- 1:59Speaker 1: have these memories that come with every fall, the things
- 2:03Speaker 1: that really will cement That, wow, it's incredible to be alive.
- 2:07Speaker 1: And all of those experiences pair so perfectly with a
- 2:09Speaker 1: high noon. Francis, I'm a tequila man myself.
- 2:12Speaker 4: You are a tequila man. I'm a vodka guy. I'm
- 2:14Speaker 4: a purist. I'm an original. I've been riding the vodka
- 2:18Speaker 4: train from high noon since the jump.
- 2:21Speaker 1: See, I zag a little bit.
- 2:23Speaker 4: You do. You do zag.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And that's a tequila seltzer, but both of them, no malt.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Both of them... real fruit juice sparkling water natural flavors.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Yeah they don't leave you that taste in your mouth
- 2:33Speaker 4: that goes makes you go.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah malt it's not just my mouth malt makes me
- 2:37Speaker 1: i feel it in my bones and i dislike it
- 2:40Speaker 1: but luckily with high noons i don't even have to
- 2:41Speaker 1: be in the malt game no.
- 2:42Speaker 4: We're not uh guys the best thing going right now

- 3:14Speaker 1: get into the show.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Alrighty, welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Today it is Monday, September 7th, Labor Day. We are
- 3:27Speaker 5: here working. We don't take days off personally, but what
- 3:32Speaker 5: other people choose to do with their time is up
- 3:34Speaker 5: to them.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Totally.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Every person from top to bottom not being here is
- 3:37Speaker 1: like their decision.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's up to them.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Not a soul in the office.
- 3:44Speaker 1: It's like I am legend in the streets of New
- 3:46Speaker 1: York right now.
- 3:47Speaker 5: And hey, we have the day off. We don't really
- 3:52Speaker 5: feel like we need the day off having the greatest
- 3:56Speaker 5: job in the world.
- 3:57Speaker 1: We're kind of the troops in this situation.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Exactly, yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Where it's like they can thank us for our service. Yeah, yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Lights are on.
- 4:03Speaker 1: The fact that we stepped up and kept the lights on.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Keeping them on.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Like we're jumping a car.
- 4:08Speaker 4: John Wooden famously said, the man in the office on
- 4:12Speaker 4: Labor Day is the one who will really, he doesn't
- 4:16Speaker 4: do it for credit. No, never.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Never.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And they'll never understand what it feels like to be
- 4:21Speaker 1: the man in the office.
- 4:22Speaker 4: The man in the office.
- 4:23Speaker 5: The man in the office.
- 4:23Speaker 4: The man in the office.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 4:25Speaker 1: They could never understand.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Tom Brady actually had that speech taped up on his locker. Oh, yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 1: The man in the office.
- 4:33Speaker 4: The man in the office. Yeah, yeah. When Belichick wasn't there,
- 4:36Speaker 4: he'd go sit in Belichick's chair in his office.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 4:39Speaker 4: On off days. I didn't know that. And just look
- 4:42Speaker 4: at plays and stuff like that.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's interesting. And that's why Belichick didn't make the Hall
- 4:46Speaker 1: of Fame. And Brady did.
- 4:47Speaker 4: That's right.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Is Brady in the Hall of Fame yet, or he's
- 4:49Speaker 1: not eligible? I know Belichick didn't make it on his first.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Or no, I guess Brady's in the Patriots Hall of Fame.
- 4:55Speaker 4: That's what it was.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Which is bigger.
- 4:56Speaker 4: See, obviously.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Which is more important. Which is more of an honor.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Legend.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah, we made it in. No one else did, but
- 5:05Speaker 1: we're not counting.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Wait a minute. What are we doing here? Speaking of champions....
- 5:12Speaker 5: Well, we should say before we start, this episode's probably
- 5:15Speaker 5: going to be a majority about Surviving Barstool. So if
- 5:19Speaker 5: you haven't watched it yet, watch it.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Yeah, don't get mad at us for spoiling Surviving Barstool.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Spoilers after right now.
- 5:25Speaker 5: We are spoiling everything. We're going to spoil. It's all
- 5:30Speaker 5: going to be spoiled.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it's spoiled. Listen, I just want to say really quickly. Okay.
- 5:37Speaker 4: We are among greatness. Oh, yeah. This is, right here,
- 5:43Speaker 4: season five champion surviving Barstool Adam Ferron, ladies and gentlemen.
- 5:50Speaker 4: We're going to give it up. We're going to give
- 5:52Speaker 4: it up for him. That's so nice. Winner, $ 250, 000. Did
- 5:55Speaker 4: it by himself against all the odds. I don't know
- 6:00Speaker 4: how you did it, man. I really don't. I watched
- 6:02Speaker 4: the whole thing. I don't understand how you didn't play
- 6:06Speaker 4: your idol. There's so much to say. I don't know
- 6:09Speaker 4: where to begin. All I can say is that this
- 6:12Speaker 4: podcast is a podcast of champions. Right.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Internet Invitational.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Internet Invitational.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Champion.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Surviving Barstool Season 5.
- 6:21Speaker 1: JFL. No.
- 6:23Speaker 4: No. Was it Major? Oh, Major 3. You were there.
- 6:29Speaker 4: I forgot about that. At Major 3. Yeah. Where was
- 6:32Speaker 4: that again?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Atlanta.
- 6:34Speaker 4: How much money did you win for that?
- 6:35Speaker 5: Nothing, but the team won 40K, I think. Okay.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:39Speaker 4: It's not 250. You didn't win any of it? It's
- 6:41Speaker 4: not 250, but.
- 6:41Speaker 5: It's 40 at least.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But that means that as a show, we're over.
- 6:46Speaker 5: I won when I signed my contract with Barstool Sports.
- 6:49Speaker 5: That's a win for me. I've already won.
- 6:52Speaker 4: You sure you don't have some kind of gigantic.
- 6:55Speaker 5: I'm already a champion.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Achievement on the scale of my head. Every day I
- 6:59Speaker 4: walk through. Invitational, $ 350, 000. Surviving Barstool, $ 250, 000. You don't have
- 7:04Speaker 4: anything on that?
- 7:04Speaker 5: Every day where I walk through those glass doors where
- 7:08Speaker 5: Dan was dragged through the hallway by an Uber Eats driver,
- 7:12Speaker 5: I'm reminded that I'm a champion.
- 7:14Speaker 1: As soon as you curl around that hallway where Devlin
- 7:16Speaker 1: got pushed by Brandon Walker, it's like Notre Dame.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Exactly. You know what, Harry?
- 7:22Speaker 5: You guys might have different definitions of champion.
- 7:25Speaker 4: It's coming.
- 7:26Speaker 5: I am a champion.
- 7:27Speaker 4: I was going to give you shit, but I know
- 7:28Speaker 4: for a fact that you are going to outpace us all.
- 7:31Speaker 4: You're going to outachieve us all.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That's why we have to get our shots in now
- 7:36Speaker 1: while he's weak. It's like beating a four-year-old at basketball
- 7:39Speaker 1: that you know is going to grow into an NBA player.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Yeah, you're going to do something big, man. I've known
- 7:44Speaker 4: that for a long time, and I've been trying to
- 7:46Speaker 4: coax it out of you.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Why do you think we put up with you? It's
- 7:51Speaker 1: an investment. It's like you're like baby Gronk.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Baby Gronk's looking good, to be honest.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Baby Gronk. And it's like all the people that didn't
- 7:59Speaker 1: make fun of baby Gronk, he went for four touchdowns
- 8:02Speaker 1: and 250 yards in his high school debut as a freshman. Seriously?
- 8:05Speaker 5: He might actually go to the NFL. He looks sick.
- 8:09Speaker 1: He literally looks like, and he runs like Gronk, too.
- 8:11Speaker 4: It'd be pretty funny if he had the last laugh
- 8:13Speaker 4: and he was like, Dad, am I allowed to laugh now? Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 5: If I'm him, I'm getting rid of the father. Because
- 8:20Speaker 5: his dad's taking all of his money, for sure.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah, his dad is just a ventriloquist with his hand
- 8:26Speaker 4: through his head being like, say this, say this.
- 8:28Speaker 5: He might be like a genius, though. Like, we might
- 8:30Speaker 5: look at him like.
- 8:31Speaker 1: LeVar Ball.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Or it's going to be like how, like, LeMelo Ball,
- 8:36Speaker 1: all the kids know him as Mello instead of Carmelo Anthony. Like,
- 8:39Speaker 1: all the kids are just going to be like, wait,
- 8:41Speaker 1: there was a Gronk before him? Yeah, yeah. There was
- 8:43Speaker 1: another Gronk?
- 8:44Speaker 5: Old man Gronk?
- 8:46Speaker 1: Old man Gronk? That's a legend. I only know baby Gronk. Champion.
- 8:53Speaker 1: We got a champion here.
- 8:54Speaker 5: Come on.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Honestly, it will probably be the last thing that I
- 8:57Speaker 1: ever win in my life.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Get out of here.
- 9:00Speaker 1: It has to be the last. It's my last win.
- 9:02Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 9:04Speaker 1: At this competition that I'll win, what other competition am
- 9:08Speaker 1: I going to enter, especially on a large scale, that
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'll win?
- 9:11Speaker 4: You never know with this place. They could come up
- 9:13Speaker 4: with some weird thing.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, you'll probably do it again next year.
- 9:17Speaker 1: The same competition? Yeah. Well, it will be impossible to
- 9:20Speaker 1: win next year.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Why?
- 9:21Speaker 5: Because they'll want you out? Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 4: They'll get them out early.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they'll get me out early. The fact that I
- 9:25Speaker 1: was able to sneak through to the end of this one,
- 9:28Speaker 1: but it's all, I mean, with something like this, it's
- 9:30Speaker 1: very luck-based. It's all like where the chips fall and
- 9:34Speaker 1: like who's in front of you and how it all falls.
- 9:38Speaker 1: It's completely based on the circumstances.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I think you got as unlucky as you could have
- 9:43Speaker 4: and sort of survived by the skin of your teeth.
- 9:47Speaker 5: I would say it's mostly luck.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 1: No, I'm kidding. Definitely is a lot of luck.
- 9:51Speaker 5: No, I don't think it is. I think it's probably
- 9:53Speaker 5: some luck, but I think it's mostly how you play.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you played you played the best uh
- 10:00Speaker 4: that's nice you'd have to argue it that you played
- 10:02Speaker 4: the best which i don't even think it was close
- 10:05Speaker 4: no no.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Shade i think dana did our.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Brothers in jersey.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Dana uh won four challenges yeah but like everyone said
- 10:15Speaker 1: like Challenges don't matter.
- 10:16Speaker 5: It doesn't matter. Yeah.
- 10:18Speaker 4: It's almost like not having won challenges means it's that
- 10:22Speaker 4: much harder for you to get through.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So then Marty played better than me because I only
- 10:26Speaker 1: won two challenges.
- 10:28Speaker 4: And he didn't win any?
- 10:29Speaker 1: He didn't even win any challenges.
- 10:31Speaker 5: So then he didn't win. He didn't play better. I mean,
- 10:34Speaker 5: winning the challenges is a thing, but you got to
- 10:36Speaker 5: have other stuff on top of it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:39Speaker 5: It's kind of just a sweetener.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a lot of sneaking. Honestly, I was
- 10:44Speaker 1: more uncomfortable having won than I was playing the game.
- 10:48Speaker 1: As you're going through the game, I'm.
- 10:51Speaker 5: Like, I'm fucking killing it.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm fucking roasting all these people. It's almost overbearing and
- 10:56Speaker 1: obnoxious watching it back, knowing that I did win. But
- 10:59Speaker 1: then when it actually happens, it's almost like, what am
- 11:01Speaker 1: I going to scream in Marty and Dana's face?
- 11:04Speaker 5: Fucking pussies!
- 11:06Speaker 4: You handled it with so much class.
- 11:08Speaker 5: They've never done that ending before though, right?
- 11:11Speaker 4: What?
- 11:11Speaker 5: That's never happened in the ending where like, well, first
- 11:13Speaker 5: of all, usually it's like a week after the finale
- 11:16Speaker 5: and then you find out who won. But by which
- 11:20Speaker 5: point everyone knows. Yeah, but it's usually not like, that
- 11:23Speaker 5: was unique where you win and then you sit back
- 11:26Speaker 5: down and then there was like, 15 more minutes of
- 11:29Speaker 5: conversation a rage code yeah yeah which was pretty fun
- 11:33Speaker 5: like that was great i thought that was great i
- 11:36Speaker 5: actually thought i mean there's there's so much to say
- 11:38Speaker 5: about this and i'm excited i'm really excited please i
- 11:43Speaker 5: didn't mean to interrupt you oh no i don't i
- 11:44Speaker 5: don't have much i mean i mean i have a
- 11:46Speaker 5: lot but i don't have.
- 11:47Speaker 4: At what point when they were reading the votes did
- 11:50Speaker 4: you say i got.
- 11:52Speaker 1: This i think that uh i thought that i was
- 11:55Speaker 1: gonna win before i sat down at the tribal that's
- 11:58Speaker 1: why I like when I hit that last shot against Glennie,
- 12:01Speaker 1: that's what I was like, Oh, like that was my
- 12:03Speaker 1: like moment of like victory.
- 12:05Speaker 4: You're going to win.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And I was like, I just need to stay out
- 12:08Speaker 1: of my way. And that's why I like there were,
- 12:10Speaker 1: they cut down my speech. They cut down a lot
- 12:12Speaker 1: of speeches. Um, but they cut down my speech and
- 12:15Speaker 1: I think I had a couple more like jokes in there,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but I wasn't joke heavy at all. I like, it
- 12:20Speaker 1: was intentional. I was like, if I try to be
- 12:22Speaker 1: like very funny, like how you were on most dangerous
- 12:24Speaker 1: game show, I'll like lose it. How you did on
- 12:27Speaker 1: most dangerous game show. How everyone was like, he's too funny.
- 12:30Speaker 1: He's a threat.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I just wanted to be right down the middle, give
- 12:33Speaker 1: like a very even speech.
- 12:34Speaker 4: It was convincing.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Just be like right to the point.
- 12:37Speaker 4: You clearly convinced the jury because it sounded like some
- 12:41Speaker 4: of them didn't have their minds made up and were
- 12:43Speaker 4: sold on that all by you. I guess one question
- 12:48Speaker 4: I have, I have so many questions. But my first
- 12:50Speaker 4: question for you, I was always looking for like angles.
- 12:53Speaker 4: And whenever I've done these things, I'm always looking for
- 12:55Speaker 4: ways to manipulate the games or the challenges.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Was there any part of you that considered eating all
- 13:02Speaker 4: 10 worms at once and then just having unlimited balls
- 13:06Speaker 4: going forward?
- 13:07Speaker 1: I think that the way they made it seem was
- 13:10Speaker 1: that you could do it on like the first like
- 13:13Speaker 1: they're like, well, what if it only takes three worms
- 13:15Speaker 1: and you hit your first three shots?
- 13:16Speaker 4: They did say that. So they made it seem that way.
- 13:19Speaker 4: But like after you missed like three in a row,
- 13:21Speaker 4: I would have just I think I would have just
- 13:23Speaker 4: gone up. closed my eyes and like chugged 10 worms.
- 13:27Speaker 5: So i'm gonna i already told you guys i had
- 13:29Speaker 5: to i'd skip that i couldn't watch that like as
- 13:32Speaker 5: soon as they pulled out the worm because you texted
- 13:36Speaker 5: like you obviously so the episode came out comes out
- 13:38Speaker 5: today we're recording today we wanted to get ahead of
- 13:41Speaker 5: it roan sent us like a link to the early
- 13:44Speaker 5: episode release and not early we just have the file
- 13:47Speaker 5: And I.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Posted it on Reddit.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Yeah, of course. Yeah, I uploaded it everywhere. Live leak everywhere.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 5: But you texted and you were like, like, because Francis
- 13:56Speaker 5: texted was like, I just finished watching it. And then
- 13:59Speaker 5: you texted and you were like, I just got past
- 14:01Speaker 5: the worm part. And then the first challenge happened. And
- 14:06Speaker 5: I was like, I wonder what the worm thing is. Like,
- 14:09Speaker 5: I'm hoping it's not what I think it is.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 14:12Speaker 5: And then it was exactly what I thought it was.
- 14:14Speaker 1: But worse. It was like those worms were worse. They
- 14:17Speaker 1: were blue, fluorescent, glowing, pulsing worms.
- 14:21Speaker 4: They looked like candy worms.
- 14:23Speaker 1: They said that they were bred for this show, which
- 14:25Speaker 1: is actually the most depressing. They're like bred in Asia
- 14:29Speaker 1: for the show. Yeah. Which is like, I felt terrible
- 14:32Speaker 1: for the worms.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Not even a real survivor.
- 14:33Speaker 5: No.
- 14:34Speaker 1: What the fuck? You got bred for the fucking off-brand version?
- 14:38Speaker 4: No.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Of Survivor? You can't even go to Fiji to be eaten?
- 14:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 1: It's a terrible existence for those worms. And they were
- 14:45Speaker 1: fucking gross.
- 14:46Speaker 4: What was the taste of them?
- 14:48Speaker 1: Very earthy. I was just dry heaving the whole time.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It was earthy and juicy and stringy and rubbery.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Yeah, the texture would have been the problem for me.
- 14:59Speaker 1: The texture was terrible. I'm dry heaving the entire time.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I mean, they looked so... unbelievably plump.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And juicy yeah they were really they're the worms from
- 15:09Speaker 1: remember in the lion king when he goes to meet
- 15:12Speaker 1: up with timon and.
- 15:13Speaker 5: Poomba yeah it was those that's exactly it was just
- 15:16Speaker 5: like these thick ass glowing fucking carolina panthers blue yeah
- 15:21Speaker 5: worms oh my god yeah i had to fast forward
- 15:25Speaker 5: that i would luckily i knew like it was you
- 15:29Speaker 5: and like once i found out it was going to
- 15:30Speaker 5: be you and just you and glennie I was like, okay, well,
- 15:33Speaker 5: I know Roan makes it to top three, obviously, because
- 15:36Speaker 5: we know you won.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 5: So I was like, I think I can just get
- 15:40Speaker 5: past this. And then I come back in, and you
- 15:42Speaker 5: got a knee brace on.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I was biting into that. They were exploding all over Glennie.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Explain the knee thing. You've got to explain the knee thing.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So during that challenge, I tore my meniscus. Yeah. During
- 15:54Speaker 1: that challenge, running back and forth, it was just like, gink.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And I just felt a little click, and it was bad.
- 16:02Speaker 1: And I felt another click and it was bad. But
- 16:05Speaker 1: I was so zoned in that I just was like
- 16:08Speaker 1: playing through it. Like I didn't know what it was
- 16:11Speaker 1: or like exactly. You don't know what the feeling is,
- 16:14Speaker 1: but you just feel like something destabilized inside of you.
- 16:17Speaker 1: And you're like, oh, that's bad. And then after the challenge,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I sat down in a very low seat. Have you seen,
- 16:26Speaker 1: you haven't seen this video?
- 16:27Speaker 4: No, you never showed this to us.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Um, it's as, uh, I guess, I guess sound up
- 16:35Speaker 1: or we could put it in the episode. Oh my God.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Not even kidding.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 16:44Speaker 5: I mean, I heard it.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Happen in that challenge.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Oh, dude. Oh, my God, man.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And so that's when it went from a torn meniscus
- 16:53Speaker 1: to a bucket handle tear.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Where it completely ripped off the bone and was flipped
- 16:57Speaker 1: over inside of me.
- 16:57Speaker 5: That was so loud.
- 16:59Speaker 1: So loud. It sounded like a sequoia snapping.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Boy, oh, boy.
- 17:03Speaker 1: It's like a foul sound. It literally sounds like when
- 17:06Speaker 1: you hear a tree slowly falling over in a thunderstorm.
- 17:09Speaker 4: It's like someone applying a slap bracelet.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It was fucking terrible. And they, I mean, the irony
- 17:15Speaker 1: is that Marty pretended to be in a wheelchair for
- 17:18Speaker 1: the entire week. And then for the final tribal, they're like, Hey,
- 17:22Speaker 1: like we can roll you out in a wheelchair. And
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was like, fuck no, bro. Don't play me. Don't
- 17:27Speaker 1: make me fucking go out.
- 17:28Speaker 5: You're like Kobe.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, let me take the last free throw.
- 17:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Did you mention that you'd torn your meniscus to the jury?
- 17:36Speaker 1: I didn't, I didn't know it was a torn meniscus
- 17:38Speaker 1: until days later. So I didn't know what it was.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I knew I couldn't walk. I mean, my walk through
- 17:44Speaker 1: the airport after the fact was fucking the slowest. There
- 17:48Speaker 1: was 85-year-old women motoring past me, smoking me. You'll get better, sonny.
- 17:56Speaker 1: It was so slow and embarrassing. And United Terminal at O'Hare,
- 18:01Speaker 1: fucking to zoo.
- 18:02Speaker 4: It was brutal. Roan.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Boss station?
- 18:06Speaker 4: One thing that totally confused me, and I guess I
- 18:09Speaker 4: just was stupid about this, was that you went into
- 18:11Speaker 4: Dave's office and, like, picked up a scroll. But was
- 18:14Speaker 4: that all just fake so that you could tell the joke? So, no.
- 18:17Speaker 1: So, there were actually a couple, like, jokes. Like, I
- 18:20Speaker 1: fucked around in this episode a decent amount. Like, pretending, like,
- 18:23Speaker 1: telling them all I was vegan, I feel like, was
- 18:25Speaker 1: a power play. And then the... Before the worms. I mean,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you have to do some bullshit like that. And then...
- 18:33Speaker 1: I found that scroll. They kind of did a little
- 18:36Speaker 1: bit of movie magic. I found that scroll in the
- 18:39Speaker 1: same place that I found my original, but they were
- 18:42Speaker 1: doing a pickup shot with that one.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But with the but i had kept the tube from
- 18:48Speaker 1: the actual one i found and so that the when
- 18:50Speaker 1: i fuck with everybody and i said glennie boss has
- 18:53Speaker 1: to tell the twerk blowjob story again with with that
- 18:55Speaker 1: scroll i had uh like a piece of paper from
- 18:59Speaker 1: one of my fake idols from the last time that
- 19:02Speaker 1: i did it last year and so i just wrote
- 19:04Speaker 1: it longhand on that because i brought some stuff to
- 19:06Speaker 1: make fake idols just in case i i got it
- 19:08Speaker 1: in a pinch and i never had to use any
- 19:10Speaker 1: of it so i like wrote it longhand on the scroll.
- 19:12Speaker 1: That's why, like, my shirt changes color.
- 19:14Speaker 4: I see.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But this was the night before that I went in.
- 19:16Speaker 1: It's just like hanging with the boys.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Hey, it's great. I mean.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It was great times. Oh, man.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Wow. I gotta say. I mean.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It was thunderous. It was... My.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Favorite part of the worm... I mean, the brief part
- 19:29Speaker 5: that I saw of the worm thing was just Dana
- 19:31Speaker 5: kept on going to Marty being like, can you eat?
- 19:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 5: Can you eat and it's like i mean yeah everyone
- 19:37Speaker 5: can eat these are i think the live worms are
- 19:40Speaker 5: the problem yeah can you eat can you eat.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Bro i i i can't help but wonder if uh
- 19:48Speaker 4: dana had saved um glenny balls to the final yeah.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I would have had a harder time against marty for
- 19:54Speaker 1: sure let's.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Say that marty let's say that marty wins against you
- 19:58Speaker 4: does that mean dana wins the show a lot of
- 20:01Speaker 4: people were.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Saying that they would have voted for glenny in that
- 20:04Speaker 1: circumstance because everyone was sick of marty and dana for
- 20:07Speaker 1: whatever reason But I don't believe that.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I don't think they would have.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I think they would have voted for.
- 20:11Speaker 4: They said that in the jury. Like, Pat was like,
- 20:13Speaker 4: we had all decided we were going to vote for
- 20:15Speaker 4: Glennie out of spite.
- 20:16Speaker 1: But that's like the.
- 20:17Speaker 4: But that's crazy.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You know what that's like, though, to be like, we're
- 20:19Speaker 1: going to spite the game and vote for Dave. Like, fucking,
- 20:22Speaker 1: you know. And then in the moment.
- 20:23Speaker 4: People do that. People did do that.
- 20:25Speaker 1: But you voted for.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I never said I was going to do that.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Oh, you didn't?
- 20:28Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I feel like we all were like, yeah, we're voting
- 20:31Speaker 1: for Dave. Like, fuck it.
- 20:33Speaker 4: That was like the Will Compton crowd. Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Those fucking scumbags. But the I'm joking. I yeah, I
- 20:45Speaker 1: don't I don't know really where to address it either.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I thought that winning that challenge was like if I
- 20:53Speaker 1: didn't win that, I would have killed myself in front
- 20:55Speaker 1: of everybody. It would have been like really like.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I thought you were going to run away with it.
- 21:00Speaker 4: It just seemed like whenever Glennie Balls hit one of
- 21:02Speaker 4: the pillars down, it was blind luck.
- 21:06Speaker 1: He was shooting very softly, and I was shooting fucking saucers.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you were lining it up.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Like, mine were going super fast.
- 21:12Speaker 5: How many did you eat?
- 21:14Speaker 4: Ten.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Oh, my God. That is... Did you have, like, crazy
- 21:19Speaker 5: shits after, or, like.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I wanted that. I wanted that night.
- 21:22Speaker 5: How does that go through the body?
- 21:24Speaker 4: Harry eats ten... worms a night they're just gummy worms
- 21:29Speaker 4: yeah they're just trolling and then wakes up in the
- 21:31Speaker 4: morning he's like I've never eaten worms and not had
- 21:33Speaker 4: the shits.
- 21:34Speaker 5: I mean it was genuinely like like that was so fucked.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Anytime I've watched Survivor or any Fear Factor I'm like
- 21:42Speaker 1: I would never and could never do that Any other show,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I would have tapped out. If it was early on,
- 21:47Speaker 1: I would have been like, I can't do this.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, but you said it. You were like, I want.
- 21:51Speaker 4: To do it.
- 21:51Speaker 1: It was do or die. It was like I had
- 21:53Speaker 1: to do that or win $ 250, 000. There was no... It was.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Literally like you had no choice.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I had no choice. You had to eat the worms.
- 22:00Speaker 1: And so you could kind of tell, but I was like...
- 22:04Speaker 1: grunting i was like a bull about to be like
- 22:07Speaker 1: let out i was.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Like fucking firing myself up just trying to like giving
- 22:12Speaker 6: you guys some salt or like maybe some tabasco just anything.
- 22:16Speaker 1: To hell glennie had some on a belt that he
- 22:18Speaker 1: pulled out like a fucking 10 he ate all 10
- 22:25Speaker 1: glennie was acting like he was like oh dude they're
- 22:27Speaker 1: moving like he like he wasn't going to be able
- 22:28Speaker 1: to do it glennie was done with his 10 worms
- 22:31Speaker 1: maybe when i was four or five worms really he
- 22:34Speaker 1: was eating them so fast he was slurping them down
- 22:36Speaker 1: i think that's the play it's just a clean swallow
- 22:39Speaker 1: i was trying to i was trying to do that
- 22:40Speaker 1: as well like it was impossible you couldn't just swallow
- 22:42Speaker 1: them without like chomping them that's why they were exploding
- 22:46Speaker 1: in his face I would never do some shit like that.
- 22:49Speaker 4: That is so.
- 22:50Speaker 5: I had to eat the... What did I eat? I
- 22:51Speaker 5: ate a scorpion.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:53Speaker 5: And then a water bug. The water bug I didn't
- 22:56Speaker 5: eat though.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah. I've had like a bite of one of those
- 22:59Speaker 1: water bugs. The water bugs are worse than the worms.
- 23:01Speaker 5: No shot. The water bug was pretty bad.
- 23:03Speaker 1: But it was so dense.
- 23:05Speaker 5: It's so dense. it's like a fig newton.
- 23:08Speaker 1: It's this big this wide burnt to a crisp or
- 23:14Speaker 1: it's not even burnt to a you would hope it would.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Be yeah it's like the scorpion was the scorpion was
- 23:19Speaker 5: like eating a french fry yeah it just tasted like
- 23:21Speaker 5: shit it was just charred yeah the water.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Bugs are fucking disgusting.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Water bugs are basically cockroaches.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Right but like triple the size they're like this.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Big oh my god dude.
- 23:31Speaker 1: With big big long wings those are disgusting i think
- 23:34Speaker 1: these this is maybe better i guess i would have done.
- 23:36Speaker 5: That so like you like i'm because i i like
- 23:39Speaker 5: i saw the scene where you were like i've eaten
- 23:40Speaker 5: a lot of weird shit at barstool like lower in
- 23:42Speaker 5: the bar most dangerous games i don't think any of
- 23:45Speaker 5: that was like even on the same level as the
- 23:49Speaker 5: worms Yeah. Like eating a dead scorpion. I would eat
- 23:53Speaker 5: a hundred dead scorpions.
- 23:55Speaker 4: They serve scorpions on the street food in a number
- 23:59Speaker 4: of countries.
- 23:59Speaker 1: On a skewer.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Like I would have eaten the... most amount of scorpions
- 24:06Speaker 5: anyone's ever had before i ate one of those worms.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I felt bad for the worms like i didn't want
- 24:12Speaker 1: to fucking i don't want to take their life.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Was there an option to kill before eating like what
- 24:18Speaker 5: if you were to just.
- 24:19Speaker 1: You know with what punch them flat yeah What do
- 24:23Speaker 1: you mean?
- 24:23Speaker 4: Dejuice them?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Dejuice them?
- 24:25Speaker 1: And just like squeeze it out?
- 24:26Speaker 4: Yeah, like a go-gurt.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Rung them?
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Like a go-gurt?
- 24:29Speaker 5: Yeah. Just have the skin.
- 24:30Speaker 4: The exoskeleton? Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It was kind of like a go-gurt if you had
- 24:33Speaker 1: to eat the plastic too. I never considered that. I
- 24:37Speaker 1: feel like the teeth are the best thing to, like,
- 24:39Speaker 1: nothing else in the body is built to fucking destroy
- 24:42Speaker 1: these things like that.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Punching a bowl of worms?
- 24:46Speaker 5: That would actually probably have been the play.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Punch the whole bowl?
- 24:49Speaker 5: Yeah, get them all.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But then I helped Glennie. i can't separate his words
- 24:53Speaker 1: true i needed glennie to punch them for me dude it.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Was close i mean it was it got down to
- 25:00Speaker 4: two two yeah it was two two i can't believe
- 25:03Speaker 4: it were you were you nervous you said.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Terrified yeah i was very because like on the last
- 25:08Speaker 1: one like we i had a chance to hit a
- 25:09Speaker 1: shot and i missed it and it literally is something
- 25:11Speaker 1: that i've thought about for the entire time and then
- 25:14Speaker 1: when i lost that second to last challenge against dana
- 25:16Speaker 1: um I was like, I've blown it again. And part
- 25:20Speaker 1: of me started to accept the negativity. Started to accept
- 25:23Speaker 1: that I could have lost this thing at the final four.
- 25:27Speaker 4: But that was where... When Dana won that challenge, then
- 25:30Speaker 4: that's when Brandon got voted out?
- 25:33Speaker 1: No, the challenge at the beginning of the finale.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Oh.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Where we're running back and forth with the board.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Yeah, the puzzle one.
- 25:38Speaker 1: That puzzle was brutal.
- 25:39Speaker 5: That's a lot better than the worms.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, at least I could just force
- 25:44Speaker 1: my way through the worms. There was no like... brute
- 25:47Speaker 1: strengthening your way.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Through this puzzle yeah true i mean you kind of
- 25:50Speaker 5: you kind of blew that lead i did blow the
- 25:52Speaker 5: lead yeah you got smoked yeah well i mean not
- 25:54Speaker 5: smoked you got smoked i fumbled i fumbled crossing the
- 25:58Speaker 5: goal line though you were you had the you had
- 26:00Speaker 5: the yips on that last on number one yeah on
- 26:03Speaker 5: the one part of the.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Puzzle or i was i was calm i just couldn't
- 26:05Speaker 1: do it it wasn't even like a mental.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Thing externally but internally getting the ball all the way
- 26:11Speaker 5: all the way to that last thing was impossible Yeah,
- 26:14Speaker 5: if your name's Roan.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I would have loved to see your Michael J. Fox
- 26:17Speaker 1: hands on that board. You would have fucking been shaking
- 26:20Speaker 1: that thing like a pinball machine.
- 26:21Speaker 5: It didn't look impossible for Glennie or Dana.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I think Glennie finished that. Well, regardless, I was going
- 26:28Speaker 1: through it really quickly, flying through it. I even could
- 26:32Speaker 1: tell that there was going to be a worm challenge
- 26:35Speaker 1: because Jeff said something, but we didn't have our phones.
- 26:38Speaker 1: You saw the bug guy? Yeah, Randy.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Yeah, Randy appears.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I saw Randy the bug guy. There was a guy
- 26:46Speaker 1: on Most Dangerous Game Show that was like, he was
- 26:48Speaker 1: the bug guy. And he like pulled up in a
- 26:50Speaker 1: station wagon and had like a, just like a full
- 26:54Speaker 1: station wagon full of cages of different like bugs that
- 26:56Speaker 1: he would like pull out.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Like snakes and shit. It was so hot.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Just, yeah, like a Tupperware container full of snakes. But
- 27:05Speaker 1: Jeff said something about like being able to like it's
- 27:08Speaker 1: going to be like a tastier challenge or some, one
- 27:11Speaker 1: of those like clue words. And so I knew we
- 27:12Speaker 1: were going to be eating something. So I was like
- 27:14Speaker 1: looking up things to do to like, eat beforehand like
- 27:18Speaker 1: trying to get Pepto Bismol from the PAs and shit
- 27:21Speaker 1: like that well there.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Was a famous chapter of Encyclopedia Brown where.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Yes you know that one yes of course.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Where his competitor it was like they had a friend
- 27:32Speaker 4: who was competing in the.
- 27:33Speaker 6: Eating challenge it was like a pie eating contest he
- 27:34Speaker 6: was eating mustard or maybe mustard something like that and
- 27:38Speaker 6: the other guy the competitor was sucking on ice cubes
- 27:41Speaker 6: all day which froze his taste buds.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Allegedly I don't know if the science of that.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Is true I feel like I've heard that because there's
- 27:49Speaker 5: that Workaholics episode where they try to eat like a
- 27:52Speaker 5: super big pizza to win free pizza for the year
- 27:53Speaker 5: and they burn their.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Tongues with spoons.
- 27:57Speaker 5: They put spoons on like a fire until they're red
- 28:00Speaker 5: hot and then they burn their tongues.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yeah. All of Workaholics is actually based on the Encyclopedia
- 28:06Speaker 1: Brown books.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it is.
- 28:07Speaker 1: They lifted all their challenges from the Encyclopedia Brown books.
- 28:12Speaker 1: But I was looking up shit and none of it helped.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I was just dry even after the fact.
- 28:16Speaker 5: And what did you ever get close to a wet heave?
- 28:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I would have aimed my wet heave
- 28:27Speaker 1: at Glennie I would have launched my weave at Glennie
- 28:33Speaker 1: if it came down.
- 28:34Speaker 5: To it I think you gotta go back in to
- 28:35Speaker 5: the worm bowl.
- 28:36Speaker 1: What do you mean? throw up on his shit?
- 28:39Speaker 5: Yeah that's true sabotage was there any sort of votes at.
- 28:42Speaker 1: The end if you do that?
- 28:44Speaker 5: They were loving it.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Even like Tommy who was hating me at that time
- 28:49Speaker 1: he was cracking a smile as I was fucking.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Him dude tommy was so angry he kept cutting to
- 28:56Speaker 4: him and and even at like super funny moments he
- 29:01Speaker 4: just was stone-faced he was so mad he was so
- 29:04Speaker 4: mad watching all of that.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah i i thought i i think i miscalculated how
- 29:09Speaker 1: angry he would be i didn't think he would be
- 29:12Speaker 1: that angry i know you get angry after the fact.
- 29:14Speaker 4: I didn't everyone's saying he's a jolly good fellow for
- 29:19Speaker 4: me based on how well i took getting voted out
- 29:23Speaker 4: i was like that was awesome you guys are great
- 29:25Speaker 4: well done yeah re-orchestrated it i was like props yeah
- 29:30Speaker 4: and i voted for her to win.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Yeah that was actually very uh mature she got me
- 29:34Speaker 1: out too and i voted for her to win.
- 29:36Speaker 4: And i by the way i got totally fucked yeah
- 29:39Speaker 4: my whole thing was filled with controversy but mostly from
- 29:42Speaker 4: like the the idol shit but like in the end
- 29:45Speaker 4: i don't know It just I knew that was going
- 29:48Speaker 4: to happen.
- 29:49Speaker 5: I guess I do get it, though, because like it
- 29:51Speaker 5: is Tommy's thing, you know.
- 29:53Speaker 4: But he's lost other times.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 5: It's like when you lost to him in the.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That drove me crazy. That drove me
- 30:02Speaker 4: absolutely crazy. And I regretted the way that I did.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:06Speaker 4: I didn't feel any any sort of like.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Wow. Catharsis from that. No, no. Because he said he
- 30:14Speaker 4: felt cathartic.
- 30:14Speaker 1: He was like, oh, that was cathartic. They also cut
- 30:16Speaker 1: a lot out of his speech.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Like what?
- 30:19Speaker 1: He was just talking about more stuff about how I
- 30:21Speaker 1: was a bad guy. Yeah. He was just listing more
- 30:24Speaker 1: reasons why I was a bad guy.
- 30:27Speaker 5: That's crazy to me. I mean, if we want to
- 30:31Speaker 5: get into it, talk about the thing. So he's saying
- 30:35Speaker 5: you're a bad guy. Which obviously you're not a bad guy.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 30:39Speaker 5: But when they cut to the clip of you guys
- 30:42Speaker 5: lying about him not getting voted out, I was like,
- 30:47Speaker 5: all right.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That was pretty fucked up. The way that Marty laughed. Yeah.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Like it looked like a movie scene.
- 30:55Speaker 4: But what can you do? There comes a point where
- 30:59Speaker 4: you have to lie to someone.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Because if they had been like, yeah, we're coming for you.
- 31:04Speaker 4: He would have tried to figure something out. He would
- 31:05Speaker 4: have orchestrated some way out of it.
- 31:07Speaker 5: It's like i mean that was cool i was ice
- 31:09Speaker 5: cold oh yeah ice cold.
- 31:10Speaker 1: What was the what was the scene in uh was
- 31:13Speaker 1: it is it goodfellas where like uh isn't the guy's
- 31:15Speaker 1: named tommy from goodfellas where they like and it's the
- 31:19Speaker 1: day that he's gonna get made oh yeah yeah and
- 31:21Speaker 1: he walks in and he thinks he's about to get
- 31:23Speaker 1: made yeah that's how you guys did him and then
- 31:25Speaker 1: you and then he got whacked right there it's like
- 31:28Speaker 1: that's how you have to do it like you have
- 31:30Speaker 1: to like Make it seem like it's a normal, perfect day.
- 31:33Speaker 1: And then you whack him.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I told Rhea in line into the tribal council, I
- 31:39Speaker 4: have my idol. I'm going to play it.
- 31:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:41Speaker 4: And she goes, don't play it. You'll waste it. And
- 31:44Speaker 4: then they voted me out. I had my own saving grace. Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Lifeline right there.
- 31:50Speaker 5: It's a ruthless game. I mean, it's definitely a ruthless game.
- 31:53Speaker 5: I don't knock any lying or manipulation at all.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what it is. You should know what you're
- 32:00Speaker 4: signing up for. Yeah. And yet, for some reason, everybody
- 32:05Speaker 4: who does this fucking game says, it's all part of
- 32:08Speaker 4: the game. It's just a game. It's all a game
- 32:11Speaker 4: until it happens to them. And then all of a
- 32:13Speaker 4: sudden it's, Real life. I thought I knew that person. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 4: They were at my wedding. Yeah. We've done content together.
- 32:23Speaker 4: That's a friend.
- 32:24Speaker 5: Have you guys spoke? Are you guys back on good
- 32:27Speaker 5: terms now or is it still on site?
- 32:30Speaker 1: I heard you had to move your desk. I think
- 32:34Speaker 1: that– I don't think that it's completely good.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I don't think it's completely good.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Is it better? Wow.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I mean, from my end, it's better.
- 32:46Speaker 5: Like, have you guys spoke?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Have there been, like, real conversations?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yes, but he's still upset about it. I, from my side,
- 32:55Speaker 1: choose to still be his friend. And, like, the ball
- 32:58Speaker 1: is now in his court. And, like, he can either
- 33:00Speaker 1: be my friend or not be my friend. I'm not
- 33:03Speaker 1: going to beg him to be my friend or, like,
- 33:05Speaker 1: apologize for playing the game. I'd still like to be
- 33:08Speaker 1: friends with him. But also, like, I can't... It's not
- 33:11Speaker 1: really even my business how he, like, sees me or, like...
- 33:15Speaker 1: You know, like, his opinion... You ever hear that phrase
- 33:17Speaker 1: where it's like, other people's opinions aren't your... It's no business.
- 33:20Speaker 1: It's no business, right. So it's like, I'm going to
- 33:22Speaker 1: continue to try and, like, be his friend. I think
- 33:24Speaker 1: I've done, like, plenty of things that were friendly towards him, but, like,
- 33:29Speaker 1: he obviously was hurt by how I played this game.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And it's his... If he's hurt, like, that's a valid emotion,
- 33:35Speaker 1: but also, like, I was playing the game to win,
- 33:38Speaker 1: and I won.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Was he pissed when you won?
- 33:42Speaker 1: For sure. Dude, he didn't... He didn't want to win
- 33:46Speaker 1: the dozen because we were on the same team. Oh, wow.
- 33:49Speaker 1: We were on the same dozen team. We made it
- 33:52Speaker 1: to the championship game. And after the game, the first
- 33:55Speaker 1: thing he said to me was that it was like
- 33:57Speaker 1: a silver lining that I wasn't able to win that
- 34:00Speaker 1: as well.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Damn. I mean, he doesn't play around about it.
- 34:05Speaker 1: He doesn't play around about it. And I don't think
- 34:07Speaker 1: it diminishes any of his accomplishments. if I'm able to
- 34:12Speaker 1: win this I think that this is a game of
- 34:16Speaker 1: lying for sure and you have to lie and I
- 34:18Speaker 1: think that like you have to expect lying and I
- 34:21Speaker 1: think part of the game is discerning when people are
- 34:23Speaker 1: lying to you and I think that I was like
- 34:26Speaker 1: I was tenacious about finding out if people were lying
- 34:29Speaker 1: when they were talking to me. And I thought I
- 34:31Speaker 1: did a good job of that. And he wasn't able
- 34:33Speaker 1: to tell that, but like, that doesn't affect how I
- 34:36Speaker 1: see him going forward. Um, I know that like Nick
- 34:40Speaker 1: Teraney and Nikki smokes had like a, uh, like they
- 34:44Speaker 1: weren't talking to each other. Like, I don't think it's
- 34:46Speaker 1: quite that level, but it's definitely not good.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Yeah. They're, they're back. They're friends again.
- 34:52Speaker 1: They are.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Yeah. Cause, uh, yeah.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Cause remember we were, We were getting ready for fantasy
- 34:56Speaker 5: and Nick suggested adding smokes if we were going to
- 35:00Speaker 5: do 12 men.
- 35:00Speaker 1: That is a nice olive branch. At first, Tommy kicked
- 35:04Speaker 1: me out of the fantasy football league that I'm in. Really?
- 35:07Speaker 1: But then he let me back into the fantasy football
- 35:08Speaker 1: league that I'm in with his friends.
- 35:09Speaker 5: You're in another fantasy league with Tommy?
- 35:12Speaker 1: Dude, he said that he wouldn't be in your league
- 35:14Speaker 1: because he didn't want to be in any more leagues.
- 35:16Speaker 1: And then he was in the New York office league
- 35:20Speaker 1: with Glennie Balls.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Wow. Yeah. yeah he left me and.
- 35:24Speaker 1: It's because it's probably because because of you yeah.
- 35:27Speaker 5: That's crazy he doesn't even want to like why why
- 35:30Speaker 5: not hash it out like what if you guys have
- 35:31Speaker 5: a matchup like.
- 35:32Speaker 1: We hash we tried to hash it out that night
- 35:34Speaker 1: and since then it just says like he'll like argue
- 35:36Speaker 1: in the office and kind of like he'll hit me
- 35:38Speaker 1: with like come like you're a smart guy like figure
- 35:41Speaker 1: it out like oh like shit like that where it's.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Like you guys might have to just fight once that knee's.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Ready no no he's got it.
- 35:49Speaker 4: What a fight that would be no offense around Just
- 35:54Speaker 4: girl paw. Speed bagging each other's faces. I actually think
- 35:59Speaker 4: you'd take that fight. It's okay.
- 36:01Speaker 5: Your running on the puzzle was, I was impressed. What
- 36:07Speaker 5: does that mean? I was impressed by your form. I
- 36:10Speaker 5: expected it to be much worse.
- 36:12Speaker 1: What was my form?
- 36:13Speaker 5: Just standard running, standard jogging.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess so.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Well coordinated.
- 36:17Speaker 4: Well, he's in shape.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Yeah, but he always talks about how uncoordinated he is.
- 36:22Speaker 1: That's literally running. That's not even coordination.
- 36:25Speaker 5: You should see me run.
- 36:26Speaker 1: No, it's not that bad.
- 36:27Speaker 4: No one has seen you run in 30 years. No, no.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Basketball.
- 36:32Speaker 5: Yeah, true. But that's how I run. It's all no control.
- 36:36Speaker 1: But he would run with like vans on or like
- 36:41Speaker 1: Chuck Taylors. It would sound like my knee slapping every time.
- 36:43Speaker 4: But throw a pair of ice skates on this guy.
- 36:45Speaker 4: He skates with the wind.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Come on now.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Mystery Alaska over here. Come on now. Crossovers. Yeah.
- 36:51Speaker 5: A lot of guys don't know about the backwards crossover.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Backwards crossover.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Looks awesome.
- 36:55Speaker 4: It does look gorgeous.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 5: I was a master of it.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 5: But, you know, it's a conversation for another day.
- 37:02Speaker 4: So, you know, look, we all have moments at this
- 37:06Speaker 4: place where we don't react the way that we would
- 37:08Speaker 4: want to. For example, when I lost the Wunderlich to Tommy,
- 37:13Speaker 4: I was incredibly angry and like came off horribly in
- 37:17Speaker 4: that moment. And I regretted that. It was pathetic of me.
- 37:21Speaker 4: What I don't understand is that Tommy reacted that way
- 37:25Speaker 4: and he stands by it. He's not trying to fix
- 37:29Speaker 4: things with you. Nick told me he was like, I
- 37:32Speaker 4: regret that I reacted that way towards Nikki smokes. I'm
- 37:35Speaker 4: going to look horribly.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:37Speaker 5: Cause no one wants it to come out and then
- 37:38Speaker 5: have them. That's why I do feel like they shouldn't
- 37:42Speaker 5: cut down those speeches.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I agree. Well, there was like, Yeah, I wish they
- 37:47Speaker 1: had kept his entire speech because then it would just
- 37:49Speaker 1: like it almost left me like like you don't understand
- 37:53Speaker 1: the depths of it or like the full alchemy of
- 37:57Speaker 1: the relationship unless you let him say everything that he
- 38:00Speaker 1: said in the show and like keep it in the show. Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 1: it doesn't make like when he was like, oh, that
- 38:05Speaker 1: was quick. I think it was like he was being
- 38:07Speaker 1: sarcastic because like he kind of went on.
- 38:09Speaker 5: How long was his actual speech?
- 38:12Speaker 1: A little bit longer. Um, I'm not sure.
- 38:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Any big things that he, they specifically cut out like
- 38:18Speaker 5: a moment where people were like, Whoa, he was.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Talking about like personal. They was talking about like the
- 38:23Speaker 1: KFC diss track. And like, he was like, why did
- 38:26Speaker 1: you cut me at like six? Like I would have
- 38:29Speaker 1: been fine if you cut me at five, but like
- 38:31Speaker 1: why at six? And I was like, what is the dip?
- 38:34Speaker 1: What's the difference?
- 38:35Speaker 5: And, uh, was, would you say this is the most
- 38:38Speaker 5: emotionally invested surviving that we've had? Like that most of
- 38:43Speaker 5: the people got into it?
- 38:44Speaker 1: It's pretty up there, especially for a season where everybody,
- 38:47Speaker 1: like going into the finale. I mean, I don't know
- 38:49Speaker 1: what the reaction to the finale is because it hasn't
- 38:52Speaker 1: happened yet. But to me, I thought that the finale
- 38:54Speaker 1: was like good on multiple levels. It was personal. Like
- 38:58Speaker 1: there was like comfort behind stuff. Oh, it was unbelievable.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Multiple challenges. Like I thought it almost... I mean, for
- 39:02Speaker 1: anybody that complained about the season, like, save the season.
- 39:05Speaker 1: But everyone's like, pregame alliances. Like, I wasn't in the
- 39:08Speaker 1: finale with anybody that I had pregame alliances with. And
- 39:11Speaker 1: the one person, like, I had a pregame alliance with Tommy,
- 39:14Speaker 1: and I smoked him. Yeah, you smoked him. Like, I didn't. Like,
- 39:17Speaker 1: everyone's like, pregame alliances ruin the game. It's like, how?
- 39:21Speaker 4: By the way, I just remembered that I, in Most
- 39:24Speaker 4: Dangerous Game Show, had a very scathing speech about Rudy.
- 39:28Speaker 4: But again, it's important to note that, like, the second
- 39:30Speaker 4: we cut cameras, I went up to him and was like,
- 39:32Speaker 4: by the way, I don't have any issue with you. Yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 4: that's totally. And he was like, oh, thank God. Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:38Speaker 4: You guys squashed that quick. It was just like me.
- 39:41Speaker 4: I was like, God, I don't feel any of this.
- 39:42Speaker 4: But like and Pat was like, you got to do it. Yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 4: I was like, all right. Yeah. And then immediately didn't care. Yeah.
- 39:50Speaker 1: So the after party was at a good night, John boy.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And I think that they put us all at a
- 39:55Speaker 1: hotel across the street from good night, John boy.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Oh, weren't you guys at like a cool hotel?
- 39:59Speaker 1: It was a cool hotel. It was like no boo
- 40:01Speaker 1: or some shit.
- 40:01Speaker 5: Wasn't something filmed at the hotel?
- 40:03Speaker 1: I don't know about that, but it was like a
- 40:06Speaker 1: nice hotel right across from good night, John boy, whatever
- 40:08Speaker 1: is close to that. And at the end of the night, um, Glennie, uh,
- 40:13Speaker 1: came up to me and, uh, and tommy and was
- 40:17Speaker 1: like because i tried to talk to tommy at the
- 40:19Speaker 1: after party i was like let's let's settle this like
- 40:21Speaker 1: let's get this all out in the ocean open and
- 40:23Speaker 1: we like went back and.
- 40:24Speaker 4: Forth actually like your other way better yeah let's get
- 40:26Speaker 4: this all in the ocean send it out to sea.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That would have been nice we should have put it
- 40:30Speaker 1: all out in the ocean and it kind of like
- 40:34Speaker 1: let the tide take it felt like it was being
- 40:35Speaker 1: resolved and then like if then it just like was
- 40:39Speaker 1: like wasn't resolved And then we were kind of standing
- 40:43Speaker 1: out front of John Boy and Glennie was like, let's
- 40:46Speaker 1: go back to the hotel and complain, which I thought
- 40:48Speaker 1: was like a really nice sentiment. And so the two
- 40:50Speaker 1: of them came back up to my hotel room and
- 40:53Speaker 1: they had little bottles of like Casa Azul and we
- 40:55Speaker 1: like poured up some, some nice tequila. And like, it's
- 41:00Speaker 1: really nice. Glennie was like, you know, Glennie was to
- 41:03Speaker 1: his credit, like being very like circumspect about it. And like,
- 41:07Speaker 1: Tommy was like, kind of like hammering it home and
- 41:09Speaker 1: being like, don't you like see how, And I was like,
- 41:12Speaker 1: I do see, but this is the game and that's
- 41:14Speaker 1: how I was playing it. And at one point towards
- 41:16Speaker 1: the end, Glennie was like, You're being kind of a faggot, Tommy.
- 41:23Speaker 1: That was funny.
- 41:24Speaker 4: You know, I think that one of my issues is that,
- 41:28Speaker 4: and this is to Tommy's credit, he is the guy.
- 41:33Speaker 5: If there were.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Anybody on earth that I would expect to get it
- 41:38Speaker 4: and not have that reaction, it's Tommy.
- 41:41Speaker 5: Yeah, that is why it's surprising.
- 41:41Speaker 1: That was part of my calculus. of like being like, okay, well,
- 41:45Speaker 1: this is somebody who will be able to understand this.
- 41:47Speaker 4: It's, it's so baffling to me, uh, because he wrote
- 41:53Speaker 4: the book. He is so many layers deep and levels deep.
- 41:58Speaker 4: And for some reason it did seem like this season,
- 42:01Speaker 4: he did decide to play differently and played more like
- 42:06Speaker 4: morally and honestly and like true to friendships, I guess.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Well, at one point also in the season, he said,
- 42:12Speaker 1: I'm going to, my way of playing this game this
- 42:14Speaker 1: season is going to be manipulating personal friendships, is exactly
- 42:17Speaker 1: how he said it. And so like, okay, once you've
- 42:20Speaker 1: said that in a confessional, like you can't be mad
- 42:22Speaker 1: at me for anything that I've done because that's exactly
- 42:25Speaker 1: what you were trying to do. The fact that you're
- 42:27Speaker 1: still carrying this personal friendship thing against me is like,
- 42:31Speaker 1: that was your game plan. So you can't be mad
- 42:34Speaker 1: at me for like, What, having a similar game plan?
- 42:37Speaker 5: Do you think if when you were in that room with... Well,
- 42:42Speaker 5: who was it? Marty and Glennie or Marty and Dana
- 42:44Speaker 5: and Tommy? When he asked if it was him.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Probably all of us.
- 42:50Speaker 5: Do you think if you guys were to say, like,
- 42:52Speaker 5: it's you, you're done, do you think he would have
- 42:55Speaker 5: had a better reaction?
- 42:58Speaker 1: Maybe, but... that like to take the risk it was
- 43:01Speaker 1: like yeah i didn't want to give him like a
- 43:03Speaker 1: wiggle room to like try and get out of it
- 43:05Speaker 1: and try and like.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Go out find a idol yeah find an idol.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Or like go like try and scheme some other people
- 43:10Speaker 1: or find like another way to like backdoor it there's
- 43:13Speaker 1: also like at the ring of fire and this is
- 43:17Speaker 1: this is probably actually two inside baseball to get into
- 43:20Speaker 1: um but at the ring of fire he he started
- 43:22Speaker 1: talking about he um He tried to tell Dana that
- 43:27Speaker 1: I was gunning for him when he knew that that
- 43:29Speaker 1: plan wasn't going to happen. I got up and they
- 43:34Speaker 1: sat us all down to vote. And I said, wait,
- 43:36Speaker 1: we don't know what the plan is. Can we have
- 43:38Speaker 1: two more minutes to production? And they didn't keep that
- 43:40Speaker 1: in the show for some reason. And when we first
- 43:42Speaker 1: sat down, Tommy hadn't talked to me and he was
- 43:45Speaker 1: acting like he was just going to go along with
- 43:47Speaker 1: the plan and vote out Dana. But in reality, he
- 43:50Speaker 1: was going to go against the plan, tell Dana that
- 43:52Speaker 1: I was gunning for him and betray me and my trust.
- 43:56Speaker 1: And I found that out before he could get me out.
- 43:59Speaker 1: And I got him out because he was trying to
- 44:01Speaker 1: betray me. It's very that's like very inside. No, I mean,
- 44:04Speaker 1: that makes total sense. I watched all of that. At
- 44:08Speaker 1: some point, like I couldn't go along with plans with him.
- 44:12Speaker 1: But I mean, that's also.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Dude, Tommy, you know what? Look. The fact that he
- 44:18Speaker 4: said you were a bad person is what really bothers me.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Because first of all, I think you're one of the
- 44:25Speaker 4: better people that works at this company. And I would
- 44:28Speaker 4: stand on this, like what you've done for me in
- 44:30Speaker 4: my life, it goes so far beyond work, whatever. It's
- 44:35Speaker 4: just like, again, small things, helping me move out of
- 44:39Speaker 4: my apartment when I was like getting divorced my life
- 44:42Speaker 4: was falling apart just like just an incredibly good person.
- 44:46Speaker 1: That's nice of you to say but if i have
- 44:47Speaker 1: to start arguing for why i'm a good person i'm
- 44:50Speaker 1: probably a bad.
- 44:50Speaker 4: But this is why i'm doing it on your behalf i'll.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Say i i mean sass do you have anything to
- 44:55Speaker 1: say about me being a good person maybe like an
- 44:57Speaker 1: anecdotal evidence of me i have.
- 44:59Speaker 5: More things to say about you being a bad guy
- 45:02Speaker 5: than a good guy what the fuck i mean if
- 45:05Speaker 5: i'm being honest i was watching you know there's a
- 45:08Speaker 5: like i was watching the episode A lot of talk
- 45:10Speaker 5: about you being a bad guy. And in my head,
- 45:12Speaker 5: I'm like, Ron's not a bad guy. That's crazy. And
- 45:14Speaker 5: then I was thinking about it for a minute. And
- 45:19Speaker 5: I was remembering a conversation that Ron and I had
- 45:21Speaker 5: last week where he told me not to draft quarterbacks
- 45:26Speaker 5: in fantasy early.
- 45:28Speaker 4: I remember hearing you say that.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Because you can get good quarterbacks for high value later
- 45:34Speaker 5: in the draft. And then we had our draft and
- 45:38Speaker 5: Roan picked a quarterback second overall. His second overall pick.
- 45:45Speaker 1: This is a two-quarterback league, and you were asking me
- 45:48Speaker 1: about a one-quarterback league.
- 45:50Speaker 5: I mean, that was, I felt like he took my
- 45:53Speaker 5: heart out of my body and crushed it.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Dude, you're a Jameer Gibbs super fan, and you started
- 45:59Speaker 1: a fantasy league and gave yourself the first overall pick.
- 46:02Speaker 5: I did not give myself the first overall pick.
- 46:05Speaker 1: You're a bad guy.
- 46:06Speaker 5: I didn't give myself the first overall pick. I want
- 46:08Speaker 5: to make that very clear. It was a randomized order.
- 46:11Speaker 5: I ended up with the first pick.
- 46:12Speaker 4: I can feel this kind of getting away from us
- 46:14Speaker 4: pretty quickly here. I understand. I think the two of
- 46:16Speaker 4: you should get a hotel room and talk.
- 46:20Speaker 1: And complain. I thought that was so nice by Glennie. Like,
- 46:24Speaker 1: let's go upstairs and complain for a little bit. And
- 46:26Speaker 1: it was nice.
- 46:27Speaker 5: He did take it like a champ.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Glennie was like, I know people online are like, Glennie
- 46:31Speaker 1: doesn't work here. Glennie was like the in-house Mr. Congeniality
- 46:36Speaker 1: MVP of the week where being around him was like
- 46:39Speaker 1: so fun and funny. That's how you know he's paid.
- 46:41Speaker 5: What? That's how you know he's making money.
- 46:43Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 46:44Speaker 5: Just the way that he's able to compose himself.
- 46:46Speaker 4: That's amazing.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 46:47Speaker 4: That's paid.
- 46:47Speaker 1: He lost 250 and he'd have been batting eyelash.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:52Speaker 5: But no, the way that he handled getting eliminated from
- 46:54Speaker 5: the worm thing, I was like pretty surprised.
- 46:56Speaker 1: He was like, he said, what can you do?
- 46:57Speaker 5: Yeah. What are you going to do? And then he
- 46:59Speaker 5: said to Marty, I don't like you.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he was pretty funny. Glennie was so funny. And
- 47:05Speaker 1: like people have their opinions of him. But I don't
- 47:09Speaker 1: like from somebody that if you were there hanging out
- 47:11Speaker 1: with Glennie, you would have had a blast listening to
- 47:13Speaker 1: like the stories that he told. And he got shit
- 47:15Speaker 1: faced every night. It was up till three in the morning,
- 47:17Speaker 1: just like walking around, like telling stories, ordering chicken. I
- 47:21Speaker 1: got closer to Marty during the week. Dana was awesome.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Brandon Walker was a stud and rode hard for me.
- 47:29Speaker 1: It was so funny when he got eliminated, him just
- 47:31Speaker 1: talking shit.
- 47:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that was crazy. He was awesome.
- 47:35Speaker 4: He did ask you in the thing, he was like,
- 47:37Speaker 4: did you ever lie to me? And you said no.
- 47:39Speaker 4: Had you ever lied to him?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:42Speaker 4: That's good.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I didn't. But when Marty was like, I never lied
- 47:46Speaker 1: to you, Marty told me he was going to bring
- 47:48Speaker 1: me to the end. He shook my hand and told
- 47:50Speaker 1: me if I make it to the end.
- 47:51Speaker 4: I'm going to bring you.
- 47:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that's the big thing. I don't think
- 47:53Speaker 5: your only thing that you say to the jury should be,
- 47:58Speaker 5: I didn't lie. Because I just think that doesn't work.
- 48:01Speaker 1: That's literally what you did during your most dangerous game.
- 48:04Speaker 4: It didn't work.
- 48:04Speaker 1: It didn't work. You're like, did I ever lie to you?
- 48:06Speaker 5: Yeah, it doesn't. No one gives a fuck.
- 48:08Speaker 4: Right.
- 48:08Speaker 5: No one's thinking like... Because if you didn't lie to them.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Well, Tate was like, I want you to lie the
- 48:12Speaker 4: whole time. Yeah. Tate said he was like, Dana, if
- 48:15Speaker 4: you had brought Glennie, then you would have had my respect. Right.
- 48:20Speaker 1: If you had smoked... That's sparky. If you had smoked...
- 48:25Speaker 1: If you had separated Marty and Dana, then I would
- 48:28Speaker 1: have given you that respect. Which I thought, I mean,
- 48:31Speaker 1: Tate did awesome. His like question, he was like, when
- 48:35Speaker 1: you vote, when I vote, you want me to vote
- 48:36Speaker 1: with my head or my heart? That was like a
- 48:38Speaker 1: great question.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Tate was really good at that. He was built for this.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Yeah, he's very precise with his words.
- 48:43Speaker 4: He was really, really good at it and was kind of,
- 48:46Speaker 4: I mean, the Dana-Marty alliance really was just like so
- 48:52Speaker 4: strong and they had people around them that they didn't
- 48:56Speaker 4: seem like they were ever in trouble. But Watching those
- 49:01Speaker 4: other people like Tate who were not really part of
- 49:03Speaker 4: that fight was admirable.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I think his stock is way up. I think he
- 49:09Speaker 1: did great the entire time. Tate did great the entire time.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I think something they put in this episode but kind
- 49:14Speaker 1: of glossed over was how much I was trying to
- 49:16Speaker 1: convince Dana to write a really long speech. and read
- 49:20Speaker 1: it verbatim and include everything that he had in his game.
- 49:25Speaker 1: That was a key goal of mine to sabotage his speech.
- 49:29Speaker 1: To make it like considerably, to make it worse.
- 49:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:33Speaker 5: You also hit him with, what did you say? You
- 49:34Speaker 5: were like, if you don't bring Marty, you're a scumbag. Yeah.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Wow.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:37Speaker 4: I heard you say that. And that was a really
- 49:40Speaker 4: interesting moment because that made me realize you really did
- 49:45Speaker 4: not want to face Marty for multiple reasons in that
- 49:49Speaker 4: catapult thing.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I just think that once people got to the final four,
- 49:52Speaker 1: they stopped playing the game and they're like, okay, I
- 49:55Speaker 1: just have to do this. And I just like little
- 49:57Speaker 1: things kept on playing.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:59Speaker 1: But again, it's very easy to say once I won
- 50:03Speaker 1: and everybody, this other 70 people in the game were
- 50:06Speaker 1: probably just like realistically just a couple moves away from
- 50:10Speaker 1: being in the same spot that I was.
- 50:12Speaker 5: All righty, folks, let's talk about DraftKings. The wait is over.

- 51:50Speaker 7: you that after watching it I will never participate in
- 51:52Speaker 7: that ever again.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I might be done, too.
- 52:19Speaker 4: I will never do it. I feel like they're going
- 52:21Speaker 4: to run out of people. What happens if... I mean,
- 52:24Speaker 4: it's just luck that in the season that Ronan and
- 52:27Speaker 4: I did, we never had to fuck each other over.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Imagine if you or I had to.
- 52:34Speaker 4: A podcast that relies entirely on chemistry. If we had
- 52:38Speaker 4: what he and Tommy have... I would cut both your
- 52:42Speaker 4: guys' throats. That'd be a nightmare.
- 52:43Speaker 5: Wouldn't even think about it.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:47Speaker 5: No, but I my biggest thing, my biggest takeaway was
- 52:51Speaker 5: I just loved the ending. Like, I think they got
- 52:52Speaker 5: to end it. They got to do like having it
- 52:55Speaker 5: ends right then and there with the result. And then
- 52:58Speaker 5: watching like the fallout of the result is so much
- 53:02Speaker 5: better than having it. People wait and have to do
- 53:04Speaker 5: like the big after show like. or the big, uh,
- 53:07Speaker 5: like everyone, everyone wears a suit.
- 53:09Speaker 4: Yeah. Are they going to do an after show?
- 53:11Speaker 1: They shot an after show live on the spot. And
- 53:14Speaker 1: I'm not sure if all those conversations that they had
- 53:17Speaker 1: where he, uh, Jeff asked who everybody voted for. I
- 53:19Speaker 1: don't remember if that was part of like the little
- 53:21Speaker 1: mini after show that they shot right there, but there
- 53:24Speaker 1: was more, but like, I didn't say a single word
- 53:27Speaker 1: and nobody asked me a single question. Yeah, yeah. Everybody
- 53:29Speaker 1: just argued across being like, why did you not vote
- 53:31Speaker 1: for me or what could I have done?
- 53:32Speaker 5: Dana was killing me.
- 53:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:34Speaker 5: What more could I have done?
- 53:38Speaker 4: I totally understand it from Mr.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Peggy. Yeah, yeah.
- 53:40Speaker 4: He told me that he's never been more sure that
- 53:44Speaker 4: he was going to win something than when they were
- 53:47Speaker 4: sitting down. He was like, in no world did he think...
- 53:52Speaker 4: but the what's tough crazy well it's because he didn't
- 53:54Speaker 4: see what we saw yeah he didn't see what he
- 53:57Speaker 4: did yeah when you see all that in the edit
- 54:00Speaker 4: after the fact and you're like clearly this show is
- 54:03Speaker 4: is building towards ron coming across as the ultimate like
- 54:09Speaker 4: survivor literally yeah of of so many attempts whereas like
- 54:14Speaker 4: When you say, like, I never had my name written down,
- 54:16Speaker 4: I actually think that's kind of a mark against you.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Yeah, because then it means no one saw you.
- 54:20Speaker 1: As a real threat.
- 54:21Speaker 4: You were never in trouble.
- 54:22Speaker 5: You were never in trouble. Like, it kind of, yeah,
- 54:25Speaker 5: it kind of comes off as like everyone wanted Dana
- 54:27Speaker 5: in the end.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Or like when, like even in the edit watching Dana
- 54:32Speaker 1: keep on being like, I really don't want Rowan to
- 54:34Speaker 1: be at the final. I took that as like a,
- 54:37Speaker 1: as a compliment because he's like, it will be hard.
- 54:40Speaker 1: It would be harder to beat me.
- 54:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Which I thought was nice.
- 54:43Speaker 4: He was really rooting against you with, uh, with Glennie
- 54:46Speaker 4: and you and the worms. Um, I, I will say,
- 54:49Speaker 4: I thought the Marty getting the call from Ria in
- 54:53Speaker 4: the thing, the confessional was like, I, that like moved
- 54:57Speaker 4: me deeply.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Yeah. You didn't like it.
- 55:00Speaker 5: I loved it. No, you didn't tear it up a
- 55:03Speaker 5: little bit.
- 55:04Speaker 4: I liked it. Cause I was like, wow, that is
- 55:08Speaker 4: a rock solid marriage. Yeah, yeah. I don't know that
- 55:13Speaker 4: anyone's told me they've been proud of me after not
- 55:16Speaker 4: winning something, you know, and getting that close. Yeah, yeah,
- 55:19Speaker 4: of course.
- 55:20Speaker 1: It's like, get your ass home.
- 55:21Speaker 4: I thought that was like really nice.
- 55:23Speaker 5: So this whole week was for nothing.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Also, how funny was it when Marty was like, she didn't,
- 55:30Speaker 4: they told us we couldn't split the money. She took everything.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:33Speaker 5: That was a great line. That was great.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that was very funny. Him and Dana. It was like,
- 55:40Speaker 1: it's like emotional. Like you get that far.
- 55:42Speaker 5: They were beat up bad.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Yeah. They were beat the fuck up.
- 55:45Speaker 5: They were really down. Cause they, I mean, I think
- 55:47Speaker 5: they probably assumed one of them was going to win it.
- 55:50Speaker 5: And I bet they had some sort of deal where
- 55:52Speaker 5: it was like, if I win, like I'll break you off.
- 55:54Speaker 4: Yeah. We give you 10 grand. Yeah. But dude, um,
- 55:56Speaker 4: how about Pat's question of what, tell us why you
- 56:00Speaker 4: think these other two should not win. That's just the
- 56:05Speaker 4: very end being like.
- 56:07Speaker 5: Yeah and then ron annihilated them not really you didn't
- 56:11Speaker 5: hold back at all not really i actually cut some
- 56:13Speaker 5: of the shit i said really yeah i was the
- 56:15Speaker 5: first person to bring up i was like his wife
- 56:17Speaker 5: won last year not because i was never going to
- 56:19Speaker 5: be part of my speech but i was like oh
- 56:22Speaker 5: they're fucking desperate for it and so when i said
- 56:24Speaker 5: that even like brandon walker.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Was like thank you like there's like people like people
- 56:29Speaker 1: wanted to hear that that wasn't even like i don't
- 56:31Speaker 1: think that that should be disqualifying like The same way
- 56:34Speaker 1: I was like, I shouldn't win just because I have kids.
- 56:37Speaker 1: He shouldn't lose just because his wife. But if people
- 56:40Speaker 1: wanted to hear that, but for whatever reason, they cut that.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Wait, I'm confused. You were saying it as a mark
- 56:45Speaker 4: against him or as something that they should not care about?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Well, I didn't believe it's something that they should care about.
- 56:53Speaker 1: But when Pat asked that question to be like, say
- 56:56Speaker 1: why these two people shouldn't win, I kind of like,
- 56:59Speaker 1: threw them the bone of being like, well, like he
- 57:01Speaker 1: played like Patrick from SpongeBob and his wife won last year.
- 57:06Speaker 5: It was kind of crazy.
- 57:08Speaker 1: You don't think that's true?
- 57:09Speaker 4: No.
- 57:10Speaker 5: I mean, I get what you were saying.
- 57:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 5: It's just ruthless.
- 57:15Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 57:16Speaker 5: Patrick from SpongeBob is like a retarded person. That's like
- 57:19Speaker 5: his whole character.
- 57:20Speaker 1: He's not, it's not a person.
- 57:21Speaker 5: He lives under a rock.
- 57:22Speaker 1: It's not a person. Isn't Patrick a starfish? Yeah. so
- 57:27Speaker 1: like it's not a it's not a retarded person.
- 57:29Speaker 5: But he's like dumber than spongebob who's already dumb as
- 57:32Speaker 5: fuck you.
- 57:33Speaker 4: Know that none of that's real right yeah but i
- 57:35Speaker 4: mean they don't actually live in a pineapple it.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Makes it real it doesn't bro he's a he's not
- 57:42Speaker 1: a retarded person he's a retarded starfish.
- 57:44Speaker 5: He called tommy plankton.
- 57:47Speaker 1: No he was uh mr crav um.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Okay, so.
- 57:54Speaker 1: No, he's really, he was Squidward, honestly.
- 57:55Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 57:56Speaker 1: He was treating me like Squidward.
- 57:59Speaker 4: I also thought it was, like, emotional and sad when
- 58:02Speaker 4: Dana was like, what I would have done with the money.
- 58:04Speaker 4: Because I do think he, of everyone, if you want
- 58:08Speaker 4: to talk about need, might have been the person that.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Needs the money the most. What are you talking about?
- 58:12Speaker 1: He's from Cha-Ching-Um.
- 58:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 1: He came on this and we were talking to Luxbury
- 58:17Speaker 1: and to Chingham. That was the one thing that I
- 58:20Speaker 1: was like, at the very first episode, he's like, I
- 58:23Speaker 1: don't come from, dude, we had a whole conversation about
- 58:27Speaker 1: how he left sandwich and went to Chingham.
- 58:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Okay well i don't know that.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Yes you do you were there it was our episode
- 58:34Speaker 1: where he had him on we had dana on and
- 58:37Speaker 1: we had a whole conversation about how i didn't his
- 58:40Speaker 1: neighborhood is named after the sound of cash register you.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Know that's hysterical i love how everybody at this company
- 58:47Speaker 4: gives me shit for somehow being wealthy and then they're
- 58:50Speaker 4: all fucking quietly masquerading behind oodles and noodles of cash
- 58:54Speaker 4: themselves everyone here likes to pretend they're fucking poor they're
- 58:57Speaker 4: not us.
- 58:59Speaker 1: With your fucking secondhand sweatshirts.
- 59:02Speaker 4: I have to wear it. I literally wear it. I'm like, yeah, this.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Is from Japan. Right. Meanwhile, he's from Deluxbury and uh
- 59:08Speaker 1: he's cosplaying he just wants to act like he's from
- 59:12Speaker 1: the other side of the tracks drop his r's on
- 59:14Speaker 1: the weekends.
- 59:15Speaker 4: Bingo bingo i'm going so that brings me to this
- 59:19Speaker 4: um run what are you doing on saturday of this week.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I'm flying back from, I have a show in Tallahassee,
- 59:26Speaker 1: pop punk show in Tallahassee, buy tickets.
- 59:28Speaker 4: Oh, that's too bad. I was going to say we
- 59:30Speaker 4: should do something, but then I remembered I actually have
- 59:32Speaker 4: plans with Harry.
- 59:33Speaker 1: What?
- 59:34Speaker 4: Can you believe that?
- 59:35Speaker 1: What?
- 59:35Speaker 4: Harry and I have plans.
- 59:37Speaker 1: What, is he going to be taped up in your trunk?
- 59:40Speaker 4: We have some plans.
- 59:41Speaker 1: What does that mean? You have plans with him.
- 59:43Speaker 4: Harry and I have some plans.
- 59:45Speaker 1: What?
- 59:46Speaker 4: Thanks to DraftKings, shout out DraftKings, we will be attending
- 59:50Speaker 4: the US Open Women's Final.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Have you been hired by DraftKings? I feel like last
- 59:55Speaker 1: week you were like, I want to get hired by DraftKings.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Did it happen?
- 59:58Speaker 4: No, it didn't happen.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: They reached out to me instead. And they said they
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: want to hire you? And they said they want me.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: They were like, can you get us Francis's number?
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: DraftKings Sports.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Yeah, DraftKings. We're going. We're going to be in a
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: box in a suite at Flushing at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: And Part of my pitch to Harry was, you know,
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: this is really close to where you live.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the main reason that I decided to go.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: I figured that way.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: So you're going to this?
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: He's coming.
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Isn't this like a schmooze fest?
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: No, I don't think so. I think it's kind of
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: been infiltrated by social media people this year.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: Let's just, whatever he believes that has allowed him to
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: do it, I think we're going to let that be
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: his reality. I don't want to dissuade him in any way.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Shape, or form. They're playing video games there.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: I'm pumped.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: They got gummy worms.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm excited too. Yeah, it'll be fun.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: I did think it was the men's when I agreed,
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: and then I looked up the schedule, but I'm still excited.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: I definitely said women's.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: No, you didn't. Let me look.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: You didn't even, I think you held out on purpose.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: I would not have done that to you. Uh.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: It was a strategic holdout, but I respect it.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: No, dude, there's just no way I wouldn't have been
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: entirely honest.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Oh, no, you said women's final.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: Hey, DraftKings asked me to come to their event at
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: the U.S. Open women's final next Saturday. Want to come?
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: The box, it's in a box. It's very close to
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: where you live. You don't have to, but it would
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: be fun.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Box.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: And he was into it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: So you don't pass up on the box.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: God damn.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going to be riding high, baby. Why did
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: I bring this up? What were we talking about coming
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: into this?
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I think just how awesome it is to spend time
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with Harry.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: That's probably what I'm most excited about.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: How awesome it's going to be for you guys to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: be drinking. What's that drink? The honey deuce?
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: The honey deuce. So this is what it is. I
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: knew that with him being from Deluxbury, he would only
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: come to this if we were in a box.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: So I wanted to keep him close to home.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: He said, well, where are we sitting?
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: We're going to have the nicest seats. I mean, DraftKings
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: is balls out.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: They're taking care of us.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: They take care of us. Yeah.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: That's gonna be sick yeah i'm actually deeply jealous that's
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: gonna be so i and and you guys are probably
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: gonna get closer have some stories to tell one another we're.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: Gonna have a lot of stories to tell how long
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: is it short because it's the women's final so it's
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: only best of three.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Sets oh nice yeah oh yeah we'll be in and out.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: I think it could be it could be it could
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: be an hour and a half oh we should go
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: early You should.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Just to maximize the chicken fingers in the box.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: Bro, it's true. It's more than that. They have like
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: cedar plank salmon in these boxes. Sushi. It's insane.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Cedar plank, bro.
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: Cedar plank. Should have led with that.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: I did everything I could.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: No, yeah, it's going to be fun.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: We're excited.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I'm deeply jealous. What was your.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Why this time do you say yes? If you get
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: asked a hundred times to do something and then what
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: broke the day?
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Proximity to his home is exactly what it is.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Really? It's literally that, dude.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: It's like 10 minutes away.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: So if we just start doing stuff in Astoria, like
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: that Astoria fried fish restaurant.
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: It's also early, too.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: At like noon. Yeah.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: So it's like, yeah, do something during the day. He'll
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: just come straight back home.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Go back to bed.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: Yeah. Because like I like I have nothing going on
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: next Saturday. So, you know, why not? It's going to
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: be great. And then we got ball on Sunday. Come
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: on now.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: What a weekend. Yeah.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that's going to be great. So I'm thinking we
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: make a little money at the Open.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Oh, in drafting sports?
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Exactly. And then we use that money for Sunday.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: We should probably bet Sabalenka right now.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Really? Is it going to get good odds on her?
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Well, she's just going to run away with this.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Who else is still left? Osaka?
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: No idea.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: She might still be in it. Actually, there was this
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: girl I was watching the other night who's from the
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: Philippines who's incredible. Brea or something like that?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: I guarantee she could sing, too.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: She's really, really good. There's a couple of Americans left
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: in the draw on the women's side. There's a lot
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: of men.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Golf?
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Coco? I think she's in it. Let me look.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Actually, Tyler, could you look up really quick?
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: I literally have never heard any of these names.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: Of the women are left.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: What's the attire? Do I got to wear my whites?
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: No, that's Wimbledon, and we're not playing, so... You don't
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: have to.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: I'm wearing all white.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I like that for you. Wristbands and shit. Headbands.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: You should wear a wig like Andre Agassi.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: Who's not? Coco's out.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: What's the merch situation like?
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: There's Sabalank. It's good, man. We'll get you one of
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: those giant balls that you can get autographed. And I'll
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: bring you down. They'll be like, oh, that's your son.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: Oh, that'll be awesome.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll get some.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Bro, bless me with a 2026 hat. Nah.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: Really? Nah, you gotta be there.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: You gotta be there. There's always a price, though.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: $ 250, 000. No. We'll take it post-tax.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Congrats on Harry winning $ 250, 000 by forcing me into buying
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: a hat.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: Have you got the check yet?
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I have not.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: They're holding out. That takes a while.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Let me check my fucking bank account, bro.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: That takes a while, dude.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: What are you going to use it for? You probably
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: won't even notice it going in.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: No.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Yeah. It's like, oh, my. Oh, wow. It went up.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: My pay cycle came a little earlier this year or
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: this week.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Wait, did it? I can't tell.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: It feels a little light.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: People were like, he bought a Lexus. uh he must
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: have won yeah that was last summer.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: Dude they do this with me all the time already
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: i already had the lexus.
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: It's so funny to watch people sort of hypothesize that
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: i either won or lost based on my like purchases
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: and mood of of the internet invitational um it's just
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: like i'm so all over the map that nobody should
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: try to read in one way or another no no.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's impossible to know.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: Was it Gruden? Did Gruden almost spoil the Invitational or
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: the Surviving? Surviving, that was hilarious.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: What did you do?
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Did you guys see that?
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: No.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: They were live. And they were doing that golf thing,
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: the grudge match. And Gruden just randomly goes, who wants
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: Surviving Barstool again? And then Dave immediately is like, we're live.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: We're live.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: We're live.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: Like immediately jumps in.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: He couldn't even get mad at Gruden.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: He wouldn't even get mad at him.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Now, I was very much wondering what would have happened
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: if Gruden spoiled it. That would be like best case
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: scenario person to spoil.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Coach was just trying to pump my tires, obviously.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly. He wanted that getting out.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You think I'd make more if I was working for
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: the Bucs when he gets hired there? Or do you
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: think I'd make more just winning surviving Barstool? I got
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: to win this every year now just to keep up
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: with the cost of living. I know.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: By the way, I thought it was great. Can we
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: just say that? Like, I thought that everything about that
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: show was fantastic.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's awesome.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Top to bottom. The challenges are so creative. I don't
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: know who the fuck.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: It's the people who actually do Survivor.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: It's got like Willy Wonka back there just coming up
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: with these weird.
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: I know. I always wonder how they come up with it,
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: but I also like full time job.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I think two of the things that people complained a
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: lot about were too many idols and the pre-show alliances.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: But.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I went back to the last season and all of
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: the feedback was about pre-show alliances. And even Dave's like,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: there's too many pre-show alliances. And under every tweet of
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Dave's last year, it was like, you and Mubi had
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: this pre-show alliance. Like you were threatening to fire her
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: or whatever. Like I think that that's just a constant
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: refrain and people will really frame it as they just
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: like dislike the thing that they're watching actively.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I also but watching it, I was fucking sick of myself, dude. Really?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: So fucking tired of myself. See myself in confessionals just
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: fucking rattling it off.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: I thought you were great. You've got a lot of burn.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: You got a lot of time because you you effectively did.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: I don't know. They say people have like a champions
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: at it. Did you would you say that you got
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: a champions at it?
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I think people early on were trying to guess that,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: but people were also like, oh, Marty's getting a– like
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Dana's getting– or Tate's getting a champion's edit. They're all
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: getting a winner's edit. So I think that people thought
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: it across the board, which makes it seem like a
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: pretty even edit.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: I got a loser's edit. Yeah, yeah, definitely. They were like,
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: here's our clown that's going to die in the second act.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I'm also just glad that I don't have to fucking
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: lie to people about my knee anymore. Even at the
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: fucking grocery store yesterday– like a guy was like, what happened?
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I was like, just, I don't want to explain it.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: So I was just like playing.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Ball and then i got i got trapped in a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: long conversation where he thought i was a basketball player
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: yeah and he was like oh you must have had
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: a sick jumper though i was like no Not really.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: Yeah, you got to go with something more basic than that.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Well, I thought playing ball is like the most like.
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: Playing ball sounds like you're a professional athlete.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: What do I say then?
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: Playing basketball.
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: Say you were playing with your kids or something.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: That's fucking soft.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: I was saying, did it on a game show?
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: I was playing co-ed basketball.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: He's not going to ask any more questions after that.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I fouled a girl. I fouled the shit out of
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: a girl. A girl fouled me.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I was playing in a social, dating-heavy, like, rec
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: league co-ed basketball game.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: All right, man.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: I toured on a game show.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: Oh, okay. That's just, you're opening up a lot of
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: conversations with that.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: I got trapped in a, uh, ride to o'hare after
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: a trip to chicago where the guy was just i
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: said that and he the entire ride we were in
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: traffic and that's all we were talking about the conversation
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: didn't stop what do.
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: You think looks good yeah it does looking strong that
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: cracked and so yeah i didn't like that what do
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: you think about the future of surviving barstool you think
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: they do it again you think they continue it i
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: i saw someone online say it, which I believe I
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: also said this a couple of years ago, which is
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: that I think that they should do it. Barstool idol.
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: And then they have all the contestants play surviving barstool.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: I think initially it's going to, the views would be
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: probably 700% worse. Um, if I had to guess, but
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: I think it would lead for.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: More be 700% worse. Does that even make sense?
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: Yeah. I would think you could. Yeah. Just multiply by... No, actually.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Sit my ass down and listen.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: I feel like a lot of people wouldn't want to
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: watch it in the beginning, but I do feel like
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: there would be more potential for like... Skulldudgery.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: Like a lot more like cutting people's throats and stuff
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: because none of those people are going to be worried about...
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: Like they don't know... If you don't know the people
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: and you don't have to go back to work with
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: the people.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: But that's what people like about Surviving Barstool is that
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: it has implications beyond the game. Yeah.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: I just wonder what the future of it looks like with.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I know that they were working on a game that's
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: similar to Traders, trying to find a Traders-adjacent game that's
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: proprietary to Barstool. It's not just like Barstool Traders, but
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: they said that maybe they're just going to take that
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: to Dave and he'll be like, no, let's just play
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: exactly the same game as Traders.
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: Yeah, that's also possible.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Have either of you watched that game?
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: No, everyone raves about it.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: It's pretty good.
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Well, I don't know anything about it.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: It's basically Werewolf with challenges in between. So there's three
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: people that are traitors and 15 people that are trying
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: to find the traitor. And so the traitors kill someone
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: every night and then the cast vote someone out every day.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: And so you should try and vote somebody out that
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you think is a traitor.
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: Interesting. Maybe just stick to surviving then.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: The prize for that actual show that has tons of
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: celebrities on it is $ 250, 000. Damn. Which is crazy because
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Dave is throwing out $ 250, 000 for this game. What are
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: you going to buy? I don't know.
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: You got to get something.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I got to get something.
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: Wait a minute.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: New keyboard, at least.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: Would you say that that nice vacation you guys all
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: went on, you had factored that in for that a
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: little bit?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: No, I paid for that before. That's annual. That's baked in.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: I thought that was kind of like a celebration.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: That was not.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: It was a celebration of life.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: The money hasn't hit yet.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: No, I know, but I spent, I mean, I had
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: made plans before the money hit for my thing.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Well, I'm trying to do something, but it's also like
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I want to do something with my whole family, but
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I also just went on a transatlantic flight that was
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: a nightmare. So it's like, what even?
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: New TV?
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Maybe a flat screen.
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: Maybe you just do something with your friends. Yeah.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: A trip with my friends.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: To Patagonia. Patagonia.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: That would be nice. If we go to Patagonia.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: Maybe we all just go to Patagonia. Yeah.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: And we do it big because we got 250 to
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: work with. But you forgot about taxes, though.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: We're going pre-tax.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Uncle Sam takes half right off the top.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: From you, not us.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I'm in the hole, 125. 125 is fucking brutal. I
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: need to move to fucking Delaware before this shit hits.
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I need to move to Delaware.
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: I don't even know what I would do with that.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: What would you do with it?
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: Buy a bunch of dumb shit.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: Immediately like a new mouse the answer is don't do
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: anything with it break off a piece enjoy it and
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: then put the rest away to grow.
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: I'd probably give 75 to tommy just to move things
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: over yeah.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: He did keep on saying like you screwed me out
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: of 250 000.
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: Would he have won if you hadn't done that i
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: don't think is there an argument to be made that
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: he would have won the whole show.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Well in everybody's mind as soon as they got voted
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: out they got screwed out of the money you know It's.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: Just crazy to me.
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: I feel like a lot of people operate under the
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: idea that it's their money to lose.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: When in reality, it's not.
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: I feel like that mindset of you screwed me out
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: of this, it's like, brother, you weren't even close.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: You weren't even scratching the surface.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Everybody plays the game as if they're the main character.
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: But then once you realize it, that when you voted
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: out that you're not, you're just a side character.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: Yeah. You don't deserve that 250 until you win it.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Right, exactly.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: I think Pat's going to win one of these shows.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I could see Tate winning one. I could see Nicky
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Smokes winning one.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: Maybe Pat's two people. He's done too many of them.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Pat wanted to get me out so badly.
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: Yeah, he was right.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: And he was right.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: He saw the writing on the wall. He knew you
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: were going to win.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Annika too. Annika wanted to get me out badly. She knew.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: anika meek phil tried to do a move on me
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: that would that would have been a killer.
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: So you think they'll run it yeah that would be
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: devastating yeah i.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Think that you guys probably kick me off the show definitely.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: Might have been the end of that yeah do.
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: You think they'll so do you think they'll run it
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: back again.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Would you remember where are you gonna do the show
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: if we got to like a certain if we got
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: to 150 000 subscribers you said that you were going
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: to you're probably lying.
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: They asked me if I wanted to do it this time,
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: and I said, oh, I had something that week.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: And then they moved it, and then you still had something.
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: Unfortunately, my other thing got moved to the same week,
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: so I couldn't. But no, I wouldn't be good on
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: that show.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I think you'd be good.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: You made it to the final of an exactly similar show.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Yeah, but I made it to that final by coasting.
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: And not trying. I don't think you would be good
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: on this show. No, it's too much mental game.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: War.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Someone like Yandel would be great on a.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: Show like that.
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: Would he? I don't know. I don't know the way
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: his brain works.
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: $ 60 million earned, though. I don't know if that $ 250
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: is getting him out of bed.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I think it might have been more than $ 60, bro.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: I think he might be upwards of $ 60 career.
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: I think so, too.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Don't put fucking smut on a $ 60.
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: I think he made a lot more than $ 60 million.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: I believe it was.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: 73 to 75.8. And that's not even counting the pick
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Whitney money. Play for the fly guys. 73. What the
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: fuck is he doing with that? Don't ask me what
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I'm doing with the 250. Just racing boats with Aaron Judge.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Who did he say he lived by on the water?
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: Someone like that.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Like some baseball player.
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: But they all, I think they like all, yeah.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: Rizzo told me the story of how he started his
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: boat when it was out of the water. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: He's like, dude, you got to put it in the water.
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: He goes, I've never been on one of these before.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: Maybe you buy a boat.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: A tiny one.
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: No, a big one.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I can't afford a big boat.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: You can now. I can.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Two-fitty.
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: You could get a good boat for two-fitty.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: No, the only, I do think.
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: 25 footer.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: You have to do an experience, but... Really?
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: That's what you're leaning towards?
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: Experience? He's an experienced guy.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: He's got everything he wants. He's got a beautiful family.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: He wants to experience those with them.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: What could I do to enhance my everyday experience? I
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: don't play golf. I don't play video games.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: I'm telling you, you've got to get an OLED TV.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: OLED is going to do nothing for me.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Beach house.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: It will.
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: You do need a Jersey Shore beach house.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Jersey Shore, you think?
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: Avalon is where you guys are going to ultimately line
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: up there.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: 250 is not putting a fucking dent in an Avalon
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: beach house.
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: Down payment. Down payment.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: It is not touching it, bro.
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: It's definitely a down payment.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Maybe I can go to Margate.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: And then, you know, you use whatever money you got
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: left to get an OLED TV for there, for the
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: beach house.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I could get like a one room shack, like on
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: the mainland off of Avalon.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: Why don't you buy me an OLED TV?
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: Why don't you do that?
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: How about that's the, that's what you do.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: How much is an OLED?
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: Expensive.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: How much?
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: For a good one, you're looking at at least $ 1, 500.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: $ 1, 500, no.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: And look at those colors just bursting through the screen.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: All right, maybe I need an OLED.
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: Just jumping out of the screen.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Can you put an OLED in?
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: It's going to feel like you're at the Eagles game
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: while they're playing.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I already have a frame TV, though, bro. The frame
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: TV is great. all you need.
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: Plus, I have a- This guy doesn't know anything about screens.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Man, it's not for me.
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: It's for my fucking kids and wife. Harry, you know
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: too much about screens.
- 1:18:58Speaker 5: You got a frame TV.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: A frame TV. Do you know what the frame is?
- 1:19:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:03Speaker 5: That thing's a piece of shit.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Bro, you can put art on it. You can't put
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: art on an OLED.
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: If you put art on the OLED, it's going to
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: look like actual art.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: No, it's going to have like the Mona Lisa is
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: going to be tie-dyed. It's going to be like fucking
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: a joke. They're going to add colors to it that
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: aren't even there.
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: The OLED, like if you get the OLED and you're
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: watching ball on the OLED, like you won't be able
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: to remove yourself from the TV. Like it inhales you.
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: that's not the case sucks you in like you couldn't
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: even imagine seeing those true blacks you don't know you
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: don't even know what a true black is do you.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Are we gonna are we doing ball at your new
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: apartment are you gonna.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: I don't have a tv what i don't have a
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: tv right now what the fuck waiting for you to
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: buy me an oled are you.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Serious how big are these.
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: Yeah it's biggest you want How many inches?
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: 77 inches. How many inches is the 99? The 999
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: is 85 inches.
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's clearly a shitty one.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: It's OLED.
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: No, it's QLED. QLED is fake OLED. You want the
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: actual O.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Yeah, the QLED doesn't really pop.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: QLED's not going to pop. I mean, you can literally
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: see in the example photos that that's clearly the least
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: colorful one.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Francis, have you been to like a restoration hardware or
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: a home goods or what's that store that's in Dumbo
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: on like the waterfront? That's like a home goods type
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: of store that's in like timeout market.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. I know what you're talking about.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: What's that store?
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: Well, fuck. I don't know. You're talking about the furniture? Oh,
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: West Elm.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: West Elm.
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Have you been inside any of those stores recently?
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, yeah, kind of.
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: There's– West Elm Francis.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: West Elm Francis.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: For what it's worth, the real hack is you got
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: to go to the RH outlets. There's one in Paramus.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: That's like– Or Industry City, the one over there.
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: That one's okay. It just doesn't have the selection. The
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: one in Paramus has two gigantic floors. I got an $ 18, 000
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: couch marked down to.
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: $ 1, 900.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: Because it was a floor model and someone had like
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: kicked it. So there was a footprint. There was a
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: boot print on the back. And I was like, I
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: can get that out. Couldn't.
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: Own it.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: It's fainter. I had a professional furniture cleaner come in,
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: steam the shit out of it. You can still see
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: the boot. But whatever. I put a blanket over the
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: back of the couch. I have a throw that I
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: put so you can't see it.
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: I mean, that's a crazy discount.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: Dude, that's what they have there. It's like shit that's...
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: And this is the one in Paramus? Yeah. They're like, here,
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: this one's marked down 98% because a homeless person came
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: in here and shat in one of the covers.
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: Someone was going to shit in it at some point.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: Like, I don't care. I can't smell it.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Just because I couldn't shit in it first?
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: But going into one of those stores has made me
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: realize that, like, color has been zapped from the world.
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: Oh, they've taken it all.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: The only color that exists is light green.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: Cream, light green.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: But blue doesn't exist. If you walked in there with
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: bright red, it would probably give people an epileptic seizure.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: In the world, there are no more bright colors. Any
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: type of new furniture.
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: That's why.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: They don't want you to have an OLED. OLEDs will
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: probably shock the nervous system of young children because everything
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: is this muted beige tone.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: I think, sorry, no, no, please. I think a lot
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: of that is that we were shopping at, uh, furniture
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: stores that are within like New York city.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: And, and, You think they have red in the country?
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: Like, if you went to a furniture store in Maine,
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: it's all, like, cottage-y type stuff. And there's, like, patterns
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: and quilts and nice, sweet pastel colors.
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: But you're still not seeing a lot of reds. Like,
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: if anything, maybe you'll get a dark green.
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: No, they'd have reds there.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Red is.
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: If you go shopping in Maine, you'll get a green
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: or a brown.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: You'll get a red.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: And more of a maroon.
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: A softer red. Not a hard red.
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Not a royal blue. Not like a hard red. Not
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: like a fucking- God forbid a yellow. Kelly green.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: A yellow.
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:23:08Speaker 5: Will we ever see a yellow again?
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Yellow's dead. Red's dead.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: Yellow.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Yeah, we need a redemption for red being dead.
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: Imagine having an orange couch.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: They used to exist bro like 1980s yeah the orange
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: yeah totally a pop of color but yeah this shit
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: is even like clothing like people don't wear shirts that
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: have shit on them anymore no i mean ball.
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: Ball we're but like i only wear shirts with stuff
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: on them you only wear that shirt I'm on now.
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: This exact ensemble, the green shorts and the blue Patriots crew.
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: I'm on now. It's been as if you have not
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: been home.
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: Well, see, the thing is, I do wear different clothes.
- 1:23:56Speaker 5: I just for the podcast, I'm a little bit more selective.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: That's like me. If I have to convince people that
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I'm not a bad guy, I'm a bad guy. If
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you just start convincing people that like you wear lots
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: of clothes, you don't wear a lot of clothes.
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: Yeah. i do people think we're recording all these episodes
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: on the same.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Day yeah they think it's all banked because you you
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: are uh dressing like homer simpson with a closet full
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: of the same exact.
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: I'm just really waiting for i'm waiting for winter to
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: really get the fits popping again summer.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: It's brown pants it's gonna be brown pants.
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: I'm excited for the brown pants i have green pants i'm.
- 1:24:32Speaker 4: Excited for the greens and the browns i'm excited for
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: that that cool like heavy shirt you wear heavy shirt
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: it's like uh Polo. It's got wool. It's thick. Oh,
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: the sweater. Sure.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: His problem is he's hit a growth spurt and he
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: doesn't even know it. Look at his sleeves. He's too
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: big for a sweatshirt now.
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: This sweatshirt has always been a little bit ill-fitting.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: No, it's the fucking growth spurt.
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: I'm looking for some more new Patriots gear. Okay.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: For the season.
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: We can make that happen.
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: Tis the season.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Send him some. 333 7th Avenue.
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: Tis the season. Do you guys watch any ball this weekend?
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: Of course.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: Did you?
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: Or did you just dabble? Because I kind of just dabbled.
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: I didn't really fully sink.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: I watched the Indiana game and the beginning of the
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Indiana game and the end of the Michigan game.
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: College football, man. It's like watching pain dry. That shit is.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: No, it's not.
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: Oh, wow. The team that was supposed to win won
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: by 60 points again.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: The Michigan game was an instant classic.
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: Oh, let's see how Alabama's doing. Oh, they're up by
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: 100 going into the half. This should be an exciting
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: second half. i just like like i like watching college
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: football but i only like watching it when it's a
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: good matchup like i can't i know that's like that's
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: like it's it's for the people that are like diehard
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: fans of those teams not me because i don't have
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: any i don't have a college team why don't you
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: get one i could become a syracuse fan because my
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: sister is going there now there you go but even
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: them they won by like they won by like 80.
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: Points Well, they won't win every game by 80, right?
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: No, no.
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: That's why it is fun when there's good games, but
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: I know week one's pretty slow.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: The Michigan game was a classic. Yeah. It was aight.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: There was a Hail Mary that decided the game.
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: What did you think of that? You think Dave made
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: the call? Because a lot of people are saying Dave
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: made the call.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: I was just on the phone with the president.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it was Dave, Trump, and Netanyahu on a three-way.
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: Did you see that? Have you seen that video of
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: Netanyahu singing? No. It keeps coming up on my timeline.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: I bet.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: It's so funny. That's really all I have to say
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: on that.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: What's he singing? Stella Lefty?
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Boston.
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: You've got the clothes. I've got the floor.
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: She's getting dragged. And I along with her.
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. You're done.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:59Speaker 5: This is what you needed to win surviving or else
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: you were on a bad path.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: Because they're getting her. I mean, they're coming up with
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: a new song every day that she's stolen.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: Yeah. They're treating her like she was in Ocean's Eleven.
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Like she's Danny Ocean.
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: Eight.
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: Eight.
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: Ocean's Eight.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Where it's all girls.
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: Watch that one. But yeah, they are dragging her bad.
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: Yeah.

- 1:27:44Speaker 1: season brings is going to be sick. It's going to
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: be muted. It's going to be wearable. It's going to
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: be just the right amount of understated where it actually
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: is a bit stated, but it's going to fit you.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: It's going to be the exact type of look you're
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: looking for from our friends over at Fabletics. What really
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: stands out to me is how comfortable everything is. The
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: fits great. The quality is there. It's the kind of
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: gear that you can wear all day without thinking about it.

- 1:28:51Speaker 5: the real.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: One No, you're thinking Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox story.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Oh, wait, does he drive a lawnmower into a lake
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: or some shit like that?
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: Maybe I have seen it. It's so good.
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: Such a good movie.
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: June Carter.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Are you guys more Elvis guys or Johnny Cash guys?
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: Cash, of course.
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: I genuinely don't know if I could name a single
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: Elvis song. My parents never listened to Elvis. I never
- 1:29:16Speaker 5: listened to Elvis. It just never was a thing I
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: was on until I watched the Johnny Cash movie.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: How about Sinatra or Johnny Cash?
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: Cash. Really? Probably Johnny Cash.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: You guys love Cash like that.
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: I love Johnny Cash.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: Cash is probably like a top five for me.
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: Cash and Bob Dylan were also compatriots.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: Colleagues.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: Collaborators. Dylan went electric. Cash had to reconsider a lot
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: of things. Blonde on Blonde changed the world.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Isn't that the end of Bob Dylan's movie? Doesn't
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: he run into Johnny Cash?
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: At the Newark Folk Festival, he does. Yeah.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: What did you think of the movie on rewatch?
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: Even better this time than the first time I saw it.
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: It's one of those biopics.
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: It's like one of the only good ones.
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: Well, I don't know about that.
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: A lot of them are pretty bad.
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: Are you talking specifically about music? Yeah. Oh, because I
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: was going to say like there's other great biopics.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: No, I'm talking about the ones like the Bob Marley
- 1:30:10Speaker 5: fucking disaster piece.
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: I don't know why. I thought the Bob Dylan one
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: was unbelievably good.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: I thought it was really good, but it was like,
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: would you ever watch it again?
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I would watch it again.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: That scene where he's in the basement that kind of
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: looks like the comedy seller on McDougal Street or whatever.
- 1:30:25Speaker 4: And he comes up and like turns the corner and
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: immediately starts making out with that unbelievably gorgeous girl. Oh, yeah.
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: His lover. The singer.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: I loved that. The romance of it all. Beautiful.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: What's her name in real life?
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: Joan. Joan. Didion. Baez.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Isn't that Baez?
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: Baez.
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: Who's Joan Rivers?
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: Can we look up what Joan Baez?
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Joan Rivers is the comedian.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: She's like a fag hag who's on the red carpet
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: who talks shit on people's outfits. She shades people's outfits.
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: Joan Didion might be an author. Joan Bees?
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: Baez.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: Baez. Bro, how are you a Bob Dylan guy? You
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: don't know Joan Baez.
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: Because I like Bob Dylan, not Joan Baez.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you have a Baez against her.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: Exactly. I'm pretty sure that Steve Jobs dated her.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Steve Jobs dated Joan Baez?
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: And I think it was because he was also obsessed
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: with Bob Dylan.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: He just wanted to smell what Bob Dylan's dick was like.
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: Brief romantic relationship and lifelong friendship in the early 1980s.
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: What was Steve Jobs doing in the 80s that he
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: was linking up with?
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: He was 27 and she was 41.
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: He had started Apple with Woes.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: In 82, was he already... They were.
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: On the scene.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: Apple was already a thing in the 80s?
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: I think so.
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: Damn.
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: When did Steve Jobs found Apple? Last question.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: When did you think it came out, Sass?
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: Definitely in the late 90s.
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: You thought Apple came out in the late 90s?
- 1:31:58Speaker 5: 76.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: There you go.
- 1:32:01Speaker 5: Holy shit.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Apple's 50 years old.
- 1:32:03Speaker 5: Jobs was ahead of his time.
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. So they were getting hot. But what was
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: I going to say? He couldn't get the last big
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: artist that he convinced to put their music on iTunes
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: was Bob Dylan.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: He could not get him to do it. and finally
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: i mean took him decades and it was like this
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: white whale for him steve jobs to get bob dylan's
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: music on it he.
- 1:32:32Speaker 5: Just didn't want to go to streaming no it's because
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: he was fucking his ex bitch yeah that is true
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: yeah he's like probably had something to.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: Do with you're gonna fuck my ex bitch and then
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: fucking make 75 cents off of every song i've ever
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: made every time it's listened to hell no.
- 1:32:47Speaker 5: Well bob dylan ended up sending selling his entire collection
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: of music to like sony for like $ 200 million recently.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: That's very folk of him.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: I feel like a lot of these artists are doing this.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: That's very down-home and folk.
- 1:33:00Speaker 5: I mean, if you're at the end of your career,
- 1:33:01Speaker 5: why not? Someone's offering you 200 M's.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: I just didn't know he was like a capitalist pig
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: like that. It's actually kind of disappointing. I guess the
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: times they are are changing, Bob. Good God. Poor bastard.
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: This weekend I was with a friend of mine and
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: hanging out with him much of the weekend. He's married,
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: he's got kids, and I hang out with their family
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: all the time.
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: Legend.
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: Beast. His brother also, they like share a house and he,
- 1:33:27Speaker 4: his brother's married, also has kids. So I was hanging
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: out with the whole family. I got a splinter in
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: my finger.
- 1:33:32Speaker 5: Hate to hear that.
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: And it's buried. Oh, it almost feels as if skin
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: has grown over it. And it is at the tip
- 1:33:39Speaker 4: of my pointer finger. And anytime I touch something, it
- 1:33:42Speaker 4: sends shockwaves of pain up my body.
- 1:33:45Speaker 5: The worst is when you try to like replicate it
- 1:33:47Speaker 5: to find it. And like, you can't, but then randomly
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: you just hit it.
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: And it's, I'm hitting it a lot. Yeah. I'm hitting
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: it every time I press an elevator button, you know, whatever,
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: all kinds of things. So finally last night I said
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: to my buddy, I was like, dude, I have a
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: really weird request. Is there any chance I could get
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: your wife or your brother's wife to like have removed
- 1:34:11Speaker 4: this splinter? Right.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Cause that's a woman's job.
- 1:34:15Speaker 4: Well thinking they both have kids. Surely they have experience with,
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: withdrawing splinters and like the kit that.
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: You might need tweezers.
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: Whether it's whether it's yeah pedicure manicure type stuff or
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: whatever yeah and he was like he looked at me
- 1:34:33Speaker 4: he goes dude i'll do it and i was like
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: oh did i just ask a question that came across
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: like i was trying to like and be involved with
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: your wife somehow.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: Can she take me to the bathroom alone and get
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: this wood out of me.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: Where's your wife at I did I did spread it
- 1:34:54Speaker 4: to both either wife.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah like anyone who's down yeah honestly I'm
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: not picky then.
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: I was like is this sexist that I just assumed
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: that a woman would be I don't know my mom
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: always removed my splinters when I was a kid yeah
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: my dad never did if my dad did he would
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: have come in with a fucking chainsaw.
- 1:35:11Speaker 5: Yeah just cut it off yeah just lose the whole finger.
- 1:35:14Speaker 4: Yeah, so that was where all of that was coming from.
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: But the minute it was out of my mouth and
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: he responded that way, I was like, oh, that didn't
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: sound great.
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: I got a question. Why didn't you just do it yourself?
- 1:35:25Speaker 4: I tried.
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: And you couldn't?
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: Can't.
- 1:35:28Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:35:28Speaker 4: I've tried multiple times.
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: Is it like a mental thing? I don't have a kit.
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: I've been trying to do it with my kitchen knives.
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Well, that's a terrible idea.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: Like, this morning I was picking at it. It's still
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: in there. I mean, it's a nightmare.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: Well, what if there's a chance that you're like a
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: Spider-Man but for trees? And you're just like, you've kind
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: of like turned into.
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: It's definitely possible.
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: Or what if you have like the Midas touch, but
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: like you can turn anything into wood now.
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: Are you sure it's wood and it's not glass?
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: Maybe it's broken glass.
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: Because I had.
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: Glass stuck in my toe when I was in high school.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:36:02Speaker 5: And I got it out myself. I didn't need a
- 1:36:04Speaker 5: woman to help me, but I got it out myself.
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: And it took me, I think, three hours of like
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: literally like surgically entering my foot. And trying to get
- 1:36:15Speaker 5: it out.
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: I need needles and tweezers. This is not going to
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: happen with my paring knife, which is what I was
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: trying to do.
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: You've got to get some tweezers.
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: Why would I do that when every woman I know
- 1:36:30Speaker 4: has a pair?
- 1:36:31Speaker 5: Because it sounds like they don't.
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: No, he just wouldn't give you access to the woman.
- 1:36:35Speaker 4: I just need to find a single woman who has
- 1:36:38Speaker 4: a pair of tweezers.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: Hit Francis in the DMs if you want to perform
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: surgery on his index.
- 1:36:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:36:46Speaker 4: Preferably someone with medical or sewing expertise.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: I fixed Nick's ingrown toenail one time on the act.
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: You glanced it?
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: I basically got in there and did surgery on that bitch.
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: So I feel like I could do this if you
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: wanted it, but I would kind of prefer that if
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: you had a woman do it.
- 1:37:03Speaker 4: This is my point. Someone's going to be holding my
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: hand and digging at it.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: And if you get hard... and it's a dude, then
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: you'll be gay.
- 1:37:11Speaker 5: I'm just really still lost on why you need someone
- 1:37:15Speaker 5: else to do it.
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: It's not like it's behind your back. I won't even
- 1:37:20Speaker 4: get mad at you for saying this. I'll give you
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: another legitimate reason. It's my dominant hand.
- 1:37:25Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: So I was trying with my left hand, and it's
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: on the inside, so I have to turn it out
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: like this. It's all very awkward and ungettable.
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: You must have a very dominant hand.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: He does. But it's like you can't open a beer
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: with your other hand.
- 1:37:41Speaker 5: Your other hand doesn't work?
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: You can't open a Stella Lefty.
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: I want to put a splinter right now in your
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: fucking hand and watch you do this weird autonomous journey
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: you claim to be. And I'll go like this.
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: And I'll go like this.
- 1:37:57Speaker 4: It's not like that. It's buried, you motherfucker.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:38:01Speaker 4: You're not coming to DraftKings anymore.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:38:04Speaker 4: Yeah, that's out. You're out.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: I'm out? Tommy's invited now?
- 1:38:07Speaker 4: I'm bringing a woman who's going to fucking take the
- 1:38:09Speaker 4: splinter out of my finger.
- 1:38:11Speaker 5: She'll probably say the same thing. Didn't you have just
- 1:38:15Speaker 5: done this?
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: I have tried. I have tried.
- 1:38:19Speaker 5: If you're trying with a fucking machete.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: Well, hand skin grows so fast that like it's probably
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: deeply under, it's probably under a couple layers by now
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: where you're gonna have to re.
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: Injure yourself i know i have to recut it open
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: you have to cut it open i was making it
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: bleed this morning i've gone after this thing also all
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: splinters are not created equal some are in there deeper
- 1:38:39Speaker 4: and some aren't why are you not getting.
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: This i am i am You're just being very nasty
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: about it. When I used to be a Native American,
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: we used to have to take people's arrow. To get
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: an arrow out of somebody's body, you have to put
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: two knives in on either side and basically make another wound.
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: Sometimes it's easier to actually pull it out the back. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: I was going to say.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: We might have to pull the. This might need to
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: come out through the nail. Elbow.
- 1:39:05Speaker 4: This might need to come out through the nail.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: We're going to fish it out like when your string
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: is caught in your.
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: Bore a hole through the nail and then pull it out.
- 1:39:12Speaker 5: Pulling it out through the nail would be insane. Are
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: you positive it's wood?
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: No, Harry. And what difference does it make what it is?
- 1:39:22Speaker 5: Because glass is harder to see when it's that small.
- 1:39:25Speaker 4: That's fair. I think it's either wood or it might
- 1:39:28Speaker 4: be like a thistle type thing.
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: That would be nasty to have a thistle.
- 1:39:34Speaker 5: Thistle in the finger because now you're gonna need a
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: woman oh you've come around even you didn't say it
- 1:39:40Speaker 5: was thistle i didn't know what it was you're i
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: am thinking it's wood the entire time i.
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: Thought this i thought the story would be focused more
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: on what i had to say and you just flipped
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: it to me being a pussy bitch i.
- 1:39:52Speaker 5: Mean i'm just i'm just saying because i'm just remembering
- 1:39:54Speaker 5: when i did full open surgery on my foot one
- 1:39:57Speaker 5: time this one there and i was literally like it
- 1:39:59Speaker 5: was the bottom of my foot so i was like this.
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: I mean, that's already what you're doing there is pretty impressive.
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: For hours.
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: I'm not certain I could do that.
- 1:40:08Speaker 5: My knee was on fire.
- 1:40:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40:10Speaker 5: But I fought through it.
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: That's what happened to me. That's how I hurt my shit.
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: I had this on the bottom of my foot and
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: I had to fucking crank that bitch.
- 1:40:19Speaker 4: Don't do that.
- 1:40:20Speaker 5: You're in a lot of noises.
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: It's my. Yeah. This was fucking brutal.
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: What did I watch? I watched other things.
- 1:40:31Speaker 5: I had a pretty simple weekend. I did some comedy. Really?
- 1:40:34Speaker 1: Did some shows. How's that new closure that you've been
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: working on?
- 1:40:38Speaker 5: Great.
- 1:40:39Speaker 4: What's that like, comedy?
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: Fun.
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: How do you come up with your material?
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:40:44Speaker 5: Do you still get nervous? It's hard to explain.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: No, no. Did you always want to do that?
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, forever. Oh, man.
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: I can't imagine. Are you saying.
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: A joke right now?
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: That seems like the scariest thing of all time. I
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: could never.
- 1:40:56Speaker 5: No, it was fun, though. It was fun. I haven't
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: done spots in a minute, so it was fun going
- 1:40:59Speaker 5: to the stand, seeing my buddies, seeing my pals. Derek
- 1:41:02Speaker 5: D-Rock was there.
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: Dresher?
- 1:41:05Speaker 5: My boy D-Rock. Yep, Dresh.
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:41:08Speaker 5: We were just chopping it up, talking work and whatnot.
- 1:41:11Speaker 4: Holy shit.
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: Talking ball, talking work. That's electric. Yeah, so solid weekend.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: Did you knock him dead or what?
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: Come on.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: Standing ovation.
- 1:41:22Speaker 5: Standing ovation. Really?
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:24Speaker 5: It's rare people get a standing ovation for a 10-minute spot,
- 1:41:27Speaker 5: but I was able to get it done.
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: Where did you go in the lineup?
- 1:41:34Speaker 5: Second to last.
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: Very nice.
- 1:41:36Speaker 5: Both times.
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: Very nice.
- 1:41:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: I almost prefer it.
- 1:41:39Speaker 5: Oh, I do prefer it.
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: It's a little bit less pressure than going last.
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: And you get the crowd at their peak.
- 1:41:45Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: Instead of sometimes when you go last, it's like.
- 1:41:48Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: People are like, they're paying the tab. They're like, let's
- 1:41:50Speaker 5: get the fuck out of here. It's getting late because
- 1:41:51Speaker 5: the midnight spot, you know? So they're getting, people are
- 1:41:54Speaker 5: getting a little antsy.
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: Oh, it's midnight?
- 1:41:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:42:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry about that, bro.
- 1:42:01Speaker 5: No, I'll get it.
- 1:42:02Speaker 4: I'll get it. No sweat. My, I have some bad news.
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: Oh, no. My.
- 1:42:07Speaker 5: Is there a splinter in your hand?
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: Favorite rub and tug was raided. Oh, shit.
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:42:13Speaker 5: Were you there?
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: No.
- 1:42:15Speaker 5: Thank God.
- 1:42:15Speaker 4: But I'm pretty sure I once paid with a debit card,
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: so I think they're going to get me.
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: You're on the dossier.
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: Yeah, you're all over that.
- 1:42:22Speaker 4: Pretty silly.
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: I don't know. In Maine?
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: No, they don't have them in Maine.
- 1:42:28Speaker 5: I drafted Deshaun Watson.
- 1:42:30Speaker 4: They raided like 20 of them. They did a full-blown sting.
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: It was like when they killed all of Mike Ehrmantraut's
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: guys at the same time in Breaking Bad. They hit
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: them all at the same time.
- 1:42:42Speaker 5: They do that because they did that with all the
- 1:42:43Speaker 5: smoke shops in New York, too. I don't remember that.
- 1:42:46Speaker 5: It was all of a sudden they were just all gone. Yeah.
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: Apparently, like 20 cops went in undercover, all got jerked off.
- 1:42:54Speaker 4: And then they were like, yep, it's not legit.
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: Well, don't you have to bust to have them for
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: a crime?
- 1:43:02Speaker 5: Yeah, crime's not committed until you've released.
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: Until there's a transaction after the bust.
- 1:43:09Speaker 5: Because up until then, it's just a massage.
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: Unless they bust, there is no bust. Or it could
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: just be like two consenting lovers.
- 1:43:17Speaker 5: Yeah. And then like the first guy busts and then
- 1:43:19Speaker 5: the second guy is like, well, because that could have
- 1:43:21Speaker 5: been a one off. You know, you never know.
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: We need all 20 of us. All 20 of us
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: need to bust.
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: I just feel really bad for Coco.
- 1:43:29Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: Which is definitely her real name. Yeah. Because I don't
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: think she's got her papers in order. No. She was
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: getting close.
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: What nationality are they? Asian. Of course.
- 1:43:43Speaker 5: What do you think the longest someone's waited? How long
- 1:43:46Speaker 5: do you what do you think the longest someone's waited
- 1:43:49Speaker 5: for a rub and tug is?
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 1:43:52Speaker 5: Like if you got there and it's packed, it is slammed.
- 1:43:57Speaker 5: Do you like you think someone's sad?
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:43:59Speaker 5: And like read a magazine.
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: And waited. Like reading like Cigar Aficionado. Golf Weekly.
- 1:44:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44:05Speaker 5: In the lobby.
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: No, I'm fine.
- 1:44:07Speaker 5: Yeah. Do you guys have like coffee or?
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: Excuse me. Someone already did the crossword in this? To refresh.
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: The pages are stuck together in this?
- 1:44:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: I wonder if there's like lines like at the fro-yo places.
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: What's everyone waiting for?
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: Oh, Coco's in there. Coco's going viral on TikTok. Yeah,
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: Rub and Tug going viral.
- 1:44:31Speaker 5: Run, don't walk to this Rub and Tug in Brooklyn.
- 1:44:37Speaker 4: Double Dragon.
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: Is it in Brooklyn?
- 1:44:40Speaker 4: I mean, I'm mostly kidding. I just read an article
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: that- That is Sting? And they listed the one that
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: I went to before I realized how inhumane they were.
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: What, are they using cattle prods on them?
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: Apparently they just, they feed them gruel.
- 1:44:56Speaker 5: Blue worms.
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: They're just chained up.
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: These women were actually bred to be rubbing tugs.
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: Yeah, these.
- 1:45:03Speaker 5: Corn fed.
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: These worms were bred for this parlor.
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, man. They should let the worms do the
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: rubbing and tugging.
- 1:45:12Speaker 5: They really should.
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: Or do you think that, like, there'll be robots eventually
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: that do the rubbing and tugging?
- 1:45:18Speaker 5: Well, if that's the case, then wouldn't you just get
- 1:45:20Speaker 5: one for the crib? Or do you still want the
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: experience of going to the place?
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: That's like saying, would you get a live-in prostitute?
- 1:45:27Speaker 5: No, because it's a robot and not a human.
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but what's it going to do the rest of
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: the time?
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: Sit in the corner. Throw a fucking blanket over it.
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: And just recharge.
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: Dry.
- 1:45:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: Probably dry a little bit.
- 1:45:41Speaker 5: Maybe learn. Learn some new techniques.
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you know that the first wave of handjobs from
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: robots are going to result in some heavy castrations.
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: Did a dude die this week trying to get his
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: dick lengthened?
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: Yes, I believe so.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: I've been seeing out-of-context tweets about that online.
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: I think so.
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: Someone died trying to get their penis lengthened.
- 1:46:02Speaker 5: Died on the table.
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: Died on the table trying to extend their shrimp.
- 1:46:05Speaker 4: I've been trying to get mine shortened. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: Well, yours is a curly Q like a pigtail.
- 1:46:10Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: Just way too much slack.
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: You've been trying to get yours straightened.
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: It's like a slinky. It's like the spring that's at
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: the bottom of one of the horses that kids can
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: ride at a playground.
- 1:46:24Speaker 4: I currently have it bound.
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: Yeah. But whenever you untie it like a Chinese person's foot,
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: it blossoms.
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: If I died during a penis enlargement surgery, just tell
- 1:46:35Speaker 5: them I was getting like a fucking- Splinter removed? Something else.
- 1:46:40Speaker 5: Anything else.
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: Tell them I was like raping and pillaging. No. Tell
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: them I was a pedophile.
- 1:46:50Speaker 5: Tell him i was getting a fucking heart surgery.
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: He went to thailand to get it bro like i
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: don't think they care in thailand.
- 1:46:57Speaker 5: No like that's probably they got to be one of
- 1:46:59Speaker 5: the worst places to go to get it.
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: Yeah thailand they're doing that shit on the table like
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: when people are ass naked and have sushi served on
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: top of them you just have like a banyan leaf
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: wrapped around your dick.
- 1:47:13Speaker 5: What do they use for the enlargement like what where
- 1:47:16Speaker 5: is the other part of the penis coming from someone.
- 1:47:18Speaker 4: Else they use no they grab they take skin from
- 1:47:21Speaker 4: behind your ear and then graft it in as like
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: a splint.
- 1:47:26Speaker 5: Really yeah that's how do you know that um no
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: i guess wait why is some of your ear missing
- 1:47:35Speaker 5: oh what the fuck francis is uh.
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: Influencer dies after penis enlargement procedure. The fact that he
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: was an influencer too. Just be a civilian and get
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: your penis enlarged.
- 1:47:49Speaker 5: Maybe that place in Thailand was like flying him out
- 1:47:51Speaker 5: like bald stool.
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: Yeah, cock stool.
- 1:47:54Speaker 5: Yeah. We want to have you come out and get
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: your penis enlarged.
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: Hard stool.
- 1:47:59Speaker 5: It's going to be a whole thing.
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: Hard stool would be sick. Donnie needs to go to
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: Thailand for hard stool.
- 1:48:05Speaker 5: Hard stool. That's got to be like dying in a
- 1:48:10Speaker 5: surgery that's not a necessary surgery is so brutal. Like
- 1:48:15Speaker 5: imagine dying during imagine if someone died at Baldstool. Like,
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: holy shit, Mook died. Mook was, like, deciding for some
- 1:48:27Speaker 5: reason to get, like, his hairline fixed, even though it
- 1:48:30Speaker 5: didn't really need it. And he died.
- 1:48:32Speaker 4: And he died.
- 1:48:33Speaker 5: And he passed away.
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: And it happened before White Sox Dave's treatment. And White
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: Sox Dave was like, well, do I still get mine?
- 1:48:39Speaker 5: And then they made him.
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: Do I still get it? But he just got the
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: one Mook was going to get.
- 1:48:44Speaker 5: Dave's going to be pissed if you don't.
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: Dave just has a red hairline.
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: They use.
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: mooks donor ear cells oh god thank god mook didn't
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: die um i don't know where else i'd be able
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: to thank you for this but thank you for that
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: uh bush award that means the fucking world to me oh.
- 1:49:05Speaker 5: Well yeah i mean you pass it off to mac
- 1:49:07Speaker 5: which obviously we were thrilled that mac was willing to
- 1:49:09Speaker 5: accept yeah it's kind of like we're a little confused
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: why you denied it it was.
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: Kind of like uh kanye going up on i got
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: bush tell your i bush supporter of the year award
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: At their year-end ceremony. From Barstool.
- 1:49:21Speaker 5: Barstool supporter of the year. Like someone who works at Barstool. Right.
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: Not overall supporter.
- 1:49:27Speaker 4: I thought Roan spoke poorly about Barstool. He did. He did.
- 1:49:31Speaker 5: But he wore the hat during surviving Barstool like every episode.
- 1:49:34Speaker 4: Oh, that's what it was.
- 1:49:35Speaker 5: So we kind of had to give it to him.
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that I fucking put on the cape
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: for you guys.
- 1:49:41Speaker 5: And then he declined the award.
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: Well, it was more like- It was so bizarre.
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: I kind of Kanye Wested myself as if I was
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: Taylor Swift. And I was like, Ron, I'm going to
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: let you finish. But Mac had one of the best.
- 1:49:56Speaker 5: Seasons of all time. He gave it to Mac, which
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: we were thrilled that Mac was able to get it accepted.
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: I mean, Mac traveled with you guys. Mac was literally
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: on the road.
- 1:50:03Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, of course.
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: Mac went above and beyond.
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: This shouldn't be a popularity contest.
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: Was there anything with the award? Any sort of gift card?
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: No, no.
- 1:50:15Speaker 5: First year.
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: Was there like a t-shirt?
- 1:50:17Speaker 5: No, nothing.
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: No trophy?
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: There was nothing.
- 1:50:19Speaker 4: So it means nothing.
- 1:50:20Speaker 5: It means nothing.
- 1:50:21Speaker 4: So you literally passed nothing on.
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he passed it off to Mac.
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: I was like, thank you, but actually I'm going to
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: give this to Mac.
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: It wasn't even something that would take up space for Roan. No.
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: He still got rid of it. He refused it.
- 1:50:33Speaker 5: He refused it.
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: They couldn't even print out a fucking certificate.
- 1:50:37Speaker 5: Well, there's a lot of awards. We had like a
- 1:50:38Speaker 5: hundred awards.
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that could have been a hundred pieces of paper.
- 1:50:42Speaker 5: Well, we know we tried our best.
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: You did not.
- 1:50:45Speaker 4: Well, we did.
- 1:50:45Speaker 5: And next year, we'll make sure that there's some sort
- 1:50:49Speaker 5: of I mean, even this fantasy trophy, that's an award
- 1:50:53Speaker 5: that you would want. That was like $ 100. So if
- 1:50:56Speaker 5: we had 100 of those.
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: There's just no way that's true.
- 1:50:59Speaker 5: I bought it.
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: And? Which makes me even more sure that it wasn't $ 100.
- 1:51:03Speaker 1: You think there was going to be a price tag
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: on the bottom?
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: No, but I was making sure that I got it customized.
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: I got to give this to Brandon. I would want
- 1:51:12Speaker 5: this if.
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: I was him.
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't fly with it, though. It's like a
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: fucking weapon. I know. Who won last year?
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: Uh nick i believe and you didn't make one for
- 1:51:19Speaker 5: him no wow a2 sass because i got bounced from
- 1:51:22Speaker 5: the playoffs.
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: A2 little sass this is worse than the nicky smokes betrayal.
- 1:51:26Speaker 5: Yeah i'm gonna lock it in this year though because
- 1:51:28Speaker 5: last year i was in too many leagues and this
- 1:51:30Speaker 5: year i'm only in two so i'm ready to fully
- 1:51:34Speaker 5: do my duties as commish yeah you better Already receiving
- 1:51:39Speaker 5: the payments and stuff, which is we're already ahead of
- 1:51:41Speaker 5: where we were last year.
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: But you're not going to put those in escrow. You're
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: just going to spend that money.
- 1:51:46Speaker 5: I'm going to use it to buy an OLED. I'm
- 1:51:48Speaker 5: going to assume that I won the league. And I'm
- 1:51:53Speaker 5: going to buy an OLED TV.
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: Just buy a QLED. Don't be fucking greedy.
- 1:51:58Speaker 5: A QLED. You do not want a QLED.
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: There's no reason for a football game to look like
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: an OLED.
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: There is.
- 1:52:05Speaker 5: You just don't know what an OLED looks like.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: It looks like a neon sign.
- 1:52:08Speaker 5: No, it doesn't. Flies will probably- They're using that as
- 1:52:11Speaker 5: an example.
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: Fly into your shit and fucking die.
- 1:52:14Speaker 5: If you saw what an OLED looks like and then
- 1:52:17Speaker 5: you were like, oh my God, if this was a TV,
- 1:52:20Speaker 5: you would buy it. You would get that fucking bullshit
- 1:52:23Speaker 5: framed TV thrown in the trash.
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: Dude, a framed TV is classy and debonair.
- 1:52:29Speaker 4: It's not.
- 1:52:29Speaker 5: It's not classy. Then everyone goes, oh, look at this art. Oh, wait, no,
- 1:52:32Speaker 5: never mind. It's a TV.
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: Why does that matter?
- 1:52:36Speaker 5: Because it's not art. You got fake art.
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: You want something neon.
- 1:52:41Speaker 5: No, you're like, you don't want anyone, like, Francis, you
- 1:52:43Speaker 5: know what he's doing is devaluing your art. You buy
- 1:52:47Speaker 5: art for however much money. Rome could just put that
- 1:52:49Speaker 5: as a screensaver on his TV.
- 1:52:50Speaker 4: When you went back into the OLED thing, I shut
- 1:52:53Speaker 4: down so hard that I don't know what is being
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: said right now.
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: Francis pulled the parachute. We're still in free fall.
- 1:53:00Speaker 5: Yeah, it's because you guys don't.
- 1:53:02Speaker 4: You guys don't get it. In a million years, I
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: didn't think you were going to bring me back in.
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: So I apologize.
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: I am.
- 1:53:09Speaker 4: Do you need me?
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: I need you.
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: Well, then you're going to have to give me a
- 1:53:13Speaker 4: quick synopsis of.
- 1:53:14Speaker 5: What the issue is. I'm saying that the framed TV
- 1:53:18Speaker 5: is going to devalue your art.
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: No, not when you have a side Twombly. My art? Yes.
- 1:53:26Speaker 4: You can't get my painting on.
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: The frame TV. Stop trying to get Francis in on this.
- 1:53:30Speaker 4: I think it's mostly just ones that are like famous paintings.
- 1:53:35Speaker 5: No, you could definitely customize it.
- 1:53:37Speaker 4: No.
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: No, I mean, that's you're thinking of an aura frame.
- 1:53:41Speaker 5: It's a TV. You can put whatever you want on
- 1:53:43Speaker 5: a TV.
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:53:45Speaker 5: You ever heard of an HDMI cable?
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: The whole point of the frame is that it gives
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: you sort of this matte finish that looks like art. Yeah.
- 1:53:55Speaker 5: I'm sick to my stomach hearing this.
- 1:53:57Speaker 4: It's not just a projection.
- 1:53:58Speaker 5: A matte finish on a TV?
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like watching like somebody has like a tricked
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: out car. Did you even see what's happening? It looks
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: like you're watching Claymation anytime you watch football.
- 1:54:07Speaker 5: You know a matte finish screen is the cheapest screen
- 1:54:10Speaker 5: that they make. We call that an IPS. OLED, it's
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: like glass.
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't want that.
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: Yes, you do. No, a shiny glass. It's like if
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: you want to watch fish through a tank, maybe that
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: would be nice. There's no way you want to watch glass.
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: Maybe just get a reptile in a cage if you
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: want to look at something through glass.
- 1:54:31Speaker 4: Wow, look, Monet's water lilies are throbbing on screen. Yeah,
- 1:54:35Speaker 4: nobody wants that.
- 1:54:36Speaker 5: They're reverberating. When we go to the open this weekend,
- 1:54:39Speaker 5: why don't you stop by and you'll check out my OLED?
- 1:54:41Speaker 5: Because I have an OLED monitor, so I know what
- 1:54:44Speaker 5: it's like, and I want you to see it and
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: then be like, holy shit, you were right, this is insane.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: It's the opposite of something that you'd see at a
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: HomeGoods or a West Elm. It's too bright. It pops
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: too much.
- 1:54:59Speaker 4: I think I might have an OLED. You don't. Can
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: I just look up in my Amazon history and will
- 1:55:04Speaker 4: you believe me?
- 1:55:04Speaker 5: If you have one, yeah, I'll believe you. But you
- 1:55:07Speaker 5: don't have an OLED and not know you have an OLED?
- 1:55:10Speaker 4: Wait.
- 1:55:11Speaker 5: You've probably got a QLED, if I'm going to guess.
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: Why would Francis have anything other than the best?
- 1:55:16Speaker 5: That's a good question.
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: Francis only has the best, and that's in everything across
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: the board.
- 1:55:20Speaker 4: That's not necessarily true.
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: What's something that you have a subpar version of?
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: Well, there's things that I don't upgrade just because they work,
- 1:55:29Speaker 4: you know? uh why is this i don't tv okay
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: um wait you guys keep talking you guys are holding
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: it down pretty.
- 1:55:42Speaker 5: Much oh you have an oled.
- 1:55:44Speaker 4: On ordered on june 11th 2024 samsung 65 inch class
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: oled 4k S90C Series Quantum HD.
- 1:55:56Speaker 5: That's a man I respect.
- 1:55:57Speaker 4: And then, in 2023, I ordered the LGB2 Series 65-inch
- 1:56:03Speaker 4: Class OLED Smart TV.
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: Was that a gay TV?
- 1:56:06Speaker 5: You got two OLEDs?
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: I got two OLEDs.
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: So now you understand.
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: Well, I've never known any other thing, so I don't
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: notice it.
- 1:56:14Speaker 5: Like, look at that TV. That's not an OLED.
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: That's not a TV. Yes, it is. It's a monitor. No,
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: that's a TV. What? What? It's got the computer on it.
- 1:56:23Speaker 4: That's a monitor.
- 1:56:24Speaker 5: No, that's a TV.
- 1:56:27Speaker 4: I can't do this with you. Is that a TV?
- 1:56:30Speaker 4: Am I crazy?
- 1:56:30Speaker 5: I'm too hungry to have this conversation. We can end
- 1:56:33Speaker 5: the podcast, but that's definitely a TV.
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: I guess we'll never know.
- 1:56:40Speaker 5: I guess we'll never know. Well, congratulations, Roan. We're so, so,
- 1:56:45Speaker 5: so happy for you and so proud.
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: Sass, you're up.
- 1:56:50Speaker 5: Up with what?
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: You're up next.
- 1:56:52Speaker 4: You better win something.
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: You got to just win something.
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: Something big.
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: Francis just won a third of a million. I won
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: a quarter of a million. You have to at least
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: win a fifth of a million.
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: Well, we'll see.
- 1:57:03Speaker 5: My day will come eventually. But until then, I'm a loser.
- 1:57:09Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: We'll see you guys on Thursday. Goodbye.
