  Speaker 1: Didn't see it coming, but he did. I'm gonna share

  Speaker 1: with you today a principle of success. You know. It's

  Speaker 1: it's important that we get our lives together. I mean

  Speaker 1: it really really is. You know, the hereafter is exactly

  Speaker 1: what it says is to hereafter, and hopefully for the

  Speaker 1: majority of us, that's quite a way he's off. So

  Speaker 1: what about how you living today? How about now? You

  Speaker 1: know often talk to talk in the morning about your

  Speaker 1: relationship with God that can never change. That is at

  Speaker 1: the forefront and the best thought process that I can

  Speaker 1: give you. And I know who I'm talking to on

  Speaker 1: the radio. I'm talking to a lot of people man

  Speaker 1: who out there just not sure. And I'm talking to

  Speaker 1: a lot of people out there man that's trying to

  Speaker 1: pull it together. In other words, you know, I'm talking

  Speaker 1: to a lot of people like myself. There is a

  Speaker 1: principle of success that is out there that if more

  Speaker 1: people understood one of the base this is just one

  Speaker 1: of one of the basic principles of success, you would

  Speaker 1: have more success in your life. And that principle is this,

  Speaker 1: the more people you help become successful, the more successful

  Speaker 1: you become. Well, the more people you help become successful,

  Speaker 1: the more successful you become. Because you are a practicing

  Speaker 1: helping and as you do unto others, then it's done

  Speaker 1: unto you. You build relationships. When you do that, people

  Speaker 1: forget and success that has to be relationships. There is

  Speaker 1: no one person in this world who is just successful

  Speaker 1: all on their own. You are successful, and successful people

  Speaker 1: form relationships, and you've got to really coddle these relationships.

  Speaker 1: You've got to nurture these relationships. They don't just happen.

  Speaker 1: You don't just get cool with people just cause you cool. No,

  Speaker 1: you've got to do some cool things to these people

  Speaker 1: and for these people, for these people to be cool

  Speaker 1: with you when you need some cool. I don't know

  Speaker 1: if I'm explaining that right, but that's the best way

  Speaker 1: I can tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know,

  Speaker 1: I just speak like that. This is an important principle

  Speaker 1: to put into your life. The more people you help

  Speaker 1: become successful, the more success yes for you become. You

  Speaker 1: can look. You have to say to people, Hey, look

  Speaker 1: I've done that. This is what you got to do.

  Speaker 1: You got to take some time out to share. You

  Speaker 1: have to share information, experiences, thoughts. You got to take

  Speaker 1: a minute man to uplift somebody. Give them some encouragement. Hey, man,

  Speaker 1: you can do it. Don't give up. You have no

  Speaker 1: idea you you you right now. You have no idea

  Speaker 1: how significant you are to someone else. How your words

  Speaker 1: of encouragement could be the difference maker today I'm talking

  Speaker 1: about it's a person looking at you that you don't

  Speaker 1: even really know you, or you don't really know them,

  Speaker 1: and you see them struggling with something. Just say, hey,

  Speaker 1: you know what, I've been watching you from afar. You

  Speaker 1: gonna be all right, man, I see some menu. Keep

  Speaker 1: doing the right thing, man, You're gonna be alright. I

  Speaker 1: had a meeting with a young man for the first time,

  Speaker 1: and this young man came into Marow office. I never

  Speaker 1: met him. He has an internet service which anybody can
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: teach me something about the internet, because I know little
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: too close to nothing. He was twenty seven years old,
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: and he was amazingly bright at this, and I guess,
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: you know, that's not that hard to impress me. But
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: the fluid speech pattern that he had about this very
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: very difficult subject. He was tossing around the terms I
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: had heard, but he was actually putting him in sentences word.

  Speaker 1: It made since to me. It's very fluid, very sure
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: of himself. When he was talking about this little thing,
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: young dude, twenty seven years old. And when he got through,
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: the woman that had introduced me to him, I was
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: leaving my office and she was going to escort him out,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: and I turned around and I said, young man, I said,
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: what size pants are you? And I guessed it because

  Speaker 1: I've been dressing for long. I've been all them sizes.

  Speaker 1: And I said, you about a thirty ways? He said yes, sir.

  Speaker 1: I said what side shoe you waisted nine and a half?

  Speaker 1: I said what side shirt is? At a medium? He said,

  Speaker 1: I really like extra large. I said, well that's too
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: big for you. You just want to look blousy and baggy.

  Speaker 1: And so I was talking to him. Man, I said, man,
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you out. I said, man, because let
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: me tell you something. You a sharp young dude. Man,
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: you are raisor sharp. I say, you've really really impressed
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: me today, I said. And you know what, young brother,
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: I said, You're gonna make a lot of money one day, man,
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: I said, but I want you to get your image up.

  Speaker 1: I want you to. I want you to look at
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: how you dress because you're coming into professional people's office
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: and you're talking about doing something for them, and it
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: takes money to make it happen. I got to give
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: you money to make this happen. What you cannot afford
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: to do is look like you need every dime of
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: this money. See you get when you go in there
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: and you talking about money with another person. The person
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: and that's gonna give you this money. Cannot you can't

  Speaker 1: look like you need every dime of this money, you know,

  Speaker 1: So you got to start presenting yourself. And that's all

  Speaker 1: I just said to him. I just said, man, but

  Speaker 1: you know what you shop, You're gonna make yourself some money.

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you out a little bit. I walked out.

  Speaker 1: I went on bout my business. Later on that afternoon,

  Speaker 1: I had a meeting with the woman that bought him
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: in and she said, mister Harvey, you have no idea
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: what you just did. He said, his eyes just teared
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: up when you walked out. He said, Wow, man, that
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: man don't even know me, and he just encouraged me.
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: He said, man, I always thought I might could make it,
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: but he said, I ain't. Never had nobody like him
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: tell me I could make it. And just hearing it
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: from him, man, that's all right. I'm gonna get my
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: clothes together. But you know, I've been homeless. And then
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: he started telling the woman that he had been homeless,
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: and so you know, then she telling me that now
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: I'm fit to cry because you know, I've been in
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: that hole before. And I just and I'm just sharing
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: that story with y'all just to say, you don't know

  Speaker 1: who you talking to, but what does it hurt if
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: you just extend your hand to a person and give
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: them a moment of encouragement. See this young brother right here,

  Speaker 1: he could come back one day and be a major
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: benefit to me because he has a skill set that
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: I don't have. Oh. I might be old, mister Steve Harvey,
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: but hey, guess what I don't know nothing about what
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: this young cat know, and he done went off and
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: educated himself. And just a word of encouragement from somebody
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: like yourself can make all the difference in another person's life.

  Speaker 1: So remember on your way to the top. The more
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: people that you help become successful, the more successful you become.

  Speaker 1: It's a requirement of God that you do that. That
