[SPEAKER_04]: you're now diving into the fish team.
• 0:27
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm all thrown off, yeah, but real quick, not by choice, because last week we got a copyright infringement so whatever that was behind there, someone's not claiming his music.
• 0:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Wait a minute, we can't get ran horn to hand to feel this.
• 0:44
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't even work that much.
• 0:45
[SPEAKER_06]: What are you talking about?
• 0:46
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, let's start the show.
• 0:48
[SPEAKER_06]: I guess since we started the show, well, the first thing I've presented by Van Horn-Log Group, we won't forget the call.
• 0:55
[SPEAKER_06]: And of course, Casabella Design Group, Seth Levitt here, live from the Dolphins Talk YouTube channel, as well as the Casabella Design Group studios.
• 1:03
[SPEAKER_06]: And as always, I am joined by the toughest live podcast or Dhammer, you know, ever played with... You damn right, you damn right.
• 1:12
[SPEAKER_06]: own that is it see that's how you know it's the regular season we have some humility in the off season right second dance and it's like what would I dispute that man right I wouldn't say that why would I dispute that
• 1:26
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's it.
• 1:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, if you got it on tape, then I guess I said it.
• 1:29
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's what it is.
• 1:30
[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, and but the thing is only one guy.
• 1:33
[SPEAKER_06]: And he played with a lot of them.
• 1:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Only one guy could say it.
• 1:35
[SPEAKER_06]: So he is O. J. McDuffie of course as always.
• 1:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, I can't say that he's back in his seat.
• 1:40
[SPEAKER_06]: The legendary safak in the house.
• 1:42
  [SPEAKER_06]: Chad Van Horn.
• 1:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Michael Leva and this is like three weeks in a row, isn't it?
• 1:49
[SPEAKER_06]: Sunset McCollonus, the host of Dolphins, deep dive with Perk.
• 1:52
[SPEAKER_06]: As Dolphins, deep dive with Perk, still a thing.
• 1:55
[SPEAKER_08]: Chris Perk, we did one last week, we did one last week.
• 1:58
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh man, I was out of commission last week, I'm sorry.
• 2:01
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, no, I was out of season for Mirus, so we're off your road.
• 2:05
[SPEAKER_06]: I love it, what's the best season for Mirus?
• 2:09
[SPEAKER_06]: I, you know, we're gonna talk about the dolphins, we're gonna talk about joint practice, got a pretty seasoned game coming up.
• 2:15
[SPEAKER_06]: It is a game week.
• 2:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: I'm here, so don't kid, so I don't get to find.
• 2:19
[SPEAKER_06]: My name is Joe Robby, this is my team.
• 2:21
[SPEAKER_06]: And actually, you know, there's a perfect segue.
• 2:24
[SPEAKER_06]: So I just was on the dive bar, had a Wednesday show, and these guys talked about French fries and fast food for 35 minutes.
• 2:31
[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like anything that I bring to the table tonight is on board, we're okay with it, it's cleared.
• 2:37
  [SPEAKER_06]: But on Monday,
• 2:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Joe Shad tweets out a picture of a half a dozen Dunkin Donuts, all the same Donuts by the way, I haven't done it, I've heard this walk and it's just give me all those, but he says how nice of a guy Chris Perkins is he brought Donuts into the entire press room.
• 2:56
[SPEAKER_06]: And so we were like, well, Peric, what do you bring in for us on Wednesday night?
• 3:00
[SPEAKER_06]: And then we start getting this whole deal about, well, I can't get it up to Syracuse, New York and out the Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville and all this stuff and Jews and I were like, no problem, we got you.
• 3:11
[SPEAKER_06]: So we called our guy, Bobby Malose from Villa Italia Bakery in Skenectady, New York.
• 3:18
[SPEAKER_06]: All the way up in Skenectady.
• 3:20
[SPEAKER_06]: and fellas and y'all get your parents.
• 3:22
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's what I wanted to.
• 3:23
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh yeah, I got my package, bro.
• 3:25
[SPEAKER_06]: Guys, this is for you, Guy Barron, your damn French fries.
• 3:29
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that was good.
• 3:30
  [SPEAKER_06]: That was good.
• 3:31
[SPEAKER_06]: Italian baked goods delivered to the doorstep.
• 3:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Mike said there's no way they're going to get it up to Sarah.
• 3:36
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know your order from Skenexney, but it's only like a few hours drive for me.
• 3:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, he can't even even walk over there.
• 3:41
[SPEAKER_06]: There is a thank you card.
• 3:43
  [SPEAKER_06]: How about that?
• 3:43
[SPEAKER_06]: What else is in there?
• 3:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's open it up guys live.
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_06]: What else did we just get one at ease?
• 3:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you should just go.
• 3:53
  [SPEAKER_06]: There it is.
• 3:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: 72 dolphins.
• 3:56
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you should bring replicas.
• 3:59
[SPEAKER_06]: You saying, Perk, it's Perk.
• 4:00
[SPEAKER_06]: You allowed me to set this or maybe you allowed me to set this.
• 4:03
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, damn well he can.
• 4:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
• 4:31
[SPEAKER_06]: Bobby Malose, really tell you, thank you.
• 4:33
[SPEAKER_06]: If you guys want some of this coffee cake, VillaTaliaBakery.com, and I'm going to steal this from because they're a fish sponsor of the out-to-pastor podcast, which also can be heard on Dolphins Talk as well as all top-to-pastor channels.
• 4:47
[SPEAKER_06]: And if you use the code, Bo Joe,
• 4:50
[SPEAKER_06]: You get, I think you said tell him Mike for the fries.
• 4:53
[SPEAKER_06]: We're on the street boat, Joe, 20% off your order, and Bobby sends you one of those key chains or something for your car emblem.
• 5:00
[SPEAKER_06]: So Bobby Melody, great dolphins fan, great baker.
• 5:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Fellas, I wanna hear what you think of the coffee cake.
• 5:05
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, let's get into some football.
• 5:06
  [SPEAKER_06]: It's enough food.
• 5:07
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait though, man.
• 5:09
  [SPEAKER_07]: All right.
• 5:10
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we got, I mean, it's called the cake looks, can we eat on the show or what it's got?
• 5:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: One bite.
• 5:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone knows the rules, right?
• 5:18
[SPEAKER_06]: Sam Marko is Sam Marko in the chat yet, because I saw him.
• 5:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's in there.
• 5:24
  [SPEAKER_06]: There he is.
• 5:25
[SPEAKER_06]: Open up a box full of Peggy's estate.
• 5:27
  [SPEAKER_06]: Incredible.
• 5:28
[SPEAKER_06]: Sam, I guess the time that I did an entire perfect bill at the show was a bowl of Chipotle.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I cannot say real quick to from the same bakery because if you all remember they did a valentines day giveaway.
• 5:41
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
• 5:42
[SPEAKER_01]: And I actually ended up getting one of those.
• 5:44
[SPEAKER_01]: So now with with that, I got a giant decal of this for the back of my car.
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_01]: So now I have a matching keychain.
• 5:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, thank you.
• 5:54
[SPEAKER_06]: Gillitaia, baby, all day, incredible goodies going on.
• 5:58
[SPEAKER_06]: But ain't my dick in yet, ain't my dick.
• 6:00
[SPEAKER_06]: Park on to my dick.
• 6:01
[SPEAKER_06]: It goes, first guy to send me his address and he's a friend.
• 6:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he could know time at all.
• 6:07
[SPEAKER_05]: He just immediately, it goes perfect.
• 6:10
[SPEAKER_05]: He goes perfect with line, by the way.
• 6:12
[SPEAKER_05]: It goes perfect, by the hell.
• 6:13
[SPEAKER_08]: So yeah, I'm doing good behavior right now.
• 6:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely, two good.
• 6:18
[SPEAKER_08]: Have some coffee in the morning, too.
• 6:20
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, well, that's the good news.
• 6:22
[SPEAKER_06]: The bad news is, number one, Twitter was like, was this the quietest Miami Dolphins training camp practice, and the history of Miami Dolphins training camp practices in the Twitter age?
• 6:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it was very quiet on Twitter.
• 6:36
  [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
• 6:36
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
• 6:37
[SPEAKER_06]: And I want to get some perspective on that, Perk, but it sounded like not only did we get work with the Washington Commanders,
• 6:45
[SPEAKER_06]: But the Dolphins might have got worked by the Washington Commanders so what's our take away I'll perk I'm going to start with you because I I feel like the people who are jumping off the ledge Like first fall it's one practice second of all what were the expectations for for walking with a team that was in an energy championship two years ago
• 7:04
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you know what?
• 7:05
[SPEAKER_08]: So first of all, Jaden Daniels, the Washington Quarterback had his way with the dolphins, but you got to remember the dolphin where without three starters in the secondary, right?
• 7:15
[SPEAKER_08]: Yep, back to you, Briss.
• 7:30
  [SPEAKER_08]: So that was disappointing.
• 7:31
[SPEAKER_08]: You expected, um, Jayden Daniels to have success.
• 7:35
[SPEAKER_08]: You expected, Washington's wide receivers, Terry McLean and Stefan D's to have success, even if the defensive backs were going to be there.
• 7:45
[SPEAKER_08]: What was good to me was the dolphins were physical.
• 7:49
[SPEAKER_08]: They didn't get beaten up like they did against a Troy and Chicago last year.
• 7:54
[SPEAKER_08]: They got outplayed, but they didn't get out physical.
• 7:57
  [SPEAKER_08]: They didn't get pumped.
• 7:59
[SPEAKER_08]: And so that's the good thing about what we saw from the dolphins up there at Washington.
• 8:05
  [SPEAKER_08]: The talent differential.
• 8:07
[SPEAKER_08]: Look, this is not a talent at Dolphins team.
• 8:09
[SPEAKER_08]: So you know that if the starters could stay healthy for all 17 games, maybe they could win six or seven, maybe eight, but the starters aren't going to stay healthy.
• 8:20
[SPEAKER_08]: The depth is a problem.
• 8:22
[SPEAKER_08]: We saw that today on the offensive line.
• 8:24
[SPEAKER_08]: This is disappointing that the again that you know, I would say this.
• 8:29
[SPEAKER_08]: It was good that the linebackers seem to have a good day Jordan Bruts and and Jacob Rodriguez, you know, they're kind of the strength of the team, but the rest of the stuff, you know, nobody was that bad Malik Willis.
• 8:44
[SPEAKER_08]: He was so so his receivers, Caleb Douglas.
• 8:47
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's he's going to flash.
• 8:48
[SPEAKER_08]: He's going to be hot and cold.
• 8:49
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's very talented.
• 8:51
[SPEAKER_08]: Malik Washington, it sounded like he was
• 8:58
  [SPEAKER_08]: the lead was okay.
• 9:00
  [SPEAKER_08]: A channel was okay.
• 9:02
[SPEAKER_08]: It sounded like the guys when you thought we're going to be okay.
• 9:06
  [SPEAKER_08]: We're okay today.
• 9:08
[SPEAKER_08]: So I don't have a big problem with what was reported and what you had.
• 9:11
  [SPEAKER_06]: You're okay with okay.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you know, you know, yeah, like, like, the, the, the, Peyton Proctor didn't get plow, right?
• 9:21
[SPEAKER_08]: You know, Aaron Brewer didn't get plow.
• 9:24
[SPEAKER_08]: Jordan Brooks didn't get plow.
• 9:26
[SPEAKER_08]: A Chan had a good day, so that's okay.
• 9:29
[SPEAKER_08]: That's about as good as you're gonna expect from this team.
• 9:32
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you know, you know what else, man?
• 9:34
  [SPEAKER_07]: Also, you know, look.
• 9:37
[SPEAKER_07]: We talked about you got a veteran team bonus a very very young team.
• 9:40
[SPEAKER_07]: You expect those got you out there and do some big things against us.
• 9:43
[SPEAKER_07]: I also heard this, though, and I don't know if you heard this perk, but throughout the run and hooking ladders, they're doing trick plays and shit.
• 9:49
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, this is them.
• 9:51
  [SPEAKER_07]: This is them.
• 9:52
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, a joint practice where they're trying to find ways to beat us.
• 9:57
[SPEAKER_07]: I'd rather we just line up.
• 9:58
[SPEAKER_07]: basic as hell, if we can guard somebody, if we can beat somebody now, I know we got beat another aspect of the game too, but the important part was they did not get home, that's what I feel most confident about.
• 10:13
[SPEAKER_07]: These young guys don't give a damn, you know, and I like that part about it.
• 10:17
[SPEAKER_07]: Why the hell are the commanders running, looking ladders and trick plays, you know what I mean, and the joint practice?
• 10:24
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, riddle me that, riddle me that right there.
• 10:27
[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I don't think it'll happen a couple of times, though, Jews and fairies today.
• 10:33
[SPEAKER_07]: Why anytime, why anytime, so, perk, why, why, why, why are you going to run that shit?
• 10:37
[SPEAKER_08]: Because they have stuff they want to work on, just like the dolphins do.
• 10:40
[SPEAKER_07]: When you can run that shit, I'm like, the boy, you bet I'm a fucking, put that shit on me.
• 10:46
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's four.
• 10:48
[SPEAKER_07]: I hope you build runs out of games, you know what I mean.
• 11:06
[SPEAKER_03]: If they try to run their with him out there, there would have been a fight today.
• 11:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm hearing.
• 11:10
  [SPEAKER_07]: They're right.
• 11:11
  [SPEAKER_07]: They're right.
• 11:12
  [SPEAKER_07]: They're gonna get it.
• 11:13
  [SPEAKER_07]: They've been a problem.
• 11:14
[SPEAKER_07]: They're gonna start cutting dudes.
• 11:16
[SPEAKER_07]: I'd be doing all kinds of blind side blocks.
• 11:19
  [SPEAKER_07]: You ain't.
• 11:19
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not even finding joint practice for a blind side block.
• 11:23
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I'm gonna get somebody.
• 11:24
  [SPEAKER_07]: Somebody gonna get some.
• 11:26
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, when the fights come hurt, I hide behind the big guys, let them fight.
• 11:31
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah, that's what they're talking about.
• 11:32
[SPEAKER_08]: That's what they hate, you know what I mean?
• 11:34
  [SPEAKER_08]: I do.
• 11:35
[SPEAKER_08]: I can think you throw some time.
• 11:36
[SPEAKER_08]: They're like, you just, I know you now, you know.
• 11:38
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I got to protect these.
• 11:39
[SPEAKER_08]: I got to protect you, you know.
• 11:41
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what we expected out of it.
• 11:43
[SPEAKER_07]: I think what you said for writing the most important thing is that the physicality we have that there.
• 11:46
[SPEAKER_07]: I think that we didn't get punk they weren't.
• 11:59
[SPEAKER_07]: They want to free the movement.
• 12:01
[SPEAKER_07]: They might have got out of shine, you know, the whole situation, but at the same time, you know, we got some young dudes, and I think I added two within our head coach and the whole staff and some core players that, you know what?
• 12:14
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, this, I mean, hell, get up here.
• 12:18
[SPEAKER_07]: They say anytime you go on the road and join practices too, they usually set the tempo and they start doing things.
• 12:24
[SPEAKER_07]: You got to kind of react to it.
• 12:26
[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm okay with the fact that we didn't show well as well as we wanted to.
• 12:32
[SPEAKER_07]: But I've seen some people talk about, you know,
• 12:34
[SPEAKER_07]: Commanders won, it was 60-40, it was, you know, 65, 35.
• 12:38
[SPEAKER_07]: Of course, none of us were there.
• 12:40
[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't want anybody talking trash about the fact that you weren't even there.
• 12:43
  [SPEAKER_07]: No, it wasn't.
• 12:44
  [SPEAKER_07]: We're going off other people's reporting.
• 12:45
[SPEAKER_07]: But the same time, though, the fact that these young cats and our veteran guys went out there and they showed well enough for us to get this thing started.
• 12:55
[SPEAKER_07]: And you said it best, man.
• 12:57
[SPEAKER_07]: people we were concerned about the old line and people like that didn't get pushed around.
• 13:01
[SPEAKER_07]: Now I did hear that we did have some past rust.
• 13:03
[SPEAKER_07]: That was, you know, I mean that that did work out for us in our favor.
• 13:07
[SPEAKER_07]: So the fact that we had some past rust was one thing that, you know, we were worried about more than anything.
• 13:12
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's important too, man.
• 13:14
[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, one on one, they've come out one on one right away.
• 13:17
  [SPEAKER_07]: DB is getting toast.
• 13:18
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, of course.
• 13:18
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, well, the one I want you to ask us and no safety help.
• 13:21
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they're good.
• 13:22
[SPEAKER_07]: It's easy to tell somebody No situations.
• 13:24
[SPEAKER_06]: And what about the seven on sevens?
• 13:25
[SPEAKER_06]: We don't even practice that.
• 13:26
[SPEAKER_07]: And you don't even do seven.
• 13:27
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 13:28
  [SPEAKER_07]: You know.
• 13:29
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 13:29
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, yeah, we're not making excuses for what happened up there.
• 13:32
[SPEAKER_07]: And I hope that you don't come Friday.
• 13:34
[SPEAKER_07]: These guys go out there and show well, man.
• 13:36
[SPEAKER_07]: But at the same time, no, I mean, courage by what you said, Perk about the fact that these guys didn't go out there and get pumped.
• 13:42
[SPEAKER_07]: We ain't no bitches, man.
• 13:43
[SPEAKER_07]: We ain't gonna be none.
• 13:44
[SPEAKER_07]: We ain't gonna be none.
• 13:44
[SPEAKER_07]: We ain't gonna be none.
• 13:45
  [SPEAKER_07]: We ain't.
• 13:46
[SPEAKER_07]: You're not going to hit me on Amazon for a while.
• 13:49
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, plus I owed you one, so.
• 13:53
[SPEAKER_07]: You shouldn't hit me on Amazon anyways though.
• 13:55
[SPEAKER_07]: That ain't the first word.
• 13:59
  [SPEAKER_07]: You look bad.
• 14:00
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, like you bought a hit me with a date.
• 14:02
[SPEAKER_07]: Choose you try and do something with it.
• 14:04
[SPEAKER_06]: And then told him that you shouldn't have died.
• 14:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I think today too they also had three guys out in the secondary who are going to start so when I see reports well They got beat up in the secondary well duh, I mean that's one of the weak points on the team anyway take away their top
• 14:27
[SPEAKER_03]: guys of course they're going to get worked over in the second there so take that with a grain of stuff but here's a big picture um it got a hundred and eighty million dollars of dead money on this team this year you're going to be limited in the type of roster you can have period so when you start taking guys out no zax sealer
• 14:46
[SPEAKER_03]: You got all these guys out in the second there, you know, you're going to struggle because they don't have a roster that's like most teams roster.
• 14:56
[SPEAKER_03]: We've got 180 million of all that money not being used.
• 15:01
[SPEAKER_03]: So it is what it is.
• 15:02
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not too concerned about it.
• 15:04
[SPEAKER_03]: It's because once again, we talk about practice.
• 15:07
  [SPEAKER_06]: One practice, right?
• 15:08
  [SPEAKER_03]: One practice too.
• 15:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 15:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see how they look on Friday and, you know,
• 15:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: I guess we'll take it from there, I guess, I don't know.
• 15:16
[SPEAKER_06]: You think half of it has to be had a second practice schedule now after that.
• 15:20
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we have a quiet one tomorrow, like in the hotel room or something.
• 15:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Like conference who haven't walked through.
• 15:25
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, I'd be very, it'd be very interesting to see how post-practice meetings went.
• 15:32
  [SPEAKER_07]: More individual than team.
• 15:34
[SPEAKER_07]: I think the team on them might be very interested in how half handles it.
• 15:38
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, does half have a time, because you know, honestly, he hasn't been an opportunity to really lay into the teams he needs to.
• 15:44
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I think one thing that he definitely wanted is no matter what is make sure we're not having any coverage bus, you know, you're going to make some physical mistakes and I'm going to be physical.
• 15:56
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I think that he probably left that practice, you know, not no one how they run a react to a veteran team like they did.
• 16:04
  [SPEAKER_07]: Um, and you got a team that's honestly, that's, that's, that's, that's solid.
• 16:09
[SPEAKER_07]: That's, you know, that like you said, what ain't, an energy championship game last year, not last year, you know, you don't want to go.
• 16:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Go to the healthy J and Daniels, it's good as team, right?
• 16:18
[SPEAKER_07]: Hell yeah, yeah, good as team.
• 16:20
[SPEAKER_07]: So this is, this is great work for this football team, man.
• 16:23
[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm, I'm happy that they, they went up there and they ventured in that, that area.
• 16:28
[SPEAKER_07]: And I think that they're going to find a lot of positives out of just getting that experience.
• 16:31
[SPEAKER_07]: Even though they might have gotten your tail hooked, you know.
• 16:34
[SPEAKER_07]: And so, what did we expect from this football team from the beginning?
• 16:37
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, we talked about a lot of times about how we don't expect most from this team.
• 16:41
[SPEAKER_07]: Do we expect them to go blow for blow with the commanders?
• 16:45
[SPEAKER_07]: Considering how, you know, how good they are or how good they've been, I don't think so, but could we hold our own?
• 16:52
[SPEAKER_07]: And from what the reporting says, I think we held our own, even though we probably leave that as a regular game, we probably would probably lose that football game.
• 17:00
[SPEAKER_07]: But we're counting on losing some football games anyways, but these young dudes don't give it damn.
• 17:05
[SPEAKER_07]: That's the most important thing for me.
• 17:06
[SPEAKER_07]: Do not give a damn about who they're facing
• 17:14
[SPEAKER_07]: I look at those wire receivers like the hell with them.
• 17:17
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I'll be talking so much trash like, you know, I want my young DBs to be confident.
• 17:21
  [SPEAKER_07]: I don't care who it is.
• 17:23
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, Seth and I talked to John Grooney other day.
• 17:25
[SPEAKER_07]: We talked to, you know, me and we talked to Rich Gannon the other day and Sam and Pat didn't give a damn Jerry Rice, you know, me and Tim Brown were on the other side of him.
• 17:35
  [SPEAKER_07]: They didn't give a damn.
• 17:36
[SPEAKER_07]: I want our DBs to fill the same way.
• 17:39
  [SPEAKER_07]: about anybody's face.
• 17:41
  [SPEAKER_07]: I don't care, home they've been leaked.
• 17:42
[SPEAKER_07]: How great everybody thinks they are when you get across the booth.
• 17:45
[SPEAKER_07]: They're in the league, you're in the league.
• 17:47
[SPEAKER_07]: Don't give a damn about that man and go toe, toe for toe with the toe with those guys, man.
• 17:52
[SPEAKER_08]: You know, one thing that that half always talks about with two things he talks about are softness slash physicality and strength and the trenches and along those lines that would have liked to have heard more today about how Chop Robinson and Jonas of Inaia looked.
• 18:09
[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe we'll get a better look at them in the game, but those are two kind of swing guys to me, two kind of pivotal guys, two guys I have a lot of questions about.
• 18:18
[SPEAKER_08]: And if they both come through, because I've said if they can awaken KG and shop and survive nine of those high draft picks, the rebuild those at work speed.
• 18:31
[SPEAKER_08]: So I would like to know how I saw a little bit on KG today that he did some decent work.
• 18:37
[SPEAKER_08]: And we'll talk about the depth chart later, I think, but, um, yeah, dropping to buy a night, I would have liked to have seen a little bit more, maybe we'll see him on Friday night.
• 18:46
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and I, you know, it sounded like Savay and I struggled a little bit.
• 18:50
[SPEAKER_06]: I heard that he whiffed a couple times, which is not what you want to hear, right?
• 18:55
[SPEAKER_06]: I left side, whatever that might be for 101, so I don't know.
• 18:59
  [SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know.
• 18:59
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, I'm saying, I mean, you can whiff on 101 because you know, you got to move right a lot of space.
• 19:05
  [SPEAKER_07]: Right.
• 19:05
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 19:06
[SPEAKER_07]: You got a lot of space when you're entering those tackles, all kinds of, you know, barred's going to get a little help in times, there's a lot of nobody's there.
• 19:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: For no, I don't either.
• 19:14
[SPEAKER_07]: And like I said, it was, I felt like the reporting was a little limited compared to what we are accustomed to at one of these practices and real great makes that I'm sorry to cut you off all good I heard from all the reporting people the POV was rough, you know ground level POV is tough.
• 19:31
[SPEAKER_07]: And most of the fields happening there in time field level you can't really see you need you need low right you know a little bit of a person see everything so you just you know but I don't give a damn like that's that they're out there for You don't even say you don't give a damn that's one reason
• 19:46
[SPEAKER_06]: No, I'm serious because I'm going to get into this in my, I'm going to get freaking Sam's killing me.
• 19:53
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to get into this in my, I tried to tell you all, but you can't talk loud and who you got to follow and all, you know what, let me, let me, let me say what's up Bobby, welcome.
• 20:02
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'll get into that later.
• 20:04
[SPEAKER_06]: So a couple things to me stood out.
• 20:06
  [SPEAKER_06]: One was the expectation
• 20:09
[SPEAKER_06]: lack of depth at the wide-out position, lack of depth and defensive backfield, right?
• 20:15
[SPEAKER_06]: And that I think those two things, and particularly when certain guys were sitting, but, boy, did we hear Caleb Douglas' name a lot?
• 20:22
[SPEAKER_06]: From both Washington media and Miami media, and that's exciting.
• 20:27
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, that was one pic that when you read all the the draft mix,
• 20:31
[SPEAKER_06]: and everybody when they evaluated this draft, a lot of people felt that John Erick Sullivan reached on him.
• 20:37
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, and so far, I know I brought up Brandon, Brian, and a couple weeks ago.
• 20:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's hope it's not one of those situations, but so far, he's been impressive.
• 20:48
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
• 20:50
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, no, Caleb has been really good.
• 20:51
[SPEAKER_08]: He's, he's, he's had a couple of drops, but he's looked six, four, two, five.
• 20:57
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's, he's, he's long.
• 20:59
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's a long strider.
• 21:00
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's got deceptor speed.
• 21:02
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's got good hands.
• 21:03
[SPEAKER_08]: He can make catches in traffic.
• 21:05
  [SPEAKER_08]: He gets good separation.
• 21:07
[SPEAKER_08]: I was one of those who thought that they reached on him, but he's changed in my mind.
• 21:11
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's, he's had a couple
• 21:13
[SPEAKER_08]: but he has potential to be live receiver one over Malik Washington and until Chris Bale gets in there.
• 21:21
[SPEAKER_08]: I've been very pleased and pleasantly surprised by Caleb Douglas.
• 21:25
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you know what I like about Caleb Douglas is, you look at a big guy with a big frame like that, you know, usually release is a problem.
• 21:32
[SPEAKER_07]: This guy has no memory.
• 21:33
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, a lot of smaller DBs and get into those guys and, you know, you get up and press, you might be in trouble with, with Caleb Douglas and I like that a lot of it.
• 21:41
[SPEAKER_07]: I know the one drop I saw per last week was passing, you know, early this week was, you know, this is a concentration drop, you know, over the, you know, wide open, jump for no reason, you know, and so I've, I've seen a couple, I've only seen the one drop, but I know there's been some reported, but this guy is, I mean, Malik Willis lovesy.
• 22:01
[SPEAKER_07]: I think he won't be to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to
• 22:26
  [SPEAKER_07]: all the play.
• 22:27
[SPEAKER_07]: Being we're supposed to be we're supposed to be there.
• 22:29
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, we see it.
• 22:30
  [SPEAKER_07]: We've been a training camp.
• 22:31
[SPEAKER_07]: You see one guy running in a quarterback throwing a fade.
• 22:34
[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
• 22:43
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, we're always like, that has been a league every two years.
• 22:47
[SPEAKER_07]: They've got to be a team of sports.
• 22:49
  [SPEAKER_07]: You never know.
• 22:50
[SPEAKER_07]: So, you know, that's the way he's talking about, you know, so I do love the fact that both sides, big stuff like you're talking about the washing the side and of course, our side are talking about Caleb Douglass and that that's big for us because we have, we said, there's still a question mark.
• 23:05
[SPEAKER_07]: It is still training camp.
• 23:07
[SPEAKER_07]: Hopefully he's not, I mean, Brian Manning could have been a really good receiver.
• 23:10
  [SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to, I don't want to.
• 23:12
  [SPEAKER_07]: So I'm ready.
• 23:13
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to shoot on Brian, man.
• 23:16
[SPEAKER_07]: But the same I know, you know, when it got, you know, when it got to the whole different look, you know, hey, our days, I think they show way more in pre-season, you know, building the pre-season back in my day.
• 23:28
[SPEAKER_07]: Look, I just talked about it and it was running trick plays, but talking about things like that.
• 23:33
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sure they're showing blitzes.
• 23:34
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sure they're trying to disguise coverage.
• 23:36
[SPEAKER_07]: They're trying to get in the real regular season form right now.
• 23:40
[SPEAKER_07]: So hopefully he's seeing that now,
• 23:46
  [SPEAKER_07]: completely different.
• 23:47
[SPEAKER_07]: Every team does something completely different.
• 23:49
[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to learn here as long as you're in that book on that film in that classroom of paying attention, you're going to be just fine if you if you're about that business man.
• 23:59
[SPEAKER_07]: And that's how you know guys that are young.
• 24:02
[SPEAKER_07]: against, because you're like, look, what do you, your whole, like, you know, the number of hours are allowed in colleagues during the week, like maybe 21 hours.
• 24:10
[SPEAKER_03]: But it's not much, yeah, it's changed.
• 24:12
[SPEAKER_07]: I think, but it's still not much.
• 24:14
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you can get 10 hours a day now in the league.
• 24:16
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so if you take advantage of those opportunities being on, you know, in the film room, on the for walk through all different things and you can take it home with you like you want to, I think if he's about that business, he's going to be just fine.
• 24:30
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's exciting to see that's for sure.
• 24:33
[SPEAKER_06]: And here's what I was really pleased about, and I was waiting to see how this team would come out and respond.
• 24:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's not forget what the first joint practice was like for the Miami Dolphins a season ago.
• 24:45
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay?
• 24:46
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like Mike said, he had never heard of a team losing a a training camp practice.
• 24:52
[SPEAKER_06]: It happened to me on a fell, and it happened last year.
• 24:55
[SPEAKER_06]: And then in just lose, they just, they got pumped.
• 24:58
[SPEAKER_06]: Like they had a bunch of grown men and that was a team and it's fourth year under the same regime That was a team that had a lot of their big names playing and they got absolutely punk and I you know We even heard juice
• 25:12
[SPEAKER_06]: the head coach might have got punks by the bear's head got like, you know, Miguel might have had a few words from Ben Johnson.
• 25:19
[SPEAKER_06]: So it was, um, it was kind of humiliating to be a dolphins fan on that day.
• 25:24
[SPEAKER_06]: And then, then Detroit's lickin' their chops for a joint practice because they can't wait for those guys to come over to them.
• 25:30
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't think that's what we heard today.
• 25:32
[SPEAKER_06]: I think we heard that Washington was the better football team.
• 25:36
[SPEAKER_06]: in today's practice, but you didn't hear about the dolphins just getting manhandled like show.
• 25:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Seth, we ain't no punk bits is no more, man.
• 25:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, too.
• 25:45
[SPEAKER_03]: This is a young team where we're going through it all.
• 25:49
[SPEAKER_03]: This is the other team.
• 25:50
[SPEAKER_01]: He said that one that you have.
• 25:54
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
• 26:24
[SPEAKER_07]: And me tell you this too when you look at that a team and I'm going to tell you guys this from a personal perspective You're still you're doing some grown as Man
• 26:35
[SPEAKER_07]: on the other side of football.
• 26:37
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, we've got a lot of youngins, 21 draft picks from last year.
• 26:40
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know how many, we still have from the last year's draft, but I know we still have all 13 right now, pretty much, and I don't know all the more now, of course, but man, you don't realize how strong some of these games are.
• 26:52
[SPEAKER_07]: And it's amazing to me.
• 26:54
[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't care where the corner went to school, I don't know, I'm just making up an example.
• 26:59
[SPEAKER_07]: They could go to Murray-Stake Community College if they're out there on the football program.
• 27:05
[SPEAKER_07]: and they put their hands on you.
• 27:07
[SPEAKER_07]: It's a, that dude is there for a reason.
• 27:09
[SPEAKER_07]: And so our guys will learn that.
• 27:10
[SPEAKER_07]: This is the best way to learn that is being out there against some dudes that are some games.
• 27:15
[SPEAKER_07]: And I love the fact that they're getting thrown into the fire, man.
• 27:19
[SPEAKER_07]: And tonight's meetings tomorrow's only practice by themselves.
• 27:23
[SPEAKER_07]: And in that game, we'll see if it translates.
• 27:25
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, we'll see the translates.
• 27:27
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, of course, the guys they sold it today is bigger than today is bigger than the game on Friday.
• 27:32
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, the clarion of those guys, they're not playing on Friday night.
• 27:35
[SPEAKER_07]: They're not going to play.
• 27:36
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, they're not playing on Friday night.
• 27:38
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, some of our guys probably will have to play because we're a young team and we're a new team.
• 27:45
[SPEAKER_07]: But the the better the teams wanted to play.
• 27:47
[SPEAKER_07]: But the fact that I had to go up there and, you know, yeah, I'm not too moan-horn, but I had to hell over career at Penn State
• 27:56
  [SPEAKER_07]: See.
• 28:00
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll do it with you.
• 28:01
[SPEAKER_07]: It was with a grown ass man.
• 28:03
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's the damn sewer.
• 28:06
[SPEAKER_08]: Just when you say they're not going to play, I'll be interested because you know, today half did say that some of these linemen, if they get 30 steps today, he doesn't necessarily need to see them get another 20 snaps in the game.
• 28:19
[SPEAKER_08]: But some of these dude, we don't know how many snaps they got in one on one, and 11 on 11 and 7 on 7, he did say everybody needs to be ready.
• 28:28
  [SPEAKER_08]: to play on Friday.
• 28:30
[SPEAKER_08]: So this is kind of one of those things that we get to know half.
• 28:33
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to see he pretty much talks the talk, right?
• 28:37
[SPEAKER_08]: When he says we're going to be tougher and when he says we're going to run the ball and every 11 on 11, HN starts by getting a handoff and we see the physicality.
• 28:46
[SPEAKER_08]: So I want to see how he handles this open him preseason game.
• 28:50
[SPEAKER_08]: Do the best get the day off.
• 28:52
[SPEAKER_08]: His brew going to be out there getting some snaps and brooks.
• 28:55
[SPEAKER_08]: And and shop and Patrick Paul or do they get the I want to see if he continues to talk to talk again I don't know him any steps.
• 29:02
[SPEAKER_08]: They got impracticed today, but I do think some of those best are gonna have to be ready to play tomorrow night And it might catch them all guard a little bit Yeah, and part do you feel that way because I'm this is whole new regime and team and now if if it was the same guys if you know right
• 29:19
[SPEAKER_07]: It was Mike where he wouldn't play these guys tomorrow because it's half and the whole new thing We need to see a game time, you know, at least a series of two, right?
• 29:27
[SPEAKER_07]: I think that makes sense for those guys.
• 29:30
[SPEAKER_08]: We just need to see half continue to talk the talk, right?
• 29:35
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, if you say it, you have to back it up.
• 29:38
[SPEAKER_08]: So if you say some of these guys have to be ready to play, it'd be nice to plunder two of them play, just,
• 29:45
[SPEAKER_08]: And happy and happy and happy and silly have been good about that saying that they're going to turn over the bottom of the roster and we're now ski has gone and and all these other guys are are gone and they're taking looks at other people they've been true to what they say it so far so I would like to just see him continue to do that and I think that he will but I would like to see like maybe Austin Jackson or or Chop Robinson or somebody who thought, yeah, I was going to get the day off.
• 30:12
  [SPEAKER_08]: Zane Anderson.
• 30:13
[SPEAKER_08]: No, you're in there for twenty snaps.
• 30:14
  [SPEAKER_08]: Get rid of it.
• 30:16
  [SPEAKER_06]: Hmm.
• 30:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: I like that.
• 30:18
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
• 30:19
  [SPEAKER_06]: Play ball.
• 30:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 30:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 30:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: Play ball.
• 30:21
  [SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
• 30:22
  [SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
• 30:22
  [SPEAKER_06]: They're for.
• 30:23
  [SPEAKER_06]: I, I, I, I, I love Michael more.
• 30:26
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's the last time.
• 30:28
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, yeah, well, I don't even want to go there, but we're looking to have days off that joke and absolutely nuts.
• 30:35
  [SPEAKER_06]: You're hated.
• 30:36
  [SPEAKER_06]: What bothers you more?
• 30:38
  [SPEAKER_06]: That or another miscommunication?
• 30:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that's good.
• 30:44
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, that's a combination of packages like Joe Rose was saying.
• 30:48
[SPEAKER_07]: That's a combination of packages of frustration right there.
• 30:51
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I mean, miscommunication week 10, how the hell are you miscommunicating the week 10 after all the OTAs?
• 30:59
  [SPEAKER_07]: All the mini-cancers.
• 31:02
[SPEAKER_07]: Man, stop, don't play every man, don't give me a gun.
• 31:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Real quick before we move on, since since we have the insiders here, I always get called out for cheating because O.J.
• 31:11
[SPEAKER_05]: comes with me to my fantasy draft and gives me his side scoop.
• 31:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So what players should we look at?
• 31:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: So let's go.
• 31:21
  [SPEAKER_05]: I got a shameless plug here.
• 31:23
[SPEAKER_03]: We had a good day.
• 31:24
  [SPEAKER_05]: Don't worry Mike.
• 31:26
[SPEAKER_03]: On our podcast, Mike Clay from ESPN, one of their fantasy guys and he pretty much said, you can take A-chan, late round one, out round two.
• 31:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, pretty much it from Miami.
• 31:42
[SPEAKER_03]: He goes, well, let's if he makes plays with his legs like they think is draughtable, not as a starter, obviously, but he could have some value as a backup.
• 31:52
[SPEAKER_03]: If you're playing in a league where you can hold on to guys for many years, then Chris Bought and Caleb Douglas are guys for those leagues.
• 32:00
[SPEAKER_03]: We can hold on to him for many years going forward.
• 32:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Other than that, he goes, you know,
• 32:05
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I'm gonna tell you this right now and anybody you better not be in my draft league The league will this will be my QB2.
• 32:12
  [SPEAKER_07]: He's gonna be my QB2.
• 32:14
  [SPEAKER_08]: Wow.
• 32:14
  [SPEAKER_08]: That's for damn sure.
• 32:16
  [SPEAKER_07]: Kyle don't that interesting.
• 32:18
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm always I'm gonna dolphin home when it comes to fantasy.
• 32:20
[SPEAKER_07]: It's probably why I've never won a fantasy game
• 32:25
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, Chad has helped me with my draft before, and I came in second, you know, last year, which is, you know, but see, once you, once you draft, you know how to draft, you know, fantasy is, man, it's not just drafting this management throughout the season.
• 32:38
  [SPEAKER_07]: I ain't got time for that.
• 32:40
  [SPEAKER_07]: Someone gets hurt.
• 32:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Next thing you know, you ain't got like a team of like a bench anymore.
• 32:45
[SPEAKER_03]: And you're finding guys on the way forward that you never heard of, yeah, I know.
• 32:48
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know, but this game coffee cake is really good.
• 32:50
[SPEAKER_07]: Anyhow, yeah, exactly the whole damn thing said, okay, this is a six, this is a six, this is a nine, it's cake, right?
• 32:57
[SPEAKER_06]: It's like a first pizza right here.
• 32:59
[SPEAKER_06]: What are you talking about?
• 33:00
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's heavy.
• 33:02
  [SPEAKER_07]: It's a deep dish, though.
• 33:05
[SPEAKER_06]: And they should go, that is, that is for sure that they'll be.
• 33:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Shout out, Bill, tell you.
• 33:10
[SPEAKER_06]: So, all right, let's move on to the depth chart, which I know we talked about a lot of these guys.
• 33:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Dept chart came out, first depth chart of the season, means absolutely nothing.
• 33:20
[SPEAKER_06]: However, was there anything, Perk, I'll, I will start with you, was there anything that jumped out to you as surprising, either that somebody was a starter or that somebody was further back
• 33:34
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, again, let's try to get to know half and see what he means when he does this, but obviously the Jacob Rodriguez or Terrell Dodson, they're not messing around with with Dodson, if it's like, look, we we drafted this kid in the second round for a reason and you better write up or you're going to be in in reserves spot because this dude is coming.
• 33:57
[SPEAKER_08]: And so I like that, I like that kind of the grant is seemingly.
• 34:04
[SPEAKER_08]: He's it was kid grant or Jordan Phillips as I recall correctly at detail and so what I want to know is we get to know have is this deserved or are you trying to kick Jordan Phillips in the butt or you trying to reassure a kid at grant we're still with you.
• 34:21
[SPEAKER_08]: how what is the mentality there because we know with Mike McDaniel it would have been well let's prop up KG he's a he's a good guy we're up with people and you know I I don't think you need to keep Jordan Phillips in the butt right we've seen this do works
• 34:37
[SPEAKER_08]: But are you trying to continue to prop up KG as a first round pick?
• 34:41
[SPEAKER_08]: Are you telling them this is your last chance?
• 34:44
[SPEAKER_08]: I want to see what messages they're trying to be sent through this debt chart really.
• 34:48
[SPEAKER_08]: So I want to see as the preseason plays out what holds up and why what is the psychology of this and what is the truth in this debt chart.
• 34:58
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you know, and I love death charts for one reason like that perk.
• 35:02
[SPEAKER_07]: I want to see what, you know, if you're not where you think you should be.
• 35:05
  [SPEAKER_07]: Right.
• 35:06
[SPEAKER_07]: There's a light of fire in your butt.
• 35:07
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I mean, you're going to be a guy that's like, you know what I'm feeling like, you know, I'm I'm I'm undervaluated.
• 35:14
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think that you see what I'm doing out here, because some guys sit there and let rest on their laurels.
• 35:19
[SPEAKER_07]: They sit there and, you know, they made a player to and they're like, Oh, I'm killing it out here.
• 35:23
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I don't like that, you know, so when a depth chart comes out and you sit there and I'm gonna say when you sit in that meaty and at first depth chart comes out and you sit near and if they post it up on the on the board, you're like, damn.
• 35:40
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I thought I was doing better than that.
• 35:44
[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
• 35:44
[SPEAKER_07]: And then your buddies at the right next to you look, I mean, obviously I've been in that room when that depth chart pops up.
• 35:52
[SPEAKER_07]: They don't give you like, they don't send you a text message.
• 35:54
[SPEAKER_07]: You don't get an email about it.
• 35:56
[SPEAKER_07]: They put it up on the projector in the meat room and then they say, here's the depth chart right here.
• 36:02
  [SPEAKER_07]: They look inside.
• 36:04
[SPEAKER_07]: And then the dude that's a head of you was right next to you to the writer to the left Right, you know, I'm in there where I'm in like sitting there like Damn you know until I got my ass being on that first line of that depth art Because I knew that one way or another I'm gonna make sure that I'm finding a way to get myself to the next level of that depth art, man Because it does mean a lot these guys see this they
• 36:30
[SPEAKER_07]: They know what's going on in his depth chart because they sit there and they work and they see what's going on in practice.
• 36:39
[SPEAKER_07]: They see what's going on in meetings.
• 36:40
[SPEAKER_07]: They see what's going on in the weight room.
• 36:42
[SPEAKER_07]: They see all the reasons that depth charts happen.
• 36:44
[SPEAKER_07]: Depth charts don't happen just because you made a couple of plays on the field in the practice field.
• 36:48
[SPEAKER_07]: Depth charts happen because of things that you've done off the field as well.
• 36:52
  [SPEAKER_07]: In terms of workouts,
• 36:54
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, being early, you know, standing late, things like that are part of what happens when it comes to deaf charts.
• 37:00
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, after that, it's all about performance.
• 37:02
[SPEAKER_07]: Once you get to that number one side that first light in the deaf chart, now how do you maintain it?
• 37:07
[SPEAKER_07]: How do you hold on to it?
• 37:09
[SPEAKER_07]: And then how does two and three leapfrog you leapfrog you to get to where they want to be?
• 37:14
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's a very interesting thing when it comes with your boots for your buddies, your room for your teammates, well, who doesn't want to be in that first line of depth chart when it comes to being professionals, you know, especially with young guys.
• 37:28
[SPEAKER_07]: Young guys look at that thing and they might not get that first level of, of depth chart because sometimes coach who want to prove a point, veteran guys going to be here and come get him.
• 37:39
  [SPEAKER_07]: come getting.
• 37:40
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, and a lot of times, you know, that's their motivation.
• 37:43
[SPEAKER_07]: Whatever your motivation is, go get them in a good coach and I know we got a really good head coach has a really good position coaches.
• 37:51
[SPEAKER_07]: They're going to put that out there because this guy is not happy.
• 37:55
[SPEAKER_07]: Zick bigger than going to be happy because he's not on that first line.
• 37:58
[SPEAKER_07]: See if he can get him better out, more out of Zick bigger.
• 38:01
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, can't have grand is there because you know, whatever reason it can, can somebody's other
• 38:09
[SPEAKER_07]: That's that's the part of the middle part and I think Jimmy Johnson was great about the middle part of getting guys motivated.
• 38:17
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I'm your Jimmy most credit but psychology wise, he's second to none.
• 38:21
[SPEAKER_07]: Second to know when he comes to us like that.
• 38:23
[SPEAKER_07]: So you got guys at a sitting there like, okay, depth charts out.
• 38:28
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, we see where I'm at.
• 38:30
  [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I'm down there.
• 38:31
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, see if that's motor base for them to try to do more than what they've been doing.
• 38:36
[SPEAKER_07]: Even though the coaches might feel like they've been good enough to be somewhere higher, they might put them there to make them work even harder.
• 38:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Mike, was there anybody that jumped out to you on the the Depth chart again two high two.
• 38:49
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no.
• 38:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, one thing was, and I thought he played well towards into last year and it seemed like he's last on the water Seaver chart there was we's, um, I thought he played well at the end of last year and he'd be hiding everybody at water.
• 39:03
[SPEAKER_03]: He's even out the alleys.
• 39:04
  [SPEAKER_07]: He wanted it.
• 39:05
  [SPEAKER_07]: He'd been wrecked.
• 39:05
[SPEAKER_07]: He'd been wrecked at eight one.
• 39:07
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's your number.
• 39:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's your number.
• 39:08
  [SPEAKER_07]: I know that's true.
• 39:09
[SPEAKER_03]: And then you got the
• 39:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Charlie Hack who I know he said some rough some rough days from all the reporting We traded for a guy on Monday.
• 39:17
[SPEAKER_03]: He probably doesn't have an ID badge yet to walk in the building and for a second straight tackle It's Charlie Hack or Kate in a wall I haven't been on the field yet for us.
• 39:26
[SPEAKER_03]: He's already got an or so that's right It tells you what they think of Charlie Hack maybe
• 39:30
[SPEAKER_03]: So those were the two things there with bees.
• 39:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I thought played at the end of last year pretty good.
• 39:36
[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't been there, so you perk might know if he's been having a hard time in practice, I don't know.
• 39:40
[SPEAKER_03]: And then, okay, it's been so, so.
• 39:42
[SPEAKER_03]: And then with hack, you know, we know he's had some rough days.
• 39:45
[SPEAKER_03]: So, Katie and Wallace has a gold opportunity to be the backup right tackle sounds like.
• 39:50
[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know how good he is, because I know they're offensive line with the Patriots is then he good.
• 39:55
[SPEAKER_03]: If they're willing to get rid of him, what does that say?
• 39:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 39:57
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, Brian Flores will tell you he's still trying to figure out we're fine.
• 40:00
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, well, we'll leave Penn State alone Mike.
• 40:02
[SPEAKER_07]: We don't play that on this show.
• 40:03
[SPEAKER_03]: I can see the thing about, oh, I think he's a Penn State captain.
• 40:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's.
• 40:06
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, they've been shot.
• 40:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I thought the train more one would want to jump out to me.
• 40:11
[SPEAKER_06]: That was, well, the things that jumped out to me was the either or stuff.
• 40:14
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I had to hand that on dead charts.
• 40:18
[SPEAKER_06]: And I know we just talked about it and the reasons why and what's the motivation behind it.
• 40:23
[SPEAKER_06]: But Tray Moore was the one that did jump out to me because I just hadn't heard a lot.
• 40:27
[SPEAKER_06]: You heard about opportunities, guys would have on the edge because where's a pass rush going to come from.
• 40:33
[SPEAKER_06]: But to see if listen is a starter.
• 40:35
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I just hadn't heard or read any of that.
• 40:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Even from the people that I'm supposed to read things from.
• 40:41
[SPEAKER_08]: they're they're they're they're desperate at and rush or so uh... and try more really like it is it was kind of surprising because we don't he probably works more with the linebackers when you watch the individual drills and practice he works more with the linebackers then with the edge rush or so yeah that was that was kind of surprising also but um... look they they've got so many packages uh... for these linebackers in the address with
• 41:07
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to tell you this.
• 41:08
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't think Willie game makes the 53 like what I've seen so far.
• 41:12
  [SPEAKER_08]: He's beat.
• 41:13
[SPEAKER_08]: He's going mostly with the third teamers because he's so limited that, you know, you can you can use trade more in these situations.
• 41:21
[SPEAKER_08]: You can use Jacob Rodriguez.
• 41:23
[SPEAKER_08]: You can use T dot.
• 41:25
  [SPEAKER_08]: You can use Brooks.
• 41:26
[SPEAKER_08]: You can you can use a Kyle Lewis.
• 41:30
[SPEAKER_08]: You know, Willie Gay is like an old school thumpin' strong side linebacker who's only good on first and seein' from the opponent's 20.
• 41:39
  [SPEAKER_08]: So, I wasn't- It's problematic.
• 41:41
  [SPEAKER_08]: It's scary for me.
• 41:42
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm scared for Willie.
• 41:44
  [SPEAKER_08]: It's problematic.
• 41:44
  [SPEAKER_08]: Fuck.
• 41:45
  [SPEAKER_08]: Right, right.
• 41:46
[SPEAKER_08]: He doesn't do life in coverage.
• 41:48
[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, you know, second and six.
• 41:50
[SPEAKER_08]: You don't really want Willie out there.
• 41:52
  [SPEAKER_08]: You know?
• 41:53
  [SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
• 41:54
[SPEAKER_07]: That's kind of what was looked.
• 41:56
[SPEAKER_08]: How's Kyle Lewis is look good and and you know what I noticed today that he made a nice play in the run game.
• 42:03
[SPEAKER_08]: They see and I was like, wow.
• 42:05
[SPEAKER_08]: So, because they really went here and that big nickel to defend those tight ends like,
• 42:22
[SPEAKER_08]: So Kyle Lewis is interesting.
• 42:24
[SPEAKER_08]: He's going to get some snaps.
• 42:25
[SPEAKER_08]: I guarantee you he'll get some snaps.
• 42:27
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think I think half like kind of alluded to how he thought about Willie Gay making some plays.
• 42:32
[SPEAKER_07]: Every once in a while, but not being where he's supposed to, you know, we talked about this a little bit.
• 42:37
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you know, when you, you know, it's not about the result.
• 42:41
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, he processed over result.
• 42:43
  [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly right.
• 42:44
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, staff as an example, to have been to play.
• 42:46
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, you know, that's when he wasn't where he's supposed to be, you know, on the
• 42:50
  [SPEAKER_07]: Look.
• 42:51
[SPEAKER_06]: When a coach says that, is that a good thing?
• 42:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: What's that?
• 42:55
[SPEAKER_06]: When a coach says that about a vet.
• 42:57
  [SPEAKER_07]: It's terrible.
• 42:58
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 42:58
  [SPEAKER_07]: It's absolutely terrible.
• 42:59
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, no matter what, like, look.
• 43:03
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, we've, let me give you a little history of guys not just kind of freelance and that's quote unquote as we said, Junior say I freelance a lot, you know what I mean?
• 43:13
[SPEAKER_07]: There's some other, there's some guys that, and he made plays, but he was, but he was so good about, you know, being, you know, no, I see him was coming, you know, he was, when he, when he did that, he had guys in the back end that knew what he's about to do, but
• 43:32
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, you can't, you can't freely release somebody else vulnerable, especially on the defensive side.
• 43:37
[SPEAKER_07]: One bus on defense leads to huge, huge plays, you know, if you don't look at the suit with accused of that juice, right, doing his own thing and then they see, you know, you got to wide open and you know what, Steve, know that.
• 43:51
  [SPEAKER_07]: Teams know that.
• 43:52
  [SPEAKER_07]: Teams know freelancers.
• 43:54
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, and they know, guys out the world, you know, they can influence and then open up wide open gaps.
• 43:59
[SPEAKER_07]: You need to leave people vulnerable.
• 44:01
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, you can't leave.
• 44:03
[SPEAKER_07]: You can't leave other teammates vulnerable, especially on the defense side of football.
• 44:06
[SPEAKER_07]: It's hard to freelance on offense.
• 44:08
[SPEAKER_07]: You freelance on offense, you know, a whole place of rest.
• 44:10
[SPEAKER_07]: But you freelance on defense.
• 44:12
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's when gashing plays.
• 44:14
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's when it's close to happening.
• 44:16
[SPEAKER_07]: You've got to be way exposed to being when you're supposed to be there on defense.
• 44:19
[SPEAKER_07]: Otherwise, you'll get taken advantage of.
• 44:21
[SPEAKER_07]: People see a certain plan on the field.
• 44:23
[SPEAKER_07]: They know some entails and influences that you could use on that guy to make him just do this.
• 44:29
[SPEAKER_07]: doing that one half step opens up a wide open play for offensive teams and teams are smart enough to take advantage of that and they will bait you into that.
• 44:39
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't care how many plays or PVUs or maybe one interception here that really might get every once in a while.
• 44:45
[SPEAKER_07]: Same time though, they know that for every one play, they can probably get you for four of.
• 44:50
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, and that's the problem you run into when guys aren't displaying within the defensive
• 44:58
[SPEAKER_07]: is about defense, defense, defense, and be where you supposed to be.
• 45:02
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't care if guys catch the ball in front of you.
• 45:05
[SPEAKER_07]: Don't let a guy catch the ball over top of you when you aren't deep enough to make a play.
• 45:11
[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
• 45:12
[SPEAKER_07]: Make a team catch the ball in front of you and make them go 10 play 80 yard drive on you.
• 45:17
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's football.
• 45:18
[SPEAKER_07]: That's when you football right there because most of those drives go in and turn over on downs.
• 45:23
[SPEAKER_07]: a field goal 10 of field goal or something like that.
• 45:26
[SPEAKER_07]: So you can't you can't have defensive bus defensive bus leave the explosives.
• 45:31
[SPEAKER_07]: 80 are played two drives.
• 45:33
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'm two play drives.
• 45:33
  [SPEAKER_07]: 80 yards.
• 45:34
[SPEAKER_07]: And that that that that that'll kill a football team.
• 45:37
[SPEAKER_07]: So I guarantee when it comes to the final you know, depth chart and all these other guys.
• 45:44
[SPEAKER_07]: The guys that are whether supposed to be when they're supposed to be there, or the guys are going to have out there because those are the guys that are going to keep you in football games.
• 45:52
[SPEAKER_07]: They're going to keep you in football games.
• 45:54
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, the guys that, you know, giving up big plays, that lose your games right away.
• 46:00
[SPEAKER_07]: And now we got to go into catch up mode down 14.
• 46:03
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, you know, an offense now has to go out there.
• 46:06
[SPEAKER_07]: But defense is going to be the key.
• 46:08
[SPEAKER_07]: If guys on defense aren't doing what they're supposed to do, they're going to be penalized
• 46:14
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't care how many plays they're making training camp because everybody, everybody takes chances in training camp.
• 46:20
[SPEAKER_07]: DB takes chances in training camp.
• 46:22
[SPEAKER_07]: There's no, there's no help over the top, they can dig in undercut some, a touchdown in training camp doesn't mean the damn thing.
• 46:29
[SPEAKER_07]: But it does mean something on Sunday and September when the game starts going for real.
• 46:33
[SPEAKER_07]: So if guys aren't doing the right thing, now they can't trust them when the regular season starts.
• 46:39
[SPEAKER_06]: So the bottom line here that I've learned is no freelancing on defense and no freelancing at Dolphins practice because you're not allowed to read their tweets as apparently you can't read freelancers tweets.
• 46:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Another story for another segment.
• 46:54
[SPEAKER_06]: Before we get to that segment, we have to hit the Van Horn Law Group Legal Zone.
• 47:01
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'll just tee it up for you here, Chad.
• 47:04
  [SPEAKER_06]: Welcome to Mose, right?
• 47:05
  [SPEAKER_06]: Like, what's going on?
• 47:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to go Mose.
• 47:08
  [SPEAKER_06]: What happened, man?
• 47:10
  [SPEAKER_05]: Man, man, man.
• 47:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Have you ever walked into a packed restaurant thought this place has to be printing money?
• 47:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, get him out the door, right?
• 47:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Everyone's ordering the extra walk and paying for it.
• 47:22
[SPEAKER_05]: So you assume the owner's somewhere just counting the cash.
• 47:26
  [SPEAKER_05]: Well,
• 47:27
[SPEAKER_05]: When a largest, most South West grill franchisees just filed chapter 11 bankruptcy right here in beautiful South Florida.
• 47:37
[SPEAKER_05]: So apparently now, the greeting is welcome to most, and welcome to chapter 11.
• 47:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, that's the Palm Beach Space Operator, reported nearly $59 million in revenue last year.
• 47:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Man, but they still accumulated almost $19 million in debt.
• 47:57
[SPEAKER_05]: At one point, they had 69 locations.
• 48:00
[SPEAKER_05]: They've already closed 31 before filing back in time.
• 48:04
[SPEAKER_05]: And now they've asked the bankruptcy court for approval to close 16 more.
• 48:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, just a quick clarification, most itself did not file bankruptcy.
• 48:14
[SPEAKER_05]: This is a major franchise operation.
• 48:19
  [SPEAKER_05]: But here's tonight's great question.
• 48:20
[SPEAKER_05]: How can a business generate so much money and still go broke?
• 48:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Because revenue is the box score, cash flow is the final score.
• 48:30
[SPEAKER_05]: You can sell mountains of burritos, but after paying for food, employees rent, everything's more expensive, all the free chips, there may be nothing left.
• 48:40
[SPEAKER_05]: And this is where the Miami dolphins come into play.
• 48:44
[SPEAKER_05]: What do those and the dolphins have in common?
• 48:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh boy, big brand, loyal fans, millions of dollars
• 48:54
[SPEAKER_05]: And management looking at the line up and saying, we are paying too much for things that are not producing.
• 49:00
[SPEAKER_05]: But the dolphins, it's too, for most, it's underperforming locations.
• 49:09
[SPEAKER_05]: And chapter 11 is basically roster cut day for a business.
• 49:13
  [SPEAKER_06]: Hmm.
• 49:14
  [SPEAKER_05]: So.
• 49:16
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm going to let you guys decide who is a shit who are weren't then what cuts were taken, but who survived the rebuild first is it most or is the Miami Dolphins.
• 49:24
  [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I know.
• 49:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Man, I'm going to tell you what.
• 49:45
  [SPEAKER_07]: is fire.
• 49:47
[SPEAKER_05]: You know that you've finished it.
• 49:50
[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, I mean, I get it for lunch and dinner and then breakfast, all the things they cut in three, that's so good.
• 49:58
  [SPEAKER_05]: That's so good.
• 49:59
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, man.
• 49:59
  [SPEAKER_03]: I got a question for Chad.
• 50:00
[SPEAKER_03]: I got a question for Chad, legal zone.
• 50:02
[SPEAKER_03]: I saw that one place, wingstop, I'd never been to a wingstop on my life.
• 50:07
[SPEAKER_03]: There's like a handful of locations that they're trying now, where they're not going to accept cash.
• 50:12
[SPEAKER_03]: You can only pay by cart.
• 50:13
  [SPEAKER_03]: Mmm.
• 50:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: I was at legal.
• 50:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, a lot of places are going that way, and when cash is involved, cash goes missing.
• 50:22
[SPEAKER_05]: So they don't trust their employee, so they would rather pay the percent or two transaction.
• 50:27
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to credit card transaction fee, okay.
• 50:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, then worry about employees stealing money and worry about cash.
• 50:34
  [SPEAKER_05]: So unfortunately, I'm a cash guy.
• 50:37
[SPEAKER_05]: and I grew up with my father and I know if this thing starts to go everywhere he's the I would have here in every day, they won't take my cash, they don't need my business I can't get your money, hey I can tell you I'm not going to say where I was but I was at a place that I paid cash and I I walked out after paying and they ran out like I was stealing something
• 51:00
[SPEAKER_05]: I cannot, sir, what are you doing?
• 51:02
[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm like, I did not pay the right amount.
• 51:05
[SPEAKER_05]: I kept, they're like, we can't take this from you.
• 51:08
  [SPEAKER_05]: Like, is it fake?
• 51:10
[SPEAKER_05]: What's wrong with the cash?
• 51:11
[SPEAKER_05]: But no, that is the thing.
• 51:13
[SPEAKER_05]: It started in Europe and it's on its way over.
• 51:17
[SPEAKER_05]: So be ready for it.
• 51:19
  [SPEAKER_05]: There's no cash.
• 51:20
[SPEAKER_07]: There's no cash on the far right stadium.
• 51:23
  [SPEAKER_07]: Zero cash.
• 51:23
[SPEAKER_07]: I need those paid right stadium.
• 51:25
  [SPEAKER_07]: I'm a fan.
• 51:26
  [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of stadiums.
• 51:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, no cash per.
• 51:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm okay with it, but I know my father and my hand never repersonal verse of a stage.
• 51:35
[SPEAKER_03]: They're gonna hate this and they're gonna try to mean that's about it.
• 51:38
[SPEAKER_06]: But why are you a fan?
• 51:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Why are you an actual fan of it, Burke?
• 51:42
[SPEAKER_08]: Because I just carry I carry my ID and my car.
• 51:46
  [SPEAKER_08]: That's it.
• 51:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you wear it on the hand?
• 51:48
[SPEAKER_08]: You're like it like in the, no, like a press like yeah, like I literally don't I haven't carried a wallet in
• 51:55
  [SPEAKER_08]: 15, 20 years, I'm afraid it is.
• 51:58
[SPEAKER_07]: I carry cat only means not carry cats and I see Chad do it too.
• 52:02
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, everybody's serving us, they'd rather have the cast chip instead of waiting for the come through my credit card, you know.
• 52:10
  [SPEAKER_07]: So,
• 52:10
[SPEAKER_07]: I like to pay if I feel like I'm on a spend of you know $100 somewhere.
• 52:15
[SPEAKER_07]: I want to lease have $20, $25 to tip in cash because they would rather take a cash tip home instead of waiting for that need to come through to the company.
• 52:27
[SPEAKER_07]: And it might be even less than that, you know.
• 52:29
[SPEAKER_07]: So that's that's only time I really carry cash, but everything else is always going to be on card, but I'm with you.
• 52:35
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a great point, two things, two great reasons to carry cash, one that, and I talked to somebody the other day when they charge that 15% the restaurant keeps part of their whatnot.
• 52:46
[SPEAKER_05]: So, the cash, you know that person can get that, though.
• 52:49
[SPEAKER_05]: It takes away that shadingness.
• 52:51
[SPEAKER_05]: And second, if you ever get into some legal trouble, remember those credit card receipts and whatnot, they can follow that.
• 52:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So, I'm not saying you guys were hanging out with me, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I'm not hanging out with you, but I
• 53:19
[SPEAKER_08]: There's this and dirt in my life.
• 53:20
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:23
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:24
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:25
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:26
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:27
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:28
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:29
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:31
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:32
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:35
[SPEAKER_06]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:37
[SPEAKER_07]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:38
[SPEAKER_07]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:41
[SPEAKER_07]: There's some dirt in my life.
• 53:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: Chris is progressing nicely.
• 53:45
[SPEAKER_00]: You saw him run yesterday.
• 53:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's accelerating, he's decelerating, he's able to cut.
• 53:50
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a credit to Chris, how hard he's worked.
• 53:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a credit to Kyle.
• 53:54
[SPEAKER_00]: or training staff, I think it's a credit to Todd, or strength staff, and you know, I would say this, I just, we want to be certain that he is ready, so he does not have setbacks early in his career.
• 54:09
[SPEAKER_00]: Is it going to be day-to-day?
• 54:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 54:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: Do I think it's going to be long-term?
• 54:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 54:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Does that answer the question exactly how you want it?
• 54:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: No.
• 54:23
  [SPEAKER_00]: You can say yes.
• 54:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 54:25
[SPEAKER_02]: You can see him at training camp or exhibition season, or can that be in situation where you're awake from a cautionary situation.
• 54:32
[SPEAKER_00]: It would be a huge benefit, right, to get him comfortable and if possible to play him in a preseason game before he has to actually go on playing real games, yeah, that would be huge.
• 54:42
[SPEAKER_00]: So I hope that happens, that would be amazing.
• 54:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm confident that will happen, I'm not sure yet, but that would be a very, very big benefit for him to start getting some work in a preseason game.
• 54:54
[SPEAKER_07]: So I am pleading to your, don't rush these young athletes back after a terrible knee injury, especially not in a fail.
• 55:04
[SPEAKER_07]: Greatness can be the rail in a hurry if you don't give that body to the time it needs to properly heal.
• 55:12
[SPEAKER_07]: Here we're talking about Chris Bell.
• 55:13
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's look at Chris Bell right now.
• 55:16
[SPEAKER_07]: Third round pick, Louisville, torn ACL late last season.
• 55:20
[SPEAKER_07]: Kim was putting up monster numbers that had people talking first round before that knee gave out.
• 55:26
[SPEAKER_07]: The town is real, the upside is real.
• 55:28
[SPEAKER_07]: And half-laying, John Eric Sullivan, they have both said it themselves.
• 55:33
[SPEAKER_07]: This is a long term investment.
• 55:36
  [SPEAKER_07]: They're being careful.
• 55:37
[SPEAKER_07]: They're not forcing the issue.
• 55:39
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's the right approach.
• 55:40
[SPEAKER_07]: Give this young man time, especially this year.
• 55:43
[SPEAKER_07]: Chris Bell has been looking great in his rehab during training camp.
• 55:47
  [SPEAKER_07]: We've all seen it.
• 55:48
[SPEAKER_07]: So far in camp that young, and we also seen that these young receivers like Caleb Douglas and AJ Henning have taken advantage of their opportunities and Chris's absence.
• 55:57
[SPEAKER_07]: Malik Washington continues to be the dude we all know and love.
• 56:01
[SPEAKER_07]: I see what happens when you don't survive.
• 56:11
[SPEAKER_07]: I saw all this post in it, this means fuck off.
• 56:18
[SPEAKER_07]: Why was someone, why would someone make such an assumption?
• 56:22
[SPEAKER_07]: My best friend, Kajana Carter was another one over all picking in 1995 draft.
• 56:27
[SPEAKER_07]: He was a B set Penn State, but injuries made it hard for him to prove himself at the next level.
• 56:33
[SPEAKER_07]: Unbeknownst to most Kajana was still able to get eight years in NFL, like every draft, April
• 56:44
  [SPEAKER_07]: as a bus.
• 56:46
[SPEAKER_07]: Here's a huge difference between a bus and bad luck in injury prone.
• 56:50
  [SPEAKER_07]: It drives me crazy.
• 56:52
[SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't say much about it, but it has to bother him.
• 56:56
[SPEAKER_07]: Now Chris Bell, as I said, was dropping a third round, but he had a first round draft grade before the injury.
• 57:03
[SPEAKER_07]: So he still has first round talent to me.
• 57:07
  [SPEAKER_07]: Now
• 57:08
[SPEAKER_07]: My guy, your tail green, first round pick, 15th overall, pick in 1977 draft.
• 57:17
[SPEAKER_07]: Out of university Miami, like I just posted that, so Voxelg guys, I saw him live in a person in camp.
• 57:23
[SPEAKER_07]: He was a beast, speed, size, explosion, the whole package.
• 57:29
[SPEAKER_07]: He could have been one of greatest draft picks and one of the best-wide receivers in Miami Dolphins history.
• 57:35
[SPEAKER_07]: Straight up, that kind of talent doesn't walk through the door very often.
• 57:39
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, one of my favorite people in the world, Jimmy Johnson, one of him on the field.
• 57:45
[SPEAKER_07]: The team needed that death thread.
• 57:46
[SPEAKER_07]: He would have helped me after minutes.
• 57:48
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, problems to you that.
• 57:50
  [SPEAKER_07]: They forced the issue.
• 57:52
[SPEAKER_07]: Pushed him back too soon after that.
• 57:54
[SPEAKER_07]: First major knee injury, then it happened again, ACL after ACL, multiple surgeries.
• 58:02
[SPEAKER_07]: By the time he finally got out there in the field, it was already too late, 18 catches.
• 58:08
[SPEAKER_07]: Career Basley over before he even started.
• 58:11
[SPEAKER_07]: All that talent wasted because the need never got the full recovery it needed.
• 58:17
[SPEAKER_07]: I still think about what you till could have been.
• 58:21
[SPEAKER_07]: Suxy never got the real chance to showcase those skills the way they were meant to be shown.
• 58:26
[SPEAKER_07]: And why G still feels that sting of what could have been.
• 58:31
[SPEAKER_07]: Me being on the Miami Dolphins alumni advisory board we can't get him to come back around because of that.
• 58:37
[SPEAKER_07]: and I'm trying to change that.
• 58:39
[SPEAKER_07]: Encourage him to get back in the fold.
• 58:44
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, you know, he could control his injuries.
• 58:49
[SPEAKER_07]: Definitely couldn't control how I was treated.
• 58:52
  [SPEAKER_07]: He's a great dude.
• 58:54
[SPEAKER_07]: That's why I say this out loud about Chris Bell, protect the investment, protect the kid, let the rehab finish, let the strength come back the right way.
• 59:04
[SPEAKER_07]: Don't put them in a position where one bad plant ends the story before it even starts, like my man, you till.
• 59:12
[SPEAKER_07]: Half the installment feel the same way I do I believe.
• 59:15
[SPEAKER_07]: You can hear it in how they're talking.
• 59:18
[SPEAKER_07]: They're not in the rush, and that's good.
• 59:21
  [SPEAKER_07]: keep it that way.
• 59:22
[SPEAKER_07]: Give the young man time, especially this year.
• 59:26
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll try to tell you all.
• 59:28
  [SPEAKER_06]: Nice work.
• 59:31
  [SPEAKER_08]: Could not agree more.
• 59:33
  [SPEAKER_08]: Could not agree more.
• 59:34
[SPEAKER_06]: In fact, I brought up UTL and as I said, I was watching Dibar earlier and they were talking about Chris Bell and could be back for the season to start and all this and I'm like, you guys clearly weren't at practice the day UTL went down.
• 59:45
  [SPEAKER_06]: All right, awesome stuff.
• 59:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Savak, do you have one?
• 59:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: No, I do not.
• 59:50
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, we're going to keep it moving fast as I love it.
• 59:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he will pass.
• 59:56
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I feel like yours was kind of tied in the most.
• 59:59
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I actually got one.
• 1:00:00
  [SPEAKER_05]: It's a quick one.
• 1:00:02
  [SPEAKER_05]: It's a quick one.
• 1:00:03
[SPEAKER_05]: I think you guys are going to like it.
• 1:00:05
[SPEAKER_05]: What's your favorite time of year?
• 1:00:07
  [SPEAKER_05]: I love Christmas New Year's Thanksgiving.
• 1:00:10
[SPEAKER_05]: What's your favorite time of year?
• 1:00:11
  [SPEAKER_05]: Just throw it out.
• 1:00:15
[SPEAKER_05]: my favorite time of year is fantasy football drastically.
• 1:00:20
[SPEAKER_05]: AJ has experiences with me.
• 1:00:23
[SPEAKER_05]: We have people flying one weekend.
• 1:00:27
  [SPEAKER_05]: We all get together.
• 1:00:29
[SPEAKER_05]: It is an incredible time.
• 1:00:31
[SPEAKER_05]: And while I was on this call, or while I was on the in the tank, in the tank, I just got a text of what is going to decide our draft order.
• 1:00:43
[SPEAKER_05]: at 11.30 a.m. the Royal Rumble Stars.
• 1:00:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Then we have a long snapping competition and then there's 10 question trivia and then it's time hot dog eating eat too hot
• 1:01:00
[SPEAKER_05]: It is the most ridiculous thing in the world.
• 1:01:03
[SPEAKER_05]: My guy shout out to Larry and Sean that put this together every year.
• 1:01:06
[SPEAKER_05]: It is so much fun.
• 1:01:08
[SPEAKER_05]: It's the only time, 12 guys, you're together and do stupid stuff and like argue over who's drafting who OJ was on the grill one year while I was helping you.
• 1:01:19
[SPEAKER_05]: And then in the next day we're developing, literally it is one of my favorite times of year.
• 1:01:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Who's the scout out to family fantasy football time?
• 1:01:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I try to tell y'all, fantasy football drag time is one of the best times of the year.
• 1:01:35
[SPEAKER_07]: Let me tell you guys this, let me tell you guys this, Chad does it like no other, you know Chad Chad owns a bunch of properties around South Florida, so they do the fancy football draft that one of his properties here and they do his his his gang of of guys, they they put something to get that run a rumble thing
• 1:01:57
  [SPEAKER_07]: what it does.
• 1:01:57
[SPEAKER_07]: It's a random, all the guys are in a royal, a rumble, like wrestling with all their caricatures in a rain and
• 1:02:08
[SPEAKER_07]: The last guy standing gets the first pick in the draft and then works your way down.
• 1:02:13
[SPEAKER_07]: It's, it's so random, it's crazy as hell, man.
• 1:02:16
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, these, these dudes are out of control, man.
• 1:02:18
[SPEAKER_07]: And like you said, guys flying in, they spend the weekend together.
• 1:02:22
[SPEAKER_07]: They, it's, they, I've never, like, back in the day, hard rock stadium, Joe Robby Stadium, whatever.
• 1:02:28
[SPEAKER_07]: Use a host, a lot of fancy drafts in all the sweets.
• 1:02:33
[SPEAKER_07]: So I do sweet visits where people are doing drafts, you know, but where they do it with van horn here.
• 1:02:42
[SPEAKER_07]: Man, that is special now.
• 1:02:44
[SPEAKER_07]: They've added some things obviously to the hot dog eating contest, you know, that zero chance that I'm going to even think about.
• 1:02:51
[SPEAKER_07]: Even I'm not on, I'm not in their fancy draft.
• 1:02:53
[SPEAKER_07]: Too many dudes that, you know, are too serious about it.
• 1:02:57
[SPEAKER_06]: But the hot dog eating contest, I think you didn't want to be in the hot dog eating contest.
• 1:03:00
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you know what, I'm a Joey just not fan, big set.
• 1:03:02
[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
• 1:03:04
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm going to take you down for the first 30 seconds.
• 1:03:06
[SPEAKER_07]: I can take you for the first 30 seconds, you know?
• 1:03:08
[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, that's good stuff, man.
• 1:03:11
[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm looking forward to fantasy football this year.
• 1:03:15
[SPEAKER_07]: And Chad, now you guys do a big, bro.
• 1:03:17
  [SPEAKER_07]: That's fun stuff.
• 1:03:18
  [SPEAKER_06]: Cool, cool.
• 1:03:19
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, we're going to keep it moving.
• 1:03:20
[SPEAKER_06]: Chris Perkins, what'd you try to tell us?
• 1:03:24
[SPEAKER_08]: I tried to tell y'all that it appears that culture change has come to the Miami Dolphins.
• 1:03:29
[SPEAKER_08]: And we can just go back recently to Jordan Boyer, say, and we knew that if we punched the dolphins in the mouth, they would fold.
• 1:03:38
[SPEAKER_08]: We can go back to Colleis Campbell, say, and the word around the league was their practices were a little bit easier than everybody else's, right?
• 1:03:46
[SPEAKER_08]: We saw the dolphins today kind of get punched in the mouth.
• 1:03:52
[SPEAKER_08]: up there in DC and they punch back.
• 1:03:55
[SPEAKER_08]: This wasn't like Detroit last year or Chicago where they were just stunned and they were kind of flailing a little bit.
• 1:04:03
[SPEAKER_08]: It seemed like the dolphins punch back today.
• 1:04:06
[SPEAKER_08]: Now, I like the way half talks
• 1:04:09
[SPEAKER_08]: And I like what I heard today, but I still want to see what some of these team leaders do as far as toughness in the trenches and physicality.
• 1:04:18
[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm talking to you Jordan Brooks and Zack Seeler and A-Rim Brewer and Patrick Paul and Kaden Proctor.
• 1:04:25
[SPEAKER_08]: I want to see what you guys have as far as toughness.
• 1:04:29
[SPEAKER_08]: but I like what I heard today.
• 1:04:31
[SPEAKER_08]: I think this franchise is turning a corner.
• 1:04:33
[SPEAKER_08]: Sully in half are serious about physicality.
• 1:04:37
[SPEAKER_08]: They're serious about running the ball.
• 1:04:39
[SPEAKER_08]: They're serious about playing good defense.
• 1:04:41
[SPEAKER_08]: I wasn't up in DC today, but what I heard.
• 1:04:45
[SPEAKER_08]: they may some progress on that front.
• 1:04:47
[SPEAKER_08]: Again, they're down in personal, such as in the secondary, such as with Zach Sealer being out, they got punched, they punch back.
• 1:04:57
[SPEAKER_08]: This is only one step in a long process, but it seems like there is culture change and more physicality coming to this team, I think is going to happen.
• 1:05:08
[SPEAKER_08]: I tried to tell you.
• 1:05:12
  [SPEAKER_08]: Let's go.
• 1:05:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: Perk, there it is.
• 1:05:14
  [SPEAKER_08]: Culture, let's see.
• 1:05:15
  [SPEAKER_08]: Let's see.
• 1:05:16
[SPEAKER_06]: But we got a new one.
• 1:05:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: Go, Perk.
• 1:05:17
  [SPEAKER_08]: Go, Perk.
• 1:05:19
  [SPEAKER_08]: That's it.
• 1:05:20
  [SPEAKER_08]: I think it's that.
• 1:05:21
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if this is culture related.
• 1:05:23
[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't really have anything prepared, but I've been meaning to get this off my chest.
• 1:05:26
[SPEAKER_06]: And I won't go for too long.
• 1:05:28
  [SPEAKER_06]: But I tried to tell y'all,
• 1:05:30
[SPEAKER_06]: to get your dolphins news from whoever the hell you want to get your dolphins news from.
• 1:05:34
[SPEAKER_06]: For each or plenty of career journalists who are out there producing great stuff, and I respect those guys.
• 1:05:43
[SPEAKER_06]: And everybody knows who they are.
• 1:05:45
[SPEAKER_06]: They've got a great following on Twitter, people are reading their stuff in their paper.
• 1:05:49
[SPEAKER_06]: They're listening to their podcasts, but there's room for other people to eat as well.
• 1:05:55
[SPEAKER_06]: And the reason their work is so popular
• 1:05:59
[SPEAKER_06]: who hasn't tasted anything as good as this darn coffee cake from Billet Valley of Bakery.
• 1:06:05
[SPEAKER_06]: And 25 years is still a rabid fan base.
• 1:06:09
[SPEAKER_06]: We still love our Miami Dolphins.
• 1:06:11
[SPEAKER_06]: We want to eat, sleep, talk about here, listen about our Miami Dolphins all day long.
• 1:06:17
[SPEAKER_06]: And so whether you want to go to Dolphins talk or dive bar or reason or Kyle F. and Krabs or Travis Wingfield who works for the team or you want to go to the
• 1:06:29
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't care if they were at practice or not.
• 1:06:31
[SPEAKER_06]: You can get all the information everywhere on the internet anymore.
• 1:06:35
[SPEAKER_06]: And people have opinions and they want to talk about this stuff.
• 1:06:38
[SPEAKER_06]: So I love you my beat guys.
• 1:06:40
[SPEAKER_06]: I worked with so many of you guys.
• 1:06:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Stop crying like you don't have to sit there and cry about who was that practice who wasn't that practice who you got to get your stuff from now I know if you want to protect your content because you feel it's being stolen without accreditation I get that but let's also not forget that you're getting paid to be there and you're double dipping on Twitter And you're double dipping on YouTube I don't know if you're tweeting out from your newspaper and then any money that you're making on Twitter You're cutting your paper in as well
• 1:07:12
[SPEAKER_06]: who fans want to get their content from, let people enjoy the Miami dolphins, however they want to enjoy their Miami dolphins.
• 1:07:22
[SPEAKER_06]: There's plenty of room for everybody to eat and everybody's following your content anyway, get your dolphins news from whoever the hell you want to get it from.
• 1:07:31
[SPEAKER_06]: I try to tell you all.
• 1:07:32
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, sir.
• 1:07:35
[SPEAKER_08]: You know what said I get support, you know, I'm not into all that, you know, I know Joe Sayad is very much into that.
• 1:07:41
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't call it any sense of mention.
• 1:07:44
[SPEAKER_08]: We know who we're talking about.
• 1:07:46
[SPEAKER_08]: We don't talk about it.
• 1:07:48
[SPEAKER_08]: But it's like I tell them, though, like if you really want to protect your content, don't tweet it out.
• 1:07:55
[SPEAKER_08]: like say that for the newspaper right there's so obsessed with being popular on Twitter that they give it away for free and it's like well no I'm not gonna buy a subscription to your paper because I get it for free on Twitter and then you put it out there and so everybody else eats off of it and you can't you can't be mad at the aggregators for eating off of your stuff because you put it out there
• 1:08:19
[SPEAKER_08]: So either don't put it out there where except that if I put it out there other people are going to use it for their ideas I have no problem where you get your dolphin stuff dolphins just say relevant that that's what I say that's all employees so we can all lead.
• 1:08:35
  [SPEAKER_05]: Perfect.
• 1:08:36
  [SPEAKER_05]: Perfect.
• 1:08:36
[SPEAKER_05]: What I love is a good teaser.
• 1:08:38
  [SPEAKER_05]: That's what that's what she.
• 1:08:39
  [SPEAKER_05]: That's what Twitter's for a good teaser.
• 1:08:40
  [SPEAKER_05]: I got this.
• 1:08:42
[SPEAKER_05]: I saw the best-fighted dolphins practice tonight.
• 1:08:45
  [SPEAKER_05]: Here's a link.
• 1:08:46
  [UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
• 1:08:46
  [UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
• 1:08:47
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
• 1:08:47
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
• 1:08:47
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
• 1:08:48
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
• 1:08:48
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 1:08:48
  [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
• 1:08:49
  [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
• 1:08:49
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 1:08:49
  [SPEAKER_05]: There's a different approach, right?
• 1:08:51
  [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, but don't.
• 1:08:52
[SPEAKER_06]: Chad, you know that remind me of the headline I read that we need Chris Furkin's written his self written headline about marino JT and Zach and Ken Ken H. How's it going to be there right now?
• 1:09:07
[SPEAKER_06]: It gets people's attention though.
• 1:09:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: It gets people's attention.
• 1:09:11
[SPEAKER_06]: You got a reaction out of you, Seth?
• 1:09:18
  [SPEAKER_06]: a provocative headline.
• 1:09:22
[SPEAKER_05]: They came out and said, uh, I'll take Antonio Brown all day over Jerry race and a whole thing.
• 1:09:29
  [SPEAKER_06]: Dude.
• 1:09:30
  [SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
• 1:09:32
  [SPEAKER_06]: Like I can't even maintain that.
• 1:09:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Where's Eddie McCoy from, Chad?
• 1:09:37
  [SPEAKER_06]: Pitsburg, Pennsylvania.
• 1:09:39
  [SPEAKER_06]: Hey, last one.
• 1:09:40
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 1:09:40
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 1:09:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 1:09:43
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 1:09:43
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 1:09:44
  [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
• 1:09:45
[SPEAKER_06]: We got one more and then we'll get everybody out here.
• 1:09:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Michael, leave a bring us home.
• 1:09:49
[SPEAKER_06]: What did you try to tell us?
• 1:09:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
• 1:09:51
[SPEAKER_03]: So last week I had like a, you know, I had a nice one talking about my friend, Frank the tank, very heartfelt.
• 1:09:58
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 1:09:58
[SPEAKER_03]: This one ain't going to be that close.
• 1:10:00
  [SPEAKER_03]: This one's a polar opposite.
• 1:10:01
[SPEAKER_03]: I tried to tell y'all that the Buffalo Bells are a garbage organization, their fans are garbage, and they play in a garbage city, and they haven't even played a game yet this year, and their fancy new stadium is Guess what?
• 1:10:16
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's garbage too.
• 1:10:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: A stadium mind you, they're costing 2.2.
• 1:10:20
[SPEAKER_03]: Billion dollars and was one billion dollars over budget.
• 1:10:24
[SPEAKER_03]: What should have been a red flag there?
• 1:10:25
[SPEAKER_03]: No clue what the hell they were doing when they were putting this thing up.
• 1:10:28
[SPEAKER_03]: And it couldn't happen to a nicer group of assholes.
• 1:10:31
[SPEAKER_03]: These clueless bastards couldn't figure out how to do the one thing this country does right.
• 1:10:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Bill fancy news stadiums in America.
• 1:10:39
  [SPEAKER_03]: We can't fix immigration.
• 1:10:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: We can't fix healthcare.
• 1:10:42
[SPEAKER_03]: We can't stop mass shootings at schools.
• 1:10:44
[SPEAKER_03]: We can't lower the price of it of ex or gas.
• 1:10:48
[SPEAKER_03]: We can build a billion dollar fancy new luxury stadium so fight that open in 2020.
• 1:10:54
[SPEAKER_03]: They figured out how to build a fancy new stadium.
• 1:10:56
[SPEAKER_03]: The Raiders, they had one open also in 2020.
• 1:11:00
[SPEAKER_03]: They figured out how to build a fancy new stadium.
• 1:11:02
[SPEAKER_03]: The Falcons in 2017, the Vikings in 2016.
• 1:11:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Stanford, Cisco in 2014, all of them figured out how to build a fancy new state of the art stadium.
• 1:11:13
  [SPEAKER_03]: Not in Buffalo though.
• 1:11:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: They fucked it up.
• 1:11:16
[SPEAKER_03]: How soldier field opened up in 1924 and that stadium two day in 2026 has better sight lines than that piece of craft the bills opened up this past weekend.
• 1:11:27
[SPEAKER_03]: The bills are next level stupid.
• 1:11:30
[SPEAKER_03]: But what do you expect from it from an organization that embraces its fan base just to get usified drunk and jump through tables in a parking lot
• 1:11:42
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't even call them jumbo drives.
• 1:11:44
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like they sent someone to a sale at a best buy and told them to get 255 TV's, they just put them side by side in each other.
• 1:11:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Jerry Jones is a scoreboard.
• 1:11:54
[SPEAKER_03]: You can see from outer space.
• 1:11:55
[SPEAKER_03]: The bills fans are gonna have to head to the games and make sure their iPhones are charged so they can watch replays on their phone.
• 1:12:01
[SPEAKER_03]: You got railings in the site view of so many seats, people lost count.
• 1:12:05
[SPEAKER_03]: There's more obstructed seats in that place than there are championship banners.
• 1:12:10
[SPEAKER_03]: People spend a ton of money.
• 1:12:12
[SPEAKER_03]: For expensive PSLs, because they thought they were going to be protected by the rain.
• 1:12:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Guess what happened last weekend when they had a practice there?
• 1:12:19
[SPEAKER_03]: People got rained on in those PSLs.
• 1:12:22
[SPEAKER_03]: They spent $2.2 billion on this piece of garbage.
• 1:12:25
[SPEAKER_03]: You got fans sitting in the upper deck.
• 1:12:28
[SPEAKER_03]: They were like touching a seat shaking it.
• 1:12:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Like they weren't even down into the concrete.
• 1:12:34
  [SPEAKER_03]: They're all loose.
• 1:12:36
[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, it's part of the course though, for anything associated with the Buffalo bills or the city of Buffalo, I get asked all the time.
• 1:12:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Why am I a fan of the mind you'd often living in Syracuse, New York?
• 1:12:47
[SPEAKER_03]: How did I become a fan of the dolphins?
• 1:12:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Why are two fans of bills, they're right, you know, not that far away.
• 1:12:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I will tell you why living around these lunatics even in the early 80s.
• 1:12:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I saw something was off with these people when I was a little Mike at five or six years old, I realized fans of the bills are nuts.
• 1:13:03
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to be associated with them in any way shame or form.
• 1:13:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I turned on my I had, you know You had just three channels back in the day in the 80s.
• 1:13:14
[SPEAKER_03]: I turned that saw damn arena throwing for 45, you know
• 1:13:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Pistol for all these touchdowns, they're going to the Super Bowl.
• 1:13:23
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's my guy, that's my team.
• 1:13:25
[SPEAKER_03]: That's why I wrote for the Miami Dolphins.
• 1:13:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, if you've ever spent time in this city, it truly sucks the city of Buffalo.
• 1:13:33
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a general smell of bad shampoo and monkey turds.
• 1:13:38
[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, friend of this podcast, because I've been in my before many times.
• 1:13:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Craig Martin, who's from WFPN in New York City.
• 1:13:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: He once said,
• 1:13:46
[SPEAKER_03]: All they are known for up there in the city of Buffalo is chicken wings and fat chicks.
• 1:13:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: Well, these half right.
• 1:13:53
[SPEAKER_03]: The fat chick part, yes, spot on.
• 1:13:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Good call, Craigy.
• 1:13:56
[SPEAKER_03]: The wings are a little overrated for being honest.
• 1:13:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Some of those are so dry.
• 1:14:00
[SPEAKER_03]: You got to eat them in the rain because you got to get them juicy.
• 1:14:03
[SPEAKER_03]: But here's the one thing about what we have in the live up here.
• 1:14:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: There's wagmans.
• 1:14:08
[SPEAKER_03]: And if you don't know what that is, if you don't live in the state of New York or up here in the Northeast, wagmans is like the greatest supermarket on planet Earth.
• 1:14:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, and during football season though, I got to admit it kind of sucks.
• 1:14:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Because you walk into wagmans, and here's what I'm putting up with.
• 1:14:24
[SPEAKER_03]: You got, let me show you this.
• 1:14:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Josh Allen bar review sauce.
• 1:14:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 1:14:28
[SPEAKER_03]: So that you got Josh Allen coffee.
• 1:14:30
[SPEAKER_03]: You got to put up with that Josh Allen snicker sauce.
• 1:14:32
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know what the fuck that is.
• 1:14:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Then we got Josh Allen cereal.
• 1:14:36
[SPEAKER_03]: This is the MVP puffs kind.
• 1:14:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Then you got Josh Allen cereal, running blue jabs.
• 1:14:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's another kind.
• 1:14:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Then we got a third kind of Josh Allen cereal.
• 1:14:45
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how many fucking pieces of cereal.
• 1:14:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: Bill's fans got it.
• 1:14:49
[SPEAKER_03]: This is a cocoa corn crutch.
• 1:14:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Then if you don't want nothing with Josh Allen, you got the James cookie doesn't sell it wagments.
• 1:14:55
[SPEAKER_03]: You got a little cream and then if you get a sub-attractance and no fancy one down there it's way better than the ones they sell the Publix it just through and give it to you in this piece of crap type of packaging.
• 1:15:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: I love it
• 1:15:09
[SPEAKER_03]: I, you can't get away from these people, and what means you're like 99 out of 100 with everything you do, if you want to be 100 out of 100, just stop associated yourself with the Buffalo Bill.
• 1:15:18
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, I am happy if not overjoyed that the Buffalo Bill's wasted $2.2 billion on a piece of shit stadium that their own fans don't even like it, hasn't been really open yet.
• 1:15:28
[SPEAKER_03]: I can't laugh at your team right now because they're light years way better than the Miami Dolphins, but I can't laugh that your organization
• 1:15:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Everything about the organization, the fans and the city itself of Buffalo is garbage I'm surrounded by these people.
• 1:15:46
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm forced to live amongst these people this week was my Super Bowl Buffalo sucks.
• 1:15:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: I tried to tell y'all.
• 1:15:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, thank you.
• 1:15:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Can I quickly try to change your mind?
• 1:15:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Have you seen the broken table in the stadium?
• 1:16:00
[SPEAKER_05]: No, that does not rain.
• 1:16:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, let me just ask you.
• 1:16:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do shopping through tables.
• 1:16:05
  [SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
• 1:16:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't get the trouble to take a break.
• 1:16:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, hey, let's not bury the lead.
• 1:16:11
[SPEAKER_05]: The waveman's sub really better than the pumps.
• 1:16:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's not even in the same ballpark.
• 1:16:16
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we need a taste as we got caught.
• 1:16:18
[SPEAKER_03]: I did it last year because when I went down there last October, I never had one before from publics.
• 1:16:23
[SPEAKER_07]: Not bad, but they know why I'm so I'm gonna say well, you know what Mike that you need to get those sit our way, man That's great how preserve Yes, I we need we need a sense We need to see I'm the ones who figured out how to ship it Gonna get a lot of dry ice
• 1:16:45
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, there it is.
• 1:16:47
  [SPEAKER_06]: There it is.
• 1:16:48
  [SPEAKER_06]: There it is.
• 1:16:48
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, there's a reason I don't go last anymore and that was it fantastic word by everybody, but Michael, I mean, you know, you can rip on the Buffalo bills any time that you want right here on fish tank line.
• 1:17:00
  [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, that will.
• 1:17:02
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
• 1:17:31
[SPEAKER_06]: uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh...
• 1:17:43
  [SPEAKER_06]: on that.
• 1:17:43
[SPEAKER_06]: It'll just take over the election.
• 1:17:45
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do that.
• 1:17:46
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do that.
• 1:17:47
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:48
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:49
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:50
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:51
[SPEAKER_06]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:52
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:53
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:53
[UNKNOWN]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:54
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:55
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:56
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:56
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to do right.
• 1:17:58
