- 0:01Speaker 1: 861-KISS-MORNING-FREAK-SHOW. I feel like at least once a week now
- 0:05Speaker 1: we start the show with time to open a package, right?
- 0:07Speaker 1: There's a box waiting for us. All right, so I
- 0:09Speaker 1: got the letter here. It says, thanks for all the
- 0:12Speaker 1: laughs and chaos on the show, Mikey and Bob. I
- 0:14Speaker 1: originally made this traffic cone outfit for my friend who's
- 0:17Speaker 1: a huge Pirates fan. As soon as I finished making it,
- 0:20Speaker 1: my husband immediately thought of Bob's wife and her love
- 0:22Speaker 1: for the target birds in her porch goose. Oh, my God.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I wanted to send a desk goose over for Yinz
- 0:29Speaker 1: to hoist and add to her collection. Matt and Lauren.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Hoist the goose. Matt and Lauren mailed us. It might
- 0:37Speaker 1: be too late for the pirates. I don't know if
- 0:39Speaker 1: the goose is turning this around. I don't know if
- 0:43Speaker 1: the goose is turning this around. It's a desk goose
- 0:48Speaker 1: that's wearing an entire traffic cone. Hoist the goose. It's
- 0:51Speaker 1: a little hoist the goose, you know? Hoist the goose.
- 0:54Speaker 1: It's great. All right, yeah. I think that's yours, though.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I think this goes in your house.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Oh, it's got another.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 1: It's got a candy corn outfit for spooky season. Look
- 1:02Speaker 1: at that. Multiple costumes. All right, there you go. There's
- 1:05Speaker 1: your desk goose.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Another goose.
- 1:06Speaker 1: You can take it home to your wife, Rebecca. Oh,
- 1:09Speaker 1: it's the goose. I got a goose. I love going
- 1:12Speaker 1: home from work when we have random prizes and our
- 1:15Speaker 1: family's just like, ah, what do you got there? Ah,
- 1:18Speaker 1: we got a goose. It's wearing a traffic cone dress.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Now it's ready for Halloween. Matt and Lauren, thank you.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Thank you. It's a good way to start the day
- 1:27Speaker 1: with a desk goose.
- 1:29Speaker 4: 96.1.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:32Speaker 1: We've got a guy who listens to the show over
- 1:33Speaker 1: in Oakmont, Bob from Oakmont. He also refers to himself
- 1:37Speaker 1: as Bobby Digital, likes to hang out at the American
- 1:40Speaker 1: Legion in Oakmont. And then he likes to hang at
- 1:43Speaker 1: the Legion and send us messages from the Legion.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And then we wake up and come in here in
- 1:48Speaker 1: the morning and we got a message from Bobbo, Bobby
- 1:53Speaker 1: Digital in Oakmont here. Three, two, one. Oh, your boy
- 1:57Speaker 1: Bob's ready for fun. That's how we start, dude. Three, two, one.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Your boy Bobby's ready for fun, dude. He gave you
- 2:05Speaker 1: the countdown. Three, two, one. Well, your boy Bob's ready
- 2:09Speaker 1: for fun. Mikey and Bob, I heard them Steelers might
- 2:13Speaker 1: have won. Steelers won. We're down here at the Legion
- 2:16Speaker 1: listening to some sultry music.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Got some fish.
- 2:19Speaker 3: But the real thing is, when yin's coming down.
- 2:26Speaker 1: When yin's coming down. When they coming down. Come on
- 2:30Speaker 1: down anytime you want. Never come down. All right, hold on.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Is he yelling at the bar? He yelled at the
- 2:35Speaker 1: American Legion. When they come and die. When they come
- 2:38Speaker 1: and die. And then after that, you hear some of
- 2:41Speaker 1: his friends, you know, he yells when they come and
- 2:44Speaker 1: die and then listen to his buds. When they come
- 2:46Speaker 1: and die. Come on down anytime. Never come down. One
- 2:50Speaker 1: guy's like, come on down anytime. And another guy, they
- 2:54Speaker 1: never come and die. Bobbo, Bobby Digital, Bob from Oakmont, man.
- 3:01Speaker 1: When they come and die. When they come and die, man.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm scared of the Legion, man. If they're going that
- 3:06Speaker 1: hard on a weeknight. That's true. That's true. That is
- 3:10Speaker 1: a Wednesday night Legion right there. If the party's that
- 3:13Speaker 1: good on a weeknight, I'm not sure I survive a
- 3:15Speaker 1: weekend at the Legion in Oakmont. I don't think anybody
- 3:18Speaker 1: survives a weekend if we go to the American Legion
- 3:20Speaker 1: in Oakmont.
- 3:22Speaker 2: All right.
- 3:22Speaker 1: WTAE was out talking to older folks yesterday who saw
- 3:26Speaker 1: the super load come through their town.
- 3:28Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We'll get to that coming up around 625. We got
- 3:32Speaker 1: Wiz Khalifa tickets to win for you today around 830.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's Mikey and Bob. 961 Kiss. The Mikey and Bob Podcast.
- 3:39Speaker 7: Where's the sausage?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Anybody answer you?
- 3:44Speaker 8: No.
- 3:45Speaker 1: No? No answer?
- 3:46Speaker 9: No.
- 3:46Speaker 1: All right. Well, it's still a mystery why it smells
- 3:48Speaker 1: like sausage here and only Bob can smell it.
- 3:51Speaker 8: Stream the Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Get your podcasts. Pirates lost 5-4 yesterday. They got an
- 4:00Speaker 1: afternoon game this afternoon, 12-35, playing the Brewers. And there,
- 4:05Speaker 1: of course, is Pitt football tonight, the Thursday night game
- 4:10Speaker 1: against Syracuse. And Pitt is urging fans to wait until
- 4:15Speaker 1: 4 p.m. or later to go down to the North
- 4:17Speaker 1: Shore to give enough time for the Pirates traffic to
- 4:20Speaker 1: clear out. Now, let me say something to Pitt here.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Why would you do this? Don't tell them when to
- 4:27Speaker 1: show up. It's a Pirates afternoon game. We have a
- 4:31Speaker 1: losing record. We're not going to be in the playoffs.
- 4:34Speaker 1: How many people do you think are going to a
- 4:36Speaker 1: Thursday afternoon Pirates game? Honestly, like the numbers, 7,000, 8,000
- 4:40Speaker 1: at the most. tickets sold 2000 show up that's what
- 4:46Speaker 1: i mean like like pit calm down this isn't gonna
- 4:49Speaker 1: be a this isn't like a oh north shore's locked
- 4:51Speaker 1: up no come on pit shouldn't we be welcoming everybody
- 4:55Speaker 1: down that wants to come to yeah at any time
- 4:57Speaker 1: yeah pit football uh tonight against syracuse it's mikey and
- 5:00Speaker 1: bob here on 96 one kiss there's a super load
- 5:03Speaker 1: coming through yesterday Still going through Western PA today, right, Bob?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Day two of the load.
- 5:09Speaker 8: Okay.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Some will call it the deuce. The super deuce today. Oh, wow.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Day two of the super load. Yeah. Again, if you
- 5:15Speaker 1: don't know, it's this big vehicle. I thought this was
- 5:18Speaker 1: a big convoy with, like, 30 different vehicles moving a
- 5:21Speaker 1: bunch of stuff to go to, like, a power plant
- 5:23Speaker 1: or something. It's one vehicle. And honestly... ain't that big
- 5:28Speaker 1: like why were people watching this all right let's go
- 5:31Speaker 1: to wta here uh chandy chapman.
- 5:34Speaker 10: We are here in apollo where the 381 ton super load.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Is coming through you can see it right behind me
- 5:43Speaker 1: people are lined up hey she timed it out real
- 5:46Speaker 1: good though like the super load was moving right behind
- 5:50Speaker 1: her as she did her her report there when she
- 5:53Speaker 1: says people are lined up too she wasn't lying Yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 1: there were people lined up like it was a parade.
- 5:59Speaker 1: To get a glimpse of all the action. All right,
- 6:02Speaker 1: let's talk to some older folks who were watching the
- 6:04Speaker 1: super load yesterday. I was down here at 8.30 this morning. Sir,
- 6:08Speaker 1: why were you there at 8.30 in the morning? It's mid-afternoon.
- 6:12Speaker 1: What have you been doing? It doesn't even seem healthy
- 6:14Speaker 1: for you to be out there that long.
- 6:15Speaker 5: I waited it out.
- 6:17Speaker 1: So what makes this so exciting to see?
- 6:19Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 1: How little the towns are in the street there, how
- 6:22Speaker 1: they're going to get this big item down all these streets.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Very impressive.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Amazing.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Amazing.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And it'll just get better as they learn what they're doing. Huh?
- 6:33Speaker 1: What do you mean? I think they know what they're doing.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It'll get better. They're moving a super loan. I don't
- 6:38Speaker 1: think this is their first go around here. Are we
- 6:40Speaker 1: watching the same thing? No, she thinks it's a parade.
- 6:43Speaker 1: The big item she's talking about, she thinks it'll get better.
- 6:46Speaker 1: She thinks Santa Claus is at the end of the parade.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It'll get better. Actually, about half the people that were
- 6:51Speaker 1: watching the Superload are all older folks who actually think
- 6:53Speaker 1: they were watching a parade and Santa Claus is going
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be at the end. At what age is the
- 6:57Speaker 1: Superload the full day option where you sit out there?
- 7:01Speaker 1: I think you get to an age. I don't want
- 7:04Speaker 1: to retire. I don't want to do that. Maybe I do.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Maybe there's an age where I'm just like, screw it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Superload's coming. See?
- 7:10Speaker 8: See?
- 7:11Speaker 1: I think you get to an age where you're like,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I have one chance to see a super load because
- 7:15Speaker 1: me and you are still thinking we got another super
- 7:17Speaker 1: load or two in our lifetime. These older folks know
- 7:21Speaker 1: they're like, this is not my chance to see a
- 7:24Speaker 1: super load because I'm 85 years old and I've been
- 7:27Speaker 1: out here since 830 in the morning. And the other
- 7:29Speaker 1: lady's just like, Santa!
- 7:33Speaker 8: The Mikey and Bob Podcast.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I love this city so much. Yep, I love this

- 8:31Speaker 1: message you just got? Jake here.
- 8:33Speaker 6: Jake?
- 8:34Speaker 1: An Instagram message and wanted to know if we wanted
- 8:37Speaker 1: his Luke Bryan tickets. Luke Bryan's playing out in La
- 8:40Speaker 1: Trobe tonight? He's playing the farm, dude. Oh, yeah, he's
- 8:43Speaker 1: doing a farm tour. Yeah, he's out in La Trobe tonight.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And where's he playing in La Trobe? 1846 Farms. All right. Well,
- 8:50Speaker 1: we're not going to make it out to Luke Bryan
- 8:52Speaker 1: show tonight. Hey, his wife... She got the food poisoning. Oh, no.
- 8:57Speaker 1: And they're not going to make it either, man.
- 8:59Speaker 6: Jeez.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I just sent a message back. I'm just like, oh, no.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You definitely don't want food poisoning on the farm.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Out there in cornfield just pooping like a goof. You
- 9:10Speaker 1: know what, though? That's nature's fertilizer there, though. You get
- 9:15Speaker 1: a couple people with the Ria out at a Luke
- 9:17Speaker 1: Bryan farm show, and all of a sudden, the circle
- 9:21Speaker 1: of life. All of a sudden, the harvest is great. Man,
- 9:26Speaker 1: it's a Thursday show today. It's a Thursday show today.
- 9:29Speaker 2: All right.

- 9:35Speaker 4: It's a great day.
- 9:36Speaker 1: It's a great day.
- 9:37Speaker 7: It's more like a hockey afternoon.

- 12:55Speaker 1: And everything like that. And then we had somebody who
- 12:57Speaker 1: was at the Iron Maiden concert in Hershey, and you
- 13:01Speaker 1: said that the cardio drummer, 81-year-old lady, was Iron Maiden's drummer.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I don't think that was true. What I read online.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Let me get to this real quick. Mikey, Bob.
- 13:11Speaker 14: Iron Maiden Matt here trying to recover from last night's

- 13:27Speaker 14: ripped a 15-minute drum solo during Number of the Beast.
- 13:31Speaker 15: Jesus.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Crazy. Wow.
- 13:33Speaker 6: Anyways, happy birthday, Bob.

- 16:45Speaker 1: Oh, here it goes. Roller coaster. Another big hill coming.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 16:50Speaker 18: And we're jamming to Pitbull. The Pitbull's good. I like
- 16:58Speaker 18: that Pitbull. I almost knocked over my damn space heater.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Hey, the weather today. Not great. It's going to be
- 17:11Speaker 1: high around 80 degrees, but wet with showers and storms today.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Not great. I feel like for the big pit game,
- 17:20Speaker 1: they're taking on Syracuse at home tonight. A little Thursday
- 17:22Speaker 1: night college football. It's always fun. I feel like a
- 17:25Speaker 1: lot more people are just watching it because it's on.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It's the only thing that's on, right? So pit Syracuse
- 17:31Speaker 1: tonight at Akershire, but some rain, obviously, in the forecast.
- 17:35Speaker 1: It is Mikey and Bob. Here on 96.1 KISS right now, Bob,
- 17:38Speaker 1: let's get to this.
- 17:40Speaker 7: We're all going to learn something together right now. It's
- 17:43Speaker 7: time to find out. Why the hell is this trending
- 17:46Speaker 7: with Mikey and Bab?
- 17:48Speaker 1: Macklemore, we all know that he's off the Ed Sheeran
- 17:51Speaker 1: tour because Patriots owner Robert Kraft said he's not going
- 17:55Speaker 1: to play at Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play because
- 17:58Speaker 1: Macklemore spoke out. you know, free Palestine and all that.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Macklemore challenged Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match a $ 1
- 18:07Speaker 1: million donation to organizations supporting Palestinians. Man, Macklemore's playing this
- 18:12Speaker 1: the right way. He's like, all right, dude, you care
- 18:15Speaker 1: about him so much, million dollars. What a great move.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Just like, go ahead. Yeah, all right. Well, million bucks, huh?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Here you go. Robert Kraft then, I guess, responded because
- 18:29Speaker 1: Ed Sheeran reportedly told him to donate $ 2 million. So
- 18:36Speaker 1: Ed Sheeran went back and was just like, well, you
- 18:39Speaker 1: ruined my tour. So Robert Kraft said, I've dedicated much
- 18:42Speaker 1: of my life to building bridges between all people. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: believe deeply that all lives are worth protecting. Earlier today,
- 18:48Speaker 1: before Macklemore challenged me to match his donation, Ed called
- 18:52Speaker 1: me and asked me to commit $ 2 million to match
- 18:55Speaker 1: his donation to aid in the region to fight this
- 18:58Speaker 1: humanitarian crisis. Ed now plans to reach out to other
- 19:01Speaker 1: venue owners. And our goal is to continue to work
- 19:04Speaker 1: together to build bridges. So basically, Ed Sheeran's like, hey,
- 19:07Speaker 1: Robert Kraft and all these other, you know, NFL owners.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Macklemore should challenge every NFL owner by name. He should.
- 19:14Speaker 1: He should. Macklemore's got everybody in a position right now.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Take a mil from every NFL owner. They got to
- 19:22Speaker 1: sort of pay it, right?
- 19:23Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Or they're going to be the one that's just like, no,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I don't. I'm not doing that. So Robert Kraft apparently
- 19:31Speaker 1: has donated two million now because Macklemore called them out
- 19:36Speaker 1: and then Ed Sheeran put the pressure on him. I
- 19:38Speaker 1: cannot believe we're talking about this story and we have
- 19:41Speaker 1: for like a week now. Yeah. And it involves Robert
- 19:44Speaker 1: craft and mac lamore and edge like this is weird
- 19:49Speaker 1: like these are not paths that usually cross like this
- 19:52Speaker 1: uh is ed still playing yeah his his uh stage
- 19:56Speaker 1: is going up in philly and everything he's supposed to
- 19:58Speaker 1: play there on saturday night so we'll see if that
- 20:00Speaker 1: uh keeps going but nobody's opening for him His band
- 20:04Speaker 1: isn't on the tour. I don't know what it's going
- 20:06Speaker 1: to be. Is he just going to do the pedal
- 20:08Speaker 1: loop thing?
- 20:08Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Saturday with Ed. Let's talk about Taylor Swift here. Let's
- 20:13Speaker 1: get to a talkback message real quick. Brought to us
- 20:15Speaker 1: by The Pavement Group. Hey, Mike and Bob.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Guessing up on a podcast here.
- 20:20Speaker 20: Uh, you're talking about Taylor Swift and all the little
- 20:22Speaker 20: things that she was saying that were leading to something.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah, the Easter eggs and the SVU skit on the Emmys.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I think we need the X-File music for when Mikey
- 20:30Speaker 1: gets into these tangents here. I just think it, I
- 20:33Speaker 1: know it's for Aaron Rodgers, but I think it fits
- 20:35Speaker 1: both situations. I mean. Anyway, Ghost Dealers! That was a
- 20:40Speaker 1: good Ghost Dealers again here. That was a good one.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Is that what we need? We need like the X-Files
- 20:44Speaker 1: music when I start getting into a... When you go deep.
- 20:47Speaker 1: A Swifty spiral. When I start spiraling a little bit here.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Is there new news or are you just playing it?
- 20:55Speaker 1: A little bit. Okay. An executive producer for the Emmys
- 20:59Speaker 1: confirmed that Taylor Swift asked to sprinkle in the secret messages.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Oh.
- 21:08Speaker 8: Oh.
- 21:09Speaker 1: He said Taylor loved the script.
- 21:12Speaker 13: Oh.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And she had some thoughts. Oh. And we worked that in.
- 21:18Speaker 1: So they were just going to do a fun bit,
- 21:20Speaker 1: a little segment. Yeah, because she loves SVU. And Taylor's
- 21:24Speaker 1: Olivia Benson. Like, no, I got real Easter eggs I
- 21:28Speaker 1: can plant. Here you go. Taylor's like, I got stuff
- 21:31Speaker 1: to do in this skit, okay? So that confirms it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Everybody's not clowning. There's eggs. They're going to lead to something.
- 21:42Speaker 1: The producer for the Emmys went and said the Easter eggs.
- 21:47Speaker 1: She wanted them to be really official and correct. So
- 21:54Speaker 1: it's real Easter eggs. I remember she said those words, right?
- 21:59Speaker 1: You remember the words? Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 8: I think what we're going to be looking for Is.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Hiding in plain sight. From the vineyard, north or south.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, she's doing her words and everything. And
- 22:17Speaker 1: then we got a message. Yeah, we got a message, Bob.
- 22:21Speaker 1: We got a message. Somebody sent us Mikey and Bob
- 22:25Speaker 1: Easter eggs. Is it hiding in plain sight? Butt cheeks, underwear,
- 22:34Speaker 1: stands to life, east and west. It's hiding in plain sight.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Wiz Khalifa tickets coming up around 830. It's Mikey and Bob.
- 22:43Speaker 5: 96.1.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Limited commercial interruptions here in the 7 a.m. hour. Thanks
- 22:50Speaker 1: to our friends at Always Safe Flagging and Traffic Control.
- 22:53Speaker 1: You can get yourself a job with them. Go to
- 22:55Speaker 1: awsafe.net for more details. They are, of course, supporting the

- 23:07Speaker 1: Friday at 10 a.m. You can donate at dve.com or
- 23:12Speaker 1: you can text DVE Rocks to 34984 to make a
- 23:17Speaker 1: donation to the DVE Rocks Children's Radiothon. And thanks again
- 23:21Speaker 1: to our friends at Always Safe Flagging and Traffic Control
- 23:24Speaker 1: for supporting a great cause, Children's Hospital, and all they
- 23:28Speaker 1: do in the community. Let's get to a talkback message
- 23:30Speaker 1: here real quick before we milk some Steelers content. Talkback
- 23:33Speaker 1: messages brought to us by One Team Media. Mikey, Bob. Yeah?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Do you hear that?
- 23:40Speaker 13: Huh?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Like waves. Only means one thing. Vacation? Bobo's on vacation again. Oh,
- 23:46Speaker 1: my God. Bobo the mailman. Bobo the mailman. Bobo the
- 23:49Speaker 1: mailman sends us messages all the time, and most of
- 23:52Speaker 1: the time he's on vacation. It's incredible. Is he on
- 23:54Speaker 1: the beach again? It makes me want to be a
- 23:57Speaker 1: mail carrier. He takes a ton of vacation. I love it.
- 24:01Speaker 1: He deserves it, too. Me and Mrs.
- 24:03Speaker 20: Bobo, we're in the beautiful island of Barbados.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Oh, my God. We'll be back soon. I'll be trying
- 24:08Speaker 1: to catch up on the podcast. Yeah, all right. Wish
- 24:11Speaker 1: you were here. Yeah. Hey, did you see the, uh,
- 24:20Speaker 1: the Steelers put the video out of right after the
- 24:23Speaker 1: week one went against the Falcons in the locker room.
- 24:26Speaker 6: I love it.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Like I love it. I love it. There's so much
- 24:30Speaker 1: bad about social media, right? But there's moments like this
- 24:33Speaker 1: where you're like, all right, this is cool that we
- 24:35Speaker 1: actually get to see this stuff now because a lot
- 24:37Speaker 1: of the players were talking about it, that Mike McCarthy
- 24:40Speaker 1: got the game ball from Aaron Rodgers, and this is
- 24:43Speaker 1: what the Steelers' locker room was like after the win.
- 24:45Speaker 1: September football, it's usually bumpy like that. Let's give it
- 24:48Speaker 1: up for the defense. Enjoy this thing, okay? Enjoy it.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Enjoy your family.
- 24:54Speaker 1: TJ, give me a breakdown.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 24:57Speaker 1: He said, TJ, give me a breakdown, and then Aaron
- 24:59Speaker 1: Rodgers said, no, no, no.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Hold on, hold on.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I got a game ball for you, bud. This is
- 25:05Speaker 1: his first win in his hometown. He's from Greenfield Avenue.
- 25:08Speaker 6: This means a lot to him, okay? First win for
- 25:11Speaker 6: Pittsburgher and Mike McCarthy.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Thank you. <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>
- 25:43Speaker 1: After one week. How do you think Aaron Rodgers looks?
- 25:47Speaker 16: I think the biggest thing, he's 42 years old, and
- 25:50Speaker 16: for a human being to throw it that way is super,
- 25:53Speaker 16: super impressive.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Okay.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Flying in that thing. It also seems like Big Ben
- 25:58Speaker 1: is going to take that as you calling him out,
- 26:01Speaker 1: you know? He's going to say, 42, hold on. He's impressive.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I've been throwing balls at the tree in the backyard,
- 26:08Speaker 1: and Mike McCarthy wants to see. You want to see something?
- 26:10Speaker 1: You want to see a 40-year-old with a cannon? I
- 26:12Speaker 1: still got it.
- 26:13Speaker 16: I've had the benefit of seeing him. as a young guy, 21,
- 26:16Speaker 16: 22 years old. But he still throws it incredibly well.
- 26:20Speaker 1: It's Mike McCarthy talking about Aaron Rodgers' arm in his 40s.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Mike McCarthy was also asked about Darnell Washington stiff-arming a
- 26:34Speaker 1: man into the grass at Akershire. I'm sure that... I
- 26:38Speaker 1: think that guy might still be there. They got to
- 26:41Speaker 1: get that guy off the field for the Pitt-Syracuse game tonight.
- 26:43Speaker 1: They put in the new turf and whatnot out there.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Might have ate him. Dude, there's probably a divot at least.
- 26:49Speaker 1: So somebody asked, hey... You want to get Darnell involved
- 26:53Speaker 1: in the game a little bit earlier? Hey, can we
- 26:55Speaker 1: get more of that? This was Mike McCarthy's answer.
- 26:59Speaker 16: We didn't get him early enough because you went to
- 27:01Speaker 16: stiff arm in the first quarter.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Is that what you're telling us? It's like, hey, you
- 27:05Speaker 1: want a first quarter stiff arm there? You wanted to
- 27:07Speaker 1: get it out of the way earlier?
- 27:09Speaker 16: Yeah, we'll take it in every quarter. No, that was
- 27:10Speaker 16: an impressive play, but yeah, definitely. I mean, our ball
- 27:14Speaker 16: distribution wasn't quite high enough. We'd definitely like to get
- 27:17Speaker 16: all those guys, especially Darnell, more opportunities.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I get Darnell more opportunities to just bury smaller humans
- 27:24Speaker 1: into the earth as we milk, milk, milk, milk, milk
- 27:28Speaker 1: the Steelers content. Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the Steelers content.
- 27:33Speaker 1: By the way, no real update on Joey Porter Jr. No, nothing.
- 27:36Speaker 1: You know, he's practicing. He's like off the injured list, though.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Is he limited? He's limited, but yeah. So it's a
- 27:44Speaker 1: whole thing where now, yeah, okay. We know he's not injured,
- 27:47Speaker 1: but he's not playing because he doesn't have the big
- 27:49Speaker 1: fat contract that he wants, and we get it. Steelers
- 27:52Speaker 1: will be in New England taking on the Patriots. And
- 27:56Speaker 1: owner Robert Kraft, who has ruined the Ed Sheeran tour,
- 28:01Speaker 1: maybe gets his payback, you know? Big Darnell Washington. Yeah.
- 28:08Speaker 1: What if Darnell Washington is just a massive Macklemore fan?
- 28:12Speaker 1: And he's going to be looking for Robert Kraft. Seeking vengeance.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Just clothesline him. Just get my clothes. Start doing real
- 28:20Speaker 1: wrestling moves. All right. We've hit the part of the
- 28:24Speaker 1: show where Darnell Washington is now beating up an old
- 28:27Speaker 1: man on the sidelines. Why? Because he messed with Macklemore?
- 28:31Speaker 1: All right. We covered the Steelers a little bit different
- 28:36Speaker 1: on our show. A little bit. All right, limited commercials
- 28:38Speaker 1: this hour. Thanks to our friends at Always Safe Flagging
- 28:41Speaker 1: and Traffic Control supporting the DB Rocks Children's Radiothon. Also
- 28:45Speaker 1: got your chance at Wiz Khalifa tickets around 8.30 this morning.
- 28:48Speaker 1: It's Mikey and Bob. Tomorrow, it's Saturday night, 10.30, right
- 28:56Speaker 1: here on 96.1 KISS and on Disney Plus and Hulu.
- 28:59Speaker 1: It's our iHeartRadio Music Festival, live from Vegas. Let's see.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Tomorrow night, you get BTS, Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls,
- 29:07Speaker 1: Kenny Chesney, Weezer, and Zara Larson. Saturday night, you're going
- 29:10Speaker 1: to get Benson Boone, Laney Wilson, Ciara, LaSara Fim, Major Lazer, Muse,
- 29:15Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg, Smashing Pumpkins, and Stella Lefty. It's all brought
- 29:18Speaker 1: to us by Capital One. Dude, is Bonix with Snoop Dogg?
- 29:22Speaker 1: I think he is. I talked to, uh, our friend
- 29:25Speaker 1: DJ Bonix, who is like one of our best friends
- 29:28Speaker 1: in the world. Wiz Khalifa's DJ, but he also DJs
- 29:31Speaker 1: for Snoop Dogg here and there when like Snoop's DJs
- 29:34Speaker 1: got something going on. I think Bonix is with Snoop Dogg.
- 29:38Speaker 1: So great on, uh, on, on Saturday night.
- 29:41Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 1: When I was talking to him though, he's like, yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 1: I'm ready for it. But also like Snoop, like at
- 29:47Speaker 1: the last minute could be like, Oh no, I have
- 29:49Speaker 1: this DJ that's coming in anyway. So, but he's like,
- 29:53Speaker 1: It looks like I might. He's ready to go if needed. Yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 1: that'll be pretty cool to see him up there with
- 29:57Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg on Saturday night. Also, the MTV VMAs are
- 30:02Speaker 1: coming up towards the end of the month. And again,
- 30:05Speaker 1: we've talked about this before. VMAs used to be a
- 30:07Speaker 1: huge thing on MTV. It used to be like pop culture,
- 30:09Speaker 1: just everything. Must watch. Madonna is going to perform at
- 30:14Speaker 1: the VMAs. For the first time in 23 years. Oh, wow.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Sends her kiss with Britney and Christina Aguilera in 2003.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't really know if Madonna brings the, well,
- 30:26Speaker 1: we're going to have a couple extra million now, right? Yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 1: I don't think so. Not a real big shock and awe,
- 30:32Speaker 1: but the VMAs have sort of... Sort of past their
- 30:36Speaker 1: expiration date, I think. All right, let's get to a
- 30:38Speaker 1: couple talkback messages here. You can send them through the
- 30:40Speaker 1: free iHeartRadio app. Talkback messages brought to us by The
- 30:43Speaker 1: Pavement Group. Of course, the big deal yesterday was there's
- 30:48Speaker 1: a super load coming through western Pennsylvania. It was like
- 30:53Speaker 1: one big, giant truck hauling a bunch of stuff, hard-to-make
- 30:58Speaker 1: turns for power plants and stuff. I only saw it
- 31:02Speaker 1: on the news, but it looked like an oversized car.
- 31:05Speaker 1: load like you would see on 79 it wasn't the
- 31:08Speaker 1: super load did not impress me i thought i was
- 31:11Speaker 1: gonna be blown away convoy yeah of some kind i
- 31:15Speaker 1: thought i was gonna be blown away all right let's.

- 31:38Speaker 1: It's Johnny the Family Trucker, and the super load is here.
- 31:43Speaker 1: The super load is here. Oh, who doesn't love a
- 31:49Speaker 1: super load?
- 31:51Speaker 4: Woo!
- 31:52Speaker 1: Yes! And grown ninjas are asking me to honk the horn.
- 31:58Speaker 13: And they're dancing.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Woo!
- 32:01Speaker 1: Super load! I'm telling you, dude, these truckers, I don't
- 32:05Speaker 1: know why they're here, but they're here.
- 32:07Speaker 6: I love it.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I love it. All right, let's get to another talkback
- 32:11Speaker 1: message here. It's our friend Aunt Kaka. Love Aunt Kaka.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Let's see what she's up to.
- 32:15Speaker 17: Hi, boys.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It's Aunt Kaka.
- 32:19Speaker 21: I have some very exciting news to share.
- 32:21Speaker 10: I learned today that I am going to be a
- 32:25Speaker 10: part of AHN's mock mass casualty training.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, they're doing that thing, AHN. They're doing that
- 32:33Speaker 1: mass casualty. Oh, yeah, yeah, I remember that. So they need, like,
- 32:35Speaker 1: people to play victims and stuff.
- 32:37Speaker 10: For the Department of Emergency Medicine.
- 32:39Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 32:39Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 32:40Speaker 10: I am so freaking excited.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Excited to play in a MASH casualty event?
- 32:47Speaker 13: All right.
- 32:48Speaker 10: They're bringing in professional makeup artists to make it look
- 32:51Speaker 10: like we were part of a MASH casualty event. I
- 32:54Speaker 10: literally hope that they turn me into a black tag
- 32:56Speaker 10: patient and my makeup is just bananas crazy. Like, I
- 33:02Speaker 10: want every part of my body messed up and I
- 33:04Speaker 10: just want to be in crazy clothes.
- 33:08Speaker 19: Crazy gore okay my gut's hanging out listen whoever's putting
- 33:13Speaker 19: on the mash casualty event you got an mvp candidate
- 33:17Speaker 19: she's ready she's ready to do it all you.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Want a blood gore all over so excited she wants
- 33:23Speaker 1: a missing leg she wants bloody arms she wants her
- 33:26Speaker 1: eyeballs popped out she wants all of.
- 33:28Speaker 10: It uh just because i'm telling myself that i'm on
- 33:31Speaker 10: the pit i'm not actually on.
- 33:32Speaker 1: The yeah it's not this is not for the pit
- 33:35Speaker 1: this is not it's not a thing that's going to
- 33:36Speaker 1: be part of the pit this is just so the

- 33:41Speaker 1: they're doing yeah it's not for the pit this.
- 33:45Speaker 10: Is like a real training for doctors but yeah it's
- 33:48Speaker 10: the closest i'm ever going to get to being on
- 33:50Speaker 10: the pit so i'm just telling.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Myself that aunt kaka is ready to put on a
- 33:54Speaker 1: performance as he's not lying as a dead or bloody

- 34:17Speaker 1: the world like ant caca we're excited saying hey do
- 34:20Speaker 1: some makeup on me give me a little bit of
- 34:22Speaker 1: gore i'll be as dead as you want me to
- 34:24Speaker 1: be Wiz Khalifa tickets coming up around 8.30 this morning.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Stick around for that. Limited commercials in the 7 a.m.
- 34:32Speaker 1: hour here brought to us by our friends at Always
- 34:34Speaker 1: Safe Flagging and Traffic Control. AWSafe.net is their website. They
- 34:39Speaker 1: are supporting our friends over at DVE and the DV
- 34:42Speaker 1: Rocks Children's Radiothon.
- 34:44Speaker 8: 96.1.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Yeah!
- 34:50Speaker 1: Thanks again to our friends at Always Safe Flagging and
- 34:53Speaker 1: Traffic Control for the limited commercial interruptions here in the
- 34:56Speaker 1: 7 a.m.
- 34:56Speaker 13: Hour.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And they just do a great job of supporting the
- 35:00Speaker 1: community and supporting the DV Rocks Children's Radiothon that's going
- 35:04Speaker 1: on right now on 1025 WDVE until 10 a.m. Friday morning.
- 35:09Speaker 1: You can make a donation. Go to dve.com. Get all
- 35:12Speaker 1: the info for the DV Rocks Children's Radiothon. Help and
- 35:16Speaker 1: support the kids and families over there. at Children's Hospital.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And thanks again, everybody. I'd always say flagging and traffic control.
- 35:23Speaker 1: for all their support in what they do. Again, if
- 35:26Speaker 1: you are looking for some more details or possibly to
- 35:29Speaker 1: get a job with them, awsafe.net is the website. It's
- 35:35Speaker 1: Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. It seems like
- 35:39Speaker 1: there's a lot going on today. We got the Pens
- 35:42Speaker 1: training camp. They're starting today around 8.45, the first session.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Penguins hockey is back in our lives, even though it's
- 35:49Speaker 1: just training camp up there in Cranberry. Still a little
- 35:51Speaker 1: Let's Go Pens. A little bit of Let's Go Pens.
- 35:53Speaker 1: You got 1235 afternoon Thursday Buccos game taking on the Brewers.
- 35:59Speaker 1: It's dollar dog day, too. You should have a full
- 36:03Speaker 1: yinz or Thursday. Make yourself sick at the Bucco game.
- 36:06Speaker 1: And then 730, go over to Akershire. Pitt's taking on
- 36:10Speaker 1: Syracuse Thursday night. You know, college football is there's not
- 36:14Speaker 1: a lot of college football. That's on Thursday night. So
- 36:16Speaker 1: there's going to be a lot of eyes on Pittsburgh.
- 36:18Speaker 1: and the Pitt-Syracuse game tonight. Also, one show that I'm
- 36:23Speaker 1: getting close to watching. The Traders on NBC. New season
- 36:27Speaker 1: of that starts. That was a show that was only
- 36:29Speaker 1: on Peacock, and then it, like, cooked on Peacock, and
- 36:31Speaker 1: they're like, oh, man, we should put this on the
- 36:34Speaker 1: big NBC, right? They're doing it with regular people. Yeah,
- 36:37Speaker 1: they usually had celebrities, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, mixed
- 36:40Speaker 1: in with regular people. I mean, it was like Dancing
- 36:42Speaker 1: with the Stars-level celebrities, but yeah. Yeah, yeah. Isn't that
- 36:45Speaker 1: some of the draw of that show, though? I thought
- 36:48Speaker 1: it was, but then again, they see, they probably, dude,
- 36:51Speaker 1: All these shows see shows like Survivor and Big Brother
- 36:54Speaker 1: and shows that have been on for like 30, 40 seasons. Yeah,
- 36:56Speaker 1: it's true. And just go, we need one of those.
- 36:59Speaker 1: It's so weird how all the streaming services work now
- 37:01Speaker 1: because it's all just asset acquisition. It's like, okay, the traders, well,
- 37:07Speaker 1: we got something here. We need to make 50 seasons
- 37:11Speaker 1: of this.
- 37:12Speaker 13: Yep.
- 37:12Speaker 1: People love that show, though. I haven't tapped in. I
- 37:17Speaker 1: kind of caught the end of last season.
- 37:19Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 37:20Speaker 1: But yeah, I think it's going to work with regular people.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Yesterday was Ted Lasso day for me on Apple TV.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I'm locked into the new season. It's good. You know,
- 37:31Speaker 1: it's good. I'm not going to say that Ted Lasso
- 37:34Speaker 1: is just a show that's needed. It's just a show
- 37:37Speaker 1: that's needed because you're always going to get good vibes
- 37:39Speaker 1: from Ted Lasso. I'm not going to pretend like I
- 37:41Speaker 1: watched past season two. Like I did. I just did.
- 37:44Speaker 6: Ted Lasso.
- 37:45Speaker 1: It fit perfectly in that pandemic at home.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:49Speaker 1: The like great feel good show. Yeah. Filled that for
- 37:53Speaker 1: me perfectly.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Because the world's such a much better place now in 2020. Oh,
- 37:58Speaker 1: Ted Lasso. I tapped out. I tapped out. Watch the
- 38:03Speaker 1: news this week or something like that. Watch 15 minutes
- 38:07Speaker 1: of the news, and then you'll be like, you know what?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Maybe we do need Ted Lasso in our lives. Maybe
- 38:13Speaker 1: you need me to tap back in with Ted Lasso.
- 38:15Speaker 1: All right, we got Wiz Khalifa tickets coming up around 8.30.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Coming up next, though, TJ Watt was on Cam Hayward's podcast.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Not only are they talking about TJ's pick six interception
- 38:29Speaker 1: in the seeds of that pick six were planted before
- 38:32Speaker 1: the season. And then Cam was talking to TJ about
- 38:36Speaker 1: being a dad. And there's some poopoo peepee talk. And
- 38:40Speaker 1: let me tell you, when there's two Steelers legends talking
- 38:43Speaker 1: about poop and pee, where do you think that's going
- 38:47Speaker 1: to end up? Guaranteed to make our show. Guaranteed. Guaranteed. Poop, boo,
- 38:54Speaker 1: and pee-pee doesn't sneak by us. Especially when it has
- 38:57Speaker 1: to do with them stores. So we will get to
- 38:59Speaker 1: that coming up next. It's Mikey and Bob.
- 39:01Speaker 13: I can't move.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Left the uh station yesterday walked out to my purple
- 39:08Speaker 1: jeep gladiator that i got thanks to our friends at
- 39:11Speaker 1: the c harper auto group the official sponsor of the
- 39:13Speaker 1: mikey and bob podcast and there is a uh there's
- 39:17Speaker 1: a duck sitting right on the hood of my car
- 39:20Speaker 1: it's a dolly parton duck the dolly duck's awesome oh
- 39:24Speaker 1: it's incredible the dolly duck is awesome It might be
- 39:27Speaker 1: the best duck I have. So whoever dropped off the
- 39:31Speaker 1: Dolly Parton duck, thank you. I didn't know they made
- 39:33Speaker 1: ducks like that. We also have an entire bag of
- 39:36Speaker 1: rubber ducks that were dropped off by Partners for Quality Foundation.
- 39:40Speaker 1: They do that Steel City Duck Derby thing. Allegheny Commons Park. Oh, yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 1: Tall Cathy's part of that. Yeah, it's in like May
- 39:48Speaker 1: of next year. But they just had a bunch of
- 39:50Speaker 1: ducks sitting around going, hey, all right, those guys like
- 39:53Speaker 1: ducks now? Send them. And, of course, we have our
- 39:57Speaker 1: Mikey and Bob ducks from the Sea Harper Auto Group.
- 39:59Speaker 1: And if you drive a Jeep, you might end up
- 40:01Speaker 1: with a Mikey and Bob duck because we just sort
- 40:02Speaker 1: of carry them around and place them on Jeeps. I
- 40:05Speaker 1: got a serious question. Okay. Are you worried about acquiring
- 40:08Speaker 1: too many ducks? Ducks? No, because I switch them out
- 40:13Speaker 1: of the rotation. So when a new duck comes along,
- 40:16Speaker 1: there's only so many ducks you can have on your Jeep.
- 40:19Speaker 1: When a new duck comes along, one's out of the rotation.
- 40:23Speaker 1: So like something like the Dolly Parton duck. I mean,
- 40:25Speaker 1: the Dolly duck. That's never leaving. Crown jewel. Never leaving
- 40:28Speaker 1: the dash. There's a couple other Yinzer ducks I got there.
- 40:31Speaker 1: One with a traffic cone. I got one with like
- 40:34Speaker 1: a Stuller's helmet on. So there's some quality ducks that
- 40:37Speaker 1: aren't going to leave. You know, I'm not worried about
- 40:40Speaker 1: getting too many ducks. You want to milk some Steelers
- 40:42Speaker 1: content here, Bob? Sure. Steelers, of course, will be in
- 40:45Speaker 1: New England taking out the Patriots on Sunday. It's time
- 40:48Speaker 1: to milk some Steelers content here. Cam Hayward had TJ
- 40:52Speaker 1: Watt on his Not Just Football podcast talking about that
- 40:57Speaker 1: beautiful interception in pick six that TJ had against the
- 41:02Speaker 1: Falcons and They were already sort of talking about this
- 41:06Speaker 1: happening before the season.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Me and you were watching film during camp, and we
- 41:10Speaker 2: had watched Julius Peppers, and we were watching your brother.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 2: You had said, I don't have a pick six on
- 41:16Speaker 2: my resume yet. And how the hell does that happen
- 41:19Speaker 2: week one?
- 41:19Speaker 1: Yeah, week one. They're watching film before the season. J.J. Watt. Wait,
- 41:26Speaker 1: they talked about this happening before it happened? Yeah, talked
- 41:29Speaker 1: about it happening, and then week one it happens.
- 41:31Speaker 2: And we watched this, and it's a beautiful play, dude.
- 41:34Speaker 2: What was going through your mind in that moment?
- 41:36Speaker 5: It's one of those things, man, you never know when
- 41:37Speaker 5: those moments are going to come.
- 41:38Speaker 15: I don't know, it's always things. I wish I had
- 41:40Speaker 15: some fancy answer for you, but I just threw my
- 41:42Speaker 15: hands up. And anytime it's a check down like that,
- 41:45Speaker 15: they're not throwing it incredibly hard, you know that.
- 41:47Speaker 5: So I'm just trying to throw my hands up, and
- 41:49Speaker 5: it just stuck.
- 41:50Speaker 15: No bobble or anything, and momentum took me down, and
- 41:53Speaker 15: I wish I had you there blocking with me, but
- 41:55Speaker 15: you had other priorities.
- 41:57Speaker 1: All right, so hold on. You got to see the
- 41:58Speaker 1: video of Cam Hayward on the TJ Watt pick six
- 42:03Speaker 1: because Cam Hayward does not really block for TJ. It
- 42:06Speaker 1: just kind of hangs out. He sees there's four or
- 42:09Speaker 1: five guys that got TJ Watt.
- 42:10Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 42:11Speaker 1: He points. Dude, I love that TJ's just talking. TJ
- 42:14Speaker 1: talks about stuff like this much like when Sidney Crosby
- 42:17Speaker 1: scores a ridiculous goal. Yeah. And it's just like, this
- 42:21Speaker 1: is what I do. He's like, it's no big deal.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I just kind of threw my hands up. Like, it's
- 42:27Speaker 1: the easiest thing. I don't know. Put my hands up.
- 42:29Speaker 1: The ball just sort of stuck there. That's crazy. Crazy
- 42:32Speaker 1: is play a week one. Again, this is more of
- 42:36Speaker 1: TJ Watt on Cam Hayward's Not Just Football podcast as
- 42:40Speaker 1: we melt, melt, melt, melt, melt the Steelers content. You
- 42:46Speaker 1: going to tell that story? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 42:48Speaker 5: It's on film. The film is your walking, talking resume, brother.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Well, I was definitely walking, I tell you that, because
- 42:53Speaker 2: I saw you at the end zone, and I was like,
- 42:55Speaker 2: I got to get ready for field goal.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Yeah, Cam Hayward's still on field goal unit, so he's like, ah,
- 43:00Speaker 1: I need to run down there. He's got like four
- 43:02Speaker 1: or five other guys, so I see in the video,
- 43:04Speaker 1: Cam's just pointing. There he goes, take to the house there, TJ.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And then, of course, TJ Watt, he's, aren't they expecting
- 43:13Speaker 1: their second kid now? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was like
- 43:16Speaker 1: this week news, right? Yeah, earlier, I think, this week. Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 1: you're right. TJ's dad, right? So, of course, Cam's sitcom dad,
- 43:24Speaker 1: Cam Hayward. Little dad chat. Yeah, little dad chat. Talking
- 43:27Speaker 1: on the Cam Hayward Not Just Football podcast. It's Cam
- 43:30Speaker 1: and TJ Watt talking dad stuff.
- 43:32Speaker 2: What's the one thing that surprised you about being a dad?
- 43:35Speaker 5: How much they'd freaking poop and pee.
- 43:36Speaker 1: That's right. You're never really prepared for that. It's just
- 43:42Speaker 1: like this machine that produces just excrement. It's so much.
- 43:47Speaker 1: TJ Watts is dealing with diaper blowouts.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Diaper blowouts are just the worst. It's like, you mean
- 43:54Speaker 1: to tell me this little thing just pushed one time
- 43:57Speaker 1: and this brown violence came out?
- 44:03Speaker 5: I wasn't expecting to be trying to potty train and
- 44:05Speaker 5: all of a sudden just like take the diaper off
- 44:07Speaker 5: and now we have pee on the kitchen floor. I'm like,
- 44:09Speaker 5: what the heck is going on here?
- 44:10Speaker 1: You know, they're famous. They're rich. They're stillers. Dad chat, man.
- 44:15Speaker 1: But they're just like us. Our kids are peeing and
- 44:19Speaker 1: pooping all over the place. Everybody does it. Everybody does it.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Cam Hayward, TJ Watt. Catch up with Cam on the
- 44:27Speaker 1: Not Just Football podcast as we milk, milk, milk, milk,
- 44:30Speaker 1: milk the Steelers content. Milk, milk, milk, milk, milk the
- 44:34Speaker 1: Steelers content.
- 44:35Speaker 4: 96.1 KISS.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Woo! The Mikey and Bob Podcast. There's book smarts, there's
- 44:41Speaker 1: like street smarts, and then there's a completely different kind
- 44:44Speaker 1: of thing that we teach people here somehow. And a
- 44:47Speaker 1: degree in Mikey and Bob's smarts will get you a
- 44:50Speaker 1: job nowhere.
- 44:51Speaker 8: Stream the Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
- 44:56Speaker 8: you get your podcasts.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Before we get to say something nice, let's get to
- 45:00Speaker 1: this talkback message brought to us by One Team Media.
- 45:03Speaker 13: Holy shit, this storm is freaking crazy.
- 45:07Speaker 10: Lightning just struck, like, seriously 100.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Feet away from me.
- 45:12Speaker 4: On 51.
- 45:13Speaker 3: And I'm not.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Sure if there's going to be electricity down here anymore.
- 45:17Speaker 1: It was all taken away. All right. Have a great day.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Hope you guys stay safe. Stay dry, because I'm not dry.
- 45:23Speaker 5: At all.
- 45:24Speaker 13: I'm wet, and I got to go to work.
- 45:25Speaker 1: That's not good. Love you.
- 45:26Speaker 19: Have a great day.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Bye. Okay, yeah. It's stormy out there today. It ain't
- 45:30Speaker 1: going to be a great day. Just showers and storms
- 45:32Speaker 1: throughout the day. Highs near 80 degrees. Now it's time
- 45:36Speaker 1: to say something nice. This is where we take your
- 45:38Speaker 1: talkback messages at any time. If you got something nice
- 45:41Speaker 1: to say to someone or something. There's a lot of
- 45:43Speaker 1: bad stuff going on in the world. Just try to
- 45:45Speaker 1: bring some positivity. It's time to.
- 45:47Speaker 4: Ooh, wee!
- 45:50Speaker 1: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 45:53Speaker 13: Good morning, Purple Haze and Donut Blaze.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Okay. Great names. Might be the best all time. I
- 46:00Speaker 1: know we've had great nicknames.
- 46:01Speaker 19: Great.
- 46:02Speaker 1: But Purple Haze and Donut Glaze is nicknames for me
- 46:06Speaker 1: and Bob Cheese. I mean, that's tag team level stuff
- 46:10Speaker 1: right there. Purple Haze and Donut Glaze.
- 46:12Speaker 13: Good morning, Purple Haze and Donut Glaze. This is Mara
- 46:15Speaker 13: from Greensburg. And I just wanted to ooo-wee.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Say something nice.
- 46:20Speaker 13: Say something nice.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Oh, wait a minute. You want to do a little bit? Ooo-wee.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 46:32Speaker 13: To my wonderful husband, today is our 10-year wedding anniversary.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Oh, congratulations. Oh, wow. 10 years of wedded bliss.
- 46:38Speaker 10: An awesome husband, an awesome dad, and just an all-around awesome, amazing,
- 46:43Speaker 10: incredible person.
- 46:44Speaker 13: So, happy anniversary, honey. I can't believe we got married
- 46:47Speaker 13: on Bob's birthday, too.
- 46:48Speaker 6: I mean.
- 46:49Speaker 13: Birthdayversary twins.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I didn't know it. It's not today. Happy 10th anniversary
- 46:55Speaker 1: to you. It's not Bob's birthday. That's New Year's Day.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Say something nice. Say something nice. Morning, fellas. Cornhole Joe here.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'd like to say something nice. Say something nice. Say
- 47:13Speaker 1: something nice and sultry about Cornhole Joe's voice. Say something nice.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Say something nice.
- 47:23Speaker 11: This Say Something Nice goes out to Bridget for Discover Card.
- 47:28Speaker 11: She was a customer service rep, helped me out, got
- 47:30Speaker 11: me a new card. I feel like sometimes customer service
- 47:33Speaker 11: reps don't get a lot of love. So, Bridget, thank
- 47:36Speaker 11: you for your time and appreciate you.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Wait a minute. Is Bridget the one lady who's in
- 47:43Speaker 1: the Discover card commercials, you know what I'm talking about,
- 47:45Speaker 1: where she's, like, talking to herself? You think Cornhole Joe
- 47:48Speaker 1: actually got her on the line? Yeah, I think that's
- 47:51Speaker 1: who it was.
- 47:51Speaker 6: Wow.
- 47:52Speaker 1: I think it's the lady from the commercials. Yeah. That's
- 47:54Speaker 1: why I wanted to say something nice, because he got
- 47:56Speaker 1: to talk to the Discover card lady in the commercials.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Got right through to her? I think maybe that's what happened.
- 48:06Speaker 1: say something nice say something nice just a tiny monsoon
- 48:13Speaker 1: happening outside this morning we are getting uh showers and
- 48:16Speaker 1: storms throughout the day today it's going to be wet
- 48:19Speaker 1: highs near uh 80 degrees Hey, congrats to Megan from Monaca.
- 48:23Speaker 1: She is going to be going to see Wiz Khalifa
- 48:25Speaker 1: in a couple weeks here. Friday, October 2nd. Wiz is
- 48:28Speaker 1: playing the brand new venue, Citizens Live at the Wiley.
- 48:32Speaker 1: We'll have more tickets to go see Wiz Khalifa tomorrow
- 48:35Speaker 1: morning around 8.30. It is Mikey and Bob here on
- 48:38Speaker 1: 96.1 KISS. Let's get to another talkback message. All you

- 48:47Speaker 1: and the Mikey and Bob podcast. Hit the talkback microphone
- 48:50Speaker 1: and send us a message. Get on the show. Talkback
- 48:53Speaker 1: messages brought to us by One Team Media.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Guess what, Bob?
- 48:56Speaker 13: There is a game on your birthday.
- 48:57Speaker 1: So guess what?
- 48:58Speaker 16: The Pens are going to have to do a happy
- 49:01Speaker 16: birthday Bob bobblehead or something like.
- 49:03Speaker 13: That for you.
- 49:04Speaker 1: No, they're not going to do that. They're not going
- 49:07Speaker 1: to do it. They already released their schedule, their promotional schedule.
- 49:11Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Bob. Terrible towel. Terrible towel.
- 49:14Speaker 13: That's a good idea from teacher, friend Steve.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Steve?
- 49:19Speaker 13: I don't know, the one that's up in Mars.
- 49:21Speaker 1: All right, love you, bye. Okay, all right. Maybe it's
- 49:24Speaker 1: a hidden menu item. Maybe my birthday celebration is a hidden... Yeah,
- 49:31Speaker 1: you don't know that. It is New Year's Day, 6 o'clock.
- 49:34Speaker 1: They play the Minnesota Wild at home. Oh, my gosh.
- 49:37Speaker 1: There's a Penguins game on your birthday. Hop on a
- 49:39Speaker 1: little bit. Let's go, Pens. What are the Penguins going
- 49:41Speaker 1: to do to celebrate you? Birthday, Pens. Birthday, Pens. It's
- 49:46Speaker 1: the best time of the year, girl. Birthday, Pens. Birthday, Pens.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Let's get to Sidney Crosby now. What is happening? Sidney
- 49:55Speaker 1: Crosby was doing an interview with Elliot Friedman, right? Who
- 50:00Speaker 1: just covers the NHL. And he was asking Sid about
- 50:05Speaker 1: his belt. Now, I don't think he's talking about a
- 50:08Speaker 1: belt that keeps your pants up. I think he's talking
- 50:11Speaker 1: about Sid's lucky jockstrap that we all know about here
- 50:14Speaker 1: in Pittsburgh. The one that's been sitting in the back
- 50:16Speaker 1: corner of his locker that you see in all the
- 50:19Speaker 1: locker room interviews that he does. The one that slowly
- 50:23Speaker 1: turned from white to a grayish color. It looks like
- 50:28Speaker 1: the gray. just it's it's brown and gray it looks
- 50:33Speaker 1: like it's fed through some dirty rainwater colored yeah it's
- 50:37Speaker 1: uh you know that gray snow yeah that's what it's
- 50:40Speaker 1: like yeah it's uh so um he wasn't too sure
- 50:45Speaker 1: if he should ask sydney crosby about the belt as
- 50:50Speaker 1: he calls it but he ends up doing it as
- 50:52Speaker 1: the last question he asked to sit.
- 50:53Speaker 16: Okay last one for me this one could be a
- 50:55Speaker 16: disaster i'm not sure if someone what someone told me
- 50:57Speaker 16: is actually the truth do you have a lucky belt Yeah.
- 51:01Speaker 1: You do?
- 51:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:02Speaker 1: This is true?
- 51:03Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 51:03Speaker 1: All right. Now, Sid's face, when he gets asked about
- 51:07Speaker 1: the lucky belt, he's like... He doesn't want to talk
- 51:11Speaker 1: about it, I don't think. Give him a smile like,
- 51:13Speaker 1: all right. Yeah. Okay. You know I got a lucky belt? Yeah. Okay.
- 51:16Speaker 1: And again, I don't think this is a belt that
- 51:18Speaker 1: keeps your pants up. I think this is like hockey talking,
- 51:20Speaker 1: like this is the giant strap. Tell me about it.
- 51:22Speaker 22: We don't really need to go more than that, but
- 51:24Speaker 22: I'll confirm it. I've heard you've had a belt that
- 51:27Speaker 22: you wear on game days for like 20 years.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Is that true? Could be. Yeah, could be. All right,
- 51:33Speaker 1: so Sid doesn't even want to. Sid's just smiling and uncomfortable.
- 51:37Speaker 1: He is, because he doesn't want to let everybody know
- 51:39Speaker 1: he's been wearing the same jockstrap for 20 years, right?
- 51:42Speaker 22: You've got to give us more than that. I'm not
- 51:46Speaker 22: going there. I don't talk about the belt much, but, yeah,
- 51:49Speaker 22: I mean, that's not. You're on to something. You get
- 51:51Speaker 22: every scoop on everything. You're finding out about my belt.
- 51:54Speaker 1: That's unbelievable. I swear to God, I thought someone was
- 51:59Speaker 1: setting me up to look bad.
- 52:00Speaker 2: No, no.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Really? Is that the only clothing item that has stood
- 52:05Speaker 1: the test of time? Yeah. It's still hanging on. See,
- 52:08Speaker 1: so that's how I know they're talking about the jockstrap
- 52:10Speaker 1: and not an actual belt. Because he's asked at the end,
- 52:13Speaker 1: is that the only piece of clothing item or whatever
- 52:16Speaker 1: they're hanging on to? And we all know Sid's got
- 52:19Speaker 1: that nasty jockstrap that just... I love that it's just
- 52:22Speaker 1: a one-on-one sit-down with these guys, and it's just like
- 52:25Speaker 1: he has no escape. He's got to answer about his jockstrap.
- 52:29Speaker 1: He's so uncomfortable.
- 52:30Speaker 17: He is.
- 52:30Speaker 1: It's great. He's so uncomfortable talking about it. Don't ask
- 52:34Speaker 1: about it. Oh, man. Can you imagine if there was a...
- 52:39Speaker 1: big Bob belt giveaway on new year's day. Oh my God.
- 52:44Speaker 1: And from now until new year's, you wear a different
- 52:47Speaker 1: jock strap every day. So it's like a game worn piece.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 52:51Speaker 6: Wow.
- 52:52Speaker 1: All right. Penguins. Let's go pens. Hey, who owns it now? Hey,
- 52:56Speaker 1: Hoffman family. We haven't met you yet, but we got
- 52:59Speaker 1: an idea.
- 53:00Speaker 13: Okay.
- 53:01Speaker 1: We're going to need to order three months worth of
- 53:03Speaker 1: jock straps, but let me tell you, you are going
- 53:06Speaker 1: to sell out new year's day. Penguins are back at
- 53:10Speaker 1: camp today, by the way, up in Cranberry. How about
- 53:14Speaker 1: a little bit of Let's Go Pens, man? Thank you
- 53:19Speaker 1: again to everybody at the C Harper auto group, the
- 53:22Speaker 1: official sponsor of our Mikey and Bob podcast. Also, thank
- 53:25Speaker 1: you to the random person who left a Dolly Parton
- 53:29Speaker 1: duck on my purple Jeep gladiator from C Harper auto group.
- 53:34Speaker 1: That is now part of the duck collection that I
- 53:37Speaker 1: have going. It's Mikey and Bob here on 96 one kiss.
- 53:41Speaker 1: We got our I heart radio music festival coming up
- 53:43Speaker 1: tomorrow night. I'm talking about this thing for like three months.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It's time.
- 53:47Speaker 1: It's time. Finally here. That'll be tomorrow and Saturday night.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Got to stay up late. Get your coffee. 1030. It
- 53:53Speaker 1: starts out in Vegas. iHeartRadio Music Festival tomorrow and Saturday night. 1030.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Presented by Capital One. Bob, Steelers are going to New
- 54:03Speaker 1: England to take on the Patriots, right? That's right. And
- 54:06Speaker 1: our quarterback, of course, it's Aaron Rodgers. Whatever you feel
- 54:10Speaker 1: about him, he is the Steelers quarterback right now. And
- 54:13Speaker 1: when Aaron Rodgers talks, we get the X-Files music out because...
- 54:19Speaker 1: It's a little out there. He was asked how he feels.
- 54:24Speaker 1: How's that 40-year-old arm feel after one week?
- 54:27Speaker 20: I feel really good. Legs feel good. Feel good moving around.
- 54:30Speaker 20: I feel like I'm just going to keep on getting better.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Makes you wonder if he's got some sort of secret
- 54:39Speaker 1: powers to keep that arm going, right? He was then
- 54:43Speaker 1: asked about the wide receiver targets, how many times he
- 54:47Speaker 1: targeted different receivers, and specifically Roman Wilson.
- 54:52Speaker 6: I don't give a shit about the target list. I
- 54:54Speaker 6: don't care about any of that. I love Roman. I
- 54:57Speaker 6: think he's done a great job.
- 54:58Speaker 20: There's going to be a player, too, that he makes
- 55:01Speaker 20: that allows him to take what I thought he played
- 55:03Speaker 20: fast last week.
- 55:04Speaker 6: I thought he played decisive, and I think he's just
- 55:06Speaker 6: going to keep on getting better.
- 55:07Speaker 5: Why do you not give a bleep about the target list?
- 55:10Speaker 6: Because the ball goes to the open guy.
- 55:12Speaker 20: I don't want to hear people talking about– nobody in
- 55:15Speaker 20: the locker room talks about their targets. So that's all
- 55:17Speaker 20: for you guys to talk about. Hey, I love that answer.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I actually do. Like, whatever version of Aaron Rodgers that is,
- 55:25Speaker 1: I like that version of Aaron Rodgers where he's, hey,
- 55:28Speaker 1: what about Roman Wilson's targets? Nobody gives a bleep about
- 55:31Speaker 1: targets a lot. It's like, you see all these guys?
- 55:33Speaker 1: Nobody's counting targets. One of my favorite things is Steelers players,
- 55:37Speaker 1: especially the veterans, being asked about Darnell Washington stiff-arming a
- 55:42Speaker 1: dude into the grass at Akershire. I love that they
- 55:46Speaker 1: get so giddy talking about Darnell Washington. Here is Aaron
- 55:51Speaker 1: Rodgers talking about my Washington. Darnell.
- 55:58Speaker 20: He is an absolute load. Every time he has a
- 56:01Speaker 20: chance to turn on the fender.
- 56:02Speaker 1: A load. A load. Is he super load? He's the
- 56:06Speaker 1: super load. Dude, what if that big super load that's
- 56:09Speaker 1: coming through, it was just Darnell on a tractor trailer.
- 56:12Speaker 1: That was the whole thing. Darnell, a.k.a. the super load.
- 56:15Speaker 6: All right. It's going to be a rough day for
- 56:18Speaker 6: that defensive guy.
- 56:19Speaker 5: Is it an excitement that goes through you when you
- 56:21Speaker 5: know you have him?
- 56:22Speaker 6: Of course.
- 56:23Speaker 1: See, this is what I'm talking about. Somebody asked, like,
- 56:25Speaker 1: You get a little excited when Darnell gets the ball.
- 56:27Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, of course. Like, Aaron Rodgers is smiling.
- 56:29Speaker 1: He's giddy.
- 56:30Speaker 20: I didn't predetermine that third down late in the game,
- 56:32Speaker 20: but I was thinking, you know, I was almost hoping
- 56:34Speaker 20: the flat wasn't, like, kind of open because I just
- 56:37Speaker 20: felt like Darnell was going to be wide open on
- 56:39Speaker 20: the backside, and then I just wanted to get it
- 56:41Speaker 20: to him.
- 56:41Speaker 6: And I just, like, watched what happened.
- 56:44Speaker 1: See? They're just laughing about it. And, like, yeah, get
- 56:46Speaker 1: the ball in his hands and just watch what happens.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Every guy on the team is just like, as soon
- 56:52Speaker 1: as Darnell touches the ball, everybody's just like, Everybody's just like, oh, oh, oh.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Here it comes. It's going to do something. Aaron Rodgers
- 57:00Speaker 1: was also asked about his arm. That arm's got some
- 57:08Speaker 1: miles on it. It does.
- 57:10Speaker 6: For me, yeah, totally. Totally sustainable.
- 57:13Speaker 5: Did you tell Mike that?
- 57:14Speaker 1: Or has he known that for 20 years?
- 57:16Speaker 6: That it's sustainable?
- 57:17Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 57:18Speaker 6: Oh, he knows. He knows.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Is the arm strength sustainable?
- 57:26Speaker 21: Uh-huh.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Can he throw? Can he continue to throw? Does Coach know?
- 57:32Speaker 1: Did he tell McCarthy about that? Oh, he knows. Oh,
- 57:36Speaker 1: he knows. He knows about the arm. What else does
- 57:39Speaker 1: he know? He knows. I bet Mike McCarthy knows about
- 57:47Speaker 1: secret tunnels in Greenfield. It was part of the McCarthy
- 57:57Speaker 1: cave system. It was for transporting sausages to other parts
- 58:03Speaker 1: of Pittsburgh. In the 70s?
- 58:04Speaker 2: Yep.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Oh, big thing with the McCarthy family. Sausage smuggling? We're
- 58:16Speaker 1: never going to say two words to the head coach
- 58:18Speaker 1: of the Steelers because we've now made his family proud.
- 58:22Speaker 1: 1970s sausage smugglers. I can't wait for that Super Bowl
- 58:27Speaker 1: parade to go through Greenfield. Uh-huh. Me too. Hey, our
- 58:35Speaker 1: friend Aunt Kaka is participating in the AHN mass casualty
- 58:40Speaker 1: event drill. She seemed to be very excited about being
- 58:43Speaker 1: part of it. She said she was going to treat
- 58:45Speaker 1: it like she's on the pit, even though she's not
- 58:47Speaker 1: on the pit. Aunt Kaka just checked in with us.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Talkback messages on our show here brought to us by
- 58:53Speaker 1: The Pavement Group.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Hi, boys.
- 58:55Speaker 1: It's Air Kaka. It's like a whisper.
- 58:57Speaker 21: Getting my makeup done.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Got interviewed for the news.
- 59:00Speaker 21: Just wanted to give you a check and i'm so
- 59:02Speaker 21: excited my uh my wrist is amputated apparently wow uh
- 59:08Speaker 21: but yeah i'll send pictures later love you we.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Got a one-handed aunt kaka and they interviewed her on
- 59:14Speaker 1: the news which news station got aunt kaka we need
- 59:17Speaker 1: to know and i hope aunt kaka delivered A news
- 59:22Speaker 1: interview worthy of playing on our show tomorrow. Call the
- 59:24Speaker 1: news people just like this is the closest I'm getting
- 59:27Speaker 1: to being on the pit. I want her to go
- 59:29Speaker 1: full Yinzer and be like, Dr. Robbie's going to come
- 59:32Speaker 1: save me. Where's Dr. Robbie? That's what I want. Hey,
- 59:37Speaker 1: good job, Ann Kaka. You're doing a good thing out
- 59:39Speaker 1: there volunteering today at AHN there. All right, Bob. get
- 59:45Speaker 1: some of this.
- 59:47Speaker 7: Together right now it's time to find that why the
- 59:51Speaker 7: hell is this trending with mikey.
- 59:54Speaker 1: And bab diddy's attorneys dropped him oh oh no uh
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: court papers describe the relationship with uh diddy and his
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: attorneys a total breakdown in cooperation and communication all right
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: uh they cite six months of unpaid lawyer fees So
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Diddy's lawyers left him. If I had to guess, that's
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: probably more of the problem. Is Diddy doesn't have the
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: money to pay lawyers? How doesn't he have the money
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to pay lawyers? Or just isn't paying them? Maybe. I
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: don't know. Different mentality when you're in jail and bills
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: have to be paid. It's like, what do I care?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I'm in jail. Locked up. But again, he hasn't paid
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: his lawyers, and his lawyers are like, all right, Diddy,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: that's enough for you. We were talking about the MTV
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: VMAs earlier. It was announced that Madonna is going to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: be performing at the VMAs September 27th. First time in
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: 23 years since she kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: in the wedding dresses. And oh, my gosh. The shock
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: and awe of that. Oh, my goodness. I think they
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: said she's opening the show, like the big opener, the
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: big Madonna reveal to open the show. It's just a
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: fart in the wind. It used to be a thing.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I don't think we really care too much about the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: VMAs anymore. But if you do, Madonna will be opening
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: it September 27th. The latest update about what's going on
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: with the Ed Sheeran tour. You know, Macklemore opened up
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: for him on a couple of dates, had some free
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Palestine messages. And then Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, who,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: of course, Steelers are going up there to play on Sunday.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Robert Kraft came out and said, hey, if Macklemore's here,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you ain't playing in my house. You know? Yeah. So
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: then Ed Sheeran was like, all right, well, Robert Kraft
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and some other NFL owners that own these stadiums I'm
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: playing in are going to not let me play if
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Macklemore's here. Got to kick Macklemore off. And then Macklemore
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: got kicked off. A lot of people sided with Macklemore.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: All the openers. All of it went horribly wrong for
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Ed Sheeran and the tour and all of his people.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And now Macklemore has flipped it. He donated a million
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: dollars to organizations supporting Palestinians and then told Robert Kraft
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: to do the same thing. I mean, that's really... And
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: McLemore's getting stuff done. It's a perfect play. He's just like, oh, yeah, bud,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: go ahead. And then Ed Sheeran... Put up your money.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Ed Sheeran apparently called Robert Kraft and asked him to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: commit $ 2 million to match the donation to aid in
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the region to fight the humanitarian crisis.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: So.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Macklemore puts up a million, tells Robert Kraft to do
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: the same thing. Then Ed Sheeran's like, hey, Robert Kraft,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: all my openers and my band left me. I think
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: you can do a little bit more than a million, bud.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Let's do two. Also, I saw a thing that said,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: don't clap for Robert Kraft because- him donating like two
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: million dollars yeah it's not a victory lap for him
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: right he's worth like 15 billion i think it's like
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the average american donating 16 dollars so it's like when
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: when these it's big numbers and you're like oh man
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: two million just that's a lot of money no matter
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: what i mean i don't really i don't like looking
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: at things that way i just think you know it's
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: not a lot of money to him but at the
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: same time hopefully it it makes a lot of difference
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: for whatever cause it goes to. Yeah, absolutely. And then
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: there's a Taylor Swift. We learned about the Taylor Swift Emmys, um,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: law and order SVU skit. An executive producer now is
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: confirming that yes, Taylor requested that they do the Easter eggs.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: This was going to be just a regular skit with
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: no Easter eggs. And then Taylor's like, let's make this
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: a little bit something more. Uh, the producer for the
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Emmy said, Taylor loved the script and she had some
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: thoughts and we worked that in and, And he said
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the Easter eggs, she wanted them to be really official
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: and correct. I mean, the good news about all that
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: news is it wasn't a goof. Yeah. And you're not crazy.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: She put things in there. for you to figure out
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: like there's not a crazy it's not a joke you're
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: not just chasing something that isn't real she didn't just
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: say the random words and stuff like that as a
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: joke she has a whole planned out thing also uh
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: her cat olivia benson with the real olivia benson that
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: was also taylor's idea where she was like okay i
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: have a cat in it too and they're i mean
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: who's gonna tell taylor swift no you're like you want
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: to bring the cat sure bring the cat we'll do
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: a little meow at the end with olivia i saw
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: didn't everything point to 10 13 Like October 13th. And
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: then there was another reference to like 8.30 a.m. October 13th, Tuesday. Oh, buddy.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Which October 13th is Tuesday. Yeah. And it said Tuesday,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: 8.30 a.m. Don't get me. I stumbled upon it. Don't
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: do that to me. Welcome. Hey, plenty of room down
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: here in the Taylor Room. I saw that's what everybody
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: was pointing to.
- 1:04:49Speaker 13: 10.13 a.m.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Because she said it plain sight. And then on the board.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: On the board? Are you looking at pictures of board?
- 1:04:58Speaker 17: Wow.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: It said 10.13 on the clock.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: And then October 13th, which is a Tuesday.
- 1:05:01Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: It said Tuesday, 8.30. All right, man. i didn't go
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: deep i don't know if i'm rubbing off on you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: or something like that but it sounds like you're down
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: the swifty wormhole just like i am i would just
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: say be careful october 13 something might happen we got
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: a naked guy at a bakery coming up around 9
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: 25 and there's always people uh getting naked getting arrested
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: making the news and then making our show here it
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: is mikey and bob on 96 one kiss and it
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: is time for another naked story Whoa! It happened again.
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: So excited to get naked. It's time for another Naked
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: Story on the 96.1 Kiss Morning Freak Show with Mikey
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: and Big Bab.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: This is down in Georgia. Okay. Man is accused of
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: making a nasty display outside of a Tasty Cakes bakery.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Like a local bakery? Yeah. 64-year-old man named Elmer. Oh,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: not a hot Elmer. Nobody's naming their kid Elmer anymore, right? Oh, no.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Elmers have left us. We ain't making Elmers anymore. What'd
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Elmer do at the bakery? He was arrested at Tasty
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Cakes after police were getting calls that there was a
