- 0:00Speaker 1: Things that must go on the radio. Well, perhaps things
- 0:09Speaker 1: that must go could be brought to you by paytion,
- 0:12Speaker 1: but it's not things that must go. These are things
- 0:15Speaker 1: that you just can't stand in your life anymore. You
- 0:18Speaker 1: have to get rid of them, somehow, get it off
- 0:21Speaker 1: your chest. So when you stumble across these things, you go, oh, man,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I know what I'll do. I'll send it to Radio
- 0:28Speaker 1: from Hell and maybe if they read it on the air,
- 0:30Speaker 1: it'll make me feel better. And sometimes these things actually
- 0:33Speaker 1: do mysteriously disappear from people's lives. So if you have
- 0:38Speaker 1: a thing that must go, put it in an email,
- 0:40Speaker 1: send it to Radio from Hell at X ninety six
- 0:42Speaker 1: dot com. Make sure you put Musco on the subject line,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and we'll try to get to it. Gina.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see this from Liz. People who tailgate thinking
- 0:54Speaker 2: it will make the person in front of them go faster.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I purposefully slow down when people do that. Really, Yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 2: you bet you go around me. Yeah. I got a
- 1:09Speaker 2: couple from teachers. This first one. Please don't use my name.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I'm a teacher. And at our final faculty meeting today,
- 1:17Speaker 2: we were given these bleeding control bags that contain tourniquets
- 1:21Speaker 2: emergency trauma dressings and various other trauma items. We were
- 1:26Speaker 2: told that every classroom in the state is required to
- 1:29Speaker 2: have one. We have to put them in a cupboard
- 1:31Speaker 2: with a big red sticker on the outside, so when
- 1:33Speaker 2: the paramedics arrived, they'll know where the extra supplies are.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I may or may not have made my sticker into
- 1:39Speaker 2: a bull's eye. Please make the necessity of this in
- 1:42Speaker 2: my classroom go away. Thank you for letting me listen.
- 1:46Speaker 3: That's just mind blowing.
- 1:49Speaker 2: This from another teacher. I'm a junior high teacher, and
- 1:53Speaker 2: this is my list of things that must go in
- 1:55Speaker 2: junior high. Teenagers playing dumb when they get caught doing
- 1:59Speaker 2: something that's against the it's not cute, it's not convincing.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You're still getting in trouble. Kids asking to use the
- 2:05Speaker 2: hall pass every five minutes, so that for an hour
- 2:08Speaker 2: and a half, the hall pass is perpetually being used
- 2:10Speaker 2: by kids who don't need to go to the bathroom. Vaping.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It's so sad to watch these young kids get into
- 2:16Speaker 2: substances so early. It's terrible where your mind and body.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's terrible for your mind and body. Don't do it.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Listening to other teachers complain about how hard it is
- 2:25Speaker 2: to manage particular students. We all know that teaching is difficult,
- 2:28Speaker 2: and singling out certain students doesn't make it any easier
- 2:31Speaker 2: for you, and most certainly doesn't make it easier for
- 2:33Speaker 2: that student. Not being able to go to the bathroom
- 2:36Speaker 2: when I need to, I wish I got a hall pass. Hey,
- 2:39Speaker 2: temperature control systems. It's hot in the spring, summer, it's
- 2:42Speaker 2: freezing cold winter and fall. We have zero control over
- 2:45Speaker 2: the temperature in our own building. Just give us the
- 2:47Speaker 2: damn thermostat. That's the same problem we have here. Let's see.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Luckily there are only a few days left in the
- 2:53Speaker 2: school year, but can you please make these things go
- 2:56Speaker 2: either way? Thanks a very worn out.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Teacher, Garry.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Well, let's see, the aggressive wildlife must go aggressive wild
- 3:05Speaker 3: What's happened iscifically my squirrels, which I have, you know,
- 3:10Speaker 3: lived in harmony with for years. It was a Saturday
- 3:14Speaker 3: morning and I'm downstairs in my studio doing a little
- 3:18Speaker 3: prep before Geek show, and I suddenly hear Sue screaming upstairs.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Something is trying to get into the house, and so
- 3:30Speaker 3: I go rushing up to the kitchen and we have
- 3:33Speaker 3: dog doors, and this has never been a problem. We've
- 3:37Speaker 3: had dog doors as long as we've lived there. And
- 3:40Speaker 3: the squirrel was platting at the doggy door.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Smart squirrel, Smart squirrel.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And so I went up and I, you know, clapped
- 3:48Speaker 3: at it to stare it away, and it ran down
- 3:51Speaker 3: the sidewalk a bit, but then it came right back
- 3:55Speaker 3: and decided it was going to try again, so I
- 3:57Speaker 3: had to open the door and go out and away. Yeah,
- 4:01Speaker 3: so aggressive jerk square girls. And it's the little skinny one.
- 4:05Speaker 3: It's not the fat one.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I got two of them in the yard.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Anyway. Let's see this one from longtime fop Margie. Here's
- 4:13Speaker 3: my list of things that must go. Newer models of
- 4:16Speaker 3: cars that have the rear turn signals down on the
- 4:19Speaker 3: bumper rather than having them higher where the brake light is.
- 4:24Speaker 3: The signal on the bumper is too low for my
- 4:26Speaker 3: line of sight. Car makers, please end this trend. I agree,
- 4:30Speaker 3: I've just started noticing that.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I haven't seen that. Really, I don't think.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Manual car washes that don't have a loud audible alert
- 4:37Speaker 3: that let you know your time is almost up. Now
- 4:40Speaker 3: I have to use eight more quarters just to rinse
- 4:43Speaker 3: a little bit of soap off of my car. Please
- 4:45Speaker 3: turn up the volume on the timer. And finally, I
- 4:48Speaker 3: will say this until it stops. No dogs in the
- 4:51Speaker 3: back of trucks.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Thank you for letting me listen.
- 4:55Speaker 3: This one from Heartbroken Headshrinker Heather in Bone Dry Bountiful
- 4:59Speaker 3: Things a must go, the soul crushing grief resting heavily
- 5:03Speaker 3: on my neck and shoulders since the data center was approved.
- 5:07Speaker 3: On that note, Governor Cox asking the state to pray
- 5:09Speaker 3: for rain must go. Faith without works is dead, Spencer,
- 5:14Speaker 3: we can't pray your mistakes away till the bitter end.
- 5:18Speaker 3: And finally, this one from Tony Things that must go.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Not getting pool time on Memorial Day. That's because my
- 5:25Speaker 3: barbecue host would have rather watched a Woody Allen movie
- 5:29Speaker 3: instead of taking a cool dip. Okay, being in last
- 5:34Speaker 3: place at Trivia Night because the theme is trashy Reality
- 5:38Speaker 3: TV shows must go. I need Victoria from your Real
- 5:41Speaker 3: Housewives update to explain to everyone why it's an insult
- 5:45Speaker 3: to tell someone that they smell like hospital. Thank you
- 5:49Speaker 3: for letting me listen.
- 5:51Speaker 1: All right, this one, let's see This one says you
- 5:54Speaker 1: can use my name neighbors that don't take care of
- 5:59Speaker 1: the weeds, the rocks, and the trash on that strip
- 6:04Speaker 1: of land on their property between our driveways. They become
- 6:08Speaker 1: upset when I did it. I thought that I was
- 6:11Speaker 1: doing them a favor and giving them free yard care.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I guess not. And health insurance, there are just too
- 6:19Speaker 1: many reasons for the bet it must go, but they're
- 6:23Speaker 1: always looking for a way to deny coverage. Yes, I
- 6:28Speaker 1: did finally win coverage, but I needed to appeal their
- 6:33Speaker 1: rejection of coverage, their inter Their initial reason for not
- 6:39Speaker 1: covering it was because the treatment I needed was outside
- 6:43Speaker 1: of the state of Utah. But if that's where the treatment,
- 6:48Speaker 1: if that's where the treatment, Yeah, and then finally, Parkinson's
- 6:52Speaker 1: disease must go. Doctor Mike friend, doctor uh, let's see.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Good morning lords, you can use my name. My eight
- 6:59Speaker 1: year old daughter was fighting with my ten year old
- 7:01Speaker 1: son and my eight year old yeld. At least I
- 7:05Speaker 1: wasn't an accident. My wife then chimed in and said,
- 7:10Speaker 1: stop fighting. You were all accidents. Why what Musco is
- 7:17Speaker 1: making my two year old daughter cry because they were fighting.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Number two, washing your car and getting it all nice
- 7:25Speaker 1: and sexy clean, And then what happens the next day rain.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And finally, when you have a movie or an actor
- 7:33Speaker 1: on the tip of your tongue and you can't think
- 7:35Speaker 1: of the name or the movie or the actor to
- 7:38Speaker 1: save your life. And then like three weeks later, you're
- 7:42Speaker 1: all sitting there and Aready go tombstone.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It was tombstone, That's what It just pops into your head.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Thank you, Lords, Max Power you. Oh, I have one
- 7:55Speaker 1: other short one here se TV news chefs who cannot
- 7:59Speaker 1: pronounce Worcestershire. Really, if you're going to teach people to cook,
- 8:05Speaker 1: at least learn how to pronounce the ingredients. It's not Worcestershire.
- 8:10Speaker 1: It's Worcestershire. Thank you. You guys are awesome, all right,
- 8:15Speaker 1: thinks that must go on the radio, The Pas Show.
