Grandview Heights Elects First Dog Mayor | Columbus News
Grandview Heights is electing its first-ever Dog Mayor — yes, a real canine commander-in-chief — in a quirky community initiative backed by The Wag dog park and bar. Residents can nominate their pups by September 16th; the top five will be chosen by a panel, then voted on by the public. The winner, selected for charisma and spark, will be sworn in October 9th and take on real duties — including leading the Memorial Day parade. It’s not just silliness: this furry leader will represent all local dogs and unite the town in pure, playful civic spirit. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli…
