- 0:13Speaker 3: We're not talking about rind and tea, and we're not.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Talking about last year.
- 0:16Speaker 4: It's the one and only does the.
- 0:17Speaker 5: Last last big snoop eagle double jiggle in your face
- 0:20Speaker 5: to me and in the place to be And you're
- 0:22Speaker 5: listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Hey, a couple of text messages I want to get into.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You can text us, you text jj R whatever you
- 0:30Speaker 2: want to say. Remember we were talking about creative insults.
- 0:36Speaker 2: These are good. These are creative insults when it comes
- 0:40Speaker 2: to thinking. You travel light. Here's another one. Your daughters
- 0:46Speaker 2: are so beautiful. Their dad must be very good looking. Oh.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I love how you don't let facts get in the
- 0:54Speaker 2: way of your thought process. I don't know if that's
- 1:00Speaker 2: an insult or they're actually texting us to the show
- 1:03Speaker 2: insulting us. Mate, Yeah, it fits, it fits. So Kyle says,
- 1:09Speaker 2: everyone has that one thing that they can't explain. I
- 1:13Speaker 2: think you need to explain.
- 1:15Speaker 6: I've been going through this like I need to organize everything.
- 1:19Speaker 6: I open drawers and there's just crap everywhere. It's like clutter,
- 1:24Speaker 6: and it's it's making me stressed out. So I've started
- 1:28Speaker 6: to slowly but surely reorganize every little drawer and area
- 1:32Speaker 6: in my house. And I'm hoping everyone has something in
- 1:37Speaker 6: their house. They can't explain you to that or I'm
- 1:39Speaker 6: just like a wicked hoarder. But like, I open up
- 1:43Speaker 6: this one closet and there are like five boxes, like
- 1:48Speaker 6: moving boxes. We've lived in our house for six years.
- 1:52Speaker 6: We haven't opened these boxes. I can't explain why I
- 1:54Speaker 6: still have them. I know what's in them. It's my
- 1:56Speaker 6: grandma's china, but I can't get rid of it, right,
- 1:59Speaker 6: But I can't plain why I still have the moving boxes, Like, open.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Them up and put him somewhere, like put the china.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Somewhere, put him somewhere, right, Like, obviously I'm not gonna
- 2:08Speaker 6: throw them away, so why keep them in the boxes?
- 2:10Speaker 6: Like I just don't understand. And then I'm like, Okay,
- 2:13Speaker 6: I hope it is not the only one that has
- 2:15Speaker 6: something in their house. They couldn't Like if you came
- 2:18Speaker 6: into my house, you'd be like moving boxes. No, No,
- 2:20Speaker 6: I'm not moving they're just there. Well, you're gonna unload.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Up, so they're not like in a closet. You walk
- 2:25Speaker 2: in your house, you got three movies.
- 2:26Speaker 6: They're in a closet, But if you open said closet
- 2:29Speaker 6: you would see No, it's five five giant moving boxes,
- 2:33Speaker 6: but Dilay not on the display. They are in a closet,
- 2:37Speaker 6: but I have no intention of unboxing them.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Oh no, who doesn't have that, Rich because he throws
- 2:42Speaker 2: everything around.
- 2:43Speaker 7: No.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I know, I feel like this might be falling on
- 2:45Speaker 6: dead ears with.
- 2:46Speaker 8: Rich because my wife has so many things being shipped
- 2:50Speaker 8: to the house that she doesn't remember ordering the show
- 2:53Speaker 8: up sometimes and I don't know if it's for like
- 2:55Speaker 8: a Miss Arizona pageant thing. I don't know if it's
- 2:58Speaker 8: so you know how you do unboxing videos. I think
- 3:00Speaker 8: I'm gonna start doing boxing videos. I'm going to look
- 3:02Speaker 8: for stuff at my house. Here's a base, I don't
- 3:04Speaker 8: know what it is. It's a purple bace. I'm going
- 3:06Speaker 8: to put it in the box.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I like that.
- 3:08Speaker 8: Well.
- 3:08Speaker 6: I did think about you, John Jay, because if someone
- 3:10Speaker 6: walked into your house and saw the giant tigers that
- 3:12Speaker 6: you got, you inherited, but you didn't I know, I
- 3:17Speaker 6: wanted them for the birthday party, but never gave them
- 3:19Speaker 6: to me.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Blake and I were somewhere and there was a giant tiger.
- 3:22Speaker 2: She goes, remember when we had this tiger? Yeah, where
- 3:24Speaker 2: is it? Where are those? She goes, We gave them
- 3:25Speaker 2: the cow for her circus party. No, that's what she said. No,
- 3:30Speaker 2: Kyle would still Blake's mom died. She inherited these actual
- 3:36Speaker 2: sized plastic tigers life. I thought, along with the giant,
- 3:42Speaker 2: the giant, those are real giant giant.
- 3:46Speaker 9: I thought, I'm not alone.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I know at least John Jay's got a few things.
- 3:49Speaker 10: We have, like a two hundred and fifty pound porcelain
- 3:53Speaker 10: Christmas tree outside of our front door, but we can't
- 3:56Speaker 10: move it. That's why he just stays there a year round.
- 3:59Speaker 10: I'm shocked you I didn't see that. Our reception is wrong,
- 4:01Speaker 10: not that it is heavy. You're like, so, can't explain
- 4:07Speaker 10: why we have it, but.
- 4:09Speaker 8: You put lights on it or no, it just it
- 4:11Speaker 8: stands by itself and you can only.
- 4:12Speaker 9: See the sands by itself.
- 4:13Speaker 10: It's probably five ft tall, and it's porcelain, it is glass,
- 4:17Speaker 10: and it lights up.
- 4:18Speaker 6: I think I'm surprised there hasn't been like a storm
- 4:20Speaker 6: like a really bad hailstorm taking it.
- 4:22Speaker 10: It's kind of like underneath, like its protected. It's protected.
- 4:27Speaker 8: I think what I'm hearing. It's like a show yard sale.
- 4:29Speaker 8: We could do it in the parking lot, bringing all
- 4:31Speaker 8: the health.
- 4:32Speaker 2: You can't you can't move that tree. You can't move
- 4:34Speaker 2: the giant clams that I have.
- 4:36Speaker 11: We need.
- 4:36Speaker 8: We're gonna need a crest with the crane to get
- 4:39Speaker 8: it all.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Here for a thrift shop day, you know, seeking a
- 4:42Speaker 2: paint and paint I'm so interested in this. Okay, your
- 4:45Speaker 2: birthday was twelve days ago, and somehow you're still celebrating
- 4:48Speaker 2: doing stuff right because you said you bought your own
- 4:51Speaker 2: birthday cake.
- 4:52Speaker 9: Yeah, how embarrassing.
- 4:53Speaker 2: But your birthday was a week ago.
- 4:55Speaker 10: Yeah, well it's Leo season, so you know it's my
- 4:58Speaker 10: birth month, or at least Leo season's over.
- 5:01Speaker 9: But yeah, on like a couple of weekends. What was
- 5:03Speaker 9: it last weekend? I just had a.
- 5:05Speaker 10: Game night with like all my friends and a couple
- 5:06Speaker 10: of my family were there. And a life hack, by
- 5:09Speaker 10: the way, if you're gonna have a party and have
- 5:10Speaker 10: people over, get your pizza at Costco. I got four
- 5:13Speaker 10: big boxes of the pizza for forty dollars at Costco.
- 5:16Speaker 2: This was for your birthday a week after your birthday.
- 5:18Speaker 10: Yeah, I threw myself my own birthday party, and I
- 5:23Speaker 10: bought my own birthday cake. And when I bought it,
- 5:25Speaker 10: I literally asked the guy out bashes, I said, is
- 5:27Speaker 10: it sad to buy your own birthday cake? He said,
- 5:30Speaker 10: are you buying your own birthday cake? I said, yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 10: he's like, happy birthday. You didn't tell me anything if
- 5:35Speaker 10: it was sad.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Wait, Wally, the birthday you had was a week before.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Are you telling me you didn't have a birthday cake.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Then you didn't have one birthday cake when you celebrate
- 5:42Speaker 2: with your family and you had your cousin's.
- 5:44Speaker 9: Over, she made me a birthday cake cause it was banana.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I don't like banana, but you still had a birthday cake.
- 5:49Speaker 2: So officially, on your birthday, you were given a birthday cake.
- 5:52Speaker 2: So now ten days later, you're at the grocery store
- 5:55Speaker 2: buying yourself a birthday cake. It's not sad because you're
- 5:58Speaker 2: buying you don't you could just buy cake?
- 6:00Speaker 10: Well, to make the story, said, I actually didn't get
- 6:02Speaker 10: a birthday cake on my actual birthday, which is why
- 6:05Speaker 10: I threw myself a birthday party.
- 6:07Speaker 9: Because I was like, I will be celebrated.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You have to put the icing Happy birthday Peyton on there.
- 6:11Speaker 10: I have them put happy twenty eighth bird.
- 6:15Speaker 2: That's a ball right now. That should have but you
- 6:17Speaker 2: want to go viral. That should have been a viral
- 6:19Speaker 2: Instagram post birthday cake? Na me a banana cake. I
- 6:23Speaker 2: don't like bananas.
- 6:25Speaker 9: I don't like banana, she said, I had the bananas.
- 6:27Speaker 9: We're gonna go bad, so iry to make the banana.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Don't put a banana up your butt. Don't put banana.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Oh God again, that songs in my head. I'll twenty
- 6:34Speaker 2: four seven, twenty four seven.
- 6:36Speaker 12: Don't put bananas in my butt. No, don't put bananas
- 6:39Speaker 12: in my butt. I've told you.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Several times before.
- 6:43Speaker 2: My blood is not a banana. Don't put bananas a
- 6:47Speaker 2: Peyton's birthday cake. You have a picture that birthday cake Peyton.
- 6:50Speaker 9: Oh, I'm sure I do.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Do you really?
- 6:52Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 6:52Speaker 9: I'm sure.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Oh, that'd be great that you put it up on
- 6:54Speaker 2: our Instagram. John Jay and Rich on Instagram. Up, this
- 7:01Speaker 2: is John Jay and Rich.
- 7:03Speaker 9: You guys, it's National Couples Days.
- 7:04Speaker 10: So I'm gonna tell you the energy that your zodiac
- 7:07Speaker 10: signs brings to your relationship. If it's your birthday today,
- 7:10Speaker 10: we are still in Leo season, so you are Leo
- 7:13Speaker 10: and you share a birthday with Claro, Patrick Swayze, Maya Mitchell,
- 7:17Speaker 10: and Kate Olsen.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Amber, good morning.
- 7:20Speaker 13: Good morning Gemini.
- 7:22Speaker 10: Okay, geminis the energy that you bring to your relationship.
- 7:25Speaker 10: You need constant entertainment. So if your partner can't match
- 7:29Speaker 10: your fast talking banter and send you like fifty unhinged
- 7:32Speaker 10: tiktoks to day, you're gonna get bored and you're gonna
- 7:34Speaker 10: start drama in the group chat with your friends instead.
- 7:36Speaker 14: Oh I will be doing that.
- 7:38Speaker 8: Yeah, thanks, Amber, have a great day you too.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Francesca, good morning. What's your sign Aquarius?
- 7:49Speaker 6: Please?
- 7:50Speaker 10: Okay, so for my Aquarius for National Couple's Day, you
- 7:53Speaker 10: are the untraditional partner who kind of rejects that cheesy romance.
- 7:57Speaker 10: You'll celebrate by sharing kind of like inside jokes, are
- 8:01Speaker 10: talking about conspiracy theories and being like best friends.
- 8:05Speaker 11: Totally.
- 8:06Speaker 15: Yeah that's so funny.
- 8:08Speaker 8: Yes, that is right now too, Thanks Francesco.
- 8:11Speaker 15: Have a great day.
- 8:14Speaker 10: However, John Jay, for you virgos, you show love my
- 8:17Speaker 10: acts of service and like mild criticism so tomorrow you're
- 8:21Speaker 10: going to fix your partner's life. You're going to organize
- 8:23Speaker 10: their schedule and expect them to thank you for saving
- 8:25Speaker 10: them from themselves.
- 8:26Speaker 2: That's me. How about Kyle.
- 8:29Speaker 10: You are obsessed with being a part of an aesthetic duo,
- 8:31Speaker 10: so you will spend hours making sure that your outfits match,
- 8:34Speaker 10: that the lighting is good, and your relationship literally looks
- 8:37Speaker 10: like a romantic movie post.
- 8:39Speaker 6: It's like me every time we take family pictures forever.
- 8:44Speaker 10: Yeah, Richie, for you, you are completely lost in your relationships.
- 8:48Speaker 10: You are accepting a cinematic kind of romantic comedy moment,
- 8:52Speaker 10: and you're gonna complete it all with like eye contact
- 8:54Speaker 10: from across the crowded room.
- 8:55Speaker 8: Oh that's lovely relationship though not relationships.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yeah, very just yes one. How about Leo, since it
- 9:03Speaker 2: is Leo's season.
- 9:04Speaker 10: Well yeah, it is Leo season, but we are in
- 9:06Speaker 10: the final stretch of our birth season, so we are
- 9:09Speaker 10: going to be expected to be treated like the ultimate
- 9:11Speaker 10: trophy partner. We need public declarations of love, we need
- 9:15Speaker 10: the social media post, and we need absolute devotion.
- 9:18Speaker 9: All day long.
- 9:19Speaker 2: All right, nice job. If we had to get to
- 9:21Speaker 2: your birthday, it's I'll post it on our website John
- 9:23Speaker 2: Jaynrich dot com. Hey Jake, come morning, you're on the air, man, what's.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Happen to Hey?
- 9:34Speaker 16: So I was listening to the podcast recently and there's
- 9:39Speaker 16: about that girl that found the money in the dresser
- 9:42Speaker 16: that she got off Facebook marketplace, you know, and something
- 9:46Speaker 16: similar happened to me. I bought a couch a Facebook
- 9:50Speaker 16: marketplace for like, I don't know, fifty or sixty box,
- 9:53Speaker 16: pretty cheap, and the guy said he was moving and
- 9:57Speaker 16: needed it gone like that same day. It wasn't like
- 9:59Speaker 16: anything special, just a nice hand couch. I got it home,
- 10:04Speaker 16: sit down. My girlfriend notices a zipper on the cushion,
- 10:08Speaker 16: so we on zip it and get this. There's an
- 10:11Speaker 16: envelope stuffed underneath for like two thousand dollars cash and
- 10:15Speaker 16: a hotel key. I messaged the guy and I was like, hey, man,
- 10:18Speaker 16: I think he left something on the couch, and he
- 10:20Speaker 16: immediately responds like keep the money please and capital letters,
- 10:25Speaker 16: just throw away the key and like an exclamation mark.
- 10:29Speaker 16: So I don't know like what happened on that couch.
- 10:34Speaker 16: I didn't ask any follow up questions, but it was nuts.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Your couch just paid for itself.
- 10:39Speaker 6: A Benz wouldn't that make you nervous that's gonna come
- 10:42Speaker 6: after you for the money? Yeah, like keep the money please,
- 10:45Speaker 6: like you didn't want.
- 10:46Speaker 9: To deal with it.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Also, I mean when you said hotel key, I think
- 10:48Speaker 2: of a hotel credit card key and expired. Now I'm
- 10:52Speaker 2: assuming that maybe you thought it was a hotel key
- 10:54Speaker 2: because he just said throw away the key. He didn't
- 10:56Speaker 2: say throw away the hotel key. So what if it
- 10:58Speaker 2: was a key to like you know in the movies
- 11:00Speaker 2: when you hit the bus stop and they have a locker,
- 11:03Speaker 2: how do you know, like you call them a hotel key.
- 11:06Speaker 2: What if it's not a hotel key? And what if
- 11:07Speaker 2: there's more money, what if there's drugs? What if there's
- 11:11Speaker 2: bricks of blow in the couch? No, no, where the
- 11:14Speaker 2: key in the locker? Like the key it's a I mean,
- 11:17Speaker 2: what did a key look like? Because was the last
- 11:19Speaker 2: time we went to a hotel where there was a key,
- 11:21Speaker 2: not a car, like maybe a motel probably not a
- 11:24Speaker 2: really don't know.
- 11:24Speaker 6: Maybe was it an actual key?
- 11:26Speaker 2: There was no, Maybe it was not a hotel key.
- 11:28Speaker 16: It was a card. It was like when there's digital ones.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Oh then you're fine, it's dead. That's why I said
- 11:34Speaker 2: throw it away, But why would you say keep the money? Well,
- 11:36Speaker 2: why would you say throw away the key? He didn't
- 11:38Speaker 2: care you're throw it the key. It's not going to
- 11:39Speaker 2: do him again, like if he says throw away the
- 11:41Speaker 2: key because there's a bunch of whatever. Like but anyway,
- 11:46Speaker 2: but that's not the case.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Still ominous. I would still think someone might.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yes, they don't spend that money right away. It's so
- 11:51Speaker 2: not that exciting when you find out that it's just
- 11:54Speaker 2: expired card key. I know. Is it's like.
- 11:57Speaker 8: Anytimes somebody shows up and they say where's them and
- 12:00Speaker 8: you don't know where it is.
- 12:01Speaker 2: That's not good for you. That's not cool. We've seen
- 12:03Speaker 2: enough movies like that. Who says keep the money? I
- 12:06Speaker 2: don't know. I'd be like, yell, met you.
- 12:07Speaker 6: I'd be like, yeah, someone who wants nothing.
- 12:10Speaker 2: To do with because it's.
- 12:13Speaker 16: True.
- 12:13Speaker 2: All right, dude, Well thanks for sharing that with us.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Don't tell us what city you're in, just in case
- 12:18Speaker 2: you know, they track you down.
- 12:21Speaker 17: That's true.
- 12:21Speaker 5: I didn't even think of that.
- 12:22Speaker 15: You don't get on the radio.
- 12:23Speaker 16: They could actually find out.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Over the Google vo you're in trouble. Hold on, dude,
- 12:29Speaker 2: I was a goose the drunk down line six oh
- 12:41Speaker 2: two eight eight eight nineteen thirty three. Leave us messages.

- 12:46Speaker 2: hitting on you, or if there's just nothing going on,
- 12:48Speaker 2: you want to chat, leave us a message.
- 12:51Speaker 15: Hey, I'm just calling.
- 12:53Speaker 16: I want to talk to Jimmedy.
- 12:56Speaker 8: Mike no Order told me I didn't talk to Jimmthy
- 12:59Speaker 8: on this number.
- 13:00Speaker 2: He have him calling back that little short rocket in there.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I'm'm calling back Jimmy thing. Oh Jimmy, you're saying Jimothy,
- 13:10Speaker 2: Jimmothy's the squirrel.
- 13:12Speaker 9: I was gonna say, yeah, that's Portland.
- 13:15Speaker 2: That guy must have left the message for us two
- 13:17Speaker 2: weeks ago, because it was big about two weeks ago.
- 13:20Speaker 9: Hey, I just saw that Spider video right now. I
- 13:22Speaker 9: just went on live.
- 13:23Speaker 2: That's pretty that's pretty sick.
- 13:25Speaker 9: I mean I always wanted Spider.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Hell yeah, that must be in reference to the Trantla
- 13:32Speaker 2: game we played a week agos Riches Arm you might
- 13:35Speaker 2: have to start playing these a little bit sooner the morning, guys.
- 13:40Speaker 18: I don't want to call in because I'm afraid some
- 13:44Speaker 18: of my work coworkers might recognize my voice. But I
- 13:48Speaker 18: am definitely stoned. Hit the bong and I'm.
- 13:51Speaker 5: About to go hit it again.
- 13:52Speaker 2: We tried a lot him to work. Yeah, okay, right, Gay.
- 14:01Speaker 7: Hi.
- 14:02Speaker 6: So I'm calling because my coworker warned me that this
- 14:07Speaker 6: guy I was about to.
- 14:08Speaker 19: Help at work was a quote unquote a total and
- 14:13Speaker 19: without even thinking at all, I smiled and said, Oh my.
- 14:18Speaker 2: God, I can't believe I did this perfect.
- 14:20Speaker 15: I'm actually really good with.
- 14:23Speaker 6: The entire office went dead silence.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Before I realized what I just admitted. So SMOs good
- 14:30Speaker 2: to have a specialty.
- 14:34Speaker 15: Hi.
- 14:34Speaker 2: My name's Johnny.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I'm calling from Tucson, just calling in about the last names.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I went to high school with a guy last name Wood,
- 14:42Speaker 3: first name Willie.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Really would that's a fun name. He should go like
- 14:49Speaker 2: a the Pliant Store or something.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Hi, I just wanted to add to your unfortunate name
- 14:56Speaker 4: combination segment. I used to have a clon end that
- 15:00Speaker 4: came into my work and her name was Windy. But
- 15:06Speaker 4: Windy but.
- 15:10Speaker 2: That's awesome again. The drunk Down Line six two eighty eight,
- 15:13Speaker 2: nineteen thirty three, or the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app,
- 15:17Speaker 2: and on the talkback feature right now, by the way,
- 15:20Speaker 2: I think we're giving away a trip to Vegas. Yeah right,
- 15:23Speaker 2: the details of that simple. It's a Vegas trip. Has
- 15:27Speaker 2: nothing new with the iHeart Awards. It's just a trip
- 15:29Speaker 2: to Vegas. It's the Vegas Talkback sweepstakes. So you go
- 15:33Speaker 2: on the talkback and share your favorite Vegas story for
- 15:37Speaker 2: a chance to win a trip to Vegas. Very simple,
- 15:39Speaker 2: and we're gonna pick a winner on Friday. Very simple.
- 15:42Speaker 2: There you go. That's simple, Just a Vegas talkback sweepstakes.
- 15:44Speaker 9: Good luck talk or throw some shape.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, John Jay and Rich.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Time for stacks and hacks. I have stax of information.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Rich has life hacks. What sabby you guys ever had
- 15:59Speaker 2: was sibby? Of course you know what sabby was four
- 16:04Speaker 2: was sabi was originally eaten with sushi to kill the
- 16:08Speaker 2: bacteria and raw fish, not for its flavor. Wow, that's
- 16:12Speaker 2: not necessary now with sanitary conditions, but people still eat
- 16:14Speaker 2: it out of habit spicy, it's delicious.
- 16:17Speaker 9: I like seen and what is it? Cars through.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I've heard there are more tigers in Americans backyards and
- 16:30Speaker 2: zoos than in the wild. There were only four thousands
- 16:34Speaker 2: of five thousand tigers in the wild and five thousand
- 16:36Speaker 2: to seven thousand being kept as exotic pets.
- 16:39Speaker 8: Aren't most of them in Texas too, Carol Baski crazy pets.
- 16:44Speaker 2: So this is interesting. A big survey was done by
- 16:48Speaker 2: one of the most popular sodas in every state. What
- 16:52Speaker 2: do you think is the number one soda here here? Nope?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Root beer, Nope, Doctor pepper, Doctor pepper. Dr Pepper is
- 17:00Speaker 2: huge in seventeen states Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Montana,
- 17:04Speaker 2: New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, Canada. Dry ginger
- 17:08Speaker 2: ale is strong in Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and
- 17:13Speaker 2: they goes Mountain Dew. Mountain Dew is a Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Nebraska. Anyway,
- 17:19Speaker 2: get this. A twenty six year old man in the
- 17:21Speaker 2: UK was arrested after dressing up as the Grim Reaper, right,
- 17:25Speaker 2: you know? The Grim Reaper is the guy that that's
- 17:26Speaker 2: who you see before you die, they say. And he
- 17:29Speaker 2: just climbed on the roof of a hospital and just
- 17:31Speaker 2: stared at staff and visitors.
- 17:33Speaker 9: Why would he do that?
- 17:35Speaker 2: They don't know why he did. Freak weird. If I
- 17:38Speaker 2: saw the Grim Reaper at the hospital, I'm going in,
- 17:42Speaker 2: that's weird, all right? So an Amazon worker is calling
- 17:44Speaker 2: out customers that keep ordering you know that essential water.
- 17:48Speaker 2: You ever heard of essential water? Yeah, it's good water.
- 17:51Speaker 2: But think about this. This is his point. He posted
- 17:53Speaker 2: this on Instagram and it's going viral. This is what
- 17:54Speaker 2: he's telling the people that order essential water to the.
- 17:57Speaker 20: People who keep ordering this water from Amazon. The back
- 18:01Speaker 20: of this truck is not air conditioned. It's one hundred
- 18:04Speaker 20: and ten back here. Your nine point five pH isn't
- 18:07Speaker 20: really doing is the plastic has leached into the water.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Uh makes sense, right, That was a big thing. Don't
- 18:17Speaker 2: keep your water in those uh plastic water bottles and
- 18:20Speaker 2: then they get hot and then it turns even worse
- 18:21Speaker 2: for you. Terrible. There's also this story this little kid,
- 18:25Speaker 2: he was fishing eight years old in Pennsylvania, pull out
- 18:28Speaker 2: a fish, turns out as a piranha, and the kid
- 18:32Speaker 2: knew it was a piranha.
- 18:34Speaker 21: I was like, slowdown, dude, you might lose it. It
- 18:36Speaker 21: looks like something we haven't called before. I was like, oh,
- 18:38Speaker 21: it's like a blue girl.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I don't know what this is. And he said, it's
- 18:39Speaker 2: a piranha.
- 18:40Speaker 9: How'd you know it was a pirana? Because I like
- 18:42Speaker 9: seeing too.
- 18:43Speaker 21: We've had some crazy fish experiences.
- 18:46Speaker 6: Wow, of course it was YouTube.
- 18:49Speaker 10: Being educated and not with like that brain rot stuff.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Peyton and Kyle, do you guys take cooking advice from
- 18:57Speaker 2: your mom?
- 18:58Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 18:59Speaker 2: Eighteen Americans say they would rather take cooking advice from
- 19:02Speaker 2: so called food influencer than their own mother. Thirty three
- 19:05Speaker 2: percent say their mom's recipes are on par with cooking
- 19:07Speaker 2: advice with social media, but some people won't. A homeowner
- 19:11Speaker 2: is going viral for showing herself spray painting a dead
- 19:13Speaker 2: bush green because her HOA keeps charging your forty five
- 19:17Speaker 2: dollars penalties.
- 19:18Speaker 9: Yeah, and it actually looks green.
- 19:20Speaker 10: But people are commenting, They're like, that's just ridiculous for
- 19:23Speaker 10: you to do, because when it rains, the green's gonna
- 19:26Speaker 10: seek and.
- 19:27Speaker 9: Spill onto the concrete.
- 19:28Speaker 10: And she's responding, She's like, do you think spray paint
- 19:30Speaker 10: runs after it drives?
- 19:32Speaker 9: They're clapping now. I feel like like people.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Have done that in their yards for years too, like
- 19:37Speaker 6: spray frot the grass.
- 19:38Speaker 9: There's like a little well.
- 19:40Speaker 2: This last story of Staxson hacks for Me, kyle'sys for
- 19:43Speaker 2: you and your husband. The site love Honey as a
- 19:46Speaker 2: list of the top ten best states for swingers. Thank you.
- 19:50Speaker 6: That's for us because we're such crazy swingers.
- 19:53Speaker 2: The top two states for swingers an he guesses of
- 19:55Speaker 2: Las Vegas, Nevada, Florida, Florida and Texas of course, then Georgia, Nevada, Tennessee, California, Pennsylvania,
- 20:04Speaker 2: New York, Ohio, and Michigan. Wow, a couple of neighborhoods
- 20:07Speaker 2: in Morana. What do you got for life?
- 20:09Speaker 8: Acts rich Well, John Jay, You're gonna love this. Did
- 20:12Speaker 8: you know that you are at least thirty percent less
- 20:16Speaker 8: likely to die of anything if you take the stairs?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Oh? No way?
- 20:20Speaker 8: Yeah, so check this. There's a sweet spot by the way,
- 20:22Speaker 8: and you were not hitting it here. I'll tell you
- 20:24Speaker 8: that right now. There's only four Well you got it.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 8: So they say you're forty percent lowering your chance of
- 20:30Speaker 8: dying of heart disease. They tested five hundred thousand people.
- 20:33Speaker 8: There's a big study and they say just taking stairs
- 20:37Speaker 8: will help you cut your risk of heart disease and anything. Really,
- 20:42Speaker 8: but there is a sweet spot. It's about six flights,
- 20:45Speaker 8: which means about sixty to ninety stairs a day. So
- 20:47Speaker 8: what you could do probably for you and I know
- 20:49Speaker 8: how OCD you are walk up about halfway, walk back down,
- 20:53Speaker 8: and then walk back up again. I feel like you're
- 20:55Speaker 8: probably gonna do that on the way to work. But yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 8: they say skip the elevator. Now, I mean it's not gonna,
- 21:00Speaker 8: you know, take the place of your entire workout. But
- 21:03Speaker 8: they found that people that walk up hills a lot
- 21:07Speaker 8: every single day just live longer. So take that into account.
- 21:12Speaker 8: That life hacking. Many more can be found at John J.
- 21:14Speaker 8: Rich dot com.
- 21:14Speaker 15: The next segment we're.
- 21:15Speaker 21: Going to do is called second Date Update.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Because that's what we're going to try and get, and
- 21:20Speaker 2: that's what the bit is called Second Date Update starts
- 21:23Speaker 2: right now on John Jay and Ridge. All rights have
- 21:26Speaker 2: for a second date update. You meet somebody, you've gone
- 21:27Speaker 2: a date, you have a good time, you expect her
- 21:29Speaker 2: to be a second date. It doesn't happen, so you
- 21:31Speaker 2: come down. That's what Megan's doing. Hollo up, Megan, Hey, Hey,
- 21:34Speaker 2: what's your story? What happened?
- 21:36Speaker 13: I'm just really confused. I went out with this guy
- 21:40Speaker 13: and I really thought we hit it off. But basically,
- 21:45Speaker 13: like he's ghosting me. Now I don't know, you don't
- 21:49Speaker 13: know who he's going, so he is definitely ghosting me.
- 21:53Speaker 13: Like for sure. So I actually met him in a
- 21:56Speaker 13: really random way. I was asking my friend for recommendation
- 22:00Speaker 13: on a new place to go get botox, and she
- 22:03Speaker 13: recommended him. So she's got a few businesses, and he's
- 22:10Speaker 13: super successful and very much has his life together. He's handsome. Yeah,
- 22:15Speaker 13: I was immediately into him. Okay, So we actually ended
- 22:18Speaker 13: up flirting basically the entire appointment, and then afterwards he
- 22:22Speaker 13: asked for my number, and yeah, we went out like
- 22:25Speaker 13: a couple days later, and we made out and things
- 22:30Speaker 13: got a little handsy, but nothing crazy. And then after
- 22:32Speaker 13: that we were texting for a couple of days here
- 22:34Speaker 13: and there, and everything seems completely normal, and then out
- 22:38Speaker 13: of nowhere, he just stopped. And now like I'm getting
- 22:42Speaker 13: one word answers, if anything at all, And I just
- 22:46Speaker 13: don't understand what changed. Like I thought we were on
- 22:50Speaker 13: the time, on the same page, and I really liked him.
- 22:53Speaker 13: I thought the feeling was mutual. So I'm confused.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Is he a doctor.
- 23:00Speaker 13: Not really, he's more like a like aesthetic nurse.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Turn I think it'd be some sort of lying cross
- 23:07Speaker 2: when you ask a patient out to That's what I
- 23:10Speaker 2: was thinking.
- 23:10Speaker 6: Maybe he realized what he was doing. Yeah, Finally, I
- 23:16Speaker 6: didn't even.
- 23:16Speaker 13: Think about that. I feel like, yeah, I didn't even
- 23:19Speaker 13: think about that.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But he did your botox. He injected you.
- 23:22Speaker 13: Yes, he definitely did. But I thought I took my
- 23:25Speaker 13: friend like mentioned, you know, like but I was cute
- 23:28Speaker 13: or whatever.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 23:29Speaker 13: I didn't think about that.
- 23:30Speaker 2: So it was maybe a SODO set up anyway.
- 23:32Speaker 13: Yeah, kind of I feel like that's kind of what
- 23:35Speaker 13: it was. How could it not be she knows me.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Well, let's get a mother the phone. We'll find out
- 23:39Speaker 2: why he's going you off. How long ago was this date?
- 23:42Speaker 13: So it was just a couple of weeks ago, Okay, Jason?
- 23:45Speaker 2: All right, you hanged tight. We're going to get Jason
- 23:48Speaker 2: on the phone and we're going to find out why
- 23:50Speaker 2: he's blowing you off. Second ate update In fact, hold on, Dylan,
- 23:53Speaker 2: why you get just call this Jason guy real quick,
- 23:55Speaker 2: get a mother phones. We haven't ready to go. Second
- 23:57Speaker 2: update continues next with time Jane Rich did they say
- 24:00Speaker 2: the holy what is a were in the middle of
- 24:08Speaker 2: second and update.
- 24:10Speaker 8: This is the story of Meghan and Jason. Meghan is
- 24:13Speaker 8: confused her date does botox. He's a professional injector. The
- 24:18Speaker 8: appointment with Jason was a flirt fest. The flirtfest turned
- 24:21Speaker 8: into a date, the date turned you a kissing fest,
- 24:24Speaker 8: and that kissing fast turned into a blowoff in Meghan
- 24:28Speaker 8: is wondering what went wrong?
- 24:30Speaker 2: All right, Megan, we got Jason ready to go, So
- 24:32Speaker 2: you stay quiet. Okay, we're going to pass you through,
- 24:34Speaker 2: all right, Jason, Hello, we want to talk to you
- 24:39Speaker 2: about your date with Megan. She says, you're blowing her off.
- 24:43Speaker 15: Yeah, so I'm I'm not gonna lie. I definitely pulled
- 24:46Speaker 15: back because there was just a lot of red flags everywhere.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Red flags. Okay, let's hear some of these red flags.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Let's hear your point of view on your date with Megan.
- 24:54Speaker 15: So, like, at first I really liked her, but then
- 24:58Speaker 15: she straight up told me like I don't care what
- 25:01Speaker 15: I have to do.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I'm going to be at the top.
- 25:03Speaker 15: And I thought she was joking, but she obviously wasn't.
- 25:07Speaker 15: And and so then I followed her on Instagram and
- 25:11Speaker 15: like everything started making sense, like her entire life seems
- 25:14Speaker 15: to be content, Like she told me she's stopped talking
- 25:19Speaker 15: to guys before because they didn't quote unquote like photograph
- 25:22Speaker 15: well for her feed. And then she asked me how
- 25:27Speaker 15: much my businesses make, and she told me which one
- 25:31Speaker 15: that she would or that would look the best on
- 25:34Speaker 15: her background of her videos and like at one point
- 25:38Speaker 15: she even said, if we ever date, you need to
- 25:41Speaker 15: understand I'm posting this soft launch before I even tell
- 25:44Speaker 15: my mom. I was like, okay, that's that's odd, but
- 25:48Speaker 15: like that, I don't know. That one really got to me.
- 25:51Speaker 15: And then she asked if I could start doing her
- 25:54Speaker 15: botox for free because and I quote, if you're gonna
- 25:58Speaker 15: be my man, you should probably invested in the face
- 26:01Speaker 15: you're dating. I like what, Like I didn't say her face,
- 26:05Speaker 15: but like inside uh so, Like I started feeling like
- 26:08Speaker 15: she just wasn't really interested in me. She was more
- 26:11Speaker 15: interested in dating, like what I could do for her.
- 26:14Speaker 15: So yeah, I'm good.
- 26:17Speaker 13: Oh are you serious? Have no problem? Superficial? I was
- 26:24Speaker 13: when you were making out with me?
- 26:27Speaker 15: Wait, Will, why are you on the phone. What's what's
- 26:34Speaker 15: going on right now? Is this one sort of like prank?
- 26:37Speaker 7: No?
- 26:37Speaker 13: No, no, keep going tell everybody how awful I am. Here,
- 26:40Speaker 13: I am three businesses, like you're really somebody?
- 26:43Speaker 14: Please?
- 26:44Speaker 15: Okay, Okay, no, I did not sign up for this.
- 26:46Speaker 15: I thought I was explaining why I stopped talking to you,
- 26:49Speaker 15: not to get rated by someone I don't even know.
- 26:52Speaker 13: So like, yeah, and I'm explaining why maybe you should
- 26:56Speaker 13: humble yourself. Okay, you do both talks for a living,
- 26:58Speaker 13: but somehow you managed to me your forehead. Make it
- 27:01Speaker 13: makes sense?
- 27:01Speaker 15: Oh, oh my god, oh my god. Okay, see this
- 27:06Speaker 15: is this is exactly what I'm talking about.
- 27:08Speaker 13: Like, No, what you're talking about is being intimidated by
- 27:11Speaker 13: a woman who wants attention when you literally make money
- 27:14Speaker 13: off women who want attention. Make it make sense? You
- 27:17Speaker 13: don't make any sense, Jason.
- 27:19Speaker 15: Yeah, people really great about my.
- 27:21Speaker 14: Decision right now?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Fine? Good?
- 27:25Speaker 22: You know what.
- 27:26Speaker 13: I wouldn't have posted you on my feet anyway.
- 27:28Speaker 8: Oh do you don't think he's good good looking enough
- 27:30Speaker 8: to be on your phone?
- 27:31Speaker 2: You said he was hot, and actually he's not that handsome.
- 27:34Speaker 2: You said he was adds though he needs.
- 27:37Speaker 13: He needs a little photos himself.
- 27:40Speaker 15: I'll get along just fine.
- 27:42Speaker 6: I did not see this coming, Like you showed us
- 27:44Speaker 6: none of this part of you when you we talked
- 27:46Speaker 6: to you earlier. Again, I feel like if you did,
- 27:48Speaker 6: we might say that may be it.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yeah, when you told me about free botox, since you're
- 27:54Speaker 2: going to be his many.
- 27:56Speaker 10: Like you started doing it for a while I could
- 27:59Speaker 10: understand as a joke.
- 28:00Speaker 9: But first date, that's kind of great.
- 28:02Speaker 13: That was totally a joke.
- 28:04Speaker 8: Oka, But you're are you that serious about your content
- 28:09Speaker 8: where that's what you're doing on the date is kind
- 28:11Speaker 8: of working them around your content.
- 28:14Speaker 13: I mean, I was just trying to be silly goofy
- 28:16Speaker 13: with him. I don't know why he took everything so seriously.
- 28:18Speaker 13: I thought we were just joking around having a good time. Like, yes,
- 28:21Speaker 13: I'm very serious about, you know, my content creation and
- 28:24Speaker 13: my influencer status, but like that's not my whole life,
- 28:29Speaker 13: all right, So.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I'll look afk you this, Jason, do you want to
- 28:32Speaker 2: go out with her again? And we'll pay for it? Okay, okay,
- 28:37Speaker 2: all right, that's why we offer. All right, very good.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Thank you both for going on there with the day
- 28:41Speaker 2: you havent Megan, that's why the boatox guy's not ding you.
- 28:44Speaker 2: All right. That's second date update eight seven seven nine
- 28:47Speaker 2: three seven one oh four seven. Your thoughts on second
- 28:49Speaker 2: ate update, Megan and Jason, thank you so much. It's
- 28:52Speaker 2: John Jay Rich.
- 28:54Speaker 9: I could be twist along to make stop.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Remember yesterday we were talking about tell us the crime
- 29:08Speaker 2: you committed, and we're gonna guess whether you went to
- 29:10Speaker 2: jail or got arrested or not. Yes, it was a
- 29:12Speaker 2: fabulous segment. And I read a comment from Chris, So
- 29:17Speaker 2: Chris is on the lab right now to tell us
- 29:19Speaker 2: his story.
- 29:20Speaker 14: What up, Chris? How you do?
- 29:22Speaker 11: So?
- 29:23Speaker 2: What was your story?
- 29:25Speaker 11: Well?
- 29:25Speaker 14: I was at a bar and I met this girl
- 29:30Speaker 14: and the bar is getting ready close, so we decided
- 29:32Speaker 14: to go to an after hours party, so we left
- 29:36Speaker 14: went to Circle K. When he pulled up at Circle K,
- 29:39Speaker 14: there was a cop car on the side of the building.
- 29:43Speaker 14: So she gets out to go get some beer. But
- 29:46Speaker 14: before she gets out, she licks in her purse, pulls
- 29:49Speaker 14: out a bottle of beer.
- 29:50Speaker 6: Gives it to me.
- 29:51Speaker 14: I didn't know she had taken it from the bar,
- 29:53Speaker 14: so she goes in the store. Two seconds later, I
- 29:57Speaker 14: had a knock on my window. Well on, the cops
- 30:00Speaker 14: are there. They look at me. I'm so I'm sitting
- 30:03Speaker 14: behind the wheel with an open beer, and they made
- 30:09Speaker 14: me get out and do the sobriety test and everything
- 30:12Speaker 14: jump out the beer. Meanwhile, the second cop goes in
- 30:16Speaker 14: and keeps her busy, so it hits to a clops
- 30:20Speaker 14: which can't buy beer. But they didn't arrest me or anything.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Okay, well we were going to guess. We're going to
- 30:29Speaker 2: guess that you didn't get arrested. I'm going to.
- 30:32Speaker 6: Also say he did not get arrested.
- 30:34Speaker 8: Every wind, I think I get a prize from Chris's
- 30:37Speaker 8: house since we guessed that, all.
- 30:38Speaker 14: Right, Chris, Yeah, that was kind of a but in
- 30:45Speaker 14: the other end, in the other end, you know, not
- 30:47Speaker 14: can happen. They ended right there. I took her home
- 30:50Speaker 14: and said, pred I don't want to deal with it.
- 30:52Speaker 8: That's a great line, instead of in the end everybody
- 30:54Speaker 8: was fine, he said. In the other end, in the
- 30:56Speaker 8: other end, up your butt, don't put banana?
- 31:00Speaker 9: Why do we have to play this every morning?
- 31:02Speaker 2: I wake up to? But no, don't go banana?
- 31:06Speaker 3: But I've told you several times before my blood is
- 31:10Speaker 3: not a banana door?
- 31:12Speaker 8: Is this your favorite song since the theme song from Landman?
- 31:16Speaker 2: Right right right up there? I got to tell you
- 31:18Speaker 2: what my favorite audio clip of the day is. I
- 31:20Speaker 2: can play this for you right now. I saw this
- 31:21Speaker 2: in It's a TV show called Good Dave Detroit, and
- 31:25Speaker 2: I guess they were talking about there's this show on Netflix.
- 31:28Speaker 2: A camera it was called Loan Survivor or somebody lives
- 31:31Speaker 2: in Australia by themselves and they have to loan the
- 31:34Speaker 2: last house something like that. No, No, it's like a
- 31:36Speaker 2: reality show and the guy and the guy had to
- 31:39Speaker 2: I guess he was deciding whether he was going to
- 31:41Speaker 2: eat a beaver an animal right, whether he was gonna
- 31:44Speaker 2: do it, And this is what happened live TV. So
- 31:47Speaker 2: like the double entendre is here. We don't need to
- 31:49Speaker 2: get into it, but that's what's happening.
- 31:51Speaker 6: Now.
- 31:51Speaker 2: They're ice fishing because everything is.
- 31:53Speaker 23: Frozen, and you're looking for fat and the beaver.
- 31:57Speaker 9: The beaver is the beaver is.
- 32:00Speaker 2: The most sought after it is, right.
- 32:05Speaker 7: Would you do you think you could eat beaber.
- 32:10Speaker 14: Fat?
- 32:10Speaker 19: And then it's.
- 32:20Speaker 6: It seems like he was getting the untonsured she was.
- 32:23Speaker 2: She wasn't.
- 32:23Speaker 6: She was just going deeper.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Into the no Ideah. Okay, you know there's a game
- 32:31Speaker 2: we play on the show Reverse the Verse, right where
- 32:35Speaker 2: we'll play a song backwards. You have to guess there's
- 32:37Speaker 2: a guy doing reverse the Verse live. So I'm going
- 32:40Speaker 2: to play it for I'll tell you, I'm gonna play
- 32:43Speaker 2: for you. And then I want to see if you
- 32:44Speaker 2: can guess what song is this, but let it go first
- 32:46Speaker 2: before you guess. Okay, So he's playing it on the guitar.
- 32:49Speaker 2: He's like practice it backwards.
- 32:51Speaker 24: So yuh, yup, enough of it, yark enough.
- 33:04Speaker 23: Y okay, that's very difficult. I have no idea what's
- 33:17Speaker 23: son is singing?
- 33:19Speaker 2: Man? No, I don't have it. I should. He's got
- 33:21Speaker 2: a great voice.
- 33:22Speaker 6: S Mendes song.
- 33:23Speaker 2: No, that's a good guess, very good guess. But no, okay, uh,
- 33:27Speaker 2: maybe it's Shawn Mendes before he was Shawn Mendes. This
- 33:31Speaker 2: is the this isn't an older song, but but we
- 33:34Speaker 2: all know it. No no, no no. And then after
- 33:37Speaker 2: we do this, I wonder if that's something you could
- 33:38Speaker 2: do rich into our guitar player. But here is the
- 33:40Speaker 2: song that this guy did one no we.
- 33:46Speaker 9: Let you know.
- 33:49Speaker 24: Hard road and he shot your.
- 33:59Speaker 8: Little is supreme talent right there. That is amazing because hecause.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I sang it backwards, played it backwards, that's what it's forwards.
- 34:11Speaker 8: So I thought he may be cheated and just played
- 34:13Speaker 8: it forwards and then just reversed it like we do
- 34:15Speaker 8: on our game. But he learned it backwards. That's amazing,
- 34:19Speaker 8: very talented.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Can you do it?
- 34:22Speaker 6: You can do it?
- 34:23Speaker 2: I will. I will try for sure. Have you by tomorrow? Sure,
- 34:26Speaker 2: I'll try by tomorrow.
- 34:30Speaker 6: You can do anything you put your mind.
- 34:31Speaker 2: That's true, you can. So. Matthew McConaughey's in the news
- 34:36Speaker 2: and it's kind of cool. I want to plant I
- 34:37Speaker 2: want to I want to plant a seat in you, guys.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I double love Dondre No. A song changed his life.
- 34:44Speaker 2: He says, there's a song that changed his life. That
- 34:48Speaker 2: thought is it? And as soon as I heard that,
- 34:49Speaker 2: I thought, I wonder if there's a song that has
- 34:50Speaker 2: changed my life. And they're kind of I kind of
- 34:52Speaker 2: do have that. So here's here's the story. This song
- 34:55Speaker 2: made him stop smoking pot a I don't know, not yet, Beason.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I quit smoking weed. We used to be you could
- 35:06Speaker 2: roll the joint smoke.
- 35:07Speaker 1: It passed around, everyone giggles, gets some munchies, and maybe
- 35:10Speaker 1: runs off and tries to get some snuggle time. Well
- 35:13Speaker 1: then it started getting this hydroponic stuff where like one
- 35:16Speaker 1: token people, the subplots could become unmanageable and people would implode.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And this particular night, I was headed to my own
- 35:23Speaker 1: birthday party before I go on buddy Hampton's joint goes here, man,
- 35:26Speaker 1: it was not like the way I'd smoke before. I
- 35:28Speaker 1: listened to Janet Johnson's best The Way Love Goes twenty
- 35:31Speaker 1: four Times a row, And when I finally got out
- 35:33Speaker 1: of the car to go into my birthday party, no
- 35:36Speaker 1: one was in there because it was over. They had
- 35:38Speaker 1: all left because I sat in the freaking car listen,
- 35:42Speaker 1: listen to us the Way Love Goes twenty four times
- 35:45Speaker 1: because I thought at the.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Time that was more important than going to my own
- 35:48Speaker 2: birthday party.
- 35:49Speaker 5: That's the way they look, that's the way I love goes,
- 35:51Speaker 5: the way to live, that's the way love goes.
- 35:55Speaker 2: So change his life? Any songs here, well, I mean
- 35:58Speaker 2: that's different. I know which song changed your life?
- 36:02Speaker 12: John Jay, Well, don't put bananas in my butt.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Bananas in my butt, I've told you several times before.
- 36:10Speaker 2: My blood is not a banana door. Any songs change
- 36:15Speaker 2: your life? Eight seven, seven, nine, three seven one oh
- 36:17Speaker 2: four seven Rich you man, this is a tough one.
- 36:20Speaker 8: I've been thinking about this because many songs changed my life.
- 36:24Speaker 8: But I think it's the first ever rock song that
- 36:27Speaker 8: I heard, because you know, I grew up my dad
- 36:29Speaker 8: listened to the news, and my mom was in a
- 36:30Speaker 8: choir and she listened to either show.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Tunes or she listened to either show tunes or like
- 36:37Speaker 2: Bible music.
- 36:38Speaker 8: So the first time I heard a rock song, I
- 36:42Speaker 8: can remember what it was, and I'm looking for it
- 36:44Speaker 8: right now.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Come on.
- 36:46Speaker 8: It's We Will Rock You by Queen. It's the first
- 36:48Speaker 8: song I heard, and I'm like, what is that? I
- 36:52Speaker 8: was probably five years old and I was gone, and
- 36:54Speaker 8: I was addicted to the radio. At that point, I
- 36:57Speaker 8: told my dad and I need to find a radio.
- 37:00Speaker 8: So he found me a little transistor radio and I
- 37:02Speaker 8: found a rock station on the radio.
- 37:04Speaker 2: But this was it.
- 37:05Speaker 8: This is the first time I heard this right here,
- 37:08Speaker 8: right there, that moment right there, I'm like, I'm in.
- 37:14Speaker 6: It's a good song.
- 37:15Speaker 9: It is.
- 37:15Speaker 8: So it made me want to play guitar, and it
- 37:18Speaker 8: made me want to be on the radio, make a
- 37:21Speaker 8: big lie.
- 37:22Speaker 2: And I still have the same job.
- 37:24Speaker 6: And you did both those things. Yeah, play guitar and
- 37:26Speaker 6: are on the radio.
- 37:27Speaker 2: So I just want to know if any songs changed
- 37:29Speaker 2: their life, let us know. We'll find it and play
- 37:31Speaker 2: for you.
- 37:31Speaker 9: You said you had one.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I do, but what's stupid?
- 37:34Speaker 6: It's okay, sure, it anyway.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Sure. So when I was a kid, my dad like
- 37:40Speaker 2: told me to watch this movie. It was on TV.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It was called West Side Story. It's been remade already
- 37:45Speaker 2: a couple times. So there's a song on that movie
- 37:48Speaker 2: soundtrack called Something's Coming, And I've always used that song
- 37:53Speaker 2: to motivate me that something was coming, because something's coming.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, but it is gonna
- 37:58Speaker 2: be great. And I've always played that in my life,
- 38:02Speaker 2: like before I met my wife, before I had kids,
- 38:04Speaker 2: before I got this job, it was always the theme
- 38:06Speaker 2: song for me. There's no way it's in the system.
- 38:08Speaker 2: There's no it's not not in here. But it's like
- 38:11Speaker 2: one of those songs you could sing it. Oh, of
- 38:13Speaker 2: course I could sing let's hear it. Who knows?
- 38:17Speaker 7: Could be there's something to do any day? I will
- 38:20Speaker 7: know right away as soon as it shows. I gotta
- 38:24Speaker 7: feeling there's a miracle de gonna come true, come into me?
- 38:29Speaker 2: Could it be? Yes? It could something's come in something
- 38:32Speaker 2: good way? I would be like Will Ferrell the no, No,
- 38:34Speaker 2: I can't, I can't. Something's coming. I don't know what
- 38:41Speaker 2: it is, but it is gonna be great. Right the
- 38:49Speaker 2: corner or whistling down the river. It was a great
- 38:54Speaker 2: songs nothing Peyton got. You don't have a song to
- 38:58Speaker 2: change your life.
- 39:00Speaker 9: I feel like have changed my life.
- 39:03Speaker 10: I feel like for me, I remember the very first
- 39:05Speaker 10: song that I was like, oh yeah, I think like
- 39:07Speaker 10: R and B Slow Jams, Alicia Keys Fallen. I was like,
- 39:11Speaker 10: who is this angel from above? Also like the first
- 39:14Speaker 10: time I ever heard Justin Bieber, like, come on.
- 39:28Speaker 2: So good, still chills change your life? What did you
- 39:31Speaker 2: do well?
- 39:32Speaker 9: I just this song specifically.
- 39:34Speaker 10: I played basketball my whole entire life. This is the
- 39:37Speaker 10: song that would get me game ready. But before my
- 39:40Speaker 10: state championships, I would say games, it's a girl makes
- 39:47Speaker 10: you say.
- 39:53Speaker 6: Okay, it would be Sultan Peppa Shoop. And I'll tell
- 39:57Speaker 6: you why. Because I was in middle cool and there
- 40:02Speaker 6: was a piece of mail that came for me from
- 40:05Speaker 6: BMG and it said pick ten CDs for one cent.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I was like, I got a cent.
- 40:11Speaker 6: I picked ten CDs. This was one of them. It
- 40:13Speaker 6: was the first one that arrived, so it was like
- 40:15Speaker 6: the first one I ever got. And I was like,
- 40:18Speaker 6: there's no way that I should be allowed to do this.
- 40:20Speaker 6: Like when I'm in middle school, I don't have a
- 40:22Speaker 6: credit card. I don't know why they sent me the CDs,
- 40:24Speaker 6: but they did somehow, and it was the first time
- 40:26Speaker 6: I was like I could do things, like I could
- 40:28Speaker 6: do whatever I want.
- 40:29Speaker 9: Oh that's epic.
- 40:30Speaker 2: DA looks funny about that. You just said. You listen
- 40:32Speaker 2: in the news today that company is out of business.
- 40:36Speaker 9: Are actually today?
- 40:37Speaker 2: Took them out on Columbia Records. They used to say,
- 40:40Speaker 2: pick what ten CDs? Yeah, music stirs you up, phone up,
- 40:47Speaker 2: the music shakes you out.
- 40:50Speaker 11: The Columbia Records and Tape Club you get a lot
- 40:53Speaker 11: more music.
- 40:58Speaker 2: It's in. You are done. They are They've closed eyes.
- 41:01Speaker 6: There's no reason anyone should be able to do that,
- 41:04Speaker 6: especially I.
- 41:05Speaker 8: Gotta tell you, I'm surprised they lasted all the way
- 41:07Speaker 8: in the twenty twenty.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Six Brian, you got a song that change your life?
- 41:11Speaker 25: Hey, hey, hey, yeah, hey, thanks for having me on.
- 41:15Speaker 25: So my daughter was born to almost two years ago,
- 41:18Speaker 25: and the ob I had a whole playlist of music
- 41:21Speaker 25: going the whole time. My wife was in there and
- 41:23Speaker 25: it was awesome, and she basically was like Obie has said,
- 41:27Speaker 25: you know this is just going to come out, So
- 41:28Speaker 25: it makes you put on the song that you want
- 41:30Speaker 25: so First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes. I
- 41:33Speaker 25: put that on and then my daughter was born, so
- 41:36Speaker 25: that song, I don't.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Know that song? How's it go? First Life?
- 41:43Speaker 25: Almost exactly like that?
- 41:44Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks Brian. Thanks you can't put on some good stuff. Melissa,
- 41:50Speaker 2: you got a song that change your life?
- 41:53Speaker 13: No, but I was just going to help you out.
- 41:54Speaker 13: That song that you were seeing was from West Side
- 41:57Speaker 13: Story called Something's Coming.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Yes, yes, are you a fan John Jay? Well?
- 42:04Speaker 8: Thank you, oh, thank you. If you'd like to do more,
- 42:07Speaker 8: I'm sure everybody'd like to hear it.
- 42:08Speaker 2: The most beautiful sound I ever he I do.
- 42:13Speaker 19: I do have something.
- 42:14Speaker 14: My mom always hated Maria, the song Maria. I just
- 42:18Speaker 14: remember that.
- 42:19Speaker 16: I don't know if that changed her life, and.
- 42:23Speaker 2: I think that I always if I ever had a daughter,
- 42:27Speaker 2: I wanted to name her Maria because that song. And
- 42:29Speaker 2: then Brooks and done, Mamuria. Thanks Melissa for calling in.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Bye guys, Bye Quinn, good morning. You got a song
- 42:37Speaker 2: that changed the morning.
- 42:39Speaker 11: Yes, it's a it's a song by Aprojacket's called ten
- 42:42Speaker 11: Feet Tall. When of my mom was in a nursing home,
- 42:46Speaker 11: I used to play that song because me and my
- 42:48Speaker 11: mom had like the most incredible relationship. And she always
- 42:51Speaker 11: used to like pump me up and make me feel
- 42:53Speaker 11: like I was like the best person in this whole
- 42:56Speaker 11: entire world. And so when I would go visit her
- 42:59Speaker 11: at the nursing home, I would that song and get
- 43:00Speaker 11: myself pumped up.
- 43:01Speaker 2: It's like, it's like.
- 43:02Speaker 11: One of the most incredible songs, and it just attributes
- 43:05Speaker 11: my relationship with my mom.
- 43:09Speaker 9: In little Man's Will that.
- 43:14Speaker 8: You can try, it's so harm that's Afrojack.
- 43:18Speaker 2: I didn't know we had.
- 43:19Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, kind of feels a little Christian rocky.
- 43:27Speaker 26: Yeah, it's cool.
- 43:28Speaker 11: It's like she would always tell me like there's there's
- 43:32Speaker 11: nothing I can do, and when I would listen to
- 43:33Speaker 11: that song, it just remind me that, you know, I'm
- 43:35Speaker 11: stepping on buildings, cars and boats because she makes me
- 43:38Speaker 11: feel like I'm ten feet tall.
- 43:39Speaker 2: That's beautiful, dude. Well thanks for sharing that, Quinn.
- 43:45Speaker 11: All right, guys, you guys have a great day.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Thank you so much. It was an Afrojack scene because
- 43:48Speaker 2: I got high. I'm just thinking of afro Man.
- 43:50Speaker 8: Okay, Afrojack a little more, a little more eio.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Wow, same guy did both Angel. Angel, what's the song
- 43:59Speaker 2: that like changed your life. The reason by Huba Stak, why.
- 44:07Speaker 16: They allowed me.
- 44:08Speaker 5: To forgive myself for a lot of my mistakes in
- 44:11Speaker 5: my pass Like there's a lot of things that I
- 44:14Speaker 5: just was holding on to And after hearing that, I
- 44:17Speaker 5: was like, wow, that you know that was like written
- 44:21Speaker 5: for me.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Not a perfect person. What is there a mistake for
- 44:24Speaker 2: me that you can share with us?
- 44:28Speaker 5: Just a whole bunch of stuff that I wish I
- 44:30Speaker 5: would have never done, would have never gotten into.
- 44:33Speaker 2: There's a high school play he wasn't really proud of.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Like for me, this song has changed my life because
- 44:39Speaker 2: I wish I wouldn't have sang Something's Coming on the radio. Yeah,
- 44:45Speaker 2: you should have chosen Hubi Steak. That's cool.
- 44:47Speaker 8: This is also the only song I know from Hubi
- 44:49Speaker 8: Steak fame here, but that kicks up some memories there.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so now you've forgiven yourself, right Angel? Yeah is
- 45:05Speaker 2: powerful chills, The music is powerful. Angel. I'm glad you

- 45:12Speaker 2: Thanks you say in high school play that, Yeah, I've
- 45:17Speaker 2: been really proud of it. He forgave himself for that.
- 45:20Speaker 2: He took the lead mystery card and he was desire
- 45:23Speaker 2: and he shouldn't have. You should have played the lesson
- 45:24Speaker 2: part I put on. I had a pair of skinny
- 45:26Speaker 2: jeans one time. I forgive myself.
- 45:28Speaker 21: Yeah, guys, what guys, I gotta admit, I'm surprised that
- 45:33Speaker 21: I put a song up that I know changed Kyle's life.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I don't know if you.
- 45:39Speaker 25: Surprise, I'm just surprised she didn't bring it up already.
- 45:43Speaker 2: She went all TLZ.
- 45:45Speaker 8: She forgot about the original original purveyors of cool.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Cavin, is there a song that changed your life?
- 46:00Speaker 17: Yeah? Yeah, there there is a song. It's called cover
- 46:03Speaker 17: Me Up by Jason Isabel. It's a country song, and uh,
- 46:08Speaker 17: you know, while while I was trying to get sober
- 46:11Speaker 17: during my detox, it was just a visible time in
- 46:13Speaker 17: my life and I'd sit in this room and uh,
- 46:17Speaker 17: my wife played his song for me one time, and
- 46:20Speaker 17: after that, I just I would listen to a NonStop
- 46:23Speaker 17: while I was feeling sick, and I just love that song.
- 46:27Speaker 6: Man.
- 46:28Speaker 2: That's how long you've been sober.
- 46:31Speaker 17: And a four year sober in January.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Congratulations, Thank you for calling.
- 46:35Speaker 17: In, Kean, Thanks for listening.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Man, ce Men, music is powerful, man. There is a
- 46:40Speaker 2: song that changed my life and it's rich doing the
- 46:43Speaker 2: cover of Blanklin Eddie two.
- 46:47Speaker 8: It's a good thing because anytime my bands out, we
- 46:49Speaker 8: played every single time.
- 46:50Speaker 2: We never don't cigarette good morning, Hi, how are you doing?
- 46:55Speaker 2: He Is there a song that?
- 46:57Speaker 22: Yeah, I'm not going to sing it. I heard a song.
- 47:01Speaker 22: I was really severn, so I listened to the radio
- 47:04Speaker 22: and I heard a song and there's got to be
- 47:06Speaker 22: something more. It was sugar Land.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Oh, sugar Land.
- 47:09Speaker 16: Yeah, there's got to be something.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:12Speaker 22: I was drinking a lot and I was really depressed
- 47:14Speaker 22: and I don't know that I wasn't going to kill
- 47:16Speaker 22: myself and I, you know, I needed something and I
- 47:18Speaker 22: heard that song.
- 47:25Speaker 2: They going back on tour. They just announced it. They're back.
- 47:30Speaker 22: Really yeah. I just said, there's got to be more
- 47:33Speaker 22: than this, you know.
- 47:34Speaker 14: And I was just kind of like it drinking.
- 47:39Speaker 2: So I'm glad.
- 47:42Speaker 9: Yeah, because.

- 48:11Speaker 14: It's called Banana, But I don't know if you've heard
- 48:13Speaker 14: of it.
- 48:15Speaker 12: No, don't put bananas in my butt, and.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I say Bana's number.

- 48:37Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 48:38Speaker 2: But all right, it's the pumpkins. Spice lattes are like
- 48:48Speaker 2: hitting now, right, you guys. Some people are like it's
- 48:52Speaker 2: too soon. Personally, I think the pumpkin stuff should be
- 48:56Speaker 2: available all year long. I don't know why. It's not
- 48:59Speaker 2: like I love the Jamba juice pumpkin smash.
- 49:02Speaker 8: That might be the best of all the pumpkin things
- 49:05Speaker 8: that the Jama juice smoothing.
- 49:06Speaker 2: So here is a question for pumpkin spice latte aficionados.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Do you care if your pumpkin spice latte contains actual pumpkin? No? No, peyton.
- 49:19Speaker 9: No, I don't mind.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Why are you so like?
- 49:23Speaker 10: I don't know because something's going on over here, But
- 49:25Speaker 10: you know, I don't mind. I feel like the people
- 49:27Speaker 10: that would care are the people that like those gourmet,
- 49:31Speaker 10: really hand crafted coffees.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Well, I have the four chains that don't use real
- 49:35Speaker 2: pumpkin cow Do you care?
- 49:37Speaker 18: No?
- 49:37Speaker 6: I think if it tastes good doesn't mean.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Let me go over this with you. Though Crispy Kreme
- 49:43Speaker 2: they do not use real pumpkin. They admit to use
- 49:45Speaker 2: something called pumpkin pie sauce, and there's no real pumpkin
- 49:49Speaker 2: pumpkin pie sauce.
- 49:51Speaker 9: McDonald's meg that gives you that pumpkin.
- 49:53Speaker 2: I exist the ingredients at McDonald's. They are listed on
- 49:56Speaker 2: the website. There's no mention of squash, just fruitose water
- 50:00Speaker 2: profileine glisau alongside caramel color and natural flavor yum profileine Glisauce.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Delicious Dutch Bros. Coffee according to Dutch Brothers that both
- 50:11Speaker 2: the standard sugar free syrups used for drinks come from Trani,
- 50:15Speaker 2: which don't contain any real pumpkin. That's okay, Duncan. Duncan
- 50:21Speaker 2: hasn't officially unveiled this year's pumpkin spice lineup, but in
- 50:24Speaker 2: previous years their pumpkin spice contained the flavors of pumpkin,
- 50:28Speaker 2: with no real pumpkin to be seen in the ingredient list.
- 50:31Speaker 2: So just so you know, Starbucks does add pumpkin puree
- 50:36Speaker 2: to their pumpkin spice lattes. It wasn't always that way.
- 50:38Speaker 2: The original recipe back in two thousand and three did
- 50:40Speaker 2: not include real pumpkin, but they added pumpkin in twenty fifteen.
- 50:44Speaker 2: To be fair. There's no pumpkin in the pumpkin Pie
- 50:47Speaker 2: spice either. It's in the McCormick Pumpkin Pie spice. It's cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg,
- 50:52Speaker 2: and clothes. So I wonder if pumpkin actually even tastes
- 50:55Speaker 2: like pumpkin. It does.
- 50:56Speaker 8: It tastes a little like pumpkin. Have you ever had it,
- 50:59Speaker 8: like just out of a can? Just take care it doesn't.
- 51:00Speaker 2: I used to. I wanted to chug it because I
- 51:02Speaker 2: love pumpkin. It doesn't really taste like much. It's almost
- 51:04Speaker 2: like we've been used and someone said pumpkins should taste
- 51:07Speaker 2: like this, and they added nutmeg and all that stuff, and.
- 51:09Speaker 8: It's like a bland sweet potato. Actually, yeah, just a
- 51:13Speaker 8: hint of pumpkins.
- 51:13Speaker 6: You're giving us like pumpkin pie flavor, I feel, yeah,
- 51:17Speaker 6: and then just calling it pumpkin totally.
- 51:19Speaker 2: I love pumpkin pie. Okay, we got a thousand bucks
- 51:22Speaker 2: of Patikey's money. You gotta get ten questions, right, what Laury?

- 53:00Speaker 2: talented people I've ever met. And I didn't even realize this.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Kyle wasn't here last time he was in a studio. Well,
- 53:05Speaker 2: that's right. I'm so excited for Kyle to meet this kid.
- 53:07Speaker 2: He is a finalist, He's gonna be on America's Got Talent.
- 53:09Speaker 2: He's leaving today. He's decided to pop by the studio
- 53:12Speaker 2: before the guy doesn't magic. He's unbelievable. Name is Gino?
- 53:16Speaker 2: Gino being here to talk about what's going on with
- 53:17Speaker 2: America's Got Talent? Do some magic. It's amazing. We'll get
- 53:21Speaker 2: to him after Dominic Fike. Okay, this is very exciting,
- 53:32Speaker 2: very excited we met Gino. Wasn't a month ago or
- 53:34Speaker 2: in June. You're on America's Got Talent. You're from here
- 53:38Speaker 2: and you are going when you're leaving today? Where is
- 53:42Speaker 2: it being filmed there in La Pasadena? Okay? And where
- 53:45Speaker 2: are we on the finalists.
- 53:46Speaker 21: And so so we just made it to the quarterfinals,
- 53:49Speaker 21: which is the first round of the live shows. It's
- 53:52Speaker 21: the top forty four in the competition. So there's four
- 53:55Speaker 21: rounds of the quarterfinals and then there's semifinals and finals.
- 53:59Speaker 2: And who are the judges for America's it is?
- 54:01Speaker 21: It's Howie Melby, Sophia Virgara and Simon.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Oh God for magic too.
- 54:08Speaker 21: Great group.
- 54:09Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, like how you mana Dell's gonna appreciate all
- 54:12Speaker 8: the the fancy like handwork and stuff that you do totally,
- 54:16Speaker 8: and and Simon like, if you impress him, then you're
- 54:19Speaker 8: good exactly.
- 54:20Speaker 21: He gave me the double thumbs up in my audition,
- 54:22Speaker 21: which was really cool.
- 54:24Speaker 6: Simon's pretty epic.
- 54:25Speaker 2: It was pretty epic.
- 54:26Speaker 21: Yeah, and you know, it's a it's a huge year
- 54:29Speaker 21: for magic. I think there's there's like five or six
- 54:32Speaker 21: magicians in the live shows, which doesn't happen very often. So, uh,
- 54:36Speaker 21: it's really really cool to see all the other magic
- 54:38Speaker 21: acts and all of us kind of are doing something different,
- 54:41Speaker 21: which is a lot of fun.
- 54:42Speaker 2: You know, you have definitely like a thing, you got
- 54:45Speaker 2: that X factor thing, Like there's a thing you have
- 54:48Speaker 2: a vibe. And when you came in here and did
- 54:50Speaker 2: magic for us, I mean I was freaking floored by
- 54:52Speaker 2: the stuff you do.
- 54:54Speaker 21: But you see, like inside my hat, I always, I always,
- 55:04Speaker 21: I have.
- 55:05Speaker 2: A background in magic. In your head. That's freaking nuts.
- 55:11Speaker 21: I always keep that in there just in case.
- 55:12Speaker 2: That is officially bad. Like I think I can figure
- 55:17Speaker 2: out the calculator trick. But I don't know how you
- 55:21Speaker 2: did that.
- 55:21Speaker 9: Was that just a coincidence or was that for real?
- 55:25Speaker 2: You know, I do have a background in magic.
- 55:29Speaker 8: How My wife was in here filling in for Kyle.
- 55:31Speaker 8: She grew up with a magic dad, toured all over
- 55:33Speaker 8: the world. Yeah, and she's like, his show will be epic.
- 55:36Speaker 8: She's like, I haven't seen somebody like him come along
- 55:39Speaker 8: in twenty years.
- 55:40Speaker 27: I'm so excited for your future, I know.
- 55:47Speaker 9: And what's really.
- 55:48Speaker 27: Cool is my dad started magic at age seven. He
- 55:51Speaker 27: has a two year jump on him.
- 55:52Speaker 2: I appreciate she got behind you too.
- 55:57Speaker 21: Well, thank you so much. That's really special for me
- 55:59Speaker 21: to hear. I mean, I been doing it my whole life,
- 56:01Speaker 21: so it's really this experience has been really fulfilling for me,
- 56:04Speaker 21: regardless of what happens, you know, I'm confident in myself,
- 56:07Speaker 21: but you never know what the voting. Everyone has to
- 56:10Speaker 21: vote in order to move me on in the competition.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Okay, so tomorrow it's live.
- 56:14Speaker 21: No, it's it's next week, August twenty fifth, and that's that's.
- 56:17Speaker 2: The live one. So that's we got to vote, yes, okay.
- 56:20Speaker 21: Yeah, and there's three ways to vote. You can vote
- 56:21Speaker 21: on the NBC website, the agt app or they're making
- 56:25Speaker 21: a TikTok post this year that you can actually comment
- 56:28Speaker 21: on to vote and you get ten votes per.
- 56:30Speaker 2: So, yeah, would you mind doing something because Kyle it
- 56:33Speaker 2: didn't experience.
- 56:35Speaker 21: Imag Yeah, okay, we're gonna try something very special with you. Okay,
- 56:38Speaker 21: you see, we're gonna test. Do you feel like you
- 56:40Speaker 21: have a pretty good imagination?
- 56:42Speaker 26: Yeah?
- 56:42Speaker 21: I would say so that's confident. I like, Okay, we're
- 56:46Speaker 21: gonna test your imagination here, Kyle. I want you to
- 56:48Speaker 21: imagine right here that there are four cards. Okay, No,
- 56:52Speaker 21: that's easy because there are four cards.
- 56:53Speaker 6: Okay, what am I actually imagine?
- 56:55Speaker 21: I want you to imagine that those four cards are
- 56:57Speaker 21: the four queens. Okay. Now, if I reachin invisibly and
- 57:01Speaker 21: took out two of the queens and I held them
- 57:02Speaker 21: in my hand. I want you to think, in your
- 57:05Speaker 21: imagination which two I took out. I'll give you a hint.
- 57:07Speaker 21: They're the same color. So they're either the red Queens
- 57:09Speaker 21: or the black Queens. Which two did I take out? Red?
- 57:12Speaker 21: The red Queens? That's correct. Think about that in your imagination.
- 57:15Speaker 21: The red Queen's right?
- 57:16Speaker 6: How could it be wrong?
- 57:16Speaker 23: It's my imagine, exactly right, exactly she creates.
- 57:21Speaker 21: If I have the red Queens here and I mix
- 57:23Speaker 21: them up, and I turned one the other way and
- 57:24Speaker 21: I put it back into the packet, facing face up.
- 57:28Speaker 21: Which queen did I just put back in? Was it
- 57:29Speaker 21: the hearts or the diamonds? You put the hearts in
- 57:32Speaker 21: the hearts? Think about this in your imagination, the Queen
- 57:36Speaker 21: of Hearts. You see, before I did anything, I turned
- 57:39Speaker 21: one card face up and you can see it's the
- 57:43Speaker 21: Queen of Hearts.
- 57:44Speaker 7: Now.
- 57:45Speaker 21: I wanted to make this better, though, because John Jay
- 57:47Speaker 21: has a background in magic, as he once said, yes,
- 57:50Speaker 21: and I didn't want you to think it was some
- 57:52Speaker 21: slight of hand trick. So instead, because you named the
- 57:54Speaker 21: Queen Arts, I was so confident I grabbed it from
- 57:56Speaker 21: a different deck of cards, just to prove and actually
- 57:59Speaker 21: better yet, because the Queen of Hearts was created in
- 58:01Speaker 21: your imagination. None of the other queen's matter. So I
- 58:03Speaker 21: didn't bring any of the other queens proving. You just
- 58:07Speaker 21: have a perfect imagination.
- 58:11Speaker 3: So good, Thank.
- 58:13Speaker 2: You, you are so good. Yeah right, crazy? That come
- 58:20Speaker 2: from the magic shop in Wisconsin or.
- 58:23Speaker 21: Not in Wisconsin. That was I learned it from Lance
- 58:26Speaker 21: Burton years ago.
- 58:27Speaker 2: It's amazing too. Yeah, awesome. I got to tell you, dude,
- 58:30Speaker 2: you are so incredibly talented. If you win America's Got Talent,
- 58:34Speaker 2: what do you get?
- 58:35Speaker 21: You get a million dollars and good notoriety.
- 58:40Speaker 2: You live, okay? At issue?
- 58:41Speaker 21: Yeah, I would think so, I mean, I would surely
- 58:44Speaker 21: take it.
- 58:45Speaker 8: Can you turn that into a magic show in Vegas
- 58:47Speaker 8: or something like that, a residency?
- 58:48Speaker 21: That's the I mean, I think I think a lot
- 58:50Speaker 21: of the people who produce the shows, like I think
- 58:52Speaker 21: Base Entertainment's the main producer. They look at a lot
- 58:55Speaker 21: of the A G t X shows.
- 58:57Speaker 2: SA Wakes, they turned that into a whole thing exactly right.
- 58:59Speaker 21: So that's that's kind of the hope. You don't have
- 59:02Speaker 21: to win, Yeah, you don't have to There's a lot
- 59:04Speaker 21: of them on the strip that didn't win.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Right, But I mean like, in my opinion, you've already won.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Like I think, thanks, you've got a name now, I
- 59:10Speaker 2: mean I think you're I think freaking fantastic.
- 59:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 59:12Speaker 21: My my plan was to just get the audition, like
- 59:14Speaker 21: I didn't really care about anything else. And the audition
- 59:16Speaker 21: turned out so good, so everything else is kind of
- 59:18Speaker 21: just the cherry on top.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Can you cut Kyle in half? Yeah?
- 59:22Speaker 21: Should we try?
- 59:24Speaker 2: Have you mastered that? Have you done that?
- 59:25Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 59:26Speaker 21: Well, like we said last time, I do a version
- 59:28Speaker 21: of it with my fiance, which is hilarious. It's this
- 59:31Speaker 21: whole dynamic because she once told me when we started dating,
- 59:35Speaker 21: she was like, you know, I will never ever don't
- 59:37Speaker 21: ever ask me to get in a box on stage
- 59:40Speaker 21: and and and try to do a trick with you.
- 59:43Speaker 21: And then I always say so, I'd like to bring
- 59:44Speaker 21: up my fiance and then we do. We do a
- 59:46Speaker 21: bunch of illusions together on stage. It's fantastic. Are you
- 59:49Speaker 21: familiar with this game that they play called three card
- 59:51Speaker 21: Monty on the street? You ever heard of this?
- 59:53Speaker 6: Not familiar?
- 59:54Speaker 2: Okay?
- 59:54Speaker 21: So three card Monti is a game that they use
- 59:56Speaker 21: to try to scam you out of your money. Okay,
- 59:58Speaker 21: do you have any money? I don't think I wouldn't
- 1:00:01Speaker 21: do it to you anyway, Kyle, that's okay, But I'll
- 1:00:03Speaker 21: show you what it looks like so you can see.
- 1:00:05Speaker 21: So it uses three cards, Okay, it uses a red
- 1:00:07Speaker 21: card like this queen here. Now, this card is the
- 1:00:10Speaker 21: money card. So all you have to do, Kyle is
- 1:00:11Speaker 21: follow the queen. Does that make sense?
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Right? Kyle?
- 1:00:14Speaker 21: Where's the queen? You tell me right there? Are you confident?
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:00:17Speaker 21: Yeah, okay?
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Perfect?
- 1:00:18Speaker 21: The only card yeah, well, well most of the time.
- 1:00:20Speaker 21: Because I'm a magician, you never know. You never know, right,
- 1:00:22Speaker 21: But here's how they get you. They had two cards
- 1:00:24Speaker 21: are distracted something like this, a nine and another nine.
- 1:00:27Speaker 21: So there's two nines. But that's how it gets the
- 1:00:29Speaker 21: name three card Monty is you could see now, I
- 1:00:31Speaker 21: want you to notice the two nines they're identical. Let's
- 1:00:33Speaker 21: just try to mess with you. You don't want to.
- 1:00:35Speaker 21: I'm just gonna drop that one there real quick. Anyway,
- 1:00:38Speaker 21: I'm gonna show you exactly how to do this. You
- 1:00:40Speaker 21: put your hand out like this for me. Fantastic. Watch
- 1:00:42Speaker 21: when I give you the queen, you're already following the
- 1:00:45Speaker 21: wrong card. Did you see this?
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: Wow?
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: So what's in my hand?
- 1:00:48Speaker 21: Turn it over? You could take a look. It's the line,
- 1:00:50Speaker 21: isn't that why? That's how fast it happens. We'll try
- 1:00:53Speaker 21: it again. Okay, Ready, nine in your hand this time, queen,
- 1:00:55Speaker 21: and nine in my hand. I want you to watch
- 1:00:57Speaker 21: the secret move. It looks like this. Watch ready, one
- 1:01:00Speaker 21: to see how quick turn it over? Turn it over? Yeah,
- 1:01:11Speaker 21: this is actually I'll make it easier for you to follow.
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:01:18Speaker 21: They would never do this, but I'm gonna make it easier.
- 1:01:20Speaker 21: Watch the queen. Okay, right now you can't play a
- 1:01:25Speaker 21: two card Monty, that's not the game. But we're left
- 1:01:27Speaker 21: to two cards.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:28Speaker 21: If I asked you, Kyle, where the queen was in
- 1:01:31Speaker 21: your pocket? That's what they say. See that's the hard part.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Run out of the room.
- 1:01:41Speaker 21: See here's the crazy because a lot of the time
- 1:01:44Speaker 21: people think that I'm just cheating, which is basically how
- 1:01:47Speaker 21: it works. You see a lot of the time I
- 1:01:48Speaker 21: don't even use any queens. I can't queen in the
- 1:01:52Speaker 21: pocket right here, Like you said, right now that you
- 1:01:55Speaker 21: know what to follow, I give you one more chance
- 1:01:57Speaker 21: to win all the money you Ready, Queen, goes in
- 1:01:59Speaker 21: the and nine goes in the pocket. This whole time,
- 1:02:02Speaker 21: I've been mixing the cards around. Kyle. You tell me
- 1:02:04Speaker 21: what card are you holding?
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: It should be the Queen.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:02:07Speaker 21: You got it right, because because if you want to
- 1:02:10Speaker 21: win in three card monte Kyle, it's only because I
- 1:02:12Speaker 21: want you to win, right, And if I want you
- 1:02:14Speaker 21: to lose, it's only because I want you to That's
- 1:02:18Speaker 21: how the card game works.
- 1:02:20Speaker 28: And that's why you never play cards.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: That's not a trick. He's magic. He's really magic, right,
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: It's wild.
- 1:02:37Speaker 21: That's what Simon says on a g T. He doesn't
- 1:02:38Speaker 21: believe that it's a trick. He believes magic exists, which
- 1:02:41Speaker 21: I think is great.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: That is great. You make me think that.
- 1:02:44Speaker 21: Yeah, you're definitely magical. Everyone you heard it here first.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: That's amazing.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: All right, So let's just go over g what's your instagram.
- 1:02:53Speaker 21: Geno Plaguer magic. That's g E n O P l
- 1:02:57Speaker 21: O E g e R Magic.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: And you are as you student. Yeah, you are in
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: the finals, quarter final, quarterfinals. So America's got talent.
- 1:03:05Speaker 21: And we need to be voted to go through.

- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: What's up, guys, Benson Boone and you're waking up with
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Well, all the accident attorneys a couple of cool things.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: So magician Gino Plager, who's going to be America's Got Talent,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: was just in here and he did a special magic
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: trick just for John Jay and Rich listeners. And we're
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: going to post it on our YouTube channel and all
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: our social media later today. So find us and follow

- 1:03:58Speaker 2: blew us all away. I don't get it. I don't
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: get I don't know how he did it, but.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: I also don't know how he knew how he did it.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, Wait till you see this video. It's unbelievable anyway,
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Kyle pateon what do you guys got for entertainment news?
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: So sadly, we are learning more details about Hayden Pannetiia's
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: sudden death at thirty six Dispatch audio from the nine
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: to one one like carriers to each other, mention both
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: cardiac arrest and this.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Spee overdose cprs in progress.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: So People magazine is reporting narcan was found at the
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: laft where she was found unresponsive, but her official cause
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: of depth still they say, is unknown because they want
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: to do an autopsy. The autopsy that they've already done.
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: The preliminary one found no signs of trauma or foul play.
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: There are also questions about her former boyfriend, Brian Hickerson.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: He was like kind of an on again off again
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: for like a few years, who traveled with her to
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: South Carolina the day before she passed away. Please say,
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: an acquaintance called nine one one, But they haven't said
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: who that person was. It could have been him, could
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: not have been hit. More details are emerging and it's
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: just just absolutely devas I heard.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: The boyfriend is a bad dude.
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I mean I think a day or two
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: before she passed away, he was in court trying to
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: get rid of some domestic violence and domestic abuse charges
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: lifted that were stemmed from things he did with Hayden.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: So yeah, not the best dude.
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: And just the Instagram everyone posting about her and just
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: sending all their love. It was just it broke my
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: heart because I know a lot of us For me,
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: like that's my childhood, you know. So it's just like
- 1:05:30Speaker 10: I feel like that that one really hit me yesterday
- 1:05:32Speaker 10: for sure, Drake, he hopped into Ella Langley's Instagram comments
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: in this crossover I think is what everyone kind of wants.
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: He literally commented, goateed and basically like complimenting her songwriting skills.
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: But it came right after.
- 1:05:45Speaker 10: Ella basically did like a little lip sync to one
- 1:05:49Speaker 10: of his throwback songs. So people are like, come on, Drake,
- 1:05:52Speaker 10: give us the country hip hop crossover that.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: We all you know?
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: Or are they already doing this is slowly.
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: Because she's pretty smart social definitely. This morning, the VMA's
- 1:06:05Speaker 10: nominations were announced, and Madonna is leading the way with
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: eleven nominations. Taylor Swift with nine, Ariana Grande with seven,
- 1:06:12Speaker 10: Sabrina Carpenter with seven as well. We have Bruno Mars,
- 1:06:15Speaker 10: Pink Panthers, Zara Larson with five nominations.
- 1:06:18Speaker 9: Up for Video of the Year. We have Ariana Grande.
- 1:06:20Speaker 10: Hate That I Made You Love Me, Bruno Mars, I
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: just might Madonna Confessions too. For Artists of the Year,
- 1:06:26Speaker 10: Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Madonna's Taylor Swift. Yes, Madonna has
- 1:06:32Speaker 10: made her way in and I am really my personally,
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: I'm excited to see who gets Song of the Year
- 1:06:37Speaker 10: because BTS swim. You have Ella Langley choosing Texas, I'm Tricks,
- 1:06:41Speaker 10: Golden Madonna and Sabrina Carpenters Bring your Love, Olivia Dean
- 1:06:44Speaker 10: Man I need Pink Panthers, and Zara Larson State Side
- 1:06:47Speaker 10: and Ray where's my Husband's Like?
- 1:06:49Speaker 9: That is a battle right now.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: If Madonna's gonna, she's probably gonna perform.
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: Nominations, Yeah she is.
- 1:06:56Speaker 10: She is all over here, But I I am pumped.
- 1:06:59Speaker 10: The VMA's will September twenty seventh at seven thirty pm Eastern.
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: Time, and Taylor Switt for a bunch of nominees. Of course,
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: everyone will be wondering if she's going to be there,
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: I know, wait and see. I don't know to see Taylor,
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: I know flesh Yeah, as a newlywed, though, I guess
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: her and Travis have a couple of non negotiable rules
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: that they put in place for themselves just to keep
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: their marriage healthy. So I guess, first and foremost, they.
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: Text every day.
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: They won't go ten days without seeing each other. That's
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: a non negotiable. And the non negotiable bedtime rule is,
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: even if they're apart, they do not go to sleep
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: without saying goodnight, like physically saying good night, not a
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: text good night, physically saying good night to each other
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: via like an actual phone call or FaceTime.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: That's there only like six weeks in, so they should
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: be talking every day.
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: No, totally, but I feel like that's gonna be a
- 1:07:48Speaker 10: lot more complicated for Taylor's Swift's schedule, Like football season's
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: gonna be hard for Trap to kind of make his way.
- 1:07:54Speaker 9: But I feel like the real sacrifices with her, I
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: know what.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: Right now, she's got plenty of time, I feel like,
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: so I think it's okay. But I like how they've
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: already communicated knowing that eventually their schedules are going to
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: take them apart from each other, and I kind of
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: think that that's really healthy instead of doing it along
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: the way, I mean, like something's not working, you know,
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: they've already mapped it out, which I think is very healthy.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: Harrison Ford isn't completely done with Indiana Jones at eighty
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: four years old. He is reprising the role for a
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: new disney World attraction, Animal Kingdom, and I'm.
- 1:08:26Speaker 29: Pleased to share that for the first time ever, I'm
- 1:08:29Speaker 29: the actual model of the Indiana Jones animatronic Fear of
- 1:08:33Speaker 29: Snakes included. I'm excited for you to see his next
- 1:08:38Speaker 29: epic venture, and I'm coming to Walt disney World soon.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I was so excited for a second because I thought
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: they were going to announce another movie. I know, true,
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: but the Rhyde's gonna be pretty sweet. If you go
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: to the ride of Disneyland, it's a guy that looks
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: like him is not right.
- 1:08:53Speaker 10: So that's basically what like Johnny Depp did with the
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: Pirates of Cribean, because when you go in that ride,
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: that is Johnny.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Because they used to not even have him there. Now
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: they put him there.
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: Yeah, and he should have been there all along, should
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: have been there all along Zendia and Tom Holland we
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: know they got married, and it was funny because there
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: were rumors that maybe they were engaged. And then Zindia's stylist,
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Law Roach was like, dude, they're already married.
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: We were like, whit whine, my.
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: Mind is blown, right, And he said that like when
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: that news broke, all of these AI videos of Zindeia's
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: wedding dress leaked, all of them, but he said that
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: her actual wedding dress was definitely more gorgeous than the
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: AI videos. So he just did this interview recently and
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: they said, okay, so since you said that about the
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: AI stuff, describe Zindia's wedding dress in just three words.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Better than AI.
- 1:09:45Speaker 19: Is the reason you're not being forthcoming because you're afraid
- 1:09:47Speaker 19: that she'll put you back in the hat again.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: No, I'm just how many times a year does she
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: let you out of the hat? You know, like two.
- 1:09:57Speaker 10: When this interview came out. That is law Rochin's I
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: like truly fangirl because ze way like that is my
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: kind of interview. She asks the uncomfortable questions. She makes
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: the interviewers feel so awkward. So if you have a
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: chance to go watch, it's so goad because law Roach
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: totally gives us the tea on Zendaia, on his fashion
- 1:10:14Speaker 10: choices and basically how he hand picks the people.
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: That he's styling, which I was obsessed with.
- 1:10:19Speaker 10: Okay, following it insane one hundred million dollar plus box
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: office run across the first stretch of the shows, Usher
- 1:10:25Speaker 10: and Chris Brown, they have extended their co headlining stadium run,
- 1:10:28Speaker 10: so they added eight brand new dates which is going
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: to basically take the entire production from fifty nine stops.
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: We're now adding.
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Colombia. To me, I don't know
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: if this is after Chris, like how they're planning on
- 1:10:41Speaker 10: doing this, that's how they're doing it. Yeah, fake Usher
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: however they're handling it. But yeah, tickets are open starting Monday.
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: Up next week.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Hey. You know how they say AI has taken all
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: these jobs?
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: Uh?
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: And I think about certain jobs that the AI can't take,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: like babysitter, plumber or something like that. I was like,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: can't really do magician AI? No, because if you sit
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: there with a computer AI and it does he goes
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: pick a card and you pick a card. It's gonna
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: go You pick this one like it's gonna know already.
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: How do you do that?
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Well, I'm the computer. You didn't see any move that
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: card segment. Jonah's brother tickets could be yours. You have

- 1:18:16Speaker 2: some coins and then they think they were just euros
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: or whatever. And then they keep digging and they find
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: literally gold bars. Oh I did see that in Belgium.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Amazing gold bars and ten million dollars. It was an
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: eighteen year old construction worker. So he tells the guys
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: on his crew, look at this. They bust out all
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: these gold coins and all these gold bars and they
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: go to the authorities, which I guess is the right
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: thing to do, and they said, so there's a law.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: They have five years they have to wait. If no
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: one claims it, they get it.
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: Oh, fo years, they got to wait five years.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: There's like five guys on the crew, so they have
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: to split ten million dollars in five unless you know,
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: politics get involved. They take the money. But when you
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: see the picture, it's like just like in the movies.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: It's like real gold bars and gold coins like you
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: would see in that parts of the Caribbean. Why would
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: sort of leave that behind in their the walls there
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: come back for it?
- 1:19:08Speaker 9: Probably?
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: It is so?
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: But now now aren't a million people going to come
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: forward and be like, that's my goal?
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess you're right, right?
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: How are you approve it? Thanks for finding that, you
- 1:19:18Speaker 6: know what, I'll give you a one gold bar and
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: I'll take the rest and then it's such.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: A fun story.
- 1:19:22Speaker 8: If you live in Belgium, it's time for a remodel
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: in your home too. I think you're right. Fun story anyway, Kyle,
- 1:19:27Speaker 8: what are other things we need to know today?
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: The Lakers sale has apparently turned into a full Bus
- 1:19:33Speaker 6: family fight. So five of Genie Bus's siblings voted to
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: sell the families remaining seventeen percent of the team to
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: Josh Kushner and Bob Biker. Now that was at the
- 1:19:43Speaker 6: price tag of twelve point five billion dollars, which is insane.
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: But Jeanie, she was the only sibling who didn't. She said, no,
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: I don't want to sell, and we're not selling. And
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: now she's challenging whether they can legally do it without
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: her approval. Wow, And there's Josh Cushier of Bob Biger
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: and they're like.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: It's so close, we just want to take So let's steep.
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: But the big issue for Jeanie is it selling that
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: steak could cost her enough ownership that she would no
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: longer remain the Laker's controlling owner, even though she'd previously
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: been expected to stay in control through twenty thirty. So
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: she is fighting for her right to run the Lakers.
- 1:20:21Speaker 10: Literally the same storyline of running points trying to sell
- 1:20:27Speaker 10: the team without her.
- 1:20:29Speaker 9: That's actually kind of crazy.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: I know, it's like, Reah, maybe this has happened a
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: few times. She's happening again.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: The toilet guy.
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. Yes, Meta is heading to court. There's
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: this huge court case over whether Facebook and Instagram were
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: intentionally designed to keep kids hooked. So four states are
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: accusing the company of using addictive features to keep young
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: people scrolling and are seeking potentially enormous penalties. So Meta
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: they strongly deny the allegations. They're like, listen, we spent
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: years adding protections for teens and we should not be
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: held liable. Now this could be bigger than just the
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: money at stake. So depending on what happens in this
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: court case, Meta could ultimately be forced to change everything
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: about how Instagram and Facebook actually work.
- 1:21:17Speaker 8: You figure that there's a few things working against them,
- 1:21:19Speaker 8: they're gonna be found guilty because they've made a lot
- 1:21:21Speaker 8: of money, and if you've made a lot of money,
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: you always have to pay too. The whole model is
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: to keep us addicted. How are they supposed to say
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: it's not like that.
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: I think it'll be hard for them to say, We've
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: spent years putting protections in for teens after people complained,
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: after really bad things happened. So I don't necessarily know
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: if you can actually argue that it wasn't designed to
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: do that. This is one I think we're gonna have
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: to keep a really close eye on because I feel
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: like I can potentially change the entire algorithm. Speaking of technology,
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: smart glasses are becoming enough of a thing that businesses
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: are now making a lot of rules about them that
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: right now, this is just overseas in the UK, but
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: there are hundreds of bars and stuff there that are
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: telling pep people you can't even bring your glasses in.
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: They're ban they're banning smart classes, and I actually think
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: it's kind of smart, especially around alcohol, because people do
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: stupid things anyways without the glasses. Some restaurants they're just
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: they're saying leave them at the door. Some restaurant's just
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: saying just don't even bring them in, like keep them
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: in your purse or whatever. It just makes me wonder
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: how long before we start seeing those rules and quite
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: possibly laws here in the United States, because I mean,
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: technically they're spy glasses, you guys, they're literally spyglasses before
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: are they legal? And that's three things you need to know.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: There was a TV show in the nineties that I
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: used to watch all the time. I loved it. The
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: show ended, the person went on to do things and
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: then became very controversial and then went away. It's Rosi o'
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: donald and she filled in for Jimmy Kimmel last night,
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: And when I saw I was like, oh, let me
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: just take a look. And I gotta tell you if
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: because when she's like when she's like nice and not
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: angry and fighting and all that stuff, like she was
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: the best. And I had this clip of her last
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: night and it just brought back the same like, Oh,
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Rosi o' donald you know what I mean.
- 1:23:00Speaker 19: I haven't sat behind a desk on TV in almost
- 1:23:03Speaker 19: thirty years, and a lot has changed since the nineties.
- 1:23:07Speaker 19: Well back then, there was a war in the Middle East,
- 1:23:10Speaker 19: climate change was ravaging our planet. We had a president
- 1:23:14Speaker 19: who was embroiled in scandals. But today everything is so chill,
- 1:23:25Speaker 19: wrote a bottle
