- 0:25Welcome inside the Treehouse. This is day two, Day two of five days
- 0:33in a row inside the Treehouse. This is the super stupid week inside the
- 0:39Treehouse. Welcome. I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma.
- 0:45My butterflies are still still there a little bit, but not as much as
- 0:50yesterday. But they're still there, still excited. So it's that combination of
- 0:54anxious and excited all at the same time. Trey, how are you feeling
- 0:58you good to go? Yeah, feeling good? Awesome? Raj, how
- 1:03about you? Solid? But just uh, I'm sorry a little distracted.
- 1:08Uh. You guys are following the Michigan trial, right the mom who's on
- 1:15trial by now for the school shooting thing. Uh No, I have not
- 1:19been following that. What's going on Her son was the Michigan school shooter.
- 1:23Who I might have to stop you there. This is a really sad thing
- 1:27I'm about to say, but it needs to be said. Which one is
- 1:32that? Uh, he's a fifteen year old that shot up to school?
- 1:36I believe it was. Again, I have to ask which one is that
- 1:42he's Uh, the kid's name is it's A Really, it's a it's a
- 1:49if this was a British TV show that you would That's what it was.
- 1:52Ethan Crumbly is his name? Oh okay, gotcha? Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:55so the Crumblies are on Sorry just just saying the Crumbley's are on trial,
- 2:01but the mom is on valve because she they were aware. I think Trey,
- 2:07you might know a little bit about this. I think something about his
- 2:09kid is the one where they gave him a nine millimeter but for like his
- 2:15birthday, but they were aware he had he had he was having mental issues.
- 2:20Yeah, he lived in crazy town. They lived in Pontiac, Michigan.
- 2:25Yeah, and for his birthday they decided to give him a They decided
- 2:29to give him a firearm four days before he shot up the school. How
- 2:34old is he or how old was he at the time? I should say
- 2:37I believe fifteen. Oh yeah, she's going to jail. Yeah yeah what
- 2:45uh? I mean that's the that was the birthday present. Yeah. You
- 2:50know what I got to say. If that kids seventeen or eighteen, then
- 2:55mama might skate. But at fifty team. Yeah, and you said that
- 3:00he it's known that he has mental health issues. Yeah. The only skating
- 3:06she's going to be doing is in prison. Yeah, they brought got him
- 3:12out of his mental health clinic a couple of times leading up to this,
- 3:16and then four days before the actual shooting was his birthday, and happy birthday,
- 3:22crazy kid, here's a pistol with bullets? Okay, hang on?
- 3:28Was was the handgun a birthday present or a you just got out of the
- 3:34nuthouse gift, you know what? Or are the parents cheap and they it's
- 3:38a little from column A little from column B. Only we're so proud of
- 3:44you for getting out of the nuthouse. But it's also your birthday. Here's
- 3:47here's you a pew pew. It's like if you were born on the twenty
- 3:52sixth of December. It's like, here's a Christmas present and your birthday president.
- 3:55Yeah. So yeah, you know, the most moms pack lunches for
- 4:00their kids. Yeah, this one was packing eat So thank you for picking
- 4:04up what I was throwing down. Good job. We were firing on all
- 4:09cylinders, all firing. This is all. This is all a really poor
- 4:13taste. Yeah. I just thought, like I don't I'm I'm an Indian
- 4:18kid. My parents' immigrants from India. Like nobody got who gives a kid
- 4:25a firearm, Like, who does this move? Like? I don't.
- 4:29I mean lots of parents do for fifteen year olds. Like I got a
- 4:32Superman cake once and I was like, and they had like an actual like
- 4:36figure eating like a little action figure of Superman on it. And I was
- 4:42like, oh my god, greatest day ever. This came with an action
- 4:47figure. Well that's the difference, Raj, between regular Mesquite kids and immigrant
- 4:54Mesquite kids. You got a Superman action figure, whereas other Mesquite kids got
- 5:00double action things. Yeah. I guess I don't know. That's weird to
- 5:09me. I don't know the answer to this question, but I have a
- 5:12really strong gut feeling on this. Okaya, Raj, are you ready?
- 5:16Yeah? I think I know someone that probably experienced this firearm gift type exchange
- 5:24from their parents. Trey. I. I did not receive a firearm as
- 5:34a gift. My dad had no faith in me to be trust me enough
- 5:40to do that. But but what he where he was brilliant, And because
- 5:43and I didn't want one, he had a excuse me, Oh yeah,
- 5:48clear that throat just like a clear out a dead round. Sorry, I
- 5:56said, clear out your throat the way you clear out a jam. He
- 5:59had a soft off Mossburg twelve gage. Oh yeah you did. And I
- 6:03don't know if you know anything about Mosburg's. They kicked like a mule sawt
- 6:06off shotgun. It even kicks worse. And I, you know, just
- 6:11thought that was the coolest thing ever. And so he didn't give me any
- 6:15instruction or anything. So first time I shot it, you know, I'm
- 6:18not I don't know how I'm holding it away from my shoulder. Oh no,
- 6:25oh yeah. He took me down here. We had a creek there
- 6:29and through and so you know, just shooting into the bank of the creek.
- 6:31This is better and better. Not only am I surprised that you still
- 6:35have an arm, but your dad was so brilliant that he took you down
- 6:39to the creek so in case there was blood, he could throw you in
- 6:42the water immediately, so your mom would be none the wiser. Yeah,
- 6:48this is the whitest story. Oh yeah, no, he took me out
- 6:53there, gotta you know, good distance. It's like, all right,
- 6:57there you go, put one shell in it, so you know there was
- 7:00not gonna be any problems. Yeah, pulled the trigger. That thing kicked
- 7:03back. It knocked me ten feet back. Oh, I literally, and
- 7:08I was probably I don't know, I was probably about fifteen, and uh,
- 7:13I cried, Oh lord, I scared me and I cried. So
- 7:19it's interesting, Raj. So what happened to Trey was I initially was thinking
- 7:24that he would he would have had the right of passage that so many sons
- 7:28had with their fathers, and that was the gifting of a firearm. Instead,
- 7:31it was the other version of a right of passage between father and son,
- 7:36and that was the firearm joke. Yeah, where I'm not giving this
- 7:43to you, but I'm going to use you as my own live version of
- 7:46jackass. Take this soot off twelve gage and go shoot it out the creek
- 7:50and I'm going to stand behind you about twenty thirty yards and laugh my old
- 7:55ass off and a very good lesson. And guns do a lot of damage,
- 8:01so as fun as they look on TV. Yeah, Raj, you've
- 8:07ever heard the term, uh, spray and pray? Yes, it is
- 8:13that with the the isn't that mostly with machine guns? Like it just kind
- 8:16of yeah, yeah, typically that's what you'd use in terms of in reference
- 8:20to an automatic weapon. You're just holding down the trigger and you're just moving
- 8:22left to right, spraying and praying, letting, letting the thing do what's
- 8:26worth. You're not even aiming, hence the praying with a sowd Off twelve
- 8:30gage. You're spraying, but you don't have to pray because it's gonna hit
- 8:33it and it's and it's going to be ugly. So when you when you
- 8:39actually fired, when you actually fired the the the joke from your father.
- 8:46Did you actually have it up near your shoulder or did you go or did
- 8:52you go rambo style? And did you shoot it from the hip or rifleman
- 8:56style? Shoot it from the hip? No, No, no, I
- 8:58I I had it up like you know you should as far as up where
- 9:05it had I just pushed it back it would have been against my shoulder,
- 9:07but no, it was facing forward to get maximum thrust back into my shoulder
- 9:13where yeah, it felt like it broke it. And so at no point
- 9:16did he go, that's not how you do that. No, he wanted,
- 9:18he wanted, he knew what was going to happen. He wanted.
- 9:22He wanted to break me of any desires I had at the time to have
- 9:26a gun other than you know, I had a twenty two and a four
- 9:31ten that you know, to go shoot snakes with. But my dad was
- 9:35not a big gun for I mean, he had that gun for protection,
- 9:37he wouldn't hunt or anything like that. And so he just really wanted to
- 9:41break me of and he teach me a lesson about guns and it worked.
- 9:46He wanted he wanted to scare the curiosity out of you that he knew that
- 9:50you would have. Ye, it's similar to sort of like Trey when your
- 9:54dad taught you to swim. Was his method, like so many other dads,
- 9:58just are you in and see if you make it? Yeah? Oh
- 10:03okay? Is there another way? According to psychiatrists, yes, I had
- 10:13the opposite situation. So I was in a very white fraternity in college and
- 10:20they were all hunters. They were all from various parts of southeast and West
- 10:26Texas. And they went to the gun range one day and I went with
- 10:31and I had never fired a gun before, and I got to do the
- 10:35same thing I had. There was a twenty two, there was an chi
- 10:37and K I believe it was a forty four, and then there was a
- 10:41desert eagle. Oh yeah yeah. And so the first time I shot the
- 10:48H and K. That was my first time at the target at the target
- 10:50thing that's in the back at the end of the range, not the closes
- 10:54range. It was an outdoor range, so there was like the targets and
- 10:56then like the big hill of sand. So if you miss, and I
- 11:01fired it three times, and not to brag, I didn't know this was
- 11:05a thing. But you could cover it with a quarter. My three shots
- 11:09and really at what distance I don't remember it was so probably I have no
- 11:16idea. It's those outdoor ranges. I don't know how far they go,
- 11:18but you could cover it with a quarter. And my buddy Richie, my
- 11:24turning brother, goes give me the gun, and he goes, you don't
- 11:26need to own a firearm. And I said why He goes, the joy
- 11:31on your face right now, tells me you don't need this because Okay,
- 11:37So I want to make sure that I want to make sure that I understand
- 11:45all of this properly in context. Okay, yeah, So I'm trying to
- 11:48think of your very first form, the very first time you fired a handgun.
- 11:52It's not just a pea shooter. It's a forty four. It's a
- 11:56forty h and K forty four. It's a forty four and three shots,
- 12:01and your grouping was so good it could be covered with a quarter at distance.
- 12:05Yes, And I didn't know that was a thing, And and you
- 12:09derived much pleasure from this, so much so that all there was three of
- 12:13us. It was me, Richie, Bobby, and Hank, all three
- 12:18turny brothers, and they all were like, you need to sit out now,
- 12:20like, no more you ever owning a gun, because so it turns
- 12:26you are the Indian deadpool. No, but here's here's when I and then
- 12:31they were right, that was that was a beginner's luck fluke thing. Because
- 12:35Richie then gives me the Desert Eagle, and I do remember this very vividly.
- 12:39There was a bird that was on the target at one point. The
- 12:41birds, you know, flying around everywhere, purchase on the target that I'm
- 12:46aiming at, and I have the Desert Eagle, and he's like, you
- 12:48gotta lock your arms because of the kick and all that stuff. I didn't
- 12:52know that was the thing. So I locked my arms and I'm like,
- 12:54yeah, man, I'm gonna show these guys. I'm gonna I'm gonna hit
- 12:56dead center of the three shots that I just fired, and I blew the
- 13:01ship out of that bird. Just blew him up. Just uh there were
- 13:05his claws were still on the target. Oh my god, I just fired
- 13:11Desert eg only comes in two models, A forty four, and it was
- 13:18beautiful. I know that it was gold and it had an ivory handle,
- 13:22and I was like, wow, this is really cool. They weigh they
- 13:24weighed like six pounds. So not so not only are you the Indian Deadpool,
- 13:30but you're also the Indian Randy Johnson. There are now two men that
- 13:37that that are on record as having made birds disappear. Yeah, and then
- 13:43their own hands. And then the Hindu guilt settled in when I saw the
- 13:48explosion of the bird, because it was just instantaneous and it was just feathers
- 13:54and then the feet were still there. The clause was and I was like,
- 13:58I'm sorry, I I kind of feel badly for that bird. But
- 14:03the picture in my mind is just Chef's kissing and it's I feel like,
- 14:09I feel like we need an artist depiction. I'm going to see if I
- 14:11can commission our buddy Aaron Ariumpoor to draw this very momentous benchmark in your life,
- 14:20Raj. Yeah, and then that's the last time I ever fired a
- 14:22weapon because I was like, I felt so bad for killing the bird,
- 14:26like I can't, I can't let They're like, and that's when even Richie
- 14:30was like, hey, now you look sad. That's how you should feel
- 14:35something like that, because you had scared him so badly, like because you
- 14:41the brownskinned guy was a good shot, and so they were like, you
- 14:45don't need to do that anything. It has a fine line between the first
- 14:54time and training. You're listening to the Treehouse Pleasms online at treehouseowair dot com.

- 16:21into the Treehouse now two one, four, three six eight thirty eight thirty
- 16:22eight. That is the number to call for any and all of those plumbing
- 16:26wants and needs. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Now, Jacqueline,
- 16:32what is the scariest bug, pest, critter, whatever that you or
- 16:37one of your guys has discovered in or under or around a house. Mice
- 16:42definitely a thing. Rats are a thing. There was something that happened.
- 16:47It's like we injured the twilight zone of watermeters a couple of years ago,
- 16:52and every time a watermeter got opened a city meter, not by us,
- 16:56but by our guys and other companies that were friends with There were snakes in
- 17:00it, and it was like three years ago. Every time we opened a
- 17:03watermeanor there was a snake in it. And it wasn't like somebody's family snake
- 17:08that they were like, be free, my friend. It was just like
- 17:11legitimate. I think there were rattlesnakes. I'm not a snake expert. You
- 17:15know, you learn when you're little. The diamond head you stay away from
- 17:18it. The oval head you're probably okay. But it just everywhere on social
- 17:23media. Every plumber I knew found this snake, found this snake. It
- 17:26was insane. So we started telling guys when you open the lid, take
- 17:30a step back and take a second. It was just not worth it.
- 17:33Yeah, I think. I think it's one of those things that if you're
- 17:37going to advise people, especially children, when you discover a snake or a
- 17:41creepy crawley of any kind and they're unfamiliar with it, it might be cool
- 17:45to be brave and look cool, but in the end it's fun to run.
- 17:51Oh oh yeah, I'd be the first one out of there, and
- 17:55I'd like the old saying goes, I'll push somebody down to get away first.
- 17:57I'm not afraid to admit that I don't have to the fastest runner.

- 19:07For any and all of your plumbing wants and needs end the website again Brooks
- 19:10Plumbing Texas dot com. Rajer, I thought it was actually pretty interesting how
- 19:14you mentioned after destroying that feathered creature living peace for me. Yes, it
- 19:21did on top of a gun range target, which, if we're being honest,
- 19:26kind of the bird's fault. They're not yours. That's that's that was
- 19:30their justification, like, hey, he shouldn't have been there, or it
- 19:32should have been there in the first place. Uh. And I was like,
- 19:34I still, like, I remember going to the convenience store afterwards,
- 19:38and I was like, I still feel really bad about the bird, as
- 19:41like I can on a pistol. I appreciate what you call it. You're
- 19:47a Hindu guilt. Hindu guilt, yes, so part of the Hindu belief
- 19:52system is reincarnation, right, Yes, So that's what I immediately got me
- 19:57thinking about my own problems, Like how many of us do we take someone
- 20:03that someone we take something that someone says and immediately make it about ourselves.
- 20:07So that's what I did. Yeah, you're worried about your destruction of a
- 20:11feathered of a peaceful feathered creature, Yes, possibly causing you to return in
- 20:18the next life as some sort of insect dung beetle. That's my fear,
- 20:22dung beetle. Okay, I'm glad. I'm glad to know where your head
- 20:26is on this because this this involves me now, because I think you guys
- 20:33have seen and I've told you about how uh we have a pest issue,
- 20:38not a major one, but on occasion we have seen we have seen some
- 20:42creepy Crawley's at our new house on Saint John that that we are renting,
- 20:47and and a couple of times there has been a scorpion in the house.
- 20:52The first time it was alive, and then I tried to kill it,
- 20:55put it in a cup outside and never saw it again. So for all
- 20:57I know, it's still out there, just really angry. No, I
- 21:02say it came back into shed. Yeah, that's the same one therein lies
- 21:07the second Yeah, and still pissed off. The second siding was a scorpion
- 21:15on my sleep shorts, the shorts that I sleep in very soft, very
- 21:21comfy, and I had just taken them off put them over the headboard while
- 21:25as I was changing clothes into my active wear shorts and I notice five minutes
- 21:30after changing clothes. There's a scorpion attached to my sleep shorts. Scoop it
- 21:36in a cup, take it outside, take it about a half mile down
- 21:40the road, and I try to fling it out of the fuzzies cup and
- 21:45instead of it flinging the way something with weight is supposed to, it instead
- 21:51kind of fluttered like a leaf to the ground, which led me to google
- 21:56do scorpions shed, and in fact they do, which brings up trace that
- 22:00this is the first scorpion I tried to kill. It came back, came
- 22:03inside. Shit, it's smaller scorpion exoskeleton and is now bigger, faster,
- 22:10stronger and waiting for me. Yeah, and it laid a bunch of eggs
- 22:15and yeah, which a big thank you for our treehouse insiders who sent me
- 22:22all sorts of photos and videos of of of mama scorpions shedding baby scorpions,
- 22:29because I'm familiar with that in the spider world, because I know that mama's
- 22:33you know, they got the spiders on their back or in the sack,
- 22:36and then if you squorsh them, then all the little spider lings run out
- 22:38right. Apparently it's since scorpions are also arachnid. It's very similar. And
- 22:44I now know that thanks to our Dickhead Treehouse insiders for sending me all these
- 22:48things. I mean, I love you guys. Thank you. So the
- 22:52other night on a walk, we're walking our Chiuaha Bella and where I live
- 23:00on Saint John. It's up on a place called Bordeaux Mountain. It's the
- 23:03highest point of Saint John in the US Virgin Islands. I'm not saying that
- 23:06to brag. I'm just saying just to give you the pink the picture.
- 23:08Okay, there are no street lamps on our road. When I say it's
- 23:15pitch black, I am not exaggerating. It is pitch black. You have
- 23:18to have a really good ass flashlight to see where you're going, otherwise you
- 23:22will trip over something and into the gut and roll down the mountain and die.
- 23:30So we're walking Bella. We've got our fifteen thousand lumens flashlight, and
- 23:37the flashlight is shining on the road on the ground to see where we're going.
- 23:42And that's when I see it. I see the scariest insect, the
- 23:49most frightening, beguiling, murderous beetle I have ever seen in my life.
- 24:00Wow. And it's not a normal sized beetle. Oh no, this is
- 24:03not a june bug. This is not a this is not even a roach.
- 24:07This isn't even one of those hissing cockroaches. This is hand to God
- 24:15as big as your hand. Fucking bug. Wow. Okay, this is
- 24:21the kind of bug that I had only seen, not just in movies,
- 24:25but the kind of bug that they show in movies when they're trying to depict
- 24:30life on other planets. Wow, this was a Star Wars style beetle.
- 24:37This was a beetle that Spock would have inspected meticulously on Star Trek. This
- 24:45is not a creature of this Earth, and it's on my road. M
- 24:48hm. So I did what I normally do in these situations, I go
- 24:55to the Internet for answers. And so what I did was I googled scary
- 25:02ass beetle. Mm hmm. I'm not making this up. I'm going to
- 25:07show you. See if you can see on my phone, you see the
- 25:10text there? Can you read that? It says on the Google search scary
- 25:14ass beetle? Right, yep, you know what you want to see?
- 25:18What the first The first image that popped up was Ringo Herbie you know,
- 25:26those are two really good answers. See why I tell you guys. You
- 25:37guys do much better on the fly. I would like to thank Trey and
- 25:44Raj for this impromptu version of wrong Answers Only, which will which we will
- 25:52be playing on a planned scale this week inside the Treehouse. Wrong Answers Only.
- 25:57But uh in this case the scary ass beetle. The first thing that
- 26:03pops up was in fact my scary ass beetle. So I'm not the only
- 26:07person who have ever googled this, let alone get the correct image response this,
- 26:11gentleman, is my scary ass beetle? Oh no, uh uh,
- 26:17that's not That's not a thing. Who's the person holding it? Is that?
- 26:21That's not? Okay, that's the Google search I thought. No,
- 26:22that is not my hand. No, that's I am not picking that thing
- 26:29up. I'm not going to be anywhere close enough to even touch it or
- 26:32smell it. I didn't like seeing it. Isn't if I'm isn't that the
- 26:38titan beetle? Is that what they're called the world's largest beetle? Not that
- 26:45is correct? That is, in fact the titan beetle. Underneath the heading
- 26:51of insects slash scary animals. This thing is truly terrifying. This is the
- 27:00spawn of Satan. It has to be because they're indigenous to Central America,
- 27:06I believe. So I don't know what it's doing. Well, they apparently
- 27:08know how to operate boats because they found their way here. I think that
- 27:17was found on SETI Alpha five. See this. This is the type of
- 27:25thing that NASA doesn't realize. This is the type of stuff that Hollywood has
- 27:30been trying to tell NASA and Tesla and Space explores the world over. Just
- 27:38because you find life on other planets doesn't mean it's the life you want to
- 27:42find, right, Because if it's this guy, yeah, my theory is
- 27:48you're a scorpion that you tried to murder, Like that's its cousin that lived
- 27:52in Central America. And he's like, hey man, this dick keeps trying
- 27:56to kill me. And the Titan beatle will like, hey, did you
- 28:00leave him a message? Like I put my skin on the shorts and he'd
- 28:03tried to kill that too, and he's like, I need you to come
- 28:07up here, and he's like, dude, deal, where do they walk
- 28:07at night? Yeah? And then I think you may be onto something rang
- 28:12and you said, you said Central America. Yeah, so so that means
- 28:17that this bug lives in places like Columbia, which which then, if you
- 28:22can follow my train of thought, means that not only is this beetle huge
- 28:26and terrifying, but it's also on cocaine. And now we have a sequel
- 28:36to cocaine bear. Yes, cocaine beetle, cocaine beetle, which was all
- 28:41because this this beetle. You know how like if you were to run over
- 28:45a june bug, it would just you know, squorsh it. Yeah,
- 28:51this is you could You could be in a Ford f three point fifty king
- 28:56ranch with a six inch lift glass pass running uh step rails all of it,
- 29:04and you run over this titan beetle. That's a that's a speed bump.
- 29:08Yeah, I think it's not gonna give. And if you notice,
- 29:12if you notice on this beetle, it has what appears to be antenna right
- 29:21on this big ass bug. That's not antenna. Those are antlers. Antlers
- 29:26I thought they were. I thought they had like the because the scorpion,
- 29:30I thought I had the pincers as well. Well. It has those two
- 29:33that's its mouth parts. The little mandibles that are terrifying. It has those
- 29:37and those are scary, and coming off of those are the loci style antlers.
- 29:42Right, so, and this is next to your house, now,
- 29:45like how far? How far into the walk did you get? Not far
- 29:49enough. I'm just wondering if it was trying to find your house, like
- 29:56if it was walking up, like, hey, do you know where the
- 29:57o'maleys are and you're like, oh, no, Titan Beetle, we sure
- 30:02don't, And he's like, cool, I'll just keep walking and see where
- 30:03you guys are at. So I don't know if, like tomorrow you wake
- 30:07up and there's him on your shorts. Yeah, it's funny that you mentioned
- 30:11that, Raj, because that's exactly what happened. And then it tried to
- 30:17sell you an eight ball. It did, and we bought it, and
- 30:25because we didn't want it, and because we didn't want it to know where
- 30:29we lived, we just kept walking. And since we had split an eight
- 30:33ball, we never stopped walking. I'm not even on the island anymore doing
- 30:38this show. I am actually, I am actually in Dallas. We never
- 30:44stopped walking. That's so good of a product that this Titan Beetle produces.
- 30:51He has got one customer and it's you, guys. But that's also to
- 30:56show you how committed we are to making sure this bug doesn't know where we
- 30:59actually you got. You got huge balls, buddy, because I don't know
- 31:03when you move like you've got scorpions and now you've got titan beetles at some
- 31:07Well, let me tell you about the bats. Okay, oh all right,
- 31:15because it's not all it's not all fun in the sun here, which
- 31:18that does exist, and Tray can attest he came here. He came here
- 31:22last year and enjoyed himself. But where we live, in the jungle ish
- 31:27area of the moist forest of Bordeaux Mountain on Saint John, there are different
- 31:33it's a different life up here. It's not just you know, the sun,
- 31:37the sand and the sea. It's these creatures, including bats. So
- 31:41in the in the little gap between the wood decking of the house and the
- 31:45galvanized roof. Okay, somehow, in the tiny gap between those two,
- 31:52a little family of bats lives so and they chirp at six am and six
- 31:59pm on the button. It's like you guys, like Tray, you went
- 32:02to college in Austin, raj You went to college at San Marcus. So
- 32:07you guys are very familiar with the bats and how like clockwork they will come
- 32:10out from underneath the Congress bridge. Right, Yep, same thing here.
- 32:15We have a tiny little coven of bats. They go whoa out into the
- 32:19jungle to eat mosquitos, which is great. That's why I like them.
- 32:22But they're very chirpy. And because they're chirpy, they wake us up at
- 32:28six am. At six am, they start chirping. And I don't even
- 32:32know how they do it because all my experiences with bats have been on TV
- 32:36and movies. Right, I wouldn't think that that little gap between the roof
- 32:38and the wood decking of the house would be enough for a bat to enjoy
- 32:43a home, but I guess it is. But it also brings me to
- 32:50the repulsion of said bats. So Tara got on Amazon and said, I'm
- 32:53going to get rid of these bats, and she found a device on Amazon
- 32:57that is supposed to repel the bats. Yeah. I believe it's like if
- 33:04you played Call of Duty. It looks like a field suppression mine. Uh,
- 33:07it's kind of round, kind of it looks like it looks like a
- 33:10like a device shaped like mount killiman jarro It's a plateau, if you will.
- 33:15So it's three different examples of what this thing looks like. I can't
- 33:17give you any better descriptions than those three. If you don't know, then
- 33:20look it up on Amazon. Bat repeller. And so she bought one and
- 33:23it came in the mail the other day and she deployed it, and instead
- 33:29of it repelling the bats, it seems to have emboldened them. Because have
- 33:34you ever seen the little video of bats upside down? So, like you
- 33:39know how bats hang out upside down? Well, have you ever seen the
- 33:44image the video of them flipped up so it looks like the upright? Yeah?
- 33:47Yeah, you can find it on YouTube. It's called hanging bats filmed
- 33:52upside down look like a goth night club. That's the greatest thing I've seen
- 34:07all day. That bat was doing an eight ball in the bathroom. So
- 34:16I believe this has found footage of our roof. We have instead of repelling
- 34:23the bats, we have turned it into a bat goth nightclub. Two shows
- 34:31per day, six pm and six am. Well, Daniel, if there
- 34:37was ever an animal that was going to continue to terrorize you, it's only
- 34:40fitting. Well fucking played, Thank you slow clap, sir. That's good
- 35:00stuff. That is. Oh man. Yeah, if this were an eighties
- 35:04movie, you just won the Girl and the eight ball. That's it.
- 35:10True eighties, true eighties field. All right, thanks for hanging out with
- 35:15us for day two inside the Treehouse of five days super Stupid Week in the
- 35:21Treehouse. We'll see you back here tomorrow for day three of super Stupid Week,
- 35:28right here in the treehouse. Fucking bats.
