- 0:00Hello, good morning, welcome.
- 0:03I am Samuel Trapp.
- 0:04This is International Flavor.
- 0:07You are listening to DAM Radio this morning.
- 0:10Old Jimmy was playing a little longer than
- 0:13I intended this morning, Mr. Hendrix.
- 0:17I didn't calculate properly.
- 0:19Sorry about that, but you don't want to
- 0:20cut it off in the middle of the
- 0:21song, do you?
- 0:22Well, maybe so.
- 0:23Maybe next time I'll be a little more
- 0:26careful.
- 0:26If you feel like calling in today, 573
- 0:28-746-8020, listen live all the time at
- 0:34damradio.com forward slash live.
- 0:37Send in emails to live at damradio.com
- 0:41or straight to me, Samuel T.
- 0:44at International Flavor.
- 0:47Let's see.
- 0:50Damn it.
- 0:51Now I have to be two-step verified.
- 0:53I don't two-step.
- 0:54I tried to two-step when I lived
- 0:56in Texas and I was very, very uncoordinated.
- 1:02So the two-step never quite worked out
- 1:04for me.
- 1:04You'd see all these guys shoving along the
- 1:06floor looking pretty good and they were good
- 1:08at the dance.
- 1:09Well, I just had to stand in a
- 1:11corner and be a wallflower and buy lots
- 1:14of alcohol to get girls interested in me,
- 1:17right?
- 1:17Or at least I thought they were interested
- 1:18in me because I could drink a lot
- 1:20of alcohol.
- 1:20See, faking begins right there.
- 1:23Just sell yourself a model and that model
- 1:26will be yours.
- 1:28Let's see.
- 1:29I wanted to talk today.
- 1:31I've been, did you see what happened immediately?
- 1:34So yesterday, I told you that Victor Orban
- 1:40lost his election, right?
- 1:41So he lost his election in Hungary and
- 1:43he was the only one defending against increasing
- 1:47war, improving war, right?
- 1:49Now all of Europe is right now pushing,
- 1:51pushing, pushing for war.
- 1:53Now, not the people that live there.
- 1:54They don't want war.
- 1:55Now, a lot of them are anti-Russia.
- 1:57They don't know why, but they are and
- 1:59they have no idea why.
- 2:00And it's pretty funny because I've talked to
- 2:02some of them and they really don't know.
- 2:04It's just we hate Russia and we're supposed
- 2:07to hate Russia.
- 2:07That's how it is.
- 2:08And so Orban lost in large part because
- 2:11of Trump's support is what all the analysis
- 2:16and analysts are saying.
- 2:21And there's some, some, that sounds reasonable to
- 2:27me as an argument.
- 2:28Trump's not doing well on the world stage
- 2:30and that's unfortunate for him.
- 2:33And it's unfortunate for the movement that really
- 2:36started as make America great again.
- 2:39You don't make America great again by destroying,
- 2:42destroying other people.
- 2:44If you got to destroy other people to
- 2:46make yourself great, you got problems.
- 2:48And that's true in life.
- 2:51It's true as a country.
- 2:52You don't destroy others to make yourselves great.
- 2:55And there was my view now, Mr. Trump,
- 2:59my view, you know, this is, this is
- 3:00only me talking and I'm a, I'm a
- 3:02random normal used to call myself the average
- 3:05white man because I'm five foot nine and
- 3:08I'm average build and have the average income.
- 3:12You know, I'm Mr. Average, right?
- 3:14And so you put me in there and
- 3:17I'm the average white guy.
- 3:18I'm the guy you were trying to impress
- 3:21and to elect.
- 3:23And, you know, I really, I'm always suspicious
- 3:25cause I'm just that type of guy.
- 3:27And I'm a suspicious guy and I was
- 3:30suspicious all the way through.
- 3:32You didn't turn me off in your first
- 3:35term.
- 3:35I wasn't turned off, but I wasn't necessarily,
- 3:39it's going to sound bad, turned on either.
- 3:41You know, it, it, it was all right.
- 3:43I can handle some of that.
- 3:45And I gave him a lot of points
- 3:47because of the beatings he took and a
- 3:51guy that can take a beating like that,
- 3:53you gotta respect, right?
- 3:55And you gotta, I mean, that guy's playing
- 3:57to win and I like it.
- 3:59You know, those are, those are things I
- 4:01admire.
- 4:02You know, I wish I had his brains
- 4:04to at least financial brains.
- 4:07I'm not so sure I want his international
- 4:09brains.
- 4:10And he's not attracting the right people with
- 4:13the right brains in that regard.
- 4:14That's for damn sure.
- 4:16And so in large part, old Orban is
- 4:20a, is a result of the failures of
- 4:25the United States through its biggest person, the
- 4:31King, the, the president, Donald J.
- 4:35Trump.
- 4:36And that's how it works.
- 4:37That's, that's how it is.
- 4:38He, he sent, he sent old Vance over
- 4:40to politic for him, hoping to save him
- 4:43in the last few days of his election.
- 4:46But the globalists who hate Trump also hated
- 4:50Orban.
- 4:51You know, anybody that, anybody that bands together,
- 4:53Xi Jinping, this is, this is a global
- 4:55war people.
- 4:57Now this, I believe, and it's, it's the
- 4:59globalists, your Soros types versus everybody else.
- 5:05And the Soros types are pretty freaking powerful.
- 5:08Okay.
- 5:09They have all the money, they have all
- 5:12the business, they have all the media.
- 5:14And, and, and so the rest of us
- 5:16have to snipe from the sidelines.
- 5:19That's how it works.
- 5:20And they have every apparatus of everything connected
- 5:26to the world.
- 5:28Like UN, IMF had a big here, a
- 5:32big meeting, a conference yesterday, day before, and
- 5:40they're, they're speaking about some of the things
- 5:42that they're planning.
- 5:43And everybody's all excited about the post Orban
- 5:46world.
- 5:47They take it as a big punch in
- 5:49the face to Donald Trump.
- 5:50And by the way, it is, and they
- 5:53are not, they're not slowing down.
- 5:56They are gearing up.
- 5:57They want world war III.
- 5:59That's what they want.
- 6:01They want world war III globally.
- 6:03They want economics to be beat up upon.
- 6:08You ever hear a safe, the, I forget
- 6:11what the S stands for, but it's a,
- 6:13for a, for, for a safe Europe, basically.
- 6:16It's a European group and it's kind of
- 6:19a defense group.
- 6:23It's kind of a alternative to the North
- 6:26Atlantic Treaty Organization is the way I see
- 6:29it.
- 6:30And they, and Canada was invited and that's
- 6:33the only non-European country invited.
- 6:36And it's for, they are by the, by
- 6:402030, 2033 to 2035 time, they want to
- 6:43cut out, they want to cut out the
- 6:48purchase of American weapons because they feel, rightly
- 6:54so, that America controls and holds all the
- 6:58cards.
- 6:58I'm telling you now, Europe, I don't want
- 7:02to say they're against us, but they're certainly
- 7:03not for us.
- 7:05And so when I, and I saw this
- 7:08through the bricks and through all of that
- 7:10anyway, I sort of understood this.
- 7:13Now I've known for a long time, I
- 7:14travel a lot and I've known for a
- 7:16long time, even back in the nineties, people
- 7:18were not very pro-American.
- 7:21They would put on the right show, they
- 7:23would do the right thing, but we were
- 7:25the ugly Americans.
- 7:26You go traveling, you got to be careful
- 7:28not to be one because they think we're
- 7:30foolish.
- 7:31They think we don't pay attention.
- 7:33They think we know nothing about international events.
- 7:36And by the way, they're right.
- 7:38The bulk of the people do not.
- 7:40I speak with some very intelligent people, and
- 7:43I have some really good friends that I
- 7:46spend a lot of time with.
- 7:49And every time I tell them something, I
- 7:52try hard not to talk about it in
- 7:53front of a lot of people, and that's
- 7:55why I do it on my show.
- 7:56But the people, people just aren't interested.
- 8:01They have their own lives.
- 8:02And I'm not saying that's wrong.
- 8:04I'm saying that there are broader packages out
- 8:08there, but allowing the apparatus to act as
- 8:15if it's in your interests or on your
- 8:18behalf is a big mistake, because it sure
- 8:21as hell isn't.
- 8:22They're not doing us any favors.
- 8:25They're the ones who force us to look
- 8:27like the dumb American when we're traveling because
- 8:30nobody knows.
- 8:31We all only go to Mexico.
- 8:33We go to Dominican Republic.
- 8:36We're off to Haiti.
- 8:37We're off to places in the Caribbean.
- 8:39We go to Canada.
- 8:40People don't go all over the planet, and
- 8:43there are some fantastic places, including those in
- 8:47the Middle East and those in the Southeast
- 8:51Asia.
- 8:51They're freaking beautiful, and the people are great,
- 8:54and the areas are great.
- 8:55And we don't get along, and we never
- 8:59get along.
- 9:00And here we are causing these things.
- 9:02But it's already started, this shift away from
- 9:06the American hegemony, which before, now remember this,
- 9:11before the deep state was always kind of
- 9:17centered around the elites of New York and
- 9:20the big business and the military industrial complex
- 9:24people of the U.S. This is where
- 9:27it came from.
- 9:28And the power was the power of the
- 9:30Senate, the power of the UN, the power
- 9:33of the International Monetary Fund, the power of
- 9:35any international, the World Bank, all of it
- 9:40run by the same a-holes, okay?
- 9:43And it's run by, and they kind of,
- 9:45they inbreed.
- 9:48They only stay in their own little groups.
- 9:50Well, post-Trump, now Trump first term, Trump
- 9:53second term.
- 9:53You know, a lot of people think this.
- 9:55I think this.
- 9:56I think that he had a war on
- 9:57the deep state.
- 9:58I suspect, and some people tell me it's
- 10:01far more than a suspicion, and I should
- 10:04be far more, I don't know what, accepting
- 10:08of this, of this concept that the Xi
- 10:12Jinping's of the world, the Vladimir Putin's of
- 10:14the world, the Viktor Orban's, and the Donald
- 10:16Trump's have a plan.
- 10:18And that plan has to be against the
- 10:20deep state.
- 10:20You go up against the deep state, you
- 10:22lose.
- 10:22Look what just happened to Viktor Orban.
- 10:24Look what happened to Trump in his first,
- 10:26in his first term.
- 10:27Look what they've tried to do to Russia,
- 10:29and they're going to move on to Xi
- 10:30Jinping.
- 10:31And I believe Donald Trump right now is
- 10:33suffering from some, so he's in, what's her
- 10:39name, Candace Owens, a couple, Tucker Carlson, a
- 10:41couple other people that have come out with
- 10:44things that there's something somebody's holding over Trump's
- 10:47head to keep him so involved as he
- 10:49is in the Middle East in a foolish
- 10:51war that we're never going to win.
- 10:53And a foolish incursion, a foolish blockade.
- 10:57How the hell are you going to do
- 10:58that?
- 10:58You know, yesterday Xi Jinping said, you better
- 11:01not be blocking, not him, but his deputy,
- 11:04his foreign, foreign minister, one of them.
- 11:07And because it wasn't Jaishankar, it was the
- 11:10military guy.
- 11:11Military guy says, don't blockade our ships.
- 11:14And it was, it was, you should go
- 11:16out and check it out on YouTube, but
- 11:18they're starting to talk.
- 11:19And if we're going to end up in,
- 11:20in a confrontation with China, as well as
- 11:23all the bull crap that's going on right
- 11:26now, perhaps we shouldn't be there.
- 11:28But if you want proof of what I'm
- 11:31telling you, look at this.
- 11:33The right, I mean, here we are.
- 11:36It's only Tuesday.
- 11:38Victor Orban lost on Sunday.
- 11:40And what has Victor Orban been doing?
- 11:42He has been vetoing and blocking $90 billion
- 11:47from going to Ukraine for war because his
- 11:50country cannot get fuel from Russia because it
- 11:54all comes through Ukraine.
- 11:56And so now he's had to get it
- 11:57to come through the Turk stream, through the
- 12:00Greek one, which I forget the name of,
- 12:03that, that it comes up there.
- 12:04And I want to say Svoboda or something,
- 12:07but I don't remember.
- 12:08And Druzhba, Druzhba pipeline.
- 12:10I believe is what that one is that
- 12:12it comes up through, through Greece into places
- 12:14like Serbia and into places like, what do
- 12:18you call it?
- 12:20Hungary.
- 12:21And so there they are.
- 12:22And that's how they get their fuel and
- 12:24nobody gets it.
- 12:24So yesterday after the, the, the new guy
- 12:27Magyar won that he said, now he has
- 12:33plans.
- 12:33He's going to meet with first, he's going
- 12:35to meet with Poland, the Polish Donald Tusk.
- 12:39He's going to meet with him.
- 12:40Then he's going to meet, I believe with
- 12:41the German one.
- 12:42Then he's off to Brussels to kiss the
- 12:44rear end of Ursula von der Leyen, because
- 12:48that's where Viktor Orban always ran into trouble.
- 12:52And this is where they held over his
- 12:54head and did not give Orban.
- 12:56This is one of the biggest things that
- 12:58all the people in Hungary were pissed off
- 13:01about was that Orban couldn't get the European
- 13:04funds.
- 13:05European funds were denied to Hungary because Orban
- 13:08wouldn't agree to give 90 billion loan, allegedly
- 13:12to Ukraine to be paid for what they
- 13:15try to steal it.
- 13:16You know, he was also one of the
- 13:17big voices to say, you can't steal 300
- 13:20billion of Russian assets from a Belgian bank
- 13:22because you'll destroy the internal banking systems of
- 13:25the planet.
- 13:26You can't do it.
- 13:27And many people have a politic against that,
- 13:30including Orban.
- 13:32And so now that he's gone, guess what?
- 13:35The first thing that has happened besides the
- 13:37new guy, Magyar, making these trips, he says
- 13:39that after his trip to Brussels, he's going
- 13:41to go to visit Putin, that he wants
- 13:45to restore fuel from Putin and he wants
- 13:49to negotiate with him.
- 13:50Now he's going to have to kiss the
- 13:51ass of the EU von der Leyen's of
- 13:54the world anyway, but he's going to say,
- 13:58I imagine he's going to say something like,
- 14:01look, we quit screwing around with you.
- 14:03We let you screw around while you want
- 14:05in Ukraine.
- 14:06You quit messing with us and you make
- 14:09Ukraine give us fuel through Russia, you know,
- 14:11Russia through Ukraine or even through the Druzhba
- 14:132 pipeline or somewhere.
- 14:15We need this is nonsense because everybody's buying
- 14:19liquid natural gas from America, double the price.
- 14:23This is a big deal.
- 14:24And so this is really what's going on
- 14:27in the background.
- 14:29All you see is all Orban's gone and
- 14:31he was a piece of crap anyway, in
- 14:3316 years, dictator, blah, blah, blah, all the
- 14:36crap that you get from the globalist people.
- 14:39Right.
- 14:40So now the globalist, the eternal globalist, one
- 14:42of the biggest of them all, Ursula von
- 14:46der Leyen says yesterday von der Leyen is
- 14:49pushing for the abolition of veto power in
- 14:53the EU now that she has the this.
- 14:56This is how killers act.
- 14:57OK, this is how kill it.
- 14:59This is killer instinct.
- 15:00And so this woman is dangerous.
- 15:02OK, she is.
- 15:03And so she attacks out of instantly even
- 15:07before the meeting with Magyar when he comes
- 15:09over because she's going to say, well, I
- 15:11want I'm going to want your support in
- 15:12this.
- 15:13So get this.
- 15:14Majority should dictate.
- 15:16Majority should dictate the bloc's common foreign policy,
- 15:20she says.
- 15:21The majority should dictate, meaning Orban can't have
- 15:24a relationship with Russia if Ursula von der
- 15:28Leyen says so.
- 15:29And these people are not bright, but they're
- 15:32dangerous and they are devious.
- 15:35They are devious.
- 15:36The time has come for the EU to
- 15:38remove individual member states veto power on the
- 15:42bloc's foreign policy decisions.
- 15:45European Commissioner von der Leyen insists she issued
- 15:48a call less than 24 hours after her
- 15:51longtime opponent, Hungarian Prime Minister, well, former Viktor
- 15:56Orban, lost power in a general election due
- 15:59to the pro-Titsa party by Peter Magyar.
- 16:02Orban is a staunch critic of Brussels, as
- 16:05he should have been, used the unanimity requirement
- 16:08to stall EU policies during his time in
- 16:11office.
- 16:12In recent months, Budapest has been vetoing the
- 16:15bloc's 90 billion euro, 105 billion dollars emergency
- 16:20loan for Ukraine.
- 16:22This is going to extend the Ukraine war
- 16:24another two years.
- 16:25OK, and when he gets that money, citing
- 16:27Kiev's reluctance to resume supply of Russian oil
- 16:29to Hungary via Druze pipeline, von der Leyen
- 16:32insisted on Monday that moving to qualified majority
- 16:36voting in foreign policy is an important way
- 16:39to avoid systemic blockages, as we have seen
- 16:43in the past.
- 16:44In other words, dictator.
- 16:46I'm king of Europe.
- 16:47So we got a king in America.
- 16:49Now we're going to have a king in
- 16:51Europe.
- 16:51And by the way, they're unelected.
- 16:53These are just people dictating what European countries
- 16:57are going to do.
- 16:58And they're not even elected.
- 17:00I mean, these the the European Commission has
- 17:02long been trying to force through a series
- 17:04of fundamental changes the EU rules in order
- 17:08to create a two tier block in which
- 17:10Ukraine would be integrated into the EU, despite
- 17:13not meeting requirements for member states.
- 17:16The EU should use the momentum now, she
- 17:19says, from the defeat of Orban, who opposed
- 17:21EU accession for Kiev to make changes to
- 17:24its regulations and put an end to the
- 17:25veto rule in international relations.
- 17:29It's coming people von der Leyen welcome to
- 17:31Magyar's victory, saying that Brussels will engage in
- 17:34his government from day one.
- 17:37There's much work to be done as Hungary
- 17:39returns to the European path.
- 17:43You can almost cry.
- 17:44I mean, isn't that beautiful?
- 17:47Returning to the European path.
- 17:49They're a bunch of nuts.
- 17:52They're all crazy.
- 17:54You get Ursula von der Leyen, who thinks
- 17:57she's the queen of the world.
- 17:58Donald Trump on the other side.
- 17:59Those two should be together.
- 18:01They should have a what do you call
- 18:03it?
- 18:03A family arranged wedding and, you know, push
- 18:06their own spouses off to the side.
- 18:08They don't matter anyway.
- 18:09Right.
- 18:09And so we push them off.
- 18:11We make a king of the world and
- 18:13we have a globalist pattern.
- 18:14But Trump, he won't work for that next
- 18:16president, maybe.
- 18:17But not this one.
- 18:19This one won't work.
- 18:20According to von der Leyen, the mindset of
- 18:22the commission on Magyar is let's double down
- 18:26on him.
- 18:27If he delivers, we deliver.
- 18:29Brussels is currently withholding 35 billion in EU
- 18:32funds for Hungary over a disagreement with Orban
- 18:34on Ukraine, on migration through Hungary.
- 18:38They want to stop that LGBTQ rights and
- 18:42other issues.
- 18:43And trust me, if you saw the videos
- 18:45now, all you see is videos and a
- 18:47lot of this is AI generated and a
- 18:48lot of it is is very selective, just
- 18:51like we do in here.
- 18:52But all the kids are screaming and, oh,
- 18:54yeah, it's great.
- 18:55You know, oh, we got rid of that.
- 18:57That old man.
- 18:59And that's it.
- 19:00All they care about is the old ways
- 19:02have to go and we got to be
- 19:03integrated into Europe, period.
- 19:05That's it.
- 19:06And if war happens, well, you know, but
- 19:08it's really weird because the only thing they
- 19:11absolutely buy into from the old folks that
- 19:15that have created this stuff for them is
- 19:18you're supposed to hate Russia.
- 19:19That's it.
- 19:21Hate Russia.
- 19:22You know, as long as we hate Russia,
- 19:24everything else can be worked out and we
- 19:28can double down on Magyar.
- 19:30If he delivers, we will deliver.
- 19:32And there's much work to be done as
- 19:35Hungary returns to the European path, meaning there
- 19:40is no sovereignty.
- 19:41OK, that's like in the United States.
- 19:43Now, ours is a little bit different.
- 19:45We all have a common background, common theme.
- 19:47We have 50 states.
- 19:49There's whatever it is, 1920 members of the
- 19:51EU.
- 19:52Don't remember specifically, but there it is.
- 19:55It's those countries are now going to have
- 19:59no choice in their foreign policy.
- 20:02None.
- 20:03What are they?
- 20:03I mean, if you start wanting to do
- 20:05business with somebody, you're going to have to
- 20:06run everything through the EU, all of it.
- 20:10No independent countries anymore.
- 20:12And I think and the more that the
- 20:15globalists do this, the harder it's going to
- 20:18be for individual countries to pull out.
- 20:21It's going to be nearly impossible.
- 20:23OK, EU diplomats told the Financial Times that
- 20:28the bloc expects Magyar to unblock the 90
- 20:31billion loan to Kiev and reverse some of
- 20:34his predecessor's key policies in order to mend
- 20:36ties between Budapest and Brussels.
- 20:39The Tisa Party leader said Monday he isn't
- 20:41intending to veto funds for Kiev, but he
- 20:44added the Budapest will not participate in the
- 20:47EU loan due to financial difficulties.
- 20:50Could there be a negotiation point for him?
- 20:55He also criticized the idea of accelerated Ukraine
- 20:58accession to the EU while insisting on continued
- 21:02energy cooperation with Russia.
- 21:06Hmm.
- 21:07Wonder if this dispute will continue.
- 21:09Hungary will procure.
- 21:12Here's his quote, will procure crude oil and
- 21:15gas in the cheapest and safest way possible.
- 21:20Moscow said it is open to building friendly
- 21:22and mutual, mutually beneficial relations with the new
- 21:26authorities in Budapest.
- 21:30Hmm.
- 21:31Very interesting.
- 21:33And Moscow, for its part, says they want
- 21:36to maintain pragmatic relations with Hungary after Magyar's
- 21:41Tisa Party defeated Orban.
- 21:44Magyar center right position.
- 21:46So he's still on the right, center right.
- 21:50Tisa Party scored 53 percent of the vote,
- 21:54gives it a qualified majority.
- 21:56You need 60 percent, I believe it is,
- 21:58to be a majority.
- 22:01Orban, who conceded defeat, charted an independent course,
- 22:04ruffled more than a few feathers in Brussels.
- 22:06During his time in office, he consistently opposed
- 22:09EU sanctions against Russia, military aid to Ukraine,
- 22:13vetoed the bloc's planned 90 billion euro loan
- 22:16package.
- 22:17His government advocated pragmatic relations with Moscow, especially
- 22:21in terms of energy supply.
- 22:22Everyone else in the entirety of Europe just
- 22:24about is nuts.
- 22:27You can't talk to them.
- 22:30Why would you talk to them?
- 22:32Oh, man.
- 22:33It's like a Friday night.
- 22:35You know, you go to the you go
- 22:36to the wrong high school group and you
- 22:40and you don't you talk to the wrong
- 22:43person on Monday.
- 22:44You're in bad shape.
- 22:45You talk to him.
- 22:48Not good.
- 22:49That's that's that's the drama, the high school
- 22:54drama of Europe.
- 22:55It's all over.
- 22:56Only they do it in different languages.
- 22:58You know, that's pretty cool.
- 23:00While no contact is planned between Vladimir Putin
- 23:03and Magyar at the present, Kremlin hopes to
- 23:06establish dialogue with the new Hungarian minister, according
- 23:10to Pescar.
- 23:12I'm sorry, not Peskov.
- 23:16And that's he pointed out that Moscow and
- 23:19Budapest have a number of joint products that
- 23:22need to be finalized.
- 23:23We are open to dialogue with Magyar.
- 23:26We are open to building friendly and mutually
- 23:28beneficial relations, he said.
- 23:32So there you have it.
- 23:34So the Donbass, there's only a few kilometers
- 23:36left to to free the Donbass.
- 23:40And I'm very curious what happens at that
- 23:42time, if Russia will continue or not.
- 23:48I don't know.
- 23:49Russian forces are still advancing and they are
- 23:52near the border of the People's Republic.
- 23:55So Russian forces have only a few kilometers
- 23:59left to go before the Donbass is liberated.
- 24:03Now, they got Lugansk has been pretty much
- 24:08100 percent for quite a few months.
- 24:10They have only a few kilometers left.
- 24:13Speaking to journalist Pavel Pavel Zarubin, Peskov was
- 24:17asked to comment on the recent statement by
- 24:20J.D. Vance, who said that the Ukraine
- 24:22conflict has fundamentally stopped making sense.
- 24:26Well, it never made sense, I would clarify,
- 24:29and that the sides are haggling at this
- 24:31point over a few square kilometers of territory.
- 24:35Peskov confirmed that the territorial issue is now
- 24:38down to just a few kilometers.
- 24:40Roughly speaking, he stated that Russia needs to
- 24:43liberate around 18 percent of the Donetsk People's
- 24:47Republic in order to reach the region's borders.
- 24:51Once the army reaches the borders of Russia,
- 24:54new regions, he said, a complex, painstaking and
- 24:58not fast negotiation process will begin in which
- 25:02the details of a settlement with Ukraine still
- 25:05have to be determined.
- 25:06Peskov's remarks came after the Russia Foreign Ministry
- 25:10announced on Friday that it established control over
- 25:13the village of Dubrova in the DPR, Donetsk
- 25:19People's Republic, and the village of Miropolskaya in
- 25:23Sumy.
- 25:24Moscow calls on Kiev to withdraw from all
- 25:27Russian territories peacefully, stressing that it will liberate
- 25:30the Donbass, which voted to join Russia in
- 25:3322, one way or the other.
- 25:35And now they're nearly there.
- 25:37Early this month, Ukrainian leader Zelensky claimed that
- 25:40Moscow issued a two-month deadline for Ukrainian
- 25:42troops to retreat.
- 25:44The Kremlin rejected that claim and said that
- 25:46Zelensky should have issued a withdrawal order long
- 25:49ago, which would have saved the lives of
- 25:51thousands of people and stopped the hot phase
- 25:54of this war.
- 25:55Trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the U
- 25:58.S. have been on hold due to the
- 26:00Iran war, with Peskov describing the pause as
- 26:04situational.
- 26:05Zelensky rejects any territorial concession, calls a withdrawal
- 26:09from Donbass a threat to European security.
- 26:15Hmm, curious.
- 26:17You know why?
- 26:18It's because they won't be able to get
- 26:20to the Azov Sea anymore.
- 26:22Well, they can't.
- 26:23They already can't.
- 26:24Crimea blocked that off, and then Donbass area,
- 26:32Donetsk and Lugansk blocked off the rest.
- 26:34And so now they're stuck with the Dnepr
- 26:37River.
- 26:37And if they're not careful, they're going to
- 26:39lose all the way to the Dnepr River.
- 26:41And the Dnepr River winds through Kyiv, okay?
- 26:45But on the southern part of it, it
- 26:47heads off to the east and then it
- 26:49goes down.
- 26:50And so I think they're going to lose
- 26:51all the way to the Dnepr is what
- 26:53I think.
- 26:54But who knows?
- 26:56I said that before.
- 26:59Russian gymnasts have won four medals at the
- 27:02World Cup, okay?
- 27:04Now, this fits in with what I've been
- 27:05saying all along, that eliminating one country or
- 27:12making them, a lot of them won't or
- 27:15wouldn't participate under someone else's country flag.
- 27:20I mean, imagine you're an American athlete and
- 27:22they go, eh, we don't like America because
- 27:25there are not enough gays, too many gays,
- 27:28whatever, that they don't allow.
- 27:31We're not going to allow you to participate
- 27:33in those things.
- 27:34But wait a minute.
- 27:35We have some of the best gymnasts in
- 27:36the world.
- 27:37We always win.
- 27:38We place high.
- 27:40Well, that's okay.
- 27:42But what if you're doing it just to
- 27:43make a space for some lesser gymnast?
- 27:47That's what has always been my trouble.
- 27:50You get rid of some of these bigger
- 27:51states and you don't let them participate.
- 27:53How in the hell can you be a
- 27:54world champion if the world can't participate?
- 27:58Nonsense.
- 27:59Maria Borisova topped reigning Olympic champion Daria Varfolomeyeva.
- 28:06It's Bartholomew, basically.
- 28:09Varfolomeyeva in the all-around in her first
- 28:11outing at the event.
- 28:13Russian rhythmic gymnast competed under a neutral flag
- 28:18and have won four medals at the World
- 28:21Cup in Tashkent.
- 28:23Maria Borisova led with gold in the individual
- 28:26all-around, topping German, Russian-born, though, Olympic
- 28:32champion Daria Varfolomeyeva and silver in the hoop,
- 28:36the team's first World Cup outing.
- 28:39Finals were held on Sunday as part of
- 28:41the second stage of the World Cup for
- 28:44FIG, Federation of International Gymnasts, or something like
- 28:49that.
- 28:49All seven Russian competitors train at the Sky
- 28:54Grace Rhythmic Gymnastic Academy, founded in Sochi in
- 28:582022 by 2004 Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva, and
- 29:06all were making their World Cup debut.
- 29:09Coached by Irina Gasurova, the 18-year-old
- 29:13Borisova finished ahead of Varfolomeyeva and Uzbekistan's Tahmina
- 29:17Ikromova in the all-around and then got
- 29:22silver in the hoop behind Ikromova.
- 29:25Pretty cool stuff if you watch it.
- 29:27It's that rhythmic dance of sorts.
- 29:30It's pretty cool.
- 29:31Um, let's see.
- 29:33I think this is interesting and important as
- 29:37well.
- 29:39So the Iran war goes on.
- 29:42We destroy people.
- 29:44Hang on.
- 29:45Let's see here.
- 29:46You know what I'm going to do?
- 29:47I am going to uh, beguile you as
- 29:52it were with some, uh, some, uh, Andre
- 29:59Bryansev.
- 30:04That's what I'm gonna do.
- 30:05And then I'm gonna take a short break
- 30:08and we're going to see, uh, YouTube.
- 30:16Irina Krug is also there with, uh, another
- 30:21one of my favorite songs, right?
- 30:24We're gonna, we're gonna play this for you
- 30:26just cause I like it.
- 30:28And, uh, let's see here.
- 30:31Let's see if we can see, cause I'm
- 30:34going to take a little bit of break.
- 30:36I gotta, I gotta, uh, do some coffee
- 30:40and we shall see what happens when I
- 30:43do.
- 30:44Isn't that right?
- 30:45So I'm going to go get some coffee
- 30:49and we're going to listen to Irina Krug
- 30:52and Andre Bryansev is what we're going to
- 30:57do.
- 30:58Okay.
- 30:58Sorry.
- 30:59It took me so long.
- 31:00I didn't, I knew I was going to
- 31:01do it, but I hadn't pulled up the
- 31:03song and I'm going to do it cause
- 31:04I gotta go.
- 31:05Uh, I gotta get my coffee.
- 31:07I need something to drink.
- 31:08So there you have it.
- 31:09End of the line.
- 31:11Here is Irina Krug and Andre Bryansev.
- 31:13Ready?
- 34:43I like that song and I hope you
- 34:45do too, but there you have it.
- 34:46Um, it's a, it's a pretty cool song
- 34:48actually.
- 34:49Um, good stuff Maynard, good beat, all that
- 34:52stuff.
- 34:52Um, so a gunman attacked a, um, school
- 34:57in, uh, Turkey, which is not good.
- 35:01Um, two U S congressmen are resigning over
- 35:06sex scandals.
- 35:08You know, I saw it again today.
- 35:10The, uh, the Trump, I'm Jesus post it
- 35:15popped up again.
- 35:16And I just can't tell you how ridiculous
- 35:18that, what the hell is the guy thinking?
- 35:21I mean, seriously, what is he thinking?
- 35:24I just saw something also that a Chinese
- 35:27tanker, remember I brought to you yesterday when
- 35:29the Chinese guy, actually, I don't think I
- 35:30did.
- 35:31Uh, but yesterday one of the, uh, military,
- 35:33uh, leaders of China said, do not interfere
- 35:37with our tankers, uh, coming out of the
- 35:40Straits of Hormuz.
- 35:41We have lots of business in that area
- 35:43and don't screw with us and S and
- 35:46sent a direct message and said, don't do
- 35:48it.
- 35:49And just now we see that, um, that
- 35:52a Chinese vessel, um, under sanctioned, you know,
- 35:56Iran crossed the Straits of Hormuz wonder what's
- 36:02going to happen.
- 36:03You know, uh, so far it's been watch,
- 36:07watch, watch the Russians.
- 36:09Haven't dicked around too much with, uh, uh,
- 36:12the American people, although Britain, you know, um,
- 36:16there was reports last week that they were
- 36:18going to stop on in the last minute
- 36:19old, uh, uh, damn it.
- 36:23Now I forget his name, prime minister, whatever
- 36:27his name is.
- 36:27Doesn't matter.
- 36:28He's he's, he's, he's not, he, unfortunately he's
- 36:30sort of irrelevant cause he pushed out.
- 36:32He didn't do it.
- 36:34Nah, let him go.
- 36:36He talked about, you can't go up here.
- 36:38You can't go there, but, uh, we can't
- 36:40block them.
- 36:40I think now that big brother might be
- 36:42out of the picture.
- 36:43They're not willing to act as such.
- 36:46You know, they don't want to be a
- 36:47direct threat to, uh, uh, Russia because without
- 36:52America backing you, well, who knows what it's
- 36:55going to be old, uh, old, uh, Vance
- 36:59is on his way back to Islamabad, uh,
- 37:02to, uh, do some dealings.
- 37:06It'll be interesting to see what they do.
- 37:10Um, I wanted to share with you a
- 37:12little bit more about, because this definitely interests
- 37:16me, um, about Orban and what remains for
- 37:20old Hungary now and why it's important.
- 37:23But, you know, one of the big sticking
- 37:28points in the Iran, Iranian discussions, and here
- 37:33they're all trying to twist it and say,
- 37:35Iran wants a nuclear weapon.
- 37:37You know, we need something else.
- 37:40You know, we're not, we're not gonna not
- 37:44seek weapons there.
- 37:47Maybe that's positioning.
- 37:48You know, if Trump said it, everybody go,
- 37:50Oh, it's just positioning.
- 37:51Maybe it's just positioning because what they really
- 37:54want is relief from the sanctions.
- 37:55Maybe what they really want is to be
- 37:57left alone and quit being targeted.
- 38:00They want all their allies to be left
- 38:01alone.
- 38:02And I'm not saying they're right, wrong and
- 38:04different.
- 38:04I'm saying what it is.
- 38:06You can have your own deep seated feelings
- 38:07about whether the Bible dictates that, uh, Israel
- 38:11should be able to kill anybody they want
- 38:13because they were in bondage in Egypt 3
- 38:15,000 years ago.
- 38:16If you want to believe that, that, that,
- 38:19that applies right now today.
- 38:20Fine.
- 38:21I don't believe that way, but, but, uh,
- 38:24you know, I don't believe that they get
- 38:26a slaughter other, uh, people, tribes of Israel,
- 38:31get a slaughter them all or, uh, the
- 38:35tribes of, uh, uh, the, the, the children
- 38:37of Abraham.
- 38:38Right.
- 38:39And, uh, the, the, so all the children
- 38:41of Abraham, 12 tribes, right?
- 38:43There's 12 tribes.
- 38:44They all went different ways.
- 38:45One of them's Israel.
- 38:46The other 11 is everybody else.
- 38:50It's the way I look at it.
- 38:52It's the way I learned it.
- 38:53Right.
- 38:53And it's okay because the Egyptians put, uh,
- 38:58put, uh, Israel in bondage 3,000 years
- 39:01ago and took their land.
- 39:03Therefore that's their homeland.
- 39:04They get a, they get to go back
- 39:06and they get to expand it.
- 39:07And if they don't like it, they can
- 39:08just slaughter all the other 11, 11, uh,
- 39:12uh, tribe leaders descendants.
- 39:14It's, you know, geez, Torah, Bible, everything we're,
- 39:18we're permitted.
- 39:19Meanwhile, Mohammed and company are saying, Nope, that's
- 39:22not how it works.
- 39:23You know?
- 39:25And, and, you know, the Quran doesn't say
- 39:27that.
- 39:27And so therefore it doesn't, and this is
- 39:29so, and for us, what in the hell
- 39:31do we care?
- 39:32You know, what do we care?
- 39:33Seriously?
- 39:33If they want to go fight a battle
- 39:35from 3000 years ago, let them period the
- 39:38end, stop interfering, stop supplying them.
- 39:42Stop, stop.
- 39:45How do we want to stop being the
- 39:46big brother, but it's really, uh, the big
- 39:48dumb brother who just does anything that they
- 39:51want, you know, in, in Israel.
- 39:53And I'm sorry, I shouldn't talk like that,
- 39:55but I believe that way.
- 39:56I think this is foolish.
- 39:57And I believe that Iran is pushing to
- 40:00get some look, killing Hezbollah.
- 40:04If that's who you're really after doesn't mean
- 40:07seizing all of Lebanon because Hezbollah is in
- 40:12charge.
- 40:12Okay.
- 40:13That'd be like coming to America and saying,
- 40:15you know, we need to eradicate all, uh,
- 40:19libertarians, the whole libertarian party.
- 40:21We need to get rid of them.
- 40:22And so therefore we're going to take over
- 40:24America because we hate those libertarians.
- 40:26You know, we hate, we hate, um, Ozark
- 40:29people.
- 40:29We hate people live in Ozark and all
- 40:31the, you know, you, you know, you can't
- 40:32have Ozarkers anywhere else in the world.
- 40:34And those Ozarkers are supplied with their own
- 40:36guns hidden under their beds.
- 40:38Therefore we need to destroy America.
- 40:40This is a foolish argument, no matter how
- 40:43you slice it.
- 40:44And, uh, it's, it's long past time that
- 40:49people get over these.
- 40:50Why is it okay then to honor history
- 40:54so far back 3,000 years and you
- 40:57can't, and you can't honor the history of
- 41:00Russia.
- 41:01Why not give Russia Kiev then?
- 41:04Why not give, it was taken away from
- 41:06them.
- 41:06Well, you know, why not give Russia back
- 41:09if you want to go that way?
- 41:11You know, Russia, Russia was in charge of
- 41:13a lot of things for a while.
- 41:15Why don't the Indians get to take back
- 41:17America?
- 41:18Why isn't that if that's the case, where's
- 41:20their homeland?
- 41:21You know, we get to put it and
- 41:22they can expand it.
- 41:23You know, we don't like those Texans.
- 41:25We have a, we have a, uh, Indian
- 41:27reservation and right outside are all these damn
- 41:29Texans.
- 41:30We're going to probably a better example would
- 41:32be, uh, Oklahoma or, or, or places like,
- 41:36uh, wherever the, uh, you know, the Cherokee
- 41:38were wandering through Kentucky and places like that.
- 41:41And they just kept getting pushed further and
- 41:43further West.
- 41:44Anyway, that that's, that's all a philosophical sort
- 41:48of commentary on what this is.
- 41:50And so, um, that battle in the Iranians
- 41:54demanding reparations from Arabic States, Iranians want them.
- 41:59Okay.
- 42:00They want reparations as part of the end
- 42:02of this, uh, as part of the, uh,
- 42:07ceasefire, the settlement, whatever you want to call.
- 42:10Oh, they're showing on the TV.
- 42:12Trump went scorched earth on Carlson Kelly, Candace
- 42:15Owens, Alex Jones on his, uh, that was
- 42:18ridiculous.
- 42:19What he was doing.
- 42:21I assume the Jr shared that with you.
- 42:24I didn't hear it.
- 42:25Um, if he did, but that was nuts.
- 42:30He, he, here he is back in Lindsey
- 42:33Graham and destroy and Tucker Carlson are trying
- 42:35to, I can't take it.
- 42:39Um, so it's, it's, uh, nonsensical.
- 42:42The world is full of crap today.
- 42:44Um, and so you just got all kinds
- 42:47of craziness going on, but I ran, we're
- 42:49going to, we're going to share this with
- 42:51you on what they are demanding in the
- 42:52state of this.
- 42:53Tehran says that Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the
- 42:56UAE and Jordan are complicit in the unlawful
- 43:00us and Israeli tax.
- 43:01Iran demands that five Arab States hosting us
- 43:05basis pay reparations for American and Israeli airstrikes
- 43:11carried out on the territory of Iran in
- 43:14a letter to the UN secretary general, Antonio
- 43:16Gutierrez on Monday.
- 43:17Oh yeah, this will work.
- 43:19UN is UN is going to do something.
- 43:21No, they're not Iranian envoy.
- 43:24Amir Said Irvani argued that Saudi Arabia, Bahrain,
- 43:29Qatar, UAE, and Jordan had allowed the us
- 43:31to use their territory to attack Iran.
- 43:33And in some cases were directly involved in
- 43:35unlawful armed attacks against civilian objects.
- 43:38Irvani added that Arabic States should make full
- 43:41reparation to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including
- 43:45compensation for material and moral damages sustained in
- 43:49as a result of their internationally wrongful acts.
- 43:52Nothing will ever happen.
- 43:54The Gulf States previously demanded that Iran be
- 43:58held liable for war damage and claimed a
- 44:01claim.
- 44:01Irvani rejects as legally untenable, fundamentally divorced from
- 44:05factual and legal reality.
- 44:07The US and Iran launched strikes and on
- 44:10our US and Israel launched strikes on Iran.
- 44:13February 28 said that the goal was to
- 44:15dismantle Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
- 44:19Now they've added in the ballistic missile part.
- 44:21Initially it was a nuclear.
- 44:24They have tons of ballistic missiles.
- 44:25You're not going to eliminate that.
- 44:27And why, why can't they have them?
- 44:29Israel.
- 44:29So Israel needs to be the only one
- 44:31to have them.
- 44:32Is that we're saying that us bases need
- 44:34to have them, but nobody should be able
- 44:36to defend themselves.
- 44:38You're not a country.
- 44:39You're not a country.
- 44:41We sanctioned you.
- 44:42That's it.
- 44:43The attacks killed on the 28th, dozens of
- 44:46senior officials, including Iran's longtime Supreme leader, Ali
- 44:50Khamenei, as well as more than 1300 civilians.
- 44:54In addition to military sites, the US and
- 44:56Israel target energy structure, infrastructure, bridges, universities, and
- 45:00schools.
- 45:01Iran responded by striking us bases in the
- 45:04region and civilian infrastructure in Gulf States, including
- 45:07oil and gas facilities, airports, and seaports.
- 45:11Tehran said the strikes were an exercise of
- 45:13its right to self-defense.
- 45:16Now what's wrong with that statement?
- 45:19Seriously, take, take away the blame that you
- 45:24get to say, you can't have nuclear weapons.
- 45:26You can't have ballistic missiles.
- 45:27And we said, so UN didn't tell them
- 45:30they couldn't have any.
- 45:31Did they?
- 45:33Hmm.
- 45:35Hmm.
- 45:37Well, I told you a little bit yesterday,
- 45:39um, about, uh, the, uh, 65 year anniversary
- 45:47of the first space flight, um, in, uh,
- 45:52happened with Yuri Gagarin in Russia.
- 45:54I have a bunch of, uh, Soviet stamps
- 45:56with Yuri Gagarin.
- 45:57When I went over there, uh, one of
- 45:59my first times over there, I was on
- 46:01the Arbatskaya Ulitsa in, uh, Arbat is what
- 46:05they call it.
- 46:06And it's a cool shop place.
- 46:09I went back there this past summer when
- 46:11I was there and it's changed quite a
- 46:12bit dramatically, in fact.
- 46:15And, uh, it, but it's still the same
- 46:17thing.
- 46:18You have all these, uh, independent artists and,
- 46:21uh, artisans selling their craft and selling all
- 46:24their stuff.
- 46:24So there's some really cool stuff in there
- 46:26and you can find, you know, world war
- 46:28II things, all of these other things that
- 46:30are there.
- 46:31And it's really cool.
- 46:33I bought an entire book of stamps of
- 46:36Soviet stamps and these, uh, stamps, some of
- 46:45them were Yuri Gagarin, the first, the first
- 46:47flight of Soviet, uh, Soviet era stamps.
- 46:50And I had quite a bit of one,
- 46:51if they're worth anything these days, who the
- 46:53hell knows?
- 46:54But, uh, I still got them.
- 46:55I got an entire book of them.
- 46:57And, uh, that was a pretty cool deal.
- 47:01Let's see to have those, but the 65th
- 47:04anniversary of the first space flight, um, was
- 47:11actually a Russian event.
- 47:14So long before Gagarin's historic flight generations of
- 47:18explorers, philosophers, and engineers prepared Russia for its
- 47:23leap into space conquest of frontiers, you know,
- 47:29and they go through, there's a whole article
- 47:30of some of the things like, uh, Tsar
- 47:33Ivan the fourth, who was preoccupied with Livonian
- 47:37war when they took over the Siberian, you
- 47:40know, he sent people, uh, off into Siberia
- 47:43and expanded their lands all the way through
- 47:46into, into Alaska.
- 47:47And I covered that, some of that with
- 47:49you when I talked a few, a couple
- 47:52of months ago, I guess about the, um,
- 47:54the sale of the Alaskan territories.
- 47:56This was, that was around the time that
- 47:58Trump and Putin met in Alaska.
- 48:01I told you about that and some of
- 48:03the things that came of it, creating a
- 48:05bridge between Russia and Kamchatka and the Bering
- 48:10Strait, you know, which would be really cool.
- 48:13Um, imagine if you could, if you could
- 48:15drive it, you know, they ever been technology
- 48:17exists.
- 48:18We went through all that stuff there.
- 48:19I did a whole story on it.
- 48:21And, uh, so, um, did I relate to
- 48:26you?
- 48:26I believe I did a little bit, but
- 48:29they're having very serious difficulties.
- 48:32Yes, I did.
- 48:33I outlined that to you yesterday on the,
- 48:36uh, problems in Bangladesh with, uh, fuel shortages
- 48:41and Trump isn't helping us.
- 48:42The world is, uh, the world is, uh,
- 48:45having serious issues, um, and fuel prices are
- 48:50going up.
- 48:52Uh, like I said, I wanted to go
- 48:54right back to, uh, Orban, maybe finish off
- 48:58the show with some, some Orban defeat issues,
- 49:02but maybe not.
- 49:04There could be some news at the end,
- 49:05but, uh, um, you know, this is a,
- 49:08uh, not all that long of an article
- 49:12that I want to provide to you.
- 49:13And this one was, uh, I often share
- 49:16with you, uh, the writings of a guy
- 49:18named Fyodor Lukyanov, who's a editor in chief
- 49:22of global affairs and chairman of the Presidium
- 49:26on the Council of Foreign and Defense Policy.
- 49:29And he's a research director at the Valdai
- 49:31International Discussion Club.
- 49:33Boy, I'd love to be a member of
- 49:35that club.
- 49:35I might have to go do that.
- 49:38Uh, you know what though?
- 49:40No, we'll do that later.
- 49:42The defeat of Viktor Orban and his Fidesz
- 49:44party in Hungary parliamentary elections should not be
- 49:47seen as a shock.
- 49:49Opinion polls long pointed in that direction, nor
- 49:53should the outcome be divorced from a simple
- 49:55political reality.
- 49:5716 years in power, 20 in total is
- 50:01an exceptionally long tenure by the standards of
- 50:04central and Eastern Europe.
- 50:06Fatigue with familiar faces is inevitable and psychologically
- 50:10understandable.
- 50:12Yet the result contains a paradox.
- 50:17Orban's defeat appears in some ways to confirm
- 50:20the very trend that has, that he has
- 50:22come to embody.
- 50:24The primacy of the national agenda, my country
- 50:27first.
- 50:28In recent years, particularly since the escalation of
- 50:32the Ukraine conflict, Hungary's sovereign approach has become
- 50:36deeply entangled with external issues.
- 50:39Opposition to the European commission's line on Ukraine,
- 50:43justified in Budapest as a defense of Hungary,
- 50:46led to sustained confrontation with both Brussels and
- 50:50Kiev.
- 50:51What began as a domestic political stance increasingly
- 50:55played out on the international stage.
- 50:58So this dynamic shaped his election, Orban's election
- 51:02campaign.
- 51:03Orban leaned heavily on external things, portrayed Ukraine
- 51:07and its leadership, especially Zelensky, as antagonists, which
- 51:12they are, but his opponent took the opposite
- 51:15approach.
- 51:17They focus on domestic concerns, living standards, the
- 51:20promise of restoring smooth relations with the EU
- 51:24as a pathway to improving everyday life.
- 51:28Meaning, if we kiss their rear ends, we're
- 51:31really going to be better off individually, which
- 51:34is true.
- 51:35But you also lose any sovereignty of all
- 51:38kinds, I say.
- 51:40Continuing with the article of Lukianov, whether that
- 51:46promise proves justified is another manner.
- 51:50I think it does not.
- 51:51I think it's a bigger problem for them.
- 51:54But it resonated with the voters.
- 51:56The message was entirely consistent with the logic
- 51:59of sovereignty, only turned inward rather than outward.
- 52:03It's also notable what didn't matter.
- 52:06Now, and by the way, I wanted to
- 52:07stop right here.
- 52:08When I was reading this earlier, I got
- 52:10to thinking, you know, America has, we're a
- 52:15republic, right?
- 52:16And there are states, and each of the
- 52:19states has its own internal issues and problems.
- 52:24And on the national level, we have the
- 52:29jokers who are running the show these days,
- 52:31and unfortunately have been for a long time.
- 52:35They remain the all-powerful, okay?
- 52:42And what is the job of a Missouri
- 52:45senator or a Missouri person elected to the
- 52:48United States House of Representatives?
- 52:50What's their job?
- 52:51Their job is to bring home the bacon.
- 52:53That's it.
- 52:54Nobody gives a crap what they do otherwise.
- 52:57What deals they have to make, what mud
- 52:59they have to sling, whether they support or
- 53:02don't support Ukraine, because all we care about
- 53:05is internal, what's going on in our own
- 53:07little neck of the woods.
- 53:09That's a fair presentation of what goes on
- 53:14in what they're trying to create in the
- 53:16EU.
- 53:17Only there, these are different cultures.
- 53:20And if all their, oh my God, here
- 53:22it is.
- 53:23What does Trump say?
- 53:25Oh, I can't hear it.
- 53:26Trump says the AI image of him was
- 53:29him as a doctor.
- 53:31He said he was a doctor.
- 53:33Where is that?
- 53:33I don't know how to work the TV,
- 53:35so I can't put it on.
- 53:36Well, JR, I've been distracted, but one day
- 53:38you'll have to show me how to use
- 53:40the TV button.
- 53:41I don't know how to do that.
- 53:42Anyway, so I can't put Trump up there
- 53:44saying the AI image.
- 53:46I'm a doctor.
- 53:47No, you're not a doctor.
- 53:48That sure as hell, that white coat didn't
- 53:50portray you as a doctor.
- 53:52That is bad news.
- 53:54You had some terrible AI.
- 53:56That's not you as a doctor.
- 53:59Anyway, I gotta get back to the article.
- 54:01I've been distracted, so we're going to go
- 54:09back to it.
- 54:09It was notable what didn't matter also in
- 54:14Victor Orban's election.
- 54:15It just absolutely made no difference.
- 54:17The visit to Budapest by U.S. Vice
- 54:20President J.D. Vance, along with repeat expressions
- 54:24of support from Trump and his circle, had
- 54:28no measurable impact.
- 54:30Well, I think the impact was actually the
- 54:33opposite.
- 54:34I think the impact was not good.
- 54:37This too fits the pattern.
- 54:39Overt external endorsement rarely helps national elections.
- 54:44Indeed, Trump's team has so far failed to
- 54:48influence the outcome of any European country where
- 54:52it has attempted to intervene, including Romania and
- 54:55Germany.
- 54:56External pressure, regardless of its source, cannot substitute
- 55:00for domestic political conditions.
- 55:02Well, that's not true if you're the EU.
- 55:05If you're the EU and you have all
- 55:08your deep staters go in there and twist
- 55:11all the narratives, twist everything, and provide huge
- 55:15money to the opposition, that has an effect.
- 55:20That said, external actors were not absent.
- 55:24The Western European mainstream, as usual, worked against
- 55:28Orban, but such involvement has long been a
- 55:33structural feature of European politics.
- 55:35Without underlying domestic factors, it's rarely decisive.
- 55:40There were, however, surprises in the details.
- 55:44Fidesz anticipated potential losses in the proportional vote,
- 55:48but expected to retain strength in single-member
- 55:51district.
- 55:52The opposite occurred.
- 55:53The party's relative resilience in the lists contrasted
- 55:57with a collapse at the constituency level.
- 56:01This suggests that at the local level, voters
- 56:04viewed opposition candidates as more attuned to their
- 56:07immediate concerns and less associated with the government
- 56:11perceived as preoccupied with broader geopolitical battles.
- 56:17So equate this to Missouri and Missouri going,
- 56:23I don't care about the war in Iran.
- 56:25That's not important to me.
- 56:26That's not important to my constituents.
- 56:28That's correct, isn't it?
- 56:30Well, all we care about is we don't
- 56:32want to pay $4 a gallon for gas.
- 56:34What the hell are you doing about that?
- 56:35And how can I stop it?
- 56:36And what do I have to do?
- 56:37This is what my people are involved in
- 56:40so that we look inward statewide, statewise.
- 56:43But nationally, we're making some pretty foolish steps
- 56:48that are hurting our ability to pay $2
- 56:53.50 a gallon for gas instead of $4.
- 56:57And I remember, well, we won't give my
- 57:02age.
- 57:02I remember, I think the earliest price I
- 57:05ever remember for seeing gas and paying for
- 57:08gas was $0.55 a gallon is what
- 57:12I remember.
- 57:13And so I remember that on a trip
- 57:17with the family driving.
- 57:22My dad liked to do that for us.
- 57:24In Brussels and other Western European capitals, the
- 57:27mood is celebratory.
- 57:29Yeah, I already told you about von der
- 57:32Leyen pushing her advantage.
- 57:34Orban had become a persistent irritant to the
- 57:37EU, an obstacle to consistent consensus, and at
- 57:41times to policy itself.
- 57:43His departure will be framed symbolically as a
- 57:46triumph of liberal integration over a disruptive and
- 57:51illiberal figure, often portrayed as aligned with Moscow
- 57:57and Washington's more nationalist wing.
- 58:00The incoming government will be expected to demonstrate
- 58:03its credentials quickly.
- 58:05Chief among these expectations is the unblocking of
- 58:08the $90 billion package for Ukraine, something that
- 58:12will likely happen without delay.
- 58:15From Moscow's perspective, this is not welcome news.
- 58:19It would be naive to assume that the
- 58:21European Commission would have been unable to advance
- 58:23its agenda had Orban remained.
- 58:26Mechanisms to bypass his obstruction were already under
- 58:30discussion.
- 58:31Beyond these immediate questions, however, the direction of
- 58:35Hungary's new government is unclear.
- 58:38Peter Magyar's campaign bore many of the hallmarks
- 58:41of a personal project.
- 58:43The composition of his cabinet, the balance of
- 58:46power within it, and the concrete priorities of
- 58:49it are still unknown.
- 58:51More importantly, the structural realities facing Hungary have
- 58:55not changed.
- 58:56Geography and the broader geopolitical environment impose constraints
- 59:00that cannot be washed away.
- 59:03Magyar has already acknowledged the need for dialogue
- 59:05with Russia, as I told you earlier.
- 59:08A recognition that reflects practical necessity rather than
- 59:11ideological alignment, whether this pragmatism can coexist with
- 59:15expectations from Brussels and Kiev remains to be
- 59:18seen.
- 59:19Now, I believe what's going to happen now,
- 59:24and you've already seen it on the international
- 59:27stage, you're going to see Magyar concede on
- 59:35the $90 billion.
- 59:36If he was smart, he would only concede
- 59:40after he gets a deal with it for
- 59:42the transport of Russian gas through Ukraine.
- 59:48That's the only way he can get it.
- 59:50Well, the only way he can afford to
- 59:51get it.
- 59:52And if he's really looking out for his
- 59:54people, like in the big picture, and remember
- 59:57how long Orban was there.
- 59:59Orban knows how this works.
- 1:00:01He can't afford to buy the stuff through
- 1:00:03the other pipelines from the U.S. at
- 1:00:05double, triple the cost.
- 1:00:07He can't do it.
- 1:00:08And so he wants that cheap Russian gas
- 1:00:11back, and the Russian oil, and all the
- 1:00:13products.
- 1:00:14But nobody else does.
- 1:00:16And so, for some reason, they think he
- 1:00:20doesn't understand his own economy, and the corruption
- 1:00:23in Ukraine, and all that other stuff where
- 1:00:25they're getting fantastically wealthy.
- 1:00:27I told you yesterday about the fact that
- 1:00:29Europe, well, in fact, I followed up with
- 1:00:32it again this morning, the fact that Europeans
- 1:00:35are preparing for war against Russia by 2030.
- 1:00:39They want to be ready to start World
- 1:00:41War III if Trump hasn't started it already
- 1:00:45by that time.
- 1:00:45They want to be able to start it,
- 1:00:47and they're pushing towards it, including England, including
- 1:00:50all the majors in the European Commission.
- 1:00:54And if people like Orban, who's gone now,
- 1:00:57if people like Magyar don't resist, and just
- 1:01:01bow down and lick the feet of Ursula
- 1:01:03von der Leyen, I see bigger problems in
- 1:01:07the future for them than solutions.
- 1:01:10Because they're going to be pushing for war
- 1:01:13with Russia.
- 1:01:14And they're doing it already.
- 1:01:16But what is the point of war with
- 1:01:19Russia?
- 1:01:19As I told you earlier in the show,
- 1:01:21if Russia takes over the Donbas, you know,
- 1:01:24which they're close to, very close to, they
- 1:01:28should be able to stop, right?
- 1:01:30And what if they do stop?
- 1:01:34And they just have the lines of the
- 1:01:36front, and they're going to want some more
- 1:01:39to have a buffer zone, because, you know,
- 1:01:42Ukraine will just sit there for the next
- 1:01:4350 years lobbing missiles and sending in drones.
- 1:01:48You know, Russia is going to want to
- 1:01:49destroy their capabilities, and they have been destroying
- 1:01:52missile plants, destroying all that.
- 1:01:54The goal of the European community, and the
- 1:01:57United States under everybody pre-Trump, was to
- 1:02:01get, after 1991 anyway, was to militarize and
- 1:02:06have a million-man Ukrainian army.
- 1:02:09And they were very close to that in
- 1:02:122022, when this started, right?
- 1:02:14They were very close to it.
- 1:02:16And now that's been decimated, you know, but
- 1:02:20now they're still pushing, they're still pushing to
- 1:02:23have Ukraine be the battle zone forever, you
- 1:02:28know?
- 1:02:29And they're hoping once they get rid of
- 1:02:30Lukashenko, they can do the same thing with
- 1:02:32Belarus.
- 1:02:33And I'm not sure what's going to happen
- 1:02:35after that, you know?
- 1:02:36That country, it's beautiful, you know?
- 1:02:41I thought it was wonderful.
- 1:02:43You know, Minsk was fabulous.
- 1:02:45And it's a little on the, not quite
- 1:02:49as modern side as many European places.
- 1:02:53And, but Lithuania was too, you know, the
- 1:02:57same thing.
- 1:02:59And I don't, those countries, maybe they just
- 1:03:04want something different.
- 1:03:06And Europeans like von der Leyen are going
- 1:03:08to be pushing to create that impetus, absolutely,
- 1:03:14when Lukashenko comes up for re-election again,
- 1:03:17because he's now in the old man stage,
- 1:03:22you know?
- 1:03:22He's been in power for a long time.
- 1:03:24And it is a bit of a dictatorship,
- 1:03:27I mean, no doubt.
- 1:03:28But he's watching out for his country, you
- 1:03:31know?
- 1:03:32He's definitely watching out for his country.
- 1:03:35And I fear what happens after that, if
- 1:03:37they try to get somebody anti-Russia and
- 1:03:40twist it against Putin or twist him against
- 1:03:45Russia.
- 1:03:45And Russia is running into the same issue
- 1:03:48before too long.
- 1:03:50I want to spend some time chatting with
- 1:03:53some people about where the world goes after
- 1:03:56these larger-than-life figures, like Sergei Lavrov,
- 1:04:01like Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, Donald Trump, you
- 1:04:06know?
- 1:04:06Where's the after this, you know?
- 1:04:10Where does it go?
- 1:04:12But Orban's defeat is a symbolic representation of
- 1:04:20that very thing.
- 1:04:21It's significant, but its practical implications, we don't
- 1:04:24know what they are.
- 1:04:26Hungary's new leadership are going to have to
- 1:04:28navigate some complex and often unfavorable conditions.
- 1:04:33The same ones that Orban was trying to
- 1:04:35get through, just because it's a new person.
- 1:04:38I mean, don't think that Ursula von der
- 1:04:42Leyen has your back, because she doesn't.
- 1:04:44She's already proven the next day, we're going
- 1:04:47to take away your veto ability.
- 1:04:50That next day.
- 1:04:52So they're going to be pushing this guy
- 1:04:53to give up on the...
- 1:04:57She's still pushing it.
- 1:04:58That's what they're trying with Orban.
- 1:04:59And Orban said, that's not according to the
- 1:05:01rules of the EU.
- 1:05:02We have a veto.
- 1:05:04And this guy needs to seize his own
- 1:05:06power and fire back.
- 1:05:08So the story today, the big story, is
- 1:05:11here comes von der Leyen.
- 1:05:12She's going to take this newbie.
- 1:05:14She's kicking the country while it's down, and
- 1:05:17taking the newbie before the newbie knows what
- 1:05:20happens, and changes all the rules.
- 1:05:22So she doesn't have to deal with anybody
- 1:05:25like Orban in the future.
- 1:05:28I think it's a big mistake, but we'll
- 1:05:29see what he does.
- 1:05:31It'll be interesting how this goes.
- 1:05:37The differences may lie less in the direction
- 1:05:40of policy than in the manner in which
- 1:05:42such policy moves are presented.
- 1:05:46In that sense, this election may mark not
- 1:05:49a fundamental shift, but a recalibration.
- 1:05:53The slogan might change, but the constraints will
- 1:05:56not.
- 1:05:57And that was a pretty good article.
- 1:05:58It was an opinion piece by Fyodor Lukyanov,
- 1:06:01slightly edited by me with additions and commentary.
- 1:06:06But the basis of it was from Fyodor
- 1:06:10Lukyanov, first published in Rassiyskaya Gazeta, and then
- 1:06:16translated for your listening pleasure.
- 1:06:23Let's see.
- 1:06:25Should we talk about the Soros takeover, according
- 1:06:34to Musk?
- 1:06:34I think we should.
- 1:06:36The billionaire weighed in on, not Musk, but
- 1:06:40Soros.
- 1:06:40The pro-EU CICA party's victory over Prime
- 1:06:44Minister Orban in the Hungarian election means that
- 1:06:48the country has essentially been taken over by
- 1:06:50Soros, said Elon Musk.
- 1:06:53In a post on Monday, Musk lashed out
- 1:06:56at Alexander Soros, the son of Hungarian-American
- 1:07:00billionaire George Soros, and chair of the board
- 1:07:03of directors of the Open Society Foundation, who
- 1:07:07celebrated Orban's fall as a resounding rejection of
- 1:07:12entrenched corruption and foreign interference.
- 1:07:17You say in the Hungarian...
- 1:07:18This is the funny part.
- 1:07:19Now, this is Soros' organization politicking against outside
- 1:07:25or foreign interference.
- 1:07:28What does he do?
- 1:07:29He's outside.
- 1:07:30A Soros organization has taken over Hungary, the
- 1:07:33SpaceX and Tesla owners said.
- 1:07:35In a separate post, Musk responded to a
- 1:07:38post by an ex-user who listed figures
- 1:07:41who cheered the result.
- 1:07:42Among them, U.S. former President Barack Obama,
- 1:07:47UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, whose name I
- 1:07:50couldn't remember earlier, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, and
- 1:07:54various EU officials, and wrote, this should tell
- 1:07:57you everything.
- 1:07:59Musk replied with a 100% emoji.
- 1:08:02Musk's comments came after Peter Magyar's Conservative Sica
- 1:08:06party secured 138 seats of the 199-seat
- 1:08:11Hungarian parliament with 53% of the vote,
- 1:08:14while Orban's right-wing Fidesz party took just
- 1:08:1855 seats with a 37.8%, with an
- 1:08:22extremely high voter turnout of almost 80%.
- 1:08:25Though conservative in profile, Sica has pledged to
- 1:08:29dismantle the core pillars of Orban's policies, drawing
- 1:08:34once again closer to the EU and NATO.
- 1:08:37Orban, who will see his 16-year tenure
- 1:08:40as Prime Minister come to an end, has
- 1:08:42long clashed with Budapest-born Soros, accused him
- 1:08:47of fomenting woke ideology, liberal internationalism, and an
- 1:08:52intention to turn Native Europeans into a minority
- 1:08:56through an invasion of immigrants.
- 1:08:59The Soros-founded Open Society Foundation has a
- 1:09:05strong footprint in Hungary.
- 1:09:07Between 2016 and 2023, the network spent almost
- 1:09:11$90 million to fund Hungarian-based organizations, and
- 1:09:17in the year prior to the 2022 parliamentary
- 1:09:20elections, it gave a record $17 million, according
- 1:09:24to research by the Center for Fundamental Rights.
- 1:09:28Hungary received nearly double the OSF's average of
- 1:09:32$19 million per country across Europe and the
- 1:09:35post-Soviet region, with at least 153 organizations
- 1:09:39benefiting from Soros's financial support.
- 1:09:43The OSF is essentially forced to leave Hungary
- 1:09:46in 2018 after Orban passed a stop-Soros
- 1:09:50anti-migration legislation.
- 1:09:53Critics argued that despite the move, the OSF
- 1:09:55continues to influence Hungary's domestic political scene through
- 1:09:59alternative routes.
- 1:10:01So they're still doing it.
- 1:10:05Crazy.
- 1:10:07Oh, who is this?
- 1:10:09Oh, this professor.
- 1:10:10I like listening to him.
- 1:10:12But we're not gonna do that right now.
- 1:10:13I wanted to share with you what Netanyahu
- 1:10:15has gained from the Iran war.
- 1:10:19According to the former Israel interim president, nothing.
- 1:10:24The US-Israel war in Iran and the
- 1:10:27recently announced ceasefire exposed a fundamental clash of
- 1:10:33political interests between the US president and the
- 1:10:39Israeli prime minister, according to the former Israeli
- 1:10:44acting president, Abraham Berg.
- 1:10:47In an exclusive interview, Berg explained that Trump
- 1:10:52had an interest in ending the conflict before
- 1:10:55it had an impact on the midterm elections
- 1:10:57in the US.
- 1:10:58It should have been a very short exercise,
- 1:11:03according to him.
- 1:11:05Netanyahu, on the other hand, has to extend
- 1:11:07it as long as possible because he wants
- 1:11:10to go into elections in a state of
- 1:11:12war, according to Berg, who noted that Israelis,
- 1:11:17when there is a state of war, usually
- 1:11:19rally around the flag of the government.
- 1:11:21The next legislative election is set for late
- 1:11:24October.
- 1:11:26The former speaker of the Knesset argued, however,
- 1:11:29that Netanyahu's gamble has backfired.
- 1:11:32As for now, Netanyahu did not profit a
- 1:11:35thing politically from this campaign, and he may
- 1:11:38have lost a lot, Berg said, predicted that
- 1:11:42the next elections will show that Israelis are
- 1:11:44fed up with his manipulation, his tricks, his
- 1:11:48sticks, and his endurance.
- 1:11:51These are the very last couple of months
- 1:11:53of his government.
- 1:11:55Berg dismissed the idea that the war was
- 1:11:57an existential necessity for Israel.
- 1:12:00It wasn't.
- 1:12:00It was a war of choice.
- 1:12:02This is not existential remotely.
- 1:12:05This is war of choice for the US
- 1:12:08and for Israel.
- 1:12:10Iran was not an existential threat to Israel.
- 1:12:13This is a former Israeli prime minister or
- 1:12:16interim.
- 1:12:17It was a real problem that could have
- 1:12:20been dealt with by diplomacy, by agreement, by
- 1:12:23different equilibrium and balance.
- 1:12:26He also rejected speculation that Netanyahu would use
- 1:12:29nuclear weapons to stay in power, calling it
- 1:12:32unthinkable.
- 1:12:33Now, I disagree with him there.
- 1:12:34I think Netanyahu would do anything, and Netanyahu
- 1:12:39will do anything to stay in power, including
- 1:12:41using nuclear weapons.
- 1:12:43Netanyahu has no regard for human life.
- 1:12:49Those people are bugs and need some bug
- 1:12:52spray, is what I believe he believes.
- 1:12:55He acts that way, that's for sure.
- 1:12:57These are not people that he's sending to
- 1:13:00their deaths to kill people.
- 1:13:02These are people he's sending to their deaths,
- 1:13:05but they're not killing people.
- 1:13:06They're killing less than people.
- 1:13:09And in his mind, I'm telling you that
- 1:13:11I can't imagine that that's not how he
- 1:13:13thinks.
- 1:13:14Oh my gosh, they're showing on the TV.
- 1:13:15I have a book.
- 1:13:17I have a red book.
- 1:13:19I have a copy of it, but it's
- 1:13:20in English.
- 1:13:21It has a Chinese and they're showing it
- 1:13:23on TV saying Mao Zedong's Little Red Book
- 1:13:26and Chinese Communism.
- 1:13:28And it's shown on the TV.
- 1:13:29Sorry to be delayed here, but I have
- 1:13:32in my office a copy of quotes from
- 1:13:35Chairman Mao.
- 1:13:37And I mean, they're pretty cool.
- 1:13:39You know, you have Chairman Mao quotes in
- 1:13:42there that you could read right next to
- 1:13:44my, you know, I brought a lawyer joke
- 1:13:45book with me.
- 1:13:46I was going to share some jokes with
- 1:13:48you.
- 1:13:48500 Great Lawyer Jokes is the name of
- 1:13:51the book, hangs in my office, you know,
- 1:13:53hangs out there.
- 1:13:54And I brought it in maybe before I
- 1:13:56get back to the Israeli zero gain, zero
- 1:14:00sum game.
- 1:14:02I will share with you a random, a
- 1:14:05random lawyer joke.
- 1:14:11Here's a joke for you.
- 1:14:14Why do you want to be buried in
- 1:14:17the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?
- 1:14:19The attorney asked when a slot as he
- 1:14:22drew up his new will, because said when
- 1:14:25a slot, my wife has vowed to dance
- 1:14:28on my grave.
- 1:14:31Well, maybe that one was a bad one.
- 1:14:33We'll share another one.
- 1:14:34Then there was the attorney who pointed out
- 1:14:37that it only takes a few words in
- 1:14:39a church to get married and a few
- 1:14:42words in your sleep to get divorced.
- 1:14:45Now that was much better.
- 1:14:47Okay.
- 1:14:47So there you go for the lawyer jokes
- 1:14:50that we have.
- 1:14:51That was a good one in the ceasefire.
- 1:14:55Wait, wait, wait.
- 1:14:56Did I miss one?
- 1:14:57Yeah.
- 1:14:57These are the last we talked about.
- 1:15:00It's not existential.
- 1:15:01And they got to agree to equilibrium.
- 1:15:03He also rejected speculation that Netanyahu would use
- 1:15:06nuclear weapons.
- 1:15:07I disagree with that.
- 1:15:08That's where we were on the ceasefire.
- 1:15:10Berg described Trump's unilateral move as a divorce
- 1:15:14from Israel.
- 1:15:15And he concluded that the only clear winner
- 1:15:18from the conflict is Iran, which got hit
- 1:15:20very strong, but survived and therefore won.
- 1:15:23Check out the full episode at a show
- 1:15:27called Going Underground.
- 1:15:30You can find it on YouTube, I believe.
- 1:15:34But Vance, he claims that the U.S.
- 1:15:36has achieved its Iranian goals, right?
- 1:15:39Now I think he's this, this I'm going
- 1:15:43to share with you because it's just funny
- 1:15:45that we haven't achieved anything.
- 1:15:47U.S. has achieved its objectives in Iran,
- 1:15:49Vice President Vance has claimed.
- 1:15:51Adding Washington could begin winding down its military
- 1:15:55operation against the Islamic Republic.
- 1:15:57In a Fox News interview yesterday, after negotiators
- 1:16:00left talks in Pakistan without securing an agreement
- 1:16:03to end the conflict, Vance said Washington made
- 1:16:06a lot of progress in the negotiations.
- 1:16:08They left again today.
- 1:16:10He left this morning, it looks like.
- 1:16:12And that the ball is in Iran's court
- 1:16:14on whether to move forward.
- 1:16:16I do think that we're in a place
- 1:16:18where we've accomplished our objectives.
- 1:16:20We can start to wind this thing down.
- 1:16:23I'd much rather wind this thing down with
- 1:16:25a big successful negotiation.
- 1:16:27But either way, he's got to wind it
- 1:16:29down.
- 1:16:30The trouble is they have to wind it
- 1:16:33down.
- 1:16:33They have lost.
- 1:16:34And if they keep on going, it's only
- 1:16:36going to be, it's only going to get
- 1:16:39worse.
- 1:16:40According to Vance, and these blockades are going
- 1:16:43to be a terrible idea.
- 1:16:45According to Vance, the talks at the weekend
- 1:16:47in Islamabad did make some progress, particularly U
- 1:16:51.S. demands for the removal of nuclear material
- 1:16:53from Iran and measures to prevent future uranium
- 1:16:57enrichment.
- 1:16:58They did move in our direction, he claimed.
- 1:17:02He suggested that Iranian negotiators were unable to
- 1:17:05cut a deal without sign off from other
- 1:17:07authorities and return to Tehran to seek approval
- 1:17:10of U.S. terms.
- 1:17:11Whether we have further conversations, whether we ultimately
- 1:17:13get to make a deal, I really think
- 1:17:16the ball is in their court.
- 1:17:17He added that if the U.S. red
- 1:17:18lines on Iran's nuclear program are met, then
- 1:17:23this can be a very, very good deal
- 1:17:25for both countries.
- 1:17:28Well, then why do we have blockades if
- 1:17:31all we're waiting for is the negotiators to
- 1:17:35go to Tehran and get approval of the
- 1:17:37U.S. terms?
- 1:17:39Why are we blocking ports if that's the
- 1:17:41case?
- 1:17:42The comments came hours after the U.S.
- 1:17:44began blocking ships at Iranian ports in the
- 1:17:47Straits of Hormuz, a move President Trump said
- 1:17:50was meant to force Tehran back to talks
- 1:17:53and reopen the vital oil artery, the disruption
- 1:17:57of which has sent energy prices skyrocketing.
- 1:18:00Well, if he hadn't started this idiocy, then
- 1:18:04the Straits of Hormuz would have never been
- 1:18:07blocked.
- 1:18:07They were never blocked before.
- 1:18:11So this this was long planned.
- 1:18:14You guys knew this was the result or
- 1:18:17a potential result, and you did nothing to
- 1:18:20counter it or even have a plan for
- 1:18:24countering it.
- 1:18:25And here we are, you know, six weeks
- 1:18:27later, and the prices of energy are skyrocketing,
- 1:18:31skyrocketing.
- 1:18:33It's nonsense.
- 1:18:34Meanwhile, Tehran signals its own doubt, insisting that
- 1:18:37Washington should accept the terms or face a
- 1:18:41stalemate.
- 1:18:42Ibrahim Azizi, the head of the Iranian Parliament
- 1:18:46and the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee,
- 1:18:48told the newspaper on Sunday he added that
- 1:18:52the U.S. needs a deal more than
- 1:18:54we do.
- 1:18:56Now that's telling.
- 1:18:57The U.S. needs a deal more than
- 1:19:00we do.
- 1:19:01I happen to agree with that sentiment, truthfully,
- 1:19:04because we do.
- 1:19:05People are talking.
- 1:19:07This is not good.
- 1:19:10Many Iranians are unhappy that Tehran even entered
- 1:19:13into negotiations.
- 1:19:15That's true, too.
- 1:19:16When they need it, they should accept both
- 1:19:19the conditions and the prerequisites.
- 1:19:21If they don't, we'll do our work and
- 1:19:23go our own way.
- 1:19:24Nothing will change, according to Azizi.
- 1:19:27Tehran remains deeply skeptical of Washington, even after
- 1:19:31ceasefire-related preconditions were discussed.
- 1:19:35Azizi said, we do not trust them.
- 1:19:38We simply do not trust them, he added,
- 1:19:41questioning whether a country that elevates arrogance and
- 1:19:45colonialism to a guiding principle can be relied
- 1:19:49upon to honor its commitments.
- 1:19:54That's scary.
- 1:19:56I mean, seriously.
- 1:19:57And it's most scary because it's absolutely true
- 1:20:01what he said.
- 1:20:03It's true.
- 1:20:04How in the world can you trust people
- 1:20:07who ignore their own commitments?
- 1:20:11You know, why?
- 1:20:13In the middle of negotiations, twice now, the
- 1:20:17U.S. has allowed Israel to start attacking
- 1:20:19and killing people right during the negotiations.
- 1:20:22That's not a negotiation tactic.
- 1:20:25That's not in the art of the deal
- 1:20:26anywhere that I'm aware of.
- 1:20:30You know, what 11-point plan of learning
- 1:20:34how to negotiate, does that fit?
- 1:20:38You know, that's absolutism at its worst.
- 1:20:42You're not negotiating.
- 1:20:44It's, you know, same playbook, same map.
- 1:20:50And these people, well, and these globalist people,
- 1:20:56which I include, by the way, you know,
- 1:21:02the Lindsey Graham group, you know, that is,
- 1:21:04in my view, has a lot of great
- 1:21:07influence of some sort over the old Trumpster.
- 1:21:11Because otherwise, I don't think he'd be endorsing
- 1:21:16Lindsey Graham.
- 1:21:18What the hell is that?
- 1:21:20Oh, my God.
- 1:21:20That is scary.
- 1:21:21Who in the world would endorse that guy?
- 1:21:25I can't imagine his own state continues to
- 1:21:30elect him.
- 1:21:31You know, I really did want to share
- 1:21:32with you something about this Gagarin flight some
- 1:21:35more, but I'm going to delete it.
- 1:21:37We're sharing with you yesterday.
- 1:21:41Soros taking over Hungary, we already discussed.
- 1:21:44Here you go about more U.S. congressmen
- 1:21:48resigning over sex scandals.
- 1:21:50Is that even a problem anymore post-Bill
- 1:21:53Clinton?
- 1:21:53I mean, that wasn't, you know, is.
- 1:21:58Depends on what the definition of is, is.
- 1:22:02So, Eric Swalwell and Republican Tony Gonzalez have
- 1:22:06said they will resign from the U.S.
- 1:22:09House of Representatives following accusations of sexual misconduct.
- 1:22:15Swalwell, elected in 2013, denied the allegations, claimed
- 1:22:19they were part of an effort to derail
- 1:22:21his campaign for governor in his home state
- 1:22:23of California, where he'd been one of the
- 1:22:25top contenders.
- 1:22:26He suspended that campaign on Sunday and announced
- 1:22:30plans to leave Congress yesterday.
- 1:22:32I'm deeply sorry to my family, staff, constituents
- 1:22:35for mistakes and judgment I made in the
- 1:22:36past.
- 1:22:37Swalwell said in a statement on X, he
- 1:22:39criticized calls for a vote to expel him,
- 1:22:41but added that it also wrong for my
- 1:22:43constituents to have me distracted from my duties.
- 1:22:46Well, why is it okay to have Lindsey
- 1:22:49Graham distracted with all the international BS that
- 1:22:52he does?
- 1:22:53Guy's a nut.
- 1:22:54He needs to go to Kiev and make
- 1:22:55sure that the 90 billion gets handed over
- 1:22:57personally, right?
- 1:22:59According to CNN, four women accused Swalwell of
- 1:23:01misconduct, including a former staffer who alleged the
- 1:23:05politician raped her in 2019 and 2024 while
- 1:23:09she was heavily intoxicated.
- 1:23:10Other women alleged that Swalwell groped them and
- 1:23:13sent explicit messages and nude photos.
- 1:23:16Oh, we got wiener pics.
- 1:23:18In 2023, Swalwell was removed from the house
- 1:23:22intelligence committee following an Axios report that he
- 1:23:25had contacts with a suspected Chinese intelligence operative.
- 1:23:30Gonzales, a Republican from Texas suspended his reelection
- 1:23:34campaign last month after it was revealed he
- 1:23:37had an affair with an aide who died
- 1:23:38by suicide in 2025.
- 1:23:41Gonzales, who was first elected in 2021, admitted
- 1:23:44to the affair, described it as a lapse
- 1:23:47in judgment, and on Monday, he said he
- 1:23:49would submit his resignation the next day when
- 1:23:52Congress returns to session.
- 1:23:57I guess it's no longer just business as
- 1:24:01usual, huh?
- 1:24:03How are these legislators ever going to get
- 1:24:07away?
- 1:24:08How are they ever going to take the
- 1:24:11next level if all of them have to
- 1:24:16resign over sex?
- 1:24:18I mean, come on.
- 1:24:19These people can have sex with whoever they
- 1:24:21want.
- 1:24:21They're powerful.
- 1:24:23Their wives, I mean, you can't tell them.
- 1:24:26I mean, why in the world do we
- 1:24:27destroy a man's life?
- 1:24:29Why?
- 1:24:29Why?
- 1:24:30Well, I would argue they destroyed their own.
- 1:24:33Never screw around at the office.
- 1:24:36What's wrong with you?
- 1:24:37Don't you know the rules of the game?
- 1:24:40You don't screw around at the office.
- 1:24:43I realize that true love smacks you in
- 1:24:45the face every time you walk out the
- 1:24:47door these days.
- 1:24:48You see true love at Walmart, for God's
- 1:24:51sake.
- 1:24:51You could go anywhere, you know, just wandering
- 1:24:54down the street.
- 1:24:55Oh, my God, look at that girl.
- 1:24:57True love, there it is.
- 1:24:58I understand that, you know, true love is
- 1:25:01difficult to overcome, Mr. Swalwell, Mr. Gonzales, but
- 1:25:06you have to restrain those native urges, you
- 1:25:12know, and attempt to be professional.
- 1:25:16Keep it at the house.
- 1:25:18Keep it, you know.
- 1:25:19Heck, buy her a, you got money, buy
- 1:25:22her a, what do you call it, a
- 1:25:24condo somewhere.
- 1:25:25You guys, you could have done better than
- 1:25:27this.
- 1:25:29This is terrible.
- 1:25:30I disagree with that entirely, but, you know,
- 1:25:32if you're going to do it, jeez, why
- 1:25:34do it in your office, you moron?
- 1:25:37And, you know, you don't go attacking an
- 1:25:39intern.
- 1:25:40Come on, you get the intern drunk and
- 1:25:42then have sex with her.
- 1:25:43Good, good plan.
- 1:25:44Anyway, that's the news for today.
- 1:25:47I really apologize for digressing a little bit
