- 0:03No ID is meant for a sane audience. No ID may
- 0:08contain Liberty -oriented content. Pinko discretion
- 0:12is advised. Now, here's No ID with Paul Banducci
- 0:19and Scott Moskowitz. I feel a little silly doing
- 0:25the intro. This is No ID, North Idaho's mainstream
- 0:28media deconstruction. And I have a voice, but
- 0:31I'm not in love with it. I'm Scott. Hello, internet.
- 0:33I'm Paul. And unlike Scott, I love my voice before
- 0:37the we're in person once again. Hello. Yeah,
- 0:40the same studio kicks ass, man. It does to be
- 0:43here with you. We got the French press going
- 0:45and it's another in person live show. But right
- 0:47before we started the recording button here,
- 0:50Paul is like, you know, I'm a humble guy, but
- 0:52boy, do I love my voice. But the part he doesn't
- 0:55tell you is that right before that part I said,
- 0:58but I'm losing my hair and that makes me feel
- 1:00sad. So you got to cling to what you still have.
- 1:02Yeah. Is that it? Yeah. Hair plug Paul has to
- 1:04find light where there's light. Hair plug Paul.
- 1:08We have a show title contender right off the
- 1:10bat. Oh man, it's rough. It's not my fault. So
- 1:12it turns out when your stomach, your gut's messed
- 1:14up for three years straight, and then you suffer
- 1:16a catastrophic injury like I did, your body goes,
- 1:19Hey, we're going to redirect nutrients to anything
- 1:22other than the top of your head. So like two
- 1:25months ago, I started realizing I think I'm losing
- 1:27my hair. Oh shit my skin I can see my scalp where
- 1:30I shouldn't see my scalp then I looked it up
- 1:32and sure enough It's a thing. Would you say the
- 1:33name of it once? Hold on. Let me let me uh, it's
- 1:36called Telogen effluvium It's basically when
- 1:42you suffer a mega stress event or a catastrophic
- 1:44injury and surgery and things of that nature
- 1:47After a couple of months your body goes we've
- 1:49redirected nutrients. No and your hair, which
- 1:53works in like three month cycles, all of a sudden
- 1:55goes hibernate, stops growing for a few months.
- 1:59Apparently though, mostly we have hope. It'll
- 2:03take, it takes three to four months to start
- 2:05happening. It takes three to six months to stop
- 2:07happening and then six to 12 months to get it
- 2:10back. So in two years, I might have a head of
- 2:13hair again. Hopefully. Well, it's at least not
- 2:16male pattern baldness. Not yet. As baldness afflictions
- 2:19go, this is maybe the one you would hope for
- 2:21if you had to have one on account of there's
- 2:22a light at the end of the tunnel. But it doesn't
- 2:24matter because I have a great voice and Mary
- 2:27tells me I have a personality. So it doesn't
- 2:30matter if I have beautiful hair like you, Scott.
- 2:32I'm funny. She married you for your sense of
- 2:34humor. You know, if you're going to be ugly,
- 2:36you better be funny. Well, you know what, at
- 2:38least you don't have the latest health scare
- 2:41of the week. Is it cyclosporiasis, which is still,
- 2:44that one's still going on big time. Is it the
- 2:46H3N2 flu? Is it some new variant of COVID? New
- 2:51CDC data shows a record number of breaking of
- 2:54measles cases here in the US. More than 2 ,300
- 2:57cases so far this year. This one, it's great.
- 3:00It has every element of all of the, like, I had
- 3:04to refrain from doing the thing where I have
- 3:06the word repeat three times to emphasize, you
- 3:09know, in this particular clip, I still did it
- 3:12because I had to, but I could have done it 10
- 3:14more times. Measles cases here in the US, more
- 3:17than 2300 cases so far this year. Experts, experts,
- 3:21experts say that's the most confirmed measles
- 3:23cases the country has seen in 35 years. It's
- 3:27quite tragic. William Maltz of the Johns Hopkins
- 3:30Bloomberg School of Public Health says the record
- 3:32breaking numbers reflect long -standing under
- 3:35-vaccination rates from measles in a number of
- 3:38communities across the U .S. The outbreak started
- 3:41in Texas in January 2025, and it's now been reported...
- 3:44You knew that was coming. The Trumpers, man.
- 3:47They're disease vectors. This is such wonder...
- 3:49This is what a wonderful... piece of propaganda,
- 3:52right? The outbreak. So you notice they used
- 3:53raw numbers, not percentages. Of course. And
- 3:55of course it's the most in 35 years. What? Like
- 3:58seasonally across the country by state per capita.
- 4:01Stop asking questions. It's record breaking.
- 4:03It must be breaking records. I don't know how,
- 4:05but I guess we're breaking, we're breaking all
- 4:07the records here. You know what, you know what
- 4:08they didn't count during 2020, 2021 and 2022.
- 4:12I don't think they even counted measles. They
- 4:15didn't count anything or everything counted.
- 4:16Everything counted as COVID, right? Like you
- 4:18had anything within that realm at all. And it
- 4:20was like, oh, it's it's COVID the middle of the
- 4:23on my scalp, the middle of my scalp. My hair
- 4:24is falling out. It's for measles in a number
- 4:27of communities across the US. That's the problem,
- 4:30Scott. If only I'd had my eighth booster, I'd
- 4:32still have my hair, but. Not my beautiful voice
- 4:35brought to you by Pfizer. The outbreak started
- 4:38in Texas in January 2025 and it now been reported
- 4:42in 45 jurisdictions. Wait, wait, hold on. I'm
- 4:45sorry. I know we're just getting into this, but
- 4:47she said January 2025, right? OK, it's July of
- 4:512026. So if they're counting 3500 cases across
- 4:55a year and a half, that's what she said. It's
- 4:59breaking records. Yep. But they're. Measuring
- 5:02for 18 months instead of 12 months. That's correct.
- 5:05Okay. Yeah, I just wanted to make sure I heard
- 5:06that right So normally they would measure year
- 5:09to year like in a 12 month period annually but
- 5:12for the sake of this it's about no 19 months
- 5:16because we're in the we're in the yeah 19 months
- 5:18almost 20 yeah we're almost into august well
- 5:21you you it's the new way of counting time which
- 5:23is you start it from when trump was inaugurated
- 5:25oh that's where i missed yeah okay so it's like
- 5:28fiscal year versus calendar year versus trump
- 5:31year yeah okay texas five jurisdictions Measles
- 5:35was officially declared eliminated in the U .S.
- 5:38in the year 2000, but Moss says that status is
- 5:41now in jeopardy as world health officials are
- 5:44set to meet in November. Oh, so it's Bush's fault.
- 5:47No, well. 9 -11, 9 -11. Bush gore. I think it
- 5:51was still Clinton then, right? No, no, 2000.
- 5:54It was the 2000 November election. So 2001 would
- 5:57have been Bush. Maybe I bet you they started
- 6:00counting in November of 2000. That's December
- 6:02of 2000 before it was the Trump annual. It was
- 6:05Bush annual. Yeah. Your real story here, though,
- 6:07is we if we man, the Patriot Act should have
- 6:10taken care of this. Yeah. Yeah. We can't have
- 6:14measles. We have the Patriot Act. Measles was
- 6:17officially declared eliminated in the U .S. in
- 6:19the year 2000. So how could it be back? It was
- 6:23declared eliminated, but now it's back. Do you
- 6:26understand that? You know that phrase, quiet
- 6:28in the peanut gallery? In the U .S. in the year
- 6:312000. But Moss says that status is now in jeopardy.
- 6:35Polly's literally eating peanuts just so you
- 6:38understand the joke. Status is now in jeopardy
- 6:41as world health officials are set to meet in
- 6:44November. I very much expect I would be. Oh cool.
- 6:47World health officials are going to meet in November.
- 6:49They're going to do another pandemic response
- 6:51exercise. Experts. Experts. Event 201. This one's
- 6:54going to be event 202. I very much expect I would
- 6:58be shocked if we did not lose our measles elimination
- 7:01status. While many healthy children recover without
- 7:05measles complications, the disease can be severe.
- 7:08About one. I mean, but we said it was gone. So
- 7:11like just you know if. The experts treated disease
- 7:15like the same experts, typically who are leftists,
- 7:19treat gun control. We're already done with this.
- 7:22We were done in the year 2000. We have declared
- 7:23this a measles -free zone. How could the measles
- 7:27have possibly gotten in here? It's unclear. About
- 7:30one in five unvaccinated U .S. children. Unvaccinated.
- 7:34Wait, wait, wait. But one out of five unvaccinated.
- 7:37So how do they count vaccinations? Like, for
- 7:40instance, my children. got a couple, a couple
- 7:44of the baseline vaccines when they were born,
- 7:46but like we're talking the bare minimum, like,
- 7:47yeah, no, we don't want you to have rabies and
- 7:49we don't want you to have a couple of these things.
- 7:50And then no, nothing else. No, thank you. On
- 7:52the cocktail of the 47. I mean, at this point
- 7:54it is like 47 different fucking vaccines you
- 7:57can choose. And we were like, we'll take those
- 7:59three. Those are the ones that actually kill
- 8:01kids. The rest of it. No, thank you. But are
- 8:04we considered vaccinated or unvaccinated? So
- 8:06that's the question. And then the next question
- 8:08is once you've got that part measured, then they're
- 8:12saying one out of five unvaccinated kids. So
- 8:1420 % of the what? 10, 20 % maybe of people who
- 8:21are quote unquote not vaccinated have it. But
- 8:24we don't know. We don't know what the percentage
- 8:25of the percentage is because we don't know what
- 8:27qualifies as unvaccinated. We're dealing with
- 8:30a group of people who would call you unvaccinated
- 8:32if you didn't take your sixth booster for COVID.
- 8:38And again, raw numbers, not percentages. across
- 8:41apparently a 19 month timeline and What you don't
- 8:46know about being unvaccinated could kill one
- 8:49out of five of you About one in five unvaccinated
- 8:53u .s. Children and adults who get it be afraid
- 8:55hospitalized one out of every 20 not even dead
- 8:58just hospitalized so one out of five get hospitalized
- 9:02And does it mean that you needed to go to the
- 9:04hospital or did you just go because you're a
- 9:07You tend to be a little bit more of a worry wart
- 9:09type. This is why we're here This is why it's
- 9:11so irksome because if you just listen to this
- 9:12once and you don't have the luxury like we do
- 9:14It blows right by you pause it assess it break
- 9:17it down. Yep It blows right by you and all you
- 9:19hear is oh shit one out of five people in the
- 9:22US are going to be hospitalized from measles.
- 9:25Correct. And we are breaking records. Record
- 9:28breaking. It started in Texas because of the
- 9:30Trumpers. Bush, dude, Bush. Bush is from Texas.
- 9:34It was eliminated, but now it's back on account
- 9:36of the Trumper Texans. And one out of five kids
- 9:40die of the measles. That's what you come... Oh,
- 9:41and but, you know, if you succumb to Pfizer...
- 9:46Pfizer makes a great product, I don't know if
- 9:47you know that. One out of every 20 children with
- 9:49measles gets pneumonia. One out of every - Oh,
- 9:53okay, wait, wait. So now one out of 20 of the
- 9:56one out of five. Get pneumonia pneumonia pneumonia
- 9:59one out of every 20 children with measles gets
- 10:02pneumonia one out of every 1 ,000 develop brain
- 10:07swelling and nearly one to three of every 1 ,000
- 10:10children infected will die will die From measles
- 10:15complications and moss says we so we're basically
- 10:19at one in a million We've got to be somewhere
- 10:22around one. Maybe one in ten million. Oh wow,
- 10:25if just one child dies It's worth shutting down
- 10:28the entire world and killing grandma all alone.
- 10:31My favorite part was it's a it's it's all worth
- 10:35it to save one life. But if we don't save that
- 10:37life, we're going to make sure that they die
- 10:39alone and scared without being able to hug their
- 10:42family. Sorry, grandma. Let's see if I can find
- 10:46I should have this on the soundboard. It was
- 10:48wasn't it, Andrew Cuomo? In like 2020, April.
- 10:52Yeah, that guy, that guy is a walking soundboard
- 10:54for stupidity saves one life. Should have made
- 10:58a song out of it if everything that we do saves
- 11:01just one life one life. I'll be happy So, you
- 11:04know what I'm talking about. Oh, yeah, and he
- 11:06wasn't he wasn't the only one who said and I
- 11:08want he was points to you Where's your mask asshole
- 11:11promises to you? This is a different be you don't
- 11:15understand masks only applied we're dealing with
- 11:18This is an invisible beast This is 27 March 2020
- 11:27a short deployment. Oh, thanks. It's not going
- 11:30to be that you go out there for a few days. We
- 11:33work hard and we go home. This is going to be
- 11:36weeks and weeks and weeks. I thought it was two
- 11:40weeks to flatten the curve. What happened to
- 11:42that? Yeah, really? What happened to that? Andrew
- 11:44Cuomo? Whatever. And it's going to be an ugly
- 11:47day. Shut up. As hard as we work. Oh, my God.
- 11:50OK, we're watching the video right now. Andrew
- 11:54Cuomo is making a speech. to members of the military.
- 11:58I'm gonna guess that's New York National Guard.
- 12:00That'd be my guess. Oh yeah, probably so. And
- 12:02they are all sitting in fold up chairs, six feet
- 12:06apart from each other, forwards and backwards.
- 12:08At least they got that part right, forwards and
- 12:10backwards, listening to this tyrant talk about
- 12:13how hard the next few months are gonna be and
- 12:16how government's just gonna give it to us good
- 12:18and hard for our own good. Well, there's an emergency.
- 12:21He's making a speech directly to the National
- 12:23Guard. Sure is. confidence. Come on, where's
- 12:27the line? And we kick Coronavirus ass. And we're
- 12:34going to start chanting. And New York is going
- 12:36to thank you. God bless. You're you're a stone
- 12:41cold. Yeah, really? Come on. That didn't have
- 12:44it. Well, rabbit. Well, we're running out of
- 12:47time. I'll try and pull it and I'll put it in
- 12:49in post. If everything we do saves just one life.
- 12:54I'll be happy. Let's finish the rest of this
- 12:56measles clip. But Moss says it's all preventable
- 13:00with a safe and effective, safe and effective
- 13:02vaccine. We want to protect ourselves. We want
- 13:06to protect our children. Protect. And we want
- 13:08to protect our communities. Communities. For
- 13:11Health Minute, I'm Mandy Gaither. Thank you for
- 13:13the Health Minute. So the safe and effective
- 13:17vaccine, and this is where I always wonder, Are
- 13:21the reptiles messing with us by continuing to
- 13:24use that particular propagandistic catchphrase
- 13:27safe and effective? Because they must know that
- 13:31half whatever the hell percentage of the populace
- 13:33automatically hears that and remembers and keys
- 13:36in on that very propagandistic phrase. It's that
- 13:39exact phrase, safe and effective, safe and effective,
- 13:41safe and effective. Why do they keep using it?
- 13:45Because it's effective. It must be. We've talked
- 13:49about this before. Does the MSM know what they're
- 13:52doing or not? And then we've talked about that.
- 13:55And I think there's tears of it. You've got your
- 13:58bottom line folks who just read what they're
- 13:59told, but they believe it. But they don't fully
- 14:02comprehend what exactly it is they're doing.
- 14:04They're part of the machine because they share
- 14:06that political ideology or philosophy. And they
- 14:09are mouthpieces of authoritarians. And they're
- 14:12happy in those roles. Then you got the people
- 14:13up top who are actually writing this shit. and
- 14:16sending it through the pipe. You got the people
- 14:17at the top, tippy top, who are approving it.
- 14:19They're signing off on it. They're the ones really
- 14:21steering the ship. So I think some of them know
- 14:23exactly what they're doing. I think some of them
- 14:25don't. And then as far as the people who consume
- 14:27it, there's you and I and our listeners and a
- 14:30few others who are like us. I'd say we're probably,
- 14:33what, 20 % maybe. Hard to know. There's 30ish,
- 14:36maybe 20, 30ish percent who don't pay a whole
- 14:39lot of attention. And there's a solid 50 % who
- 14:42buy it, hook line and sinker. Drink the Kool
- 14:44-Aid. It's kind of like the Manchurian candidate,
- 14:46you know how they have the phrases that activate
- 14:48the Manchurian, like, Henry Manhauser, you listen
- 14:51to your mother. Yes, mother, I will assassinate
- 14:55the vice president. So they've got these code
- 14:58phrases, safe and effective, brought to you by
- 15:03Pfizer. Brought to you by Pfizer. What's the
- 15:07120th of one fifth of we don't know how much
- 15:12will die. But you can avoid death if only you
- 15:17get the vaccine. Get the vaccine. May God bless
- 15:22us all. Why mail models? Of course you do. I
- 15:32love this song. Of course you do. Hello Derek.
- 15:36Safe and effective. Hello. Welcome to your relaxation
- 15:40time. Beware of raw milk. Wonderful 80s classic.
- 15:44Soothe you. Just a nice warm happy time. Happy.
- 15:50Happy. Happy. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Nothing to worry
- 15:57about. It's because I couldn't turn left. Just
- 15:59relax. Raw milk. Think of it as raw sewage. Hey
- 16:03there, Derek. My name is Little Clean. Anyway,
- 16:05yeah. The Stakes. The state. The state. That
- 16:08would have been another good one. The state.
- 16:10Yeah. Let's move along here. Just relax. That,
- 16:13nice. So speaking of, what's next? Should we
- 16:16do the Moscow murder or should we do flock cams?
- 16:21Oh, flock. I choose flock. Okay. So this is all
- 16:25over, this is the latest of many. Like flock
- 16:29cams, flock cams. It's not, it's like, yeah,
- 16:31surveillance or, you know, oh, they're, you know.
- 16:34license plate readers, it's specifically flock
- 16:36cams. All of a sudden, everywhere, everyone's
- 16:38talking about flock cams. I wonder how long it's
- 16:42going to take into this audio clip before they
- 16:44tell us that flock cameras are safe and effective.
- 16:48Well, we have seen more and more people damaging
- 16:50automated license plate cameras across the country
- 16:53late last week. We learned it happened in Idaho
- 16:56potentially three times over the course of a
- 16:58couple of weeks. Pocatello police say a 20 year
- 17:00old man deliberately drove his truck into two
- 17:03of their flock cameras on July 7th. I feel like
- 17:06there's a better way to do this. Witnesses watched
- 17:08Alan James Carter drive his truck. You hear what
- 17:11they just did right there? They used three names.
- 17:14He's a serial killer. Absolutely a serial killer.
- 17:16Witnesses watched Alan James Carter drive his
- 17:20truck into a camera in the Lowe's parking lot
- 17:21on Bullock Street and then drive across the lot
- 17:24and hit another one. A person who lives in Pocatello
- 17:27shared these photos with KTV. He just kept going.
- 17:30The damaged cameras at that scene. Investigators
- 17:32say the cameras were valued at about 10 ,000
- 17:34bucks each. Officers tracked Carter to a nearby
- 17:37restaurant parking lot where he was found changing
- 17:40a flat tire. We say a piece of rubber recovered
- 17:43at the scene matched damage to his truck. Carter
- 17:46is charged with felony malicious injury to property.
- 17:57Who are you? Oh, yeah. I see the tread. It matches.
- 18:03Oh, get him. Book him, Dan. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 18:05we got him. Carter is charged with felony, malicious
- 18:09injury to property and failing to report the
- 18:11crash. And failing to report the crash. Did I
- 18:15hear that right? That's what they said. and failing
- 18:17to report the crash. Pocatello police say a separate
- 18:21incident involving another flaw camera happened
- 18:24nearly two weeks later. That one remains under
- 18:27investigation. Now we have a yes, that one was
- 18:30smarter. So it hasn't aired yet. Well, they know
- 18:33all they got to do is match the tread. We do
- 18:36have a donation note along these lines, which
- 18:38we'll get to in the value for value segment.
- 18:40And I was sent this, I was sent a version of
- 18:43a flock camera articles four different times
- 18:45this week. Thank you. Value for value. Thinking
- 18:48of us and sending us articles. The timing is
- 18:50impeccable. It has been pummeling my algorithm
- 18:52for the last couple of weeks. And I don't react
- 18:55a whole lot to them because I've realized, you
- 18:57know, like, I don't want to give my fed boys
- 18:59any more ammunition than they already have. And
- 19:01I also think that they, they track, they track
- 19:03what you like, they track what you see. And the
- 19:05more you interact with the stuff you agree with,
- 19:07that's how I think they also build the profile
- 19:09on you. Tinfoil hat time with Paul, I guess.
- 19:11But like I've started to dial way back on my
- 19:14interactions. I'll look. I might even read the
- 19:16article, but I won't like or or thumbs up nothing
- 19:19because it's like, ah, no reason to help them
- 19:22build my own profile on me. It's like, oh, yeah,
- 19:24no, he definitely he's. Yeah. But I have learned
- 19:28a lot, for instance, pro tip. Did you know that
- 19:30flock cameras have two point five pounds of copper
- 19:33in them? And some of them have up to three grams
- 19:36of gold. So what we really ought to do, Scott,
- 19:40is share this wonderful information with a certain
- 19:44community in Spokane and just let the Lord sort
- 19:48it all out. Here is Mayor Randy Westland of Post
- 19:52Falls. He I'm sure among many other public officials
- 19:56are making statements, public statements about,
- 19:59you know, I guess their position on it. Before
- 20:00you play the clip, though, I just I have to like.
- 20:03They charged the Henry Allen James or whatever
- 20:06they did like yeah with failing to report a crash
- 20:09I just have to run I got a hit and run that one
- 20:12one more time here Oh, nice. Yeah. Thank you.
- 20:16Henry Allen. Yeah. Felony, malicious harm to
- 20:21a property and littering and littering and...
- 20:24Carter is charged with felony malicious injury
- 20:26to property and failing to report the crash.
- 20:28Felony, malicious injury to property. That tells
- 20:30you everything you need to know about the legal
- 20:33system right there. It's like, yo, yeah, we got
- 20:36you for this, this and oh, by the way, littering.
- 20:39Littering get fucked. Also, we're gonna confiscate
- 20:41your hard drives and guess what we're gonna find
- 20:43on there Brian James Coburger We're gonna get
- 20:49to Brian yes, they are we matched the tread Speaking
- 20:52of Brian Coburger, we're gonna get to that and
- 20:55speak and the legal system after we finish our
- 20:58flock coverage here. This is four news now and
- 21:01their coverage of Post Falls Mayor Randy Westland
- 21:04and his public statement. New on Nightsight tonight,
- 21:07the mayor of Post Falls is clarifying his stance
- 21:09on flock cameras and is calling for state reform.
- 21:13In a statement released today, Mayor Randy Westland
- 21:16says the city does not and will not use flock
- 21:19camera systems. He writes, I am firmly opposed
- 21:22to unconstitutional mass surveillance and the
- 21:25construction of large national databases which
- 21:27track the movements of citizens. We do have a
- 21:30limited and tightly controlled use of Motorola
- 21:33cameras that read license plates and check against
- 21:36the National Crime Information Center wanted
- 21:38list. We use these in cases like stolen vehicles,
- 21:42abducted children and vehicles associated with
- 21:45active warrants. The mayor says that Idaho state
- 21:48law requires all cities to keep these images
- 21:50for a minimum of two years. Some keep them forever.
- 21:53He's asking state legislatures to amend the law
- 21:56and once the data deleted after 90 days. Yeah,
- 22:01go Randy. So I did, I didn't do the whole, I
- 22:04was thinking about doing the whole statement.
- 22:07Uh, like through 11 labs, but that's, that's
- 22:10a fair summary of basically what it says. I read
- 22:12the, uh, I read the, there was an article in
- 22:14the paper and I read it. I should have sent it
- 22:16to you. I guess I just, I kind of, there was
- 22:18like my, my, uh, hair plug Paul Spidey senses
- 22:21were tingling and I was like, I'm pretty sure
- 22:23we're going to cover this this week. And lo and
- 22:25behold, you did not disappoint. So I didn't even
- 22:27need to send you the articles. I almost did.
- 22:29And I just was like, I don't think I need to.
- 22:31Well, several, several producers stepped up in
- 22:33your absence and sent it to me. So I'm stoked.
- 22:36Uh, Randy's one of the better, better ones. And
- 22:40this makes me happy to hear this kind of stuff.
- 22:42Now, of course they're still surveilling us like,
- 22:46but at least, but at least ran Randy anyways
- 22:48is like, well, but we're not going to surveil
- 22:51you any harder for now, which that exactly. And
- 22:57that's what we'll, I know where that license
- 22:58plate reader is. There's only one? Well, the
- 23:01highest profile one that's easiest to... Again,
- 23:05if a certain community in Spokane wants to know,
- 23:08it's on the overpass of the Spokane street. It's
- 23:11the Spokane street bridge. It's the I -90 overpass.
- 23:13So as you are on I -90 driving over Spokane street,
- 23:17that's where that first license plate reader
- 23:19is, which is perfectly placed for ISP and Post
- 23:24Falls PD and Cootin County PD, because they all
- 23:27hover around Post Falls like crazy. It's there
- 23:30because whatever is incoming from Spokane gets
- 23:32tagged there first. And it gives the people in
- 23:35Post Walls enough time to assemble. It's right
- 23:38right past state line. It's a buddy. Mm hmm.
- 23:40Yeah. But that's where the highest profile one
- 23:42isn't. That would then Post Falls anyways. I
- 23:44was thinking that it was going to be part of
- 23:45the Post Falls water tower refurbishing is to
- 23:48place a camera right there at the top of the
- 23:50water tower. I'm not sure if you saw at the bottom
- 23:51of my newsletter where I showed the architectural
- 23:53drawing. Did you notice the camera? I did notice
- 23:55the camera. But you're wrong. What they're going
- 23:57to do is put together a laser that melts the
- 24:00polar ice caps. Oh, well, but only one of the
- 24:03poles. The other pole is adding ice. We're going
- 24:05to hit the South Pole because we're farther away.
- 24:08from that. Smart. Yeah, we're not going to we're
- 24:10not we're not crazy. We're not going to shoot
- 24:12the North Pole. That's where we are nuts. The
- 24:15newsletter I'm referring to is the newsletter
- 24:17that I do once a week to preview the shows that
- 24:20week's episode's topics. And I try to keep it
- 24:22pithy and great. Those newsletters are great.
- 24:24If you guys don't get them, you should sign up
- 24:25for them and then make sure you check your spam.
- 24:27Because for whatever reason, sometimes they still
- 24:29shovel into spam, but they are not spam. They're
- 24:31awesome. I love those emails. I laugh my ass
- 24:33off. Scott writes them. They're worth your time.
- 24:36There's a no ID show dot com link there at the
- 24:39like halfway down the page. You can sign up for
- 24:41the newsletter at no ID show dot com. So please
- 24:43do that if you'd like. And did we did we finish
- 24:46this state to amend the law? Yeah, we did. OK,
- 24:50yeah. 90 days instead of two instead of two years,
- 24:52which again, again, we're at that point where
- 24:54it's like this should never be a thing in the
- 24:57first place. But thanks for trying, Randy Westland.
- 25:01Well, that's the thing. This is where I. I waffle
- 25:03back and forth and we'll, like I said, we'll
- 25:05get to that donation note, which kind of calls
- 25:06this out in the value for value segment, where
- 25:09I go back and forth between like, well, I don't
- 25:11want to be overly cynical and overly like pessimistic
- 25:15and black pill by naysaying when some decent
- 25:20nuggets do come out of the mouths of the leader,
- 25:23leader, leader. We gotta have credit where credit's
- 25:24due. This is a better statement. At least he's
- 25:28saying stuff like, well, this is, you know, the
- 25:30mass surveillance and not down and we shouldn't
- 25:32have the database versus, you know, I'm sure
- 25:34if you listen to see the Seattle City Council
- 25:36person with the three masks and the and the a
- 25:38change of our assure, I'm sure they're just like,
- 25:40surveil them. So of those options. Yeah, I would.
- 25:43I suppose I would prefer I would definitely prefer
- 25:46someone like Randy Wesson. However, I hate to
- 25:49say he did say. We do have a surveillance thing.
- 25:53Yeah that reads like so I'm against the thing
- 25:55but we do have the thing I'm not against the
- 25:57nose because he's a conservative, right? He's
- 25:59a he's a dyed -in -the -wool kind of your prototypical
- 26:02old -school conservative not a neocon But you
- 26:06know, he would probably refer to himself as a
- 26:08constitutional conservative Emphasis more on
- 26:10the conservative than the Constitution and those
- 26:12types are the types who will tell you well I'm
- 26:15a favor of smaller government except for the
- 26:18things where I want more government And then
- 26:20they will proceed to explain to you why more
- 26:22cops is a good thing. A bigger cop budget is
- 26:24a good thing. They're the conservatives who can't
- 26:27fathom not having the government control my roads.
- 26:30They can't fathom not having the government control
- 26:33my fire department, my cops, my thin blue line.
- 26:37you know my military like they love those things
- 26:40they love limited government except for all the
- 26:42massively sprawling gigantic government apparatuses
- 26:45other than those any other than those and anytime
- 26:47you're dealing with folks like that they they
- 26:49have this weird line and each person's line is
- 26:51slightly different on where all of a sudden it's
- 26:53just magically too much but it's never for them
- 26:57it's never zero whereas like zero for me it's
- 27:00it's got to be zero zero is the baseline zero
- 27:02is where we want to be these kinds of conservatives,
- 27:05conservatives in general, there is no zero for
- 27:07them. It's if we're on a scale of one to 100
- 27:09there, you know, we're right now we're at fucking
- 27:1180 on the authoritarian scale, maybe more and
- 27:15conservatives are fighting to bring it back down
- 27:17to 45 or, you know, some of them maybe even 40
- 27:21or something like that. Meanwhile, I'm over here
- 27:23and you too, you know, I'm trying to get to zero.
- 27:25So we look crazy by comparison. So Randy Westland
- 27:30is the kind of guy who's like, yeah, so we got
- 27:31these license plate readers and they help us
- 27:33stop crime. And I'm okay with it as long as it
- 27:36only goes this far. Well, also, it's Motorola
- 27:38not flock. Yeah, because apparently Motorola
- 27:41is less evil than flock. I don't know. Right.
- 27:43Well, Motorola is Japanese. Flock is American.
- 27:45You know, we love the Japs. I guess the land
- 27:47of the rising sun, land of the rising sun. I
- 27:48mean, nothing to see here. And I understand how
- 27:51it sounds because that it sounds overly cynical
- 27:53and too blackpilly. And I totally get that. And
- 27:56the point of this show is not to do that. Really,
- 27:58it is not at the point of the show. Yeah, exactly.
- 28:01The point of the show is to laugh at some of
- 28:03this. this stuff and just like the no agenda
- 28:05mothership to shrink the amygdala and just sort
- 28:07of be able to more easily laugh off a lot of
- 28:09this crap that gets shoved in our face and not
- 28:11not let it spin you up because it's all baloney.
- 28:13Well, we do give credit where credit's due, Scott.
- 28:15We do. I think maybe not as much as we could,
- 28:17but we we make a point to do. We did it today
- 28:20with Randy Westling credit where credit's due.
- 28:21Thanks, Randy, for for not letting the boot step
- 28:24on us harder for being at 40 instead of 80. Yeah.
- 28:27And ultimately, we've talked about this to Scott
- 28:29on air and off is like as libertarian slash.
- 28:32me being the anarchist and you I think being
- 28:34close to where I'm at on that. All we're doing
- 28:37is comparing shades of shit at this point. Imagine
- 28:40it's beer and all the beer has piss in it and
- 28:42we're just arguing about how much piss we want
- 28:44in our beer. I want zero. I want zero piss."
- 28:48But conservatives are like, 30 % piss is okay.
- 28:51That's okay. Let's get to 30%. We'll be happy.
- 28:54And I'm like, okay, well, as long as we're at
- 28:5680%, yeah, I'll push in the same direction as
- 28:58you. Let's get it down to 30%. Then once we hit
- 29:0030 % piss, I wanted it fucking zero, please.
- 29:03But we're not going to argue with each other
- 29:04until we get to that point. The Catholics and
- 29:07the Christians used to kill each other over religion.
- 29:09Well, now there's no reason for us to do it because
- 29:11it's basically Catholics and Protestants against
- 29:15everybody else. I want to get back to the point
- 29:18in time where everybody is a believer and we
- 29:21all believe so much that now Catholics and Protestants
- 29:23can go to war again over the Pope versus no Pope.
- 29:27But we're not there. Well, here is one more on
- 29:31this topic. This is also KTVB. This is Southern
- 29:36Idaho because they did feature some like a crowded
- 29:38city council meeting and some of what the Hoi
- 29:41Ploy citizens had to say. Welcome into the news
- 29:44at 10. I'm Morgan Romero. Our top story tonight,
- 29:47the Twin Falls police chief is proposing changes
- 29:50to the department's automated license plate reader
- 29:52cameras. Our Aspen Schumper joins us in studio
- 29:54and Aspen, is this in response to concerns brought
- 29:57forward by residents like we're seeing around
- 29:58the country? Definitely is hot topic across the
- 30:01country and right here in Idaho. But Matthew
- 30:04Hicks, the police chief of the department, says
- 30:06he wants the community know that the department
- 30:09is listening. Chief Hicks says the program. does
- 30:12not monitor people's daily lives or average everyday
- 30:16travel. It's aimed at identifying vehicles connected
- 30:18to crimes and missing people. See, exactly. This
- 30:21is how they do it. Every single time. The formula
- 30:24is identical. Name a place, name a time, name
- 30:28a situation. It could be flat cameras. It could
- 30:31be the Patriot Act. It could be whatever new
- 30:33law they put on the books at the state legislature
- 30:35every single time. It's like, well, we're only
- 30:37using it for this. It's like, yeah, today. Sure.
- 30:40And then tomorrow it's something else or, or,
- 30:44and, or again, Idaho being a great example, the,
- 30:50the number of laws on the books in Idaho are
- 30:52Legion, even just in Idaho, not counting federal,
- 30:55there's, there's, there's a bigger list of what
- 30:57you can't do versus what you can do. Now they
- 30:59don't enforce most of it. Right. And so most
- 31:01people don't even think about it. They're like,
- 31:02well, what are you worried about? It doesn't
- 31:04matter. They don't even enforce it. And it's
- 31:06like, yeah, today, but the moment that they want
- 31:11to, they can, and they will. The moment you run
- 31:14over two flock cameras, not only will they get
- 31:16you from malicious injury to property, but now
- 31:18they hit you for five other things like failing
- 31:21to report a crash. And that's how they do it.
- 31:25And most, most people, Scott, don't, they just
- 31:28can't not comprehend. They cannot think past
- 31:30their own nose and understand that more laws
- 31:32on the books don't keep us safe. They actually
- 31:35are more dangerous to us because it just gives
- 31:37the government more things they can charge us
- 31:39with. And from government's perspective, the
- 31:42more ways and things that the state can put their
- 31:46boot on our neck for, quote unquote, legitimately
- 31:48or legally, because, hey, it's law and you violated
- 31:53it. That makes you a criminal. Yeah, but all
- 31:54I did was jaywalk. Tough shit sucker. It's on
- 31:57the books. It's on the books. It's a law. You're
- 31:59a criminal. You break the law. You're a criminal.
- 32:02Well, that's where the, you know, that's where
- 32:04the cynicism sneaks in. And I don't want it to,
- 32:07but I don't know why it's not the appropriate
- 32:09reaction to stuff like this. Well, we don't use
- 32:11it for that. And well, I don't care. You introduce
- 32:15it and then time passes and it becomes like routine
- 32:19infrastructure. And then it gets used for more.
- 32:22It metastasizes. It just always does. That's
- 32:25how it works. That's the word, ready? Yep. It
- 32:27metastasizes. Since turning the cameras on in
- 32:302023, the department now has expanded its fleet
- 32:33to 40 cameras across the city. Wait, didn't they
- 32:36just say we shouldn't be worried? But they've
- 32:38expanded. It took them three years to expand
- 32:41their reach. The cameras metastasize into a city
- 32:45-wide web. I mean, excuse me, but there's now
- 32:4730 cameras. Across the city. 40. I'm sorry, 40.
- 32:50Across the city. But tonight, Chief Hicks proposed
- 32:52changes. The first, removing a section of the
- 32:55department's contract with the camera provider,
- 32:58which is Flock Safety, that lets the company
- 33:01use some of the data to develop more technology.
- 33:04Twin Falls and other Idaho cities have been threatened
- 33:06with legal action by DFlock Idaho. Over that,
- 33:10critics saying it conflicts with state... law
- 33:12limiting camera data to law enforcement use only.
- 33:17They did bring up a concern. And while we don't
- 33:19think to this point, it's been a violation of
- 33:22state law. That area is a gray area. And you
- 33:25know what he doesn't say, though? It's always
- 33:27about we don't. Well, we don't think it's a violation
- 33:29of the law. But you never hear them say a violation
- 33:32of personal liberty or a violation of the privacy
- 33:36or a violation of. your natural rights. They
- 33:40always default to, well, we're pretty sure it's
- 33:42legal. We're not technically, we don't think.
- 33:44I don't care if it's legal or not. That's not
- 33:46the point. The point is, does it violate natural
- 33:49law? My natural rights, my right to privacy,
- 33:51my right to be left the hell alone. But we live
- 33:55in an age where that doesn't even come up anymore.
- 33:57They don't think you have that. Yeah, they just
- 33:58don't think you have that. and in an abundance
- 34:01of caution, we're gonna ask to remove that. Ah,
- 34:03an abundance of caution. Did we hear Mario Cuomo,
- 34:06I mean, excuse me, Andrew Cuomo say that earlier?
- 34:08Did they use that a lot too? An abundance of
- 34:10caution. Is this like two weeks to flatten the
- 34:12surveillance curve? Two weeks to flatten your
- 34:14freedom. And in an abundance of caution, we're
- 34:16gonna ask to remove that. Chief Hicks says last
- 34:20week he shut off a flock feature called the nationwide
- 34:23lookup tool that lets other officers across the
- 34:26country search. Search Twin Falls is camera data.
- 34:30He also pulled $88 ,000 of real time video upgrades
- 34:34from City Council's consideration. It would have
- 34:37brought five new cameras online. Hicks says both
- 34:40moves show they're listening to people's concerns,
- 34:42but during public OK, cynical Paul. Here we go
- 34:45again like alright, we're. We're up to 40 cameras,
- 34:49but just to show you that we care and we're listening.
- 34:52Good news, citizens. We're going to hold off
- 34:54on 45 for now. You're welcome. We're going to
- 34:56stay at 40. Don't worry, guys. We got you. We're
- 34:59listening. The other aspect of that was, and
- 35:03he turned off the national database feature.
- 35:07Yeah, he clicked the button. For now. He unchecked
- 35:09the box. I am immediately thinking, what, just
- 35:10like that? You could just turn it off. So that
- 35:13also means you can just turn it back on. And
- 35:17nobody could even, you could say, Hey, I turned
- 35:20it off. And then you could go back to the office
- 35:22the next week and be like, well, I think I'm
- 35:24going to click. I'm going to uncheck the box.
- 35:27Just quietly turn it back on and nobody will
- 35:29know who's going to know. You can't audit it.
- 35:31The only time somebody will actually ever find
- 35:33out is if you go to use it. And then if somebody,
- 35:36when you're, when you go to use it goes, Hey,
- 35:38wait a minute. You said three years ago, you
- 35:40turned this off. Oh yeah, my bad. Well, we had
- 35:43to use it cause emergency. But don't worry, we'll
- 35:46turn it back off when we're done. Yes, there
- 35:48was an APB out on a guy with three names, so
- 35:51we had to use it. This shit is so basic, and
- 35:53yet most people just go, oh, OK, well, five less
- 35:56cameras, and you just, boop, turned off a feature
- 35:59that you can turn right back on? OK, good enough
- 36:01for me. And that's where the conservatives are
- 36:04at. Most dumbass conservatives, even in Idaho
- 36:07right now, will listen to this and be like, oh,
- 36:09OK. We got what we wanted. We're good. They listened.
- 36:14They care, Scott. Like, too. They're always looking
- 36:17out for us. It's like that meme I sent you with
- 36:19a, it's got this guy in a suit and tie swinging
- 36:23around a pole like a stripper, and these two
- 36:25people are throwing money at him, and the one
- 36:27guy turns to the other and goes, this politician
- 36:28really cares about me. Just to give it to money.
- 36:32But during public comment in tonight's meeting,
- 36:34more than a dozen spoke on the topic. The majority
- 36:37wanting the cameras removed, while others say
- 36:40they see it as a useful tool. I think it makes
- 36:44our community safer, and I feel confident under
- 36:46the leadership of you at the dais, of our city
- 36:49administration, and of Chief Hicks and his team,
- 36:52that it'll continue to be used in the right way.
- 36:55How many dollars do you want to bet that this
- 36:57is the guy, this guy called people in for COVID
- 36:59violations? Yes. How many dollars? Yes. State?
- 37:03state. Yeah, I just needed to tell you that I
- 37:06saw a guy walking his dog with only one mask
- 37:10on. And I know you said to as I just thought
- 37:12you should know that you should know this guy
- 37:14drives alone with a mask on. And he absolutely
- 37:17called the hotline. Let's listen one more time
- 37:21to what actually, for one, this is who that -
- 37:24These are the people we're actually at war with,
- 37:26ultimately, Scott. Complete. These people. Because
- 37:28one dude with a funny mustache on the corner
- 37:30of Fifth and Main telling us to kill all the
- 37:33Jews, like, so what, psycho? We don't care. Go
- 37:37away. You have no power over us. Cock suckers
- 37:40like this, who follow the guy with the funny
- 37:42mustache? They're the enemy. So true. Let's listen
- 37:46one more time to what he really to what he just
- 37:48said. I think it makes our community safer. And
- 37:51I feel confident under the leadership of you
- 37:53at the dais of our city administration. and of
- 37:57Chief Hicks and his team that will continue to
- 37:59be used in the right way. In the right way. All
- 38:02we need is the right people in the right places.
- 38:04The leadership. Surveilling us and using violence
- 38:07in the right way and then we will have our utopia.
- 38:10He thinks that the people behind the podium or
- 38:13whatever, the city council chamber, he thinks
- 38:15that they're leaders. Oh, glorious leaders. Thank
- 38:19you for your love and surveillance. He thinks
- 38:23that surveillance equals safety of the community.
- 38:26So the leaders surveilling him equals safety,
- 38:29and that he's confident that the leaders won't
- 38:32misuse the technology. That's what he just said.
- 38:35I got a new city slogan for you, Scott. Just
- 38:37came to me right now. We stare because we care.
- 38:43That's a little long for a show title. That's
- 38:45pretty good. We stare. We should write that to,
- 38:49we should send that into Mayor Westland. We stare
- 38:52because we care, but only via Motorola. Yeah,
- 38:58okay, let's continue on none of that name -brand
- 39:00flock shit We're off it does Kirkland signature
- 39:04make a camera yet. I like my surveillance off
- 39:06-brand Thank you very much color every background
- 39:09all of us United saying the same thing and the
- 39:13warrantless surveillance of Twin Falls the government
- 39:16loves it when the people are divided Well, we're
- 39:19not divided on this one. Well, yeah, you are.
- 39:21Yeah, you are. See, now this guy is he's saying
- 39:23he's he would be more in line with us. Like,
- 39:25no, this is not cool. But he's doing the same
- 39:27stupid BS that the I mean, politicians do it
- 39:30all the time. We're like, We're all in this together.
- 39:33No, we're not. Did you not just hear the guy
- 39:35who spoke? This is the clip as it aired on KTVB.
- 39:41I did not edit this continues to be used in the
- 39:43right way. Every color, every background. That's
- 39:46how tightly they put together the guy who said
- 39:49the leaders will not surveil as badly and the
- 39:51guy who said they will surveil as badly and everyone
- 39:55in the room agrees. So instead of doing what
- 39:56they do when it serves their purpose, there would
- 39:59have been a quick a verbal segue by the reporter
- 40:02between those two things had it served their
- 40:04agenda was like, so some citizens believe in
- 40:07the boot on the neck. Meanwhile, others are not
- 40:10so sure. Yep. Transition speech. Absolutely right.
- 40:15Look at how tight that is together. And they
- 40:17almost sound like the same guy. If you're driving
- 40:20down the highway to work. Yes. And you're listening
- 40:22to this shit on the radio. you would think it
- 40:24was almost the same guy with the background noise,
- 40:28with the distraction of driving. So all of a
- 40:30sudden you're like, wait a minute, did I just
- 40:31hear the reverse of what I just heard from the,
- 40:34what is happening here? Oh, well, I don't have
- 40:36time to, again, they can't do what we're doing
- 40:38right now. Nope. Put it on pause. It just goes
- 40:40right by. Break it down. Just goes right by.
- 40:42And that's a great point. They really do sound
- 40:44very tonally similar and they kept it so tight.
- 40:48And then when I... said to Paul, I said, look
- 40:50at how tightly because we're in the same room,
- 40:51I'm pointing at the waveform and you can see
- 40:54how little space there is between those two people.
- 40:57And if you look at the rest of this waveform,
- 40:59there's tons of other spaces except there. Except
- 41:02there. And of Chief Hicks and his team that will
- 41:04continue to be used in the right way. Every color,
- 41:07every background. That's two different people.
- 41:09United saying the same thing. With two very different
- 41:11opinions. And the warrantless surveillance of
- 41:13Twin Falls. The government loves it when the
- 41:16people are divided. Well, we're not divided on
- 41:18this one. Well, we know you are. You're but we
- 41:21are divided. I don't know why. Why would you
- 41:24say something like that? That's probably a prepared
- 41:26speech. No vote was taken on any of those proposes
- 41:29tonight. That will come on a later date. So talk,
- 41:32talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. We're going to
- 41:35shut it off. Hey, do we want to vote on this
- 41:38tonight? Nah. Nah. Nah. Now this is just a glimpse
- 41:41into the formative. That was performative. That
- 41:43entire council meeting was performative. Hello.
- 41:48What are the odds, Scott, that nothing happens
- 41:51or it will take another, what, three meetings,
- 41:54four meetings? Because that's the thing. That's
- 41:56another tactic that the state, the government
- 41:58can use. Again, at every level, it's just weighted
- 42:00out. People have such short attention spans.
- 42:04And it does require energy on our part. It requires
- 42:06time, energy, paying attention, sometimes money.
- 42:10Time, talent, treasure. We have regular jobs.
- 42:12We have regular lives. We have things to take
- 42:14care of and do. And so it is a sacrifice for
- 42:18the people to hold their government accountable.
- 42:21I shouldn't say their government, name my government,
- 42:23but whatever, to hold the state accountable.
- 42:26The state. The state could just sit there and
- 42:28be like, well, This is great, guys. Thanks for
- 42:30your time. We've heard you. You've been, you've
- 42:32been heard, Citizen. We'll vote on this later.
- 42:35We'll meet again in a few weeks and then we'll
- 42:38meet again a few weeks from now. We'll see how
- 42:39you guys feel in a month. Oh, are you guys still
- 42:42here? Yeah, wait them out. Now this is just a
- 42:45glimpse into the conversation around this technology.
- 42:48Tomorrow on the 208, we dive deeper into flock
- 42:51cameras, bringing you details on how law enforcement
- 42:53uses them, what Idahoans think of the systems
- 42:55and Morgan, how state lawmakers - This is gonna
- 42:57be like their last segment where they dove into
- 43:00why Washington gas prices are so much higher.
- 43:04without answering the question ever. Be prepared
- 43:06for all the answers on tomorrow's show. Lawmakers
- 43:10want to regulate the technology. It's like the
- 43:13sometimes at like dive bars, you'll see the sign
- 43:15behind the bar. This is free beer tomorrow. My
- 43:18favorite one is buy your first beer at full price.
- 43:21Get your second beer at full price. You've been
- 43:24covering this for so long now. I'm really glad
- 43:26you guys are like taking it so long. What? Like
- 43:28three weeks? Totally. Jigs. So long now. I'm
- 43:32really glad you guys are like. taking a deeper,
- 43:34more holistic look at this and covering all these
- 43:36various angles. Here's what they're going to
- 43:37do. Scott, they're going to call up Flock executives
- 43:41and be like, Hey, so we're doing some investigative
- 43:43journalism over here. We just wanted to know,
- 43:46are you guys surveilling people? No, no, no,
- 43:50no surveillance. And if we don't do that, but
- 43:53if we did do that, it's for your safety. And
- 43:57if it wasn't for your safety, we're the good
- 43:59guys. Don't worry about it. Oh, okay, cool. Let's
- 44:04get on the air tomorrow and report what we found
- 44:07out. Report what we found out. So Flock said
- 44:09they're not doing the thing, but they also said
- 44:11that if they were doing the thing, it's for a
- 44:13good cause. We're KTVB and we'll be right back
- 44:16after these messages from Pfizer. Sponsored by
- 44:19Fleiser. Brought to you by Pfizer. My flocks
- 44:23are. Serious angles. Yeah, all of the angles
- 44:26tomorrow. All right, Aspen, thank you. New feature
- 44:29added to flock cameras in a month. You're going
- 44:32to be able to walk up to them and get your pills
- 44:34directly from the flock camera stand. It's got
- 44:37a built -in dispenser. For your Ambien or whatever
- 44:42the hell. Ambien, yeah. So you can stay asleep
- 44:46at the city council meetings. Flarmacies. It's
- 44:51a good show title, but I don't know if it uh,
- 44:54I don't think it'll quite read or translate Well,
- 44:56you just see it now walk up and you're like you
- 44:58don't even have to offer them a prescription
- 44:59They don't ask because they already know The
- 45:04prescription that this show was given by the
- 45:07holistic humor humor is the prescription And
- 45:11it's brand. It's the value for value model by
- 45:14which that humor is delivered. Yep No ID. This
- 45:17program is a value for value proposition And
- 45:21it means that this is an ad free show. There
- 45:23are no sponsors on this program. There are no
- 45:26Pfizer's or flocks or Motorola's or anything
- 45:28else that sponsor this show. And that means that
- 45:30we don't pitch baloney to you that you don't
- 45:32care about. And hopefully you don't reach for
- 45:34the fast forward button because there's just
- 45:36no reason to. I'm a fan of ham myself anyway.
- 45:38So no baloney, just ham. No spam. Nothing. No.
- 45:44What's the one with all the chunks in it? Isn't
- 45:47there like a pimento, like a pimento loaf? Dude,
- 45:50that sounds like childhood trauma. I don't know
- 45:53what you're talking about and I am glad. Show
- 45:55me on the doll where the pimento touched. No,
- 45:57let me show you. I'll show you a picture. No,
- 45:58man. That's the kind of a mealtime trauma that
- 46:00you just put what you stuff way deep down inside
- 46:04your emotions and you never ever let out. Sometimes
- 46:07suppressing your feelings is the way to go. That's
- 46:10a pimento loaf. Dude, that gives a whole new
- 46:13meaning to eating your feelings. Pimento loaf
- 46:17is a loaf type luncheon meat with beef and pork,
- 46:20pickles and pimento? That is disgusting. Well,
- 46:23it exists. No, it's things that should not exist.
- 46:26So I'm going to file that right under flock.
- 46:29Things that should not exist. Pimento spam and
- 46:32flock surveillance cameras. It's a loaf, a loaf
- 46:35luncheon. That's what we need. We need flock
- 46:37surveillance cameras that dispense pimento spam.
- 46:40Oh, yum. Here you are, citizen, your ambient
- 46:42and your pimento spam. Now go away. Worried about
- 46:45being surveilled? Just eat your feelings away.
- 46:49In any case. Now with extra crickets. None of
- 46:54these things exist as sponsors on this show or
- 46:57anything remotely related to it because we run
- 47:00on value for value. That means that we attempt
- 47:03to make a valuable product with this program.
- 47:05It comes out every Thursday. There's no advertisements
- 47:08and there's nothing being pitched to you except
- 47:10I just want you to know that if pimento spam
- 47:13offered us a sponsorship, I would take it. I
- 47:16totally would take it. You'd be doing the show
- 47:18alone. There wouldn't even be money. They'd probably
- 47:20just offer us a product, a pallet of pimento,
- 47:23pallet of pimento. And there's your show title.
- 47:25Yes. You're welcome. Scott pallet of pimento.
- 47:29Carry on sir. Yes, so if if you Enjoy the ad
- 47:35free experience and you enjoy the program and
- 47:37consider it valuable like we try to make it We
- 47:40ask that you return value to the show with your
- 47:42time your talent or your treasure This model
- 47:45and now I can't think of a more appropriate time
- 47:47when we will I like to do it every once in a
- 47:49while To credit the mothership who pioneered
- 47:53this model and that is Adam and John had no agenda
- 47:56the legendary John C. Dvorak transcended this
- 48:02plane of existence last Monday. And so it seems
- 48:06like a very appropriate time to thank them even
- 48:09more. Yeah, actually. So not only did John do
- 48:18that show and many other shows for I don't know
- 48:22what 40 years he had a very, very long and distinguished
- 48:24career in all forms of media. He and Adam pioneered
- 48:28no no agendas value for value model and the notion
- 48:31of everything that we just described of not being
- 48:34beholden to sponsors or advertisers and just
- 48:36trying to put out a valuable product and ask
- 48:39the producers of your program, all the people
- 48:41out there who consume and enjoy it to return
- 48:44value. John was a legend and I'm I'm broadcasting
- 48:48through and through. That's where I've. Been
- 48:50since I was 18 and it's always been Liked it
- 48:53since long before that. I'm a radio nerd and
- 48:56uh, so john was a huge figure in that world and
- 49:00affected a great many people for a long time
- 49:03and uh He was the man can I say so thank you
- 49:09to john and thank you to no agenda for Leading
- 49:13the way in the value for value the international
- 49:16lifestyle that is value for value We are trying
- 49:20to carry the torch and do the same thing time
- 49:22talent treasure Is what it sounds like your time
- 49:27and your talent means? Sending us articles like
- 49:30when you sit when you guys that saw the flock
- 49:32camera stuff that was blanketing or everyone's
- 49:34algos this week And you thought to click the
- 49:36button and send it through to us That is a form
- 49:38of value returned in the time category. Talent,
- 49:42putting together audio or show art or anything
- 49:44that you want to send to us. This is all at noidshow
- 49:47.com by the way. You can sign up for the newsletter
- 49:50and get in contact with us or return treasure
- 49:52in the time talent treasure model all at noidshow
- 49:55.com. And that's it. It's a super straightforward
- 49:59and simple model. And it's really the only real
- 50:02honest form of broadcast or anything else. Is
- 50:05just to say, here's what we do for value, sense
- 50:08of value back. If you find it valuable, sending
- 50:11in treasure makes you a, an executive producer.
- 50:14And we do have some executive producers this
- 50:17week who saw fit to return treasure to no ID.
- 50:21And we greatly appreciate that. And along the
- 50:24lines of the flock cameras, let's start with
- 50:28Jack Kramer. Oh, Hey Jack, welcome back. And
- 50:32Jack has been a, this is a man who understands
- 50:35the value for value model and he frequently returns
- 50:38value to this program. In this case, he did both
- 50:41time and treasure because he sent a couple different
- 50:47articles on the whole flock situation. And with
- 50:50his row of ducks, 22 .22, he sent the following
- 50:55message. It's a quote. If a law is unjust, A
- 51:00man is not only right to disobey it, he is obliged
- 51:03to do so." End quote. And then this is now Jack's
- 51:06commentary. Pay your local crackhead to destroy
- 51:08the flock cameras. Hey! Jack and I are on the
- 51:11same wavelength here. Yes. Now, this is great.
- 51:13You'll love this. Jack sent a follow -up message
- 51:16and said, in case Paul says... There's an anti
- 51:21-flock movement, but why don't people care about
- 51:23all the other things that are taking their freedoms?
- 51:25Tell him to shut up Jack get out of my head Tell
- 51:28him to shut up a step in the right direction
- 51:30is never a bad thing That's from Jack Kramer
- 51:33multiple bells for you too many bells for you
- 51:36Jack also get out of my head you bastard Beautiful
- 51:39bastard that was great. Well done sir hat tip
- 51:42to you credit where credit is due Pecker would
- 51:46Thanks, Jack. Thanks, Jack. Awesome And we know
- 51:51Jack listens to the podcast. Oh, yeah Jack is
- 51:54Jack listens carefully And the next This other
- 52:01the other executive producer this week on episode
- 52:03number 39 of no ID is Dan of the dead Dead sent
- 52:08in 39 at 39. Oh nice and what you did there.
- 52:12Thank you, Dan Not much of a note. It just says
- 52:14show number donation baller. So That is we love
- 52:19numerology. Yes, we do So, you know show number
- 52:21donations, whatever whatever value means to you
- 52:24whatever numerology means to you There are some
- 52:26options if you need inspiration for an amount
- 52:29at no ID show comm some of them are you know,
- 52:3233 33 and homage to the mothership and there's
- 52:35the 69 which will explain when you're older and
- 52:38etc or Just send whatever value means to you
- 52:41and it means many different things to many different
- 52:42people But all of that is with the caveat if
- 52:45you find this show valuable Simple as that. Well,
- 52:49honestly, don't listen to Scott, even if you
- 52:50don't find it valuable, but you want to send
- 52:52money. That's OK. Send money. I take it back.
- 52:55You're not Scott. He is. I'll take you down there
- 52:57for twenty five. Do I need to do it? I probably
- 53:00did. So Paul's in person here so he doesn't have
- 53:02it. I don't have my soundboard. How do you know?
- 53:05I did it. I did. I did the thing. I did OK at
- 53:07it. OK, so you can do you do it live. But we're
- 53:10doing it live, doing it live. Fine. Good enough.
- 53:12I thought you liked that kind of thing. I do.
- 53:13Yeah. And you just didn't do the whole thing.
- 53:15Oh, OK. OK. Hold on. I'll take you down there
- 53:18for 25 Schmeckles. 25 Schmeckles. Is that a lot?
- 53:21Is that a little? I don't know how much it is.
- 53:24All right. Thank you, executive producers, for
- 53:26your Schmeckles. We do really appreciate it.
- 53:29We haven't spent a single one for like 10 months.
- 53:31I know. I have. Saving them up. Dude, I think
- 53:32we've lost 25 percent of our Schmeckles to inflation.
- 53:35I think you're right. We should. I don't know.
- 53:37We should. What should we do? Should do something.
- 53:41We can pay a crackhead to destroy a flock camera.
- 53:44No, the reward is what they get out of the flock
- 53:48camera. I'm not paying somebody to get a reward
- 53:51out of a flock camera. Hayden is going to install
- 53:53the pimento loaf dispensers on their flock cameras.
- 53:56It's just in. That's because all of the boomers
- 53:59have repressed trauma from when they were kids
- 54:01and got to enjoy pimento loaf. Like, you know
- 54:04what? I'd like my surveillance with an extra
- 54:06helping of trauma. Let's say we got corn flakes
- 54:09in the morning. We got a pimento loaf sandwich
- 54:11in the afternoon and a TV dinner in the evening.
- 54:13Ice cream sandwiches. Perfect. All right. Let's
- 54:16you want to do a song because I got to pee. Yeah,
- 54:17I actually have a song. Oh, what do you want
- 54:19to do? I sent it to you. So you can actually
- 54:21pull it up immediately, or I will show you what
- 54:24I sent you. Where did you send it? Stand by your
- 54:26messenger, because I figured you'd be on your
- 54:28computer when you open it up, and that would
- 54:30make it easy. Let's see. You want me to just
- 54:32tell it to you? Yeah, just tell it to me. OK.
- 54:34Audio Adrenaline is the band. Goodbye is the
- 54:37song. All right, sweet. You know, when you told
- 57:53me the news this afternoon, I was like, oh, I
- 57:56know exactly what we're doing for this. So. All
- 58:00right. All right. P .J .C .D. All right. Well,
- 58:03onto something that J .C .D. loved slash hated
- 58:07slash loved, which is a guess and specifically
- 58:10grousing during second half of show, which is
- 58:13where we're at. So let's start with this weird
- 58:17one. So we mentioned it earlier. Speaking of
- 58:20the legal system. This is But I don't know one
- 58:25of the biggest stories in Idaho in the last five
- 58:27years, which is the Moscow murders you're talking
- 58:29about you're talking about the Four I think it
- 58:33was for young folks who got brutally. That's
- 58:37the one. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, and I we have
- 58:40I Really for My audio sounds different than it
- 58:45did and I don't know us. I don't know. Maybe
- 58:46did you adjust a dial? No, nothing Okay, there
- 58:52we go. Okay. You did adjust the dial. Liar! I
- 58:54turned the headphones down a little bit. Oh,
- 58:56so it's just me who can't hear me. Okay, so after
- 58:58I tell you how much I like my voice, you're just
- 59:00like, you know what, Paul, get fucked. And you
- 59:02turn the dial down, so I can't even hear me.
- 59:05Something's wrong. Dude, this is the only reason
- 59:07I even do this podcast. Don't you take that away
- 59:11from me. So speaking of narcissists and people
- 59:14who like the sounds of their own voices, the
- 59:16guy... accused slash convicted. Whoa, whoa. Lumping
- 59:19me in with a murderer. Speaking of psychopaths.
- 59:23Paul James Banducci. What's your middle name?
- 59:26Michael. Michael. Well, I was close. Close enough.
- 59:28Three names. Three awesome names. This is now
- 59:32back in the news because, well, you'll hear.
- 59:35The man convicted last year of murdering four
- 59:38University of Idaho students wants to take back
- 59:40his guilty plea and go to trial. I don't think
- 59:43you can do that. That's court documents we obtained
- 59:44this afternoon. burger is serving four life sentences
- 59:48with no possibility of parole. The man claims
- 59:51he's innocent and was misled into confessing
- 59:54to them. So they say four life sentences. Yeah.
- 59:56Yeah. That'll show him. Yeah. I always love that.
- 59:59The notion of like, well, see, the crime was
- 1:00:01really horrendous. So you get 27 life sentences.
- 1:00:03I mean, are we working on a brand spanking new
- 1:00:06swanky ass firing squad laboratory? That's what
- 1:00:09we keep being told. We just punk that guy out
- 1:00:11in there. Four life sentences. Are you serious?
- 1:00:14What is even the point? Well, to your point,
- 1:00:16to that point, but the legal system, but they'll,
- 1:00:18but they'll nab you for failing to report an
- 1:00:20accident. Yeah. Legal system. I can't see it,
- 1:00:23but I'm doing jazz hands and the, the note, the
- 1:00:26like, Oh, comparing tire tread and the CSIing
- 1:00:28of it too. This was actually, it never, it never
- 1:00:32went to a full, uh, trial in the sense where,
- 1:00:35you know, Oh, we're going to examine all this
- 1:00:37evidence and present like the OJ style because
- 1:00:39he pleaded guilty. And so because he pleaded
- 1:00:42guilty, they just basically sentenced him and
- 1:00:44the whole point - The plea bargain was for life
- 1:00:46sentences. Correct. Like once you're past the
- 1:00:48first one, what's even the point of the other
- 1:00:50three? It was to avoid the death penalty. Just
- 1:00:52in case you get past that first one, don't you
- 1:00:54worry. We got three more stacked up, sucker.
- 1:00:56That's how you know the crime was really, really
- 1:00:58bad. Yeah, super bad, yeah. Get ready for your
- 1:01:00next life. Oh, boy. With no possibility of parole.
- 1:01:03The man claims he's innocent and was misled.
- 1:01:06All right, change my mind. Coeberger claims his
- 1:01:08legal counsel, quote, threatened him into entering
- 1:01:11a guilty plea. In his own words, Coburger writes
- 1:01:14he was, quote, convinced to falsely confess to
- 1:01:17capital murder and felony burglary by coercion,
- 1:01:21disinformation, false promises, and the withholding
- 1:01:24of exculpatory discovery. Coburger lists several
- 1:01:26examples. This sounds like an exit interview
- 1:01:27for an MSM position. Coburger claims his public
- 1:01:31attorneys didn't inform him about alleged clumps
- 1:01:34of unknown hair in Ethan Chapin's hands. Number
- 1:01:37two, Coburger says his attorneys advised him
- 1:01:40to lie to get a, quote, legal victory in entering
- 1:01:43a guilty plea. Number three, he claims his attorneys
- 1:01:46gave him a, quote, gross misrepresentation and
- 1:01:49promises of what a life sentence would mean.
- 1:01:52He says his attorneys also gave him a fabulous
- 1:01:54- How do you misrepresent a life sentence? Have
- 1:01:58questions. They didn't tell me anyone would be
- 1:02:00mean to me while I was in prison like whoa Whoa,
- 1:02:03you guys didn't say I had to be here for the
- 1:02:05rest of my life Whoa, you'd help you didn't describe
- 1:02:07what the showers were like wait. No wait. No
- 1:02:09parole means I don't get out He says his attorneys
- 1:02:13also gave him a fabricated story about how small
- 1:02:16a death row cell is. For all those reasons, Coburger
- 1:02:19claims. They told me it was only, I think they,
- 1:02:23something like, oh, they told me it was only
- 1:02:25eight by eight. Wait, so he is on death row then?
- 1:02:27No, he's not because part of the plea, the whole
- 1:02:30point of the guilty plea was no death penalty.
- 1:02:32Gotcha. In order to get him to. If you plead
- 1:02:35out, you'll get a bigger cell. Yeah. You don't
- 1:02:37want to be on the death row cell now, do you?
- 1:02:39At least that's what he's saying. In one way
- 1:02:41that is. kind of a weirdly, oddly, disgustingly
- 1:02:43legitimate thing because you spend 20 plus years
- 1:02:46on death row while you fight it 18 times. So
- 1:02:49you're just going to look at the next 20 or 30
- 1:02:51years in an eight by eight versus a 10 by 10.
- 1:02:53And as somebody who's been in jail twice, that
- 1:02:56shit actually matters. The little things make
- 1:02:58a big difference in there. All right, I'm going
- 1:03:02to tell you a quick story of how big the little
- 1:03:04things are in there. Here comes a prison story
- 1:03:06from Paul Michael Banducci. Hair plug prison
- 1:03:09Paul has a story. When I was in there, it was
- 1:03:12at the height of the COVID and they locked us
- 1:03:14out. We couldn't go outside on the grounds. We
- 1:03:16couldn't get any fresh air. They had a whole
- 1:03:17different SOP set up and it was very restrictive.
- 1:03:20Right. Well, they also have inmate workers who
- 1:03:22do the laundry and who do the meal prep. Restrictive.
- 1:03:26Corrections officers don't, there are no like,
- 1:03:28there's no private contractors who do food. It's
- 1:03:32straight up inmate workers. Well, COVID was going
- 1:03:35around as it would, and they tested for it. Like
- 1:03:39every week, they tested all of us. They forced
- 1:03:40us to stick the PCR. Oh, dude, what are those
- 1:03:43things? The giant ass things that are supposed
- 1:03:45to go in your ears. Q -tips. Q -tips, thank you.
- 1:03:47But way up our noses instead. They forced us
- 1:03:49to do that like every week. Well, the kitchen
- 1:03:52crew got tested, and boom, COVID. They all had
- 1:03:55it. So for a couple of days while they were trying
- 1:03:58to dial up the cycles on the PCR so we can make
- 1:03:59sure the kitchen staff test positive, dude, it
- 1:04:01felt like it was punishment because when that
- 1:04:02happened, it wiped out the entire kitchen crew.
- 1:04:04And when it wiped out the entire kitchen crew,
- 1:04:06there was nobody to fill the void until they
- 1:04:07got more people like two days later. So for two
- 1:04:09days, what they gave us for food was about a
- 1:04:13third, a third, I wish I would have eaten it.
- 1:04:16So dude, it was about a third of what you're
- 1:04:17supposed to get caloric intake wise. But by the
- 1:04:21second day, There were enough people who were
- 1:04:23mad about it. And I, including me, like it's
- 1:04:25a whole interesting place in there. I'm a pretty
- 1:04:28grounded, intelligent, not crazy person. And
- 1:04:31by like day eight in there, I was actually ready
- 1:04:32to really hurt people, which it's a whole nother
- 1:04:35conversation for another time, the way the institution
- 1:04:37works and what it does to a person. But we're
- 1:04:42actually seriously contemplating, um, rioting
- 1:04:46in our pod. or pod P, I think is where there
- 1:04:48were 18 of us. And the conversation was going
- 1:04:50around the tables about, well, should we do something
- 1:04:54about this? And then like in that, it was almost
- 1:04:56like, of course they were listening to us. So
- 1:04:58they roll up and they give us all a bag of each
- 1:05:00of us, a bag of potato chips. And they're like,
- 1:05:02sorry that your dinners suck so hard. We're not
- 1:05:04really sorry, but you know, sorry. Here's a bag
- 1:05:07of chips. And all of us were like, well, they
- 1:05:11did give us chips. I guess we'll wait and see
- 1:05:13what happens tomorrow. Hey, yeah. And then the
- 1:05:15next day they resumed meals properly and they
- 1:05:17got another crew and we all were kind of grumbling
- 1:05:19about it, but like, well, okay. But they gave
- 1:05:21us a bag of chips. So you're satiated. No, we
- 1:05:25weren't happy, but it was like, well, enough
- 1:05:27to quell the riotous impulses. They did give
- 1:05:30us monkeys a coconut. So, okay. And it was one
- 1:05:34of the most humiliating experiences of my life,
- 1:05:37within one of the most humiliating experiences
- 1:05:39of my life. Anyways, I know that was a long aside,
- 1:05:41but just to give context of how this shit works,
- 1:05:44if you're threatened with an eight by eight versus
- 1:05:45a 10 by 10, and you're looking at 30 years or
- 1:05:4840 years, a man thinks about it. For all of those
- 1:05:52reasons, Coburger claims his attorneys induced
- 1:05:55him into making a plea agreement. I called his
- 1:05:57former attorney, Ann Taylor, today, but her office
- 1:06:00said they were not commenting. But this afternoon,
- 1:06:02we're hearing from the Laetaw County Prosecutor's
- 1:06:04Office. They said in a statement, quote, we are
- 1:06:07saddened by the recent news that the admitted
- 1:06:09murderer of Madison Mogan, Kaylee Gonsalves,
- 1:06:12Ethan Chapin, and Zana Kernodle continues his
- 1:06:14efforts to victimize their families and friends.
- 1:06:18Our office is prepared to defend the well -deserved
- 1:06:20conviction. and sentences, and ensure justice
- 1:06:23prevails. I'm sure it will for the next 30 years.
- 1:06:26I'm sure justice will prevail somehow as we,
- 1:06:29the taxpayer, foot the bill for this for the
- 1:06:30next three decades. Yeah, between him and the
- 1:06:34Boise Greenbelt guy, Ross Wardlaw, it's just
- 1:06:38the never -ending slot machine. My God, what
- 1:06:40do you think the over is on how much public money
- 1:06:42has been put into those two individuals combined?
- 1:06:45It's got to be eight figures. Oh, I would guess
- 1:06:48for sure. I mean, and if it isn't yet, it will
- 1:06:50be after this next round of whatever the hell
- 1:06:52he's trying to pay your taxes or go to prison
- 1:06:54to be alongside them. Well, until you love potholes,
- 1:06:58is that it? Yep. The Consolva's family sent us
- 1:07:00this statement. It reads in part, quote, the
- 1:07:02mosquito you just can't seem to swat. That is
- 1:07:05what Coburger and his following have become to
- 1:07:07this family. Regardless of how this turns out,
- 1:07:10our family is 100 % ready. An actual trial this
- 1:07:13time? Let's go. We are confident he will get
- 1:07:16the death penalty that he escaped by pleading
- 1:07:18guilty the first time around. Wow. Talk about
- 1:07:21people who don't know the system. So what is
- 1:07:25inaccurate about that? That they think they're
- 1:07:28going to get justice. I mean, look at how optimistic
- 1:07:31they say, yeah, let's go. We're ready. It's like,
- 1:07:33oh, cool. You guys are stoked to have to do this
- 1:07:35for 10 more years. You idiots. And you might
- 1:07:38get the death penalty maybe at the end of five
- 1:07:42or 10 years. And then you're lucky if you don't
- 1:07:45die before they kill him. If you're a 40 or 50
- 1:07:49years old dad of murdered daughter, Which and
- 1:07:52I'm not trying to make light of this because
- 1:07:53this sucks and it's sad But like you might be
- 1:07:5680 years old when this guy actually gets a bullet
- 1:07:58totally if he gets a bullet I did receive an
- 1:08:01interesting message from one of I I think he
- 1:08:04might be overboard But I know he has been at
- 1:08:06least a producer in the past and he said oh I
- 1:08:09I bet you he's trying to I bet you he's like
- 1:08:12oh god. I didn't realize prison would be this
- 1:08:14bad I would rather be dead and he's trying to
- 1:08:16get the death penalty Maybe I was like, oh, that's
- 1:08:18an interesting theory. We'll find out soon enough
- 1:08:21if this actually, for one, it seems like this
- 1:08:22is actually unlikely to even happen in the first
- 1:08:24place, because from what I read, it seems like
- 1:08:27this will probably just get denied in the first
- 1:08:29place and it won't ever go to trial because like,
- 1:08:31no, you said you pleaded. You already said all
- 1:08:33the things like, are you doing this under arrest?
- 1:08:35No, that's all stuff that you do when you plead.
- 1:08:37So it's probably just going to be denied. But
- 1:08:39in the event that it did go back to trial, we'll
- 1:08:42find out what it's like the least efficient,
- 1:08:45slowest way. to kill yourself. You're already
- 1:08:50in prison. Here's what you do. You just walk
- 1:08:53up to the nearest cholo and steal a cigarettes.
- 1:08:56Yeah. And now you've got an enemy for life and
- 1:08:59half of the prison will kill you. So that's the
- 1:09:02way to do it. Like just, you know, if you really
- 1:09:05want to end it. go piss off a couple of Cholo's
- 1:09:08or maybe this way, he call it, go say a couple
- 1:09:11of your mama jokes to the other part of the prison
- 1:09:13and really get them riled up and, you know, congrats
- 1:09:15or tell the Aryan nations that white power isn't
- 1:09:17real. There you go. You got three different factions
- 1:09:20that will stab you and all hail the state of
- 1:09:22Israel. Hey guys, check out my new tattoo. It's
- 1:09:25the star of David six point. What do you guys
- 1:09:27think? Can I sit with you? I mean, I see taken
- 1:09:31working under the words a lot of ways to get
- 1:09:33yourself killed in prison if you really want
- 1:09:35to end it searching for the death penalty is
- 1:09:37not the way to do it working under the assumption
- 1:09:39that he is a Narcissist who loves the sound of
- 1:09:41his own voice. Hey now this would be a way to
- 1:09:45continue messing with the Vic the fit the families
- 1:09:48of the victims and continue to stay in the news
- 1:09:50so that you're so that you can continue to gather
- 1:09:53a set of groupies who loves you which has already
- 1:09:55seemed to happen and also eventually kill yourself
- 1:09:58or the whole The theory's not true. It's still
- 1:10:00kind of a jip, because I don't know if you've
- 1:10:02ever been to court or not, Scott. But your lawyer
- 1:10:04does all the talking. You don't even get to speak.
- 1:10:06You stand there like a plank of wood. And I guess
- 1:10:09if they call you to the stand, you get to talk.
- 1:10:12But it's not as fun. No, I've never been to court,
- 1:10:15and I hope I never do. I hope that for you, too.
- 1:10:17We're also hearing from Attorney General Raul
- 1:10:19Labrador, who said, quote, my office stands ready
- 1:10:21to do whatever is necessary to ensure justice
- 1:10:24is fully carried out. So what comes next? The
- 1:10:27prosecutors have 30 days to respond to the petition.
- 1:10:29Then the court will hear initial arguments from
- 1:10:32both sides. At that point, the judge would decide
- 1:10:35whether or not to move forward. I mean, if you're
- 1:10:38the prosecution, what is your argument? He pled
- 1:10:42guilty. I rest my case. I mean, yes, I sort of
- 1:10:45was sure we have exhibit a he signed the paper
- 1:10:47and he was guilty is like so are like, are we
- 1:10:50doing this or what? No, it's interesting this
- 1:10:52the when I because I sort of like try to do a
- 1:10:56dive on this to try to figure out like, well,
- 1:10:57OK, so what was the case exactly? And I mean,
- 1:10:59I know we pleaded guilty, but what did they have
- 1:11:02as far as evidence that they said that they had?
- 1:11:04And it was it was actually kind of weaker than
- 1:11:06I expected. And now this is just the the. evidence
- 1:11:09that the public knows about, which doesn't really
- 1:11:11mean a lot, you know, but like, oh, the strongest
- 1:11:14piece of physical evidence they had was the sheath
- 1:11:17of the knife was like on the nightstand, like
- 1:11:20next to one of the victims. Like he left the
- 1:11:22sheath of the knife just there on the nightstand.
- 1:11:24Meanwhile, this was supposed to be like this
- 1:11:26meticulously planned crime, but he was a criminology
- 1:11:29major, I believe. and was like thought he was
- 1:11:32smarter than this is at least what the narrative
- 1:11:34is that he thought he was smarter than everybody
- 1:11:36and that he was going to commit this perfect
- 1:11:38crime meanwhile he left the sheath of the knife
- 1:11:40on a nightstand and then the rest of it was just
- 1:11:42really circumstantial and corroborative oh we
- 1:11:44have you on the security cameras in your car
- 1:11:46you're here now you're leaving you're leaving
- 1:11:48at a high rate of speed everything it's consistent
- 1:11:51with disposing of evidence the rest of it was
- 1:11:53pretty weak if driving fast is how they get you
- 1:11:56for a crime then i've committed all of them well
- 1:11:58you have that's why you keep going to court oh
- 1:12:01yeah good for you paul michael banducci here's
- 1:12:04one more here's one more clip from uh from crim
- 1:12:07man i haven't heard it set out like that since
- 1:12:09my mom passed like two years ago yeah when you're
- 1:12:11in trouble yeah Yeah, so here's I will do one
- 1:12:15more because this sort of I think outlines in
- 1:12:17a little bit more detail is I got to say this
- 1:12:21about the about the legal system and the process
- 1:12:23as a whole everything about it is counterintuitive
- 1:12:25So if you've never been through the system in
- 1:12:28any real way Especially the criminal side of
- 1:12:31the system civil is one thing and civil sucks
- 1:12:32But criminals a whole nother animal and if you
- 1:12:35if you really don't have any experience with
- 1:12:37it Everything you think, you know is for the
- 1:12:41most part wrong, or at least mostly wrong. It's
- 1:12:44a very counterintuitive process and a very counterintuitive
- 1:12:47system. And take common sense and just light
- 1:12:51it on fire and hold a funeral for it. It doesn't
- 1:12:54exist in this system. Everything you think would
- 1:12:57work or make sense or matter does not. So it's
- 1:13:02so easy to ask a lot of these questions or make
- 1:13:05a lot of these conjectures. And I'm not coming
- 1:13:07down on one side or the other of this. Obviously
- 1:13:09I mean like if the It's a horrible thing that
- 1:13:11happened, and if the guy did do it, which it
- 1:13:14looks like he probably did, then I hope he gets
- 1:13:17a bullet. But the system itself is so counterintuitive.
- 1:13:22There's more questions than answers. Even when
- 1:13:24you're the one going through it, there's more
- 1:13:26questions than answers. So this is one of those,
- 1:13:27like, how many licks does it take to get to the
- 1:13:29center of a Tootsie Pop? We will never know.
- 1:13:31One, a two, a three. That's it. You know, I'm
- 1:13:35not even forget this second clip. I'm not even
- 1:13:37going to play it. I mean, it's it's. And I don't
- 1:13:38mean to nip this in the bud for you, but I'm
- 1:13:40going to save us some time because like none
- 1:13:42of this will make any sense to anybody. Yeah.
- 1:13:44And it already doesn't. I'm not. Nothing about
- 1:13:46it makes sense. Like, well, you can. I said I
- 1:13:48did it. Well, no, J .K. And we're just going
- 1:13:50to pretend that whole thing never happened. And
- 1:13:52now they're having a procedure about the procedure
- 1:13:54so they can have the procedure. I mean, of course,
- 1:13:56all of this is at our expense. Like a pre a pretrial
- 1:13:59pretrial pre hearing. Well, it reminds me of
- 1:14:02George Carlin's bit about the overuse of the
- 1:14:04prefix pre. You know, one of the best parts of
- 1:14:07AI taking over everybody's jobs in the next 10
- 1:14:09to 20 years, we won't have to pay the fucking
- 1:14:11lawyers to spend all this time on this shit as
- 1:14:13much anymore. Like that's a job that's going
- 1:14:15to go away in 30 years or less, probably more
- 1:14:17like 20 years or less. And I couldn't be happier
- 1:14:19about it. It's weird. And it's you know, he's
- 1:14:23got of course, he's got groupies. He was the
- 1:14:25last thing I'll say before we move on to something
- 1:14:27a little more lighthearted here. When I was pulling
- 1:14:30clips and looking at some of the like the YouTube
- 1:14:32videos from once these clips came, a lot of comments
- 1:14:35from people being like, no, he's innocent. He
- 1:14:37didn't do it. Read the documents. He didn't do
- 1:14:38it. Read the documents. So his groupies are out
- 1:14:41there on the Internet proclaiming his innocence.
- 1:14:45Which is I mean, it's this is an interesting
- 1:14:47aside, but I suppose if you ever give much brain
- 1:14:49power to I don't because frankly, it's stuff
- 1:14:52I just don't want in my heart or my head, but
- 1:14:54like the Manson stuff, the Charles Manson type
- 1:14:57stuff. And you wonder how the hell can stuff
- 1:15:00like that happen? And yet here we are in 2026.
- 1:15:02And if this Kopenberger guy was out and free
- 1:15:07here, you know, we have another Manson on our
- 1:15:10hands and people who willingly will go out into
- 1:15:12the high Sierra Nevada desert and follow him
- 1:15:14out there and then come into town and kill four
- 1:15:16people in Moscow. Well, and there's Maybe you
- 1:15:19don't want it in your heart or your head. But
- 1:15:21the book Chaos, which outlines what actually
- 1:15:25really happened with Manson and the whole Manson
- 1:15:27family, that might have had a little bit to do
- 1:15:30with MKUltra. Yeah, I'm familiar with. Well,
- 1:15:34but so you could argue so you could make you
- 1:15:36could make the same or similar argument as you
- 1:15:38could with. how young people are engineered now.
- 1:15:41Well, no, they don't do that anymore. Well, we
- 1:15:44do. We did do it. We did. But we're the good
- 1:15:46guys. Good. We have a couple more. Paul's got
- 1:15:49to get out of here. But a couple more. This one
- 1:15:51is, if you recall, I don't know, a few months
- 1:15:53ago, we did a Hey, it's coming soon. The flying
- 1:15:56pickle. the indoor pickleball court for Post
- 1:15:58Falls. Well, it's officially open. They had their
- 1:16:00grand opening. And I would like you to hear a
- 1:16:02couple of the statistics they throw at us here
- 1:16:04as as former business owners, as former retail
- 1:16:07hospitality establishment operators. Listen to
- 1:16:09some of these numbers. The first number I want
- 1:16:11to know is how many Achilles tendon ruptures
- 1:16:13have occurred since the opening. No, fun fact,
- 1:16:16like half of the Achilles ruptures that occur
- 1:16:19in the last 10 years. Pickleball. Is that right?
- 1:16:21Yeah. I love pickleball. Well, he seems excited
- 1:16:27right there. Today was Christmas in July for
- 1:16:29pickleball fans. That was the theme for the grand
- 1:16:32opening of the new post fall. I'm 80 % that this
- 1:16:34is a native ad, by the way, but who knows? That
- 1:16:37was the theme for the grand opening of the new
- 1:16:39Post Falls location of the Flying Pickle. You
- 1:16:42cannot make up these names. It brings 24 new
- 1:16:45courts to Post Falls in a $5 million, $85 ,000
- 1:16:49square foot facility. They offer memberships,
- 1:16:51drop -in games, and pickleball lessons. And especially
- 1:16:55for brand new players, you can come and we have
- 1:16:59pros on staff that will teach you and help. I
- 1:17:02hope you learn this game. So what do you do for
- 1:17:05a living? I'm a professional pickleball player.
- 1:17:08Oh, okay. So you're not good at a lot of stuff.
- 1:17:11I'm, uh, I'm on staff. I'm a house pro. There
- 1:17:13is a, uh, this is a sketch by one of my favorite
- 1:17:15comedians from back in the day. We're talking
- 1:17:16like the 2010s, Demetri Martin. You ever heard?
- 1:17:19Yeah. Sure. Have you like, yeah. So, you know,
- 1:17:20he's like one time I struck up a conversation
- 1:17:22with the guy and the guy was like, yeah, I'm,
- 1:17:24I'm really good at checkers, checkers. I love
- 1:17:25checkers. I'm really good at checkers. And Demetri's
- 1:17:27like, yeah, that's wow. That's great. Like, It's
- 1:17:30telling somebody you're good at checkers is basically
- 1:17:32saying I'm not good at a lot of things. More
- 1:17:34than 8000 people showed up to the grand opening
- 1:17:36today. The flying pickle opens at five on weekdays
- 1:17:39and six on weekends. Now this is where you start
- 1:17:41to get into the native ad territory. They start
- 1:17:43like where can you find this facility? Fran,
- 1:17:45we need you to read the hours. We need you to
- 1:17:48say the address opens at five on weekdays and
- 1:17:51six on weekends. It closes at 9 PM on Sundays
- 1:17:54and 10 the rest of the week, meaning you will
- 1:17:56have plenty of time and plenty of hours to check
- 1:17:59it all out. Where do I sign? Was just blown away
- 1:18:03by the so let me just with your feet and my knees.
- 1:18:07We are a shoe it we're gonna love this place
- 1:18:09broken the Notion of the of the five now, obviously,
- 1:18:14we don't know anything about the books of this
- 1:18:16place We do not know anything about the financing
- 1:18:18of how this place was built or the money how
- 1:18:20the money was generated to you know investors
- 1:18:22versus Borrowing from a bank. We don't know any
- 1:18:24of that only ownership knows that but as As people
- 1:18:27who have built out spaces for retail hospitality,
- 1:18:31just the debt service on $5 million for a build
- 1:18:35out, how much monthly, in other words, how much
- 1:18:37gross sales you have to generate just to cover
- 1:18:40your debt service on a $5 million build out is
- 1:18:43a lot of gross sales. I was thinking of the property
- 1:18:45taxes too. Your property taxes alone are gonna
- 1:18:47murder you. Where are they, I guess. where are
- 1:18:51they going to get their income? Well, I mean,
- 1:18:53that sounds like a stupid question, but it's
- 1:18:54not because it's like, okay, you, you can only
- 1:18:56rent so much space at a certain rate and then
- 1:19:00you're full. So I get, and you can only sell
- 1:19:03so much in the way of concessions to a bunch
- 1:19:05of people who are super health conscious and
- 1:19:07who are going to bring their own shit anyways.
- 1:19:09And the little coffee lounge that they were bragging
- 1:19:11about earlier, I guess. I mean, how much hanging
- 1:19:15out in the coffee lounge, watching, watching
- 1:19:17other people play pickleball. I mean, I guess
- 1:19:19you never know, right? Crazy. I mean, the pet
- 1:19:21rock sold millions. So I guess you never know
- 1:19:24what people will pay for. But that was a much
- 1:19:26smarter model. That was a very low overhead.
- 1:19:28You have a big, big nut to crack. Huge. I see
- 1:19:33you having a lot of challenges cracking that
- 1:19:35nut. I mean, I wouldn't be, maybe 200 ,000 a
- 1:19:38month in gross sales. I don't know what the number
- 1:19:40is, but you have to generate a lot of sales.
- 1:19:42You're counting on something that at the moment
- 1:19:44is in fashion. You're counting on it staying
- 1:19:46in fashion for a while. You've got to have a
- 1:19:50long enough runway to crack that nut. It's an
- 1:19:53ongoing burn rate, so you better hope it stays
- 1:19:57popular forever. Yeah. Well, and the worst part
- 1:20:00is, is it's not like if things go bad, you can't
- 1:20:02convert it into a basketball court because if
- 1:20:04you do, you'll just make even less money because
- 1:20:07everybody knows basketball player, basketball,
- 1:20:08Americans don't spend money or live in North
- 1:20:11Idaho. Yeah. Well, I don't, I mean, I wish them
- 1:20:14a lot. I play basketball, so I'm allowed to make
- 1:20:16those jokes. Yeah. And he had dreadlocks. So,
- 1:20:18oh, and that's right. I don't know the North
- 1:20:20Idaho NAACP guy. He doesn't look so happy over
- 1:20:23there. That's too bad. I can appropriate whatever
- 1:20:25culture I want. I like basketball. Show some
- 1:20:28respect. We have one more. Yeah, we got time
- 1:20:32for one more. OK, let's do one more. The Idaho
- 1:20:35budget. Idaho's water resource bill meets later
- 1:20:37today as George. What was that? Sorry, sorry,
- 1:20:40sorry. It was me playing two things at the same
- 1:20:41time. OK, actually, that was kind of that was
- 1:20:43kind of a spicy little intro. I like it. I can
- 1:20:45unmute everything all at once. Let's see what
- 1:20:47that sounds like here. Oh, actually, that reminds
- 1:20:51me of that time when all of the mainstream media
- 1:20:53outlets told us the same thing for Covid. Remember
- 1:20:55the supercut of that? I do and I think it sounds
- 1:20:59and remember citizen hold still while we extremely
- 1:21:02dangerous to our democracy This is extremely
- 1:21:04dangerous to our democracy. This is extremely
- 1:21:07dangerous to our democracy that one. Yeah All
- 1:21:11right. This is Idaho budget and hey, guess what
- 1:21:13good news? Idaho ended its fiscal year in the
- 1:21:19black after some significant early on we get
- 1:21:23a refund James Dawson with more That's hilarious.
- 1:21:25What did you just ask for my for my money? This
- 1:21:28is this is from NPR, by the way, in case you
- 1:21:30couldn't tell from that intro. Here's James Dawson
- 1:21:32with more for fiscal year 2026. The state took
- 1:21:36in nearly five point seven billion dollars in
- 1:21:39taxes. Wow. That's down one hundred and fifty
- 1:21:41four million from last year's receipts down.
- 1:21:44So it's down a rounding error. He's correct.
- 1:21:48Hold on. What's one hundred and fifty four million?
- 1:21:52For fiscal year 2026, the state took in nearly
- 1:21:55$5 .7 billion in taxes. $5 .7 billion. $154 million
- 1:22:00into $5 .7 billion. 2 .7 % less. Whee. But that's
- 1:22:06probably why so many people have died. I mean,
- 1:22:09these cuts are killing people. That's down $154
- 1:22:13million from last year's receipts. State lawmakers
- 1:22:16hacked off 4 % from the budget to stave off a
- 1:22:19projected deficit. Yeah, violently with a machete
- 1:22:22dude. I'm telling you what if I ever get into
- 1:22:24the legislature I never will but if I ever work
- 1:22:26near government, I'm gonna I'm gonna post a meme
- 1:22:29of myself like Mel Gibson But with a hacksaw
- 1:22:32Lord make me fast and accurate That's down a
- 1:22:35hundred and fifty four million from last year's
- 1:22:37receipts State lawmakers hacked off four percent
- 1:22:40from the budget to stave off a project like an
- 1:22:42amputation Which largely fell on Idaho's colleges
- 1:22:45and universities? Oh, no. No are permanent Oh,
- 1:22:49no! Is this soundboard material? These cuts are
- 1:22:52permanent. Yes. These cuts are permanent, despite
- 1:22:55the fact that... I mean, these cuts are killing
- 1:22:58people. These cuts are permanent, but the legislature
- 1:23:01approving 5 % budget reductions for the current
- 1:23:04fiscal year. Personal income tax collections
- 1:23:07were more than $140 million below expectations.
- 1:23:10Stop it. I can only get so erect. Sales tax receipts
- 1:23:14fell slightly. But corporate income tax blasted
- 1:23:17past expectations at sixty five percent. Despite
- 1:23:20the cuts, Governor Brad Little's office says
- 1:23:23the state is transferring two hundred and fifty
- 1:23:25million dollars to the general fund in unspent
- 1:23:28money and routine reconciliation moves. So we're
- 1:23:31just going to move this over here. Like, hey,
- 1:23:35can I have that? No, don't touch. It's ours now.
- 1:23:41Next year's budget is how how nonchalant they
- 1:23:44are be like, but Brad little's department the
- 1:23:46government whatever it says they're just gonna
- 1:23:48Boop just put this over here bring 250. What
- 1:23:51did it say? Let's say governor Brad little's
- 1:23:54office says the state is transferring 250 million
- 1:23:57dollars to the general fund which just just so
- 1:23:59we're tracking here 154 million in cuts, which
- 1:24:02was 2 .7 percent was killing people killing Brad
- 1:24:05little transferring two and a half 250 million,
- 1:24:09which is like 4 % change. In fact, I think they
- 1:24:11even said 4 % change. Everybody just goes, eh.
- 1:24:17$250 million to the general fund in unspent money
- 1:24:20and routine reconciliation moves. Next year's
- 1:24:24budget is also expected. Reconciliation. I love
- 1:24:26it when they use words like that for routine
- 1:24:29reconciliation. You've never met an accounting
- 1:24:31team as creative as a government accounting team.
- 1:24:35We're reconciling it. Oh, yeah, that's what you're
- 1:24:38doing. Next year's budget is also expected to
- 1:24:42be tight, with Little's budget director telling
- 1:24:44state agencies not to ask for more than they
- 1:24:47got this year. James Dawson, Boise State Public
- 1:24:50Radio News. That's so great. It's like, we're
- 1:24:52really got to tighten our belts, guys. So you're
- 1:24:55just going to get the same amount. As they as
- 1:25:00they're moving 250 million over It's like the
- 1:25:04great depression where you're gonna use a ropes
- 1:25:06instead of belts dirt floors dude munching through
- 1:25:09his food is he's like The rest of you you're
- 1:25:13gonna have to make do with what you got Times
- 1:25:15are really tough. The kitchen staff is sick.
- 1:25:18We're gonna Love it. There's not a there's not
- 1:25:23enough to go around if only there were We're
- 1:25:26going to have to make steep cuts. Give me that.
- 1:25:31But please, sir, may I have some more? No, no.
- 1:25:35OK, well, there you go. Episode 39 of No I .D.
- 1:25:39in the books. This program, episode 39, is officially
