- 0:06Speaker 2: differentiate AI music from traditional music with a separate AI chart.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So there's less confusion over how it's made. And now
- 0:12Speaker 2: in line with that, the world's biggest music streaming service
- 0:15Speaker 2: is making it abundantly clear when what you're listening to
- 0:19Speaker 2: is AI generated.
- 0:20Speaker 3: YouTube made the announcement in their blog, writing, when you
- 0:24Speaker 3: listen to a track on YouTube Music where AI played
- 0:27Speaker 3: a significant role, you'll see a label directly on the
- 0:30Speaker 3: player page. Tapping the label opens a simple menu that
- 0:33Speaker 3: shares more information about that.
- 0:35Speaker 1: And they also shared a sample of a label that
- 0:37Speaker 1: pops up on your phone, which clearly states this audio
- 0:41Speaker 1: was altered or fully generated using AI.
- 0:44Speaker 2: YouTube will use its own software, ironically AI-based, to analyze
- 0:47Speaker 2: music and determine if it deserves one of those labels,
- 0:49Speaker 2: but it should. give music fans more control over the
- 0:51Speaker 2: kind of music they consume.
- 0:53Speaker 3: That's direct from Hollywood.
