- 0:11Speaker 1: Good money, good money, good money, and welcome, Welcome, Welcome.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It is time for a car talk with the Dungeons
- 0:15Speaker 1: family of Auto's Dungeons Toyota. Jason, I understand Three's company.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hey, Tom, come knock on my door.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I wonder if I could get there, But there's a
- 0:25Speaker 1: bunch of beautiful ladies in your way.
- 0:28Speaker 3: We have Shane and Betty from the Hilton Garden downtown
- 0:34Speaker 3: and we're gonna talk a little bit about the about
- 0:38Speaker 3: the Roper romp that's coming up in.
- 0:40Speaker 1: A I liked.
- 0:42Speaker 3: It, but first I wanted to give a shout out
- 0:46Speaker 3: to my friends at Dungeons Toyota. Uh, we're having a
- 0:51Speaker 3: really a really good month over at Dungeons Toyota.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Things are rocking along.
- 0:58Speaker 4: You know.
- 0:58Speaker 3: We've got some really great deals on new Toyotas that
- 1:02Speaker 3: are going on right now.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Tom.
- 1:06Speaker 3: It's not often that Toyota does any sort of subvention,
- 1:09Speaker 3: but right now on the Toyota Tundra, the twenty twenty
- 1:13Speaker 3: five Toyota Tundra, you can get one point nine percent
- 1:17Speaker 3: interest for seventy two months. There are also some really
- 1:22Speaker 3: fantastic lease deals, and then you've got to come in
- 1:26Speaker 3: and check out the tacomas that we have on the ground.
- 1:31Speaker 3: We've got some great cevented interest rates on the tacomas
- 1:35Speaker 3: as well. And Tom, we're kind of becoming like the
- 1:40Speaker 3: Toyota Tacoma capital.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Of the world here.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I kind of like that to Oklahoma. Wonderful trucks carry
- 1:46Speaker 1: your on green will.
- 1:48Speaker 2: They sure will.
- 1:49Speaker 3: So if you're looking for a new ride, want to
- 1:54Speaker 3: come in take a test drive. Our friends over at
- 1:57Speaker 3: Dunge just Toyota are really ready.
- 1:59Speaker 2: To help you. Yeah, so let's talk Roper. Okay, So
- 2:04Speaker 2: it's a shame.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, good morning, Thank you so much for
- 2:07Speaker 5: having us. No, we are super excited about this upcoming
- 2:11Speaker 5: bar crawl. So it takes place July twenty sixth, so
- 2:15Speaker 5: that's a Saturday. It will start at four pm. We
- 2:19Speaker 5: have about seven participating, including US bars, and all of
- 2:23Speaker 5: the other bars are locally owned.
- 2:26Speaker 2: So it's our way.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Of connecting with our community and connecting with other businesses downtown.
- 2:32Speaker 5: And so what better way than celebrating Missus Roper, who
- 2:37Speaker 5: is just an iconic character from Three's Company and so,
- 2:41Speaker 5: and of course Betty is bet.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Betty is the penultimate Missus right now, So.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I like it. You look great to get up by.
- 2:51Speaker 6: You know, I have decided red. It's not my color.
- 2:55Speaker 6: But you know, the things that you do for the
- 2:57Speaker 6: community and your job, and you know, it's been fun
- 3:02Speaker 6: it is getting ready this morning. The office has laughed
- 3:05Speaker 6: about it. It has been hysterical. We have some fun
- 3:08Speaker 6: plans this afternoon. Missus Roper will be out and about,
- 3:12Speaker 6: so be aware. She may appear in just the most
- 3:17Speaker 6: obvious places.
- 3:18Speaker 1: So something tells me she's going to be kind of
- 3:21Speaker 1: one of these periodical characters that kind of show up
- 3:25Speaker 1: over the next several years.
- 3:26Speaker 5: We hope.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Well, and I have other characters that show up to
- 3:30Speaker 6: so you know, I've been known to be in a
- 3:31Speaker 6: unicorn unicorn outfit and all things like that.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 6: So yeah, it's it's light short and let's enjoy it
- 3:40Speaker 6: and bring our friends along the way.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Well that's great.
- 3:43Speaker 1: So where did we come up with this idea? I mean,
- 3:45Speaker 1: this is just a wonderful set of little coming up here.
- 3:48Speaker 6: So I am actually from a city, and so when
- 3:52Speaker 6: I got here about eighteen months ago, I was like, hey,
- 3:57Speaker 6: we need to do some you know, be a part
- 3:59Speaker 6: of the pub. Crawls around and everybody looks at me
- 4:01Speaker 6: like what so Saint Patty's was coming up. So the
- 4:05Speaker 6: first Saint Patti's Pub Crawl, our group sat down and said, Okay,
- 4:10Speaker 6: what do you want to do, Betty, and I said,
- 4:11Speaker 6: get people involved whatever it was. And it's picked up
- 4:14Speaker 6: and we've done our We just celebrated our second Saint
- 4:17Speaker 6: Patty's Pub Crawl, which I think everybody enjoyed, and the
- 4:21Speaker 6: participating bars just had a ball with it too. And
- 4:25Speaker 6: then I'm like, okay, we got to do something this summer.
- 4:28Speaker 6: And so I just kind of saw, you know, on
- 4:31Speaker 6: the internet there's fun things going on, and there's a
- 4:34Speaker 6: couple of cities that I follow and some fun stuff
- 4:37Speaker 6: and I'm like, oh my gosh, we needed to missus Roper. Yes,
- 4:42Speaker 6: and so this is the opportunity where people don't have
- 4:46Speaker 6: to be themselves.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Jason to well, I.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So happens.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I didn't have to go further than my closet all
- 5:00Speaker 3: of this out.
- 5:03Speaker 1: This is wonderful. This is gonna be a lot of fun.
- 5:06Speaker 5: Yeah, we we are super excited and we're thrilled that
- 5:09Speaker 5: all of the other partnering bars are participating. So we
- 5:12Speaker 5: have Flying Solo aka Solo Club Crossing. Second, we have
- 5:16Speaker 5: Cooper and Mill Palace Rooms. Of course, Hilton garden In,
- 5:21Speaker 5: Gina's Barn, Gina's Wine Bar and Cigar Room, and then
- 5:25Speaker 5: Remy's Arcade.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Bistro are playing.
- 5:29Speaker 5: All the cool kids are participating and so and at
- 5:32Speaker 5: at Hilton garden In, we are actually gonna have live music,
- 5:37Speaker 5: so we have Angel, dust Angel and Dustin Pittsley. They're
- 5:41Speaker 5: going to be doing some live music starting at five
- 5:43Speaker 5: o'clock and they're gonna and of course Angel will always uh,
- 5:47Speaker 5: she's gonna fit the the part, so maybe some disco
- 5:52Speaker 5: or the seventies. But at at Hilton, we're also going
- 5:59Speaker 5: to have half price appetizer, so we have a special
- 6:02Speaker 5: menu that's gonna be just just for that night. And
- 6:06Speaker 5: then we also have our our Roper drink menu as well,
- 6:10Speaker 5: so I mean we'll have the Missus Roper which is
- 6:14Speaker 5: a shot, and then we have the Roper Rita. We
- 6:17Speaker 5: have a ram and knock on our door, and the
- 6:21Speaker 5: Regal Beagley. Yes, so we have so many fun things
- 6:28Speaker 5: planned and we're just super excited. And I know all
- 6:31Speaker 5: of the other participating locations they're gonna have their own
- 6:34Speaker 5: special drinks and their own special interactives as well. Also
- 6:40Speaker 5: another little fun thing. We are also going to have
- 6:43Speaker 5: little punch cards at each location, so you don't have
- 6:46Speaker 5: to start at Hilton. We encourage it because we're gonna
- 6:49Speaker 5: have music starting. But yeah, you can get your punch
- 6:53Speaker 5: card at any of the other locations, buy a drink,
- 6:56Speaker 5: get it punched, and once you get all of your
- 6:58Speaker 5: punches filled, you turn it in and then you can
- 7:02Speaker 5: win gift cards and a number of other things.
- 7:05Speaker 1: It might be a good idea to wind up there
- 7:07Speaker 1: instead of start off there.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Because well, I was going to say, we highly recommend
- 7:13Speaker 5: you fill out that information on the back first instead
- 7:16Speaker 5: of at the end of the night, so you can read.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Make sure to turn it in at the end of
- 7:20Speaker 2: the night.
- 7:21Speaker 1: All right, And then it sounds like you've done this
- 7:25Speaker 1: before the Shane.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Tom, I feel like I should have prepared some Three's
- 7:31Speaker 3: Company trivia because.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It seems like you you have the show pretty down.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I just remember it. I mean it was a big
- 7:38Speaker 1: when I was in high school.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, did you have These people are going high
- 7:49Speaker 4: school at that time, so did you have the did
- 7:52Speaker 4: you have the Chrissy poster?
- 7:54Speaker 1: My wife wouldn't let me. Okay, I got married when
- 7:56Speaker 1: I was like eighteen, Oh my, oh my what what? No?
- 8:01Speaker 3: No, no, you wanted the Christy. If anybody has Tom
- 8:05Speaker 3: Tom has a birthday coming.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'd like to live to see it. But I know
- 8:14Speaker 1: other guys did this.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Is this is this? It was a thing pre pre
- 8:20Speaker 2: Fie master. Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 3: So yeah, it's it is pretty amazing how much culturally
- 8:30Speaker 3: came out of Three's Company. And uh, it really was
- 8:35Speaker 3: kind of a I was saying to Betty on.
- 8:38Speaker 2: The way in.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I was trying to explain the premise of the show
- 8:41Speaker 3: to my twenty six year old nephew last night, and
- 8:46Speaker 3: it made no sense to him. It contextually probably wouldn't
- 8:51Speaker 3: work today.
- 8:51Speaker 1: No, probably not, because he would there would be no pretending,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 8:56Speaker 6: So I told my kids, I'm like, yeah, you know,
- 9:00Speaker 6: I'm we're doing this thing for work. I'm I'm gonna
- 9:03Speaker 6: dress up. They're like, who who are you? And I'm like,
- 9:08Speaker 6: oh my god, I have done wrong by my children
- 9:11Speaker 6: that I have not introduced them to the Three's Company
- 9:15Speaker 6: and all of that. So I sent my kids a
- 9:17Speaker 6: picture of this this morning and they're like, we do
- 9:20Speaker 6: not know you change, you know? So yeah, just I'm
- 9:25Speaker 6: like and I'm like, I'm sure that this is a centerfold. Look,
- 9:28Speaker 6: I really feel like that we are bringing it back.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You have nailed it.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I see this trending.
- 9:37Speaker 3: So next year Bartlesville High, it's going to be Moo
- 9:42Speaker 3: Moos And I don't know about that at Bartlesville High,
- 9:46Speaker 3: but it will definitely be It'll be how about move
- 9:49Speaker 3: moos and Fedora's. So this is kind of like, you know,
- 10:01Speaker 3: it is sort of like problem for adults. Yeah, so again, DeShane,
- 10:06Speaker 3: when is the event?
- 10:07Speaker 5: So it's July twenty sixth, and it starts at four pm.
- 10:11Speaker 5: But we encourage you to also start at Hilton because
- 10:15Speaker 5: we have live music.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Okay, so do you have to register?
- 10:21Speaker 5: No, it is completely free up.
- 10:23Speaker 2: This is pretty cool.
- 10:26Speaker 1: This is a different kind of getting carded by the
- 10:28Speaker 1: way this is.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And then I guess it's bring your own move moove right.
- 10:35Speaker 6: Unfortunately, yes, because the things that are under momus are
- 10:39Speaker 6: not something that we would want to know about.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Okay, one size, one size fits all.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Okay, So hey, we're going to talk just a little
- 10:53Speaker 3: bit more about cars. Is kind of it is car talk.
- 10:58Speaker 3: We've got some really great used vehicles.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Tom that.
- 11:05Speaker 3: First of all, I'm sure everybody's aware of this, but
- 11:10Speaker 3: Dungeon's Toyota is a KBB buying center and I think
- 11:15Speaker 3: the only one in the region. We have a tool
- 11:18Speaker 3: on our website. It is powered by KBB. It gives
- 11:23Speaker 3: you an instant cash offer based on the KBB book
- 11:28Speaker 3: value of your vehicle. You can get pretty granular. You
- 11:32Speaker 3: can walk around and take some photographs, upload those two.
- 11:37Speaker 3: We find that when you use the KBB tool again
- 11:43Speaker 3: it is a KBB value, we find that we're giving
- 11:49Speaker 3: quite a bit more for the vehicles that we're purchasing
- 11:54Speaker 3: locally than what we're seeing the KBB value at. So
- 11:59Speaker 3: it's often, you know, one thousand, two thousand and five
- 12:01Speaker 3: thousand dollars more. But I encourage you, if you're in
- 12:06Speaker 3: the market to sell a car, jump on dungeonstoyota dot
- 12:11Speaker 3: com or come down to dungeons Toyota. Let Brother Bruce
- 12:16Speaker 3: put his hands on the vehicle and we will give you,
- 12:21Speaker 3: as they say, top dollar. We were really good at
- 12:27Speaker 3: sourcing one owner locally driven vehicles. A lot of them
- 12:33Speaker 3: are vehicles that we've maintained since they were sold. So
- 12:38Speaker 3: for instance, we've got a twenty twenty four pre owned
- 12:42Speaker 3: RAV four it's an XL E. We actually have two
- 12:47Speaker 3: of those on the lot right now, one owner great condition.
- 12:52Speaker 3: You can see the carfax report at Dungeonstoyota dot com.
- 12:56Speaker 3: And then we have everything from small pickups. We've got
- 13:00Speaker 3: twenty twenty nine I'm twenty seventeen Tacoma. Yeah, we're sourcing
- 13:06Speaker 3: from the future now. It's a four x four V six.
- 13:09Speaker 3: It's only got ninety seven thousand miles. And then if
- 13:13Speaker 3: you're looking for sort of a starter car or something
- 13:18Speaker 3: just to cruise around town, we have a pre owned
- 13:23Speaker 3: twenty nineteen Buick Encore. It's a front wheel drive. We've
- 13:29Speaker 3: got that on sale right now for only twelve thousan
- 13:31Speaker 3: six hundred dollars. We are trying also to have a
- 13:40Speaker 3: good spread of vehicles so all price ranges. I read
- 13:46Speaker 3: an article this morning in one of the trade papers
- 13:52Speaker 3: that the average cost of a used car right now
- 13:57Speaker 3: has climbed to about thirty five thousand dollars, which you know,
- 14:03Speaker 3: in roper dollars is quite a bit. So Stanley does
- 14:09Speaker 3: need another job, but we try to. We try to
- 14:13Speaker 3: keep vehicles in all price ranges because people need vehicles
- 14:18Speaker 3: in all price ranges, and what's more. We you know,
- 14:23Speaker 3: as much as we love selling cars and pre owned cars,
- 14:28Speaker 3: selling Toyotas and pre owned vehicles, we love maintaining cars
- 14:33Speaker 3: because you know, at thirty five thousand average entry price,
- 14:40Speaker 3: a used vehicle becomes really an asset, and we like
- 14:45Speaker 3: to see people get the most mileage out of their
- 14:47Speaker 3: vehicles as possible. Our service department works on Toyotas, but
- 14:53Speaker 3: we also work on all makes and models, and we
- 14:58Speaker 3: have certified technicians who will help you get really the
- 15:03Speaker 3: greatest life out of your vehicle possible. You can again
- 15:09Speaker 3: make an appointment online Dungeons Toyota dot com or just
- 15:14Speaker 3: drop in and we'll take care of you. But as
- 15:18Speaker 3: as the next couple of days start to warm up,
- 15:21Speaker 3: and it feels interesting out there right now, but yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 3: the next couple of days start to warm up, it
- 15:28Speaker 3: takes a toll on a vehicle. And if you need
- 15:33Speaker 3: a little refresh on your AC or make sure your
- 15:39Speaker 3: fluids are all topped off, drop by Dungeons Toyota.
- 15:43Speaker 1: You know you're absolutely right. When it gets this hot,
- 15:46Speaker 1: it's going to be really awful to find out that
- 15:47Speaker 1: the chill is gone.
- 15:49Speaker 3: It's it. I have been there before and it's not fun. No, no. Now,
- 15:55Speaker 3: back in the roper days.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's to sixty. Yep, it was down six an hour.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You knew exactly where I was going with the five cents.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So what in? What in?
- 16:12Speaker 2: What a wife?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Well, we've got to get missus Ropery into one of
- 16:16Speaker 1: those nice Corolla crosses or maybe that did. What's what's
- 16:20Speaker 1: that new one that we're seeing these days? It's kind
- 16:22Speaker 1: of up there like the camera.
- 16:24Speaker 3: It's it is the crown, uh, and the Crown signia.
- 16:30Speaker 3: So the Toyota Crown is the new high end Toyota.
- 16:38Speaker 3: It's it is very nice and then and then appropriate
- 16:42Speaker 3: for her, I think so. And then the signia is
- 16:46Speaker 3: a the Crown in a small suv version again just
- 16:52Speaker 3: decked out, all of the bells and whistles, very very comfortable.
- 16:58Speaker 3: You know, at Roparade we're looking for well I'm sorry, yes, yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 3: I know, I know. At roper Age, I'm I'm looking
- 17:14Speaker 3: for a comfortable seat and that that is something. Uh,
- 17:18Speaker 3: you know, the comfort level in all of the Toyotas
- 17:22Speaker 3: is just fantastic.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Uh.
- 17:25Speaker 3: The craftsmanship that goes into making the cars. Again, in
- 17:30Speaker 3: the trade press last week saw a video of how
- 17:36Speaker 3: the cameras are actually put together in the factory in
- 17:40Speaker 3: Kentucky and just amazing. The amount of precision, the amount
- 17:46Speaker 3: of robotics is crazy insane. And then the for the
- 17:53Speaker 3: the workers on the line, Toyota does everything possible to
- 17:58Speaker 3: make things accessible and easy for the workers. You know,
- 18:01Speaker 3: the robots are bringing them tools and parts, and it's
- 18:07Speaker 3: Toyota is a pretty impressive company. They are absolutely Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So on the new car side, Tom some other things
- 18:17Speaker 3: that we ought to check out right now. You can
- 18:21Speaker 3: get a great lease deal on a Toyota Corolla and
- 18:29Speaker 3: I I love this car, the twenty twenty five Toyota Corolla.
- 18:35Speaker 3: We have an se that's coming in we after the
- 18:41Speaker 3: Dungeon's discount. It is twenty seven four nineteen. Now, this
- 18:47Speaker 3: this is a it's a brand new car, very very
- 18:52Speaker 3: fuel efficient. The hybrid models are even more fuel efficient,
- 18:58Speaker 3: darn comfortable. I would encourage anybody who is looking for
- 19:04Speaker 3: again a great around town car and fantastic on the highway,
- 19:09Speaker 3: give us a call.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Check that out. We also have coming in a twenty twenty.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Five Corolla Cross l E and I just purchased the
- 19:21Speaker 3: hybrid version of that a couple months ago. And I'll
- 19:25Speaker 3: tell you I can't. I can't say enough good things
- 19:28Speaker 3: about it. My wife is road tripping in it on
- 19:32Speaker 3: the way up to Chicago right now, and it's it's
- 19:36Speaker 3: fun to drive.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You won't get her out of that car.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I probably will not. I don't think I'll ever see
- 19:42Speaker 3: that car myself again. But it's oh great, great ride,
- 19:49Speaker 3: and again very affordable. Twenty nine thousand dollars for the
- 19:55Speaker 3: all gas version, plus there's a one thousand dollars conditional.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Offer that you may qualify for, so.
- 20:03Speaker 3: I would encourage you if you're if you were in
- 20:05Speaker 3: the market for a vehicle, give us a shout at
- 20:08Speaker 3: dungeons Toyota or look us up on dungeonstoyota dot com.
- 20:13Speaker 3: We're getting ready to make some huge changes on the
- 20:16Speaker 3: website where we keep moving closer and closer to the
- 20:20Speaker 3: point where you can complete almost your entire deal online.
- 20:27Speaker 3: We're rolling out in the next couple of weeks some
- 20:30Speaker 3: new software that will take us even closer to that.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I don't know how you're going to do that. What
- 20:34Speaker 3: you got is amazing, it really is. We're trying to
- 20:39Speaker 3: take the old scary part out of car buying, make
- 20:46Speaker 3: it as easy as possible. You and I have talked
- 20:49Speaker 3: about how quick it was to get in and out
- 20:51Speaker 3: last time you.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Purchased a Viat Not a half a day.
- 20:55Speaker 3: No, it's this is really going to help us be efficient,
- 21:00Speaker 3: but it's also going to help us move at a
- 21:03Speaker 3: customer's pace. It takes people a while that when you
- 21:09Speaker 3: how long did it take for you to decide on
- 21:11Speaker 3: your last car?
- 21:12Speaker 6: Considering I totaled my vehicle and needed want a s
- 21:15Speaker 6: A P it took me a short minute to decide
- 21:20Speaker 6: what I wanted.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I want that one.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Whichever missus roper that.
- 21:29Speaker 1: It's got to meet the roper hotness.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It does.
- 21:36Speaker 3: If you're not in that if well, if you are
- 21:38Speaker 3: in a crunch situation, we definitely can move fast.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Uh.
- 21:43Speaker 3: If you were like me and you're a ninety day
- 21:46Speaker 3: plus kind of shopper, we also can move at your
- 21:50Speaker 3: pace and help you with the decision making process, help
- 21:55Speaker 3: you discover financing options. One thing I was surprised. I
