- 0:18Speaker 5: This is America, Richiev.
- 0:20Speaker 4: You're on the air with the Nation of the Nation
- 0:22Speaker 4: with America.
- 0:23Speaker 5: With your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:27Speaker 4: What's up America. I am Rich Valdes Valdez with an
- 0:30Speaker 4: ask at Rich valdest on all of the social media.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Welcome to the Monday edition of the program. Happy to
- 0:36Speaker 4: be here, blessed to be with you. You know the
- 0:38Speaker 4: phone number eighty seven seven Valdes one, eight seven seven
- 0:42Speaker 4: valdest one if you want to join me. You're liberty
- 0:44Speaker 4: loving Latino amigo, right here seventeen blocks away from Madison
- 0:48Speaker 4: Square Garden, here in our Times Square studios on the
- 0:51Speaker 4: phone for our late night national town hall conversation. And
- 0:55Speaker 4: I am back. I am back, feeling pretty refreshed from
- 0:57Speaker 4: a few days off for spring break. And I'm also
- 1:01Speaker 4: going to be taking a few more days off because
- 1:02Speaker 4: of a conference I have to attend in Europe. That's
- 1:05Speaker 4: coming up in a few days. But first I want
- 1:06Speaker 4: to get into what a weekend it was. Lots of
- 1:09Speaker 4: things going on. I was on news Max a little
- 1:10Speaker 4: while ago on the Todd Starnes Show. We were talking
- 1:14Speaker 4: about this tweet that was put out by President Trump
- 1:18Speaker 4: coming to the defense of none other than the great One,
- 1:20Speaker 4: Mark Levin. And I'm going to get to that in
- 1:22Speaker 4: a moment, because I thought it was a worthy thing
- 1:25Speaker 4: to discuss. A matter of fact, I'll get to it now.
- 1:28Speaker 4: And I'll say this, there's a lot of talk about
- 1:30Speaker 4: a lot of things. Those of you who have been
- 1:31Speaker 4: listening to my show for a long time, you see
- 1:34Speaker 4: this already happening, right You've seen it happening. You've seen
- 1:38Speaker 4: my opposition to what is now being called the black
- 1:42Speaker 4: pillars or the woke Reich, as Mark Levin puts it.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I've called them what they are, populists right there, Johnny
- 1:50Speaker 4: come lately'es. And I don't begrudge them in any way.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I'm just saying, if you tell me we're going into battle,
- 1:57Speaker 4: who am I gonna trust? I'm gonna trust a truck
- 2:00Speaker 4: and true conservative like the great One Mark Levin. Mark's
- 2:03Speaker 4: positions haven't changed since I first heard him on the
- 2:05Speaker 4: radio on a Sunday afternoon on WABC nearly twenty years ago.
- 2:10Speaker 4: They've never changed because he stands on principle. That's what
- 2:14Speaker 4: I like to do as well. Now, some people go
- 2:18Speaker 4: with what is the popular thing to think, right. Some
- 2:22Speaker 4: of those people may be hosts that were once on MSNBC,
- 2:25Speaker 4: then on Fox News, and you think, how could somebody change.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Some people have nuanced opinions, some people say that the
- 2:34Speaker 4: party left them whatever. All I can tell you is this,
- 2:39Speaker 4: I'm not trying to take shots at anybody. I am
- 2:42Speaker 4: just saying, when it comes to me and who I'm
- 2:46Speaker 4: going to go into my political battles with, I'm going
- 2:48Speaker 4: in with somebody that I know I can trust, not
- 2:51Speaker 4: somebody who says, you know, I like six out of
- 2:53Speaker 4: ten of Trump's things, or I like four out of
- 2:55Speaker 4: ten of Trump's things. That's fine for you. It's his
- 2:58Speaker 4: job to build consensus. It's his job to get liberals
- 3:01Speaker 4: on board. It's his job to get conservatives on board,
- 3:03Speaker 4: moderates on board, everybody right, progressives even, that's his job,
- 3:08Speaker 4: and he did it. He cut into some of the
- 3:10Speaker 4: Bernie Bros. Some of the Bernie Bros. Are very anti war,
- 3:13Speaker 4: just like Trump is. So guess what they like him
- 3:16Speaker 4: when he becomes somebody that has to defend the United
- 3:19Speaker 4: States and take out Iran. And when I say defend
- 3:22Speaker 4: the United States, I'm talking about defending America's position on
- 3:27Speaker 4: the planet, our position of strength. Iran is drastically trying
- 3:33Speaker 4: to undercut the position of strength that the United States maintains.
- 3:38Speaker 4: When they do that by sponsoring terrorism through hesbo Lah,
- 3:43Speaker 4: through many of their other proxy groups, it's our job
- 3:48Speaker 4: to push back, and we have right. We have for
- 3:51Speaker 4: forever since I was a little kid. I can't remember
- 3:54Speaker 4: the last time that I've heard anything positive coming out
- 3:58Speaker 4: of Iran. I've never met in Aian that was like, oh,
- 4:01Speaker 4: you know, I freaking think Iran's the best. It's fantastic.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Those Malas man, what they've done with the country. I've
- 4:07Speaker 4: never heard that in my life. I don't even think
- 4:09Speaker 4: the people that support the Malas have even heard anything
- 4:12Speaker 4: like that, right, So I understand what it is now.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I say all of that to say there are some
- 4:19Speaker 4: people that feel like, Look, I like Trump, and I
- 4:21Speaker 4: don't like him anymore because he's That's okay, you don't
- 4:24Speaker 4: have to vote for him again. Haha, that's a joke, right,
- 4:27Speaker 4: You were never going to be able to vote for
- 4:29Speaker 4: him again. This is why he's doing what he's doing.
- 4:31Speaker 4: He's using his political capital extraordinarily wisely in my opinion. Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 4: is he giving Marco Rubio, jd Vance the rest of
- 4:38Speaker 4: those guys a hard way to go? Sure? First of all,
- 4:41Speaker 4: jd Vance never had that position, right, And I salute
- 4:44Speaker 4: him for his service to the country, right, being a
- 4:46Speaker 4: marine and all of his service, God bless him. But
- 4:50Speaker 4: I know that he by and large was always from
- 4:53Speaker 4: that crew, that crew of no more war crew. I
- 4:56Speaker 4: don't believe you can run this country that way. I
- 4:58Speaker 4: think you have to be able to run this country
- 5:00Speaker 4: by saying, look, we will get into more wars. We
- 5:03Speaker 4: don't want to get into more wars. Don't push our
- 5:06Speaker 4: hand to get into more wars. But if you're going
- 5:08Speaker 4: to continue your relentless pursuit for a nuclear weapon, then
- 5:11Speaker 4: we have to do our job as the global police. Now.
- 5:14Speaker 4: I know many of you think, oh, come on, rich now,
- 5:16Speaker 4: you're a neo Khon warhawk globalist. Yes, I've always been one.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I've always believed that the United States must maintain that position.
- 5:21Speaker 4: The minute we see that we become number two. How
- 5:25Speaker 4: do you not become number two? You stay number one.
- 5:27Speaker 4: We've forever had China and Russia, and Aron is a
- 5:31Speaker 4: third there right, trying to get at us, to move
- 5:34Speaker 4: us off our global position as the leader of the
- 5:37Speaker 4: free world, and we've maintained our position. Joe Biden seated
- 5:40Speaker 4: so much of that territory. Anyway, I'm not going to
- 5:42Speaker 4: stay on my soapbox here forever. I am going to
- 5:44Speaker 4: say this. Look, it's a necessary thing. Any of you
- 5:47Speaker 4: that have a gun in your house for home protection,
- 5:49Speaker 4: it's not there so you can keep it in a
- 5:50Speaker 4: lock box, never oil it, never use it. It's there
- 5:54Speaker 4: for one purpose, right, and I'm going to tell you
- 5:57Speaker 4: the purpose, whether you agree with me or not. The
- 5:58Speaker 4: gun is there to end life. It's not there to
- 6:03Speaker 4: scare people. It's not there for you to hunt, although
- 6:05Speaker 4: hunting involves the ending of life. It's not there for
- 6:09Speaker 4: you to have a false sense of security. It's there
- 6:11Speaker 4: for you to have the real sense of security that
- 6:14Speaker 4: if someone comes in to hurt you, your family, to
- 6:18Speaker 4: end your life, to damage your property, that you can
- 6:22Speaker 4: defend yourself by ending their life. This is in Hollywood.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Nobody here has the training to hit a knee cap.
- 6:30Speaker 4: This is why the police don't train for that. Any
- 6:32Speaker 4: gun training you've done Center Mass right, If you're lucky,
- 6:36Speaker 4: you get to in the body, one of the head. Anyway.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I don't mean to sound grim, but a drill is
- 6:43Speaker 4: to make holes. You changed a bit, it will push
- 6:46Speaker 4: in a screw or it'll take out a screw. That's
- 6:48Speaker 4: what drills do. Guns they shoot bullets for the purpose
- 6:52Speaker 4: of ending life. That's it, and don't make any bones
- 6:56Speaker 4: about it. That is the purpose. That's a tool that
- 6:59Speaker 4: you use to keep your family, your property, and the
- 7:02Speaker 4: lives of people around you safe. Well, it's the same
- 7:05Speaker 4: way when you're the United States. We have to take
- 7:07Speaker 4: this responsibility seriously and we have to say, hold on
- 7:10Speaker 4: a second. My job here is being the biggest guy
- 7:12Speaker 4: on the block. I've got to make sure that these
- 7:15Speaker 4: people who have proven their intent by way of opening
- 7:19Speaker 4: their parliamentary session saying death to America, death to Israel,
- 7:24Speaker 4: showing what they can do by funding the houthis by
- 7:26Speaker 4: funding has Bulock, we know exactly what they're all about.
- 7:29Speaker 4: By funding hamas we've seen this time it again, they
- 7:32Speaker 4: kill people that's what they do. They kill people, in
- 7:35Speaker 4: particular Jews and anybody else that they don't like, like Americans.
- 7:40Speaker 4: So whether it was the two hundred Semidd troops that
- 7:43Speaker 4: were killed in Lebanon many years ago, or it was
- 7:46Speaker 4: the people on October seventh when they attacked Israel, or
- 7:50Speaker 4: it was anyone of a number of attacks that we've seen.
- 7:54Speaker 4: I tink over two hundred US troops that have brain
- 7:56Speaker 4: damage traumatic brain injuries because of what the Houthi Rosible
- 8:00Speaker 4: have done. This is well documented that they will take
- 8:03Speaker 4: every shot they can take, and the second they have
- 8:06Speaker 4: such a device like a nuclear warhead, of course they're
- 8:09Speaker 4: coming after either Israel or US. Why wouldn't they. They're
- 8:12Speaker 4: doing absolutely everything they can right now to maintain relevance.
- 8:16Speaker 4: So you don't have to tell me twice that. If
- 8:19Speaker 4: Eran is even hinting that after the disaster in fourdoh FRDW,
- 8:27Speaker 4: the big mountain hideout where they had their nukes, if
- 8:30Speaker 4: they're still continuing even running their mouths about this, then yes,
- 8:33Speaker 4: go for it. Do not wait until the guy pulls
- 8:36Speaker 4: out the gun and it's in your face and you're
- 8:38Speaker 4: in a standoff. No, you see him reaching for the waistband.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Shoot first, ask questions later. That's how you stay alive.
- 8:45Speaker 4: We have people that we have to protect a country.
- 8:48Speaker 4: You have a family. The only way you stay number
- 8:50Speaker 4: one is making sure you're not number two. I'll be
- 8:52Speaker 4: right back. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Aldees.
- 8:55Speaker 5: This is America. This is a Marria. He's brown, he's bald,
- 9:11Speaker 5: and he's breaking it down.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Oh he's still has some what's his dad?
- 9:15Speaker 5: Rich Valdez?
- 9:17Speaker 4: All right, he goes, Welcome back. It's rich Valdez. Valdez
- 9:19Speaker 4: with an ass at. Rich valdesk on all of the
- 9:22Speaker 4: social media, and I get the opportunity to share some
- 9:25Speaker 4: of my favorite moments in life, you know, like my
- 9:30Speaker 4: going is on, not like my favorite moments of life
- 9:32Speaker 4: like becoming a dad and things like that. But I'm
- 9:34Speaker 4: talking about you know, like over the weekend, I had
- 9:36Speaker 4: the opportunity to go to the police benefit Galla for
- 9:40Speaker 4: an organization called Blue Lives Matter. NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani
- 9:44Speaker 4: was the keynote speaker. It was great to catch up
- 9:47Speaker 4: with him and so many great, great people. The family
- 9:52Speaker 4: of Detective Islam, who was the police officer that was
- 9:56Speaker 4: killed during a terrorist attack in the New York City
- 10:00Speaker 4: just some months ago. His family was honored and they
- 10:03Speaker 4: come to the support and aid of the families of
- 10:06Speaker 4: fallen police officers. And I was greatly moved by the
- 10:10Speaker 4: story of a little boy named Jacob. Was it Julian,
- 10:16Speaker 4: excuse me, Julian Galloway. His dad is a cop out
- 10:20Speaker 4: in Texas and made the acquaintance of some of the
- 10:22Speaker 4: NYPD guys that are involved with Blue Lives Matter, and
- 10:25Speaker 4: they invited him down here. The little boy ten years old.
- 10:28Speaker 4: God rest his soul. He's not with us anymore. He
- 10:31Speaker 4: was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and he was invited
- 10:36Speaker 4: to New York and they took him to the New
- 10:38Speaker 4: York State Police Barracks, to the New Jersey State Police Barracks,
- 10:42Speaker 4: a walk through through the airport with the port authority police,
- 10:45Speaker 4: with NYPD on the road doing a roll call with them.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I mean, he just visited so many different police departments
- 10:52Speaker 4: because it was his dream to become a cop. And
- 10:57Speaker 4: just a precious child, a beautiful family. I got to
- 10:59Speaker 4: sit at the table mom and dad, and obviously, as
- 11:01Speaker 4: somebody who you know speaks as much as I do,
- 11:03Speaker 4: you'd think I'm never at a loss for words. I
- 11:05Speaker 4: can tell you I had no words for them, and
- 11:07Speaker 4: I told them such I said, hey, I have no words,
- 11:10Speaker 4: but you people inspired me. You're very strong. God bless you.
- 11:13Speaker 4: A beautiful family, great kid. They've played this gorgeous video.
- 11:16Speaker 4: And normally I don't talk about this moshie stuff because
- 11:19Speaker 4: you know, gets me misdy eyed. But I'll say this,
- 11:22Speaker 4: that kid is a hero. In my book is family,
- 11:24Speaker 4: We're heroic. And how they handled losing a ten year
- 11:27Speaker 4: old child when they have two other children and it
- 11:32Speaker 4: was just a beautiful moment. Then the wake up call
- 11:35Speaker 4: for me was, Man, how dare I ever ever ever
- 11:40Speaker 4: complain again? I don't have the moral standing to do it.
- 11:46Speaker 4: My children are healthy for the most part. I am healthy.
- 11:49Speaker 4: I could be in a bad financial situation and still
- 11:53Speaker 4: be in a better situation than somebody that's dying or
- 11:56Speaker 4: just died of brain cancer. Right. You could be in
- 11:59Speaker 4: a lot lot of situations. You know, you might have
- 12:02Speaker 4: just gotten into a fender bender, gotten into you, name it,
- 12:05Speaker 4: whatever you want to pout about. Point was, it put
- 12:10Speaker 4: life in perspective for me, and it really gave me
- 12:12Speaker 4: a necessary dose of gratitude that I think I always
- 12:15Speaker 4: need in order to maintain humbleness or humility as the
- 12:19Speaker 4: right word, and I wanted to share that with you.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I was probably gonna share it a little bit later,
- 12:22Speaker 4: but now seem like the right time. By the way,
- 12:24Speaker 4: Rudy Giuliani man sharp as ever eighty I think he's
- 12:29Speaker 4: eighty two or he's going to be eighty two. God
- 12:31Speaker 4: bless him. He looked terrific. He was there doing a
- 12:34Speaker 4: heck of a job with his speech, and it was
- 12:38Speaker 4: just great to hear him. And you know, the elder Statesman,
- 12:41Speaker 4: you've got to really take your hat off to these
- 12:44Speaker 4: guys because they honestly are in a position that we
- 12:49Speaker 4: won't be in maybe ever, And the closest will ever
- 12:52Speaker 4: be is when we reach that age. Right, So, Rudy
- 12:55Speaker 4: Giuliani being I don't know, thirty five years older than me,
- 12:58Speaker 4: I think if that math is right, yeah, thirty five
- 13:01Speaker 4: years older than me. This is a man that's lived
- 13:04Speaker 4: a whole nother life and he's able to share what
- 13:09Speaker 4: he did in that life. And it's great because he
- 13:12Speaker 4: gets to juxtapose these things as United States Attorney for
- 13:15Speaker 4: the Southern District of New York, as what's the role
- 13:21Speaker 4: he had the Deputy Attorney General during the Reagan years, right,
- 13:25Speaker 4: so being in Washington, being in New York, putting away
- 13:27Speaker 4: the mob, taking on FARK, the Colombian terrorist organization, taking
- 13:34Speaker 4: on all sorts of things in his career, and it's
- 13:38Speaker 4: amazing to see. And the speech he gave was just
- 13:41Speaker 4: so great about his appreciation for law enforce enforcement, which
- 13:45Speaker 4: of course I also share an echo, but also about
- 13:49Speaker 4: the threat that the radicalization of the Islamic faith poses
- 13:57Speaker 4: not just to America but really to the world, and
- 14:00Speaker 4: how in the future I think people are going to
- 14:05Speaker 4: look back at this time, and just like we look
- 14:08Speaker 4: back at ending communism through the World War or through
- 14:13Speaker 4: Reagan's work to end the Cold War, people are going
- 14:17Speaker 4: to look back at this time where President Trump is
- 14:19Speaker 4: doing what he's doing, where President Trump is showing the
- 14:23Speaker 4: leadership that I think few people even understand. I mentioned
- 14:27Speaker 4: the other day and I'll mention it again briefly. My
- 14:29Speaker 4: friend Ruben, the Cuban you guys know him. He's the
- 14:32Speaker 4: one who came here from Cuba from Havana, Cuba to
- 14:35Speaker 4: Key West, Florida on a jet ski five and a
- 14:37Speaker 4: half hours with a Garmin GPS. He was not the driver,
- 14:41Speaker 4: and Rubin was and is a Trump hater, but he's
- 14:46Speaker 4: Cuban and he loves his country. And the other day
- 14:48Speaker 4: he told me, he said, you know what, Richie, I
- 14:49Speaker 4: think you're right. And I said, oh about what? And
- 14:52Speaker 4: he said, well, you know, you said that Trump had
- 14:55Speaker 4: to do all these things in order to do what
- 14:57Speaker 4: he's doing. He said, honestly, I see it now. He
- 15:00Speaker 4: said he had to refill the strategic reserve when he did,
- 15:04Speaker 4: he had to first take out Venezuela when he did,
- 15:08Speaker 4: so that we would have access to gas, because he
- 15:13Speaker 4: knew that Iran would react by closing the straight up
- 15:16Speaker 4: Hormuz and that gasces crisis would go through the roof,
- 15:20Speaker 4: he said. And it seems like he really had a
- 15:22Speaker 4: very well thought out plan here and he executed it.
- 15:27Speaker 4: And absolutely he executed it. I mean, this is this
- 15:32Speaker 4: is to me a master class in political gamesmanship and
- 15:35Speaker 4: statesmanship in geopolitical strategy. People love to shortchange Trump, but
- 15:41Speaker 4: let me tell you, I don't know anybody else who's
- 15:43Speaker 4: ever taken on around like this. People have been afraid
- 15:46Speaker 4: for years. Why because they had people sleepers in Mexico.
- 15:49Speaker 4: They got sleepers all over the news in Argentina right
- 15:54Speaker 4: now is talking about sleepers all over all over the
- 15:59Speaker 4: South of Maria Serican continent. So just imagine that that's
- 16:03Speaker 4: how pervasive their network is, because that's how the communists work.
- 16:07Speaker 4: And make no mistake, they are at heart Marxists. They
- 16:11Speaker 4: believe in the revolution, so they align themselves with these people.
- 16:16Speaker 4: The Venezuelans will be the first ones to tell you, yes,
- 16:18Speaker 4: we have Hesbalah. They're in Argentina, they're in Venezuela, they're
- 16:22Speaker 4: in Colombia. Because these guys all work together. General Blaine
- 16:27Speaker 4: Holt was on this program, I don't know, right before
- 16:29Speaker 4: the Iranian strike, and he shared with us that the
- 16:35Speaker 4: cartels are sending their people to get wartime experience to Ukraine,
- 16:40Speaker 4: working with the same exact mercenaries sometimes even with the
- 16:44Speaker 4: markings that say Ukraine on them. Mike Wagner group and
- 16:48Speaker 4: others that are out now in Mexico. So let it
- 16:53Speaker 4: come as no surprise these guys birds of a feather, right,
- 16:57Speaker 4: they all do flock together. So Trump realizing this first
- 17:01Speaker 4: thing he had to do is make really good friends
- 17:03Speaker 4: with these people, make sure he had some allies where
- 17:05Speaker 4: in South America. Javier Milay, the new governor, a new
- 17:11Speaker 4: mayor of mayor president of Chile in Central America with
- 17:19Speaker 4: Naib Bukeheley in El Salvador. These steps had to be
- 17:23Speaker 4: taken so that Trump could do what he had to do.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Then he went and made more alliances. Right, he couldn't
- 17:30Speaker 4: make alliances per se with NATO, but he made sure
- 17:34Speaker 4: he got people on board shoring up what he could.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Then he took it abroad Middle East and said, look,
- 17:41Speaker 4: the enemy of my enemy is my friend who wants
- 17:44Speaker 4: to be friends. We're about to choke this thing, and
- 17:47Speaker 4: you guys aren't going to sell any oil, but let's
- 17:49Speaker 4: make some deals. You help me, I help you. We're
- 17:52Speaker 4: going to take out Aron for good. He's been planning
- 17:54Speaker 4: this forever. This is true legacy making behavior for who
- 18:01Speaker 4: Maybe for him to hit a history book when he's
- 18:03Speaker 4: not around anymore, for people to pay him accolades or
- 18:06Speaker 4: hate on him, But who really benefits from this? I
- 18:09Speaker 4: do my children, do people to have another thirty or
- 18:12Speaker 4: forty years to live on this planet. Kudos to Trompito
- 18:16Speaker 4: for that. Kudos to bb Netanyaho. By the way, he's
- 18:19Speaker 4: not dead, right, they said, maybe he's dead. Maybe he's dead.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Maybe he's not dead. At least from what I can see,
- 18:24Speaker 4: he's not dead. Bibe Netanyah, who is scheduled to be
- 18:28Speaker 4: at a conference in Budapest, Hungary, this weekend. I think
- 18:31Speaker 4: it's rare that a prime minister will leave the command
- 18:36Speaker 4: center for a speech with one of his strongest allies
- 18:40Speaker 4: in Europe during a war. But as they say, this
- 18:45Speaker 4: war is ramping down, right, it's starting to cool off,
- 18:49Speaker 4: taking out ninety percent of the Navy and the Air Force,
- 18:53Speaker 4: and the surface to ground missiles of the Uranians of
- 18:56Speaker 4: the IRGC, as well as their entire leader, nearly their
- 19:00Speaker 4: entire fleet of major mind laying ships. So the straight
- 19:07Speaker 4: up our moves is pretty much from the reports secure,
- 19:14Speaker 4: and estimates are that in between fourteen and sixty days
- 19:20Speaker 4: or so, it's going to be back in business. President
- 19:23Speaker 4: Trump mentioning that what's really going on here is the
- 19:27Speaker 4: fact that these people are just scared. They were scared
- 19:30Speaker 4: for weeks ahead of this potential conflict that became a conflict,
- 19:33Speaker 4: and now they don't know if there's minds there or
- 19:35Speaker 4: there aren't minds there. So they're a little cautious, saying,
- 19:39Speaker 4: I don't want to move the ship. These big, you know,
- 19:42Speaker 4: billion dollar oil tankers, and I don't blame them. President
- 19:46Speaker 4: Trump again making a very astute move politically, in my opinion,
- 19:52Speaker 4: asking over the weekend and again on Monday, for NATO
- 19:57Speaker 4: partners to step it up, for NATO partners to say, hey, listen,
- 20:02Speaker 4: we are going to help you. We have some mind
- 20:06Speaker 4: detection ships. We're going to send them out there, or
- 20:08Speaker 4: we got your back. The only one that gave any
- 20:12Speaker 4: type of sure, I got you. Once everything's done and
- 20:14Speaker 4: there's no more missiles, we'll send an aircraft Gary, which
- 20:17Speaker 4: was the UK Keir Starmer, who's been no friend to
- 20:19Speaker 4: President Trump lately. So very interesting to see how things
- 20:23Speaker 4: are happening. And again Trump is putting them all on notice,
- 20:26Speaker 4: and he's expected to make more remarks on that tomorrow.
- 20:29Speaker 4: So as we get those, we'll bring them to you.
- 20:31Speaker 4: But again, this that ran stuff to me. It's got
- 20:34Speaker 4: me tired. Now there's a report in the New York
- 20:36Speaker 4: Post that I want to get to that I think
- 20:39Speaker 4: is very interesting, interesting because it's funny and it's news
- 20:46Speaker 4: I haven't heard before. Let's see here. This was published
- 20:50Speaker 4: seven o'clock this morning by the New York Post. Trump
- 20:53Speaker 4: has been briefed that Iran's new Supreme Leader, mosh Taba Khameni,
- 20:57Speaker 4: who is the son of Ali come as they say,
- 21:00Speaker 4: they looked at how many. I think it's a silent
- 21:03Speaker 4: k He's probably gay, and the President has a priceless reaction. Again,
- 21:09Speaker 4: this is a piece. According to The New York Post,
- 21:11Speaker 4: President Trump was stunned to learn that US intelligence is
- 21:14Speaker 4: now indicating the new Iranian Supreme Leader, mosh Taba Company,
- 21:18Speaker 4: may be gay and that his father, the late Ayatola
- 21:20Speaker 4: Onli Comedy, was knew about it and he was afraid
- 21:24Speaker 4: about his suitability to rule the Islamic Republic. For that
- 21:27Speaker 4: very reason, Trump couldn't contain his surprise and laughed out
- 21:31Speaker 4: loud when he was briefed on the intel. According to
- 21:33Speaker 4: sources that leaked this to The New York Post, others
- 21:37Speaker 4: in the room also said this is hilarious and they
- 21:41Speaker 4: joined the President's reaction, while one senior intelligence official saying
- 21:46Speaker 4: he hasn't stopped laughing about it for days. So this
- 21:51Speaker 4: shocking claim was described by The New York Post by
- 21:55Speaker 4: the intelligence officials that were there and a third person
- 21:58Speaker 4: who's close to the White House sharing with them. All
- 22:00Speaker 4: three sources say that the implausible sounding allegation is viewed
- 22:05Speaker 4: as credible by the US by agencies rather than false
- 22:08Speaker 4: information that's intended to undermine mister Kameni, who's fifty six,
- 22:14Speaker 4: because he was not selected by his dad while his
- 22:19Speaker 4: dad was alive, and that if he did feel he
- 22:21Speaker 4: was a suitable successor, he would have picked him then.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Two of the sources say that the intelligence indicated that
- 22:27Speaker 4: mosh Taba, who earned his nickname the Power behind the
- 22:31Speaker 4: Robes while serving as his dad's gatekeeper, had a long
- 22:35Speaker 4: term sexual relationship with his childhood tutor. The third source
- 22:39Speaker 4: said that the intelligence indicated that the affair was with
- 22:42Speaker 4: a person who formerly worked for the comedy Hameni family.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Mosh Taba, who is believed to be wounded severely, blind
- 22:53Speaker 4: in a coma and missing a leg from the same
- 22:56Speaker 4: airstrike on February twenty eighth that killed his father and
- 22:59Speaker 4: other members of his family and the Mulla Cabinet, if
- 23:04Speaker 4: you will, has been reportedly making has made aggressive sexual
- 23:11Speaker 4: overtures to men that have been caring for him in
- 23:14Speaker 4: the past, possibly while under the influence of heavy medication.
- 23:19Speaker 4: So the spy agencies do not have photographic evidence of
- 23:23Speaker 4: most Tava company having any alleged sexual attractions or anything
- 23:29Speaker 4: like that with men, But sources insisted that the tip
- 23:32Speaker 4: is solid, with one saying it was derived from one
- 23:35Speaker 4: of the most protected sources that the government has. Oh
- 23:39Speaker 4: if it's that protected, why do they have it? Aha
- 23:42Speaker 4: taste the soup. Taste the soup that is Eddie Murphy joke.
- 23:45Speaker 4: If you've never seen the taste of soup routine and
- 23:48Speaker 4: coming to America, it's priceless. Anyway, the fact that this
- 23:51Speaker 4: was elevated at the highest level shows you that some
- 23:54Speaker 4: of the confidence in this is genuine. According to a
- 23:58Speaker 4: second source, most ta sexual orientation had been whispered about
- 24:02Speaker 4: in the Mullah's circle and in Iran since at least
- 24:07Speaker 4: the last year or two, since May of twenty twenty four,
- 24:12Speaker 4: and then a helicopter crash that killed their president, Abraham Raisi.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Ali comedies presumed favorite was mister Raisi, who they thought
- 24:24Speaker 4: would be the next Supreme leader, but that didn't happen.
- 24:29Speaker 4: So anyway, the United States government saying this has been
- 24:32Speaker 4: a pretty closely held piece of information, and again this
- 24:35Speaker 4: may be one more piece in the disinformation war. Right
- 24:37Speaker 4: what they like to call the fog of war. But
- 24:39Speaker 4: it's funny nonetheless, right, it's funny because this is a
- 24:42Speaker 4: country where if you are gay it's punishable by death right.
- 24:45Speaker 4: They can throw you off a roof, they can stone you,
- 24:46Speaker 4: they can do whatever they do under their very extreme
- 24:50Speaker 4: sharial law. And it's just interesting to see what's going
- 24:55Speaker 4: on with the press right the things. And I get it.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Everybody needs a break. How many more you know? You
- 25:01Speaker 4: got NETANYAHUO out there pulling on his go the punch
- 25:04Speaker 4: cord in my pocket and he shows you you know
- 25:06Speaker 4: how many he had to accept to more than a
- 25:08Speaker 4: dozen of the top leaders in Iran that they needed
- 25:11Speaker 4: to take out. He's got them all x out off
- 25:13Speaker 4: the list. The only one that's left is the one
- 25:15Speaker 4: that they say is in Acoma, potentially alive. There's jokes
- 25:18Speaker 4: all over these memes that are making their way around
- 25:21Speaker 4: Twitter and everywhere else of the Ayahtola and he's made
- 25:24Speaker 4: out of cardboard, and they're like, no, no, it's me.
- 25:26Speaker 4: I'm alive, trust me, I'm here, you know. And then
- 25:28Speaker 4: they make fun of nahing Yaho's saying that he's got
- 25:30Speaker 4: six fingers and that it's Ai And listen, you can
- 25:34Speaker 4: do anything you want, say whatever you want. I very
- 25:37Speaker 4: much doubt I doubt it. I could be wrong, but
- 25:39Speaker 4: I very much doubt that Netanyahu's gonna have all these
- 25:43Speaker 4: pre planned AI things, or even after the fact, deep
- 25:46Speaker 4: fake AI things to make him look like he's alive.
- 25:48Speaker 6: For what.
- 25:49Speaker 4: So at the end, when they win against Israel, they
- 25:52Speaker 4: can say, yep, he was dead, but we wanted to
- 25:54Speaker 4: keep the charade on, to keep them. I mean, what
- 25:57Speaker 4: benefit is that. You know how many enemies Bbie has
- 26:00Speaker 4: in Israel that want to take him out, that want
- 26:03Speaker 4: to put him in jail if he was dead, I
- 26:05Speaker 4: would bet that it was probably one of those enemies, right,
- 26:08Speaker 4: kind of like Trump, all right, before Iran gets to Trump.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I'm sure there's a bunch of lefties that would like
- 26:13Speaker 4: to take out Trump. You know, look at God forbid
- 26:15Speaker 4: what happened to Charlie Kirk, Right. Everybody wants to blame
- 26:18Speaker 4: the Jews for that, the Mossad. The Mossad did everything.
- 26:20Speaker 4: You know, I got a stomachache, blamed the Mosad, But
- 26:23Speaker 4: in reality, it was just another lefty with a bone
- 26:27Speaker 4: to pick with his panties in a bunch. Sadly, I
- 26:32Speaker 4: continue anyway, mosh Taba, he's Mia. He's put out a
- 26:36Speaker 4: couple of statements. Nobody knows where he is, and now
- 26:39Speaker 4: we think wherever he is, he might be in the
- 26:43Speaker 4: company of a male companion out of up. I thought
- 26:47Speaker 4: a little gossip would be funny to end this segment,
- 26:49Speaker 4: don but that was a real report in the New
- 26:51Speaker 4: York Post. Anyway, I'm coming right back. There's more to
- 26:54Speaker 4: come straight ahead. Keep it locked right here. I am
- 26:56Speaker 4: Rich Valdes.
- 26:58Speaker 5: This is America. This is America.
- 27:15Speaker 4: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 27:18Speaker 4: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Oh, very good.
- 27:25Speaker 5: The honor is all yours.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Conservative talk with a dash of sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez.
- 27:36Speaker 4: All right, and he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, still
- 27:38Speaker 4: here with you. Uh still steal, I see steal, steal,
- 27:42Speaker 4: Stop to steal the state. I can't talk right now.
- 27:45Speaker 4: The Save Act is up for a vote in the
- 27:48Speaker 4: United States Senate tomorrow Tuesday, so we'll be giving you
- 27:52Speaker 4: some coverage on that as we get it.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Uh.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Leader Thune seems to be dragging his feet. I don't
- 27:58Speaker 4: know why. I don't know why he's so uninterested in
- 28:04Speaker 4: doing this. But the reality is the Save Act, you know,
- 28:07Speaker 4: as much as Jasmine Crockett, who was recent Jasmin Crockett,
- 28:12Speaker 4: by the way, I remember I was making fun of
- 28:14Speaker 4: her and about a week ago saying that she was,
- 28:17Speaker 4: you know, up for reelection. We'll see what happens. Well,
- 28:19Speaker 4: you know, she lost. She's gone. I think we talked
- 28:21Speaker 4: about that briefly, but she's out and she's making her
- 28:24Speaker 4: rounds tonight on MSNBC. She's discussing, you know, the the
- 28:32Speaker 4: drawbacks of the Save Act and how the Save Act
- 28:37Speaker 4: is really nothing more than voter suppression, right, that this
- 28:40Speaker 4: is a bad thing. And listen, what they're gonna say
- 28:46Speaker 4: about the Save Act is that it's gonna prevent people
- 28:50Speaker 4: from voting, that it's somehow gonna stop women, it's gonna
- 28:54Speaker 4: stop black people, a woman who's been married, her birth
- 28:57Speaker 4: certificate has to match. Whatever. Understand these arguments. I might
- 29:02Speaker 4: even agree with some of them if they seemed genuine,
- 29:06Speaker 4: but they don't. And the reason they don't is because
- 29:11Speaker 4: if you are truly making this case right that it's
- 29:16Speaker 4: going to stop people from voting, then you should have
- 29:20Speaker 4: been against that for everything. Right. If you're pro welfare
- 29:24Speaker 4: and you need, or even unemployment or even social Security,
- 29:30Speaker 4: any of those things, you've got to present ID. Sometimes
- 29:32Speaker 4: more than one ID. Shoot, anytime I need to make
- 29:35Speaker 4: a change for my car, I've got to bring seven
- 29:39Speaker 4: pieces of ID. It's a seven point system in the
- 29:42Speaker 4: state of New Jersey. So if you're against all these things,
- 29:46Speaker 4: then you should be against all these things. You should
- 29:49Speaker 4: say there's no reason a single mom with five mouths
- 29:52Speaker 4: to feed and not a man in sight to help
- 29:55Speaker 4: her should have to present ID so that she you
- 30:00Speaker 4: can get an EBT card, so that she can get
- 30:03Speaker 4: food stamps, so that she can get welfare or temporary
- 30:06Speaker 4: assistance for needy families. Taneth That is a sin and
- 30:10Speaker 4: that should stop right. That's the argument you should be making,
- 30:12Speaker 4: and you should have been making that argument now if
- 30:14Speaker 4: you tell me. Look, ten years ago, I was saying
- 30:16Speaker 4: it was wrong to ask for ID for welfare, and
- 30:19Speaker 4: now I'm saying it's wrong to ask for ID to vote.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Then I will take my hat and tip it to you,
- 30:24Speaker 4: sir or ma'am and say you are the real deal.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Whether I agree with you or not, you stand by
- 30:30Speaker 4: what you believe in. But you can't tell me that
- 30:34Speaker 4: You support ID for shoveling snow, you support ID for
- 30:39Speaker 4: driving a car, You support ID for just about every
- 30:42Speaker 4: single thing in this world, including you know, buying the
- 30:46Speaker 4: paraphernalia you need to smoke weed, all that stuff, and
- 30:51Speaker 4: that somehow it's got to be okay for voting right now.
- 30:56Speaker 4: You can turn on me, say, but voting isn't voting
- 30:59Speaker 4: is a rite, and smoking wheat and the rest of
- 31:00Speaker 4: those things are not rights. I understand that, But you
- 31:03Speaker 4: tell me what's more important being able to give your
- 31:08Speaker 4: crying baby some milk because you need food stamps or voting.
- 31:14Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, I think voting is extraordinarily important, But
- 31:17Speaker 4: when it comes to feeding a child that needs to eat,
- 31:20Speaker 4: I think that's more important. That's more emergent. And if anything,
- 31:27Speaker 4: you know, should should be where we're lenient, it should
- 31:29Speaker 4: be that, right. But no, no, no, we're not lenient
- 31:32Speaker 4: at all. So if we're not lenient with that, we
- 31:34Speaker 4: shouldn't be lenient with anything. To feed a crying baby
- 31:38Speaker 4: with food stamps, you need ID, then guess what you
- 31:40Speaker 4: should need ID to vote as well? Stop being a hypocrite.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Everybody knows we need ID to do everything around here.
- 31:48Speaker 4: So that's enough. Stop saying how it's voter suppression and
- 31:52Speaker 4: you're gonna get less of course you're gonna get less votes.
- 31:54Speaker 4: The fact that the people saying we don't want to
- 31:57Speaker 4: Save Actor coming out and saying I might consider voting
- 32:02Speaker 4: for it if you agree to not have ice at
- 32:05Speaker 4: the voting booths. Why on earth would we talk about
- 32:09Speaker 4: ice at the voting booth if if you're not planning
- 32:14Speaker 4: on having illegal aliens vote. And I think I played
- 32:16Speaker 4: that clip for you a couple of weeks ago. I mean,
- 32:19Speaker 4: it's just insane to me. But Jasmine Crockett, God bless
- 32:23Speaker 4: her what I say, bless her heart. She was on MSNBC,
- 32:29Speaker 4: which I think is now called ms NOW and she
- 32:33Speaker 4: was saying that when Texas put in their voter integrity
- 32:41Speaker 4: measures that Democrats lost votes. To me, it sounds like
- 32:48Speaker 4: this is an admission that the Save Act is something
- 32:50Speaker 4: that we need listen to.
- 32:51Speaker 2: This there was a benefit to shining a light on
- 32:55Speaker 2: what it was that they were trying to do in
- 32:57Speaker 2: the dark in Texas. So unfortunately we've seen our numbers
- 33:01Speaker 2: fall now that they have these voter restrictions in place.
- 33:05Speaker 2: But I do think it's important for.
- 33:06Speaker 6: Us to have the conversation around the we've seen our
- 33:10Speaker 6: numbers fall now that they have voter integrity measures in place.
- 33:18Speaker 4: All right, I think she said voter suppression. You've got
- 33:22Speaker 4: to You've got to be special, right, You've got to
- 33:25Speaker 4: be special. Obviously, if you have things designed to keep
- 33:28Speaker 4: illegality out, then guess what. It's probably working now. I
- 33:33Speaker 4: know some of you say, rich, you're so naive. They
- 33:36Speaker 4: say it's illegal. So's it's illegal for black people to vote,
- 33:39Speaker 4: it's illegal for women to vote, it's illegal for minorities
- 33:42Speaker 4: to vote. No, they're just saying, and I'm saying right now,
- 33:47Speaker 4: with the Say Act, I think it should be illegal
- 33:49Speaker 4: for people to vote without ID. Put it into sign
- 33:55Speaker 4: it now. You say, hey, look, we're gonna try and
- 34:00Speaker 4: implement this as quick as possible. I'm a realist. I
- 34:03Speaker 4: realize that we are eight months away or less seven
- 34:08Speaker 4: months and three weeks away from the midterm elections, and
- 34:14Speaker 4: we may, in fact not be able to implement this
- 34:16Speaker 4: in time. I hope we can, I really do. But
- 34:21Speaker 4: if we can't, you pass it now. Maybe that's part
- 34:23Speaker 4: of the deal to get it passed. You say, look,
- 34:25Speaker 4: we're going to get this in and it's going to
- 34:27Speaker 4: take place for the twenty eight presidential election or every
- 34:30Speaker 4: federal election thereafter, you know, maybe even twenty twenty seven
- 34:35Speaker 4: for congressional elections. I'm with it. I would prefer to
- 34:39Speaker 4: protect the midterm election because listen, I feel like if
- 34:43Speaker 4: we don't protect this election now and do something that's
- 34:45Speaker 4: going to drastically change things, there's a good chance that
- 34:50Speaker 4: more of the same could happen, and you put America
- 34:55Speaker 4: at war, you take all of these people with their
- 35:00Speaker 4: with their painties in a bunch, like Jasmine Crockett, who
- 35:02Speaker 4: just lost her Senate bid and now in effect is
- 35:04Speaker 4: going to lose her seat in Congress because she was redistricted.
- 35:09Speaker 4: These people are going to be out there in full force,
- 35:11Speaker 4: spending whatever money they have left in their Congressional leadership
- 35:14Speaker 4: fund or in any packs they're associated with, and they're coming.
- 35:18Speaker 4: They're coming for ed Trumpito, They're coming for Congress, They're
- 35:20Speaker 4: coming for the White House, They're coming for anything getting
- 35:22Speaker 4: their hands on. So, yeah, the urgency is there, but
- 35:26Speaker 4: I realize eight months may not be enough time to
- 35:28Speaker 4: do it, not when you got a leader like Thune
- 35:30Speaker 4: saying I can promise that we'll take a vote, but
- 35:33Speaker 4: I can't promise that it'll pass. I mean, how special
- 35:37Speaker 4: are you, sir? Very special? Indeed? Anyway, I want to
- 35:43Speaker 4: shift gears just a little bit here, a little bit
- 35:47Speaker 4: here to where was I? Ah? I want to talk
- 35:51Speaker 4: about Cuba. So El Trumpito, don all this. Magnus the
- 35:57Speaker 4: forty fifth and forty seventh president of these United States,
- 36:00Speaker 4: Ed Trompito, he made a prediction many years ago saying
- 36:09Speaker 4: that Cuba will one day be free and he might
- 36:16Speaker 4: be the president. How about that? Now? I thought that
- 36:19Speaker 4: was pretty interesting because he made this prediction twenty six
- 36:24Speaker 4: years ago. I mean, how about that El Trompito clairvoyant,
- 36:30Speaker 4: Miss Cleo. So now we can add that to his list,
- 36:33Speaker 4: just like Marco Rubio has a ton of jobs, Led
- 36:35Speaker 4: Trampito now has a ton of jobs himself being Miss Cleo.
- 36:40Speaker 4: If you don't know Miss Cleo, then that's I'm sorry,
- 36:42Speaker 4: that's on you. But listen to this. I got a
- 36:44Speaker 4: minute or two here on this clump clump, excuse me,
- 36:48Speaker 4: Take two with President Trump at something called La Fundacion
- 36:53Speaker 4: Nacional Cuano Americana. This again was twenty six years ago,
- 36:59Speaker 4: in the two thousand. Listen to don't know this, Magnus
- 37:03Speaker 4: ed don Peta, thank you very much.
- 37:06Speaker 7: I've had a lot of offers, and sadly, it's all
- 37:09Speaker 7: been very recently to go into Cuba on deals, business deals,
- 37:13Speaker 7: real estate and other deals, and I've rejected them on
- 37:16Speaker 7: the basis that I will go when Cuba's free.
- 37:22Speaker 4: As you know, and the people in this.
- 37:24Speaker 7: Room know better than anyone, putting money and investing money
- 37:27Speaker 7: in Cuba right now doesn't go to the people of Cuba.
- 37:30Speaker 7: It goes into the pockets.
- 37:31Speaker 5: Of cadel Casto.
- 37:33Speaker 1: He's a murderer, he's a killer, He's a bad guy
- 37:36Speaker 1: in every respect.
- 37:37Speaker 7: Casper's jails are full of dissidents, as you know very well.
- 37:42Speaker 7: His graveyards are full of patriots, and his government is
- 37:46Speaker 7: full of thoughts. And it's inconceivable to me when I
- 37:50Speaker 7: see the weak stance taken by our current administration.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Especially with the spirit in this room, because.
- 37:55Speaker 4: The spirit of the Cuban people.
- 37:57Speaker 7: Is beyond any spirit that I've seen by any people,
- 38:01Speaker 7: and I've been watching it for a.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Long time, and we can't allow him to get away
- 38:07Speaker 1: with this program of coming to this country, hiring our
- 38:11Speaker 1: best consultants, hiring our best lobbyists, and all of a sudden,
- 38:16Speaker 1: senators and various other people miraculously are on the side
- 38:21Speaker 1: of Fidel Castro. And now the battle is almost getting tougher,
- 38:25Speaker 1: and it should be a battle that would be.
- 38:27Speaker 4: One or almost one by now.
- 38:28Speaker 7: The point is that things can turn around, and they
- 38:32Speaker 7: can turn around very rapidly.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I believe that you will have victory. I believe you'll
- 38:39Speaker 1: have victory sooner rather.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Than later, and you will win.
- 38:45Speaker 7: You are going to win, and I'm going to be
- 38:48Speaker 7: down here and I'm going to watch you win.
- 38:50Speaker 4: I don't know what capacity I'll be.
- 38:51Speaker 7: I'll either be the greatest developer in the country or
- 38:55Speaker 7: the greatest president that you've had for a long time.
- 38:59Speaker 4: How about that? El Trumpito calling it right. He'll either
- 39:03Speaker 4: be the greatest developer or the greatest president. And guess what,
- 39:07Speaker 4: I think he might get both right after he's done
- 39:10Speaker 4: being the greatest president. And Cuba's ready for Trump Tower Havana.
- 39:16Speaker 4: I think he's gonna be there, or Trump Baradero right
- 39:19Speaker 4: because I think that's where he's going to be. I
- 39:21Speaker 4: think he's gonna be everywhere in the world once there's peace.
- 39:24Speaker 4: With peace comes commerce, and with commerce comes El Trompito
- 39:28Speaker 4: and everything and everybody else right, the iPhone, the android, bitcoin,
- 39:34Speaker 4: you name it. Peace. You need peace in order to
- 39:36Speaker 4: have all the rest of the stuff follow, my opinion, prosperity.
- 39:41Speaker 4: So that is again El Trumpito speaking at that Cuban
- 39:45Speaker 4: forum in the year two thousand, twenty six years ago.
- 39:49Speaker 4: I think that's something. Really, it really is impressive that
- 39:54Speaker 4: he's made these plans for quite a long time. It
- 39:59Speaker 4: impresses me, honestly. Go ahead, call me what you want anyway.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Uh here, I am almost an hour in his first
- 40:06Speaker 4: audio clip. I've played time flies when you're having fun,
- 40:09Speaker 4: and I've got so much to talk about. Plus tomorrow
- 40:12Speaker 4: Sat Patt's Day. We're gonna do some Saint Patty's Day
- 40:14Speaker 4: tomorrow as well. What else do I got here? Man,
- 40:17Speaker 4: There's a few things I want to talk about, But
- 40:19Speaker 4: let me see, let me see. I want to I
- 40:21Speaker 4: want to pace myself. I don't want to get too crazy,
- 40:24Speaker 4: too all over the place. But there is a lot
- 40:26Speaker 4: of interesting stuff out there. Right, let's see here and
- 40:30Speaker 4: let me see. Give me a moment. Don't rush me,
- 40:32Speaker 4: don't rush me. Oh, here we go. Well, this is
- 40:35Speaker 4: another good clip because it gives you the juxtaposition of
- 40:40Speaker 4: President Trump and what he's talking about Cuba today. Right,
- 40:46Speaker 4: This is fantastic. This is President Trump in the Oval
- 40:50Speaker 4: Office a little bit earlier today. Short clip, just a
- 40:54Speaker 4: couple of seconds. Listen to this. I think that's a
- 40:57Speaker 4: little low. Can we get a little volume on that.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Please please me a favor? Huh, thank you? Guard ahead,
- 41:03Speaker 4: I think you.
- 41:03Speaker 3: But in its own way, if you know, tourism and
- 41:06Speaker 3: everything else. It's a beautiful island, great weather. They're not
- 41:10Speaker 3: in a hurricane zone, which is nice for a change.
- 41:12Speaker 3: You know, they won't be asking us so money for
- 41:14Speaker 3: hurricanes every week. But I think Cuba c the end.
- 41:19Speaker 3: You know, all my life I've been hearing about the
- 41:20Speaker 3: United States and Cuba. When will the United States do it?
- 41:25Speaker 3: I do believe I'll be the honor of having the
- 41:28Speaker 3: honor of taking Cuba. That'd be good honor. That's a
- 41:33Speaker 3: big honor, taking Cube in some form, you know, taking Cuba.
- 41:37Speaker 3: I mean whether I free it, take it. I think
- 41:41Speaker 3: I could do anything I want with it.
- 41:42Speaker 1: You want another to a very weekend nation right now?
- 41:47Speaker 3: They were for a long time, very violent, very violent leaders.
- 41:53Speaker 4: I think you So that's Trump again, and Trump saying
- 41:57Speaker 4: I could do anything I want with it. You know,
- 42:00Speaker 4: I think people and maybe it's me, right, it could
- 42:02Speaker 4: be me, But I think when Trump says these things,
- 42:05Speaker 4: I think I could do whatever I want if if
- 42:07Speaker 4: I'm telling the truth, I think what happens here is
- 42:12Speaker 4: what he's saying is they're in such a week in
- 42:14Speaker 4: state that quite frankly, they're going to be willing to
- 42:17Speaker 4: cut whatever deal is available. And when you are the
- 42:19Speaker 4: one holding all the cards, then yeah, you're gonna get
- 42:21Speaker 4: your way. Now, maybe I said it a little bit
- 42:24Speaker 4: differently than he said it, but I think that's truly
- 42:26Speaker 4: the intent of what he means. But Trump does have
- 42:29Speaker 4: a way of speaking where people hear that and they go,
- 42:32Speaker 4: oh my gosh, we're going to go from one dictator
- 42:33Speaker 4: to another, right cause that's my buddy. Ruben hears that
- 42:36Speaker 4: and he'll say, oh my gosh, that guy sounds exactly
- 42:38Speaker 4: like Fidel. Quite frankly, if I'm telling the truth, I
- 42:40Speaker 4: could do whatever I want with it. Now, I'm not
- 42:41Speaker 4: criticizing Trump, I'd probably say the same thing. I think
- 42:44Speaker 4: that's kind of a New York way of saying things.
- 42:47Speaker 4: There's a lot of inferences that people would make on
- 42:50Speaker 4: the way New Yorkers communicate that I think would be wrong.
- 42:53Speaker 4: You know, just ask for directions. If you're ever a
- 42:55Speaker 4: tourist in New York, you might feel like they're yelling
- 42:57Speaker 4: at you, but they're actually being helpful and trying to
- 42:58Speaker 4: help you.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Yeah, take a left going around two blocks. Listen and
- 43:01Speaker 4: be pay attention. You gotta go that way, right. People
- 43:04Speaker 4: just don't always understand the New York isms. Anyway, that
- 43:09Speaker 4: is El Trompito's in all of this, Magnus anyway, straight ahead,
- 43:12Speaker 4: we're gonna get into a few other things beyond Cuba,
- 43:15Speaker 4: but I think it'd be great to see what happens
- 43:18Speaker 4: in Cuba. Marco Rubio in lots of talks. He's in
- 43:21Speaker 4: talks for stuff happening in Europe. He's in talks for
- 43:24Speaker 4: stuff with lavrov and with the folks from the Middle
- 43:29Speaker 4: East on what's going on with Iran. And this is
- 43:33Speaker 4: big stuff because we've got to make a deal here, right.
- 43:36Speaker 4: The Russians signaling they may be providing some support helpful
- 43:41Speaker 4: to the Iranians, and while this is largely over, you know,
- 43:47Speaker 4: a little bit of air support, even if it's in
- 43:49Speaker 4: terms of satellites or anything like that could really buy
- 43:53Speaker 4: them some time to regroup. And one thing we know,
- 43:57Speaker 4: like I said before, they are adamant right when we
- 43:59Speaker 4: talk about the there adam and they've shown us time
- 44:01Speaker 4: and again what they're all about. They've shown us time
- 44:04Speaker 4: and again, at least my entire lifetime, that they will
- 44:08Speaker 4: take people and kill them while they're sleeping marine barracks
- 44:13Speaker 4: in Beirut. They will take people that are flying on
- 44:18Speaker 4: an airplane and they will hijack that airplane and keep
- 44:21Speaker 4: them hostage for more than a year. That happened right
- 44:26Speaker 4: because Carter was weak. Reagan came in. He was strong
- 44:29Speaker 4: to let them go immediately. Why because they knew they
- 44:31Speaker 4: didn't want that smoke. They knew how far to go.
- 44:35Speaker 4: And that was the other Ayatola with a similar sounding
- 44:39Speaker 4: name that was Komany, not cow Many. He had the uh.
- 44:44Speaker 4: I guess he had the hard k because I never
- 44:47Speaker 4: heard them calling him how many, like they call this
- 44:49Speaker 4: guy how many. But what do I know? You know,
- 44:53Speaker 4: my whole life the place was called Kiev. Now all
- 44:55Speaker 4: of a sudden it's called Kiev. So you know, what
- 44:57Speaker 4: do I know? I'm lucky. I've been on a plane
- 44:59Speaker 4: two or three times to different parts of the world.
- 45:02Speaker 4: I speak one or two three languages, but nothing that
- 45:06Speaker 4: uses cyrillic letters, nothing that uses Sanskrit. I'd love to
- 45:11Speaker 4: learn a language that you know is not Latin based.
- 45:16Speaker 4: That would be pretty cool. Right to speak Farsia or Arabic,
- 45:22Speaker 4: I would love that. I think that'd be cool. Or
- 45:24Speaker 4: even Hindi, right the Urdu, the languages in India and Pakistan.
- 45:32Speaker 4: I think that's that's a cool thing. All right, open
- 45:34Speaker 4: your mind a little bit. I don't know anything about
- 45:36Speaker 4: it anyway, I want you to keep it locked right here.
- 45:39Speaker 4: I am Rich Valdez. The phone numbers eight seven seven
- 45:42Speaker 4: Valdes one, eight seven seven Valides one. If you want
- 45:45Speaker 4: to join us plus straight ahead. I have a I
- 45:48Speaker 4: don't know if it's a skit or if it's not
- 45:50Speaker 4: a skit of a woman. Now largely this stuff happens
- 45:54Speaker 4: on a ring camera. But she drops off some food,
- 45:58Speaker 4: like you know, like uber Eats or door Dash or
- 46:00Speaker 4: one of those food delivery services through an app, and
- 46:05Speaker 4: as soon as she puts it down, she looks at
- 46:07Speaker 4: her phone and she takes the food right back and leaves.
- 46:10Speaker 4: The guy comes out and he's like, Hey, that's my food.
- 46:12Speaker 4: What are you doing? Is that my burrito? And she's like, oh,
- 46:15Speaker 4: did you're the guy that didn't leave the tip. She's like,
- 46:17Speaker 4: as soon as I put the order down, I click
- 46:21Speaker 4: it on my phone and I'm able to see the tip,
- 46:23Speaker 4: and you didn't put a tip. So she's like, if
- 46:24Speaker 4: you didn't put a tip, you don't deserve to eat.
- 46:26Speaker 4: And they get it. That is back and forth, and again,
- 46:28Speaker 4: I don't know if it's staged or not, just to
- 46:30Speaker 4: make you know, Internet chatter interesting topic. I want to
- 46:32Speaker 4: get your thoughts on that. When we return, don't go anywhere.
- 46:35Speaker 4: I'm Rich Valdez.
- 46:36Speaker 5: This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 46:56Speaker 5: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 47:07Speaker 4: All right, I'mgo's Rich Valdess. Welcome back, of course, that
- 47:11Speaker 4: is Valdesta with an s here liberty loving Latino. I mago.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Happy to be here with you this evening. It is
- 47:15Speaker 4: truly an honor and a blessing. And thanks for putting
- 47:19Speaker 4: up with me. Thanks for being flexible with me, by
- 47:21Speaker 4: the way, on my schedule lately, it's been a little
- 47:25Speaker 4: bit sporadic, and I do appreciate your listenership, Please make
- 47:28Speaker 4: sure that you are subscribed and locked in on all
- 47:33Speaker 4: of the networks. So if you want to watch my show.
- 47:35Speaker 4: When we post those videos, we do post them after
- 47:37Speaker 4: we make them. Those are like the day after we
- 47:41Speaker 4: make them. Those are on Rumble exclusively. They're not on YouTube.
- 47:47Speaker 4: We do have one on YouTube, and I think we'll
- 47:49Speaker 4: be adding more to YouTube, but make sure you're subscribed
- 47:51Speaker 4: on YouTube. But the main place right now is Rumble.
- 47:53Speaker 4: We're trying to build our audience there. It's not easy
- 47:56Speaker 4: to build an audience in video. Even if you have
- 47:58Speaker 4: millions of radio listeners, that doesn't automatically become millions of
- 48:02Speaker 4: people on what I just said, video streaming. It's not
- 48:07Speaker 4: the same, but it is a great place to be.
- 48:09Speaker 4: Brings different types of advertisers, different honestly, a different type
- 48:13Speaker 4: of listener because those are watchers, right. Those are not
- 48:16Speaker 4: always people that want to hear what you have to say,
- 48:19Speaker 4: but they want to watch you say it. Different world, honestly,
- 48:21Speaker 4: it's one that always bewilders me. I tend to lock
- 48:26Speaker 4: in a lot better when I throw my headphones on
- 48:29Speaker 4: and where I'm kind of limited from the distraction of anything.
- 48:33Speaker 4: But the producer, and even that, it's got to be
- 48:35Speaker 4: a producer. I know what I like and I trust
- 48:37Speaker 4: because if it's a new producer or people walking in
- 48:39Speaker 4: and out of the control room that I could see
- 48:41Speaker 4: through the glass, guess what, that's also distracting. And I
- 48:45Speaker 4: wish I could say I was one of those professionals
- 48:47Speaker 4: that I could just you know, nothing phases me. No, no,
- 48:50Speaker 4: not really. I'm going this is my eighth year in
- 48:54Speaker 4: broadcasting talking on the microphone here, and yeah, it still
- 48:59Speaker 4: bothers me, even if you ever see me do TV
- 49:01Speaker 4: or even on these videos. I have one headphone on
- 49:04Speaker 4: instead of two, and it's in my ear the IFB
- 49:06Speaker 4: the small earpiece, and you probably can't even see it
- 49:08Speaker 4: in the videos. But having that in there doesn't give
- 49:12Speaker 4: you the same type of focus as having the big
- 49:16Speaker 4: headphones on. Right, The big head phones are kind of
- 49:18Speaker 4: like you know, pilots. You see pilots and you know
- 49:21Speaker 4: they're they're big obviously because they're in the air and
- 49:25Speaker 4: there's all that noise and the air noise, But same
- 49:28Speaker 4: type of thing. All right, You got a lot of
- 49:29Speaker 4: buttons in front of you, a lot of switches, a
- 49:31Speaker 4: lot of this, a lot of that you're locked in, right,
- 49:33Speaker 4: you kind of close yourself off from the world. It's
- 49:35Speaker 4: like my superhero Cape, if I could be so bold.
- 49:39Speaker 4: It's really just headphones, but in my mind superhero Cape. Anyway.
- 49:45Speaker 4: I say all that to say, please check out the video.
- 49:47Speaker 4: I would love it if you would subscribe. Thank you
- 49:49Speaker 4: for everybody I know. Our friend Al in Hawaii, mahallo
- 49:54Speaker 4: and Aloha al thank you for subscribing. Steve wolf Right,
- 49:57Speaker 4: our buddy Steve from the Carolinas. He's also locked in.
- 50:02Speaker 4: I just saw a message from him a little while ago,
- 50:04Speaker 4: so big thanks to them and everybody else. I spoke
- 50:08Speaker 4: with Gil By the way from the Philippines. He's doing well.
- 50:10Speaker 4: He's in good health. He says that he'll be calling
- 50:12Speaker 4: in and I'm looking forward to the rest of your calls.
- 50:14Speaker 4: Probably won't get to calls right now, but I promise
- 50:17Speaker 4: you if you call between the hours of eight pm
- 50:20Speaker 4: and nine pm, you may be able to get right through.
- 50:22Speaker 4: And if you don't leave a message, we can get
- 50:24Speaker 4: those messages on the air. As long as you you know,
- 50:28Speaker 4: you do it right, you do it well. And you
- 50:30Speaker 4: say I think Trump is this that the other? Because
- 50:32Speaker 4: of this that and the other on this and that topic.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Thank you, you know, and there's instructions on that when
- 50:38Speaker 4: you call eight seven seven Valdez one, which I think
- 50:40Speaker 4: makes it incredibly amazing. I got to tell you, I'm
- 50:43Speaker 4: happy for the AI that we have that is allowing
- 50:45Speaker 4: us to do so many things that we couldn't do
- 50:47Speaker 4: in the past. In the past, if you missed the show,
- 50:51Speaker 4: you missed the show. Now, if you missed the show,
- 50:53Speaker 4: you could listen to it later in the past. And
- 50:55Speaker 4: that's not whole AI. A lot of it is just technology,
- 50:58Speaker 4: but fantastic nonetheless. Anyway, all thirty nine individuals that were
- 51:04Speaker 4: participants in bum rushing a church I think it was
- 51:08Speaker 4: called Cities Church over in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with Don Lemon
- 51:14Speaker 4: immediately on the scene embedded with this militia that went
- 51:18Speaker 4: in there and stormed this church. Guess what, All thirty
- 51:22Speaker 4: nine of them have been arrested, every last one of
- 51:25Speaker 4: them by the Civil Rights Division and they're all being prosecuted.
- 51:30Speaker 4: I have to say kudos to Harmeat Dylan, the Deputy
- 51:35Speaker 4: Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, for doing what
- 51:38Speaker 4: she did and going after these people. Good for her.
- 51:41Speaker 4: This is a good thing. Also, Antifa, the Antifa group
- 51:46Speaker 4: that was responsible for shooting and ambushing ICE and CBP
- 51:51Speaker 4: officers outside of an ICE facility in Texas, Alvarado, Texas
- 51:55Speaker 4: to be exact, all found guilty. I thought that was
- 52:00Speaker 4: fantastic news. Fantastic speaking of being found guilty, I got
- 52:04Speaker 4: some crazy stories that I'm gonna get to tomorrow towards
- 52:08Speaker 4: the end of tomorrow show, the Saint Patrick Show that
- 52:10Speaker 4: are about these crazy stories that of people just being
- 52:14Speaker 4: found guilty and just crazy things they've done. One that
- 52:18Speaker 4: I meant to bring to you guys, and I don't
- 52:20Speaker 4: think I did, but I wanted to, like two weeks ago.
- 52:22Speaker 4: Another crazy story, I'll just mention it roommate. There's a
- 52:28Speaker 4: couple that had a roommate and they found out that
- 52:31Speaker 4: the roommate was poisoning them. And they did this by
- 52:35Speaker 4: using like nanny cams and hidden cams around the house.
- 52:38Speaker 4: And this guy was going around spraying stuff with roach
- 52:41Speaker 4: spray and other types of poisons on their fruit and
- 52:44Speaker 4: on other things that where they would eat or touch,
- 52:46Speaker 4: like handles in the kitchen and stuff like that, just
- 52:48Speaker 4: to get these people sick and makes me think he's
- 52:52Speaker 4: the sick one. So if I can find that story,
- 52:55Speaker 4: I'll share. It's a couple of weeks old, but man interesting.
- 52:58Speaker 4: We'll get to that as well tomorrow. But I wanted
- 53:01Speaker 4: to let you guys know that we will have of course,
- 53:04Speaker 4: you know, today's show, tomorrow's show, maybe even a show
- 53:07Speaker 4: on Wednesday. But Wednesday, I am scheduled to be traveling
- 53:17Speaker 4: in the afternoon given the DHS shutdown. That's why I'm saying,
- 53:20Speaker 4: maybe I may have to leave earlier, which may cut
- 53:23Speaker 4: into our showtime, and I may not be able to
- 53:27Speaker 4: be with you. But I'm traveling overseas for a conference,
- 53:30Speaker 4: and I'll give you this scoop on that once I
- 53:32Speaker 4: land and I'm safe, and I'll tell you what it's
- 53:34Speaker 4: all about. But that is, you know, always fun taking
- 53:38Speaker 4: the show on the road, and I will update you,
- 53:41Speaker 4: you know, from abroad as I can, because sometimes he can,
- 53:44Speaker 4: sometimes he can. With these uncertain times that we're going through,
- 53:48Speaker 4: you never know what's going on and how so rather
- 53:51Speaker 4: than sit it out, I am gonna go, you know,
- 53:54Speaker 4: with my helmet on. I will keep you up to
- 53:56Speaker 4: speed on what's going on. But I say that to
- 53:58Speaker 4: say thank you, because given this new digital format, it's uh,
- 54:04Speaker 4: it doesn't really make as much sense to have a
- 54:06Speaker 4: guest host. So it's kind of like I can play
- 54:09Speaker 4: a rerun, I can get the guys to put something
- 54:11Speaker 4: like that together, but I'd prefer to just be with
- 54:14Speaker 4: you when I can, but I will. I'm open to
- 54:16Speaker 4: your thoughts on that as well. But if you don't
- 54:19Speaker 4: hear from me for a few days, that's why trust
- 54:22Speaker 4: it all as well, I believe now I want to
- 54:25Speaker 4: get into this. Oh my gosh, there's so many things
- 54:29Speaker 4: I want to get to, you know what. I'll leave
- 54:31Speaker 4: that for tomorrow. It's kind of juicy. But over the
- 54:33Speaker 4: weekend there was this protest and there were people in
- 54:38Speaker 4: New York City supporting hes Blah, supporting Hamas. And I
- 54:44Speaker 4: don't mean like, you know, tacitly, I mean like full throatedly,
- 54:49Speaker 4: like we are hes Bala, you know we are Hamas.
- 54:52Speaker 4: I mean, it's crazy stuff. I will play that audio
- 54:54Speaker 4: for you too tomorrow, just because I wouldn't do it
- 54:56Speaker 4: justice if I did it right now. But I do
- 54:59Speaker 4: want to get into this, which is this audio clip
- 55:03Speaker 4: of this girl, this delivery food driver and yeah, yeah,
- 55:08Speaker 4: I said it right, and or food delivery driver. I
- 55:12Speaker 4: didn't say it right? Who just I don't know, walked
- 55:19Speaker 4: off with the food. And again, I don't know if
- 55:22Speaker 4: this is a skit or not. It looks, you know,
- 55:24Speaker 4: kind of genuine, like off of ring camera. But nonetheless,
- 55:31Speaker 4: this is fascinating, right, even if it is a social experiment.
- 55:34Speaker 4: And I want to have this conversation with you guys,
- 55:37Speaker 4: because to me, this is very interesting to say the least. Anyway,
- 55:43Speaker 4: let's let her rip. Let's get some volume on this
- 55:45Speaker 4: bad boy, go right ahead. So she put the food down,
- 55:57Speaker 4: she walked away, She sees the tip, She turns right
- 56:00Speaker 4: back around. She makes a face of disgust. She marches
- 56:03Speaker 4: right back up the stairs, snatches the bag and walks off.
- 56:07Speaker 4: Is that is that our burial?
- 56:09Speaker 1: Oh?
- 56:09Speaker 4: Yeah, well it was?
- 56:11Speaker 7: What do you mean?
- 56:12Speaker 4: We just where's my tip?
- 56:14Speaker 1: Bro?
- 56:15Speaker 4: If this is your hey, what's going on?
- 56:18Speaker 5: I can see once I deliver the orders? What's happening?
- 56:22Speaker 2: And you guys, did is that our food?
- 56:25Speaker 6: It was?
- 56:25Speaker 4: We don't have to deliver? Are you serious? That's like
- 56:29Speaker 4: sitting you're going out to eat, like not tipping your server.
- 56:32Speaker 2: So I'll give you the PA.
- 56:33Speaker 5: You give me a ten. No, you didn't cook the food.
- 56:35Speaker 4: You can change it in the app and I can
- 56:37Speaker 4: cook it. We didn't order it, so you just dropped
- 56:39Speaker 4: it off.
- 56:40Speaker 2: So can we have our food?
- 56:41Speaker 4: Blues? Are you serious?
- 56:42Speaker 7: I like drove and picked it up.
- 56:43Speaker 5: You guys didn't want to, like not even a mile away.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Dude, it doesn't matter then why didn't you mean that
- 56:50Speaker 3: you wanted me to do it, but you don't want
- 56:51Speaker 3: to pay me to do The app.
- 56:52Speaker 4: Pays you like twenty dollars. We pay those fees already.
- 56:55Speaker 7: AP pays me so little, it's ridiculous, Like can you stop?
- 56:59Speaker 6: And just no?
- 57:01Speaker 5: Are you.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Cash is better? I'm giving you cash is not.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Now Now, she takes the food out of the bag
- 57:15Speaker 4: and she's holding it and there going what this this?
- 57:18Speaker 4: This is where I think it could be like a skit,
- 57:20Speaker 4: but either way, it presents a fascinating question. Let's listen
- 57:24Speaker 4: to the rest. All Hey, no, we're gonna okay, okay,
- 57:29Speaker 4: you're reported report it? She said. He's like stop and
- 57:32Speaker 4: she walks away and she's like, what are you gonna
- 57:34Speaker 4: chase me? And the balls on her. She really is
- 57:37Speaker 4: a tough one. And the guy's like, okay, report it,
- 57:40Speaker 4: report it to his buddy. She's clearly the tougher of
- 57:42Speaker 4: all three of these.
- 57:43Speaker 5: People, we're gonna report.
- 57:47Speaker 3: I have I don't care, okay delivery, then you'll get more.
- 57:52Speaker 5: No not.
- 57:53Speaker 4: If we report you, then your prayer is gonna be
- 57:55Speaker 4: over your deliver It's not my career. And again, I
- 58:03Speaker 4: don't be grudge anybody doing this. I think this is
- 58:05Speaker 4: very honorable work. I use the service all the time
- 58:08Speaker 4: and I do tip. But the uh, the guy says
- 58:11Speaker 4: your career deal where she looks at him, like my career, Like, bro,
- 58:14Speaker 4: I'm just trying to make it ends meet. You know,
- 58:15Speaker 4: this is not a career and and she realizes she'll
- 58:18Speaker 4: just never deliver to them again because the Apple make
- 58:21Speaker 4: sure they're not paired again. Right, Very smart girl here,
- 58:24Speaker 4: at least in terms of understanding the system. The question
- 58:27Speaker 4: is was it ethical? Was it right?
- 58:30Speaker 5: The food didn't arrive.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Half an hour late? Was a mile away? You heard that?
- 58:35Speaker 4: She said, I'll just say that I dropped it off
- 58:37Speaker 4: and it disappeared, and they're going to say they never
- 58:39Speaker 4: got it and that's it.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Took so long.
- 58:47Speaker 4: And by the way, it's super rude to not tip
- 58:50Speaker 4: your delivery drivers in your service. I bet you're that
- 58:52Speaker 4: kind of guy that goes out on a day like
- 58:54Speaker 4: doesn't tip your service? Now she bets. They're those kind
- 58:57Speaker 4: of guys. This is where it gets really good. It's like,
- 59:00Speaker 4: is this stand up?
- 59:00Speaker 6: Is this?
- 59:01Speaker 4: Are they putting me on? What's going on here? Something
- 59:05Speaker 4: that's true?
- 59:08Speaker 5: But then they yeah, you shouldn't be.
- 59:26Speaker 2: You can't tip your freaking driver giving food.
- 59:29Speaker 4: They pay you enough.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Oh my god, this is this is what you get?
- 59:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a chicken burrito. Yeah. Yeah, she's opening
- 59:41Speaker 4: the burrito. Are you killing She's holding it hostage. She
- 59:48Speaker 4: took a bite, she throws it out, and the lettuce
- 59:52Speaker 4: is flying. Oh my god, I love it. I think
- 59:58Speaker 4: this is one of the best things I've seen. I
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: thought it was fantastic. Anyway, this was golden for me.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: I really enjoyed it. I really did, And I thought
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: to myself, I would love to speak with you guys
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: about this, and I honestly wish you were you know,
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: had five or ten people on hold right now ready
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: to chime in on this topic. But you know, you
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: can call me later or comment online or whatever, but
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: I'll still present the interesting aspects of it from my perspective,
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: right because I really am interested here. I think what
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: she did was wrong insomuch as being rude, and that's
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: it's the service industry, whatever service industry you're in. I
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: was a barber and I got tips, and I didn't
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: like it when I didn't get a tip. But guess what,
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: I would never say, you didn't tip me, you don't
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: get a haircut. I never did that. I would never
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: dare do that because guess what. My big days in
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: the hair cutting business were Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: lot of guys like to get the haircut real fresh,
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: especially the guys that had the tight fades, and that
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: was my specialty. So you know, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, what
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: did I do. I would deal with moms coming in
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: with little kids, old timers, a lot of old men
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: coming in in the morning, early in the morning. They
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: want a haircut, and they come in once a month,
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: and you know, that's what keeps your Monday through Wednesday
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: filled up. And I was closed on Monday, so really
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: just Tuesday and Wednesday, and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday was
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: my thing. And I was typically off on Sundays as well,
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: So I understand, right, I understand it. Also if you
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: go out to eat and you don't tip that's not cool.
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: I'm a tipper, But that's not the question here. The
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: question is is the waitress allowed to turn to you
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: and say, well, since you didn't tip, I'm going to
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: take a bite out of your food. Right. That's never happened, right,
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: It's never happened to me, at least, So I think
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: it's pretty interesting to see the entitlement, if you will,
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: of a situation like this. Now, I think some would
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: say she did the right thing. Good for her, because
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: you know, how dare you do that? And how dare
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: you stiff this girl? And listen, she looks like the
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: age of my kid. Right, My big girl is twenty
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: gonna be twenty five. This girl looks like she's twenty
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: five or twenty six years old. I get it. Everybody's
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: just trying to grind, especially if you're a delivery driver
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: or an uber driver. Anybody using a car. Gasoline was
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: cheap and now it's expensive again, right because of this
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: whole ran stuff. I get it. Insurance, buying tires, car
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: maintenance overall not cheap. You need to make good money
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: if you're using your car to make money. Understood, there's
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: overhead there. I guess what it really comes down to,
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: is I'm just curious to know what people think. Are
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: people on her side or are they on the side
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: of the two bros over here that ordered one burrito
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: and I'm guessing they were broke. If they ordered one
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: burrito and they were guess they were going to split it.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: I don't know, you know, maybe they didn't have a job,
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: or they didn't have money. But you know, I know
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: when I've ordered food through Uber Eats or through door
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Dash or grub Hub, I can tell you that I
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: feel like it's somewhere between five and nine dollars more
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: than it is if I would just go get it myself.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: So I've only done it when it makes sense or
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: it's worth the extra nine bucks for me to do that, right.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: They charge you a three dollars delivery fee, then there's
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: a percentage of it that goes to the app, plus
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: you know, whatever else they charge. I don't know. It's
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: always I normally get what I get from White Castle
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: when I go, I think it's twelve dollars, just under
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: thirteen bucks. When I order it from this thing, it's
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: like eighteen dollars. And then by the time it hits
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: my credit card, it's like twenty one dollars, you know,
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: especially if you put in a few bucks for tip.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: So clearly you're paying the premium and you're hoping it
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: gets there quick and you're hoping it gets their hot
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: and it's saving you some time. Say you're ordering while
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: you're on a commercial break right for the show. You're
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: doing that type of thing. But my point is, should
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: this be allowed? Is this a thing? Is this a
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: thing that we should be allowing and really applauding, right,
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: because you know some people that was on Twitter and
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: some of the people in the comments were really just like, yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: she's in the right, it's the right thing to do.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: How dare you? And I thought it was an overreaction
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: on her part. I really did. To me, that was
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: just excessive. And you know some people saying Ruth Brown says,
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: this is why tipping culture needs to end. Then Hans
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Marvel says, it's called stealing and you should report it
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: to the police. I say, she stole the food, which
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: she did. Then doctor Seuss kofif for Trump says, my
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: daughter used to be a door dash driver. The problem
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: is that when the order comes in, the tip is
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: already shown and then the customer, after receiving the order
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: is allowed to retur. Oh so that's an interesting factoid.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: I didn't know about it. People say, hey, here's five bucks,
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: so they get their food quick and then they take
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: the tip back. That's wrong, that's disgusting that nobody should
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: do that. And one saying, she seems a little crazy.
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: Why do we have to tip drivers again? And let
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: me see that this family plays what a Z says,
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: I myself originally come from the hospitality industry and was
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: trained as a restaurant person in the land of gastronomy
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: in France. I worked my way up from server to
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: head waiter, all the way to the restaurant manager position
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: before I eventually changed careers. And he goes on to say,
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: I think this tipping culture has completely gotten out of control.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Tips are voluntary, emphasized. You already pay for the food
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: and the service. A tip is a voluntary sign of appreciation.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: If an employer doesn't pay enough, then don't work for them,
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: or demand better conditions or reform. But the way things
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: are now, you're only hurting the gastronomy and restaurant industry.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: And you know, I think that's interesting because one of
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: my favorite restaurants. I go to it pretty often. I
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: stopped in there today for a coffee and I got
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: it and a screen pops up this says, do you
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: want a tip? And I hit the minimal tip, just
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: because you know, on the coffee and it's a very
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: affordable coffee. It was something like eighty cents the tip,
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: and I thought, all right, you know what, I'm going
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: to do it. But I thought to myself, they're always
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: good to me there, so I want them to be
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: able to split some tips at the end of the day.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: They work hard and they try to get your stuff quickly.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: But every place doesn't involve that level of service, Like
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: I went to one place where it's just a cashier.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: They don't serve anything. They don't really go out of
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: their way for anything. One girl I gave her I
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: think it was a two dollars tip, and she just
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: put I'll just put answer the question, and she said,
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: answer the question. I picked the middle tip just because
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: my daughter happened to have worked there when she was
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: in high school at that same place, and I always
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: have a soft spot, so I did. She saw me
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: hit it, and she didn't even say thank you, and
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: I was like, am I wrong? If I tell her, Hey,
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: I just give you a tip, why don't you say
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: thank you? I did not. I just went about my
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: business and thought to myself, I might consider not giving
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: her a tip since she didn't do anything other than
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: what she was going to do anyway, which was take
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: my order, punch a few buttons. Somebody in the back
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: was going to make the burger and they were going
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: to give it to me at the counter, and I
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: was going to walk out. It wasn't like there was
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: table service involved. But I thought to myself, Yeah, maybe
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: this tipping culture is out of control. I don't know,
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: but I could tell you the voting culture is out
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: of control. The radicalization of all sorts of culture is
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: out of control. And a lot of people are going
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: to be out of control in the bar scene tomorrow
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: because it's Saint Patrick's Day. So I'll leave it right
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: there for tonight. I always say, if you stand for nothing,
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: you fall for anything, and astall abrosima, you take care,
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: good night, and God bless you America. I'm Rich Valdez,
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: and this is America.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: This is America.
