following the footprints
- 1:08:24again'm not trying to tell you what you do you want to go
- 1:08:27that way with the frog? We'll find
- 1:08:30youa after we find Willie
- 1:08:33and we'll hand him off to you. But we're gonna follow the
- 1:08:36creepy little, feathery guy for the time
- 1:08:39being, and we're go goingna head in this direction. Okay.
- 1:08:41Sounds good to me. Are you gonna. Are you gonna join? Are you
- 1:08:44following? No, I'll come with you. Okay. Sounds great.
- 1:08:47Thank goodness. I was starting to wonder if he wasn't
- 1:08:50all there. all right, little buddy. U you follow
- 1:08:53the lead the way, but, we're gonna keep an eye out for
- 1:08:56footprints as well, Just, you know, in case you
- 1:08:59following a creepy bird crawling on the ground is a little weird.
- 1:09:02But thatch s fine. And they follow after you,
- 1:09:05jumping back over to Cameron. roick.
- 1:09:08So as you were following along,
- 1:09:11this shadowy figure seems to kind of like disappear
- 1:09:14into the shadows and then reappear further down. It slowly
- 1:09:17leads you through the shadowy back
- 1:09:19alleys until eventually I wish I kept the
- 1:09:22rock now o
- 1:09:26look at just someon the peak of wherever it leads, man. Oh,
- 1:09:29that's true. Anybo even see. And this is why
- 1:09:32it was important that we clarified that you
- 1:09:35keto had the rock right now. So, whatever
- 1:09:38the case, eventually it leads you to.
- 1:09:41Gosh, that's gonna bite me in the butt. Oh, it
- 1:09:43will. It leads you to you, fight
- 1:09:47you. We can see, too. So literally,
- 1:09:50we can just outmaneuver the game. Because's
- 1:09:53true. You find yourself
- 1:09:55standing at, the stairs
- 1:09:58of an old clock
- 1:10:00tower. And as you look up, you see that the
- 1:10:03clock tower is no longer functioning. The
- 1:10:06second hand, or whatever, the minute hand, doesn't seem to be moving
- 1:10:09at all, no matter how long you stand there, which is for a good minute.
- 1:10:12But eventually, the door doors open from the
- 1:10:15inside, and the same face peeks out.
- 1:10:18And it's raku. And he says, well,
- 1:10:21are you gonna play with me? I'm sure.
- 1:10:25Then come on in. Can you hold my hand?
- 1:10:27I'm scared. Sure.
- 1:10:30And, as you stand there, a hand reaches
- 1:10:33out and it just keeps coming and keeps coming,
- 1:10:36and it just elongated and eventually reaches
- 1:10:39you and softly puts itself into your
- 1:10:41hand, shocking
- 1:10:44grass. Oh, gosh. All right. Does it
- 1:10:47make a save
- 1:10:50or do you do an attack? I assume it makes a
- 1:10:52save. I'm pretty sure
- 1:10:55it's an attack roll. I have advantage on
- 1:10:58attack roll if they're wearing armor or made of
- 1:11:00metaleah. He is wood.
- 1:11:03O He could be wearing metal. I think he
- 1:11:06would probably have metal underneath the
- 1:11:09wood. And to sunk'got mechanical parts, Right?
- 1:11:12Yeah. And, me electricity does
- 1:11:14burn through wood, Right? Right, right.
- 1:11:17And so I would say go with the advantage.
- 1:11:20Okay. With a handshake. And
- 1:11:23that's it. See? That's right, everybody.
- 1:11:26I'ATTACKACK roll. So I add my spell
- 1:11:29thing, right? Yep. Yepeah. Spell attack
- 1:11:31bonus, right? Yes. 15. 15.
- 1:11:35Ooh, that matches. But I'll count it. you
- 1:11:38let out a burst of electricity. How much damages
- 1:11:40it? Eight if it meets it
- 1:11:43beats. Right. Seven. Yeah. Seven damage.
- 1:11:46All right. As you release the shocking
- 1:11:49grasp into its hand, you hear its face
- 1:11:52just kind of contorts and opens up. sort of like a
- 1:11:55creepy Five Nights at Freddy's where the animatronics, like the
- 1:11:58hinge on the mouth kind of just comes all the way down and it goes.
- 1:12:02And it pulls its hand back really quickly and slams
- 1:12:05the door of the clock tower. I'm silly. I'm
- 1:12:07free money. Roick just
- 1:12:10blankly stares at the door and, he just goes
- 1:12:13oops. And then just walks up to the door
- 1:12:16and starts knocking. You knock on the
- 1:12:19door and all of a sudden it just kind of slowly
- 1:12:22opens with a creak. And it's just. It's almost
- 1:12:25pitch black in there. There's maybe a little bit of light that just kind of
- 1:12:28comes in, obviously from. From the sun. the door creaks
- 1:12:31open ever so slowly and there's
- 1:12:33nobody there. But all of a sudden you hear
- 1:12:36and you go and you feel a sharp push from behind
- 1:12:39you. And next thing you know, you're
- 1:12:41standing in essentially pitch black darkness
- 1:12:44as the door slams behind you.
