- 0:46Speaker 2: Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a Hallmark review podcast. I'm
- 0:49Speaker 2: Megan and I'm here as your longtime Hallmark movie fan.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I'm Wendy. I'm a former Hallmark hater.
- 0:56Speaker 2: You did it.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I did it. As the words were we're trickling it
- 1:01Speaker 3: out of my mouth. I was like, this is not
- 1:04Speaker 3: even a homework movie. That's true, that's all. That's the note.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Today we're discussing a kind of magic, also known by
- 1:12Speaker 2: the title You Put a Spell on Me, which was
- 1:14Speaker 2: news to me until I went looking for this movie.
- 1:16Speaker 2: As part of our wrapping up our fan favorite Fall
- 1:20Speaker 2: movie Countdown, a movie that didn't even appear on Hallmark.
- 1:25Speaker 2: We'd love to have you join us on Instagram at
- 1:28Speaker 2: geirrels Coon Hallmark at Megan and Wendy. Come be our
- 1:31Speaker 2: friend over there.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Yes, you can always email us at Meganwindy at gmail
- 1:37Speaker 3: dot com. Did you give the Facebook group just the Instagram?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Sorry guys, I was not listening a professional operation we
- 1:45Speaker 3: got going on over here. I mean, if we could
- 1:47Speaker 3: get a movie watch room, it might be different, it
- 1:50Speaker 3: might be more professional.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I don't really want me to do about that. I
- 1:56Speaker 2: gotta tell you, office space in southern California is very expensive.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Eric Rutin, who was on our podcast earlier this month,
- 2:07Speaker 3: he responded, if you don't know what I'm talking about,
- 2:09Speaker 3: I'm talking about a reel that was shared on our
- 2:11Speaker 3: Instagram where Bran and Dan from Deck the Hallmark said
- 2:15Speaker 3: that they have a movie watchroom in studio so they
- 2:19Speaker 3: come into their office watch movies and then record their reviews.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Right when they said this, in my mind was like,
- 2:28Speaker 3: WHOA like, I can't even imagine that, can't even imagine that.
- 2:32Speaker 3: And then when we shared this real Eric who was
- 2:35Speaker 3: on our podcast, goes doesn't everybody have a movie watch room,
- 2:39Speaker 3: and to me, I'm like, well, yeah, I do. It's
- 2:40Speaker 3: my living room. Yes, we just don't have one in
- 2:43Speaker 3: a workspace.
- 2:45Speaker 2: If we don't have a Girl's Gone Hallmark branded watchroom
- 2:47Speaker 2: with side by side recliners.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Oh my god, I would fall asleep every single time.
- 2:52Speaker 3: But maybe not if we.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Were watching them at nine am in our work day,
- 2:55Speaker 2: as opposed at the end of the night, after we've
- 2:57Speaker 2: met every other person in our family's needs. True true, true.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Wow, we got real off topic there. Sorry. Join our
- 3:05Speaker 3: Facebook group Girls Gone Hamewark.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Hey. If you're a fan of the podcast, the very
- 3:09Speaker 2: best thing you can do for us is leave us
- 3:10Speaker 2: a five star rating and a review and a recent
- 3:12Speaker 2: five star rating. Reads found Megan and Wendy a few
- 3:15Speaker 2: months ago. I listened to them every day on my walk.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I think I've listened to just about all of their
- 3:20Speaker 2: Girls Gone Hallmark podcasts. Love the news and notes and
- 3:22Speaker 2: the did you see that They're honest, respectful even if
- 3:25Speaker 2: they didn't like it, and so much fun. So glad
- 3:27Speaker 2: I found you guys. That makes me so happy.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And I would just like to tell that listener to
- 3:33Speaker 3: listen to our backlog of one hundred thousand other episodes
- 3:38Speaker 3: of Just Megan and Wendy. Or join our Patreon.
- 3:42Speaker 2: You know I'm a Patreon We're everywhere. You can get
- 3:45Speaker 2: a free trial app of Patreon for seven days. Patreon

- 3:52Speaker 2: If you're all caught up on Girls Gone Hallmark, it
- 3:55Speaker 2: is time for the synopsis of a Kind of Magic.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Matt, the son of a prominent witch family, is expected
- 4:03Speaker 3: by the witch's counsel to marry his good friend Lizzie.
- 4:06Speaker 3: But when Matt meets Sarah, a psychiatrist, his magic fails
- 4:10Speaker 3: him and Sarah discovers that she suddenly has gained magical powers.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So this movie is from twenty fifteen and it is
- 4:19Speaker 2: also known under the title You Put a Spell On Me.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And as I was saying that in our intro, Wendy
- 4:24Speaker 2: was rolling ories of me like she couldn't believe I
- 4:26Speaker 2: didn't know that. I don't know how I would have
- 4:27Speaker 2: known that. I went to look for the movie and
- 4:29Speaker 2: it comes up under two titles, same photo.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I'm not going to comment until my first impression.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Okay, Nikki Deloche plays Sarah Kane. Nicki has been Busy's
- 4:40Speaker 2: starring as Goldie and the Curious Cater series. Among her
- 4:44Speaker 2: sixty nine acting credits. She will also star in a
- 4:47Speaker 2: World Record Christmas during the countdown to Christmas season.
- 4:51Speaker 3: So I did a little digging. She filmed this movie
- 4:55Speaker 3: in twenty fifteen. She also filmed her first Hallmark movie
- 4:58Speaker 3: in twenty fifteen. This one came out right before. It
- 5:02Speaker 3: just was interesting to me. I was like, I feel
- 5:05Speaker 3: like she's been on the channel a lot longer than
- 5:08Speaker 3: she actually has. I mean, eight years is a long time,
- 5:12Speaker 3: but okay, Megan's looking at me like I've an idiot.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And really not.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Ryan McPartlin plays Matt Andover with sixty four acting credits.
- 5:21Speaker 3: He's probably best known for his role on Chuck. Did
- 5:24Speaker 3: you watch that show?
- 5:25Speaker 2: I watched the first season.
- 5:27Speaker 3: He's also appeared on Cut Color Murder alongside Julia Gonzal.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Jenny O'Hara plays great Grandmother. You might recognize her as
- 5:34Speaker 2: Missus Scanlon Scott's mom from Beverly Hills and I Know
- 5:37Speaker 2: two one oh. But Jenny has one hundred and seventy
- 5:39Speaker 2: three acting credits, including recently one episode of Never Have
- 5:43Speaker 2: I Ever on Netflix and seventeen episodes of The MINDI Project.
- 5:46Speaker 3: So did you notice when I watched this movie? I
- 5:50Speaker 3: showed a picture, shared a picture in our Facebook group,
- 5:52Speaker 3: and then when Jenny O'Hara came out on the screen,
- 5:55Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god, it's Scott Scanlon's mom.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Does anybody know what series she's from? Not get crickets?
- 6:01Speaker 3: Really disappointed? How does no one know who Scott Scanlon is?
- 6:06Speaker 3: I know it's a thirty year old series, but no.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That storyline left an impression on me too.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I was disappointed.
- 6:13Speaker 2: It was very sad.
- 6:14Speaker 3: This movie was directed by Toska Musk. She has nineteen
- 6:18Speaker 3: directing credits, mainly within a series of trilogies Gabriels for
- 6:24Speaker 3: Reetes because the whole one, you said, This director went
- 6:27Speaker 3: on to do a bunch of dirty movies.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Like There's Gabriels Inferno one to three, Gabriels Rapture one
- 6:35Speaker 2: to three, Gabriel's Redemption, all of which, having not seen them,
- 6:39Speaker 2: and I apologize if I'm wrong, they appear to be
- 6:43Speaker 2: smutty book adaptations.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Channel are they on?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. I'm sure they're streaming somewhere, but Cinemax.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I love a smutty book, So no shade from me.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I just when I read these notes cold and then
- 6:56Speaker 3: I come across titles like Gabriels Inferno. I I'm twelve
- 7:01Speaker 3: years old.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I know this movie was written by Rachel Stuler, who
- 7:04Speaker 2: has twelve writing credits, including movies called Correcting Christmas and
- 7:07Speaker 2: The Baby Proposal. This isn't a Hallmark movie and Rachel
- 7:10Speaker 2: has not written anything for Hallmark, got it? I think
- 7:13Speaker 2: we should mention we mentioned in other episodes, but how
- 7:16Speaker 2: this non Hallmark movie came to be on our schedule
- 7:19Speaker 2: when he specifically asked show me the money when it
- 7:23Speaker 2: comes to Hallmark movies with Halloween. We reviewed October Kiss
- 7:29Speaker 2: last week. That's the only one as far as we know.
- 7:32Speaker 2: We're Halloween features enough for it to be considered a
- 7:35Speaker 2: Halloween movie. But people were like, you have to watch
- 7:37Speaker 2: a kind of magic, super cheesy, but it has Niki DeLoach,
- 7:41Speaker 2: it feels like a Hallmark movie, and so we put
- 7:42Speaker 2: it on the schedule. And I know the second I
- 7:45Speaker 2: started watching this movie because from the title she's in
- 7:48Speaker 2: a witch's costume on the movie poster, it's not necessarily
- 7:53Speaker 2: obvious that this is about witches. Yeah, the second I
- 7:56Speaker 2: started watching it, and they're like the Coven says, and
- 7:59Speaker 2: I was like, oh when out like she tapped out
- 8:02Speaker 2: the first five minutes of this movie. Not necessarily. Let's
- 8:06Speaker 2: talk first impressions.
- 8:07Speaker 3: What the fuck is the name of this movie? I'm
- 8:10Speaker 3: telling you because I looked it up on Amazon because
- 8:13Speaker 3: that's where I thought it was, so I looked it
- 8:15Speaker 3: up by a kind of magic. The movie poster that
- 8:18Speaker 3: comes up says you put a spell on me. I
- 8:21Speaker 3: couldn't remember. I was like, messing with my brain.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yes.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And of course when I follow asleep in the movie
- 8:28Speaker 3: and I gotta watch it again for the second time,
- 8:30Speaker 3: I'm like, what the fuck is the name of this movie?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I have to search, Like.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's my first impression.
- 8:37Speaker 2: My first impression is this is the cheesiest movie that
- 8:40Speaker 2: I want to watch again. I know we are going
- 8:43Speaker 2: to disagree about this movie. Let's get into it. Okay,
- 8:46Speaker 2: all right, what'd you like about the movie that Sean
- 8:49Speaker 2: diy named.
- 8:50Speaker 3: The movie with two names? Why does they have two names?
- 8:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I don't understand that was it originally on whatever channel
- 8:57Speaker 3: it was on. I think it was on Ion, which
- 9:00Speaker 3: is a network that I don't think exists anymore? Was
- 9:03Speaker 3: it under a different name?
- 9:04Speaker 1: There?
- 9:04Speaker 3: And then because apparently right now it is available on
- 9:08Speaker 3: Hallmark Movies.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Now, well, you put a you put a spell on me?
- 9:12Speaker 2: So what this is called a kind of magic is
- 9:15Speaker 2: also a queen song? Yeah, and there's a music video.
- 9:19Speaker 2: And when you try and look for like where was
- 9:22Speaker 2: the kind of Magic filmed? Everything comes up. It's about
- 9:24Speaker 2: Uh so maybe they're like the seo on this sucks
- 9:26Speaker 2: and they change the name. I don't know.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But what did you like about this movie? I like
- 9:31Speaker 2: Nikki Delouche, of course.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I thought she was real cute and real funny in
- 9:35Speaker 3: this role, especially when she started to notice that she
- 9:38Speaker 3: had powers.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, when the cookies land.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Right in front of her, when she goes into the
- 9:43Speaker 3: pantry and she's like, just please shut up for thirty
- 9:46Speaker 3: seconds about her friend, Yes, and her friend.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Disappears, that was cute.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I thought all that stuff was great, charming and fun.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Nicki Diloach is obviously the standout star of this movie.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I wrote, She's charming on any network. And I loved
- 9:58Speaker 2: her wardrobe, including her door white pleated skirt. I thought
- 10:01Speaker 2: it was so cute. Didn't even notice so cute. She's
- 10:05Speaker 2: amazing in this movie. I loved her. I make no apologies.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I really enjoyed this movie. No, it is problematic, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: we're going to talk about it. Did I nervously laugh
- 10:14Speaker 2: when the mom starts casting a spell over Sarah and Matt,
- 10:17Speaker 2: knowing that Wendy was going to be like, you have
- 10:19Speaker 2: got to be kidding me.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I hated that part. I thought I was super cheese.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I did.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I decide that I didn't care that Sarah and Matt
- 10:25Speaker 2: were both cheating on their respective partners.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Yet did? Yeah?
- 10:28Speaker 1: I did.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I was like, sne hate the most I.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Know, and you know what, I'm just tired. I can't
- 10:34Speaker 2: do it anymore. I can't do it anymore. They blatantly
- 10:37Speaker 2: cheated and I was like, eh, I'm into it.
- 10:39Speaker 3: All they're meant for each other. Core code is out
- 10:41Speaker 3: the window. I don't care anymore.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Goodbye, Moral Compass. Is this a good movie? No? I
- 10:46Speaker 2: don't think this is a good movie at all. But
- 10:49Speaker 2: a member of our Facebook group mentioned that this reminded
- 10:52Speaker 2: her of the nineteen ninety nine Sarah Michelle Geller movie
- 10:54Speaker 2: Simply Irresistible, which is another terrible movie that I adore.
- 10:58Speaker 2: In that movie. It's a crab that's magical. A what
- 11:01Speaker 2: a crab?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Oh?
- 11:03Speaker 3: Is that where she's like cookie, she's like a chef
- 11:05Speaker 3: or some shit.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's like set in Henry Bendall in the
- 11:09Speaker 2: department Store. You gotta watch it.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I don't want to watch it. Is Freddy Prince Junior
- 11:13Speaker 3: in it?
- 11:14Speaker 2: No?
- 11:14Speaker 3: Does Sarah Michelle Geller have? Is she a blonde or
- 11:16Speaker 3: brunette in this movie?
- 11:18Speaker 2: I think she's a blonde.
- 11:19Speaker 3: I can see the movie poster in my head. It
- 11:21Speaker 3: was all around the time of like drive Me Crazy
- 11:26Speaker 3: and like all those like teenage just inkst movies that
- 11:29Speaker 3: I love to watch.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yes, oh, she's like a redhead in the movie. Oh redhead? Yeah,
- 11:35Speaker 2: straight up?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, look at that. I love her as an
- 11:38Speaker 3: actress to be honest too, I love her. So you
- 11:41Speaker 3: thought this movie was similar to that movie or it
- 11:44Speaker 3: just had the same like witchy vibes.
- 11:46Speaker 2: The same witchy vibes, the same overall vibe, like the
- 11:51Speaker 2: same overall kind of cheesy feel. Again, that's a nineteen
- 11:55Speaker 2: ninety nine movie. We all know. My memory cannot be trusted.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It's been twenty four years nineteen. I was twenty four
- 12:00Speaker 2: years ago.
- 12:01Speaker 3: You don't need to rub it in my face.
- 12:05Speaker 2: So as memory holds, these two have a similar field.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Got it, got it. I think Ryan McPartland is real
- 12:15Speaker 3: easy on the eyes. He's real cute, but a little
- 12:20Speaker 3: dry overall.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of wooden.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Yeah. I have some more thoughts about him in my
- 12:25Speaker 3: wish section. Now it might be a surprise to you,
- 12:28Speaker 3: but I did enjoy the whole Witch storyline.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You I did.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I didn't hate it. It's not sci fi, okay, it's
- 12:36Speaker 3: like spooky magic. I kind of liked it. What I
- 12:39Speaker 3: liked is that we have a male.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Witch, a warlock warlock. The second someone said warlock, and
- 12:46Speaker 2: I had so many alarm bells go off during this
- 12:48Speaker 2: movie when they're like, oh not like I'm going to
- 12:50Speaker 2: meet a warlock in a bar, and I was like, oh,
- 12:52Speaker 2: money's out again.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I didn't hate that.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I won't want you, Harry Potter.
- 12:58Speaker 3: That's witches and wizards fair. But I don't think that's
- 13:01Speaker 3: why I'm not into Harry Potter. Okay. I liked the
- 13:05Speaker 3: whole Witch's Council drama, you know, the whole like we
- 13:09Speaker 3: have to get married or we're gonna lose our powers.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Like I thought I was kind of cute. I didn't
- 13:14Speaker 3: like mom was super into it.
- 13:17Speaker 2: The arranged marriage, just the.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Whole I'm going to do a spell and this. I
- 13:22Speaker 3: didn't like any of that really. I just liked the
- 13:25Speaker 3: mom really.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because even though she like arranged this marriage, it
- 13:30Speaker 2: was because she was on her son's side. She was like,
- 13:33Speaker 2: if you want to keep your powers, you gotta do
- 13:36Speaker 2: what you gotta do. She wasn't like, our family needs this,
- 13:38Speaker 2: but you need this, and then she was all in
- 13:42Speaker 2: on on Sarah.
- 13:44Speaker 3: My point is I like the witchy, which is you know,
- 13:46Speaker 3: I'm going to Salem right I really excited about it.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I'm super into witches right now. Dude.
- 13:51Speaker 2: All right, okay, so I like this movie.
- 13:54Speaker 3: No, I didn't like this movie. I like the witch story.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Like my final thing I liked about it that I
- 14:00Speaker 3: like that Matt and Lizzie knew they did not want
- 14:03Speaker 3: to get married to each other.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, sometimes we get those stories, and I
- 14:07Speaker 3: know this is a Hallmark movie, but sometimes we get
- 14:09Speaker 3: those stories where like the woman is all in and
- 14:12Speaker 3: he's like, no, I don't want to. So I liked
- 14:15Speaker 3: that there was they were both in agreement that they
- 14:19Speaker 3: had to do it for certain reasons, but they really
- 14:21Speaker 3: were not into either.
- 14:22Speaker 2: They were equally not in it. Yes, yes, well let's
- 14:25Speaker 2: talk what we wished for, all right. I really don't
- 14:30Speaker 2: love that Matt's magic basically gives him the roof he
- 14:33Speaker 2: touch we talked about in our recent review of Love
- 14:38Speaker 2: with the Thanksgiving Day Parade. How there's like a joke
- 14:40Speaker 2: in that episode where we're like, twenty twelve, that was
- 14:42Speaker 2: a different time, like men were taking care of women.
- 14:46Speaker 2: This is this is a twenty fifteen movie. Yeah, And
- 14:50Speaker 2: he has the power to take over a woman's mind
- 14:53Speaker 2: and effectively bend her to his will. And obviously he
- 14:57Speaker 2: used in innocuous ways, like he gets her to make
- 15:00Speaker 2: him coffee and give it to him for free, which
- 15:01Speaker 2: is kind of gross.
- 15:02Speaker 3: But super gross.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It's not as gross as it could have been, but
- 15:07Speaker 2: is incredibly problematic.
- 15:08Speaker 3: It could it could have gone either way. I mean,
- 15:10Speaker 3: it could have gone Dante's Inferno, or it could have
- 15:14Speaker 3: been Is that what her movie was called, Not Dante's
- 15:19Speaker 3: was the name of the scriptwriter's other movie.
- 15:21Speaker 2: No director, Oh, oh, oh, oh gay. I was like, wow,
- 15:26Speaker 2: that's a real deep Oh my god, that was the
- 15:31Speaker 2: best I.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Was such a hot I thought that was like the
- 15:33Speaker 3: grossest part of the whole movie, like that he could
- 15:36Speaker 3: like manipulate these women. Yes, just so gross. It's just gross,
- 15:42Speaker 3: and I don't want to be like I'm afraid like
- 15:46Speaker 3: listeners are gonna come for us and call us woke.
- 15:49Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 15:53Speaker 2: It's gross, right, it's disgusting. Colin, the cousin or the
- 15:59Speaker 2: friend has been friend literally is like you take over
- 16:02Speaker 2: their minds, like I give it back to them. It's
- 16:05Speaker 2: it's great. You can call me woke if you want.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I don't want anybody having the ability to take over
- 16:10Speaker 2: my mind and doing it casually as if like nbd, dog,
- 16:15Speaker 2: I will wear that woke hat. Okay, let's talk about
- 16:19Speaker 2: the magic in this movie. I just wish m please
- 16:24Speaker 2: do something with your magic other than a making woman
- 16:27Speaker 2: bend to your will and be moving cups across the table. Yeah, dumb,
- 16:31Speaker 2: it's like an eight year old's idea what magic is, Like, Oh,
- 16:33Speaker 2: I can make my cup shoot into my hand and
- 16:35Speaker 2: clean up messes.
- 16:36Speaker 3: That's all they do, I know. I mean, so you're
- 16:40Speaker 3: worried about losing those abilities, right, so dumb, show me
- 16:45Speaker 3: a reason.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Okay, obviously they use a spell to create these smoothies
- 16:50Speaker 2: that cure colds, among other things. Although they don't say
- 16:53Speaker 2: what the other things are.
- 16:55Speaker 3: What are the other things.
- 16:56Speaker 2: They don't say. Maybe they're care and cancer. I don't know,
- 16:59Speaker 2: but you're kind of have magic, have magic. What would
- 17:02Speaker 2: you do with magic? I don't know.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I would be like make dinner. Oh sure, I mean
- 17:08Speaker 3: all the laundry.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I would have cried the.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Show notes, so we already talked about this. It was
- 17:17Speaker 3: Nicky's character. She had a long distance boyfriend, right, Yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 3: she ends up kissing this guy after like their big
- 17:25Speaker 3: talk after the party. Yeah, gross, stop it.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It's really weird. As Matt goes to his fiance Lizzie
- 17:33Speaker 2: and he's like, I spent all night with a girl,
- 17:35Speaker 2: but nothing happened, right, but they kissed. That's not nothing
- 17:39Speaker 2: to me, honestly, And then later in the movie he's like, yeah,
- 17:42Speaker 2: we kissed, and he's saying it from a Lizzie and
- 17:43Speaker 2: I want her to be like, I thought you said
- 17:45Speaker 2: nothing happened.
- 17:46Speaker 3: But she doesn't care because she's not into that. Dude.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I know, right, even if you don't care, I would
- 17:52Speaker 2: be upset on principle, like, don't make me look like
- 17:54Speaker 2: a fool engaged. You can't act like this.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Yeah. One final wish from me is I thought the
- 18:02Speaker 3: pace of this movie was off. There was something not
- 18:07Speaker 3: It moved very slow and it was very quiet. There
- 18:11Speaker 3: needed to be some sort of like background music or
- 18:14Speaker 3: transitional music or something. I'm not a producer. I don't
- 18:19Speaker 3: know the words. I can't articulate exactly what was off
- 18:22Speaker 3: about it, but.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Sound design needed some help. Yes, let's talk. Did you
- 18:26Speaker 2: see that?
- 18:27Speaker 1: Okay?
- 18:28Speaker 2: What kind of bizarre video calls software auto answers and
- 18:31Speaker 2: turns on the video Like if you call me, I
- 18:33Speaker 2: need to accept that call. It doesn't just like bloop
- 18:36Speaker 2: all of a sudden, I'm recording you wherever you are.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Like that's twenty fifteen, dude, That technology didn't exist. So
- 18:41Speaker 3: they're like nn Skype, fair but fair okay, but it
- 18:47Speaker 3: just like turns on.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Like what if you're changing your clothes and your computer
- 18:51Speaker 2: is open, or you're watching a movie in the bath,
- 18:55Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, it's like bloop.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I guess Megan watches movies and the bath.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I watch TV on my iPad in the bath. Do
- 19:04Speaker 2: you with Bath Season?
- 19:07Speaker 3: Currently? Bath Season? It's so cool what else are you
- 19:10Speaker 3: gonna do that?
- 19:11Speaker 2: I have a tray, do you?
- 19:14Speaker 3: I love it?
- 19:15Speaker 2: I like I like an ice water in the bath
- 19:17Speaker 2: because I get hot like a real icy water. I
- 19:22Speaker 2: like a book or a movie book, so I like
- 19:25Speaker 2: to read.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Can't it get doesn't it get wet?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Dante's in front. First of all, I'm an adult woman.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I can read without getting my book wet. Second of all,
- 19:34Speaker 2: I use a kindle.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Are you free of dropping it in the water.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Being a little bit? But it hasn't happened yet.
- 19:41Speaker 3: You don't put it in a ziploc bag?
- 19:44Speaker 2: Not for the bath?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Okay, all right? I want to talk about the special
- 19:49Speaker 3: effects that we're used. When he knocks over the cups
- 19:54Speaker 3: and anger, like it's like a display of.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Behind her so dumb earth exactly.
- 20:01Speaker 3: And then when he does the blender and it like
- 20:03Speaker 3: goes haywire. Why couldn't he use his magic to stop
- 20:07Speaker 3: the blender.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Right or clean it up something?
- 20:11Speaker 3: This is terrible. That's that's why that.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Whole point there is his magic is misfired.
- 20:15Speaker 3: It's all wacky and out of control. We gotta find out.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Why it's being siphoned off.
- 20:22Speaker 3: You know, I'm sorry. There are people in our Facebook group,
- 20:24Speaker 3: who are going to be so pissed because they love
- 20:27Speaker 3: this movie.
