- 0:01Speaker 1: No boy show, I gotta you make the call. You
- 0:07Speaker 1: guys like to be judgmental, absolutely, so let's see what
- 0:10Speaker 1: you think about this. For Sea Bass, he loves to
- 0:12Speaker 1: be judgmental. He loves to be a judge of jury. Yeah,
- 0:16Speaker 1: watch all there.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It comes.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Yeah, he likes stuff like this. We'll slow, yeah, we'll
- 0:24Speaker 1: full wait, all right, let's get here. He comes there
- 0:27Speaker 1: he is yeah, all right, yeah, make sure you check
- 0:30Speaker 1: out on TV.
- 0:30Speaker 3: And here he ses, myr dumbs work.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Let me let me let me know when you're right.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Listen.
- 0:39Speaker 1: So a woman is accused of theft after she held
- 0:43Speaker 1: part of a security deposit from a roommate that she
- 0:46Speaker 1: was kicking out when the roommate moved in. The deposit
- 0:50Speaker 1: was three hundred and twenty five dollars, and when he
- 0:52Speaker 1: moved out he only got two hundred dollars of it back.
- 0:55Speaker 3: All right.
- 0:56Speaker 1: The landlord's charges included a cleaning fee, shared expense is
- 1:00Speaker 1: a magic eraser like those those are great, Those are magic,
- 1:07Speaker 1: and the cost of some missing candy. Okay, the roommate
- 1:12Speaker 1: was pissed did admit to taking some of the candy,
- 1:14Speaker 1: but Number one felt that charging him over it was
- 1:17Speaker 1: petty and number two that withholding the deposit was against
- 1:22Speaker 1: the law, so it went to court. So what do
- 1:28Speaker 1: you guys think.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Over one hundred and.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Twenty five dollars? I wish how would you rule in
- 1:34Speaker 1: this situation.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I think it's blame and petty, but I think the
- 1:39Speaker 5: that they're right.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I think they can deduct right for stuff that they
- 1:43Speaker 4: need to do.
- 1:44Speaker 6: Saying hey, X, y Z and yeah, have you ever
- 1:47Speaker 6: got one hundred percent of your deposit back?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah? Every time, really every single time.
- 1:52Speaker 4: That's insane, rare.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I mean I I do a deep cleaning. Yeah, I
- 1:56Speaker 2: don't think I've ever had a penny with hill.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'll have the I'll have the carpets cleaned.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I do five hundred.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Dollars to have our last house deep clean, and they
- 2:05Speaker 5: still took out two fifty for cleaning charges.
- 2:07Speaker 1: See, I would argue that, argue that, Yeah, I would.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I would probably fight that. I would have taken over
- 2:12Speaker 1: your standards. Yeah yeah, I would show I would show
- 2:15Speaker 1: the the receipt.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And you were there for how many years? Six and
- 2:19Speaker 2: you had a deep cleaned Yeah, yeah, you gotta fight that.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I told you.
- 2:22Speaker 6: The last one I got fifty dollars deducted because that
- 2:27Speaker 6: little oven drawer on the bottom of your oven. Yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 6: you never used the broiler. I never even used it once,
- 2:34Speaker 6: and they said it wasn't clean and I.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Had I doesn't even know it was there. Yeah, I'm like,
- 2:39Speaker 1: this is a thing for storing lids.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's like a warming drawer or something.
- 2:43Speaker 6: And then the one before that, I mean I did
- 2:45Speaker 6: punch a hole in the ceiling because my neighbor was
- 2:47Speaker 6: really loud.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Well that'll do it, all right, So, uh, Gina grad.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I think the the plaintiff is right even though they're lame.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Okay, Greg Gore, Yeah, I think with holding one hundred
- 2:57Speaker 2: and twenty five is fair for the landlord.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah, land lord, the landlord.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Yeah, this is also an insanely small amounts like where
- 3:05Speaker 3: where the.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Hell was this?
- 3:06Speaker 7: Yeah, that's a cheap deposit.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So the court heard the case and decided that the
- 3:11Speaker 1: landlord was right. They ruled that while the law applies
- 3:14Speaker 1: to most tenants, it doesn't apply to roommate to roommate
- 3:17Speaker 1: situations and it's a shared living space. But they said
- 3:21Speaker 1: that the guy was a slob, and so they had
- 3:23Speaker 1: no problem siding with the landlord holding the deposit.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Good, pretty easy.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So bad match for roommates, But having dude having roommates
- 3:34Speaker 1: blows it does. I was so lucky to never have
- 3:37Speaker 1: a roommate. Wow.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Never.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I rented rather than get a place where I would
- 3:42Speaker 1: need a roommate. That's when I rented the rooms in
- 3:45Speaker 1: someone's house. No, it's not. I never saw these vehoples
- 3:48Speaker 1: consider a roommate then, like some of that you share
- 3:51Speaker 1: all the space with, what did you share?
- 3:54Speaker 2: You use the kitchen and stuff?
- 3:55Speaker 1: I had access to the kitchen, but I never used it.
- 3:58Speaker 4: It was a roommate.
- 3:59Speaker 1: No, Like it was the the two old brothers. The
- 4:01Speaker 1: house was left to them by their parents. It was
- 4:03Speaker 1: in disarray, it was met, they were hoarders. It was disgusting.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So I never used the kitchen. Greg, I had what
- 4:11Speaker 1: was the master bedroom of the house that they rented out,
- 4:14Speaker 1: so it had like a bathroom attached to it, you know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: so I had like a non suite, like a private
- 4:22Speaker 1: in my bad I said master, I meant primary.
- 4:24Speaker 6: That's still your roommates. But I mean even though you
- 4:27Speaker 6: didn't have a lot of interactions.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Agree with on that one. Like a roommate roommate is
- 4:30Speaker 3: where like they're on the lease.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and everything shared and you hang out and watch TV.
- 4:35Speaker 6: I always had the best time with roommates. We only
- 4:37Speaker 6: had one issue one time where when of the roommates
- 4:41Speaker 6: is like, oh yeah, my buddy needs a place to stay,
- 4:44Speaker 6: and it was supposed to be like four days, I
- 4:45Speaker 6: ended up being six months, sleep it on the couch.
- 4:48Speaker 6: But I've been in those types of situations, so I
- 4:50Speaker 6: didn't really have a major issue with it. But then eventually,
- 4:54Speaker 6: like everybody's like, Okay, this guy's been.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Here long enough. He's not like trying to get out,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and yeah, so he has to leave. If it's a
- 5:00Speaker 1: friend and you go on a plate that I think
- 5:02Speaker 1: that's a little bit different. But like when you're out
- 5:04Speaker 1: there and posting an ad looking for a roommate, I
- 5:08Speaker 1: would have no interest of these. You're just gonna get
- 5:10Speaker 1: weird those.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, if it's a stranger, no way. Some of the
- 5:13Speaker 2: best times in my life were with my roommate and
- 5:15Speaker 2: our mutual friend Rip Robin. She and I guys were
- 5:19Speaker 2: friends already, right, it wasn't Robin, but she was a
- 5:22Speaker 2: mutual friend of ours. She came over one night and
- 5:24Speaker 2: to my roommate, we did the ye old put shaving
- 5:27Speaker 2: cream on his hand while he cast out drunk, and
- 5:30Speaker 2: I'll take his face, oh like twenty seven okay, And
- 5:33Speaker 2: then he goes to scratch his face gets shaving cream everywhere.
- 5:36Speaker 2: So his retaliation to me the day before he moved out,
- 5:40Speaker 2: which he thought was equivalent to shaving cream on the face,
- 5:43Speaker 2: was to pour syrup all over the carpet and then
- 5:46Speaker 2: put potting soil on noise.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Oh, I would equivalent, you got burned hard, gread.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Let's vandalize the place.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But was what you said, would he?
- 5:57Speaker 6: Some of my roommates were from member craig List, just like.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I did that one time. But we did interview and
- 6:06Speaker 1: we interviewed them to make sure we did. But again,
- 6:09Speaker 1: everybody sends their representative. Like whenever you meet somebody job interviews,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I always try to like whenever I'm interviewing somebody for
- 6:15Speaker 1: a position, like I try to see through whatever they're
- 6:19Speaker 1: trying to show me, right because I feel like I'm
- 6:22Speaker 1: the distrusting person anyway. But everybody sends their best represented,
- 6:27Speaker 1: the best, absolute best version of themselves, and it takes
- 6:31Speaker 1: sometimes a couple of weeks, maybe even a couple of months.
- 6:34Speaker 1: That's whether you're dating or interviewing, and then you really
- 6:37Speaker 1: start to see how they really are back. You have
- 6:40Speaker 1: to you have to break you have to break that down.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Give them that much time, because like I could meet
- 6:45Speaker 6: somebody within the first ten seconds, I'm like, oh, this
- 6:48Speaker 6: person so well, you're amazing.
- 6:52Speaker 3: This person is not good, has a better he has
- 6:56Speaker 3: a better personal radar than I think most Most people
- 7:00Speaker 3: thank you.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Sea Bass because people were like, well, it didn't seem crazy. Yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: yeah right, and then next thing you know, you're in
- 7:05Speaker 1: a relationship or you hired this person and to trust
- 7:10Speaker 1: and now you're stuck in a nightmare.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 6: And then then and then you uh yeah, you're like, oh,
- 7:17Speaker 6: they seem cool whatever, blah blah, and then you're like
- 7:20Speaker 6: shocked by it.
- 7:21Speaker 8: My last roommate he spent all his money and he
- 7:24Speaker 8: went to Brazil into Ayahuasca nice. So you had to
- 7:27Speaker 8: like kick him out because he wasn't paying rent.
- 7:29Speaker 3: So Sea Bass in your roommate situation, he said, you
- 7:32Speaker 3: did that once one time with non friends. It was
- 7:34Speaker 3: I honestly don't remember why I did this. There was
- 7:36Speaker 3: it was an older, older girl. She was twenty five,
- 7:39Speaker 3: she's pretty hot too, and she was only going to
- 7:42Speaker 3: live in this place for two more months, and she said, hey,
- 7:44Speaker 3: do I need you know Craigslsted a roommate. And I
- 7:45Speaker 3: said sure, and I moved in and they made me
- 7:48Speaker 3: sign on the lease and then she left and they
- 7:51Speaker 3: tried to get me to like they tried to hold
- 7:53Speaker 3: me for the whole twelve months, and I was like, no,
- 7:55Speaker 3: I can't, Like I literally couldn't afford anything. I yeah,
- 7:59Speaker 3: I was buying a loaf of bread and a pound
- 8:00Speaker 3: of bologny every day because that's all I could afford. Yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 3: I had a U Haul repossessed for me during that time.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I possessed because you rented it and just held out there.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I was, yes, I was too young.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I was under twenty five, so I was too young
- 8:15Speaker 3: to qualify for a car rental. But I need to
- 8:16Speaker 3: get to my jobs. I was like, hey, you haul. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 3: And then like one day turned into six or seven.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Then one day I looked out the window and there
- 8:24Speaker 3: was a U Haul the back of a pickup truck
- 8:27Speaker 3: taking the bus home.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Dude, that's ghetto.
- 8:30Speaker 3: And I was working like a nice corporate office too.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Your U Haul, dude, your rides here, that's hilarious. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 3: I guess I guess it's gonna be an hour and.
- 8:37Speaker 1: A half on the bus. That's so you've always been strange. Yeah, well,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I work with a guy who shows up in the
- 8:42Speaker 1: U haul every day. I forget it's up on the
- 8:44Speaker 1: rested development. They would drive the stairs their car and
- 8:47Speaker 1: get to pop up.
- 8:48Speaker 3: After that, I bought somebody's used car, not to live in,
- 8:51Speaker 3: but I lived in their garage for a while, and
- 8:53Speaker 3: much like menace a situation, one of the rooms didn't
- 8:54Speaker 3: like that after a while.
- 8:55Speaker 1: He was like, Hey, dude, what's up.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Who's this weirdo living in the garage? Those were all
- 8:59Speaker 3: friends of mine. I had much I had longer lease.
- 9:02Speaker 1: On that one.
- 9:02Speaker 6: But I will say this, you are ahead of your
- 9:04Speaker 6: time because the street takeovers. They're starting to rent like
- 9:07Speaker 6: U haul trucks and stuff and doing three sixties.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Well yeah and U hauls. Yeah, it makes sense because
- 9:12Speaker 1: you had a lot of these are up.
- 9:13Speaker 3: These are no good teens, and no good teens can't
- 9:15Speaker 3: get a you know, first rent a car. Yeah, I
- 9:18Speaker 3: wonder why because they're not twenty five.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So they go to home depot and get one of
- 9:22Speaker 1: these trucks. You do burnouts and whatever.
- 9:24Speaker 3: If they put it on some either somebody else's credit
- 9:26Speaker 3: card or a debit card that they don't have any
- 9:28Speaker 3: money on.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, eight seven seven forty four, Woodie. If you want
- 9:32Speaker 1: to call in be part of the show this morning,
- 9:34Speaker 1: we'd love to have you. You can always check in. Send
- 9:36Speaker 1: it's a text over to two to nine eight seven.
- 9:39Speaker 2: A Woody show.
- 9:44Speaker 1: There was a something that started at all number of
- 9:48Speaker 1: years ago with a woman. It was after Christmas and
- 9:52Speaker 1: she attempted to bring back the live Christmas tree that
- 9:57Speaker 1: she had bought by eight four Christmas, and it was
- 10:00Speaker 1: after New Year's it was well after New Year after Chris. Yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and then the thing it was completely dead and it was
- 10:06Speaker 1: like a Lows or a home deeper or something. She
- 10:08Speaker 1: and she brought it back and they took it back.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Who doesn't just kick her out?
- 10:12Speaker 2: I know? I hate that. Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And the other place that was always notorious for their
- 10:16Speaker 1: super liberal return policy was bed Bath and Beyond when
- 10:19Speaker 1: they were around, and now they're not around.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Go figure out the Nordstrom famously as well. People would
- 10:24Speaker 2: return stuff there that they don't even sell.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Yeah, like tires Costco too.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Costco. And so a number of years ago we
- 10:32Speaker 1: started something called will they take it back? And Sea
- 10:35Speaker 1: Bass was bringing all kinds of stuff, like the people
- 10:38Speaker 1: that will complain, they'll order something in a restaurant, they'll
- 10:40Speaker 1: eat ninety percent of what's on their plate and then
- 10:43Speaker 1: talk about how it wasn't any good, terrible, yeah, and
- 10:46Speaker 1: they want a refund. So one was speaking of Costco
- 10:49Speaker 1: and their liberal return policy when Sea Bass took the
- 10:53Speaker 1: slice of Costco pizza from the food court. Oh yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 1: all but one byte left, all but one pepperoni slice.
- 11:00Speaker 1: That's right, one one pepperoni slice, and then brought it
- 11:03Speaker 1: his widow.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Tom couldn't handle it.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And brought it, brought it back up and brought it
- 11:07Speaker 1: back up to the to the window and just to see.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And then we try to take a guess if they'll
- 11:12Speaker 1: if they'll take it back or not. And so we
- 11:14Speaker 1: were talking about remember the scene in American Pie with
- 11:19Speaker 1: the apple pie? Sure right, and he humped the apple pie.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And then uh, we were talking about you know, people
- 11:26Speaker 1: putting holes and watermelons, pumpkins and pumpkins and you know whatever.
- 11:31Speaker 1: And so we said, hey, what if we cut a
- 11:34Speaker 1: hole in a pumpkin or cut a hole in this
- 11:36Speaker 1: case of watermelon, would they take it back at the store.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Was this a grocery store? Where did you go? Grocery store?
- 11:44Speaker 7: Grocery store?
- 11:45Speaker 1: All right, And so we were gonna have sea bass
- 11:47Speaker 1: to it originally, and we figured, well, the cops might
- 11:49Speaker 1: get called or something. It might be a little uh,
- 11:53Speaker 1: it might be a.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Guy acting out on his perversions. Because we're this is
- 11:58Speaker 3: a consumer service. What we're trying to do here. This
- 12:00Speaker 3: is for you, the people out there as consumers. So yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 3: we put a layer of separation from it and say,
- 12:05Speaker 3: well let's have a lady do it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:07Speaker 1: So Morgan went to the grocery store with the with
- 12:10Speaker 1: the watermelon. It's got the hole in it.
- 12:12Speaker 7: Yeah, I just sent you guys a picture. It's got
- 12:13Speaker 7: a pretty big hole in it. I wanted to make
- 12:16Speaker 7: it obvious.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Looks like a Gina's husband with the town got it.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Sure does. Take a look.
- 12:24Speaker 8: Sorry, I wanted I want to do. But also, this
- 12:28Speaker 8: was a small watermelon. I didn't get one of the
- 12:29Speaker 8: huge ones.
- 12:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So she goes back in. Will they take it back?
- 12:33Speaker 7: So I have a question. I actually have a return.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Can I do that with you? Yeah?
- 12:39Speaker 9: Okay, So I want to return this produce.
- 12:42Speaker 8: Here's the receipt you when you pull it up, it's
- 12:47Speaker 8: a it's a small watermelon, right. Yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 9: So my husband and I we saw this funny like
- 12:53Speaker 9: article on Cosmo.
- 12:54Speaker 7: Like if you puts his you know, piece in.
- 12:56Speaker 9: There, then it like feels really good, right, and then
- 12:59Speaker 9: if I drink it, it's really healthy.
- 13:01Speaker 7: But my husband is so big that I need to
- 13:03Speaker 7: get a bigger watermelon. This one's too small.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:07Speaker 7: My name is Gina.
- 13:07Speaker 9: By the way, it's.
- 13:10Speaker 7: Just because my husband is just so big.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Take a moment.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's gonna take a moment. Wow, you're looking at what
- 13:21Speaker 1: you were handing. Her was at least in a bag.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Read it.
- 13:24Speaker 7: There was some other lady, so she was waiting for
- 13:26Speaker 7: someone to walk over to.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Just a moment type of okay for the listeners, this
- 13:31Speaker 3: is a watermelon that makes the size of two cantalopes.
- 13:34Speaker 1: But again, the whole is the size of two fists.
- 13:37Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Well, her husband is very big.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Yeah, he's abstantial.
- 13:43Speaker 7: The way, it's just because my husband is just so big.
- 13:51Speaker 7: Take a moment, Norris, it's a great article. Have you
- 13:56Speaker 7: do you read Cosmo? I don't know, no, yeh.
- 14:01Speaker 9: It's supposed to be super healthy for you, like if
- 14:03Speaker 9: you drink it after he puts it in, it's like
- 14:06Speaker 9: good for your your gut biome.
- 14:08Speaker 7: That's what I heard.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Okay, that sounds convinced.
- 14:13Speaker 7: I don't know what to say.
- 14:15Speaker 1: So the person comes over and that's the person you're okay.
- 14:18Speaker 7: Yeah, which I assume is the manager.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Okay, all right, So the question is, well, will they
- 14:21Speaker 3: take this u so not only the premises my my
- 14:24Speaker 3: husband's having sex with the watermelon, but number two, I've
- 14:25Speaker 3: got to then consume the water because it's healthy for
- 14:30Speaker 3: a two B two C here.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, So will will they take back this raped
- 14:34Speaker 1: watermelon from Gina's husband? What do you think? We'll start
- 14:40Speaker 1: with you, Gina?
- 14:42Speaker 4: There's no way. I mean, it's it's decimated.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Yeah, when you see the picture, it's it's there's I mean,
- 14:47Speaker 5: not only is the whole giant, but it looks like
- 14:49Speaker 5: all the way down is empty. Now okay, there's nothing left. Well,
- 14:52Speaker 5: I drink it, guts out of it, right, Yeah, there's
- 14:55Speaker 5: no way.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Okay, no, Greg.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Gory, seeing the picture, I would think no, but hearing
- 15:00Speaker 2: how accommodating this woman is, I'm gonna say yes, all right, menace.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah, they're gonna take it back for sure.
- 15:08Speaker 7: I think they're gonna take it back.
- 15:09Speaker 8: There might be a warning like we'll do it this time,
- 15:11Speaker 8: but next time we can't see.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I think this is a let's get her out of
- 15:14Speaker 3: here soon as possible situation.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of feel that same way, like, do
- 15:19Speaker 1: they want to take it back? No, But at the
- 15:21Speaker 1: same time, you're the manager, big chain grocery store. It's
- 15:26Speaker 1: one watermelon, do you really care? Are you gonna Are
- 15:29Speaker 1: you gonna argue and fight with this person or potentially
- 15:32Speaker 1: not that you were being hostile.
- 15:33Speaker 7: No, we were having a great conversation.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And educational.
- 15:37Speaker 1: So I'm gonna I'm gonna say that, yes, they will
- 15:40Speaker 1: take it back. Let's find out.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Okay, your card right here.
- 15:45Speaker 1: For me to my card here?
- 15:51Speaker 7: Yeah, Cosmo magazine.
- 15:52Speaker 1: It's so honorable.
- 15:53Speaker 7: But it's great, especially if you have a.
- 15:56Speaker 9: Boyfriend and that's the receipt for the return. All right, great,
- 16:03Speaker 9: and then I'll just have to get a bigger one.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yes, it's right that way.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Oh, this is a huge public service because I think
- 16:12Speaker 5: Greg's in the same boat. But like, I won't take
- 16:14Speaker 5: anything back to the grocery store, so I'm too embarrassed.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Now I have nothing to be like, if it's moldy,
- 16:19Speaker 4: I want to take.
- 16:20Speaker 8: It back now I will, yeah, I mean it's embarrassing
- 16:22Speaker 8: to take back, but they'll take it.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he'll take anything.
- 16:25Speaker 6: If you want to see the whole it's on our
- 16:26Speaker 6: Instagram story right now. At the way.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Subscription to Cosmo seventy five dollars a year.
- 16:33Speaker 7: You get a hat and you get a little tips
- 16:36Speaker 7: for sex, you know.
- 16:37Speaker 8: But I will say, you guys are right. I think
- 16:39Speaker 8: I got the vibe of like, let's get her out
- 16:41Speaker 8: of here. Yeah, because you could go crazy to serving
- 16:43Speaker 8: the people.
- 16:46Speaker 7: And of course it was I went to the girls something.
- 16:48Speaker 1: You were being very sweet, but keep on talking about
- 16:50Speaker 1: penis so yeah, drinking, yeah.
- 16:53Speaker 8: Obsessed with them and yeah, I mean, who knows it
- 16:56Speaker 8: could be good for your gout biome. Yeah, someone try
- 16:58Speaker 8: it at home and then text I let you know.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Uh huh, or don't trot it at home because you
- 17:02Speaker 1: heard about it on the show. Please don't do that.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah's kidding, Yeah that's Morgan.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's more ambient funny guys. Yeah, yeah, she was just kidding.
- 17:11Speaker 1: That was for entertainment purposes only, right, exactly. That's a
- 17:14Speaker 1: medical sexual device eight seven seven forty four Wooding text
- 17:17Speaker 1: us over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Really ever, since we.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Had Morgan's will they take it back? Here's another good
- 17:28Speaker 1: one from when Sea Bass has done it? Will they
- 17:31Speaker 1: take it back? This is from Let's See twenty twenty two.
- 17:36Speaker 1: This was after Thanksgiving and Sea Bass went to try
- 17:41Speaker 1: to return this card. The Mother's Day one is still
- 17:46Speaker 1: my favorite, but this one, this one's good too. Again
- 17:50Speaker 1: just testing the really liberal return policies different places.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I was filling out my Thanksgiving cards and I started
- 17:57Speaker 3: this one in my mom, but then I finished it
- 17:58Speaker 3: to my wife and I warning, if there's a away
- 18:00Speaker 3: I could exchange. It's wrote in it, Yes, so's I
- 18:04Speaker 3: hope you always know how much you mean. Happy Thanksgiving
- 18:07Speaker 3: to my queaf and Queen you.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Mom, And obviously I don't want.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Her Queen.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And Queen.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Oh no, how large do you return stuff at a store?
- 18:28Speaker 9: Uh?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Dude?
- 18:29Speaker 1: I bought a little mini fridge that ended up being
- 18:32Speaker 1: the wrong size because it was supposed to fit in
- 18:35Speaker 1: the uh this one open, yes, this space, and it
- 18:40Speaker 1: was a little too tall, and I meant to bring
- 18:43Speaker 1: it back. I meant to return it never did end
- 18:45Speaker 1: up giving it to somebody because it was such a
- 18:48Speaker 1: hassle to bring it back.
- 18:49Speaker 6: I never returned stuff with stores. But you know, the
- 18:53Speaker 6: lady in my life, it's like her full time job.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I always intend I intend to.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's your wife's full time job is picking up
- 19:04Speaker 3: after your messes.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Like, yeah, you spend too much atturning any of my stuff. Well,
- 19:08Speaker 1: that's why I bought the robot.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, one of those.
- 19:12Speaker 6: It's called the Yeah, it's made by one X Technologies,
- 19:16Speaker 6: the Neo Robot.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It's arriving sometime in twenty twenty six and it's going
- 19:19Speaker 1: to have a robot that can fetch them coffee.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Yes, I'm very excited about that. But like, she's not
- 19:24Speaker 6: returning my stuff, it's just random stuff. And my mom
- 19:27Speaker 6: was that way too. You guys remember Mervin's.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, let she was there every week.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Returning stuff, all right. The card, the Thanksgiving card, the
- 19:36Speaker 1: qleef queen. We all know the answer because we we've
- 19:39Speaker 1: played this before. But everybody else, I hope got your
- 19:42Speaker 1: guests in. Did they take it back?
- 19:43Speaker 9: No, because it's thridden already on it and we wouldn't
- 19:45Speaker 9: be able to like resell it.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Oh, I hear what you're saying like how I can
- 19:50Speaker 3: reward it or scratch it out, you know, like what
- 19:52Speaker 3: mom word rhymes with queafing?
- 19:55Speaker 1: You don't want to purchase another one?
- 19:58Speaker 3: I might have to do that, I guess, but I
- 20:00Speaker 3: was just trying to I didn't want to be wasteful.
- 20:02Speaker 3: You know, I'll keep thinking about it. I may come back,
- 20:05Speaker 3: thanks very much.
- 20:06Speaker 1: They did not take it back again. Yeah, Sea Mass
- 20:10Speaker 1: just put up another sign.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yes, I've got a new sign that's going up so again.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Our security people here signs lovely people. One of their
- 20:19Speaker 3: one of their jobs as security is to restock paper towels.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Shows how much security workers does here? Who does it?
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the security people do.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They do They stock the snacks and everything. They got
- 20:30Speaker 1: nothing else going. I thought that was the office manager
- 20:32Speaker 1: guy too, he orders it.
- 20:35Speaker 3: So what they do, though, Greg, and I'm sure you've
- 20:37Speaker 3: noticed this is so they you know, this includes paper towels,
- 20:40Speaker 3: And we have little paper towel holders besides each sink,
- 20:42Speaker 3: and those are lovely. What they do though, is they'll
- 20:45Speaker 3: bring an extra roll of paper towels still wrapped in plastic.
- 20:47Speaker 3: And uh, if the paper towel roll is full on
- 20:50Speaker 3: the sink, they'll just take that plastic covered paper towel roll,
- 20:53Speaker 3: just set it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Down on the counter. What we have limitless cabinets.
- 20:58Speaker 2: They're all empty.
- 21:00Speaker 3: What do you is that?
- 21:01Speaker 1: Just not clutter?
- 21:02Speaker 3: An eye sword?
- 21:03Speaker 2: It is the other issue I have with the paper towels.
- 21:05Speaker 2: They'll be a paper towel holder and it's nothing but
- 21:08Speaker 2: the cardboard because it ran out. So I think to myself, oh,
- 21:11Speaker 2: there must not be more. No, there's more in the cupboard,
- 21:14Speaker 2: but you use the last one and then you just walk.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Well that's it is. And because everybody who works here
- 21:20Speaker 2: turns into an animal when they walk through the door.
- 21:22Speaker 3: So my sign says extra paper towels go in the
- 21:25Speaker 3: cabin it's not in the counter with little up arrow
- 21:27Speaker 3: and down. Well, you know what, because if I told
- 21:31Speaker 3: it to them, I don't think they don't they get it.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And I'm also not the they wouldn't get it.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I think one of them would get it.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Well, it's not to get Yeah, they don't seem like it,
- 21:39Speaker 3: no offense, they don't seem like highly like I'm not
- 21:40Speaker 3: the right person to tell it to them.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'm not there, I'm not their boss.
- 21:42Speaker 3: You're too smart for them right already too high level conversation.
- 21:47Speaker 3: I've already broken them of one bad habit where boy,
- 21:49Speaker 3: we have again limitless counters where they would take the
- 21:53Speaker 3: plastic utensils, knife, forks, et cetera. And they would put
- 21:56Speaker 3: those in coffee cups and stack those in the counter
- 21:58Speaker 3: as opposed to in the drawers where they belong.
- 21:59Speaker 1: So I look at them, I don't care about any
- 22:01Speaker 1: of this.
- 22:01Speaker 6: The thing that I don't understand, I thought this was
- 22:04Speaker 6: the this sign was gonna be for the bathroom.
- 22:06Speaker 1: That's what I thought too. I thought it was for
- 22:08Speaker 1: because people will grab paper towels to dry their hands,
- 22:11Speaker 1: and there's a big garbage can right there. Somehow they
- 22:14Speaker 1: can't get the paper towel into the garbage can and
- 22:16Speaker 1: it ends up on the floor. They they see, they
- 22:21Speaker 1: see that it hits the floor, and they good enough
- 22:24Speaker 1: and they keep they just keep walking out. The other
- 22:26Speaker 1: thing they'll do is there's another paper towel dispenser on
- 22:28Speaker 1: the counter between the two sinks. They'll take however many
- 22:31Speaker 1: they need, it be a couple extra that sit on
- 22:34Speaker 1: the counter because they came out from the dispenser and
- 22:36Speaker 1: they just sit on the counter to then just get
- 22:38Speaker 1: wet by everybody splashes just soaked, and they just leave them.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I thought that's what your sign was. That's another paper
- 22:47Speaker 1: towels go in this trash can.
- 22:49Speaker 5: But I think we can all agree that, Like women
- 22:51Speaker 5: are very messy. My side of the bathroom is insane,
- 22:54Speaker 5: but we're not dirty, Like we're not leaving trash next
- 22:58Speaker 5: to trash can and peeing on the wall.
- 23:00Speaker 7: We have clutter exactly because that's you guys.
- 23:03Speaker 4: What you're talking about is a biohazard issue.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yes, And would he I agree with Sea Bass. You
- 23:07Speaker 2: of all people, you're like, oh, they're putting utensils in
- 23:10Speaker 2: a cup. I don't care about that.
- 23:13Speaker 1: An organized place, I don't necessarily care about that. If
- 23:17Speaker 1: a handful of plastic forks and he's put them on
- 23:20Speaker 1: the counter all loose, like the way the Sea Bass
- 23:23Speaker 1: keeps his his utensils at his apartment to like in
- 23:26Speaker 1: a drawer, would just throw them in they're all loose, you,
- 23:29Speaker 1: I would throw plastic utensils loose in, just all loose, right,
- 23:31Speaker 1: Like I wouldn't want to deal with that. But like,
- 23:34Speaker 1: if they're in a cup on the counter, I'm.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Drawers design for this, drawers with utensil.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Holder the counter with paper towels, and that that part
- 23:46Speaker 3: of paper towels sitting on the counter, like if they're loose, yes, okay,
- 23:51Speaker 3: I don't like that, But they're loose forks on the counter,
- 23:53Speaker 3: yeah okay, But they're in the cup.
- 23:55Speaker 1: They're organized. It's like how you keep pens in a
- 23:57Speaker 1: cup on your desk, or like if depends are just
- 24:00Speaker 1: all over the place on your desk, that's different. That's clutter.
- 24:02Speaker 5: But what if the cup is sitting next to the
- 24:04Speaker 5: pen drawer where the the counter.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Spaces were working on, not for the other places. This
- 24:11Speaker 3: is more of the fault of the office worker, not
- 24:13Speaker 3: the people that are stalking it, because they're trying to
- 24:16Speaker 3: the people stalking it are just trying to say, hey,
- 24:18Speaker 3: there are more paper towels available if you run out.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And you know where.
- 24:21Speaker 3: If I had a question, I would say, oh, look
- 24:23Speaker 3: at this cabinet right in front of my face.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I wonder if that's used for storage. I wonder if
- 24:27Speaker 1: they're storing.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Things in there.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I think they're trying to help, but I think, for example,
- 24:31Speaker 1: these are all first world problems.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I don't get triggered enough to create a sign you're triggered.
- 24:39Speaker 2: It's not being triggered. It's being normal, Yes, it's being courteous. Yes,
- 24:45Speaker 2: it's being a functioning adult. Like would I prefer it
- 24:49Speaker 2: that way? Sure?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Like does it bother me that they're in the cup
- 24:52Speaker 1: as opposed to the drawer? No it should, But I
- 24:55Speaker 1: create a stop down my day to create a sign.
- 24:59Speaker 2: You're being hyper.
- 25:00Speaker 1: This is a guy who throws here my argument here,
- 25:02Speaker 1: This is a guy who claims that if he gets change,
- 25:05Speaker 1: he throws it on the ground because it saves him time,
- 25:08Speaker 1: and his time is so precious that the act of
- 25:12Speaker 1: taking change from a cashier and placing it in his
- 25:14Speaker 1: pocket is a quote waste of time and doing other things.
- 25:17Speaker 1: He sat and created a sign priority. No, it's not
- 25:22Speaker 1: that it took it. That's not the point to him.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Putting from your hand to your pocket change is a waste.
- 25:29Speaker 6: Of okay, So but I think he would argue that
- 25:34Speaker 6: that time save gives him more time to make sign.
- 25:40Speaker 3: This sign saves me what has now been hundreds of
- 25:43Speaker 3: times of taking the paper, the extra paper tower roll
- 25:45Speaker 3: and putting it up in the.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Like you know what a great country? You know, like
- 25:49Speaker 1: what a get.
- 25:51Speaker 3: To a great country like Japan?
- 25:52Speaker 2: Because they left unless you're talking about curing cancer. Everything
- 25:56Speaker 2: we do is a quote waste of time. Yes, because
- 25:58Speaker 2: you could always say, like, don't you have anything better
- 26:00Speaker 2: to Greig?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Why'd you buy that hat? You could have donated. That's
- 26:01Speaker 1: just the money to the.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Kids, right, I mean it's like, what, what do we
- 26:04Speaker 2: care about it anymore? Nothing? Apparently. Yeah, we need to
- 26:07Speaker 2: have a come to Jesus meeting with everybody that works
- 26:09Speaker 2: in this building, because everybody's a pig.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Well that's every that's every office I've ever been at.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I know it's not it's not exclusive.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Can it can be stopped if you step, put your
- 26:17Speaker 3: foot down. Let me put cameras in the bathrooms people more.
- 26:22Speaker 1: When the show is coming up there, what do you show?
- 26:26Speaker 1: We'll be right back
