- 0:03Hello and welcome back to an episode of banted Lorencia.
- 0:06How are you all doing every doing great for today's episode
- 0:09I want to talk about Bam Bam and her husband Teddy a.
- 0:14Now word on the street is that Bam Bam and Teddy a are heading
- 0:19for Splitville. Now for some of you who don't
- 0:22know Bam Bam and Teddy a met in Big Brother house.
- 0:26Their chemistry was of the charts.
- 0:30They were sleeping together. They were doing the do in the
- 0:33Big Brother house. People were looking at Bam Bam
- 0:37like, you know, immorally bankrupt, you know, lady, like
- 0:41why would you go into a Big Brother house to be sleeping
- 0:44with a guy who was in a relationship at that time and he
- 0:48had a child. So people were not happy with
- 0:50Bam Bam. But Bam Bam and Teddy a were
- 0:53like firewood and fire. They were they, they were into
- 0:58each other. When they came out, their
- 1:01relationship grew stronger. Brands, we are shipping them
- 1:05together. Before you know it, Bam Bam was
- 1:07pregnant. They planned the wedding.
- 1:10They went to Dubai. They had a very big wedding.
- 1:13Bam Bam gave birth to the first child, gave birth to the second
- 1:15child. Bam Bam at that point was
- 1:18looking, you know, a woman that had two children who is also
- 1:22very endowed. She decided to go for
- 1:26liposuction. She did like PO.
- 1:28She sucked out all the unwanted fart and transferred it to you
- 1:34know, her bum bum and bum bum became a hot cake.
- 1:39Before you know she became a star in Nollywood.
- 1:43Before then she was you know when people leave Big Brother
- 1:46house, usually they become influencers, they marry rich or
- 1:53they start a business or they go into acting.
- 1:56So Bum Bum chose to be a Hollywood actress after Bam
- 2:00Bam's life. Liposuction or money or bully
- 2:04contracted her for a movie Odugo para before you could say Jack
- 2:09that movie. That movie has grossed over 30
- 2:13million views on YouTube. I'm counting they had done a
- 2:16Part 2 and it is also doing amazingly well now on Teddy A.
- 2:22On the other hand, according to Teddy A, he was a very known
- 2:26artist in America before he came to Nigeria to do Big Brother.
- 2:31So Teddy A to him, he has always been a star.
- 2:35But we did know Teddy A, Big Brother brought out Bam Bam and
- 2:39Teddy A and because of their relationship, people were
- 2:42interested in the two of them. So after, you know, Big Brother,
- 2:48after the marriage, the hype and everything, Bam Bam was the one
- 2:52getting pregnant, having children, getting the
- 2:55endorsement deals. People were talking about her
- 2:56body, how her body has changed, how she had gained weight, how
- 3:01she went on liposuction. So the news was about Bam Bam.
- 3:07Some people said Teddy E was not really doing much.
- 3:11He started hosting a podcast and he had interviewed Bam Bam
- 3:18sometime in the podcast and it was a success because Bam Bam
- 3:23people like hearing what Bam Bam had to say because she's
- 3:26controversial and all those kind of things.
- 3:29And then when Bam Bam went from being a Big Brother star, being
- 3:34an influencer to being a Nollywood bankable actress was
- 3:39when they said that their marriage started having issues.
- 3:45Bam Bam was now being booked like she is booked and busy
- 3:50seven days a week, almost 24 hours in a day.
- 3:53Bam Bam was busy. And because they had two
- 3:56toddlers, according to the story, Telly A was now the house
- 4:01husband. Although he's doing the podcast,
- 4:04he was not happy about it because I mean, he's there
- 4:08taking the kids to school. I mean, podcast is one or two
- 4:10hours you shoot, but then he is there to take the kids to
- 4:14school, bring them back home, feed them basically.
- 4:18I know they will have nannies, but he will be the one
- 4:20supervising the nannies and the kids.
- 4:25And what on the street was that Teddy was not having it?
- 4:28So when Bam Bam decided to do the Part 2 of Odugu Odugu Para,
- 4:34I think love a camera, the name of that movie, that was the last
- 4:40straw for their marriage, allegedly.
- 4:44And then Bam Bam without travelling, meaning if you
- 4:48travel, if you shoot a movie, you have to promote the movie.
- 4:51Although all money or bully is not the type that was asked, you
- 4:54know, actors to dance, to do crazy things to promote movies.
- 4:58But they go to cinemas, they do all the shoots, skits, all these
- 5:03little, little things to make sure that they keep the movie
- 5:07alive in people's views. Bam Bam and Teddy were having
- 5:15issues. People started talking because
- 5:19when Odo Gopala departure was released, Teddy A wished Bam Bam
- 5:23success. You know, he congratulated her
- 5:25on social media. People were like what?
- 5:28Why would he congratulate her on social media?
- 5:31That's your wife. You should be doing that at
- 5:33home. The first one, we never heard
- 5:36anything from you because obviously you guys are married.
- 5:39So all the success you hear about it, you congratulate her
- 5:43because she is your wife. So people started digging in.
- 5:47That was when they realised that Bam Bam and Teddy A had actually
- 5:51unfollowed each other on social media.
- 5:58Big Brother fans lost it because they said this is crazy.
- 6:04These are people we criticised from the beginning, but we later
- 6:10fell in love with them because of the way that they loved each
- 6:14other. So what are we going to do now
- 6:17that they are no longer together?
- 6:19Where do you want us to stand? How do we even start judging
- 6:22this matter? A lot of people said that the
- 6:25problem was because Bam Bam was busy when he married Bam Bam or
- 6:30when he got married, Bam Bam was more or less jobless, so she
- 6:35wasn't really doing anything. He was the one who felt he was
- 6:39the star, he was a music artist, he was this, he was that.
- 6:43He was providing for the family. But now that Bam Bam has stepped
- 6:47away from his shadows and not just stepped into the light, but
- 6:52stepped into stardom. Teddy A allegedly is having
- 6:58issues. He couldn't cope.
- 7:00He couldn't just fathom that bam bam that everybody was
- 7:04criticising. Calling names is now the star of
- 7:08their marriage. This is actually not new.
- 7:16A whole lot of marriages or relationship or partnership
- 7:22starts when the woman is maybe under the man.
- 7:27Because most times Nigerian men, especially Nigerian men because
- 7:33of their ego, they will always go for somebody they can take
- 7:35care of, somebody who would, you know, ask them for something,
- 7:39Somebody that they know that if she need certain amount of
- 7:44money, they should be able to provide that money for them or
- 7:47provide some of that money for them.
- 7:50Like if you're dating somebody who is very rich and their
- 7:53problem is probably $20,000, I mean where do you start from?
- 7:59So they prefer to date people who their problem is probably
- 8:042K. So even if they don't have 2K,
- 8:06they will have 1K or 200 naira that they can give.
- 8:09So that is the mentality of some Nigerian men, which is why most
- 8:13times relationship starts with the man having the upper hand,
- 8:17the upper financial hand. And then women, these days we
- 8:23are online, you can make money, there's so many things, even
- 8:26married women with children, you can sit in your home and make
- 8:29money. So things have changed, things
- 8:33have changed. So I think Nigeria may need to
- 8:37update their, I don't know their CV or their mind or their,
- 8:45their, their operating system. Because if they continue like
- 8:49this is going to be a problem. This will be a massive problem
- 8:53because if you're getting married to somebody who you
- 8:55think, OK, at this point I am providing for them and you don't
- 9:00have that, you can't see beyond the fact that this person might
- 9:05grow up or along the line they may be very successful.
- 9:09If you would not be happy for that person, don't get married
- 9:15to them. Go to the village.
- 9:18Even if you go to the village, there are village people who
- 9:23would still. Just because you're in the
- 9:26village doesn't mean you don't have hustling spirits.
- 9:30Even if you're not educated, there are so many people who are
- 9:33not educated who are making millions, millions of dollars.
- 9:37OK, so it's not even about going to the village.
- 9:40It's just the mindset of I, I, I, I married you.
- 9:44You can't. You have to be under me
- 9:46financially and otherwise. Times have changed.
- 9:51People should update their mentality, update everything.
- 9:58I am not saying that TDA is the problem.
- 10:01I am not even saying that Bam bam is the problem.
- 10:03Because at the end of the day, two people, two good people can
- 10:08come together and have this idyllic mindset or have an idea
- 10:13of what they think marriage should should be.
- 10:15And then they come together and it is absolutely not what they
- 10:19thought it was going to be. Or maybe they wanted what their
- 10:23parents had, or maybe they wanted something, you know, I
- 10:27don't know. Maybe they've seen an example of
- 10:30marriage that they want for themselves and now they are not
- 10:34getting it all that their partner is not giving them that
- 10:37exact thing that they want. So it is very difficult for most
- 10:41people to then decide to come together and figure out how to
- 10:46to to rearrange or reorientate themselves to fit into the
- 10:50current reality. That is where the problem is.
- 10:56This is still allegedly, it is still allegedly that Bam Bam and
- 11:00Teddy A is over. But I wish them all the best.
- 11:03I mean, listen, Bam Bam is very young.
- 11:06Teddy A is also young. They have their future ahead of
- 11:09them. They have two kids that they're
- 11:11going to raise. Bam Bam.
- 11:13I mean, she is booked and busy. I don't even think she has time
- 11:17to sit down and kind of process everything.
- 11:20But I just hope if it is true, I wish them all the best and if it
- 11:27is not true or if they're still trying to work things out, I
- 11:31also wish them all the best. Now let me know what you think.
- 11:34It's really this question goes to Nigerian men.
- 11:36You, do you think that you guys, some of you have problems
- 11:41allowing women fly? Or do you think that the women
- 11:45when they get that level of success change?
- 11:50Is it that they change or is it that your perception of them
- 11:54change? Let me know what you think.
- 11:56And the woman, would you would you want to marry somebody who
- 11:59at the end of the day, you're going to be more financially
- 12:02successful? Listen, some women don't like
- 12:04it, but let me know what you think.
- 12:06Thank you very much for watching today's episode.

- 12:10watching. Bye bye.
