- Shaun: Back to the reset. I am Sean Tucker, human performance scientist and authority architect. We are here in the Living Lab documenting the science, the struggle, and the shift for every high performance dad and founder who is ready to bridge the gap between their presence and their ambition. Today we're in the Living Lab discussing whether or not you should take action when you don't feel good, or when you feel good you should take action. I say do both. Action happens anyway, whether it's thought, whether it's actually moving your body, or whether it's working on an email or whatever it is, taking action will always put you in a better position if you if you took no action at all. Taking action is also meditating. Taking action is thought form. It is experiencing the feelings. It is it's just not avoiding what it is you are supposed to do. And maybe your process is exactly that. ⁓ Maybe your process is to actually go ahead and feel what it is that you are avoiding. I don't know. This is a hard thing because it is a bit of a predicament. If you were to know what it is that you are meant to feel, wouldn't you allow yourself to feel it? I'm sure it's not as bad as what you think it is. But at the same time, are you moving when you're avoiding taking that action of feeling? If you're moving, well maybe maybe those action steps are actually helping you not by avoiding what you're not feeling, but actually moving you to where it's turning it into something productive. I really don't know. And I don't think there is an answer to this. I think really the key is learning to trust your own inner self, learning to trust that gut instinct or that message that comes from within yourself that says, keep going. Stop. This doesn't feel right. Whatever it is for you. How do you turn that on? Well you get quiet. You learn to get very quiet. And you filter out the noise. Because at some point you will hear these things coming from outside. They'll come in the forms of people They come in the forms of friends, people that you meet on the street, friends that you have around you, colleagues, networking people, you name it, these people will remind you and deliver messages to you that are meant for you at that right moment. Because you can only hear what you're meant to hear. And I guess the key is how do you go a little bit further in and hear what isn't coming from outside, but is coming from within each side I think this is the key part. If you can learn to trust that part of you that is communicating what it is that you want, what it is that will take you to that next step 'cause you only need to take that next step. Then you need to get quiet. Really quiet. The more you steal your body, the The more quiet you'll become. When I'm talking about being quiet, I'm not talking about you speaking words. I'm talking about your mind becoming His thoughts slow down. What's interesting is the thoughts get louder the more still you become until you hit a point. With it's nothing but How long does that take? One moment. That moment that moment could take a lifetime. It could take several lifetimes to reach. But when it comes, you better be ready for it. Cause it's been waiting for you. I don't know if this episode has been helpful, but if it has, share it with one person. That brings us to the end of the episode of the reset. If you're ready to stop being a passenger in your own life and start being the architect of your legacy, make sure you comment the word reset and I'll send you this seven day integrity reset.
