A mom in Upper Hutt discovered alarming mold in a sealed bottle of Keri juice from a Happy Meal — her son thankfully didn’t drink straight from it. The juice was far from expired, and while she wasn’t blaming McDonald’s staff, she’s urging other parents to inspect their kids’ drinks, especially those in unopened bottles. McDonald’s offered a refund and asked for the bottle back, while Coca-Cola Europacific Partners NZ says they’re investigating.
