Transcript
- 0:00It's Today's Randy Big Nightya point seven. We're piking Amanda in the morning round.
- 0:03I was on TikTok and they were talking about wedding etiquette and we all
- 0:06know the whole don't wear white to a wedding, of course, I mean,
- 0:09but people do it amazingly. Still, did you know that you're not
- 0:12supposed to wear red to a wedding either? I have never heard that.
- 0:16I guess Intergracy, you heard that. You're a young TikTok. No.
- 0:19I feel like everybody in my family besides a couple of us got married in
- 0:23the summer, ended up getting married around Christmas, and I think I wore
- 0:26the same red dress. Well, or a few of us are dead.
- 0:29Yeah, you're not gonna like what that actually means, Amanda, because apparently
- 0:33wearing a red dress comes from an old wives tale that says wearing red signals
- 0:37that you've hooked up with the groom. Oh stop, well, get thing
- 0:40there. My cousin so left me off the red bar. Well what Yeah,
- 0:45apparently that's a no no, So don't wear red unless ever heard this
- 0:51before. Oh, it's an old wives tale, So red's off limits,
- 0:54whites off limits. Basically, leaves, white, beige, and green.
- 0:57I don't know what, do you. There's a lot of things at weddings
- 1:00that are you know, whether it's this stupid dress code thing or just annoying
- 1:04things in general that happened at weddings. Do you remember anything at your wedding,
- 1:08like something that guest did that annoyed you? Oh gosh, I have
- 1:11a couple of wedding stories seven one two one ninety eight seven. Feel free
- 1:15to chime in my first wedding, my cousin. You're talking about red and
- 1:19white dresses. How about just a dress. It looks the same skin tone,
- 1:23like a color. Do you remember that? I remember it fondly.
- 1:26Do you really? Yeah? Yeah, your first wedding, we had just
- 1:30Matt. But thanks for the invite, Yeah, no problem, thanks for
- 1:32attending. That's literally when I think of that, I couldn't tell you who
- 1:34was there. I couldn't tell you what even you were wearing. I just
- 1:38remember this lady in the peach dress. So HATTI boom a latte. I
- 1:41mean, girlfriend got a booty, booty, booty rocket everywhere and she was
- 1:45all up ball the dance floor in a dress. Not only was it short,
- 1:49but it was a peach dress. She just looked naked. She did
- 1:53look she looked naked, and you just it was just an eyesore because every
- 1:57time he turned, like there she is again, Like you're just staring at
- 1:59her. You can't help him, you really can't. So I understand why
- 2:02that would be frustrating. At Nick and my wedding, we were kind of
- 2:08a wedding crasher situation, very very uncomfortable. I think I shared this story.
- 2:13I don't recall. I had invited my mom, who had passed,
- 2:16had a best friend that lived in Colorado, and that's where we got married.
- 2:20I'm like, oh my gosh, I bet she'd love to come.
- 2:22I think she'd bring her husband. No, she brought one of her friends,
- 2:24which was fine, but she decided that she was going to have too
- 2:30much to drink, and nobody is really drinking. Keep in mind, I
- 2:32was a few weeks pregnant, so I was not drinking at the wedding.
- 2:36So I remember it fondly when she went up to the DJ, grabbed the
- 2:40microphone and started just telling us what a great couple we are, like making
- 2:47this random seven lady not a clue, couldn't tell you her name, her
- 2:53to sing a song. I mean, just ridiculous. And the worst part
- 2:59is is my husband's family from Iowa because we'd only been together year, so
- 3:01there were some people that don't really know me, they don't know all of
- 3:04my family. They thought I was related to this woman. I'm like,
- 3:07I don't know. I ever no idea, what's going on. I couldn't
- 3:10tell you her name. God, it's so annoying. What about you?
- 3:13Something I guested at your wedding that bothered you? Annoyed you? Seven?
- 3:17Eight seven? I have one I want to share at eight eleven because it's
- 3:21super annoyed me. Okay, and just I see people do it all the
- 3:23time. Don't do this. We'll talk about it. Eight eleven. I
- 3:27can Amanda in the morning, Big Nutty. Eight point seven. We talked
- 3:35a lot about Taylor Swift and this Era's tour and turned Gracie. You're going
- 3:38to two of the shows in Minneapolis, right, Yeah, very lucky.
- 3:40This is a great idea for you because I know how die hard you are.
- 3:44There's fans out there apparently wearing adult diapers to the show because you don't
- 3:50want to miss anything, right, don't. It is a tough thing when
- 3:53you you know, like for example, I was just at Blink one eighty
- 3:55two at the Extel Energy Center and I was drinking. We were all drinking,
- 3:59and therefore I'm probably gonna have to go to the bathroom a lot you
- 4:01guys know me in this bladder, not to mention the lines. And depending
- 4:04on what show you're going to, So how do you time it? You
- 4:08just wait till like do you hear the first note of a song that you
- 4:10could take it or leave it? You know? Then why so what do
- 4:13you think adult diepee? Good idea? I just go when you want.
- 4:18Well, somebody changes you after You're going to your mom right, perfect,
- 4:24She's got all the experience in the world. What are you gonna do.
- 4:28I'm not gonna wear one of those at Taylor why because it doesn't go with
- 4:31your off It's gonna hang out the bottom of your skirt or what he might
- 4:39look a little you know puffy. Well, us Swifties have timed it out
- 4:44where when she sings all too well ten minute versions. Oh then when people
- 4:48have been going to the bathroom because it's a ten minute, but now you
- 4:53got everybody going to the bathroom. There's no same time. So what if
- 4:56you would you miss? True? What if you miss the next song and
- 4:59the next song happens to be the special song or the surprise song song.
- 5:03I mean think about it. Kaylee, who's twenty three, said the diaper
- 5:06rash and the trench foot was worth the moment of Taylor looking right at us.
- 5:12What is going on with people? And what is trench That's what I
- 5:15want to know. Can you google trench foot please? I'm a little nervous.
- 5:18I don't know what that has to do with a diaper in general.
- 5:21Yeah, was there some overflow? It is known as the immersion foot.
- 5:26Occurs when your feet are wet for long periods of time. So yep,
- 5:29so that is gonna be when oh my soil yourself. They're just so keen.
- 5:34That is absolutely disgusting. There's just nobody how good of a You gotta
- 5:40get a better diaper. Yeah, no kidding. So what is your plan?
- 5:43Because I know you show up to shows like really early to get the
- 5:45good spot. Now it's a little different because you have a seat, right
- 5:47Yeah, So do you normally wear diapers to shows? No? You don't.
- 5:50You never have you never consider it? No, because I don't know
- 5:54how these people do it because I would have to go to the bathroom.
- 5:56You leave, and then your sponse, do you just dehydrate yourself? Well?
- 6:00And I like wait in line and I'm like, I'm usually in the
- 6:01pit for shows. I don't drink a lot of water that oh really like
- 6:04liquids that day. See what's more immature, purposely dehydrating himself or wearing a
- 6:10dining in Amanda in the morning. So apparently you're not supposed to wear red
- 6:17to weddings. We've heard about not wearing white. I mean, that's obvious.
- 6:20I have never heard this before because it's signals. It's an old wives
- 6:24tale, signals that you've hooked up with the groom. So unless you've actually
- 6:29done that, then don't wear red, you said, Amanda at your wedding.
- 6:31We're talking about like just things your guests at your wedding due that are
- 6:34annoying, like you had one, you mean, like stealing their thunder.
- 6:38At my first wedding, my cousin wore a just basically a nude dress.
- 6:43It was a peach but it rock and bot it gets not like she wears
- 6:47wearing a dress. It was almost see through. She, like I had
- 6:51mentioned earlier, had a booty, booty booty that was rocking everywhere on the
- 6:55dance floor and that's all people were watching. Yeah, I was walking around
- 6:58talking to random people like you do. And everyone I saw it was like,
- 7:00hey, did you see that. I'm like, yeah, I saw
- 7:01them. You know, la la la la la. My annoying thing though,
- 7:06that a guest did at my wedding, and it was a family member
- 7:09on my side. Of course this I've seen it before too, But basically
- 7:13it was no. I don't want to say they don't have any awareness when
- 7:17it comes to social media etiquette, but a little older relative and decided to
- 7:21take on their two thousand and three no Kia or whatever flip phone take a
- 7:27bunch of photos of the ceremony and was posting them in real time no and
- 7:30tagging my wife and and you specifically had a rule no pictures, right,
- 7:36and so you know, you pay a lot of money for a photographer to
- 7:39take these beautiful photos and everyone, and you know, you're at your wedding.
- 7:42I'm not looking at my phone. I'm not seeing what I'm tagged in
- 7:45on Facebook. So for the next the next day, I saw all these
- 7:47photos and these reactions like our photo shoot was you know, the worst photography
- 7:51you've ever seen. Well, and you know, people if they aren't invited
- 7:55or like, for instance, everybody was excited about your wedding and then you
- 7:59have all these pictures are like this is I know, luck that you're getting
- 8:03off my wedding. I know, it's just a bunch of awkward shots,
- 8:05you know, bad angles, just oh, it's just like so and there's
- 8:09no taken aback. It was almost annoying thing in the world. So what
- 8:11about you. What's an annoying thing guest did at your wedding? Seven eight
- 8:16seven? You got one? Oh my gosh if my mother in law showed
- 8:20up with two of her friends and they just wanted to come for the food.
- 8:26And they asked me my husband to put it in to God containers from
- 8:30to take home God stop. And was it like buffet style or plated dinner?
- 8:35They asked you, asked you the bride if you had just have to
- 8:39bring along some supper wear. They came up and grabbed my hand and pulled
- 8:43me away from like family and everything and had me. My husband was expecting
- 8:50to dance with his mother and she was like all about the food, even
- 8:54though she didn't pitch in any money for anything. I mean, what was
- 8:58the food obvious? It sounds like it was good. It was just like
- 9:01you know abs, like you know, chicken wings and stuff like that,
- 9:03like meatballs whatever. That's just unbelievable to me that they will have to go
- 9:07order put them in a little to go box on a right. Pike and
- 9:13Amanda in the morning, and this time for another round of this very exciting
- 9:20new, just brutally hypothetical dilemma game that we fondly call what do you Do?
- 9:30It's where Amanda and I will go back and forth and ask each other
- 9:31some hypothetical situations. Play along in your car. Please do it gets pretty
- 9:35intense. It does, It has historically gotten pretty intense. So Amanda,
- 9:39would you like to go first? Today? I would love to. All
- 9:43right, hit me Pike. You go for a stroll downtown Fargo. Beautiful
- 9:46day. There's an older woman with a cane. Being the gentleman that you
- 9:50are, you open the door for her. As she walks away, she
- 9:56drops a hundred dollar bill. Hmmm, hmm, what do you do?
- 10:03How we do it? That's not how we do it. I know we
- 10:05joked about you not doing it. Right, but it's week three and I
- 10:09just expected more from you. Remember this, Okay, I was waiting for
- 10:13you to hit it. You gotta cue me, You gotta say so,
- 10:18Pike anyway, jeez, hunter Pucks, Now, what do you do?
- 10:22Could use a benjie in my pocket? This poor old woman, sorry lady,
- 10:28that could be our last Hundo. No, okay, then no,
- 10:35I think I might just walk off. Wow, all right, all right,
- 10:37So Amandy, you're on a pontoon. You're out at the lake soaking
- 10:41up the sun. Yeah, another pontoon floats up. It's full of rough
- 10:46looking characters with imagined dragons blasting on the speaker system. They're all drinking Boone's
- 10:54Farm straight from the bottle. And then they say to you, hey,
- 10:56guys, mind if we hook up to you and Hardy commanded, real roth
- 11:07looking guys. Okay, what do you do? I'm gonna have to keep
- 11:13scooting, gonna forets. I'm gonna have to lower that motor and cruise off
- 11:20unless they have another bottle of Boone's Farm for me. I'm imagining they do.
- 11:22I'm imagining dragons they do. Oh my gosh, you know I'm scooting
- 11:28all right, that's very rude. Go ahead, all right, are you
- 11:31ready, Pike? I'm all right, I'm gonna do it right. Your
- 11:33wife, Lauren, she ends up getting pregnant. You guys are over the
- 11:39moon. The baby is due the exact same day that you have meet and
- 11:46greets for blink one eighty two. Of course, once in a lifetime chance
- 11:50to meet Travis Barker and the Gang. I love how you only know him.
- 11:56The two other guys are their names? That gang the biggest bands in
- 12:00the world. It's Mark and Tom. Get it right, anyway, go
- 12:01ahead. Your wife goes into labor. Oh, wow, the baby,
- 12:05it's coming. The baby is coming. You can't do both, yeah,
- 12:11so wow, holy cow, our first child. Huh, you only get
- 12:18one first child? Goes well, she don't want me there anyway. Oh,
- 12:26I would just get in the way. What did Nick do when your
- 12:30babies were born? It was during March Madness, Sidney Luanne was being born
- 12:33and uh, oh, I'm awful. Are you ready for this? He's
- 12:37watching March Madness and I ask for the mirror, so he has a mirror,
- 12:43like, oh, you wanted to look at yourself? No, Pike,
- 12:48when you have a kid, they ask you if you want to have
- 12:50a mirror so you can see the baby. Oh geez, sorry, man,
- 12:52I don't know how something that I've never done goes there's a mirror.
- 12:56Why what would you possibly want to see? Some people want to see the
- 13:01baby come out, but nice they do you want? My favorite is that
- 13:09Nick then had to see the mirror, so then he was very distracted from
- 13:13march madness. I's like, no, we have We're having a child right
- 13:16now. God. Yeah, Well, please don't compare some silly basketball tournament
- 13:22to meet and greets with a blank winnag. All right, anyway, m
- 13:26Amanda, you're at your daughter Sidney's dance recital. Oh, yep, she's
- 13:30not dancing yet, but she's up soon. You look over, and speaking
- 13:33of the devil, your husband Nick has a set of full over the ear
- 13:37headphones on and is watching Saving Private Ryan on an iPad. So, Amanda,
- 13:48hell the film? What do you do? Wow? That is a
- 13:56flick all relevant information? Yes? No, absolutely, Uh. I pulled
- 14:01the headphones off and I'm like, hey, Dad, daughter's up. Time
- 14:07to be a dad. Saving Private Ryan can wait for at least another hour.
- 14:11Hip pause, Dad, that's what do you do in the morning?
- 14:20Big night point seven. If you've had a wedding, you know you're very
- 14:24stressed. You want everything to go right right. I mean, man,
- 14:26you've been married, Oh my gosh, yes, a couple of times.
- 14:31You just get really anxious. There's just a lot of moving part there are.
- 14:35And this bride in particular, is very stressed about the reception she wants.
- 14:39They've got, they've got a band, which I love. I love
- 14:41having a live, nice one too. You're not messing with a bride.
- 14:45Well I didn't want to, but her maid of honor said it would be
- 14:48hilarious. Oh god, here we go. Hello, Hey, Brianna,
- 14:54this is Gary from agency. How are you. I'm good, I'm good.
- 15:00How are you doing good? Doing good? You see it. We're
- 15:03the of course agency that has booked the band for your wedding. You had
- 15:07booked for your reception later this month. Yeah. Yeah, so listen,
- 15:11I got some bad news. Okay, they're not able to make it.
- 15:18Um, did nothing happen? They're fine. However, the keyboard player,
- 15:22he didn't realize a little scheduling mishap. His niece's birthday party is actually going
- 15:28to be the same day is that reception. And they're just not going to
- 15:31be able to swing it. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.
- 15:35His niece's birthday party. Yeah, apparently it's been on the calendar for
- 15:39like over a year. He missed it and when we sent that date over,
- 15:43everybody said they were good to go. But it looks like, you
- 15:46know, unfortunately it's not going to work. And I know that this is
- 15:50an ideal. However, I can assure you that we're going to make sure
- 15:52everything's all right. We're gonna get you covered with the new band. We
- 15:56got a great Can they just get another player? No, Okay, we
- 16:02do have a great roster musicians here at agency. So I have three of
- 16:07them here that are volunteered to come in today and sing a little sample for
- 16:11you, because I want you to be happy with what we have, you
- 16:14know, given the not great circumstances. So what we'll do. I have
- 16:17three vocalists here ready to sing for you, and you're going to be able
- 16:19to decide, based on how they sound, who will be best for your
- 16:22reception. Okay, okay, I mean okay, all right. So first
- 16:26up, we have an up and coming female vocalist who's great, really getting
- 16:32a lot of good reviews from this one. She goes by daffodil, and
- 16:36she's here now, daffodil. Are you ready to sing for a little bit
- 16:37for Brianna? H huh? All right, and here we go one,
- 16:41two, three, that's enough daffodil, beautiful, Thank you so much.
- 16:55That's enough daffodil, Brianna, What are your thoughts on that one? Are
- 16:59you being for? Are you being serious? This is? I mean like
- 17:03I could sing that song better than that? Is that? Really? I
- 17:06don't hurt any feelings here. Let's remember we are on a phone line,
- 17:10all right, brand last minute? Okay, sure? So next up we
- 17:14have actually a very exciting male vocalist we've got on a roster here, really
- 17:18really some pipes on this dude. And a good looking guy too, by
- 17:22the way. He goes by the name Peanut. Peanuts, Are you ready?
- 17:26You? And three? Two? One? It looks like we lost
- 17:37it, maybe just out of wind. It's early, uh, Brianna,
- 17:41that was just a bite size sample of peanut. What are your thoughts?
- 17:48That can't be real? That sounded like the same person just singing lower like
- 17:52that. That's not it. No, Yeah, we do hear that a
- 17:55lot. They're both great. I mean, of course, hard to differentiate.
- 17:57Okay, well you know what there's all to do because I sense the
- 18:00area is a little bit of maybe hesitation on your end, so with peanut
- 18:04and daffodil. But I do have a duet here, and maybe this will
- 18:07be more up your alley. I do have one of the hottest new duets
- 18:10here in the Fargamorehead area. They go buy Pike in Amanda and we're get
- 18:15a lot of good reviews from these youngsters. So here you are, Pike
- 18:17Commander. You guys ready, yep? All right, Brianna, you're ready
- 18:19for the duet? Sure? One? Two? Three? Is this a
- 18:37joke? I don't understand what is going on. This cannot be real,
- 18:41Brianna. Do you want a band or not? I want the band that
- 18:45I booked. That's not gonna happen, Brianna. Because there's a niece's birthday
- 18:48party. Do you have kids? I don't have kids. I'm getting married.
- 18:52No, you can understand the very least the importance of a birthday party.
- 18:56You only turn four once she's four? What like, doesn't she's going
- 19:02to remember that? I can't. They should have at least made up a
- 19:04better Brianna, I'm so sorry. I'm I should not be metching with a
- 19:11bride. I'm just kidding. This is a total joke. You're right.
- 19:15What this is Pike and Amanda in the Morning on Big nine point seven,
- 19:18lovely duet you just heard. Oh my gosh, my arm breaks for you.
- 19:23You actually handled that way better than most brides. You are not a
- 19:27bride, clearly. I was no. I was gonna cry. I was
- 19:30gonna get cry. Oh my god, my heart is beating, so I
- 19:37was. I didn't even know what to do. I felt like mad,
- 19:38but also bad for these stingers. What do you mean? And they're very
- 19:42successful, Pina. Just you know, it's like live all the time at
- 19:48local places. Okay, Oh my god, if you're looking for somebody to
- 19:52be bad at, you're made of honor. By the way, put us
- 19:56up to this. She said that you've been very excited about the band,
- 19:59just hoping nothing would I'm gonna go wrong. Okay, are you a bumpinger
- 20:06to what? Bride's maid? No longer the maid of honor? Pike and
- 20:10Amenda in the Morning, Big Nutty eight point seven trending. Now here's what
- 20:18you need to know. This is devastating. Five people are still unaccounted for.
- 20:22And that search and rescue operation in Davenport, Iowa, where an apartment
- 20:26building partially collapsed. This was on Sunday, so nine people had already been
- 20:30pulled from the rubble since the collapse. I guess this one hundred and sixteen
- 20:33year old building. People have been complaining about it for years, the condition
- 20:37of it. They do now plan to demolish it completely. But they still
- 20:40have five people that they can't find. Oh so sad, heartbreak. Minds
- 20:42you of the was a Florida in Miami a couple years ago, a ton
- 20:45of people. I forgot about that. So sad and it happened. Danny
- 20:51Masterson was convicted on two counts of forcible rape after his second trial on charges
- 20:56that he sexually assaulted several women in the early two thousands. Now, the
- 20:59jury reached their decision yesterday after deliberating for more than six days. They found
- 21:03him guilty of raping two women in two thousand and three. They could not
- 21:07reach a verdict on the November two thousand and one allegation involving an next girlfriend.
- 21:11He could face either a life in prison or thirty years behind bars.
- 21:15For these two charges. His next hearing is set for August fourth, but
- 21:18we're getting some more details about this. Yesterday, his wife was in court
- 21:22let out a whale as a verdict was being read. I think, like
- 21:26everybody, she probably just wasn't expecting any of this. She could barely keep
- 21:30her composure as she left the courtroom. He was remanded right away because of
- 21:33the violent nature of his crimes, saying he's posing a flight risk. But
- 21:37he kind of guilty, right, You go to prison when you're guilty.
- 21:40Yeah, But when he was walking to the court room, you could just
- 21:41kind of feel like there was a little bit of just like, I'm good
- 21:45like he did. Oh many people on the internet back, Oh it was
- 21:48so long ago. It's like, yeah, well the guy got away with
- 21:51it for twenty years, and it seems like justice has been served finally,
- 21:56and pretty spars. She absolutely does not care. She's fine with Kevin Frederlie
- 22:00moving the kids to Hawaii. They're sixteen and seventeen years old. That meal
- 22:04Ticket's going to be running out of money, though, and Cathead is facing
- 22:07some other legal issues, so she gives him twenty thousand dollars a month for
- 22:11child support, but for some reason, he's not using it properly because a
- 22:15private Christian school in California is suing him for owing more than fifteen thousand dollars

- 23:27her role as Samantha Jones in the season two finale of And just like that,
- 23:33so this would be the first time for this Sex and the City spin
- 23:34off for them all to be together. She didn't do any of the movies,
- 23:38or did you do two of the movies or one? And then anybody
- 23:41invested there was some beef going on and they're very vocal about it, especially
- 23:45Kim Cantrell. Well, then you click on the story and she shot her
- 23:49dialogue on March twenty second in New York City without even seeing any of the

- 24:04reconcile and get together. That's not a reconciliation. They didn't do anything.
- 24:07She just why would she even agree to do that? How much should they
- 24:11pay her? Because I assume that's why I was going to say, that
- 24:12is exactly why she did it. Well to do a phone call that's so
- 24:15annoying and kind of funny because she has really stuck to her guns, like,
- 24:19I am not going to be a part of this. Did she do
- 24:22it for the fans? If anything? I feel like it would make you

- 25:33the verdict and they just caught up with Amber Heard. She's still in Spain
- 25:36and they asked her some questions. Uh this is what she had to say.
- 25:40Okay, well yeah, So there was a paparazzo that caught up with
- 25:53her and they posted this to TikTok. They asked her if she was a
- 25:56part of any film project. She said, oh yeah, and asked if
