Restaurants Association responds to possible liquor law change
It's a law that's been described as a 'farce' and a relic of the 1800s, but by Friday... the Easter alcohol ban could potentially be history. Labour MP Kieran McAnulty's member's bill heads for its final reading in Parliament today. If it passes it could be rushed to the Governor-General for Royal Assent by Thursday, just in time for the long weekend.
