- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring lids Australia. This is the Reader Panalkey Show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the REATA Panekey Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 2: up tonight, Leftist activists group Get Up scores a massive
- 0:15Speaker 2: own goal after it's stunt at the National Press Club.
- 0:19Speaker 2: My panel will join me to discuss the day's top headlines.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Mi Horowitz will have the latest from the US, including
- 0:26Speaker 2: Donald Trump at the g summit and that deal with Iran.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Meaghan Markle and Prince Harry will be bringing their kids
- 0:34Speaker 2: to the UK. Kinsey's Skofield will have Whorland entertainment news
- 0:38Speaker 2: later in the hour, and Alex Stein causes mayhem across
- 0:43Speaker 2: the Great State of Florida. He will join me shortly
- 0:47Speaker 2: and he left his losing it. We provide further proof
- 0:51Speaker 2: that the American left hate themselves and their country.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Republicans basically are where they were twenty five years ago,
- 0:59Speaker 3: right sixty four percent, but look at that Democratic present,
- 1:02Speaker 3: absolutely plumbing. Just twenty seven percent of Democrats say they
- 1:06Speaker 3: will in fact display the flag on July fourteen.
- 1:09Speaker 2: But first, let's talk about the biggest own goal in
- 1:13Speaker 2: Australian politics. Leftist activist group Get Up thought it would
- 1:17Speaker 2: be a stroke of genius to lower a large banner
- 1:21Speaker 2: behind Pauline Hansen as she spoke at the National Press Club.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It was a stunt designed to damage the One Nation leader,
- 1:28Speaker 2: but instead ended up embarrassing the National Press Club and
- 1:32Speaker 2: led to get up being referred for criminal investigation by
- 1:36Speaker 2: the Australian Federal Police.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Organizations like the solos are so overwhelmed with demand they're
- 1:43Speaker 4: having to turn people away. Of the four four hundred
- 1:48Speaker 4: people surveying surveyed, nineteen percent said they'd eaten food from
- 1:56Speaker 4: a rubbish bin in.
- 1:57Speaker 2: The past twelve months.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Thirty five percent of parents said that children had just
- 2:04Speaker 4: feel hungry. Good.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You see that smile there. She knew this wasn't damaging her,
- 2:15Speaker 2: It was only hurting the idiot left and give the
- 2:18Speaker 2: woman credit. She did not miss a beat. She kept
- 2:22Speaker 2: talking about Australian children who are going to school hungry.
- 2:25Speaker 2: She soldiered on like nothing had happened. But what occurred
- 2:29Speaker 2: is course for great concern. A T and NOL from
- 2:33Speaker 2: One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce that.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Protest talk me through what happened there. Carlo is so
- 2:39Speaker 5: dangerous when you think about him. So they got in there.
- 2:42Speaker 6: They managed to break up a sign and then have
- 2:45Speaker 6: the capacity to wather it. Okay, hah haha, very funny.
- 2:49Speaker 5: What if it was a bomb? It wasn't funny.
- 2:51Speaker 7: If you have capacity to that person.
- 2:53Speaker 3: That goes through your head is what if that was
- 2:55Speaker 3: the promnce was shown in downtom of Bomb?
- 2:59Speaker 5: How do they get there? How did that happen?
- 3:01Speaker 1: And we now have to take.
- 3:03Speaker 6: Cautions because the babbies will see that and go that's interesting.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Joining me now is Prue McSween from Verb Communications and
- 3:12Speaker 2: Sky News contributor Louise Roberts pre I'll start with you.
- 3:17Speaker 2: This incident must be one of the dumbest acts of
- 3:20Speaker 2: political sabotage ever. Get Up only succeeded in making Pauline
- 3:25Speaker 2: Hanson look come under pressure, and now it's going to
- 3:28Speaker 2: be under criminal investigation. The AFP are looking into this.
- 3:33Speaker 8: Well it's you know, amusing, isn't it, Because she came
- 3:36Speaker 8: in there and she stuck it up the media and
- 3:40Speaker 8: then she told virtually by her actions and looks, that
- 3:44Speaker 8: get Up could go and get stuffed basically, And that's
- 3:49Speaker 8: what I think we all.
- 3:51Speaker 9: Thought that, you know, how stupid, how.
- 3:53Speaker 8: Childish if these people thought that this was going to
- 3:58Speaker 8: tame her in any way or damage then they're seriously wrong.
- 4:02Speaker 5: You know.
- 4:02Speaker 8: The media that was sitting in there were i think,
- 4:06Speaker 8: confronted by someone who was in control. She had their measure,
- 4:11Speaker 8: She wasn't at all intimidated by them, and she gave
- 4:16Speaker 8: it to them. And she was actually enunciating what most
- 4:20Speaker 8: Australians think, and the media have totally along with all
- 4:25Speaker 8: the other political class, misread what Australians care about, and
- 4:30Speaker 8: she enunciated everyone. You could sit there and tick her
- 4:35Speaker 8: views off and say, yep, I agree with that.
- 4:37Speaker 9: I agree with that. So the whole thing is backfired.
- 4:40Speaker 8: You know, putting her in their sites by having her
- 4:43Speaker 8: at the Press Club was one thing.
- 4:46Speaker 9: It backfired in every way.
- 4:48Speaker 8: And then get up basically just looked like a bunch
- 4:50Speaker 8: of amateurs they did.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And I've got to say what was most impressive about
- 4:56Speaker 2: Pauline Hanson Louise was the manner in which she handle
- 5:00Speaker 2: the Q and A. I mean, it's all good and
- 5:03Speaker 2: well to give a speech pre prepared, and she did
- 5:06Speaker 2: speak a lot longer than most people do at the
- 5:08Speaker 2: National Press Club, but she was facing a really hostile
- 5:13Speaker 2: audience there. We know what the media, the bulk of
- 5:16Speaker 2: the media think of Pauline Hanson and One Nation and
- 5:19Speaker 2: she she really handles herself Welsh. There was not a
- 5:24Speaker 2: moment there where you look back and go, or she
- 5:26Speaker 2: could have done that a little bit better, or she
- 5:30Speaker 2: could have prosecuted the case a little bit better. Every
- 5:34Speaker 2: question was answered sharply and with conviction.
- 5:39Speaker 10: With conviction, that's right, I mean saying to journalists, you know, well,
- 5:41Speaker 10: you won't have a job. And she anticipated the land
- 5:45Speaker 10: mines and she came back with both barrels so and
- 5:48Speaker 10: she didn't take a backward step, which was terrific to see.
- 5:50Speaker 10: And it just shows what a lame and bush by
- 5:53Speaker 10: get Up. They really wanted to make her look foolish,
- 5:55Speaker 10: but of course they look foolish. And I just wonder
- 5:57Speaker 10: as well, Rita, whether get Up will prove be her
- 6:00Speaker 10: biggest fundraising opportunity yet because they're united people against them
- 6:05Speaker 10: for her, they've done things the pole opposite of what
- 6:08Speaker 10: they wanted to achieve.
- 6:10Speaker 11: I mean.
- 6:10Speaker 10: And you make the point you know today in your
- 6:12Speaker 10: column as well, about how articulate she was and how
- 6:15Speaker 10: unifying she was and the fact that she speaks for
- 6:18Speaker 10: ordinary Australians. But somehow that's an issue in a democracy.
- 6:22Speaker 10: Just they look so foolish, they really do. And she
- 6:24Speaker 10: has come out bigger and stronger than ever.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And the timing of when they lowered that banner, she
- 6:32Speaker 2: was talking about Australian school children going hungry and that's
- 6:37Speaker 2: the moment they chose for that stunt. Even that just
- 6:40Speaker 2: shows you how ham fisted get Up are And they
- 6:45Speaker 2: have enormous amount of funds donated to them, but they're
- 6:49Speaker 2: not very clever. And Pauline Hansen has really had the
- 6:52Speaker 2: last laugh against the Get Up. She's posted this image
- 6:57Speaker 2: on x with a caption I quite like the glasses
- 7:01Speaker 2: get Up gave me in their new poster, and Prue
- 7:04Speaker 2: she has changed her profile picture on Instagram to be
- 7:08Speaker 2: this picture, so she has adopted it, which must just
- 7:13Speaker 2: absolutely make the activists and get Up irate.
- 7:18Speaker 8: You know, she's just making them look like idiots, you
- 7:21Speaker 8: know the Moor.
- 7:22Speaker 9: She sticks it up them and uses ridicule.
- 7:26Speaker 8: And this is what it's all about, you know, humors,
- 7:29Speaker 8: making people just look like, you know, imbeciles, and that's
- 7:33Speaker 8: what Get Up are juveniles who think this is funny. Well,
- 7:37Speaker 8: you know, we're dealing with the future. The well being
- 7:41Speaker 8: of Australia and to start treating one nation and handsome
- 7:45Speaker 8: it's just you know, something to be you know, ridiculed
- 7:49Speaker 8: and played with. You know, they should be treated with
- 7:52Speaker 8: contempt and they are.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Now. Anthony Albanezi and Jim Chalmers have performed a bit
- 7:59Speaker 2: of a flip on aspects of their capital gains and
- 8:03Speaker 2: trust tax grabs, offering concessions to small businesses on capital
- 8:07Speaker 2: gains tax and removing taxes on discretionary trust used to
- 8:12Speaker 2: set up wheels. The threshold for small business capital gains
- 8:16Speaker 2: tax concessions will be raised from two million to ten million,
- 8:21Speaker 2: and they've cave to pressure from industry groups and critics
- 8:25Speaker 2: of this controversial tax overhaul. Luise the PM also revealed
- 8:30Speaker 2: plans for business tax concessions for startups.
- 8:35Speaker 9: That's right.
- 8:35Speaker 10: So you know, this is the policy rita that we
- 8:39Speaker 10: were told was sound and effective and it was going
- 8:42Speaker 10: to bail out generations of Australians, young Australians who couldn't
- 8:45Speaker 10: get their feet on the property ladder. And I noticed
- 8:49Speaker 10: today actually the Prime Minister was saying that he'd spoken
- 8:52Speaker 10: to many of these Australians apparently who said they were
- 8:54Speaker 10: very happy with the budget and we're looking forward to
- 8:57Speaker 10: buying their first time But.
- 8:58Speaker 9: This is completely untrue.
- 9:00Speaker 10: Yes, this is completely untested because you know, the prices
- 9:04Speaker 10: of homes have to drop before young people could afford
- 9:07Speaker 10: to buy them. It's not like he can click his
- 9:08Speaker 10: fingers and suddenly, you know, eighteen to twenty five year
- 9:11Speaker 10: olds are a massive homeowners. So again it was really forced.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Down our throats.
- 9:17Speaker 10: So this was a great policy and they've already had
- 9:20Speaker 10: to retreat from it.
- 9:21Speaker 9: So what about the rest of the budget.
- 9:22Speaker 10: I mean, what are we going to see next week
- 9:25Speaker 10: or maybe on Monday when they try and force it
- 9:27Speaker 10: through in Parliament. What else is going to be flipped over? Well,
- 9:30Speaker 10: that wasn't such a good idea at the time. So look,
- 9:34Speaker 10: small business, that's a good change, I think, But what
- 9:36Speaker 10: about those millions of Australians out there, the nurses and
- 9:39Speaker 10: teachers and maybe some tradees as well, who don't run
- 9:41Speaker 10: their own business and work for someone else, who've bought
- 9:44Speaker 10: shares outside of a trust portfolio or outside of super
- 9:49Speaker 10: They've got nothing. There's no win for them in this.
- 9:51Speaker 10: So it's been dressed up as a gift, but you
- 9:54Speaker 10: know it's a bit of a backhanded one.
- 9:55Speaker 9: I think.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Absolutely prove in fact you wanted to. Well, if you
- 10:03Speaker 2: want to be brutal about it, this is a backflip
- 10:07Speaker 2: that cames into pressure from the top end of town.
- 10:12Speaker 2: But your everyday mom and dad investors, whether they're investing
- 10:15Speaker 2: in the share market or investing in property to build
- 10:18Speaker 2: some sort of financial security for themselves, these backflips give
- 10:23Speaker 2: them nothing. They have made no concessions when it comes
- 10:27Speaker 2: to everyday working Australians who pay their taxes and want
- 10:31Speaker 2: to invest to be self sufficient in retirement. This isn't
- 10:36Speaker 2: helping them out at all.
- 10:37Speaker 9: For no, it's not.
- 10:38Speaker 8: You know, it's discriminatory relief, helping some but not others.
- 10:42Speaker 9: And you know, I.
- 10:44Speaker 8: Have to say that, you know, this is such typical
- 10:47Speaker 8: labor that they rush through things. Look at the NBN,
- 10:52Speaker 8: look at the NDIS. They never do the proper modeling,
- 10:57Speaker 8: they never consult beforehand, and they just foice these things
- 11:02Speaker 8: on people and then have to clean up.
- 11:04Speaker 9: But you have to just read.
- 11:06Speaker 8: I just want to read you this thing that Charmers
- 11:09Speaker 8: said and see if you understand it. We no longer
- 11:12Speaker 8: need to give effect to the policy intent.
- 11:16Speaker 9: Now what does that translate to? We stuffed up.
- 11:20Speaker 8: We are conducted overreach. I mean, who speaks like that.
- 11:24Speaker 8: This is why Australians are fed up with the Labor Party,
- 11:28Speaker 8: liberals or politicians who speak this gobbly book and cannot
- 11:33Speaker 8: haven't got any thought process clearly that relates to the
- 11:37Speaker 8: ordinary Australian and what the implications of what they're inflicting.
- 11:41Speaker 9: On us will have. So you know, they're just wonder
- 11:45Speaker 9: time to go.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I wonder if some sort of a Sir Humphrey figure
- 11:50Speaker 2: in the public service wrote that line for the Treasure Art,
- 11:53Speaker 2: because that doesn't sound like him at all. Now, before
- 11:56Speaker 2: you two go, Arn has agreed to pay Kryle Sandalans
- 12:01Speaker 2: over twelve million dollars to set all the legal dispute
- 12:05Speaker 2: over the termination of his one hundred million dollar contract.
- 12:08Speaker 2: The details were apparently hashed out over many coffees between
- 12:12Speaker 2: Sandalans and AR and Boss Karen Davis, with their lawyers
- 12:16Speaker 2: only brought in at the very end, a source with
- 12:20Speaker 2: close knowledge of the meetings told the Australian newspaper. Ultimately
- 12:24Speaker 2: it was a deal where both sides probably feel a
- 12:26Speaker 2: bit disappointed about some of the aspects of the deal,
- 12:30Speaker 2: which means we've probably met somewhere close to the middle.
- 12:33Speaker 2: In the end, though Kyle didn't want to spend years
- 12:35Speaker 2: in court and having his reputation battered and bruised. He's
- 12:39Speaker 2: an entertainer and he wants to be entertaining, and a
- 12:42Speaker 2: speedy settlement lets him do that without having to stress
- 12:46Speaker 2: about all this other stuff. Louise, can you see Carl
- 12:50Speaker 2: Sandalans recreating his ratings success in the digital space? Perhaps
- 12:56Speaker 2: is very well suited to the world of podcasting.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's very well suited.
- 13:01Speaker 10: So look, if you can take a leaf out of
- 13:02Speaker 10: Karl Stefanovic's book, of course he's doing brilliantly in this space.
- 13:05Speaker 10: If you know Carl can replicate.
- 13:07Speaker 9: That, he'll be lucky.
- 13:09Speaker 10: But at the end of the day, this is a
- 13:10Speaker 10: whole dispute which began over an argument about star signs.
- 13:13Speaker 10: You think they blew up a twenty year relationship, millions
- 13:16Speaker 10: and millions of dollars and it's all over, you know, horoscopes,
- 13:20Speaker 10: and Jackie's a parry obsession with with horoscopes. But I
- 13:23Speaker 10: think her lawyers will be watching this settlement very very
- 13:25Speaker 10: closely because it does not set a good precedent for them,
- 13:29Speaker 10: because she's sitting on what eighty three millions she wants
- 13:31Speaker 10: from them. He's got twelve and he wanted eighty five,
- 13:34Speaker 10: so it's not a good return on investment. Also, Aire
- 13:37Speaker 10: and I think have played it really well because they've
- 13:39Speaker 10: got a chunk of his business going forward. And according
- 13:42Speaker 10: to reports, he will be a witness for them against
- 13:45Speaker 10: his former best friend and co host.
- 13:48Speaker 9: So it's going to be very mabitious.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that is. It's going to air. All eyes will
- 13:55Speaker 2: be on Jackie Oh to see whether she tries to
- 13:58Speaker 2: strike a deal or whether she's going to see this
- 14:00Speaker 2: out and take it to court. Pri McSween lloyds, robis,
- 14:03Speaker 2: thank you so much for your time. Let's bring in
- 14:06Speaker 2: documentary filmmaker and commentator Army Horowitz. Army, the G seven
- 14:12Speaker 2: is on and a deal has been signed between the
- 14:14Speaker 2: US and Iran. A fourteen point memorandum to be precise,
- 14:19Speaker 2: a memorandum of understanding that comes into effect immediately, and
- 14:24Speaker 2: a joint statement praising President Trump for the agreement with
- 14:27Speaker 2: Tehran was released by the G Seven leaders, who also
- 14:31Speaker 2: pledged tougher sanctions on Moscow.
- 14:34Speaker 12: Army, Yeah, look, this is I've said this before on
- 14:41Speaker 12: your show. Over and over again that what is accomplished
- 14:44Speaker 12: with Iran has been absolutely incredible, and if he had
- 14:48Speaker 12: just stopped after the bombing, we're in a much better
- 14:52Speaker 12: situation than we were before. Having said that, it pains
- 14:58Speaker 12: me to say this, but if it like the GCPOA
- 15:01Speaker 12: and quacks like the GCPOA, I don't know what to
- 15:04Speaker 12: call this MOA. Now I get this is just a
- 15:06Speaker 12: memorant of understanding, right, this is not an actual agreement.
- 15:10Speaker 12: But the path that I'm seeing here is not a
- 15:12Speaker 12: good one. And let's start real quickly with the sanctions
- 15:16Speaker 12: of relief. I know they're saying, well, there isn't really
- 15:18Speaker 12: sanctions of relief until later down the road. Well that's
- 15:22Speaker 12: not really true, because the bulk of Iran's revenue comes
- 15:25Speaker 12: from oil sales, right which we have hamstrung them, if
- 15:29Speaker 12: not almost completely stopped their sales outside of China right
- 15:33Speaker 12: from before and now.
- 15:36Speaker 1: But we immediately allow them to.
- 15:38Speaker 12: Begin reselling their oil. And then the consequence of that, right,
- 15:42Speaker 12: the partner move with that is we'll give them access
- 15:46Speaker 12: again to the global banking system, the global financial transactions
- 15:50Speaker 12: in order to get the money they're selling back of
- 15:52Speaker 12: their coffers. That took us years and years to build.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And now that's evaporated.
- 16:00Speaker 12: And you know, I remember that when when look when
- 16:03Speaker 12: we're talking with when I and I was in you know,
- 16:06Speaker 12: in Vienna, when they were negotiating JCPOA, and I remember
- 16:12Speaker 12: talking to leaders about it and criticized them with the
- 16:14Speaker 12: same kind of criticism they're saying that. I know, we
- 16:17Speaker 12: have snap back sanctions, snap backs. They kept saying, snap back.
- 16:21Speaker 12: There is no snapback. When I asked them, well, how
- 16:23Speaker 12: exactly they're going to go from breaking the system down
- 16:26Speaker 12: to bringing.
- 16:26Speaker 1: It back within a couple of days.
- 16:28Speaker 12: How do you do that? They had no answer, because
- 16:30Speaker 12: you can't do that. It took years to build, it
- 16:32Speaker 12: will take at least months of n years to rebuild again.
- 16:36Speaker 12: And then the nuclear program read this is the most
- 16:39Speaker 12: concerning of all of them. There's one line on it
- 16:43Speaker 12: which says Iran is committed to not building nuclear weapons.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Slow clap for that.
- 16:50Speaker 12: What they they've committed to not building nuclear weapons from
- 16:54Speaker 12: the jump right, their signatories of the NPT, the Non
- 16:58Speaker 12: Fliferation Treaty, which said they'll never build nuclear weapons. They've
- 17:00Speaker 12: been saying over and over for years that they're not
- 17:03Speaker 12: looking to pursue nuclear weapons. It's a meaning, completely meaningless
- 17:07Speaker 12: statement without saying, oh, and by the way, you can
- 17:11Speaker 12: enrich anything. That's the game is that we have to stop,
- 17:15Speaker 12: we have to take away their ability to enrich anything.
- 17:18Speaker 12: And that wasn't dealt with at all. It's part of
- 17:20Speaker 12: the what we're gonna discuss. But we have a hint
- 17:23Speaker 12: on where Trump and the administration is gonna go, and
- 17:25Speaker 12: it comes to enrichment. Because look, I you and I
- 17:28Speaker 12: speak fluent.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Trump, right, the media does it.
- 17:31Speaker 12: They don't know when Trump is toying with them.
- 17:35Speaker 1: They don't understand when Trump is just trolling them. We do.
- 17:38Speaker 12: I also understand that when he's asked a direct question.
- 17:40Speaker 12: He was asked about this during the Q and A
- 17:43Speaker 12: right before he made the announcement of the exactual wording,
- 17:45Speaker 12: and they asked about enrichment for.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Nuclear energy. The answer should have been zero.
- 17:52Speaker 12: But no, he said, well, look, I don't think they
- 17:55Speaker 12: need it. I've told they have enough oil. But they said,
- 17:58Speaker 12: look at my neighbors they have it. So we'll see
- 18:00Speaker 12: what happened down the road. That's a really bad sign
- 18:03Speaker 12: of where I think we're gonna end up.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Right, looks at it.
- 18:05Speaker 12: Where I think I'm guessing we're gonna end up. He said,
- 18:08Speaker 12: you could have it for just nuclear energy, which is
- 18:10Speaker 12: what the gcop oay, just the enjoy the enjoyt Plant
- 18:13Speaker 12: of Action said. The whole idea about enrichment, the game
- 18:17Speaker 12: that Iran is playing is that it allows them to rebuild.
- 18:20Speaker 1: If they do that, it's going to.
- 18:22Speaker 12: Allow them to build all the infrastructure right, particularly the
- 18:25Speaker 12: centrifuge is that we destroyed. And once they have that
- 18:29Speaker 12: set up, this idea of they can enrich. The three
- 18:31Speaker 12: percent for nuclear energy is a joke because what that is,
- 18:35Speaker 12: that's seventy five percent of what takes to get the
- 18:37Speaker 12: nuclear bomb.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I know, it only.
- 18:38Speaker 12: Sounds is three percent versus you know the ninety seven
- 18:40Speaker 12: percent you need. But three percent is seventy five percent
- 18:43Speaker 12: of the way there for a nuclear weapon. That's what
- 18:45Speaker 12: they need. And he's given up the whole idea of
- 18:48Speaker 12: taking the nuclear dust out, which is really important. This
- 18:51Speaker 12: is a look, this thing is really an I.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Mean, you know, you know that regime is going to lie.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Like you said, they have a great not to enrich,
- 19:01Speaker 2: previously agreed not to have a develop nuclear weaponry, and
- 19:06Speaker 2: they just go ahead and do as they wish. President
- 19:09Speaker 2: Trump was asked about how he's going to enforce this deal,
- 19:13Speaker 2: this memorandum of understanding.
- 19:16Speaker 13: Have I listen to his answer, there's nothing enforceable in
- 19:19Speaker 13: the deal itself.
- 19:20Speaker 9: Is that correct?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Does it have to be?
- 19:22Speaker 14: I let him know. I said, Look, if you don't
- 19:24Speaker 14: adhere to the agreement, I don't want to do that,
- 19:28Speaker 14: but we're going to bomb the hell out of you.
- 19:30Speaker 14: And I don't think that they're going to veer from
- 19:32Speaker 14: the agreement. What else am I going to do? A'm
- 19:34Speaker 14: I going to say, I'm going to take you to court.
- 19:36Speaker 14: Let me take you to court, let me sue you. No,
- 19:39Speaker 14: We're going to bomb the hell out of them if
- 19:41Speaker 14: they violate the agreement.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Is that what's different now with the previous agreements because
- 19:47Speaker 2: they know he will bomb the hell out of them.
- 19:50Speaker 2: He's already done considerable damage. Does that threat give you
- 19:56Speaker 2: some confidence that the Iranian regime will at least least
- 20:00Speaker 2: to some extent, keep up their end of the deal.
- 20:04Speaker 12: Look, I've said this before and I'll say it again,
- 20:06Speaker 12: and it's true. Is that the single biggest thing that
- 20:08Speaker 12: he's done and comes to Iran is he shattered the
- 20:11Speaker 12: taboo that we will not attack and bomb Iran.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Right, that's what they have felt for years.
- 20:18Speaker 12: They were immune to bombing because nobody they thought had
- 20:22Speaker 12: the backbone to do it, and that they had built
- 20:25Speaker 12: this incredible array of Russian made anti aircraft weaponry, and
- 20:29Speaker 12: we shattered that illusion of security for Iran. So that
- 20:33Speaker 12: in itself is a massive, massive win. Yes, of course
- 20:36Speaker 12: it does give me some confidence. But the problem is that, Look,
- 20:39Speaker 12: when you're talking about months later and you've moved months
- 20:42Speaker 12: away from bombing bombing, kinetic action again becomes much more difficult.
- 20:47Speaker 12: It certainly has priorities, change, time goes by, that we're
- 20:50Speaker 12: going to be at the midterms, right, We're gonna be
- 20:53Speaker 12: deep in politics. That's where I get a little bit
- 20:56Speaker 12: worried about whether or not we will still have that
- 20:58Speaker 12: backbone to do it.
- 20:59Speaker 1: And I got those hint from from JD.
- 21:02Speaker 12: Vance, which worried to be quite a bit when he
- 21:04Speaker 12: was recently on Megan Kelly and he was pushing his
- 21:06Speaker 12: book and pushing this the MOA, and he talked about
- 21:09Speaker 12: how he was so sick of the people who were
- 21:12Speaker 12: criticizing this, because if you criticize the MOA, it means
- 21:15Speaker 12: you want endless war. So you can see where this
- 21:17Speaker 12: is coming from. Right, there's a split in the administration
- 21:20Speaker 12: between jd Vance and his team and heg Seth and
- 21:24Speaker 12: Radcliffe and Rubio the other side, who, by the way,
- 21:27Speaker 12: insiders are saying they're not thrilled about this thing either.
- 21:30Speaker 12: So I don't know if the jd Vance wing will
- 21:33Speaker 12: prevail upon the president or the Rubio heg Seth Radcliffe
- 21:38Speaker 12: wing will. Look, it gives me some sure some I
- 21:41Speaker 12: know he's done it before. It's not just hot air,
- 21:43Speaker 12: but this is Look, this is a very difficult thing
- 21:46Speaker 12: to enforce because now you've also gotten all these nations
- 21:49Speaker 12: who finally said, we finally on your side on this thing.
- 21:51Speaker 1: We love this MOA.
- 21:53Speaker 12: It's difficult to walk away and say, well, you know, guys,
- 21:55Speaker 12: I'm just going back to kinetic action.
- 21:57Speaker 1: It's not easy. It sounds, but I'm not saying it's
- 21:59Speaker 1: it possible, And there was one president who can do it.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Is this president for sure?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Now let's hear from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was
- 22:08Speaker 2: asked by CNN's Caitlin Collins. About this deal. He said,
- 22:13Speaker 2: it's well structured and a game changer.
- 22:15Speaker 9: Is it true?
- 22:16Speaker 1: It's about a page to half.
- 22:18Speaker 15: It is a reasonable length for an agreement, which is,
- 22:22Speaker 15: in effect, it is a cessation of hostilities. It's a
- 22:25Speaker 15: ceasefire for that sixty day period, as you know. But
- 22:28Speaker 15: it's sets out a series of conditions and what will
- 22:32Speaker 15: happen when they are fulfilled. It's well structured. It creates
- 22:35Speaker 15: I actually think, Yeah, I think it's a game changer.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Does that concern you that Mark Karney and so many
- 22:43Speaker 2: other G seven partners fans of this steal? Do is
- 22:49Speaker 2: there support and asset here or does it show that
- 22:52Speaker 2: perhaps this deal isn't as tough as it could have been.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not a good sign.
- 22:58Speaker 12: I mean Mark Carney is awful, right if he likes something,
- 23:02Speaker 12: I generally don't like it, Okay, and you know also
- 23:04Speaker 12: like it like Hank Wiger of the of the Young
- 23:07Speaker 12: Turks and other hard leftist like this. That also kind
- 23:10Speaker 12: of makes me feel a little uneasy. Yeah, he thinks
- 23:15Speaker 12: well structured. That makes me think I want to take
- 23:16Speaker 12: a closer look at this thing. Also, it it It
- 23:19Speaker 12: was quite interesting that he said that he saw the
- 23:22Speaker 12: actual wording of the deal even before Israel does. Right,
- 23:26Speaker 12: Israel the partner with us on bombing runs right were
- 23:30Speaker 12: we were in lockstep on on the on the only
- 23:33Speaker 12: other country of the nuts to actually physically attack attack
- 23:36Speaker 12: iron certainly wasn't coming from Canada or England everybody else.
- 23:38Speaker 12: So Yeah, it bothers me that he saw the wording
- 23:41Speaker 12: before Israel did. And you know, I thought it was
- 23:44Speaker 12: also interesting that I know this was that his support
- 23:47Speaker 12: for it was not what Caitlyn Collins was looking for, right.
- 23:50Speaker 12: I think the media's reaction is so interesting. I think
- 23:53Speaker 12: they're they're thrown for a loop and they haven't been
- 23:55Speaker 12: highly critical.
- 23:56Speaker 1: They're not sure what to think.
- 23:58Speaker 12: But I'll tell you the the It was so again.
- 24:00Speaker 12: I was watching the press conference the President gave and
- 24:03Speaker 12: the New York Times asked a question, and the question
- 24:05Speaker 12: they asked nothing about nuclear Richmond, or Hesbollah, or terrorism
- 24:10Speaker 12: or the straights of horror moves.
- 24:12Speaker 1: The first New York Times.
- 24:13Speaker 12: Question to the President was are you going to prosecute
- 24:16Speaker 12: anybody administration about the bombing.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Of the school? Are you insane? That was your question.
- 24:23Speaker 12: An accidental bombing of a school that obviously we thought
- 24:27Speaker 12: was horrible. We the President and the rest of the countries,
- 24:29Speaker 12: that was horrible. That was a mistake. That was the question.
- 24:32Speaker 12: They're asking that they gave up the game right there
- 24:34Speaker 12: in terms of where they are on their feelings of
- 24:36Speaker 12: Iran and so forth.
- 24:38Speaker 2: So yeah, now there were some lighter moments during this
- 24:43Speaker 2: meeting before the deal was signed. Watch this interaction, I'm.
- 24:49Speaker 1: The boss, how are.
- 24:52Speaker 12: You thank you?
- 25:02Speaker 2: That was the g seven an Army. The President even
- 25:05Speaker 2: noted that his chair, the chair he was assigned, was
- 25:08Speaker 2: set lower than everybody else's chairs. So it's the sort
- 25:12Speaker 2: of thing's details that he notices. But I want to
- 25:15Speaker 2: move on to the crisis in national pride that's facing
- 25:20Speaker 2: the American left. The overwhelming majority of them have shifted
- 25:25Speaker 2: from being very proud of their country to now only
- 25:28Speaker 2: twenty nine percent of them feel that pride. Army Republicans
- 25:34Speaker 2: haven't shifted. You can look at the figures. They're two
- 25:36Speaker 2: thousand and one to twenty twenty six Republicans ninety percent.
- 25:41Speaker 2: You look at the Democrat figure, it has absolutely plummeted.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Why is America, amongst the left become a nation of
- 25:50Speaker 2: self loathers.
- 25:52Speaker 12: Yeah, it's a continuing trend we've seen for a disturbing
- 25:55Speaker 12: trend We've seen for many, many years. This is nothing
- 25:58Speaker 12: new and has continued to down year after year. It's
- 26:02Speaker 12: a real identity crisis that we have in this country.
- 26:05Speaker 12: In two thousand and one, that number right now, currently
- 26:08Speaker 12: the number is around fifty percent of all Americans and
- 26:11Speaker 12: by the way, very disturbingly, aside from the Democrats being
- 26:15Speaker 12: thirty percent, Independence are under fifty percent, and that's also
- 26:19Speaker 12: quite alarming. But it went down from fifty percent today.
- 26:23Speaker 12: It was at ninety percent in two thousand and one,
- 26:26Speaker 12: to give you a sense of how much patriotism has
- 26:31Speaker 12: eroded in this country. And that's a massive, massive problem
- 26:35Speaker 12: that simply cannot be understated. And you know, I think
- 26:38Speaker 12: the important point is that people like me, you know,
- 26:43Speaker 12: it doesn't matter who's the president.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 26:45Speaker 12: Obviously the number was a little bit higher for Democrats
- 26:47Speaker 12: under under bil they not that high. But I'm proud
- 26:51Speaker 12: of this country no matter who is president. And the
- 26:53Speaker 12: vast majority of Republicans, even under Biden, were patriotic because
- 26:57Speaker 12: it's not about the president, right, about the system.
- 27:00Speaker 1: It's about the country.
- 27:01Speaker 12: But what do you expect when when all you're preaching,
- 27:04Speaker 12: all you're hearing from your media outlets, from your professors,
- 27:07Speaker 12: from your friends, from your social circles, is that this
- 27:10Speaker 12: is a systematically racist country.
- 27:12Speaker 1: The country is rigged against you.
- 27:14Speaker 12: It's a country of billionaires, that our foreign policy is
- 27:17Speaker 12: predatory and we're imperialistic, and this is what you hear
- 27:20Speaker 12: over and over again, and.
- 27:21Speaker 1: This is the net result that result we are.
- 27:24Speaker 12: Rooting the patriotism and the love for our country and
- 27:28Speaker 12: are the end of this country is I've said this
- 27:30Speaker 12: over and over, is not going to come from without.
- 27:33Speaker 12: It's not going to come from an enemy like Russia
- 27:35Speaker 12: or China invading our shores and taking us over. It's
- 27:38Speaker 12: going to come from within, like it does with every
- 27:40Speaker 12: single large empire, not the weird empire, but if you
- 27:43Speaker 12: look at all of them, it's.
- 27:44Speaker 1: All the same things.
- 27:45Speaker 12: Internal strife, right, it's brother against brother, and it's from
- 27:49Speaker 12: within that we will if this, God forbid, the American
- 27:53Speaker 12: experiment ever ends. And by the way, I've done video
- 27:55Speaker 12: after video where I say do you want the American
- 27:58Speaker 12: experiment to end to the left and they say yeah, yes,
- 28:00Speaker 12: And that's all ended from the inside, not outside.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Absolutely, Ronald Reagan was warning about that all those years ago.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I mean, Horowitz, thank you so much for her time
- 28:10Speaker 2: tonight coming up, Lefty's losing it, plaus Alex stein causes
- 28:16Speaker 2: mayhem across the great state of Florida. He joins me. Next,
- 28:31Speaker 2: welcome back. It's time for lefties losing it, and let's
- 28:35Speaker 2: go to the blue state of New England, where a
- 28:38Speaker 2: chick named Beth wants to be a congresswoman and claims
- 28:42Speaker 2: kids need to have access to what she calls gender
- 28:45Speaker 2: firming care, also known as puberty blockers and irreversible surgeries.
- 28:50Speaker 13: Yes, Pride, we deserve more than rainbow logos. My name
- 28:53Speaker 13: is Beth, and I'm running for Congress the Massachusetts X
- 28:55Speaker 13: Congressional district. After Trump was elected, my representative, Seth Molton
- 28:59Speaker 13: tried to trans kids under the bus for his political career,
- 29:02Speaker 13: and that's why I stepped up to challenge him. Trans
- 29:04Speaker 13: people aren't political props, and slapping a rainbow on a
- 29:06Speaker 13: bomb isn't support. Congress needs to take real action. I'll
- 29:09Speaker 13: guarantee gender affirming care and reproductive rights. I'll make sure
- 29:12Speaker 13: trans people get our passports back, and I'll build housing
- 29:15Speaker 13: so people like us can live in Massachusetts.
- 29:18Speaker 2: What trans people need special houses? Really? Now, let's check
- 29:22Speaker 2: on a couple of other Democrats. Surely they can pretend,
- 29:25Speaker 2: at least pretend to support America during the World Cup.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Surely Old Cup is here.
- 29:31Speaker 3: The first match this week in a met Life stadium
- 29:33Speaker 3: taking place in New Jersey, even though some people say
- 29:36Speaker 3: it is technically New York.
- 29:37Speaker 5: But what do you think will win it all?
- 29:39Speaker 4: Who are you rooting for?
- 29:40Speaker 10: Oh?
- 29:40Speaker 1: I like Mexico, Mexico. There you go for Senegal? Senegal?
- 29:45Speaker 2: Okay, Senegal. Really they're like five hundred to one. She
- 29:50Speaker 2: clearly isn't tipping them to win the World Cup. She
- 29:53Speaker 2: just wants them to. That's the Democrats for you can't
- 29:57Speaker 2: even be pro America during the World Cup. The hatred
- 30:00Speaker 2: of their own country is clear among their candidates and
- 30:04Speaker 2: their voters. Take it away, CNN.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Republicans basically are where they were twenty five years ago,
- 30:11Speaker 3: write sixty four percent. But look at that Democratic percentage,
- 30:14Speaker 3: absolutely plummeting. Just twenty seven percent of Democrats say they
- 30:18Speaker 3: will in fact display the flag on July fourth. What
- 30:21Speaker 3: about this idea? Are you proud to be an American?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Extremely or very proud to be an American?
- 30:26Speaker 2: Again?
- 30:27Speaker 3: Look at this divide a growing divide on this question.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Back in January of two thousand and one, ninety percent
- 30:34Speaker 3: of Republicans eighty five percent of Democrats. This was after
- 30:37Speaker 3: a very contentious two thousand election.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Keep in mind, right with George W.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Bush coming into the White House, you come over to
- 30:43Speaker 3: this side of the screen. In twenty twenty six, look
- 30:45Speaker 3: at this again, the Democratic percentage absolutely plummets to just
- 30:50Speaker 3: twenty nine percent of Democrats say there extremely are very
- 30:53Speaker 3: proud to be an American. That Republican percentage the exact
- 30:56Speaker 3: same ninety and ninety.
- 30:59Speaker 2: It's a sickness among the left, the self loathing, the
- 31:02Speaker 2: suicidal self loathing. And Rosie O'Donnell is a fine example
- 31:06Speaker 2: of that. Look at how she describes her fellow Americans.
- 31:09Speaker 13: I think, in your opinion, it was disgraceful and embarrassing,
- 31:16Speaker 13: and he could be ashamed of himself.
- 31:17Speaker 9: For doing it.
- 31:18Speaker 16: Did you hear about the fighter Luka Michelle Obama man, Yes,
- 31:22Speaker 16: And that's exactly what Trump is, and that's exactly what
- 31:26Speaker 16: his fans are.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Racist, homophobic, un American. And let's end the week with
- 31:31Speaker 2: a comparison. See if you can note the subtle differences
- 31:35Speaker 2: between President Joe Biden of the G seven and President Trump.
- 31:50Speaker 1: But I'm the boss, it's the one.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Joining me now is comedian and host of after hours
- 32:00Speaker 2: with Alex Stein. Alex, you've been busy in recent days
- 32:04Speaker 2: causing mayhem across the great state of Florida. Let's look
- 32:08Speaker 2: at your work at the clear Water City Council where
- 32:12Speaker 2: you railed against Scientology.
- 32:15Speaker 17: And the next thing I know, I'm looking at my
- 32:17Speaker 17: wife's text messages and she's sending scandalous pictures to Jeremy.
- 32:22Speaker 5: And then she sits me down two weeks.
- 32:25Speaker 17: Before supposed to go on this cruise, and she says, Alex,
- 32:27Speaker 17: I know you're so excited for this cruise.
- 32:29Speaker 5: You've been working so hard for this, but.
- 32:31Speaker 7: I can't go with you because I'm not a person
- 32:33Speaker 7: that's going to just back down. I still went on
- 32:36Speaker 7: that cruise. I lost a lot of money in the
- 32:37Speaker 7: casino and I got in facted with monkey Box, but
- 32:40Speaker 7: still feels like a win. But I will say this
- 32:42Speaker 7: this Jeremy, guys is a member of the Church of Scientology.
- 32:45Speaker 7: And I'm begging you, guys, they're trying to take my
- 32:48Speaker 7: kids and then listen into the Sea org and I
- 32:52Speaker 7: don't want some intergalactic space alien named Xenu telling my
- 32:58Speaker 7: kids they got a bunch of Thetans in them and they're.
- 33:00Speaker 17: Going to turn into the next Tom Cruise and be
- 33:02Speaker 17: in Tropic Thunder and have one of the main actors
- 33:04Speaker 17: for a.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Blackface like, I'm not here for that.
- 33:08Speaker 17: So I'm begging on this council, if you care about
- 33:11Speaker 17: the community, we must stop the Church of Scientology.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Alex, how did that advocacy go? Is the Church of
- 33:18Speaker 2: Scientology banned by Clearwater City Council? What were you playing at? Well?
- 33:23Speaker 16: I do not think the Church of Scientology will ever
- 33:25Speaker 16: be banned in Clearwater. You know, that's their headquarters, even
- 33:28Speaker 16: a bigger campus and facility than they have in Los Angeles.
- 33:32Speaker 16: But I will say this though, there was actually a
- 33:34Speaker 16: ton of protesters because Scientology has gone viral for these
- 33:37Speaker 16: people that are just running in there, which I don't
- 33:39Speaker 16: necessarily agree with.
- 33:40Speaker 5: There was a lot of protesters out there.
- 33:42Speaker 16: And once this video got a little bit of momentum,
- 33:44Speaker 16: I've been hit up by a bunch of ex Scientology.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Members and that's the one complaint.
- 33:49Speaker 16: This is the real reason I make fun of Scientology
- 33:51Speaker 16: is if anybody wants to practice any religion, that's fine.
- 33:53Speaker 16: But with Scientology, if you're considered a suppressive person, they
- 33:57Speaker 16: excommunicate you from your family.
- 33:59Speaker 5: So doesn't my of your mom, dad, brother, sister, daughter.
- 34:03Speaker 5: They will literally tell that.
- 34:05Speaker 16: Person that they cannot have a relationship with that family
- 34:07Speaker 16: member if they're not also a member. So I think
- 34:10Speaker 16: a lot of what Scientology does is really bad.
- 34:12Speaker 5: And that's why I went to Clearwater. That's where their
- 34:14Speaker 5: headquarters are.
- 34:15Speaker 16: So I'm lucky I made it out alive, because I
- 34:16Speaker 16: think they're more dangerous in the Mexican the Mexican cartel
- 34:19Speaker 16: in my opinion, Reader, well.
- 34:23Speaker 2: You were at the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners as well,
- 34:27Speaker 2: and this time you were focused on Pride Month and
- 34:32Speaker 2: you even sang them an original song shout out Jancaster.
- 34:35Speaker 17: But the rest of Hillsborough County is not gay enough,
- 34:38Speaker 17: and so I just want to call on this.
- 34:40Speaker 16: Pride Month should be a priority.
- 34:43Speaker 5: Drag Queen shows for eight years old.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Don't be afraid to be really bold.
- 34:49Speaker 16: We need Pride flags in the classroom.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I hard to believe that you managed to write that
- 34:56Speaker 2: song well by yourself, Alex. You even rhymed nasty. It's fasty,
- 35:01Speaker 2: so credit to you for that.
- 35:05Speaker 16: Not my best work, reader, but I'm working on a
- 35:07Speaker 16: very top secret project.
- 35:09Speaker 5: I'm not even kidding I have a documentary.
- 35:10Speaker 16: Crew from Quebec following me and it's going to be
- 35:13Speaker 16: coming out here in the next couple of months. So
- 35:15Speaker 16: they've been following me. That's why I've been going to
- 35:17Speaker 16: all these meetings, So be on the lookout for that.
- 35:20Speaker 16: It's going to be in French, that's one problem, so
- 35:22Speaker 16: it's gonna be hard to watch without subtitles.
- 35:25Speaker 2: What you got some French documentary, real Canadian French documentary
- 35:30Speaker 2: filmmaker following you around and doing a doco on you.
- 35:34Speaker 16: Yes, his name is Simon Kutu. I can't say his
- 35:37Speaker 16: last name. You know it's French. But that's why I'm
- 35:39Speaker 16: out here. And I actually have to go tomorrow morning
- 35:41Speaker 16: to my third event in three days.
- 35:43Speaker 5: We're going to the Tampa City Council and I'm going to.
- 35:45Speaker 16: Be eating the kool Aid pineapple I don't even know
- 35:49Speaker 16: what they're called. You know, you've seen it online. It's
- 35:51Speaker 16: pineapple spears covered in kool aid. So watch out for
- 35:54Speaker 16: that video.
- 35:55Speaker 5: I think it's gonna be very interesting tomorrow.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Wow, I think Ron Santus needs to ban you from
- 36:02Speaker 2: Florida because you're causing having across the state. Now, let's
- 36:05Speaker 2: talk about some serious stuff. Luigi Mangione a hero to
- 36:10Speaker 2: the demented, violent left, but his lawyers are going to
- 36:14Speaker 2: argue that he's mentally ill. CNN's reporting Mangioni's attorneys will
- 36:20Speaker 2: present a psychiatric defense a trial, arguing he killed United
- 36:25Speaker 2: Healthcare CEO while experiencing an extreme emotional disturbance. Alex, what
- 36:31Speaker 2: do you make of these latest developments?
- 36:34Speaker 16: Well, even if you get diagnosed with having a mental
- 36:37Speaker 16: health issue, that doesn't always excuse a crime. But I
- 36:40Speaker 16: will say this, it was weird when Mangioni got arrested
- 36:42Speaker 16: at McDonald's that he had monopoly money. I think that
- 36:45Speaker 16: he's probably pretty smart and that he had this plan
- 36:48Speaker 16: from the start to say that he was too insane
- 36:50Speaker 16: to stand trial. So I just think, once again, this
- 36:53Speaker 16: is a guy that should now be a hero. He
- 36:55Speaker 16: deserves life in jail. I mean, the United Healthcare CEO
- 36:58Speaker 16: had a family and didn't deserve it. Whether or not
- 37:00Speaker 16: he was a good CEO doesn't really matter. You can't
- 37:03Speaker 16: murder somebody, so the fact that he's becot a hero
- 37:06Speaker 16: is a really bad sign. But at the end of
- 37:08Speaker 16: the day, I don't think that this appeal or you know,
- 37:11Speaker 16: this motion is going to work, because there's no way
- 37:14Speaker 16: a guy that was a smart young man, he's going
- 37:16Speaker 16: to be able to all of a sudden say that
- 37:18Speaker 16: they had a mental break, even though this is a
- 37:20Speaker 16: premeditated murder.
- 37:21Speaker 5: So I just I don't think it's going to go through.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Well, it's going to be an interesting defense and it
- 37:29Speaker 2: will be interesting also to see how his supporters come
- 37:33Speaker 2: to terms with that, because they see him as some
- 37:36Speaker 2: heroic figure and his own defense team is saying no,
- 37:39Speaker 2: he's mentally deranged. Now, before you go, this story from
- 37:44Speaker 2: Variety really is beyond the pale. They are doing a
- 37:48Speaker 2: SOB story claiming that actress Amanda Seyfried had to use
- 37:54Speaker 2: a bodyguard amid what they call maga outrage after she
- 37:58Speaker 2: called Charlie Kirk hateful. After Charlie was murdered, she says
- 38:04Speaker 2: in the piece, I'm allowed to effing voice my feelings, Alex.
- 38:09Speaker 2: The irony is lost on her and Variety these people
- 38:13Speaker 2: really are so dangerously dim. What did she think Charlie
- 38:17Speaker 2: was doing? Is he not allowed to voice his opinion,
- 38:21Speaker 2: his feelings, his opinions.
- 38:24Speaker 16: Well, of course he's not allowed to because he has
- 38:26Speaker 16: a different political viewpoint than Amanda but I will say
- 38:28Speaker 16: this when it comes.
- 38:30Speaker 5: To Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was a free speech absolutist.
- 38:34Speaker 16: He didn't care if people wanted to criticize him, whether
- 38:36Speaker 16: it was South Park or whether it was any major
- 38:39Speaker 16: media figure Jimmy Kimmel, so believe it or not, even
- 38:42Speaker 16: though she said something that's disgusting and you and I
- 38:44Speaker 16: find you know a parent, but Charlie Kirk would not care.
- 38:49Speaker 16: And so really that's at the end of the day,
- 38:51Speaker 16: how I'm going to try to attack this or look
- 38:53Speaker 16: at this.
- 38:53Speaker 5: I'm not going to get triggered or have.
- 38:55Speaker 16: My buttons pushed because she wants to go and pretend
- 38:58Speaker 16: to be a victim even though she said something about
- 39:00Speaker 16: a person she knows nothing about. Because Charlie is one
- 39:03Speaker 16: of the most inclusive guys that I ever met. Obviously,
- 39:06Speaker 16: there's gay people in Turning Point, USA. There's all kinds
- 39:10Speaker 16: of people in Turning Point USA, black people, white people,
- 39:13Speaker 16: Chinese people.
- 39:14Speaker 5: So he was not a bigot. He was the opposite
- 39:16Speaker 5: of hateful.
- 39:17Speaker 16: And she's speaking from a perspective that has no idea
- 39:20Speaker 16: what she's talking about, and it's.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Totally lost on her.
- 39:23Speaker 16: The fact that Charlie's life was constantly under thread, so
- 39:26Speaker 16: much so that he was publicly assassinated, and she wants
- 39:29Speaker 16: to act like the victim for just having to hire
- 39:31Speaker 16: a bodyguard for a short time.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Alex stein Well said, thank you for your time tonight,
- 39:38Speaker 2: Talk to you soon. Still to come. Megan Michael and
- 39:41Speaker 2: Prince Harriet taking their kids to the UK or are they?
- 39:45Speaker 2: Kinsisco Field has the details. Welcome back. Joining me now
- 39:59Speaker 2: is host the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered podcast. Kinsey, Let's start
- 40:05Speaker 2: with the royals. Meghan Markel and Prince Harry will be
- 40:07Speaker 2: bringing their kids to the United Kingdom in July for
- 40:12Speaker 2: the first time since twenty twenty two. Sources told Page
- 40:15Speaker 2: six that Prince Harry desperately wants his kids to see
- 40:18Speaker 2: King Charles. But Kinsey, it's still unknown whether the monarch
- 40:23Speaker 2: will reunite with his prodigal son and the grandchildren.
- 40:28Speaker 11: Well, we're gonna have to wait and see, because a
- 40:30Speaker 11: Sussex source briefed People magazine last week to say Megan
- 40:33Speaker 11: and their children were staying behind. I think that they
- 40:36Speaker 11: like the will they won't they storyline keeping them keepers.
- 40:41Speaker 11: So you know, Harry spent years telling us how unhappy
- 40:44Speaker 11: he was in Britain, Yet suddenly it's important that Archie
- 40:46Speaker 11: and Lily experienced the UK. Is he a masachist? I
- 40:49Speaker 11: think this is more about the rumors that Meghan Markle
- 40:52Speaker 11: is stuck with five million dollars worth of unsold as
- 40:56Speaker 11: ever inventory and maybe that royal proximity might help remove it.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Well, gee, that's a lot of jam. What else is
- 41:05Speaker 2: she selling? Candles these days? And matches? All essential items? Now,
- 41:09Speaker 2: Princess Kate has returned to royal ascot after absence of
- 41:14Speaker 2: a couple of years. She wore a lovely daffodil yellow dresser.
- 41:20Speaker 2: What can you tell me about Princess Kate's appearance there?
- 41:24Speaker 2: Is she still the most popular royal There was some
- 41:26Speaker 2: polling in recent years showing she was by far the
- 41:30Speaker 2: most popular now that the late Queen is no longer with.
- 41:34Speaker 11: Us, and I know that Louis is yours, so it's
- 41:37Speaker 11: Prince Louis is.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Your Louis number one?
- 41:41Speaker 11: Yes, it's hard for you to digest that, but yes,
- 41:43Speaker 11: according to virtually every major poll, Catherine is currently the
- 41:46Speaker 11: most popular member of the royal family. It's the glamour,
- 41:50Speaker 11: the duty, the relatability that's difficult to replicate for anyone,
- 41:55Speaker 11: but she turned up in that yellow dress instantly became
- 41:58Speaker 11: the star of the show. That's her superpower. She doesn't
- 42:00Speaker 11: have to say a word. After everything she's been through
- 42:03Speaker 11: over the last few years. Seeing Katherine back at ASKT
- 42:06Speaker 11: looking healthy and confident is exactly the image Royal supporters wanted.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Now Prince George is following in his dad's footsteps, with
- 42:16Speaker 2: a spokesperson confirming to page six that he will be
- 42:19Speaker 2: attending Eton College in the fall. Prince William was at
- 42:23Speaker 2: that prestigious school, so was Prince Harry and Kinsey. It's
- 42:27Speaker 2: had of many notable former students, including David Cameron and
- 42:33Speaker 2: Boris Johnson, both British Prime ministers.
- 42:36Speaker 11: Yeah, this is probably the least surprising Royal news of
- 42:39Speaker 11: the year. Eaton is practically family tradition at this point.
- 42:42Speaker 11: Prince George is being prepared for a very specific future.
- 42:45Speaker 11: Eaton offers that privacy, security and a network that has
- 42:49Speaker 11: educated kings like you said, Prime Minister's future leaders for generations.
- 42:53Speaker 11: I think the pressure on Prince George is enormous. He's
- 42:57Speaker 11: not just starting a new school, he's preparing for a
- 42:59Speaker 11: leader ship role that he was born into. So hopefully
- 43:02Speaker 11: Eaton makes that transition easier for him.
- 43:06Speaker 2: It is such an enormous responsibility, privileged burden. How you
- 43:11Speaker 2: want to look at it, knowing as soon as you
- 43:13Speaker 2: are capable of understanding it, that you're going to be
- 43:17Speaker 2: the king that is your future. So his father's lived
- 43:21Speaker 2: with that and he's living with it now now. A
- 43:24Speaker 2: resurface clip from NBA superstar Lebron James. This has gone
- 43:28Speaker 2: viral again, causing all sorts of debate after he said
- 43:32Speaker 2: this about dating stay at home women. Have a listen.
- 43:36Speaker 6: I think personally me today, if I was not in
- 43:39Speaker 6: a relationship today, I could not have a stay at
- 43:43Speaker 6: home woman. It's not like for me, who I am
- 43:47Speaker 6: at forty and what I got going on. Just come
- 43:50Speaker 6: home and just seeing somebody just sitting on a couch
- 43:52Speaker 6: every day, just sitting there, just chilling like that. That
- 43:56Speaker 6: wouldn't float from me.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Kinsy, I've got to say, out of all the stupid
- 44:00Speaker 2: stuff Lebron has said over the years, I don't find
- 44:04Speaker 2: that too bad. Maybe even if you disagree with his
- 44:07Speaker 2: point of view, surely it's personal choice who he wants
- 44:11Speaker 2: to be coupled up with.
- 44:13Speaker 11: Agree. Yeah, this barely registers on some compared to other things.
- 44:18Speaker 11: He said he married his high school sweethearts. The couple's
- 44:20Speaker 11: been together for over two decades, and he shares three
- 44:23Speaker 11: children with her. He's a great role model in that department.
- 44:27Speaker 11: People are allowed to have preferences when it comes to relationships.
- 44:31Speaker 11: I think we spend so much time demanding tolerance for
- 44:33Speaker 11: every lifestyle choice. That should include traditional arrangements too.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Absolutely, And you know what, there will be a lot
- 44:41Speaker 2: of mums who stay at home who are angry about that.
- 44:46Speaker 2: But again, he's entitled to his point of view, and
- 44:51Speaker 2: you probably don't want to be with a man who
- 44:52Speaker 2: doesn't appreciate all the hard work you do around the house.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Let's talk about Justin Baldoni, whose lawyer has that released
- 45:00Speaker 2: the full settlement agreement with Blake Lively to provide some
- 45:04Speaker 2: clarity because there's been all sorts of reporting about who's
- 45:07Speaker 2: really been the winner out of this kinsey. His lawyer
- 45:11Speaker 2: is hoping it will help both parties move on from
- 45:14Speaker 2: their contentious legal battle.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Was there a.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Winner in this deal? Was there someone who came out
- 45:22Speaker 2: with their reputation a little bit more intact than the
- 45:25Speaker 2: other party.
- 45:27Speaker 11: I'll tell you who the winner of this deal was
- 45:29Speaker 11: the attorneys who are loaded today and probably put they
- 45:33Speaker 11: could probably send their kid to Eaton if they really
- 45:36Speaker 11: needed to after this ridiculous legal battle. I suspect that
- 45:40Speaker 11: the arrangement does show Justin didn't agree to any real wrongdoing.
- 45:44Speaker 11: We just wanted this to end. At this point, both
- 45:47Speaker 11: sides seem exhausted. Baldoni's seem clearly believes transparency helps their case,
- 45:53Speaker 11: but the public was already sided with Baldoni. So again,
- 45:57Speaker 11: the only winners in these celebrity legal battles are the lawyers.
- 46:03Speaker 2: What possessed Blake Lively to start this in the first place,
- 46:08Speaker 2: because before she set this craziness into motion, she was
- 46:15Speaker 2: the eat girl. Everyone loved her. Yeah, there was a
- 46:18Speaker 2: little bit of bad press with some of the old
- 46:21Speaker 2: clips that were resurfaced of her being mean to interviewers
- 46:24Speaker 2: and having a bit of a mean girl edged to her,
- 46:27Speaker 2: but that would have been forgotten in no time, and
- 46:30Speaker 2: now the way she is seen by the public is
- 46:33Speaker 2: so dramatically different to a couple of years ago.
- 46:36Speaker 11: Kinsey, I think it was ego, she really thought, thanks
- 46:42Speaker 11: to her husband, who is a massive star, much more
- 46:46Speaker 11: taken seriously than she is and successful than she is.
- 46:50Speaker 11: I think she thought she was going to be taken
- 46:52Speaker 11: more seriously as an entity in Hollywood. She wanted to
- 46:56Speaker 11: be a producer. Remember she wrote the Guild asking for
- 47:00Speaker 11: that producer credit. But what a messed up professionally. She
- 47:06Speaker 11: will never recover from this. It's in my opinion, I
- 47:09Speaker 11: don't think people will ever accept her or forgive her
- 47:14Speaker 11: for this tantrum.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Well, it just so much came out afterwards, and most
- 47:22Speaker 2: of it not very good. Now, James Franco has sparked
- 47:26Speaker 2: concern after appearing in a series of increasingly odd TikTok videos.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Have a look Kinsey. We haven't seen much of him
- 47:51Speaker 2: since he well disappeared from Hollywood in around twenty eighteen.
- 47:55Speaker 2: He was hit with a bunch of sexual misconduct allegations.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Is a is this a said piece? Is this something
- 48:04Speaker 2: to be concerned about? Or do you think this is
- 48:06Speaker 2: part of some sort of a production to reintroduce him
- 48:11Speaker 2: to audiences.
- 48:14Speaker 11: I love James Franco. He didn't do anything illegal. He
- 48:17Speaker 11: admits he dated some fans, but insists he didn't start
- 48:20Speaker 11: his acting school two date fans. I mean these were
- 48:22Speaker 11: consenting adults. People are still fascinated by what happened to
- 48:27Speaker 11: him and whether Hollywood will ever fully welcome him back.
- 48:30Speaker 11: They should Comedically, I think he's much funnier and more
- 48:33Speaker 11: attractive than Seth Rogan who threw him under the bus.
- 48:36Speaker 11: I'm team James Franco. Let's bring him back.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Well, let's go back. What were the allegations. Was he
- 48:44Speaker 2: essentially a bad boyfriend, a bad date, or whether actual
- 48:48Speaker 2: Harvey Weinstein type allegations against him.
- 48:53Speaker 11: So it erupted in the midst of the me too
- 48:56Speaker 11: chaos where everybody popped up with his story and he
- 48:59Speaker 11: was wearing a Times up button which was for women
- 49:01Speaker 11: at an award show, and some young women that went
- 49:04Speaker 11: to his acting school that had a they had relationships
- 49:08Speaker 11: with him, came out and said that those relationships they
- 49:10Speaker 11: felt like they were inappropriate because of the power dynamic.
- 49:14Speaker 11: They were adults, you know, and they dated their teacher.
- 49:18Speaker 11: I mean, it happens all the time, and so I
- 49:22Speaker 11: never really understood the massive meltdown over that.
- 49:26Speaker 2: I remember the me too hysteria, and there were guilty
- 49:29Speaker 2: parties and not guilty parties, and all were sort of
- 49:32Speaker 2: tied by the same brush. Kinsey Schofield, thank you so
- 49:35Speaker 2: much for your time and that's all the time we
- 49:38Speaker 2: have done. Guy anywhere, News Night is up next
