- 0:58Speaker 2: Good morning one. We got Menace, Hi nin Grad is here.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Yeah, we got Sea Bass, We've got Sammy. We've got
- 1:07Speaker 5: the phones open eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You
- 1:10Speaker 5: can send us a text over to two to nine
- 1:12Speaker 5: eight seven s von our video producer. We've got dumbass.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Tyler Bord is here. Menji is here. We weren't here
- 1:20Speaker 5: yesterday because Monday night was The Woodie Show After Hours
- 1:24Speaker 5: takeover at Disney California Adventure Y.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, it was. It was always. It's always fun,
- 1:34Speaker 2: so much fun.
- 1:36Speaker 5: When we get to this point, man, it's like because
- 1:38Speaker 5: it's like a two month promotion, Yeah, you know what
- 1:41Speaker 5: I mean.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So it's like planning a wedding totally, the wedding, Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 2: the whole build up.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's just like NonStop being like bride and
- 1:48Speaker 5: groom when you're at these things you know, and you're
- 1:50Speaker 5: seeing listeners and taking pictures. So everybody who won them,
- 1:53Speaker 5: who was there, congratulations on the wind. Also, hope you
- 1:57Speaker 5: had a great time. Thanks again to Disney for everything,
- 2:01Speaker 5: you know, their hospitality and even allowing oh yeah, even
- 2:06Speaker 5: even allowing us to do this in the first place
- 2:08Speaker 5: is pretty is pretty incredible.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Absolutely on to the next one.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Talking about and planning for for next year. Awesome about like, oh, well,
- 2:17Speaker 5: what do we want to do different next year? How
- 2:18Speaker 5: do we want to make it bigger and better?
- 2:21Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:21Speaker 5: So a couple to show fun facts before we get
- 2:25Speaker 5: into birthdays and porn of birthday and stuff. The differences
- 2:29Speaker 5: between men and women even include our dreams. I know
- 2:32Speaker 5: we've talked about dreams before, you like, yeah, women, and
- 2:35Speaker 5: I think this is true as I'm reading this. Women
- 2:37Speaker 5: are more likely to dream about friends and family members,
- 2:40Speaker 5: and us dudes, we are more likely to dream of
- 2:43Speaker 5: strangers and more likely to dream about physical aggression such
- 2:47Speaker 5: as an attack. Oh all right, so some of those
- 2:50Speaker 5: like mega violent dreams that.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I've had, ye, women are dress related, like I'm running
- 2:56Speaker 2: late to something, or I'm trying to catch a flight,
- 2:58Speaker 2: or I'm that tracks for great yeah, it's weird.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Women are more likely to dream about verbal aggression, just
- 3:04Speaker 5: like an argument. Yeah, yeah, I love to argue, yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 5: and they love talking right, yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 6: But then when you go to punch someone in the argument,
- 3:11Speaker 6: it's like slow motion.
- 3:12Speaker 7: You can't do anything.
- 3:14Speaker 2: That.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Fourteen to sixteen months is the typical length of an engagement. Oh,
- 3:20Speaker 5: which seems.
- 3:21Speaker 2: About right, yeah, yeah, about a year because any.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Time it depends on what kind of wedding you're planning,
- 3:26Speaker 5: but any time to plan.
- 3:29Speaker 2: How much money do you want to flush on the toilet?
- 3:31Speaker 2: Stuff like that.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yeah, all that planning, all of it, it's worth it.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Yeah, Greg, here's one speaking of stress. If you're feeling stressed,
- 3:38Speaker 5: lose the noise in your life. Science shows that the
- 3:40Speaker 5: noisier your home is, which I don't I don't really
- 3:43Speaker 5: think that Greg's house would be noisy, But the noisier
- 3:47Speaker 5: your home is, the more anxious and stressed you feel.
- 3:50Speaker 5: I know that's the case when I go to my
- 3:51Speaker 5: in laws, I yeah, well.
- 3:54Speaker 7: And you think about like prisons or even like dog kennels,
- 3:57Speaker 7: and it's like everyone's stress because the noise never stops.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Yeah, Like when I'm at my in laws house, man
- 4:01Speaker 5: like I'll go out on the front porch. It's it
- 4:03Speaker 5: could be the middle of winter, freezing, ass called outside.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Where is he? Yeah, he's outside. I'm just sitting out there.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Or I'll go down to their basement, or I'll go
- 4:11Speaker 5: run an errand that does not need run again, because
- 4:14Speaker 5: you have to. I find myself getting The only way
- 4:16Speaker 5: I can describe it is like it's almost like a
- 4:18Speaker 5: feeling of claustrophobia. The way people describe claustrophobia.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Noise.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yeah, where it's like you're gonna explode out of your skin. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It makes me angry, especially at a hotel when people
- 4:28Speaker 2: think the hallways are meant for socializing, yelling, lambing doors,
- 4:33Speaker 2: shut that gp hang out. Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 5: The noise you're, the noise you're your home is the
- 4:39Speaker 5: more anxious and stress you feel. So to reduce your stress,
- 4:41Speaker 5: just cut the noise out, especially turn off the television,
- 4:44Speaker 5: you know, just chill.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I love something though with the TV on, Yeah, I
- 4:48Speaker 2: can't do it, kind of like a life support machine.
- 4:50Speaker 2: The lights on. Everything, it does not matter to me.
- 4:53Speaker 6: Yeah, And like I grew up in a really big family,
- 4:55Speaker 6: so there was chaos all the time, so I find
- 4:57Speaker 6: it normal. I don't get stressed at all by a
- 4:59Speaker 6: loud house.
- 5:00Speaker 5: You come from a family of talkers, you say.
- 5:03Speaker 2: At least you're kidding.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Yeah, Like And then also the other thing they say
- 5:11Speaker 5: is about and this is not part of the fun
- 5:13Speaker 5: fact list that I have, but where they talk about
- 5:16Speaker 5: like look at somebody's space, how they live, look at
- 5:18Speaker 5: their car, look at their home, look how they keep
- 5:21Speaker 5: their professional you know space or the office or whatever,
- 5:23Speaker 5: and it says a lot about them as a person
- 5:25Speaker 5: and how organized or chilled their life is. Which okay,
- 5:34Speaker 5: So my son was getting off focus with schoolwork and
- 5:38Speaker 5: and things like that, and there was some other cast
- 5:40Speaker 5: going on, so made a big point to make sure
- 5:42Speaker 5: that he you know, let's talk about keeping your room cleans.
- 5:45Speaker 5: So how do you keep up with that? Like once
- 5:47Speaker 5: you have like a you know, let's just say a
- 5:50Speaker 5: decent load. Once you have a decent load, and that
- 5:53Speaker 5: where you're you're staying on top of it as opposed
- 5:55Speaker 5: to just letting it spiral out of control. And that
- 5:57Speaker 5: is that has like had such an impact and he's
- 5:59Speaker 5: done so much better and it has translated into other
- 6:03Speaker 5: other areas.
- 6:03Speaker 7: And something else that I didn't know you could do.
- 6:06Speaker 7: My husband runs the dishwasher every night, no matter if
- 6:09Speaker 7: it's very full or not.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you can do that.
- 6:11Speaker 7: I'm like, yeah, you make your own rules. It's your.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Fun if you need to. Why would you run like
- 6:17Speaker 2: a very empty dishwasher.
- 6:18Speaker 8: No, I love running a dishwasher, and so many people
- 6:21Speaker 8: are just anti it.
- 6:22Speaker 7: I don't get this is this is the nightly routine.
- 6:26Speaker 7: You just run the dishwasher.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:28Speaker 5: I did read something about like you're supposed to almost
- 6:32Speaker 5: every other day run the dishwasher.
- 6:36Speaker 2: It takes way less water to use the dishwater.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Favorite that's what it was tied to, Greg, Yeah, that's
- 6:42Speaker 5: exactly what it was tied to. It something it was
- 6:44Speaker 5: something involving that around that.
- 6:46Speaker 8: And my favorite thing to do is I opened the
- 6:48Speaker 8: dishwasher and the dish doesn't look totally clean.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Just run it again, dish or you get all.
- 6:58Speaker 5: This stuff off of it right before you put it
- 7:02Speaker 5: in the dishway even basically wash.
- 7:04Speaker 2: It and then put it in the dish that's done. Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Well, look if you can put it in as long
- 7:09Speaker 5: as you I think menace if you put like your
- 7:10Speaker 5: big caked on stuff directly off after dinner, if you're
- 7:14Speaker 5: done eating and then start the dishwasher.
- 7:16Speaker 2: That's one.
- 7:17Speaker 5: That's one thing. But if you're going to keep it
- 7:19Speaker 5: in there for a day or two before you run it,
- 7:21Speaker 5: rints it off.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I refuse to believe that the dishwasher can do
- 7:23Speaker 2: all that.
- 7:24Speaker 8: But if you run it for like the third time,
- 7:26Speaker 8: it's good.
- 7:32Speaker 2: All right, Welcome back everybody.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Hey, al right, so we'll get to the birthdays and
- 7:37Speaker 5: the borner birthday here in a second. Remember Menace was
- 7:40Speaker 5: talking about getting earplugs for going to concerts and stuff,
- 7:44Speaker 5: and any wanted to know that was like smart or
- 7:46Speaker 5: just like being old yest all right, yeah, yeah, it's
- 7:54Speaker 5: kind of a mixed reaction on that one.
- 7:55Speaker 2: So anyway, Uh, somebody sent us this.
- 7:58Speaker 5: They said, first of all, I think it makes you old,
- 8:00Speaker 5: but Menas is kind of old at this point, as
- 8:03Speaker 5: are all of you. True, And then they send a
- 8:06Speaker 5: link to this thing that they saw and I guess
- 8:08Speaker 5: it was like one of those like mega survey things.
- 8:11Speaker 5: So what's an opinion that instantly says you're over thirty,
- 8:15Speaker 5: which Menace is certainly over thirty, Menace is over forty.
- 8:19Speaker 2: We're all, you know, we're all getting older.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Now, of course, so maybe maybe these things are all
- 8:23Speaker 5: true to us, and yeah, and and and we'll see
- 8:27Speaker 5: so serious purchases.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And I believe this one.
- 8:31Speaker 5: I am definitely in the Yes, I do agree with
- 8:33Speaker 5: that serious purchases must be made on a laptop, not
- 8:37Speaker 5: on your phone.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Serious purchase, serious purchases all.
- 8:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm trying to I think Menace is going to disagree.
- 8:44Speaker 7: But I think if it's really serious, you can't do
- 8:46Speaker 7: it on your phone.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Yeah, like if you're buying something big. I'm trying to
- 8:51Speaker 5: think making a big purchase, something big that I bought
- 8:54Speaker 5: on a phone. Yeah, Like I won't. I won't even
- 8:57Speaker 5: I won't even book airline tickets, oh the like using
- 9:01Speaker 5: my phone. I gotta be on my laptop. Laptop, and
- 9:04Speaker 5: I think mostly but the reason is because it's easier.
- 9:06Speaker 5: It is easier, yeah, trying to get to the different
- 9:10Speaker 5: windows and some of the things aren't necessarily ideal for
- 9:14Speaker 5: mobile application.
- 9:16Speaker 7: It just feels more official.
- 9:18Speaker 2: It kind of does. Yeah, I don't. I don't know.
- 9:21Speaker 2: It's not that I don't trust the phone.
- 9:22Speaker 5: I just find it's easier, it's faster, and so any
- 9:25Speaker 5: kind of like big purchase, I will use a laptop
- 9:28Speaker 5: instead of the phone.
- 9:29Speaker 8: I don't disagree with you one hundred percent, but I
- 9:32Speaker 8: believe that I might have purchased a car on the phone.
- 9:36Speaker 2: A car, Yes, And when I think a serious purchase,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I think of in person. Yeah, it's a serious like
- 9:43Speaker 2: a car.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Yeah, it's definitely coming with his checkbook.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Yeah, obviously like Amazon type of stuff. Yes, but any
- 9:51Speaker 5: kind of like all right, having no weekend plans is
- 9:54Speaker 5: my favorite weekend plan.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Agree erection? Yeah, I mean, you guys are appreciate that
- 9:59Speaker 2: for a day.
- 10:01Speaker 5: What's an opinion that instantly says you're over thirty? Okay,
- 10:04Speaker 5: good one? How about this one? E bikes are out
- 10:07Speaker 5: of control in a menace to society.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I disagree. I agree. I'm not jealous of them.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I agree.
- 10:15Speaker 6: I saw somebody driving by on a site or going
- 10:18Speaker 6: by on a sidewalk in one of those, and I'm thinking, like,
- 10:20Speaker 6: there's kids around, you're going so fast, And that was
- 10:23Speaker 6: an old thought.
- 10:25Speaker 8: I mean, kids on bikes without e bikes with the
- 10:28Speaker 8: giant wheels, they're the ones that are out of control.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Uh.
- 10:32Speaker 5: There's this one guy on I want to say it's Instagram,
- 10:35Speaker 5: and he posts these videos all the time, and it's
- 10:37Speaker 5: one of us. I watch that and I go, I
- 10:39Speaker 5: don't know how anybody believes this is a real thing.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Did you see the guy stands on the side of
- 10:43Speaker 5: the road with different random things and he throws them
- 10:46Speaker 5: at speeding cars.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Like grapes and stuff or.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Exactly random stuff, and the people aren't even going that fast,
- 10:56Speaker 5: so it's obviously stage people. I love this, you really
- 11:00Speaker 5: given it to?
- 11:01Speaker 2: People are so dumb?
- 11:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 5: So meanwhile, uh, and I brought this example up before,
- 11:09Speaker 5: like people people like will cry fake on everything, but
- 11:12Speaker 5: then they see that that's what they say, Yep, that's
- 11:15Speaker 5: legit food.
- 11:17Speaker 2: So dumb, all.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Right, depending that makes you over thirty. I want the
- 11:22Speaker 5: paper receipt instead of the emailed one.
- 11:24Speaker 7: True, No, definitely not because I'm going to lose the
- 11:27Speaker 7: paper receipt.
- 11:28Speaker 5: See I feel like I lose the emailed one because
- 11:31Speaker 5: then I can't find me what were we talking about
- 11:32Speaker 5: the other day.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It's like you go to look for.
- 11:33Speaker 5: An email that you know is in there, Oh we
- 11:35Speaker 5: care a reason, Like you type in the search and
- 11:37Speaker 5: it won't show up.
- 11:38Speaker 8: Yeah, every word, I'm mobile, Like it never works on mobile.
- 11:43Speaker 8: When you have all the keywords, the subject line, everything,
- 11:46Speaker 8: it will pop up every single email except for the
- 11:48Speaker 8: one that you're looking for.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, why ridiculous.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I'm kind of in the camp of I want no
- 11:53Speaker 2: receipt anymore. I'm not going to return this definitely.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Like for credit for credit purchases, most of the time,
- 12:01Speaker 5: I'm not getting the receipt.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah, need it?
- 12:03Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's gonna be right there on the credit candstage.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Although what if it what if they keyed in the
- 12:07Speaker 5: wrong amount?
- 12:08Speaker 2: Greg? Oh, that's right, some kind of.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Discrepancy a nightmares. What's an opinion that instantly says you're
- 12:14Speaker 5: over thirty? But you can hit us up on the
- 12:15Speaker 5: text if you agree or disagree with any of these
- 12:17Speaker 5: two two nine eight seven. Speaking of physical copies, I
- 12:22Speaker 5: want to own a physical copy of the media that
- 12:25Speaker 5: I like.
- 12:26Speaker 2: I don't, I don't care. I've almost evolved from that.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I don't really care anymore. Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Here's the Here's the argument that I do agree with
- 12:35Speaker 5: is that let's say you have a song that you
- 12:37Speaker 5: purchased or the movie that you purchased on like an
- 12:41Speaker 5: iTunes not itune, whatever, your Apple yeah whatever, uh, and
- 12:45Speaker 5: then all of a sudden they've lost the distribution right set.
- 12:48Speaker 2: All of a sudden it's gone you've bought it. You've
- 12:50Speaker 2: bought it, but you no longer have access to it.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Whereas before when you would buy the DVD, the Blu
- 12:55Speaker 5: ray whatever, like you owned the physical copy and you
- 12:58Speaker 5: still had it.
- 12:59Speaker 7: Yeah, but can can you imagine like in this day
- 13:01Speaker 7: and age, being like check out my CD tower.
- 13:04Speaker 8: Yeah, but there's so many different ways to get the
- 13:06Speaker 8: song that you want that I honestly, I have eight
- 13:10Speaker 8: songs that are actually downloaded on my phone.
- 13:13Speaker 2: That eight Yeah, Oh, I would have thought eight thousand.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I've got it. I've got a ton well because
- 13:19Speaker 5: I subscribe to all the you know, Apple.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Music and all these different things.
- 13:24Speaker 5: And then when eight songs because I'm on I'm on
- 13:26Speaker 5: plane so much that like I don't always have access
- 13:28Speaker 5: to you know, fast yeah, fast enough, so I'll uh,
- 13:32Speaker 5: anything that's in the playlist is downloaded to my phone.
- 13:35Speaker 7: I've got zero I have, Yeah, I think I don't
- 13:38Speaker 7: think I have.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Any Yeah none, Yeah, that way I have.
- 13:40Speaker 5: I'm saying that way, I have access to it even
- 13:42Speaker 5: when I don't have an Internet connection. All right, Uh,
- 13:45Speaker 5: here you go, Greg, Yes, agree or disagree. Dinner parties
- 13:49Speaker 5: that begin at seven pm are kind of late.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Oh no, I you know, in my head, seven pm
- 13:55Speaker 2: for dinner is the ultimate time. It's fancy enough, it's
- 13:59Speaker 2: late in, it's early enough, it's the perfect time. If
- 14:02Speaker 2: I'm making a reservation seven, if I'm having people over seven,
- 14:06Speaker 2: that's the magic breg on that one.
- 14:09Speaker 5: The only the only caveat to that is during the week,
- 14:12Speaker 5: like when we have our weekday schedule.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Oh, seven o'clock's kind of late. That's way too late.
- 14:17Speaker 5: That's just based on our goofy as schedule. I think
- 14:19Speaker 5: for the average of a nine to five type of
- 14:21Speaker 5: schedule person, that'd be totally fun.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 14:23Speaker 8: I love events that start early, Like you know, Morgan
- 14:26Speaker 8: and I we go to those power slab events all
- 14:28Speaker 8: the time, and they start at seven and they end
- 14:31Speaker 8: at nine.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Oh wow, this is awesome. You had a sensible night out.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, exactly rules and you're one more. Uh,
- 14:42Speaker 5: this is an opinion that instantly says you're over thirty.
- 14:45Speaker 5: Punctuation is good. Actually, how about yet punctuation and like
- 14:51Speaker 5: appropriately capitalizing letters that should be capitalized in a sentence,
- 14:55Speaker 5: not writing an entire sentence with no punctuation and no
- 14:57Speaker 5: capital letters.
- 14:59Speaker 7: Not only do I, but I will go back through
- 15:01Speaker 7: a text and edit it just so.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's some period. I know, I don't look like a psycho. Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 2: and if you end a text with a period, that
- 15:10Speaker 2: means you're a dark I don't care like I'm ending
- 15:13Speaker 2: it properly. Oh, you're such a boomer, you're like periods
- 15:18Speaker 2: and exclamation points. Loser a wether guy.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Yeah, if you agree or disagree with any of those things,
- 15:22Speaker 5: you can hit us up on the text over to
- 15:24Speaker 5: two two nine eight seven. And he's time for your
- 15:27Speaker 5: birthdays and your Porner birthday show.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Its shimn bet and you know we don't do.
- 15:40Speaker 5: And we'll start with the celebrities. Have a birthday to
- 15:42Speaker 5: Jack Nicholson. Oh wow, I see him anywhere.
- 15:46Speaker 2: In public at all. He's not going to lagers games. Yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 2: and that's a that's a guy who's been old my
- 15:53Speaker 2: entire life. Yeah. I'm fifty this year. He's been old
- 15:58Speaker 2: my entire life.
- 15:58Speaker 7: Big widow's peak.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Yeah, how old do you think Jack Nicholson is eighty four?
- 16:04Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 16:05Speaker 2: I would have put him in his nineties. He's eighty
- 16:06Speaker 2: nine today. Oh my god. Yeah, I would have put

- 16:48Speaker 5: Was like seventeen when that big song there's their biggest
- 16:50Speaker 5: song tomorrow I was a hit. Yeah, he was like

- 18:23Speaker 5: It is the Woody Show, Woody Greg, we got Menace
- 18:27Speaker 5: Hi is here.
- 18:29Speaker 2: We got Sea Banks, we got Sammy Morgan is here.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Phones are open eight seven seven forty four Woodie text
- 18:35Speaker 5: us two two nine eight seven. People were hitting us
- 18:39Speaker 5: up about the if you're over thirty, you probably agree
- 18:42Speaker 5: with these opinions kind of thing. What's your over thirty opinion?
- 18:47Speaker 5: Now here's a little follow up to that. What was
- 18:49Speaker 5: cool if you were twenty? But weird if you're thirty.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Oh like that just just just a quick follow up
- 18:54Speaker 5: before we move on to other things. I don't have
- 18:56Speaker 5: a lot of time right now, but we'll get to
- 18:58Speaker 5: these real quick. So people are, that's this question. What's
- 19:01Speaker 5: cool if you're twenty but weird if you're thirty hanging
- 19:03Speaker 5: out of college parties.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure you're more than twenty four.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Iude, I see people, and I just saw one of
- 19:13Speaker 5: these guys, the youth fighters.
- 19:15Speaker 2: We talk about these guys. Yeah, once in a while,
- 19:18Speaker 2: women are.
- 19:18Speaker 5: It's really odd to me when you see a dude
- 19:21Speaker 5: who is such a hardcore age fighter, meaning like this
- 19:25Speaker 5: guy he looks exactly the same, but tries to look
- 19:29Speaker 5: everything hair down to what kind of shoes he's wearing,
- 19:34Speaker 5: like skater his skater shorts, like tall socks. Students and
- 19:40Speaker 5: the guys no, because you still look. I'm talking about
- 19:43Speaker 5: a guy who's clearly pushing like almost seventy okay, yeah, yeah,
- 19:48Speaker 5: Like the hair, the hair is so thin and it's
- 19:52Speaker 5: barely there, you know what I mean.
- 19:54Speaker 2: But he's he's he's.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Trying really hard to face his mega wrinkle, but everything
- 19:58Speaker 5: else looks well.
- 19:59Speaker 2: The most guilty of that is rock stars. Oh it's
- 20:02Speaker 2: almost depressing. It looked like old ladies, like an old man.
- 20:06Speaker 2: He has a really long hair, and therefore he's cool.
- 20:08Speaker 8: What he don't we know somebody whose kid was I
- 20:10Speaker 8: got a college party and the Golden Bachelor was there.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you know you know who's a good example
- 20:16Speaker 5: of this in a more fabulous way. What was What
- 20:19Speaker 5: was the name of the guy? We we had a
- 20:21Speaker 5: nickname for him outside of Joe Cool, Christal, Lloyd Crystal.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we called it this guy. Yeah.
- 20:28Speaker 5: I'm hoping everybody else understands already the kind of person
- 20:31Speaker 5: I'm talking about, because I just solidified it for Greg
- 20:33Speaker 5: and Gina.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Lloyd, Christal, Sammy who was
- 20:36Speaker 2: standing there? Yeah, fake hair, tons of makeup. Y Sorry,
- 20:45Speaker 2: Los Angeles.
- 20:49Speaker 7: This is all ninety eight seven.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Las Alternatives Rock.
- 20:57Speaker 5: And we are into another new hour insensitivity training for
- 21:01Speaker 5: a politically correct world. Woody Gregynas, what is up for Gagrad?
- 21:06Speaker 5: We got Sea Bass. Sammy's here phones open eight seven
- 21:09Speaker 5: seven forty four, Woody send us a text check in
- 21:13Speaker 5: over to two two nine eight seven and we'll start
- 21:17Speaker 5: by going to Ginagrad with the trending news headlines.
- 21:20Speaker 7: Well, cops say the guy who started shooting at that
- 21:22Speaker 7: tourist site in Mexico late Monday morning may have been
- 21:24Speaker 7: influenced by other violent attacks. It happened at the pyramids
- 21:28Speaker 7: not far from Mexico City, left one person dead seven
- 21:31Speaker 7: others injured, and officials say this a hole was at
- 21:34Speaker 7: the top of the pyramid when he started shooting. He
- 21:36Speaker 7: managed to reload twice before eventually shooting himself as cops
- 21:40Speaker 7: tried to get him.
- 21:41Speaker 5: Yeah, that's pretty great. Is that We've been so busy
- 21:43Speaker 5: for the last couple of days. I have been completely
- 21:45Speaker 5: out of the news loop, and I had I had
- 21:48Speaker 5: not heard about this until we walked in today.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah, Oh wow, I saw a lot of it. Video. Yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 2: they have a lot of video the guy shooting.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I've not been on any of the platforms. I have not,
- 21:59Speaker 5: of course, not been watching any news.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It's been too busy.
- 22:02Speaker 5: It's been kind of nice. Yeah, yeah, truly bliss it is,
- 22:06Speaker 5: that's right. But yeah, there are people basically trying to
- 22:08Speaker 5: not only go down the stairs, but jump down levels
- 22:11Speaker 5: of this pyramid just to save themselves.
- 22:13Speaker 7: Well, they also found he had fifty two rounds of ammunition,
- 22:16Speaker 7: some kind of knife, and handwritten notes linked to the
- 22:19Speaker 7: Columbine High School shooting. So Mexico is increasing security at
- 22:23Speaker 7: all the tourist spots and they're investigating. And the war
- 22:27Speaker 7: with Iran is still going on, but now there's a
- 22:29Speaker 7: little bit of hope for a new peace deal thanks
- 22:31Speaker 7: to a ceasefire with a Ran being extended indefinitely while
- 22:35Speaker 7: they try to come up with this peace deal. At
- 22:37Speaker 7: the same time, the US military is still keeping up
- 22:40Speaker 7: the blockade in the Strait of Horror Moves. But it's
- 22:43Speaker 7: not just gas prices that are affected by this war.
- 22:46Speaker 7: It's now condom prices that are going on.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Oh damn it, why is that.
- 22:50Speaker 7: Well, here's the deal. Some materials used in making condoms
- 22:56Speaker 7: are stuck overseas since they can't get through the Strait
- 22:59Speaker 7: of Horror Moves, and because of the very fragile situation,
- 23:02Speaker 7: prices are more expensive and those costs are being passed
- 23:05Speaker 7: on to customers. So on top of that, the wars
- 23:07Speaker 7: causing a big delay in shipping. One manufacturer says that
- 23:11Speaker 7: they have to pay they have enough supply for a
- 23:14Speaker 7: few months, but when that runs out, these condom prices
- 23:16Speaker 7: they are going high So this is.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Just the excuse that companies are using because wherever something
- 23:22Speaker 5: is happening, like this particular case Iran. Right, Okay, so
- 23:25Speaker 5: there's that. But let's say something was happening in the southeast.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Right, mayonnaise prices all of a.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Sudden, everything that we use would have been somehow manufactured
- 23:35Speaker 5: or tied into that region. They just use whatever it
- 23:39Speaker 5: is to to use as an excuse.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And don't we have rubber, it's latex?
- 23:47Speaker 5: Does the world's latex come from Iran or the Middle East?
- 23:51Speaker 7: First time?
- 23:51Speaker 8: Hearing con since they spin a wheel and they go, okay,
- 23:55Speaker 8: which company is going to get a benefit this month?
- 23:57Speaker 8: And they're like, okay, it lands on eggs.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Prices are right, But I'd say, like, right, oil, Fine,
- 24:04Speaker 5: that's a big oil producing region, but it's not the
- 24:06Speaker 5: only place on Earth, right, There's a lot of other
- 24:10Speaker 5: places on the globe that could maybe step up their
- 24:13Speaker 5: oil production to make up for like if if everybody
- 24:15Speaker 5: is in such dire straits because this one area is compromised,
- 24:22Speaker 5: couldn't everybody else? Couldn't all the other oil producing areas
- 24:25Speaker 5: step up?
- 24:25Speaker 11: No?
- 24:26Speaker 2: No, they don't because they can use that.
- 24:29Speaker 5: As you know, because they're going to jack up a price,
- 24:31Speaker 5: but we're going to leave the production exactly the same.
- 24:33Speaker 7: Yeah. I do have a theory now that you were
- 24:35Speaker 7: talking about this is this backed by Big baby. So
- 24:40Speaker 7: they're going to hold back condoms so everybody has more kids.
- 24:43Speaker 7: I don't know, is it?
- 24:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't think anybody really or amore
- 24:49Speaker 2: or if there's fewer condom sales than the iod industry,
- 24:51Speaker 2: they're going to jack their prices.
- 24:53Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 5: Yeah, there are people using you think for the avoiding pregnancy.
- 24:58Speaker 5: People use more more like the birth control pill, like
- 25:02Speaker 5: condoms seem to be for avoiding sexually transmitted disease more so. No,
- 25:07Speaker 5: it's both, It is both. But I'm saying if you're
- 25:09Speaker 5: only really concerned about pregnancy, right, I think people kind
- 25:12Speaker 5: of lean more on the birth control pill than they
- 25:15Speaker 5: do rubbers well because.
- 25:17Speaker 7: The person getting pregnant can control that, in correct, So
- 25:21Speaker 7: I'm agreeing with you.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I got to figure that out.
- 25:24Speaker 2: You're right, Monogamous couples aren't just using contents, right, Yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 2: I don't think to prevent pregnancy, correct, I agree with that. Yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 2: Now do you snort your plan B or do you
- 25:33Speaker 2: just take it?
- 25:35Speaker 7: I mainline it right into the vein.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Okay, this one time I was house sitting, I was
- 25:38Speaker 2: I don't know, twenty years old, and the people had
- 25:41Speaker 2: non lubricated condoms in the bathroom. I'm like, who why that, bro?
- 25:45Speaker 5: I told you, well not gay dudes, who like, let's
- 25:50Speaker 5: just say you're simple. And it's like just really turned
- 25:53Speaker 5: on by you, you know what I mean. So her
- 25:55Speaker 5: basement's flooded, Yeah, maybe it.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Doesn't even matter.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Help, Yeah, she's got just a bunch of natural lubricating.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Well.
- 26:03Speaker 7: With the NFL Draft going down, finally they're hoping to
- 26:06Speaker 7: clamp down on some of these prank calls, remember, like
- 26:09Speaker 7: the ones in the past, and put a damper on
- 26:10Speaker 7: the whole thing. That's right, yea. So now the NFL
- 26:14Speaker 7: is being more careful, saying that only one person from
- 26:17Speaker 7: each team is allowed to have access to the player's
- 26:20Speaker 7: phone numbers, and hopefully that will reduce the chances of
- 26:22Speaker 7: those prank calls. So yeah, let's let's remind ourselves about
- 26:25Speaker 7: what happened to Poorsia Door Sanders. I don't think you.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Think he's pretty fortunate.
- 26:29Speaker 7: Yeah, right, he got a fake call from someone pretending
- 26:31Speaker 7: to be Mickey Loomis from the New Orleans Saints. He
- 26:34Speaker 7: was eventually picked up by the Cleveland Browns and the
- 26:36Speaker 7: prank ended up leading to fines against someone connected to
- 26:39Speaker 7: the Atlanta Falcons. Is a whole thing and other players
- 26:42Speaker 7: got prank too, And while the NFL hopes the new
- 26:45Speaker 7: rule will help, I mean, who's going to stop pranking?
- 26:47Speaker 7: There's always a way.
- 26:49Speaker 8: I'm surprised that, you know, they love selling every single
- 26:52Speaker 8: piece of the NFL that they haven't even just got
- 26:55Speaker 8: a phone sponsor, yes, and like, okay, we're mailing everybody
- 26:58Speaker 8: phone yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 7: Well, speaking of football, Mike Rabel, you know Mike Rabel,
- 27:04Speaker 7: the head coach of the New England Patriots. We all
- 27:07Speaker 7: know him now. He says he's had some tough but
- 27:10Speaker 7: productive conversations with his family, his team, and staff after
- 27:13Speaker 7: those photos service of him holding hands with reporter Diana Rossini.
- 27:17Speaker 7: He actually did a press conference about it. He didn't
- 27:19Speaker 7: go to any details, but he said he wanted to
- 27:21Speaker 7: address it after first talking with the players. He said
- 27:25Speaker 7: that everyone in the organization, including himself, needs to make
- 27:28Speaker 7: good decisions and avoid being a distraction. And also it
- 27:31Speaker 7: should be noted that Rabel didn't directly respond to the rumors,
- 27:35Speaker 7: but he did say he does want to keep things
- 27:37Speaker 7: focused on the NFL Draft and added that he's committed
- 27:40Speaker 7: to moving forward and giving his best.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Man.
- 27:42Speaker 5: I would have loved to have been a fly on
- 27:43Speaker 5: the wall for that conversation with his wife. Yeah, totally,
- 27:46Speaker 5: just say like, what did you say, dude? You know, like,
- 27:48Speaker 5: how do you explain holding hands and all that stuff? Yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 5: it's on It's caught on Vidie, like, like, what possible explanation?
- 27:56Speaker 2: What say you, Mike?
- 27:57Speaker 5: Yeah, could you have?
- 27:58Speaker 7: Is she moving out?
- 28:00Speaker 5: I don't think so. They'll work it out.
- 28:02Speaker 7: Yeah, somehow magically.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah. I would put moving forward on the same list
- 28:07Speaker 2: as it is what it is to nothing.
- 28:10Speaker 5: We're always moving forward as opposed to what That's a
- 28:13Speaker 5: generic way of saying, Okay, I'm done talking about it,
- 28:15Speaker 5: We're going to move forward.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Moving forward exact, everything is moving forward.
- 28:20Speaker 7: Well, finally, this is the news that what he has
- 28:23Speaker 7: been waiting for. So listen up. Red Lobster's infamous endless
- 28:27Speaker 7: shrimp promotion. It's back based.
- 28:30Speaker 2: It almost killed the company, that's right. There was a
- 28:33Speaker 2: disaster for them coming back.
- 28:35Speaker 7: Yeah, they ended up read I did the promo. Oh, dude,
- 28:40Speaker 7: give it time.
- 28:41Speaker 2: This is an event.
- 28:42Speaker 5: The only time I would ever go to Red the
- 28:44Speaker 5: Lobster is during Endless Shrimp.
- 28:46Speaker 7: And there's one near us.
- 28:47Speaker 2: There is there is Wow, that's great.
- 28:50Speaker 5: I thought it was man. I thought that was dead.
- 28:53Speaker 7: It almost killed them. Yeah, they h in twenty twenty four.
- 28:57Speaker 7: They've clawed their way back since. So it has a
- 29:00Speaker 7: little twist now a couple of updates. Instead of being
- 29:03Speaker 7: twenty bucks, it's gonna be twenty nine to ninety nine, okay,
- 29:06Speaker 7: and it will include five different types of shrimp. Customers
- 29:10Speaker 7: can go and do select Red Lobster locations and order
- 29:13Speaker 7: unlimited coconut shrimp, garlic shrimp, Walt's favorite, which is fried
- 29:17Speaker 7: with cocktail sauce, Marry Me shrimp, which is creamy tomato
- 29:20Speaker 7: sauce with garlic and herb, and shrimp linguini alfredou.
- 29:24Speaker 5: See what they did is they screwed up because they
- 29:26Speaker 5: made it an all the time thing, right, Yeah, they tried.
- 29:29Speaker 7: To have a week year is now limited.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Where are they getting the shrimp from?
- 29:33Speaker 5: Well that was Greg's bigson's kind right, We're gonna run out.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Greg was very concerned. At one point. He worries about
- 29:38Speaker 5: random things. We're going to run out of shrimp. He
- 29:41Speaker 5: had another He was telling us he had another really
- 29:43Speaker 5: weird you know about of this staying at a hotel
- 29:48Speaker 5: because in the hotel all of the rooms have like
- 29:53Speaker 5: currag machines.
- 29:54Speaker 2: The machine these were what I assume were the new
- 29:56Speaker 2: versions of the curerag like better. They worked pretty well.
- 30:00Speaker 2: M and I thought, oh my god, Okay, we're in
- 30:02Speaker 2: a huge hotel, tons of rooms, thousands of rooms. That
- 30:06Speaker 2: means thousands of cure eggs. How many hotels are there
- 30:09Speaker 2: in the world, hundreds of thousands, if not millions. How
- 30:13Speaker 2: are we going to have enough cure eg? How are
- 30:15Speaker 2: you not smoking weed on a daily basis? Because that
- 30:17Speaker 2: is such a high thought. I know, I'm a stoner
- 30:20Speaker 2: who doesn't smoke pot.
- 30:22Speaker 7: Yeah, people want their coffee, will supply, they will, but what.
- 30:26Speaker 2: If how is it sustainable?
- 30:27Speaker 8: Much like the shrimp, Well, dude, well, I have a
- 30:31Speaker 8: shrimp story that kind of goes with this. It's it
- 30:34Speaker 8: was so weird, so spicy nacho. My wife, she's at
- 30:37Speaker 8: Costco and one of the Costco workers comes up to
- 30:40Speaker 8: her because she had a bag of like frozen shrimp,
- 30:42Speaker 8: and she goes, oh, do you like shrimp from India?
- 30:46Speaker 2: She goes.
- 30:46Speaker 8: What He's like, do you like shrimp from India? She's like,
- 30:49Speaker 8: he goes, that's from India and she looks at the
- 30:53Speaker 8: bag and it's from a shrimp farm.
- 30:55Speaker 2: So yeah, I would a shrimp farm. Yeah, I started.
- 30:59Speaker 8: So I started talking about this, of course with Tyler,
- 31:02Speaker 8: and Tyler says, oh, yeah, there's there's a shrimp farm
- 31:05Speaker 8: like right by the radio station. So apparently, well the
- 31:08Speaker 8: salmon farms, yeah, apparently shrimp farms are like all over
- 31:12Speaker 8: the place.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Who knew?
- 31:14Speaker 7: So who isn't high? Right now?
- 31:17Speaker 2: We have a cregg farm though, that's the question.
- 31:20Speaker 8: I'm just saying, because you're saying that we're your gadgets.
- 31:24Speaker 8: Going to Gregg's argument, he was always worried that we
- 31:26Speaker 8: were over shrimping. That we have these farms, they're just
- 31:30Speaker 8: like making him like crazy.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Right, you make more? But I still worry about like
- 31:34Speaker 2: in the wild, are we know for shrimping as well?
- 31:36Speaker 2: Because you can farm and you got the out in the.
- 31:38Speaker 7: Wild, Yeah, you know we're going to have like, uh,
- 31:42Speaker 7: what's frank and shrimp?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yes, as are still good? Who cares? You just dip
- 31:47Speaker 2: them in the butter well.
- 31:48Speaker 7: All these are going to come with a side order.
- 31:50Speaker 7: But this is the important thing, like what he said,
- 31:52Speaker 7: to avoid bankruptcy. Again, the promotion is only for a
- 31:55Speaker 7: limited time. On the limited.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Occasions, we were always fine with that.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Yeah, it's like the nig rib.
- 31:59Speaker 2: It doesn't Yeah, it was an event.
- 32:02Speaker 5: I would see the thing, the banner they would hang
- 32:04Speaker 5: on the side of the Red Lobster Endless Shrimp time
- 32:07Speaker 5: and I would tell I would tell Jen it's time
- 32:10Speaker 5: to go back to Red Lobster Endless Shrimps back.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Babe, let's go make our money back. Yeah, try to
- 32:17Speaker 2: beat the house.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Exactly. Well, that's what's going on with all right.
- 32:21Speaker 5: We got a quick break and then we'll come back
- 32:23Speaker 5: more what he showed.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Next show and a little follow up.
- 32:36Speaker 5: We were talking about like Rabel and finally came out
- 32:40Speaker 5: and you know, addressed let's move forward conversations. But again,
- 32:49Speaker 5: I feel bad for his wife. And that's how you
- 32:52Speaker 5: find out, you know, because there's pictures online. There's your husband, Chip,
- 32:59Speaker 5: but he not allowed to dance with somebody. Yeah, but
- 33:04Speaker 5: I mean she she's the one decided, for whatever reason,
- 33:06Speaker 5: her prerogative to just stick it out.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I wouldn't stick it out.
- 33:10Speaker 5: I can't imagine a situation where I would stick it out.
- 33:13Speaker 7: Okay, here's a question. Is it because of the betrayal
- 33:15Speaker 7: or just the public humiliation?
- 33:17Speaker 2: They know about it?
- 33:19Speaker 7: Like, now that's the thing.
- 33:20Speaker 2: What if nobody knew about it, that's my question.
- 33:23Speaker 5: Yeah, if nobody knew about it, I would still not
- 33:25Speaker 5: want to be with that person. I don't care about
- 33:27Speaker 5: anybody changes anybody else's view or opinion of whatever. That
- 33:32Speaker 5: she cheated on me. Yeah, right, Like, so that's between
- 33:35Speaker 5: her and I and that's I don't think. I don't
- 33:37Speaker 5: think that's fixable.
- 33:38Speaker 7: Yeah, because you.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Never forget it. You would always think about it. Yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 2: and could you ever trust them? No? Probably who wants
- 33:45Speaker 2: to live like that? Right?
- 33:46Speaker 5: I've never understood the people who we're going to make
- 33:48Speaker 5: this work, Maybe because they've cheated, Maybe because they've done something,
- 33:54Speaker 5: they got some dirty little secret, they know that they
- 33:56Speaker 5: have wronged them and the other person just doesn't know
- 33:58Speaker 5: about it yet. So yeah, they just said something to me.
- 34:00Speaker 12: But the.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Scheme of things, we're gonna just call this even maybe
- 34:05Speaker 2: it's like almost like you view it as this is
- 34:09Speaker 2: my chance to do it to them, So I'll keep
- 34:11Speaker 2: in my yeah, and I won't feel guilty about it.
- 34:14Speaker 7: Or this is kind of hot, you know, like that
- 34:17Speaker 7: like Nikki Glazer and she likes h you got an
- 34:22Speaker 7: open relationship and that's just how it works.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Then it's not cheating. But we're talking about cheating.
- 34:27Speaker 7: And I never understood, Well, we're going to go to
- 34:29Speaker 7: therapy together. I'm like, why do I have to go?
- 34:30Speaker 7: I didn't do anything.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Right into this?
- 34:33Speaker 5: Yeah exactly, you go, yeah exactly.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:37Speaker 5: She's maybe sticking it out because she likes the lifestyle.
- 34:39Speaker 5: That's yeah, she's houring herself out.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Now you don't think you could do better?
- 34:43Speaker 5: Maybe for the lifestyle, Like all right, well, I mean
- 34:46Speaker 5: talk about having no respect for yourself because if.
- 34:51Speaker 7: You're people do stay with cheaters.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Because if you're doing it simply because of the lifestyle.
- 34:57Speaker 7: Yeah, but I'm saying in general, like poor cheating, like
- 35:01Speaker 7: people don't do it, and like if you have.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Kids and stuff and your whole life is wrapped up
- 35:04Speaker 6: in it, I mean it's not necessarily easy to walk
- 35:07Speaker 6: away either.
- 35:08Speaker 5: No, but I just don't know how you stick around,
- 35:11Speaker 5: Like I think it's it's you know, okay, it may
- 35:12Speaker 5: take a minute to unravel everything and to figure things out,
- 35:16Speaker 5: But how can you continue to be with that person?
- 35:18Speaker 7: Think about it more personally, the love of your life,
- 35:21Speaker 7: the person that you would literally die for your dog
- 35:25Speaker 7: maybe stepped out on you.
- 35:26Speaker 5: How would you feel because well, apparently everything I have
- 35:29Speaker 5: felt that we were was it was a lot and
- 35:34Speaker 5: not real.
- 35:34Speaker 2: So all the things that I have no longer applied.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it just noll avoids that because everything
- 35:39Speaker 5: I thought this person was it is not it was.
- 35:43Speaker 2: It was just all you know, it was all nonsense. Yeah, wow,
- 35:47Speaker 2: I mean yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 8: Don't you be kind kind of jealous when your dog
- 35:51Speaker 8: is like super friendly with the person they just met.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, don't be nice to them?
- 35:59Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:00Speaker 5: I went back through some of the after hours voicemails
- 36:02Speaker 5: because I know we've had, you know, people hit us up,
- 36:04Speaker 5: you know, when they found out that they had been
- 36:06Speaker 5: cheated on. This guy called in.
- 36:09Speaker 2: And the rest of the gang.
- 36:10Speaker 13: I need some advice in this three years is cheating
- 36:14Speaker 13: on me? I found out. I've seen her phone. Shouldn't
- 36:18Speaker 13: physically do it, but very emotional stuff. She said, sorry,
- 36:23Speaker 13: but well she still wants to be friends with the dude.
- 36:25Speaker 13: But it's like Damn, bro, what do you think we
- 36:28Speaker 13: should do?
- 36:29Speaker 11: Man?
- 36:29Speaker 13: I need some advice.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Break up? Yeah, don't marry him.
- 36:32Speaker 7: That's interesting though, he said, only an emotional cheating.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's going down that road. She wants to
- 36:38Speaker 5: maintain the connection with this guy. That's going nowhere.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Good.
- 36:41Speaker 8: I mean you also have been engaged for three years, so.
- 36:44Speaker 2: That's going on. Yeah. Long engagements are also another red flag. Yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 2: this is not going the right way.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Engage Congratulations someone you guys think you're gonna get married.
- 36:59Speaker 2: We're gonna figure that out.
- 37:00Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, never you mind.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Yeah, oh no, your business not like next year. Oh
- 37:04Speaker 5: we're aiming for next year. No, it's like a yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 5: we're just going to be engaged for a while.
- 37:08Speaker 7: Well what what are we doing?
- 37:10Speaker 1: What?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:11Speaker 5: So the experts will tell you that's a mega red flag.
- 37:15Speaker 7: Really yeah, so what would an average what is the
- 37:19Speaker 7: average eighteen months?
- 37:22Speaker 5: Yeah, we just had something about that recently. I think
- 37:23Speaker 5: it was somewhere around eighteen twelve to eighteen ye.
- 37:26Speaker 6: Yeah, to get a date for the wedding and to
- 37:27Speaker 6: plan the whole wedding, that's basically how long it takes.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Yeah, Well then this guy he dodged a bullet because
- 37:33Speaker 5: they're not even married yet, right, so don't do it?
- 37:35Speaker 2: Right?
- 37:36Speaker 7: He sounds mega sad?
- 37:37Speaker 2: Sounds true?
- 37:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean you could be bummed out about it.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah, obviously. Do you just get another dog? You're good? Yeah?
- 37:44Speaker 2: What about this?
- 37:45Speaker 5: Check here?
- 37:45Speaker 4: Hi?
- 37:45Speaker 14: What do you show?
- 37:46Speaker 9: Podcast?
- 37:47Speaker 15: Listener?
- 37:47Speaker 7: Here?
- 37:48Speaker 9: You guys were talking about a man suing because his wife.
- 37:55Speaker 15: Found out he was cheating over text. Well, my boyfriend.
- 38:00Speaker 9: And butt dialed me the other day and he was
- 38:05Speaker 9: with another woman and I listened on the call for
- 38:09Speaker 9: fifteen minutes before it hung up.
- 38:11Speaker 15: He and she were talking about.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Maybe moving in together, dog.
- 38:18Speaker 15: Her neighbor, and everything like that. He listens to the show,
- 38:23Speaker 15: He listens, and hopefully he hears this. He hasn't responded
- 38:28Speaker 15: to any calls or texts that I've sent him because
- 38:34Speaker 15: he got caught because he butt dialed me with another woman.
- 38:38Speaker 6: Oh no, I'm just.
- 38:41Speaker 9: Trying now to move forward and not be with somebody
- 38:46Speaker 9: that does that to me.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:49Speaker 9: I think I'm worth it, but I guess he doesn't
- 38:53Speaker 9: think I am. I just wanted to share that story
- 38:56Speaker 9: with you guys.
- 38:57Speaker 15: Bye.
- 38:59Speaker 2: That sucks. That does suck. So if that happens to you.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Let's say, let's use Woody as the example. Again, you
- 39:05Speaker 2: find out that Jen was with another guy because she
- 39:07Speaker 2: butt diled you. She comes home from that rendezvous, do
- 39:11Speaker 2: you confront her right away or do you see? Oh yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 2: of course, how is she gonna oh yeah, yeah, she continues,
- 39:18Speaker 2: it'll be that to day.
- 39:19Speaker 5: I'm not gonna let there's not gonna be any kind
- 39:21Speaker 5: of long play to that. Like she walks in the door,
- 39:23Speaker 5: you confront her right then and there.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Hey what's going on?
- 39:25Speaker 7: You have to sit in a dark room in a
- 39:27Speaker 7: chair in the corner and then turn the lamp on
- 39:29Speaker 7: whenever Hello.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Yeah, because I'll be hinting around, you know, pretty directly.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, direct hints like waiting like.
- 39:38Speaker 7: Hey, what's up going on? Anything interesting?
- 39:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Anything new?
- 39:43Speaker 5: Drop a little tidbit from the conversation. I have done
- 39:45Speaker 5: that before, where somebody has butt dialed, i'd all sit
- 39:48Speaker 5: there and listen.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Usually it's a jumbled mess. You can't really make any.
- 39:54Speaker 5: It could be so good, Yeah, like a hello because
- 39:56Speaker 5: somebody's butted Hello, Hello, and then sorry and then I
- 40:00Speaker 5: just put Then I put the phone like I'm on mute.
- 40:03Speaker 7: Yeah that's your invitation.
- 40:04Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I actually I got a butt dial recently
- 40:06Speaker 6: from Gina that I listened to. Yeah, I listened to
- 40:10Speaker 6: you feed the entire neighborhood burgers and chicken nuggets. What
- 40:14Speaker 6: a ton of kids.
- 40:15Speaker 7: You were like, the.
- 40:16Speaker 6: Burgers are in this bag, the chicken nuggets are over here.
- 40:18Speaker 6: And I just listened until I was like, I don't
- 40:20Speaker 6: think I need to be here anymore.
- 40:21Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 40:22Speaker 7: Yeah, I know. I never said anything, but yeah, they
- 40:27Speaker 7: were hungry.
- 40:28Speaker 6: Yeah, along the lines of uh in a relationship, my
- 40:35Speaker 6: ex butt dialed me what and I got I was
- 40:38Speaker 6: sleeping because I wake up for work super early in
- 40:41Speaker 6: the morning and he was out late that night, and
- 40:44Speaker 6: I woke up for work with a butt dial voicemail
- 40:47Speaker 6: from him.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Oh no, oh no, it was right.
- 40:50Speaker 6: And it was him getting into like a cab or
- 40:55Speaker 6: an uber or something with a girl.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Is this an ex? Is this the ex husband? Or
- 40:59Speaker 5: is this just a yeah?
- 41:01Speaker 6: Yeah, we were married, and oh.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Wait, is this how you found out that he was cheating?
- 41:07Speaker 6: Uh?
- 41:08Speaker 7: Yeah, oh my god, I mean like.
- 41:10Speaker 6: This is why I'm convinced that he was confirmation right.
- 41:15Speaker 6: So he was like getting into the car or cab
- 41:19Speaker 6: or whatever with the girl. He was very drunk, and
- 41:21Speaker 6: you could hear him like he was tickling her or something,
- 41:25Speaker 6: and she was like stop stop. And then and then
- 41:32Speaker 6: I hear his friend and I know exactly who it
- 41:34Speaker 6: was talking to the driver because my ex and the
- 41:37Speaker 6: girl he was with were both both wasted, and he
- 41:40Speaker 6: was going, make sure you drop her off first. Make
- 41:42Speaker 6: sure you drop her off first. And with who who
- 41:46Speaker 6: I think the girl was, it makes sense she would
- 41:49Speaker 6: have lived a little bit past us, so it was like,
- 41:51Speaker 6: drop her off first in the back track.
- 41:54Speaker 5: So I woke up and.
- 41:55Speaker 6: I heard that, and I just went to work and
- 42:00Speaker 6: I didn't say anything. And then because we were already
- 42:04Speaker 6: in marriage counseling, so I didn't say anything.
- 42:07Speaker 7: He didn't know.
- 42:07Speaker 6: I got a voicemail. He didn't know that I called.
- 42:09Speaker 6: I know, and then uh. And we had marriage counseling
- 42:12Speaker 6: that day. And as soon as we sat down and
- 42:14Speaker 6: the therapist is like, so, how's everything, I pulled out
- 42:17Speaker 6: my phone. Sometimes you do sit on it and wait
- 42:23Speaker 6: for that is so.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Sweet, that's great, let's.
- 42:32Speaker 7: Okay.
- 42:32Speaker 6: So what I'm like, who is this? I mean, I
- 42:36Speaker 6: would say to this day, but it's not like I
- 42:38Speaker 6: talked to him, but he just I don't know, was
- 42:39Speaker 6: his answer.
- 42:40Speaker 5: And how do you fight with I.
- 42:42Speaker 6: Don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know,
- 42:45Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't know. He just only ever said.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Your phone, that is your voice exactly?
- 42:52Speaker 7: How weak is that?
- 42:54Speaker 2: And how much longer was this after the fact, like
- 42:57Speaker 2: was I still with him?
- 42:58Speaker 4: No?
- 42:58Speaker 5: No, no, Like the voicemail happened, like, say on Monday,
- 43:00Speaker 5: when was the countl thing.
- 43:02Speaker 6: The voicemail happened essentially like Thursday night. So I woke
- 43:05Speaker 6: up like Friday morning, went to work, small day, and
- 43:08Speaker 6: then Friday probably five or six o'clock is.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Oh, so was that?
- 43:11Speaker 5: Yeah, why did you bring up this voicemail from three
- 43:15Speaker 5: weeks ago?
- 43:15Speaker 2: I don't remember who that was? It was the night
- 43:18Speaker 2: yet out of here before he says, I don't know.
- 43:20Speaker 7: I don't know something about seven year old?
- 43:23Speaker 2: I know, oh it was my friend's friend.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Right.
- 43:28Speaker 6: But that's why they say to n works, because you
- 43:30Speaker 6: can't even fight with someone who's like not even giving
- 43:32Speaker 6: you an answer.
- 43:33Speaker 7: Please tell me. The therapist was like, you know, no,
- 43:36Speaker 7: come on, how.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Did you find out you were being cheated on?
- 43:39Speaker 5: If you got something good for us, you can hit
- 43:41Speaker 5: us up on the text over to two to nine
- 43:43Speaker 5: eight seven or give it a call eight seven seven
- 43:45Speaker 5: forty four Wooding bottom.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Line, I'd rather know. Yeah, of course.
- 43:50Speaker 5: There are people that talk about like, oh, I lost
- 43:53Speaker 5: a friend because I knew that my friend's husband was
- 43:56Speaker 5: cheating or my friend's wife was cheating, and I told
- 43:59Speaker 5: them and then they dropped the friend. That's weak, Like,
- 44:03Speaker 5: that's not that's not your business. Yes, that's what I've
- 44:08Speaker 5: never understood their situation to be the person.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Should I say.
- 44:12Speaker 5: Something because I know that you know this person who
- 44:14Speaker 5: I'm like, if I knew that Mario was cheating on Greg,
- 44:16Speaker 5: I would hope you told me. I would tell you
- 44:18Speaker 5: whether I thought you would want and if it cost
- 44:20Speaker 5: the friendship between you and I, I guess, so be it.
- 44:22Speaker 2: But I couldn't.
- 44:23Speaker 5: I couldn't in good conscience know that was going on,
- 44:26Speaker 5: figuring that maybe you didn't know about it, right, and
- 44:29Speaker 5: then not say something.
- 44:31Speaker 2: How could somebody in good conscience drop the friend who
- 44:33Speaker 2: told them?
- 44:34Speaker 7: Don't deny all that.
- 44:36Speaker 6: What if Greg was cheating on Mario? Are you calling
- 44:39Speaker 6: Mario to let him know?
- 44:40Speaker 5: Because Greg is boy? Greg is my friend first, like
- 44:44Speaker 5: Mario is a friend, but he's a friend because of
- 44:47Speaker 5: my relationship or my friendship with Greg, so you would
- 44:50Speaker 5: not tell him. Like, so Greg's the primary and then
- 44:53Speaker 5: the secondary. So that's the way it works, right, Yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 2: It is.
- 44:56Speaker 6: So it's still uncomfortable though, to know that, like Greg's
- 44:59Speaker 6: cheating on Mario, Like you just can't say anything, and
- 45:01Speaker 6: then like you go hang out.
- 45:02Speaker 2: With them, don't tell me about it.
- 45:03Speaker 6: Yeah exactly, leave it out.
- 45:05Speaker 7: Yeah exactly, Greg, if you told me, I would probably
- 45:08Speaker 7: wouldn't say anything, but I'd be pissed that you put
- 45:09Speaker 7: me in that position. Now I gotta at oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 8: Going back to what he said, and I know what,
- 45:15Speaker 8: this is not your world, but there's a lot of
- 45:17Speaker 8: drama in the you know, uh reality space with the
- 45:20Speaker 8: thing that the Summerhouse thing. But no, I'm just gonna
- 45:24Speaker 8: align to what you're saying. There's like a drama with
- 45:26Speaker 8: the Summerhouse because like these two, uh, this girl was
- 45:29Speaker 8: dating this guy and then her friend starts dating this guy,
- 45:33Speaker 8: and uh, they all like broke up and there's a
- 45:36Speaker 8: lot of drama and then like this other girl named
- 45:38Speaker 8: Breeze involved. But the Breed Chick says, actually this is
- 45:41Speaker 8: a good thing because now you know like, oh, this
- 45:44Speaker 8: person is not my friend, and oh and I don't
- 45:48Speaker 8: want to be with this guy.
- 45:49Speaker 2: You know.
- 45:49Speaker 8: So if you have that outlook on it, you get
- 45:52Speaker 8: a quick answer on you dodge two bullets.
- 45:54Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, so yeah, I want to know. Yeah, and
- 45:58Speaker 5: I'm not gonna just so I will tell you. I mean,
- 46:02Speaker 5: not forgiving, but I'm not gonna stick around.
- 46:05Speaker 7: Will you? Would you give would you give Mario a
- 46:09Speaker 7: chance to tell Greg himself or would you just come
- 46:12Speaker 7: out with it? Because that happened to me in college
- 46:14Speaker 7: when my boyfriend was cheating on me. My friend pulled
- 46:17Speaker 7: him aside and said, look, you tell her tonight or
- 46:21Speaker 7: I'm telling her tomorrow. That's I mean, so he told me,
- 46:27Speaker 7: But he told me under direst No.
- 46:28Speaker 5: Again, because my loyalty is to Greg directly, So I'm
- 46:32Speaker 5: not looking out for him, but especially if I know
- 46:34Speaker 5: that he's doing this. Sorry, Mario, we're just using you
- 46:37Speaker 5: as an examples.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Let's d.
- 46:44Speaker 5: But yeah, my loyalty is to Greg, right, So like
- 46:47Speaker 5: I have, I have no real loyalty tomorrow other than
- 46:50Speaker 5: he's with Greg. If you know outside of that, no,
- 46:54Speaker 5: So like I would tell Greg directly, I don't you know,
- 46:58Speaker 5: especially Maria is the one doing something wrong. I'm not gonna,
- 47:00Speaker 5: you know, protect him in any way or give him
- 47:03Speaker 5: any benefit of the doubt or give him any opportunity.
- 47:05Speaker 8: For one time, I did get a random call from
- 47:08Speaker 8: a friend's girlfriend asking if I pulled a prank on
- 47:12Speaker 8: him and by putting a condom.
- 47:15Speaker 2: In please please say that? Excuse you say, I don't
- 47:21Speaker 2: know's I don't know. I end up just saying yes,
- 47:27Speaker 2: I'm a good friend. Yeah, that was me. I put
- 47:30Speaker 2: a condom in his podcast.
- 47:31Speaker 5: Look, I've had plenty of friends who were cheating on
- 47:35Speaker 5: whoever they were with, and they know how I feel
- 47:38Speaker 5: about it, and I didn't like it, and I said, man,
- 47:40Speaker 5: that sucks. Just break I also say, just break up.
- 47:42Speaker 5: I don't know why you're doing that. Do you end
- 47:44Speaker 5: break up?
- 47:44Speaker 7: Have you ever ended a friendship because you thought less
- 47:47Speaker 7: of the person for doing that?
- 47:49Speaker 2: No, because it's not my relationship.
- 47:51Speaker 7: But what else are they going to lie about?
- 47:53Speaker 5: That's their problem, you know, not my problem. But like I,
- 47:56Speaker 5: you know, am I more aware of like the type
- 47:59Speaker 5: of person and that they you know, like when they're
- 48:03Speaker 5: telling me something or whatever. And my little bit more
- 48:06Speaker 5: on the on the alert. Yeah, yeah, I am, but
- 48:11Speaker 5: that's in their personal relationship.
- 48:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I know somebody who I witnessed the morning after
- 48:18Speaker 2: of cheating. This is after this person's mom died and
- 48:22Speaker 2: he said to me, just, oh, come on, man, it
- 48:24Speaker 2: was sympathy sex. Don't say anything. My wife will be
- 48:26Speaker 2: in town tonight. Ohm died, his mom died. He felt bad,
- 48:31Speaker 2: so then he banged some nurse.
- 48:33Speaker 7: No, I don't help.
- 48:34Speaker 2: And then I was there in the morning having coffee,
- 48:36Speaker 2: and then outwalks this woman I've never seen before. And
- 48:39Speaker 2: then he looked at me as I have to say, like,
- 48:41Speaker 2: don't say anything, because she didn't know he was married.
- 48:44Speaker 2: He said, please, don't say anything. It's a sympathy sex thing.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Like come on, what would you do? I said nothing, Yeah,
- 48:49Speaker 2: and I but I was like, you would he? I said, dude,
- 48:51Speaker 2: what just get a divorce. Yeah, you're already twice divorced.
- 48:54Speaker 2: What's three now that.
- 48:57Speaker 5: You're saying that, I'm thinking of a very specific example
- 49:00Speaker 5: of a friend. But like what I stopped doing as
- 49:02Speaker 5: I stopped hanging out with him as a couple of course,
- 49:05Speaker 5: you know, like if it was like, uh, you and
- 49:06Speaker 5: I were going to a hockey game, Okay, fine, but
- 49:09Speaker 5: like not getting wives together. Yeah, not doing like a
- 49:13Speaker 5: oh because I can't sit there.
- 49:14Speaker 8: I know, And I'd be afraid I'd make I mean,
- 49:16Speaker 8: it does, cause it would probably cause drama in your
- 49:19Speaker 8: own life because then your wife would be like, oh,
- 49:22Speaker 8: how come you didn't tell me about it?
- 49:25Speaker 2: Things like that.
- 49:25Speaker 5: I probably wouldn't care about it. Yeah, like no, I
- 49:28Speaker 5: would tell her for sure. Yeah, but if I knew again,
- 49:32Speaker 5: sorry Mario, if I knew, If I knew Mario was
- 49:35Speaker 5: cheating on Greg before I said anything Greg, i'd say
- 49:38Speaker 5: something to Jenn. I'd be like, hey, so what should
- 49:40Speaker 5: I do? Yeah, I'm gonna tell Greg. Yeah, she would
- 49:43Speaker 5: know about it.
- 49:44Speaker 7: Yeah, for sure. You just have to assume the spouse knows.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Then I saw them bling your eye and I knew
- 49:51Speaker 7: you were.
- 49:51Speaker 5: Banging Okay, okay, okay, we'll do it.
- 49:56Speaker 11: On Instagram show.
- 49:58Speaker 2: So how did you find out that you we were
- 50:00Speaker 2: being cheated on?
- 50:02Speaker 4: All?
- 50:02Speaker 5: This kind of jumped off from that little update that
- 50:04Speaker 5: Gina had in the news about Mike rabel and he
- 50:08Speaker 5: had addressed at the press conference.
- 50:10Speaker 2: You know, those hands with.
- 50:11Speaker 5: Diana Rassini, and you know, I had some difficult.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Conversations with my family.
- 50:16Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, well, yeah, how'd you how'd you find out?
- 50:21Speaker 2: Let's say hi to Bailey, Hey Bailey, Bailey.
- 50:25Speaker 12: Hey Woodie, Hey you guys.
- 50:26Speaker 11: Hey?
- 50:26Speaker 5: Al right, so yeah, how'd you find out? So?
- 50:30Speaker 12: I was married my ex. Things were already shady, and
- 50:34Speaker 12: you know, I was already suspicious. But at one point
- 50:37Speaker 12: my ex was going out of town for a work
- 50:40Speaker 12: thing and we had already lived in the city. So
- 50:43Speaker 12: I'm like, oh, you would be doing out with friends,
- 50:44Speaker 12: blah blah blah. He's saying no, no, no. Then I
- 50:47Speaker 12: go and ask this one girl that I was kind
- 50:49Speaker 12: of suspicious of if she wanted to hang out that
- 50:52Speaker 12: week we were friends, and she's like, no, I'm also
- 50:55Speaker 12: going out of town and I'm like, oh, spidery set.
- 51:02Speaker 12: So then I check his email, my exes email the
- 51:05Speaker 12: night before he leaves town, and I find this preservation
- 51:08Speaker 12: at the state spot we used to go to, and
- 51:11Speaker 12: so I call one of my friends in my old
- 51:13Speaker 12: city and asked her, like, hey, would you go to
- 51:16Speaker 12: this thing? Like I'm pretty sure, Like I think that
- 51:19Speaker 12: that's going to happen. So she goes. Twenty minutes later,
- 51:24Speaker 12: he shows up with the exact girl I thought it
- 51:28Speaker 12: was going to be and then so that.
- 51:31Speaker 5: That sealed the deal. Yeah, and so you weren't you
- 51:35Speaker 5: weren't hanging around though, I mean you called it off
- 51:37Speaker 5: after that, I'm assuming right, Oh yeah that was it
- 51:40Speaker 5: because said it was already kind of shaking.
- 51:42Speaker 12: Divorce papers and had everything. And then the bonus part
- 51:46Speaker 12: is I called the restaurant, ordered drinks, sent it to
- 51:50Speaker 12: their table.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 51:55Speaker 6: On his card.
- 51:56Speaker 12: Yeah, put it on his card and lets a note like, hey,
- 51:59Speaker 12: congratulations you guys. Me and then the her, the girl's boyfriend.
- 52:04Speaker 12: I was also friends with them, like we were double dating.
- 52:07Speaker 12: I was like, hey, me and so and so can't
- 52:10Speaker 12: wait to see you guys when you get home.
- 52:12Speaker 5: Oh that's good, Thank you for the call. Appreciate you
- 52:18Speaker 5: listening to the Woodie Show. Anonymous on line three here, Hey, hey,
- 52:24Speaker 5: so how'd you find out?
- 52:27Speaker 11: So I was a regular at this bar. Basically I
- 52:32Speaker 11: was there every weekend and that's where I actually met
- 52:37Speaker 11: said X. And he went missing for like two days.
- 52:42Speaker 11: No one could get a hold of him. Everyone just
- 52:44Speaker 11: thought like he went to go visit his dad. No
- 52:46Speaker 11: big deal. So one of my girlfriends took me out
- 52:50Speaker 11: to a different bar, just like one city over and
- 52:55Speaker 11: I got a phone call from the bouncer at that
- 52:59Speaker 11: bar saying, hey, uh, your extra showed up with another girl.
- 53:05Speaker 5: How did the bouncer have your number?
- 53:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 53:07Speaker 5: Right, question my first question if I was the guy, like,
- 53:10Speaker 5: all right, he busted me. But can I ask you
- 53:13Speaker 5: a question?
- 53:13Speaker 2: Why does your number? Why does this bouncer have your number?
- 53:18Speaker 15: Just because like I became friends with him, became friends.
- 53:21Speaker 11: Every weekend and like we all hang.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Out, and he just wanted to be a nice guy.
- 53:28Speaker 2: They never made out with this guy, the bouncer guy.
- 53:31Speaker 5: No, god, no, you never even saw a nipple or anything.
- 53:35Speaker 11: No, not even the case.
- 53:36Speaker 5: All right, okay, well I would have questions anonymous, Yeah,
- 53:41Speaker 5: thank you, thank you for the call. Uh, fidel, what's
- 53:45Speaker 5: going on?
- 53:46Speaker 9: Hey?
- 53:46Speaker 2: Hey, so how'd you find out?
- 53:50Speaker 3: So my friend my frat had this tradition where people
- 53:54Speaker 3: would roast each other, like the new members would roast
- 53:57Speaker 3: the older members. So the roasting member after remember after
- 54:01Speaker 3: remember after remember, I'm ok, hey, when am I going
- 54:03Speaker 3: to come up? I'm the last person to be mentioned.
- 54:05Speaker 3: They stop the music and they're like, hey, but just
- 54:08Speaker 3: so you know, one, two, three guys are cheating me
- 54:11Speaker 3: with your shirl.
- 54:11Speaker 8: I'm like, what, Oh no, that's a pretty hard roast, just.
- 54:19Speaker 5: To tell you. Yeah, that's why I left him for
- 54:21Speaker 5: last I mean, yeah, was there a lot of laughing, right,
- 54:23Speaker 5: that's hilarious.
- 54:25Speaker 2: It was that violent?
- 54:26Speaker 7: Yeah, oh my god.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Obviously you were a young man at this at this point,
- 54:32Speaker 5: well more young than you are now.
- 54:34Speaker 2: But yeah one yeah, yeah, So how many days do
- 54:37Speaker 2: you cry about it?
- 54:38Speaker 5: Look, if you're gonna get if you're gonna get cheated on,
- 54:40Speaker 5: that's the time in your life to get cheated on.
- 54:42Speaker 2: When you're nice and young.
- 54:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it sucks. The older you are and the more
- 54:45Speaker 5: established in your life and more complicated, like you own
- 54:48Speaker 5: the house together, kids and all that kind of stuff,
- 54:51Speaker 5: you're gonna get cheated on.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Make it when you're twenty one and got nothing. Yeah,
- 54:55Speaker 2: time for your roast cheated on? Yeah, thank you, thank you.
- 54:59Speaker 5: The someone said, I was in the hospital and when
- 55:02Speaker 5: I got home, the neighbor's kid asked if we had
- 55:04Speaker 5: got a new car, because there was one parked outside
- 55:06Speaker 5: of our house for three nights in our own Our
- 55:10Speaker 5: daughter told me mommy's new boyfriend slept in bed with
- 55:12Speaker 5: her last night.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Kid kids, Santa Claus she said she was.
- 55:20Speaker 5: At her friend's house, but her friend was at our house. Like, really,
- 55:24Speaker 5: because she's.
- 55:25Speaker 7: Here, how can she be in two places at once?
- 55:27Speaker 5: This person said. The waitress at our favorite restaurant told
- 55:30Speaker 5: me that he had bought another woman there, brought another
- 55:32Speaker 5: woman there on a date while I was on a
- 55:34Speaker 5: work trip.
- 55:35Speaker 7: Oh damn, that's not very sopranos of them. They're sop
- 55:38Speaker 7: be like where have you been? You haven't been here
- 55:40Speaker 7: so long?
- 55:41Speaker 5: They didn't log out of the dating website on our
- 55:43Speaker 5: shared computer, and then tried to gaslight me, saying that
- 55:46Speaker 5: I made the account. Of course it was you, Like,
- 55:50Speaker 5: look if you how would you convince somebody who didn't
- 55:54Speaker 5: sign up for an account that they did that they did?
- 55:57Speaker 5: I forgot because you know that that is your account.
- 56:01Speaker 5: How would you even think that you could convince somebody
- 56:03Speaker 5: of that?
- 56:04Speaker 7: I mean, if they're so beaten down. That did happen
- 56:08Speaker 7: my ex boyfriend, he was married, and he found out
- 56:12Speaker 7: she was cheating because the family computer in the kitchen
- 56:16Speaker 7: was open to like a cheating website. Like, so that's
- 56:18Speaker 7: somebody who clearly wants to be caught.
- 56:20Speaker 5: Right when I found out through a calendar reminder, that
- 56:23Speaker 5: wasn't meant for me. I was playing a game on
- 56:27Speaker 5: their iPad and accidentally found a notes app entry that
- 56:30Speaker 5: said I cheated on him today.
- 56:31Speaker 2: It was fun. Wow, what I didn't have a digital
- 56:35Speaker 2: diary going on? And you forget I just answered G's
- 56:37Speaker 2: question real quick. Guys are dumb. I don't think he
- 56:40Speaker 2: wants to get cheated. Guys are moron.
- 56:43Speaker 7: But do you think she thought he'll never notice because
- 56:45Speaker 7: he's dumb? I mean, it's open on the computer.
- 56:49Speaker 5: So that I left for work at five am, came
- 56:51Speaker 5: back fifteen minutes later because I forgot something. My girlfriend
- 56:54Speaker 5: that I was living with at the time already had
- 56:55Speaker 5: a guy there and told me that he was a
- 56:58Speaker 5: friend and that he was at a party that just
- 57:00Speaker 5: got rated at four o'clock in the middle of the week.
- 57:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I love.
- 57:03Speaker 5: It was awkward and I caught them and she wanted
- 57:05Speaker 5: me to shake his hand like we were friends. No, sir,
- 57:09Speaker 5: glad I left that home. I lost not one, but
- 57:13Speaker 5: two friends when I told each of them that their
- 57:15Speaker 5: boyfriend was cheating.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Both stories are crazy, Yeah, that's what we're saying.
- 57:19Speaker 5: Like, you know, if getting you and you tell the
- 57:23Speaker 5: friend your friend, you're looking out for them.
- 57:25Speaker 2: You tell them and they're mad at you.
- 57:27Speaker 5: Yep, dumb anyway eight seven seven forty four Woodie text.
- 57:32Speaker 5: Of of course, you can always send those over a
- 57:34Speaker 5: lot of people doing that over to two two nine
- 57:36Speaker 5: eight seven show.
- 57:41Speaker 2: All rightah, so what you watching?
- 57:44Speaker 5: What's uh? What's something you're really into these days? What's
- 57:49Speaker 5: got your attention on one of the many streaming services
- 57:53Speaker 5: or whatever you're watching on? My daughter, I walked in
- 57:57Speaker 5: on her the other day and she was watching a
- 57:59Speaker 5: YouTube video and I forget what they're called. You might
- 58:02Speaker 5: know what they're called, Gina, you've got a child in
- 58:05Speaker 5: your house. These like little squishy, blocked looking things.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 58:13Speaker 5: And she was watching a video where somebody had four
- 58:17Speaker 5: or five lined up right in row.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Bubblah.
- 58:19Speaker 5: There's no talking, there's no other sound. They're just taking
- 58:22Speaker 5: their finger and it's a close up of each one
- 58:24Speaker 5: and they're just like pushing it to show that it socks,
- 58:27Speaker 5: and then going to the next one and pushing on
- 58:29Speaker 5: that one.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, what do you watch it? It's the
- 58:31Speaker 2: next But it's not a character at all. It's just
- 58:33Speaker 2: a it's a they're just these The point here is
- 58:38Speaker 2: that she was watching a video.
- 58:39Speaker 5: She was captivated by a video of just watching somebody
- 58:42Speaker 5: push on something soft.
- 58:44Speaker 7: No hate it.
- 58:44Speaker 8: Well, what there's already why already videos of suburban moms
- 58:49Speaker 8: lying up at stores trying to get these things.
- 58:52Speaker 5: Oh yeah, and they're just understanding that they're hard to get.
- 58:55Speaker 5: My wife said that they were on eBay.
- 58:58Speaker 2: For like forty dollars retail.
- 59:01Speaker 7: They're twenty and there and they're on back order.
- 59:04Speaker 5: It's just basically like a stress ball.
- 59:06Speaker 2: It's a stupid little I have marshmallow.
- 59:08Speaker 7: It's so and the kids are trading them at schools.
- 59:10Speaker 7: Of course we all get an email about that.
- 59:12Speaker 8: But it seems to be like a certain group that
- 59:15Speaker 8: are really into them, like the Stanley Mug kind of
- 59:19Speaker 8: people like looking for these things.
- 59:22Speaker 7: All kids?
- 59:23Speaker 2: Yeah, girls, I mean, I'm sure any adults if.
- 59:27Speaker 5: It's childish, I'm sure there are adults who are.
- 59:29Speaker 14: Well, didn't you say there's moms lining up for the kids? Yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 14: because it's a big thing with the kids. I think
- 59:34Speaker 14: that's what Menace is saying, is that that that mentality
- 59:37Speaker 14: trickles down from the adult to the kid.
- 59:39Speaker 5: Yeah, but somebody made the point. I can I can,
- 59:42Speaker 5: I can see it of parents going out and getting
- 59:46Speaker 5: these things for their kids and lining up. It's cabbage
- 59:48Speaker 5: Patch kids, right, it's the Tickle Me Elmo, it's the
- 59:51Speaker 5: it's whatever it is at that moment.
- 59:53Speaker 7: That's exactly right, because I finally verbally backed my kid
- 59:56Speaker 7: into a corner and said, like, why do you want
- 59:58Speaker 7: this so bad? Why are you obsess with it? And
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: I finally got the answer because everybody else has one.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: And the Labuba thing. What was so pathetic about that
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: is there was a lot of adults. I see a
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: lot of adults.
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: On their verses, on their keychains.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, so depressing. It's very depressing the cinerary.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: It's not doesn't suck to be homish sometimes you guys.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Or a total hermit. So that's what my daughter was watching.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: And you know, they talk about how your kids they're
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: watching stuff just on you know, the iPad or the
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: phone and not even necessarily on a television that's old school,
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: and what effect that has had as these kids now
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: start to get older and start moving into their own
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: places and they don't necessarily even have a television.
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: And remember how they used to be.
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: The effect on the TV industry.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: And they used to blame like MTV like it's moving
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: too fast, like people are getting you know, short attention span.
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: Now it's YouTube shorts. They're not more than sixteen seconds
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: and it just school school school school. It's crazy.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: So what you're watching, if there's something that you've you've
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: gotten really into. I'm trying to tell my my wife, like,
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: you know, you've got to watch Arrested Development.
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: She's never seen Arrested Development because she likes it. It's creek, yeah.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: You know, And I think if you like that, because
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: people mean, well you like Arrested Development, so you would
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: like this show. And I go, well, if you love
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: that show because I watched Arrested Development, like I told her,
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: like you loved that show, you would like this one.
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: It's fact with jokes, very smart, super fun.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: What's the banana? What's the banana? Line? Again? Like how
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: much could have could have banana?
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Cause Michael ten dollars fun. The characters are all fantastic.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: It's so funny.
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: You can quote Arrested Development lines the way that most
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: people can like recite Seinfelder stuff.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Like that I do step Brothers. It's right office yeah, now.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: It's I mean it ended like many years ago. Yeah,
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: and that last season wasn't wasn't such a winner, but
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: that's okay, still great.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Yeah, it's and it's just tough to keep up because
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: there's so many platforms, there's so many places to watch
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: shows and define things.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: You go, what is that?
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I didn't even know that was on.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Didn't even hear about that. So that's the thing.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: We are just kind of discussing, you know, hey, what
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: you're watching, so that maybe you can find if you're
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: looking for something new to watch or something to get into.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: I mean, I will tell you. We talked about it
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: here recently. Peggy, Blinders is still my go to recommendation
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: as I'm talking to people. We're just having a conversation
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: about the other.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Day with somebody.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Yeah, and I mentioned how Gina's watched the movie like
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: four or five times already.
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: Three times, and then I just did another one.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: But it's one of those don't watch the movie before
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: you watch the show.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: Now I'm hardening my stance against that.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: No.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: In fact, I just had another conversation with somebody else yesterday.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: I go absolutely agree with you and what you said
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: about watching the show before you watch the movie.
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: You know Perfect World.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Sure, the movie is gonna be fine if you watch
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: it stand on, it'll be fine. It won't be great.
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: It will be great. It won't be excellent.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: It'll be great, it'll be good. It won't be great,
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: it'll be great. Disagree.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: I have three plot points that I think everyone needs
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: to know before they watch it, and they'll be fine.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: Okay, well let's not mention those.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: How many seasons and Peaky Blinders were there?
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: Were there? Binge watched, so I can't tell you four three?
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: Like I didn't watch that.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: You do all that work before watching? You do? See?
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: Don't watch it?
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Greg?
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: You the movie so much better when you understand all
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: the stuff, obviously, but breaking Breaking bad great? Okay, you
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: gotta watch that. I think to fully appreciate Better Call Saul?
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: Could you watch Better Call Saul and still get it?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: You could? Does it make it even better when you
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: have when the people make their appearances?
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: But absolutely? But if people say, well, then I'm never
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: going to see Peaky Blinders the movie because I'll never
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: watch the whole series. I'm like, just watch the movie.
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: It's so good.
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: I think if you start watching Peaky Blinders, you will
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: finish the series, because it's amazing.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: It's a great show.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: It's a series, by the way, has six seasons.
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: Six seasons.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: What's better Peaky Blinders or Breaking Bad?
- 1:03:58Speaker 11: Oh?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Come on, you have to pick a favorite.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: I'm not I'm not killing a child.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Breaking Bad. Yeah, that's the best show ever made.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean Peggy Blinder it's close for me.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: It's just rewatching there for me. It's close. Yeah, it's
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: really clear. Like I think, if you like Breaking Bad,
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: you will also like Peggy Blinders.
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Violent, Oh yeah, I mean this.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: The story is great, the characters are great.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: You can't beat him.
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it's on It's on Netflix if you want to
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: watch that. But what you watch in eight seven, seven
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: forty four, Woodie text us over to two two nine,
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: eight seven, and then later on the hour, Sea Bass
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: is gonna do a does it suck review of something
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: that just came out here recently and I had to watch.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Oh the way he said that, so I got got
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: to watch them. I'm guessing the way he said that
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: it's gonna suck.
- 1:04:46Speaker 14: The new Trevor Noah Stand Up Special, Yeah, that's fine.
- 1:04:51Speaker 14: That international mega superstar Trevor no who is very funny.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: See that's an argument you can make for industry plant right, yeah, right,
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: Like they talk about Kevin Hard, but Kevin Hart's legitimately funny, and.
- 1:05:03Speaker 14: He came he had like Grot was in the clubs
- 1:05:05Speaker 14: for like ten fifteen years before he even had his
- 1:05:08Speaker 14: first chance.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: And when you see stick, even if you didn't know his.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: History, you would see him.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: Let's just say you've never seen or heard about Kevin
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Hart before, and you watch him, you go, all right,
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: I get it.
- 1:05:16Speaker 14: He has the it factor. Yeah, I argue his stand
- 1:05:19Speaker 14: ups not great, but he's just a funny person.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: When it comes to Trevor No, you go what yeah,
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: wow accent.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I mean he was taking over the Daily Show.
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: He's overseas, okay, okay, all right, anyway, so that's coming up.
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: What you watching eight seven, seven forty four text over
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: to two two nine eight seven back getting getting the
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: shuck dude, ye suck du.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: What show? So what you watching?
- 1:05:56Speaker 14: What?
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: What show?
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: Are you really into you right now? Or you know,
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: content in general? Maybe that's the thing now, it doesn't even.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Have to be a show show.
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: I was about to say, I'm like, there's not a
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: lot of shows that I'm watching these days.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: And I used to be like obsessed with television constantly.
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: I usually just watch the news, and then I watched
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: a lot of podcasts, podcast clips on TikTok and YouTube.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: That's the big thing, watching podcasts, right.
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: Yeah, and then but like actual television shows, I find
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: myself watching SNL UK because they have a UK version
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: now that they launched, and it's good.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: I like it a lot. It's available on Peacock.
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: Watching the podcast like, I wonder, what are we watching
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: a talk show?
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Just watching discussion?
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: I guess yeah, yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, but like yeah,
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: or it's like day after day unless there's some kind
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: of visual element to it where it's like, all right, well,
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: I can't just listen to this, I have to watch
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: whatever it is.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: There's usually not no, yeah, I would say most of
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: the time there's not.
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: To be honest, though, they're ill all listen to a podcast,
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: but it never makes me like, oh I gotta go
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: watch it.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: Yeah, unless there's something that happens during the podcast. Yeah,
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: I that never happens. But if it's in my feed,
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: then I'll watch the clip. GINI grad what you're watching?
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: Well, watching a couple of things. I've always been anti
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: like BBC programming because I just don't care about it.
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: But I am obsessed currently with broad Church. I know
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: it's kind of old, but I just got like into
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: this like detective show from twenty thirteen. It's on Netflix.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: I can't stop watching it and I just finished DTF
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: Saint Louis.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Oh that's so good. It's crazy.
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: Okay, so I've heard the title, but again, can you
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: explain what that show is about?
- 1:07:43Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: I mean, yeah, Greg, need to help me because you
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: don't want to reveal too much.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: So yeah, Well, Jason Bateman plays a weatherman and he
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: becomes best friends with his sign language interpreter.
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: He like stands on the side and interprets.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: It's not a real position in local news, correct, not
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: that I've ever heard of.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: And this won't spoil it by saying why they become
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: best friends. They basically both decide to join this dating
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: site because they're essentially unhappy with their lives. And then
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: the entire show centers around detectives trying to solve a
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: murder of flashbacks. It's mostly flashbacks.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: Very character driven, I would say, over story driven.
- 1:08:22Speaker 14: I will say this, it's one of those shows that
- 1:08:24Speaker 14: the first episode of course, because it's very surprisy. Yes,
- 1:08:28Speaker 14: I was like, oh, interesting, and then I got less
- 1:08:29Speaker 14: and less interest as it went on, just because especially
- 1:08:32Speaker 14: those harbor y' slow down a lot.
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: David Harber's just putts. Yeah, I didn't care about him
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: at all.
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: That's why I say it becomes incredibly character driven, because
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: then it's just about like kind of the strangeness of
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: these people.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Her and her character. She has a lot of quirks.
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: Yeah, get there.
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: I get why she has those quarks, but they're just
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: not interesting to me.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: Yeah, But I think overall, I don't. I think it's
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: gonna win a lot of things because I win a
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: lot of awards.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Bateman is flawless, course, always looking a lot like a
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: lesbian these days.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: But it's a great show. But it does slow down.
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: Yeah, I would watch it though.
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I have that on my list along with The Pit,
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: which I know, Greg, Yeah you would. Someone was just
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: going off about The Pit the other day and a
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: conversation that I was having over some tequila and man
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: the ever was going on and on about it. Many
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: know Greg's been obsessed so realistic with that show. Yeah,
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: here are lots of people who work in the medical industry,
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: you know, the hospitals and nurses and doctors and stuff
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: about just how realistic that is the other one that
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: I overheard, I don't know anything about anybody in the room.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: Have you watched Friends and Neighbors?
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Yes, John Hamm on HBO. I watched the first season.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: I started watching the second season. But it's really really good. Yeah.
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: So it's about this guy who was a big financial
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: guy and he's living in this you know, luxurious neighborhood
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: and then he a loses his job and because he's
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: you know, hooking up with chicks and stuff nice, but
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: he wants to maintain his lifestyle. So he's around his
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: like dopey like neighbors that are mega rich, and he
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: kind of like sneaks into their houses and like steals
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: like two hundred and fifty thousand dollars watches.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: Because they'll never notice. Yeah, you know, like taking a
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: two hundred fifty thousand dollars watching this guy, he'll never
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: notice it's even gone.
- 1:10:23Speaker 8: It's in the trailer for the TV show, so I'm
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: not really giving away too much, but yeah, it's it's
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: pretty cool.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I like it.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: It's called Friends and Neighbors Platform it's on Apple po Okay, no,
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: is that Apple TV? I believe it's Apple on The
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: texts said it's on HBO. All right, well maybe you're confused, Texter.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: Your friends and neighbors. Yeah, your friends and neighbors, right,
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: and that's on Apple TV.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Two seasons.
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: Greg Gorya, what you're watching?
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: There is a new show starring Dan Levy from Shit's
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Creek Fame that he created called Big Mistakes. It's on Netflix.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: He plays a closeted gay pastor and his mother who's
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: played by Laurie Metcalf from Roseanne. She is Aunt Jackie
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: and Roseanne. She's running for mayor. So he already has
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: some drama in his life. And meanwhile, his sister does
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: something that gets them entangled into organized crime, so they're
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: forced to be in this organized crime world. They describe
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: it as a comedy, but a lot of it is
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: actually pretty scary and funny, but subtly funny. So the
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: dynamic between Dan Levy and his sister, they bicker, they
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: don't get along, and now here they are basically dealing
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: with the mafia. It's surprisingly good. Critics loved it, audiences
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: mega love it. So there's one season out. I believe
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: it's six episodes, big mistakes. It's really great.
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: I started watching that too, Greg, and it's pretty good.
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: Did you finish it?
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: I did, Okay, because I haven't finished it yet, so
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: don't tell me how it ends.
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: But I thought it was cute.
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: But sometimes I feel like there's like kind of whole
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: like plots of being like, couldn't they have gotten away there?
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: You never felt that way?
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: No?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: I did. I did, and they they're way too agreeable
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: with the criminals, right, yeah, meet me outside, right, Yeah,
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: just don't go out there. But you know, it's the
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: way they got into it. I agree. Yeah, so good,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: it's good.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: It's still worth watching. But there's a lot of times
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: where you're like, yeah, just don't do that, right, just
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: don't on.
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: The text People following up said, don't believe the hype
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: on the pit. Just because it's realistic doesn't make it amazing.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I think the first story is just kind of like graphic.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: That's the thing. The more I think about it. The
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: first season a plus this season is kind of getting
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: to the point of, Okay, we get it.
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: Do you think they were writing on that? Like I
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: do like the idea of like twenty four. It's all
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: in it is.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I do like it one hour in real life, but
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: it does get a little repetitive because there's not a
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: whole lot of story there. It's just medical case after
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: medical case.
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: Then somebody said, I just finished the Pit and it's
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: such a great show. It's not like the b Gray's
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: Anatomy stuff.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Soap opera basically get tired of the same set because
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: it never really ventures out of the e er. You
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: might get bored of it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: I tried to watch Saint Dennis Medical.
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: Oh yeah, never heard of it.
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: It's kind of like what's her name from?
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, she's got a new show.
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: Isn't it kind of like Hospitals.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: I've never even heard the office for hospitals.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. It's like everybody's trying to recreate the Office.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: I kind of stumbled on.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: That, yeah, and I went in wanting to love it.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: No.
- 1:13:33Speaker 14: Uh, well, that formula has really just been beaten. It
- 1:13:36Speaker 14: in the ground and the monumentary. I mean, you also
- 1:13:39Speaker 14: have scrubs that came back to Thanks, never watched what
- 1:13:43Speaker 14: you watch them? Well, I was pretty much telling you
- 1:13:45Speaker 14: it's it's just usually podcasts.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: And yeah, but you don't have like one like everything
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: the only actual television I tell you, like my whole day.
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: I'm an old man. I watched news all day and
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: then I've intentionally steered away from you.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Just want to know what's going on?
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: What about the new Rhode Island Housewives menace? No?
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: What I haven't No, I mean I've been watching cliffs.
- 1:14:11Speaker 8: You want to watch the reality world. I've been watching
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: like all the drama that's been happening between the summer
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: house stuff and then Alex on Alex with Alex Earl and.
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: Oh Medas did you see that, uh doctor pimple Popper.
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: She had a stroke.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, oh right, yeah, oh god fortunate.
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess while she was filming like one of
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: the episodes is when it happened.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's affected her her speech a bit. And no, yeah,
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: what's her name, Sandra something, doctor pimple Popper. I just
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: call her doctor Pemple, doctor pimple Popper. Sammy, what you're watching?
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: Well, Sea Bass, I have been watching the New Scrubs
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: and I love it. It's so good. It's on Disney,
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: and it's really cute the way that they're I mean,
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: it's good, the way that they're showing basically how it
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: used to be on the original Scrubs and the head
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: of internal medicine who was always like screaming at him
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: with everything they did, and now they have to approach
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: it differently and they're not allowed to yell at people
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: or like hurt the younger group's feelings and they have
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: like NHR. Now that's like you can't talk to people
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: like that.
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: And I don't know.
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: I just think it's really cute and like adapting.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: And the woman who plays the HR lady is so funny.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: It's done in a really good way. It's not done
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: in an obnoxious way.
- 1:15:23Speaker 14: I think you just revealed my problem with Scrubs there,
- 1:15:25Speaker 14: because everything she said it was really cute.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: That was my problem when it was originally on, was
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: like it just too cute. Oh god, you're trying to
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: be cute. Cute. It was cute, not funny.
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: That's that's the problem.
- 1:15:35Speaker 6: I think it's both, but okay, anyway, anyway, I also
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: watched the new reboot of Malcolm in the Middle that
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: was like, oh my god, it is so good.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: I loved it.
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: I think they nailed it. Brian Cranston which I know
- 1:15:48Speaker 6: we were kind of like, Wow, I can't believe they
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: got him to go back and do that. I think
- 1:15:52Speaker 6: he was allowed to have such a range with his
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: like acting ability in this four episode thing that it
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: was so worth it for him to do. He was
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: brilliant and amazing and did so many things.
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: In it that I loved it.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Working to watch that? Is that Hulu or that's Disney?
- 1:16:05Speaker 7: Yeah, Hulu, Disney, Yeah, Okay.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: On the Texas, I'm watching Shrinking on Apple TV.
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: I started.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: That was one that I started and I liked, but
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: I just I don't know, I got distracted. Likewise, I'll
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: go back to that. I think.
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: I'm also watching a docu series called Trust Me. It's
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: a follow up to another series, and it's about the
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints in Utah and Arizona
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: and how their leaders are all polygamist and sex offenders.
- 1:16:29Speaker 11: I watched it.
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: I watched it after Keep Sweet and Pray and Obey.
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: It's crazy that actually when I was talking about yeah,
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: it's it's I love like cult stuff and this is
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: as bad as culty as it gets. Because everybody claims
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: they're a prophet, you don't know who to find.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Which one is the guy that has like fifteen wives.
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the guy that's well you're which, no.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Which which documentary is it? The one that has the
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: fifteen wives.
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: The Samuels, the Samuelites. That's that's the new one that
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: trust me.
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: This text says looking forward to Silow season three on
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: Apple TV. I saw the trailer fab right before it
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: came out that like, that looked kind of cool. Silo
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: was like, basically the world was coming to an end,
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: and so they built this like kind of underground silo
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: where society or you know, civilization could survive. Oh wait, yeah,
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: like a fallout bunker.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: Yeah kind of Yeah, Yeah, it looked it looked pretty cool.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: It's really good.
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: Some great series Animal Kingdom. It's the surfing version of
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: Sons of Anarchy.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, trailer for that.
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: Hey Wood, he showed James here. I'm watching Marshals on
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: Amazon Prime.
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: I haven't heard of it.
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: I was watching The Night Manager on Amazon Prime and
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: then saw Hugh Laurie in the show, and now I'm
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: binge watching House How that was a great show.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Back in the day, I was in love with him. Yeah,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: he was great. I like that character. Paradise on Hulu.
- 1:17:50Speaker 7: Yes, I've heard good things about that. Haven't started.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I watched the whole season. Yeah, it's good.
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: Now we know Seabas besides the Trevor Noah special, what
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: you watch it?
- 1:17:59Speaker 14: Well, because I had flicks up, I saw that they
- 1:18:01Speaker 14: had the new uh Anaconda movie People in this room
- 1:18:06Speaker 14: ripped out for pre ripped out when it was announced
- 1:18:08Speaker 14: with Paul rud and Jack Jack Laki.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I've got about halfway through and it's not great.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Oh no, turned it off. Honestly, I thought that was
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: give me in theaters. But what's the show? What's just
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: what's the show that you actually liked that?
- 1:18:21Speaker 14: Yeah, I'm on the superhero shows on Amazon Prime because
- 1:18:24Speaker 14: they're i think their last season of the Boys and Invincible.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: Yeah, and I'm not. I'm just kind of on, you know,
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: because I'm used to him. But there's nothing new or
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: interesting there, so it may Watch Rooster on HBO.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I like it. It's hard to define. It's
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: quirky and weird, but it's very very funny, and I
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: get it reminds me about what Steve Correll is a
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: best selling author, but he's not like a total academic
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: nerd because he's selling like romance novels. And his daughter
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: is an academic nerd and she works at a university
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: where he eventually gets a job. Uh, and he's working
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: alongside his daughter, and then it follows her family drama
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: and him trying to adjust to being in academia.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: Is the old school?
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: No, No, it's but it's so well done. And it's
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: on HBO.
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: Yes, And the dude that was in Scrubs, the mean
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: head doctor who's now no longer on the show, he's
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: the dean of this college. Yes, is this smart funny?
- 1:19:27Speaker 9: Or is it?
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: Like for medicine, I can do you may do you
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: need to be smart to get.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Let's say, would like it? What are you trying to?
- 1:19:40Speaker 9: Thanks?
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Ray, you would like it?
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: You know what I need? I need more time? Yeah,
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: there's so many things that you have, like oh, I
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: want to check that out, or I want to watch this,
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: or I want to go do that where I want
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: to know? Sometimes where where do people have all this time?
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: The person that you talk to is like they've watched
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: every show and.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Every episode you have. They're nights. That's why.
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: Now that's one thing. If you know they don't have
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: kids or they're not married, man, because all their time
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: is their own. But when you see people who have kids,
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: how are you doing this? Well, how do you share
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: the secret?
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: Yeah, because my husband watches sport, so they can all
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: watch that together. But the stuff I want to watch
- 1:20:17Speaker 7: kids can't watch, you know, like I am. I supposed
- 1:20:20Speaker 7: to have the crime documentaries about Like br you set.
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: Something up like in your room, like in your bedroom
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: or whatever. You have to have a space that you
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: can go to. I got a space that I can go.
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: I go not watching a kids show like when I'm
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: watching Picky Blinders, Nope.
- 1:20:33Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: But also I can sit there and watch that with
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: my daughter. There's speaking of time, there's the people that
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: they watch everything. Also they play a ton of video games.
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: Yeah, where's all this time coming from? That's great?
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: I think it's envy green with envy working fine time.
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: I think it's like not having any motivation. You're like,
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: you just do your job and then you go home
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: and then all you do is consume content. I guess,
- 1:20:57Speaker 8: and then I do it again.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: Apparently from we're already getting like a little hints from
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: sea bass over here, not so subtle that we can
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: save some time by not watching Trevor Noah's New Special.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Maybe I'm wrong, yeah, Or maybe he's throwing us off.
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe I'm being sneaky. Maybe he wants us to
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: think because he is not. He's been an outspoken hater
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: of Trevor Noah for many, many years. That's true, agreed. Yeah,
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: but I'm not the one doing the review, so Medicine,
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: maybe you're throwing us off. Maybe it turned around right,
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: But I guess does it suck? Trevor Noah's New Special
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: with examples coming up next with Sea bass Yard The
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: Woody Show, Hang Up, Ain't nothing but a Ain't nothing
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: but a sports thing with the G Jeff Garcia, Yo,
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: it's good Jeff G.
- 1:21:44Speaker 16: Good morning wood He showed to cook the Great ice Cube.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Today was a good day.
- 1:21:48Speaker 16: Lakers won Game number two last night against the Rockets.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Lakers trying to close out Game two.
- 1:21:56Speaker 16: Lebron twenty eight, Marcus Smart twenty five points and five
- 1:21:59Speaker 16: huge steals, and Luke Canard who was added again.
- 1:22:02Speaker 5: Twenty three points and he even got some MVP chance
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: pe chants here. Game number three is Friday No Luca
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: this first round series.
- 1:22:14Speaker 16: According to the Lakers, but there is still hope that
- 1:22:17Speaker 16: Austin Reeves can come back in this series. Onto Baseball,
- 1:22:20Speaker 16: Dodgers lost to the hated Giants three one Saint two
- 1:22:23Speaker 16: teams tonight at six forty five from the Bay Area,
- 1:22:25Speaker 16: Otani on the mound for the Dodgers. Catch all the
- 1:22:27Speaker 16: action on a five seventy LA Sports are on the
- 1:22:30Speaker 16: free iHeartRadio app And by the way, congrats to Freddie Freeman.
- 1:22:33Speaker 16: He and his wife welcomed another baby into their family.
- 1:22:35Speaker 16: Moving on to the Angels, they lost four two to
- 1:22:37Speaker 16: the Blue Jay Saint two teams. Today at noon at
- 1:22:40Speaker 16: the Big A Hockey Kings lost the heartbreaker in overtime
- 1:22:43Speaker 16: to the Avs. They're down two in that series, and
- 1:22:45Speaker 16: the Ducks skate tonight in game number two versus the
- 1:22:47Speaker 16: Oilers at seven PM. And finally, this morning, Wood You Show,
- 1:22:51Speaker 16: Patriots coach Mike Rabels spoke to the media for the
- 1:22:54Speaker 16: first time since being accused of having an affair with
- 1:22:57Speaker 16: reporter Diana Russini.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: Listened to this. I've had some difficult conversations with people
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches,
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: the players, those have been positive and productive. Now listen.
- 1:23:09Speaker 16: If you're innocent and you did nothing wrong, you don't
- 1:23:11Speaker 16: have to have quote difficult conversations.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:23:14Speaker 16: It sounds like that difficult conversation was probably telling his
- 1:23:17Speaker 16: wife that he cheated on her.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Jeffg And that's your so cal sports, right, Jeff.
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: Drum pickled penis.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: No Woody show?
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: Well does it suck? That is the question at hand.
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: There's a nude Trevor Noah comedy special comedy.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: I guess, open to interpretation.
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: We'll find out.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: All the cool kids are talking about it, right.
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: To say, come on, tell the truth. He masked that
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: Martin Luther King bit was funny a f all.
- 1:23:56Speaker 14: Right, So that's in the trailer, So I didn't include
- 1:23:58Speaker 14: it here. But the joke is, and again this is
- 1:24:00Speaker 14: not a spoiler because it's in the trailer, the joke
- 1:24:02Speaker 14: is that MLK finally does all these sit ins so
- 1:24:06Speaker 14: he can eat with white people, only to find out
- 1:24:08Speaker 14: that their their food is unflavored and unseasoned.
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: He's, Oh, that sucks.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: I don't know what I was doing.
- 1:24:12Speaker 14: You know, I put you on, I put you all
- 1:24:14Speaker 14: my followers through all this for this terrible food, which
- 1:24:16Speaker 14: is again a very hackey at this point, the white
- 1:24:18Speaker 14: people's food isn't flavored. It has been old for ten years.
- 1:24:21Speaker 14: It's the whole like mayonnaise people argument, which he cites
- 1:24:24Speaker 14: as well.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: Maybe he just didn't say it right.
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: I'll say this, he does have a funny MLKA impression.
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: You ever Noah does.
- 1:24:30Speaker 14: Yeah, he has a new show, a new stand up
- 1:24:32Speaker 14: special on Netflix. It's shot in DC. And I will
- 1:24:36Speaker 14: go ahead and surprise nobody by saying it's mostly political.
- 1:24:38Speaker 14: It's very highly Yes, it is very highly political. So
- 1:24:41Speaker 14: a lot of it is not gonna It's not one
- 1:24:43Speaker 14: of those things that's gonna like in ten years you'll
- 1:24:45Speaker 14: be able to Oh, and you have to explain all
- 1:24:47Speaker 14: the jokes and what he's talking about.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: He's very passionate about our politics.
- 1:24:51Speaker 14: Is yes.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Is he a resident of the United States?
- 1:24:53Speaker 14: You know what?
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:24:54Speaker 14: Okay, But so the first twelve or fifteen minutes of
- 1:24:57Speaker 14: the new Trevor no especially is him talking about his
- 1:24:59Speaker 14: beef with the President and how after he hosted the
- 1:25:02Speaker 14: Grammys Trevor Noah did, the President wrote a very nasty
- 1:25:05Speaker 14: thing about him and maybe even threatened to possibly sue
- 1:25:07Speaker 14: Trevor Noah. And so you're gonna hear from this first bit?
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: Is that what his style is.
- 1:25:13Speaker 14: It's he talks for about two two to three minutes
- 1:25:17Speaker 14: in like a very slow and somber like he's being
- 1:25:20Speaker 14: very like pseudo intellectually profound about things, and he'll throw
- 1:25:23Speaker 14: a joke on at the end. So here he is
- 1:25:25Speaker 14: talking about what would happen if the President sued him
- 1:25:28Speaker 14: over his grammy's jokes?
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: Does it suck?
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: The new Trevor Noah comedy special.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: I don't know how to feel because I don't know
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: how this will play out. If it was a normal time,
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: I'd be pretty confident Donald Trump would sue me. A
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: judge would throw it out for multitude of reasons. Were
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: you know, First Amendment protections, free expression, jokes, satire, all
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: of these things are covered in a regular time and
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: it would be Donald Trump suing me whatever. But now
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: it's not Donald Trump. Now I'm being sued by the
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: President of the United Slime States, Donald Trump, and I
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: don't know what that means.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Do I appeal?
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: Do I appeal? We get to the Supreme Court, I
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: walk in, he's waiting there for me.
- 1:26:12Speaker 17: It's like say hello to my little friends. I don't
- 1:26:22Speaker 17: I don't know, nobody knows what.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Wow, that's that's Oh, that's awful.
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: That can't be it, good man, that's some really good energy.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: It's what you guys said about Sebastian Maniscalco that got
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: me to change my waves of Yeah, Viking, there's no punchline.
- 1:26:42Speaker 14: The touch line is that he is scarface, I guess,
- 1:26:44Speaker 14: and his Supreme Court justices are all people he's been.
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: That was a really long way to go to get
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: to its doing a really short little scarface.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: Reference right right, fifty year old.
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: By the way I'm cut, I'm cutting a lot of
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: these down.
- 1:26:55Speaker 14: That was a full minute again, but that's his style,
- 1:26:58Speaker 14: is these super long and he's trying to be like
- 1:27:01Speaker 14: because he's he's international, and he's you know, he's talking
- 1:27:03Speaker 14: about these big concepts, so he's very serious and he
- 1:27:06Speaker 14: throws in that very mild joke at the end. Right
- 1:27:09Speaker 14: here he has more from Trevor Noah. This is on
- 1:27:12Speaker 14: because he did a hall you know, like ten minutes
- 1:27:13Speaker 14: on Martin Luther King, like we just talked about, and
- 1:27:16Speaker 14: this is him setting up how this is fact that
- 1:27:18Speaker 14: the FBI was spying on MLKA and found out that
- 1:27:21Speaker 14: he was cheating on his wife at the time.
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: All right, see Mass's Does It Suck? The new Trevor
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: Noah comedy special.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: The federal government came off to him. J Edgar Hoover himself,
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: the head of the FBI, designated Martin Luther King as
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: the most dangerous man in America, and then the FBI
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: ran a concerts of campaign to destroy him. They trying
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: and break up his friendships and he's working relationships. And
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: the most sinister thing they did was they tapped his
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: phones and they found out that he was having an affair,
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: and they phoned his wife, Corita Scott King, and they
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: snitched on him because they thought that they would destroy
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: his marriage and destroy the movement. Yeah, I tried to
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: dish gossip on Martin Luther King. Totally changes how you
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: see the organization. FBI seems so serious now you get
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: the real picture. They're in that j Edgar Hoover building
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: in the morning.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: What are you working on Kowaski drug enforcements, sir? What
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: about you?
- 1:28:20Speaker 14: Sir?
- 1:28:21Speaker 17: Criminal crimes was specifically financial and you drama.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: Wow, that's that's the super an hour to get to
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: the world down.
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: So it's like, hey, the FBI has got a gay division. Okay,
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: there's something there.
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: Maybe we need.
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: When comedians film their specials, too, they'll take a combination
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: of like one or two, like at least two or
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: three shows, Yeah, and then they'll take the best part
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: of you know, that went over the best and show one,
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: this went over the best, and show number two when
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: you can hear a pin drop in the audience, because
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: that's the best.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: You can find.
- 1:29:01Speaker 14: They don't want to because he's talking about serious things
- 1:29:03Speaker 14: like you know, sixty five year old historical things that.
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: Everybody knows about already. And it's one hour long, hour
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: five minutes because his setup just that joke so good. Yeah,
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: like he's deliberately just trying to kill time by repeating.
- 1:29:14Speaker 5: But yeah, I think he's crazy.
- 1:29:16Speaker 14: I think that's his whole thing, and why people worship
- 1:29:19Speaker 14: him is that it's this sudle intellectual intellectual nonsense.
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: Like I'm being very serious, very serious, very serious. I
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: mean I'm named it, duh blah blah. All right, Well,
- 1:29:26Speaker 5: maybe gets funnier. This is doesn't suck sea basses?
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: Does it suck? And you know, he's never been very
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: fair to Trevor Noah.
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: So I saw him hosting the Daily Show, and I
- 1:29:34Speaker 5: was like, oh, this isn't fun, but maybe this is
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: better Trevor, Noah's a new comedy session. So far, so
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: far no, but maybe it gets better, Maybe it gets
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: uh fure. I'm gonna say this, this next joke about Nicholas.
- 1:29:44Speaker 14: Maduro, the guy we we took out of this very
- 1:29:46Speaker 14: funny topic, right right, but yeah, it's not topical Botto
- 1:29:49Speaker 14: material there that's to work with.
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: I'm gonna say this.
- 1:29:52Speaker 14: I saw this joke coming from across the street and
- 1:29:55Speaker 14: down down four houses down. Let's see if you guys
- 1:29:58Speaker 14: can figure out what the joke's going to be again.
- 1:30:00Speaker 14: Nicholas Maduro getting brought to the US.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: And put in prison.
- 1:30:02Speaker 4: Got Maduro, brought him in, put him in a gym.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: Not just any prison, by the way.
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: They put him in a prison in Brooklyn, the same
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: prison where they're housing Diddy.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: Imagine that. Oh, I got it. I thought I had
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: problems Nicholas Maduro.
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: That I mean he's having What a crazy twist of
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: fake Can you imagine? For decades you ruled your empire
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: with an iron fist, You terrorized people around you, got it?
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: You were violent, never held accountable. And now they've taken
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: away all your oil and you're in the same prison
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: as Nicholas maduroes.
- 1:30:45Speaker 14: I being there, right, It's like the most basic joke structure.
- 1:30:50Speaker 14: The first five seconds I was like, okay, I know
- 1:30:54Speaker 14: where this is going. Yeah, and in the crowd, oh whatever?
- 1:30:59Speaker 14: Uh that again, these are all just the longest setups.
- 1:31:02Speaker 14: Here's a short one though. I get this next clip,
- 1:31:04Speaker 14: which is I wouldn't say this is as much a
- 1:31:05Speaker 14: joke as just he knows his audience and he knows
- 1:31:08Speaker 14: what they'll clap for.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: Again, this is he tapes this in DC, like.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: When of the I'm in Washington, d C. I like
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: to go and visit the National Museum of African American
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: History and Culture.
- 1:31:19Speaker 14: Oh, hold for applause, hold for a plus, black guy
- 1:31:23Speaker 14: goes to the museum for black guys.
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: You're so pray. That's awesome. The actual African.
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: Living in America goes to the African American History.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: So awesome.
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: All right, Trevoro's do comedy special?
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: Does it suck? All right? So waiting for it to
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: get better? Okay, so this is a bit. Here's more. Oh,
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: there's way more.
- 1:31:57Speaker 14: Unfortunately, so does this long bit about alien movies how
- 1:32:00Speaker 14: aliens whenever they come, like a Independence Day, they come
- 1:32:03Speaker 14: and they blow up you know, a d C, and
- 1:32:05Speaker 14: they blow up Paris, and they blow up Tokyo.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: But they never go and blow up Africa.
- 1:32:10Speaker 14: So he kind of recreates what that must would be
- 1:32:13Speaker 14: like if in these movies aliens blew up where he's
- 1:32:16Speaker 14: from Africa.
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: I genuinely thought I was a little kid. If you
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: ask me, like, how can you never see them in Africa?
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: Was like, oh, because they feel bad.
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: I thought the aliens felt bad for Africa. You know,
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: they'd be the ship that would fly over each continents
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: to blow it up, and then there'll be one over
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: the African continents.
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: Two aliens in the cockpit.
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: Like, prepare to launch photon lasers?
- 1:32:40Speaker 17: You get ready on your command three?
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: Ter wa wait wait, wait, hold on, I think we
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: already did this continent. I think we've been here. Negets here,
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: We've never been here before, blowing up?
- 1:32:53Speaker 11: What am I blowing up?
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: Look at this?
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: Something already happened. What the hell's going on here?
- 1:32:57Speaker 13: Dude?
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: What am I supposed to blow up?
- 1:32:59Speaker 7: Who did this? I don't know?
- 1:33:00Speaker 5: Checking now, pepe peep It says it was the British.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: Wow, that's that's let's see.
- 1:33:09Speaker 14: Oh that's awful plauseline because colonialists are bad and they
- 1:33:12Speaker 14: ruined the continent by bringing food in medicine and.
- 1:33:18Speaker 5: I just gonna laugh in this room.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: Something I would to see termino go on kill tony.
- 1:33:21Speaker 14: Oh oh, I don't think that would go that's because well,
- 1:33:26Speaker 14: here's what there's a problem is they only give you
- 1:33:27Speaker 14: a minute to tell a joke and that's just half
- 1:33:29Speaker 14: the setup, right, and that alien joke? I was like,
- 1:33:33Speaker 14: where did have I heard that premise? Before the Africa? Oh,
- 1:33:36Speaker 14: nineteen eighty five. Sam Kinnison did a much better job.
- 1:33:39Speaker 14: If if you're if you've missed it, ask your grandparents.
- 1:33:41Speaker 14: But here's a clip.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: If you want to stop warl hunger, stop sending them food.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Don't send these people another buy it phones. Do you
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: want to send them something? You want to help? Send
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: them you holes, send them mew holes some luggage and
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: send them a guy out there and goes, hey, you know,
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: we've been driving out here every day with your food.
- 1:33:57Speaker 7: Like the last I don't know thirty forty years and.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: It occurred to us there wouldn't be world hunger if
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: you people would live with the boot.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: That's got a wrong.
- 1:34:18Speaker 5: You see that this is sad.
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: It's saying, you know, it's going to be a.
- 1:34:22Speaker 7: Hundred years from now, it's going to be sad.
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: If he was.
- 1:34:30Speaker 14: Responsible, right, yeah, still be funny. That was why you
- 1:34:33Speaker 14: got to figure that. That was right in the middle
- 1:34:34Speaker 14: of all the live aid concerts. A different angle on
- 1:34:38Speaker 14: the Africa sucks joke.
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: That was like the we are the world right right
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: right right? Yeah, Well.
- 1:34:45Speaker 5: In mind to see if Trevor No's new comedy special
- 1:34:47Speaker 5: does it suck? I think it does indeed suck.
- 1:34:50Speaker 14: It's going to go to sleep too though, because again
- 1:34:52Speaker 14: they'll sty'll set up really good stuff.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: I wonder how much he made doing that. How much
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: do they pay him for that? I know, but he
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: had a house that you bought for like I want
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: to say, forty millions. The Daily Show, all right, more shows,
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: next time show again. Just wanted to thank everybody for
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: the what do you show? After I was takeover? If
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: you went, it's awesome and yeah week best one.
- 1:35:25Speaker 5: Yeah. We we had a lot of videos and stuff
- 1:35:28Speaker 5: that we posted, you know, on our Instagram, but we
- 1:35:31Speaker 5: saw a lot of things that you guys posted. I
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: checked in with a lot of people who were on
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: my guest list for the event. It seems like everybody
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: had a great time. Yeah, so thank thank you again
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: everybody to night yeah at Disney, all the all the
- 1:35:45Speaker 5: Disney folks for the opportunity to even yeah, even the
- 1:35:49Speaker 5: opportunity to do it in the first place, which is
- 1:35:52Speaker 5: which was great. And hopefully, fingers crossed, they'll have us
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: back again next year.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: Yeah, be honest, say it every year, I think so,
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: I mean, I would hope.
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: So, I would hope so. But yeah, thanks to thanks
- 1:36:04Speaker 5: to Disney, and to Alberton's and Vaughn's, you know, for
- 1:36:09Speaker 5: getting involved this year, all the different people who helped
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: make it happen in our marketing and promotion department, Katilla,
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: like everybody who won tickets. You got an email from Katia.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Boun.
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: She was she was working and balancing so many different things.
- 1:36:27Speaker 5: So I can't imagine. That's got to be a logistical nightmare.
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: You should take a week off and.
- 1:36:31Speaker 7: Still showed up looking like literal mini mouse.
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you see that a durable Yeah, I saw that.
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: That was pretty funny.
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a flawless night.
- 1:36:41Speaker 5: Yesterday was our twelfth anniversary of our very first show
- 1:36:48Speaker 5: here on ninety eight seven.
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: Yeah, twelve years so bizarre.
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: I was, I was talking to my wife, and twelve
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: years is the longest I've lived in any one place. Yeah,
- 1:37:00Speaker 5: even even more so than my hometown, Like.
- 1:37:03Speaker 7: You're including childhood. Yeah, that's insane.
- 1:37:05Speaker 5: Anywhere in my entire life. This is the longest I
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: have lived in any one place.
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: Wow, Yeah, I didn't know that counted childhood. That's yeah,
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: that makes it even u crazy or noteworthy. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: it's it's it's uh, it's pretty it's pretty weird to
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: think it's it's so weird.
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: Yeah, it's twelve yeah, twelve years we've been on you
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: know here at all, ninety eight to seven, and just
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: the way that that whole thing played.
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: Out and now and maybe played out that way, right, Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: I always think of it in terms of high school,
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: like we could have gone to high school three times.
- 1:37:38Speaker 5: No, that was so weird.
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: Three high schools. We went three high schools already. Remember
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: when high school is like your entire life. Yeah, we
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: did it three times.
- 1:37:48Speaker 8: Yeah, it was it was nuts that that anniversary happened
- 1:37:52Speaker 8: because I remember when we were we had that dinner
- 1:37:55Speaker 8: together and they're talking about us coming here, they're like, oh,
- 1:37:58Speaker 8: if you do well, you'll be here more than ten years,
- 1:38:00Speaker 8: like what they told us.
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: Because yeah, because it's radio and that that never happens.
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: We're like, okay, dude, whatever, sure.
- 1:38:08Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's never the way that that goes. I know.
- 1:38:10Speaker 5: But yeah, twelve years here at all, ninety eighty seven,
- 1:38:14Speaker 5: it's it's been crazy. It's been fun, and it's uh,
- 1:38:18Speaker 5: it's it's still super fun.
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: I mean, of course we awesome.
- 1:38:21Speaker 5: We still go through those times, you know, where it's like,
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: you know, it's just it's a grind and there's a
- 1:38:26Speaker 5: lot of things that are going on. But man, what
- 1:38:27Speaker 5: a great job, and you know, what a great thing
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: to walk into every day and to see when we
- 1:38:32Speaker 5: go to these events, whether it's you know, the Albertson's
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: thing that we did a couple of weeks ago, or
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: you know, Monday Night at Disney, and just how many
- 1:38:39Speaker 5: people are so just personally invested, you know, into the
- 1:38:45Speaker 5: and how much I'm sing, just how much it really
- 1:38:48Speaker 5: means to people, because it's hard to see it that
- 1:38:51Speaker 5: way when you when you sit here, right, it's just
- 1:38:53Speaker 5: kind of silly and we're talking about dumb stuff and
- 1:38:55Speaker 5: we're making fun of Trevor Noah's new comedy special.
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: What's going on there or or whatever it is.
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: But like you know, when you hear stories from people
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: about how much it means to them, Oh, yeah, it's
- 1:39:05Speaker 5: like wow, that's crazy.
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: Okay, well yeah it makes me emotional.
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: Yeah, like we're not we're not doing anything super important,
- 1:39:10Speaker 5: it feels, but then you hear about like what it
- 1:39:13Speaker 5: means and then you kind of go, oh, wow, I guess.
- 1:39:15Speaker 5: And the stuff that people have done something in the
- 1:39:17Speaker 5: last twelve years, Yeah, things.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: That we totally forget. Oh they remember more than we do. Yeah,
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: it's awesome thing. Yeah.
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: And the very first show that we had here at
- 1:39:27Speaker 5: all ninety eight seven, the very first song we ever
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: played it was a song called Know Your Enemy because
- 1:39:33Speaker 5: we we kind of put everybody on notice that day
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: and nobody know, nobody know at that point knew who
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: we were, and everybody super underestimated for sure what we
- 1:39:44Speaker 5: were going to be able to accomplish or how long
- 1:39:46Speaker 5: we were going to be. Nobody gave us a chance.
- 1:39:48Speaker 5: Everybody said that the show would be done within you know,
- 1:39:51Speaker 5: twelve to eighteen months.
- 1:39:52Speaker 8: Yeah, I was told I was making a wrong choice
- 1:39:58Speaker 8: by multiple people to like come here.
- 1:40:00Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, I was told it was career suicide.
- 1:40:04Speaker 5: Oh that's nice, and it's it's it's worked out great.
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: And we had been fired when we were doing the
- 1:40:11Speaker 5: show together. The last time we had done the show together.
- 1:40:13Speaker 5: It ended because we played a clip of a new
- 1:40:16Speaker 5: Green Day song that hadn't been released, hadn't been released.
- 1:40:20Speaker 5: It's going to be secrets. It's it's going to be
- 1:40:22Speaker 5: out next week. It's called No Your Enemy, and it
- 1:40:25Speaker 5: sounds pretty cool. They were in here the other day
- 1:40:27Speaker 5: playing it, and I had like a little tiny clip
- 1:40:29Speaker 5: that we had record just from sitting at our desks.
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: You would have thought you released the nuclear code? Dude?
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: How crazy is it? Full circle that Trey Coole was
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: at the event.
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: Oh yeah, John Stamos was at the event. On Monday,
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: Trey Cool was at the event. Tray Cool from the
- 1:40:44Speaker 5: Green Day. I think they bonded over drumming because they're
- 1:40:46Speaker 5: both drum and Yeah, but how crazy is it? Yeah,
- 1:40:50Speaker 5: that's pretty funny. And so the very first song that
- 1:40:52Speaker 5: we played after we got you know, the show back
- 1:40:54Speaker 5: together in our first eight here at ninety eight seven
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: was Green days know your enemy.
- 1:41:03Speaker 10: I sold a pair of my dirty workout socks to
- 1:41:05Speaker 10: a foot.
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: Free Now you consider selling other wingers.
- 1:41:18Speaker 11: No, I'm just serious.
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: Speaking of foot freaks and stuff.
- 1:41:25Speaker 5: You saw the thing about how like the door dash
- 1:41:27Speaker 5: delivery thing, they get better they say it, they get
- 1:41:30Speaker 5: better tips, like the chicks who are delivering for door
- 1:41:32Speaker 5: Dash or getting better tips if they put a picture
- 1:41:34Speaker 5: of their feet and took the picture of the delivery
- 1:41:38Speaker 5: on the.
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: Doorstep kind of thing. I'm sure that for some people.
- 1:41:41Speaker 5: There was another story that our friend Jeff g had
- 1:41:44Speaker 5: sent to me about this group of girls who they
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: went to Coachella and they paid for the whole thing
- 1:41:50Speaker 5: by selling pictures of their feet. Yeah, so when they
- 1:41:55Speaker 5: went to Coachella, feet picks paid for the whole trip. Wow,
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: I said, Me and my girls attended Coachella completely barefoot
- 1:42:02Speaker 5: this weekend. Most people assumed that we were influencers, only fans, models,
- 1:42:06Speaker 5: or just rich La girls trying to make his statement,
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: But we're far from that. We literally just showed up
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: barefoot and took a few pictures, and random men online
- 1:42:14Speaker 5: actually paid for those pictures and ended up funding.
- 1:42:16Speaker 2: Our entire weekend.
- 1:42:17Speaker 7: WHOA, that's crazy.
- 1:42:19Speaker 5: For context. We really wanted to go to Coachella, but
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: didn't have any money for it. Then we came across
- 1:42:22Speaker 5: a random TikTok. A girl was saying that she uses
- 1:42:26Speaker 5: feet Finder to pay for her Coachella trip every year,
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: and at first it sounded dumb, but then we looked
- 1:42:31Speaker 5: into it, did some digging. It's basically a marketplace where
- 1:42:35Speaker 5: people buy foot photos directly and it's huge.
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: Did some digging. Hey, he looked at the site.
- 1:42:39Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, whatever, googled and so they're like, we.
- 1:42:42Speaker 5: Could do that.
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: There's just no faces, there's no talking, there's no other
- 1:42:47Speaker 5: obligation and much all right.
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: They might get stocked and now now, I mean they
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: enjoyed Coachella, but now their lives are over.
- 1:42:55Speaker 5: And these guys will pay right between twenty and two
- 1:42:58Speaker 5: hundred bucks per.
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: Foe for it.
- 1:43:01Speaker 7: That's crazy. What are they doing in these pictures?
- 1:43:04Speaker 5: Simple foot photos, different angles and lighting. Sometimes custom requests put.
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: Your foot on what the lawn?
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:43:13Speaker 2: Could what could a request be? At coaching? You stick
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: it up in the air in front of the ferris wheel. Yeah,
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: I mean there's cool background artwork and stuff. Yeah, here
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: they are.
- 1:43:22Speaker 5: They're just in the field, but they're you know, sandals on. Okay,
- 1:43:26Speaker 5: so it's not just their feet. You can see them too.
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: No, that's a pictures of them taking a picture of
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: the feet. But you can see them though, and you
- 1:43:33Speaker 2: can tell that they're good looking.
- 1:43:35Speaker 5: Well yeah, but I guess it doesn't really matter if
- 1:43:37Speaker 5: you just have Yeah, Okay, there's there's a question for
- 1:43:40Speaker 5: the foot freaks.
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: Do you have to know what the person looks like
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: overall or is it just the foot behind?
- 1:43:45Speaker 8: Okay, So I'm on feetfinder dot Com and there's actually
- 1:43:49Speaker 8: a celebrity section where there's celebrities on there.
- 1:43:52Speaker 5: Celebrity feet.
- 1:43:53Speaker 7: Yeah, that's cool, find celebrity, Like is Madonna doing that?
- 1:43:57Speaker 14: I think what Menace was kind of gettingut there a
- 1:43:59Speaker 14: second ago, is this would be so easy to fake
- 1:44:02Speaker 14: with AI.
- 1:44:02Speaker 7: Yeah, let's do it, wouldn't it have like eight toes?
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: But then again, why, like I don't know, like, why
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: why do you even need that?
- 1:44:11Speaker 5: Like, like you have access to everything that's free, right,
- 1:44:14Speaker 5: it's the it's like who pays for porn?
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: Right, It's so that's the thing available. I almost wish
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: I had a foot fetish because what could be easier
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: to find them? A foot.
- 1:44:24Speaker 14: But that's the thing, is like, And I remember I
- 1:44:25Speaker 14: talked to the guys at the AVNA posted who pay
- 1:44:28Speaker 14: for porn, and they said it's because they knew the
- 1:44:31Speaker 14: person that it was tied to. Yeah, it's a real
- 1:44:33Speaker 14: person that I can really know, which kind of takes
- 1:44:36Speaker 14: the whole AI thing out of it.
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: Assuming you can't, you know, Woody Janelle Evans Team Mom
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: is on there. She only has two and a half.
- 1:44:45Speaker 6: That stars though she has jacked and oh she's some
- 1:44:48Speaker 6: nice photos in front of a fireplace the way you said.
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: That, I just want to make sure it's clear to
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: everybody listening. I don't have a thing for Janelle.
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: Said.
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: I was like, oh, hey like your girl, right, thank you.
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: Also to make sure it's super clear. Tara Reid, she
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: got three point six.
- 1:45:06Speaker 14: They find her has a live transaction like leaderboard to
- 1:45:10Speaker 14: kind of inspire women out there.
- 1:45:12Speaker 8: All right, what about dudes? Can dudes be on there?
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: Because I'm about to do it.
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: We've always talked about this, man.
- 1:45:17Speaker 7: I said, no, no, let's just do it to see
- 1:45:19Speaker 7: if we can get only exactly it's not for women.
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: There's not that many, all right.
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: If you have a foot fetish just go to the beach.
- 1:45:26Speaker 2: It's a buffet, but that's not.
- 1:45:28Speaker 7: Like naughty where it's not supposed.
- 1:45:30Speaker 5: When when Jeff had sent me a text about this thing,
- 1:45:33Speaker 5: I said, man, I just don't get the feet thing.
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: He was, I appreciate nice kept feet, but I'm not
- 1:45:38Speaker 5: paying for pictures like the dudes that pay for pictures
- 1:45:40Speaker 5: and obsessed with for feet. There are the weirdos like
- 1:45:42Speaker 5: that's that's where it becomes weird. But at the same time,
- 1:45:46Speaker 5: I kind of my wife. My wife is very disgusted
- 1:45:50Speaker 5: by people who have like that foot fetish thing, and
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: I go, look, it's not my thing. But the same
- 1:45:56Speaker 5: way that some people are like boob guys or ass
- 1:45:58Speaker 5: guys or they oh I like big long, sexy legs,
- 1:46:02Speaker 5: Like why isn't that considered? I think his feet are
- 1:46:05Speaker 5: just so like yeah, exactly, and they're they're goofy looking
- 1:46:11Speaker 5: with all the toes and people the nails and like whatever. Like,
- 1:46:14Speaker 5: But like, what's the difference between you know, being like
- 1:46:17Speaker 5: really into broad shoulders or like whatever else it is
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: that you would find attractive for whatever reason. These people
- 1:46:25Speaker 5: just find that part. It's what you do with it.
- 1:46:29Speaker 5: I think that makes it weird. Like the guys who
- 1:46:30Speaker 5: are the guys who are like, uh, you know, who's
- 1:46:33Speaker 5: the guy that got busted. He was hiding under chicks
- 1:46:35Speaker 5: cars or something in the parking lots, snapping pictures of
- 1:46:38Speaker 5: chicks as they came back to their car to get
- 1:46:40Speaker 5: a picture of their feet.
- 1:46:40Speaker 14: There was a guy I was felling on YouTube who
- 1:46:42Speaker 14: would offer free free foot massages, and he wouldn't, but
- 1:46:45Speaker 14: it was like clearly for that, yeah, and he's going like,
- 1:46:48Speaker 14: oh okay.
- 1:46:49Speaker 5: Or the people who are into like watching these feet
- 1:46:53Speaker 5: stepping on things, chips like potato chips to make the crunch,
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: or shrimp shrimp shells.
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: But if you're into boobs, let's just say boobs. Nice
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: chicks at Coachella aren't walking around topless, so it would
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: be close, but it would be more exciting to see
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: the actual boobs. If you're a foot fetish person, chances
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: are they're gonna be barefoot people at Coachella. There are
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: barefoot women at the beach, there are barefoot people at
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: the pool. How is it excited? Why would you ever
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: get excited to pay for a picture of a football?
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: You can go out right now, but sea feet everywhere.
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: The person that I want to see right, and it's
- 1:47:26Speaker 5: close up see now that said, Uh, props to the
- 1:47:30Speaker 5: chicks who are getting better tips by delivering good reads
- 1:47:33Speaker 5: and showing off their feet or these girls who are
- 1:47:35Speaker 5: you know, uh paying for their Coachella trip. I could again,
- 1:47:39Speaker 5: I'd go back to it.
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: If if there was a market for me to show
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: my feet, I would do that career out of it. Yeah,
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: why not? Like you care to do it right now?
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: You know, Sammy's so super opposed.
- 1:47:53Speaker 6: Very much opposed. Yes, because like you guys just said,
- 1:47:56Speaker 6: it's so creepy and like weird and also why can't
- 1:47:59Speaker 6: you just go out in public to be paying for that?
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: Is it creepy?
- 1:48:02Speaker 7: Weird?
- 1:48:02Speaker 8: You want people in public looking on people's feet.
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 1:48:06Speaker 6: But the point is is like why and again like
- 1:48:08Speaker 6: you're you're saying it's for the person because they like
- 1:48:11Speaker 6: that person. It's like, yeah, I don't need these creepy
- 1:48:13Speaker 6: people turning their energy onto me, No, thank you, But
- 1:48:16Speaker 6: they're going to notice you anyway.
- 1:48:17Speaker 5: Like so if you are a boob guy and you
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: had great boobs, like someone's gonna notice your great boobs anyway.
- 1:48:22Speaker 14: There between to be fair to see me. There's difference
- 1:48:24Speaker 14: between noticing and having a parasocial.
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: Relationship, right and opening the door to that.
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: Okay, that's understood.
- 1:48:32Speaker 5: That makes sense.
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: Money.
- 1:48:33Speaker 7: Yeah, and that's mailbox money. Yeah, you're not doing anything
- 1:48:39Speaker 7: considered money.
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: And when they look at your picture, it's not like, hey,
- 1:48:42Speaker 2: you can look at this, but I must give you
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: my address first.
- 1:48:45Speaker 14: If only we knew someone who sold her things online
- 1:48:47Speaker 14: and could maybe tell us if ben Ben had opened
- 1:48:50Speaker 14: her door to weirdo's salivating over her socks.
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: Yeah, but she's been kidnapping. We don't know where she is. Problem,
- 1:48:56Speaker 5: why she's not here, He's gone. She's actually gone for
- 1:49:00Speaker 5: her fight. Yeah, wow, the fight is this weekend, Morgan.
- 1:49:04Speaker 5: Morgan's fight is this weekend. She got a new opponent
- 1:49:06Speaker 5: if you missed that update, So she does have a
- 1:49:08Speaker 5: person that she's fighting. The weigh ins when seas saying
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: yeah before yeah.
- 1:49:14Speaker 14: Usually it's usually it's twenty four hours before roughly you
- 1:49:17Speaker 14: can rehydrate, get to get back in shape or whatever.
- 1:49:19Speaker 5: Gotcha? All right, Well, we wish Morgan the best there
- 1:49:22Speaker 5: and with her panty sock business as well.
- 1:49:26Speaker 17: Let's feeling, we're.
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: Feeling, we're doing it, We're doing it. I Woody Show eight.
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: It's how you called in be a part of the show, topic, contest,
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: whatever it might be. You can't send us a text
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: over to two to nine eight seven. I was trying
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: to find the specific text.
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: There's there was something in there. This listener was hitting
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: us up and hey, thank you for what you guys do.
- 1:49:56Speaker 5: Really enjoyed the show. It's kind of feeling kind of
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: stuck at work late summer.
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: On those lines.
- 1:50:02Speaker 5: I feel like they're not really kind of getting ahead
- 1:50:05Speaker 5: to where maybe they want to be. And you know,
- 1:50:08Speaker 5: I am a I am a collector of quotes, and
- 1:50:11Speaker 5: I meant to I thought like this this could be
- 1:50:14Speaker 5: something that if if you're going through something similar or whatever,
- 1:50:17Speaker 5: like you know, kind of feeling. You know, we were
- 1:50:20Speaker 5: talking about how when we first started this show, a
- 1:50:23Speaker 5: lot of people underestimating or you know, I think, suicide,
- 1:50:29Speaker 5: all that kind of stuff, and so, you know, it's
- 1:50:30Speaker 5: hard to not let some kind of self doubt or
- 1:50:33Speaker 5: whatever creep in. But there there's a there's a quote
- 1:50:37Speaker 5: I remember watching something Bill Cower, who was the head
- 1:50:40Speaker 5: coach of the Steelers for a number of years, and
- 1:50:42Speaker 5: you see him on the NFL Today pregame show and
- 1:50:46Speaker 5: it is a great quote, and he said, you're never
- 1:50:49Speaker 5: as good as you think you are, but you're never
- 1:50:51Speaker 5: as bad as they say you are. And then there
- 1:50:55Speaker 5: was another one.
- 1:50:56Speaker 2: This guy.
- 1:50:58Speaker 5: Was was talking about his acting career and he goes,
- 1:51:00Speaker 5: even at the height of your career, it's not going
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: to be what you think it's going to be because
- 1:51:06Speaker 5: you have this idea of like, you know what things
- 1:51:09Speaker 5: are going to be and how things are going to
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: be once you get to a certain you know way, yeah,
- 1:51:14Speaker 5: whether it's like, oh, well, by ten years in, I'm.
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: Going to be at this point and you're always waiting
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: for it.
- 1:51:19Speaker 5: Yeah, right exactly. I know a couple of people, especially
- 1:51:23Speaker 5: in this business, where they had this idea of they
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: were going to be something specific. I think they were
- 1:51:28Speaker 5: comparing themselves to other people, you know, who were doing
- 1:51:33Speaker 5: like a radio guy who was doing a television thing,
- 1:51:35Speaker 5: and they wanted to be that next person who did
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: that from radio to television thing. I they did some
- 1:51:40Speaker 5: of it, but never to the degree that this other person,
- 1:51:43Speaker 5: like I'll like Carson Diale is a perfect example of
- 1:51:46Speaker 5: a guy who went from radio. Ryan Seacrest went from
- 1:51:48Speaker 5: radio to television, and they were always comparing themselves to
- 1:51:51Speaker 5: these people who are.
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: That's a high water marlity, you know, in the very
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: very and.
- 1:51:56Speaker 5: This person was very successful, making really good money and
- 1:51:59Speaker 5: had ad a great and I had a great thing going.
- 1:52:01Speaker 5: And sometimes it's just a matter of keeping that perspective,
- 1:52:04Speaker 5: and especially on that you're you're never as good as
- 1:52:07Speaker 5: you think you are and never as bad as they
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: say that you are. That is so true.
- 1:52:11Speaker 2: I mean, I look at this show.
- 1:52:14Speaker 5: If you would just go on comments on Instagram or
- 1:52:16Speaker 5: things that you'll see online or whatever other show, you
- 1:52:19Speaker 5: would think we have no ratings and you know that
- 1:52:22Speaker 5: we were all fired forever ago. And it's not the case.
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: It's it's not the case at all. The show continues
- 1:52:29Speaker 5: to thrive and you know, bring in ratings and all
- 1:52:32Speaker 5: our paychecks clear. And I think that the people that
- 1:52:35Speaker 5: we work for, I think they're happy with us and
- 1:52:37Speaker 5: everything else. So, yeah, you can't you can't measure by
- 1:52:41Speaker 5: those things.
- 1:52:41Speaker 7: Yeah, you can't belive all the hype, you can't believe
- 1:52:43Speaker 7: all the criticisms.
- 1:52:44Speaker 5: And you also can't get in your own way about
- 1:52:46Speaker 5: you know, if yes, it's good to have like a
- 1:52:49Speaker 5: goal or something that you want to accomplish or you know,
- 1:52:52Speaker 5: aim for something. But I thought that was a good quote,
- 1:52:55Speaker 5: even at the height of your career, it's not going
- 1:52:57Speaker 5: to be what you think it's going to be, because
- 1:52:58Speaker 5: it's true. Nothing ever goes exactly the way you think
- 1:53:01Speaker 5: it's going to, no matter what, no matter how And
- 1:53:03Speaker 5: I'm a planner, no matter how how much planning and
- 1:53:06Speaker 5: how much you know things, I'll i'll you know, kind
- 1:53:09Speaker 5: of work ahead because I'm always trying to think of
- 1:53:11Speaker 5: what's the worst case scenario, what could go wrong here?
- 1:53:13Speaker 5: I want to have like a plan for if this
- 1:53:15Speaker 5: presents itself, what I was gonna do, and it never
- 1:53:18Speaker 5: goes to you end up in a situation where like,
- 1:53:20Speaker 5: well I didn't see that coming mm hmm, Yeah, you
- 1:53:24Speaker 5: worried for that, or you know, you you plan for
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: all these other things because it was going to go
- 1:53:28Speaker 5: this way, and something completely, yeah, completely unforeseen, comes up
- 1:53:33Speaker 5: and now you're dealing with.
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: That, you even think about that.
- 1:53:35Speaker 8: I was just watching an interview with this actor and
- 1:53:37Speaker 8: I'm sorry I can't remember his name because he's not
- 1:53:39Speaker 8: a household name yet, but he's like, yeah, just when
- 1:53:41Speaker 8: you think everything is on fire and going great, he
- 1:53:45Speaker 8: goes I was part of four major movies this year.
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: They all didn't do well. Yeah, you know, and he goes,
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: I thought this was gonna be my launching point. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:53:55Speaker 5: And so you just gotta, you know, keep thinking, keep
- 1:53:58Speaker 5: things in bro, try to things in perspective. I guess
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: the other one says. A text came in said me,
- 1:54:03Speaker 5: love all in.
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: I love you guys. All f the haters and keep
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: being awesome. You can't.
- 1:54:08Speaker 5: I mean, I know people have said this before, but
- 1:54:11Speaker 5: it is.
- 1:54:12Speaker 2: It is true. If nobody's hating on you, it's because
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: you're you're.
- 1:54:16Speaker 5: Not doing anything. You're not doing anything remarkable. Yeah, you're
- 1:54:19Speaker 5: not doing anything of interest. Because the typical people who
- 1:54:22Speaker 5: hate you one or two reasons. Number one, they just
- 1:54:24Speaker 5: think you're a jerk. You know. The other thing that
- 1:54:28Speaker 5: they'll hate you for is because you're you're doing more
- 1:54:31Speaker 5: than they are. You're more successful, you have whatever it
- 1:54:34Speaker 5: is you're doing things. Yeah, it is because you are
- 1:54:39Speaker 5: doing something of no, you are being you know, you
- 1:54:41Speaker 5: are successful and you're taking risks and people hate on that.
- 1:54:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: And a lot of times it's the people who should
- 1:54:47Speaker 5: be the happiest for you, the friends and family, you know,
- 1:54:50Speaker 5: they're the ones who not not that they're rooting against you,
- 1:54:53Speaker 5: but they're they they're they're not as happy for you
- 1:54:57Speaker 5: as they should be a.
- 1:54:58Speaker 7: Little passive aggressive Oh yeah in their eyes.
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:55:01Speaker 5: So look, if we if we sweated, every person has
- 1:55:05Speaker 5: said that, you know, you've lost a listener or who
- 1:55:09Speaker 5: talk smack on you know, whatever whatever platform. It is, like,
- 1:55:14Speaker 5: you just buy into that stuff and it's a it's
- 1:55:16Speaker 5: kind of a self fulfilling prophecy. The same way it's
- 1:55:19Speaker 5: a self fulfilling prophecy. The other quote that I love,
- 1:55:22Speaker 5: the minute you begin feeling feeling fine and fair is
- 1:55:25Speaker 5: the beginning of your downfall. The minute you start buying
- 1:55:28Speaker 5: your own hype is that when it's over. Yeah, it's over.
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:55:33Speaker 8: I see a lot of people in the industry get
- 1:55:36Speaker 8: really comfortable and then that's always their downfall.
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 1:55:39Speaker 5: So I got a couple people that hit me up
- 1:55:40Speaker 5: this morning because they made the announcement for where was
- 1:55:43Speaker 5: it they made the announcement for the Radio Hall of Fame.
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: Oh we got in.
- 1:55:50Speaker 6: No.
- 1:55:52Speaker 5: And again people people who are involved in the process like, hey,
- 1:55:55Speaker 5: you're getting nominated this year. They did this last year,
- 1:55:57Speaker 5: Remember I do There were so many people that are
- 1:55:59Speaker 5: involved that process that it hit me up about it
- 1:56:01Speaker 5: that I convinced myself like, oh, you know what. Maybe
- 1:56:04Speaker 5: the initial reaction was that there's no way that's ever happening,
- 1:56:07Speaker 5: just because we're not like the typical industry suck up
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: type of people, right, and that's.
- 1:56:11Speaker 2: Why we don't get like awards or do things like that.
- 1:56:15Speaker 5: But after like the third person, I'm like, huh, maybe
- 1:56:18Speaker 5: there's something here, maybe that is true. And then of
- 1:56:21Speaker 5: course that came out and then was was not you know,
- 1:56:24Speaker 5: there was there was no nomination. Yeah, but they just
- 1:56:27Speaker 5: came out with the new ones for twenty twenty six,
- 1:56:30Speaker 5: and what do you know, after again being told not
- 1:56:33Speaker 5: on that list, which is fine, Like, dude, it's fine.
- 1:56:37Speaker 5: I never expect I don't think we will ever. This
- 1:56:40Speaker 5: show me who none of us will ever be in
- 1:56:43Speaker 5: this conversation.
- 1:56:44Speaker 2: It's just it's not.
- 1:56:45Speaker 5: Meant for that, and it's not important.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: I mean, you're you're actually absolutely correct with all that.
- 1:56:49Speaker 5: The same way all this stuff does not, you know, matter,
- 1:56:52Speaker 5: the same way that the other things that people say
- 1:56:55Speaker 5: on platforms. It doesn't matter because it's not reality. This
- 1:56:57Speaker 5: isn't reality either, don't they need for real because it's
- 1:57:01Speaker 5: not a big radio Hall of Fame.
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: I mean, look, it's cool, Like I'm happy for some
- 1:57:06Speaker 2: of these people.
- 1:57:06Speaker 5: There are some people on this list. I'm like, oh wow,
- 1:57:08Speaker 5: funk Master Flex for example, that's a guy definitely who
- 1:57:13Speaker 5: should who should definitely be a part of this. Other
- 1:57:15Speaker 5: guy Shotgun Tom Kelly's school radio guys, but like he
- 1:57:21Speaker 5: should be. He should be wondered with that. It's you
