- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fierazzo.
- 0:19Hi, friends.
- 0:20We've got a treat for you today.
- 0:22Thank you so much for tuning in.
- 0:24And of course, I always thank you guys for sharing the show.
- 0:27It's so important of a topic today, Israel Bible prophecy and anti-Semitism.
- 0:32I've got Olivia and Melnik with us, and I'm just going to tell you a couple of the books
- 0:36we're going to be talking about right off the bat, and then I'll introduce him.
- 0:40The normalization of anti-Semitism.
- 0:43This is huge for our understanding and what's going on today in our world and unfortunately
- 0:50in America.
- 0:51The next book is called The Time Is Now.
- 0:54One steps Christians should take to help the Jewish people.
- 0:58And the third book, we'll talk about more than this, but end times anti-Semitism, end times
- 1:05anti-Semitism, a new chapter in the longest hatred.
- 1:10So I'm excited, by the way, you can get these on Amazon.
- 1:14And his website is new anti-Semitism.com.
- 1:19So Olivia and Melnik was raised in a secular Jewish family in Paris.
- 1:25After meeting his future wife and reading a book on prophecy that she'd given him, Olivia
- 1:29began to do a search which led him to belief faith in Yeshua Jesus as his Savior.
- 1:35So they married and soon after settled over here in the U.S., where they felt an increasing
- 1:41burden to reach Jewish people for Yeshua.
- 1:46So Olivia has a bachelor's degree in Jewish studies from Moody Bible Institute.
- 1:50His desire is to help us help believers.
- 1:53Christians understand the Jewish roots of the faith and he hopes to train many to be
- 1:58effective in reaching their Jewish friends and neighbors with the message of hope.
- 2:03His passion is to see the Jewish people throughout the world receive Jesus as their promised
- 2:09Messiah.
- 2:10And that's God's will friends.
- 2:11Let's share the gospel.
- 2:13I want to bring them in right now.
- 2:14Olivia and Melnik, welcome to World View Matters.
- 2:16Good to see you, brother.
- 2:17David, it's good to be on the show.
- 2:19Thanks for having me.
- 2:20All right.
- 2:21So you've written six books.
- 2:23Four of them you said are on anti-Semitism.
- 2:25That's going to be our main topic today for our newer listeners, other than what I shared
- 2:30in the introduction, give us a couple snippets of your background that are impactful that
- 2:36brought you to Jesus and then your work in these recent years.
- 2:40Well, I was born and raised in Paris, France, a child of Holocaust survivors.
- 2:47My mother lost her father in Auschwitz and so that was the backdrop of our Jewish family.
- 2:56So there was not much of a belief in God because of this big deal that where was God during
- 3:04the Holocaust.
- 3:05So my mother never really wanted to talk about that.
- 3:07I had the privilege of leading both my Jewish father and my Jewish mother to the Lord about
- 3:1212 years ago, which was incredible.
- 3:14But I was raised in that setting where we didn't talk about God and there was Jewish by
- 3:20heritage, but nothing beyond that.
- 3:24I was introduced to my Messiah by my wife, who I've been married for 40 years now, who
- 3:32basically after trying to show me in the Bible the Messianic prophecy, she also gave
- 3:37me this book, The Leg Great Planet Earth by Hellenzi, and it made sense and I got really
- 3:45scared about the rapture.
- 3:46I didn't want to be separated and I said, okay, where do I sign?
- 3:49That's the short version, but that was 40 years ago and that was in France.
- 3:56She had come to France and then she's American and I moved back to the States with her and
- 4:01then we started working with a ministry that I was with a couple of different ministries
- 4:06for many, many years and just started this new ministry recently, Shalom and Messiah, to
- 4:11focus on educating Christians about anti-Semitism and helping them prepare themselves because
- 4:18I believe this is the time we're in right now.
- 4:19We'll probably circle back to that at the end of the show, preparing to rescue and shelter
- 4:25Jewish people because you're looking around in the news and it's horrendous what's happening
- 4:31at the speed that we're just happening.
- 4:34You mentioned sheltering Jewish people, I read somewhere and isn't it true that someone
- 4:38from France sheltered and hid your mom?
- 4:42You wouldn't be here if it weren't for a family that hid her, tell us about that.
- 4:47Absolutely, David.
- 4:48This is correct.
- 4:50I'm starting to speak French now.
- 4:52I'm trying to speak French.
- 4:54That's funny.
- 4:56That would be interesting for your audience.
- 4:59Yes.
- 5:00They think you're speaking in tongues maybe, I don't know.
- 5:02If all of a sudden, Je parle français, je parle pas anglais.
- 5:05So yes, a family of farmers in a southwest region of France right above Spain hid my mother
- 5:14in her two cousins for two years until the end of the war.
- 5:18Right after my grandfather was taken by the Gestapo, it was not safe to stay in their home
- 5:22in Paris, so they got on the train with false papers, like you've seen in those movies.
- 5:27And they went all the way down to the south of France and those farmers basically said,
- 5:31we'll take them, we'll hide them, we'll feed them.
- 5:34And they, we had very little resources, but they, what was right, and they actually in 2013,
- 5:42and that's the video I have on my YouTube channel at Shalom and Messiah on YouTube.
- 5:46They, my mother reconnected with the two sons that she had not seen for 70 years.
- 5:53And they received a medal from Yad Vashem Memorial in Jerusalem as on behalf of their dead parents
- 6:01who had become, would be named by Yad Vashem righteous among the nations.
- 6:05Just like Oscar Schindler, Koreet and Boo, Raoul Wallenberg, the highest honor that a Gentile can receive from Israel.
- 6:13And so it was in 2013 and they received that for saving my mother.
- 6:18And I wouldn't be talking to you today if it was not for the two farmers with no resources,
- 6:24just take three Jews and say whatever it takes.
- 6:28Amazing story.
- 6:30So Olivia, let's jump into one of your books.
- 6:33And this is the most recent one, the normalization of anti-Semitism.
- 6:36I want to find out your relationship with David Hawking because you dedicated the book to him.
- 6:43And apparently he prayed for your salvation and you didn't even know.
- 6:47Before we get into more of the topics of anti-Semitism and what we're going to discuss,
- 6:51they tell us that story.
- 6:53It's just fascinating because a lot of our listeners probably are familiar with David Hawking.
- 6:57My father-in-law, excuse me, my father-in-law had been an elder at David's church for 17 years.
- 7:06And when my wife to be came to France to check on me and see if I was worth writing to after we admit in the States,
- 7:15she just came to France and my father-in-law told David, said, listen, I'm really worried.
- 7:20My daughter is visiting this young French Jewish man who's not a believer.
- 7:26I don't know what to do.
- 7:27And David said, keep the communication line open.
- 7:31Don't condone anything that you wouldn't agree with.
- 7:34But keep the communication line open.
- 7:37And let's pray for this young man.
- 7:39What's his name?
- 7:40And I've been saved for 40 years.
- 7:42So I would say probably 42 years ago, David prayed for my salvation having never met me.
- 7:47Then came back to the States, we became good friends.
- 7:50And David has been, like an uncle to me, really, really dear friend.
- 7:56And he has connected me also to a lot of people within the Prophecy Conference circuit
- 8:04and introduced me to a lot of people who have not become good friends.
- 8:07And I owe a great debt of gratitude to David.
- 8:10He was one of my, he was actually my first mentor after my father-in-law.
- 8:14When we came back to the States, after I got married, my wife's got me saved.
- 8:18David was my first mentor.
- 8:20And he has been a Bible teacher so rich in his theology and his Bible teaching
- 8:28that I'm very, very grateful to the Lord for the connection.
- 8:31Praise God.
- 8:32I mean, there's so many stories we could talk about.
- 8:34I mean, I haven't spoken to him in years, but he's been up here in Wisconsin for a Prophecy Conference.
- 8:40But let's dive into the topic a little bit deeper here, Olivier.
- 8:43What, your definition of anti-Semitism, let's go back to the basics
- 8:48and bring people along with a basic understanding of this.
- 8:51Okay, now, my definition, and there's many different definitions for anti-Semitism,
- 8:56but the key that I have in mind is the first two words.
- 9:00And this is what the audience needs to pay attention to.
- 9:04The first two words, and I will unpack that a little bit.
- 9:06Anti-Semitism is the irrational and demonic hatred of the Jewish people and of Israel
- 9:15characterized by thoughts, words, and deeds against them.
- 9:20And the two key words are irrational and demonic.
- 9:24I have on my shelf in my office probably close to 500 books on the topic of anti-Semitism and the Holocaust.
- 9:31And when I look at all those books and many of them by incredible scholars
- 9:35are way, way smarter than me, way more dedicated than me on the topic.
- 9:39And yet, they miss the point that this is demonic.
- 9:43And so they talk about people hate the Jews and it's the DNA of the world to hate the Jews,
- 9:51but they don't have an answer.
- 9:53But for us, from a biblical standpoint, we know that it is a demonic hatred
- 9:59because Satan is going to hate all that God loves and love all that God hates.
- 10:05And God loves the Jewish people as they cry out to eight, the apple of his eye, the chosen people.
- 10:10So God has a plan for Israel and the Jewish people all throughout history.
- 10:16And that plan is about to resume, David, probably sooner than we think.
- 10:20As we see where we are inching our way towards the time of Jacob's trouble,
- 10:25the great tribulation where God is going to resume this program with Israel.
- 10:30And at the end of that seven year tribulation, Israel, Israel,
- 10:34appropriately, the Jewish people are going to look up and say,
- 10:36Baruch Ababa, Shema, don't I?
- 10:38Blessed is you who comes in the name of the Lord.
- 10:40And that's when Yeshua returns and when Yeshua returns,
- 10:45Satan is out of a job and he does not like his retirement plan.
- 10:50Oh, thank you for emphasizing the fact this is a spiritual dynamic here.
- 10:55It is demonic.
- 10:56And it's not just it's not just hatred.
- 10:59There is an irrational hatred, which, you know, we can define that as demonic.
- 11:04I see that in so many different ways we think of former president Trump here in America.
- 11:09There are some that can't even explain why they hate the guy.
- 11:13So there are demonic movements that help us understand.
- 11:16This goes a lot deeper though, because this is historical biblical history,
- 11:20world history.
- 11:21So what the real source you're saying of anti-Semitism is Satan.
- 11:27Would you agree with that and if so explain?
- 11:30100%.
- 11:31It is Satan again, because he knows that when the Jewish people call on Yeshua,
- 11:36he returns, that's the second coming.
- 11:39Most Christians have not even processed that in their own head.
- 11:42That Jesus Yeshua is not going to return until corporate Israel calls them at the end of the tribulation.
- 11:50And that's when when when he comes back, if Satan can keep the Jewish people from calling on Yeshua,
- 11:56then his career is never going to end and he's safe.
- 12:01And he doesn't want to end up where he's going to end up in the lake of fire.
- 12:04So he's he tried to stop the first coming.
- 12:08You know, you know, throughout the Bible, you see that and he failed.
- 12:12And he's going to do everything he can to stop the second coming.
- 12:15And I think right now, as we see this increase of anti-Semitism in the world since October 7,
- 12:20specifically, I think right now, Satan is really running on fumes.
- 12:24He's realizing, I don't know how much time I have left because he's not omniscient.
- 12:28He's a created being. God is omniscient.
- 12:31Satan is not, but Satan knows this Bible very well.
- 12:34And he's going, he's seeing that the end of his career is coming soon.
- 12:39So he's pulling everything together to go after the Jews.
- 12:42And there's no way, no other way to explain how bad it is for the Jewish people today.
- 12:47And our worst it's going to get, but to understand that Satan is behind it.
- 12:52And also there's an amaze is a wealth of information in your books.
- 12:57I don't remember which book now, because I was looking at all three of them in preparation for this interview
- 13:01where you were talking about people like Martin Luther and some early church fathers
- 13:06and some theological issues that what one is that?
- 13:11This one.
- 13:12Okay, that's the big one.
- 13:14That's the big one, yes.
- 13:17The big one contains a history of anti-Semitism to explain to people when they read it,
- 13:24that anti-Semitism, what we are today did not happen in the vacuum.
- 13:28It is a progressive development of Jewish hatred that we see through history
- 13:34from the closing of the canon actually in the Bible.
- 13:37Amen, in the book of Esther, Pharaoh did not know Joseph, the Amalekites.
- 13:42So that's the biblical account.
- 13:44And then you go to the early church father and you go through history.
- 13:47And I document in source all those events in the big one, in the big book.
- 13:52That was fascinating to me.
- 13:54And I've quoted some of those men before John Christostom.
- 13:59Chris, I think.
- 14:01Yeah, Chris, what you said.
- 14:03But I've quoted people like that because, you know, there are some inspirational quotes we share
- 14:08and we don't know some of the background in the history.
- 14:11And the other things they have said, particularly about Israel,
- 14:14we've got to take a very brief break, friends.
- 14:16We're talking with Olivier Melnik.
- 14:18And when we come back, we're going to talk about governments and universities,
- 14:23especially in America, and how we got to where we are today in regards to anti-Semitism.
- 14:29We'll be right back on World View Matters.
- 14:31Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily.
- 14:34World news biblically understood.
- 14:37Stay informed at harbingerstaley.com.
- 14:41So Olivier's YouTube channel, by the way, is just under his name Olivier Melnik.
- 14:54And it is Shalom in Messiah Ministries.
- 14:58He's got tons of videos and a lot of helpful information on Israel, Bible prophecy,
- 15:05and anti-Semitism, and more on his YouTube channel.
- 15:08But I want to remind you guys, if you're listening to our show via audio podcast,
- 15:13by the way, thank you for downloading our app at Freedom Project.
- 15:16But Apple, Spotify, and others, you could really help us out and grow the show by leaving a five star review.
- 15:23Apparently, I've been told it helps shows rise in the rankings if you put in a nice review, five star,
- 15:30and also we're growing so fast, we would love to have more sponsors come on board,
- 15:35like Harbinger's Daily and others.
- 15:37So if you're interested in sponsoring the show, at some point, just go to worldviewmatters.tv
- 15:43and send me or send us an email.
- 15:46So back to Olivier Melnik.
- 15:48Now, many of us were surprised Olivier, not what Satan did in Hamas and the horrific attacks on October 7 of last year.
- 15:57We're not surprised by that, because that's Israel's history, right?
- 16:00Whereas all the attacks, the coalition of nations around them that hate them, want to wipe Israel off the map.
- 16:05But in America, the reaction by many on college campuses in the universities, pro-Palestine marches,
- 16:15and some justifying what Hamas did because Israel is their occupiers,
- 16:22please help us explain governments and universities relating to anti-Semitism that we're seeing.
- 16:28Well, I think what we're seeing here is people reacting to an event,
- 16:33and we have progressively, in the last couple of decades,
- 16:40people have progressively distanced themselves from seeking the truth, looking at facts,
- 16:46and they're just looking for warm and fuzzy.
- 16:51And so you've gotten a younger generation on campuses and in various places around the globe,
- 16:58saying, you know, from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free.
- 17:01They say that, they have that on signs, on the streets, and they feel really good.
- 17:06It's like, oh, I'm doing something for social justice.
- 17:09This is the right thing to do.
- 17:10What they don't know is that from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free is a motto.
- 17:16It's a euphemism for genocide of the Jewish people.
- 17:20That's what it means.
- 17:21From the river, which is the Jordan River to the east of Israel,
- 17:25to the sea, the Mediterranean Sea, on the west side of Israel,
- 17:29that's what it's talking about.
- 17:30Basically, saying, entire land of Israel will be free of Jews, and it will become,
- 17:36will return to its Palestinian state, which, of course, is not historical, it doesn't exist.
- 17:43And what's interesting is when you ask those young people, what do you mean the river in the sea?
- 17:47They have no clue.
- 17:48They say, the Caspian Sea, the Dead Sea, the Red Sea, the river, the Gaza River, they have no clue.
- 17:55And so that's one aspect.
- 17:58And of course, what's happening on the university also is that the leadership you've seen,
- 18:03this was on the news a couple of weeks ago.
- 18:05I wrote an article on my nuaticimitism.com.
- 18:09There was three presidents of, I think it was MIT, Penn University, and Harvard.
- 18:16They were cornered into having to explain, why would you allow them, be the students to say this on your campus,
- 18:23and does not break the rule, you know, the conduct.
- 18:27And then, you know, when I heard Pluttingay, the president of Harvard say, you know, well,
- 18:34it's all depending on the context.
- 18:36Yeah.
- 18:37I thought, wait a minute, what context could you possibly find to make genocide acceptable?
- 18:45I don't know.
- 18:46Forget it's to Jewish people, any people group, you know.
- 18:51And what sentence me, you know, people said, oh, see, she was, you know, she had to resign, she resigned.
- 18:58But David, what really bothers me, and people don't pay attention to that, is that she didn't resign because of her anti-Semitic statement.
- 19:05She resigned because she was exposed for plagiarism.
- 19:10So they did not want to admit that she had made anti-Semitic statements.
- 19:16They said, you know what, we can't get rid of her.
- 19:18But let's get rid of her on plagiarism.
- 19:20This way, let's not make too many waves.
- 19:22Yeah, and she's still getting a salary from what I understand, you know, and not a small one.
- 19:27Yeah, yeah, just unbelievable.
- 19:29It was at $900,000.
- 19:31Anyway, yeah, the whole DEI movement, that's another demonic movement, you know, the diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- 19:38But let's talk, now I know we're moving fast, friends, but we've just got Olivia for a short time.
- 19:43We're going to do two programs with him, but I want to talk a little bit about replacement theology.
- 19:49And we have talked about that before, Olivia, but I want to hear your thoughts.
- 19:54It may be very beneficial for our audience.
- 19:57Well, let's just quickly define the terms because not everybody will know what that means.
- 20:06Replacement theology is a faulty, or false theology that claims that all the blessings that God promised Israel have been rescinded, have been taken away from Israel and given to the church.
- 20:23In other words, church has replaced Israel as the recipient of all the blessings.
- 20:28You know, not David, that the people that adhere to replacement theology, and they don't like to call it that, but the people that follow that train of thought, they say, we receive the blessing, not the curses.
- 20:40So the Jews can still keep the curses, we just call the blessings.
- 20:44No, but seriously, they don't even think about it, but you know, every scripture you see and it's always like, you know, blessing and curses go together, obedience and disobedience, blessings and curses.
- 20:56So that false view is not saying that the church has replaced Israel, so really Israel is no longer in God's program.
- 21:04And what happens is that if Israel is no longer in God's program or on God's radar, it becomes an afterthought, it becomes, you know, Jewish people are not that important, they're not part of God's program of the end times.
- 21:18And it makes it easier to justify what happens in anti-Semitism.
- 21:24I believe that beyond the shadow of it out, that replacement theology is anti-Semitic because it's basically pushing the Jews away.
- 21:33But from a biblical standpoint, even before that, if God made unconditional eternal promises to Israel in the Abrahamic covenant, the land covenant, the Davidic covenant, and the new covenant.
- 21:46The only one that's conditional is the mosaic covenant, blessings and cursing based on obedience for the mosaic covenant.
- 21:53The other four unconditional, if God made an unconditional covenant with Israel, and then he said, well, I changed my mind, they messed it up, they messed up, they broke, they broke my covenant, I'm going to go to another group now.
- 22:06Then he's a liar, he's a covenant breaker, and that makes it that it opens the door wide open for God to say, you know what, I said you were saved by grace, but you know what, maybe I'll change my mind too, maybe you'll need to work for your salvation now.
- 22:21So if God doesn't keep his promise with Israel, we have nothing to stand on for the rest of the promises of God.
- 22:28So in your book, the time is now you quote our site, Jeremiah 31, 35 through 37, tell us about the Jewish people being recipients of five of the eight covenants in the Bible, four of them being eternal and unilateral and unconditional.
- 22:45So four of those covenants, we've only got less than five minutes now, but just briefly touch on that, we'll pick it up in the next program.
- 22:51Well, I, you know, in Jeremiah 31, 35 to 37, we read about, it's the recipe to get rid of the Jews. If you can count the stars of the universe, measure the sun and the moon and measure the universe, then God says, I will forsake Israel for all that they have done to me.
- 23:13It declares the Lord at the end of verse 37. So the Lord God is even saying, I know Israel has disobeyed for all that they have done to me, but I have made a promise.
- 23:23God, the promises that God has made to Israel, the covenants, he's, he's ratified with Israel.
- 23:29So the four of the five that are unconditional are not based on Israel's performance. Thank God for that. They're based on God's, they're based on God's character.
- 23:41And so, so that for that, we know that it's never going to go away. God's, God's relationship to Israel is, is solid. Not, not David. Well, we have to understand is that even though the promises, the covenants are, you know, unconditional and God is not going to change his mind.
- 23:57It does not mean that Jewish people are saved just because they're Jewish. That's another false view known as dual covenant theology.
- 24:07I don't want to share the gospel because Jews have suffered enough. They're, they're in because by virtue of being Jewish, if that was true, then John 3, 1 through 15, Nicodemus attacking to Yeshua at night saying, I'm in it. And Jesus, you know, you got to, you got to be born of the,
- 24:26order, order the spirit. And so all people, including my people, the Jewish people need to hear this, the, the, the saving message of the death and resurrection of Messiah Jesus on their behalf and accept it as a free gift. And that's how they get him.
- 24:41Okay, Olivia, I don't want to rush through this too quick. I know we're running out of time, but dual covenant theology is just briefly summed that up for us.
- 24:49Dual covenant theology basically says Christians need a Gentile Christian Gentiles need Jesus to be included in, in the church to be saved Jews by virtue of being Jews don't need anything.
- 25:04And they're in because their Jewish should no need to share the gospel. We can, you know, so you see a lot of ministries, a lot of organization doing great humanitarian work to help Israel to help the Jews.
- 25:17But David, final word, when you just do humanitarian work to help Jewish people, it is the same as sending somebody to hell on a full stomach.
- 25:29Wow, I mean, it's social justice. You do works and you help them. You feed them physically, but you don't feed them spiritually with the gospel. The thing that can save them.
- 25:39Boy, that's a whole another topic because there's a lot of wonderful organizations and charitable organizations and ministries out there doing great work humanitarian work for people.
- 25:48If they're Christian based, and you're not sharing the gospel, wow, so that I understand. So Olivia, I just want to direct people to Amazon. That's the best place to get your books.
- 26:00Again, friends, Olivia Melnik, we are going to do a second program with him because there's so much information, so so much more. And we'll talk a little bit more about the book of the normalization of anti-Semitism when we come back.
- 26:14And we're also going to talk a little bit about BDS. This is something that needs to be defined for, like you said, a lot of people on college campuses, they believe the talking points and they have no idea what they're supporting.

You help us get them out there. So God bless you. And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
