  from paper 156 the teachings of Jesus at Tire because it's a

  little bit relative to what we're talking about in the
• 1:13
  current life and how how, how we integrate God into our life even
• 1:18
  in the modern age. But first, I want to kind of
• 1:21
  follow up with you on the Cave of the Apocalypse.

  Remember, in the last pot podcast, we talked about John
• 1:27
  and the twenty-four Elders which was part of the Revelation that
• 1:31
  he received when he was exiled on the island of Patmos.

  This paragraph which describes the Cave of the Apocalypse comes
• 1:40
  from Wikipedia, don't know who the author was, but they need
• 1:44
  seem to have a, their thumb on something and it sounds eerily
• 1:48
  similar to someone who may have been familiar with the Rancho
• 1:52
  book. So let me read it to you.

  I actually signed up to change something because they had they
• 1:59
  had mentioned that. John was an apostle or no, a
• 2:02
  disciple. And I wrote Wikipedia, and I
• 2:05
  said, no, no. He wasn't a disciple.

  He was, he was an apostle was a big difference.

  And this is how they describe the Cave of the apocalypse,
• 2:15
  which is where John received his Revelation.

  The Revelation that appears in scripture from the earliest
• 2:22
  known times of Jesus Christ. There were passages in the
• 2:25
  gospels that made it evident that Jesus himself believed that
• 2:29
  the apocalypse was to occur at some point in time.

  He pointed out to his disciples that there would be signs such
• 2:37
  as war and conflict. In the world was on the verge of
• 2:40
  coming to an end. He also warned them all that.
• 2:43
  These signs would take place during their lifetime before he
• 2:46
  was arrested and taken away. This idea of the Apocalypse was
• 2:50
  serious for the early church when Jesus Christ died, as they
• 2:53
  were left in panic of his final words.

  However, when he rose again on the third day, the apocalyptic
• 2:59
  portions of the text became discouraged as Christians
• 3:02
  believe their savior had returned after Saint, John of
• 3:07
  Patmos was sent to the island to serve his print prison sentence.
• 3:11
  And received his visions of the Apocalypse.
• 3:13
  He sent his writings to the churches, which caused the fear
• 3:17
  and the possibility of the Apocalypse to return and
• 3:20
  Christian religion. This change in Christian,
• 3:23
  theology is now associated with the Cave of the Apocalypse.
• 3:27
  As it is the origin of st. John's visions and the location
• 3:32
  of the theological change. Now, that's an interesting
• 3:35
  statement because what this author is saying is that the,
• 3:39
  the idea of the second coming NG was factually stated.
• 3:44
  He even corroborated by the Rancho book in the eyes of the
• 3:47
  Apostles and the teachers in the disciples when Christ died.
• 3:52
  They expected him to return within their lifetime.
• 3:57
  And so consequently, every age after that Christians, have
• 4:02
  expected that Christ would return and I want to read from
• 4:08
  you now from the actual Urantia book, what Christ says about his
• 4:13
  return And this is what he writes from paper 176, you
• 4:18
  behold me now at weakness and in the flesh.
• 4:20
  But when I returned, it shall be with power, and in the spirit,
• 4:25
  the eyes of Flesh beholds, the son of man in the flesh.
• 4:28
  But only the eye of the spirit will behold the son of man
• 4:31
  glorified by the father and appearing on Earth in his own
• 4:34
  name. But the times of the reappearing
• 4:38
  of the son of man are only known in the council's of paradise,
• 4:42
  not even his angels of heaven know when this will occur.
• 4:45
  However, you should understand when this Gospel of the Kingdom
• 4:48
  shall have been proclaimed to all the world for the Salvation
• 4:52
  of all peoples. And when the fullness of the age
• 4:55
  has come to pass, the father will send you another
• 4:57
  dispensational bestowal or else, the son of man will return to
• 5:02
  adjudge the age and now concerning the travail of
• 5:06
  Jerusalem about which I have spoken to you.
• 5:08
  Even this generation will not pass away until my words are
• 5:12
  fulfilled. And in other words, what he's
• 5:15
  saying is I told you to things, I said I would come back.

  And I told you Jerusalem would be destroyed.

  You're going to see Jerusalem be destroyed but that may not be
• 5:28
  when I'm going to return. They forgot the second part and
• 5:33
  that's what Wikipedia is referring to.

  Even this generation will not pass away until my words are
• 5:38
  fulfilled. But concerning the times of the
• 5:40
  coming of, again, of the son of man, no one in heaven or on
• 5:44
  Earth May presume to speak, but you should be wise regarding the
• 5:48
  ripening of an age, you should be alert to discern the signs of
• 5:52
  the times, you know, when the fig trees show its tender
• 5:55
  branches and puts forth. Its leaves that summer is near
• 5:59
  likewise. When the world has passed
• 6:01
  through The Long Winter of material mindedness and you
• 6:04
  discern the Coming of the spiritual Springtime of a new
• 6:08
  dispensation. Should, you know that the
• 6:11
  summertime of a new visitation draws near?

  But what is the significance of this teaching have to do with
• 6:18
  the coming of the son of the sons of God?
• 6:21
  Do you not perceive that when each of you is called to lay
• 6:24
  down his life struggle and pass for the portal death, you stand
• 6:29
  in the immediate presence of judgment and that you are face
• 6:32
  to face with the facts of a new dispensation of service in the
• 6:36
  Eternal plan of the infinite father.
• 6:40
  What the whole world must face as a literal fact.
• 6:42
  At the end of an age, you as individuals must each, most,
• 6:47
  certainly face as a personal experience, when you reach the
• 6:51
  end of your natural life and thereby pass on to be confronted
• 6:55
  with a conditions and demands inherent in the next revelation
• 7:00
  of the Eternal progression of the father's Kingdom.

  So that's Jesus talking about when he's going to return what
• 7:09
  to expect he continues on 176. Each generation of Believers.

  Should Terry on their work in view of the possible Return of
• 7:18
  the son of man. Exactly as each individual
• 7:21
  believes and by faith, once establishing yourself as a Son
• 7:26
  of God, nothing else matters as regards.

  The Surety of survival but make no mistake.

  This survival, faith is a living. faith and it

  increasingly manifest, the fruits of that Divine Spirit,

  which first inspired it in the human heart that you have, once

  accepted the sonship of the Heavenly Kingdom will not save

  you in the face of the knowing and persistent rejection of

  those truth would have, which have to do with the progressive
• 7:55
  spiritual fruit, bearing of the sons of God In the Flesh, you

  who have been with me in the father's business on Earth can

  now even dessert the kingdom if you find that you love not the
• 8:06
  way of the father, service for mankind, As individuals and as
• 8:12
  generations of Believers hear me while I speak a parable.

  There was a certain great man who before starting out on a
• 8:20
  long journey, to another country called all his trusted servants
• 8:25
  before him and delivered into their hands all his Goods.
• 8:29
  To one, he gave five talents to another two and to another one.
• 8:34
  And so on down through the entire group of honored,
• 8:37
  stewards to each he entrusted the goods.
• 8:39
  According to their several abilities.
• 8:42
  And then he sat out on his journey.
• 8:45
  When their lord had departed, his servants set themselves at
• 8:49
  work to gain profits from the wealth from the wealth and
• 8:52
  trusted to them immediately. He who had received five talents
• 8:57
  began to trade with them and very soon he made a profit of
• 9:01
  another five talents in like manner, he who had received two
• 9:05
  talents soon, had gained two more and so did all of the
• 9:08
  servants make gains of their Master except him who received
• 9:12
  but one Talent. He went away by himself and dug
• 9:16
  a hole in the Earth where he hid his Lords money.

  Presently. The Lord of those servants

  unexpectedly returned and called upon his stewards for a
• 9:27
  reckoning. And when they had all been
• 9:29
  called before their Master, he who had received the five
• 9:32
  talents came forward with the money, which had been entrusted
• 9:36
  to him and brought five additional talents, saying, to
• 9:40
  the Lord, you gave me five talents to invest, and I'm glad
• 9:44
  to present five other talents as my game.
• 9:47
  And then the Lord said to him. Well done.
• 9:50
  Good and faithful servant you have been Faithful over.
• 9:52
  A few things I will now set you as Steward over many, enter
• 9:57
  forthwith into the joy of your Lord.
• 9:59
  Amen, he would receive the two talents came forward.

  Saying Lord, you have delivered into my hands to talents behold.

  I have gained these two other talents and his Lord then said
• 10:10
  to him well done, good and faithful Steward.
• 10:13
  You have also been Faithful over a few things and now I will I'll
• 10:17
  set you over many, enter you into the joy of your Lord And
• 10:22
  Then There came to the accounting he who had received
• 10:25
  the one Talent this servant came forward saying, Lord, I knew you
• 10:29
  and realize that you are shrewd man in the you expected gains

  when you had not personally labored, therefore I was afraid
• 10:36
  to risk awed of that, which has been entrusted to me.

  I safely, hid your talent in the earth.
• 10:42
  Here it is. You now have what belongs to
• 10:45
  you. Lord answered.

  You are an indolent and slothful Stewart by your own words.
• 10:52
  You confess that you knew. I would require of you and
• 10:55
  accounting with reasonable profit such as your diligent
• 10:59
  fellow servants. Have this day rendered, knowing
• 11:02
  this, you ought therefore to have at least put my money into
• 11:05
  the hands of the bankers that on my return.
• 11:08
  I might have received my own with interest and then, to the
• 11:12
  chief steward, this lord said, take away this one Talent from
• 11:16
  this unprofitable, Well, servant and give it to him, who has ten
• 11:19
  talents and then filing from paper 176 or Section 3,
• 11:24
  paragraph 5, quote, to everyone who has more shall be given and
• 11:28
  he shall have abundance. But from him who has not even
• 11:31
  that, which he has shall be taken away.
• 11:34
  You cannot stand still in the Affairs of the Eternal Kingdom.
• 11:37
  My father requires all his children to grow in Grace and in
• 11:41
  knowledge of the truth. You who know these truths must
• 11:45
  yield, the increase of the fruits of the spirit and
• 11:49
  manifest a growing Devotion to the unselfish service of your
• 11:53
  fellow servants. And remember that in as much as
• 11:57
  you minister to one of the least of my brethren, you have done
• 12:01
  this service to me and then finally he says.
• 12:04
  And so should you go about the work of the father's business
• 12:07
  now and henceforth even forever more.
• 12:11
  Carry on until I come in faithfulness, do this, which is
• 12:16
  entrusted to you and thereby shall you be ready for the
• 12:19
  Reckoning call of death having thus lived for the glory of the
• 12:22
  father and the satisfaction of the sun?
• 12:25
  You shall enter with joy and exceedingly, great pleasure into
• 12:29
  the Eternal service of the Everlasting Kingdom.

  Now, I look at that and I read it again through the lens of a
• 12:38
  Urantia book reader. Here's an interesting statement
• 12:42
  that he that Jesus made. He says my roof, my father
• 12:45
  requires all his children to grow in Grace and in knowledge
• 12:49
  of the truth, you who know these truths must yield the increase
• 12:54
  of the truths of the spirit. So what Jesus is telling us is
• 12:58
  if we have access to a better understanding of the truth, and
• 13:04
  if the father requires all of us to grow and Grace, then it's
• 13:09
  incumbent upon us. To share the truth with people.
• 13:14
  And help them grow because just like that person who may be
• 13:18
  ignorant of the truth. you've got a situation where You're
• 13:25
  giving the truth you're given talents.
• 13:28
  Are you going to hold on to those truths?
• 13:30
  Are you going to keep those talents safe?
• 13:33
  Or are you going to do something to help it grow?
• 13:38
  Now it may not be Our obligation to go about and set a new church
• 13:41
  or you know go stand on a street corner and yell your Ranch a
• 13:46
  book you're in trouble. But what it does mean is that we
• 13:49
  have to be active about trying to help people.
• 13:52
  It is in our Tsar devotion, in our unselfish service that we
• 13:57
  can give the truth to other people and it will help them in
• 14:01
  their own truth discovery. I put this podcast is about,

  that's what your Ranch a book is about.

  And it's great to be able to read the full text of Jesus
• 14:18
  teachings, isn't it? Because I bet you, if I read
• 14:20
  that in the Bible, it would be, what do they call that edited?

  The the edited version, the condensed version, But he really

  explains not only why it's important that as stewards of
• 14:35
  the truth that we are expected. You know, he who has been given
• 14:39
  much is expected much. This may be the first time where
• 14:43
  I've been this assertive about it but in light of all that's
• 14:48
  going on in the world. And the fact that I think so
• 14:51
  many people are Desperate. Think about what's happening in
• 14:57
  the world today. With young children, they're
• 15:00
  being taught that there's no such thing as truth and that
• 15:04
  they should go and find their own truth and that they're
• 15:07
  allowed to have any truth that they want.
• 15:09
  Their minds are being filled with this sort of elastic
• 15:13
  version of temporal reality where you can bend it and shape
• 15:17
  it into anything that you want. And the ranch a book.

  It says that we have social duties, we have a cosmic Duty Of
• 15:28
  service. You know, a lot of what's
• 15:30
  happening in Western culture. In my opinion, represents much
• 15:36
  of what the Lucifer rebellion was all about.

  Lucifer, Rebellion, because we've never really touched on
• 15:45
  it, but he was of the same mind. There is no truth.

  You have unbridled Liberty, you can do whatever you want.

  Why are you giving these people power over your lives?

  They can't do anything to you. And that's exactly what they're

  teaching in our schools today. I everyday, I see something

  about empowering the children in powering, you know, any subgroup

  you can pick but that's not the attitude of the Rancho book and

  that certainly not the attitude. We have a cosmic obligation to

  duty to serve others. There's going to be a really

  cool event coming up and I want to get to it.

  It's the study summer session. They match event to Melchizedek

  preserving truth and lighting the way for future Revelations.

  It's going to be held at the Hilton Chicago at the Oak, Brook
