Trump's new tariffs and new annexation threats against Canada
U.S. President Donald Trump is set to announce a 25 per cent tariff on all steel and aluminum imports on Monday, including those from Canada. This announcement follows a recent interview with Fox News, where Trump, once again, expressed a desire to make Canada the 51st state. It all happens as Justin Trudeau is in France for what may be his final overseas trip as Canada’s Prime Minister, attending a summit focused on artificial intelligence -- overshadowed by America's economic threats.
