- 0:26Speaker 2: Emily and Jamie are here, ladies. We've got our buffs on. Jamie.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I think it's a napkin. I'm not sure it is.
- 0:34Speaker 3: It's a napkin from a place called Home Goods.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Heard of it.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Emily, Welcome back into representing Team Drama Darling.
- 0:47Speaker 5: Yes, I played the middle the entire game and I
- 0:53Speaker 5: hope it helps me at the final tribal with the jury.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Well done, well done. Wow, guys, this is so exciting.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I can't believe we made it to the end. And
- 1:02Speaker 2: a gorgeous, cute little after show which was.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Lovely Pizza Party. It goes by fast, doesn't it, gals,
- 1:10Speaker 3: the old Survivor. It's the opposite of Love Island. I
- 1:13Speaker 3: can't explain it, but I'm.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Telling you it does.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I can explain it. Love Islands like
- 1:19Speaker 5: every single day, Yeah, in the Summons to your life.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but like this is twenty four days, right, twenty
- 1:28Speaker 2: five twenty four to twenty five days, so I mean, yeah,
- 1:33Speaker 2: that's a significant amount of time. Obviously, if you make
- 1:35Speaker 2: it to the finals, but like you know, I mean,
- 1:38Speaker 2: it's pretty amazing how they kept that their perseverance and
- 1:42Speaker 2: their energy.
- 1:43Speaker 6: I don't.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I mean, Joe is just gaunt, wilted away to nothing, gaunt.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I found out. I didn't realize he's married to.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Kate Christiansen, a former WNBA player and current sport castor.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's got some money. I feel less bad
- 2:06Speaker 3: he's got money.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel less bad.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Also, I mean he's not got the I mean it's
- 2:11Speaker 5: like I keep it on like a local level, like
- 2:14Speaker 5: she's doing. Okay, okay, but yeah, I don't think that
- 2:19Speaker 5: it's It's not like.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Rebecca Lobo or Sue Bird money.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Like listen to these names popping out her mouth like Thompson,
- 2:30Speaker 2: what about Trick Shelby? Swizzle swizzle my girl local clean
- 2:38Speaker 2: swizz it swizzle a little bit. Okay, you guys, let's
- 2:43Speaker 2: all congratulate the winner of Season forty eight survivor Kyle.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Wow, I was happy about But I gotta say I
- 2:56Speaker 5: really wanted Joe to win in the end, and I
- 3:00Speaker 5: would not believe he only got one vote. Shocked like stunned.
- 3:07Speaker 3: As the as the resident Survivor expert, I must tell
- 3:11Speaker 3: you one thing first and foremost never in the in
- 3:15Speaker 3: the long time. I guess i'd say was I unsure
- 3:18Speaker 3: of who would win, because I thought Eva's plea at
- 3:21Speaker 3: the end was pretty compelling as well, and I also
- 3:24Speaker 3: shockingly wanted Joe to win, but I also wanted Kyle
- 3:28Speaker 3: to win, and I also wanted even to win.
- 3:30Speaker 6: I never feel that way. Usually, Yeah, usually.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Gets a final three. There's one ding dong who you
- 3:37Speaker 3: know is not getting it. You're just like, good luck, Carol,
- 3:40Speaker 3: You're off.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Right, Jeff said, like, it's so rare for there to
- 3:47Speaker 2: be that many, that many differing votes.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Then I was like, oh wow, it's a landslide.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Usually the freaking landslide that is not.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I was very torn too, Jamie. I don't know how
- 3:59Speaker 2: I'd love for each of us to go down our journey.
- 4:01Speaker 2: But when they got to their final plea, I mean,
- 4:05Speaker 2: everyone's was so great, and Kyle's was succinct. It was
- 4:10Speaker 2: very lawyer esque, obviously, and he just had, as you said,
- 4:14Speaker 2: like a very compelling argument and it was great. Joe's
- 4:18Speaker 2: was everything you'd want Joe's to be, fantastic, and I
- 4:22Speaker 2: was shocked that Eva's was as good as it was
- 4:25Speaker 2: to almost sway me to be like, maybe she's right,
- 4:28Speaker 2: maybe she should be the face of forty eight. Like
- 4:30Speaker 2: I don't know. Now I'm torn, but I still kind
- 4:35Speaker 2: of did go back to Kyle or Joe. Kyle or Joe.
- 4:38Speaker 2: At some point I did leave Eva behind and then
- 4:42Speaker 2: say I do want it, And then I was like,
- 4:44Speaker 2: I think I want it to be Joe. But then
- 4:46Speaker 2: if you really look at all the game playing, I
- 4:49Speaker 2: feel like it should be Kyle. But I was so torn.
- 4:52Speaker 2: What was your experience, Emily, Well.
- 4:54Speaker 5: I mean, if you're gonna the thing is like it
- 4:58Speaker 5: seemed to be the jury when it's people wanted authenticity
- 5:02Speaker 5: or something. That's what they kept kind of going back to,
- 5:03Speaker 5: and I was like, okay, And then in Eva's argument,
- 5:06Speaker 5: She's like, I've been the same person this whole time.
- 5:08Speaker 4: I haven't changed.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I'm like, you literally just listed down a one hundred
- 5:12Speaker 5: different PhDs that you're attaining, like you are somehow affiliated
- 5:19Speaker 5: with the Navy, Like I don't even know all the
- 5:22Speaker 5: things that you've accomplished at this point in terms of
- 5:24Speaker 5: that list, which was very impressive, but it's but I'm
- 5:30Speaker 5: just saying it actually made me really want Joe, because
- 5:35Speaker 5: I was like, this guy's a firefighter.
- 5:38Speaker 2: He was.
- 5:41Speaker 5: He played this game exactly who he was the entire game.
- 5:45Speaker 5: And he really didn't compromise, right, if you're gonna go
- 5:49Speaker 5: with that logic in that but so that's that was
- 5:54Speaker 5: like he wouldn't even compromise to lie about what he
- 5:57Speaker 5: did as gameplay. And so I really thought, well, then
- 6:02Speaker 5: why is to that end?
- 6:05Speaker 4: I'm like, it's going to be Joe and I wanted Joe.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Why didn't people vote more for Joe because Cedric was
- 6:13Speaker 2: the only one?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Well, I'll tell you I and this is the part
- 6:17Speaker 3: of it that's hard to explain. It's jury loyalties anykay
- 6:26Speaker 3: light light grudge holding and jury loyalties. And so Kyle
- 6:32Speaker 3: people were resentful of Joe from the beginning because he
- 6:35Speaker 3: was winning everything and Kyle just made more friends and
- 6:38Speaker 3: Kyle was on You have to think Kyle was on
- 6:41Speaker 3: a team with almost all of the jury because they're
- 6:44Speaker 3: the ones who kept getting voted out because the dominant three.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Somehow Kyle weaseled in with Shaheen, No, David, Shaheen, Joe
- 6:54Speaker 3: Eva were all on one tribe right as I remember it. Yeah,
- 7:00Speaker 3: And somehow Kyle got in on that, which is again
- 7:04Speaker 3: a reason enough to give it to him anyway, then
- 7:07Speaker 3: you have his secret alliance. But all the people on
- 7:10Speaker 3: the jury were Kyle stands a lot of them. I'm
- 7:15Speaker 3: shocked Joe didn't win his platform, would being I never
- 7:17Speaker 3: even lied about what I do like all these other people.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But like, so to your point, we've got David who
- 7:25Speaker 2: didn't vote for Joe, which I can understand because he
- 7:29Speaker 2: did feel burned by him. So that's a grudge, clear grudge.
- 7:34Speaker 2: But if leading up until that point they were on
- 7:39Speaker 2: the same team, so I don't know, I would have
- 7:42Speaker 2: thought David maybe would have come around. And then Shaheen
- 7:45Speaker 2: s so mad at Joe.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, did you all notice when he's doing the ring
- 7:50Speaker 3: thing that I yes, I did notice.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I was like, it cannot be would vote for Joe.
- 7:59Speaker 5: I just thought that was weird. But I think out
- 8:03Speaker 5: of maybe respect, I would love to hear. But it
- 8:06Speaker 5: did seem like when they laid out there, when Camilla
- 8:09Speaker 5: and Kyle laid out why they got rid of Shaheen,
- 8:14Speaker 5: Shaheen was just like respect and.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Loves the gameplay and he likes he liked what Kyle
- 8:21Speaker 2: did behind the scenes, that he didn't know about, and
- 8:24Speaker 2: so he's going back to his authentic Survivor fandom passion
- 8:29Speaker 2: and giving it to him I guess. But it's weird
- 8:31Speaker 2: because he had a connection with Joe and they were
- 8:33Speaker 2: so tight it. I don't know, I feel like that's
- 8:36Speaker 2: a bad I would feel very slighted if I was
- 8:39Speaker 2: Joe to see Shaheen vote for Kyle, I would be
- 8:41Speaker 2: really pissed.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Well, and I just said something I misspoke. I don't
- 8:44Speaker 3: think Shaheen voted out of a grudge. I think he
- 8:47Speaker 3: voted out of pure respect for Kyle's gameplay. And I
- 8:50Speaker 3: ended up really liking Shaheen by the end, I really did.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I was like, I like that guy.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah, David, I mean, did you slow play a bang?
- 9:01Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's hilarious. I mean, I mean it
- 9:05Speaker 2: was pretty funny and and he did what the reveal
- 9:09Speaker 2: was It could have been better, I don't know, than
- 9:12Speaker 2: knock knock joke.
- 9:12Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 9:13Speaker 5: I'm not bad, Like, was he thinking of that knock
- 9:16Speaker 5: knock joke for three weeks?
- 9:17Speaker 2: Like?
- 9:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I think so you liked it? Yeah I liked it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that he revealed that he wasn't mad
- 9:26Speaker 2: and now it makes so much sense. It's it's fun.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I would have liked to have been him, been genuinely mad,
- 9:32Speaker 2: I guess in the end, but it's nice to see
- 9:35Speaker 2: that he was playing so good for him.
- 9:37Speaker 3: It was so cute because it's like he really had
- 9:40Speaker 3: me believing he. I was like, because I remember the
- 9:43Speaker 3: beginning really liking him. I was like, he was such
- 9:44Speaker 3: a fun loving guy than all that angry muggin on
- 9:46Speaker 3: the jury. So when he goes knock knock, and by
- 9:49Speaker 3: the way, we've seen on Survivor some very this whole
- 9:52Speaker 3: group was some lovey doveies. Because there's been times where
- 9:57Speaker 3: we've seen some people on the jury who were like
- 10:00Speaker 3: me man, and I don't appreciate it, you know, like
- 10:02Speaker 3: there's been the people who are upset. So David looking
- 10:06Speaker 3: upset wasn't out of the realm of possibility. So when
- 10:08Speaker 3: he went knock knock, I was like, oh my god,
- 10:11Speaker 3: Like I knew it was cheesy, but I thought he
- 10:12Speaker 3: was gonna be like, knock knock, your traders open the
- 10:18Speaker 3: door mid day, Like I just was really you know, dramatic.
- 10:23Speaker 6: And so when he splipped and he wasn't mad at all,
- 10:26Speaker 6: I thought that was so cute, like they were.
- 10:29Speaker 4: It's even like Jeff was like, I was like, get
- 10:33Speaker 4: over it.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, Jeff was so mad.
- 10:36Speaker 6: My god, hold on one second, everyone pod.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, So Jamie's back. But yes, so the
- 10:46Speaker 2: acting what were what were we talking about?
- 10:49Speaker 4: Oh, Jeff reacting to David. We've hit it. We could
- 10:53Speaker 4: we could just move on.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Okay, let's well, why don't we discuss pretty much anything else?
- 11:01Speaker 6: Okay, so let's start at that.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Let's start at that my person challenge with the Oh yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 3: that was amazing.
- 11:11Speaker 4: The Mud, Camilla, Yes, and the Mud.
- 11:15Speaker 6: They were really in it.
- 11:16Speaker 3: And I texted you gals because I was like, Jeff
- 11:18Speaker 3: is a savage, because Jeff was like, and here's Camilla
- 11:20Speaker 3: bringing up the end as usual.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, he is he really is. He's like
- 11:27Speaker 2: and always in last place, Camilla. That's what we call her,
- 11:30Speaker 2: behind and the crew, last place Camilla. And the game
- 11:34Speaker 2: is not over yet, Camilla. You probably won't win, but
- 11:37Speaker 2: keep trying, though.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Have they ever had to cut anyone out of those nets, Jamie?
- 11:42Speaker 5: Because I'm like, you could like have a panic attack
- 11:45Speaker 5: and drown in that.
- 11:46Speaker 6: I was thinking that too, I would have a one
- 11:50Speaker 6: panic attack.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Well, I think that you would not go on this
- 11:53Speaker 2: show if you were susceptible to that type of thing, because.
- 11:56Speaker 6: He going on this show point play period.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Period does But like the mud and the net, I
- 12:01Speaker 2: was absolutely having a reaction just watching it. I don't
- 12:06Speaker 2: know how they did that a twisting net And have
- 12:10Speaker 2: they done that before? So if they're at home they
- 12:13Speaker 2: can practice that.
- 12:15Speaker 4: I know they've done that challenge before.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I don't know done that challenge at home? I mean, sorry,
- 12:21Speaker 3: they can't practice that, but how would you?
- 12:23Speaker 6: How could you?
- 12:24Speaker 5: Well, like you know, like American Ninja Warrior, they have
- 12:27Speaker 5: like gyms. Oh yeah, so I'm wondering if they have
- 12:31Speaker 5: like people have like survivor stuff set up, even if
- 12:35Speaker 5: it's like in their yard.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Oh man, Oh they do, yeah, they do, they do.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 3: So puzzles people really in these later seasons Jesus Christ,
- 12:49Speaker 3: sorry everyone. People in these later seasons are expecting and
- 12:53Speaker 3: knowing things that are going to happen, and so they
- 12:56Speaker 3: practice for puzzles. They practice for everything. In the beginning seasons,
- 13:00Speaker 3: they had no idea. They were rolling out new games
- 13:03Speaker 3: left and right.
- 13:03Speaker 6: So even this.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Season with the animals on the posts and every on
- 13:08Speaker 3: the trees. I don't remember that until this season.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Well, I do want to also circle back to when
- 13:15Speaker 2: we first began this episode, immediately after the tribal and
- 13:21Speaker 2: Joe is questioning, you know, he says to Eva like
- 13:26Speaker 2: he doesn't know if Kyle played them or you know,
- 13:30Speaker 2: he's not sure, and Eva's like, no, I think you know,
- 13:32Speaker 2: he's fine. I totally believe him. And that just was
- 13:35Speaker 2: such an interesting place to be in because he clearly
- 13:38Speaker 2: was questioning its possibility. And so Joe his antennas were
- 13:42Speaker 2: up from the jump and he was led down that path.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Can I just also ask you guys that so Shaheen
- 13:52Speaker 2: didn't before the jury voted, Shaheen didn't find out at
- 13:58Speaker 2: that point that he was set up, that that that
- 14:01Speaker 2: Kyle set up Joe to do that. Joe Eva like
- 14:04Speaker 2: before he voted, say again.
- 14:09Speaker 5: No, they talked through when when the when they were
- 14:12Speaker 5: on the jury, they talked through the Shaheen exit, and
- 14:17Speaker 5: it was very hard to follow, even though I watched
- 14:21Speaker 5: it and knew what they were saying, I had a
- 14:24Speaker 5: really hard time following the edit or whatever that was
- 14:29Speaker 5: were Camilla Kyle. First of all, Joe and Eva explained
- 14:33Speaker 5: what they thought happened. Camilla says to Kyle, I got you, yeah,
- 14:38Speaker 5: and then they explain how they worked Joe and Eva
- 14:42Speaker 5: over to get Shaheen out and off. Obviously Mitch was
- 14:46Speaker 5: involved with that too, but didn't realize it, but it
- 14:50Speaker 5: was it was hard to follow, and I'm like, how
- 14:52Speaker 5: are they following this with no food?
- 14:55Speaker 4: No?
- 14:55Speaker 2: I think that, Like, That's why I'm glad that you
- 14:58Speaker 2: reminded me. I just couldn't remember if that happened during
- 15:01Speaker 2: the jury or in the after show because then that
- 15:04Speaker 2: again it makes me be mad at Shaheen that he
- 15:06Speaker 2: didn't vote for Joe again based on knowing that he
- 15:11Speaker 2: was set up because Joe didn't turn on him. But
- 15:13Speaker 2: again it goes back to the respect. Sorry, okay, And
- 15:17Speaker 2: then I.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Must say, you're absolutely right, though there wasn't a lot
- 15:19Speaker 3: of anger on behalf of Shaheen nor Joe once they
- 15:23Speaker 3: found out that Kyle flipped on them, which I thought
- 15:25Speaker 3: was interesting. Also, it wasn't the way that it got
- 15:28Speaker 3: brought up, because because Camille is saying Kyle, I got you.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna say it, and YadA YadA, back and forth,
- 15:34Speaker 3: She's going you yeah and uh and then but then
- 15:41Speaker 3: when it was revealed, I didn't think that it packed
- 15:43Speaker 3: as much of a punch as I thought.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It would, right, I mean, they would feel that they
- 15:48Speaker 2: planned that and that they were a duo.
- 15:51Speaker 6: They did.
- 15:51Speaker 4: The jury did.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Seem like kind of shocked, but not as shocked as
- 15:56Speaker 2: we thought. And they were like, no, we're the best
- 15:59Speaker 2: duo because we were doing this behind the scenes, and
- 16:01Speaker 2: they're like, yeah, cool, so anyway you know.
- 16:06Speaker 6: You want to.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I can't believe how many times Eva won, you know,
- 16:11Speaker 2: like she got she did that puzzle loc thing at
- 16:14Speaker 2: the very beginning before the mud net balls nets challenge,
- 16:18Speaker 2: and she got another advantage, like another one. She must be,
- 16:22Speaker 2: is she, Jamie, like the luckiest player you've seen. She's
- 16:25Speaker 2: want a ton to be.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Honestly, she she without knowing it, between her her beautiful
- 16:32Speaker 3: honesty and the inability to be a sinister bitch like myself.
- 16:38Speaker 3: She was just very clean and open. Then all the
- 16:42Speaker 3: things she won, aligning herself with literally the most loyal
- 16:46Speaker 3: man on earth, which, by the way, Joe, for the
- 16:49Speaker 3: rest of his life will be treated with such respect
- 16:51Speaker 3: and love by every.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Stranger he meets on the street.
- 16:54Speaker 5: I mean that what he said when he said that
- 16:59Speaker 5: Eva gave him the opportunity to show the world who
- 17:01Speaker 5: he really is.
- 17:03Speaker 6: I cried. Yeah, that was like, you know, I just
- 17:06Speaker 6: on my toe. I just had some my toe. But
- 17:08Speaker 6: I also was crying. That was sweet. It was a
- 17:12Speaker 6: really sweet you know. He I really do think he
- 17:14Speaker 6: is that guy. And I think his.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Sister's death has him feeling like he has to be
- 17:22Speaker 3: better about saving people and helping people, you know what
- 17:25Speaker 3: I mean, Like he just he just he just seems
- 17:28Speaker 3: like a stand up guy.
- 17:29Speaker 6: I would be shocked if someone said, oh and also
- 17:32Speaker 6: he hasn't a you know, he beat up a man
- 17:35Speaker 6: and broke his face. Like, I just don't think he's
- 17:37Speaker 6: like that.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Well Joe is probably it seems like Joe has not
- 17:42Speaker 5: just his sister, Like some some shit has gone down
- 17:45Speaker 5: that in Joe's life, you know what I mean, Like
- 17:47Speaker 5: that's the vibe I get.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Also, like he's his he and his wife. Are they
- 17:55Speaker 4: divorced and reconciled?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Yeah, So.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I'm like, some Joe Joe, there's something he's had a life.
- 18:07Speaker 2: So yeah, well, I you know, when he was like
- 18:10Speaker 2: talking about his duo and his relationship with Eva, like
- 18:14Speaker 2: you said, I had written that exact thing down that
- 18:16Speaker 2: he had said at the end, which I thought was
- 18:18Speaker 2: really really great, But he also in many ways was
- 18:21Speaker 2: trying to communicate like this was not an alliance, this
- 18:26Speaker 2: was a humanity connection. And so it's hard to draw
- 18:34Speaker 2: the line between those two things because they merge, you
- 18:37Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. But I think I was getting
- 18:39Speaker 2: the feeling from him that he was in a position
- 18:44Speaker 2: that he was somewhat trying to distance himself from essentially
- 18:48Speaker 2: from the game, and maybe also to say to the
- 18:52Speaker 2: jurors like, look, I didn't just do this out of
- 18:55Speaker 2: an alliance. I did this because I'm human and I
- 18:58Speaker 2: knew that I was going to be loyal to her
- 19:00Speaker 2: as a person, but I wasn't seeking that and I
- 19:04Speaker 2: didn't choose that. I don't know, did you guys get
- 19:07Speaker 2: a vibe. I know that they love each other, but
- 19:09Speaker 2: did you ever get a vibe? Or he was kind
- 19:11Speaker 2: of like, well, I didn't ask for this, like day one,
- 19:14Speaker 2: now I have to like look out for this person.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Never got that.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Okay, you didn't vibe.
- 19:19Speaker 4: If anything, it as Joe. I really do think that
- 19:24Speaker 4: is who he is.
- 19:24Speaker 5: And he was relieved that he could focus on Eva
- 19:29Speaker 5: because I think he is a caretaker at his core,
- 19:32Speaker 5: and I think that is something that he was like,
- 19:35Speaker 5: like what he I think he enjoyed it.
- 19:37Speaker 2: So I think that he didn't expect to have to
- 19:40Speaker 2: utilize that aspect of his That's true, he didn't know
- 19:44Speaker 2: coming right, so coming in I could see him being like,
- 19:48Speaker 2: I mean, obviously it all worked out amazing, and he
- 19:51Speaker 2: is happy and just delighted the way that it worked out,
- 19:53Speaker 2: and he has no regrets. However, I could see him
- 19:57Speaker 2: at some point in the beginning being like, Okay, I
- 20:00Speaker 2: came into this as I wanted to play the game,
- 20:03Speaker 2: not necessarily utilize my heart and the aspects of myself
- 20:07Speaker 2: that make me me. So I think that's why his
- 20:11Speaker 2: comment at the end of the show was so profound,
- 20:14Speaker 2: because I don't think he anticipated or even intended or
- 20:19Speaker 2: wanted to play the way he ended up having to play,
- 20:23Speaker 2: which was completely shoehorned into being this person who was
- 20:28Speaker 2: loyal to his core and a protector. Because I think
- 20:31Speaker 2: that he would have just said been more for himself
- 20:35Speaker 2: or played a little bit harder. You know, you don't think.
- 20:37Speaker 4: I don't think that's him.
- 20:38Speaker 5: He said, I don't have it in meat a lot
- 20:40Speaker 5: to do, like to play the game in the way
- 20:43Speaker 5: that people play survivor.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Okay, well, I.
- 20:46Speaker 6: Believe that he.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I believe that he would have played the same game Amy,
- 20:51Speaker 3: but he had a papoose on his back now that
- 20:53Speaker 3: he was not expecting that's passing. I think he was
- 20:56Speaker 3: going to play it loyal and honest no matter what.
- 21:00Speaker 3: I bet he said that even before he left his house,
- 21:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna go in there and do what I do. Family,
- 21:05Speaker 3: and they're all like, we love you, daddy. And then
- 21:08Speaker 3: and then he got there, and then here's this person
- 21:10Speaker 3: who's like, I need you to have my back, and
- 21:12Speaker 3: he's like, well, you picked the number.
- 21:13Speaker 6: I mean, how did she know? Because you know what
- 21:16Speaker 6: she picked.
- 21:17Speaker 2: There are the hottest, strongest guy on the island. I mean,
- 21:21Speaker 2: she's not stupid. She got her undergraduate at Georgia Jesus Brown.
- 21:27Speaker 2: She's an engineer, Like she's a genius. She's not stupid. Okay, God.
- 21:31Speaker 4: My hunch is that Joe would have caretake.
- 21:33Speaker 5: He would have been a caretaker to someone even if
- 21:36Speaker 5: it wasn't Eva, he wouldn't have gone maybe as hard
- 21:38Speaker 5: as he did, because but he there would have.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Been someone that makes agree.
- 21:45Speaker 5: That's Joe's vibe no matter what I mean, He's a
- 21:49Speaker 5: he's a firefighter captain and you run into burning buildings
- 21:52Speaker 5: to save a stranger.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Also, and he was there for the yeah wildfires by
- 21:58Speaker 4: the way, I looked up like sacrament because he's in Sacramento,
- 22:02Speaker 4: and so they would have been here. So he would
- 22:03Speaker 4: have been here for the LA fires.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Filmed this American.
- 22:11Speaker 5: He would have been back, and he would have been
- 22:13Speaker 5: Remember they were flying firefighters and from all everywhere coming.
- 22:17Speaker 2: In and.
- 22:19Speaker 6: Mexico and Canada popped over to help.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Shit, So he would have been down here anyway, Jose
- 22:27Speaker 4: caretaker at his core, there would have been somebody there.
- 22:31Speaker 3: He's a damn sweetheard and by the way, again, for
- 22:34Speaker 3: it to get to a final three and me not
- 22:37Speaker 3: to know what's going to happen is pretty unique. Wow.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Usually I know, I'm like, can I say something before
- 22:44Speaker 2: I forget, because I will forget. I think like this
- 22:47Speaker 2: with him and Eva bonding at the beginning and her
- 22:50Speaker 2: doing that, honestly did set the entire tone for this season,
- 22:56Speaker 2: which is why it was so unique and why E's
- 23:01Speaker 2: argument at the end was so compelling for me, because
- 23:05Speaker 2: it does represent an unusual season because of it being
- 23:10Speaker 2: so loyal and not only just because she's on the spectrum,
- 23:14Speaker 2: but also because it was such an unusual season of
- 23:18Speaker 2: loyalty from what we're learning, And so I think they
- 23:21Speaker 2: set the tone because then I think the third person
- 23:24Speaker 2: to come into that was maybe Shaheen or maybe it
- 23:26Speaker 2: was Joe to Shaheen that was like, look, I just
- 23:28Speaker 2: want to play an honest game. Whoever said that. Then
- 23:31Speaker 2: they teaming up then having Joan Eva as one. Then
- 23:34Speaker 2: Shaheen went in there, and then it was just it
- 23:36Speaker 2: really was an amazing beginning and now I understand how
- 23:41Speaker 2: this is so different from other seasons.
- 23:43Speaker 6: Thank you good. I'm glad because it's not different.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Really learned a lot.
- 23:47Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, well I learned a lot as how to
- 23:49Speaker 6: be a better human.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Oh.
- 23:51Speaker 4: By the way, I.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Saw on at TikTok that Eva at Brown University where
- 23:56Speaker 2: she's like getting her masters or her peh master engineering
- 24:02Speaker 2: or whatever. She's working with like stuff as she said,
- 24:05Speaker 2: with the Navy. Do you know what her specific research is?
- 24:09Speaker 2: I found out. Are you ready? Okay?
- 24:11Speaker 6: Is it about the seals?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Yes? How did you know that?
- 24:16Speaker 4: You say Navy seals or no, I have the animal?
- 24:20Speaker 2: How did you know that, yes, Okay, it's about that's okay.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So what she does is she studies seals whiskers because
- 24:31Speaker 2: they have sent they sensor objects in the water, and
- 24:34Speaker 2: so they're studying how you do know about this? So
- 24:37Speaker 2: then they're studying how how seals sensor objects and how
- 24:43Speaker 2: that can be implemented into the navy. How do you
- 24:46Speaker 2: both know? And Jamie, why did you think that?
- 24:49Speaker 3: Okay, I'll say why. I thought that because Navy seals.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Seals was a bit because you know, there's the Navy seals, right, huh.
- 24:57Speaker 6: Right, And so I was doing a bit.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Then I was thinking about what's the cutest thing that
- 25:03Speaker 3: she could possibly study, you said, seals? And then Emily
- 25:07Speaker 3: had some crazy ass beautiful mind moment where suddenly she
- 25:10Speaker 3: knew about this, and that was pretty wild.
- 25:13Speaker 2: What do you know, Emily?
- 25:14Speaker 5: Okay, I I am going to assume I think I
- 25:19Speaker 5: heard this on Science Friday on NPR dropping Science Friday.
- 25:31Speaker 5: Actually it's on Sunday.
- 25:33Speaker 2: To speak to Science Friday. Yes, Emily, could you tell
- 25:38Speaker 2: us what you learned about the seals?
- 25:40Speaker 3: Don't talk to me right now, Al, I don't care
- 25:43Speaker 3: about our fight last night.
- 25:44Speaker 6: It's Science Friday. And I am listening on dr.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I heard them talking about this, not with her, but
- 25:54Speaker 5: I know about the There's also something that they're studying about,
- 25:58Speaker 5: like polar bear fur and how it can changel Yeah,
- 26:07Speaker 5: some crazy I don't even know.
- 26:09Speaker 4: But I know about that.
- 26:12Speaker 2: You think that they have white fur, but it's actually
- 26:14Speaker 2: translucent and it's just reflecting. The sun is reflecting off
- 26:17Speaker 2: of it and the snow, which is why it appears white.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Well, but something I.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Know something, No, you yeah, don't.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Owls are not turnal, Yes I do. Owls are nocturnal.
- 26:31Speaker 2: And did you know that they cannot move their actual eyes.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That's why they move their heads.
- 26:38Speaker 6: Oh interesting.
- 26:39Speaker 2: I just learned that at the Place Arena Nature Center
- 26:41Speaker 2: last week. Emily, is there anything else you want to share?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Because Jamie air too excited to share our facts over yours.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 26:53Speaker 6: No, that was it.
- 26:54Speaker 5: I've got to remember the science there. There's new technology
- 26:59Speaker 5: happening with the with the seals and with the polar
- 27:02Speaker 5: bear fur.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Oh wow, okay, great, I love this all right? So
- 27:12Speaker 2: I loved what is the Oh my god, you guys,
- 27:15Speaker 2: when Eva, what is the woman's name? Was she called
- 27:18Speaker 2: an old woman?
- 27:19Speaker 6: Oh?
- 27:20Speaker 4: Use guys Okay, use guys.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Whatever that woman's name was was trying to take up
- 27:26Speaker 3: for some other woman. Christy was trying to take up
- 27:28Speaker 3: for some other woman on a previous season. It could
- 27:31Speaker 3: be the woman on last season who said she was
- 27:33Speaker 3: forty six but really she was fifty four and that
- 27:36Speaker 3: was her big reveal and nobody cared.
- 27:38Speaker 6: She was like, yeah, you don't this day actually before
- 27:43Speaker 6: everyone was like, fit, shut up, move on. Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I could not believe what Eva said. She was like,
- 27:49Speaker 2: I mean everyone's doing their thing. I mean even this
- 27:52Speaker 2: lady who's an old woman.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Is doing it.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I was like, my jaw dropped, it literally dropped. I
- 27:57Speaker 2: couldn't think how insulting that was.
- 27:59Speaker 6: She just had a hard time with social cues. Though
- 28:01Speaker 6: she she wasn't talking about Charse Christy.
- 28:06Speaker 5: She wasn't talking about woman. She was talking about her
- 28:09Speaker 5: previous season. But that other one reacted Christie. I'm laughing like,
- 28:15Speaker 5: uh yeah, she wasn't talking about Christie. Okay, yeah, that's
- 28:19Speaker 5: Christie reacting thing like that's a horrible A.
- 28:22Speaker 6: Little bit a little bit too a little bit.
- 28:24Speaker 3: But again she's she misses those social cues. But she's
- 28:26Speaker 3: like the woman was, But you know, I was just
- 28:29Speaker 3: talking to my mom last night.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Y'all will love this. My mom and I went to
- 28:33Speaker 6: the Celebrity Pardon Me.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Have, Celebrity Center, Celebrity.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Celebrity Center for Scientology. We went to the Celebrity Wheel
- 28:43Speaker 3: of Fortune watch. Sam Richardson was.
- 28:49Speaker 4: That's hilarious fine.
- 28:52Speaker 6: And he won one.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Hundred and sixty two thousand dollars for the Detroit Creativity.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Are you serious? I haven't watched it.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Yeah, dominated yet she did it yet.
- 29:01Speaker 6: A year last night. I'll send you all a clip.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I taped it and then you can see and I'm
- 29:06Speaker 3: crying in the background.
- 29:07Speaker 6: I was so silly, but n he made so much money.
- 29:10Speaker 6: He killed it. He was so good.
- 29:13Speaker 3: He won the first game out right, and for the
- 29:15Speaker 3: second game he lost by mirror dollars to Randall Park.
- 29:19Speaker 6: But Sam was on it.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You know how much how Amy knows, you know how
- 29:22Speaker 3: he loves to play games and stuff. So he was
- 29:24Speaker 3: just fucking pop pop up. But anyway, when my mom
- 29:27Speaker 3: and I were driving home, I was telling my mom
- 29:29Speaker 3: about when she turned forty. I was like thirteen or something, twelve,
- 29:34Speaker 3: I don't know, but I was young and she turned
- 29:36Speaker 3: forty and my stepfather bought all of these, like over
- 29:39Speaker 3: the hill with the like bracetzone and stuff, and I
- 29:43Speaker 3: was like mad at him, and I was crying and
- 29:45Speaker 3: I was like saying, I was like.
- 29:46Speaker 6: I don't like that.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I was like that because I secretly thought my mom
- 29:50Speaker 3: was gonna die because she was forty. I was like,
- 29:52Speaker 3: it's pretty soon over for her, Like, isn't that silly? Though,
- 29:58Speaker 3: I was like, she's she's on a way out now,
- 30:00Speaker 3: and now'll look at how old I am. Nearly forty.
- 30:03Speaker 6: This is crazy.
- 30:04Speaker 2: It is nearly forty. I can't wait to celebrate, though,
- 30:07Speaker 2: But I'm not gonna have those decorations for you.
- 30:10Speaker 6: We won't.
- 30:10Speaker 3: No, don't have the tombstone. I just remember being like,
- 30:13Speaker 3: I don't like this. Get this off of here too, Zones.
- 30:16Speaker 3: I was like, she's gonna die, so like it is
- 30:18Speaker 3: such a construct. Like I see some of these little
- 30:21Speaker 3: kids who are like twenty two, and I'm like they
- 30:23Speaker 3: look at me and they're like, ma'am, would you like
- 30:26Speaker 3: some help across the street, And I'm like, yeah, I
- 30:29Speaker 3: fucking would. I have sciatica, so please help help. All
- 30:34Speaker 3: hands on deck over here.
- 30:36Speaker 5: I thought when Mitch got voted out at the beginning
- 30:39Speaker 5: of the episode, did you think that they were leading
- 30:43Speaker 5: him on.
- 30:43Speaker 4: And actually gonna switch their vote to Joe?
- 30:47Speaker 5: No, I thought I thought because Kyle and Camilla had
- 30:50Speaker 5: squared up, that they were gonna go for Mitch.
- 30:53Speaker 4: I mean that they were going to go for Joe,
- 30:56Speaker 4: and I thought it's.
- 30:57Speaker 6: Been the right might have been the right choice.
- 31:00Speaker 3: I'm shocked that Joe did not get voted out about
- 31:03Speaker 3: three votes ago.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Mitch.
- 31:05Speaker 6: They were just really pumping him up a little bit. Right,
- 31:09Speaker 6: you're gonna win, buddy. I'm think he's not gonna win against.
- 31:11Speaker 2: You, so you don't think he would have won? Okay,
- 31:13Speaker 2: but after like, do you remember at the after party
- 31:17Speaker 2: and Starr said, because Jeff said, well what if Camilla
- 31:20Speaker 2: made it to the final three and everyone was like,
- 31:22Speaker 2: hands down win. That gave me the chills.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I think Camilla would have won.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I think that that was very interesting when Kyle and
- 31:30Speaker 3: Camilla both were like, it was so poetic too, It's like,
- 31:34Speaker 3: we can't go together, we have to break it now,
- 31:36Speaker 3: and they never.
- 31:37Speaker 6: Said that part.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I almost started crying.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that was sad, and they were on the same page,
- 31:42Speaker 4: which was really nice.
- 31:44Speaker 3: They're smart people, They're both so fucking smart, and they're right,
- 31:49Speaker 3: and I think Camilla would have won. I think either
- 31:53Speaker 3: one of those two doing what they did was so
- 31:57Speaker 3: fucking brilliant that they couldn't go up against each other. Yeah,
- 32:02Speaker 3: no chance against me.
- 32:03Speaker 2: That was so smart, And I like that Camilla. She's
- 32:05Speaker 2: such a straightforward player. And she's the one who brought
- 32:08Speaker 2: it up to Kyle, and Kyle's like, you know, I've
- 32:09Speaker 2: been thinking it too. I'm glad you brought it up
- 32:11Speaker 2: and not me, And it just it's very empowering to
- 32:15Speaker 2: watch Camilla play this game, her her whole I have
- 32:18Speaker 2: the chills, but like she her whole journey of I
- 32:23Speaker 2: can't do it, I'm nothing, and the baggage of that,
- 32:26Speaker 2: and then her being able to say literally learn as
- 32:31Speaker 2: she's doing something, and the voices that are saying you
- 32:35Speaker 2: can't do this, you're gonna fail, are being pushed down
- 32:39Speaker 2: by the keep going, keep going voice. And I just
- 32:41Speaker 2: thought that if you know, I now I know why
- 32:44Speaker 2: people watch this because it is such a mental a
- 32:48Speaker 2: mental game, and you really not only rise to the
- 32:51Speaker 2: challenge in the moment, but it changes you as a person.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And her journey was in fact that we saw her
- 32:57Speaker 2: life really change, and I don't I didn't necessarily see
- 33:02Speaker 2: that from Kyle, and not that he wasn't challenged in
- 33:04Speaker 2: any way. I perhaps maybe saw it in Joe, I
- 33:09Speaker 2: saw Kyle, But you did see it in Kyle.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 4: I agreed with what he said. At the beginning.
- 33:15Speaker 5: He was kind of like ram Rammy and kind of
- 33:18Speaker 5: like remember like he had like the war and he's
- 33:21Speaker 5: like it's not a warp whatever, like oh yeah, yeah,
- 33:25Speaker 5: and he was just but then something happened and he
- 33:28Speaker 5: just like as soon as he fully let his guard
- 33:31Speaker 5: down with Camella, like he actually kind of put his
- 33:33Speaker 5: guard down a little bit for everybody and really did
- 33:36Speaker 5: start to play the game in a different way. I
- 33:39Speaker 5: when he Yeah, yeah, So I think after Camilla, if
- 33:46Speaker 5: you're looking just at that final group, I think that
- 33:49Speaker 5: to me, I did see a change in him.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Do you think that Mitch if he was in the
- 33:54Speaker 2: final three, Because now I see how everybody voted and
- 33:57Speaker 2: not nobody really voted for Joe. So if Mitch was there,
- 34:01Speaker 2: would he have won against two Eva? Let's say Eva,
- 34:06Speaker 2: if Joe wasn't there, Let's say Eva and Kyle.
- 34:10Speaker 6: No, no one's winning but Kyle or oh wow. Okay,
- 34:14Speaker 6: but but but but I think that Joe.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Should have won. But I also do think Kyle should
- 34:19Speaker 3: have won. And I kind of think Eva should have won,
- 34:20Speaker 3: which again is very rare for me to feel this way.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I cannot wait for these to be on Traders like
- 34:28Speaker 2: I cannot wait for I was thinking to be on Traders.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I was thinking who of this would be good
- 34:34Speaker 4: for Traders?
- 34:35Speaker 6: And I think that about that.
- 34:38Speaker 4: I think that like Shaheen.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Would probably be the most entertaining, Pin would be great,
- 34:43Speaker 2: and who else?
- 34:43Speaker 5: Joe?
- 34:44Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 34:45Speaker 4: I don't think Joe would be Joe would not be good.
- 34:47Speaker 2: I don't I don't Joe, And I don't think Eva.
- 34:50Speaker 2: I don't think. I don't think a lot of people.
- 34:53Speaker 2: But I think who did I say in my head Shaheen, Camilla.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Oh Mary.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I would love to see Mary on Traders Love.
- 35:02Speaker 4: I would see you, guys.
- 35:04Speaker 5: I want to see Christy, but I don't think guys
- 35:07Speaker 5: should be I don't think she was on long enough.
- 35:10Speaker 6: That I long enough.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah, by the way, can we just talk really quick
- 35:14Speaker 3: about the heart pumping come from behind victory of Camilla
- 35:19Speaker 3: to the puzzle and poor Joe, Like I thought the
- 35:23Speaker 3: question marks above Joe's head the whole time he's doing
- 35:25Speaker 3: the puzzle. And then that thing about the balls. Remember
- 35:30Speaker 3: I told you that was coming where they have to
- 35:32Speaker 3: catch the balls and put it.
- 35:35Speaker 5: What is it?
- 35:36Speaker 4: The summation? What is that called? I wrote it down?
- 35:39Speaker 6: Did you write it down?
- 35:44Speaker 2: I did not write it down?
- 35:46Speaker 1: But who would?
- 35:48Speaker 3: Well?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Why you're looking abo emotion? Yes, Kyle was learning out
- 35:53Speaker 2: so bad. I was like, I really hope he wins
- 35:55Speaker 2: this because he's like, this is the game for my childhood.
- 35:58Speaker 2: He was so excited. But wait, let me, let me
- 36:00Speaker 2: mention something. The second that Camilla and Kyle decided that
- 36:05Speaker 2: they weren't going to take each other to the final three?
- 36:08Speaker 2: Do you know how fast Kyle was over to Joe
- 36:10Speaker 2: going I'm gonna take you. I'm gonna take you.
- 36:13Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 36:13Speaker 2: Like that was so intense, you know, and it was
- 36:16Speaker 2: such a gameplay. I also have to mention the fire. Okay,
- 36:21Speaker 2: so the fire. Do you think it was fair for
- 36:24Speaker 2: Joe to be teaching Eva to do that?
- 36:27Speaker 3: That happens every time the ally goes into the woods
- 36:31Speaker 3: with their other person and tries to help them.
- 36:33Speaker 6: The alchies usually do that. I thought that was.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Okay, But I also think I was gonna say it's
- 36:40Speaker 4: like he didn't. I mean he, Kyle could have helped Camilla.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I actually thought he was. I thought he mentioned helping her,
- 36:48Speaker 4: but we didn't see it. But I don't know.
- 36:50Speaker 5: I just thought like, yeah, I didn't think it was odd,
- 36:54Speaker 5: but I don't think she had an advantage either.
- 36:57Speaker 6: Then again, too, her guttural cry was heart, Oh my god,
- 37:01Speaker 6: oh oh god.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I was like, why did why did when Joe said
- 37:07Speaker 2: let me do it for you? What did he actually mean.
- 37:10Speaker 5: To go and do the fire and then she could
- 37:12Speaker 5: switch places with him and not have to do it?
- 37:15Speaker 5: And he was he was willing to trade his the
- 37:17Speaker 5: position Kyle was giving him.
- 37:19Speaker 2: That's what I thought. Or he have been allowed to
- 37:21Speaker 2: do that?
- 37:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean because Kyle was like, oh shit, did
- 37:26Speaker 4: I do the right thing?
- 37:27Speaker 6: He could do whatever he wants.
- 37:28Speaker 3: He could do it and you could volunteer himself as tribute,
- 37:30Speaker 3: just like you can play your idol on someone else.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Wow, that's cool, Okay, Okay, yeah, I.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Mean this season, I'm so elated we went on this
- 37:39Speaker 3: journey together. Gals me too, And maybe I should put
- 37:44Speaker 3: my buff back on. I'm so happy that we went
- 37:47Speaker 3: through this journey, but I would love and I know
- 37:51Speaker 3: this is never going to happen, but like, I would
- 37:53Speaker 3: love to watch a older season with y'all. Maybe Boston
- 37:56Speaker 3: Robb's first season, I just think now that or maybe
- 38:00Speaker 3: next season, especially if the Darlings.
- 38:03Speaker 2: W Yeah, Darling's left. No, let me ask you this.
- 38:07Speaker 2: They did a preview for season forty nine and it's
- 38:10Speaker 2: very cute. Yes, Siren oriented with being like so they're
- 38:15Speaker 2: obviously leaning into the water sports obviously for this next season.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Is that what I'm seeing? So do you think that
- 38:21Speaker 2: people that are on forty nine have seen forty eight?
- 38:25Speaker 6: No, they haven't. Oh they have now, but they've already
- 38:28Speaker 6: won theirs.
- 38:29Speaker 2: They Okay, I just wanted to make sure because I
- 38:31Speaker 2: was hoping that they wouldn't have seen it because this
- 38:34Speaker 2: season is so different, I wouldn't have wanted that to
- 38:36Speaker 2: influence the next one, and so so that I can
- 38:39Speaker 2: see so I definitely am going to watch it, whether
- 38:41Speaker 2: we recap.
- 38:42Speaker 5: It or not.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Okay, anyway, anything else we need to say because we
- 38:46Speaker 2: have to wrap this up.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I want to say that it was fun watching this
- 38:52Speaker 3: with you guys, because I love Survivor and thanks for
- 38:55Speaker 3: taking my suggestion and also truly are pleasure to finish
- 39:03Speaker 3: my little rambling thought about next season.
- 39:06Speaker 6: I want to watch the next one with you guys to.
- 39:08Speaker 3: See if it's more typical, because this was a very
- 39:11Speaker 3: You always have players who say they want to play
- 39:14Speaker 3: a loyal game. I've never seen anything like Joe and
- 39:17Speaker 3: Eva before. Wow, Eva being like, I have this advantage.
- 39:21Speaker 3: And then Shaheen, Shaheen and Kyle are way more typical players.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Camilla is a typical person you'd see. But those two
- 39:31Speaker 3: and their loyalty game and how it worked was pretty wild.
- 39:34Speaker 3: And of course there are always casualties, casualties being Shaheen
- 39:39Speaker 3: and David, but other than that, they pretty much set
- 39:42Speaker 3: out to do exactly what they said they were going
- 39:44Speaker 3: to do.
- 39:46Speaker 2: One last thing, speaking of David, I was a day tonight,
- 39:52Speaker 2: really a loving last night. I was sending these screenshots
- 39:58Speaker 2: to you guys, and I sent this one and I
- 40:01Speaker 2: was like, wait, is he like Frozen or is he
- 40:05Speaker 2: like a wax figure?
- 40:07Speaker 5: And because he's always that, yeah, he's always saying that
- 40:11Speaker 5: always that is it a cardboard outfits?
- 40:15Speaker 2: But not him, I go, is it a cardboard cutout?
- 40:18Speaker 2: They put it that they put there every week, and
- 40:20Speaker 2: Emily goes, he died weeks ago.
- 40:23Speaker 4: By the way, can I say something really quick about that.
- 40:26Speaker 3: I was at that party for Wheel of Fortune, so
- 40:28Speaker 3: I was just looking at my phone a little I
- 40:31Speaker 3: saw Amy said a text, you know, and Amy said,
- 40:33Speaker 3: no spoilers. And then a few texts later, I looked
- 40:35Speaker 3: at my phone and it said, by the way, he
- 40:37Speaker 3: died weeks ago, and.
- 40:38Speaker 6: I'm like, who died. I'm like, Emily is telling me
- 40:41Speaker 6: something so sad.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't
- 40:46Speaker 2: giving you any spoilers. And then okay, so then I
- 40:50Speaker 2: sent this one and I go, it's so cool how
- 40:52Speaker 2: they can change his clothes, and then Emily goes, that
- 40:56Speaker 2: was one of the challenges.
- 41:00Speaker 6: I was dead. I was dead, and I was liking
- 41:02Speaker 6: those comments. And then I tricked Amy.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Amy goes, what time do you think Jamie's gonna start
- 41:07Speaker 3: watching at twelve thirty am? And I said, Amy, you know,
- 41:10Speaker 3: I come alive at one am. And then I said
- 41:12Speaker 3: I might start watching it now. This is at like
- 41:15Speaker 3: eleven thirty. I might start watching it now, or I
- 41:17Speaker 3: might put on a movie, and Amy.
- 41:18Speaker 6: Goes, don't do that Jamie, don't watch a movie. I'm like,
- 41:22Speaker 6: go to bet you fools.
- 41:26Speaker 2: All right, guys, that was This was a distant delight.
- 41:29Speaker 2: I just love it. Thank you listening, darlings, and until
- 41:34Speaker 2: next Surviron. Bye Bye.
