- 0:00Speaker 1: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Here for you, Here.
- 0:05Speaker 3: For good Froggie, John and Megan, Welcome to your Thursday.
- 0:09Speaker 3: What a cool, beautiful start. We're running in the sixties,
- 0:12Speaker 3: like the lower sixties that out in my neck of
- 0:14Speaker 3: the woods. It was fifty nine on my temperature in
- 0:17Speaker 3: the car when I first started, but it warmed up,
- 0:18Speaker 3: but lower sixties out on the west side and mid
- 0:21Speaker 3: to upper sixties.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Man, what a beautiful start it is. Man, it feels
- 0:25Speaker 1: good outside. I wish it was like this all the
- 0:27Speaker 1: time now summertime. I like these little mornings like this,
- 0:30Speaker 1: and then I think later this afternoon it's gonna be
- 0:32Speaker 1: eighty four, so it's gonna be warmer later on today,
- 0:34Speaker 1: these nice little starts when you walk outside where it's
- 0:36Speaker 1: like it almost hits you like a breath of fresh air.
- 0:38Speaker 1: It's like, whoh, it's good outside, because yesterday it was
- 0:42Speaker 1: a little breezy.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah. He kept it beautiful, didn't it.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Yeah it did, especially over on the west side.
- 0:47Speaker 5: But you know, it's kind of nice to have a
- 0:49Speaker 5: little break, I think, because this summer heat in Florida
- 0:52Speaker 5: it's kicking my butt.
- 0:53Speaker 2: It hadn't even started his first summer.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Everyone says it's not hot. Yes, I don't understand. I'm
- 0:59Speaker 4: cooking getting my car.
- 1:00Speaker 5: My key fob battery is dead, so I can't pre
- 1:04Speaker 5: start my car because I'm too lazy to go just down.
- 1:06Speaker 4: The street and get Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 5: So I'm getting in my car and I feel like
- 1:10Speaker 5: I'm cooking like a rotissery chicken.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I mean, it's so hot.
- 1:15Speaker 2: You'll be broiled. He'd be a broiled chicken.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I'm getting.
- 1:23Speaker 2: My goodness. Other than other than that, Megan, how's your
- 1:25Speaker 2: morning going.
- 1:26Speaker 5: It's going good. I've got my friend coming into town.
- 1:29Speaker 5: She flies in around two, I think, so I kind
- 1:34Speaker 5: of have just been doing these little spurts of I
- 1:37Speaker 5: don't want to clean. Now now I'm going to clean.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I got up this morning. I'm like, I got to
- 1:41Speaker 5: wipe out the bathroom sinks. So I remember to do that, Okay,
- 1:45Speaker 5: and then when I get home, I'll remember something else.
- 1:48Speaker 5: As long as I remember to vacuum into the important stuff.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I think. I'm cool.
- 1:52Speaker 2: We're good. Frog was the mattress that she was going
- 1:55Speaker 2: to sleep on.
- 1:56Speaker 4: How's that it's good?
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's good.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Froggy was off the last couple of days, and we
- 2:00Speaker 3: addressed the mattress. Megan dried it with their hair dryer.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Yeah, hairdryer, and one of those Amazon fans that what
- 2:08Speaker 5: is it called oscillating?
- 2:09Speaker 4: It turns and it's.
- 2:11Speaker 5: It's not good for like one person in a room,
- 2:14Speaker 5: but for a mattress it's real goods it dry out.
- 2:18Speaker 5: I got new Betty to make up for the fact
- 2:21Speaker 5: that the mattress was what a couple of days ago.
- 2:22Speaker 4: I'm not going to tell my friend that.
- 2:24Speaker 2: But how was your time off? Frog question? It was good?
- 2:28Speaker 1: It was good, took care of some some things, had
- 2:30Speaker 1: to travel a little bit. Yeah, but back now and
- 2:32Speaker 1: all good. No complaints here. How was your how's your
- 2:35Speaker 1: hip doing?
- 2:36Speaker 3: John Well went to Mayo because the people listening at
- 2:39Speaker 3: this time of the morning urged me to do something
- 2:43Speaker 3: about it. So thank you for the urging. Thank you
- 2:45Speaker 3: for Megan urging. Of course I had plenty of urging
- 2:47Speaker 3: at the house. So we went yes yes week, we
- 2:50Speaker 3: all did it.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It teamed up. I went to the doctor yesterday.
- 2:53Speaker 3: They took an X ray and they said, no, they
- 2:55Speaker 3: are because I had arthritis some other hip that I
- 2:57Speaker 3: had replaced. And I was thinking, man, is this gonna
- 3:00Speaker 3: other artifle? I mean hip surgery.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Uh.
- 3:03Speaker 3: They said it didn't look like it was. They had
- 3:06Speaker 3: gotten any worse. So maybe it's a torn something, a
- 3:09Speaker 3: torn cartilage. It still hurts, but it's good to know
- 3:12Speaker 3: that maybe there's not major surgery waiting for me.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Do you have your walker today?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah?
- 3:16Speaker 4: Okay, well good? Are you gonna have it on Monday?
- 3:20Speaker 2: You need it?
- 3:20Speaker 5: I got you an accessory for it, but I forgot
- 3:23Speaker 5: to bring it in.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Did you really?
- 3:25Speaker 4: Yes?
- 3:26Speaker 5: And I chose them the sweet version. I really wanted
- 3:30Speaker 5: to get you a bicycle bell. It's the last minute.
- 3:33Speaker 5: I put it back on the shelf because I was like,
- 3:37Speaker 5: I don't want John to you.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Know, she's given me flair for my walker. But yes,
- 3:41Speaker 2: I could not wait to see this.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Got you one of those pouches like that go on
- 3:44Speaker 5: the armchair of the couch with the remote holder.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Who that Dad's use? I got you one of those.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Put all your treats in theresan.
- 3:55Speaker 2: He does love me? After all?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Three things you need to know to get your to
- 4:00Speaker 1: your checks Friday Eve. As Megan is now treating John
- 4:03Speaker 1: with his book for.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Accessories, there's more to come.
- 4:08Speaker 5: The bird ban is lifted, so guess what that means
- 4:11Speaker 5: fireworks are back at Jumbo Shrimp games this weekend. No
- 4:14Speaker 5: drone shows, no where the fireworks are not happening.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:18Speaker 5: It's America, baby, We have fireworks galore this weekend.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Bring them on. Somebodys don't go torch things just because
- 4:24Speaker 2: you can't. That is a good point, very good point.
- 4:27Speaker 4: You responsible.
- 4:28Speaker 5: And if you live in a trailer park, just remember
- 4:30Speaker 5: these trailers are real close right here.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Cameras the snitch on each other.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Yeah, we do. And the pool's not working so there's
- 4:37Speaker 4: no water.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Really, they turn all the water off yesterday, so yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 5: we can't put the fires out. Jacksonville Beach just approved
- 4:44Speaker 5: the two year pilot program, the one that lets restaurants
- 4:47Speaker 5: and bars to have like bigger crowds for Jags games.
- 4:52Speaker 5: This is going to extend over the next two NFL seasons.
- 4:55Speaker 5: So this is going to be awesome because the bank's
- 4:57Speaker 5: going under renovations, will be able to at least get
- 5:00Speaker 5: the locally at our favorite spots.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I have bigger crowds. I like that.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm really exciting news for Fernandina Beach. They're getting
- 5:06Speaker 5: in new publics. They've had limited grocery options, so I'm
- 5:10Speaker 5: sure if if you're in Fernandina.
- 5:12Speaker 4: You'd be excited about it.
- 5:13Speaker 5: It's growing and you know, we keep having lottery tickets
- 5:16Speaker 5: ab out of public.
- 5:17Speaker 3: So maybe good morning the Big Show with Froggy, John
- 5:20Speaker 3: and Megan and want a cool, beautiful start to your Thursday.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It is going to be a beautiful day today, lots
- 5:25Speaker 1: of sunshine, could see maybe a shower or two, but hey,
- 5:27Speaker 1: it's summertime in jacks Mill's Away Goes. Did you guys
- 5:30Speaker 1: see this story about Garth Brooks.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he's publishing.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so the Wall Street Journals reporting that there are
- 5:38Speaker 1: discussions for the legendary Artists to sell his catalog and
- 5:42Speaker 1: get this, it could bring a sum of two billion
- 5:47Speaker 1: that's what the be, two billion dollars. If the deal
- 5:49Speaker 1: goes through, it would be the largest in history. As
- 5:53Speaker 1: of right now, Queen and Michael Jackson's catalogs pulled in
- 5:56Speaker 1: around a billion. Garth's would almost double the large this
- 6:00Speaker 1: deal ever made.
- 6:01Speaker 2: For a catalog.
- 6:02Speaker 5: I guess it kind of makes sense because he's kept
- 6:04Speaker 5: his music on like lockdown so much over the years,
- 6:08Speaker 5: not allowing streaming services, not allowing certain songs to play
- 6:11Speaker 5: like that. Man has demanded money along the way for
- 6:15Speaker 5: access to his music.
- 6:16Speaker 3: He has demanded things since the very beginning. You know,
- 6:19Speaker 3: when he first came out in nineteen eighty nine, People
- 6:22Speaker 3: magazine wanted to do a cover on country music and
- 6:25Speaker 3: they wanted Garth Brooks and Clint Black to both be
- 6:28Speaker 3: on the cover because Clint Black was a lot hotter
- 6:30Speaker 3: first before Garth was, and they wanted them both to
- 6:32Speaker 3: be on the cover, and Garth said, no, it's either
- 6:35Speaker 3: me or I'm not doing it.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So he's kind of been in control from the beginning.
- 6:41Speaker 3: And this is very indicative, though. Would you say two
- 6:44Speaker 3: billion with.
- 6:45Speaker 1: A be two billion dollars for his catalog would double
- 6:49Speaker 1: two of the biggest deals ever, which is Queen Michael
- 6:51Speaker 1: Jackson pretty good catalogs as would double it.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Did they sell that all at once or can multiple
- 6:58Speaker 5: people get in and buy pieces of it?
- 7:00Speaker 2: It's up to him.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Actually, some artists will sell a song or two, or
- 7:03Speaker 1: sell this or sell that. Yep, he has kept his
- 7:07Speaker 1: and so he would sell it all as one group
- 7:10Speaker 1: of music. Somebody would own it for two billion dollars
- 7:13Speaker 1: and that's that's times truly is incredible.
- 7:15Speaker 3: That is a combination of the publishing and the recording.
- 7:19Speaker 3: So it's a little bit more than some people just have,
- 7:21Speaker 3: like the songwriting, like Stevie nick Solder publishing, but this
- 7:24Speaker 3: is publishing and recording.
- 7:26Speaker 2: It's still that's a ton of money.
- 7:27Speaker 4: My gosh.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Incredible for Garth.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, right exactly. Let's get into Mega's music city minute.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You said something about babies going to sleep to post alone.
- 7:37Speaker 2: What the heck's going on?
- 7:38Speaker 5: Post Walloon's got this album coming out that's lullabies. So
- 7:41Speaker 5: it's some of his you know, biggest hits, but they're
- 7:44Speaker 5: lullaby versions.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Do you have a sample of this yet? We gotta
- 7:48Speaker 2: find a sample of it.
- 7:49Speaker 4: I'm looking for one, all right. I just think it
- 7:52Speaker 4: would be cool.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Maybe I'll fall asleep to post Blona had some help
- 7:55Speaker 5: lullabye version.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Maybe that'll help me sleep good at night.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Tyler Covered and Brian Kelly both updated their social media
- 8:03Speaker 5: bios to say fgl l FG.
- 8:07Speaker 4: So Floria Georgia line lets blape.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Go freaking go. That's a freaking go.
- 8:11Speaker 4: So it looks like they're in this.
- 8:13Speaker 5: They've been telling us now for a while they're getting
- 8:15Speaker 5: back together when I don't know, but it looks like
- 8:18Speaker 5: we are getting closer to that happening. Morgan Wallen, he
- 8:21Speaker 5: made a TikTok joking about his piano flipping incident. I
- 8:24Speaker 5: couldn't help but laugh, to be honest, because he was
- 8:26Speaker 5: at a small keyboard and he said, h right now,
- 8:29Speaker 5: this piano is working.
- 8:31Speaker 4: That's what they told me last night too.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Oh. I was like, today, she's on top of the world.
- 8:36Speaker 3: It's Ella Langley with the big show, Froggy John and
- 8:38Speaker 3: Megan's so good to be with you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: A beautiful start to a Thursday. It's not just any Thursday.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Do you guys know what today is?
- 8:45Speaker 4: What is it?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Today is National Cheese Day? Cheese National Cheese Day. Yes,
- 8:51Speaker 2: time to praise Jesus. Do you remember do you remember
- 8:54Speaker 2: that commercial? Yes, mighty Andese glorious Cheese. I totally remember
- 9:06Speaker 2: that comment. I remember running around seeing that all the time.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Now, p'se glorious cheese originally from like some Broadway show
- 9:14Speaker 3: and what in cheese?
- 9:15Speaker 2: It was food?
- 9:15Speaker 5: I think that's what ploays in my head when I
- 9:17Speaker 5: opened the fridge because I ordered these uh family platters
- 9:20Speaker 5: for like family and friends, and I just snack like
- 9:22Speaker 5: with the cheese, have a snack on it.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You get a variety hold.
- 9:25Speaker 1: On time out when you don't have anybody coming over,
- 9:28Speaker 1: like no company, you still order the platter like just
- 9:31Speaker 1: you and Ali and just sit there and snack on cheese.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Once a week.
- 9:34Speaker 5: But he gets the scrafflings because that's mine. That's my snack,
- 9:38Speaker 5: she says.
- 9:39Speaker 3: At the grocery store and they're asking, so, what's the
- 9:41Speaker 3: occasion you the Thursday?
- 9:42Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, just wanting to take the edge off Thiago.
- 9:47Speaker 2: What is your favorite kind of cheese? John? Mine, Gosh,
- 9:50Speaker 2: I need to be boring, but I love cheddar cheese.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Cheddar, Okay, I like I like a sharp cheddar. Now,
- 9:56Speaker 1: American cheese is not cheese, correct.
- 9:59Speaker 2: It's I don't know. I don't know if the glorious cheese,
- 10:02Speaker 2: glorious plastic. Let's check in with the glorious cheese.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Whether you gotta get saucy wild cheese. Yeah, that didn't
- 10:14Speaker 1: say American, So yeah, no, what about you, Megan, what's
- 10:17Speaker 1: your favorite kind of cheese?
- 10:19Speaker 5: I'm a Goudha girl. I love Gouda, like good Gouda,
- 10:22Speaker 5: not the kind I get in the platter that kind
- 10:24Speaker 5: of sucks. I'm talking about or cheese. I don't like it.
- 10:27Speaker 5: You know, people say, oh, it's always better with feta.
- 10:29Speaker 5: I don't like feta cheese.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Not the biggest feta fan either. I'm not a big
- 10:33Speaker 2: goat cheese guy. Well, I order a goat cheese.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Salad, take off the cheese, and they're like, so it's
- 10:40Speaker 1: not a goat cheese salad. I'm like, you call whatever
- 10:42Speaker 1: you want, but I just don't want to go. I
- 10:44Speaker 1: don't like any cheese that smells like a fart. And
- 10:46Speaker 1: I realize that the smellier a cheese usually the better
- 10:50Speaker 1: it is. I do I understand to get past the smell. Yeah,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I don't like it. I'm not a fan.
- 10:56Speaker 4: There's something wrong with y'all. No, no fetta, no good cheese.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I mean, come on, is there a jingle for goat
- 11:02Speaker 3: cheese and they're all cheddar, They're all showing them eating cheddar.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah. I like some good mozzarella cheese. I do like
- 11:18Speaker 2: it now. I love it.
- 11:19Speaker 3: When you got you know, you put some mozzarella or
- 11:21Speaker 3: some parmesan, you put it in the right thing, you
- 11:24Speaker 3: put it in the right dish, put it on the
- 11:25Speaker 3: right pizza. I'm all for it too, but just sitting
- 11:28Speaker 3: here and just eating it whole I need. I'm sure
- 11:30Speaker 3: I'm with the extra sharp.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Cheddar, freshly grated parmesan.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Or I like the mono ray jack. I do like
- 11:35Speaker 2: monaree jacks.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, meat, I do too, I do too. I
- 11:37Speaker 1: like I like a little spice to that. I also
- 11:39Speaker 1: like a little Mexican three blend cheese like that too.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yes, and that melts really well when you're making tacos
- 11:44Speaker 2: or you're having some homemade whatever.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Do you guys heard of the Born cheeses?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, we like basic cheese. I'm realizing.
- 11:54Speaker 3: With Country ninety nine one w q y K, The
- 11:56Speaker 3: Big Show with Froggie CHOHn and Meghan. Sometimes detect work
- 12:00Speaker 3: is tough. And then there's this case the police were investigating.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Just somebody said that these kids were joy riding at
- 12:09Speaker 3: this house next door, and as the house that emanated from,
- 12:12Speaker 3: they were checking out some joy riders.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
- 12:15Speaker 3: So they show up and there's a sign on the
- 12:17Speaker 3: front door that says, due to snitches, everyone entering my
- 12:22Speaker 3: home is subject to being searched. All cell phones and
- 12:25Speaker 3: drinks will be left outside. If you're not a snitch,
- 12:29Speaker 3: it won't offend you If I search you what. So
- 12:32Speaker 3: obviously the deputies got around to asking some other questions
- 12:35Speaker 3: right about putting an end to the joy riding. Then
- 12:38Speaker 3: they found out they're selling drugs, of course, WQIK.
- 12:43Speaker 1: So did you guys have words that sometimes, no matter
- 12:47Speaker 1: what you do, they just look wrong when they're spelled right.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:51Speaker 3: You know what it is to me? Florida. Sometimes I'll
- 12:54Speaker 3: write Florida down and go, is that right?
- 12:56Speaker 4: Really?
- 12:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:57Speaker 1: Well that wrapper flow right? At fixed that from me?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm like f l O and our id a flow
- 13:04Speaker 1: right of Florida.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Okay, I'm good. I know I spelled it right.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It's weird how there are words that. For me, it's
- 13:11Speaker 1: the word beautiful, the word beautiful. When I spell it out,
- 13:15Speaker 1: it says it's right, But I'm like, it just looks off,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and it's it's weird that there are words like that
- 13:21Speaker 1: that we have trouble spelling, and they say that that's
- 13:24Speaker 1: very normal.
- 13:25Speaker 3: It is what you know, Megan, yesterday when you were off,
- 13:27Speaker 3: Megan and Idea did a spelling being.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we did, and you had beautiful and you nailed it.
- 13:33Speaker 4: I got that word, but the other ones I did
- 13:34Speaker 4: not know.
- 13:35Speaker 5: The only one you didn't get right, was business because
- 13:38Speaker 5: you didn't ask a baseball license?
- 13:41Speaker 2: Hold, that's right?
- 13:42Speaker 1: If I if I have just spelled, so it's it's driver,
- 13:46Speaker 1: is it driver license or driver's license?
- 13:49Speaker 3: Drivers, it's it's apostrophe s I think, because you're the
- 13:52Speaker 3: driver and that is your license, so it's apostrophe s license.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Megan has trouble with my license? Yeah, yeah, I do too.
- 14:00Speaker 5: My phone auto corrects it wrong in three variations because
- 14:03Speaker 5: I can't get right.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I think that's hilarious. I think that's hilarious. I've got
- 14:09Speaker 2: a buddy.
- 14:09Speaker 1: His name is Neil, and I always spell it in
- 14:11Speaker 1: I E L, and it's in E I L. I'm
- 14:13Speaker 1: like I before E. I can't ever remember which ones first.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm like like why. And I think our phones have
- 14:21Speaker 1: made us spell worse because our phone just corrects it.
- 14:23Speaker 1: It's like, oh, here's what you meant to spell it.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Here comes frog again, trying to spell tomorrow right C
- 14:30Speaker 2: O M R O A R O tomorrow? Got it? Okay? Good?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:38Speaker 4: As ears go by, like I'm.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Getting stupider and stupider.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Okay, spell definitely D E F I N I T
- 14:50Speaker 3: E L Y.
- 14:52Speaker 2: You know, John, why are you so smart.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I don't know once again, once again, don't know where
- 14:57Speaker 3: my car keys are, and I i'd be I'd be
- 15:00Speaker 3: bad at hanging something on a wall, but I know
- 15:02Speaker 3: that jumps.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh, hanging something on a wall, don't even start. You
- 15:06Speaker 2: know we just moved.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I can't tell you if you if you, if you
- 15:09Speaker 1: take a picture off a wall around here, those like
- 15:11Speaker 1: seven nail holes behind us.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I'm eventually gonna get straight.
- 15:16Speaker 4: A punch of the drywall.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It might it might be covering up other things. You
- 15:22Speaker 1: ever know, Let's get in the Megan's three things you
- 15:25Speaker 1: need to know to get you through your Jacksonville Friday Eve,
- 15:29Speaker 1: as I like to call it a little.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Closer to the weekend. It feels like.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Anyway, if you're going to the Jumbo Shrimp games this weekend.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Fireworks are back because our our burn band is lifted, thankfully,
- 15:40Speaker 5: so no more drone shows, no more disappointment because there's
- 15:44Speaker 5: no fireworks. The burn band is gone. So we celebrate
- 15:47Speaker 5: America with fireworks. The Jacksonville Beach just approved this two
- 15:52Speaker 5: year pilot program we've talked about where bars and restaurants
- 15:56Speaker 5: can have big crowds outside to celebrate the Jags games.
- 16:00Speaker 4: For the next two NFL seasons.
- 16:01Speaker 5: So even though the Jags are gonna be moving for
- 16:04Speaker 5: a little bit, we'll still be able to gather now
- 16:06Speaker 5: in larger numbers to celebrate our Jags ninety nine days
- 16:09Speaker 5: of summer. We've got a stop happening today at the
- 16:13Speaker 5: Gate Express car Wash, the one on Emerson eleven to one.
- 16:18Speaker 5: So come out, try to get your hands on. You
- 16:21Speaker 5: know this Chevy Equinox.
- 16:23Speaker 3: We have when the dang key, Yeah, that nim Nick
- 16:25Speaker 3: Chevy Equinox should be there because we got it all done,
- 16:28Speaker 3: all old up, and it's all ready to go.
- 16:30Speaker 2: You can don't let me drive it there? No, Okay,
- 16:32Speaker 2: good point.
- 16:34Speaker 4: That makes me feel kind of bad because Froggy, I
- 16:36Speaker 4: think is a better driver than me.
- 16:38Speaker 2: So that's not saying they're not driving either, are you.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Well, if it's a choice, Zach, I think Zach's driving
- 16:46Speaker 5: me and Froggy can.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Find that he's younger than us.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Well, he still probably drives better. I about to say
- 16:52Speaker 2: we could.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Work it out, Froggy. You and me, let's do a
- 16:54Speaker 5: little I can hot wire the car.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Oh D, that's right. Make sure you stop by the
- 16:59Speaker 2: gate today at Emerson.
- 17:01Speaker 3: It's like Emerson and Phillips and swing by there between
- 17:04Speaker 3: eleven and one free carwatches while we're there, and mainly
- 17:07Speaker 3: swing by get the QR code scanned for your chance
- 17:10Speaker 3: to win that Nimnic Chevy Equinox.
- 17:12Speaker 4: That's three things you need to know, all right?
- 17:14Speaker 2: We ned call us nine and ten. What are we
- 17:16Speaker 2: playing for today? On the pop quiz? Stapleton Stapleton, Stapleton,
- 17:19Speaker 2: who all right?
- 17:20Speaker 1: Call us right now? Call her nine, Call her ten
- 17:23Speaker 1: at nine oh four three eight, eight thirty six.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Ninety country ninety nine one WQYK someone's butt when some
- 17:30Speaker 3: Chris Stapleton tickets. Good Morning the Big Show with Froggie,
- 17:33Speaker 3: John and Meghan, Froggy and Meghan.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Did y'all see this?
- 17:36Speaker 3: That Google is asking the federal government for permission to
- 17:40Speaker 3: let go of as many as thirty two million specially
- 17:44Speaker 3: treated mosquitoes over the next two years, and Florida is
- 17:47Speaker 3: one of the states they want to release them in.
- 17:49Speaker 4: What are they always? Is it the Everglades?
- 17:51Speaker 5: Why don't I always jumped up in the Everglades?
- 17:53Speaker 2: We got Burmese pythons down there, Just go down there.
- 17:56Speaker 2: But then I saw their like they said, they're good mosquitoes.
- 17:59Speaker 2: What the heck does that mean? Yeah? I saw that
- 18:01Speaker 2: movie too, right, Invasion of the Mosquito People.
- 18:06Speaker 5: This is seriously gonna affect the python hunting happening. You're
- 18:09Speaker 5: gonna have to not only fight off the snakes, you're gonna.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Have to fight the bugs.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Yes, last week, the mosquitoes are getting used to deep
- 18:18Speaker 1: Now d could be attracting mosquitoes.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that was an old Robin Williams bit. It was funny.
- 18:23Speaker 3: He talked about mosquitos sucking in all that all that
- 18:25Speaker 3: poison and getting high on it and wanting more.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe he was a time traveler like the Simpsons,
- 18:30Speaker 5: because I feel like I've seen this episode.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 18:32Speaker 3: So anyway, Yeah, the goals to cut down on illnesses
- 18:35Speaker 3: spread by mosquitoes. Sandy and Arlington, we start with you.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood's still with us. How
- 18:43Speaker 3: old is Clint Eastwood?
- 18:45Speaker 4: Sandy?
- 18:47Speaker 2: Brandy? Is he older or younger?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Older?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Nope, he's a little younger. He's ninety six. He just
- 18:54Speaker 3: turned ninety six. It was like this week's his birthday.
- 18:57Speaker 3: So Sandy's going to get that point. Good job, I
- 18:59Speaker 3: was good. Guess Andy made it tough on, Brandy. Good job,
- 19:03Speaker 3: all right, Brandy, you get this question first. Gretchen Wilson's
- 19:06Speaker 3: debut single, Redneck Woman took the world A World of
- 19:09Speaker 3: Country Music by storm and it was number one.
- 19:12Speaker 2: And what year, Brandy? And it was two thousand and four? Who,
- 19:22Speaker 2: good job, Nice.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I love that song.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Well you knew it. You knew it exactly when it
- 19:27Speaker 3: came out, too. And we had her play down at
- 19:29Speaker 3: Metropolitan Park. We had a free show at Metropolitan Park,
- 19:32Speaker 3: and we got her. We got her cheap. We got her.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I think she we paid like three grand for when
- 19:37Speaker 3: she was getting like one hundred grand.
- 19:39Speaker 2: By the time she said I love her, she.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Held up her into the bargain though. Alrighty, it's tied.
- 19:43Speaker 3: It's time for the tiebreaker. If you know the answer
- 19:45Speaker 3: to this question, shout your name. I will give a
- 19:49Speaker 3: multiple choice, but if you know it, jump in.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 19:52Speaker 3: What year did Disney World open in Orlando? What year
- 19:56Speaker 3: did Disney World open? Was it nineteen eighty four or
- 20:00Speaker 3: nineteen seventy one?
- 20:02Speaker 4: Sandy?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Sandy, seventy one? Seventy one is your answer? It is correct, Brandy.
- 20:09Speaker 2: We appreciate you playing.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Thanks so wq IK it was the biggest noise you
- 20:13Speaker 3: just missed as Morgan. Why he wasn't flipping a piano. No, no, Froggy,
- 20:18Speaker 3: what was that I'd dropped my phone that made the
- 20:22Speaker 3: loudest noise on your microphone. Man, it was like this,
- 20:25Speaker 3: Oh oh, I see it now, but.
- 20:27Speaker 4: It sounded like you fell through your floor.
- 20:29Speaker 2: And I was focusing in on about to talk in here, Boom,
- 20:34Speaker 2: drop my phone and of course it hit everything possible
- 20:36Speaker 2: on the console on.
- 20:37Speaker 3: The way down, kronk at the crunk, Froggy, John and Meghan,
- 20:41Speaker 3: We're the big show. Good to be with you with
- 20:42Speaker 3: Country ninety nine one wq IK so we.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Talked about it earlier.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Today is National Cheese Day and you can choose to
- 20:49Speaker 1: celebrate Horvey. You'd like what you know, like cheese on
- 20:52Speaker 1: John and I found out that we are very plain
- 20:55Speaker 1: cheese people.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Meghan likes what I like to call weird cheeses. Yes,
- 20:59Speaker 2: Sandy like cheese too, want sandy. She liked Asciaga in
- 21:03Speaker 2: the pop quiz today.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, which is sandy like the She liked Cheddar
- 21:07Speaker 3: and Brandy like the Asiaga.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Oh that's right, but that's not exotic.
- 21:10Speaker 5: I mean, just because you guys are munched on Colby
- 21:12Speaker 5: Jack thinking that you like.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Okay, so since you want to make fun of us,
- 21:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you. I found what the top five cheeses
- 21:21Speaker 1: are according to the USDA here in the United States.
- 21:24Speaker 2: You ready.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Number five is Queso fresco, which is like a Mexican cheese.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Number four Swiss, number three, cream cheese, number two cheddar.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Number one is mozzarella. See so we like the normal cheeses.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, now you're.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Monster whatever our weird care air and all the breathe.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Things that can't.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Pronounce cream cheese shouldn't even be on that list. That's
- 21:49Speaker 5: like not in the same category.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Man, it's cheese. It's so good.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Cottage cheese is like cream cheese category.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Cottage cheese, curdled milk.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Don't even put cream cheese, take cream cheese and caught
- 22:00Speaker 3: his cheese out of your mouth at the same time.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Man, you know what Tomorrow jes is part of heaven?
- 22:05Speaker 1: What is tomorrow Tomorrow's National Donut Day? Now we can
- 22:09Speaker 1: get down with that. Definitely down with donuts.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I can Froggy's not getting any You
- 22:15Speaker 5: remember that day once was an accident twice.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it seems intentional.
- 22:19Speaker 2: There's intent.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Remember that day John ordered donuts. I was so excited
- 22:24Speaker 1: for those donuts. I was asking, Hey, they get here yet, No,
- 22:27Speaker 1: not yet, they get here yet, No, not yet.
- 22:29Speaker 3: They were special Easter donuts too, and I was just
- 22:31Speaker 3: buying them for the room. I was buying them for us,
- 22:34Speaker 3: just to have some Easter donuts. And then I told
- 22:37Speaker 3: Froggy in the hallways we're walking, say.
- 22:38Speaker 2: I just got donuts. Donuts ontho. Yeah, okay, great. I
- 22:41Speaker 2: didn't walked to the other side of the building.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I was not that far away. And then they came.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Megan's like, yeah, I look for Frog. I didn't see him.
- 22:48Speaker 4: She swiped all the donuts and left. I took it.
- 22:51Speaker 4: John brought him to me.
- 22:52Speaker 5: I had to go to the VA, so I ate
- 22:54Speaker 5: him in the car at the VA and then gave
- 22:56Speaker 5: him to the dog at home.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Insult was insult, mister injury, mister injury, mister innseol. She
- 23:02Speaker 3: gave him to the dog, fro Us.
- 23:03Speaker 4: She loved him.
- 23:05Speaker 5: She had really good reviews from that that she did.
- 23:09Speaker 1: And then the next day John tried to send donuts
- 23:12Speaker 1: somewhere else and he sent him to his old house,
- 23:14Speaker 1: his old neighbor gotten and.
- 23:15Speaker 3: He sold his house to fifteen years and I tried
- 23:17Speaker 3: to do that and I went through door dash.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I guess I hadn't done doornash since I moved three
- 23:22Speaker 2: years ago.
- 23:22Speaker 5: But I felt bad and I ordered Chick Fly you
- 23:24Speaker 5: did because it was in the accident as well.
- 23:27Speaker 2: That ends well though.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Tomorrow's National donat Dad, I'm getting own dang donuts. Okay,
- 23:33Speaker 1: I'm moral of the story here. So if you want
- 23:34Speaker 1: to celebrate tomorrow, all kinds of deals everywhere. Duncan's doing deals.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Of course. Krispy Kreme never ever, ever misses a chance
- 23:43Speaker 1: to participate in whatever's going on in pop culture.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Trust me, they'll be Christy Cream deals as well tomorrow,
- 23:49Speaker 2: right he would.
- 23:49Speaker 3: If Morgan Walland comes through, he'd have a sand on,
- 23:52Speaker 3: a Boots donut.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Or something exactly exactly.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Let's get into up Meccan's three things you need to
- 23:57Speaker 1: know to get you through today?
- 23:58Speaker 2: This Jack's Thursday. What's going on? Meghan?
- 24:00Speaker 5: There's a new Publix opening up in Fernandina Beach.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Oh, John and I gotta go now we know.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys, you guys bet a carpool with the
- 24:08Speaker 5: price of gas cheese samples.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Cheese samples.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Yes, this weekend at the Jumbo Shrimp game, the fireworks
- 24:14Speaker 5: will be back because our burn band has lifted. But
- 24:18Speaker 5: that doesn't mean go too crazy, like go see the
- 24:20Speaker 5: fireworks at the game. That don't be lighting them up
- 24:23Speaker 5: next to your neighbor's house.
- 24:25Speaker 3: No, if you're a Knicks fan, don't light a couch
- 24:27Speaker 3: on fire just cuse they won last night.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Yeah, please not at least not in the trailer park.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Our houses are too close together. Ninety nine days this summer.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Our free car wash is happening today. You can get
- 24:40Speaker 5: set up to win our Chevy Equinox from nim Nick's
- 24:43Speaker 5: Chevrolets the Gate Express car Wash off of Emerson and
- 24:47Speaker 5: Phillips eleven to one. Come see us, get your car
- 24:50Speaker 5: cleaned and get set up so you could maybe win.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Post Malone and Blake Sheldy learned earlier that post Malone's
- 24:56Speaker 3: got Lullabies coming out?
- 24:57Speaker 2: How do you? How do you a lullabies?
- 24:59Speaker 1: That one I did see that I had some help
- 25:03Speaker 1: was going to be on that lulla By album as well.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Well, there you go, big show Froggy, John and Megan.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Great to be with you this morning.
- 25:10Speaker 2: So I know, we don't.
- 25:11Speaker 1: We I tried to and we very much try to
- 25:13Speaker 1: stay away from like bathroom talk too much. But John,
- 25:16Speaker 1: I want to know if you've noticed this lately. I've
- 25:18Speaker 1: been to a few restaurants I've traveled, and it's not
- 25:21Speaker 1: just here in Jacks. It's happening all over the place.
- 25:25Speaker 1: When I walk into many men's bathrooms, the urinal the
- 25:29Speaker 1: floor is soaked. Why is it that there are people
- 25:33Speaker 1: who can not hit the target in a public bathroom that's.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Behooved me forever.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I always always first give it up to Oh, that
- 25:42Speaker 3: thing probably overflowed, Maybe something happened.
- 25:44Speaker 2: No, I used to.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I used to blame the plumbing until it started happening
- 25:47Speaker 3: here and then I can start blaming the people.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Is it still happening here?
- 25:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I hit I will say this, it's been better than
- 25:55Speaker 1: it was.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yes, it has been because they have put they have
- 25:59Speaker 2: put notices warning any kind of any kind of stuff
- 26:03Speaker 2: that normally is around here is on the floor. It's nasty.
- 26:07Speaker 2: It mark.
- 26:09Speaker 1: That's what they're saying is I don't understand. I don't
- 26:13Speaker 1: understand how we can't hit the mark. It's it's a
- 26:17Speaker 1: big mark and you're not standing that far from it.
- 26:20Speaker 2: You're really not.
- 26:21Speaker 1: No, it's it's not it's it's so much easier.
- 26:24Speaker 2: You could lean all the way into it if you
- 26:25Speaker 2: need to.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Maybe in public places, get the little dog potty pads.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I think you're right, I'll do whatever.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I don't understand it, because here's the problem is when
- 26:36Speaker 1: I want to use it, then I got to stand
- 26:38Speaker 1: in that, and then that's on the bottom of my shoes,
- 26:41Speaker 1: and now I'm going to.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Take it with me where I go from there. That's
- 26:44Speaker 2: my issue.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Well, here's something a little disgusting too. Sometimes when you're
- 26:48Speaker 3: going and then it hits that cake or it hits
- 26:50Speaker 3: the little you know, deodorizer in.
- 26:52Speaker 6: There splatter, yes, before and I went, wait a minute,
- 27:00Speaker 6: what this is the Robbie Rose, the old Robbie Roase thing.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Don't peel my leg and tell me it's training.
- 27:04Speaker 5: You guys have Okay, there's shouldn't there be like a
- 27:08Speaker 5: splash guard or something.
- 27:10Speaker 3: It's the splash guard that causes a splash sometimes, right exactly?
- 27:14Speaker 2: It does?
- 27:15Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, you ever here, I'll give it to
- 27:17Speaker 1: you like this man. You ever put ice in a
- 27:19Speaker 1: cup and then you go to get a fountain and
- 27:22Speaker 1: the stream coming out of the fountain, it hits the
- 27:25Speaker 1: ice and goes off sideways. Oh, that can happen with
- 27:28Speaker 1: the splash guard if you're not careful. You gotta be
- 27:31Speaker 1: careful with your with your with your stream.
- 27:34Speaker 2: You can never say that we're predictable.
- 27:37Speaker 4: I am really glad that I'm not a man today. Yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 4: that sounds horrible.
- 27:41Speaker 5: So sometimes you just like, if you have to go
- 27:42Speaker 5: to the bathroom before a meeting, you'll go into the
- 27:44Speaker 5: meeting and you probably smell like pee because you have
- 27:46Speaker 5: splash on you.
- 27:47Speaker 3: There's possible it's on your feet because yeah it's down low.
- 27:50Speaker 4: That is terrible.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Now, you know what. We go through the hell to
- 28:00Speaker 2: get you through your Jacksonvillefore, there's got to be something else.
- 28:02Speaker 5: We need, like a welcome on the outside of the bathrooms.
- 28:04Speaker 5: You guys can brush off your feet or something.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Oh it's a good point.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Okay, there's a new Publix popping up in Fernandina Beach.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Very excited about that.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Their restrooms are always nice, Yes they are.
- 28:16Speaker 5: They are so nice and they're easy to find, which
- 28:18Speaker 5: I like. The bird band has been lifted in our area.
- 28:21Speaker 5: So this weekend at the Jumbo Shrimp Games, you can
- 28:24Speaker 5: see fireworks.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Gay and at Jacksonville Beach.
- 28:27Speaker 5: They have gone ahead and approved this two year pilot
- 28:31Speaker 5: program deal that they've been talking about to allow different
- 28:34Speaker 5: businesses to expand their outdoor spaces, let crowds come and
- 28:40Speaker 5: cheer on the Jaguars while ever Bank is being renovated.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So that's this year because limited a capacity in the
- 28:47Speaker 2: next year when they're down and you can.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Get ready for a Friday, get you ready for the weekend.
- 28:52Speaker 3: But before we're out of here, Big Show, What do
- 28:53Speaker 3: we learned this morning?
- 28:54Speaker 5: Megan, The two of these guys, Froggy and John have
- 28:57Speaker 5: the most boring cheese palettes I've ever heard of in
- 29:00Speaker 5: my life. Thinking Colby Jack is spicy. I don't know
- 29:03Speaker 5: what has come over y'all.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Frog, What did you learn? I learned that Meghan likes
- 29:08Speaker 2: cheese that smells like farts and I like any cheese
- 29:13Speaker 2: that has a jingle.
- 29:20Speaker 4: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Here for You, Here for Good,
