[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I mean, the 49ers are a top flight team.

[SPEAKER_02]: By any analytical metric, you can look at.

[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the first comments was, I'm gonna wait until they beat a quality opponent.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, didn't they just manhandle the Rams?

[SPEAKER_02]: And we saw what the Rams did last night, against, you know, busted up team, but still, like the Rams are a good team.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and I just kind of feel like, I don't know how much of this is just modern society and social media, or how much of this is the Kyle Shanahan era of 49ers.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the question is, can they continue to keep up looking like they're the best team in the league?

[SPEAKER_01]: There's still some things and things that they got to fix.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're playing great and the question is, John, they just got to figure out how to keep up.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I remember, you know, in my coaching days, like it was always the best thing to have issues to correct after a win, like that is like whenever you can look at the tape and you can say like, okay, yeah, we won.

[SPEAKER_02]: Man, there are still areas that need to dressing.

[SPEAKER_02]: No team in the NFL is a complete perfect team across the board.

[SPEAKER_02]: The Niners have those weaknesses.

[SPEAKER_02]: Would you be willing to say that the defensive tackle group is the biggest cause for concern at the moment?

[SPEAKER_02]: And if they're not the biggest, I'm curious to know what you think is, but I want to spend some time talking about the defensive tackle group

[SPEAKER_01]: The defensive tackle group just isn't built.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we have the person now to stop the run, especially early.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so we kind of regroup, we retweak, and then they do a little bit better job, and it takes the offense.

[SPEAKER_01]: Basically, the offense comes out in the second half.

[SPEAKER_01]: in these games, the both the two games that we just witnessed, and they kind of ramp it up a little bit.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it allows teams to not run as much.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably why the defense looks a little bit better against the run in half number two, but they do make some tweaks.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think their bill.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, losing alpha comments was probably huge because that regardless of him,

[SPEAKER_01]: A big guy that can probably soak up a couple of guys up front man and take on the double teams, which will allow these linebacks to continue to play downhill.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about you, but our safety is getting way too many tackles, especially around the box because those offensive linemen are getting to the second level John.

[SPEAKER_01]: to me, that is the weakest link.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I know we don't want to say that, I know we want to say the safety where our safety's aren't really getting tested at this point.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the run-D and they have to figure it out.

[SPEAKER_01]: They've given up 100 Russian yards and back to back games.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember when their run-D fence was like average in 79, 80 yards, a game.
